L.K. Metro in central Pattaya [Archive]

based on a trip i made a few weeks ago, i think soi lk metro is a very good central location to spend a few days or weeks in pattaya.

i stayed at a small hotel, the pasadena lodge. i liked it and the room rate was very reasonable (1000 baht/n). you can view my full report with pictures here: http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=1037357&postcount=1896

there are many options for places to stay on the soi including longer-term apartments.

i found a good spot for breakfast just around the corner on soi diana in a little open air plaza. english breakfast was 89 baht. coffee was good, too. next to the restaurant, there is a pharmacy that stocks all the necessary ed meds that a monger might need.

for fun, devil's den (nasty threesomes) is right there, as is [CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)'s (oral fun), and champagne a-go-go (pretty dancers). there are a number of small beer bars, restaurants, and assorted entertainment spots all around this soi. there was no shortage of willing women in this area.

logistically, it takes about 5 or so minutes to walk to 2nd road. baht buses run on soi buakhao (> 2 min. walk), and there were a number of motosi taxis right on the soi. i had no trouble getting around.

there were massage shops (thai, oil, etc,) everywhere. 1-hour oil massage was 200 baht. i had a couple of very good massages during the daytime, but was not offered specials which was ok by me. i'm sure you could find many shops that do.

one measure of a good spot to stay is the feeling you get when you return from being out and about having fun. this little soi honestly felt good to return to. i could see staying here for a week or month with no problem. it's a great place to both relax and play. i would just need to find a swimming pool to cool my jets once in awhile!

i've walked through lk metro many times throughout the years and never seen anything worth talking about as far as chicks are concerned.

most all the girls i've seen there are either ugly, older (21 up), and/or mothers.

all the beer bars/guesthouses are good value but they are loud.

blue disco used to have some lookers, but this place has gone down hill and is soooo overpriced!

the only good things in lk metro imo, are [CodeWord900] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900) and devils inn. that is if you're interested in these specialty outlets.

I've stayed in this area on my visits to Pattaya.

Although there is action in the area, it's on a much smaller scale to Walking Street.

It's also a nice chilled out area in the day with many places to eat.

was looking for hotel " liquid lounge" (some one recomended in the forum)
eager to visit "devils's den"
after huge seraching i find the med in this area needed by the desparate mongers

for food, internet cafe or for others i used to strl this area of my rest time. but for chiks always i failed to find someone from this area for my test. and always i used walking street or other sois as well.

honestly i'm not a huge fan for the "[CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)" serves.me neither. it gets the job done but there's seldom anything really sexy about it. feels like going to a clinic.

like everyone else here, i'm not sure why lk metro gets its own subforum, but it's a great area for just hanging around. and champagne has been excellent lately, way better than the sad old oasis around the corner on buakhaao.

I’m staying in Keerati right now and I do find this soi very convenient as long as I get a room on the back side. Can be too noisy if your room is facing the street. Good 100B breakfast at Billabong, steaks at Golf Club. Had an excellent time three days ago at DD with Bang and Miki.

But as a few others have mentioned, making an own tread is a bit too much. Then we need one for Walking Street, Soi 6 etc.

i recently spent the final week of my 2 month holiday at the lk ren.

just for a change of pace and quite a bit nicer than pattay bay resort.

i enjoyed the lk metro/ soi diana area, although walking that street daily is a bit of a nightmare just for traffic reasons.

the beer bars have a few cuties, but you do have to look, champagne gogo has some nice lookers, although i never did pull any from there. i stopped in oasis one night and the line up did not impress me, but that can change daily too.

as far as [CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)'s, i admit i am a fan. the place is really nice inside, the drinks are reasonable, the a/c is cold, the girls are great. i realize for the same $$ you can get a st on soi 6 or pull a fl from beach road, but then again, these girls are good at what they do and their customer service (imo) is top notch.

i found especially on a long extended trip such as mine, some nights you just wanted to sit back, relax and get a world class bbbj/cim, then eat and pass out.

i'll be staying at the lk renaissance this time to pattaya. a friend likes to live in this area. i never perused the local area, always going to walking street but after reading many reports and having more time, will check out soi 6 which is nearby and also champagne go-go. devil's den and [CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)'s are also in the area.

the kind of monger who seems to be in this area are the older, seasoned ones it seems.

never bothered with the beer bars but hope to sample some along soi 8.

all nearby and easy to walk to at night. in the day it may be too hot.

i will write something up once i am back from the trip.

I've been staying at a small hotel (Pasadena Lodge) on Soi LK Metro for much of the the past week. Nice hotel with friendly staff.

