For the 10/1 factor (7/4 in US), I wouldn't go to HK before that. They are cleaning up since summer. The good stables can stood up to the $1500+ local girls at a fraction of the price, with huge bedside mirrors. But they sort of stop using those rooms and push the girls upstairs like 141, with poorer quality girls. From the newspaper, they closed down some $1500 high quality girls direct from PRC. Similar in PRC but depends on local political climate. The saunas aren't affected as much as the stables, but there's the bubble effect.

For the potential bird flu factor, I will only go to HK after flu season starts. Indeed the head of the health department (something like that) has high hopes of getting the top post of WHO (in dealing with infectious deseases?). She is strongly supported by PRC because she played their game.

English - yes in HK it's easy to get around and even some stables can find somebody to handle English. As for the girls, no English except for the Philipinas. Even for the young local HK girls, the English standard is at record low in recent years. Even if they 'know' English, they never speak it. Though you can find some locals studying or studied abroad, or lived abroad for a while. For other Asians, they may work long enough in the tourist traps to learn English. Same for the 'south' Americans.

Then it comes down to nationality - if you want them all, go to LA. If you have made up your mind - Philippines, Thailand, Argentina etc.

Forget about all nighters in HK. Some PRC girls offer the possibility on 141 site, but the others are much better looking - straightly no discount for multiple hours. You are lucky if the Philipinas stay for a couple of hours for an all nighter.

Sauna, Clubs in HK are very bad. You pay a lot for the decoration, and support a lot of people like managers, mamasans and waiters. Unless you pay top dollars there aren't much girls to choose from. Macau sauna are probably the best I agree. Prostitutes are illegal in PRC in theory, they aren't in HK but the pimps are illegal. Macau probably has the most liberal laws - if not their less than 1 million people will eat dust. But night club or K club girls are most GFE, some are semi-pros, and of course some only sing with you. They are most likely to do free lance, like a dinner date etc.

HK has 141 that is like a super lineup. The local guys regularly fall for those $600 to $1000 PRC girls. But prepared to offer significant tips for those $600 girls for a good time. There are too much KTV and stables in HK. But there's no problem because most of them are bad. Shenzhen should be better.

Of course HK has higher price for shopping, but depends. Like PC components, they are about the same all over the world. HK has everything earlier. Like the core 2 duo motherboards - they are there as soon as the taiwanese manufacturers made them - at most a few mill boards in HK the numbers is much smaller than US. For US the market is millions and millions you have to wait a bit. Also, every business people in HK is major in logistics. For commodities like electronics, the cost of employees and rent are kept very low. For a good price, you walk up some MK buildings when they announce that they have some new in stock. Some computer shops have a 5 x 5 ft store front that is not enough for their 5 sales people to stand in together. They churn out tailored made PC's (a few thousands each) every few minutes in a good day. It's like the famous suit tailors, you get the PC in an hour - better than that - you got 5 years warranty if you can bring it back. As for others - there's too much available for casual shoppers. But if you know your stuff and your price, it's heaven.

Thanks for the info Dorasan, but I don't agree that you need to give a big
tip to 141 $600-level gals for a good time. It's a crapshoot whether you get
good service or not and unless you foolishly give them a tip BEFORE service,
then a big tip wouldn't have any effect anyway.

Also, Shenzhen residents have the highest average income in the PRC, almost
double that of Shanghai residents. But since they are a Special Economic Zone,
they are not comparable. Among all the cities in China, Guangzhou residents
have the highest average income, slightly higher than Shanghai. I guess all the
factory owners (and the girls they fuck) are making good money...

I appreciate everyone's willingness to share their experiences on this topic...thank you one and all! I think I'm pretty much sold on the idea of basing my mini-mongering vacation in HK, and taking a sidetrip to Shenzhen or Zhuhai along with my normal jaunt over to Macau. I've got a valid business visa for PRC that's good until next April, so I'll just need to make sure my buddy gets a visa between now and our trip. We're thinking about going at the end of November/beginning of December, and if memory serves the weather is pretty ideal during that time of year too.

People do it all the time. I just take the elevator up to the top floor and ring all the ones that are not busy. If nothing catches your eye, walk down to the next floor.

