This is mainly due to the fact that I am not too comfortable in shagging a girl on a couch. That was my only complain; although the environment is nice, with plenty of room space, the couch is just too small for my comfort. I went to a sauna at 638 Wu Zhong Lu. One of my regular girls at 500 Wu Zhong Lu works here now, and asked me to visit her at the new Sauna she works at. I figured I will check it out.

It was 700rmb total for me because my "little friend" let me have a discount price of 600rmb for th massage service. The other 100rmb is for the Sauna facilities. I think regular charge is 700rmb plus 100rmb for the sauna facilities charge for a normal total of 800rmb. You pay at the reception desk on the way out after you are done as is typical of most saunas.

Basically, it is an older facility, on the second floor next door to a Japanese restaurant. The overall look and feel of this place is definitely grittier and needs to be remodeled. You can find much better facilities at Waves or other places mentioned in other reports.

The rooms for getting your massage is on the 3rd floor and your service provider walks you up the stairwell to get there. It is basically a hotel room in set up with a bigger than normal bathroom including bathtub. A tatami mat set up is where you would typically put the bed if it were a hotel room and there is a kind of Futon there for you to get to business.

Overall, it is a poor quality set up for full price. I would rate it no more than a 4/10. The hot soaking tub is hotter than at 500 Wu Zhong Lu, and it does have a working sauna. The services in the sauna area is typical of the others. (see other reports if you have not been to a sauna before)

Service however was good because I have seen my "little friend" a few times before so she knows what I like. I don't know what the routine is for the rest of the girls, but mine lets me do what I want. I suspect you can get the standard routine or you can take control. My "little friend" did have her "red rope" with her kit from when she was at 500 Wu Zhong Lu, but the room I had did not have the overhead bars for her to use.

I asked her why she moved to this sauna and she said it pays more.

I definitely would not bother going back again.

I can vouch for his good intentions, but the last time he tried, we went around the same block 3-4 times before we finally found the place we were looking for. As it turned out, all the shops were closed, except for one gem of a place we stumbled onto.

I would suggest places I go, like Rojam or Park 97.

Otherwise, a shopping centre or a street crossing can be right place. Make eyes contact and then go ...

Finally back to Shanghai after a long trip, I was ready for a relaxing evening with my friends. As it was some time since we enjoyed the famous Shanghainese hospitality, we went for our local favorites.

First we were heading for Shanghai Hotel. No waiting time, good selection and I went for 37 and 07, both from Dongbei. Threesome are always depending on the girls interaction. Tangled Web of prostitution uncovered

BEIJING'S Internet watchdog has accused 12 dating Websites of being a cover for prostitution and has ordered them to clean up their act by Friday.

"The outrageous pimping content in some Websites is shocking," said a statement of the Beijing Online News and Information Panel, an Internet watchdog made up of government officials, experts and representatives of Netizens.

The 12 dating Websites are loaded with detailed information on the sex trade, including "service items, pricing and contact information," said the statement. Sexually explicit information makes up more than 95 percent of the Websites' content, it said.

The panel has ordered a purge of such data from Websites by June 1.

One of the Websites, which purports to be a lonely-hearts dating service, contained a posting supposedly from a young woman with a fair complexion who describes herself as a "professional pleasure giver."

Another Website on the list requires patrons to create an account with their personal information before being allowed to log on.

"Aiding and abetting the spread of prostitution information in pursuit of a higher hit rate may be against the law," said Min Dahong, director of the panel.

Online prostitution information not only appears in dating Websites, but can also be found on Internet bulletin boards, classified advertisements and blogs, the panel noted.

"It is a comprehensive project to purge the Web of such information," said the statement, calling for all Websites to take effective measures.

The panel was established last year by an Internet association under the publicity department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.

The panel holds regular meetings on "problematic Websites" that have been reported by Netizens.

China had 144 million Netizens at the end of March, and the figure is growing by eight percent per year.

The nation has stepped up its anti-pornography efforts in cyberspace since it launched a six-month crackdown campaign in April.

