Just returned from a brief stop in Wan Chi and I though I'd report in on my latest findings.

No doubt the two best places in Wan Chi are Fenwicks and Neptunes II.

I was able to make my annual visit to HK 2 weeks ago and I really believe you get better value at K Pressure than at the 141s.

How to get there:

One map that I stumbled upon comes from the MTR.

Day 3 Hong Kong.

Once you are at the crossing of Dundas street, look 45 degrees to your left and you will see a building with lots of signs. That's it. Cross the street, turn left and after several steps you are there. Walk up one flight, and you will be at the Kam Po Shing Karaoke Night Club. As another poster has mentioned, there is another club on the 2nd floor. The rooms are located on the 3rd floor.

We were warmly greeted and shown to a room. We asked for a lineup, picked two quickly. We let our friend from the US make his first choice, and I took my second choice, since my buddy took my first preference. Our third friend took a little longer to make his selection. Its located south of Prince Edward road and north of Mongkok road on Nathan Road. There are 2 floors in the building that are "karaoke" and have the same setup as KP. We went to the thrid floor. The place smelt of beer and looked a little rundown. If you don't speak Cantonese, it might be difficult, but just point to the $390 in the poster on the walls should do the trick.

I got a quick response, paid by credit card and received the hotel voucher within 30 minutes.

I was lucky that there was no fair in town at the time of my visit (Nov 4 – Nov 6). I paid just 560 HKD + 30 HKD CC surcharge = 590 HKD.

The Optical Fair started on Nov 7 and the price jumped to 870 HKD!

Rooms

The rooms at the King’s hotel are small, but very functional.

They feature:

- A comfortable double bed.
- Couches along the wall next to the bed.
- A futuristic bathroom with wash basin and hot water shower.

Wanchai Discos

General

There are plenty of bars/discos in the Wanchai district that cater specifically to gweilos. White guys walk straight in. Chinese & other Asians, Indians, Arabs & other “undesirables” may be asked to pay a cover charge. Racism is perfectly legal in Hong Kong!

The bars are full of freelancers, mainly from SE Asia. Latinas (mostly Colombian), Russians & Africans can also be found. Obviously, the girls cater to the same audience.

Although the girls are freelancers, the bars do have ladies’ drinks. They cost around 70 HKD, of which 40-50 HKD goes to the girl.

Fenwick’s

At the time of my visit, the majority of the girls seemed to be Filipinas (60%). Prices are supposed to be 500 HKD ST & 1000 HKD LT, but the Filipina I wanted to take home wouldn’t go LT for less than 1500 HKD.

The Colombianas (25%) were sitting by the wall on the right as you enter from Lockhard Rd. Every girl I talked to said she was from Medellin. Most of the girls were overweight and didn’t seem all that young. But there were some pretty faces and a few skinny babes. Latinas in HK don’t come cheap, though – the hotties wouldn’t budge from 2000 HKD ST!

There were also some Thai girls in Fenwick’s (10%). I danced with a Thai girl for a while. She looked great dressed, but I lost interest in her when she told me she had 3 kids. When a regular customer of hers showed up, I told her it would be alright if she went to talk to him. When I came back from the bathroom, she was otherwise engaged.

Finally, there were the others (5%). I spotted a few African girls and talked to a couple of Chinese girls. They were older, but very well preserved, and spoke English. Finally, I also talked to a smoking hot Russian (from Uzbekistan). She was flirting with me, but was in the company of a Russian flathead. As much as I wanted to pursue her, I thought it wiser not to.

BTW, the fact that I visited Fenwick’s on a busy Saturday night may have had an influence on prices.

Laguna

On Sunday afternoons, Laguna is packed with Indonesian domestic helps on their day off. Laguna was great fun, as the girls can get pretty wild, especially when they start playing Indonesian music. But the quality was poor, and the few hotties were waiting for their boyfriend / regular customer.

When the nightshift arrived, they seemed to be mostly Filipinas.

Neptune II

Neptune II is a Thai stronghold (90%) and the selection is pretty good.

You’ll also find Latinas and some “others”. Both the Latinas I talked to were from Colombia (1 from Armenia, 1 from Bogota). Prices seem to be a little cheaper than in Fenwick’s, as a total babe agreed to a 1500 HKD ST. But in the end, she couldn’t go through with it...

Wanchai Go-go Bars

Apart from the discos, there are plenty of rip-off go-go bars in Wanchai. The mamasans are extremely aggressive and it can be difficult to shake them off if you let them grab your arm. They try and lure you in with cheap drinks (20-25 HKD beers), then apply pressure to buy ridiculously expensive ladies’ drinks. The barfines are also sky-high.

141 Girls

General

Brothels are illegal in Hong Kong. But a girl providing sexual services in an apartment is perfectly legal, as long as she’s operating alone. That’s where the term 141 (one for one, one floor one, one flat one lady) finds its origin.

The 141 girls advertise their services on a variety of web sites. The pictures are recent, often taken in the apartment where she works, and generally haven’t been airbrushed. A lot of the girls don’t show their face, though.

The girls’ apartments are generally pretty small. They’re often regular apartments, split into 2 or 4 and rented out to the 141 girls.

The girls all have CCTV in their apartment, so they can see the johns roaming the corridors. According to reports, they may open the door and present themselves if they notice you walking by, but that never happened to me.

The sign on the girl’s door will either say “Welcome” or “Please Wait” (in English). If there’s no sign, the girl currently isn’t working or the apartment is vacant.

If the girl’s advertisement on the 141 site mentions her address, just show up. No need to call in advance. No need to make an appointment.

If the advertisement only mentions a phone number, it basically means that she only services local Chinese. The procedure with these “Hotel Reservation” girls is the following. You ring the number and you talk to the mamasan / papasan (never the girl), who’ll set up the meeting. The meeting will take place in her hotel room (included in the price), not in your room. Unfortunately, most of the best-looking 141 girls are “Hotel Reservation” girls and they generally won’t go with foreigners.

Most of the 141 girls are mainland Chinese. A lot of them have big tits, so that seems to be a selection criterion. Very few of them speak any English. Local HK Chinese can also be found and are more likely to speak English. Girls from other countries (like Japan) are rare.

Judging by the number of punters roaming the stairs and corridors, the 141 girls must be high-volume girls. The better-looking girls all turned down my request for pictures. Guess they could do without this picture-mad gweilo.

I walked all the way down from the top floor and the first “Welcome” sign I saw was on the 5th floor. There were a few more 141 girls on the 4th and 3rd floors. I only saw 1 girl I liked (3rd fl, Apt Q1), but a local beat me to the bell and took her.

Unlike in the 141 buildings on Lockhart Rd, most of the apartments were occupied by regular people and there were only a few 141 girls.

Of course, I may have been entirely too early (1 PM – 2 PM).

You can check out the 141 sites, pick your favorites and pay them a visit.

You can just visit buildings with a lot of 141 girls and knock on every door that has a “Welcome” sign.

You can combine both techniques, visiting 141 buildings having prepared a list of favorites in that building.

Beauty & Service

The quality of the 141 girls in HK was disappointing. The fact that none of the more attractive girls would agree to pictures didn’t help my cause either.

If you wanna get laid in Hong Kong, the Wanchai bars & discos are your best bet. They’re great fun, they offer variety and the girls provide excellent service.
