Some pharmacies now sell 25mg, 50mg and 100mg Vit V legit called "Wan ai ke". They usually have a "wan aike" poster in the window.

I am pretty sure the going rates in Beijing is 600-1000Y FS in establishments (hotels, saunas, ktv's, etc) and 400-600Y FS by independents. I was more interested in the prices of outside the 4/5 rings of BJ or even in the suburbs (30 min drive).

For example, I was given prices: 400/600/800Y for different service levels at a nice 4 star hotel in the suburbs. 400HJ/600FS/800DeluxeFS. The regular room was included or I could rent a huge VIP room for 12 hrs (not necessary) for separate 800Y fee. The place was only a year old so everything was new and nice (each room had 30" flat screen tvs and the VIP had a 40" flat screen and auto MaiJong table), but I still thought the price was steep for not being downtown WangFuJing or ChaoYang. I want your opinions.

Staying in Wuzhou Crowne Plaza with the boss nearby, so I couldn't try any of the multitudes of mamasans and freelancers patrolling the area. Well, you’ve gone quite far, Yanjiao is actually Hebei Province if I’m not mistaken. On my side, I haven’t been farther than TongZhou for night activities (I mostly speak here about KTVs). I came to the conclusion that you can find affordable prices nearly everywhere (100 for a girl in KTV), and this no matter where you are, near eastern fourth ring or suburbs. This could be Langfang.

Across from Langfang International Hotel is said street area. I would guess about 10 bars or so ( or better say f**k places ). Prices were quoted 150 for one or 300 for 2 girls. I am talking about RMB not US$ or EURO. There were a few quite good lookers there but I was also late so selection during day or early evening migth be better. Girls were very friendly and place seemed to be save although no 5* for sure.

Just had extensive stays at China World and Peninsula. I was a bit apprehensive after reading reports about hotel security stopping girls.

I can report that there is no problem brining girls to your room. China World has extensive security and an elevator-man who guides you to the elevator. At first that worried me, but he gave me no problem what so ever. I brought girls in day, evening and late night. Never any problem.

(At least for now - some Chinese friends said this might change if the government decides to clean things up before the olympics.).

Some recent Beijing Experiences:

1.
I much prefer Hard Rock to Maggie's.

I found Maggie's too dark, too crowded (at least on weekends), too noisy, and I was not impressed by the quality of girls. It is also annoying that the best looking girls are the Chinese girls working for the bar. They don’t go home with clients. So you're stuck taking home someone MUCH less attractive than the girls dominating the scene.

Hard Rock, starting at around 11, was impressive. There are some very beautiful women there, all types.

2.
I particularly liked the Mongolian working girls - some of them are very passionate and likable. The Chinese girls were much less interesting in bed - and less likable as people.

3.
The mamasan's outside China World never sent me really good looking girls. Some of them were ok, some were dreadful, and none were great. They were also the ones with the most 'professional' attitude (in a negative sense).

4.
Five girls tried to increase the price by asking for extra in order to do BBBJ. They start with condom, when I complained, they asked for more money. Try to make this clear in advance.

5.
It is a very nice experience to go home to the girl's apartment. If you click with someone, try it. I did this twice. Both apartments/studios were relatively clean and central. Here is an itinerary I made last week-end in the afternoon. This area seems to be mostly for Chinese locals even if you can see some LaoWai, speaking a bit of Chinese may be helpful.

From GuoMao Qiao (or GuoMao subway station) south-east corner, walk south until the river canal. Turn east in the small road on the south side of the river. This is a Hutong-style street, except that one side is the river bank.

You will pass several small shops, mini-BBS with only 1 or 2 girls behind their window or on their doorstep (didn’t ask for service type or price, but probably cheap).

Then, before a big red building, some hairdressers. I tried one, 10RMB for traditional GanXi (dry wash or head massage with shampoo), haircut AND 15mins of head / shoulders / back / arms massage. For this price, great service but deplorable hygiene: for the adventurers, I would advise to take your own towel when you dry your hair or lie on the bed for massage.

Then, in the red building, a “Club 9” or something. I don’t know what’s going on here at night.

The next building is a Chinese style building divided in 2 parts:

- second-hand market with mobile phones, computers, air-conditionners, and 4RMB DVDs!
- flower and plant market, big choice for cheap price

Continue to the east, you’ll pass an open-air vegetable and fruit market, low price.
At this point you arrive on the side of a larger street (north-south direction). Cross it and continue to the east. You are now in another big market. Take your time and you can find nearly everything here.

Itinerary recommended for those who are on a limited budget. Of course, price is to be negotiated.

Was in Maggies a couple of nights ago. Got there around 1am and the place seemed to be packed. Lots and lots of girls, all shapes and sizes. Hilton - would usually say RTFF, especially on mon morning, but I'll let you off just this once. Bar one is about 100metres out of the hilton door. Hostess bar with some great looking gals, but no take out available. Girls finish about 5am, so if you do manage to woo one, your going to have to wait up late. I totally agree with Sid. I've had the stunners and not-so-stunners alike from there and rarely paid more than 500rmb as a gift. Including many 3some at the same price. In "Whenever-Beijing" magazine, found in most japanese places, there's ad space for massages as well as hostess places.

