It's true about the park, where the old skanks hang out. I have yet to see any SW or be approached inside the park itself, albeit, I've not been to the park past midnight. Others please comment if you've had different experiences.
Location:
The majority of girls will be located along on "shifulu" or the adjoining streets or alleyways. To orient yourself, stand in the park and place the lake gazebo at your back and the Holiday Inn Express on your left. You'll be facing due south (not that it means much since they can't build a straight road here to save their lives). On your right across the street will be a Family Mart and 7-11. This is the beginning of "shifulu". It is a one way street heading away from the park and intersects with "gongyuanlu". The girls will be standing or sitting on scooters. Also check the first alley on your left as you walk down "shifulu".
Cost: 1k. However you may be asked to pay 1. 5 or 2k by the girls who cite the foreigner size tax. If the girl has her own room in one of the buildings nearby there are no other fees. But if she rents a room expect to pay an additional 200 for the room rent to the landlord.
Experience: For a quickie you could do worse, but I haven't found that "worse" place yet. The girls are very old and are reluctant to do anything past missionary. And you can park the car easy in the corner of DaYa Road and JinHua Road. I added 2 pictures of the sign out side and the name card, you can download the name card and show to any taxi driver and be carful, I talked to the guys working there, if you will not show the taxi driver the VIP 2500 NT$ than you might pay up to 4000 NT$

Do some, it should be on the forum. It's in jhong ming Road. Close to et mart. If you are on the same side of rt mart, it is ta run fa supermarket. You need to drive pass the mart about 100m and it will be on your right hand side. It's next to a small car shop and a pub call again 2. There will be a grey steel door and you just walk in. My last few visits to Taichung found it vey difficult to find any places without doing any research beforehand so I thought I'd do it different this time.
I will be there for a few days next week and was wondering if there are any walk up places for a foreigner who can't speak any Chinese at all.
Found one place a few years ago but all I remember is that its in the same road as the Landis hotel. Too long to just wander around without direction.

There should be an establishment on that side of the road within 4/500 mtrs from the junction.
Should be on a corner and the lobby is big and once you see through you understand it is a sauna.
This is what I recall, but I was taken there by car from a restaurant and only when returning to Landis I felt it was quite close and at reach.
Hope my memory is still valid.
Trouble is there is no easy name to remember, no sign if not in Chinese.

Thanks to the reports, I was able to find this place easily. Giant Nokia sign at a big Cell phone building and a tattoo parlor. If you can't read Chinese (as I can't) don't fret as the yellow sign outside the building has their website with the word "tattoo". It's right next door to the left.
I just got back from there. I stood outside finishing my cigarette and he comes out asking if I was coming in. I said yes and he told me I could finish inside. I walk in and he asks me something is Taiwanese. I speak a little so I told him my Taiwanese wasn't that good in mandarin. He asks me if I have been there before and I say yes. Then he asks how much I paid the last time and I tell him 2000 something and he said it was 2500, 1000 to the door guy and 1500 to the girl. He escorts me up the stairs to a room and about a minute later, a skinny girl in what seems like her mid 30's walks in. She was really skinny but I kinda like them that way so I was fine with it. Call up a number advertising a spa or oil massage. The place is around Jing Cheng Road. Arrive there around 6. 30pm, call the number and the girl tell me how to walk to the place. By looking at the google map, it shows the distance between Evergreen hotel and Golden Paris is about 3km. It should not cost you more than 150 NTD by taking the taxis. Just tell the driver to take you to the intersection between DaYa Road and JinHua North Road. Then you follow the description from the ISG, it should get you there. It is a brown-color building. Hope this would help.

Golden Paris was VERY easy to find, exactly like the directions. I just stood outside and looked lost and within 30 seconds the guy came out to get me. Make sure you tell him 1500/1000 or he may try to charge you extra.

It was a little hard to find at first. I circled around the area for about 20 min. Some of the stores were closed and as I couldn't read Chinese, I didn't know which store was the second car store. Finally somoene came out to direct me.

The place has no English name.

i've been to the site, i've seen the ads, and i've made some calls. some of them seem like the girl's working alone, sometimes in small groups of around 3, and other times it feels like a company. from what i've gathered, you need to make an appointment 1-2 hours beforehand. then you go to where they're located and they'll put you in a nice apartment room where the service will take place. prices seemed to vary. some were quoting 1200-1500 for 2 hours. some gave me 1700 for one hour.

It's election season, from local mayoral to presidential race, establishments such as HT tend to raise controversies, therefore might as well shout it down temporarily, at least until the dust settles. Most of the ads are from actual massage parlors, so the pictures are just eye candy and do not reflect the quality of the girls they have. As with all things of this matter, it's luck of the draw. A few ads are from freelancers, and they'll explicitly say in their ads that the pictures are of them.
As far as prices go, it's pretty much the same across the board: 800 for a regular massage. 1800 for HS. 2800 for FS. Almost all of them will do HS. A select few only do regular massages. And for the most part, FS is at the discretion of the girls.
Keywords to look for: &28107; &24052; &24341; &27969; (lin ba yin liu, lymphatic drainage) and &25490; &27602; (pai du, expel toxins). This basically means that they'll make you cum. So I decided to have a sense of adventure and took the plunge on discovering what Kijiji was all about. Hit up Emperor Asia recently. It's right where other's have placed it (see a link put earlier below). Google Maps doesn't show it but it's there and fairly obvious with the wood and dark glass front. Finally had a chance to go to the RT mart. Same service as usual. It took me a couple of minutes to find the place as I didn't know the unit number. I think I've found it. I went there tonight (but didn't go inside) and everything was closed and I saw a couple of guys walked out so I assumed that you would just open the door and walk in side. I've been scootering around the city and suburbs looking for a good massage parlour, however, to tell if the place does the half service it's starting to become obvious to me by looking at the shop front or the reception desk at the lobby. Many of you may have heard of Sifu road perpendicular to the Gonyuan road (Taichung park district). Did a little exploring last night and went to DaYa Road. 96-2 as posted by Junglist.

Usually what happens is the guy on the scooter will direct you to a shady hotel and say he'll bring you a girl from one of the many KTVs on Da Ya Road. You pay 500 at the front desk and go up to wait in a room. Then the girl comes and you pick and choose as usual.
The problem is that the girls take a long time to come, especially the 2nd. 3rd, and so on. Now granted, I've had good experiences where the girl was a solid 8. But I've also had a few experiences where the girl was pretty bad so I requested a change, and the subsequent girls took about 15-20 minutes to come. The pimp also gets impatient because he has to wait downstairs until you're done. In the end, I felt like he was deliberately making me wait so long for the girls so I would hurry up and pick one despite their quality being subpar. A little bit of a scam.

I was in Taichung last week, and I found the intersection of Han Kou and Shan Xi, but couldn't locate the spa. Can you describe the building? Or show me the location on Google Maps?
