Opening times varies with each MP. But going early just as they open is not always the best strategy as MOST of the gals will not be there yet--so you may only get view of several "worms" instead of the bunch.
Best times for me have always been before 5pm--when everyone else gets out of work and need to bonk.

Some are not tourist traps ,but not sure of CP2 as I've never been there.
Mona Lisa do charge a commission. Tell driver to drop you off at the Siam Hotel, Mona Lisa is next door. If in doubt about any MP ,always have taxi drop you off nearby and not directly at the MP --then just walk over after he leaves.

It takes about 30 minutes if there are no delays due to traffic, how much longer it takes depends on the traffic situation. Getting in to Eden at Suk Soi 7/1 usually isn't a hassle except during the morning or afternoon rush hours, it's getting back that be a problem on occasion.

A friend of mine rides the BTS from Nana station right at Soi 7/1 to a certain station (not sure if he switches to the subway at some point), then gets a cab from there to the airport. He says he always avoids BKK traffic hassles that way. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I've never done that route myself.

However, four hours would be cutting things very fine. It will take you 20-30 minutes to clear Immigration and make your way to the cab stand, another 30 minutes into the city if no traffic. Ninety minutes for the Eden session. You have to board most flights at least 30 minutes before take-off. It will take another 30 minutes at least to clear Immigration again and walk to your gate (could be longer, I've waited 45 minutes to clear Immigration on several occasions). That would leave about 30 minutes for the trip back to the airport, which is pretty optimistic. With five hours to spare, it might be doable to cram in a visit to Eden, but four would be difficult.

You could rent a 3-hour dayroom at the Amari Airport Hotel, which is connected by a skybridge to the Airport. Full Service massage is available through the Relaxation Center in the hotel, or at least it used to be (haven't done it myself in several years, so I don't know if things have changed). At US$100 for S/T full service, it is very expensive by BKK standards, but still cheap as compared to many Western countries. IT's a great way to kill a few hours and you don't have to worry about traffic snarls.

just make it easier for yourself.
Call Mark in Eden, ask him for delivery.
Go to Amari Airport with them.
You pay a little more, but you will be shure sleeping on the flight out and will be drained al your fluids!!

A favorite of mine....usually (but not always), by 5 pm fishbowl has enough pickings plus the side bar/coffee house has the expensive side-liners (on the right as you face fishbowl) models.

Fishbowl, if 162 (?) Nuch is around, try her. If you try this side, ask for Joy (aka Minnie) -- she's gorgeous, service so so compared to fishbowl(but she tries).

Recent visit, one of my regulars told me business not as good due to economic problems associated with Thaksin politics, so lots of the girls taking time off.

As witn any MP, it's hit and miss.

Thanks guys for the idea, unfortunately Ceasers does have a farrang surcharge and its DOUBLE the asian rate, reports from anbother forum indicate 4,000 Baht being quoted, and this was for normal MF, 1 room stuff, not VIP suite !!
Ceasers is not for my budget, and even if it were it would be off my list for the rip in place.
Any others that you can think of, i imagin ALL of them in ratchada have them, but looking for info on prices etc.

I was quoted 2500 at Mona Lisa and when I pointed out that I knew others had come there for less, the price immediately dropped to 2000. Maybe others can comment on how much room for negotation is possible at other places also?

Being armed with that allows you to inform the Papasan you are not an idiot and what the price really is when he tries to quote you all manner of numbers way above the 'fixed price'. If he is any good, he will bite his tongue and smile and sort you out at the correct price, if he is not so clever and fears loss of face, he may try to negotiate with you or make excuses, but again, there is no negotiation back, the price is the price. I am a very seasoned visitor to MP's, admittedly not so much the central ones, but when i pop in to the central ones, even speaking some Thai and not looking like a noob in my shorts and sandals, i still get the inflated prices first, simply responding with actual price has worked every time. Indeed, then the most important information for those (like me) who only occasionally get a chance to visit LOS and taste the nectar would be a good compilation of standard rates before going in (I think I recall some info of this sort in a recent post, so no one needs to tell me to RTFF - I do that altogether too much!).

of course, results could still be falsified if a girl with hiv bribed somone, so don't use the apparent safety of massage girls at official establishments as an excuse to take risks.

this would apply to turkish baths like mona lisa, poseidon, and any official places not in immediate danger of being shut down.

of there is no sex going on at these places (ha ha!).

i have had blood tests myself to show to a previous girlfriend who didn't trust me, and rightly so. she could have trusted me to be safe, at least, but condoms break occasionally.

blood tests for hiv are quick easy and cheap, results next day.

ask for the result sheet if you need proof.

By law, all places that engage in the sex trade is "suppose" to have gals get tested. This includes all MPs, beer bars, go-go etc. The only gals that are not tested on regular basis are the freelancers (SW).The reality is different as even I have spoken to gals that work beer bars that said alot of the gals get any reports they want if they pay certain places for the lab results. Bottom line: dont rely 100% on test(could be false) and use protection.

