This guy is a classic, He has been a member on the board since 10/04 with one post, in which he ask's how a USA citizen can get into Cuba.

I guess no one answered him cause now he wants to come to Lima. After I responded to him to RTFF he PM's me again asking "where can I rent a cellphone".

I am going to write him back to see how long it takes him to RTFF instead of
just looking at pictures and bothering others. Sorry guy's just on a rant here.
Other guy's have asked for info come down here and then never shared 1 report on this board.

down at the "Old Pub" on Calle Pizzas. I hate this place, and a few posters have referred to it as the "English Pub" because that was the name of Mike(the owner,s) last bar off Pardo cuadra 2. The "English Pub" is now owned by Mike's peruvian ex-wife and is definetly the better place to meet semi-pros. Be forewarned, every miner in S.A knows this place and the guy/girl ratio is completly reversed.

Last time I was there it was 5 guys/1 girl just like home in N.Y.C.

Thanks for the tip on this place. Enjoyed the experience very much. In fact, returned the next day for another massage. Went both times during the day, around 2-4 p.m. "Came" outta there feeling brand new both times.

I loved this place. Maybe a 7-10 minute taxi jaunt (5-7 soles, prob. negotiable). Several Peruvian mongers seemed to be more comfortable just hanging out with the girls in the lounges than going for actual services upstairs. There is a very limited bar there. Eucalyptis is the common scent throughout the 3 story building. Kinda set-up like a natural body spa. Very clean and relaxing.

The girls are extremely friendly and cool to hang out. There are usually 12 girls on site (ranging from 5-8 in looks, and 7-8 in personality). Made some cool friends there. I would return to try some of the other options. They were all more than friendly.

Sunday, I chose Deborah (20 yo, about a 6.5 in looks - cute face, 6 in body - had 15-20 extra pounds from her baby but wasn't a turn-off, 8.5 in actual massage skills, 10 in performance - you guess why). Cost for Massage & Sauna - 70 soles, tipped Deborah 50 soles directly. Spent over 2 hours being serviced on-site.

Monday, made an appointment for Camila based on perutops reviews. About an 8 in looks, 7.5 in body (22 yo - I think), no kids, nice tight spinner body, only about 5' 1" or so and in shape), 7 in actual massage skills, 8 in performance. Cost for Massage & Sauna - 70 soles, tipped Camila 40 soles directly. Spend over 2 hours again being serviced.

What I highlighted below is the rule and generally true. BJs, BBBJs, HJs are part of the accepted service. Full service is definitely not done according to the dudes on perutops.

However, one of my masajistas broke the rule willingly in the sauna....over and over again during our time. In fact, she initiated it. I just wanted a good massage. Got that too. Not bragging, just fact.

Day 3 Part B.

Sauna Relax & Vida. Av. Carlos Villaran Nro. 121 in front of the Interbank in Santa Catalina.

When I was doing my initial research for Lima, this was the highest rated spa on perutops in a poll even though their was no full service. I went about 8pm and was the only dude (or so I thought) in the place with about 6 cute chicas ranging in 7 to 7.75. All the girls were under 25.

This banos turcos is set up differently. In this one you walk in and sit in a bar area fully clothed. Since I was the only guy in the place the mamasan presented me with all six chicas and four them sat down with me and seemed fascinated in my gringo ass. All chicas were sweet and were able to hold short enlightened conversation. After about 15 minutes of chatting, I made my selection out of the 4 (a solid 7.5) at the mamasans request. My chica then led me to the dressing room.

Once in the dressing room, she removed all my clothes and places a terma style robe on me. Then takes me to a private room that has a steam room, jacuzzi, and showers. The protocol is that you start in the steam room. Here the chica will give you a message (and I gave her one too). Next its off to the jacuzzi for some good times, then to the shower for cleanup. There is no full service here. I got a 1 minute bbj (much persuading), a little DFK, and hand release.

The cost here is 70 soles plus the chicas tip. The 70 soles includes the entrance fee and (I believe) 45 minute session with the girl. For hand release, perutops mentioned tips should run 30-50 soles. 100-120 soles is a bit pricey for hand job and bbj, but I enjoyed the different experience. This place had the cutest and friendliest chicas of any spa that I have visited hands down. I am not going to even mentioned what I tipped, I had a NBA Fantastic time and pulled a phone number.

This will be my last report for a little while as I am off to Cusco todo touristy stuff.

I've been to all the places that Tony mentions, many times, and I put Lima on a place I'd like to go back to. I was never told that the Troc or other low price places were great. If you're looking for nonstop sex, Lima is probably not for you.

If you want an enjoyable place to go, close to the ocean, good food, and a lot of willing and cute girls, then check out Lima.

Cartagena is safer than Cali, the most dangerous major city in Colombia right now. Since the cartels have been dismantled, there are many people desperate for money in Cali. FARC is an option for those in need of money, not just the poor and destitute. Don't fool yourself, or get blinded by the chicas.

Cali has the hottest chicas in the land. Cartagena is more gringo-friendly, but keep the vaseline near you, as you speak no Spanish. It's rip-off city for you, from everybody, not just the chicas.

But make no mistake, shorting a chica on her money in Colombia can have very bad consequences, on her period or not. The GFE in Colombia is great, but they are doing it for the money. Reneg on the deal and your safety may be on the line. Food for thought.

