Barely one week after an excellent handjob at the No.1 Sauna in Central, I couldn’t resist the urge to go back and have sex with my cutie. Full service cost $1,700 at this place, which is quite expensive. But then it is a nice place – clean and safe – which deserves a premium. The clientele is also quite up market, and they tend to be people who work in Central. Apparently about half of the customers are non-Chinese. I hope I’m not giving away too much as to lead the police to crack down on this place.
Finally, I guess this report does not really answer Charming's question, which is why he didn't get an extras when he visited recently, after my first trip there. Perhaps you need to impress the manageress that you're not a cop but a real monger?
Well since you are not being specific in what you want, probably one of the best places to stay in is the Grand Deluxe Harbour View Suite at the Peninsula Hotel where a 1 bedroom will set you back HK 15,000. This hotel is world class and you must make sure you have tea there one afternoon.
Alternatively, across the street from the Pen is the infamous Chungking Mansions which also has a seaview from the top. Rates are about HK 300 per night per person.
Both places are very near Hari's where you can pick up from an international pussy buffet selection for your dessert needs. Note Chungking Mansions is right next door to Hari's.
Rates above are in HKD, per night, and simply divide by 7.80 to get the US equivalent.

When I was there last November, the scene was as active as the pre-Langham days. The only thing that has changed is that the ladies are more likely to be legal visitors. In the past, you'd have tons of illegal migrants from Shenzhen working the Mongkok brothals who get rounded up periodically by police. These days, most are in Hong Kong on legitimate visas. I know this because I see cops stopping the ladies all the time on Soy/Shanghai and the ladies seem able to show proper documentation.
Remember, this is ultra-capitalistic Hong Kong! When there is opportunity to make money, nothing can drive the sex business away. If activity declined, it was probably more due to economic recession than Langham Place. These days, of course, the Hong Kong economy is roaring.

I was there last November (6 weeks ago), not "a year ago". If you were there "2 month[s] ago", that means I may have more updated information than you.
Hong Kong indeed changes fast. But what remains constant there is the drive to make money and the level of horniess amongst the male population. Maybe things really changed fast and, in the last 6 weeks, it's all gone. But I will bet anything it's there or it will return (or you looked in the wrong places). Usually, special events will temporarily drive away the sex trade such as the opening of Disneyland last September or the WTO meeting a few weeks ago. During these high profile events when tourism peaks, police conduct crackdowns. But once they're over, the sex trade returns in full force.
Langham Place has NOT had as much of an effect on vice as many had feared. Any local mongerer will attest to this. Yes, rent rose and a few brothals closed. But 75% of them are still there. I really wish I had taken photos of Soy/Shanghai when I was there last month. You will see the scene was hardly dead. I'm always tempted to snap some photos but feared triads may come after me.

This is incorrect. Girl with legit paperwork still work in Mongkok brothals. I know becuase I had two brothal sessions last month with perfectly documented providers. That's because it's easy to get legit paperwork these days. Two years ago, China enacted a law allowing individuals on the mainland to visit Hong Kong. Before this law, tourists had to join a tour group. I believe this law was part of CEPA (Closer Economic Partnership Agreement) between Hong Kong and China enacted Jan 1, 2004.
I'm sorry if you overlooked the scene when you were there. But the bottom line is, nothing will drive away the sex trade in Mongkok. This is Hong Kong where capitalism is a religion. The day prostitution disappears from Mongkok is the day the French tears down the Eiffel Tower.

Let's not get in a pissing contest here. Langham place has had an effect on the neigbourhood and like everything there will continue to be changes. I am not a fan of the street trade and it may have decreased significantly. On the other hand, it's a bit silly to say that all HK mongers go to China when one sees the brothels and sauna doing quite well and the number of 141 girls are at an all time high. Just walk in any of the popular 141 buildings and it's easy to see that mongers are not all heading to China or Macau.
As to the quality, again some of the 141 girls provide excellent services and are stunning. I personally think why waste hours going to China when you can go shopping on the computer and save time? Nothing wrong with a little trip now and then for variety but it's obvious that the trade is alive and kicking in HK and it'll only get better as the travel restrictions ease.
A point about travel documents, there was a big bust recently on people getting false papers so while the girls may have papers, they may not necessarily be the real thing.

