You can take the airport express but get off at Kowloon station and take a taxi (HK$20) to the Hunghom station. There you take the KCRC to CP (HK$145 - 11 departures/day). At present, there is really no direct link between between the airport and the KCRC hunghom station.

sorry to disagree - but this is NOT the cheapest/most convenient from the airport.... . The airport express is HK$120, the Taxi is HK$20, the KCRC ride from Hunghom (not Tsim sha Tsui) is HK$38 or $72 first class, the CRH is I think rmb 50, CRH to hotel RMB20. Total approx HK$248 - compared with the direct bus from the airport to Dongguang which should not cost over HK$200 and depending on which hotel, these buses go directly to the hotel. PLus the direct bus is going to take a lot shorter period of time.

Yes, had I the opportunity, I would cheerfully throttle the designer of Miraton's bathrooms. In the normal setup, the bathroom contains a standalone shower with opaque glass window opening to the bedroom (which I like), plus the bathtub/shower combo with detachable shower head. Around the bathtub's top is a raised ridge, not flush with the wall, that results in a channel for water from the shower. That water has nowhere to go but the floor.
To make matters worse, the bottom of the standalone shower's glass door sits flush with the floor, so it is extremely difficult to prevent water there from escaping the shower. Sometimes when I am using that shower in the company of another, water on the bathroom floor is not my major concern. Only later do I curse it.
It's not that most girls have trouble trashing a bathroom. Seven out of ten seem to have taken an academic course on the subject. The Miraton just makes it easy for them.
The best part of it all is telling the girl to stop using the f*cking hair dryer while standing on the flooded floor.

I completely agree with you, you hit it right on the nail. I stayed at Miraton for 3 days straight and i couldn't stand the shower situation. I mean the only erotic cool part about it is that there is a glass portion of the shower that you can see from the bed, so i find it kinda cool how you can see your girl wash up and stuff from the other side.
But it's so damn annoying when the water floods all over and it takes half a day for the water to dry up and when you go to the bathroom your feet is soaked with cold water. I feel like I'm in some water prison torture experiment or something. I'm literally brushing my teeth faster because the cold water soaking my feet down there is not helping me out at all.
But i really do prefer Walter hotel, it's cheaper and it's only across the street from Miraton. Their bathrooms don't flood like Miraton, and their safe is actually bolted down unlike Hui Mei and Hui Hwa, which i think the owner just needs to invest in some bolts and screws for the safe, it's so damn dangerous for your belongings.
But Hui Mei, actually has this really cute girl at the front reception. I've been trying to pick her up for quite some time, her name i believe is Xia Rong. She's a cutie. Really shy, petite with big eyes and smiles a lot. Ok...that's the description of 100 other girls in CP, but it's the best i can come up with.
Oh word of advice, I've heard from many sources that the Owner of New Century is CP big triad boss. He basically runs all the underground activities in CP. So, try not to make a fuss or trouble in the hotel, or hotel facilities, including the KTV. Even trouble-makers steer clear of his territory. He's also the owner of that huge apartment complex being built, that has 4 huge tall towers as well. So just be a bit careful and respectful in his facilities, that's what my contacts that live in CP for a few years have told me.

Another cheap and relatively fast option is to take bus A43 from airport to Sheung Shui KCR station. Takes about 35 to 40 minutes, only costs HK$28, and there are luggage areas on the bus as well. Sheung Shui is just one stop away from Lou Hu.

Well, I have actually visited the houses or straw huts these girls live in back in the village/countryside. The floor sin their houses sometimes consists of only semi dirt floors. I've been to a few Chinese households in California. The houses are worth probably in the 1.5 million dollars range, and the people are fairly well off, pehaps worth a few mil.
Yet they all have the same habit of leaving things on the floor everywhere in every room, clothes, papers, cooking utensils, glasses...everything was spread ut equally on the floor to the point there is no room left to walk on without stepping on something.
Chinese women seem to dislike to clean up and organize their household, or to hire people to do it. I would never be able to live with anyone that messy. It would be very depressing for me, and I am not even a neatness freak.
Tell me if CHinese wives behave differently in China. I hope their sexual habits are not similarly messy...

I have noticed that when I have one over to my apartment, their attitude changes about trashing the place and they actually leave it very tidy when done. I assume it's their mentality that a hotel is a short term thing and someone will clean up after them compared to it being someones home.

ok ok i should first rtff - but i just got back from donguan - the second time this past week and i've pretty well decided that this is going to be next mongering hang out for me. (for the sake of convenience from hkg, price, selection and most important, a change of scene from my old usual haunts of shenzhen)
my friends took me on the bus from luohu (rmb 47 from bay 39) to donguan city, and went to the k-ok at the waterfall garden hotel. rates are 2-8-11 the place is quite nice and the gals are a lot of fun (at least mine was - all giggly and boisterous the whole night). 5 of us shared a bottle of black label (jeez - hope it wasn't fake!!) and a dozen beers/mixers with 5 gals and a dj. the total bill (large room) for the drinks, dj etc was rmb1,300 and of course we all took care of our own girls.
1. is this a good price for donguan? its quite a bit cheaper than shenzhen to me
sounds about right. black usually goes for about 800 or so and a dozen beers probably run you somewhere around 400-500. small bill for 5 people. my friends and i usually hit around 2500-3000 or so if there's 5 of us. 2-8-11 seems a bit on the high side. most high end places on the west side are 2-7-10 or 2-8-10.
2. are there better/more value places in donguan city?
dg city's ok. things are a tad more expensive on the west side compared to the east side.... but places are usually better quality. exhibition hotel in dg city is pretty nice. last time i was there, they had some very nice talent working at the ktv there. sheraton in houjie is ok. it used to be better a few years ago, but people are telling me lately that girls there seem a bit spoiled by the large numbers of foreigners there and i think i agree with them.
3. changping/houjie/other donguan area place - are they better places to hang out for mongering compared to dg city?
a lot depends on what you like. cp is bigtime "in your face" with everybody on every street corner asking you if you want girls. if that's not your scene, then any of the other towns are fine. to be honest, ktv is ktv.... not much difference between one high end place and another.
4. travel suggestions for the different localities - i.e. when shud i take the direct train from hkg, or the hi speed train from shenzhen, or take the bus like i did (btw, i went back to hkg by taking the bus from dg city to huangang (rmb45) and then taking the bus to wanchai - journey time less than 2 hours).
best way is probably to take the kcr to shenzhen and then take either a bus or the guang-shen express to various places in dg.
5. any other suggestions/input/perspective on how a newbie to donguan should approach this quite vast area of mongering. i live in hkg and usually screw around a couple times a week in china.
and as far as rtff - yes, of course i did and in fact i've been reading isg quite faithfully and very regularly for at least 3 or 4 years. but donguan does get me all confused - sooooooo much choice, variety, prices, ways etc etc.!!

