I see you have nothing to do today but to answer all my complaints - LOL.

Now this old man will do what he does best - zzzzzzz

BillBill Lee,

You are the real BESTARD!. (He just invited me for a Japanese Vanilla Pudding!)

You have a really unusual life style: Hunting in the afternoon and working then all night (real work!). And I thought I built this Lodge for relaxation and leasure...:)

A week ago I had chance for a quick stop at Livingstons as I had only 5 hours left. Should I use the term "short time" here ? hehe
...In Gotheb,

Thanks for the report. You were the guy who tried to steal the key of the room after staying there only 5 hours, right? And you managed - that is the bigger wonder - to transfer it back from the airport to us, via a trustworthy taxi driver.

Thanks for that! Well done.

Towels: There are usually 2 big-sized bath towels in the rooms, of course. Something must have been wrong with the room service that day...sorry!

Thanks for the "Giotto" cookies - good idea! I will try to organize some and have them at the reception all the time...

Come back!

i won't make the mistake of not staying at your place next time i'm in bangkok. great place for a newbie like myself to hang out and hear about all the experiences of fellow mongers and try out some of the places you've found. livingstones is second to none i think as an oasis right in the middle of all the action and i remember reading somewhere that one monger thought it a little too far from soi cowboy etc.. its an easy walk, there's loads of action nearby and the swimming pool and bar makes leaving almost unnecessary unless you're a fool like me and you booked somewhere else instead. i was in an airconditioned box with all the atmosphere of macdonalds. i ended up becoming livingstone's very own klingon, even having breakfast at your place.

i have heard that the news about ossie indo's inabilty to drink jd has got around and there's been a collapse in their share price. many city investers are banking on a full and speedy recovery!

and to all the other mongers who gave me their tips and advice - many thanks! and to giotto, you are clearly selfless martyr who researches countless venus for us newbies and posts - i bet all those sessions have become one of lifes greatest chores for you!

I hope, occupancy permitting, to enjoy the amenities of your well referred establishment next month. Hopefully you'll have the executive suite open! Just one question, is it alright to ask for you by the name 'Giotto' when I arrive? I did not want to make any assumptions, although it seems as though everything is pretty casual.

This will be my first time in Thailand, so it is nice to know that there is a safe home base for us in Bangkok!

Just give me a little time to collect my thoughts on her.

BTW, the last night with the Nana girl was great. She was a willing participant in my last act of manhood before leaving BKK.

I also took her out to dinner at your place before heading upstair. We had Shrimp Cocktail at your place which turned out to be a shrimp salad instead. You have to tell your menu planner that a shrimp cocktail is a shrimp cocktail served with large shrimps with ice and cocktail sauce and not a shrimp salad with thousand island dressing all tossed together. Even Ning agreed that the dish was incorrectly named by your menu planner.

Just the same, great time was had by me. Will return to your place again and again. Your place actually is very convenient to many of the places I went to, Posiedon, Angel, Nana and Soi Cowboy. Cabs are cheap and public transits - couple of minutes of walking.

For instance, four repeats of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Stones got me from Livingstone's to Nana Plaza through a brisk walk.

You can't be convenient to one place and expect the same for other places you want to go. I would say that your place is a good middle ground and your area is quite busy with other options.

A satisfied first time customer of Livingstone's,
Bill

Now in Singapore Airport, on the way to HK and onward to China

"The Japanese stores are located in Soi 33/1, during the daytime directly reachable via a shortcut of the parking lots. 2 min. to walk. The shortcut is closed after 8 pm."

The parking lot located directly across from your place or further toward the main road?

For next time,
BillBill Lee,

You leave Livingstone's, cross Soi 33, walk towards the Office Bar. There is a parking lot, at the end a small walk through - and another parking lot of the Fuji Supermarket of Soi 33/1 .

And then you already reach all the Japanese stores.

Bill Lee,

Oh, good!!! I had the same complaint when I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail last time. They prepared it the Thai way and hung the shrimps over the rim of the cocktail glass... It looked nice, but I hated it.

But obviously you got a different version of it - another "artist" chef who prepared it?

OK, I order one tonight, let's wait for the outcome.

"hung the shrimps over the rim of the cocktail glass... "

I thought that this is the universal way of preparing cocktail shrimps at least in the U.S. I don't know about Europeans or Asian. But go to any hotel bar and a shrimp cocktail is the same throughout the world. But I'm guessing cause I haven't been to all those bars yet.

But you know what, I didn't read your menu when the order was placed. Ning and the Nana girl spoke about the shrimp cocktail. So if your menu describes the different way your shrimp cocktail was prepared. Then I can't fault you for a different version of a shrimp cocktail.

A sex board that discusses shrimp cocktails. This is weird.

Later,
Bill

Bill Lee,

The universal way ... in the U.S. ... is something what we all know too well.

And it is absolutely correct, that a sex board is THE ONLY REASONABLE place to discuss problems like this, without getting too serious :).

sometimes i should write here a little bit about what's going on in the lodge, and in my daily life. and then i think whether that is really of interest for anybody...

anyway - let's give it a try.

approx. 10 days ago a customer walks in, directly to the bar, and buys a girl some drinks. then - he ask for the boss.

i go there, introduce myself. a series of questions follow: how long you have that business, how many rooms, what room rates, which area of the business is most profitable, how is the legal company structure organized, how many shareholders ... wait a minute, what? do i have any idea how many shareholders the company has? and if i had - would i tell that to somebody just walking in and drinking a beer with me? suddenly - i decide to be very busy.

a few days later another guy walks in - and does not invite a girl for a drink. he ask for the boss. a series of questions follow: how long you have that business, how many rooms, what room rates, which area of the business is most profitable, how is the legal company structure organized, how many shareholders ... one moment please, i know those questions! i look at him and decide to be very tired...have to go sleep now.

then i walk around yesterday in the road, drink a beer here and there, and - there they are sitting together, both of them, in a bar close to livingstone's. a third guy joins them - the owner of the bar!

hmmm...that makes me think. what the hell ... do i know.

---

business is quiet in the road - but not in livingstone's lodge. customers coming all day. today in the morning, 10:30. i just come down, still sleeping, i only want a coffee. it was damned late yesterday... --- young guy from new zealand walks in: "can i watch the ashes here?" the ashes!!! there are strange people out there!

i am the real cricket specialist (no idea why somebody can have fun watching this "test" 8 hours a day, for 5 days). i simply don't understand this sports (lack of brain cells).

"yes, sure!". i am a prostitute, i do everything for a customer.

opening the sports lounge, switching on the tv, supersports channel 2, the cricket channel, here we go.

"there are so many rugby/cricket bars in the road, they will show it for sure!" i ask him, an attempt to escape...

"no, not open, too early"! the statement of the customer.

ok, i finish my coffee and read the newpaper - and i see the future of the sports lounge, virtually popping up in front of my eyes: livingstone's sports lounge, the cricket club in bangkok. i once was invited to the cricket club in singapore, no mobiles!

i decide to take the chance, there is this only customer in the bar, and he can explain the damned cricket rules to me!

i completely bother him for 2 hours. and i understand - (half) of it! i watched cricket, for approx. 2 hours (really interesting with explanations) and 2 minutes (i lost 2 minutes of my life).

damned, who created that sports? that guy is worse than those who invented the sms - such a complete waste of time.

---

mia noi calls. horny. hmmm...

am i in the mood for problems today? yes? no?

i decide to visit mia noi. she has prepared sushi! i love it. sushi on sundays before breakfast! that is it what i really need. sushi after cricket before breakfast. but she meant it so well, and she prepared everything with so much love - i eat sushi after cricket before breakfast. and i smile.

after eating sushi i am expected to be raped. but i only want a coffee...it was late yesterday, really. have mercy...

no mercy. i suffer. a lot.

can somebody explain to me why i feel so old here in this weird country? long time ago a was a serious business man! really.

Well actually I am not a Brazilian. But a gringo who loves Brazil and spends as much time there, which is a lot, as possible. Who has just spent his first night in Bangkok at Livingstones. I am on another planet. I appreciate the care that the Lodge provides. The reception here is excellent. The staff is very helpful, from the reception to the ladies.

I look for GFE. To me personality and "carinho" (I. E. , caring) is the key. As I get older most of the young ladies look just too good to pass up. But how to find the "carinho" in P4P, particularly when you cannot speak a word of the language and your companion speaks almost nothing but Thai? I love the cultural challenge. I loved that my lady of last night cannot tolerate anything but Thai food; that she is from a small town in the north; that she loves to kiss and cuddle. (It did not hurt that her throat was like an industrial strength vacuum cleaner.) She taught me my first phrases of Thai, tones and all. Yet this morning, after a delightful wake up frolic, she was all business and out the door. "I will e-mail you. " I am not complaining only noting as Dorothy noted to her dog (was it Toto? ). "We are not in Brazil anymore. " Much to learn, but what fun doing so.

I am still recovering in the office. Today, in the Sports Lounge, Giotto, facing the Supergau...

8:30 pm: (ex) Mia Noi walks into the Sports Lounge, together with a farang man and a friend. (ex) Mia Noi plays pool and shows around her new trophaee (farang).

9:30 pm: Mia Noi walks into the Sports Lounge, together with an two Indian friends. Giotto did not check his SMS before, battery low. So he did not read her message...and was surprised about her visit.

Mrs. Giotto was in the Sports Lounge - all night long!!!

11:00 pm: (ex) Mia Noi has won in pool. Next on the list is Mia Noi. (ex) Mia Noi plays pool with Mia Noi. Mrs. Giotto is closely watching all that. Those three ladies - are communicating!

Giotto nearly dies of permanent heart/panic attacks. Giottos dick disconnects from Giotto, falls to the floor and runs away, scared to be cut into slices and given to the ducks.

Really true, all this happened today.