I know several of the ladies at Eden quite well and they are most definitely tested on a regular basis for STDs as well as drug use. I know nothing about the other establishments.

Of course, as several posters have pointed out, you should always practice safe and protected sex, no matter what the policy of the establishment. That is especially important with FLers and girls in the smaller bars, as they are more likely to have STDs and less likely to get tested or treated than ladies working in the bigger places.

This may seem an odd question to many of you however here's my dilemma.
I'll be in BK for only a day with a colleague and he's asked him to take him to the best soapy in town. Well having been to CP2 on a number of occassions, I'm finding the good old fashioned soapy lilo bodyslide thing is fast becoming a service of the past. Indeed I've read similar comments on this thread some time back. No doubt in part due to the fact that it's bloody hard work for the girls!

I landed here last night. Based on recommendation here I went to a spa place in silom village. And got a nice scrub and massage for 2-1/2 hours. The masseues didn't go anywhere near little brother.

After that I went strolling all around town and went to another place opposite to the silom village and got another massage. Shit! Whats with me.

Tried again today. And guess what. Got another massage.

Just not my day (s). I looked at the mirror and the reflection hasnt changed much. Even then. Must be me.

Will try again tommorow or else its adios amigos to BKK for good.

Last Friday i visited an old favorite, Chavalla II, its an old, run down place, but its clean, the girls are fun and the quality of service has always been to my liking. thanks, my understanding of chavalla ii is that it has always been known as a bath, bj and massage place, but no fs, i know people who have had fs here, including me (only once in 50+visits though) but it was always a no-no. (kind of like sazanka being known as a hj place but sometimes, some people managed a bj) but the attitude to fs this last visit was it was definetly on the menu with her, which leads me to think it would be with many others too.
chavalla iii on the other hand is a definete full service place, without any problem, and the rooms are much, much better.

- Sideline (3rd flr) THB 2,300 to 4,500 (GREAT CHOICES!)

2. Meree - Petchburi Rd

3. Evita - Opposite Meree

4. Talawadee - Pattanakarn Rd (quite far but great place all room have jacuzzi)

- Fishbowl = THB 1,700 to 2,100
- Sideline = THB 2,500 to 3,500
- Model = THB 3,700 to 5,000 (this are real magazine models)

5. Utopia - MCOT Rd right behind Ratchadpisek rd

- Fish Bowl - sorry havent tried this yet but most likely its similar to Posiedon
- Sideline THB 2,500
- Model THB 2,700 to 4,500 (real mag models as well)

About Tarawadee, they quote me the cheapest is from 2500 which is fish tank section, and usually had very few girls. Then the sideline starts 3000 which is the most numerous sitting on the sofa. Then the super model class from 4000-6000 at the side next to sofa, every time I was there they had about 4-8 of this class on display. But I did not see any difference between 4000 to 6000 bahts girls. And even the 3000 normal sideliner can be better looking then the super class, up to your taste.

But in general I feel the level is down quite a bit since its opening about 2 years ago. And the girls on the website are never there. I don't take the time to venture there any more because I always can find the same level in other bigger shops like Plaza, Colonze, La Defonse, New Cleopatra, Utopia, Copacabana ect at cheaper prices.

By the way, Meree pricing should be straightforward, I never got cheated there. 1900 for sideline and I think 1700 for fish tank. Before 5 PM minus 200 bahts. But not many cuties there.

yes, I only found out about the regular prices and off-peak prices after I left as it was my 1st time there. I'm sure I went before 5pm and was never told about the discount, in fact, papasan went as far as charging me even more than regular price for a fishbowl gal. He also promise the gal will do this and that for me along with his personal "guarantee" of 2 shots/2 hours. I figured it was worth it so gave in to price--along with a tip to papasan for being so helpful .As you can guess, no 2 shots and not even a SOP from the gal--and 2 hrs?--the gal wanted to leave after 1 hour. Of course I went and complain to papa as he had recommended this bit** but he said he never said all those things and no guarantees--the bastard. Cant even imagine what kind of poorer advice/service I couldve gotten had I not tipped him.

Visited Hi Class MP next to Emanualled entertainment complex, last week on Ratchdipesek Road ( I hope the spelling is correct). They had a good selection of Fishbowl girls and enthusiastic too. The rooms are a bit run down though. Good fun, the charge 2200 Baht but do not have selection of models

Amsterdam on the other hand (also on the same road) but 3-4 blocks before Hi class is costlier but smaller collection of girls and more expensive, rooms are better, service is pretty standard in both places offering Soapies

I have been to CP2 three times and I've only taken the girls on the far right, the B1,700 "fully nourished" babes. After three years in BKK, I sometimes want something built for comfort )

Went to Mona Lisa last night and was quoted 2000 for 1,5 hrs. I know that the rate is 1800 for 1,5 hrs and 2000 for 2 hrs. So they also try to rip you off at times. (Outside of the Siam Hotel one of the touts later confirmed that it should have been 1800). So I left and promised them I would report it in the forums.
I should try CP2 some time, since I heard only positive feedbacks about their pricing policy.