dg is pretty big, but i think i mentioned before, it's almost the same everywhere you go. cp is really popular right now because it's really easy to navigate and get to via the guang-shen express. they have more or less everything most guys would go for. it's especially good if you like the bbs scene since there's so many of them. if you're more into the ktv or sauna scene, then cp's not really any different than any other big town like humen, houjie, dg city, chang , etc., etc.there's nothing really special about ktv in cp with the possible exception of the versailles and jiayi where they have the big hall of girls. to be honest though, the big hall of girls doesn't really do it for me so i tend to go to other places.

It's because you grew up in the west. If you go to any home in Asia (China, Korea, Japan), you'll see all bathrooms have drains on the floor. When you see Asians bathe, they literally fill the bathtub up to the rim, then go in and completely flood their bathrooms. Most bathrooms don't even have shower curtains or doors. They just have a shower head stuck on the wall and the entire bathroom gets wet when they shower. Asians either expect or don't mind a bathroom floor being wet. It's just a different custom and nothing you do really is going to change it.
I have a good room with big bed and safe at the Hui Mei for only 260. The internet connection seems to be pretty fast.

I concur that Hui Hua is the best hotel for business with larger rooms to romp in and a better executive floor. It also has more girls running through its lobby through out the day meeting clients and going to work. Huge KTV and sauna facilities. Breakfast is always fun to see who stayed over. Its just slightly more expensive and you need connections to get the discounted rates. More English is spoken by the staff also. My first choice, though Meriton is nice and so is the Crown Prince but too far from the rest of the action. Santa knows his stuff so I would also follow his recommendation for less expensive accomodations with internet access.

I had a friend that stayed at the Hui Hua and I meet him many times. The staff and some of the guests there seems to be stuck up, not cheerful, and have poor manners. I tried exchanging money at the front desk, and guests there don't know the meaning of a line. I starting getting pissed, even the staff there just helps whoever's the first one that shoves stuff in their face, like room key, money, etc... so if you need help there, just run up to the workers and shove shit in their face and they will help you, no need wait in line. Fuck the other customers that are there, just shove them aside and stick one arm with your business in the staff's face. Another incident was at the breakfast buffet, that I had to pay, I forgot how much, I think 80 rmb. It was 5 minutes past 10am and I was asking for orange juice and they said I had to pay for it, because the breakfast buffet was closed already. I was like wtf.
All this happened the same morning. So I told myself I would never stay in this obnoxious hotel, ever. Hui Mei is in a better location and I always had fun at their ktv and bar. Maybe I'll stay there next time, even though they are affiliated hotels. Miraton, I like the staff there, never got rude service there and I stayed there for over 21 days.

Been to CP 3 times. Stayed at Miraton twice and Hui Hua (the one besides MacDonalds) once.

Just wanna clarify one thing. Miraton's toilet did not give me the problems you guys faced. So, was it the hotel's chocked piping that caused the flooding or was it the girls' toilet habit that was bad?
I heard from my driver that the BBS in CP is expensive. He proposed a district that is 20 minutes away. Cost 150RMB. Anyone knows about it?

You REALLY like to generalize about the Chinese don't you??? You meet a couple of nice hookers and you think that Chinese society is great. Then you meet a couple messy housewives and you think they're all dirty. I hate to tell you this, but just like people everywhere else in the world, Chinese are all different. There are tall ones, short ones, nice ones, rude ones, and clean ones and messy ones. Just because you met some messy Chinese people you now think that Chinese women don't like to clean?? I have a neighbor who's crazy clean. She goes through something like 4 bottles of floor cleaner a week. This lady won't hire a maid because she's yet to fine one who can clean to her satisfaction. i had to learn the hard way. but never take the blue taxis. only take the yellow ones.
on several occasions i sat on the blue taxis and their fees are higher than the yellow cabs, and they charge you an extra 1 rmb on top of your fare. apparently, before the blue taxis use to dominate the legal taxi market, but now they have the yellow cabs as competition. what i don't get is, with mroe competition supply, there should be a decrease in price. but the blue cabs are still charging more.
i mean 1 rmb doesn't matter all that much, but for some reason it just ticks me off when my cab fare was 18 and when i gave them a 20 they only gave me 1 rmb back.