Just follow the typical path that HK guys take and go to Shenzhen/Dongguan/Zhuhai (not Macau unless you are planning to gamble and spend a lot of money on saunas).

I honestly don't think anywhere in China can compete with the Pearl River
Delta (HK/Shenzhen/Dongguan/Guangzhou) for girls, food, girls, KTV, girls,
transportation, girls, and business opportunities. And girls.

Anybody out there with extensive experience in Shanghai, HK, and Pearl River

I tend to agree - but your report say's it all - you need to get out of HK.
If i was in HK the first thing i would do is get on a ferry to Shekou and book myself into one of the hotels close by.
The train to GZ is another option, but i must admit the hotels are not very good in that city. But i have to say that to get good deals you need cantonese skills if you go to GZ - so make sure you have a guide with you.
However if i had a choice between the south and shanghai i would pick shanghai (mainly because i know it better).
My ultimate choice is beijing (because i know it the best).
So in summary a lot depends on what you are familiar with - or make sure you have enough time to explore.

My experience last night in HK is a good example, too much beer, got attacked by a phillipino girl - next thing i knew i was in my room with a not very attactive naked phillipino with marks all over her belly which immediatly caused my old fellow to hide away in terror. Suffice to say i did not enjoy myself, but at least i assisted with a poor girls education fund (I think). Never again !

Last Friday I was at Sticky Finger and found there a lot of girls from all different nationalities.

So the Friday is still a good evening to visit this bar. Your definition of "close behind" is somewhat amusing with HK's GDP standing at USD 25444 per head vs the US' GDP at USD 42101. Additionally, you will find that the 12 richest EU countries all have higher average GDP/head than HK. Hong Kong does beat EU's number 13 (Greece) though. Well done. (All 2005 IMF figures)

Yes, you can do that. But I usually smile, ask "how much" (even if I'm not interested) and say "thank you" and turn around. If you're polite, some will try to do a sales pitch on you (like the first girl in the video) -- which is a great way to judge their attitude.

Some guys don't say anything and just turn around without smiling. It's rude although not unexpected since Hong Kongers (especially the older people) are pretty rude in general.

Some of the girls can be pretty rude themselves. Some just blurt out a price, look disinterested and slam the door on you.

Thank you all for the great posts through the forum. I am planning a 2 week trip through the Philippines and Hong Kong and have been diligently RTFF to help me plan my trip.

I have put together a preliminary itinerary based on the information in the forums and would appreciate any input or advice (I am posting this in both the Hong Kong and Manila threads). I also do have a couple questions at the bottom which I wasn’t able to find answers to in the forums. I am not so anal as to stick to this itinerary 100%, but found it helpful in planning my trip.

I don’t mind paying more to experience the best Asia has to offer so if I have missed anything PLEASE let me know, however I only speak English so would prefer to stay to the beaten path.

Note: The maps I put together are from taking information off this site or my best guess. Please correct me if there are mistakes.

Again, any further advice for a first timer heading out would be appreciated.

Day 1 – Sunday
- arrive Manila 11am and check in at the Peninsula

- afternoon - Phoenix 1 (map attached) - expect to pay 1200 room + 1200 for girl.

- Evening – rest

Day 2 – Monday
- Afternoon - Placio Don Pedro (map attached) – expect to pay 1500 room + 1500 for girl.

Philippines:

1) Phoenix 1 – could somebody let me know how to find this place. One post said it was a lobby with no name between a JVC and iBank sign. Another post said it was in the Roman Suites Hotel. Any clarification would be appreciated.

2) Is there anything else interesting to do in Manila? I spent all my time RTFF and don’t have a clue what else to do there.

3) There was some talk about the “Asian Entertainment Complex”. Could somebody let me know any further details and location.

Hong Kong

1) New Paris Club – could somebody let me know where this is. I saw a post saying on Chatham Road, but where abouts?

2) Wan Chai vs. Tsim Sha Tsui – it seems that hotels are slightly cheaper in Wan Chai, is there downfalls from staying on this side to make it more compelling to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui.

