I had a chance to go to CP earlier in the week. Actually, it was two short day trips; Friday and Saturday. Wanted to go Sunday but was forced to cancel...
Friday did a BBS girl and it was 150 RMB and SOP, so nothing really to add. She was a petite cutie from Hubei, and like many of the BBS girls in CP, could speak Cantonese pretty well, which helps me out greatly in terms of bargaining, joking around, etc. Ended the day trip with another fantastic time at the Virgin Sauna. Kind of pricy (560 RMB, one shot...anybody got more?), but it's a standarized, guaranteed-great experience.
Saturday came back to try the 30-RMB back-alley gals. I had to bug OAH several times for the directions because I forgot how to get there. Damn, I should have read my own post a few pages back! OAH, another reason I seemed confused regarding your directions is because there are actually TWO damn McDonalds within an equal distance!! After walking around confused for 5-10 minutes, I described the 30-RMB back alley to a the moto-taxi driver and he had no problem bringing me there.
The easiest, fool-proof way to get there is to tell a driver "Hua Tai Bin Guang" which is the Hua Tai Hotel. When you get there and see a McDonalds and a Rainbow Department Store then you are in the right area. Now the tricky part is to find the school running track in the back area behind the McDonalds. It actually took me another 15 minutes or so of careful searching before I finally found the area. Did three girls in about a 1.5 hour span which is pretty interesting because that technically means I would only need to spend 90 RMB (I tipped two of the girls who had a good attitude). The girls are decent, about 6-7. After chatting with them a bit, here is some additional info I found: the 30 RMB is price for 20 minutes or so of service although one gal was giving the standard "hurry up" line after about 5 minutes. You can get a BBBJ + FS for 50 RMB. Apparently, foreigners are no uncommon, so they won't be too shy about non-Asian mongers. They do try to charge white mongers 50-100 RMB for ST. Also, the most common foreigner mongers for them are blacks/Africans. They are usually not too enthusiastic about taking their "longer, thicker" penises but compensate themselves by charging a hard price of 150 RMB for all blacks/Africans. One girl was also describing her favorite foreigner in such loving detail, it was cute. I almost thought it was Cronin, but then she started talking about the guy having twin babies, and blonde hair/blue-eyed wife (pictures from the guy's wallet), and then I knew, well, she wasn't talking about our friend Cronin!
Overall, it was a great, relaxing time and I had no problems. I was just disappointed I couldn't complete my Sunday trip where I had a planned alley girl, then BBS, then Sauna, then disco freebie. There's always next weekend...

The problem is that at the border you must carry or wheel the bags though customs. I have carried as many a three bags. A large rolling suitcase, a lrge duffle that fits over the handle and an over-the-shoulder computer bag.
If you have too much luggage to do move by yourself then you can book a private limo from the HK airport all the way into the Dong Guan destination of choice. It costs 1200-1500 HKG. You bags will never leave the car.

Thanks to Jonnykon's report I was able to find this place. I also noted the address of the Hua Tai Hotel （华泰酒点） - actually its a "jiu dian" not a a bing guan. The English name is The Walter Hotel, and it just near the intersection of Changping da dao and Zhong yuan Lu, which becomes Nan pu Lu after it crosses Changping avenue.
Its very easy to get to from Huemei or Virgin hotel. From Huimei, go out the
main door, turn right and walk along the main road in the direction of virgin hotel. (Dont make a hard right and follow the smaller road between the two hotels).
Walk for about five minutes and you will come to Changping da dao. At this
stage you should be able to see the Macdonalds and Rainbow store that Jonny referred to on the other side, with Huatai hotel past Rainbow, looking to your right down Changping Da dao. Cross the street and you are there. You need to do a bit of walking around behind this area to locate the small streets. I passed a small market and an empty swimming pool and then I was in the area.
The opening price I got was 100 for a nice Hunan girl, but managed to get this down to 30 after a little bit of bargaining; and only after the boss told the girl that since I spoke Chinese I didn’t have to pay the foreigners price. They banged on the door after about 15 mins. I expect it would be difficult but not impossible without any Chinese.

I have to say, the private limo from the HK airport direct to my hotel in Dongguan or Houjie sounds really, really good. And those prices -- less than us $200 for 3-4 hours including a border crossing -- don't sound bad at all.
Unless, of course, you think of it in terms of how many short-times it would buy.
Still . . .
Anybody got any idea how to research the actual cost and/or book the car? Or is booking the car something you do at the airport?

Just went to the East Ocean Hotel in DG, nice rooms and a great line up. They have four rooms with automatic beds that does a variety of things. They were very busy last week due to the shut down of amazon and century.
So, at the end of my Asia trip, I decided to go out with a bang in ShenZhen.
Pulled in late night, and just crashed for the night (too tired from flight and 3 sessions per day in the previous 10 days or so in Philippines).
Got in touch with OAH the next day and we did ShaTsui (see report in SZ section).
Then the following day (my last full day), OAH drove me to CP. We hooked up with BillLee and another monger there and we had a great time.
First, OAH took us to see the 30 RMB catacomb girls. Now, there was only one girl I would do there - a nice looking girl with a great set of tits...OAH and Bill - you guys remember the one who walked up to me and bumped me in the chest with her tits?
Then it was off to the houses - this is the area near YaLan hotel. What a place. The set up reminds me of southern Thailand (specifically - HatYai). Booking the car is done at the airpost. Try the A-1 counter. Some friends of mine took it back in October and it was 1500HKD to anywhere in Dongguan.
Alternatively, you can take a minivan limo. That will cost 150HKD but will take you only to the border. There, you can take another minivan at a booth they have right in front of the immigration building. I never took that route so I'm not sure how much it would be, but I'm sure it's much less than 1500HKD.
A third possibility is to take the same minivan limo and tell them you want to go to Dongguan. The minivan will take you to the border. Once you cross it, you get on bus that will take you to a preset destination in Dongguan. Near Houjie, it's the Haiyatt (that's not a typo) Hotel. If I remember correctly, this ride costs about 190-200HKD.
Finally, you can take the minivan to the border, and then catch a regular cab once you get there. A cab ride to Dongguan from Huanggang is about 200-300 depending on where and you're haggling ability.
For all these options, it might be wise to have your final destination written in Chinese. You can have any of the girls working at the Airport travel agent counters do that for you. Take my word for it, not a single soul you meet in China will understand you when you say "Sheraton Hotel" because to them it's "Xi Lai Dun Jiu Dian."

Also, is it safe to be around ChangPing streets? Many people tell be story of how people will get rob just walking on the street? Is that true?

After my world trip last year. I decided i would not travel much and concentrate on the local scene around Tangxia. I am over 50, retired effectively and with no immediate ties.
At first, I tried Sha Tsui, CP, BBS etc etc but eventually decided to set up an apartment in Tangxia. The reason is there are 12 golf courses nearby and it seems to be a little more space especially at the edge of town. And if I want to explore, say, Dongguan, Houjie, and Changping, would it be a good idea to get a driver? Are there trustworthy drivers as there are in Phnom Penh and a few other places? (I have a driver full-time in Phnom Penh and it's great -- don't have to worry about rain or heat, can carry a compute and/or camera without having to worry about them, etc.)
But maybe things are very different in China.

I have never taken one to DG, but I think they drop you off at a central location in Dongguan City. I sent you a PM of a phone number for a private limo. I have used him before from HKIA to Shenzhen for 700 HK$.
I would not trust any other driver than one I found attached to a reputable hotel and they are expensive. You can take taxis or private cars between the cities, but I would not leave anything in the car unattended too long unless you know the guy pretty well.

Interesting! How very similar to my situation/ Except that I do do quite bit of travelling around - half on biz half for pleasure that I do not spend all my time with my little one.
Here's a couple tips for you - things I've done:
1. I had her bring her mother down and set them up in a little place nearby. Her mother is one of those old fashioned Mommas who thinks that her daughter works as a roving cosmetic sales girl - thus her absences from 'home' when she's with me. Momma keeps her on a tight reign for me plus she's not bored when I'm not around!
2. I give my girl about the same amount but I insist that she open up a separate savings account where she MUST deposit at least RMB3,500 a month as her eventual "pension money." She is not allowed to do any withdrawals all the time she's with me (altho the bank account is in her name) or else I will cut her allowance thereinafter. I told her that when we do part (and I told her that part we must do sooner or later as I'm just too much older for her) that this is the amount of money she will already have. I explained that it would be stupid to talk about any separation fees (which BTW is a VERY common expectation with PRC gals) as by then, whatever goodwill there WAS in our relationship must have already gone away, and thus any such talk would be worthless to her. (Ps. this is of course half way to make sure that I do not get involved in any rancour or dispute when we do part. A hassle I've had to face in the past - Hoppe hope!)
3. Yes keep her away from golf - its just tooooo expensive compared to our total 'outlay' for them. I figure its at least RMB500 - 1,000 each time and if I take her each time I play, it would add at least RMB4-6,000 to my monthly outlay on her. I'd rather once a while give her a few hundred RMB to go shopping etc.