If I ever recover from this night I will write that story down. That was really a good one.

Report From a Thailand Newbie. Night 1

And so begins a horrendously long report about my first ever trip to Thailand that is probably of little interest to anyone. I wondered whether to post on here or not due to the lack of anonymity considering I'm currently at the hotel now but sod it.

Booked myself into Livingstone's a few weeks ago, planning to travel with a mate who had booked himself into some posh gaff for free using his member points. I even had the support of my new girlfriend: use condoms and don't fall in love were her words of advice. What a gal!

Both me and my friend were well excited as the date of our departure approached, which somehow helped the horrors of working in corporate India fade into the background. But then, disaster! To cut a long story short I had a car accident last week and a scan later revealed I had slipped a disc in my back. At the age of 23 as well! How bloody embarrassing.

Next a further disaster: my friend's grandma sadly fell I'll causing him to return to his home country and cancel our holiday plans. Not prepared to let this prevent my cock from realizing it's destiny I duly rested up and rescheduled my booking for a couple of days later, much to the concern of my doctor and girlfriend. But what the hell did they know anyway. How could I expect them to comprehend the healing powers of a potentially unlimited supply of pussy? I was unsure of going by myself (as it's a bit sad really isn't it) but had no choice as my overseer had allowed me only a small window to go on holiday.

And so, having drugged myself up to the eyeballs I hobbled onto the plane at Bombay, and after a relatively pleasant flight took a taxi to Livingstones. Overall very nice room, no qualms there. I kind of got the vibe from the receptionist like 'what are you doing here you are too young, do you know what kind of place this is? ' type of thing but having spent a couple of years mongering whilst living out of hotels in foreign countries for work I was used to being seen as the proverbial pubic hair in the mongering lasagne, so to speak hahahaha. I'm just a sex addict pervert, what can I say.

My night flight had taken it out of me so I slept most of the day and appeared by the pool at about 6ish for a steak dinner, rather impressed with the progress my back had made. I could see the girls in the sports bar in front of me, and whilst eating spotted a nice one with a black top and mini-skirt playing pool. There were virtually no other customers there, and I was somewhat nervous as I did not yet know if there was a procedure for approaching the girls, if some were on the menu and others off it etc. (I'm a shy newbie ok guys) A couple of beers and a bit of advice from a helpful employee combined with the raging horn propelled me towards the bar, and I was immediately introduced to the girl I had been eyeing up, which I was somewhat impressed by.

Her English was somewhat limited, but I duly bought her a couple of drinks and she duly asked me the usual chit-chat questions. However, whilst sitting with her I had noticed another very small cutie with nice little boobs and my girl (who turned out to be named Fon, yes guys the notorious Fon as I was to find out later) said 'are you butterfly, why you keep looking at the other girls? ' which was a term I remembered from reading this forum. Oh dear, I had only talked to her for 15 mins and already she was showing signs of possessiveness. Thus to suppress my roving eye I invited her outside to the tables where we continued to talk and I continued to drink, as is my British hooligan way.

We continued to have a long chat in which we had talked about my current girlfriend (I decided to tell the truth, I only want sex not a relationship after all) and her 'butterfly' ex-boyfriend (Piper / Brad I presume after having read the forum this morning). She tried to make out that she was very selective in her choice of customers and that she had not had many partners but I knew this was likely to be a load of rubbish and having searched the forum I can see she gets around a hell of a lot.

Upon hearing of my girlfriend she asked me 'why you come here then? ' a question to which I had so many responses that no one reply could fully encapsulate the reason. Because I am sex addict? Because I am insecure? Because I have more money than sense? Because I must always be in control? Hmmm the philosopy of mongering, what a fascinating subject. Perhaps I'm getting a little too deep here, on with the report.

I asked her how much for the night and she said 1500 (I think so anyway, I was reasonably pissed by this point) and she went to change. I'm quite good at judging character and she seemed a little vulnerable and damaged (in the nicest possible of ways) which I don't really find a turn-on but was overall a very nice chick and she seemed to like me in spite of my stupid haircut and fat belly. The main quality she seemed to like in me (apart from my wallet of course) was the fact that we were the same age, and that I treated her nicely, didn't grope her in the bar etc. And to be fair the irony is that I always seem to treat WGs better than my actual girlfriends as I tend to feel rather sorry for them.

Having got her upstairs I was slightly worried that the muscle relaxants I had been prescribed were going to relax the wrong muscles (if ya know what I mean) but I needn't have been so concerned 'cos I was as stiff as a mutherfucka, and my back was being kind to me that day. Normally I would post a graphic description of what took place but considering that this is being read by people staying in the hotel who will probably recognize my filthy ass I won't go into too much detail.

Her English was too poor for me to convey the fact that I have the ability to have multiple, dry orgasms so she couldn't understand why after a good couple of hours of blowing and banging I still had not bust a nut (god I'm so crass). In fact I was having an awesome time but she didn't seem to understand. I never managed to make her come, and I don't go down on WGs. I am also paranoid about diseases, and never usually have BBBJs nor kiss the WGs. But she was desperate to make me unload, and stupidly I let her suck it without a cover and duly obliged with a forceful eruption.

Afterwards it all got a little bit scary: she asked me if I would barfine her tomorrow, to which I replied that I might like to see another girl from the sports bar. WRONG ANSWER! STUPID STUPID STUPID! She then proceeded to go a bit mental, giving me death stares, turning her back on me, calling me a butterfly and then starting to cry. She said she wanted to leave and that I could short time her instead of long time (which is what I should have done with hindsight), but stupidly I felt really bad and said that MAYBE I would barfine her again and that she was beautiful but I was just a bastard etc. I even attempted to explain to her the double standard of her sleeping with anyone with 1500 baht whilst attempting to hang onto me, to which she just replied that she would not let anyone else barfine her if I was there.

In the end she stayed and was desperate to please me all night. At one point she said, 'you and me have baby, yes' which I hoped was a joke but possibly wasn't as she kept trying to put it in without a rubber (I refused naturally), and after going to sleep I kept waking up to her holding my hand and kissing me, telling me she loves me etc. Which I didn't mind too much but unlike most mongers I don't enjoy GFE, it all seems a bit creepy for my tastes. I only need the physical interaction not the emotional, and with that in mind I think Fon was probably a pretty bad choice.

In the morning we had some action as well, and she didn't seem to want to leave. I gave her the money (2000 in the end, 1500 LT fee and 500 guilt payment, what a sucker) and at first she didn't want to take it so eventually I had to stuff it into her hand. I dunno if this is way too much as I have never been here before, wouldn't mind some advice on that one from fellow mongers. She said she was dancing in the bar tonite and she would see me there. Oh shit! She left a necklace here as well, so I'm gonna need to return it.

I'm in a bit of a bad position now. To be honest I didn't fancy that many of the sports bar girls, only Fon and the other little cutie, and so it's possible that once I've had the cutie I will want Fon again. But I think she's gonna go crazy. I dunno whether she has genuinely latched onto me, I'm no Brad Pitt that's for sure. Or is this just a big scam to get more and more money out of me each night. I think it's a bit of both to be honest. I've never experienced this kind of thing before so I'm a little taken aback. I knew these thais were all looking for western husbands but I didn't expect this. I may have to avoid the sports bar which is a bummer 'cos whilst I can read the forum to know where to go and pick up, I'm still shitting it about LBs, getting stuff robbed from the room, gettin ripped off etc. Oh well guess it's my own fucken fault. I'm still looking forward to tonight in the sports bar but I dunno what's gonna transpire yet.

Greetings,

Being an individual spending 300 nights per year in hotels, I was curious to examine the standards of this particular place and am happy to make a detailed report just after my 3rd day. I have to stay 3 weeks (+ possible one 4th later), for business reasons, and pretend to delivery adequate amount of work to keep my boss happy. The welcoming check-in on Sunday night was typically Thai: smiling, friendly, hurried, with the funny Thai touch of inefficiency: first sent to the wrong room (I had asked for a junior suite and was given a regular room), and the lovely receptionists all giggling while helping me to transfer my luggage. The suite was adequate, but my detailed inspection failed to detect that I was in front of the stairways, and after a very quiet night, I was suddenly made awake by the voices of the staff starting their first hour of the day (7: 00 am) at their meeting place downstairs. The point is that the Manager. Guido. Just came back that day, and did not have the time to resolve the inefficiencies inherent to the Thai workers left alone. In a matter of minutes, I was again transferred to a junior suite in the new wing, and was left mostly impressed by the wooden floor, the double Jacuzzi with flashing light, the decoration of the bathroom, the comfort of the bed and linen, the electric mosquito repellent, the faded lighting, a. S. O. , which make you forget the typical issues from a brand new installation (showerhead pointing to the wrong discretion, and need to switch back the fuses about 10 times for the Jacuzzi to fill in. Funny to see my Thai GF standing on the top of the chair and raising her arms to reach the fuses during 10 minutes). A quick tour of the installations reveals the care taken in the design: the central, large and warmly appealing pool, is equipped with very nice showers in the middle of a small jungle. Now, again pretending to work from the pool, I need a wireless working everywhere in the hotel, preferably free of charge, and also be able to connect my laptop to the power grid. And Livingstone provides all this without a flaw. So to the mongers with work to do during their trip, this is the place. The restaurant is pleasant enough. Nice service and music. So far I've found their Thai food over-spicy, but I'll give another try. The Ethiopian curry was excellent! And the all-day breakfast is made of good scramble eggs and yoghurt. The only potential improvement is the marmalade. All the German hotel owners around the world have so far been able to provide me with delicious jam, so we have that open challenge left.

As a conclusion for the hotel, some individuals may argue that for the price paid, they could have a luxurious room somewhere else, in one of those high towers, with DVD and spa and impressive lobby chandelier. Livingstone's stance is a boutique hotel, a term commonly misused by many to hide lack of facilities. But not the case of Livingstone: they have reached their objective of pampering hospitality in an exceptional environment for the middle of Bangkok.