4) Beer – I know San Miguel would be the beer to drink in Manila, what is the popular beer in Hong Kong?

that's the 2007 estimate from the same source. hk took over austria in a year, and took over switzerland in about the same time. do you think any tiny old european countries have that sort of growth rate? or any growth? same for usa (& backyard canads), it's hard to change rank for such a big economy. so hk is moving fast toward usa.

you want to see what you want to see. if you open your eyes, what's between hk and usa(canada)? iceland (population <300k) ? denmark 5.4 mil ? ireland 4 mil? hong kong population 7 mil. hk has a larger economy in a tiny place comparable to dublin or copenhagen. and if you have any country in eu that made you proud, please discuss. not norway 5 mil or lux 500k pop.

and did say eu? if you average out the gdp pcap over the "european powers", what do you get? precisely - hk is right behind usa and canada.

la county has the most millionaries, one of the worst air in the country. what do we do with the eternal smog over beverly hills? laugh about it. in a good day you think it's clear blue sky, but from the plane, it's all yellowish smog. in hk, not a democracy yet, they use new and old pictures of the sky to sell citizens anything. high bus ticket to replace all buses with gas engine. no plastic bags in supermarkets on some days, so you have to buy a proper bag from them. asian electronics are usually smaller than us, but for the same model, the ac/dc local adaptors are twice as large, for efficiency i suppose. for a slow speed collision, i can see that the cars are broken into pieces. it's hard to imagine why they want those toy cars. it must be gas efficiency.

as for the chinese cities, they always want to rank shanghai and beijing above the southern cities, with economy mainly due to hk or taiwan investment. like the following news is from chinese embassy, with some complicated ranking criteria, but this is very old news. recently i heard shanghai is still number one by some criteria, and slipped down due to some others i guess.

but for average disposable income, shenzhen and "canton" is at or near the top i suppose, that officials don't want to brag about. hk is not home grown economy. shenzhen changed from a tiny border crossing town to a high rise city just because of hk. most hk people are at most 2nd generation residents, with connection back to old canton.

18 Sauna and Darling 1 are really two different experiences. Your choice of one vs. the other depends on how much time you have as well as your desire for things other than just straight sex. If your time is pretty limited then go for Darling 1. You will be hard pressed to find higher quality girls anywhere in Macau, and service is generally very good to excellent. However, if you want to try out the full sauna experience and have a few extra hours to kill, then 18 Sauna would be a great choice. It's a very nice facility, and the girls are also of high quality, although not quite as high as Darling 1 IMO. Somebody earlier mentioned the new Rio sauna as the best sauna in Macau now, as it's owned by the same folks that own 18 Sauna and supposedly has all the best-looking girls working there. I believe it costs about $200 HKD more than 18 Sauna, though. I haven't been there myself, but may try it during my upcoming visit.

The club is located at 96 Granville Road, 3/F., Hilton Tower, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon, Hong Kong Tel: 2369-1618. This is close to the Kowloon side ShangriLa and Royal Garden Hotel. Lots of clubs and massage places around here - most patrons are either locals or Japanese.

2) Wan Chai vs. Tsim Sha Tsui – it seems that hotels are slightly cheaper in Wan Chai, is there downfalls from staying on this side to make it more compelling to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui.

I always wonder why toursists stay in Tsim Sha Tsui putting up with all the touts. The most of the nice hotels and restaurants and on HK Island side. You made the right choice by being on the island.

As Sebastian My said they are different experiences. In terms of quality of girls and service I would recommend Darling 1 over 18 Sauna any day. Of course some of my Chinese friends laugh at me for saying that as they like the whole sauna experience but I do not need to recline on a chair and watch chinese TV while eating fruit and drinking beer. I go because I want sex with a hot skilled service provider. I can think of better things to do in Macau then laze around in an arm chair.

Just make sure that you get the originals of San Miguel and Tsingdao.

San Miguel from the Philipines comes in the original brown bottles with the name directly printed on it, no label sticked onto the bottle. There used to be a local brew with labels on the bottle, far not as good. I am not sure if it is still available.