I was at Mong Kok last week before I headed back up to Beijing. I went around 2 in the morning. There must have been 50 girls with their pimps standing around the street corners of the eating stalls and the other side. My favorite place, "Night Cat" has closed down, so I just went across the street to "Lots Passion" (Dor Ching). Must have cycled through 20 girls before I made papasan recall one. The qaulity was not bad either. Surprised to say the place was extremely busy for a Christmas eve.
So to refute, Mong Kok is not dead, it's just the girls and their pimps have to be a bit more discrete since the opening of Langham Place.

"strictly business" hangouts like fenwick's, on the other hand, were full as usual. mostly thais and philipinas, plus a few eastern european & latin girls, and maybe one or two chinese girls. unfortunately if you're looking for the top quality girls you will not find them there... average 6s and 7s with overpriced rates compared to what you'd find in bkk.
other notes:
1. as i don't speak chinese, the 141 "hotel reservation" girls were not at all accessible to me!! whenever i called the reservation number, as soon as i spoke english the papasan (or mamasan) would make up some fake excuse and hang up. i'm sure some of the girls might be available for foreigners, but the whole experience was very frustrating for me and i gave up trying.
2. i did, however, have good luck with the 141 "apartment" girls. not to shill but special mention goes to "joey" at the james s. lee building (in tst):

anyway, moral of the story is if you don't speak chinese try finding a 141 girl who lists "english" anywhere in her profile, at least for your first time.

4. for transportation, i got the octopus airport express card at the airport for hk$300 which includes unlimited train/subway use (for 3 days i think), two trips (return ticket) on the airport express, hk$20 refundable credit (for ferries, etc), and hk$50 refundable deposit. they have a cheaper one with only one airport express trip as well.

First of all, thank you guys for all the information posted here. It´s literally a goldmine of information. I am flying in to Hong Kong this week, and I fell that I am very well equiped entering the Mongering Scene in HK, thank to all the excellent posts here.
Call me silly, but what I have done was to print out a lot of post. In "thread tools" you can choose to see 1000 posts in 1 page, making it easy to print out. I only printed out the last one, which currently holds close to 900 posts in 329 pages covering 1 year of posts. I read them all. (BTW: I did the same think for Macau - 274 pages)
To all the newbies like me, do yourself the favour and read the thread. It holds information about everything, and you dont have to ask all the silly questions. And furthermore, it is more entertaining than any novel, money could buy you.
I promise you, I will post here about my escapades in HK. But thanks to you guys posting here, I have pretty much planned everything in advance. I will for sure go to K Pressure, walk the Mong Kok scene and hit the wanchai bars like Fenwicks before heading to Macau and further on to Shanghai.
I will be in HK this friday. Any fellow mongers to hook up for some beers and a trip to Wanchai. Not that I need a wingman, but it is always much more fun to hunt in pairs. Right?

I too have to say Mong Kok is not dead as I got laid there twice this past weekend. There are still plenty of street walkers (although perhaps not as many as years ago) and there are more brothels/saunas/nightclubs/141's they you can count (perhaps more than years ago). There is no shortage of hourly hotels either.
Maybe Langham Place has had a small effect on things but it is small. I might be wrong in this assumption but I think not as many local Chinese are interested in picking a girl up off the street when there are so many brothels/saunas/nightclubs/141's and that they can go to. I'll pick the girls up in the bards in Wan Chai but if I am in Mong Kok I just go to whatever place I am in the mood for even though. (I am local but a white guy).

I didn't bother to pick up anyone there, so I'm not sure what the current rates are... but I believe an average girl there would ask for HK$1000 ST from which you can negotiate downwards (or nego for LT.) The 141 "apartment" girls top out at HK$600, so I would use that as a yardstick.