Good times here on the soi...
Happy hour at Champagne a-Go-Go, a relaxed party last night at the Liquid Lounge with free eats, late night cheeseburgers and kababs on the street, cheap gin & tonics at the outdoor bar at LK Metropole Hotel, Thai massage at Eden Massage (200 baht/2hr), friendly ladies at the Soi Diana beer bars, coyotes at Papagayo, etc., etc.

In the daytime there's lots of friendly places to hang out on Soi LK Metro. I've had some good meals at the Billabong.

You won't experience any of the mainstream tourist hub-bub and clatter found up around Walking Street and Beach Road. It's a man's world around here.

If you've never partied at this small corner of Pattaya, check it out sometime.

after reading fon tok’s interesting report, i decided to give soi lk metro another try this evening, so i went first to champagne a-go-go for happy hour … boring … average looking girls … mostly late 20’s and beyond … lots of stretch marks and c section scars to be seen on these mommies … shitty country western music on a loop which repeats itself every ½ hour or so … the place is a mirror image of oasis a-go-go nearby … same ambiance … same layout … same quality of girls … same boredom everytime.

strolled over to look through the large windows into club blu … again there were only older used up girls observed shuffling lazily on their perches … passed on that place … left the office a-go-go unexplored as i was convinced that nothing special would be found there either… liquid lounge looked like a morgue … got a big smile and come-on from a cute little spinner sitting out in front of [CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)’s … that’s still the only worthwhile spot in the area imho… wasn’t in the right mood for her attentions though … came home early.

Funny thing, I never wrote a word about lookers or baby-less, near teenagers at the go-go bar. All I said was the people are friendly. And, it was a special party at the Liquid Lounge the other night ("free food")...fuck me, can you read?

My impressions of Soi LK Metro are based on staying here for the past week (7 nights), and also staying here three other times over the past two months (for 3 nights each time).

Admittedly, though, I am not an Pattaya expert, and I am really not too critical of what I see and do. I leave that for the wily old curmudgeons out there.

Speaking of crusty old dudes, I've seen many a bored looking, burnt out guy this past week. Can't they shower, shave and put on a clean shirt, with sleeves for crissakes? What's the deal here?

I feel sorry for the many young, beautiful women that have to deal with these men on a regular basis. And, I've met some really nice women, just aching to meet a good man (who smells good).

Personally, I just like to have a good time. And, it is very easy to do this in Pattaya.

So, IMHO, it's attitude, just plain attitude that differentiates the positive thinker from a sad sack. Why go out just looking for a mediocre time to prove a point? Think about it, my ISG friends...you [i]can]/i] create your own reality wherever you go. ;)

LK Metro is everything you said it is … and, I think, everything I said it is.

I can assure you that I was sober, alert, freshly showered, clean shaven, well dressed, smiling, and smelling good last night as I always am when out and about in Pattaya. Surely these poor women are safe with me, Fon Tok… I’m not a “burned out” “sad sack” with a “bad attitude.”

You’re right about the stinky “crusty” old knuckle draggers out there though in their sleeveless undershirts and stubbled faces… not pretty. That’s just one more reason why I find the atmosphere somewhat lacking in Soi LK Metro. The area seems to attract these types.

I admire your unfailingly positive attitude and agree that, with it, one can always find a good time in Pattaya. If we ever have the pleasure to meet, I’d like to buy you a drink.

I've stayed at the Pasadena Lodge in LK for my last few visits and will be doing so again next month. Good rooms, lovely service and reasonable prices.

I like it as it is usually quiet after 2am and therefore after the performance from the nights barfine an undisturbed sleep is welcome.

The quality of the go-go's does vary but I usually bring a girl back from WS, I've yet to try the new one, Office in LK.

There are some good Thai places to eat (the best is opposite Liquid) and some good places that do a farang breakfast and it's an easy walk to Dream Teen for a naughty afternoon massage.

I'm thinking I don't need to spend more than 1000 even though I certainly could. I want clean, comfortable, quiet enough to sleep and good wifi.

LK, WS. I mean WTF how am I supposed to know? For some things you just have to have been there or know the area. LK is short for Soi LK Metro, which is a street off of Soi Diana. WS is short for Walking Street.

I narrowed my hotel choices to Pasadena Lodge and LK Metro Apartments. Upon arrival I checked in to Pasadena Lodge. 800 bt for the standard room compared to 1000 for the Superior. The Superior room is smallish and the standard room is small. The the theécor is trendy and pleasant, the place is clean and holding up not too bad for the wear and tear that it gets. The wifi is good. I asked to have my room made up when I went out and 2 hours later it was not done. The explanation was that 'they are not finished yet'.