Tsingdao now has several factories in China. In Shenzhen you can only get Tsigdao made in Shenzhen wich tastes terrible to me.
The original Tsingdao made in Tsingdao is the best. I think the reason might be that the water is better there. In Hong Kong I haven't seen Shenzhen Tsingdao yet, but in Shenzhen or Shanghai only the local brew is available making me change to other brands.

i hit it off pretty well with a tst working gal during a visit, and in the course of conversation invited her to visit my hotel that night. she said she has never done outcalls but she'd come see me anyway. that's cool. later it was apparent that this was her first hotel visit. the session with her at her work was. incredible. i could write all the details but that pretty much sums it up.

You claimed that EU was behind HK as of now, which is not the case.

Further, HK will have a tough case beating some European countries. Despite it's gigantic welfare system, Denmark is in very good shape, for example. The Kingdom of Denmark has also embarked on a tax cutting route which will further enhance growth.

May I point out to you, Dorasan, that HK is in fact doing the OPPOSITE. The IMF has suggested that HK "broadens its tax base" (ie introduce GST) and it looks like the hongkies are falling for that BS.

Iceland has fewer population than Macau. The others are millions less people than HK. That also means HK has a larger economy.

My intent was not to start a "EU vs HK vs US economic development/government spending/pussyandbeerPPP" discussion. There are surely more appropriate forums for that. Or we can start our own. While you are basically right that Hong Kong (still) has low taxes and basically a MUCH sounder economy than most EU countries, facts remain: EU is not "left behind" in GDP terms, nominal or PPP for that matter. And HK is not breathing down the US' neck either, as claimed by you. In fact, with the absence of double-digit growth in HK and the US GDP growing healthily, it will not happen.

Europe (esp the western "welfare" states) has some serious problem and if they do not fix this they WILL maybe be left behind. But then again, EU has some very interesting eastern member states with newly implemented low (flat) tax regimes that are growing really fast.

I don't invent GDP figures. There are at least two to three sources like IMF, CIA fact book, etc, which has slightly different figures and hece rankings. Like USA is sometimes number one in GDP and sometimes EU is, based on the same criteria like PPP.

Hong Kongers aren't that big on Christmas. Sure, some stores may be decorated and a few people may exchange gifts. But most businesses will be opened as normal and prices will remain roughly the same. I don't see how Christmas (or any holiday) would affect the girl/guy ratio in the city.

If it's Chinese New Years, that's a different story. Large sections of the city shuts down for a few days.

I like to stay at the Empire Hotel in Wanchai so I can literally roll across the street into Fenwicks. I can even watch the action out front from my hotel room. It can only mean a massage.

If you look at the pricing structure of some of the providers, their providing "uncomfortable health" (yeah, this totally cracks me up) would mean rise in prices.

And the pricing structure is pretty close to girls who do massage + HJ, massage + bm, massage + ML.

I was in Hong Kong for a few days and decided to try things out. I read up on this site and made my choice--the 141. Since I was staying at the Ibis North Point hotel, I found good descriptions of locations for the Maylun Apt and Coronet court here on the site and printed out the girls at each one.

Since Maylun Apt. was very near my hotel, I tried there first. However it seems to have a locked door with a security code and 2 security guys in the lobby. Lots of family type traffic going in and out. I considered just following someone in but, as the whitest guy in the neighborhood, I figured I wouldn't be fooling anyone. I didn't want to cause any fuss, so I continued on to Coronet Court.

Coronet Court is a few blocks west of the North Point subway station, in the NW corner of King's Rd. and North Point Rd. The address on the 141 web site isn't above the entrance but, from the adjacent addresses, you can figure what must be the place. When you enter, you are in an L shaped passage with the other end exiting onto North Point Rd. There are small shops along the passage and 3 elevators. All the girls I had listed were on the 1st floor, so up I went (beware, one of the 3 elevators only goes to even numbered floors?!).

When the elevator door opened, it looked like I was in the storage area of someone's basement. But I looked around and saw pretty much EVERY apartment on the floor was a 141. They had pink lights over the doors, printouts of the photos, etc. from the 141 site and signs saying either Welcome or Please Wait (in English). There were more girls than listed on the 141 site, including some which said 161 on their doors.