I'm Chinese and love to pick girls off the streets in Mongkok. It isn't simply about sex. There's the thrill of hunting for talent and being amongst a mob of guys doing the same. If you spot one you like, do you follow her up a brothal? or do you take your chances and wait for something better? And unlike visiting a sauna or 141, you can stand near the corner of Soy/Shanghai and spend hours watching the streetwalkers without buying. You can even walk right next to one to better judge height/weight/face without obligation or feeling awkward. Try doing that at a 141 or sauna.
There are also lots of great street food in the area (near Nathan Rd and Soy St). Try some fake shark-fin soup or curry fishballs!

FurryFriend and Fast Eddie 48 are both right about one thing - things change fast in Hong Kong.
2 weeks ago I wrote a post about my mid-December visits to four different 141 girls in the Mongkok neighborhood, including Jan, a chunky 29 year old with huge boobs who gives great, 5-star service, and three other girls, all from Mainland China and all between 18-21 years old.
A couple of days ago, I checked out the 141 web site again, and lo and behold, only one of the 4 girls (Jan) is still on the web site! And even her photos have been updated. The three younger girls no longer appear on the Mongkok section of 141. So that means that they either moved to a different neighborhood, or more likely their visas expired and they went back to Mainland China.
Two of the younger girls' apartments, at 12 Fyfe Street and on Fa Yuen Street, are now being used by other 141 girls. Looks as if the girls coming in from the mainland are rotated in and out of the apartments.