I had a friend that stayed at the Hui Hua and I meet him many times. The staff and some of the guests there seems to be stuck up, not cheerful, and have poor manners. I tried exchanging money at the front desk, and guests there don't know the meaning of a line. I starting getting pissed, even the staff there just helps whoever's the first one that shoves stuff in their face, like room key, money, etc... so if you need help there, just run up to the workers and shove shit in their face and they will help you, no need wait in line. Fuck the other customers that are there, just shove them aside and stick one arm with your business in the staff's face. Another incident was at the breakfast buffet, that I had to pay, I forgot how much, I think 80 rmb. It was 5 minutes past 10am and I was asking for orange juice and they said I had to pay for it, because the breakfast buffet was closed already. I was like wtf.
All this happened the same morning. So I told myself I would never stay in this obnoxious hotel, ever. Hui Mei is in a better location and I always had fun at their ktv and bar. Maybe I'll stay there next time, even though they are affiliated hotels. Miraton, I like the staff there, never got rude service there and I stayed there for over 21 days.Dan,

Very interesting yesterday, with a star studded cast of Mongers to include: OAH, Bill Lee, Santa, Wadman, Tiger888, Sukimvetter, Merlin, Laowai123, Gentilman Jim, a couple of other mongers not on ISG as of yet, myself (i.e. Homer) and the guest of honor, straight on the rebound: SE Asia Joe.
I think it might have been one of the largest get-togethers to date. It seemed like a big parade to most of the locals, but the mommies where wetting themselves to see many of us come rolling in.

Just to let bros know about one of the generic performance pills I tried during my recent trip. Much cheaper than Viagra or Cialis and no side-effects whatsoever except perhaps a fuller cock. Feels a bit hottish since blood remaining in cock for longer than normal. Haha. Very safe IMHO. One pill taken even a few hours before deed is sufficient. No need half hour before.

Actually I took these pills only out of curiosity but luckily no side effects.
I never tried Viagra or Cialis before but saw lots being openly offered while I was holidaying in Manila and Angeles City.

I have taken quite a few of the different types of pills (I like to live on the razors edge) and even tried the moist towelette you wipe on your tool. Some worked, some did not, but most all had mild to major side effects.
I have heard some of these are sprayed with anti-freeze and others with a pesticide, banned in the USA.
I now only use the brand my friend recommends who owns a small shop in Shenzhen. I have been using "Tiger" now for about 4-5 months without any major side effects (slight headache if I take a whole tablet). Comes in a small metal box with 6 tabs (recommend only taking half a tab). I would suggest not to test any of these pills, if you have any medical problems especially with your ticker.
legit V and C can be bought from most all reputable pharmacies here.

Having first browsed the website for a few hours I quickly came to the conclusion that ISG is a treasure chest and that the subscription price does IMHO not reflect its real value but is more of a simbolic price. If you are planning on mongering only cp, zhu hai and shenzhen will be good for 12 days you should start in shenzhen, Hanian is still ok also you can enjoy the beach and sun.
There are many hotel options in CP you should able to find a room with no problems same go for the other city in China but it is wise to book room in the other city in asia, try www.asiaroom.com

Try Hui Hua Hotel. It's a bit more pricey, but i feel that they are probably one of the best qualities in CP. However, the safe from what i recall, is NOT bolted down. But it feels like a 5 star hotel.

Hope you are prepared for the fun in CP. In my recommendation, I would only go to China CP and perhaps Thailand if you are strictly going for mongering purposes. Other than those places, i find other countries to be quite a bore.
On average (from my personal opinion) I find Chinese girls to be prettier than girls from other countries. For example, In Vietnam, I walked the streets of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, and i didn't find any of the girls to be particularly pretty.
But in CP, every other girl i see, i find them to be at least a 7 in my books. There's just so much more eye candy in China in general. I mean each province has their good quality of girls.
North East Girls from China, have really tall girls, with nice long legs and some I've encountered have a mixed feature of White and Asian mixed together.
Xian, has this exotic look I find appealing as well.
Inner Mongolians have really good body figures on average. They seem to be a bit more open in the erotic aspect as well.
Sichuan girls have great skin. And they tend to have bigger breasts as well. Although some may appear shorter on average.
Fujian girl's personality seem to be a bit more tender. Of course this is all generalization from a few encounters. But Fujian girls are a bit more relaxed and they way they talk are a bit sweeter than Northern Girls.
I prefer Hubei over Hunan girls. Just because i f ind hubei girls to be a bit more genuine and Hunan girls to be a bit more cunning. Out of all the times that i've been trick by girls, most of the time are from hunan girls.
Basically, all of my opinions stated above are all generalizations. Every province has their goods and bads. However, I'm just saying that China gives you a better array of girls in general. There's more eye candy here than other countries.
Although girls in Thailand can party hard, I still prefer the overall quality and feel of Chinese girls. So if you only have 6 weeks for mongering, i would suggest putting aside more time in China for mongering than spending your money on other countries that yield less positive results.

I wish that you two could make peace with each other. Man, if we were all in CP, I'd just take you two to a KTV to have a peace agreement meeting. The Lucky is good and only costs 170-180 rmb, but the internet is slow and some rooms do not have internet.
Cheaper still is the HuaYu at the back of the Lucky. Only 130 rmb. The rooms are clean but small. Slow internet. It is also a good option.
I have never stayed at the nearby Lion Hotel but they have very very nice but small rooms. 230rmb I think.
If you are only here for a short visit and not concerned about saving a few bucks the Miraton and Hui Hua are best. Starting at 330rmb to 360rmb I think.
There are others, but these are all close together on the main strip.