Take the blue subway line to it's western terminus. Follow signs to the ferry building. You'll end up in a shopping center. Go up to level 3 and you will find all sorts of travel agents. About half of them have posters with pictures of hot girls and sauna names hanging up. Find one with the sauna you want and buy a package. Almost. I asked for a package and was given a list of hotels. I said I already had a hotel but wanted a spa package. "We don't sell those." I looked at the pictures of the babes on the wall and he said, "Oh, you want sex?" I said yeah. "That's a sauna, not a spa." (Well, excuuuse me.) "Which sauna you want?" I picked Darling 1 since the Macau site seems to think that's the top of the line, and I was only going to be in Macau once.

Total price was 1464 (they added 30 because I used a credit card) which didn't match the price on the poster, but I don't know what all was mentioned in Chinese on the poster either. This included round trip ferry and 90 minutes at Darling 1. You can pick when you go, but not when you come back. They say you'll get a return voucher from the sauna.

Coming back--I was in Macau for 3 days. Went to the sauna on day 2 (Wednesday) in the evening. Since the sauna is near the ferry terminal I thought I'd get my return ticked for Friday morning. Found a guy who hangs around giving out return tickets for, I suppose, many saunas, but he would only give me a ticket for the Wednesday evening ferry. He told me to come back Thursday to get a ticket for Friday. On Thursday, the same deal--only tickets for immediate ferrys. Had to wait until Friday morning to get my return ticket. Normally, this may not matter, but I had a plane to catch at the Hong Kong airport and wanted an assured ticket in case the ferry was full.

Maybe this will make things a little easier for the next new guy.

The shops, I think, are generally pretty honest, but you have to understand that everyone seems to want to make a quick buck at the expense of the tourists. I've written about it recently, but some vendors charge a little extra, or don't include every service mentioned verbally, just be cautious.

Also, once you do get the ferry voucher, understand that is not the actual ticket. You get to the Macau ferry terminal and go downstairs, into a far hall left of the escalators, pick up a form. Take that form, go upstairs, and go down the hall to the right of the ticket booth (pass a Duty free shop), and hand the form to a glass counter that THEN hands you the ticket. Factor in an extra ten minutes to do all this. Creates lots of employment, but slows down the average newbie monger.

Not sure where you are staying, but I am sure that you do have time for the bars. If you can afford the bars are even if you can and have no aversion for the high prices you can have a girl in your room in the same time it takes for a old washed out service girl takes to get down there.

I usually stay in Tsim Sha Tsui on Kowloon side and I have many times taken the MTR to Wan Chai, walked straight to a gogo bar, picked out the girl I wanted, negotiated with mama'san, took a cab right outside the gogo bar (mama will get for you) back to the hotel and was back in my hotel room with a girl for the whole night within an hour of when I left the hotel. A very sexy and willing to please no bullshit girl on top of all that. Of course she does not have to stay all night, but that is what the price is for, so why not. Even if you are planning to get up at 4:00 in the morning you can give her one last seeing too and then send her on her way.

Nice hotel you are staying at. Suggest you exit your hotel, walk down the driveway. On your right is the New World shopping mall that is also connected to your hotel. In front of it is an escalator taking you to the underpass. Take that and take the Sheraton Hotel exit. Come out of Sheraton Hotel and you'll be on Nathan Road. Across from you is the Peninsula Hotel. Turn right , cross Middle Road and walk down Nathan Road.

On the left you'll see the old Hyatt hotel being torn down. Before you get to the next crossing, Mody road, you will be at the Holiday Inn. The bar on the first floor is called Hari's, or as some of my friends like to call it, "Whori's". You'll have to save the infomation for later in the evening. Continue with your walk, and the next street you cross is Carnarvon Road. On the right there will be an MTR exit. Cross the road, and the next crossing is Humphrey's Avenue. There is a Citibank on your right. If you look across from Nathan Road, you will see a Watsons drug store. That is Haiphong Mansion. The entrance to this building is on Haiphong Road. There is a provider on the Mezzanine floor. Just go there and look around and you'll see her door.

Next to Haiphong Mansion on Nathan road is Tsim Sha Tsui mansion. Leave that. Next to this mansion is Harilela Mansion. On the 11th floor there are a few providers.