One type of mongering place that doesn’t seem to get mentioned too much on this board is all the night clubs in east Tsim Sha Tsui. While they are not cheap and I am told not as popular as they were over a decade ago they can still be quite an experience (and are quite busy).
I decided to write this because someone mentioned how difficult it was for white guys passing through town to meet “9” or “10” Chinese ladies and how to do so you need to head to Macau. A lot of the ladies in these places are “9” or “10” and should provide a real GFE experience as their jobs depend on their service being great – otherwise they just become $400 a pop 141 girls.
There seems to be an impression that it is difficult to go to these places if you are not Chinese. This is not really the case as over the past few decades the vastly overpaid British civil servants frequently went so each upper-end establishment has mamisans that are fluent in English.
I’ll try and provide some information that might be useful on these places:
1) In east Tsim Sha Tsui there are quite a few establishments. The ones that have the brightest lights and are the largest are the places you want to go to (like New Paris Club or the China Club) as they provide the best services and are not scam joints. If a place looks small and dingy I would avoid it. (The main clubs are nothing like the tiny seedy night clubs on Lockhart road where tourists are separated from their money very quickly).
2) I recommend going between 5pm – 8/9pm as it is Cha Mo (Tea dancing) time and is much cheaper than later.
3) When you first arrive at a place they will ask you for the name of the mamisan who you normally deal with. Just say that this is your first time at THEIR club. (Make it look like you know what you are doing – just be confident).
4) You will be lead to a room and someone will bring in some water and snacks.
5) Shortly thereafter a mamisan will appear to tell you the house rules and ask you some questions such as what type of girl you like (if this is your first time don’t ask for anything out of the ordinary like anal as you will not get it, and likely will be shown the door, in fact don’t mention sex at all your first time as it is implied you will be having it). If you go during Cha Mo the price will be between $500-700 for an hour’s time with a girl, your drinks (beer, etc), her drinks (she will drink what ever you have) and the fee to take her out of the club.
6) If it is your first time you will be asked to pay up front. Just do it, don’t complain. (While these places are on the up and up I recommend cash). The mamisan will leave and some one will come in with a bill. During this time some drinks and dice will arrive. (People like dice games, there will also be a karaoke machine in the room too – I never use either).
7) The mamisan will appear back with a girl. The lady should be a pretty, young Hong Kong girl. She will ask if the girl is fine (generally for a first time I would say yes as you want to develop a good relationship with the mamisan if you plan to come back there).
8) You can do what ever you want with the girl provided that clothes stay on. The girl will drink and joke with you (and sing and play dice if you want). She will kiss you with lots of tonge action and let you feel her up.
9) She will likely try to convince you to take her out of the club (or you can say lets go to her). She will call the mamisan to settle the bill and let her know that she is leaving. Note if you are acting like a jerk or she doesn’t trust you she does not have to leave with you. She is a regular HK employee and expects to be treated as such.
10) If this is your first time the mamisan may ask you to pay an “escort fee” for the lady to leave the building with you for up to 3 hours. While this fee (around $600) should be included in the Cha Mo you are trying to make a good impression on the mamisan so just pay it (but you can joke that you’ll pay it this time but isn’t it included in the Cha Mo? - Use those words and the mamisan will realize that you know the score).
11) The bill will come back to you – likely around $1,000. You will be asked to pay $300-500 as you already paid $500-700 which will be netted off the bill. The bill will be itemized to include over priced mixed nuts, the drinks, the girls time, the escort fee and a 17% tip for the mamisan. Yes all this should have been included as it is Cha Mo time but just pay it. You are getting a GFE experience and building good will with the mamisan. Even if you are just a tourist through town let it be known you come to Hong Kong 4-6 times per year so she thinks there will be repeat business. When you go back to the same club ask for your mamisan (who will have given you her card when you first met her). From your second time on you will just pay the Cha Mo fee.
12) The last thing the mamisan will do is negotiate how much you will pay the girl directly for her time. This is normally $1,000-1,500. Yes this is expensive by mongering standards in HK but you are getting a young pretty local girl who will give you a true GFE experience (these ladies make a lot of cash – they are not going to screw up their jobs). Again on your first time it will likely be $1,500 but closer to $1,000 if you go back.
13) Total damage for your first time should be close to $2,500 ($1,500 to the girl plus $1,000 to the club). The next time you go back it should be closer to $1,500 ($500 to the club plus $1,000 to the girl). These are Cha Mo prices. If you go later expect to pay more and instead of taking the girl out for 3 hours you will get her until 4am. Because of this she will want more money – like $1,500-$2,000. Also the club charges more for drinks and the girls time after 8/9pm.
14) When you take the girl out you can do whatever you want (of course all expenses are on you). You can go for dinner or drinks or straight to somewhere to have fun. If you are not taking her to your house (I never take p4p home) or to your Hotel (if you are a tourist) and are going to an hourly hotel, let her recommend a nice one. These ladies are used to being with people of financial means and $120 short time motel is not going to be acceptable to her (or get you in good with the mamisan). Splurge and go to an upscale $200 hourly hotel.
15) Also do not be annoyed if the lady has to call and check in after you have left the club. These are proper places of employ and they take their employees safety seriously.
I think this essay should come to a close. All in all I would recommend these establishments as they can be quite a fun time, despite being expensive. They can be a nice change of place from Fenwicks or Mong Kok. Sorry for not being more specific about clubs or mamisan's but I do not think any who I know would appreciate their names being posted here.

Maria de la Torre -- from a large, poor, Catholic family in the Philippines -- is the 1990s version of Suzie Wong. She tells how she contributed to her family's needs by working in Hong Kong as a "dancer". The simply-told story presents up-to-date realities of the ever-demanding sex industry. A fictionalised account of a true story.
The Great Hong Kong Sex Novel by George Adams (1993)
This is a book about chasing local ladies. If you are too cheap to buy it you can read the entire book online at “Not the South China Morning Post” for free
The Wanchai Chronicles : A Tale of Lost Innocence in Hong Kong’s Red-Light District by Svend Christiansen (2005)
This book is about the goings on in Wan Chai. All the names have been changed - i.e. Strawberries is Rasebarries in the book but it is pretty obvious what is what if you have been to Wan Chai. Also if you are too cheap to buy the book the author has the entire thing for free on his website (blog).

This is one of the best, if not the best, reports of the nightclub scene I have read. I have always wanted to go to a nightclub because I hear the girls are beautiful and it would be a change of pace for me. I never went to a nightclub because I didn't have enough info about them--until now.