It's quite a simple direct trip from SZ to CP if you take the train. Take the GuangShen Railway, located in LoHu Station in SZ. You take the SZ to Changping station. And you are there. Just as easy as that.
If you want to take the taxi, it becomes quite complicated.
Two ways for Taxi:
1. You take a direct taxi from SZ to CP. Not many taxi drivers want to drive you that far since they pay for gas there, but it's hard to find clients that want to come back to SZ from CP.
as a result.... they take you to this area before the freeway entry to CP and they drop you off there, and a whole bunch of CP taxi's come rushing and bidding for your business to go to CP. These CP taxi's are taxi's that dropped someone off from CP to SZ and they want to drive a client back to CP to earn money, so they don't end up swallowing the whole cost of the gas price from SZ to CP without any customers. I would not recommend taking the taxi, unless you are a seasoned veteran of SZ and CP and know chinese fluently. Long Taxi rides for newbies could end up in something bad. Robbery or being dropped off somewhere you don't want to be at.
So just take the train, it's the fastest way to CP.
To answer your question. Dongguan is like a county/city almost. Dongguan has like 25 towns within it's county/city. Changping is only 1 town out of 25 of them. But just one town has a population of 750,000 to 1 million people. Changping is the only town that Guangzhen railway stops at in Dongguan. The next stop is Guangzhou.

Solution: You just fuck her until you get tired of her. Then later, if you want her again, you just call her and fuck her until you get tired of her. Over and over and over again, etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.. I heard you can negotiate 1 month rental service from the BBS and KTV girls, the later will hit your wallet harder.
In this case, just think with ONLY your small head. No harm no foul. Just have fun with her. If you start thinking with your big head, then you are in trouble, drop everything and GTFO :)

I had this problem with a KTV girl in Korea. For at least 3 months, I was totally infatuated with her, called/emailed/texted etc. In the end, the memory of her was better than the reality. When we met the second and third time, it just wasn't as good. Her attitude and look didn't change, just the magic of the first time wasn't there. I suspect she was more hurt than I was inconvenienced (generally true for these types of relationships, I think)
There really are only two possible paths, either you pursue it (but it will certainly end, whether good or bad and you'll deal with it, but such is life), or don't and enjoy the memories. IMHO. Cheers and enjoy.

In response to Dan Hawaii, wise set of advice. It's usually what I do. But there always comes one of those manipulative girls out there. I mean, they are the hard ones to deal with. They don't ask for anything in return, they are sweet talkers. Give you a sob story and you sort of just ignore it after a while. But when they are slowly persuasive, pretend not to be jealous of you doing other girls, patient and always give you freebies, despite sometimes she just asks you to treat her to dinner from time to time, you start letting down your guard. I mean this sorta happened to me and my friend.
My friend picked up a foot massage girl in SZ. She was the innocent type. In the beginning my friend asked to take her out, with the intent to do the deed. But when they went out, she refused to do it with him. This allowed her to hook on my friend. Later on, after a couple of weeks, my friend was able to nail her. When my friend offered her money or present in return, she was really upset. She told him, "I'mnot that type of girl. Even without money, I'd still want to make love to you because you are special"
With this type of comment, any guy will be sorta touched in some way or other. As time went on, she never demanded anything, but in return she actually started making him presents. She didn't have much money, but her actually making small gifts from scratch, touched my friend even more. This hooked him on and I had to spend 3 weeks convincing him that she was not the type to fall for. But he was that close to doing it. Good thing, a few weeks later, coincidentially, I saw her with a guy, seemed like a bf to me. But man, I got to tell you, Chian girls are pretty cunning. Guys, I cam across this situation in CP a couple of months ago. So I go into a BBS, I see this really cute girl. Didn't have much of a body, but her face was just so cute. I picked her off at the yalan area, the room next to the abandoned 7th floor KTV place.
In any case, so I was really feeling happy that I got a good find. Took her back to the hotel, talked to her for a bit. She starts talking to me about how she's going out tonight to shing di to party with her bf. I assumed that it was some other monger and such, but she told me that he was a guy back from her village. Apparently, her bf had no job, and so HE convinced her to work in a BBS to supposedly "raise money for their future". She was complaining how she gives most of her money back to her bf, and he has no job and gambles it all away.
When I heard this I felt sorry for her. But at the same time, I realize that she's an idiot to be with this kinda guy. What a shame, that such a cute girl is being used by her bf.
So apparently, this isn't just her, it's not just an isolated case. I appears that many girls in CP and other places in Dongguan and China, are doing this for the sake of their BF. I don't know whether I should admire them for their extreme faith in their relationship, or shake my head in disappointment for being such a idiot for falling into the guy's trap.
But regardless, it's none of my business because she was still cute. But it's strange to see how some of these girls are working in these BBS, not for sending money back to their village, but doing this for some guy who eats, drinks and gambles their money away.
So in conclusion, some girls are really stupid, and some girls in China are scary cunning and smart.

Out of all the Dongguan towns that I've been to, I'm a bit disappointed with the KTVs in CP. I mean, i've been to about 4 of them so far. Hui Mei, Walter, Shing Di and Taoyuen.
Walter KTV's are just bad. The quality of girls are just not good at all.
Hui Mei is pretty decent, but still not that many selections, or perhaps the types i like were taken that night.
Shing Di has pretty good eye candy, but not all the girls go out with you. It just happens to be that the pretty ones don't go out and the not so pretty ones do go out with you.
Taoyuen (near Shing Di area) has one of the largest selections that I've ever seen. However, many of the girls are 6-7 quality. I mean it feels great when you first go in and you see them come line up for you i n rows upon rows, and you see at least 80 girls greet you when you walk through the hallways. It was a good experience because they had so many girls there. but the quality isn't really all that great.
I heard that other towns in Dongguan have better girls. Chang An and Houjie and even Prince hotel has prettier girls, although the sitting fee starts at 300RMB and up.
I mean CP still has the best BBS and other stuff, but in terms of their KTVs i find myself not so impressed. Did i just happen to go on off days or something?
Any KTV's that you guys feel has the best looking girls in CP?
P.S.- on one of the KTV trips, i even went there extra early like at 6 pm thinking i'd get the first pick over other people. Then when i got there too early, all the mommies told me that some of their girls are still getting made up and getting ready. Big mistake.....i hope my mistakes can be other's gains.