Colombian brothels are generally more expensive than Lima, and about the same in cleanliness. Again, your no-Spanish situation leaves you in a jam. The danger lies in getting to/from them safely and cheaply. Bring your own condoms, even towels if that's an issue for you. Forget about hot water. There are many Colombian brothels in the same hygenic boat as the Troc and Cucardas. If that's your issue, just go to the higher end spots in Lima, Cali, Cartagena, Bogota, or wherever.

Emmanuel/Suites of Barranco in Lima is probably the same cost, probably less, than Pleyboy's in Cartagena or Flores Fresca in Cali. Talent-wise, the chicas are hotter in Pleyboy than Emmanuel, but performance's vary. Spanish needed.

Also in CTG, don't blame the LDV girls for taking advantage of you with higher prices. They're good girls, but not stupid. When they see a sucker, they dig in. I applaud them and cheer them on. It's actually funny. You'll probably end up with quotes at COP$200.000/hour (approx. $80/hour), and the chicas won't budge. Most dudes who know enough to learn some of the language will pay much less. And in Colombia, negotiating a lower price doesn't translate into a lower performance or attitude. Wow! Nice to see the Lima section is going off. Tony, do us all a favor and put the flame torch out! Your trip reminds me of my first trip to Lima.

I would have been in the same boat as you if I didn't give Lima a 2nd chance. My first visit completely sucked. My Spanish skills were terrible so finding and communicating with pro's was extremely difficult. I think I paid 15us for the cab ride from the airport to Miraflores. Paid 4 Star price for a 2 Star hotel. Some chica slipped me a "Mickey" at Tequila, and another dude made off with 100us of my money. White trash dude whom I thought I could trust since he was English. Said he could exchange my money for me. It was exchanged all right from my hand to his, and I never saw his ass again.

Thank god I stumbled onto this site and hooked up with dudes like Nibu and Screwed up. David33 has always been nails when I had questions about the city. I still fuck up and make stupid decisions when I'm in Lima. When I take a moment to reflect back on the situation, I always realize it's nobodies fault but my own.

I know your down on Lima but you shouldn't base your opinions on one trip. Take a couple of months to read the board, brush up on your Spanish, catch a cheap flight maybe in Sept. or Oct, and give it another shot.

Lima is much different than the typical high traffic monger destinations like BA/Rio/CR/Asian scene, but that's the beauty of it. Your not going to find stunners around every corner. I like Lima because it's easy to meet a chica at an MP or Strip club and hook up with them outside their work. Most of the so called pro's are very naive with regards to the sex profession. You show these girls a good time taking them to an inexpensive dinner or a movie, AND THEY WILL FUCK YOUR BRAINS OUT!!!! Even places like Tequila renowned for hardcore pro's, it's possible to have incredible sessions for under 40us. Trust me, the chica experiences get better as you start to network yourself in the various establishments you solicit.

To TonyUSA, don't feel bad, you got laid. Heck in my 2weeks in Lima, I didn't get laid, pro or nonpro. That's how bad it was. Maybe Jackson should revoke my WSG membership for that failure. LOL.

But, I still love lima, as David mention, the non-pro are very-very-sweet. I got sick for 4 days of my trip, and one of my non-pros brought chicken soup over to the hotel. Then i had the hotel receptionist, slip me I note expressing her affection for me and hopping i get better.

Knowing spanish is critical to scoring w/ non-pros & negoiting w pros for good service, especially in lima. I had less problems scoring in COL, even w/ my handicap in spanish. Because, the in COL pro scene is much developed(ie, more of them) that Lima. In lima there's is chino restaurant on every corner, in COL there's a casa on every corner. LOL.

To TonyUSA, I recommend learning spanish ASAP, it's very easy to learn basic. Heck you can even take a spanish course at the university in Lima(ICPNA?) it think is the name. It's $100USD/mo for 5 days 4-5 hrs/day.

I am back after a flying visit to Peru. I did try posting while I was there, but something chewed up my post, so I decided not to risk it.
I am afraid my introduction to Lima mongering was very limited because of time and tiredness, but David saved the day for me. He introduced me to two ladies, J and M, and I stuck with them the rest of my few days there.
J showed up the morning after I arrived - average looks I'd say, though some may give her a higher score - and a great attitude. When we were finished we went out for a walk and she took me to LarcoMar, this being my first day in Lima. We had a wonderful Peruvian lunch overlooking the ocean and parted good friends. She had limited knowledge of English, but enough to get by. The damage was $55.
The next day M showed up, again thanks to David, younger, prettier, but no knowledge of English. Same story - excellent eager-to-please attitude. We went out for lunch later - this time to a Chifa on Pizza Alley. My introduction to a chifa and it had surprisingly good food. M did not know any English, but it is surprising how much we can communicate given the willingness, a few words and lots of gestures, and I ended up knowing quite a bit about her.
Then it was my turn to play tourist guide - she had never been to LarcoMar, and I proudly showed her the place. Damage was $60.
The price was a little surprising to me - I thought it on the high side, given Peru's level of economic development, but David assured me it was the going price. I suppose the reason is that cost of goods and services is determined more by supply and demand then the economic environment.
I did not have the time or inclination to explore other mongering avenues. I did go to Pizza Alley several times to eat, but did not notice anything particularly significant - saw no likely candidates. Maybe it was too early or something.
In Cusco I was entirely occupied by tourism and had no time for anything, though I did meet some wonderful gringa there.
When I got back to Lima, tired as a dog, I repeated the process with M and J, and then it was time to go. Both girls seemed to like me. I was surprised at how responsive they were, both sexually and otherwise, and we parted with email addresses and promises to write. As a parting gift, I gave a large package of Twix to M, for her 4-year-old brother and promised to send J some pictures.
I stayed at the Maria Luisa, which has an excellent location. In other respects it is basic, but adequate and would stay there again. No problems with girls visiting, though receptionists do keep ID or a cell phone or something. I have no problem with that.
Jaimito wrote some comprehensive reports recently, so I dont need to go into that.
Even with the limited exposure I had to Lima's scene, I can say it is no Pattaya, which should be obvious to anyone who has read the board. But Peru has lots of other things to offer, and people should consider whatever mongering opportunities exist as icing on the cake. I doubt that I will go to Peru again just for mongering. But I will go for its other beauties, and be grateful for mongering opportunities.

