While renting a single room in the apartment, and being the only guest occupying the apartment, I was robbed of my cell phone, passport, and every last dollar in cash. The door to my "private" room was locked, the door to the apartment was locked, and the items that were stolen were locked inside of a large suitcase inside of my locked so-called "private" room. The theives obviously had access to both the apartment and the room that I was renting as there was no forced entry and proceeded to break the lock on my suitcase in order to go through the belongings inside. By the way, the electronic safes that were offered for use in the apartment were not secured to anything. I. E. If you put your cash in the safe, someone could just pick up the locked safe and walk away with it!

Police investigators called to the scene concluded the obvious. That it was an inside job with the proprietor of the rental the primary suspect to be involved in this robbery. I was away from the apartment for about two hours when the items were stolen and as far as I know, the security guards at the entrance of the building were the only people aware that I was away from the apartment. Who knows, they may have been in on informing that I was away.

The same proprietor of this apartment rental (a German guy named Robert) also runs Girlfriind4aweek escorts, so I would also use extreme caution and reserve should you be considering using this service or anything else that this person is involved in.

I paid a HUGE price for letting my guard down and allowng myself to believe that I was in a fairly secure environment (I. E. Security guarded building in the best part of Medellin, my own keys to the apartment and "private" room I had rented) and allowing myself to believe that the proprietor I was dealing with had some reasonable amount of trustworthiness. Don't make the same mistake I did! Dealing with this operation cost me thousands in cash, not to mention, having to fly to Bogota (no US embassy in Medellin) to get an emergency replacement passport so that I could leave the country and basically ruined my trip to Medellin. BEWARE!

I know that there were some anti-prostitution nuts that had arguments with the owner and were attacking him here (and were banned).I spent 2 months in Medellin earlier this year. I ran into Robert. Didn't trust him the minute I met him. Ended running into him again the next day while eating lunch. We ended up meeting up for drinks with a friend of mine later that evening after lunch. As everyone knows there isn't much happening during the day, so for some reason I talked to him. He kept his money (like $30) in his shoes. It set off red flags. He was claiming to be a big shot. The thing is I hung around some of the girls that were on his site (didn't know that at the time, really didn't care). I was there to have a good time. I have no bad or good things to say about what he does with his site or the girls on it. It is none of my business.

One thing I know about the guy is he could not help himself from himself. He sent me an email later that day with the photos of some of the girls that were on his site. Pretty classless, since he knew I went out and drank with a couple of them. He wanted to let me know they were his girls and he did not like them hanging around with me. If the girls wanted to tell me what they did, it was up to them, not from a so called want to be pimp that was suppose to be looking out for their best interest. The guy has no class.

He also first told me he never did anything with them, the next time I ran into him he claimed they had to go out on a date prior with him to be listed. This way he can assure they knew what they were doing. Again, you can't trust a word the guy says. The story always changed.

His whole game was suckering girls into believing a married man would give a permanent "girl friend" pay check every month to a girl ($1500 a month or so) and the girls would be off the market for meeting new guys from his site.

When we where sitting around the second day after lunch, he claimed to receive an international call and that one of his girls was being taken off the market. Later that day, I watched him approach girls at the bar with this BS story to keep some girls motivated in working and interested in what he was doing and also to recruit others. He claimed to have hundreds of photos of girls. I could not verify this, he only sent me an email with a dozen or so because the site was blocked in Colombia from being viewed. I could also tell he was telling the girls this BS story that I was hanging with because he was so jealous they enjoyed hanging out with me and that I was a fun drunk that spent money foolishly.

I don't know about kiddie porn, but this can tell you more about his character. I do remember he claimed people were out to get him and he was always looking over his shoulder.