I decided to try out one from "Re4 lang4 pao4 pao4" which advertised some Dalian and Yunnan girls. I tried one of the new Dalian girls and didn't find it very good. I remember a post that asked about the sauna service at taiyue. This is called ispa and it is located on the fifth floor of tower two.

There is not much to write about. I went there last week. My hotel is a 5 star that is not service or girl friendly. I chose the Thai massage service because this was the service that was in question. I had a lovely massage, but no extra services were offered. The girl was cute; she said she was 25 years old.

I had a great time with her and we both spent half the time laughing. I had a terminal case of the giggles that day. I went at 5pm; but, if you go before 2pm you get a 50% discount. Massage length is 90 minutes and the cost is 350 RMB without the discount.

The shower in my room was very small and I almost burned myself because I knocked the faucet to red hot as I was soaping myself. All service is provided with you wearing a ridiculous pajama before any massage activity starts.

If you are a size XL you will be ok; but if you are a size XXL, or XXXL I don’t think they can find you a pajama and I don’t know what they will do in that case. I tried to insist not wearing the pajama top and she flat out refused in a good natured way.

I just wanted to write up a quick report on the Qi Lu Hotel. Granted, this was from almost a year ago now, but I really didn't enjoy the experience so thought it would be worthwhile to warn people.

1. First, go the popular "Sanlitun" bar street - every taxi driver in Beijing knows it well. The best bet to have save and high quality sauna service in BJ will be the sauna at the B1 level of TianLun Dynasty hotel around the Wanfujang. That's my favorite place in BJ because you are guaranteed of safety and quality of service, girl & facilities. Upon arrival, go straight to the VIP room and the manager will get you a line up of 4 to 5. Lessons learned:

1. Only agree to go with them if they have their own place or I don't mind using my hotel. No more saunas and the charges they accrue.

2. Be firm on 300 for the pimpette and 100 - 200 for the tip. I have a feeling that might even be too much.

3. I saw some other girls walking around who I would have preferred to be with. Next time I'll just approach them directly and see if they're available or not instead of going through middlemen (or middlewomen).

Several people have asked for address on this: 47 Jiuxianqiao Rd. After you make the right on Jiuxianqiao Rd and head south (?), go past the McDonald's (which is near the canal/river); then go past 2 traffic lights. correct, no "actions" in durty nellies. Normal Irish bar serving food and drinks. However, it is located just a hundred metres from the walk of shame, so theres plenty of street walkers in the surrounding area.

These two places are very close to Maggie's.

Think of the St. Regis Hotel as the starting point. To get to Hollywood, come out of the St. Regis Main entrance, go north to the 2nd traffic light, You'll see the MOSCOW retaurant on the NE corner. This traffic light is the junction with Guanghua Road (Guanghua Lu) Turn right to get to Maggie's.

To get to Hollywood, go straight, NORTH up the East side of Ritan Park. (Ritan Xilu). Hollywood is on the left.

To get to Absenta, From the traffic lights above, TURN LEFT, past the US Ambassador's residence (which is on the NW corner of the traffic lights.) Go to where the road narrows. JOHN BULL pub is on the left, TURN RIGHT, go about 100-150 meters. ABSENTA is on the left.

Russian professional girls are not so "in your face" as Mongolian or Chinese, you need to approach them. Approach them even if they are a group of 3-4 sitting at a table - they can be a little shy. Out of curiosity, has anyone ever picked up a girl in the subways of BJ? Does anyone ever use them? Stayed at the days inn off of 3rd ring road (directly behind the antique market, across from best western). Chinese 5 star, very clean and good facilities. Room service could not negotiate below 800 RMB but had it twice and on both occasions was good service. Must specify on the phone that you want special service as otherwise they only send a massage girl and you must 'change girl' later on. I noted that they also have a full service sauna on the premises but did not go downstairs to sample the facilities as I was lazy.

I have been told more than once that if they do actually go with a customer, and the boss finds out, they will get fired.

Been following this forum for months and now have an opportunity to put this knowledge into action. Know about locations, prices and girls at well know haunts such as Maggies, Pig and HR. Intend to visit them in my 8 nights in your capital. Staying at the Harmony Hotel very close to the central railway station. It's only a 3 star but what I save on the hotel I can spend on other pursuits !! What I would really like to know is are there any Barber Shops in that area or within a taxi ride. I always suggest a stop at the P&W for a quick preview of the later action at Maggies. You are likely to have an easier chance at communication and of course 'sampling' before you try one on for the long haul later. I don't know of any that will ask more than 5xx for 'dinner and' - in fact many will happily go out with you for dinner and then catch up later at Maggies. Remember, the more active of the horde are doing 3 and sometimes 4 of you a night! Others are completely empty - so you need to engage and watch carefully to choose the creme de la creme.