I live in Lima now and naturally do not like to see my adopted city bashed.
That being said, Alot of mongers have made comments about the prices for hotels,food,drink and Chicas here in Lima.

While Peru is a 3rd world country, Lima is not by any means a cheap city to visit or live.

The 2004 Mercer report might put things into perspective.
They do a annual ranking of world cities cost of living index. This is based on a multitude of factors "Chicas not bieng one of them". N.Y.C is the baseline for comparison at 100 and Tokyo the highest at 143.

Based on this report which was conducted in march 2004, Lima is the most expensive major city in Latin America. As a point of reference I will list some of the others.

Interestingly Ascuncion, Paraguay is the Lowest scoring in the world at 43.

The lowest COL in the U.S.A. is Pittsburgh at 69.

Based on this report $200/hr. NYC pussy would cost the following in
Pittsburgh $138 (can anyone confirm this?)
Lima $128 (don't bring this to Tequilas)

I was surprised at chica prices because of the general level of wages in Peru. But if you read my report, I did suggest why it could be higher there (supply and demand). From what I gathered, US 150 a month is a pretty common wage, teachers make in the region of US 300 and up. A tour guide told me that many professionals have to drive taxis at night for extra income - when I asked her to define professionals, she said even doctors were included in that.
Cucardas girls charge about 50 soles a bash, is that right? (I havent been there, but that is what a taxi driver told me.) And Jaimito reported that he was able to pick up a couple of girls for some 150 soles for both.
My surprise was based on all this information. I wasn't bashing anyone, and I came away from the experience a happier and richer person for having known those girls. And if I am in Peru again I will pay those prices again.

please in no way take it as bashing you. i was bored and just making observations. you are right as far as wages are concerned for the average person and lima has the highest number of taxista's with phd's . as i stated or tried to state, lima is not perfect by a long shot and more importantly i wanted to convey to others it is the highest priced city in latin america. also i guess i should mention it is not monger heaven.

that being said there is a small but growing gringo poulation down here that feels this is there own little slice of heaven!

alot of older guys have come down here married and stayed, alot have come down here to play and stayed. living in miraflores is like living in a cocoon.

Lima's an easy spot to monger, if you do your research ahead of time. In fact, I went down there to monger between my trips to Colombia. It's replaced the DR as my favorite short-time spot to monger.

Sidhartha - Cucardas chicas charge 30 soles for 30 mins until 6 p.m., and 40 soles for 30 mins after 6:00 p.m. You can upgrade for 10 soles if you want anal, if the chica is offering it. That varies. Again, I've never had a bad experience there. My chicas never did the clock-watching routine, but I do understand that it does happen. Or that a couple of the chicas are bad performers. They list them on perutops.com.

Lima Busy- I challenge your pussy listings regarding Lima being more expensive than Rio or Bogota. That scale is mega-flawed. I also was *helped* by reading the forum for weeks before I came to Lima. This *helped* me not to make too many stupid mistakes.

I was in a similar position as you were a week before you came. I had never been there before. My first night was pretty sucky as things go, but ended up okay.

Without David's help, I would have still rated Lima as a very nice place. It's a relaxing place to go, there are number of places to go and find chicas. Cheap places, moderate places and expensive places. I reported pretty thoroughly about the ones I saw, including some pictures. I only recall some so-so reports, and then the last three weeks of bitching from you.

David was quite courteous when I was there, and I appreciated him putting me in touch with the girls. They were the real icing on the cake. I knew what I was paying before they came, and other than a little tip, that's what they got.

The only way that the WSG will work is if guys cooperate with each other. I have gotten the best recommendations from other members on 3 different continents. And you have to treat the ladies right. If there was a problem with the girl, it could have been laid to rest weeks ago.

Tony, even assuming that David and Lima Busy are getting a cut from the girls, what you should be concerned with is what you pay. You are getting a service and you have to pay for it, and you decide whether you want it or not.
However, David did mention that he does not get any money from the deal, and there is no reason for me not to believe him. They may get some preferential treatment, but that is the way the world works.

