I posted this in the general Bogota section also before I realized this thread existed. Suppose I shoud RTFF but right now am on a slooooow connection in the hinterlands so it's a bit tough at times.

Anyway, here's my question:

Is the Intercontinental Hotel the same as the Crown Plaza Tequendama Hotel near Santa Fe?

Anyone with any advice regarding this place? (girl friendly, close to the action, etc? )

Thanks,

Reef

Have any forum members stayed at above hotel? The address is Carrera 13#85-80cundinamarca. Is this hotel in good area? I mean safe part of Bogota.

Is it girl friendly if I book double room and and any list of good casa close to hotel.

I will greatly appericiate any help. Or advice.

JI have seen this question on the Sofitel asked a number of times, here is the definite answer. Yes the Sofitel will let you bring in a companion, if you have a single room you will need to pay the price difference with a double room, which should be around 10 or 20 USD and the hotel insists that the chica must have an original Cedula (Colombian ID) or passport if she is from another country.

The hotel is in a safe area (lloks safe to me day and night), within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) of Casanova / Extasis / Copacabana's /Lancaster's although these may not be considered good places, depending on who you ask. It is about a 20 minute walk (take a taxi) to Zhivago, which according to me is on the corner of 93a and CR17, not CR19 or CR18 as the address would suggest. I spent quite a bit of time looking for it, hopefully I did find the right place! Planning to report after I go there.

Some of you must have had bookings with bogotacasa.com and deal with the agent, TREVOR. I had a reservation with him for 1 week and had paid the down payment and security fee via paypal. Upon arrival, I was told by Trevor that the owner had renegade on the rental fee and wanted more money. Trevor said that he told the owner to go to hell. He then told me I had 2 options. He had a luxury apartment for 190 K a night or he could return my deposit & security fee. I was skeptical and ask for my money back. When I ask him if that's all he could do for me, he said welcome to Colombia buisness. The driver who met me at the airport drove me around in Zona Rosa until I found a hotel. Although I ended paying around 200k, I had a junior suite w breakfast and wi-fi and no companion fee as I make sure I had a matrimonial booking. However, it was double the money I orginally would have spent in my reservation with Bogotacasa. Aside from that, I had a fabulous time in Bogota.

I do not know if it is chica friendly, but their Rates start at US$150. It sounds like a nice hotel, but too expensive.

http://www.hotelcasareal.com.co

Try the Saint Simon. They charge around US$60-70. Right in the middle of Zona Rosa.

Suite 85 and 87 are higher priced.

Ok guys, I've RTFF, and have narrowed it down to:

1)Suite Real 85
2)Suite Real 97
3)Saint Simone
4)Chile Inn (Best Western)
5)Bogotacasa.com (for apt)
6)Bogota Plaza

Could someone please tell me the best way to go here? I don't want to spend more than around $100-110 and of course it's gotta be hassle-free chica friendly!

Please advise! Thanks in advance!

Please forgive the redundancy, guys - I just posted in the regular Bogota section.

Hotel St. Simon wants 194K for a regular room, plus 90K "guest fee." That's ridiculous. Embassy Suites sounds great but not near Zona Rosa or in a good neighborhood (true?). What about Suites 85 or 97?

Thanks for any advice!

I stayed at Charlie's Place about a year ago.. rooms were large and about $70 per night. Free breakfast, mini-bar, and had a couple computers with internet in lobby. the rooms were not the nicest i have been in but they were large and staff very nice. http://www.hotelcharlies.com/ There is also a dating/marriage agency connected to the hotel on the other side of the building.

I just booked a double-occupancy penthouse at the Suites Real for COP 210,000. That's about US$87.50 per night. Not bad.

And they said that as long as a girl doesn't spend the whole night there's no charge for visitors.

Just make sure when you arrive, and the security guard take your travel suit to your room give him 10,000 Cop, and you will be set, you just have to ask the Guy what you need.

Remember to have at hand the address of the hotel, so when you go and ask for a taxi from the airport . should not cost you more than 20000 Cop.

Any other cuestions Jus ask me, you may not have any problem having one of the girls spend the night with you, thas why you are paying for doble ocupancy

Price: $60, $70 in December

My review:

Great Apartment. It's located right in between Centro and Zona Rosa/Parque 93. The two areas where I spent most of my time. The apartment is newly renovated. It is a studio but a big one, and for a solo traveler, it is everything you need.

