Does anybody have any experience with spas in the 5 star hotels in Pudong? I mentioned I got a HJ at the Oriental Riverside. Is that normal procedure at most of the hotels?

Other option you may select is Equatorial Hotel (http://www.equatorial.com/sha/), which around the corner with Shanghai Hotel too. However, be careful because it was reported as girl unfriendly, but in case you want to monger only outside it is a good solution.

The JC Mandarin is right across from the Portman and is girl friendly. I have not seen any WG in the lobby but there is a bar downstairs with a couple of overpriced girls who may be available for takeout.

The Shanghai Hotel is about a 10 minute walk away and the bars on TGL are just around the corner. Those bars have lots of WG.

Overall its a good location for mongering and a fairly nice hotel.

I don't know about massage places very near this hotel, but maybe you can grab a taxi and go to Shanghai Hotel sauna in 10-15 minutes (make some search in this thread).

Other important suggestion I want to give you is:

BEWARE OF TOUTS AND POSSIBLE SCAMS when walking along Nanjing Rd. .
That area is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as it has been reported many times here.

I have walked to the Shanghai hotel quite a few times and with all due respect to the other poster, it is a good 20 - 25 minutes for me. Hell, I don't think I could do it in 10 minutes running. Take a taxi there.
There is also a sauna closer by, on Yan'an lu, almost directly south of the JC. I forget it's name but it is just west of the Macau Dollar hotpot restaurant on Yan'an. You might want to give that a try.

Germanboy asked about this hotel a few posts down. I stayed there last year. It is an excellent value for a hotel, nice clean rooms and very reasonably priced. But I couldn't find any quality action in or near the hotel, so you have to be willing to take a taxi. It's a five minute walk from the Bund in a weird hardware district where all the shops sell plumbing and stuff like that within a couple of blocks of the hotel. I got a HE at the hotel massage parlor, but nothing more. They list a sauna on the hotel web page now though, and I don't know if it is a monger type of sauna. Might be worth checking further.

I would not do the walk between these two hotels. Especially in the cold weather. It would probably take at least 45+ minutes at a brisk pace for my sorry ass to hoof it there and then I would have to rest quite awhile before partaking in any fun activities. As Albert P. said in an earlier post, save your energy for the girls.

Take a taxi, it should be less than 20 RMB for the ride.

Shanghai hotel sauna has been a lot of fun for me but there are many other places in Shanghai to play. There are a couple near your hotel that were posted recently.
However, the Shanghai hotel is definitely worth going to, so if you have not been there, do it. Everybody should experience the red ropes at least once!

BTW, the JW Marriott -Shanghai is a very nice hotel. You will enjoy it. Just ignore the touts in the area and on Nanjing Lu.

I think the other posts are correct about the walking distance being 20-25 minutes from the JC Mandarin to the Shanghai sauna. I walked it in Sept., during the daytime when it was 70 degrees so it seemed shorter.

Also, if you do stay on the East side of Nanjing Road, such as at the Sofitel, the touts are everywhere and they really do pester you. As earlier posts said, avoid them - sometimes "Bu Yao" will get rid of them. Also, don't go with any girl who wants to have a coffee with you. Its another scam that's well documented on this board.

Walk towards Jing'an temple (about 5 minutes). Make a left at the intersection where Jing'an temple is. Keep walking until you cross over the footbridge. Then walk right. You will hit Urumuqi Road. Make a left and you will hit in in about 2 blocks.

it's my first post here, and to start I wanted to thank you guys for the good advices in the forum, which actually improved drastically the quality of my private fun in Shanghai.

As every newcomer (I guess) in Shanghai I wasted lots of $ on lousy fucks with Filipino girls picked in TRL... then thanks to you guys I discovered the wonderful world of Shanghai's Massage Parlors... oh-yeaaaah.

I became a regular of the SH Sauna, of course, this place is like heaven. Perhaps not the best facilities but the best trained girls in my opinion. Anyway SH sauna is largely documented here and there is no point in an additional report from a newcomer.

I wanted to share my experience about the soapy on Xietu Lu near Luban Lu:
The place is located in the same building as a Lianhua supermarket, you can not miss it. You can park your car in the underground parking lot of the Lianhua and take the elevator straight to the 4th floor, if you are not driving you will find the lobby to the elevator on the right hand side of the Lianhua (last entrance on the right hand side of the building). There are some guys in the lobby sometimes, don't even bother talking to them and head to the LAST elevator.