Peruvian food is indeed wonderful. I have had a taste of it in the US, and I am going to dedicate some more time to it. I did not even go to the most recommended places, but enjoyed myself. The restaurant in LarcoMar overlooking the ocean had superb dishes, and we had a soup and trout in Agua Calientes that was incredible. The soup especially - a simple vegetable soup - was awesome. What I did not try was ceviche - the reason is I was almost always on the move and I did not want to risk any stomach problems.

While I agree the food here is amazing, I think we should invite GenghisKhan down here from the Brazil forum to rate the restaurants. I am not a big fish lover but in my experience Ceviche Corvina(sea bass) is the best on the coast and inland there is a Ceviche made with river trout that I hear is amazing!

On the whole the restuarants in Larco Mar are overpriced and not very good.
Vivaldino's is good,reasonable, great view and one of the best carpaccio's in Lima. The Argentine restuarant is pricey/smokey and no view. Sushi place sucks. Mangos has a great view,good cocktails and the food is ok.

I am sure the worker bees who compile the info shop in Jockey Plaza and have never been to Polvos Azules. As a point of reference a bottle of Jack Daniels in Wongs is 95 soles and only 48 soles in polvos.

The short answer would be NO! Think I posted before in the living in Peru section, so I will recap here. A 1 bedroom furnished apt goes between $300-400 a month in Miraflores, $600-700 oceanfront. Areas like San Miguel,La Perla so forth are less. You could eat menu everyday for lunch for $2.15, a haircut is $3.75, cable is $35 a month/$70 with internet. Electric might be $50 a month. Dinner for 2 in a Cafe Haiti might run $15-18. Generally drinks like whiskey are $5.25. A twice a week cleaning lady is about $75 a month.
Pussy is free in Lima if you live here,JA JA.
I know guys that live on less, but $1500-$2000 is more the norm.
If you plan on LT you can buy a nice apt for 30-40,000. Oceanfront is $100 a sq/ft. I just bought a duplex penthouse with a 180 view of the city and ocean for about $80/sqft.

Visa's
If you are here as a tourist, you have 90 day's. They allow you to renew for a additional 90 days for a cost of about $60. After 180 days you must cross a border and they will start you fresh with another 90 days.
If you have a guaranteed pension/ss or other for I think 1,000/mth you can get a visa rentista, which I believe is good for 5 years. Alot of guys in SA wish to remain outside the system so they do the tourist visa there whole lives.

There must also be a huge difference between costs in Cusco and Lima. Someone I met there said she lived very comfortably on about US 600 a month. An unfurnished one-bedroom apartment can be had there for US 80 a month.
At those prices, I guess Lima is not a candidate if someone wants to take a year or so off. Pattaya can be done at less than US 1000 a month, and my guess is that most places in S. America can be also.

Unfortunately there is not much of a ST market here for apts. At this point Lima is not a destination city like BA or Rio. Lima is a gateway to all Peru has to offer. The biggest market here is for teachers and people working for NGO's who typically come for 6 mos-1 year.There are a large number of hotels and hostals here starting at $10 a nite. That being said there are a number of aparthotels here for ST. In the past I stayed at a great little place in San Isidro called Perustar for about $200 per week. I also have a friend who rents out two studios on Ovalo Gutieriz in Miraflores for about $400 a month.

I currently have plans to build a high end loft apartment on the 16th floor of a new building on Malecon Balta. It will be about a 1,000 sq ft. with a roof top terrace, jacuzzi/hotub, ocean & city views and will rent for between 50-75 a night. Obviously discounted for longer stays. For those of you not familiar it is in front of Club Las Terrazas, 3 blocks from Calle Pizza's,Tequilas and the Pacific. Probably will be ready next summer.

IMHO, the types of places mentioned by John Sperm are not a good idea for someone who speaks little or no Spanish and doesn't know his way around Lima. They are fine if you've got someone who lives here going with you, but if you want to strike out on your own, you could wind up in an uncomfortable situation. Some more info about the places we went to last night.

I wanted to let you south american travelers know about a great resource here in Lima. The South American Explorers Club. I moved into a new apartment about a week ago and do not have cable yet, so I have been working all week from the clubhouse here in Lima which is a old Mansion.

It is located just off Ave Ariquippa on Piura about 3 blocks from the ovalo in Miraflores. If you are a member ($50/year) you can rent a room here for 150 a month. You can store luggage/cash here for up to a year, They have wifi access for your laptop and a laptop you can use if you do not have one.
They also provide mail drop service for you if you do not have a permanent address here. There are also clubhouses in Cuzco,Quito and a new one soon in BA.

If you need to work they have a quiet lounge on the second floor that you can use as a office.
During the day alot of foriegn tourists stop by and it is a good way to meet alot of interesting tourists. I have met some really great chicas from Denmark and New Zealand here and it is fairly easy to pick them up as it is such a laid back place.

They have a Library of trip reports and maps for SA and also have a bulletin board to announce SA travel warnings about robberies/kidnappings and so on.

Although I'm generally a very value orientated monger, I was surprised at this LAN sale from Los Angeles. I checked the fares from Lima-LAX, and they seemed double.

This is pricing just $300 more than many coach tickets, and I hear that LAN Biz class is very nice. Plus you can credit it to your American Airlines account. If you do a Platinum challenge (Must sign up before you do it), you could get AA Plat status easily on this trip.