Andres was great. Every detail was taken care of. I have asked for 8 towels, they were there. I have asked for one maid service, it was arranged at exactly the time I've asked for without me being there and just arriving to a clean apartment. Our conversions reminded me of Tarantino movies. Every word spoken had a meaning without any unnecessary words wasted. I would surely rent the place again.

Suggest staying ar Hotel El Virrey, www.Hotelvirrey.com. Located in centro. Nice boutique hotel. Safe neighborhood during the day. Plenty of eating and shopping places. Convinent location. Walking distance to the Gold Musuem, La Candaleria and the National Musuem. Cost includes breakfast. No taxes are charged. Extermely secure. Rooms are large. Ask for a grande room (no extra cost) which includes a LCD TV with numerous English programming. 90210, Melrose Place, Married with Children, Seinfeld, E Channel, movie channels, etc. Left side of hotel is much quieter.

At night suggest not walking around. Extremely nice, professional and bilingual staff. Girl friendly. Close to Santa Fe.

Maybe a 12.000 cab ride to Chicas Milineo during the day. Higher during the evenings. Forget trying to get a cab to take you there during rush hours.

Suggest staying ar Hotel El Virrey, www.Hotelvirrey.com. .I stayed at the Virrey in 2007 and enjoyed it for $30 but it is now 80k and that starts to crimp my hobby budget. I appreciate the list as a supplement to my online search but many prices have increased since it was created. I have lots of Emails out as some, like the Hotel Americano and Hotel Dorantes websites, don't list prices. I found the Suites Basicas Inn http://www.Hotelbogotainn.com promising at 50k but it is far from a bus stop.

I'll be there in August and will post my search results for the poor but happy foristas like me. Any help at 50k or less is appreciated.

CheersI would say the "Salitre" area (Av. El Dorado) meets your needs, given that you don't want to visit the more important party and nightlife districts of the city, that tend to be far from the Corferias area.

Salitre is mainly a residential zone, but during the last few years some of the nice (not so expensive) food chains (Wok, El Corral, Crepes & Waffles, etc.) have been opening restaurants in this area. There's even a Bogota Beer Company pub somewhere near, surely full of beautiful non-pros and good handcrafted draft beers.

The Gran Estacion mall has a huge food court on the top floor, and lots of eye candy, especially at noon, when many young girls who work in public and private offices around this area go to grab their lunch there.

But again, Corferias and this whole area seem to be far from the main hot spots of the local nightlife. Since you'll be in the Fair area by day, and riding cabs at night isn't such a good idea in Bogota, I'd advise you to look for lodging in an zone close to whatever it is you want to do at night, and pay cabs during the day.

I'll be in Bogota 8/26-9/5 with a friend on vacation. We'll hit some casas as well as work during the day (need wifi) and go out a bit at night.

Any suggestions? I thought of Zona Rosa because it seems to be popular, but we really just want a nice, comfortable apartment in a fun, busy location.

2 bedrooms, furnished, cheapish.

Hey guys,

I would rather stay in apartament or studio instead of a hotel.

I have had some exchanges with places I have found in the web and on lists here. At least a couple of the places have left me wondering if I am not in for some kind of ripoff.

Does anyone know of a thread that details which places are BS or people not to do biz with?

Thanks!

This would be the closest thing to the Mansion.

If they are still open, the owner has not replied to a monger about a reservation.

Is there anything like the Medellin Mansion in Bogota?

I ended up renting at www.viaggio.com

They have locations at different parts of the city. The one I stayed at is the "Dorms" which is located in Chapinero.

The place is safe, nice, very friendly staff. It was 120K per day for a studio, doable but I thought a bit pricey for what it was. Oh, breakfast included and reasonably close to Transmilenio.

I would not mind staying there again but I think I am going to try and find something in Candelaria next time.

Guys, Californian in need of some help. I am reading through this forum but there doesn't seem to be a lot of updated info. Can anyone suggest 3* for about $75. This will be for the night before my departure. So maybe a place convenient for airport route but still close enough to do all the Bogota Touristy stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have stayed at the Hotel St. Simon, a few times.