When Giotto wrote that Mona Lisa was another tourist trap, I wondered, because I thought one can have a good time there for the amount I would have to fork out in his place only for a ladie's drink and the barfine, ending up with a girl who has 3 kids and no breasts left after the wonderbra comes off (To the girl's credit I have to say that she had a pleasant personality). But he is right. It is yet another tourist trap.

This morning I went to have a last oil massage before heading to the airport on my way back to Hong Kong. It was quite early, about 10:40, so not all the places were open jet. I went to one of the plenty small parlors in Soi 18, walking out from Town Lodge. There was only one girl in the shop yet. I asked how much for 2 hours of oil massage She said 600. "Me Massage you ok?". I was looking for someone better looking, but since she was the only one, I said ok, but cut the time back to 1 hour, expecting to try another place afterwards.

Then she turned out to be really nice. We had a lot of laughs. When the hour was almost over, she asked me if I want her to massage my liittle brother. She didn't mention anything like special, so I was not asking for the extra price. Just go and see. She did a nice job, even let me unpack her breast and play with it (with a big smile).

When finished, I took another shower and she led me to pay at the cashier, herself going to the door for seeing me off. I paid the 300 for 1 hour and went to the door. After this experience I will not go to any other place before heading to the airport, because I don't want to spoil this good feeling and it can't get better than this.

Poseidon MP should be standard one price policy for everyone. At least the several times I've been there. 500b extra??--since this MP is not on the taxi commission list there shouldnt be extra charge unless you were picking a gal not in the regular fishbowl.

It's not uncommon to charge more at some places. At Long Beach, I invited my staff once back last Sept or Oct. Four of us and one was farang -- I had to pay extra B$1,000 -- I can't remember if it was $500 per girl as he had a sandwich or whther just flat 1000.

On the other hand, Meaty never mentions paying more - maybe he has input on this?

I can confirm the prices stated by BKK-Expert.
There is a sign in the back of the fishbowl written in Chinese, that states that Asians have to pay less than Farangs.

I have once been at Poseidon with a couple of other members of this board, one was of Asian origin. Even though he was a total newbie to Thailand and I am absolutely fluent in Thai, I had to pay more than him, even after pointing out to that sign, knowing that prices can be lowered.

But the prices BKK-Expert mentioned are those for Farangs. If you had to pay an additional 500 baht above that, they simply charged you.

Ahh! I was going to link my post here, but it looks like Tiger beat me to it.

The original website from Teens is down since 2 months. But as mentioned below the geocities site is still up and running:

Teens is still operating, and the group expands. Teens I is in Soi 33, that was the first place of the group. They became famous because they hired young university students and officially offered balls massage on their menu. BTW: There is nearly nothing left from the university student concept.

Approx. a year ago they opened Teens II in Soi 24/1, same concept.

1st of July Love Teens opened in Soi 33.

1st of August they took over Patou Massage in Soi 33 and call it now Teens VIP Massage.

I was never impressed from those places, there are sometimes exceptions, if you pick the right girl - then you are lucky. Generally all Teens massage places are for me in the "avoid" category, massage skills of the ladies are on the lower end of the scale, and discipline and time management of the sessions is lousy.

There are better places in Bangkok - I will try to prepare a short overview in the next few days.

the topic of this report is the ‘new cleopatra’ massage massage parlors in bangkok, as of 2005 my favourite bkk mp. i perceived that there was a lack of reports on places frequented by locals, so here is one.

new cleo is on asoke-dindaeng road and close to the major ratchadapisek mps. its clientele is mostly asian, in fact thai, unlike the lower market darling or annies on sukhumvit. as such it’s a europeans view of the gentlemens clubs the locals frequent.

the report is also on one of my favourite girls there. she is one of the few girls i chose there who did not speak a word of english, yet she had a pocket dictionary and provided some insight into the place and her life.

*** logistics and prices

new cleopatra is on asoke-dindaeng road, dindaeng, bangkok 10320. the closest underground station is phra ram. when i checked it’s website in august 2006, it was dead – however, there was no report that new cleo had been closed down.

in 2005 prices for 2h were
fish tank girl - 2,000 baht ; sideline girl 3,000 baht; super model 5,000 baht
for caucasian foreigneres, a 500 bath farang surcharge did apply

new cleo is one of the more upscale entertainment complexes. it is not as new or big as poseidon (www.poseidon2000.com) or utopia. however, over the years it had an excellent reputation for both service and and for staffing stunners.

its clientele is mostly asian, which i find a plus: the girls there are conditioned to deal with asian and thai men, meaning they are less direct and less pushy than any girl dealing with western tourists. i do think most thai men would be offended by the way thai girls at darlings or at go-go bars interact with patrons. they expect to be pampered – and i do appreciate that as well.