I will be arriving in Lima on 8/11. I will be there until 9/13.

Can anyone recommend for me a nice girl friendly hotel or apartment there? I am looking to spend a maximum of $70 per night, but I would prefer something in the $40 to $50 range. Two things that are important to me are a safe in the room and the ability to hook up my lap top to the Internet in the room.

Also, I am probably going to rent a car at the airport for the month when I arrive. Can anyone tell me about how much this will cost me there? I just spent a week in Santa Cruz in Bolivia, and there were no car rental places at the airport, and even the few places in town were ridiculously high priced for some 5 to 8 year old cars? I was also in Brazil for 2 months before Bolivia, and there I was able to rent vehicles for about half of what I paid in Bolivia.

Anyway, is the car rental scene in Lima more reasonable like Brazil, or is it more ridiculously priced like in Bolivia?

Also, what is the temperature usually like there in August?

Any help in these areas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any good suggestions for housing in Peru, but if you read some of the earlier posts here you'll find plenty of information on recent rentals and the cost / type of accomodation.

As for renting a car in Peru, my own comment would be don't! I live here and either use my chauffeur / driver / "motorista" or take a cab. I only drive when I have to - it's early in the morning before my driver arrives - or it's late at night (after my driver has left) and I'm not planning on drinking.

Most cabs go from 3 to 7 soles. Your ride from the airport would be the most expensive, 15 soles for an "unlicensed" cab to as much as 15-20 dollars for one of the "licensed", more secure ones.

3.28 soles to the dollar - a cab in the Miraflores / Tequila Rocks area would cost between 1 and 2 dollars (USD).

If your plans are to see other areas of Peru, a car rental will run you at least $140.00 a week (this was my cost from Avis two years ago), and to get to Cusco or Chiclayo your talking at least 12 hours drive with roads that are difficult and at times dangerous. Round trip airfare to other Peruvian cities would be more cost/time effective versus driving.

You may want to try "cabbing" for a few days to get the feel of Lima, then make a decision regarding a car rental. Maybe a weekend rental or a few days during the week to visit areas near/around Lima.

Again, this is only my opinion, others may want to give additional advice.

Do not try to rent a car here, all that flying ace says is true. The cost benefit is way out of line. The car rentals are very expensive and the drivers here are insane. Take an independant cab when you arrive at the airport. Walk to the left out of customs and you'll see a bunch of white station wagons. Don't pay more that $6 or $7 to Miraflores. Don't change your money in the airport. Wait till the next day and change with the money changers in Miraflores or San Isidro. As far as where to stay, I suggest you RTFF.

Just some additional thoughts and advice. Three times I rented a car using travelocity at a very affordable rate. Each time I arrived at the airport they did not have any knowledge of my reservation and always ended up spending more. Most of the smaller hotels here do not have secure parking and a lot will charge you 1-2 soles per hour.

I would recomend renting on the weekends if you are planning on travelling locally, if you are staying in Miraflores there are major rental agencys on I think Catuaranis (sp) about three blocks south of Larco and airport return is permissible.

That bieng said it is winter here now and no point driving to the beaches or Paracas unless you want to go sandboarding/4x4/rafting. This time of year most people go to Chosica for the weekends, however it is more of a family thing.

Weather: Last week was beautiful sunny spring weather here 70-75. This week it is the complete opposite 55-60 mist in the morning and fog all afternoon. So giving you advice on the climate is akin to predicting the weather.

Hotels: For a months stay you might want to check out Perustar apts in San Isidro about 800 a month. They have internet in the room and some rooms offer a safe. There is also inside secure parking if you do have a car.

I can also reccomend The Hotel Nido on Calle Porta in Miraflores. It is about 2 blocks from park Kennedy and is a brand new botique hotel. Rooms are 45 per night with internet in the room and they have a safe downstairs.

Most smaller hotels in your price range do not have in room internet or safes.

If it was next year I could help you out more as I am putting together a property management company here with great oceanview apts for 50-70 per night.

i was in k11 the sat. morning hours before the sat. afternoon giant bust like a year and a half ago. was in pp last march...didn't like it much this time.

anyway i mentioned the trocadero (which is talked about on other pages of the forum, also referred to as the "troc") because it is a pretty down and out place....mostly for locals and very cheap. about 100-150 girls to choose from all shapes and sizes. different from k11 in that it is a legal brothel and obviously no problems with **** situations. best to go there with someone who lives here. about $4 to get in and $6-$7 st once you're in. more for longer service or anal, etc.

I looked at buying apart 2 and it was a real shithole. The only redeeming quality is it is next to the Gay Disco "Downtown" if you swing both ways (ja ja). For $750 a month you could do alot better.

Apart 1 is in a quiet section of town about 15 min walk to Park Kennedy 3 soles cab fare. I do not know the building or apt offhand, so can not comment.

There is a place on Pardo that has short term rentals that I reccomended to another guy but I never heard from him again, which happens to be the case with most of the guys coming down here.

This does not apply to you. But it is annoying when you try to help out by providing info and then these guys never post trip reports or there expieriences with apts or hotels.

Anyway I will find the website for the apt and post it here.

