Well I guess Cancun was never cheap, but those prices, wow. I've been to Plaza 21 probalby dozens of times going back to 99-2001, and would never pay more than 2 bills for a solid 8. Usually, ended up paying 120-150 for an all-nighter plus activities the next day. Oh, and 5 to grease the gaurd on the curb patrol.

I would sometimes pay $50 to the club to take the chica out of there earlier than their shift end, and on those occasions, usually could negotiate anywhere from $80-$150 for the entire night, at my hotel, plus breakfast, lunch, beach, horsing around, and then dropping them off at around mid afternoon (which is when they wake up, anyway). Like most tourist towns in Mexico, prices in tourist zone are absurdly high for ugly chicas with lots of potentials for rip offs. There should be areas in downtown Cancun where locals go for the young, fresh, sexy chicas at much lower rates. This time I would try to find a cabbie who could show me a few places near downtown. You can tell that I love to go native when I travel.

I was on vacation in Cancun in August a few years ago. It was not Spring break but there were still many groups of young girls vacationing. Went to Steak house del Caribe on the North side of Zona Hoteleria for dinner. The interior was painted bright blue and cheaply decorated with lots of tacky plastics and tropical artifacts.