Featherlite and Ultra Thin are not available in China. If you need something simillar try the Japanese Brand Okamoto. They have one that is Call Super Skin. It available in some bigger medical stores only.

Zeta Bar Update – The Hilton now has a reasonably classy bar called Zeta Bar. Very classy up-market bar, drink prices are in the same league as RedMoon and Centro. A nice bar to relax for a drink or two. I have found their tends to be two general types of mongers (and providers for that matter) the Mr Nice and Mr Evil types.

A. Mr Evil characters are easy to spot, they put a lot of focus on price/performance – or getting the lowest price for the most physical service – or reducing the cost per hole entered ratio down as low as possible. Nothing wrong with this, but these guys tend to rarely get caught out on the small rip off's some girls (Miss Evil) tend to go into – on the other hand they tend to get involved in the really big rip-off's so its not all good.

B. Mr Nice guys tend to be harder to spot, but they are the guys who go for the better looking girls and are prepared to pay more. They also tend to buy drinks for the girls, take them for dinner and basically treat them like normal women. Obviously, the objective of all of this is to get a GFE – not a 6 holes penetrated in 4 hours for $20RM per hole type of GFE, but the girlfriend GFE where you actually believe the girl likes you and gives you nice girl friend kisses. The problem with Mr Nice guys are they get caught out on all the small cons, like the 1. Pay me first routine, 2. You only get 60min, etc. They rarely get involved in the big cons, (like the free sex in the KTV when a bunch of guys burst in and demand money to not report you to the police), but the little cons do leave a bad taste in ones mouth. Thus the best way to avoid this pit fall is to have a basic check list of YES/NO questions, where a specific answer means you need to disengage. I have a number of rules i always follow and now i need to add some new rules for Mr Nice Guys. (Mr Evil does need these rules)

1.Avoid freebies (unless you intend to really have them as your girlfriend). Girls who are regular providers are typically not good girlfriends – so best to always follow the advise of another member of this web site and remember, you pay them to leave – not to have sex with.
2.Never go shopping with your provider, no matter how friendly you have become. Its always best to give them money and tell them to go shopping without you. They end up buying expensive junk they would never otherwise buy which means your at-risk is high (Sort of like forward-selling) If they have the cash in their hands, they tend to be more prudent, as they know the cash will run out.
3.If the girl is putting pressure on you to make them your freebie – and you resist – always be careful when going to their place. They will spend a lot of time trying to impress you with what a good house wife they could be. They also spend a lot of money on expensive junk for their flat to impress you and which you normally end up paying for.

I think your break downs are accurate as far as a "gender" goes, but to name it "mr.evil" is the only part I disagree with. Maybe these guys, and on occassion myself, do prefer the 6 holes in 4 hours or the cheap and nasties, but as long as a negotiation has been fairly made and the partner is willing, I really dont think this can boil down to being "evil". Mr Evil – I must admit thinking a long time on what to call my Mr Nice guy opposites, my original thought was Mr Nasty, but that is not really correct as these guys are not nasty, only very performance focused. I suppose a better name may be Mr Efficiency, but i must admit it does not have the same ring to it, so i use Mr Evil in the English context (as per austin powers) but now i realise if you look at it from an American context Mr Evil is rather over the top. There are two cheap hotels close to Hollywood which were used, Ritan is the more expensive option - about RM600-800 a night - and there is another one close to the North Korean embassy which is very cheap (I can't remember the price, but i think it was about RM200-300 - god only knows what its like however) - if i find the name i will send you a PM. However, back in the old days i knew this was a common option for chinese guys, but its not so easy any more and i only hear laowai's take this option. I am not sure why. Of course if you are a laowai with a foreign passport there should be no issues. None of these hotels offer a short time stay - it has to be for a whole evening. There are of course a lot of expensive options close by, but we are talking about RM1050 and upwards per night.

I went to check out and told them that I had received a call from a friend and would be staying at his apartment for the night near the airport so that's why I was leaving early. They didn't charge me and said have a good night. Over the last 4 years, I've done this twice at the Jing Guang and once at the Kunloon and each time they didn't charge me.

Just another option and hopefully without cost. Probably would not happen if you went in at midnight and out at 3 am though. But since I was out by 9pm or 10pm, they didn't charge me.

The road forks AFTER you pass the sauna..The sauna has a small storefront, restaurants next to it..The problem is I only know pinyin. I lerned the sign for 47 but couldn't see it.

Zeta Bar Update – The Hilton now has a reasonably classy bar called Zeta Bar. Very classy up-market bar, drink prices are in the same league as RedMoon and Centro. A nice bar to relax for a drink or two. As for providers, the place was so full of staff it would be hard for any providers to hang around – but my bet is eventually they will start appearing slowly, but in very low numbers.