As soon as you are on the 4th floor, the staff will take care of you. There are mostly young guys, polite and some can even speak english. There is no need to speak Mandarin anyway, they perfectely know what you are looking for...

You will be led to a changing room with lockers, relaxing chairs and tivo. There is usually no waiting, whatever time you go there...

Then to the fishbowl... This place has in my opinion an excellent assortment of young ladies. They look GOOD! The service range is quite wide, from slippery games in the bathroom (every room has its own), to dry including red rope.
My best experiences:

Checked it out a few days ago. It's been fully renovated and now open for business again. Here's the new deal:

Small selection and yes expensive (2000RMB). In addition to suggestions of Shanghai Hotel sauna (which I will have to find and try myself next time) you can head down the street out the front door. Stay along the lantern sidewalk restaurant side opposite from the RitzCarlton and at the first block make a left. Massage Center opposite Courtyard by Marriot

I was determined to have a very good time. I started in the massage center opposite to the hotel I was staying, Courtyard by Marriot in Pudong. I crossed the street and there I was. The place is located in the same building as a Lianhua supermarket, you can not miss it. You can park your car in the underground parking lot of the Lianhua and take the elevator straight to the 4th floor, if you are not driving you will find the lobby to the elevator on the right hand side of the Lianhua (last entrance on the right hand side of the building). There are some guys in the lobby sometimes, don't even bother talking to them and head to the LAST elevator.

As soon as you are on the 4th floor, the staff will take care of you. There are mostly young guys, polite and some can even speak english. There is no need to speak Mandarin anyway, they perfectely know what you are looking for...

Thanks for a great trip report! I'd like to make a few comments, and hopefully answer some of your questions:

1. Badong Sauna really is next door to the Marriott Courtyard, on 836 Dong Fang Lu. From inside Marriott, you can take the side escalators (next to the open central area) up to the 4th floor, or you can enter by walking around the corner from the street. If all else fails, and you can't find it... ask the concierge inside the front door of the hotel.

2. The "strange" Chinese health club that you mentioned is actually called "Ya Dian Huang Gong", located at #8 Dong Fang Lu, near Pudong Da Dao. If you want just a massage, it's one of my favorite places in Shanghai. The food on the 3rd floor is good; there's a foosball and pool table inside for rent; the massages are comfortable; and the baths are hot and relaxing. But, unfortunately, there are no extra services available.

If you still have no luck with Badong, try the Siyuan Club inside the Merrylin Hotel, also around the corner from the Marriott on Laoshan Lu and Zhangyang Lu. It offers full service at 550RMB before 7 and 680RMB after 7. Or, try the massage places on Laoshan Lu near the KFC on Weifang Lu. You'll have to negotiate services with those girls inside the massage rooms.

Went last night to check it out.

It's a hard place to figure out. The front "lobby", if you will, just has a glass wall open to the street, so there is nothing discreet about the place. At least most bbs's have smoked glass or steps down. Anyone walking by can see exactly what is going on now. This was my first time in this sauna club. It is actually quite easy to find. Best is you go to the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Shanghai Hongqiao. From the main entrance / exit, you walk all the way straight, perhaps 300m, until you already see the sign to turn left into Xianxia Lu (near the crossing with Zunyi Lu).

When you enter, you go down two stairs, and this does not look very nice. But the place itself is very clean, in fact one of the cleanest I found in Shanghai. When I was in Shanghai in earlier times, Waves (1277, Zhongshan Xi Lu) used to be my favorite.

However, again, I have been heavily disappointed. I was there on a Friday evening, around 11 PM. And the service was just simply "mass production". The girl was there for only one month and perhaps not so experienced. But she did her job so mechanical that I even had difficulty to wake xiao didi up.

Last time when I was in Shanghai, I stayed at a 5 star hotel. It actually doesn't matter which one, since the story might happen anywhere.

Use subway line 1 southbound, Waihuan Lu is the last station before the terminus. If you exit on the wrong side, you will see a pedestrian bridge over a highway, then turn left and use the tunnel under the station to get to the other side.