i am both caucasian and very tall, which makes me stand out. sometimes that seems to annoy both asian patrons and me – they perceive me as a westerner disturbing the peace of their local gentlemen’s club, especially when girls get distracted – i dislike their extra attention. sometimes girls will be shy, cautious or sceptical to go with a chap who is much taller than they are. most of the time however, it works out as an advantage – the papas an remembered me and his tip when ws coming back even after a year and the more adventurous.

i usually tip 500b for a massage with hj, 1,000b-2,000b st and 2,000b-3,000b lt. i have even tipped 1,000b for a hj, when things got really hot (daty, fingering). i may be on the high end, but i know what happens when these girls get older and think they deserve what they can get now and what i can afford. considering i pay anywhere from $100 for a massage and hj in the states, $200-$300 for an hour or two fs in the us and canada, $350-$500 for an hour or two in japan, i don't think $10-$15 is asking too much for a hj. plus the tip is also for a nice massage as well.

annie’s is one of the most famous massage places in bangkok, most likely because it is located close to soi nana. i had heard a lot about annie’s from friends and customers, the basic feedback was always that it was a quite run-down place. after some contradicting reports i decided to check it out a few weeks ago.

the place looks quite run-down. you enter through a kind of bar on the ground level, walk upstairs to the first level of the building and get seated in front of the fish bowl. wooden furniture, a bar – ok atmosphere. though it’s in the name: i could not find a sauna in there.

around 20 girls in the fish bowl, at around 4 pm. the quality of the girls in the fish bowl was not convincing. the majority of ladies are older and a bit chubby. but i also saw 3 – 5 younger ones, a few were slim.

the rooms are big, nicely furnished, some erotic pictures on the walls, but everything is old. a general renovation would be advisable for the owner. queen size beds, a big sized bath tub.

darling caters usually western customers, tourists, it is long time established. it strictly keeps the price up at thb 2,500 per session, ever since i live in bangkok.

you walk through the door, right turn and you look towards the fish bowl already. usually 2 english speaking papasans on site.

the place is not new, but reasonable and step by step renovated over the years. the rooms are big, the bed queens size or round, the bath tubs big, it is generally clean.

i know that many of girls are working there, but i never saw more than 20 in the fish bowl. obviously many girls are always at work. the selection is average, some lookers, girls available for different tastes.

the management seams to be ok, there was never an attempt to shorten the session.the girls very much stick to their standard program, that shows that some kind of training is performed in that place.

drinks are expensive there, and the service staff tries to rip off not bringing the change back. if you order a drink have small money available.

most of the girls try to please, but their skills of course differ. but the general approach is positive. i never had a real lousy experience there. bbbj/cim is usually part of the service, some girls very skilled in that.

careful with the recommendations of the papasans, they sometimes support left-over girls, or have deals with the girls to participate in the tip. better select a girl directly.

angels is officially catering for foreigners only. it’s a place where westerners and japaneses/korean customers go. together with tulip it is the most successful operating oil massage place of bangkok of the last 2 years.

if you enter angels you will see a barber place on the right hand side, a seat group and straight on the counter. they show you the menu, thai, oil and lotion massage is on it. different packages.

the girls are selected from a photo album, most of the pictures reflect the reality quite well. there are at least 40 girls in the album, that place has one of the biggest selections for an oil massage place in bangkok. the girls are young to medium old, only a few older girls. the selection is good, girls for different tastes available.

the room where the girls are waiting for customers is next to the counter, you can also walk in there and select the girl directly there.

the rooms are not too small, a bed, small table, shower, everything quite modern, 2 – 3 years old, clean.

the management is good! girls are trained and instructed to stay with the customer the time he has paid for.

just too avoid questions: the legend “my” (also mentioned in some reports here) does not work there any more. the official statement from the management is that she got married approx. 4 months ago.

aviva is relatively new in the business, operating quite successful. it is still not well known, an insider place for bangkok expats and readers of special bangkok websites.

you walk upstairs to the counter, and opposite the counter is the room where the girls are waiting for customers. you can look over the wall into that room and select a girl directly, or choose one from the photo album.

aviva’s has not a huge number girls – that is the main problem from aviva. and the b usiness in the low season is slow, so the staff fluctuation is still big. everytime i go there some girls have left, new ones are there. there are not more than 15 girls in the photo album.

the rooms are not big, not small. they have queen size beds, a small table and a shower. everything quite new, everything very clean.

the owners / management from aviva are two ladies which worked in barons before, they know their business. the management is good, girls are trained and stay with the customer all the time he has paid for.

love teens just recently opened (july 2006) in the building of the closed hostess bar "lucky luciano" in soi 33. it ovbiously does not belong the the teens group which runs two other oil massage places directly on the oppsite side of the road.

the place was completely renovated and looks modern. if you walk in through the back entrance you directly hit the counter, where you can choose the service from a menu.