They have a couple or rooms on the top floor that would cost you only $60-70.
My buddy and I never made a reservation, we just showed up.

They always quote higher prices online.

Sorry I never asked about what they charged for a guest.

Please forgive the redundancy, guys. I just posted in the regular Bogota section.

Hotel St. Simon wants 194K for a regular room, plus 90K "guest fee." That's ridiculous.

Embassy Suites sounds great but not near Zona Rosa or in a good neighborhood (true?). What about Suites 85 or 97?

Thanks for any advice!

Hi.

Checking out Trip Advisor I first fond very few 5stars hotels in Bogota, and I'm considering staying in the newer Marriot in Bogota. Yet I read about a poster having troubles when trying to bring in a girl to his Casa Dann Carlton room. Is that standard in Bogota high end hotels? If not which one could you recommend close to the action. Or even far from it? Do you have personal experience to share with The Marriott?

Thanks.

I stayed here and liked the place. Nice large rooms with living room, bedroom, bath and kitchen. The website is.

http://www.celebritiessuites.com/.

It is somewhat of a combo place where there are many permanent residents. Most of the other guests are businessmen. Probably best for guys who like to do their screwing offsite. The guest policy is no charge before 10 PM and 70000P after 10 PM. I needed earplugs to sleep. Double-paned the windows would be an improvement. Easy 10 minute walk to the multitude of massage places between Calle 62 to 72 and CR 14 to 20. These places charge the same as the mezzanine places at 104 and 15 but you have your own separate room.

How close is this hotel to the popular regular clubs? OK. As an experiment I tried to make reservations for 1 and 2 people. I was quoted different prices. So I must have reserved for 1 person and was subject to a charge. If you intend to have a person each night then book for two. Close enough to the clubs. Taxis are inexpensive but it might be better to be closer to Calle 90. Celebrity Suites is on Calle 74.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and no extra chardge upto 5 people.

I called to confirm. Even on their website when you select 2 or 4 people the price per night is same.

The location is a little further away from where Celebreties is but less expensive.

What regular clubs / discos have you found that have both WG and regular girls?

I have looked through the classifieds for apartments in Bogota available just from Internet search, and have found significant numbers of apartments (marketed towards locals) , which seem to be nice and reasonably priced. I was wondering, does anybody know what the typical terms of such apartmentsin Bogota are are? Do they typically require a lease (for 12 months?) or are they month to month. Am interested in something for like maybe 4 months or so.

I tried renting Bogota Apartments through these guys but they tried scamming me! I reserved a place with a man named Trevor who is the owner of www.bogotacasa.com. When I arrived in Bogota he did not have the place to rent to me he promised. Instead, he offered me a more expensive place. The old bait and switch scam. I turned my back on this scammer Trevor at NMCA "bogotacasa.com"! There are lots of complaints about this guy all over the internet.

I later contacted the people who had their a website listed on his website and they told me he did not have permission to do this! Apparently Trevor cheated them out of money and refused to take their listing of his site. Go figure!

This guy is a broker and does not own any property of his own. He is a middle man who charges outragious prices of any of his Bogota Apartments!

Recently an ISG member asked me to check out a few hotels in the Santa Fe barrio, right in or next to the red light district.

3 of them were on Calle 22 between Carrera 15 and 16. 2 looks okay but were on the side of the street with the transvestites. The third was across the street and looked more like a HOTEL and less like a MOTEL.

Hotel Gualcalá
Calle 22 No 15-24
El Centro, Bogotá
Tel +57 3 243 1076.

Rooms are 30000 peos per night (about $16 USD). There is a 10000 peso charge to bring in a girl to your room. Every room has a flat-screen TV and a bathroom. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor. It looked very reasonable, not new, but clean and organized. However, it was full (good sign) so I couldn't look at a room.

Around the corner. 100 meters closer to the clubs, is a new hotel, Santa Fe Suite, that was mentioned by another ISG member in this post:

This place is brand new. They have good security to get in, they sell snacks at reception. There is no restauant. All rooms have flat-screen TV and bathroom. The rate is 30000 pesos per night. 10000 chica fee. I went up to see a room. The rooms were new and clean, but simple (what do you expect for $16?). They are all in a square with a balcony around a small inner plaza for parking, about 4 stories high, with a transparent roof to bring in the light to every room (big windows). Like a cheaper and smaller Embassy Suites hotel!