I went for a stroll today to see how was the BBS scene in old JingAn. I walked Kanding lu for a while and then Wuding lu. It was sort of weird because most of the BBS that used to be there a while ago are gone and the ones that seemed to be active had a Police van in front of them. Not a very inviting scene. I went up to Wuding still undecided (after seeing all that police) if it was the best day to take of the rust of the old pipe. Finally I found myself close enough to the Pub and I decided to give it a try.

Experience there was pretty much as described in countless occasions in this forum. Fairly clean, not rushed BBBJ. Girl was a bit too clingy but overall a nice experience. The only thing that kinda surprised me a bit was the payment part. The said that I could pay the whole thing to her, so without asking I have her the 350rmb. It's posted in the forum that that was the total damage so thats what I gave her. She said that that was not including her tip, but she didn't even sound convinced so I told her that "one friend" told me that this was the going rate. After that I left and she didn't even mention the thing again.

They are for real but except that you have to be extra careful about these girls, most of the time they are ripped off and sometime you ended up with nothing except for a real good tour of the city. My advice is to keep away from using these services and RTFF if you really want to have fun in Shanghai. Shanghai threads is the most well posted threads on the China board, I am sure you will find what you wanted.

BTW: Another way is to just pay Jackson US$19.90 for a subscription to get the PM box and contact more experience members for tips of Shanghai. Finally; NO I DON'T WORK FOR JACKSON AND I DON'T GET A PART OF THIS PAYMENT!

When my Chinese friends told me we will check out a new place tonight I was quite excited. But unfortunately is did not work out...
There is a new place called "Ala Gong" at the intersection of Fuxing Lu / Shun Chang Lu which has opened around Chinese New Year. It is quite big, so it should be a Sauna / Soapland.
We arrived there around 10 pm today and it is impossible to miss if you are at the intersection (not too far away from XinTianDi). However, when we tried to enter the guys at the front door stopped us - because of me!
They said "No Lao Wai" and although my friends tried to explain that I am Shanghai Ren etc., they did not let me in. Shit! Almost like Japan...

Well, what should I say. We continued to Ji Yuan, I had number 63 again and it was great.

I hope a Chinese brother can check out "Ala Gong" and share with us if it is worth to undergo plastic surgery...

We ended up in Tongren Lu and Manhattan was good as always. A lot of flirting and bargaining but no action, I still felt too exhausted after Ji Yuan.

Finding women in their 40's is a bit harder.

Most women in their 40's are not typically found in the same places as the young and nubile girls found by the typical monger on these pages. You will have to be a bit more creative. They don't often go to the clubs.

Go in through the hotel entrance (a small circular driveway), then go downstairs to the B1 level.

The sauna is open from 2:00PM to 2:00AM. They have a very healthy selection of girls here in the early 20's ranging from 7-9 in looks. The girl I had was a very young 36C from Shenyang. I recently went to the Royal Silver Spring sauna.

Location etc. have been described before, 4th floor of Hengsheng Peninsula Hotel (turn left from elevator, there’s another massage place to the right).

As somebody else has mentioned before, you don’t have to go through the hotel lobby, take the entrance on the south corner of the building (near the travel agency) and you’ll be in the elevator lobby.

I selected my course at the reception (this place offers regular massage, too); I chose the 90 minute version for 750 as the other reports mentioned only that one... there was another one, 45 minutes for approx. 450, but i don’t know if that is just a regular massage, or a shorter FS option.

Undressed, showered and was seated in a waiting room with a drink, but I just waited for about 5 minutes. It was a weekday afternoon, and the place was almost empty (except for two elderly female hotel guests, utterly clueless about what else was going on here). I didn’t get to choose a girl like others have described before, though, the mama-san just said, „I’ll pick a tall, slim, pretty girl for you, OK?“. Maybe that’s what all westeners ask for anyway, it was definitely OK with me. She then led me to the room, through several corridors with many doors to many massage rooms... this place is huge!

Since I often walk pass this place, Ala Gong, and due to Shanghai Jack's curiosity, my curiosity was piqued. Today I went in at around 8pm or so. Since I'm ethnic Chinese and can speak enough of it to fool the natives if I don't say too much, I was allowed in without any problems.

Was not impressed at first. The place is small size wise, but occupies several flows, the lobby starts is on the 2nd floor. The venue, if it is new like Mr Jack says, it sure has aged quickly. The interior, while not completely shabby, is worn and old. All the staff members there look like taxi drivers or bus drivers. Typical middle-aged Shanghainese blue collar workers.