For all those that don't speak Cantonese and are nervous trying the 141 girls I offer the following:
Don't worry, speaking is not necessary. The procedure is very straight forward.
1. Find a few you want to try in the area you are staying or want to go to. Bring the addresses with you as the first few could be busy.
2. simply walk up to the apartment door and ring the doorbell. They might have a sign on the door in Chinese - who cares, it either means "I'm Free" or "I'm Busy". Either way, they will either answer the door or not. If they don't, walk on to the next address.
3. When you find anj available girl, she will almost certainly be happy to have a foreigner - I've never been turned down. Go inside and basically start undressing.
4. She will get you a towel, point you to the shower, get it warmed up, invide you in, get in as well and then proceed to wash you down.
5. You may or may not get some action in the shower.
6. Dry and go to the bed.
7. Go the dirty - covered BJ, maybe AR, sex, clean up. Usually no anal unless advertised but try it on, she may be willing and will let you know if she isn't without being offended.
8. Shower again, dress, pay and leave.
No tips expected, just the posted fee.
Many of the girls do not resemble their photos, but it's cheap and usually pretty good service. On every occasion they have been happy to have a foreigner.

Both are better in Mongkok. Mongkok is the nightlifr capital of HK, plenty of other attractions can be found elsewhere.
Mongkok and TST are actually pretty close to each other so it doesn't make a great deal of difference - but if you want to go to Wanchai, then both are quite far away.

If you must go to Fenwick then:

The place is a snake pit but it brings in lots of girls. If you are talking up a girl you can tell her to slow down on the drinks and you'll give her a tip directly.

During recent trip to HK, I followed Rick Hunter's report on the Night Club Scene and paid a visit to the New Paris Club. Just as he described for a new comer to the club I was assigned a mamisan who provided several line ups for me. The local I selected was young and later found out quite inexperienced - I guess they take any girl that comes knocking.
The visit to the hotel room was "okay" but not worth the money spent.

Pentathlete - As unfortunate as it is I think that you got taken by the place you went to in Jordan since you were a tourist. While most of the clubs there I believe are OK a few are on the same level as the "nightclubs" (not Fenwicks but the pole dancing places) in Wan Chai. I'll play in Jordan to Mong Kok but unless I am with a local (as in Cantonese speaker) I tend to avoid the clubs in that area and just go to the saunas/141s.

Good ole KP has come in for a lot of worthwhile discussion and recommendations. In Cantonese it's Gam Gaai Laih. There are a few other Gaai Lais around the place if you want to break new ground.
The bit below is courtesy of an ongoing research project conducted by my good fiend Steve Blazensky.
There's San Gaai Laih -- 740 Nathan Rd, third floor, Mong Kok. The whole 6 floor building is a *****house, hotel etc.
San Gaai Laih is on the third floor. Simuialr to KP, mamas are hovering round, you get ushered into an interview room. Nicer i'view room -- TV on, fotty as I recall. Then as before pay (same as KP) and up to the hotel where you pay $88 (like KP) for the room. Rooms are actually nicer here -- a hotel with a bed n sheets rather than the big plastic bed as in KP.
I saw Yuen Kwan a few times -- she was actually keen on learning English, altho most of them dont speak any Eng at all of course. Theyve all got Cantonese.
Be careful you walk up *past* the second floor - Fa Tin -- a similar establishment to San Gaai Laih on the 3rd, except that the 2nd floor is dark, dingy and very smokey. SGL much nicer.
Another good one is Kam Po Shing, 109 Dundas St Mong Kok. There are some white marble stairs going up to the first floor. Thats the place. Mamas usher you into room as with KP, 430 for girl, 80 for hotel. Here they bring you three at once and you choose then and there (I prefer the KP 'interview' situation, but some like the meat market bit).
Then there's Dò Gàai Laih” (多佳麗) -- 2nd floor, corner of Shanghai St and Bute St on a fairly busy intersection in Mong Kok (not sure of the no but you cant miss it). Same deal as KP. I havent been here. Steve sez tho that the entrance is wide and bright, so one feels a bit conspicuous there waiting for the lift to 2nd floor. (Again, the whole bldg is massage, KP, 'hotel' etc