They do not provide girls and there is no room service. You choose your music from a computer in your room.
Of course, the attraction is the price. Prime time is between 6pm and 1am. The price then for a 6 person room is only 52rmb per hour. Beers are 10 to 12 rmb. They have small kegs of draft beer for only 80rmb. A fruit platter is only 30rmb. It is full on weekend evenings and so you need to reserve a room.
The main entrance is above the entrance to the Minrun Market, next to the dumpling restaurant. You can also enter at the steps next to the new sauna.
Shrimp Fishing. In a small road, opposite Mito's Cafe at the far end of the square, is a shop which has a pool full of shrimp. You rent a small fishing rod for one hour for 40rmb, catch your own shrimp, and then they cook them for you. Some guys take their dates there. Next door is a large snooker and pool hall. If you are alone you can play snooker with one the girls working there. No, they are not pretty girls but they can use a cue stick. I think it costs 20 rmb. 5rmb tip to the girl.

I have taken buses from within Shenzhen to places in southern China in the past few years and it seems to be a common practice to have your video be taken as you board the bus. I do not speak Chinese and people that I have traveled with have given me different explanation as to why this is done. The bottom line is that in case they need to know who was in a bus, they have the video. There is no difference between this and thousands of surveillance cameras (CCTV) that are everywhere in China.
A year or so ago my coworker's pocket was picked at a railroad station and after reporting it to police, they took us to the security room in the station to look at the surveillance videos and they matched our time of entrance from the taxi receipt and they had the video from the time the taxi entered the station drop-off point all the way to the time we entered the waiting area and he was going through his pockets pockets in search of the stolen stuff. So don't worry, be happy :)

-all the mini-van drivers now accept 10 RMB. They used to be firm on 15 but now will all take 10 RMB with 5 seconds of bargaining (ie. -the Lucky Hotel rooms is about 80% the quality of the Miraton's rooms at about 50% of the price. I was impressed
-Night Market has gone down in terms of quantity and quality, even on Saturday night
-the bus ride from CP to Zhuhai sucks, took 3.5 hours/70 RMB with little/no traffic, next time will definately take a private car. Took a private car from Zhuhai to CP and it was exactly 2 hours/350 RMB and I didn't push it on the price though my feeling was I could have it for 300-320 RMB. Paying that price for one person is a bit dubious, but share the ride with one other person and it's totally worth it.

ZMT, for those of you who don't know already. Is the Mistress Capital for Hong Kong guys. They stick their mistresses in ZMT. So when you walk around the malls and such during the day time on weekdays, you see a whole bunch of pretty girls walking around with no guys around. Dan. Having been to Manila, but not Angeles, I can say that Manila has lots of women but the "scenario" is different. CP is KTVs and BBS. There are no "girl" bars or discos or strip clubs or hostess bars. And there are not many caucasians.

#2 I took the train from HK Kowloon station to Dongguan and it turned out that it is about 50km away from Sheraton DG. I took local on the way there and paid 140RMB and took express on way back and paid 200RMB. Do not let the cab driver charge you another 30RMB for the toll back, he is bullshitting.
#3 I was at Sheraton KTV on Friday and Saturday night, prices were 3-8-10 or 5-10-12 for supposedly higher grade.
Both nights, I saw about 50 women per night, a mix of both grades, and took the normal grade each time. I saw nothing special about the higher priced ladies and there is no 3000 RMB price.
I was paying 780 RMB for the room in Sheraton, but the mommy told me she can get me a room for 548 through her, DARN! :D
My buddy brought home one of the DJ's since he fancied her, and the assitant mommy was also available if any of us wanted.

