The R bus stop in front of the Darmstadt station has been moved about 50 metres away to a makeshift stop that is not easily identifiable in front of the Kinopolis (cinema).

I just planned my first trip to Frankfurt. Flying in 4/2 and flying out 4/12.10 days is probably a lot. So a couple of questions (appreciate all the info on here that I already read through):
1) Any hotel recommendations that are convenient to get to Oase and Sharks (going to try to stay at Marriott brands if possible given status). I understand there are some train strikes going on.
2) Do you recommend I find a day or two and take the 8 hour train ride (or fly) to Austria for well cum? Or better to check out Berlin and Artemis?
3) I prefer to do some exploring in the AM and afternoon. I am thinking showing up at FKKs around 4 pm and staying through maybe 8 or 10. How safe is it coming back during late hours?
4) I understand you can use credit card for the entry fees but cash only for the sessions. If I am planning for maybe 2-3 sessions max. I imagine taking $500 will be more than enough?

I can consider to take Airline bus to Damstadt then take VIA train to Frankfurt.Bear in mind that the VIA train's stop is at Darmstadt Nord, a railway stop near Sharks. However the Airliner stops at the main Darmstadt rail station. To get from there to Darmstadt Nord, you will need to take a taxi costing about 14-15 euros, or struggle with your luggage on a city bus. Furthermore the VIA train is not very frequent, normally every 2 hours.
Also, are you sure your stop is really called Hauptwich? Closest name I can think of is Hauptwache, but the U4 does not stop there.

Easy to find. Go to the southern end (not the front nor the western end) of the station, go past the taxi rank, and it is the nearest bus stop in the collection of bus stops there. There is a clear sign saying Airliner. Cost is 10.10 euros. Pay to conductor. Do not try to book a cheaper fare electronically through some apps as it is not applicable to the Airliner. For the cheaper fare, you have to take local buses that take ages, and requires a change of bus.

Thanks.You can also get the X15 bus. If leaves at 12:01 am from the intersection of Otto-Rohm-Straße and Carl-Schenck-Ring (near McDonalds) about a 15 minute walk from Sharks. It's cheaper than the Airliner but also slower, it takes 50 minutes to get to the airport.
If you aren't sure where you are going the Airliner might be a better bet though as it's easier to find.

The X15 bus stop is just across the junction from Contel. I would leave my luggage in Contel, and at the end of my time in Sharks, walk 7 minutes to Contel, pick up my luggage and then catch the X15 bus for the 50-minute ride. Catching the X15 instead of the Airliner makes sense when staying in Contel, as it saves the journey to the Darmstadt Haupbanhof. (I hope Hotel Contel starts allowing reservations on booking platforms again. Currently, it is operational but does not seem to be listed in the platforms.)
However, the Airliner is more comfortable as it is like a tourist coach with padded seats and luggage racks. The X15 is a normal local bus (similar to the R Bus). Therefore, if I am staying in a hotel next to the station, I would rather pay the extra 3 euros to catch the Airliner and save 20 minutes.
Final advice to Pinball. There is massive construction work going on at Frankfurt Airport. The bus will thus deliver you to a makeshift stop. Just follow the crowd to get to the building 20 metres away that connects to the airport. Before the construction started, one could just cross the road to get to the airport.

Side-note for Airliner users. A gap has been opened through the construction area beneath the overhead crossing. So there is no more need to go up to the overhead crossing. Saves a few minutes.

I dont think its the robe use, I think its the endless washing and machine drying thats destroying the fabric. After washing, I rack dry and air dry a lot of my clothes for that exact same reason.

Yeah, the quotes at Sharks continue to be hilarious. Your experience matches mine and is also echoed in the local forums: 100 E /30 is still going rate at Sharks (top optics / good performance), but even that quote is not good enough among an increasing number of girls. You did right to remind everyone of making sure minimum services are provided in the price. Or, you will quickly be asked to pay extra for services like kissing once inside the room. Just hilarious.

I did a physical count at 7 pm yesterday, as that would be when all the girls have arrived.
I counted 57 in the lounge. Since the downstairs rooms are all full, and the upstairs rooms are half full, there should be about 15 girls in the rooms. There were none in the jacuzzi area, and none in the ex-kino. Assuming 5 girls in the changing room, that brings the total to 77. This is not much less than in a normal Monday in Sharks.
But as is the case in Oase, all the 3 girls I went with said that they will be going home this week to be on time for Easter this weekend. They said that they would be back in Sharks one week after Easter.
In summary, from my actual counts in Sharks and Oase that I did yesterday and on Sunday respectively, the Orthodox Easter exodus does not happen until the week before Easter. And the girls return to Germany a week after that.
As for the quality of girls, from my personal point of view, there is no difference between Sharks and Oase. But as Sharks has double the number of girls, the chances that I would find a good one is doubled.

My most recent impression of Sharks from last week is that I think it remains a downhill spiral of generic service. I will say that the optic quality did improve for guys who like slim, Teenie types. Seemed like there was an infusion of fresh 19 and 20 year olds. I wouldn't say service is terrible but Sharks in April 2024 seems to be Sharks 2017 at double the price and same level of service.
It's already changed the hobby for travelers and locals in 2 ways. Volume hobbyists who would do 3, 4, 5 or more half hour rooms per day are no longer doing that. And guys like me who like to search for girls with long room potential by trying several girls for half an hour will find less stars. It takes more for a girl to make me want to spend 100 e in the first place. But since the girls still provide that same basic service for half an hour, it's a catch 22 to find the great providers because it's silly to invest 200 e just to try one for good service. I did decide to commit to an hour with Liz to see if it made a difference and was pretty disappointed. I mean, she was nice but she remained lazy without an upgrade in service quality from her 30 minute room.

For all the 'experts' here who think it's perfectly normal to pay a girl in Sharks (or any other German club) upfront, may I advice you to conduct the following little social experiment when you're bored in between rooms:
*) grab a seat close to the valuables lockers on the sofas or at the front end of the bar, where you can see couples going up / coming down the stairs.
*) observe and count how many men pay a girl and then go up the stairs with the girl (paying upfront).
*) observe and count how many couples come down the stairs and then go to the lockers to receive payment. ( paying afterwards).
After having conducted this social experiment during an entire day at Sharks, I think it will be very difficult to have counted even one guy who pays upfront.
From a financial point of view, in addition to doing no price negotiations before taking a girl to a room, agreeing to pay upfront is probably one of the most stupid thing anyone can do in a brothel and is a recipe for disaster.