Fuckingham Palace in Causeway bay
...Get a cab or an MTR to the New York Cinema, in Causeway Bay Plaza 2. Opposite the cinema, near the 7-11 at 474-476 Lockhart Road is a staircase leading up to an old residential building.
I checked out the place above and was very impressed.I dare to say that this is probably the best place I have ever been (I have ben mongering for over 15 years all over the place. Singapore, London, Poland, Norway, India, China etc etc)
The mongering starts from 11th floor to the fifth floor. With 5-6 independant girls in their own rooms with shower. The rooms are newly refurbiched and are kept clean by the girls. You knock on the door and if you do not like th girl, you move on. The price is fixed at 380 HK Dollars (about 50 us dollars)
But you may argue that you have seen all this before. In mongkok, in Soho etc. And the prices are not so great either. So what is so great about this place?

Nice report John. Saw your mentioning these places some time back and glad you ventured there before me. I too have been in the same position as you when I have not seen any interesting girls and decide to leave. In one case the papasan was becoming very threatening, and even sticking $100 note in his hand was not appeasing him.
To top it off, this was a place I had been to before. But after that episode, I never ventured into that club again. The club was mentioned in this forum a few years ago and was behind Yue Hwa.
I have been to KP a few times. The first time was at 4:30 am in the morning. Shortly after entering, the police came in. This was interesting. Never experienced this before. Showed them our ID cards and answered a couple of questions, and that was it. Made sure we forgot how to speak Cantonese and as they were not well versed in English, left us alone. After that experience, we lost all our desires, and wanted to exit. I guess this was an everyday occurence for the keeper who seemed perplexed as to why we were leaving. He wasn't too happy about it, but let us leave.
The second time I went there, the girl that they first sent me did not look like she was in a good mood - kept telling me that I didn't like her and that I would not have fun with her. Reminded me of Obi One Kanobi - not the looks, but the fact that she could convince me that I was saying these words.

They are opeing 24 hr a day , but they have the most and best girl after 4pm

JJ's in the HYATT reopened last night. This place closed three years ago when SARS hit. It is hand down the nicest hotel bar in HK. The band plays blues (ala Stevie Ray and R&B ala James Brown and Prince). To early to see what the P4P turn out will be here, but it is a great place to take your date. It beats all the Filipino cover bars hands down.
PS There is no dance floor but a new Thai restaurant.

I was in HK right after CNY for two nights and I wanted to add my feedback. I started off by hunting down the New Paris. There were two places in the phone book that had "Paris" in the name, one is Karoke, I forget what the other one was called. The one you want is in the Hilton tower on Chatham. Got there and it was exactly as described, they asked if it was my first time, then introduced me to a mamasan who proceeded to give me the run down on how things worked. But first she wanted a 100 HKD tip for herself. We talk a bit and I tell her what I am looking for, she leaves and brings back a girl who doesn't match my request but I sat with her. We couldn't talk to each other and she seemed really bored so watched TV until mamasan comes back. I tell her no, but she tries to really sell the girl. I still said no so she starts pushing for a 200 HKD tip for the girl. Again, I said no, we ended up at 100HKD. OK, that one leaves and another comes in. This one was better but still not what I wanted and she was not really happy, may be it was just a bad night. When my hour was up I paid the rest of the bill (beers), mamasan again pushed for a tip for herself and I left saying I was tired.
Went to Jordan Street and walked around looking for K-Pressure but did not find it, more later. Ended up in a night club in the same building as the Cyber Sauna. Mamasan finds me a girl and then wants to play dice with me. We dice and drink a lot of beer. I like the girl and I ask her if she wants to go out. She asked where and I said my hotel. Well she was just there to drink and make company, nothing more (even for more $$). OK, call the night a bust and head to the hotel for sleep.
Next day I got up late and went looking for K-Pressure. Turns out it is just about where everyone said it was. The corner of Woosung and Jordan but to be more specific, it is about 5 meters up Woosung toward Nanking on the left side of the street (walking away from Jordan) there is a big sign for it above the entry but the only English character is "K". It doesn't even say Sauna in english. You walk down a white coridor and then up a flight of stairs into the place. they put you in a little room, bring you and drink then Mamasan comes in. Now I went there around 1:00 PM...