the girls are sitting in a room next to that counter. you can select the girls directly, they are lined up then, or from a photo album. there are approximately 10 - 15 girls working there in the moment.

the rooms upstairs are average sized but well equipped. downstairs is a big room with a bathtub - you can have a bath there instead of the usual shower.

the management is did not impress me up to now. the receptionist tried to push me to take two girls - an indication that the main focus of this place is pleasure, not massage.

lotus massage is the successor of the famous baron’s massage. that place was raided by the police approx. 1.5 years ago, closed for nearly 2 months, and then reopened. there are rumors about an ownership change, which i could not verify up to now.

the place looks elderly. if you walk in through the back entrance you directly hit the counter, where you can choose the service from a menu. the front door to sukhumvit is closed in the moment, some construction work is ongoing inside.

the girls are sitting in a room attached to that counter, on the left hand side was a barber shop before – i don’t know whether it is still there. there are not more than 10 girls working there any more. the quality of the girls is low, and so are their skills. it is more a massage place now, but with inexperienced and not well trained massage staff.

the rooms upstairs are small, and run-down now. no renovation was done up to now, still the old barons layout.

the management is ok, but cautious. scared that the place will be targeted from the police again.

tulip massage is (together with angel massage) in the most successful operating oil massage place in bangkok. they are catering mostly western foreigners but also japanese customers.

though the place was opened only 15 months ago the building and entrance looks a bit run-down. if you enter the place there is a small barber shop to the right, and the counter straight on. that foyer is somehow dark and does not look inviting.

there are around 30 girls working there. to select the girls they are either called to line up, or simply assigned from the receptionist. a photo album is not available. the girls are not stunning, most of them older and not really skinny. many of the girls have kids. but – those ladies are extremely experienced in their service.

the rooms are just big enough for their purpose, equipped with a bed, a shower, table. basic, not modern, clean. nothing impressive.

the owner / management – saeng and partners. for those who do not know saeng: she is the legend of barons. the girl which made barons famous and successful. her specialty was anal and prostate massage.

saeng knows what the tulip customers want. the pleasure part and all kinds of techniques and specialties are in the foreground of this massage place. some girls can also massage :) …

akane 33 is clearly catering for japanese customers. but nowadays also westerners are going there.

you walk to the entrance, through the car park before, and get seated. you select your service from the menu. basically two kinds of massage available, the lotion massage including a hj and the fashion massage including a bj (socalled “lip service” :d ) ). then some extended menu items for a 2 or even 3 girl service.

the decoration of akane is japanese, it has ambience. rooms for single girl service are upstairs, small cubicles, massage table and a table, the showers are separated from the cubicles. the 2 / 3 girl services are in rooms or the neighboring peep inn short time hotel. everything is clean.

approximately 10 - 12 girls are working in akane 33 now, average, 2 – 3 lookers. but very well trained for the service.

the management is ok, usually the sessions have a strict agenda and last as long as they last. but – some girls nowadays skip the agenda and shorten sessions.

fs is not available. bbbj is unsusual but happens. some girls use a rimming/sliding technique to make customers come. usually only one shot, but if the girls know you more is possible.

chavalla ii caters mostly for thai. it is located in the upper sukhumvit area, not too many farang customers go there.

you enter the building from the car park behind the building, see the counter in front of you and the fish bowl to the right. at least one papas an should be there, who usually speaks english sufficiently.

when i go there in the afternoons (between 2pm – 4 pm) there are not more than 15 girls in the fish bowl. the selection is average, most of the girls are older (30 up), but girls for different tastes are available.

the place looks very run down, room decoration and facilities are very old. but it is clean.

rooms are small, equipped with a bath tub, a massage table, chair, table for drinks, mirror, tv (porno movie channel available).

3.2.3. basic structure of the service

sazanka massage provides massage services korean style, basically body scrubs, hot towel massage, lotion massage and a happy ending.

you walk into the place, the counter is on the right hand side, you get seated in a seat group. a menu shows the different packages you can select.

the available girls are shown to you on cards with their pictures, the receptionist never shows more than 3 – 4 cards. the girls there are not particularly beautiful, but skilled.

the place is medium old, and so is all furniture, bath technology, massage tables etc. etc. . but very clean.

the rooms are upstairs, small cubicles, the walls not built up to the ceiling. you can hear many things happening in the other cubicles. this is a special touch this place has. there is a wet zone on ground level, where the shower and scrub activities take place.

no fs is available, it is definitely permitted by the management. bj is available, from very few of that girls.

the management is excellent. the staff is well trained, there is never an issue with shortening any time. the sazanka massage anyway lasts longer than 2 hours.

it should be clearly pointed out, that the quality of any massage experience depends mostly on the masseuse and the chemistry between the customer and the masseuse.

for that reason this report might be obsolete – in all massage places some good masseuse can be found, and even in the here recommended places disappointing experiences are possible.

Giotto has performed a real service with his comprehensive reviews. I have since tried out three of the places reviewed- Chavalla, Tulip, and Angel- and found his portrayals in all three cases to have been accurate.