Both seem reasonable. I liked the new hotel a bit better. It is a shorter walk to the strip clubs etc.

Of course, every girl warns me that this area is dangerous at night, so if I was staying there I would time my night-time 1 block walk to the busy club area for when there is a policeman on the corner (there is lots of police protection in this neighborhood, but people still get mugged and even killed occasionally).

I stayed in Bogota for 3 years in a rented apt. I no longer stay there. As I stayed in a long term rented apt I never bothered to find out short term rental apts. I used to stay in Chico. A costly area. My girl friends used to visit me in the apt without any problem. They stayed there overnight many times.

I plan to visit Bogota in Jan 2016. I need an apt for 7 days around Chico / Unicentro / Zona Rosa / Chapinero area where I can bring girlfriends without any question or additional payment. Request first hand recommendation with cost from the experienced members. I prefer apt to prepare my kind of food.

I can recommend chicas if you wish to have. Thanks in advance.

After using google it seemed like Click Clack might be a good guest friendly hotel but I wanted to send them an email first to double check. This is the response that I received:

"We do allow this, but it have an extra charge. We only allow an additional guest for 60.000 COP but he / she must be registered at the moment of the check -in; on the contrary if they are not registered the fee is of 180.000 COP. The maximum capacity per room is two pax."

That is the most stupid guest policy I have ever seen. It seems like she is trying to say there is a 60 k fee for checking in with 2 people. 180 k if you register later. For a hotel that tries to be a hip party hotel, I just don't understand.

Crazy.

Crazy.I've never stayed at the Click Clack hotel (my disclaimer). But, I've been to the bar. I'd be surprised if you couldn't take your guest to either the basement or rooftop bars for a cocktail and then via elevator to your room. The couple of times that I've been there, my impression is that there were a couple of chicas hanging out that were available to the hotel patrons, of whom a notable percentage were extranjeros. No doubt, though, that if you ask for permission, they'll likely inform you of the registration rules and fees.

Anyone know a good hotel at Santa Fe that is right in the mix, Meaning I can open my window, drink a cold one and look down and see all the action.

I know its a seedy area and I am not looking for a premo hotel. Just want the basics and for a low $11 a night price. I did find one on Airbnb for $11. I sent him a note asking if there are chica friendly but have had no response. I also saw other hotels on google maps right smack in the middle. But its hard to make a decision without being there. For example at the Mayorista in Medellin, I usually get a $10 hotel one street over to be in the mix and it always works out well.

I am an experienced monger that is street savy, I look colombian and I speak spanish so I can manage quite well.

My only concern is safety of my belongings when I am not in my room and the room must not have bed bugs. LOL. Other then that I can manage.

Hello,

Looking to stay about a month or more in the Laureles area. Other than airbnb. What companies do you guys use to look for furnished apartments? Also, what is the monthly rent I should expect to pay?Probably want to post this on the Medellin Hotels and Rental Apartments thread. This one is for Bogota bro!

Whats the difference BTW staying at a hotel vs apartment? Will women including escorts, come to an apartment as easily as a hotel? The difference is one is an apartment and the other is a hotel room. Whether or not prepagos will come to either depends on the management. Some places won't allow guests, some places will. Some will only allow a limited number of guests and some will charge extra for each one. It's best to ask about the guest policy before you book.

Getting ready for my trip to Bogota and looking at lodging now that I'm getting a grasp on the lay of the land. For too long, I've relied on Booking.com (and its sibling, Agoda) to be my go-to resource for hotels when I travel. It has always worked well enough for me in Asia, but I don't think it enough options in Colombia. Places I have found on Google maps and also just walking around in Medellin are not to found on the English language lodging sites. I realize that there are some Spanish language booking sites that do seem to focus on Latin America in particular. Does anyone have a recommendation or one that they prefer.

Thanks.

Well, I didn't get any feedback regarding alternate sources for hotels when I inquired about it last July. Are we stuck with the usual online hotel booking sites, or are folks just unable to respond?

So I fell back on old faithful, Booking.com, albeit I saw there was more to choose from than their inventory once I got in Bogota. In any case, Booking.com got me where I needed to be, so here is what I choose.