Welp. I made it here in one piece. Stayed at the Jia Hua Grand Hotel. At least that's what the translation is on the CTS schedule. The trip cost me 200 HK. You have to get off at HK and China customs. It wasn't too too busy so the ride was ok. PS. They all lie to you when it comes to the times it takes to get to the destination.
I ran into a guy going to Humen and he had to get off at chang an and they put him on a cab to get to Humen.
Went to KTV in the hotel and it was ok. I wasn't happy with the chic so I bounced her at the end of the night. Paid 300. I don't know what the room cost but it was around 2500 last I checked before I jammed. For LT it was rumored to be in the 1300 area. I wasn't about to find out.
I wne to the sauna instead. It was excellent. They had tiers. 4/5/6. I found it odd. But wtf. I went with the 6 and I was not disappointed. The rooms also had tiers. I had 333.
The area looks like CP. The store fronts and stuff. But I 'm not venturing out it's pretty medival looking outside the hotel compounds.
I wish I could've met up in CP. I would feel more comfortable there since everything's in walking distance and I felt relaitvely safe on the main street. I'll see if I can convince to have day trip there. I wonder how far it is from here?
AS for quality vs. Qauntity. For the price they asking for. Blah. Maybe I'll try the shearton KTV. But I'm kinda like over the KTV experience. Only going there to have fun adn buzzed. And that's it. UNLESS I get one that's kewl. I tried to get the chic to suck on my finger and she wasn't too enthusedabout it. I pretty much took that as precursor of waht would happen. RTFF for info on Houjie (took me about an hour and that was just for a search under "Houjie", didn't bother trying "Hou Jie" or "HJ"). Sheraton and Cinese seem to be the best bets for KTV and Kande seems the best bet for sauna. Few follow up questions:
1) Saw one post about Sheraton sauna running RMB1168??? Seems awfully steep as Shanghai Hotel sauna is only RMB688 or so (I would assume that prices in Shanghai are generally higher than DG)
That's only because they have different classes of girls. The room itself is less than 300, think like 260 or something. It should be noted that the Sheraton Houjie is a much nicer hotel than the Shanghai Hotel. The sauna rooms are all 5 star clean. The girls are tiered though at 4/6/8 xiaofei. Seriously though, the 800 girls are not any better looking or performing really, unless you have a strong preference for taller girls. There's one thing I always thought was kind of funny about the Sheraton sauna girls. When they come into the little viewing room, they're all wearing a robe. After they enter, they open the robe to reveal lingerie. I guess that's so you can get a better look at their bodies or something.
2) From the DG train station (I guess that it's actually closer to CP than to DG downtown), what's the taxi fare to HJ?
If you're coming from Luohu, just take the bus. From CP to Houjie is going to be about 40 minutes or so.
3) Sheraton KTV - tiered system on pricing. Something about the color of dress indicating the LT price. Can anyone out there clarify the system? Is there really a RMB3000 price range? Seems a little absurd to me unless she completely rocks my world two or three times over.

JiaYi may be the best line-up in S. China. Hui Mei KTV can get pretty wild, but I was there with Moody and HE has a way of getting the girls wild.
BBS in Yalan Hotel area are safe. Just go to the area and follow the mamas to the shops. Every taxi or van driver in CP knows the Yalan Hotel. Don't worry, the mamas will approach you before you get out of the taxi.

Dan. Having been to Manila, but not Angeles, I can say that Manila has lots of women but the "scenario" is different. CP is KTVs and BBS. There are no "girl" bars or discos or strip clubs or hostess bars. And there are not many caucasians.
Manila has lots of bars where the girls are "hostesses" or dancers. On Burgos Street in Makati there are about 25 bars that have take out women. There are many such bars along Roxas Boulevard. There are massage parlors similar to Bangkok. There are many upbeat restaurants. Manila has plenty to do.
The girls in Manila speak very good English.
On one of your trips to HK you might take PI Airlines from Honolulu and spend a couple of days in Makati. The Makati Palace on Burgos Street is good because it is within a block of good bars. You could have good days there and still get to HK

KTV is KTV and to be honest, if you go to any of the major KTVs in CP, the experience is almost identical. The exception being Jiayi and Versailles because you can look at all the girls all at once when you do the picking. Once that part is over though, it's like going anywhere else except the girls bother you about buying them drinks. The meat market concept is not really a draw for me anymore so I'd rather go to other places where I'm more comfortable. BTW, taking back 2 at the same time is over rated. With very rare exceptions, one of the girls will either wait in the bathroom or turn her back and watch TV while you're doing the other one. Don't expect any of the girls to do any bi or lezzy stuff.

Yalan is a 6-7 minute ride by car from where the main hotels are. There's a bunch of shops over there with girls. It's not THAT happening, but it's easy to get to and there's a lot of shops within a short distance. You could just as easily get a girl from those bread trucks.

It is pretty safe, but I did read one time someone got kidnapped and got their atm card maxed out. But all you need to do is follow the mommy and stick your head in the door to look if there are girls in the room. Dont go all the way into the room. Keep your body on the outside so you can blitz it out of there if your intuition says GTFO. If there are girls, then it is pretty sure to be a "legit" BBS. Legit BBS, hahaha, no such thing, but you know what I mean.
3.Yalan BBS
There are lots of BBS's in Yalan, better than on the CP strip. So just tell the cab, Yalan KTV and they will take you right into BBS land. It is worth the trip, lots of talent in Yalan.
Times to go?
KTVs- no later than 7pm, but try to get there at 6:40pm for the cream of the crop pickings of girls.
BBS- Sunday to Thursday go between 3-5pm, no later than 7pm. On Friday and Saturday, go between 2-4 pm, no later than 5pm.

There's a lot of reasons to be in SZ, but since Shazui is no longer what it used to be, getting girls really isn't one of them unless you don't mind spending like 3-5K or so for a girl. Talent in the high end KTVs in SZ is quite a bit better than DG. There's only a few places that qualify as really "high end" in SZ and nobody really writes about them because not many people on the board go to them. Most of the middle range places in SZ (places where girls are 1500 all night) are very similar to the better places in DG. If you really want to go to a high end place, I'll give you names and stuff.
Macau is a bit different. First of all, there's the gambling. If you like casinos, then that's a draw by itself. Second, saunas in Macau have an international flavor. You can get everything from Vietnamese, Mongolian, Russian, Korean, Malay, Japanese, Ukrainian, Chinese and more. Saunas in Macau also tend to be a bit more.... I don't know..... out in the open? At some places girls parade around where all the guys hang out and stuff unlike in China where you wait in a room and they bring a lineup. There's also the Lisboa thing. Once the novelty of the girls walking in a circle for hours wears off, it's nothing special. I didn't really get a chance to go to KTV in Macau. My friends and I would always gamble way into the early morning and then head to a sauna. A couple times we did go to discos and I saw some girls there. Be careful who you approach though. Bus would take about an hour, same with a car. A private car would be around 200 or so and a bus ticket about 30 IIRC. Taxis are supposed to have a flat rate to places in DG, but I'm not sure what it is since I never took one. If I had to guess, it would be in the 200-300 range. BTW, the Houjie bus station is about a block from the Sheraton.