I also have noticed Absent Night-club is advertising in the That's Beijing Magazine – which should increase the number of non-Russian clients. I tend to like this club, but it clearly has some funny Russian Mafia link so don't make any trouble when you are in the club. I have also heard the Russian Mafia are trying to get girls on the Mafia plan into this club – which is not really good for any-one, apart from the Mafia. I have not met any girls their on this type of arrangement (which normally consists of the girls passport being held by some shadowy character) but i suspect it will not work well in this city, as the police tend to be far more efficient than in the UK – but time will tell.

Now i will descend into my normal “wise man” observations, which i normally do after i have learnt some critical lesson after a bad experience.

I have found their tends to be two general types of mongers (and providers for that matter) the Mr Nice and Mr Evil types.

A. Mr Evil characters are easy to spot, they put a lot of focus on price/performance – or getting the lowest price for the most physical service – or reducing the cost per hole entered ratio down as low as possible. Nothing wrong with this, but these guys tend to rarely get caught out on the small rip off's some girls (Miss Evil) tend to go into – on the other hand they tend to get involved in the really big rip-off's so its not all good.

B. Mr Nice guys tend to be harder to spot, but they are the guys who go for the better looking girls and are prepared to pay more. They also tend to buy drinks for the girls, take them for dinner and basically treat them like normal women. Obviously, the objective of all of this is to get a GFE – not a 6 holes penetrated in 4 hours for $20RM per hole type of GFE, but the girlfriend GFE where you actually believe the girl likes you and gives you nice girl friend kisses. The problem with Mr Nice guys are they get caught out on all the small cons, like the 1. Pay me first routine, 2. You only get 60min, etc. They rarely get involved in the big cons, (like the free sex in the KTV when a bunch of guys burst in and demand money to not report you to the police), but the little cons do leave a bad taste in ones mouth. Thus the best way to avoid this pit fall is to have a basic check list of YES/NO questions, where a specific answer means you need to disengage. I have a number of rules i always follow and now i need to add some new rules for Mr Nice Guys. (Mr Evil does need these rules)

1.Avoid freebies (unless you intend to really have them as your girlfriend). Girls who are regular providers are typically not good girlfriends – so best to always follow the advise of another member of this web site and remember, you pay them to leave – not to have sex with.
2.Never go shopping with your provider, no matter how friendly you have become. Its always best to give them money and tell them to go shopping without you. They end up buying expensive junk they would never otherwise buy which means your at-risk is high (Sort of like forward-selling) If they have the cash in their hands, they tend to be more prudent, as they know the cash will run out.
3.If the girl is putting pressure on you to make them your freebie – and you resist – always be careful when going to their place. They will spend a lot of time trying to impress you with what a good house wife they could be. They also spend a lot of money on expensive junk for their flat to impress you and which you normally end up paying for.
4.Always link payment with service. There is obviously a bottom price which you will always pay, but only over-pay if service is good and never over-pay if the service is not so good. If you have them as your regular provider fuck-buddy, service can drop over time. So always pay based on service.
5.When they start talking about how much money problems they have – be cautious. If they suddenly have health problems, be very cautious.
6.When you discover yourself in a super market with your provider, buying groceries (which typically you pay for) its probably time to disengage. Your professional relationship has moved off-course somewhat.

So, have fun, keep a cool head and avoid some of the typical Mr Nice pitfalls. As for Mr Evil, my only advise is, if it seems to good to be true, it typically is not true.

Alright guys, this is my first report from Beijing. I just got back from the Sauna at Chun Xiu Lu and thought I should report back.

Most interesting - i must admit not having the same experience in my roadtest. On a non-related thread, I'm back in Beijing this weekend for the first time in a coons age. For a few nights I'll be at Kerry, but I'll also be at Rosedale for a few nights too. It's a pretty good hotel that is always almost empty, out by Lido. Is the Pig still overrun by US Embassy construction workers ? Pig is a decent pub but I can't stand it's tiny space, ugly rude american patrons, and heavy smoking clientel.

The US Embassy construction workers are still in full force almost evern night now at the Pig. A lot of them are staying at the Rosedale and Lido apartments, so they are within walking distance. They are hard working guys who play just as hard. I would not call them rude, but most of them are young (early 20's), so they still have a lot of [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) and vinager in them. They are ceretainly loud. On the plus side, they do seem to understand the pricing structure, so they are not upsetting the market. In addition, the girls know they are there, so after 9 pm the place is packed with girls too.

If you stay at the Rosedale I also recommend the new Frank's Bar in Trios. Not a girl hangout, but I nice place for a beer or dinner before you go out hunting.