My impressions:

Chavalla is kind of run-down, but I probably would have had a better experience had I chosen my provider more wisely. I probably won't go back, because for what appears to be the same class (in terms of looks and age) of the girls Tulip proved to be a far better alternative. The "girl" (in her thirties) I was lucky enough to get at Tulip, "Duk", gave the best BBBJs I've had in BKK, ever. Yes, that is plural, and she gave as much as I could stand in the 1-hour session I took.

Angel, however, was far better than I could have anticipated. I was amazed by the selection. The girl I chose (from the girls' waiting-room, not the album) was young and very cute, and it was a GFE from start to finish. Part of that may have been because I speak enough Thai to convince the girls I understand what they are saying (I comprehend around 70%). The girl, I think her name was Fang, told me that she was frightened at first because she is afraid of farangs, one of whom apparently treated her roughly in the past. I hope that sort of thing doesn't happen too often, because I got the impression that the clientele is overwhelmingly Japanese and Korean, and having lived in Japan for a very long time I am sure that if the Japanese could manage it they would ban all non-Asian (or even non-Japanese) customers. Anyway, I did my best to disabuse her of the notion that farangs are rough customers, and we had a sanook-filled two hours. In fact, in the past I had avoided MPs in the past because I prefer a less clinical, choreographed approach, but my trip to Angel showed me that it doesn't have to be that way. Perhaps I just got lucky.

Strange, some Thai girls actually prefer Farangs, but not sure why and how prevalent. Some Thai girls with tight pussys are rightly scared of Farangs with big dicks of course. Guys can occasionally even get refused for this reason.

The place is not new, but reasonable and step by step renovated over the years. The rooms are big, the bed queens size or round, the bath tubs big, it is generally clean.

I know that many of girls are working there, but I never saw more than 20 in the fish bowl. Obviously many girls are always at work. The selection is average, some lookers, girls available for different tastes.

The management seams to be OK, there was never an attempt to shorten the session.The girls very much stick to their standard program, that shows that some kind of training is performed in that place.

Drinks are expensive there, and the service staff tries to rip off not bringing the change back. If you order a drink have small money available.

Most of the girls try to please, but their skills of course differ. But the general approach is positive. I never had a real lousy experience there. BBBJ/CIM is usually part of the service, some girls very skilled in that.

Careful with the recommendations of the Papasans, they sometimes support left-over girls, or have deals with the girls to participate in the tip. Better select a girl directly.

This is a soapie/fishbowl with a good selection of girls on the northern side of Bangkok.

From the Soi all you see are large tinted windows & a heavy on the door, upon entrance there's a seating area where you can have a relaxing drink while surveying the talent.

The 3 times I've been was in early evening, numbers range from 20 to 40 girls. I noticed a large influx happens right on 8pm. In the bowl to the left, as you face it, are the 'red' girls, these are a bit older maybe approaching 40 & hence are the cheapest at 1400B. The rest of the bowl has at least a dozen girls ranging from a 4 to a 7. Price 1600B. To the left side outside the bowl, on the sidelines, are the hotties, these range from a 7 to a 9, price 1800-2200B.

The rooms are big, adequately furnished, & showing signs of wear. Queen size beds, a big sized bath tub.

The girls expect you to buy them a drink in the room, every time they've ordered tea for 25B.

The Papasans are friendly & keen to ensure you make the right choice of girl, their English is minimal.

1.3. Basic structure of the service

Bath in the bath tub, TF if they're big enough. Massage on the bed if you ask, difinitely a 1 shot arrangement but for another 500B you can have another. Services availability... you'll have to ask, My Thai isn't v good.

1.4. How to Get There

Leaving The Mall, Namwongwan, go left (towards Bang Buathong) & it's the 1st Soi you come to about a hundred metres along. The complex is the first building on the right, you can't miss the tinted windows. there's also a large Karaoke area with a huge screen around the side.
To get to The Mall, Namwongwan, take the Orange 522 bus from Victory Monument, takes only 20-30 mins for 18B.

1.5. Remarks

I've been 3 times and all were sessions that left me feeling good although a second shot would've made me feel even better.

The first time I picked a 1600B girl, slim & attractive, a 6 or 7. I can't remember anything outstanding about the service but it was the 1st soapie I'd had for many months so the bathtime was most enjoyable, & she certainly cleaned me thoroughly, including mouthwash. The sex was good, whatever positions I wanted. I didn't want a BJ or anything as the bath had me excited enough & I hadn't had sex for a week. Consequently I didn't last anywhere near as long as I like too especially as she was very tight.

I've never been to Eden's and it has gotten mixed reviews. But let me answer your question from a different perspective.

The membership I believe for non-resident is something like Baht$25,000 - good for one year and with some discounts. Cost of two girls is B$3600 for 90 minute session plus normally a tip of B$1000, total $4,600 for 90 minutes.