I have been travelling in Guangdong province frenquently, but Changping is my first visit. I travelled alone from Guangzhou to Changping by train on 13 December, less than an hour journey, very convenient and safe. At CP train station, I refused to take taxi because all driver refused to use meter and asked RMB20. I took the bike ride for RMB5 to Huimei Hotel (4 stars). I straight walked in the hotel without prereservation. I stayed two nights in Huimei's deluxe room on 8th floor with one queen size and one twin size beds, cost RMB305 per night with complimentary breakfast for two. I loved the roomy room with very comfortable atmosphere, of course the longbath for me and her.
Maybe I am a Malaysian Chinese, I can speak very fluent Manderin and Cantonese, I walked alone along all streets near Huimei area, day and night safe and peace. According to the taxi driver whom I met infront of the hotel, the KTVs were closed down for several days. He asked for RMB30 to drive me around CP area. I agreed.
My two night in CP was wonderful. First night 9pm walked along Zhong Yuan Lu, met mami and guide to back lane. Greeted by 15 girls in a house. Mami demanded RMB200 ST and RMB400 LT. At the end I enjoyed 3P with two little cuties from Yunnan, Xiao Yan and Xiao Mei and finally paid RMB350 each for LT . Second night in YaLan bar, only 10 girls to select and paid RMB400 LT for a 18 years old Yunnan's girl, Xiao Hua.

At the big major hotels, like New Century and Huimei, they offer free shuttle bus to and from the train station. If you are arriving, you have to call them at the train station. Communication with the receptionist in English/Chinese for the shuttle at the train station was a problem for me. I didn't take it but I did use it going to the train station. For you it's not a problem since you speak very fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.

i finally tried a girl in the catacombs of cp. first, i asked 7-8 of the girls in the area about bj, but all refused. i even went into a couple of rooms with them to see if the story would change behind closed doors. nada.

sauna is closed or no longer offer special service , small town like chang an and zhangmutou almost all sauna with serice is been closed for over 3 week
for remodeling as they said don't know when they will be open again .
changping and houjie is still the most reliable place in dongguan even with the

Most importantly treat the girls well. And if you are satisfied tip the girl directly. Tip only 20-50rmb. There are exceptions. You are right. I did bargain with the mami in Yalan on a crackdown Wednesday quite night at 9pm. All house have set at RMB200 for ST and RMB400 for LT. I called Yalan's mami last night, she confirm that the crackdown still on but ST and LT still available at the same price.
About the mami at Huimei area, I never trust her word. She will treat you as a fool and only serve 'fast food' for this price. Especially on crackdown days, avoid to get your girls on the street. Be safe.
ALWAYS REMEMBER...KEEP IN MIND.....dont pay upfront in full. Leave yourself a chance to hold back your money if you disappointed. You are right. I did bargain with the mami in Yalan on a crackdown Wednesday quite night at 9pm. All house have set at RMB200 for ST and RMB400 for LT. I called Yalan's mami last night, she confirm that the crackdown still on but ST and LT still available at the same price.
About the mami at Huimei area, I never trust her word. She will treat you as a fool and only serve 'fast food' for this price. Especially on crackdown days, avoid to get your girls on the street. Be safe.
ALWAYS REMEMBER...KEEP IN MIND.....dont pay upfront in full. Leave yourself a chance to hold back your money if you disappointed. Till the worst side, just call hotel front desk manager ( in Huimei Hotel call Mr. Listen Lee, front desk manager ) to your room and let him help you settle your problem.

Also, is it safe to be around ChangPing streets? Many people tell be story of how people will get rob just walking on the street? Is that true?

It looks like in Changping the major KTV and sauna are closed or are afraid of risky business. Second, majority of the girls go home for New Year. This cause a BIG drop of girls around. Third, it's cold and the girls cover up. You can't see their bodies ( well at least their figure ).
New Year's celebration is about 2-3 weeks long. Some stores will even close for 2-3 weeks during this time. For everything returning back to normal, about 5-6 weeks after New Year is a safe bet. It seems like I'm write the same thing over and over and I'm NOT an expert. I ONLY go there (S. China ) maybe once a year for a few weeks. If you read pass reports, you could have figure most things out. After you guys ( Paxsie, Leungj and anyone else ) are there in January, please post a report.

I have never taken up on the offer of mamasan on the streets. Not sure why. But probably because not sure about service. The girls could give poor service and you may not do anything about it. Where as at the house you can go back to mamasan and they try to make it up to you. Normally by telling the next girl you get to give you better service. From my experience, it is important to befriend the mamasan. They are the gurdian for the girls of sorts. Its nice when mamasan tells the girls to "take good care of lao ban", "dont rush, stay longer with lao ban", "do what lao ban tells you". In this case lao ban = you!. And when mamasan tells the girls this in front of you it gives you alot more leverage with the girl, from my experience.
As far as pricing last I checked of more than 10 houses around the yalan area, I only encountered two houses that insisted on 200rmb. I refused to give 200rmb to those two houses. Found 150rmb at the other houses, no problem. As I've said before, you're best bet for 150rmb is to go to the house yourself and see mamasan/papasan directly. They will take 150rmb, I am pretty sure. Make them understand this is what you will pay.They will spin stories on how this and that and give excuses why it is 200rmb. Basically selling you on 200rmb. Not true! It's just to get you to pay 200rmb. I am sure there are mongers willing to pay 200rmb. But as soon as more agree to it, they win. And we lose. So do what you feel its right. For me, I did find an 8 that I really wanted at the 200rmb house. Hard to say no for an extra 50rmb(a starbucks latte) with a hot girl. But on principle, I refused. There are girls a plenty here. You'll find someone else. If you want a good time. Better treat the girl nice and tell her you'll tip her if she performs well. I believe in paying my provider not the agent.

18+ everything is sweet??!! Errrr..... manonsanboy.... hate to break this to you... but its NOT! Fact is, any illicit (not married) relationship in China remains Illegal. I thought that I had better make this point clear as there are a lot of us mongers out there in China and I would hate for any one fo us to think that ' everything is sweet." Of course in practically all cases, nobody will bother you but the time that somebody does want to make problems for you (i.e. strike hard campaigns/want to blackmail you/are jealous of you/probem with you etc) they do have the powers to bring the authorities to bear down on you.
In 'strike hard' campaigns - which usually happens prior to major holidays/festival, authorities do moral clean-up campaigns by raiding hotel rooms for girls with their customers - with the girl usually ending up in jail for 6-24 months whilst the customers in most cases getting fined heftly.
Its of course much 'safer' in your own apartment - but even then, there is a lot of danger (what if your driver turns against you?). In any case I would definitely NOT go and stay in a hotel with your gal (you were going to Shanghai with her?).

My statement is according to what I saw and What I listened. The guy from New Centry Hotel told me that Crown Royal Hotel's Sauna and KTV is in business, also said that every CP's hotel Sauna and KTV are closed. I also rechecked in Crown Prince hotel, they said the crackdown is only in ChangPing.
Anyway, I will recheck in Dongguan this Saturday. Please understanda that I can not check every single town in Dongguan about the crackdown
I spent three nights at the Dongcheng International Hotel last week. It is a very nice 5* hotel with an accomodating Sauna staff. The first night I was there, I went to the Sauna at 8PM, when it opens and was met by a group of girls all dress as if they were going to a prom. As soon as I opened my mouth and they understood I only spoke english, I was directed to one of the girls who could get by. I told them that I wanted a full service massage and I would like to have the girl come to my room at the hotel. No problem. I was taken to one of the sauna rooms which was very clean nice. The staff brought me two girls which were very nice. I chose one and was led out to the room to the reception area where I paid for the affair. RMB 500 + 180 for the room. (You pay for the room, even if you don't use it)
I was told that the girl would be to my room in 5 minutes. I almost did not get back before the knock on the door. Very nice session, BBBJ with all of the hot, cold, etc. Energetic in bed, but without kissing. I hate that. But even with offers of a tip, she would not agree.
Two nights later, I called the Sauna and asked for a FS massage in my room. No problem. In about 5 minutes, the manager of the Sauna knocked on the door and introduced herself. She wanted the money and called for a girl. In about another 5 minutes, two girls came in and I selected one. (Very supprised they would bring a selection of girls into the hotel section) Good selection. Same as the first, but without the restriction on kissing.