Will try to post a GOOGLE EARTH PLACEMARK. Need to scout out the area more carefully for landmarks first... I think from your descriptions, that you probably went TOO FAR on Jiuxianqiao Rd. The road forks AFTER you pass the sauna..The sauna has a small storefront, restaurants next to it..Hey. Scouted this place in late July before flying out. Was a looong walk, and I actually passed the place before doubling back. Yeah, I spotted the place, thought "Is this it?" and then kept walking. Then, I realized there was like nothing else ahead. I used to live in Beijing myself in 96/97. There were a few BBS (actually just a store front with a curtain across the back) I frequented near the Asian Games Village. I am a Sauna buff and have searched for this place without success despite Beijing Xiber's directions. I ended up at the south end of the street at one of the barber shops and asked them about a sauna but they did not know so I stayed for an ok hand job. That BBS did not offer anything more ("not even for 5000Y")

I spent a favorable two days in beijing and since was my first time here this forum was very helpful since I didn't know where to look around for some action.

Meiguo- I liked your report. I understand where you are coming from about the chinese and I also share your concerns to a certain extent. However, what Lao Ma is trying to tell you is also true. No newbie or anyone for that matter, can expect to get a good taste of chinese by only visiting pig-hard rock-maggies for 3 weeks solid. On the other hand, the alternative bars which Lao Ma did mention, do not strike me as the places I would go looking to pull whether P4P or not. Centro is fake, and Im guessing the new hilton bar will be the same. For chinese P4P, BBS & saunas are the best option, but if you fancy a shot at the freebie market, then the list is endless.

Changshu- Easy boy, the sauna on chun xiu lu is 100 metres at the most from the intersection with dongzhimen. 800 metres would see you in the workers stadium :D

South Gate- You definatly do seem like a bit of a sauna buff which makes me suprised you couldnt find the sauna on chun xiu lu. Come on man, its huge!! try Changshu's directions next time but take note of my point above also.

In some ways i understand your sentiment, but i do not not agree with your primary observation. I agree Beijing is not designed for the tourist, thus, unlike shanghai, manila and Bangkok, its not all laid out and easily available. It takes a great deal of time and energy to find what you are looking for. In addition, with an understanding of the pricing structure and some negotiation, you can get what you want at the correct price. Why, the mama-san's at GuoMao were offering rather nice girls for a ST for RM600, with no negotiation, a few weeks ago (I checked out the girls, they were reasonable - i suspect the police activity during the last few months has made many of the SW providers a bit desperate)

So for a quick break down you seem to have 4 issues;
1 Lack of Young Girls
2 Lack of Quality Girls

1. YOUNG : I must admit finding someone in the 18 years age bracket is an issue if you do not have Chinese skills. If you speak the lingo, you can find some nice young girls in the normal SW locations, Lufthansa Centre and around Kunlan Hotel. Some of the mama-sans at the Sheraton and even China World have some young girls. Some KTV's will have young girls, but not many that i have seen. But if you are ok with the 21-24 age bracket - no issues. They tend to be more experienced.
2. QUALITY : This is an interesting comment. I assume by quality you mean either looks or skills. On the skill level, yes some of the providers do lack skill - no argument. But the older girls who speak English tend to be good and the girls out of the KTV are very skilled indeed. Anyway, if they lack skill - the idea is to take control. I had a terrible experience in Bangkok recently due to a low-skilled girl, so it happens everywhere. As for looks, this is also a common issue everywhere. Finding Model quality girls is hard in any city - it takes me ages to locate a model quality girl in Bangkok, let alone Beijing - but they are available, nonetheless. (I may do a report later identifying where i have found model quality girls in Beijing - if i have time) As reference, i have attached an example of what i mean by model quality.
3. ACCESS : This i have commented on above. Beijing is not a tourist mongering location - you need to put some effort into finding the best places. I actually class Beijing with Bangkok in terms of availability and good experiences, but Beijing requires more effort in searching.
4. PRICE : The price range varies massively in Beijing (unlike many other cities), the girls at Diamond Age will ask for US$500 for LT, the girls handing around the Lufthansa Centre can be got for RM300 - less during the correct time of year. It takes effort to get the correct price point, so i agree its harder to get a good deal, but still possible. My caveat is that Beijing is more expensive than Bangkok for the same service - but its hard to find anywhere cheaper than Bangkok or Manila.

Get to the Pizza Hut on DongZhimen road, (its just 500metres west of the Aussie embassy).

Walk SOUTH cross the intersection(Dongzhimen and ChunXiu), keeping walking south on ChunXiu Lu, walk on the EAST side of the Street, walk for about 800m, you will see the sauna after you pass some restuarants. It has a very fancy enterance.

If walk past the Red looking building that has the Football Club in it then you have gone too far south.

One thing that you can do is if you walk past the sauna but miss it then cross to the other (west) side of the road and walk north, sometimes its easier to see places on the other side of the road.Okay here is the text from my ealier post with detailed instructions. If you follow these directions and still can not find it, than I really don't know what to tell you other than get a new pair of glasses!

Chunxiu Lu is the street where Seasons Park apartments are located. Going west on Gongti Beilu from the 3rd ring road towards the 2nd ring road, you will be turning right off Gongti Beilu heading north onto Chunxiu Beilu.