Assuming you are still at Citibank, cross Humphrey's avenue, and on the right you'll see another MTR exit and across Nathan Road, you will see a mosque. Keep on walking, and the next road you cross is Cameron road, and another MTR exit on your right. Keep on walking, and the next road you cross is Granville road. One more block later, and you will see the Miramar hotel on your right. That is Kimberley road. If you hang a right, the building next to the hotel on the right is Champagne Court. Go to Block "B" and take the lift to the 7th floor and look around. Then walk the stairs down to the 6/Fl. and so on and so forth. There are some nice providers in this building.

If nothing strikes your fancy, continue walking down Nathan road, and your next crossing will be Hillwood road, which is a nice road with lots of restaurants. Continue walking, and cross Austin road, next is Tak Shing Street. You'll see a black exterior shopping mall with a hotel in it. Keep walking and your next road is Jordan road. Look right and you will see National Court. Take the lift to the top most floor and walk downwards. There are plenty of providers here. The downside is that the lifts are pretty scary.

Alternative is to skip National Court and cross Jordan road. The building in front of you is New Lucky House. the lifts are better here and you will find mostly massages with happy endings. Again take the lift to a top floor and look around, and walk downwards and do the same.

After crossing Jordan road, turn left and cross Nathan Road. You will see Yue Hwa department store. Walk down Jordan road, and the first street is Parkes street. Keep on going and before the next street, Woosung street, on the right hand side is a Yoshinoya beef rice place that you can grab some food to replenish your energy. Across the street is a 7-11. To the right of that is the entrance to the building. Go in there, climp up a floor and you will be in K-Pressure.

Now if you like action in your room, they will be willing to allow the girl to go outside with you for a minimum time of 3 sessions. Each session is 45 minutes long, and comes at a price of 1,170 (390 X 3). That will give you 135 minutes. If you need more time, you can increase it while you are in the hotel. Its in increments of per session. When the girl gets in your room she will call the company. When time is up, the company will call. You can them mention the extension. They don't give allowances for travel time. Furthermore, this is the offer they have made to me and I've been there a number of times. I don't know whether they would make the same offer to you since they do not know you. But then business is business.

I've given you a number of choices. It may be a long walk, but look at it this way, you may bump into a horny maid on her day off, who'll be delighted for a romp at the Intercon.

Have fun in Hong Kong and I hope you manage to be successful in this hunt. By the way, Sundays are quite fun in Wanchai. Pity I have to go have lunch with my mother-in-law and my wife today.

How much would it set you back with a girl from the gogo bar in TST? I had one experience and this one, the mama said she had room upstairs and later it turned out to be one small VIP ktv room behind the entrance. For the hour with the girl it came to 1500, not including my drink and the lady drink.

If someone ever asks what to do on Sundays I think Wan Chai is the definate choice. A few of the posters below mentioned how much fun the area is on Sundays. Their comments were an understatement.

After commiting to Wan Chai for a quick pickup I did a quick search of the forum and found that Laguna is PACKED on Sundays by 5:00 PM but you better get their early as the girls have to be home by 8:00.

I hopped on the Star ferry and after a quick scramble was there by 5:05. The sign said 200 cover but the bouncer waved me in.

I laughed out loud when I walked in.... the place was packed. I settled on a girl and brought her back to the IC. She was Indonesian (a first for me) and was a good time.

Check out a couple of K Pressure places in the same building! Altho Mongkok rather than Jordan.

Take the Airport express to Kowloon, then a cab (HK$20-30) to Mong Kok, Dundas St. The intersection of Nathan Rd / Dundas St is where you want.

Gam Po Shing is on the first floor of 37 Dundas St. (tel 2771-6601), mama who speaks English is Eva. You choose one of the 4 girls they bring along (rather than one at a time as at KP) pay the $390 bill and go up two floors to the 3/F hotel where you pay $80 for the room.

When youre done, come down to the first floor, say goodbye to your sweetie and trudge up to the second floor.

Here you'll find (well, you'll have passed it coming down) Doh Lee Loi, on the second floor (still 37 Dundas St; tel. 2771-5232); I forget who the mami is. Here you 'i'view' the girls I think as at KP. Charge here is $350. Having got sweetie no 2 you hoik your ass upstairs to the 3/F hotel and surprise the hotel lady with your new bint. As for the Go-Go bars one has been transformed into Bar 109, which is a nice place to grab a drink although a bit pricey for Wan Chai and you will not find girls there. I have heard that another two Go-Go bars will be disappearing as well. I say good ridance. It will be nice to walk down lockhart road to what ever establishment I want to go to with out the mami-san's trying to pull me into their bar like I'm some naive tourist.