I really don't think it has much to do with the Olympics, that is just what some are using as an excuse. The Olympics are not being held in CP or even in South China (less the equestrian events in HK).
Been coming here long enough to notice how little CP wants to become a modern big CP. My 2 cents are that the BBS and the xiaojie on the street will be a thing of the past and will be replaced by fancy, high end KTV's and Massage Joints were the xiaojie is moved indoors and the prices go up.
A lot more cops and crowd control fellas now then there used to be, I just see these raids as becoming more and more common. The shops will eventually end up moving or closing.

There's a lot of reasons to be in SZ, but since Shazui is no longer what it used to be, getting girls really isn't one of them unless you don't mind spending like 3-5K or so for a girl. Talent in the high end KTVs in SZ is quite a bit better than DG. There's only a few places that qualify as really "high end" in SZ and nobody really writes about them because not many people on the board go to them. Most of the middle range places in SZ (places where girls are 1500 all night) are very similar to the better places in DG. If you really want to go to a high end place, I'll give you names and stuff.
Macau is a bit different. First of all, there's the gambling. If you like casinos, then that's a draw by itself. Second, saunas in Macau have an international flavor. You can get everything from Vietnamese, Mongolian, Russian, Korean, Malay, Japanese, Ukrainian, Chinese and more. Saunas in Macau also tend to be a bit more.... I don't know..... out in the open? At some places girls parade around where all the guys hang out and stuff unlike in China where you wait in a room and they bring a lineup. There's also the Lisboa thing. Once the novelty of the girls walking in a circle for hours wears off, it's nothing special. I didn't really get a chance to go to KTV in Macau. My friends and I would always gamble way into the early morning and then head to a sauna. A couple times we did go to discos and I saw some girls there. Be careful who you approach though. I have not been to those places, except Crown Prince. I did not mention that one because it is kind of farther away. There are around 200 girls there and are around 8 in quality, moderately high pricing. The real attraction is the show and it is a 5 star hotel.
Goodview is also a winner with a 300 hall of girls, high pricing, 6 star hotel. But really far from CP, like 50 minutes drive. Quality of girls is 8. Minus as well stay at Goodview hotel while there. The drive is kind of a turn off for the girls, and may negatively affect the party atmosphere in the KTV room.
I heard PP is a good fun place, cheap and party girls there. Never went though, maybe next time. I know you know the mama there. Maybe I'll hit you up for her contact info again.