Once on Chunxiu Lu, you then pass by a stop light followed also by the entrance to Seasons Park (with a big sign) on your left. About a 100 meters or so before you get to Dongzhimenwai Dajie, to your right, will be the Sauna & Spa. It has a big fancy entrance with lots of lights and also a big entrance lobby. On the left side of the entrance lobby is the cashier counter.

If you go too far north you will see the sign for another sauna spa and then after that the intersection of Chunxiu Lu and Donzhimenwai Dajie with Pizza Hut located on the north east corner.

its best to start at a definition of what a “model” class girl is. unlike bangkok, where all the local high class ktv's regularly class girls as model, regular and special and create a sub group of a, b and c within each class – i have never seen any such formal system in beijing. the closest classification i have ever seen was the passion girl classification, where the owner had to approve the girl was good looking enough. they normally followed my definition below.
thus – a model is someone who would possibly be a cat-walk model in a fashion show – thus is typically tall, thin, classic breasts (champaign glass variety) and attractive face. they normally dress and act like a model as well. they should look young, but can be any age. unfortunately they are typically terrible in the sack, tend to be arrogant and can be very bitchy – but they are good looking. they will also demand vast amounts of cash – so you need your negotiation skills.
starting from the airport and moving in a south-west direction lets look at the possible habitats of this most elusive creature. i will only cover places where you can get mongering service.
* bbs around the lido – i think we can quickly remove this as a possible habitat. i have never seen a model class girl working in any bbs, let alone the bbs around the lido.
* cafe del mar – same story – you will get some nice young girls, but none are model class.
* pig & thistle – its possible. i have seen some mongolian model types and very rarely a chinese model type – but in all cases they seemed very aloof, so i never bothered with them. in short bad vibe, but they were very nice. as for frequency, i think in about 100 visits i have seen about 6 model types, 3 on one day.
* hard rock cafe – i must admit rarely going to this establishment, thus i have to admit never seeing any model types in the few times i have dropped by after 11pm.
* street walkers in the sheraton parking lot – i have seen a few model types, but the last one i saw were about 2 years ago. these days they keep the girls out of the way, so its harder to get a quality check. i would suggest its possible, but very unlikely.
* landmark ktv – yes i have seen 1 or 2 – but you need to get in early. i also was not sure if they were available for take-away. this is possibly a reasonable place to go to in the search for this elusive mammal.
* charming baby club – assuming this place is still open – forget it.
* poly centre ktv – i have never seen any model types, but i have to admit the most experienced and enthusiastic girls i have ever come across come from this fine establishment. i strongly recommend it, but not for models.
* den – possible, but i would not go to the den for a model type. the only model types i have ever seen their was one russian and one chinese – after 8 years that is not a good track record.
* vics – very possible. i have seen some very nice model types, but this is a freebie location rather than a p4p. the same goes for babyface and the other disco's around the workers stadium.
* blue fox bar – lots of providers, but no models that i have ever seen.
* basking 31 robbins sw – never seen any model types in this infamous location.
* arias – lost of wood-be models, but few real models. but they exist. the only problem with this location is the quantity – typically a few girls will sit for a few hours drinking and then leave if there are no customers – so you have to be lucky to come across a model type. but apart from the landmark ktv and discos around the workers stadium its the best location for these type so far.
* starbucks – i have never come across model types, but like the sheraton the girls are not normally on show and you are normally only given a small selection – so while i have never come across a model type, they may exist.
* hollywood – for about 6 months of the year there will be 2-3 model types in this establishment (russian). the best time of the year is about the aug-jan time frame, so they should be their now – however i have not been in hollywood's for a few months so can't confirm this. i normally use this as my most regular supply of model types, but they are not chinese.
* absenta – i have seen a few – but some may not be providers. i need to investigate this location more.
* maggies – i must admit never coming across a real model type, a few of the mongolians can come close, but very few. but as has been mentioned on this site many time before, the service level of these fine lady's is excellent.
* diamond age – this, along with the landmark, is one of the places the famous passions girls ended up. you will find model class girls here – but you need to get in early and be prepared to pay. unlike passions, diamond age also lets in less than attractive lady's, so you will come across some very average providers.
* banana's – same as the disco's around the workers stadium. a freebie location. if you are good looking you may be able to pull a model, if you are a middle ages brit – forget it.
* sunshine club – there are a number of close to model types here. like diamond age a good location to go model hunting.
* tianlun ktv – i have no personal experience, but i have had good reports. i suspect this may also be a good model hunting location.
* peninsular hotel ktv – same as tainlun ktv.
* oriental centre shopping mall – never found any.
* ktv's around beiwei lu – lots of enthusiasm, but no models. actually the same goes for most local chinese ktv's – girls are enthusiastic, provide reasonable service, but speak no english. however these places are very cheap.
* mariott beijing west – ktv in basement – some nice lady's, but no models that i could see.