Wanchai FLs are more costly (but open to negotiation) and only available at certain times of day and in certain locations. The big plus is that you have a wide range to choose from, and to a certain extent, you can test-drive them before you take them back to the hotel. You'll have a good chance of a GFE, if this is your thing, and they will speak fair English. Again, types and quality of service are variable but at least you can negotiate in advance.

K-Pressure is fairly cheap, not necessarily convenient to get to, but provides guaranteed quality and types of service. The girls are not A1 quality and the choice is limited.

Saunas etc can be pricey for FS, you may not be able to choose your girl, there will probably be no English spoken, and depending on where you go, the environment can be a little ropey as well. TKFor Wanchai you may want to try the Bridge bar on Lockhard Rd.
I haven't been there at morning hours myself, but heard that at least on weekends it is still busy in the morning. If you go 2-3 hours earlier, your chances might be way better.

Some 141 providers work 24 hrs. Just check the details of the individual girl. But there are not toomany available at these hours.

TKIt's rare finding a 141 girl that work early in the morning around that time. Even though, some 141 girls has stated 24 hour service, but many of times, they will not be at their address. The best thing to do is to call ahead of time, if they post a phone number to see if they are there.

You can try Hop Yee in Causeway Bay, which is very close to Wanchai. There are a few that lives in their working apt(listed as open 24hrs, but try them all anyway). Timewaster. Places like Laguna, Neptune etc have a doorman and charges posted. The only people who pay are Yanks, usually US Navy who get their wallets out and offer! I have experienced this a few times over the years and have stuck firm. I wouldn't say the incidences are on the rise. Last time it happened to me was more than 6 months ago. Im no expert on HK been there a few times, last trip two weeks ago, I reside in the Philippines and did a lot of checking around regarding prices, specials and all best I can tell you is look at the hotel sites dont go below three stars. A general rule of thumb is if you are going to stay on Kowloon side it is probably cheaper the farther north you go (towards mongkok) however you are getting farther away from the mongering areas. If you do get a hotel try to get something JUST OFF NATHAN ROAD coz that is where all the subway stops are, very hard for you to get lost.

If you stay on HK side it is going to be a bit more expensive but closer to your mongering areas in the Wanch (wanChai), consider the tactical and practical side of it, if you go a wanchi bar and score with one of the ladies you are going to have to get a cab back to kowloon or are you going to take her back on the subway, which stops running at 1 am?????

As far as your age while most of the working girls do perfer an older more "financially secure" man they would not hesitate to dive on a fresh faced younger guy as long as you are willing to spend the money. first, I want U to know Im not a monger any more, I was and mongered in HK 5 yrs previously. But the past two times I returned with my filipina wif ein tow. My company put me up in a serviced apartment in North Point. The place is about 20 square meters, the size of the bathroom at the hotel i was in last weekend. It really bites.

After being here for a week, I really wanted some time to just rest. Between touring and working, my feet hurt. My head hurt. I hurt. My shoebox apartment wasn't an option. I read that the saunas are a decent place to chillout and perhaps the only saving grace of the North Point area is that it is has an abundance of the establishments.

Came through the front door and was ushered up to the 3rd floor in a private elevator.

In this forum I have noticed that there are 3 saunas mentioned alot. I can't remember all of them. However, do a search for K pressure in Jordan. It seems like a members favourite. There is also as mentioned by me earlier in this post the Sun Hot and Tsim Sha Tsui.

I am a caucasian and whilst I have seen the booths and signs advertising cover charges at Neptune / Makati / Fenwicks etc I have never been asked to pay.

I will always stop / pause and chat to the Doorman / bouncer and say hi, then just walk in with confidence and a polite word. I have done this with local friends with me and we have never had a problem.

Medium level accomodation- The Stanford Hotel is reasonably cheap. Rates going around US80 a night.

High Level accomodation- If you are a rich rich man, please go to the Peninsula Hotel.