To my fellow mongers, apologies that I can't give my review of the local stable. I have already been lured in Soi Cowboy, and found a TGF providing the right Thai Airways experience: "Smooth as Silk": her smile, conversation, skin, attitude, English, and the inside of a baby-sided pussy which makes you come easily even when wearing a 2 inches thick rubber condom. Obviously I'll have some opportunities in the future. Just need to find the courage to enter in the sport lounge, which with its 20 (nice-looking) girls patiently sitting at the entrance, give me the feeling of a baby antelope entering an hyena's den.

More later then, and thank you for the patience of reading these probably boring details.

Thanks for your long report, please go ahead reporting about your experiences.

May I intervene with the suggestion, that may be tonight you do NOT go to Livingstone's Sports Lounge. Otherwise the first Livingstone's baby is born in 9 months from now...

Please contact me around 7 pm, that we go out, I will show you around in Soi 33.

Background of this strategy is, that most likeky Fon goes out with another customer tonight...and that makes it then easier for you as a "butterfly".

Other mothers have beautiful daughters, too.

Thanks for your report, and yes, there are still some issues to be fixed in the new rooms. The breakers for the water heater, 20 A instead of 32 ... we did that to allow you enjoying your Thai GF standing in the top of a chair rasing her arms to reach the fuses ... :) .

Jam? I always get it when I have my breakfast. Oh, that reminds me that I have to test the Omelettes.

As I said many times - still a long way to go.

Again thans, and keep on reporting.

On my (about) 150th visit to Bangkok I decided to eschew the usual "President" properties and booked into Giotto's place.

Everything was excellent, with the prime advantage being that, should a sudden storm arise just after one has finished bathing and is ready for the evening's frolics, there is no need to leave the property. You can eat, drink and ogle (and subsequently act accordingly) without getting wet.

As I had arranged for a (long standing) young Thai lady of my acquaintance to meet me for dinner there, my ogling activity was somewhat restricted. (The young lady in question is a fitness instructor which has resulted in rather well developed muscles, and she is more than capable of giving me a good hiding should my eyes, let alone my hands, begin to wander, and in any case she's also extremely beautiful, so in her company the urge to stray is not so intense or imperative as usual).

Anyway, she was extremely impressed with the diversity of the Thai menu, and also with the quality of the food she ordered. She urges that I stay here again when I next visit Bangkok, as she also wants to stay here and try out the Jacuzzi. (on this occasion her mother was hospitalized and she was unable to stay the night with me, having to sit by her mother's bed awaiting her recovering consciousness after an operation).

I have digressed. When my friend left for the hospital, the night was still relatively young, and so I had a little roam around Soi 33. Some nice bars, but all a little expensive compared to other Sukhumvit soi.

After a few drinks I decided to return to Livingstone's having observed a number of rather delightful looking ladies moving around there whilst we had been eating by the pool.

I was very pleasantly surprized by the high quality of the (hand-selected?) staff. I was also pleased to be able to drink a very good German pilsner beer (much as I love Thailand, I do NOT love Chang or Singha!) at a reasonable price, and succeeded in fending off those who would pour it into the glass for me (slowly and carefully and FLATLY) and thus managed to keep a good head on the beer to the last drop. So I had another one, during the consumption of which I was shyly approached by a very demure, attractive and delightful lady from Lopburi (and here am I thinking I only like Issan girls). In spite of her charms I resisted suggesting that I pay her bar fine, as she had said she had earlier seen my dinner companion, and I had then spoken a little too enthusiastically (albeit truthfully) about her. So I felt that any such suggestion may immediately depict me as a butterfly, which I am, but pretend not to be. (Oh! Of what delights my conscience sometimes deprives me).

At that time I noticed that the music was quite loud, and apprehensively observed that my room was immediately above the bar. I was therefore concerned that my sleep may not be so restful prior to my early morning departure to Suvanabhumi. Not so however, I was pleasantly surprized that the sounds of the music were completely inaudible from my room.

One complaint. (Can't let Giotto become complacent). The aircon unit was undersized for the size of the room, and the sleeping conditions were consequently rather "sticky".

Overall however, a very favourable impression at a very wallet-frendly price, and I shall certainly contrive to stay there again in future, even without the encouragement of my (much stronger and tougher) Thai ladyfriend.

funny story, Bumhead, even though I have never been with Fon, I know her, and she can be quite dramatic.

In regards to your fears of going outside the lodge for entertainment, remember that for every story told of bringing back a LB, getting ripped off, etc, there are thousands of untold stories of guys meeting a great girl, having a wonderful time, and no harm done.
Venture out, and let us know more, and I hope the back heals.

Yep Bumhead, interesting and drama-driven story about your night with Fon. She can be persistent. I'm surprised she tried to go bareback with you. I'm not surprised she left her necklace in your room. She did this on both of the nights she stayed with me. Cheeky thing.

My initial thought about her reaction in your room is that she actually takes the butterfly issue a lot more seriously than I thought. ie it's a major embarrasssment to her if you take her one night, then take another girl the next night.

I still remember her running up the stairs after me and Island Girl as we headed to my room, grabbing my arm and making a dramatic scene, but I thought it was part of the act. Maybe not.

OK, now, my senility is overcoming me.

Giotto, if it isn't classified information, there is a girl in the bar, she and I have talked many times, she is one of the dancers on the round stage, never wears the "uniform du jour", she likes the really short shorts, wavy hair, her body is really good. (not the chinese looking one)

WHAT IS HER NAME????

There is a girl there, BIG, speaks 4 words of english, with feet that look like they belong on a rice farmer. I believe her name is Fon, but she is not the dancer in the pics, Piper. ( I think, but you have my email, send me a couple of the uncensored ones? )

Here is the problem. There are only 4 names in Thailand : Fon, Pim, Nok, and Pim. So if there are 20 girls in the sports lounge, 5 of them are called Fon. :(

Hi Mahtsalleh,

It appears that you inadverently forgot to correctly place the quote tags in this report. Usually I can fix this sort of thing before it's displayed, but I don't have a clue as to how you intended this report to appear.

The quote tags are simple to use, all you have to do is look for them in the text. Anything that you want to appear in quotes must start with "[quote]" and end with "[/quote ]". It's that simple.

In addition, you can preview your report before it's posted, so it's easy to check if you got it right before it's displayed in The Forum.

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi Giotto,

I am still staying at your place, and I feel I have exhausted the possibilities of Soi 33. Many of the ladies have not been to my taste.

The best seemed to be Monet but here I still saw only 2 decent girls. Office club had many ladies last night but none I liked enough to barfine.

Any idea where I can get the really high class, hot hot hot women? Someone mentioned Champagne Lounge or Champagne Club, something like that?

Any chance of you taking me further afield this evening? Perhaps Soi cowboy, Soi 4 (i think this is a mongering spot, no?) or possibly Nana Plaza?

Would be nice for a newbie like me to have the benfit of your wisdom (and help me avoid the LBs). If not I shall venture on my own and take my chances.

If room 118 is the corner room (last room at end of hallway), when I visited in May, it was not very cool, the room isn't that big and probalby needs new A/C unit.

If room 118 is the jr suite, (next room over), which is where I ultimately stayed for 5 nights, it was working fine at that time.

Really high class, hot hot hot women - be interested in your definition. If you didn't find any on Soi 33, not sure you'll see 'improvement' on Soi Cowboy or Nana.

Two alternatives:

New entertainment plaza MP - go upstairs to 3rd or 6th fl.,
Long Beach MP, the sideline models in the separate bar/restaurant area

In both cases, IMHO, they look great but service not as good as fishbowl!

Giotto, that was a seriously detailed report on the Soi 33 bars! Nice work, and I can see it being useful to a lot of people; maybe you could link to it on the Reports of Distinction thread? I'm heading back to Bangkok this afternoon, so I think I'll take the opportunity to explore Soi 33 a bit more (and hopefully with a bit more success than in the Sports Lounge... *crosses fingers*).

Incidentally, I never met Fon.I did, in the Sports Lounge - of all the girls there, I thought she was pretty much physically the outstanding one, and a hell of a dancer too. If we'd been able to hit it off I'd have definitely wanted to barfine her. However, my encounter with her and the other girls didn't go well, to say the least (see my report at http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=533605&postcount=3123 ). But your report makes me think maybe it wasn't such a bad outcome after all!

I would furthermore be interested if the behavior in other bars was different - whether this is a Livingstone's Sports Lounge specific experience.
After nearly three weeks travelling around Thailand, I think I can answer this question now - short answer, it's not specific to the Sports Lounge. I've barfined (or attempted to) a few times in other places in the north and south of the country, and the results have been mixed to say the least. The Buddhist beliefs that Old Thai Hand already mentioned do seem to be a real, widespread issue for me. The general outcome seems to be that if I can get a girl into a quiet(er) part of the bar, I can at least talk to her. However, it's about 50-50 whether she's comfortable even with that, and if she is it's again probably 50-50 whether she'll agree to be barfined. All this means lots of fruitless conversations! Then, having got that far, in all but one case it's been "I go short time", so no overnight stays or the ever-elusive GFEs.

It's pretty damn frustrating, as you can imagine. I know I'll be leaving Thailand with some disappointment about how much (or rather how little) companionship I've been able to find here. It's particularly frustrating to read the reports that you guys post and know that (a) I'll be treated differently and (b) there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it - it's rather like having the wrong skin color in a country where they care about such things. The daytimes have at least been really good, even if the nighttimes have been nothing like what I'd expected or hoped.

I'll have a look at the Soi 33 bars tonight for my last night in Bangkok - I'm hopeful that I might be able to have a last encore but based on what I've seen so far, if it's anything other than fast and forgettable I'll be surprised.

