Just returned from 6 nights in Costa Rica. My first trip and had a great time. I've been to The Philippines and Indonesia-- both of which I loved-- and I did not expect that CR would be as good. And while I still prefer Asia-- this was better than expected.

Took a nonstop Delta flight from LAX to San Jose-- while this is a red eye-- this is the best way to get to Costa Rica from Los Angeles-- about a 6 hour flight. Arrived in San Jose about 6:30 Am -- picked up by our driver-- quickly through customs and then had breakfast nearby. Our plan was to first head to Jaco. It takes about 1. 5 hours to get to Jaco from the airport. We decided to check out a crocodile tour along the way-30 and very much worth it.

Also bought a local SIM card for $4 which included about an hour of time. Much better than getting gouged by AT&T.

We arrive at our condo in Jaco about 2:00 PM. We rented a 3 bedroom at the Monaco -- right in the middle town--near lots of restaurants and bars. Price was reasonable at $192/ night for one of the higher units with a view. Very reasonable when split three ways for a large, modern and comfortable unit. Couple of nice pools. Great place to bring the chicas. They charge you $10 when you bring in a chica. Took a nap after that overnight flight-.

Thursday evening--Headed over to Cocal hotel and Casino about 6:00 pm -- this is the place to go in Jaco. When we got there. Probably 50 to 60 chicas in all shapes and sizes, Ticas, Nicas, Dominicanas, and Colombians. I suppose the Colombians are the best looking-- but all had bolt ONS and I found them a bit too hard core for me. Ticas are a close second followed by the Nicas and Dominicanas.

That first night I had two Nicas and then three nights with different Ticas. The looks and bodies of the girls at Cocal were all over the place-- lots of fat chicks -- and some absolutely drop dead gorgeous ones. Ranged from 3's to 9's.

Things really get rolling at Cocal by 8:00 pm at least on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights --there must be 150+ girls at the peak. Lots to choose from. You need to approach the better looking ones-- the less desirable will be all over you. Drinks can be expensive at Cocal so you don't want to get into the habit of buying them drinks before you determine that they might be worthwhile. Like anywhere, determining attitude is key. I don't really like to over negotiate what they will do-- you can usually tell. And I don't negotiate price that much-- if they demand too much, then I just say no thanks and move on. There was this great looking Colombiana-- blonde hair -- banging body--and while her attitude was not that great-- little head was saying lets do this. When it came to dinero, she wanted $150 for one hour. Given the not so great attitude, I would not agree-- so we just parted ways--I doubt if it would have been that good anyway.

On that first night (Thursday) I hooked up with two Nicas. Should have stuck with this one crazy fun chick-- lots of personality-- would rate at a 7 in looks- but was persuaded to take her and her friend. Both were older 30 and 31. Spent a couple of hours back at the condo-- Nicas love to fuck! Everything covered including CBJ. Had a rocking good time with those two. Had agreed upon $80 but Gave each of them $100.

Next day (Friday) did the zip line thing-- worth it even though it seemed expensive at $70. After dinner checked out the Beatle bar-- very close to our condo. It was early-- about 7:00-- but just a handful of fat chicas. We did not return to Beatle. Walked down to Cocal -- Friday night and again things were rockin. Hooked up with a Tica with braces and a great spinner body. Back at the condo-- very mechanical-- she was not into it and we were done in no time, Cost $100-- waste of $$. Even forgot her name.

Next day (Saturday) slept in-- had planned on visiting Manuel Antonio park-- but deferred till the next day. About 3:00 pm. Back to Cocal-- not that many chicas -- maybe 30-- most 6 and below. Started talking with this cute Tica Spent a couple of hours with her at the bar. Really clicked. Smart, pretty face, natural Tatas and smooth hairless skin. A little chubby but not too much. She was from San Jose and called herself Milady. Agreed upon $150 for two hours-- definitely on the high end. We scheduled a date for 8:00 pm --she actually arrived by 9:00 and stayed till 11:30 Absolutely great. Enthusiastic and DTF. Only negatives were the CBJ and LFK. CBJ does seem to be the norm here. I really liked this girl. Got her number as she was heading back home to San Jose the next day--and we were going to be there in a couple of days. BTW she goes to Cocal just about every other weekend.