Actually on review, I can't let you stay long term at my apartment, as I dun have a spare room, so it would be very hard for you to stay there. However a couple of nights is ok. I can ask reception to do something for you.

And KTV I think means literally Karaoke TV. If you read my post you will know what it is. But to sum it up short, its an expensive kind of place where you have drinks with girls, play games and get to touch them provided no stripping of clothing happens. I am not a monger in Hong Kong and like my posts have said. I have actually not even had any action in Hong Kong. However, I lived there as a kid, and go back every single year.

However, for anyone who is arriving into Hong Kong for the first time, I would offer you these suggestions.

Hong Kong is the 4th most expensive city in the world when it comes to cost of living. And so it should be. Things can actually be quite expensive. Especially housing. You may find that accomodation will be smaller than what you are used to. However the prices can be very cheap or very very expensive. For example, Food. You could go to the back of the chungking mansions or Mirador mansions and get a drink with food for around $30. Or you could eat and drink in the Peninsula Hotel where the beer is around $60 dollars each bottle.

A good budget and you should have a very enjoyable time in Hong Kong. Mix what you do in Hong Kong. Cheap entertainment and expensive entertainment. Do a search in google for *Hong Kong Travel Guides* and read at least 20 of them. Should help you out.

I have noticed that some people always ask about what to do in Hong Kong on a short time schedule. This is my suggestion:

When you are checked out of the HK international airport you are faced with these options.

What Kind of Sex do I want?
Where? Kowloon or HK Island?
How much do I wish to pay?
How long do I have in HK to stay?
What type of girl do I want?
What time am I arriving in HK?

Here I will attempt to answer your questions.

What type of sex? well. 141? do a quick search in www.******.com before you come. Should help. They are usually in Kowloon around Mongkok, Jordan. To get there from the airport. Catch for $33 an A21 bus. or for around $130, catch an airport express train to Kowloon and then a taxi to your destination. If you are worried about luggage, you can leave it in the Airports baggage service. If you are coming in late in HK, this might not be the best option as most 141 close at 12am midnight. 141 costs around $200-$1000 and lasts from around 30 minutes to an hour.

Quick fix I would call it. You can get mainly chinese mainland and HK local girls. Although as a rarity, you can get Koreans and Europeans.

Do you want KTV? if you do, it would be along the same lines as 141. They are usually in Kowloon as well. The the amount is usually around $1000 or more. KTV closes late so late arrivers shouldn't have a problem. However I would never suggest late arrivers to KTV. KTV usually closes around 4am. So maybe not the best? Ask for Lockhart Road. Then your there. Choose for the bar you want. I would personally suggest for your time constrictions, go straight up to Fenwicks. They might not have the best talent, but you sure can get you action. Short time could cost you $1000. Take them to a hotel nearby. I'm sure they know where to go. You could get lucky at Fenwicks in terms of nationality.Forums here suggest that you could bang a White girl, Columbian, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Filipina, or Indonesian. Subject to seasonal variation...lol or more like visa variation lol.

You have the choice of newbies or semi pros or pros. Just find a pro. You don't have all the time to chat up a semi or a newbie. This option is obviously good for people arriving late to Hong Kong. Strawberries I've been told closes at like 8am.

Do you want to go to a sauna?

I have had the same problem with cover charges since I moved to HK in 1997 (I am an ABC). In my experiences:
* I get stopped pretty much everywhere except Neptune II (I used to get stopped at Neptune I).
* Laguna's is hit and miss. Usually on Saturday afternoons and Sundays I have not been asked for a cover charge.
* I know the manager at Fenwicks and have to ask for him by name every once in a while when he gets new door staff in. I have cut down on Wanchai over the years and he teases me about needing to visit more often.
* If you are a regular, you get in with no problem.
* If you are with gwei lo friends, you get in with no problem.
* I now do the KTV thing with my local friends. A bit more expensive, but less headache and a bunch of fun. For three hours, about HKD1,300 will pay for the KTV room, beer and girl (ST).

Yes, HK is one of the most overtly racist locations in Asia--and since racism is legal, the door policies are legal.

If you are travelling alone, you might just want to jump on a plane to Bangkok. Roundtrip airfare, hotel, beer and women for three days in Bangkok can be cheaper than one long night in Wanchai!