I was quite lucky to have met that charming office girl visiting the bar occasionely. All eye flickering, laughing and giggling. Conservatively dressed and supposedly shy, even when entering inside the jacuzzi, but authentic passion in the bed with real electric shocks when I gave her a few tongue licks at the right place, whose vibrations passed through the 2 inches thick condom to give me the most prolonged orgasm. As she said that she "also like women, but is shy". I feel that there is some good potential here.

As for the bar itself:

Pro's: good atmosphere, service and attitude. The lady I chatted with 2 nights ago quickly realized my interest for her friend and graciously retired. Also, I don't know how long I shall be able to resist to the 2 very sexy gogo dancers.

Area's to improve? Relatively old music, repetitive for returning guests. I ask a vote on the "lambada". IMHO totally retrograde even in the remotest village. Could play some good, modern alternative rock mixed with chilled out and good mixes? And finally: a couch? (am I demanding.).

Fon is one of our dancers, she is relatively beautiful and has a perfect body. Nearly all customers coming to the bar like that girl.

Fon is moody. An experience with her can be very good (as described), but it also can be lousy (other guests talked to me). If there is besides money a general rule it is that Fon likes younger men (eg. Mr. Vice President :) ), and is not that happy with older customers.

I would recommend to everybody to check out whether the chemistry with her is ok before you take her out, otherwise it might make sense to look for another girl, despite the fact that her body is exceptional great. It is then finally not worth it.

But your report makes me think maybe it wasn't such a bad outcome after all! I read your linked report and I am sorry you had such an unpleasant experience in Thailand.

I am guessing here, but I suspect that the situation has some connection with the Bhuddist belief in reincarnation. And that if you behave badly in one incarnation, then you are punished for it in some way in the next. Hence anyone with a disability is assumed to have been not such a nice person when he was here the last time round.

This may (or may not! ) explain the attitude of Thais to disable people. It doesn't make it right of course, but attitudes are formed by cultural upbringing, and are very difficult to "break".

In general Thai people do like to laugh a lot, and it's quite possible that what you perceived as "sniggers" at you were not actually aimed at you at all. I have often noticed Thai girls have a few words with each other in Thai followed by laughter, and when I have enquired have found that the remarks were actually totally inoffensive.

On the whole, I have found Thai girls to be very sympathetic and considerate, and of course I fully realize that they are way more interested in the size of my wallet than the size of my "meat and two veg", but that is the name of the game in which they have become embroiled. Generally though they tend to go out of their way to avoid being confrontational or rude, and try to make you believe that you are the man of their dreams, even if you are more likely to appear in their nightmares. (I don't have any physical disabilities other than those attendant to senility, but I'm certainly no girl's idea of Adonis).

I do hope that you have a more pleasant experience on your imminent trip than you had before. I would suggest that the girls in Livingstone's are no different in their attitudes/beliefs to other Thai girls, and that perhaps if you see them laughing, join in. I know this is perhaps easy for me to say and not so easy for you to do. But it could help.

Sometimes I go into a bar in Thailand with no ambitions to "snag" a companion. OK, not so often, but sometimes. I just want a drink and a quiet half hour. The only way to do this is to appear surly and uncommunicative. The girls will eventually get the message and the word will get around, and you can have that quiet drink you had promised yourself.

Consequently, it may be that if you have given the impression of being aggrieved and upset, you may well have driven the girls away, and the Thai comments you heard which caused the giggles may have been nothing more than "miserable farang fart"?

Dunno. Just hope you can enjoy this coming visit!

GiottoI meant "alternative rock"...like Greendays, The Killers, Chemical Romance - new stuff, not some dusty ACD or Scorpion which were one time very good I agree - but like human species, we have to evolve with our time. Now if this keeps only 2 customers in the bar - more choice with the girls who will pay me to get out of that music, so fine by me. I look for GFE. To me personality and "carinho" (I. E. , caring) is the key. As I get older most of the young ladies look just too good to pass up. But how to find the "carinho" in P4P, particularly when you cannot speak a word of the language and your companion speaks almost nothing but Thai?I have been to Brazil for some years. "carinho" means anything from "lovingly" to "affectionate" including "fondly" and "tenderly" at the same time. What a fantastic word from a country which might have a lot of carinhoso carinho. However, I hope very much she took care of you very well, too :)

You'll find out within 10 minutes if the girl is GFE-enabled and actually wants you to stay LongTime with her. Where do you stay? The Lodge? I guess that is one of the good places for this purpose.

I love the cultural challenge.Isn't that - right after 'love' - one of the main motivations to learn (whatever: language | culture | social behaviour | ... ) ?

Giotto, re Fon:

Someone, I forget who, once said that a beautiful woman is like a racehorse: great to look at, even if a bit high-maintenance, and amazing to be with if she's in a good mood; but if she's in a bad mood, watch out...

It sounds plausible enough - just ask any of Naomi Campbell's unfortunate personal assistants! :D

GiottoWhat, real live monks in robes and sandals? Is this a local tradition? ("May all who sleep in this room be blessed"?) Do they get a free pass to the Sports Lounge afterwards? :-)

The new rooms are great, btw, probably the best I stayed in at any point in my trip round Thailand. The jacuzzi was a high point - my companion last night was very taken with it. Admittedly there are a few bugs - things like mislabelled taps - but I'm sure you'll sort them out soon enough.

The holy spirit has found his way into Livingstone’s Lodge.

Yesterday the monks procedure was taking place, initiated by Mrs. Giotto, and from now on the business will boom. Mrs. Giotto is sure about this, and so are we.

The basic schedule of the procedure is:

- The monks arrive and take their seats on the prepared podium
- A line (cotton) is stretched around all the building by the “monking director” and helpers, to the altar next to the monks podium
- First praying session (30 min):
...... all monks hold the line in their hands
...... a candle is lit, wax drops into a silver jar filled with water
- Monks breakfast (the best of the best for the Monks)
- Second praying session (30 min):
...... the monks receive their presents
...... more ingredients are added to the water in the silver jar
- the Water is squirted over all participants of the prayer, using a wooden brush
- the monking director walks through all the building, squirting the water everywhere, each single room has to be opened
- Third praying session (20 min):
...... the “monking director” blesses each participant of the prayer, marking three golden points in a triangle on the foreheads
...... wallets, gems, pictures etc. etc., given by the participants of the prayer to the monks are blessed with prayer and golden points triangle
- Monks departure

I love this ceremony, it is so nice and easy, not like all the stiff procedures in our Christian religion. People stand up during the prayer and leave, yesterday even one Monk had to urgently visit the restroom during the third praying session – no problem!

In between a lot smalltalk with the Monks, they wanted to know where I am from, they smiled and joked, laughter, easy talking, but so much respect either. One of the things which makes this country worth to live in.

The “monking director” took his job seriously and walked around in all the huge area of Livingstone’s squirting the prepared water over as much important equipment he could find, including computers and music systems. Each door was framed with that water, and he prayed that customers might come in huge numbers, and a never ending stream of Thai Baht would end up in our cash box. He even walked through hells gate into the Sports Lounge, the holy spirit is there now, too.

During the blessing session the participants of the prayer came up with the funniest items to be blessed: Kids toys, pictures, wallets, gems… a detailed examination was done about a small sculpture, not bigger than 1 cm, showing a man and a woman close together, looking at each other, something a boyfriend presents to his girlfriend. And even that was then blessed in the hands of the monks, after all monks had inspected it first.

They take things easy, even those ceremonies which are so important for them – I love it.

It was a very special day for Livingstone's Lodge yesterday.

Dr. G.,

Considering that many Buddhist monks in Thailand join the monastery for a couple of months and then return to their "normal" lives, it isn't unusual for them to have a relaxed attitude about the not-so-holy aspects of life.

Maybe you should now put some Buddhist chantings on the playlist to underline the new spirituality of the Lounge!

Hi Giotto,

I am staying at the Lodge between 24th and 27th December. Just wanted to know if you have any special plans, parties, etc thought out for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

I hope to see you there and catch up for a beer (if you have the time), when I'm there.

Cheers,

Giotto,

I have been staying at the Lodge for 7 nights now, and intend to stay longer (probably 12 nights).

Are you still offering the promotional discount with free nights etc? I have posted a report on here and intend to post more soon.

If so how do I get the discount as from reading previous posts it seems that asking at the front desk is not appropriate.

Shall I come and find you?

Hi guys,

Thanks for trying to help me locate giotto. Yes Piper I have been rather busy in my room.

I know who he is 'cos I had to ask him to try and unlock my bathroom door after a crazy drunk girl managed to lock it from the inside at about 2am one night, although we have never had a proper conversation. Me and giotto, not the girl, oh actually me and the girl aswell :)

I'm sure I'll find him. I reckon he's hiding from me because he knows I want the discount. Only joking.

At the instructions of Mr. Vice President, let me try to explain the recent postings.

There are these two infamous characters, aka Piper1 and 1Ball (notice how each has a 1 attached to their handle - IQ and penis size -I'll let you figure out who has what:)) that terrorize the TG at the Sportsbar whenever they visit. They bring in cheap booze, get the girls drunk, jump in the pool naked, get free bbbj, etc. etc....you get the picture.

The general concensus among ISG members is that when they're in town, the rest of us need to stay away. Most of us just can't keep up with them...and even Mrs. G herself has to hide.

For instance Piper1 luvs 4somes, and brings in all these TG with exotic names, eg jungle girl, island girl and my own GF, PIM. 1Ball - well, let's just say he's a notorious butterfly!

Therefore, in deference to the health and well-being of fellow ISG members, we wanted to alert you of their pending visit to LOS. Rumor has it even the dungeon can't keep them under control.