I live in a very nice area called Santiago de Surco on the 3rd block of Ayacucho Street.. my house is a 4 family home i can rent it its go cable, hot water im in the process of hooking up plasma tvs all around i guess i can get 45 bucks a nite?? if anyone interested more than welcome to inquire my auntlives on the 1st floor she can cook a mean steak or anything that you fancy food is extra all you have to do is show up and enjoy the area.. since this is my home ... i dont think it would be a good idea to bring chicks cause that would bring trouble .. and besides my neighbors know me since i was 5 years old ....

I was in lima and only one guy called me to hang, do not know his name or screen name since he did not leave a message. cause I was too busy having fun as said before I would not pay more that 40 soles for a FS, I've been to club eclipse... total waste of time nice girls but too high for my blood.. I am now comfortably settled into my new home in Lima. When I arrived and got through customs it was 1:00 AM. I had a reservation for a Hertz car at $114 per week plus 19% tax. The required insurance here is $10.00 per day, so bottom line, I ended up paying $33 per day. I also got a free upgrade, so I’m pretty happy as far as the car goes.

The negative side is that you basically can’t travel on dirt roads, as they will charge you for every scratch and dent they find. In Santa Cruz, Bolivia, last week I rented a giant 4-wheel drive for 2 days at $90 a day to go to Samaipata. No normal car could have made it there. They had similar vehicles here for about 25% less than in Bolivia, but I decided the car was better and cheaper for here, especially since I plan to be in the Lima area for most of the next 30 days.

I had made no hotel reservations, so I just drove to the Mira Flores area and stopped at 2 nice hotels I drove by, but they were both 100% full. It seems like August is busy season here for them now. Anyway, it was 3:00 AM by then, and I was hungry and tired, so I go to the McDonalds at the Miraflores circle and I bump into a few guys who speak English. They had a car, and I followed them to the Hotel Las Americas, which was less than a half-mile away. I had remembered reading on the Internet about the fact that this was an apartment hotel. I get there, and they’re 100% full also at the Hotel, and their rates are about $200 per night when they do have availability now.

Anyway, I tell them I want to stay for a month, and asked about their apartments. They called there (1 block away) and had one available. So this is where I am until September 13. It’s a magnificent place. It’s $1,800 for the month, but the place has it all. It’s 2 floors and a great view from the 17th floor and there’s a balcony and an excellent free breakfast. It has just about every amenity you could ask for. Since I have a car with a card to get in to park under the building; that makes it 1000% girl friendly. Now I can just get out of my car under the building and get on the elevator. I never have to walk by the front desk or doormen, etc.

Last night, after walking around the Mira Flores area for a few hours I drove to another section of the city called Barranco. The food and ambiance were stupendous. It was 1 AM when I arrived there, but the place was hopping!

At the Miraflores Park, by the way, I had 3 different chicas approach me and asked me to let them give me a massage. One was very cute. I passed last night as I was quite tired, but I will not do the same today.

And the weather here is perfect for me now. It’s about 65 degrees almost all the time, and I love it that way!

Had my yearly 2 weeks of fun in Lima, and got to try some new places.

Previously had only played in S/Borja / Miraflores, but thanks to the info here and on perutops I found a few good places.

Malu - advertises in Trome / Keeps a hotel in Lince /19 av arequipa - 20-22 years old max / nice body / nice sized tits - for s/20 a session.

Tatiana VIP - advertises in Trome / hotel in S/Borja -25 av aviacion. Older than the ad - maybe 28-30 / s/50. Not bad, but i wouldn't recomend.

Gatitas - ad in Trome / 17 av arenales in lince / 2 ugly girls and 1 chunky chick. Went for the chunky girl for s/40. Turned out pretty good, but the rooms are a small apt seperated by blankets / thin boards - limited bathing facilities. wouldnt recomend.

I had the pleasure of staying in Lima for almost 6 weeks. First, I want to thank Lima Busy for his time. LB is truly a gentleman and a scholar. We spent almost 3 hours talking about Lima. LB is a very knowledgeable person and is more than willing to share his information.

He can tell you about a lot of things about Lima in addition to the P4P situation (as evidenced by some of his recent posts).

I went to Lima with no particular expectations. Although Peru is still very much a third world country I was pleasantly pleased with Lima. The people were very friendly and Miraflores is a very attractive area. Perhaps some of those on this board who were disappointed in Lima were expecting an equivalent to London, Munich or Singapore. Lima has a personality of its own but does not compare with favorably with large cities outside of South America.

For those of you considering a trip to Lima I will be more than glad to share my experiences or provide any specific information that I can.

I will post another report on my activities with the female gender soon. I did not participate in any P4P activities because I was completely occupied with women that I had corresponded with on the internet. If you are going to be in Lima for more than a few days I would strongly recommend trying to establish a rapport with some of the women on the internet (I used cybercupido). I recently spent about 6 weeks in Lima. Prior to going to Lima I joined cybercupido with the idea of meeting women and having a GFE. My plan was that if all else failed then I would go the P4P route.

My results were very interesting. I ended up with a final list of about 23 women that I planned to contact when I arrived. The women in Peru are very interesting and some are very aggressive as well as possessive.

