I used to always take down all my public transport routes from the Bahn.de website, save them on a text document and save them in my phone. Used to take ages and was always a pain in the arschen doing it, but I like to have all that shit figured out before a trip.

Now I use the Bahn.de app from the Google play store. (U can get this from iTunes also for iPhones). I then can store my routes on the Google Calendar on my phone. Its so handy when it comes to actually taking the trains / trams / buses to have the info at hand.

1. Download App From Google Play store.

2. Open App And Enter Destination Details. Also enter the actual date and time you are traveling.

3. The App Will Give Various Route Options.

4. Pick A Route and Save in Calendar.

5. Open Google Calendar On Phone and Select A Date with Routes Saved.

6. Click On A Saved Route and Read all Route Details.

BTW I hate printing stuff out on paper, and much prefer reading it on my mobile. I also always bring 2 phones incase one fucks up.

Great info WK on that Bahn app was not aware of it, thanks for that.

Would like to add this info for newcomers about a particular day ticket for the NRW region. It is far more extensive than the VRR regional ticket which only goes so far.

The VRR one is handy if it is given out free at certain hotels but if unable to get that one free and thinking of buying one then I suggest to get the SchönerTagTicket NRW instead which is only about 1 or 2 euros more at 27 euros for a single user.

http://www.bahn.de/regional/view/regionen/nrw/freizeit/schoenertag_ticket.shtml

And its map and where can use the ticket.

http://www.bahn.de/regional/view/mdb/pv/planen_buchen/liniennetzkarten/2012/MDB99132-nrw_regionalverkehrsplan_2012.pdf

The link below is mainly about the VRR tickets and shows its particular map.

Of the previous report on travel tickets, I have been aware of certain small list of hotels in Dusseldorf that issue the VRR regional ticket during a whole stay. Below is a link I discovered today that has more hotels in the NRW region. The ticket is like a big business card which has your name and room number with the hotel's name printed on. A small seal covers the date of your stay. Also has the Rhienbahn logo.

This airport called "Frankfurt-Hahn" (HHN) is over an hour away from Frankfurt, located in the middle of the Bundesland Rheinland-Pfalz. (= Rhineland-Palantine) So you will land practically in the middle of nowhere, but Ryan Air and maybe others offer cheap flights from and to there if you book early enough in advance. There is also a shuttle service from the airport to Frankfurt and Cologne. Rooms for the night are available at the airport and in the neighbouring village "Lautzenhausen".

www.flughafen-hahn.de

I'm not familiar with all that myself, since I go everywhere by car. Maybe SooNice and DV can give more detailed information, since I know that both have used this airport before. And for SooNice it had been convenient to get back to the airport from a Spermagames-event with me, since I live in the area and had an only 15 km detour to drop him off back in February. Anybody who uses this airport to get to a Spermagames- or BareBackKreis-party can get a ride with me, if I should go to the same party.

I have just studied VRR website. It is cheap to buy a Monatskarte if you stay more than 4-5 days. The best is buy ticket2000 9 uhr with price level A1 / A2 card for one zone and cost about 50 euro. It is valid for all zone in vrr after 7 pm. You can buy a zusatz ticket for every ride outside your local zone with 2. 5 or 3. 5 euro before 7 pm. It is good in all zone at any hours for weekend and holiday. If you buy a day ticket for zone C or D, it will cost you 25 euro. From the zone map and some partytreffen location, zone C and D is needed. I assume you go out to club after 9 am and come after 7 pm. Ticket2000 9 uhr cost 50. 70 euro for zone level A2. Zusatz ticket cost 3. 5 per trip for zone D before 7 pm. It is less than 70 euro for 4 day if one club for one day. 4 days ticket will cost over 100 euro for zone see or the. This way, you can stay a cheap hotel anywhere. The monthly ticket2000 9 uhr for zone see 93. 75 (area might be small) and the 114. 25. You can buy monthly ticket for zone see or the if you stay longer.

This airport called "Frankfurt-Hahn" (HHN) is over an hour away from Frankfurt, located in the middle of the Bundesland Rheinland-Pfalz.

www.flughafen-hahn.deFor anybody who travels via Hahn airport, here's some info on shuttle services from and to the airport:

www.hahn-airport.de/default.aspx?menu=by_bus&cc=en

You can see on the map from where you can get to Hahn and back. Even travelling by bus from Luxembourg via Trier to Hahn and from there to Frankfurt, Cologne and Karlsruhe is possible. There are also buslines from Koblenz main train station and from the train stations in Cochem and Bullay (on river Mosel) to Hahn.

Some more detailed bus routes on:

http://orn-online.de/rheinnahebus/view/angebot/hahn_airport/hahn-airportshuttle.shtml

Deriving from this site, bus connections to Mainz, Frankfurt and Cologne main train stations:

http://hahn.orn-online.de/busfahrplan_mainz.htm

http://omnibusse.bohr.de/routes/wtc/routes.php?action=detail&language=de&route_id=16

http://omnibusse.bohr.de/routes/wtc/routes.php?action=detail&route_id=15&language=en

The two omnibusse-bohr adresses can be switched between german and english by mouseclick in the top right corner of the page.