PM if you need additional details.....RLMAO

I've read this Forum for several month now, and have to say, that you made me curious.

Is it possible, that Mrs Giotto has a German sister?

I'm asking, bcz. my wife will do the same than Mrs Giotto!

I'm coming to BKK for Business for 20 years now, but was more concentrated
on my work and not on Nightlife.

But on my next Trip to Bangladesh I will stopover in BKK on 13. Jan or 20. Jan.
I will have a look at the Lodge for one or more Glasses of Red Whine.

Hope to see you there.

I am sitting here in my office. This Saturday was a lousy day, in regards of business. No customers. The expats left Bangkok already for Christmas in their home countries. Soi 33 is empty, many bars closed early today…

I am sitting here in my office, but I am not really thinking about the business. The last few days brought some shocking news, basically initiated from this forum. And I think what to do. And it is not really easy to decide what I have to do now.

Most of the readers that come here to Livingstone’s Lodge try to meet Giotto, chat a bit, get some infos and have a good time. And I try to play my part of the game, meet as many Giotto fans as possible, exchange infos and try to help everybody to have a good time.

But then there are the “exceptions”.

The exceptions come here because they don’t like Giotto. Or may be not because of that – may be they have some experiences here which made them feel bad. Or they don’t like the hotel and it’s facilities. Or – I don’t know what it is. But somehow they are the “exceptions”.

The Traveler predicted months ago that this would happen. And I was also relatively sure that all this would one day happen. But now, when it is happening right now, it is still somehow shocking. Of course one can deal with the situation, but the question remains why it is necessary that the situation evolves. Where is the winner of such a game, how does it make sense? Why – for what?

When I came home from Singapore I met Mrs. Giotto. That does not surprise anybody. But Mrs. Giotto felt the urgent need to talk to me.

“You go to massage places sometimes?”

Hmmm… I looked at her as innocent as I could.

“Yes, sometimes, you know, Cefle, foot massage, over there in Soi 33…”

I knew already that this answer was not sufficient.

“Where is Orient Massage?” was her next question.

I had lost before I started to argue.

During my days in Singapore one ISG member had told her about Giotto, her husband. The guy who is writing in the internet. The guy who is obviously a massage place specialist. The guy who knows all those naughty places.

No, may be I do not describe it correctly. It did not happen as a smalltalk in the Sports Lounge. That guy took Mrs. Giotto to our internet workstation in the Lobby of our hotel. He opened the website. He read the reports to her. That is the real description of what has happened.

Now this guy could not know that the relationship between me and Mrs. Giotto is strong enough to deal with this. I think Mrs. Giotto knows somehow that I go to massage places sometimes in the afternoons when I am not in Livingstone’s. And she does not care so much, because she knows me. I come back. I am there in the night, and she sleeps in my arms.

After the first day of working with Mrs. Giotto in the internet he obviously realized that Mrs. Giotto was still not willing to sleep with him. He intensified his activities to convince her to change her mind:

“You have a Mia Noi in Renoir?” was the next question of Mrs. Giotto.

He has read that specific report to her, too. He obviously was well prepared.

Now one can argue that I am a complete idiot to write something on this board. No, may be one cannot argue about that. I am a complete idiot that I write something here. I thought it might make sense for everybody, you guys coming here for having some fun, giving the impression about what is possible, how things work here – giving a deeper understanding about the life a foreigner can lead here in Bangkok. And I am quite honest with what I write – about my experiences, my life, my activities here, and about many personal details. I think it is the correct way of running this show here, not to tell stories, nonsense or bullshit – simply talk about what is going on, even in my private life.

But should that be read to Mrs. Giotto? I am not so sure about that…and how stupid can somebody be to think that he can win the heart of a woman after directly destroying her dreams? How stupid can men act?

Then there are “exceptions” which develop different ideas. Those, who simply don’t understand how dangerous life in Thailand can be.

Some have obviously nothing better to do than to forward content from the board to business owners. If I write about negative experiences, or criticise something ( as I criticise my own business as well ) I normally articulate my private opinion. I cannot hide behind the handle as most of you do – I am Giotto, the owner of Livingstone’s Lodge, and that owner can easily be identified.

I can understand that a business owner is not happy if I write in the internet that I was not happy with the service of his business. Some business owners can deal with criticism, others not. Now you need to understand how things work in Thailand.

We business owners know people, who have power, otherwise you really don’t need to run a business in Thailand, better close it down before you open it. Those people with power have more or less power. And they are willing to give some protection for those who give the THB… but what kind of protection?

Protection means that the income source must survive – and if somebody would damage the income source and interrupts the future money flow – THAT IS NOT GOOD. And if the money flow is “sufficient” there are NO LIMITS of what can happen to somebody who is a threat of interrupting that money flow. Life in Thailand can be dangerous, if you do things the wrong way. And honesty is not always the right way of dealing with issues.

That is logic. Thai logic. – Guys, who send my reports to business owners, did you think about this?

I am pissed! Really pissed! I write here my honest opinion about my real life. And then all this happens.

Thanks, guys. You are back in your home countries now. Safe and protected. And your wives do not know what you did here, because nobody tells them. Good for you, guys. I am happy for you, that your life is still ok.

But may be it is not. Because there is this problem with your missing brains – for sure you have lost it somewhere. And one day somebody will find out, what brainless dump idiots you are.

Giotto

Giotto I am sure this is little comfort to you, but there are arse-holes all over, like the kind that show girls photos and reports that have been posted on the forum.

Your hospitality and open friendship has been abused to say the least by someone that has a pea for a brain and does not show much adult maturity - if you know the idiot responsible and he is still a guest, throw him out, ban him for life and lastly put his name in print so the whole world knows who this low down creep is.

I can only add my comments to what's been said already. Your hospitality is second to none; you made a point of looking me up on my last night in the Lodge and I can honestly say it was the best night of my entire trip to Thailand. (I'm still recovering!) How awful that someone's abused that hospitality in such a way. :-(

I know it's not really my place to offer advice, but for what it's worth I'll make a suggestion - make the forum strictly about the Lodge, avoid any mention of your personal or business affairs in your contributions. True, it would make the forum much less personal, which is a shame. But it would involve fewer risks, particularly in the kind of business environment you describe.

You might also want to block access to the ISG from your lobby Internet workstation - it's not exactly a discreet place, and there's a constant risk of someone leaving the ISG on the screen for the staff to read, even without intending to show it to other people. (The PC actually needs quite a bit of work. On the evening that we met, I was cleaning it up - I'd noticed that there was a lot of spyware and adware on it. There should be much less now. You might want to get hold of a local geek to do a more thorough cleanup and security upgrade. If you do, blocking access to the ISG at the same time could be a good idea.)

Hang in there, Giotto - you have a lot of friends out there!

Giotto,
this is bad news of course,
but like the Traveller I would have predicted that it is very unlikely that over time Mrs. Giotto would have never come to attention of your Internet ISG identity.
However I would have always guessed that this happens rather more by accident and unintentionally then based on ‘strategic plan’ as it happened now.
Unfortunately such selfish individuals you will find among all nations somehow equally distributed, but wonder if the special guest who did this detailed information for Mrs. Giotto is from the same nation as you?

What makes me angry is definitely the selfish attitude of a single member destroying the advantage of your reports and analysis you do for all of us in the mute to get advantage of Mrs Giotto.

Because I think as a learning and as well protection for you, over time you will not be able to keep this open style about your life and as well the open analysis about other establishments.

The ISG is to big for that already and besides ‘not enough thinking’ customers who probably want to take advantage (for themselves or for general improvement for all) from the reports by showing this to the owners, the owners themselves might read the board as well without being triggered by customers necessarily.

A then critic from someone who has its own partly competing business (in the widest sense it could be said that competing is competing about the visitors budget regardless if invested in a massage place or the sports lounge) is taken with a higher grain of salt then from ‘neutral’ source, however neutral and objective it actually is.

So Giotto’s opinions might be available in the future by PM and for ‘trusted guests’ only.

Regards

Wow Giotto - not sure why someone would do that. You say he did it so he could try to sleep with Mrs. G, but I cannot see that plan working.

I agree with you and 1Ball - it's not the end of your relationship with Mrs. G. Most women already know if their man has been playing (but they still don't like it to be proven to them).

Well, you obviously know who the culprit is, so what's next? ...

G.,

As long-standing guest, you do have all my sympathy. The world is full of wicked persons unfortunately. As for me, I appreciate all that hospitality given, the good advice, the open approach, and the fun which makes my working stay something special. That some people would abuse from it could just be a logical conclusion.
However, I would dare to suggest another quick theory: wouldn't it be possible that some stupid drunkyard would have shown the ISG site to one of the girls or staff, who would have then told to other friends, ending to Ms G. who would then have started her exploration in the site? I just give this argument because in my corporate position, I am always startled to see how candid or innocent-looking arguments just spread like contagious diseases and escalate to unexpected levels, without needing any conspiration.

Obviously I would never show this site to any girl, but thinking about it, you don't need much - just one staff passing by behind a guest typing on his computer in "Giotto's forum"... I am now paranoid in making sure that nobody sees what I am typing. Anyway, good luck with everything, as you can trust our support.

Tunnel disco – Giotto’s stable girl – Livingston review (follow-up)

The good news with my work is that it is not moving fast, so I look forward to stay more days, until 15 January. In the meantime, my careful multi-dimensional analysis of the Livingstone continues

1) Hotel: the showerhead in my room has been fixed. Coincidentally, Giotto noted that it one showerhead has been stolen from the pool showers. I deny all responsibility.

What is still missing, in my view, is a nice hammock in the shade to relax during the long days reading a book.

Thai food is getting quite good – some sea crabs on offer, soft shell crab salad.