You are of course very correct. I just wanted to make sure that those of you who mongers in China is NOT under the wrong impression that its 100% OK just so long as the gal is 'of age'. Fact is, like you said, its definitely not OK - but that the chance of running into 'complications' is quite low. EXCEPT if you run into the wrong people/situation/time - then its a sure thing that one gets into trouble in China as the laws are there and gets used easily by opportunists. Like you, I've been doing biz in China since 1985.

I checked in Crown Royal Hotel, rate= R 550 (booked throught elong.com)Thrusday Night.. After visiting a Taiwanese company, I had dinner alone in the hotel's japanese restaurant.. all you can eat (a la carte) only R 138+s/c.
Checked the sauna, but only normal massage. Then I went to the Opera house, took the cheapest room (with window to the stage) abour R 200&. The girls quality was just so-so (comparing with last early December) I took 2 girls, nice singers and funny girls.. As I do not speak chinese, the manager (Neil) was with me almost all the time (he speak acceptable english), Finally, I brought one girl (sort time R500) and paid 1003 to the Opera house. (1003=room 2?0+girl 2x200+6 Beer + chinese food). The girls charge is Dongguan's standar (200/500/800)

I'm back from another sucessful stay at the Crown Prince in Dongguan. I'll make this as detailed as I can regarding the situation there. As many know, I stay at the Crown Prince at least 30 days a year in China and I'm a VIP member. But anyways, on to the good stuff:
General: The Crown Prince is a 5 star hotel as judged by international standards. The normal rooms are classified as superior or delux, and have the option of the "garden" side or the "street" side. Pricing on the rooms vary from 320 RMB - 650 RMB per night on average. The Crown Prince is definitely not for the budget conscious. There is a! 5 percent gratuity added to all services from room service, to the Full service Sauna. The staff is pretty well versed in English.
The hotel itself is fantastic. All the amenities you can wish for as a resort. A gigantic "vegas" style swimming pool with waterfall, to a man-made "rock-climbing" wall. The down side is that Huang Jiang looks like a war-zone. Literally there is nothing to do in Huang Jiang. There is a small McDonalds about a 5 minute drive away. There is also a small shopping mall about 5 minute drive away. They do not use Marked Taxi's here. So if you want a ride, you better contact the hotel concierge to use their car, or be prepared to negotiate a "private" car for a ride. A recent change only last year made it so that there are more "marked" taxis in nearby city Changping. But many owner operators still refuse to "turn on" the meter and rather negotiate the fee. Further, Huang Jiang near the Crown Prince is home to factories and very local small shops. If you leave the hotel and walk around, you are bound to attract stares. As it is not really a large town, I wouldn't recommend walking around outside the hotel very far at night, as there are many groups of people that seem, at least to me, to have a look of "desparation" about them.
Sauna:
The Sauna is FULL SERVE. There is zero likelihood that you will be harrassed by any LE here. They also have a lot of girls here. Age are usually 17-20, they do not hire anyone over 20 years old. Girls are medically inspected once a week. There are also a lot of girls here. As with all sauna's you have to choose the type of you you want. There are 3 brackets of rooms, superior, delux, and super-delux (my wording). The price range is 350; 450; 600ish. Girls also come in three price ranges 400; 500; 800. Most of the people who are not regulars or who do not know, are only offered the 350; 450 rooms and the 400; and 500 girls. The expensive room and the expensive girl go hand in hand.
Rooms: The standard room includes all the amenities that you would expect. There is a king size bed, a personal steam room, a separate bath, and shower, and a toilet. There is also a small sitting room as well. The price of the room includes 90 minutes with the girl.
The delux room also has a king size bed, steam room, bath, shower, toilet, but adds a few neat toys. They include a metal lounger that will be used for the "water" message; and also a gynocological chair for your sexual pleasure (you know the one with the stirrups). The price of the room includes 120 minutes with the girl.
The super delux room has all the amenities of the delux room, but with the macau flair. The bed is a circlular bed that spins around, with various message setting. There are mirrors everywhere including the ceiling for your viewing pleasure. Also, the super delux rooms have a glass viewing area for the girls. For me, this is the biggest bonus of the super-class rooms. As you sit down in the sitting room, there is an adjacent room, where the girls line up in groups of 4 for you to look at through a one-way mirror. The girls wear "special" see through nighties so you can examine them. They will introduce where they are from, and their age. You can tell them to turn, bend over, lift up their shirt, whatever for your viewing pleasure. Furthermore, only the super delux rooms have access to view the models (see below)
For the other rooms, they usually bring 2-3 girls at a time for you to choose. The crown prince should have close to 60-100 girls on any given night. With regards to the super delux rooms, you need special access. The manager brings you to the 2nd floor, where he must key in your entry. The other rooms are found from the basement to level 6 of the sauna. Really the sauna is like a hotel in its own right. IF you get a room after 12am, you are welcome to sleep in the sauna until the morning. The rooms are the same, if not better, than the ones in the actual hotel.
Service
With the class of women, as stated before the average is is 17-20; with no girls over 20. The majority of the women come from the Hunan, Szechuan, Hubei provinces. The pricing of the girls are based upon their physical measurements, as opposed to their facial "prettiness" The 400 RMB girls are a little more fat, or thin than the normal 500 RMB girls. These girls at least to me, are a step up from the BBS girls, but similar. The 500 RMB girls are the normal girls. There are a lot to choose from, but you will find they have bigger breasts than the 400 RMB girls, and a little more accomendating (ie less famer-like). The highest class of girls are the 'models' Models must be at least 5'6' (170cm) and slim. These girls are 800RMB and are only available for viewing if you have a super delux room. There are not many, usually between 6-20 depending on the time.
--In terms of service, you will find that the service is very much like macau. There will be hot-cold, cat baths, AR, tit massage, and FS in all positions. Special request such as anal can be accomplished through negotiations with the girl directly.
Observations/Hints
Having used the sauna quite a few times, here are a few suggestions I give to my fellow mongers. There are two shifts of girls. The girls either work from 12pm-9pm or 7-4am. Avoid if you can "hot periods" if possible. That is avoid 6-9pm, as there will be a rush of people using the sauna. Also, if you find that you particularly like a girl, remember her number, and as the customer service staff to "reserve" her for a period of time.
Credit cards is acceptable for the room, and the sauna room's fee can be added to your hotel room. As a hotel guest, you also receive a 10 percent discount for sauna room pricing.
KTV
The KTV as some have already stated is massive. Think of a roman collisium with the ktv rooms surrounding the outside, and the middle use for a show production. The shows at the Crown Prince are similar to any show you would see in Las Vegas for $50. 00. The show includes singing, funny skits, artistic play-motif, and acrobatics.
When you get a KTV room they come in 2 sizes. Small and Medium. The small rooms will accomendate up to 8-10 people nicely, the medium rooms will accomendate 12-20 people comfortably. There is a minimum charge for the use of the room. They are 600 and 800 RMB respectively. That is you must spend at least the minimum on alcohol, or snacks or you have to pay that amount anyways. If you by alchohol by the bottle, if you buy two bottles they give you one free. The KTV rooms are set up standard with the karoke machine inside, a large couch, and a few TVs. One for the karaoke, and the other one showing the production of the show outside. There is also a balcony that you can view the show live. There are approximately 3 large bar stools on each balcony.
After you get seated and situated. The Crown Prince can have anywhere from 300-800 girls on any given night. << I am lucky because my business partner is acquainted with the management, and I got to pick of the lot. Jesus, I had to pick from 500 girls in the changing/prep area. My god, I was in heaven! But I digress, it is not possible to get backthere with out knowing some insiders>> The girls are led by mommies usually in packs of 20, with about 8-12 for your viewing pleasure at any time. ALL girls are available for take out, as well as MULTIPLE girls. At the crown prince, you will often find men walking with 2-3 girls on their hip without a blink of an eye. The pricing structure for the girls is as follows. 200RMB, 500RMB, 800RMB. The first price is for the girl to sit with you all night in the Ktv room to play dice, sing, and otherwise keep you company. The 500RMB is for a one-shot short time. And the 800RMB is for all night. What you doon from there is your business.
Observations/Hints
For me the KTV is a lot more fun with a group of people. Singing with 5-10 girls is ok, but there is something to be said for male comradary. Usually if I am by myself I prefer the sauna, but the KTV is still an option. The prices are a little high for one person though, but if money is not an issue, KTV is superiour for the opportunity to see more girls. Also, the age range of the KTV is more widespread. They will be as young as 15yrs old to 21 years old. It will be rare that you will find many outside that age bracket. Also, if you are not satisfied with the girls shown to you, change MOMMIES! There are at least 20 mommies, leading packs of 20 girls at the Crown prince. If you reject a pack of girls brought by a mommy, they will try to keep your business by getting on the cell phone, and calling in one-four girls that are taking a break. They will not be able to get you a full new set of 20 to look at. Thus, if you don't see a girl to your liking in this batch, change mommies. The room attendent is useful for this endeavor.
Also, book reservations, and go early. The crown prince KTV rooms sell out almost every night. IF you have no reservations you are going to be SoL. Don't let the fact that you don't see tons of guests fool you. Lots of people come from HK every night. As Huang Jiang is not very far from HK at all. Go early, or all the best girls get taken. The KTV opens at 7pm. Usually, I arrive around 730 and get the best girls. The HK group comes in force around 8-9pm. The show starts nightly at 9: 15 and goes till about 11: 30 pm.
New Developments:
The Crown Prince has recently changed in its make-up of guests. Now a days you will find a LOT more children and families than before. Why? Well the Crown Prince was the backdrop for a chinese Hong Kong TVB play about the politics of a hotel. So as a result, the Crown Prince has may more deals with touring companies to use the hotel as part of vacations. This has been helpful to the hotel, as I mentioned, there is nothing to see in Huang Jiang. So this helps a beautiful hotel, keep its vacancy rates low. The Crown Prince offers free breakfast with every room. The breakfast buffet is delicious and big. But long gone are the days, when you would see the buffet with only older men and hot working girls from the night before. Having heard all the wonderful things about this paradise, I made my maiden sex pilgrimage to Dongguan a few days ago. The Dynasty is a decent looking four-star hotel. The sauna is located on the third floor. It seems to be quite big, and probably had 50 or more VIP rooms. As soon as I arrived the receptionist ushered me into one of the rooms, which was rather spacious and laid out much like a standard hotel guest room with a double bed in the middle (but without a writing desk). The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by transparent glass panels but it didn’t serve any real purpose.
A manager came to explain the fee structure: room rate is 168 yuan, and tips for the girl is 400 yuan. I was led to a room at the end of the corridor on the eighth floor. It was designed and laid out just like a standard hotel room. The manageress explained that the room charge was 268, and that tips for the girl would be 400 yuan. She then brought in four girls for me to choose from. Their quality was okay, generally in the 6-7 range, and I picked a Hunan girl who said she had just started for a couple of weeks.