You could get the same deal for LT/overnight for roughly comparable amount and get as many shots as you can.....

I've been to Eden once and can offer this advice only.
Whe I was there, the gals were rated (at best) 4-6.5 . Still others may think the 6.5 was rated a 8-9 on their scale (it differs for everyone).
Turnovers happens so tomorrows visit may find 8-9 so depends on your luck also.
Service was great and its the main reason why anyone goes to EDen because much prettier gals can be found elsewhere--IMO

Conclusion: I would not pay for any advance plans until you sample the place at least once then decide for yourselve. Sort of like taking a test drive of a new car before commiting to buy.

I haven't been to an MP in Bangkok for more than 15 years. I want to go to one on my upcoming trip. I prefer to avoid Sunkumwit area MPs, since I heard they are overpriced. I have only been to Bangkok MPs twice, and both times were at the Atami. I thought it was great. (Why I didn't return is for another thread). But that was so long ago! Is the Atami still a good place? Can you recommend any other good MPs that are not in the Sukhumwit area? A good MP would be clean, have a large selection, some lookers, reasonable price, and good service. (That describes the Atami when I went there over 15 years ago.)

Basically it is a bit more expensive than for regular customer, which is opposite to most places, but the member is sure to get the ladies he wants. A VIP's booking supersedes the booking of someone who is not a VIP. Instead of 1,800 for a lady the guy will pay 2,000 for the lady. 15% discount off drinks too but since we are not a bar it is not really a big thing. The main thing is that it gives first choice on the ladies. Now we have a lot of regulars who also have their own regular ladies so VIP cards work well for them.

I liked Atami as well, but it's closed now. It was clean and service was good, but the papsans had a habit of overcharging. They also paid taxi commissions and added it to your bill. The girls were nice and so was the service, but I think they may have lost customers because of the overcharging. I don't know if that's why they closed, but it could have been a factor.

I enjoyed the BKK MP scene a lot the first time I was there because I thought the girls were prettier than those at other venues (at least the ones from Poseidon). The closest I got to getting there was the Phra Ram 9 MRT station. I found Asok-Din Daeng Road and walked along it for about five minutes before giving up because I didn’t see anything nearby that resembled a MP and it was about 10 PM and dark… I wanted to hail a taxi, but I wasn’t sure if New Cleo paid kickbacks so I decided hop back on the MRT and head to… Poseidon!

Okay, if you enjoy BKK’s public transportation system as much as I do, take the MRT to Sutthisan and use Exit 4. After the long escalator ride up to the street, look straight ahead and you should be able to see Poseidon, a tall pinkish building, approximately one block away. However, if you prefer using taxis, go right ahead because Poseidon doesn’t pay kickbacks to the drivers so nothing extra comes out of your pocket.

The regular girls are on the second floor and the sideline ones, supposedly model type girls, are on the third floor. Questions about 8's and 9's versus 5's, 6's and 7's are very subjective, almost to the point that it's meaningless to discuss. What's important is finding a lady whose company and services you enjoy. To have the biggest chance of seeing the full range of Eden ladies, get there early (about 12.45 p.m.) and ask to see the full line-up for the day. If you see around 30 ladies in the line-up, that's pretty full. Based on Giotto's excellent and comprehensive review of MP's I decided to pay Orient Massage a visit (before it was "downgraded" recently). The place is really easy to find from the Prom Phong BTS station. The receptionists will let you choose from the various options (1/1.5/2 hrs, oil etc.) and a girl from either the photo album or the line-up. You pay up front for the massage (depending on time and type of service) and directly to the girl for any special service(s) - between 1500 Bt. for FS (1 round) and 2500 Bt. for FS (2 rounds).

On my first visit I was initially a bit disappointed by the line-up, but was relieved to see at least one really cute one (whose name I promptly forgot, sorry). So it's better to tip in line with Thai standard, or don't even tip because most Thai customers do not tip. Nobody is really expecting you to tip 500 or 1000 bahts. Whether the girl expects a big tip or not depends somewhat on the starting price. If the price is truelly all inclusive then no tip is expected.
On the other hand Chaopraya II Borarn ("ancient healing") Section used to only charge 300-400 Baht which was for massage but not including sex.
For sex a quality girl might ask for an additional 1000 Baht tip (so total might be 1500 Baht including drinks). Some girls would not be happy to do it for less than this. Hard up or less attractive girls might do it for less.
In these circumstances the girls had to rely on extra cash for sex to make money. The massage part was paying a pitiful amount so Thai customers would still give extra tip even if they wanted massage only.
Anyhow establishment found that too often girls were upset after customer failed to pay agreed extras for sex, so now have changed to all inclusive price up front (particularly certainly nationalities best left unmentioned thought they were smart to get the sex for free even though agreeing to pay first).