I arrived in Lima about 4:30 in the morning. One of my ‘friends’ was at the airport with the driver from the hotel to greet me. However, I feel these costs were offset by their negotiating taxi rates and keeping me from over-tipping. They also knew the places to go that were not over-priced Gringo traps. Overall I must say that in my opinion a GFE is no more expensive that P4P. The downside is that you are with the same few women most of the time. For those who must have a large variety of different women this is not the way to go. However, for those of you who enjoy a degree of comfort by being with the same person more than once it can be a great experience.

Duesy, Thanks for the props, Jim and I wondered what ever happened to you. I am glad you had a good trip and did it your way. Jim is over working in South East Asia now and dying to get back here. I was reading your report and wondering if the chica from Arequippa is the one you told us about, that wanted to stay with you for a month.

It reminded me of my first trip down here. I also went the internet route to hit the ground running and was inundated with chicas. Las chicas son latinas 100x100, bajitas, pelo oscuro, muchas mestizas, muchas guapisimas, pero sobretodo increiblemente cariñosas y complacientes, muy diferentes de las españolas.
O sea que se verá a lo lejos que eres extranjero, y eso ya es un punto a favor.
Te cuento las tecnicas que usaba para ligar:
- Antes de irme de España, sin duda preparar el camino con "www.cybercupido.com". Es basico. Te apuntas (es gratis), y te vas escribiendo con los cientos de perfiles que encuentres. Las tias veras que te responden en masa, es facilisimo, y muchas incluso te pasan su telefono. I am no expert in Castillian, by any means, but does "adolescentes" necessarily mean the same as adolescents in English? Dickhead's term "young" is ambiguous and relative. In comparison to the much older women working in Spain, the guy finds the Peruanas younger. 20somethings are no problem and one can interpret his sentence as meaning 20 years and just under (which is legal).

Also, as a Spaniard he is not subject to US laws prohibiting US residents from having sex with anyone under 18 regardless of the age of consent law of the country involved (like in Spain). The age of consent site seems to argue that it is 15 in Peru, though I interpret it as 18 (seems to say if chica was at least 14 but under 18). Here is article 173 of the penal code of Peru:

" El que, mediante engaño, practica el acto sexual o otro análogo con una persona de Catorce (14) y
menor de dieciocho (18), será reprimido con pena privativa de libertad no mayor de tres años o con

It means teenager, nothing less, nothing more. As an adjective it means teenage. Same word and same meaning in French and Portuguese.

Of course, the contrary of "adolescente" is "adulto", which means of adult age. This, in turn, would imply that an "adolescente" is not of adult age ...

I dont lie if I say that I prefer young girls than older ones. For me "young girls" means girls between 18 and 25 yo. So, "adolescentes" for me means girls between 18,19,20 yo. One of the other people on this forum wrote about using an electric toothbrush instead of a vibrator for stimulation. Let me tell you that is a great idea. i was in lima a month ago and enjoyed it to the fullest. i've been working in latino america for a while - venezuela, cuba, colombia, dominican republic, etc. - and wanted to see more of the pacific side. i began by reading nearly all the stuff at disposition on this board and found the information quite interesting. since i had a two week vacations, i just bought a plane ticket and took off.

lima is a very good place for a cute foreigner in his early 30's that speaks good spanish and knows a thing or two about latinas. first, just look around: the city's full of good looking chicas ready to share a meal, a beer or simply a walk with you. if you have, let's say, not even an a but a c game, you should be able to score with some of them. for free.

my first night, i went for a cruise on the calle de las pizzas. two chicks stopped at my table and asked if they could join. sure, i said. one was very cute - long black hair, nice smile, beautiful hips - and the other some sort of a 6... we ended up spending the night together all three in my hotel room and had a good fucking session. cost of the operation: four cusquenas and one cuba libre.

You're right when you mention the beauty of colombian women as totally world class. As a matter of fact, i had a chica from Cali as a fuckfriend in Curaçao two years ago. Best sex ever, plus the girl had an idea or two about the world and introduced me to very cool people. I will never forget her.

Hell, the guy has to hire Cuban paramedics to work at mission "Barrio adentro" ("inside the barrio"), where they give treatments to the poor.

It is true that Merida has some nice mamacitas, especially if you like them white skinned or light mulatta. But my favorite is Valencia, wich is a big industrial city. I had a novia there a while ago. If you like to go out at night, you won't believe your eyes. Go to any disco in the El Vinedo sector (but avoid el centro and avenida Bolivar ) and you tell me. Shopping malls full of chicas (go to Sambil), restaurants, supermarkets. Valencia is known for producing it's share of models and miss universe, and you understand why cruising those streets.

But all in all, Venezuela is a "not so good" destination for pussy hunting. And beauty is as subjective a topic as there is.

Now, since we're on the Lima board, for you guys out there feeling poetic in the "garua", do go to Rustica to look at that hindu-dominican young waitress, and sip a cusquena or two for me.

Doesn't CO fly to Lima everyday from Newark? That's where I flew through when I went a few months ago. I see Taca and Lan in the $600-$700 range out of there (with taxes). You need to set up some fare alerts on Travelocity and look out for some sales. LAN sometimes has sales listed only on their website.