Walk up Nathan road from Salisbury and you will be offered tailor services by about 20 guys who handing out cards. There are also a number of tailors in the New World Center and on all the side streets off of Nathan Road. You can't throw a rock in that without hitting one. If you pick up one of the tourist maps or city guides at the airport or from a hotel there will be adds listing package prices. My experiences in other places is that it is always really bad material that you would not want. To get better material the price doubles at least.

Sam's is OK for suits but he is busy as he is more of a celebrity. Quality is more dependent on who he gets in the workshop to actually make your suit. It is worth a visit to just meet the guy. But don't buy shirts there as I and others have found them not to be as good.

When I did it elsewhere. I got flamed for it.
Anyway this forum is full of men. And we can't always be mongering. Anyway remember with suits. It's all about the material. The workmanship is not so expensive. The material is. Remember when choosing to buy worsted material. That's the material that when you bunch it up. It doesn't get wrinkled. I guess when you travel you know how important this is. Of course lightness of teh material is also very important.
Remember to ask where the material is from. There are the european or even chinese materials. But I always like it to be Italian fabric or english. I don't like the chinese fabrics.
I made my suits at sam's because of his reputation and my experience is about so-so. Tailored suits will always look good on you, but his cuts is not exactly comparable to my italian suit. Also the detailing on the suit was not really outstanding. Buttons at the cuffs, stitching etc. Again it misses the extra touches to make it really look special. Also I made the mistake with material. My choice was not of the worsted kind. Gets wrinkled really quick.
On the otherhand. I have not a problem with workmanship or the way it fits. That's all good. In matter of fact I got lucky with my sportsjacket. It's my best one by far. Great looking material. And perfectly cut. Got plenty of comments about it from friends and local clothingshops.
Anyway I suggest when you shop to be really critical about everything and basically have an idea what you want. Just because he's famous. Doesn't mean he's also great. Maybe once you build a relationship it's got to be better.
There's another famous tailor in that area. But I seem to have forgotten the name. It's a big shop I think on granville road? ! ? I remember that they have excellent choice of material.
But I should have gone to our traditional tailor at the Mandarin Oriental. This is where we normally go. Price is a bit higher, but the quality is just topnotch.
About the shirts. There's so many materials available. I don't know what to choose. I must say that the cut and material from my shirt at sam's was not that great. Basically it sucks.
Anyway last thing remember to take your time. Minimum 2 fittings. 3 is even better. And with sam. He ships it to you free of charge anywhere in the world.
I have been buying from David for more than 8 years. He has a small shop on the corner of Chatham and the road next to the Holiday Inn on Nathan. I think it is Hanoi but I am not positive.
If you walk up Chatham from Salisbury, you will see a 7-11 on the right hand side. Turn right at the 7-11 and walk about 30 feet. David is on the left.
I still have the shirts I bought on my first trip in '94. In '96 he made me a beautiful silk tuxedo with pants - one in blaack and one in White. I still wear both and they have not lost their shape or style.
In '00 I bought 4 suits and 2 silk blazers - All are still in very good condition and hold their shape.
He made me a couple of other suits in '03 and '05. Because he has all my details on file, I can email and have hime make whatever I want.
If I need shirts and I am not going to be in HK, I simply email him and tell him what I want. He has my measurements on file and the shirts arrrive in the US within 2 weeks.

Earlier this week, wanted to try Ocean Dragon Sauna in Causeway Bay. They were closed for refurbishment, but took me to the nearby Ocean King.