Hotel Case Guillermo. Carrera 20 A # 72 A-17, Barrios Unidos, 111211 Bogot, Colombia.

This small hotel is located just west of carrera 14 in a largely commercial area. I choose it because it was walking distance to many casas that were on World Travel's Bogota map. It is just a block up from Spa Tantra, and a few blocks from Chicas 2000 (recommended) and Chicas Milenio (not recommended, see my trip reports for details). Other casas on this side of Cr. 14 are also in easy walking distance. You can walk to the nicer commercial areas of Champinero in less than 10 minutes and maybe a bit longer to Pussy House. Not too many good dining options in the area except for the usual Colombian stuff. Nicer restaurants are on the other side of cr. 14.

Not that cr. 20 a is a short carrera that is an extension of cr. 16 after you get past calle 72. Also note the cross street, calle 72 a is another oddball street, being a block up from calle 72. I mention that because you can get confused walking around late at night and I think cab drivers can get confused, as well.

Overall, a good basic budget hotel, which is advertised for just under $20 a night. However, the charge was not taken on my card by Booking.com rather you pay cash at the hotel. When I paid at the hotel it was closer to $23. This is not a typical ripoff, but some nuance of Bogota hotels on Booking.com though I never saw this occur in Medellin. However, hotel reviews indicate that guests indicate paying a bit higher (or even a lot higher) when they check in due to additional fee collected by the hotel and taxes. Read the fine print. I don't know what its about, but I don't like it. However, I don't see any chicanery on the hotels' part as it is some weird way that Booking.com is doing things in Bogota. Read other people's reviews of the hotels and you can see similar tales of an extra charge at the hotel. In many cases the fine print under the price on the website will list a minimal tax or a huge surcharge per night. Caverat emptor.

But now to the nice stuff. The girls who worked the front spoke no English but were really sweet. In fact, I flirted with them shamelessly and they seemed to like the attention, as well. I don't know if it is chica friendly or not. I was in retail punting mode this time. The room was very basic but clean and it was quiet so I slept well enough. The windows looked out to an open space between the next room, not to the exterior of the hotel. I stayed in a hotel in Medellin that had a similar setup. Little daylight peeked in but that was great for those who want to sleep in. The place had not AC or heat that I could see but the temperature was just right. Recommended if you want to stay in that area and are on a budget. Otherwise, I recommend trying to stay on the other side of cr. 14.

Hotel San Francisco de Asis. Cra 10 # 23-63,110010.

This hotel is located in the CBD near the museums and the Colpatria Tower. It is a typical mid-20th century high-rise (10 floors) with a typical large lobby and a breakfast lounge up on the second floor where they serve a daily, complimentary breakfast. For the monger, the best feature is its proximity to Santa Fe while not being in Santa Fe. I walked over there two nights in a row. The surrounding area is not a nice place at night, but neither is Santa Fe, so it matters little for our purposes. For sightseeing, the commercial area on the other side of the carrera is interesting with inexpensive dining options and some interesting shops. Its also an easy walk down to Candelaria for the tourist stuff. According to the monger map, street walkers are located a few blocks down. Barber shops, a pharmacy selling cheap Sildenafil and a convenience store are on the adjacent blocks. The Transmilenio stops out front if you want to give that a try.

The downside is the street noise that comes from below all the way up to the 9th floor, where I stayed. Also there are no blackout shades so the light shining in is annoying. Both noise and the morning sun ruined my last day there by denying me the rest I needed and waking me up before 6 AM. I would not stay there again for that reason. At least my room overlooked Santa Fe. I would attach a few photos to this but the photo upload tool keeps failing me today.

Cost was just over $20 a night on Booking.com so it was an okay deal for an business type hotel in a convenience neighborhood and a free (but mediocre breakfast).

First time staying here hot Hotel Ibis Museo Bogota. Usually I stayed at San Francisco. This place is way better. Literally right outside hotel door lots of restaurants and cool little cafes and bars right outside. Super quiet rooms. No street noise. $58/ night and I can confirm it's chica friendly. 5 minute walk to hotel San Fran. 15 minute walk to Santa Fe. Or 8 K Taxi. I just walked to Santa Fa and back at 11 am for a morning treat at the casa. Back in room resting. Will walk to Atunes in a few hours for the afternoon delight.