At one exit, there's a school right infront, beside a neighbourhood back entrance. Turn left and walk 100 to 150 meters or so, along the way, you can see All-Days on your right-hand side, an dodgy arcade game outlet, a property agent co., while most of the other shops are empty until reach a junction. keep walking for 10 meters, you will see two BBS (one with red and one blue lights) on your right-hand side. Recently visited the newly renovated ZY Club (business card attached). It was as described. Big, clear window to the street, bright and clean looking reception area. Immediately after reception area is a narrow corridor with 4 rooms marked "VIP" and then a U turn and 4 more rooms. I was in number 6 or 7 I think. Room itself is very dark, so difficult to really observe the action. There is a low bed, not really a massage table, and a big window in the door, which gets immediately covered by your clothes.

To reply to your question: basing on my experience, nicest (assuming you mean most beautiful) girls are generally in KTV.
However, these are not places for alone mongers.
So, you may try saunas: Tomson and Shanghai Hotel seem to be the best reported, as far as staff beauty and service.

I have really benefited from finding this site a couple of months ago. Reading this thread recently you would think that there are only 2 places left in Shanghai – Shanghai Hotel and Thompsons! These are both great places if you like it slick and single shot but a lot of people want a cheaper, more active and less salubrious experience.

All these places I am about to mention do the normal fire and ice, breast-massage, tongue arse-reaming, bareback blowjob stuff that you expect in China. Ignore the building – it has a whole lot of hobbies and gaming shops in it. Go directly down the driveway towards the signs saying 6F. There is usually a guy there who will press the button for you. The elevator goes straight to Level 6. You will know it is the right place if you see a big tank of orange fish at the entrance. They will take you through to the usual shower and change area. Just make sure you ask for the RMB600 massage and they will take you downstairs. Don’t worry if they put you in a room for a short while. They will offer you a drink and take you out to the showroom after a few minutes. There are usually 8-10 girls available in the afternoon and evening. Actually, you can get 2 girls here for RMB880 before 6pm which is a great bargain. I think you get 70 minutes from memory. The girls here are 6-7 in quality but decent and accommodating. You don’t have to worry about being denied a second shot. They are mainly from Jilin and Harbin in the north and from nearby Anhui of course. A good mix. I have also seen a great Yunnan girl here if you like ample bodies. She was number 37 I think. Red rope is available.

2. Yanping Lu & Xinzha Lu intersection – this place is a little hard to find but it is my favourite intimate joint. You go to the intersection of Xinzha Lu and Yanping Lu – which is about 5 minutes walk north of Jingan Temple. Walk down Xinzha Lu until you hit the beginning of Yanping Lu. Go straight down it on the right hand side. After a 1 minute walk you will see a long driveway. There is a sign in Chinese with the word "massage" and the number "4" on it. Turn right down this driveway. You will also see signs for Golf Shop on Level 5. I am too young for golf so ignore that. After 30 seconds you will see a hotel entrance on your left and more signs advertising massage on level 4. Go into the hotel and straight for the 2 elevators on the right hand side. When you hit level 4, the open door is right in front of you. The mamasan is a really nice lady. The price is only RMB480 for 70 minutes – which is the best value in Shanghai in my opinion. She will take you into a small shower room. There are no male attendants here. You are all on your own. It has maybe 20 lockers – but believe me it is a warren of rooms. There must be 30 rooms altogether. The mamasan will take you down some corridors to a room and bring a girl to see you. You can ask for another girl if you like. I have only seen 3 girls there – and they are all 6-7. They play porno movies on the TV – I have seen American and Japanese stuff so far. This place is not to be missed.