2) Giotto’s stable: After screening at the theatre the miserably romantic comedy "THE HOLIDAY" (good acting by Cameron Diaz though), I was ready to take a last beer at the Giotto's stable, watching on the TV the femininely athletic disk launchers at the Doha games. One girl decided to make the first step and approached me, and after sharing a beer she convinced me to go to a disco (see below), but she had obviously drunk too much the night before and was kind of tired. So back to the hotel we went, while she still had energy.

The funny thing with these girls, who are hot, slim (I guess she does not exceed 42 kilos), and very very presentable, is that they don't feel well in their cute bodies and keep saying "may suay", watching with envy the snotty models parading on the dance floor, mobile in one hand and cigarette in the other – the later type is not my style.

The night was lovely, the girl is quite GFE, and the only inconvenient was the showerhead which fell on my foot the morning before going back to work... (now repaired, as stated above). Also these girls are well trained not to pest you when you are back to the bar, nevertheless I took her another night as she was fun..
3) Disco “The Tunnel” located on Sarasin, soi 15, the entrance is well hidden, there are candles on the stairs. The THB 300 entrance price including one drink is surely reasonable for the nice, post-modern Arabic decoration - but few places to sit, so come early. Music is purely techno with western dj of good level (don't go there if you like dinosaur rock or disco, for that kind of music I know a well hidden bar on soi 23). Now the biggest advice is to avoid going there on weekends! As I went there on Tuesday, I saw a lot of hotties, I am sure some of them are pros, and as usual in Thailand female proportion largely exceeding male. There were a few young falangs dressed in bermuda's and jumping a kind of aerobic rain dance which failed to impress the local girls (no much competition from that side if I were alone). But on Friday, total different story: ratio falangs (not especially gay looking) to girls 4 to 1 – nightmare in Thailand, normally there are always more girls in disco’s than men! At 2:00 am the music suddenly stopped and the lights went on, I guess due to tip of a police watch, so it was time to leave immediately in order to catch a taxi before the clientele would come out altogether.

Another interesting disco is Excite, kind of concert place with large stage and good Thai rock bands (except when they start singing YMCA…). Sound is deafening on the row tables though. Go there accompanied, take a sweater against the sickening air co, relax – prices are reasonable (THB 150 for a beer, no cover charge) but fight against the toilet attendants who expected a triple tip because there were 3 of them trying to give me a massage – I guess that if they do it, it is because some idiot in the past distributed his money to them.

As I know he met Mrs. Giotto in the Sports Lounge and first did not know that she was the wife of the owner. May be he was disappointed or angry about that, may be he simply wanted to produce himself with his knowledge - may be I overreact with my interpretation of his secret wishes.

That does not change so much of the facts.

Mr G.

You have my sympathy, because exactly the same thing happened to me whilst I was staying at your place last week, and may have future implications for this site.

I posted a report about a certain bargirl within my first couple of days of staying. A couple of days later I was approached in the restaurant by that girl who said her ex-boyfriend (I think from India?) had emailed her to tell her all about my report and she was not happy. I denied all knowledge and suggested that this bastard knew me and what a crazy coincidence etc. which seemed to appease her.

I then laid low for quite a while, but she caught up with me again shortly before I left and this time the guy had actually emailed her the report and she was holding a printed copy of it in her hand! I again denied all knowledge at which point she called me 'a velly bad man' and stormed off.

I noted that in the email from him that she had printed he stated that he was going to show her the forum the next time he came to stay at Livingstone's. This could be bad news as the girls could soon become aware of the forum and it may cause a bit of a stink to say the least.

I subsequently had to avoid the sportsbar for the duration of my stay as I did not want to have to answer anymore tricky questions, particularly from mama san who has good english and would have been more difficult to sideswipe.

Clearly there is no honour among mongers, and so here is a little message to the guy who decided to drop me in it, you know who you are:

I read in your email to the bargirl that you were shocked and hurt by what you read. Why are you shocked? You know this girl is a working girl what the hell do you expect? Secondly, a particularly amusing part of your email to her that I read said something along the lines of 'I though you only used your hand with these men...' hahaha that really made me laugh dude. She wouldn't make much money if she only used her hand you naive asshole.

I only hope that Giotto knows who you are (and he can certainly find out by talking to the girl) and never lets you back in the hotel cos you are clearly an asshole, and moreover you are a hypocrite as you clearly use this forum for the same purposes as everyone else and yet you feel the need to sabbotage it for others. Did you mention to the girl that you are also a member of the site where I wrote about your precious darling, the purpose of which is to facillitate sex tourism? You muppet...

A lurker writes: been reading this forum for a while for the entertainment value ;-), not yet having had the pleasure of staying at the Lodge.

I hereby invoke all deities I have access to that they might cause a horde of crazed bargirls to descend upon the miscreant in question and perform an impromptu operation with blunt knives.

If the PC is only used for simple web-browsing and the like, your best low-maintanence option is to install some form of Linux on it. Unfortunately I'm in farangland (more precisely: im Farangland) at the moment, otherwise I'd offer my services (in exchange for a beer or two) right away.

A Linux installation with OpenOffice (or MS Office running under emulation?) could be a fairly simple and much safer alternative, though people who've only ever used Windows might find it a bit confusing.

Alternatively you might want to look at a reboot-and-restore setup - it would restore a clean copy of Windows each time you reboot the system, so that any inadvertently downloaded adware/spyware/viruses/trojans are kicked out. I believe Norton GoBack is quite a good option for that. A fully working firewall/antivirus program is a must - try ZoneAlarm Security Suite.

It took me some time to find out about Renoir.

If I hadn't realized after 20 minutes, I would have sucked that well-placed peanut for at least half an hour.

And now I go to bed happily alone, with an eye on the Bacchus girl. Afternoon Tulip threesome helps me to stay cool in case of defeat during the night.

OK, seriously now: when I had a Taiwan girl-friend a few years ago, her stupid jealous boyfriend, the IT Manager of her company, tracked all my mails, send me mails pretending to be herself, spied on her mails, a.s.o.

To all the frustrated, wicked, wranglers, scheming dwarfs around, not able to seduce girls through the right combination of money and humor but preferring instead to show their mediocrity by using deception: stick a carrot in your a...e and let us enjoy good, honest, free mongering.

PS: the new shower head is working fine here, good temperature, not either ice cold or boiling hot like in many 5* hotels.

Your hospitality is second to none; you made a point of looking me up on my last night in the Lodge and I can honestly say it was the best night of my entire trip to Thailand. (I'm still recovering!) How awful that someone's abused that hospitality in such a way. :-(

...I agree with you and 1Ball - it's not the end of your relationship with Mrs. G. Most women already know if their man has been playing (but they still don't like it to be proven to them).
...
All,

I did not write the report to create any worries about Mrs. Giottos and my private life. All that is OK in the moment, even if you might not understand that. I basically wrote the report to get rid of some aggressions and point out that there are some strange guys out there.

As long as I assure Mrs. Giotto that the world is ok and she will be my first wife, that nothing will change between me and her, she will not have a major problem with my Mia Noi (second wife). This is nothing unusual here in Thailand, and can be officially implemented. First and second wife can even know each other - there should not be major tensions at all. It is just a question how all participants deal with that situation, and a question of time to get used to all that.

The only problem that I don't use this chance to officially implement a second wife is that I have to leave for Germany in 3 days, and that it is diffucult then to control the emotional situation. So I will wait to do that until I come back from Germany.

It will be an interesting time then.

Please, don't worry about Mrs. Giotto and me, we are fine, she slept in my arms last night, as usual.

Thanks for all your support.

Giotto

Having just gone through something somewhat similar during my reconciliation with my TGF, I can understand the sensitivities involved. But I think that Thai women understand men much better than their western counterparts. And I think they are willing to forgive our trangressions much more. The key thing as you say, that she knows she is your first life. As long as that is clear and you never throw it in her face, things will always work out.

As for the creep that pulled this stunt, I just hope that Giotto follows my favorite philosophy that revenge is best served cold. And I do think some revenge is in order at some point.

ISG participation does pose some danger though, especially when you have a TGF or a wife or significant other that knows computers. I know my TGF has done searchs for me with my Hotmail address name I use with her. Luckily she doesn't know about this site directly or the profile name I use here. As Giotto can testify, I unfortunately had to be rude to another ISG member when I was there with her and he started to talk about ISG and ask my profile name in front of the TGF. We had to cut that conversation off quickly and for that I apologize.

Years ago members of my family got into my email and saw things they shouldn't have. Unless you are 100% free and clear, you best never look at this site on a computer that someone else is likely to use. Unless you really know how to clean your tracks each and every time, it is just too easy for a suspicious wife or gf who knows a bit about computers to figure things out. I know I would have a really hard time trying to explain my posts to my TGF.

I like the Lodge but I have a problem staying there now because of the TGF. One issue is she doesn't feel comfortable knowing I was there without her and was with some of the girls there. I can work around that issue, but the bigger issue is that ISG members there are just too open about talking about ISG and related issues. Plus they see you with a Thai girl and the automatic assumption is that the girl you are with is a P4P working girl. And anyone that knows non-working thai girls knows that is absolutely the worst thing you could do. While they may be very knowledgeble about what goes on and quite tolerant of it, they do not want anyone thinking that is what they are. And unfortunately for me that is the impression my TGF got while there. It is sort of like the Lounge and the Lodge are free fire zones where you can say and do things that would not be accepted in a normal hotel or lounge.