All in all, it seemed to me that Dongguan city and Houjie were basically operating normally, as the two hotels were offering all the full services without any hints that the providers were nervous or even cautious. The police, when they had to carry out their duty, also did so in a civilized manner. There was absolutely no sign of a crackdown. Perhaps this was restricted to Changping?
Okay, there's the good news on the DongGuan ChangPing Crack down. I talked to 2 girl, and they both tell me that the crack down only affect the KTV and Sauna. The Hotel and BBS is safety. The reason for the crack down is there are 2 girl who got murder at a KTV with in 2 week. So, the DongGuan government has forced the ChangPing government to crack down on the KTV and sauna. After reading these very interesting reports about the Crown Prince Hotel, I decided to give it a look. The address in English is Jiangbei Road, Huangjiang, Dongguan. It is about 15m from Dongguan station and the Taxi should cost you about 35/40rmb. The Taxi driver tried to pass me a fake bill of 50 rmb This time I noticed that it was fake and asked him another one.
Once in the Sauna lobby if you are lucky will meet Toni who speaks some English. His business card says "costumer supervisor". Anyhow, he will offer a normal and special massage Once he is sure that you want the special massage will introduce the rates which are explain in some previous post. 300-400-600 for the different kind of rooms and 400-500-800 for the different kind of girls .

We did not end up staying in Crown Prince. We had got into Hui Hua International Hotel instead. It is next to Miranton and just round the corner of Virgin Hotel and right across of Walter Hotel. Ok. Enough Geography.
The first night, we went to the legendary Amazon, where we experience the infamous Flower Street. We were there early, about 7 pm on a Sunday, not much girls were around. So anyhow, the 8 of us managed to pick some girls that we want. Mostly 2 each, and a friend and myself got ourselves 1 each.

I've never heard of the Gladden hotel. The best hotel in the Changping (Southeast Dongguan) area is probably the Crown Prince Hotel in Huangjiang, AKA Taizi Jiudian. Huangjiang is about 5-10 minutes from Changping. Crowne Prince also has a pretty good sauna and a very good KTV with a show every night at around 9PM. Girl quality at the KTV would rate a B+, but probably among the top 2 or 3 in the area. The show however, is outstanding. It's like a poor man's Cirque du Soleil. The Japanese restaurant there isn't half bad either. Their website is www.crownprincehotel.com. If you do stay there, make sure to check out the lobby bathroom. It's a kick.
My preferred hotel in all of Dongguan is probably the Sheraton in Houjie. Houjie however, is almost an hour away from Changping. Don't forget, Dongguan is a big place and getting from one place to another is not necessarily a short hop in a cab.

This is nowhere near where you want to be. It is the town next to Dalingshan, nearly 2 hours from Changping. PM me if you want me to book the Miraton for you.
I don't like the Crowne Prince because it is isolated, but the show is pretty good as Moody said and worth a look. The KTV rooms have balconies overlooking the stage. Deal is 3-5-8.

Anyone know anything about the Gladden Hotel in LiaoBu? I'm trying to find a hotel (4 star or a really nice 3-star) in either Dongguan or Changping and am having no luck. The Miraton in Changping was recommended but they don't answer e-mails via their Web site.
I really appreciate any feedback and/or suggestions you all can make. You've already helped out a lot.
And I swear to file exhaustive trip reports.

A couple of years ago I used to stay at Earl's Court everytime I went to Huangjiang/Dongguang area. It's a couple miles down from the Crown Prince just past the toll booth. Immediately past the toll booth, turn left and go up this long drive and the place is quite spectacular - it's more like a resort (sex resort) and mostly visited by visiting Taiwanese and Hong Kong business people.
This place has really beautiful rooms, nice KTV where all girls are available and also quite stunning, a sauna where they only have individual rooms set up like hotel rooms and the girls specialize in BBBJ.
I remember the sauna was something like 350 all-in and the KTV girls were 500 for overnight.
Does this place still exist ?
Rising Sun - i'd agree with both moody and OAH. but it comes down to what you want to spent and what you want. the crowne is the higher cost route. i'd wouldnt suggest the sauna in CP for you. check your mesage box. have fun, remember to bring more condoms that you need.

Hi all, and thanks for getting me out of the Gladden.
I'm currently reserved at the Lai Shing Resport in, apparently, Changping Town. Can change it if the Miriton comes through or if one of you tells me it's actually out in the Gobi desert somewhere.

The last time I was there a couple of years ago, I paid 500 ST, but was offered 800 LT. The one I had was from Xinjiang and just average, far from being a model. I had never done Xinjiang before and wanted to try. Nothing to write home about as they say. I very rarely do LT anyway. I'd rather do another girl ST, etc.
I must admit that KTV is not my cup of tea. I have a terrible voice and cannot drink that much. I prefer to pick a girl and get right down to the action.

CP Day 1: Jan 6th. Arrived in CP in afternoon from SZ with friend. Took train from LuoHu. It was very convenient, only half hour since they skipped the Zhangmutou stop. Hi, everybody,
Wrote for help a month or so back and got lots of helpful replies but then my trip got called off. Now it's on again, set for early March, and I'm back knocking on your door again.
I’m a complete newbie in China, so what follows may be riddled with mistakes, but at least no one can say I didn’t RTFF. I’ve read so much of it it’s beginning to feel longer that War and Peace but more interesting, or at least interesting in a different way.
I’ll be in Changping from the 11th of March through the 21st. And I don’t know anything. So I went back 35 pages in this thread on the assumption that things change and it might be best to focus on more recent info, and I pulled the names of the places in Changping/Houjie/Dongguan City that people seemed to like best. I put three stars next to the ones that got the best, um, consumer reports.
What I’m hoping is that you experienced China hands will take a look at this list and tell me (a) what’s a must-do that I’ve missed completely, and (b) which of these places you’d avoid at all costs. I know I’ve probably got things misspelled, in the wrong towns, and otherwise screwed up, but remember that you were a newbie once, too, and be nice to me.
And I want to say thank you to all the posters who shared this information, and to the people who went to all the trouble to scan in business cards and maps, and write directions. I’ve printed out a bunch of them for taxi drivers and others who might help me on my way.
At the end of this list are a few questions. Anyone with answers and a generous heart can either post them here or PM me, and win my undying gratitude. And I’ll follow up this trip with detailed trip reports and, if I get the courage to pull out my Canon, pix.