3. Songshan Lu (off Huaihai Road) – this is another one for bargain hunters. It is hard to find a reasonable place around Huaihai Road and Xintiandi because it is such a rip-off area. But this place is right at the heart of the strip – next to Hong Kong Plaza on the way to Xintiandi. You turn off Huaihai Lu walking south down Songshan Lu. Stay on the left hand side. On the right hand side is a "Megabite" sign leading down to an underground food hall. Not a bad place to recharge your batteries after some exercise actually. But if you are looking for girls it is on the wrong side of the road. Go down Songshan Lu on the left hand side (east side) until you hit a driveway leading into a courtyard of KTVs and restaurants. It is only a 1 minute walk and this is a very short street so if you hit the Lawsons convenience store you have missed it. This place is directly inside the driveway gate on the right hand side. 4. Gubei Carrefour – for shoppers at Carrefour, it is handy to have a place to relax sometimes to get away from all the hassle. Sorry but I don’t have the name of this street but it is easy to find if my directions are clear. Walk south down Shuicheng Lu away from Carrefour (the main drag). Stay on the right hand side of the street. In other words, stay on the OTHER side of the road from Carrefour. The street is marked with big signs saying "Gubei Gym" or something like that. In fact, this street is really a giant semi-circle that re-connects with the main street so you can also enter it from the corner with the school on it (Yew Chung). Follow the road and don’t panic. After 3-5 minutes you will see a gym and restaurant complex on your left hand side. Go straight inside. Ignore the gym on your left and the restaurant on your right (although the food there is OK). Go down the stairs. When you get down there, you will see a swimming pool behind a wall with portholes and also some girls at a counter (on your right I think). Ignore them. At the back of the building, there is a large door. Ring the bell and it will open. Inside there is a foyer where they take your shoes. They will take you to a room where you can change alone. The décor is OK. You will then be taken to a shower area. The process differs after that. IBourbon St., Zapadas, etcI'd head up to Manhatten's and Judy's Too on Tongren Lu. You can be in and out in ten minutes and at least see what you are getting. Most seem to even talk English (and if you go for the Filipina's they obviously will).

Recently visited the newly renovated ZY Club (business card attached). It was as described. Big, clear window to the street, bright and clean looking reception area. Immediately after reception area is a narrow corridor with 4 rooms marked "VIP" and then a U turn and 4 more rooms. I was in number 6 or 7 I think. I finally arrived home from my two weeks in SH, so I figured I would post my experiences now.

One of the nights, got back from dinner late. I was staying near E. Nanjing road, but didn't feel like risking the walk as it was 1am. And I am white.

I doubted that I was talking to the girl that would come and was expecting a girl that didn't even speak english to arrive. I had to give my name and room number. The elevators at my place are only activated with key. But 20 mins later, a knock on my door. Some how she managed to get up the elevator.

She came in and was cute. Face = 6, body = 6. 5

Super small and skinny. We started joking around a bit. She said oil massage was 200. OK. Whatever. She asked if I wanted 2 girl massage. That would be 400 for 90mins. Sure. Conclusion: not worth the time or effort. Probably would of had better luck walking the streets to get my price. Just wasnt up for the walk (THIS TIME).

Well after reading so much about the SH hotel sauna I had to make my way there.

First of all, I set out from my Bund hotel at 9:30PM adn saw a hella long taxi line. I thought I could get a taxi faster just walking the streets. So I start walking towards E. Nanjing rd. I walk towards the building and then around the back of the block and find the SH hotel easily. But now its almost 11. 90 minutes after I left my hotel.

I walk in the lobby and to the left behind the reception desk to the elevators. Up to floor 2. Get my key, change, get plastic bag for my mobile, watch and $$. Take a quick shower. Turn down the man massage, get my pajamas and then into the girls area. I tell them I want VIP room. Since I want to try the wet-N-wild area. They direct me to that area. As.Hi Astrale, I tried to give you as much detail about finding these places as possible. If you get a decent map of Shanghai, you will be able to find the main streets that I talked about. It is then just a matter of following my directions. The place on Nanjing Xilu is the easiest to find for a visitor as it is just past Jingan Temple. Same with the place of Huaihai Lu near Xintiandi. Also, if you ask for Gubei Jia-la-for (phonetic spelling), a taxi will take you straight to Gubei. It is about 20 minutes trip from the city on a good traffic day so I would only recommend this palce to someone who alraady goes out there.

I just arrived in Shanghai and visited a BBS in Pudong after walking and window shopping. There are about 6 BBS one block South of Pudong Ave. On XiShan Rd. Near Jin Qiao Rd. Walked into the one on the North side of street nearest to Jin Qiao Rd.

In visiting the saunas/massage places, I am wondering what the "etiquette" is. Are services/negotiations advertised discussed openly to patrons or do they visit the establishments knowing that special services are offered? And after the "services" are discussed up front, are there anymore business that need to be discussed with the individual girls? As I said before, in the past I'm told by my host how much to pay, who to pay, etc so you can say I'm a bit spoiled.

Here in the states, people are discreet about things, knowing how strict LE is about this hobby. Sometimes you can visit a place known to provide service but come out with blue balls.