There's also a Hahn-Express bus line from Hahn via Alzey, Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe and Baden-Baden to Baden-Airpark:

www.hahn-express.de

So one could get by bus from Hahn airport to Karlsruhe for a Spermagames party. (With propably having to use a taxi from the busstop to the SG-location.)

One can also rent a car at the airport, naturally there are plenty of rental-cars available.

Or one could go to a party with me, after being picked up by me at the airport or closeby. That is if we are going to the same party!

To check if there is a bus stop near a club or an event. I always check the map below as it has all the H bus stops in it, very handy, the only map I know that does it this way.

http://www.goyellow.de/map/

Click on karte via top right hand corner for a google style map and then tick the box on the left hand side called 'Verkehr' for the H Info signs. Then click on the bus stop to which it pops up the Bahn site for the timetables via the blue links below.

For example it leads to the timetable like below.

http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/bhftafel.exe/dn?evaId=0659302&boardType=dep&time=actual&productsDefault=0000010011&start=yes&dbkanal_004=L01_S01_D001_KPK0008_reiseauskunft_LZ03

Have to make sure all the travel types symbols are ticked especially after clicking 'Ankunft' for a journey in the opposite direction. Click suchen again as the first page can sometimes appear empty.

If anyone knows another map that does the bus stops like this one please report about it here.

From my trip last weekend to from Dusseldorf Weeze to / from Krefeld and Moers by public transportation I just wanted to share my findings / experiences.

From Weeze airport I took the shuttle bus to Weeze trainstation (around 15 min ride) – se link below for all shuttle bus timetables.

http://www.airport-weeze.de/en/arriving_by_bus.html

From Weeze train station I took the train to Krefeld (direction Dusseldorf). There are normally two trains per hour and the ride takes around 40-45 minutes.

Weeze airport to Krefeld: 12, 5 EURO.

In Krefeld a 5 minute walk from the trainstation to City Hotel Krefeld. I paid 55 Euro / night incl breakfast. Within 5-minutes walking distance you have the well-known 'girls-adresses' like Alte Linner strasse, Seidenstrasse, Oppumer Strasse etc.

From Krefeld to Moers I took bus line 052, there are two per hour during working days. I took the bus from Ostwall (main street from central station)

The ride takes 45 Minutes and cost 5 EURO. I jumped off at Augustastrasse – a 5 minute walk to Club La Luna.

From La Luna to Hotel van der Walk, where the shuttle bus to Weeze airport leaves, I took a taxi for 7 Euro.

The shuttle bus cost 15 Euro to the airport. For timetable: http://www.airport-weeze.de/en/arriving_by_bus.html

If any other has tips on how to go to / from different airports by public transportation to wellknown sex venues such as Cleopatra in Gelsenkirchen, the Spermastudio, Spermagames, Spermabank locations or other interesting 'sex locations' please post.

Sharing is caring.

This is very handy and cheap if you are in Hoormany for upto a week, want your unlocked Smartphone connected to the web and don't want to pay roaming charges.

I think there are still many guys who go on trips, and plan to use public transport but don't work out the routes before hand. They arrive in Germany and haven't a clue how to travel to the various clubs. The clubs are often out in the countryside, especially in the NRW area, but its usually possible to get within a few minutes walking distance due to Germany's fantastic public transport setup. Works for me anyway.

I always spend time on this site http://www.reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?ld=9676&country=DEU&rt=1&newrequest=yes&&country=USA And work out all the public transport details before I leave for my trip. Then when I arrive over there I don't have to waste time trying to figure it out. I save it all in my phone, and have it at hand.

There are also bahn.de android and IOS apps.

I've used it for years. Does a good job but not it supports only English and German languages - the screencaps only show German.

Decided to make a map of the hotels that offer a free travel card in Hoormany. These cards can save alot of money on trains and buses plus the hassle of buying tickets. I have found them great over the years.

MAP - https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zF3yQatEul84.kwUXl3l4xeT8.

I took the hotels from this list http://www.hotel-kombiticket.de/Alle_Hotels/alle_hotels.html.

I live in Germany myself so I don't have these dramas and I usually drive to the clubs, sometimes I will stay overnight in nearby hotels if I feel like getting drunk. I can recommend cheap hotels close to a few clubs in NRW and I can also tell you how to park cars for free in various airports, if any of that info is of any use to anyone then please let me know.

Any swingers club in frankfurt region worth visiting? No. Not for single guys. The danger is too great that you pay up to 130 € and don't get laid at all.

The only exception is if there's a party, hosted by an outside-organizer, who only rented the club for a commercial event. So in the Frankfurt region, that would be Spermagames or Sexy-Susi if they are at Swingerclub LoveLounge in Mörfelden or Salma de Nora and others when they are at Traumpalais in Heidesheim.

The next one in Mörfelden in on FEB 4th. You can just walk in, but it's better if you register in advance via the homepage. Be aware that this is a bareback event with mandatory HIV-testing on-site.