I went in and got a locker key. The menu didn't state much, using the shower facilities in 50 RMB. Took my chances anyways. Took a shower, it wasn't too busy when I went in, maybe 6 other guys, all Chinese from what I could tell. There is a pool in the shower area, but no one was using it at the time. I noticed each shower had different bottles of shampoo and shower gel. Obviously they're all re-fills, but the bottles all looked a little grungy.

After the shower, had a man towel my back and ass, I did the front bits myself. Went up to the third floor to the lounge. The lounge looks old and tired like the rest of the place. Two TVs with Chinese channels on, and lots of middle-aged ladies sitting around. I was told to wait a minute for a girl to be ready. I'm currently on a business trip in Shanghai and on a very tight schedule. As my appointment for today was canceled I could sleep and decided to go out after dinner (business) for a few drinks to check out the scenery.

Since I often walk pass this place, Ala Gong, and due to Shanghai Jack's curiosity, my curiosity was piqued. Today I went in at around 8pm or so. Since I'm ethnic Chinese and can speak enough of it to fool the natives if I don't say too much, I was allowed in without any problems.

Tonight went to SH. Had heard about VIP rooms downstairs. Decided to go for a spin.

Here's the deal - Rooms are updated recently, very nice, very private area. Not many customers - probably due to higher price. All rooms have king size bed with separate wet bed in shower area.

When I entered a man greeted me in chineese but I just said 'Spa, Sauna, Massage?' and he welcomed me in and led me to a very small locker room. I think there was only 12 lockers or so. He gave me a pair of disposable shorts, motioned for me to get out of my clothes and then closed the door behind him. I did as requested and when I came out again I was led to a room with a wet bed. A girl came in an motioned for me to lie down. I didn't seem to get a choice of girls but as I don't expect any special services thats OK.

The firs thing she did was to get a pair of scissors and cut the side of the shorts so only the elastic band held them together. She then proceded to wash me VERY thoroughly and with her newgained acces this was a very nice experience. I also got some back massage on this table. After this i was toweled of and handed a new pair of shorts.

After this was finished we proceded to a normal massage room with two massage beds and a large clear window in the door. Again this is fine with me as I do not expect any special services. The ink is thick enough you can feel the lines in a real note.

No need for a light - you can do this in a dark bar.

Be careful in bars and taxis. In GZ have witnessed taxi drivers take payment and palm the real notes. Then pass a fake back saying you have just given them a counterfit. Never seen in Shanghai myself, but my colleague had this happen in a taxi 2 weeks ago.

Always keep an eye on the money when passing it to the bartender or the taxi driver. Trust me, they are slicker than any Vegas dealer.

Overall, there are some very nice hotties in there that are worth exploring. Next time I'll try the place just to the right of the one I was at. If anybody knows where the other places are on that section of road between Xikang and Shanxi roads - please let me know, as I couldn't spot them.

why am i not surprise that people get fake notes from atm in shanghai? often enough i have heard even the local complains that they got fake notes from the atms. in fact if you notice those machine that they use in the bank to verify the notes, do you really trust that it will detech a fake from a stack of real notes? look at the speed the machine is going... i am doubtful it even works. i had once deposited a stack of 1000 x 100 rmb notes into bank of china. somehow two of the notes in the stack was rejected from the stack 3 times, but when they are been verified by another machine, it passed through ok.

Charlie's Angels is operated by 2 guys; one is an American and a Chinese who both had lived in Japan for a number of years.

8 years ago, they operated a similar type website offering similar type of services in Tokyo. They got busted by the cops in Tokyo a number of years back. Ever since than, they had moved their business to China, Shanghai.

Their concept is simply best described with one word: “Scam”. The girls offered on the website are not available everyday. Mainly because they are semi-pros and some of them works as models. Most often if you order these girls and if they are not available, they would send in a substitute. The fact that many of their customers are here on short business trip, they would be thinking with their little head, and would accept the less attractive substitute at the door steps.