If you know you are wanting FS, check the price BEFORE agreeing to have them come over. Otherwise they will come with their bag of tricks to entice you to agree to FS at THEIR price. Should you then decide not to have FS, it usually ends up with them losing interest and an unsatisfying massage. I doubt these girls even know how to give a good in the first place. They come for the purpose of FS. There are however, ads by some who really can give a good clean massage with proper techniques. But its difficult to find those who can give both, I. E. Good massage & FS.

The price for taxi ride should be a reimbursement. The girls should show you receipt for the cost of the ride to your place (and you give them double that amount for a two-way ride). They usually operate from the Puxi side. 150rmb for taxi seems a bit steep. However, there is a surcharge for late night rides and you did have 2 girls come over.

But here are my additions: I opted for the 'RMB600' massage. After showering, I was approached my an older male attendant who motioned me over to his 'station'. I was a little confused but went with the flow. He instructed me to lay on the massage table and he proceeded to wash me down. Followed by a bit of a massage. I wasn't sure how to think of it but in the end it was harmless and actually relaxing. What I didn't realize at first was that this 'service' is actually extra on top of the RMB600. Another attendant came around and some words were exchanged afterwhich the second attendant explained to me that this 'service' was an extra RMB58. No biggy, but a good piece of info to realize now. Thanks to previous posters for the info on World Plaza massage. Directions were great. DongChang stop, exit gate 3 on #2 subway line. Follow to stairs or escalator down to B2. Massage looks like it could be an entrance to a Japanese or nice Chinese restaurant.

Just to confirm, nice place especially for Newbies (like me), biggest scam you can experience is the 70 kuai for the scrub, no hassle with language, prices, pyjamas, perfect starting point.

I spent some time in Shanghai recently and will share my experiences in the city. While I have been to Shanghai before I have never had time to monger. This trip provided a chance to see what the city had to offer. After landing I made my way to the hotel and checked in. My next step was to head off to a place where I could have a red rope experience. While I have had my fair share of experiences in Asia this is one I had yet to try. I caught a taxi at the hotel. The bellhop who was helping me had no idea about Tomson but the driver took one look at the name and did not even need the map. He knew exactly where it was. He dropped me off at Golden Magnolia Plaza and the place looked rather rundown with all the construction going on. I had to duck under some scaffolding to get into the entrance and then proceeded up the escalators. The place is alright but not as nice as most of the places I have been to in Hong Kong, Southern China or Macau.

An azithromycin bomb is a measure of last resort and should only be taken if and when absolutely necessary. As a matter of fact, one should stay away from antibiotics as much as possible to ensure their efficacy when they are necessary. Taking antibiotics indiscriminately will build up resistance, or, at the worst case, will create "super bugs" in your body which can't be killed.

Even if you think he is a good guy, he could turn into an asshole. All the drivers talk to each other - this is what they do while they wait for you to go somewhere. They take a nap, read the paper, smoke cigarettes, eat melon seeds, drink tea, and BS with the other drivers. What else are they going to do while waiting around for you?

Directions are from 2600 block of Pudong Ave (accross street from Shuang Yong Hotel) go south on Ju Jia Qiao Rd one block until Xi Shan take a right (cross street to south side). Foot massage place is 8-10 shops from corner with 1508 above door. It has a turn sty with ladies with hair styles in front. Ask for Xiao Tang for foot massage (30 or 40 RMB--I suggest the 40) if you don't like it leave after that.

They asked if I wanted a massage afterwards (been there twice) and I said yes, so for 100 RMB got a nice massage and after massaging my legs reached between them for the third leg as we were off. Let me know how it goes.

Based the experience of others, I opted for a visit the sauna at the Shanghai Hotel during my short stopover in that city.

This is going to be a bit of a brain dump but here goes. Jing’An district BBS and a couple of massage places thrown in, from the experience of a Chinese speaking westerner:

Wanhangdu Lu/Wuning Lu has a neon sign clearly displaying “massage” (you can’t miss it), and down the alleyway is a place that will give you an all over oil massage with happy ending for RMB118. The girls are very average looking, however there is a light behind their head so you can’t see them very clearly anyway. Works if you have a beer at the small bar next door first (where there is no action). There is another branch on Beijing Xi Lu near Wanhangdu Lu, only a couple of doors from the well lit and very obvious pink BBS (went in once, quoted RMB400 for FS, hot girls but don’t like being quoted inflated foreigner prices).