I'm not happy with the hot water control. After much fiddling I get the temp just right. A minute later it fades to cool. I barely touch it to adjust and nearly scald myself. Every time. There is a digital safe in the room. That's good because the door latch and lock on the room is the kind that can be opened with a thin plastic card. There is no safety lock inside the room either. Tomorrow I'm moving to LK Metro Apartments.

The nightlife is plentiful. I had a truly excellent dinner in the Stag's Head. Drank beer, played pool, barfined a very naughty lady from a beer bar. We stopped in Champagne Agogo on our way to the room. The show at 11 pm (near as I can remember) was very good and those who report tired old washed up dancers need to come see this. A few were just fucking stunning.

Earlier at the beer bar, I remember a point of just sitting back drinking my drink and taking it in. You really do not need to leave this area. It's the low season and it's all in our favor right now so get yourself over here and get back to mongering! I'm going back out there tonight.

I visited a good number of them but can only remember some points about a few. Ninja Agogo clearly caters to Japanese customers but the talent is very bad with very few beautiful ladies. Big disappointment. The office Agogo also the same. Just a few ladies not even worth looking at. Clearly in my eyes, the one with the best talent was Bachelor club Agogo. All the ladies were all natural and young. I visited most of the rest but it all became a big blur after. Here's what happened. The first one I stayed at for a beer was Bachelor Club Agogo bar. The talent was excellent. Most ladies with all natural bodies. I spotted a 20 year cutie and asked the server to go and get her. Then it started again with this ladydrink question. Telling me I must buy her a drink and very rude behaviour. I'm asking myself, who in their right mind would invite a lady over and not buy her a drink? Ridiculous! Eventually she came over and sat with me. She's ordered a coke. We were having a pleasant conversation and I was about to order more drinks and then she got up and left saying she would be back after her dance. She was very cute with natural see cups and a very nice ass and no baby. I was just about to buy some shots and bar fine her. Instead I paid for the 2 drinks and left. All along the side there were other ladies sitting playing their phones. It was like they were only aloud to dance and sit. Very crazy for a bar with such great talent.

Next after looking in the Office and some others, I settled into Paradise Agogo. Saw two all natural A cup spinners and invited one over for a drink. Funny but had the same deal about ladydrinks again. Must be a new trend. We started chatting and all was good. I motioned to the other girl to come over as well. I wanted to buy a bunch of shots for the three of us and see where that would take me. Either a duel lady barfine or choosing one out of the two. However the second girl just looked at me with a black stare. I asked the server to bring her over and there was no answer. Finally talked to the manager and he tried but alas no luck. Who knows what the hell was going on. He gave me a story about her having another customer but there was none to be found. At this point I paid and left. I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me. In Bangkok I normally have no issues with the ladies in the Gogos, very strange. I went into another and sat down forgetting the name but at this point I was already done so after one beer, I left for walking street.

My overall opinion of LK Metro is not good. I'm not sure if any of the bars there are extremely successful. All I know is the vibe is very dull with no atmosphere and very rude staff. Walking Street is much better and more customer friendly in my eyes.

Not enough time for a full detailed report, but I wanted to post something as a thanks to those that responded to PM requests for information, and of course all the information available here for anyone intrepid enough to RTFF before traveling to Pattaya.

I stayed in the Sandy Spring Hotel on Soi 13 alley, in between Beach and 2nd roads. I liked the location, as it was a bit away from the go to areas so was quiet, but easy to walk half a block in either direction to either run down Beach Rd to Walking Street or up 2nd to Soi 6 area or beyond with a 10 THB baht bus ride. Hotel was excellent for me. Great rooms, great staff. They take a lady's ID of course. I coordinated with them to have some gals I made arrangements with to meet me at the hotel so I didn't pull them from their places even; worked out quite well. Nice massage places near the corner of 2nd, I ended up pulling a YL (well, maybe not that young, LOL) from one for LT one night. Recommended location. Walking to the Soi LK Metro area was a matter of 10 minutes stroll; all the babes I pulled were OK walking back to my hotel from there.

So I ended up each evening hanging out in the LK Metro area. It runs out that this location fits my style pretty much perfectly. Inexpensive beers and lady drinks. Super friendly. Lots of beer bars with FL or semi-FL gals, plus go-gos if you are into that (sometimes I'm in the mood), and of course the Devils Den if you want to get nasty. I was totally satisfied with the amount and selections available (although since I am now older than dirt, younger mongers may find the talent to be overripe for their tastes, YMMV). Can confirm barfine of 500-700 for most bar venues. 700-900 for go-gos I stopped in, 1000 for ST, and I paid 2000 for all-nights (my preferred style these days). All in all, I was pretty happy and would recommend both the Sandy Spring hotel and the LK Metro area for visiting punters; Walking Street before midnight just has too many gawking mainstream tourists for my taste. So. I'll be back for sure.