summary
if i was to go model hunting i would focus on two main areas – the first are russian models at hollywood and absentia, but as we are mainly focusing on chinese models let move on to my next area. these are the high-class ktv's which cater to taiwanese, koreans and japanese. diamond age, tianlun ktv, peninsular ktv and sunshine club. they normally have a few model types in each.
i must admit not being an expert, but there are a few lessons you need to take note of.
1.the first is that there are only a very few model types available, thus you need to get in early and pick a day which is not too busy, nor too quiet. i would suggest wednesday & thursday being the optimum time frame. (note : once you have contact details, you do not need to worry about this). personally, i feel if there are no model types available, its best to move on.
2.some ktv's will have a bar, some will not. if you are by yourself and you do not wish to actually partake in a ktv experience, you need to make a quick selection and leave. when there is no bar you will need to get the owner to provide you with a line up – if you see no models ask to see more girls. if there is a bar its actually more difficult, as you will be attacked by a horde of desperate non-models. this is tricky, you need to walk in and find a hidden spot quickly – make sure you keep your eye's peeled for model types. once you have seen a likely subject move in quickly – always make sure you reject the advances of the non-model types.
3.negotiations – a lot of these girls will ask for a lot of money. be prepared for lots of negotiations. after establishing contact, take is easy – don't look too desperate or pushy. once she has invested a reasonable amount of time with you start negotiating. if the ktv has a lot of high-rollers you may not be lucky.
4.enjoy yourself.

no massage places, saunas and escorts were included in my review. i am not an expert in these venue's and services so its best that others with more experience provide details.

Chunxiu Lu is the street where Seasons Park apartments are located. Going west on Gongti Beilu from the 3rd ring road towards the 2nd ring road, you will be turning right off Gongti Beilu heading north onto Chunxiu Beilu.Seasons park being the place I have recently noticed with a sign that says "pattaya spa." Anyone any ideas?? Would hate to think Ive been living so close to Walking street all this time.

I lived in Seasons Park for 18 months, and went to Pattaya maybe 2 or 3 times a month. Totally legit, but man, what a nice place, and what good masseuses. (not looks, but technique) One floor is thai masseuses, the other floor is chinese.

I'd recommend, and I can't say that there is NO possibility there, at least with the thai ladies. Really swanky surroundings, and you walk out of there refreshed and aromatherapied and ready to go out and get laid. Only nicer spa I've ever gone to was the Spa at the Penninsula in Bangkok - an experience everyone should try to do once in their lives. You take a boat across the river from the hotel to a standalone building. My massage room was bigger than most houses in Japan, just immense. The girls travel in small groups, sharing apartments/rooms/sometimes one bed. And the groups interact. If you treat one poorly, you're marked. Be nice, or at least fair if you want continued access. If you are really nice, she will prefer to stay the morning with you, instead of piling back into the communal sheets.

The best are available by "arrangement" usually arranged by girls who work occasionally in Diamond Age and other places but spend more time as "mamas". Their rates are very high by the standards of most guys who post here.

I suspect that there has been a fundamental swing in the Beijing scene where the top quality has gravitated awy from foreigners to more domestic targets. I have been in and out of BJ since 1999 and have seen a tremendous downswing in the quality of girls that are available for the "laowei" trade. This includes nightspots , KTV's and saunas. (Lets forget about the BBS !)

Alex has hit it right on the nail that high quality now expects rates that are above the standards of the guys who post here. There are enough rich Chinese men now that offer girls both financial and long term security which may not be available from a foreigner. You see more and more Chinese men out with girls that are obviously not their wives and you find them where the Chinese go not the foreigners. Places like Maggies, The Den , The Pig, etc are now minor league parks. The pros are elsewhere.

On my last trip I was squired around by some rich Chinese - I mean "rich " - and they took me places which were head and shoulders above the normal foreign joints. As I was always in a car I was uncertain of directions but know that a few were in the area North and West of Andingmen gate -Deshengmen District and Rendinghu and Luyin Parks. One restaurant/nightclub actually had native French maitre dees, wine stewards and all spoke fluent Manadarin. I saw some non Chinese but all were guests.

There is also a very active bar scene around Houhai lake which is mostly Chinese and has some nice places. Foreigners are welcomed but it is basically Chinese orientated If your language skills are up to it there are opportunities for relationships . I did not see any obvious pros around but again I am looking at them based on laowei standards.

I was taken to one sauna which was huge but very discrete. it was near the Anding Hospital but is only marked in Chinese. There was a Domino's pizza nearby so some of you lao Beijingers may know it. You enter off the street into a private elevator which takes you to your floor. The suites are all self contained with steam bath /saunas, lounges ,massage table and bedrooms and the talent there was un believeable. Two young things in bikiniis look after the bathing part and then your dream girl comes in when you are nice and clean. I did not have an opportunity to choose but my "Meiling" was gorgeous and chosen for me by my friend.

The young lady I had was a student at Beida, from near Dalian. She was studying economics, wanted to be a banker and and spoke fluent English. She told me that the only way a foreigner gets in is with a Chinese member as it is actually a club. No money changes hands in the club. Guests get statements mailed to them so I have no idea of costs. My Chinese friend dropped me off and told me to enjoy. I was there three hours and never saw a bill. A driver took me back to my hotel and that is when I saw the Domino's.