I would actually recommend the San Francisco.

I will try out Hotel Ibis on my next visit.

Just booked this hotel from 15-25 Nov.

Just wondering if it is guest friendly. I have booked a junior suite for 2 persons. I am ok to change the hotel to another one in Chapinero though.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Hey guys,

I am coming to Bogota in mid-December (first time in Colombia, very excited) for business and will be staying at the Grand Hyatt for the first 5-6 nights. I have been looking around for any reports on whether the hotel is girl-friendly, but can't find anything here, or on a search on the wider web. Best I have done is the suggestion that 'most business hotels are girl-friendly'. I could have guessed that, but. I will also call them to ask, but wondered if anyone here could offer experience on the matter?

Also, it seems like the Grand Hyatt is well away from any action, so will likely move for the last 4 nights. Currently thinking to just stay in Bogota, but did play with the idea of Cali or Medellin. Do people have recommendations of good places to stay for the last nights? Was leaning towards the Hotel Ibis Bogota Museo?

Many thanks,

BH.

Is this a different hotel San Francisco? For most recent GF hotels ask the question to Woodman as he lives in the Santa Fe area and will give up to date accurate information.

Yes every time when I check into Hotel San Francisco they know why I am there, hehehehe the Tall Man pervert is back in town, so they inform me about girl charges should I desire to bring them to my room.

Yes they stated 50 mil extra and why not, she was not with me at check / not registered and the breakfast cost something. Know that I don't like the idea of bringing girls back to my room so never wanted as I use the rooms in Santa Fe.

Again check or send PM to Woodman.

Have fun!

I am going to Bogota next month. I already have a girl lined up, and looking at giving her name when checking in, but she will not be with me during check-in, she will arrive later. I'd suggest looking for a hotel in that area.

I'd also suggest that you rethink trying to shack up with a stranger. There's way too many potential problems, ranging from minor headaches to life threatening. I'd do a few trial runs with her before having her move into the hotel with me.

The Tall Man.Well, one reason why not, is that if you're already paying double occupancy, they shouldn't give a fuck whether your girl eats the most important meal of the day or stays hungry.

These charges are a legalized scam, nothing more, nothing less.

I can understand hotels that won't let hookers in because, well, they might not want low-class women tarnishing their establishment. But as it is the case for most hotels in Colombia and many around the world, they have no issues with hookers -- for the right price, that is.

This is dishonest, and I personally hate these practices. I mean, it's their hotel, and they can do whatever the fuck they want, but those are scammy charges to pad the bottom line, not unlike so-called resort fees. Just my $0. 02.

Where in the hell did they come up with that BS. Just give me the total price, and leave out those stupid fees. It makes it harder to book when you are checking out prices at different hotels as some use it, and others don't. BTW I used to be a big fan of Las Vegas, but I now hate the place as it seems they are the ones who started that BS.

I'm debating between two Marriott properties so I can use points for my stay in September. Does anyone have thoughts about either and do you know if they are girl friendly? I have a reservation for 2 people so hoping to avoid any issues here if I bring a girl back to the room.

AC Hotel Zona T - https://goo.gl/maps/fYsNZuWGjpjkxVMK7.

Right next door to the Zona Norte nightclubs
Brand new property build
Walking distance to massage parlors
Farther away from Zona Tolerencia

JW Marriott Bogota - https://goo.gl/maps/DybJGJ4ThHMu8vgK9.

Far nicer higher-end property
Likey to get a suite with multiple bathrooms - outdoor balcony
Farther away from night clubs
Potential walking distance to some
Farther away from Zona Tolerencia

I'm a big strip club guy. Love to go and watch (get dances) from the girls and eventually take one home. Is this the club vibe in Zona Norte, or something more akin to Pussy's house?

I stayed at JW. Yep, it's posh. I didn't have a problem bringing a chica in, although I only did it once. I did however told her to dress very nicely, but she was an experienced escort and knew that already. I met her outside, had a quick bite at the caf next door, and we walked in hand in hand like we owned the place. No one bat an eye. She also told me that JW would stop girls that looked "whorish" LOL.

Also, the lounge is wonderful if you're platinum or willing to pay extra. Of course, that was pre-pandemic.

I liked staying there, and cabs are cheap and plentiful.