It depends on each individual needs, for us who are resident of Shanghai, of course we would not believe in ripped off or accept anybody less than what we had ordered. Would you accept a Toyota if you are paying the price of a BMW? But as I said; those who are here for a short time, they may not bother to search further.

I wish that I had read this post by Unknown one earlier and would had advice him not to waste his time. Sorry about that. However please do not ask me how I got these information about the operators. If I tell you, I would have to kill you!

Hi MD. Sorry, you got the wrong place. There is a blind massage place on the other side of the Regalia, and they don't offer any special services there (except for a very, very good massage).

The Regalia Towers in English translates to Jue Shi Jiu Dian Gong Yu, as I had reported previously. Make sure you go to the hotel entrance. There are two driveways at Jue Shi. Go to the eastmost driveway, closest to Century Avenue (Shi Ji Da Dao). As soon as you go into the hotel (up a couple steps), there is a door on the right leading down to the sauna.

Just in case, I'm also attaching a JPG of the name of the sauna in Chinese. Show the name in Chinese to one of the guards in the complex, or even go back to the massage place and ask them how to get to the sauna. Good luck if you decide to go back to check out this place!

Short update on Shanghai

Day one: Shanghai hotel

I had #18 and she was a real talent. Also quite pretty. I don't need to describe the stuff in detail - this has been done here many times. CGAlthough no experience in China as yet but soon to come, I am extensively experienced with Thai and Filipina chix and I would expect that since they have to work there, they have the same MO. My reality check is to look at her and then to look in the mirror, realizing my age also. That usually does it for me but it doesn't exclude the GFE, if you can leave it at that. Nice note... couple of comments: While the exfoliating treatment can leave your skin feeling very fresh (most of the dead skin removed), I think it poses a risk of infections. One of my Shanghai buddies who posts but won't be named once complained of a too-deep exfoliation, which could obviously lead to skin infections (that isn't a sterile towel he's using). I once developed a skin fungus (easily knocked out with Lamisil (over the counter fungus cream in the US)) which I suspect came from one of those treatments. I've since avoided them. Plus, removing that layer of skin right before going to town with one of the lovelies, with her planting her lips and many other of her body parts all over your skin is probably counter-productive.

Also, you can save a little by staying at the Equatorial rather than the Hilton. It is a very nice hotel, and is even closer to the Shanghai Hotel than the Hilton. But both are nice, and the bar at the top of the Hilton is much nicer than the bar on the 4th floor of the Equatorial.

Thanks to Rodion's post about Kanding Lu, I decided to check the street out last night (9 pm) and wanted to give some additional information. I'm somewhat new to posting so I apologize ahead of time for any redundancy or extra wording.

First off, it is Kanding Road in between Xikang Road and Shanxi Road in the Jingan District. Along Kanding Road there were 4 BBS that I could see, 2 on the north side and 2 on the south, closer along the Shanxi Road side. There are an additional 4 or so BBS along Shanxi Road north of Kanding on the east side of the road.

Perusing through the shops I noticed that the best looking girls were the ones on the north side of Kanding road and on the top of Shanxi Road towards Changping. Of course I have the phone number of this beauty and tried my best to make a kind of private relation. Never met her, but those prices don't seem that high -- I'm sure they are negotiable as well. I bet you could get 1500 for all day and night, which is about what you'd pay a top end KTV girl for just the night portion.

Sommerset Grand is in Xintiandi. To the best of my knowledge it is girl friendly (my friends have stayed there before and that proved true for them). For Bars girls hunting there are two methods to get them which I would summarized:

The whole area around (West to east) from Jiaozhou Lu to Jiang Ning Lu and (North to South) Chang Shou Lu to Beijing Lu are marked for refurbishment due the the fact that the Subway Line No. 9 will be coming through. Regent Shanghai Hotel is across the road from Howward Johnson Hotel. If you read up or search under Howard Johnson you should be able to get a dozen of reports. Even if you search under "Regent" you should be able to a number of posts.

AG is right, the Regent Hotel (quite nice, btw.) is located on Yanan West Road, close to the Panyu Road Intersection. The Yanan Road is Shanghai's main West-East connection, and you will find it very easy to go downtown from your hotel.
Many places mentioned here are less than 15 minutes away by taxi, e.g. the Shanghai Hotel Sauna, Tongren Road, etc.

