It would be less than 5 minutes from where you are staying.

I have never been to Bangkok Cozy, but can give a good rating to Cupidy, having been there several times. It has a lower level entrance to a building that is adjacent to the Plaza Entertainment Complex. If the cab driver takes you to Cupidy first, just walk up the small hillock to Plaza, and vice versa.
Many rate Plaza as one of the best. On the main floor you will have 2 or 3 different price structures of girls to choose from. Take the elevator to the 6th floor to choose from the so-called model superstars. I never saw anything I liked at Plaza and always ended up at Cupidy.
They have a good selection of girls in the fishbowel and a very good selection of sideline girls (usually younger and less experienced). I have been serviced by girls from both sections and generally been very satisfied. You will always run into the occasional exception of bad service. Expect to pay between 2000 to 2500. You might be able to bargain your way to 1500. Always get the business card of the host/hostess. You can flash it on a return visit and state you get a low price because you are a good customer. It usually works.

There is nothing between those floors at the Plaza to my knowledge. IMHO you were lucky Emanuelle was closed because I have never seen anything there worth the price. Ditto Caesars across the street. While in the Emerald Hotel area, you might walk down the narrow street along the side to check out the Mirage. The Subway might be worth a quick look, and be sure and stop in Nataree, which always seems to have a good assortment of pleasure givers for a reasonable 1800. Please report on Cozy, which I am not familiar with.

I was in Bkk on my way to Taipei. Visited poseidon while I was there. Arrived around 7:00 PM, the fish bowl was full but didn't find anything really great(I guess you can say I'm choosy). Went upto the lounge on the third floor. The mamasan showed me a few girls one of them was really gorgeous. She was around 5'2" & goes by the name of Lumfam (I hope I spelled it right). Getting a visa is no problem , 30 days is free , just fill out the form they give you on the plane.
I am sure the taxi drivers out front can take you to a place to have fun , it will be more expensive because the taxi drivers get a commission if they bring in a customer.
Someone might know a place close that you can go to, take the taxi to a nearby hotel and walk over to the massage parlor

You can get a visa to get out of the airport between flights in BKK. If your passport is from USA it's just a matter of completing a small form which they will give you on the plane. Passports from some other countries such as India take a little more doing and the visa may cost you around $60 by the time you pay all the fees but it will not take long to do this.
Take a metered taxi from the airport into Bangkok for about 300bt. For the period of time you have the Morning & Night Bar which is right across the street from the Nana Hotel would not be a bad bet. They have 45 girls working the day shift in there and short term rooms upstairs. If Jenny is there she would not be a bad choice but there will be lots to choose from.
Take care of business, look around a bit and allow yourself at least an hour to get back to the airport. Great way to spend your layover time. Note: Jenny use to work in a massage parlor and is good at that as well as other things.

Just to confirm the location of Eden, it is in fact soi 7/1 which is a dead end road between soi 7 and soi 9.

The problem is that Forum Search is not working for content search, only for Poster search. If you Search for "eden" or "Eden" you only find posts back to 10/24/2004 - it does not seem to be finding anything prior to the upgrade date. Perhaps the old posts need to be re-indexed and that is pending finalization of the upgrade.
Searching for posts by "postername" however does find old pre-upgrade posts, but that does not really help anyone to RTFF without a x-reference between poster and useful info.

Lucky me, bangkok streets are pretty foul.
Spent 4 days here doing the tourist things and some mongering. People are so friendly and sweet. That little bow they do with their hands clasped when they say thank you just blows me away.
On a few previous posts there is discussion about legit amps that don't give happy endings. I ran into 2 of them. Very surprising but not a big deal. In the Thai culture some take massage very seriously without any sexual content. But then there are as many amps here as there are McDonalds in the US, maybe more. I did some extensive walking [>8 miles/day] and they are just everywhere.
One key is to look for "body massage" along with Thai, foot, oil, etc. and that will be the most expensive by far. I paid 1600B for an unforgetable one. They massage you with their body [duh!] and it is wonderful. It is just great when they turn you into their own private slippery slide with that hard little butt sliding back and forth. By the time she was done with me my prick was on a hair trigger. Not long to blast off.
Left yesterday for Pattaya. Took a taxi ride that I won't soon forget. 160km/hr and at times I was screaming like a girl.. Told him there was a $20 for him if he would just slow down to 100km/hr. Not a problem. The ride itself was about $30 with tolls. Was happy to give him the extra $20 anyway. Nice fella. I have a cold that is hanging on and was coughing a bit. A number of years ago, a very long time ago, I use to go to the Dusit Thani hotel for a massage. They had ornately decorated massage rooms. I wanted to pass along a little information about the new Subway. As I understand the Subway just opened up this past July or so. Last week had the opportunity to travel via Sky train from Nana to the Sukhumvit station then I went downstairs to the Subway and went to the Huai Khwang station. Once there you are in the middle of all the classy and large LARGE massage parlors.
Nataree and several others are accessible if you come out of exit 3 at the Huai Khwang Station. Caesars is across the road and all you have to do is use Exit #2 if you want that. The subway made getting to these places so easy and fast that I was amazed.
For those that are not as familiar with the subway and sky train system in Bangkok it is easy to use. You simply need to know where you are going (i.e. the general area) and then pick a station that is close. They have a map on the kiosk at the station and it has the station name and number like 1, 2, 3 and so on. You pick the station and then it tells you how much. The ride from Sukhumvit to Huai Khwang was 27 baht.
I am from a very rural part of the U.S. and our idea of mass transit is a bigger truck. So I was very unfamiliar with subways and the like but even I found it easy to use. Something that I kept as a reference was that on the Subway the direction from Sukhumvit to the massage parlors was "Bang Sue". Now how much easier is that for keeping your bearings straight. LOL.
As for the Massage parlor I used Nataree. I was in the area during the middle of the afternoon and everything else seemed closed. I went in and they had a nice selection of girls in the fish bowl and a nice selection in the booths. I found out afterwards that the booths are for freelancers and are usually a bit more expensive. I did not get prices though.
The door man that greeted me and escorted me to the ladies collected 2000 baht for the fee. The girl I selected #54 was very pretty and had a nice firm body along with some enhanced breast that I was not going to complain about.

I was just in Ratchada and i figured i would do some recon. I stopped in at Posiden Bath and enjoyed the big statue at the top of the entrance of the mythical Posiden with trident in hand. seems that prices have gone up, last time I have been there it was about 2000 for all girls in the fishbowl and 2500 for those who sit in front of it. Those in front are part timers or semi pro, they only work if they want to so you can usually expect some better service.
Maybe you noticed a sign in chinese at the wall in the fishbowl. There is a cheaper price for chinese people. Once I have been there with Tapioca who is able to read chinese. At Subway you need to ask for Number 23 Rin or Number 2, don't know her name.
Number 23 is quite busy, you are best to telephone Subway and speak to papasan 'Somchat', get him to arrange a time for you and then give him 100 baht tip if it all works out OK.
It may sound a bit of trouble but trust me it is well worth the effort.