QUESTIONS
Is it worth thinking about trying to go to Tanxia, and if so, how long would it take by car?
How does one get to the “Mama Streets” in Changping? Taxi to the Yalang Hotel and just walk around?
How does one get to the warehouses? Do drivers understand the English word “warehouse?”
In general, would I be better of sticking to high-end stuff and ignoring my taste for the more sordid venues – catacombs, etc.? I’ve been a newbie in a lot of places and have taken some really stupid chances, but so far all’s been well. Should I not press my luck in China? And if I do, will my lack of Chinese language skills, not to mention my big Caucasian face, make things too difficult?
If I do go to the catacombs and find a girl I like (“farm fresh,” as Cronin says), is there any possibility of negotiating LT and taking her to the hotel, or is this just a hopeless question?
So please – anything you’d share with a friend who was making his first trip – I’d really appreciate it. And thanks for all the help so far. This forum is a tremendous resource.

After taking care of some business in Shantou I decided to head back to my favorite place on earth CP.
Checked into HuiHua hotel again for 306rmb per night. This was around 2pm, so I called Zhu Zhu again for another BBBJCIM. This time I opted for only ST 200rmb. Felt kind of bored in the evening so I decided to check out the ktv at HuiHua. Since I was by myself today there was no use in opening a room, so I opted for the lounge. It’s called "da ting" in Chinese. I believe this is a good option if you don’t drink and all you are looking for is action. This option is available at Amazon as well. Is this option also available at New Century KTV? Or do you have to open a room to get lineups? Price is 50 or 80 rmb, I can’t remember, but they seat you in an open lounge. A mamasan asked me if I would like a lady to accompany me and I smiled and replied that I wouldn’t be here otherwise. Mama showed me one lineup that was very disappointing. She gave me some BS about how all the girls are taken and those are the only ones available. BS never give in to that line. Another mommy came with a second group of girls and I told mommy all of them are beautiful but just not my type. I got up and was ready to leave when I saw this young, tall, slender cutie. She was about to go into a room for a lineup. Fortunately for me she looked my way and I signaled her to come to me. She exchanged a few words with her mommy and came to my table. I got right down to business and asked her for LT 800, two shots, one at night, one in morning. She agreed and I signaled the attendant for the bill. Paid my 80rmb and straight to my room. This place is to the left of HuiMei as you face the main entrance of the hotel. We went to the second floor and the attendant told us it is 50rmb per hour for Thai massage. The masseuse at New Century told me this is a legit place so I wasn’t expecting Macau Darling 1 type Thai massage. Shower is 28rmb. I asked the masseuse why is a shower 28rmb when a massage in only 50rmb per hour. She informed me that with a shower option you can hang out in the lounge and watch TV or go use the steam room. Since my friend was antsy about going to mama street we opted for the shower and one hour massage. We’ll do the steam room and relaxing in lounge some other time.
I’m just spent physically from mongering so I didn’t want to pick unless I saw a 9 at mama street. Didn’t see any nor did I expect to see any so I left mama street empty handed while my friend found himself a nice Sichuan girl for LT.
CP day five: In the evening my friend and I decided to check out Crown Prince KTV. Cab fare from HuiHua to Huangjiang was 30rmb. We arrived around 8pm and took the cheapest room. I looked outside the balcony and complained about the crappy view of the show. Attendant informed us that the more center rooms were 690 rmb. Since this was supposed to be my last night I said what the heck and moved to the better room. I asked for the model lineup and was disappointed. They were definitely 160cm or taller but tall does not mean good looking. My friend didn’t see anyone to his liking so we asked for the regular ones. After four lineups my friend decided on his companion, but I still didn’t see anyone to my liking. An assistant manager came in and introduced herself. She asked us if we’ve been there before and I told her that this was my first time and from the lineup it might be my last. She told me that there were many more ladies to choose from but I said it’s ok, I’m a little tired anyways. I asked her why can’t any of the xiao jies look like her and she smiled. She then said she needed to take care of some stuff and will be back. I figured that’s her exit strategy but luckily she came back. One thing I hate about KTV’s are all those managers coming in and introducing themselves. It really annoys me when I’m having a good conversation and they interrupt me. I whispered a very high sum in her ear. I don’t want to say how much because I know all of you will chastise me for overpaying, but I really wanted her that night. She smiled and I figured it was a yes, so I held her hand off the HuiHua we went. My friend took care of the bill, which came out to 1500rmb, for 4 bottles of red wine, some food, tea, some 7up, 15% service charge, and show fee. I think they charged us 500rmb for the tea. They didn’t have that kind of tea in the KTV so they had to buy it from the restaurant, I was told. Next time I’ll skip the tea. Crown Prince KTV seams pricey, considering a previous posting said he spent only 1500 for 1 bottle of Chivas and 12 bottles of red wine.
I wanted to get my money’s worth that night so I put a lot of effort into it. In bed I whispered to her “ wo men jing tian wang shang bu si juo, si juo ai” which I think translates to “tonight, we are not fucking, we are making love”. I’m not sure if my putonghua is very accurate but I believe she got the message. Passionate lovemaking… good stuff. Good way to cap off CP.

Kind of pricey considering 250rmb is about the same price for a regular room upstairs. What if you wanted to use the steam room in the sauna rooms? Does that count in the 90min?
It would be nice if you can do a girl for 90min and then go in the steam room for a little while. I forgot to ask that when I was there.

To answer some of your questions:
Just get a taxi and ask for Yalan Jui Dian. Right when you get out of the taxi, I guarantee you will be approached by a mama right away. That's a guarantee. Some may take you to the area above the restaurant above Yalan, some will take you to mama street. Mama street is the area behind Yalan.
As for quality, from my limited experience I can only find "cute" in mama street. I'm very picky and it's hard to find. I have to go through several houses to find a cute one. In my humble opinion, for pretty, you have to go to saunas or KTV's.
I classify mama street as from ugly to cute and KTV's as ugly to cute to pretty. I hate to classify someone as ugly, since I see them get picked by others. Like they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but in my mind that's how I separate the quality available.

Do not expect ANYBODY outside of the hotels to speak ANY English. They won't understand what a "Coke" is let alone "warehouse." Try using the Chinese word, "Chang ku."
One small correction, the Jia Hua Hotel is is Houjie, not Dongguan City. It's less than 10 minutes from the Sheraton by car. To get to the sauna there, you just need to know someone. If you go to KTV there, ask one of the managers or mommies to arrange it for you. Same deal with Cinese.

The 90 min is for the service start after the shower with the girl , just tell the
mamasan you like to stay for an extra hr after to relax should be no problem ,
if you go there after mid night you can stay over night in hotel room for no
extra charge , i have done this many time 288 rmb for the room they even offer me room service meal for no extra charge , most sauna in cp offer this.

Yes, this was my first time to CP. Thanks to your posts as well as others in the forum, everything went pretty well and smooth. I even got my friend hooked. I walked into KTV’s, saunas, and mama street confident, knowing pretty much what the deal was. But I must admit that I did not negotiate for the 200rmb mama street girls. I saw 200rmb price thrown around in the forum and I thought that was the going price. I guess that’s why none of the girls asked me for taxi fare afterwards, unlike SZ. Will ask for 130rmb next time I’m there to make up the difference!
You are right, 1500rmb is too much for so called “model” quality, especially if the “model” part of the equation is particularly lacking. My friend’s girl at Crown Prince told me there are some really pretty ones, but they go very fast.
Reflecting back at my experience, next time I’m there I will consider the following:
1. Travel very light, light enough so that your stuff can fit into a locker. Laundry service is available in or outside the hotel.
2. Avoid going for LT right off the bat. Offer the girl ST with the possibility of LT so that they work for that extra 300rmb. I think this strategy may work better with KTV girls since by the time you are finished with round one it may be 1am or 2am. At that time KTV girls cannot go back to the KTV and get another customer whereas a mama street girl can go back for another customer. They may be more inclined to provide better service and get 800rmb instead of going home with 500rmb. Just a theory. What do you guys think?

4. Negotiate hard and in detail, but do it with finesse. I was very detailed and direct in negotiating with my first overnighter from Amazon. I saw that she had this “Screw you. What am I? A *****?” kind of face on her. I quickly apologized to her and explained that this was my first independent experience at a KTV. My other experiences in Shanghai were all paid and arranged for. I didn’t have to worry about price, quality, nor service. It took some joking around and teasing, and the tension disappeared and it was all good from there.

QUESTIONS

How does one get to the “Mama Streets” in Changping? Taxi to the Yalang Hotel and just walk around?
How does one get to the warehouses? Do drivers understand the English word “warehouse?”
In general, would I be better of sticking to high-end stuff and ignoring my taste for the more sordid venues – catacombs, etc.? I’ve been a newbie in a lot of places and have taken some really stupid chances, but so far all’s been well. Should I not press my luck in China? And if I do, will my lack of Chinese language skills, not to mention my big Caucasian face, make things too difficult?
If I do go to the catacombs and find a girl I like (“farm fresh,” as Cronin says), is there any possibility of negotiating LT and taking her to the hotel, or is this just a hopeless question?
So please – anything you’d share with a friend who was making his first trip – I’d really appreciate it. And thanks for all the help so far. This forum is a tremendous resource.