I tried to get the girl's cell phone but she would not give it out. She told me that she only worked there a few nights a month and made enough to support herself at school. She also told me that she suspects that a lot of her friends do the same but never talk about it. She said that she would like to go out with me as we have similar backgrounds but was afraid to as being seen with a foreigner could cause her problems with her employers. Although Beijing is a large town the actual night life scene is small and tight.

After this night it will be very difficult to go back to my normal haunts !!

I followed your directions and found the Chun Xiu Lu Sauna. In the day time, it is not clear unless you look up at the Chinese characters that this is a sauna. The service there is good and I like the cold and hot pools too. I had number 866 from Harbin, Xiao Zhang. She had a good attitude and her tongue work was out of this world. Problem was that I fell asleep after the fun and woke up two hours later so they charged me for the room 90 per hour for three hours. I think Xiao Zhang was partly to blame for encouraging me to sleep a long time.

To get to that 200Y full service BBS, you should not follow the directions I gave in the last post which were mistaken. These are better directions but you have to walk, bike or drive. From the corner of Nan Li Shi Road and Fuxing Men Wai Avenue (Nan Li Shi subway station), go south two, not one blocks on Xi BianMen Road which is the souther extension of Nan Li Shi Road. Make sure you pass the Yunnan Wine store on your right. You will come to a street. Turn right at the second intersection and just keep walking about 800 meters or so. When you are almost where the street dead ends at a river, you will see two barber shops on the right right after a small grocery store. The second BBS is where I got FS for 200. However, I warn you that it is not the cleanest place in the world. The girls are cute and will go out if you want. I live with a girlfriend so that is not an option for me.

Changing Situation in Beijing
I agree with your comment on things changing, but i am not sure if your comment on the best looking birds gravitating from laowai's to Chinese is correct. If we only focus on very good looking model varieties i really have not noticed much difference in the last 8 years. However there have been massive changes elsewhere – back in 1998 the range, service and availability was no-where as good as it is now, due to the effective enforcement of the anti-prostitution laws. You could of safely walked around the Sheraton parking lot without ever being approached by a provider back in 2000. The only time you would regularly see SW on the street was in a dead of winter well away from any laowai hangout, otherwise they would be hidden away.
But back to the topic, where are all the good looking birds. This is answered by simply dynamics, as this type of behaviour is definitely illegal, and the police do make it very hard for any Chinese citizen caught doing this type of activity, either providing or accepting, the risk profile forces certain behaviour. Thus if you look at the type of good lookers, either fully professional Gucci-set or the part-time students wanting some extra cash, the typical way of doing business is focused on reducing risk and increasing profit, in that order.
For a good looking part-time student the objective is probably to find a rich sugar-daddy, get a network of regular wealthy and friendly customers, or to work very infrequently in a low-risk environment, which would probably be a sauna or massage establishment – or to use the web. They would avoid being seen entering a hotel after 11pm with a strange man and they would be totally terrified of being registered in a hotel.
For the professional Gucci-set, its more likely to be high-class KTV's catering to laowai's who are prepared to pay a lot of cash – such as business men, Japanese, Koreans and Taiwanese. (Guys from HK and to a lesser extend Singapore tend to be cheap, so they normally avoid them) I have often been provided interesting racial profiles from various girls, such as French guys expect the girls to pay them, Germans never tip, American Caucasians in a business suit pay well and are polite, etc. These profiling tends to differ based on the experiences of the girl. But even though these girls are professional hunters, even these girls like a regular sugar daddy or customers of some sort.
So the good looking ones quickly get into some form of semi-permanent relationship, or get a network of private customers, which means they do not need to work the streets and bars, or don't work the streets and bars very often.

What does this mean to the poor laowai looking for a bonk from a good looking bird. My advise is as follows (and i admit this advise is something i have only devised in the last few days – so i am sure its not complete)
* Internet - friend finder, or some equivalent. This takes a lot of time and effort and you get a lot of duds, but as long as you are not a complete wanker you should be able to find a few nice girls and get their contact details.
* High Class KTV's – Use this to get your network going, but be prepared to pay big bucks up front.
* If you are good looking and preferably speak mandarin, hang out around the disco's where students go.

Do not do the following;
* Hang around schools or universities – the authorities take a dim view of this type of predatory behaviour.
* Go to a BBS at Lido – or any BBS.

You could be lucky at;
* A expensive hotel bar, but this is definitely not a sure thing

I am not normally a model-type hunter in Beijing, last time i tried this was back in 1999-2004. I normally target good attitudes rather than exceptional looks in this city. However i do target model-types in Bangkok and have a reasonably good track record – but i know my Bangkok strategies would not work in this city, because of the different dynamics (However i can testify it is not easy finding a model-type in Bangkok and takes a long time). However once my current Russian gf goes back to vladivostok i will give it another go.