I think the thing that really did it was one well known but unnamed member asking me in front of her, where I found her. An innocent question but the implication was there and it took some serious effort to calm her down in the room. If I was there with a Western women, I doubt if the question would have been asked in quite the same way with the same result.

hello giotto, hello livingstone lodge guests,

i have been folowing with great interest the vaioys reports posted on the section of the forum. a lot of the information is indeed new to me and wouyld have done me a world of good when i was in bangkok nearly 2 years ago [i had a very traumatic experience, more on this in a later post].

i would simply like to highlight what giotto wrote in his long post concerning the stupendous stupidity of those "exceptions". before that though i would like to state that my thoughts go out to him and his couple. it took me months, if not more, for things to settle down after my trip and while the circumstances are different the basic issues are pretty much the same. it's tough.

giotto, you write about thai logic, and i hope that those reading the posts got it. really. it's all very nice to try to bolster the quality control procedures of other owners, but it's not far from criminal to give explicit leads leading back to you. unglaublich ! what one earth do these guys think? even in europe you could get your face smashed because of this kind of stuff (ok, probably dpeends on the exact country, but still).

i am very sad that your generosity has lead to this nightmarish situation. i for one are very grateful to you and may well have the chance to say so to you in person around mid-february.

in the meantime, i hope your words of advice will not go unheaded.

The evening started badly while visiting Cowboy (Shark and Cowboy 1): whereever I sat, some quite unperfect ladies came to bother me - I hate the leeches of Cowboy... To get rid of the one who could speak good English and looked like my auntie, I started to engage her on a nicely perveses conversation, culmulating with: "have you done sexual phantasies: my best experience has been stuffing one girl in the a..e while her girlfriend stuffed a vibrator in her pussy and kissed her tits". She was laughing and suggested to go with her friend which looked OK, although not to expect that kind of ride - I guess it would have been the classic "me wait in bathroom while you finish my friend", so I obligely declined. The other leech was a very ugly little girl always staring at me, uuffff I had to ignore her long time before she decided to leave.

After that frustration I went back to the Livingstone and checked out the "girl next door" - Bacchus Bar - who defaulted on me last night because she had to take care of her innocent friend who was scared of my night drinking companion from G. place (Who was he again?).

This time I made sure she was free, a quick dinner at Basilic, she enjoyed the room double jaccuzi, and kept asking for some good oral sex. She is actually very good in English, and keeps repeating "oh dear" "oh dear" during the night.

So Mr G, I did not have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday ;-)

Thai women do tend to take a long time to forgive and forget. My TGF is still upset about my indiscretions (or at least the ones she knows about). The jealousy and anger just keeps boiling up although inbetween things are great. And this is after I took her to Kuala Lumpur for a week, Krabi for a week, bought her a new laptop, and a new necklace. P4P really is cheaper.

I sympathize with your problems. Sounds though like it might be a bad time to go home to Deutschland, especially if she isn't going with you.

Sorry if I sound preposterous, but…

I think women are better than men in manipulating us by expressing some emotional feelings in order to achieve their objectives.

And women can do that instinctively. Ourselves usually try to devise a plan: our objective, and how to interact with our partner in order to achieve them. We all believe we shall keep everything under control.

Then we find out that women have another objective, and are instinctively acting in a way which ruins in a snap of time all our well-designed rational plan. Then, we poor bastards are left with no way to react except our own emotions, where we can't compete with women.

The only way I have found to solve this problem is never staying more than 2 months in the same country. The other way is to leave aside all our feelings and live day by day..... but many women are much more patient than us in investing time and energy in their revenge to "make us pay".

So in such cases, I suggest to react as well irrationally, to surprise the women. For instance, go for one month to a monastery to "redempt ourselves".

was impressed with layout of the place and how i was treated there being only a visitor, girls were very friendly and there was a few isg members for a party. more than willing to out themselves as isg members! odd? lodge was much more than i expected! the place would be perfect for a private club! maybe with a little eden/[CodeWord900] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900)/fkk mixture? just a thought! each time i dropped in for either dinner or just a drink was hosted by a very nice lady who seemed to be kind of a greeter. nice touch!

steaks were excellent and enjoyed dining around the pool.

was by for a "maids" party, very nice!

a thought having now visited the lodge:

wheres the giottos grotto jacuzzi room (presidential suite would work fine)

i have enjoyed following the lodges events on this forum and will in the future try it out for a short time. not sure im the upscale clientele the lodge is looking for! like mine a little farther from home!

Rikusa,

Thanks for your report.

We had an alternative concept in the beginning, to make a kind of Men's Club instead of a hotel. But I think it is ok as it is now, though the profibility of a Men's Club would for sure be higher than the actual Lodge setup.

Upscale customers - no, please, not too upscale. It's a place where everybody can go, no ties for dinner needed. Just relax and enjoy the ambience around the pool, I think that's what all the Lodge is about. It is for normal people like you and me.

She understood you perfectly. Her english is very good. And she knows how cute she is, believe me. It was just the way she chose to interpet the comment. She is drawing a very distinct line between working girls and herself. And she thought you thought she was a working girl and that just drives her nuts.

Unfortunately for me she saw and heard a bit too much down at the Lodge and now doesn't trust me down there. For some reason she thinks if left alone, I would want to avail myself of the services of some of the girls there.

And she thought you thought she was a working girl Fair enough assumption, especially if she is a TG in the Sports bar. I remember your earlier posts about taking the risk, then getting interrogated - made me think twice about bringing Wildcat there!

Thor, I knew she wasn't a working girl, G had told me you were coming. I guess my compliment came out wrong. Give her a slap on the ass, and tell her I said hi.
What I don't understand is why she would think you would avail yourself of the services of some of the girls in the sports lounge. How could she think that?

When I thought we were breaking up, I snuck into Bkk on my own and stayed at the Lodge. I called her from there using USA Direct and thought that would not leave a trail. Unfortunately for me, it left the main number and she called back and confirmed I was there. So I was nailed cold.

And to make a long story short, after my adventures with the Starlet and others, I realized what I had with her was far better than anything else I might ever find, so therefore the reconciliation. Unavoidably though, certain facts came out, although luckily not all the details.

As a result staying at the Lodge is now a quite sensitive subject with her. Like most Thai women, she is extremely possesive and extremely jealous. While I think she will tolerate some fooling around while I travel as long as it is discrete and doesn't come to her attention, she does not trust me around other Thai women. She saw the girls in the Lounge and realized quite quickly that there were just too many temptations for me there.

I think the Lodge would have been ok with her, if I had never been caught staying there by myself. But once she figured that out, she is never going to trust me there by myself. She met Giotto and they had some interesting conversations about the girls there. She is really understanding about working girls, as long as I keep my distance.

Sometimes I have to laugh at it all myself. For those of us who walk that line between mongering and serious relationships with TG's, life often gets interesting. Both ways have tremendous appeal and advantages and sometimes it gets confusing to know just which way you want to go. It took some misadventures for me to figure it out. Of course you never know how long I will be able to stay on the current path.

The nice thing about the Lodge is that it puts the mongering life right out in front of you in a very nice, easy to work with environment. It might just make it all a bit too easy to do. And my TGF knows this and hence my current predicament.

I can't complain though. Over the years in Thailand I have had some spectacular TGF's and also some spectacular working girl experiences. It is a life I would not trade or go back and change except to figure out a way to have just stayed there in Thailand many years ago.

I will be here in Livingstone's. Some other ISG guys are here, too.

On 31.12.2006 we have a New Year Party. You never know how many guys will really come, but - you cannot leave our ladies alone that night, can you? They don't want to sleep alone...

Yesterday Livingstone's first Staff Party! Oh my god. Will write a separate report about that later.

But you are so good at this. You have a skill for this I bet you did not know you had.

I know you helped me when my TGF told you she was not happy with me even looking at the girls in the lodge. You looked her in the eye and told her, "Your man is a hunter, he can not help that he is always hunting." And you know, she got that. Thanks.

No offence taken. In fact the Thai's wlcome smaller dicks. I wonder, however, do oriental men use customised condoms to suit their size?:D

The report in the article used a flawed study. 1200 men out of a population of 1.2 billion is hardly a representation of the dick sizes. A more sizable sampling needs to be done. Hmm…… I wonder if a delegation of TG's could be sent to India..........Sir,

After reading this specific report sequence I ask myself whether your "appointment" as Head of Livingstone's TQM department is justified - under this given Indian "circumstances" :) ...

Can you please publish a picture of your tool in action - we will then ask Moebius to comment on that.

OK, guys,

nobody will believe this. But it is true.

It is now - what date ever, 4:15 am in the morning, Bangkok time.

My wife is sitting outside at the pool - talking to Mia Noi.

Yes, this is really true.

After a severe crisis today (yesterday my return from Germany was still ok) I decided to organize this meeting, my wife asked for it. We waited until all customers and staff had left the Lounge/Pool area, and Mia Noi came at 2:15 am.

First it was quite cold out there. I would say: icy! Now - I am sitting here in the office, and my wife is talking to Mia Noi. Smiling faces! Laughter! They are joking out there (most likely about me or my performance - or whatever).

CAN SOMEBODY EVER UNDERSTAND THAILAND?

(I will write about this event in details later on this board, if I will survive this night!).

I will get divorced soon, and my wife will marry Mia Noi. That is definitely the actual situation.

Good Night!

Arrived at Livingstone's on the 27th and am currently nursing my third horrendous hangover in 3. Must have just missed Giotto, his wife and Mia Noi this morning as I stumbled in at 4. All seemed quiet.

Livingstone's is living up to the billing. The place is great. A totally peaceful enclave right in the middle of Soi 33. I'm staying in one of the new "Deluxe Rooms" and I'm very impressed. I was a little nervous at first as the room looks directly on to the bustle of Soi 33 itself whereas many of the other rooms are hidden away behind the main Soi. However, no issues with noise as I drift off (read pass out) in to my nights dreams each evening and wake up around midday to tranquility.

The aircon is more that sufficient and the bathrooms are very well fitted out. The jacuzzi bath takes a little while to fill as the water is heated on demand by a little heater but this is a minor quibble.

Breakfast is great. Fried eggs, ham, cheese, country bread (French stick) and fruit with yoghurt and honey all served by the peaceful pool. Perfect to revive my battered liver and to allow steady contemplation of the previous days exploits and to allow planning of the coming shenanigans.