Geez CPE, I'm not lucky like you, you live there!!! I have to make time to travel there, and I'm forced to come back home. Travelling there takes me 23 hours, flight, check-in, waiting, delays, train, stopovers, taxis, etc... So when I do make the time to go out of my way and travel for 23 hours, I'm sure as hell going to make it worth my while. That means banging 3 girls a day or as many as I physically can. And when I physically can not, I start popping all kinds of vitamin V, Vitamin C, generics, and the sort. The Night Market was closed again last night at 11pm "because of the police". Shutters and doors closed, no girls on the street.
Contrary to earlier reports there have been no price increases in CP. Back of HuiMei area is still 150. Night Market is still 150. Yalan is still 200. The 3 shops where the big tree is are still trying to charge 250, especially the room on the far right, but they quickly come down to 200 when you start to walk. First of all, I'd like to thank all you veterans who posted some amazing, and entertaining reports on the Dongguan thread. I plead guilty to losing many nights of sleep, not being able to "find the right time to stop". Well, it's time to pay back with a nice long post for the noobs.
After weeks and weeks of RTFF, I decided to crash in Kowloon for one night (as my flight didn't arrive at HKIA until 11:30PM on SUN night). I directed a cabby to the Triumphal Arch Sauna. WTF. I was the only one there! Well, after paying HK404 and being "legitimately massaged" by a 5. 5, at least I managed to learn something from her. Shenzhen is sucking the life out of HK. All the mongers have evacuated across the border. No duh for all you expats who live here, but as a visitor, I did not realize it was so severe. Well, I got up, naturally, at 6:30AM, tipped the towel boy, and tried to ask him how to get to Shenzhen by train. It was quite challenging as he spoke no Mandarin nor any English and I spoke no Cantonese. Thought I had to get to Hong Hum station, but both the towel boy and the massage girl laughed at me. Well, that was enough for me to understand that if I walked around the corner, I could find a station. Well, the reason I didn't get the fact that Mong Kok East was right there was my map was out of date. BTW, you can find ATMs right at the station. Worked fine with a Citibank card.
First Impression? Damn, this place is clean (at least brand-spankin' new) compared to HK. No funky smells. So far. Next, I had to ask an officer for advice for getting to The Shenzhen Landmark Hotel. The Shenzhen Metro Network, orders of magnitude simpler than the Tokyo Subways, showed that all I had to do was get to Huizhanzhongxin and transfer once to get to Luohu. Yes, that's when I realized that I should have taken Lo Wu instead of Lok Ma Chau. But the scenic route was quite interesting for this first-timer. http://www.urbanrail.net/as/shen/shenzhen. Htm Took a cab and got to The Shenzhen Landmark. WTF. The bathroom is bigger than some apartments in Tokyo! Did a 5 minute bee-line for the area behind Seibu. Did a 6. 5 for RMB150 upstairs and later that night, a 7. 5 for the same. All the good ones appear to be in one shop. I have done the deed in dirty places before, but it didn't strike me as how DANGEROUSLY dirty those BBS were until later on, I was trying to clean a stain off my jacket that came from hanging it up. I suddenly realized if I had a cut or a rash, there is a high likelihood of catching some nasty infection as bad or worse than something a careless monger may catch. Before leaving the Landmark (soon to be renamed the Crowne Plaza Hotel), I decided to try their discounted (I think 1/2 price) RMB538 legitimate spa treatment. Both the massage and the aromatherapy wrap were excellent. Tuesday morning, I asked the concierge for the train station to Tangxia as the Goodview Tangxia was my next stop. His reply? Take the bus for RMB28 (come to think of it, was it really that cheap? ! ? ). Who am I to argue with a local after my experience in Kowloon? In about an hour, I was within striking range as I saw names familiar after hours spent scouring the ISG: Golden Lake Hotel and a few other names, I decided to pop off the next hotel and cab it in. Turned out that I was in a negotiated-car-only-zone (luckily, I had read about this earlier in my RTFF sessions so it wasn't that big a shock. Just tried to be cautious). I asked the hotel staff and they said it should be around RMB20 for 20min. Damn Dongguan is big! Guy outside approaches me and offers RMB40 so I walk away and he offers RMB30 and says no one will go lower than 35. I walk for one minute and a new guy offers me RMB30. I take it. In about 25min, I am at the Goodview Tangxia.
The approach to the Goodview reminds me of some luxury resorts in Okinawa and Hawaii, but this hotel is sitting next to a lake in an industrial area of Dongguan. Hmm. Nevertheless, a very impressive-looking hotel. Spent some time looking around the place and taking a swim in the pool, waiting for the 7PM KTV bar-time. Couldn't wait any longer so I asked the bellboy, Otis, for help. He sends a petit 8 and a busty 7 to my room for 600 ST and 800 LT, which sounded kind of high to me, but I was in a hurry. I took the 8 for 600 ST. The service was about a 6. What's even worse, afterwards, she asked for 300 for the bellboy. WTF? ! ? I told her I would pay him directly later. What would happen if I don't pay him? What do the veteran mongers suggest that should do?
Had a late dinner and headed for the KTV bar for a beer at around 7:15. ISG reports were right. Lots of quantity, but not much quality. Went back to study a bit and realized that I should check out the action in the 1F Sauna. Watch out as the 2F Spa is legit and heavily advertised. Don't end up in the "unintended place". 398 for a room, but I had to wait. When I asked for how long, the reception worked a little harder and got me to 2F right away. A manager brought me into a small room with a stone table, a glass shower, a toilet, a bed, and a steam sauna, all very tastefully designed. She asks me what type I like and I told her thin is better. In a couple minutes, in comes a 17yo 9. 5 from up north (maybe Harbin? ) and an older 8. Kaching! Jackpot. I have to say that I was pretty amazed about some of the things she did with fire and with her tongue and with the rest of her (all separately). #228. Her wanting to watch TV was a little annoying, but her attitude was so casual and GFE-like that it didn't bother me too much. Damage: 500 for the girl. Service: 9 Attitude: 10 Face: 9. 5 Body: 9 Overall: 9. 5 Once again, I must agree with the recent reports: the quality at Tangxia Goodview is at the Sauna, not at the KTV. In a word, AWESOME. I was planning to stay at the Goodview on WED night and then head for the Dongguan Crown Prince for THU and FRI, before leaving for home on SAT, but I will prolly stay at the Goodview for the rest of the week.

Yes Erik, there are not just one but quite a few places like that. Some even sports more than 300. A few years back there was a place with atleast 500 on a weekend evening. There are more than a few places with such 300+ lineups. As for the pics here is my take on it.
You could try to pull your digital camera out and flash a few pics. you could find this at quite a few of the ktvs' in the area. some even have more than 300. If you pull a camera out and take a few flash, no fewer than half a dozen guys will converge on you and beat the shit out of you and then ask you why did you take them pics.
A few years ago, a few pics of Amazon ktv hall of gals appear on a local HK magazine and the cops came down on them. not a pretty site. So Erik, be my guest and take a few pics but before doing that ask a senior member that is known to be able to kick half a dozen guys balls in a flash first on how to fend off these security guys that will be coming out of nowhere. Practice on a few dummies and then go and try to take a few digital pics for some of the newbies to see.
btw,,, if you do not survive, we will be chatting about you for the next month about the guy that tried to take a few photos. We will all gather for a celebrated wake for you at one of these ktvs' and sing song for your glorious memory. I may even buy a few round of drinks in your honor.
The 300 girls lineup really is only for your eyes. I have seen the Nevada cathouses and these lineup put those Nevada cathouses to shame.

this afternoon, feeling horny after a few pussyfree hours, i ventured outside the hotel with loso and we were immediately accosted by a young sexy mommy with a slight scar that gave character to a beautiful face. she led us to her place of business, an appartment in a block 2' away from the hotel.
as usual selection was tricky. whatever the place they always try to dump the ugly ones on you first in the vain hope to get rid of them for the day. with laowai they must imagine we all want fat, big boned girls with ugly skin, so they systematically throw us the tall chubby moustached ones first. in this case as loso69 was leaving in a couple hours and had packed all his gear, he couldn't possibly select one. i am never one to let a mommy down so i obliged and took 2 for myself. those 2 single-handedly (figure of speech..) managed to get through a full day's condom supply in about 2 hours.

FYI everything back to normal at the night market. Even late last night (1:30 am) things were back in gear it seems. The police car was still around but that didn't deter the mommies nor the girls from showing up and the selection was quite decent.
Tonight got an excellent one from there at around 12:30, right under the nose of 2 cops in their police car. I'll post some pics if there's an option for posting more than one at a time on this site.