OAH, warehouses in CP are factories near MuLan Market, where there are thousands of BBS girls, without BBS facilities, for eat-in and take-out. Damage is about 150. Quality is about 5 to 6, but occasionally you find some 18 year old fresh from the country. My business connection usually spends 300 for 24 hours service. Not bad a deal.

I disagree. Rising Son is an experienced monger, albeit in other parts of the world. One does not need Chinese language skills to monger in China. He can get laid with hand signals, body language and a pen or mobile phone to input the key numbers. I would not want him to miss all the action in CP. I got along just fine when I first arrived in China, including CP, and did not speak a word of Chinese.

Dont miss your chance to explore yourself in CP. I am highly recommend you visit CP instead of HK/Macau/Shenzhen. Although language is a barrier, not a serious issue for com***ication. Just begin your first day adventure from sauna, ktv or health centre (but higher in price) nearby your hotel, for sure you will feel much more comfortable and confident. Girls in CP are polite and friendly if you treat them as GF. Tell the mami in ktv your requirement of girl can speak some English, you will find a tour guide in hand. Be in mind that try to gather some information from this forum, especially the costs. You may face overcharge because of foreigner and language. For you safety, I personally not suggest you visit mama street or Mulan market. Try Yalan Bar and find mami, Xiao Hui, maybe she can help.
When will you arrive CP? I will visit CP at the end of February. If there is a chance for us to meet, let me buy you a dinner. Just note your itinerary in this forum, other fellow members may accompany you.

I also disagree. As long as you know where to go, you can easily make yourself understood. If you need numbers, just punch 'em out on your cell phone. For particular services, unless you want something really unusual, it's pretty simple. You can use gestures or learn a couple words in Chinese. China is an exciting place. There's always something to do, especially if you're there solely on holiday. My recommendation is to just stick to places like saunas, KTV, and BBSs. Pricing structure at most of those places are pretty much set and there should be minimal haggling involved. If you get ripped off by 50 yuan at a BBSs while on vacation, I think you can afford it, when all is said and done, it's only $6.
As for finding a working girl who can speak English... that's like finding a needle in a haystack. If a mama says her girl can speak English, she'll know how to say "I love you," and "Britney Spears," both in broken English, and that's about it. You can try to hook up with a translator, which was I used to do before I could speak any Mandarin. When I get back to China, I'll ask some people to get me the number for one. The guy I used to use a few years back went back to his home town so he's gone for now.
BTW, Dongguan is not a small place. I believe it has a population of something like 7 million, which would make it either the 3rd or 4th largest city in the US. Shenzhen is a little larger with a population of about 8 million or so.

I hope you are NOT going to publish your monger findings in any newspaper, magazine or book. Too much publicity brings Law Enforcement around. I don’t want my/our hobby going away soon nor do I want it to be like Thailand. Thailand has too many short term vacationing tourist mongers and has a high case of STD. Please pactice safe sex. Sorry that's what I believe in. Unlike Thailand, most China's WHITE foreigner mongers are highly educated people. There are mainly in China to work and to do business. Some stay for long periods of time in China. Some other monger said the same thing comparing Thailand and China.
My advice and opinion, about traveling around China without knowing any Chinese will be will be VERY VERY difficult and a little dangerous but not impossible. I guarantee they ( pimps, mamasans, girls, taxis ) will try to over change, get as much as possible with any foreigner ( ie Chinese Descent ) but especially white foreigners. On the other hand, hotels, and restaurants are the exceptions. Hotels and restaurants want your business and treat foreigners very well. Most will go over board to help foreigners. Yes, com***ication will be a problem but the hotels, restaurants and others will give every effort to help you.
Since you are reading the forum, great, you will know what prices to expect. As a result, there is a less change of something bad happening like being over charged.

This trip is pretty much all about mongering. I have something to I have to write, so I figure I'll get up around ten, eat, work out in the gym (the Miraton's website says they have one) and then write until about three. Then I'll go chase whatever mongering is available: Mama Street, saunas, KTVs, bbs -- whatever is there.
If I decide to go to Houjie I'll take a cab and leave my stuff in the hotel.
I've been to Hong Kong a bunch of times and I think the mongering scene there is overpriced and not so great, although it's been a few years since I was there and it may have changed. What I really want from this trip is a different environment and a whole bunch of girls. And then some more girls.
I get to Changping on the 11th of March, check into the Miraton. and leave for SE Asia on March 21st. I REALLY hope someone can meet me somewhere and let me pick up the tab for an evening. I know what it's like to be a newbie, and help is always appreciated. Although it's also fun to try to figure out what the hell is going on. Hoping that this turns into a part of the world I can spend a few months in each year.

If you have been reading the Shanghai and General Info Thread, some mongers are planning to have a get together at a KTV. From what I have been reading, it sounds almost like a KTV ORGY party. They are planning to use their newly learned Chinese Phases (acronym ) on the girls. Cronin actually booked the Miraton for you. I was only the messenger.
I use the Yalan for short time at 100 RMB for 3 hours due to its close proximity to the mamas, however, I am sure you will enjoy the Miraton more. It is nearly new and the rooms are very nice IMHO.
I hope we can get Cronin to bargain as hard with the girls as he does with the hotels. He has been known to pay too much because of his soft heart and the pictures he gets.

Agree with Weelock, esp. You are a non-Chinese, people will try to rip you off. I have experience shopping with my white co-workers (I am asian and speak couple of dialects) to buy fake stuff. Though I was translating and helping out, they even offered me a much lower price if I wanna buy it compare the them.
The best is know couple of good contacts at the local site; that will even help out better and not rip you off. Else, second best is to have someone who speak and read the language. Bargaining is an art. I am not that good in that. But I still do.
Have a fun and great trip; hope you are resting and reserving all your energy. Cause you need to that in March when you are there. Wish I am heading out there to Dongguan for a weekend for a business trip. But, who knows. Be safe now and come back in one piece to write your adventure tales.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this so I will just as an FYI. Changping, although probably the most accessible of destinations in Dongguan, does not have the best lookers in the city. Even at the Crowne Prince Hotel KTV, I would rate the girls there no more than a B. The best lookers in the city are probably in Houjie at either Cinese or the Sheraton. I would rate girls at both places a A-. I haven't checked out the Jia Hua in a while, but from my recollection, Jia Hua girl quality was similar to Crowne Prince.
Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what I may find to be a stunner may not really catch your eye and vice versa. However, going by general concensus of Asian beauty, most would say Houjie gets the prettiest girls in Dongguan. There is something of a survival of the fittest deal working in Dongguan, where the prettiest girls eventually end up in a couple of places, and not coincidentally, these places tend to be the most expensive.

A few months ago when I was in Hong Kong two local colleagues mentioned they would go to China for some KTV play if I wanted to come along. Well obviously I was up to it so we set out on a Saturday afternoon to Shenzhen and then for a bus ride.
I don’t actually know where the hell we went however I did see we passed Dongquan so I think not far from there.
The place we ended up was Sun City hotel on Qunxing Rd Xintang.
It is a pretty large and impressive KTV and Hotel next door.
One of my colleagues had been there before and had the mobile of a mami. Don’t call her that though as this is a pretty upscale place and she likes her title of “Assistant Theatre DJ”
We were led to a fairly large room. Then the line-ups began.
I think we were there about 9pm. Perhaps the best talent was taken. We went through three or four line ups of about 8 girls each. I would say most of the girls were about 7 in my book so no complete stunners but plenty nice enough.
Of the girls I would say only a few were directly friendly to me. Most of the other girls did not initiate eye contact, but when asked a question seemed friendly enough.
I sused out which were friendly, reasonable looking, and then which could speak a little English. Ended up with a cuty from Sichuan who liked to act sexy.
Funnily enough my colleague chose my 2nd and 3rd choices though I had not indicated it at the time, so we mush have similar choice.
The girls were very playful and as the only westerner that tried very hard to get me the drunkest. I survived and around 1am two of us decided to take our girls out.
I think the negotiations were in Cantonese (one of our party was fluent in Mandarin the other less so) this led to a mix up with my girl later.
The negotiations took some time. I think they where pretty insistent on Y1200 and only finally coming down to Y1000. I think the high price related to myself.
Anyway we were led off down a few corridors and ended up at the hotel next door without having to go outside.
My girl was great and lived up to her promise. She did however ask to go after we had finished but I insisted she stay. She did and was up for another session in the morning.
The other colleague who took the girl was happy with his choice. She was new and after sitting with 4 other customers my friend was the first to take her out.
In the morning my girl was very unhappy when I gave her 1000, I gave her HK rather than Yuan as a small extra but she insisted it was 1200. In the end I had her call the mami, who told her after vigorous discussion 1000 was the amount negotiated.
After this she accepted I was not trying to cheat her, and same for me as I think she believed 1200 was agreed.
We gave up on a bus back to Shenzhen as we just missed one when we failed to recognise a few people standing in the middle of 6 lanes of traffic that it was a bus stop. They just walked out in front of it and jumped on. There was no bus stop sign anywhere that we could see and upon asking the next bus was going to be a while.
We caught a cab back to Lowu. Ended up close to 450Y

Do not expect ANYBODY outside of the hotels to speak ANY English. They won't understand what a "Coke" is let alone "warehouse." Try using the Chinese word, "Chang ku."
One small correction, the Jia Hua Hotel is is Houjie, not Dongguan City. It's less than 10 minutes from the Sheraton by car. To get to the sauna there, you just need to know someone. If you go to KTV there, ask one of the managers or mommies to arrange it for you. Same deal with Cinese.I stayed in the Jia Hua Grand Hotel last Oct. No prob with getting into the sauna when I was there - and I haven't a word of Cantonese or Mandarin.