The 141 girls are located in virtually every section of Hong Kong. That is the beauty of the website, convenience and location. Tsim sha tsui is a good area to stay in kowloon , Many hotel 3-4 star in this
area near star ferry 10 min to wan chai , or take mtr subway is very fast and
easy every thing in english , if you do not know wan chai is easy to write down the adress of the buliding any cab driver can drop you off at the door

I got into HK at 6:30AM. I checked into my hotel at 7:30 AM. I stayed in a small hotel on Nathan Rd, just north of Jordan. After cleaning up I cross the street and see what is hangking out at 8:30 in the morning. Not much, there are a few girls about but bot the type I am looking for. Tine for breakfast. Because of the MTR (subway) in Hong Kong, no place in Hong Kong is ever more than 15-20 minutes away as long as your destination/origin are in Hong Kong Island or Kowloon and it is near the MTR station.
As for hotels, it depends on your budget. If you want to spend over $100 USD a night, go to http://www.travelocity.com and find something. If you want to spend less than $10 USD a night, then "the mansions" is the way to go. I'm talking about Mirador Mansions and Chungking Mansions. Just be aware that you get what you pay for. A "room" in "the mansions" sometimes is nothing more than a cubicle that has just enough space for your bed. The "bathroom" is a toilet with a sink on top and a shower head on top of that. You have to take a shower seated on the toilet in a hunched over position to avoid hitting your head on the sink above you. "Bathrooms" are often so small that you have to take a dump seated sideways to avoid hitting your knees on the wall. The scene at the Wanchai bars are pretty simple.
Just walk up to any girl and start talking. If she seems OK you can buy her a drink. 99% of the time she will want a "ladies drink", probably a fake marguritta that costs $20-30 HK more than your beer from which the girl gets a commission. The routine from here is whatever you like since she is now in your employ so to speak. Talk to her, dance with her or just ask her to go back to your hotel. No need to be indirect. If you get on very well she might give you a reasonable price first off. Most likely she will pitch a little high.
If she knows you are a short time visitor the price will be pitched higher.
Simply counter with an amount 20% under what you want to pay and then agree on the comprimise.
The price will vary depending on demand, check out the girl to guy ratio.
Friday & Saturday the price will be higher.
If you are staying Kowloon side she might add a premium if you are not taking her all night depending on if she will have time for another customer.
Price will also depend on where she is from.
Caucasian will be most expensive.
Chinese next, then Mongolian & Thai with Filapino usually cheapest. YMMV
Make sure you negotiate the time as well.
Anywhere between 600 and 1000 for ST. A stunner on a busy night might not go under $1200
LT is not be much more depending on the girl and the time.

Actually I don't know as I always stay on Island side. However it is probably an hour round trip with a bit of stuffing around. If the MTR is closed (1am) she will want a taxi back, rounded up that will be $100.
Some girls will only try for one customer per night, others will go for volume. The high turnover girls will not want to go KL side.
The girls will definitely ask you where you are staying and they factor this in to the asking price. If you go LT or with a one customer per night girl then Kowloon side should not matter so much.

First of. In terms of trendy bars, I only have Dragon I I can recomend, very cool normal lounge place, with lots of mid 20s up to 40s hanging out. Do check it out (it´s not a hook place though)
For P4S, I recomend you to get over to lockhart road where the girls litteraly drag you into the nightclubs, check the forum for the way to do this. And what places are hot but the one i´v heard most about is fenwicks.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate failures in Tokyo. Hong Kong is far better for some pooning alone or with friends. If they are looking for civilian girls then definately hit up Lan Kwai Fong area in Central. Open bars and clubs that allow you to roam and hunt the scene pretty freely. If you want some easier hunting then go to Jaffe Road in Wan Chai. Depending on the Day of the week you can continue by Seair to Caticlan from Clark. Or Clark-Manila-Caticlan (Boracay).
You might have to spend a night in Angeles, since the flight to Manila is at 9am.
I am not sure about the direct flights days' schedules. Check Seair in google.
The price is around 3800 pesos one way.

Spot on. Fenwick's is the best for female companionship. It is a little more expensive, especially if you don't like to haggle and go with the first price offered. I settled for 1,000 all night (4 pops). I've seen others on the board getting it for 700.

Fenwick's is a bar located on Fenwick Str and Lockhart St underneath Pacific Coffee.

(As for the local tickets I believe what you heard was in reference to Friday where since lots of people do not show up that day they had some ticket sale for local school children to go).
With all the expat tourists in town Wan Chai and Lan Kwai Fong were backed to the brim with gwelios.