I live in Luwan, basically ½ a block from Xintiandi, and I need to find a place in my neighborhood. Since I’ve been here and for the next few months I’ll be doing 12 hour days and most nights I just don’t feel like hoping in a cab and riding cross town. So I’m wonder if anyone knows of spa or BBS or whatever within walking distance I can be a frequent visitor of?

Regent Shanghai Hotel is across the road from Howward Johnson Hotel. If you read up or search under Howard Johnson you should be able to get a dozen of reports. Even if you search under "Regent" you should be able to a number of posts.

Advice for newbies:

1) Prepare for your trip early, at least one week in advance.
2) Purchase a subscription from Jackson to get the PM function.
3) Learn to use the Search function
4) RTFF
5) when in doubt PM the member who had posted that report.

Further advice:

No one owe you an answer or work for you, so if you want someone to help you, you have to help yourself first. Make sure you do your homework before asking questions on the board. Knowledgeable senior members on the board would hate it when you treat this board like a helpdesk. There are also some wankers on the board who would try to gain credits or try to top up their posts count so that they can be promoted to be senior members. Most of the time, they are just posting nonsense, you are an adult, you be the judge.

Kind of strange for you to answer on behalf of another member.

I would still insist that all newbies to learn to use the search function. If he does not come up with anything, it can only mean that the area is not covered or no one else had good experience there.

However with Regent Hotel, as you had said, is near by many "Places of Mongering" and thus it will be easy for him to access.

From my point of view, we do not need to spoon feed anyone here. Member "Wooooo" once told me: "If you are a real monger you can drop him into any city, he will be able to find his way to the pussies".

Lastly; I do not understand why one have to really find action within 5 mins walking distance of the hotel? Shanghai is not a small city but neither is it 100miles wide. I think most of the places mentioned in the Shanghai thread are within 20 mins cab ride.

Ok, I gave a try asking a girl to the room, and I want to talk about it.

I called the reception to ask if they had massage services in the hotel, and they told me to wait, so somebody would call me.

A minute later the phone rings, and a gentleman asks me if I'm interested on normal (RMB350) or oil (RMB500) massage.

I was needing a massage, so I asked the oil option, and he warned me that it was no "special service". He also said I had to pay cash, since this was a service not from the hotel. Then I figured it out...

The girl arrived 20min later. Small, around 25, beautiful eyes. I'd say 6 for the face, 6 for the body. Jojo her name.

Asked me to lay down, and started the massage. Very good, by the way, she was strong and the procedure was very relaxing.

Asked me to turn, face up. Started chest, arms, belly and, poiting to the big boy asked "Ok?". I said, "ok", and she replied "RMB200". So the damage would be RMB700 for a massage with HJ. I said ok, and she did a good job.

She was nice, tender, very smiley, good behaviour. Gave me her phone and asked if next day would be the same. I said I would think. (obs., she spoke no English at all)
A bit frustration, I was expecting more action, but she was not the right person. Also, she kept the clothes on, quite bad. But the massge was very good.

So, I hope this helps in any way. I will try more times and let you folks know.

I had just arrived in Shanghai and had already sampled the delights of Waves and SH Sauna. Was planning to visit JiYuan which everyone praised about but subsequent searches on the net show that JY had been raided not long before and had been closed down, therefore, would like to ask if anyone had been to JY these last few days?

Another question would be that I had been scouting areas around HongKou and YangPu. In the course, I had spotted numerous Saunas and BBSs. Since Iam yet a fan of BBSs, my targets are Saunas. The thing is, How do you differentiate Saunas with extras and the ones without? Of course one can always do a trial and error on each of the Saunas, but is there really any hints on helping us identify the Saunas we all loved?

You might want to try the outcall massage ads in CityWeekend (or similar). The prices are considerably lower for similar service, and often you get better service. Expect to pay about 200 (min) to 400 (max) all inclusive for that level of service, and sometimes you can negotiate for more services.