Next time she wouldn't try it to avoid loosing the 300B tip. The reason this is happening at all is that weak guys succumb to their demands. Farangs (from all continents) are killing the scene. In Japan the level of service does not typically deteriorate with price increases - it has to do with their culture. It merely develops more chancers, who if handled correctly will soon retract, and if they don't, simply move on to the next.
I've lived here for 8+yrs now, and the cost of living has certainly risen, P4P prices have not, if a few extra baht from me to the girl ends up costing you more, send me an invoice :D

Tips should be not more then 10% if you are completely satisfied compared to your avarage experience - like all over the world 10% to appreciate the girls performance (don´t mix this up with love :-))

Most of the guys tipping thai (asian) beauties because this is the only place in the world where they can look like some kind of generous hero! Don´t think that they tip in theire home countries.

After reading about Aviva I decided to squeeze in an hour fun over lunch. Aviva is just so super conveniently located, about 100 meters from Nana BTS. Place overall looks a bit on the cheap side though. Little cabins with used beds, stale odor in the air. But hey, did not visit for the interiors, plus I had ordered Lisa by phone.

Cant totally agree as my previous post had already mention that some countries (including mine), tipping is the establish norm. Some services --workers are barely paid minimum and their sole income really comes from the tips earned
It is about 15% tips from where I come from for normal service. I dont expect everyone to give these amounts but its a scale I go by even in LOS as its just a habit for me.--IMO

Landed at the super-new airport in the early afternoon, and sped through the official processes to be on my way in a Taxi Meter in about 50 mins. Even the run into Bangkok was great – right up to the last 3k (2 miles) when reality intervened and Bangkok traffic showed how little it’s changed over the years!!! 40 mins for the last leg. How to get there

It's a bit out of the way but if you are around Silom... a quite nice place to drop in. Directions.... if you take the skytrain, get off at Saladeng (patpong stop). Just a 100 paces up from the Central shopping center is the little street of Saladeng. Turn right onto Saladeng. It's about 400 paces up that road and you'll see signs for Anne's coffee shop and just opposite a little sign for Ogoto Massage. At the end of a short Soi, there it is. I just about turned around in my search for the place. It's farther from Silom than I thought but worth the walk. I was the 1st customer of the day so the ladies were very happy to see me. I selected miss Um who is now 24. They had a range of younger gals but I wanted an experienced hand applying the ball massage treatment. For those that prefer the public transport I heard that there is a new aiport aircon bus (#551) that leaves central bangkok, follows Rama IX all the way to the airport and stops off at the delights of both places on way. Overall, I'd have to say it was so-so. Place was a bit run down and the service just OK.

I am a frequent patron of MP, kinda of like the 90-120 minutes of quiet time.

My standard last two years has been:

1. MP that provide 2 hrs, 2 shots: if service so so, no tip, if good B$300 and if exceptional B$500. Such MP usually are in the B$1500-2000 range, although I understand the $1,500 has increased to $1,700 (eg Catherine's, LoveBoat)

2. MP that provide less than 2 hrs, one shot only: if service so so, no tip, if good B$200 meaning second shot and if exceptional B$500 (exceptional defined as second shot :D). These are the in town places like Poseiden, Entertainment Plaza, Champ Elysee, etc.

In most of these MP, keep in mind provider has to give the housekeeping girls B$100 (these are the ones that bring you drinks, the provider's little box of goodies, cleans room/sheets, etc.).

I also agree with you and others that tips for BJ and HJ - like why when standard should be for FS only?

Bus #551 seems like a doable option on my next trip there. I could take taxi from hotel to Catherines on my last day,then 2hrs of MP relaxation (loosen me up for my 19+ hours flight home) then use the local bus 551 to the airport to catch flight.
Now, does anyone have any idea how often Bus #551 runs, how long will it take (time) from Catherines to the airport and what are the hours of operation for this bus line (24hrs?)

I am not a big fan of HJ but I think 500b tip for just a mere HJ is off the mark as some gals that give only HJ dont even take off all their clothes. For 500b, I could get FS in pattaya. Read some bloke on this forum was paying 1000b for HJ and then tips her 500b=total 1500b just for a HJ, better to save the money and simply do it yourselve-as this is the price for FS.
I think this high pricing scale is often posted by short time visitors that have too much money to burn (and dont give a rats ass what the rates are--hear it all the time: spent thousands of dollars to get here so whats a few hundred bahts!) or just plain ignorant with no clue whats going on --or combination of all of above.---

Tarawadee is about twenty minutes away from Sukumvit with no traffic. With traffic, I don't really know because I never attempted it. There are some taxis that won't take you there because they don't want to get stuck in traffic. The location is on Petchaburi road but it is not called Petchaburi road after about ten minutes of driving straight. It is on the right hand side of the road and can't be missed. I am pretty sure it was 2 hrs. for the regular fishbowl and 1.5 hrs. for the sideliners. I only did one shot and came down and I think that is the norm unlike Catherine's where two shots is the norm. I totally appreciate that with all thats on offer in Thailand a simple 'rub n tug' might seem silly. The phone sex stuff - totally agree but as with everything in this world, everyone to their own.