I have the sense from reading the "house rules" of some suites rentals that they do not say "no guests allowed" and the absence of such statement I take as there is no issue.

The real question IMO is whether you want some unknown girl in your actual residence. I have this question for the more experienced colleagues here.

There are some scenarios that make me queasy. First she comes and explores the place, and then, next day she comes back, with her boyfriend, and takes your stuff or worse.

Meeting up in a motel is perhaps better. But I am torn, because I like to have a girl over night, there is just nothing better than wake up to a warm chica in the bed and go at it still half asleep. But then there is the warning "do not fall asleep with a WG in your room", lock away your valuables at least (safe in the room).

This is where the love hotels come in handy. Once I stayed at Motel Kong in cientro Medellin, and there the staff was checking entry and exit of the chicas, with the call whether I liberate her. This is something you can't really have in a normal hotel, let alone an AirBnB or suite apart-hotel.

What say you?

BTW all Woodman's reports of the talent in the area are correct I got a rate of around $18 per night. Room had a safe and good Wi Fi. And a comfortable bed. Breakfast was the best I have ever gotten free in a hotel.

I spent two weeks in October 2021 in Bogota. Comparing with pre-Covid time it's a less choice in Chapinero casas and a lot less quality service. I spent two weeks, mostly in Santa Fe doing two or three girls a day, using Viagra. Again, the choice is not too great. Street girls cost 40 mil for 15 to 20 min. In reality, the motel staff knock at the door in maximum 10 min. I fucked maybe 6 or 7 street girls. The experience, like you are fucking a rubber doll that was fucked before you for two weeks without getting shower. And that was zero involvement. In my experience, the best choice is Troya maybe 10 girls around 6-8/10. The best choice I saw in these two weeks. I fucked there a half of pole dancers and if you know how manipulate Spanish chica mind and how to play on their self-esteem you will get 120% fuck with 120% involvement. I did two girls in Paisas but not impressed and again the choice is a lot less and lower quality. If you will be in Troya try a pole dancer Sussana and share your experience here. I fucked a lot girls in my life but she was an experience I've never had before. In my two weeks, I visited Santa Fe two three times a day to see what is going on there before noon around 2 pm and after 6 pm. To mid night. My experience is, the same girls for two weeks on my scale 0-5 /10. Sundays were very slow everywhere. Mondays and Tuesdays were slow in the clubs.

Has anyone stayed at the new Hyatt Place Bogota hotel? Anyone know about its girl friendlyness? It's a great hotel. 100% girl friendly. No charge to bring girls up and I brought 3-4 per day sometimes. The only issue is you do have to go to the front desk where they make a copy of the girl's cedula. It's sometimes a little awkward standing there registering the girl or getting odd looks with your 2nd or 3rd girl on a given hotel worker's shift. But otherwise, it is great for bringing in SA girls or escorts.

Downside: the restaurant sucks and your Rappi choices are limited. Domicilios doesn't even deliver to the area.

Experienced guys,

When a woman comes to see you at San Peter's apartments, do you need to go to reception to register her and escort her up or is she allowed to take the elevator if you let security know.

And is having two chicks come to your room OK or does management frown at this practice or wants extra $$?

Does anyone have experience with the Hilton Bogota in Chapinero? I read on another site that they charge for unregistered guests and the hotel responded it was a Colombian tax, but wanted to know how much.

I've seen a couple people ask about the guest policy for the Sofitel Bogota Victoria Regia hotel in Chapinero. Some sites say it's girl friendly, but I reached out to the hotel directly and found out the following:

If you've booked a room for 2, but you are by yourself: you can bring a second person to your room for free between 8 AM and 8 PM. After 8 PM, it's $100 USD (much more expensive than the other hotels in the area that also charge for guests).

You cannot have 3 people in your room at all. The 3rd person is only allowed in the lounge or restaurant.

Due to the crazy high guest fee after 8 PM, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you're fine with paying a lower guest fee, the Hilton and JW Marriott are both nearby. I've reached out to the Hilton for specifics and will post the reply here.

Just a follow-up to my last post: I emailed the Hilton Bogota in Chapinero and found out they charge $39 per visitor to your room regardless. Combined with the fact that this is one of the most expensive hotels in the area, I decided to go look at local hotels and Airbnb.