Take the A42 bus from HKIA to sheung shui， takes 50 mins and costs HKD28. At Sheung shui, take the train to lowu (HKD20) only 5 minutes. Walk to the shenzhen railway station and take a train to changping (RMB 35).
Get off and grab a cab, ask him to take to find xiao jie. I am now totally convinced this place is much better than the BBS of shenzhen. the girls are much more friendly ST RMB 200, LT 500. Room can be had for RMB 70. If you don't like the girls in one place go to another, the driver can wait for you.
After you are finished, back to the station and do the above in reverse. This can be managed in a short transit in HK.

I am presuming that you are referring to the sauna at the Cinese since everything else is pretty much readily accessible. I haven't been to the Cinese sauna since April of last year, but the back then, the deal was, you couldn't just show up. If you did, they didn't let you in. Basically, you had to call someone to meet you or bring you to the 6th floor (I believe it was the 6th floor if memory serves). I got the contact by asking one of the mommies from the KTV. She called someone to actually pick me up from me room and take me downstairs. Once there, she lead me to a room and brought in girls for me to select from. IMHO, just to add to your post. some comments:
dont forget to add border crossing time between 20 - 90 minutes. and i believe 35 minutes train Shenzen to CP. This is the same train that goes to GZ. Please note which BBS in shenzen and CP you are comparing to.
CP has better concentration of girls in an area than Shenzen. There are overall more P4P girl in Shenzen than CP.

I would opt for Dongguan any time. Its cheaper and lots of variey. I am in Changping now. went to Hui Hua KTV last nite and picked up a Xinjiang beauty.
Today am going to Houjie. Cannot wait to sample the beauties there.
Shanghai is more commercial, and a bit more pricier. Dong Guan has some very nice ladies and will be a little cheaper. But as for ladies, it definately goes to Shanghai.
Well, both places are good. For "mongering purposes" Dongguan is better, cheaper and there is a great selection of girls. But other than having a shag, there is very little to do or see.

I stopped in Hou Jie for a few hours to meet RickyYeoh and some of his buddies in town on a mongering expedition. Moody hitched a ride up from Shenzhen with me to meet some of his buddies too and Hoeman came up from Humen to meet us.
Waiting for Ricky and the boys to finish their deeds, we checked out the Sheraton basement sauna for future reference since it had been highly rated on this thread. It is a bit pricey for my taste. The rooms are 248 & 278 and the tips are 400, 600, 800 depending on the quality of the talent. Ricky reported that he tried the mid level and it was just average.
Hoeman, myself, and another unamed monger went off to check out the BBS scene. All the shops we knew about were still closed since we were there a few months ago. This is the area that is around the corner from the row of nightclubs across the street a little east of the Sheraton. Does anybody know where the shops might have moved to?
We stopped at a foot massage place to kill some time before meeting up with the boys again at the Sheraton KTV. Ricky had booked a huge room (3k room fee) and was already underway when we arrived. Although I could not spend the evening, we stayed around to look at a few line-ups. I would rate the quality at just average, most in the 5-6 range, with a few 7s mixed in. I reckon these were the "B" grade. They did show us one 8+, but she was 500 RMB sitting fee only. Many of the girls we saw were overweight and a few were plain ugly IMHO. If these were in fact "B", I would have liked to have seen more "A" grade to compare.
It seems that there were two prices. "A" was 300 sitting fee, "B" was 200 sitting fee. FS for both was 1,000 RMB for ST or LT at your option.
I had a couple of drinks with the boys and hit the road to GZ. I am sure Ricky will post how the evening progressed. Most of them had opted for sandwiches by the time I left. I regret that I had to leave so early.

As far as i am aware there are several areas for BBS in/around Houjie.
Firstly you have the ones around the back of bar street near the Shan Hu Hotel - there are about 10 BBS with each having about 10 girls each.
Secondly the ones behind the bus station (as you get of the bus turn left cross the road , then head left for about 100m then turn first right and go forward 100m)- here 2 BBS only each has around 5-10 girls.

She was a beauty from Hubei. Too bad she was only there for a short while as she already had another room to attend to.

I was talking to a business assoicate who raved about a complete set of fake Calliway/Nike/Ping (forgot brand) and, while fake, they performed great for a novice like him. Total price was about 1600 RMB.
I've lost contact with the friend now and the fake clubs I've seen in SZ/GZ are terrible.

Tried out the Sheraton sauna the other day. During the line up of girls I noticed that some of them wore sweatsuits instead of lingerie. Just to be different, I picked out a girl in a sweatsuit while all my friends picked girls in lingerie. Anyway, afterwards, we chatted a little and compared experiences and I've come to the following conclusion. I don't know if I'm correct, but I think it's logical. I believe the girls in the sweatsuits are actually girls who work in the spa. The reason I believe this is that my girl gave me a very decent massage. By the time I met caught up with you at around 8:30, I'm sure most of the stunners were taken. I would say that about 5% of the girls at the Sheraton are real stunners, to have a shot at any of them though, you have to arrive pretty early. The other thing is, and I'm sure a lot of you guys know this, is that most of the stunners have regular customers. On most evenings, their regulars call them to reserve them and a room.
At just about every place where I'm a regular, people are always asking me to call them to reserve rooms. It's gotten to be such a hassle I no longer reserve rooms and just show up. That way I get to see new mommies and new girls instead of the same mommy and her same team of girls. If you want to go there again, let me know and I'll give you the number of a new mommy. HJ prices are rmb35 for 1 hour, + rmb35 for 2nd hour and so on. Most of the girsl are from Fujian. An dteh HJ places are usually called Wenzhou City (Wenzhou Cheng).
Usually the girls try to convince you to go for the 2nd hour and will refrain from giving you a HJ until 1st hour is over. What they want is for you to continue into the 2nd hour. It is in the 2nd hour that they will give you a HJ.
Or if you do not have time for the 2nd hour, you can ask for HJ straightaway. The girl will quote you rmb70 for massage + HJ for 1 hour. But, if you have time on your hands, try to stay for the 2nd hour cos you get to feel the girl up more, plus you are paying for the time. Perhaps you can try for another HJ or maybe a freebie.
No tipping is required and most places have a sign that says "Do not tip". I've never tipped in HJ places and I make sure I pay at the counter in front. As for the service, YMMV. I've had girls give me HJ for only rmb35 in 1 hour. Also experienced 2 HJ in 1 hour for only rmb35 but that was a HJ girl which I was a regular with.
There is another type of HJ. It is called "wash aeroplane" (xi feiji), sort of a wet HJ. The girl will bring in some water and lotion or oil of sorts and give you a HJ with that. First, the girl will wipe your dick clean with disinfectant tissue, then proceed with slow HJ. After your load is shot, she will clean with water and wet tissue again. The whole process is really nice and your dick ends up clean and shining. The price for this is rmb 70 for 1 hour (rmb35 for massage + HJ). Some HJ places have this and some dun.
Do note that the HJ girls are paid by the hour they are engaged with a customer. I was told the girls get rmb15 for every hour the customer pays. So if you go only for 1 hour, she doesn't get quite enuff. That's why many are reluctant to give HJ so willingly. Also she may be reprimanded for not trying to keep you in the place longer. Unless, of course, you pay rmb70 for 1 hour, in which the boss will not care whether you stay on for the full 2 hours or not.
It sounds like you had a bad experience, especially when the girl stopped at the first squirt. These girls are trained and they know that if they continue stroking or pulling at the first squirt, the customer gets full gratification. Most girls will ask if there are any more of the load, which is good cos you can get them to continue stroking until you are totally spent.
Overall, YMMV with the service. As for price, it is standard in most places.