Well, we had a great turnout for our first ever Lima Monger's reunion down at the new Hooter's in Larco Mar. We had about 10 guys including David33,Screwedup,Gaugin,Surfer,FlyingAce,Duesy45 and a few of my nonISG friends. After we were there for a 1/2 hour or so, some guy comes over and sits down with us without saying a word. It turns out to be DanDaMan from Iquitos jungle fame who happened to be in town.

Well after alot of introductions, a few pitchers of beer served by the three hottest Chica's in Hooter's (consensus being that "the Barbie Benton" look alike was the hottest and friendliest) we got down to serious monger issues.

We ended the meeting with promises of future regular get togethers between us Lima regulars and any of our ISG friends who happen to be in town.

Well, I had a few beers and forgot my driving glasses and managed to loose the other group in the famous Lima rushhour traffic.

What's the weather like in november in Lima? I'm assuming it's Spring time there. Does it rain a lot and how cool does it get at nights?

I'd like to go about my business all day going here and there and retire to my place at the end of the night with a chica that I pick up and pay $20-30 max. I've read about Pizza Alley. Is there any other places to go? For instance in Havana the water shore/beach (malecon) seems to attract some honeys there. Any action by the water in Lima? Can I just pass by and find a honey on a nightly bases?

Like I said above I'm staying for two weeks and was thinking is renting an apartment for 2 weeks (for like $300) a better way to go than staying at the hotels? Is it as safe for one to rent an apartment in Lima as it is to rent a casa particular in Havana? I'm assuming the lack of security at an apartment building might not make it as safe as a hotel.

I've read here that Miraflores is the best area. Is $300 for 2 weeks attainable there? The Maria Luisa Hotel came up a lot as a good place to stay. I'm also considering that, but I like to have my own place, imo it's so much better than getting a hotel room.

I know I've asked a lot of questions, I apologize for that and I'm looking forward to read some replies.

Most of the aparthotels have security. I posted a website earlier for a pretty nice place in Miraflores. I think they were in your range.
November is nice here and since we are in the driest coastal desert in the world, you probabbly will not see rain. Night time in the desert you should always carry a light jacket it could get as low as 59-60 at night.
You do not go down to the beach here at night!!!!!!!! Also you will not find any action on the malecon day or night as that is where the rich and famous live.

If you want streetwalkers PM Nibu as he is the only one I know who frequents them! Otherwise you hire a good taxista by the hour.

If you are into sw's you probably do not want to stay in Miraflores. The scene here is meeting the regulars on the street or in one of the bars/pubs, Banos Turcos/ strip clubs/pro discos/apartments/ and our little (5 chicas) and large (300) chica chongas.

If you are talking about semi-pros versus "times square sw's", then the whole central park/Kennedy/Calle de Pizza's/Larco area is the probably the best place. Your sucess will be based on your age/looks/attitude,spanish level.

Also if you are into the obvious boa toating SW, keep a wary eye out for Roberto/roberta and friends.

Night time in the desert you should always carry a light jacket it could get as low as 59-60 at night. Weather wise, 60 ain't bad it's a great tempreture. Today, I went back to the Gamarra and San Jose Brothel. I arrived early (9:00 a.m.) and the place was already packed. Most of the doors were closed with the cuties attending customers. The girls were as cute as the last time I went (maybe cuter), and many new ones were present. Today, I had a chance to visit the San Jose Brothel (AKA San Pablo) near the Gamarra Street Market. It was the first time I was there in nearly two years and business was booming! I arrived early in the morning (about 9:30 a.m., as it is unsafe to be there after 12 noon) and was amazed at the quantity and quality of the girls. Upon entering, I climbed the staircase to the second floor and took the corridor to the right. The finest chicas seem to be in this area. On the third floor, some of the chicas were old and fagged-out, while others were newbees that didn't have their own rooms yet. The newbees hang out at the entrance way of the third floor and take you up to the four floor if you want some action with them.

Later, I checked out another brothel just around the corner (Take the first block right when heading back to Gamarra Street and you will see it on your left). There were only a few girls working, but some of them were worth while, but nothing like some of the San Pablo chicas.

All in all, this is a very unique experience and not for everybody. However, the quality of many of the girls is very high (higher quality than the Trocadero, IMHO) and this alone may justify a visit. The cost (16 soles or about US $5) is another incentive. Lastly, the atmosphere (I felt like I was in a Fellini movie) is very exotic and adds to the unique experience. On the downside, be forewarned that this is a very dangerous area.

I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone I met in Lima for their kindness and generosity. As a rule, I tend to travel entirely alone, but thanks to Surfer I was introduced to a remarkable group of men living in Lima. Some were single, some were married to a Peruivian, one was being married that weekend.

But all were really interesting people, living interesting lives, and very helpful to a non-Spanish speaking guy, kind of wandering around lost, (Laugh). I would have done okay woman-wise on my own, I think, but I would never have had the quality of experience I that I had with people taking me to all kinds of interesting venue's. It was fabulous! And very interesting, Trocaderro, Tequila Rock, Pizza Alley, and the best message I ever had in my life, thanks to David. Wow.

Life was very, very good for me in Lima thanks to all of you.

And, I must note, as much as I like going native wherever I am, having the hand of friendship from so many people was very nice. I'd do some extended reporting on Iquitos and hopefully set up a place for photo essays since I took over 700 fabulous images in my 12 days on the ground.