Fellow Bestards,

Unfortunately the news is not good. Reliable sources report that after a lengthy meeting between Mrs. Giotto and Giotto's Mia Noi, where the two ladies were laughing and joking, Giotto was lulled into a false sense of security (he didn't realize they were laughing and joking about their evil plan).

Giotto hasn't been seen since his morning nap today. It seems he forgot to sleep with one eye open.

However, there is a new addition to the Sports Bar: a tall post-op ladyboy with a German accent. New to the scene, but apparently gives good service.

Pictures coming soon.

ok, this is hopefully going to be a long report, so gentlemen, please bear with me as i jot down a few thoughts, compose a line or two and relive some very great memories.

to begin with, let me introduce myself. my handle is crapgame. where did i get this dumb handle? well, it's in honor of don rickles character in "kellys heroes". this of course is rather ironic since my personality is much more like the character oddball then crapgame in what many consider the greatest bank heist/wwii movie ever filmed. (but then again, how many bank-heist/wwii movies are there to be honest?) anyway, i digress. who am i? just a dumb guy who has been far more of a lurker then a poster on this board during the past few years. this of course was due to lack of interesting encounters that i thought the world would be interested in reading about. but that has changed, (and for the better) in the last few days during my stay at livingstone’s. so gentlemen, the bard in my soul has been awakened and i must write.

day 1: december 27th.

i arrive in bangkok on a 7am flight. during my flight from the middle east and a stopover in colombo, sri lanka i had the opportunity to bump into a really cool older english gent. now, i have never been to bangkok, or thailand, and i couldn't remember any advice given on this board on how to proceed from the new airport to the city. the only thing that i had in hand was a printout of phuquer's "5 days in bangkok" itinerary. (i also didn't bring my laptop with me since i didn't feel like lugging it around.) this of course was written when the old airport was up and running. in phuquer's report he states that it should cost about 500 baht or so to get into the city. well, this older brit who i had bumped into told me that the new airport was about twice as far from the city as the old one. so, i'm thinking about 1000 baht or more to get into the city. [at the time i compose this, i still don't know what a good rate is from the airport to livingstone’s. hopefully someone can tell me.] anyway, coming out of the airport i'm faced with my first decision. take the aot, airport official taxi, or something else. my brit friend said that anything under 2000 baht should be fair. well, wouldn't you know it, a cute lady hawker caught my eye, and already thinking like a dumb guy i follow her to her company's taxi stand. she had quoted me 1200 baht and i guess that sounded ok. so, she drops me off at the curb and i got 2 guys from her company jabbering into walkie-talkies calling in a cab. the cab comes about 10 minutes later and he brings me into the city. the ride was interesting for a couple of reasons. # 1, there are some huge billboards on the side of the road, and # 2 it looks like the sky train is being built up to come out to the new airport sometime in the near future. if this is the case, one could take the sky train to livingstone’s. there is a station about 100 meters se of soi 33 on sukhumvit. (i bet this sky train is gonna tick off the taxi drivers to no end.) anyway, the taxi ride took about 30-40 minutes methinks to get to old soi 33 and livingstone’s front door, which i almost missed. gentlemen, livingstone’s is about 50-60 meters past the novotel on the left hand side of the soi. there is a huge tree whose canopy overhangs the entire street right at the entrance. well, i'm in a vacationing mood so i tip the taxi driver 200 baht and bid him farewell. buy now, it's about 8am and i'm at the famous livingstone’s.

ok, walk on in and i check in. i had reserved a room a month earlier via email with giottos, # 2 and they were expecting my early arrival. room check in was relatively ok. there was a slight mishap at first with me being sent to the wrong room, but all was taken care of within minutes. i get to my room and promptly take a shower and crash. around noon i get up and am ready to start exploring bangkok. now, i had phuquer's bangkok itinerary in hand and decide i want to get something going right away. so i stroll on down to sukhumvit, cross it and start making my way up nw to the lower number soi's. as i'm walking and seeing the sights and sounds and smells of sukhumvit, i decide to give [CodeWord900] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900) a try. so, off i go and get a welcome bbbj to begin my afternoon. this was way down on soi 8 and i had walked there. it took about 30 minutes to walk. after [CodeWord900] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900), i stroll on back to sukhumvit, check out the outdoor bazaar on the crowded sidewalks and decide to check out eden club after checking out a tailor or two. eden club entrance is relatively narrow but i was able to find it ok. i go on inside, check out the prices on the menu. 1 girl is now 1800 baht. [i can't remember what the 2-girl combo is, sorry.] well since it's about 2pm there are only 6-8 girls working. all of them line up on the right side of the yellow line, no girls on the left. of the girls that were there, i would say most fell into the 5-7/10 category. nothing really impressive. so, i thank the mamasan for her time and stroll on out. feeling touristy, i decide to walk all the way back to livingstone’s. well, it had warmed up and the humidity had risen considerably. soon my shirt was soaking wet and i felt like i would never make it. but, i trudged onwards. strangely enough, as i'm walking back this thai gentlemen, who is impeccably dressed in a long sleeve shirt and tie starts walking with me and chatting me up. (he of course looks as cool as a cucumber.) turns out he's a police captain on his lunch break and wanted to see how i was doing because he saw my soaked shirt back. just being friendly and making sure i was ok. overall, a real nice and professional gesture by one of thailand’s finest.

well, i survive my trek back to livingstone’s; take a cool shower and crash. i wake up around six and once again consulting phuquer's itinerary i decided to mix it up and give poseidon a try. it takes about 45 minutes via walking, sky train, metro and walking again to get there from livingstone’s. i get there around 7pm. i go up to the 2nd floor and check out the fishbowl. about 40 girls on display. nice, very nice, but how nice i ask myself? wanting to check out the 'models' above i head up to the 3rd floor. after all, this was my vacation! so, about 15-20 girls up there. some real stunners but kinda hard to make eye contact with them. so, back on down to the 2nd floor. check out these girls again. i settle on 1 and i call one of the managers over to make my pick. as he strolls on over, my girl in chiffon green is taken! alas, what to do?!? well, dumb guy like i am i head up back to the 3rd floor. i settle on a rather cute one, and take her away. gentlemen, here i make a big mistake. i miss the signs that this one is gonna be an automaton. dumb, dumb newbie mistake. for 3900 baht i got the following with my model:

a) a pretty fair soapy bath.
b) a toothy bbbj of about 3-5 minutes.
c) a quick switchover to condom and mechanical cowgirl.
d) i try variations, am shot down, crash and burn.
e) finally convince her (with much grumbling on her part) for a 2nd position and finish doggie style.

wham bam thank you sir! 1 hour after entering, i'm back on the street. pretty disappointed but chalking this one up to dumbness on my part.

get back to livingstone’s around 9:30pm.

settle back in, refresh a bit, and head downstairs. i have a great chat with giotto's # 2 and find out that giotto will be coming back into town the next day. by the way, giotto's # 2 is one great guy! he is one funny individual. if you get a chance to sit down and chat with him, you'll be doing yourself a favor. pure class!

anyway, trying to salvage something from the evening i decided to check out the stable of girls at livingstone's sports bar. there are about 15-20 girls working and i find one that i'm pretty impressed with right away. after chatting with her for awhile, i ask to barfine her. she politely refused and simply explained that she really doesn't go out with many guys. i say no problem and keep searching around. i chat with some english fellas at the bar for quite some time. at some point, they take off and i head back to my room to check something out. surprise, surprise, what do you know. the girl who i had asked out before to barfine, comes up to me and tells me she changed her mind, and would i still be interested in her? you bet! so, i give her my room number and about 10 minutes later she comes on up.

gentlemen, this young lady saved the day! she made everything right again, and put the entire experience of poseidon outta my mind. she was a pretty good gfe, if i must say so. well, by now it was coming up to 1am, and i was quite alright with a short-time experience and so we bid adieu. as a gentlemen i walk her out, for all the girls were taking off at about this time, and bid her adieu. total cost for this lovely angel from livingstone’s: 1 barfine 1500 baht + 2000 baht short time. it was a great way to finish out my day.

but wait, it wasn't finished quite yet. now, after all this, i'm absolutely famished! giottos # 2 is closing down the restaurant and bar for the evening and suggests getting a pizza. sounds great i say. no problem, and since he's heading home, and there's a pretty good late night pizzeria on the way, he'd be more that happy to give me a lift since they don't deliver. once again, what a classy guy. this is just great customer service. i mean what else could i really ask for. so, i go get a pizza and then take a taxi ride back. i finally get to bed at 3am. what a great day.

and that gentlemen closed out my first day in bangkok. i hope i haven't bored you to tears already. i'm going to write up one of these reports for every day here at livingstone’s and bangkok. stay tuned for tomorrows episode!

editor's note: i certainly hope that the author or somebody else will post a link to this report in the reports of distinction thread. please click here (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/announcement-reportsofdistinction.php?) for more information.

I just turned on the news here in the US and they are saying some bombs just went off in Bangkok. I guess all of our fears about the southern problems moving north may have happened.

There don't appear to be too many details out yet. Hopefully someone there will let us know what is really going on.

Here is the initial CNN report:

BANGKOK, Thailand (CNN) -- At least four explosions have ripped through several areas of downtown Bangkok wounding at least 12 people, police say.

Sunday's blasts came as residents prepared to celebrate New Year's Eve at midnight (noon ET).

Chief government spokesman Yongyud Maiyalab warned people to be cautious but not to panic.

One blast occurred at a mall near the Victory Monument in the center of the Thai capital, Reuters reported.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility

True.

Obviously 7 bombs exploded simultaniously, in different areas of the city. 2 people dead, more than 20 injured.

Military is on the streets.