I've been to that sauna a few times. It is quite a good one indeed but the SOP is you pay 180 for the use of one of their (standard) room. plus a tip of 400 for the girl. I don't think you should have to pay the full room fee if you "order" one of their girls to your room.
Even if you stay in the hotel, I would advise using their rooms for two reasons: 1) your valuables are not exposed, and 2) the girls have full access to all their tools. Besides, many saunas in DongGuan have special apparatus on-site that your hotel room would not have and you would be missing out on some of the "specialties."

From your hotel, turn left and walk 50 yards to the highway. On the other side JiangLong, Wen Yi hotels, bit further down is Portman and Shan Hu hotels all within walking distance from Haiyatt ( or take a cab) . IMHO the Sheraton is overpriced but ok if you dont mind paying more.

chinese speaking friend to take you it the best , most mamasan and the girl
there speak some english , sheraton and jie hua ktv and sauna is good , for
good service and a good massage sauna is a better choice.

After reading the excellent detailed report of Minkfan and EnGrow. Decided to visit the KTV Nightclub at Hui Hua Hotel during my stay which i had planned for a few months.
Knowing that there is a " Da Ding " common room and appx cost helped a lot in the decision as i was there alone as my other members were still in HK and GZ. Saw packs of young girls being led by their respective Mommy's shuffling around the walkways while i was being ushered to the " Da Ding ". Minimum charge for the rooms are RMB 630, 850..etc which is pretty cheap. " Da Ding " charges are minimum RMB 38. Ordered 6 bottles of Heineken which was RMB 42/bottle.
The mommy was a little pushy so i just picked a nice looking girl from the first parade to pass the time. Normal games like dice were played. Finished the 6 bottles and asked to girl to go out for supper at 10 pm. Total damage at the place was RMB 320.

Hooked up with a few ISG mongers in CP this week. There were not enough of us to be called a convention as Tangzhen had referred to on the SZ thread. Lucky888, Mockabee and Asian Gambler bailed at the last minute. Since they have never been to CP before, they did not realize that they were missing out on the best mongering spot in S. China. I hope they can make it next time.
Cronin, Cap Iota, Ned Nobody, Mpslover and a buddy of mine from GZ showed up. After a quick tour of the catacombs (we had to wait for the King to do one), we headed to the Yalan area.
Frankly, the quantity/quality is down IMHO. We heard complaints that business has not been very good lately.
After visiting most of the places, I went back to the first one for a daring duo of sisters from Qingdao. The older one was the star and the younger one a bit shy and reserved. As always, it was good to meet up with OAH and his buddy on this trip. I bailed early the first day, and came back up to CP the next day to catch up on some R & R.
In the early evening, Ned and I were aggressively pursued by a few mamas on the main CP downtown street near Hui Mei hotel. They took us to a few of their houses to see their line up. We found the quality of girls at these houses lower than the Yalan area. We decided that it was not worth our time to visit any more houses here. Yes, there is also ferry service. When you touch down at the airport in Hong Kong, you need to go the a counter called area A1. They will have information on transporation. Do a search on yahoo or google for HK Airport transporation for schedules. You can also try doing a SEARCH on ISG for info on the Hong Kong Thread.
One thing I DON'T like about taxis in Dongguan Area, they do NOT uses the meters.

The place I think you may be referring to is about 200 meters down the road across the street on the left side of the alley. The viewing room is on the left side of the shop. sorry for the late FR. recently was in CP. could not meet with any bros on here. too bad. did the usual sauna, massages, KTV's, st, lt, yalan but no catacombs. :-) . I too notice the quantity and quality of the girls in CP not great like it was before. Or maybe my expectation is too high. Either ways, I did have a good time.
Most of the places I visited have already been posted many a times here on the forum. So I'll try to add some new comments. Visited the Huimei and HuiHua(BesideMiraton) KTV's. Saw girls from 2 mamasan at huimei(about 20 girls) and 8 mamasan girls at huihua(about70 girls). It was an average experience for me. Picked two girls at both the KTV's. My POV, I prefer girls that dress better. And that are better trained in the service department. Damage is 2-5-8, 3-5-10 I think.
Also there is a street with late night pick up near yalan. There are 30 girls that will come up to you when you drive by. Damage is 130-150, I believe. Like FangCun in Gz but with much better girls. Girls are similar to the Yalan girls. Picked a couple to take out to the bars with. Dunno why not really my idea. It's like bringing sand to the beach. Or bringing burgers to McDonalds. Anyway good thing i did as the bar i went to(Faces) was pretty dead. There was only a couple of girls I'd do. And one that I'd already been acquaited with. She kept coming over to say hi and stuff but really I could care less.
Lastly, I know of places in CP that are definitely less than the Yalan 150-200. Similar setup. Many houses here are training ground for girls that eventually work in KTV's. So I know guys who boast about paying 1500-3000 for their KTV girls. But in reality I had many of this girls in their prime for a lot less. The difference is mainly attitude. I've spent big money on the KTV girls and normally the service is better. I emphasize normally. There will always be the occasional dead fishes. But in many parts of China girls are in training to make more in the high end KTV's. Just remember they got their start somewhere.

I was surprised after my experience in Guangzhou Dong Fang Hotel with the Starbuck waitress (Read my report in Guangzhou Thread) that almost the samething happened to me in Dongguang. The below incident does proved that been Paranoid is good sometimes. After my Incident in Guangzhou I have all reasons to be Paranoid.
Part 1
I checked into the Dongguan International Hotel and decided to take a walk around the area to scout around for a lunch place. As I was wearing a NYC baseball cap, it is very easy to spot me as a foreigner from the locals. I barely walk more than 10 metres from the hotel when I was apporach by 2 girls in School uniform asking mein Mandarin: "Are you from overseas?". I answered "Yes". I can felt it coming that the next question will be: "You want to have some fun?"... Looking at them in School Uniform I said "Aren't you a bit young for these things?", They answered "No... don't worry it is very common here... ". I was hungry after a 2 hours ride from Guangzhou due to traffic. So I said No not now and took her cell#.
After lunch I got back to the hotel and checked the internet for ISG thread on Dongguan. While going though my stack of loose change the piece of papar with the School girl Cell# came to my attention. Decided to give her a call. I am well aware of the danger involved so I make all preparation in any case that any thing funny will happens. After a little negotiation on the cell, she convinced me that her age is legal (18) and ST for 150. I went down to the front of the hotel to meet her and to bring her up to my room because I didn't want her to know my room number until she get to my room. This would prevent her from having other people knows my room. As we entered the room, I told her that I didn;t like to be disturb during our "fun" and asked her to turn off her mobile. Again that cut her of from outside. (I heard of incidents where man will rush bang on the door while you are halfway though the game and extort money from you.) She switch off the cell. I double confirmed with her on: 1) She is 18, She said "Yes" 2) The ST is 150RMB, She said "yes" again. Not knowing that I had my Notebook computer on and Recorder on; recording all that she was saying all these.
We started our adventure with both of us taking showers together and followed by GFE session. She is pretty young and still quite tight. After finish off 45 mins later.

i guess she sense she is getting nowhere, she agreed to the final deal, of 150 (i had noted down the serial no. on the notes earlier just in case). she dressed up and kicked her out of the door. after she went out of the door, i called the security that i been disturbed by some school girl at my door and wanted a change of rooms. the hotel was very nice which sent a security and a porter to help me moved from my room to another.

I have just registered at ISG but read all of the posts re Dongguan. Thanks to all of you for describing the area to me. Went to Dongguan once and stayed at the Crown Prince two nights. Went to Crown Prince KTV and New Century KTV. It was awesome to see the continual lineup of cheongsams. Was with Chinese friends so that language barrier was no problem.
Plan to return to Dongguan this summer and plan to stay at New Century. There seemed like nothing to see in the day near the Crown Prince. My question to you is what does one do in the day in Changping. We will have two free days in Changping and be with no Chinese speaking people. Any tips on things to see, any great restaurants and the best in day time saunas.

changping 120 rmb or you can take the ferry from zhu hai to shekou/shenzhen

Are there any bars or night spots, other than KTVs, where three Americans (one is American Chinese), could go to in Changping? We stayed at the Nan Hai Hotel in Shekou one night and visited the little bars adjacent to the hotel but will shy away from that on the next trip.

The spa in Dongguan Hillside Hotel in DG City also provide such service. The facilities in the hotel is not bad but nothing much within walking distance. Prefer Houjie or CP anytime.

over the city and I have been there many time still not scartch the surface
yet , For a newbie like yourself changping is much easier because it is a small
town and action is much easy to find , same go for shenzhen is also a big city
with many area for mongering it will be easier if you have friend to show you
around for the first time .

OTE, The spa does offer the red rope service. I think it also offer all other services. The red rope service cost about RMB600-700 if I'm not wrong. You have to tell the mummy that you want such services. Not all girls can do such services.