There are many. Here are some for starters

SAUNA - Off a small lane on HuangPiNan lu, not far from HuaiHai lu. It's well marked. This place is decent, nothing special, but not bad. (I only know of one Sauna/spa in this area)

BBS's - several on Fuxing lu behind the new Lakeville apartments (near HuangPiNan lu), and a few more on ZiZhong lu past JiNan lu

Take a taxi to Shanghai Hotel, and go to the second floor. You don't need to speak a word.I was just doing this yesterday. And I have to say it worked extremely well. Everything was perfectly organized. A great girl, unfortunately I forgot her name but her number is #78.

But one comment I do have. Looking back on it it seems like a production line since you will be passed from one room to another. You cannot go any wrong direction and when you reach the end then you can start the same procedure again. Is this the same on other massage places?

First of all; despite the numbers of time I and many other members on the board had reminded newbies (that were lurkers before) that they should RTFF, these newbies keep coming and keep thinking that the ISG is Information & Security Group in which they will be able to use it as a helpdesk.

The first time when I set foot in Shanghai, I had found the search function has helped me a lot and I don't agree with you that it is not useful. As a newbie to a city, would you be trying out places that are established and been verified by people on the board or would you be hunting in an uncharted ground? Secondly, as a newbie in Shanghai, as I said, he should be looking around on his own, nobody is going to help them if they were to lock themselve up in their own hotel room. I believe they would have walked around their hotel and get to find out that Howard Johnson, Nanjing Xi Lu are just around the corner. Besides, they can always ask the bellboy for directions or where they can go if they want a drink or look for Bar. Frankly, when I land first time in a new city, I would ask the bell-boy for the Bar street, the city center etc.

Asking a question like "where can I go to find some action" is like asking "What is good for lunch?" Nobody know what you want! What kind of action? May be just some drinks at the bar or a street full of hookers... they are extremes..... As I've said, nobody owe anyone anything, if one ask a broad question like this and expect us the follow up with further questions on what he like etc etc.... that will not happen.

Lastly; We are all here to learn from each other experience, everything posted here should be leading to getting the answer for "Man looking for female for the purpose of sex". I still stand on what I said; Help yourself in order for other to help you.

IMHO, I think the tenor of the forum has changed significantly over the last few years.

When I was new to Shanghai (and Beijing), I simply read as many pages of posts as I could digest and took notes. Then I went out and looked for pussy!

While it is true that such cities as Beijing and Shanghai are fairly dynamic and a lot can change such as whole neighborhoods being torn down, and a large strip of BBS's can go with them, I do think that most of the information is reasonably current which means it is valuable.

That said, there is nothing like doing a little homework and getting out on the streets yourself. There simply is no substitute for practical experience.

I think there are more and more readers on the Forum who take for granted all the time, effort and money spent to get the information to make a posting in the first place.

We could simply be selfish and not post anything, but instead we are posting on an anonymous forum for the benefit of anyone who wants to read it. The benefit is obviously covering more territory than a single person can do on their own.

I only regret seeing the LAZY bastard newbies who post questions treating the board as if we are selfish A******S for withholding info. It is because of these people that I don't post more information. There are now definitely a lot more wankers who post questions, but do not contribute anything.

Free willingness to contribute requires appreciation by the readership and thoughtful contribution by others, otherwise why bother posting at all.

AP I agree 100%. Even responses of RTFF is waste of good bandwidth. I am guilty of doing that in the past but not now.

Due to my primal urge and curiousity, I visited JY (at 4pm) today and is now sure to announce that JY is still open and awfully crowded (had to wait for 30 mins+).

However, I was disappointed by JY's service and talents. Okay, fair enough, talents & looks are subjective matters. But in terms of service, theirs seems rushed.

Being bathed by the WG#96 soapland style is quite an interesting feat of JY. But other than that, there is really nothing to commend about. Adding to the disappointment is that one session only last exactly one hour. Had you wanted to extend the service, you are expected to pay double the 760rmb. Note also that they do not provide discounts if you check out before 8pm and that they serves no food and also that the place loses in terms of plushness to both Waves and SH Sauna.

In conclusion, in my opinion, JY Soapland is like a red rope trick, must be tried if you have not tried it before. Once it's tried, it would lose its appeal, FAST.

Oh! and also, avoid #96 as she talks too much (yes, in and between the intimate session) and that her breast is way too small to be suitable as a soapland WG.