I received this email following my request about policies rules at Hilton Bogota:

"Dear Mr. XXXX.

If you book for two adults, and you check in alone, the second adult registered on your room will remain the same during your stay.

Additional guests will be extra charged for USD $ 39.00 and must be registered at Front Desk with valid ID".

"The second adult registered on your room will remain the same during your stay." What does that mean, no extra change for the 2nd person.

"The second adult registered on your room will remain the same during your stay." What does that mean, no extra change for the 2nd person. If you book for 2 people, you can add the name of a girl as your second person during booking (which not may be possible if you don't know any girls ahead of time). That girl can go to your room anytime without charge. If you show up alone at check-in, they'll assume the girl will check in at a later time. However, any additional girls will need to pay.

I am planning to book Hotel San Fran deAsis for a week, never stayed here. Any input? I don't have high expectations, but a close proximity to public transport and comfortable stay is required. Can someone please share your experience.

Does anybody have any current information on the Hotel Tecundama on 7th in Santa Fe. It says on their website that they can charge up to 100% additional for credit card purchases. Really? Do they charge to bring a guest up for the night? What about daytime hours? What if I register for two adults? I know it's an old hotel but are the rooms still decent or are they decrepit? I tried to search the forum but could not find anything recent. Please provide any relevant information that you have. Thanking you in advance.

Seeking your opinion about whether option of Airanb apartment is more convenient or Real 97 suites on calle 97 A? Hotel provides 2 room suite with be / f, while airanb apartment has no be / f typically. Also which area is suitable for getting mongering partner?

I just got this reply from Hotel San Francisco.

'the reserved room is for two people, for an additional person it would be necessary to change the type of room'.

And I haven't found any concrete info here as well, unless I missed it. What is the guest policy and maximum girls I can bring in. I have it booked with max capacity of 2, would I be able to bring two girls still or would I need to get a 2 bed room. Also still don't know a out the guest fee. PM if you like.

TIA.

Hello fellow travelers.

ID like to hear your experiences from staying near Santa Fe. I'm looking at airbnb right now and there are several nice looking apartments near the vicinity. I normally choose Chapinero as my base of operations, but choices are rather expensive near wherer I used to stay.

I'm reading you.

Most hotels in Bogota, especially upscale ones, allow guests until 8/9/10 PM at no cost, after which you pay extra guest cost for that night.

The policy applies whether you book for 1 or 2 persons, since the 2nd person must be registered at check-in. It's for wives, not rental girls.

Some hotels don't allow any guests, sometimes under the guise of covid-19 safety.

If you can't or don't want to bring a chica to your hotel, another great option is a love motel, they are clustered around the city. Get a proper motel with security staff and ID checks, this ensures proper social distancing between you and the chica's "boyfriend" who often shows up with her. These motels cost 30-150 k, where the top of the range has sex furniture, cages, slings, jacuzzis, saunas and what not.

I liked staying there, and cabs are cheap and plentiful.I'm considering this place for a few nights and wondering if they charged you anything for the chica and if you booked for 2 people? Assuming I can't provide her ID when I book, do they take ID from chicas that walk in?

I just emailed them and they said overnight visitors cost 100 USD. I'm a bit suprised that they have been suggested here in the past. Maybe they've changed for the worse.

Thanking you in advance.I've stayed quite a few times at Tequendama not that long ago. But there are 2 Tequendamas: the hotel proper and the suites in another building right behind in a pedestrian area of sorts with stores, restaurants, etc.

Never paid any additional, suites are a bit outdated but clean and in good shape. Guests from both the hotel and the suites share the breakfast area Good breakfast with plenty of fruit.

The suites are much easier to bring a girl, at no extra fee, provided she looks and dresses normal; in the hotel, to get to the 6 lift lobby a porter 24/7 will open a glass door for you. You are supposed to show him your room key for him to let you in that lobby. Most girls I saw in SF in miniskirts and silicone boobs coming out would not qualify. Hope it helped.

I'm in the middle of planning my trip. Anybody ever stay at Click Clack? I get reports they're guest friendly, but can't find enough info to confirm.

Question:

I had one small heater in Ibis and it was good idea because it would get cold sometimes and especially getting of the shower.

Would I need it also for Tequendama hotel?

Thanks in advance.