Near the corner of Wanhangdu Lu/Zhenning Lu there is another massage place, keep going on Wanhangdu Lu (veer right if coming from the previous location), you will see them just inside, wearing yellow uniforms last time I checked. This is also a proper massage with optional happy ending. They will however try to rip you off here (DO NOT agree to extra time as you’ll only get an additional 30 seconds or so), plus you need to pick the girl as there are some cute ones and some who are past it.

Off Zhenning Lu between between Wanhangdu Lu and Yuyuan Lu are two separate streets with a number of BBS (to the right if heading towards Yuyuan Lu), they are either low quality or a rip off or usually both.

Wuding Xi Lu between Wanhangdu Lu and Jiangsu Lu has three or four BBS, I think they are all FS but quality varies. I’ve had a couple of great experiences here but at other times there has been little on offer. Last time I was there was six months ago so might have changed. At least they don’t rip you off on this street if you speak Mandarin and have checked prices on this forum.

Opposite the Dia supermarket on Kangding Lu, near Yanping Lu, is a place which is just below street level, with some very cute 6 and 7’s. They will try to charge you RMB100 for a HJ but just tell them you already know the price is RMB60. Quite GFE, and I have been offered FS here for 200. It occasionally shuts, but if so is usually open again a day or two later.

On Yuyao between Wuning Lu and Yanping Lu, is a BBS about half way along, on the south side. Usual frosted window, girls on couch just inside the door. There are some very nice girls in here, however was quoted RMB100 for a HJ and they would not budge. The girl I tried in there was very very cute. Shame…

On the other side of the road much closer to the Yanping Lu intersection is another BBS, with wood panelling inside like many BBS in this area. HJ, BJ and FS are all available here (BJ 150, HJ 50, didn’t ask about FS). Pick your girl carefully as they range from 3’s to 8’s.

Diagonally across on this intersection is a HJ place, RMB50 but they will give A LOT of pressure to take a second girl (reason to not return…).

Going east now, still on Yuyao Lu but having crossed Jiaozhou Lu, there is what looks like a legit massage place on the south side. I presume it might be oily massage with happy ending, but have not tried. A few metres further west past the restaurant is another obvious BBS, you take three or four steps up to go though un-frosted glass doors. RMB50 HJ place again, also with too much pressure to take a second girl.

Another few metres east, right next to the supermarket is a small BBS, which is highly recommended. Usually get a great GFE, HJ50 with no pressure or attempt to rip you off, BJ or FS can also be had (sometimes you need to ask, sometimes they will ask you). This one is white with a frosted door.

Turn right onto Changde Lu, before you get to the subway construction, is a FS place with pink lights set back a few metres from the street (still very obvious). Have not tried.

Opposite the new factories bars on Yuyao Lu is also a couple of BBS, the girls look very hot here but from memory they are priced accordingly (being across from Muse and Elite bar probably does not help).

Still going east, there is a place on Changping Lu, between Jiangning Lu and Changhua Lu (I think – might be between Shanxi Lu and Jiangning) is a BBS that does breast massages, RMB100 (50 for regular HJ). I have had one great experience and one disappointing one here. It is on it’s own and is on the same block as a very brightly lit hotel.

On Kangding Lu between Xikang Lu and Shanxi Lu there are pink lighted FS places on both sides of the street. They are small so might be difficult to spot in daytime but easy late at night. I was quoted RMB400 for FS, but the girls look high quality. Found the same thing on Wuding Lu just east of Jiaozhou Lu, a place on it’s own so difficult to miss. Definitely worth a crack if you fancy your negotiation skills.

Last time I checked there is still a BBS open on Changde Lu cnr Kangding Lu, behind the All Days convenience store and wedged in behind the subway construction site.

If that’s all a bit much, just walk around, poke your head in a few doors and ask.

Actually, Levitian has a good point.

The Mongolians were definitely protected in Beijing, but once they venture out beyond Beijing and into Shanghai or other Chinese cities, the game is different. Without question, in Shanghai there is a lot of competition from working girls, but also from semi-pros, plenty of BBS's, saunas, massage parlors, opportunistic office girls just looking for some shopping money, girls looking for a sugar daddy (who give free samples), etc.

Plus it is entirely possible that they could disrupt any deals the local talent may have and stir up a turf battle by the established local girls in places like Bourbon street, Bar Rouge, and other bars and hotels where the trade is allowed to work.

They had it really good in Beijing, but it isn't so easy in Shanghai or South China.
