Out of all the MPs I went to in Oct 05, Long Beach was the best for selection. They do have a very good selection and their sideliners (basically creamy skinned, pretty and big boobed) are also very hot - but a bit expensive though @ 3000 to 4000 baht ST.
Gotta get there early though. I'd suggest 4-6pm is ideal. By 10 pm, most of the girls are taken or about to head home.

After my first night at Catherine, never made it into town and Eden club. Too bad, wanted to see and try myself.
But did return to Long Beach, which is next to the Radisson Hotel and stone's throw from Catherine, La Defense, etc....15 minutes from my Kanary House service apt.

Fast eddie - I'm not too good with directions/distances given the traffic, etc. Both LB and C are next/near Radisson Hotel. I think in the evening, after rush hour, probably 20 minutes but during regular day time closer to 40 minutes.
My position on MP is it will vary with time of day and personal taste...and I am asian-american, so what i like might be different than what a 'farang' (no insult meant here!) likes. My recent preference for both these places include full two hours, no hassle for 2 shots (I actually was asked if wanted a third at Catherine last trip), and relative 'value'. If you're taking taxi from town, you need to take into account taxi fare and travel time.

Oh my goodness. Sounds like you didn't do well with the Papasan and the girl. This is usually the result.
I do really well at Meree. Go before 6pm, they have a discount. Also, I recommend talking to the younger papasans there and go with your instinct. If you ask papasan to choose girl, they'll choose anyone, unless you are asking for 2 girls, then the papasan will know to pick 2 girls that like each other. That's the secret. I wait, sometimes an hour for the right girl to come in. Then I have her choose another girl. I also insist that none of the girls have tattoos, just my preference. -Study the personalities involved, not just the equipment.

Every MP has what you are looking for, it's a matter of patience, chance and timing. The previous posts pretty much have repeated what many of us MP old-timers say:

i actually addressed this in previous post. this is what i found out during sept visit to los mp....many of the mp in town is 90 minutes, 1 shot only. if you want second shot, they ask for up to b$1,000....this was confirmed by some of my local thai business partners.
cupidy is one of the mp i don't go to....it's mainly for tourists and newbies.
mp further out of city center is more value oriented...$1500 to 2000 for full 2 hrs, plus two shots (even third). search catherine and long beach under the bkk massage parlor thread for more information.

You're absolutely right....because Catherine is slightly off the main drag and because of it's value pricing, it does get crowded...the best time is either earlier, say 5 pm or much later, 10 pm (but you run the risk of less selection at that late hour).
Also, on the same side street of Catherine is La Defense (it's acutally the one you see from the main road) -- never been in there so can't give you opinion.
Too bad, you were only a stone's throw from Long Beach - further down the road, past Radisson Hotel. Higher price but usually quieter and just as good, IMHO. And further down is the famous Colonze....

btw, good job on avoiding traffic. i've been lucky the last few times, too, and able to get to the airport from sukhumvit soi 3 in 25-30mins using expressways. about 140 plus 60 for toll. much cheaper than hotel taxi's.

They have various types of memberships like number of bottles, number of bonks, etc, but personally I think the "free for all" type would be the best.
That would mean you pay a certain amount of money, and then they just deduct from it whatever you use (bonks) drink or eat.
I agree that membership is value for money.

There was a Japanese guy in the room next to me and from the sounds of things he was having a pretty intense time. Mon said he was having a three girl special with a prostate massage. From the sounds coming from the room they must have been trying to drill for oil in this guys ass. All of a sudden he lets out a huge fart and the girls all start screeming. I shall be visiting Bangkok in Mid-Jan 06. I've been reading reviews on Hotels which demand extra money if u walk in with a Thai girl. My whole trip to Bangkok (about 3-4 days) is just to have some fun ;-) wondering if someone can point me to some good Hotels to stay (safe, clean and girl friendly) at the same time close to where all the action is.
Thanks for your help guys!Almost any hotel in BKK is girl friendly; but, it depends on you. If you take a girl dressed like a hooker into the Nana no one is going to raise an eyebrow. However, if you take the same girl to a five star hotel like the Orient or Four Seasons you are going to attract all kinds of unwanted attention. Just try not to be conspicious and you will not have any trouble.
I recommend the Majestic on Sukhumvit between Soi 4 and 6 or the Nana. Just go to the disco in the basement of the Nana, pick up a couple of girls and take them up to your room. You don't even have to go past the front desk. In fact, if you don't bring a girl into the Nana people are going to look at you funny.