Sunday-- went to Manuel Antonio-- great place-- although rather crowded on a Sunday. Try to get Miguel as your guide. Lots and lots of walking-- the good guides can spot all sorts of animals with their scopes, sloths, monkeys, raccoons, bats, a variety of birds, etc. Very worth the effort.

Returned to Jaco and headed to the Cocal again that evening. Not as crowded -- maybe 75 to 100 at peak. As I walked around for the umpteenth time, met up with this GND chica who actually lives in JAco. Alicia is first rate-- smart, cute, and nice figure. She has a daughter and is 26. She loves to DFK and is great in the sack. If I was back in Jaco, she would be worth a repeat. Agreed upon $120 for an hour+ She had her own car so not even a need for a taxi back to the condo. Her roommate --Luisa-- hooked up with my buddy and they had a great time. This was our last night in Jaco and we had a great time with these girls.

Three good restaurants in Jaco we ate at-- Kaya, Graffiti and Anuncios. Had breakfast every day at Sunrise-- good and reasonable.

Will post another report from our time in San Jose.

Just got back picking up a couple of college spring breakers from the and. J. Area, who stayed in Jaco for a week. Got to love the young guys who book hotels on their own. They paid in advance with travelosity and split a 2 bed hotel room at the Blue Palm. Man did this bring back memories when when had to put as many guys in a room in Panama City Beach, Florida. Anyways, picked them up at 7:30 this morning and headed back to SJO. I love new guys because they usually shoot straight from the hip, when it comes to detailing their new adventure. A few things I found out are. 1. Never stay at the Blue Palms. (I already knew this but the guys had pre-paid) $20 chica fee. 2. No secret that Cocal is like the Del Rey on steriods. They said on Thursday night, there must have been 200 ladies there and maybe 30 guys. Standing room only. 3. It's a buyers market in Jaco as well. They never paid more than $60 at the Cocal. Friday night was awesome as well. They arrived last Saturday night and the Cocal was off the chain then as well. 4. The new Kokomo's Sports Bar and Grill has Margarita's for $1 from 4-7 pm Monday. Friday. Only a few bucks and these young gents were lit. 5. Centerfolds is now open and these 2 young guys received the VIP treatment on opening night for free. So did all the other guest. Free booze to boot. 6. The 4 hour ATV tour was awesome. Went to the waterfall, took a dip and had a great fresh Talapia lunch. I've never had anyone to claim otherwise. And finally 7. Manuel Antonio is worth seeing, however the monkeys are mean. I've experienced that one myself.

I recommended that they NOT tell their friends and college classmates about their experience. It will ruin it for the rest of us old geezers. Can you imagine what might happen to Jaco, during the month of March, if all these young men figure out, there is other places to go besides Florida? I mean you can get good airfares from the and. E. , ($360 Southwest are. T.) moderately price rooms and smoking hot women that you can actually rent by the hour for $60? It's no wonder they are already planning their next spring break trip, minus the Blue Palms.

Room at the Cocal is available this Friday and Saturday night.

I had one of my clients who has had to reschedule his trip to Costa Rica for a month, so his room at the Cocal is available this Friday and Saturday night 4/10 & 4/11. I hate to cancel the reservation because I know how hard it is to get a room there on the weekend. It's a parking lot room (I think it's the best value) $275.16 total, taxes included. O. L. The. VIP members get a $37.17 discount for a total of $237.99. Pm Me if interested, let me know ASAP. I will cancel the reservation on Tuesday if nobody wants the room. Thanks.

Anybody know anything about the Oceano Hotel in Jaco? Apparently it's relatively new and located in a good spot. Chica friendly?

I've taken the bus from San Jose to Jaco, cost was 2,445 colons, about $4. 65. The bus leaves downtown San Jose from the Coca Cola Bus Station. It took a little over 2 hours. Here is a link with information & a schedule. http://surfinjaco.com/costa-rica-bus-schedules/.

Every monger I know whos paid a freelancer up front has gotten burned at least once and most of them got burned in the CR.

ChrisIt was my experience that in Jaco, almost all of them wanted to paid first, but when push came to shove they would wait until after. The girls from HDR in San jose have adopted this practice as well. I tell them before we even go to the hotel that I am not paying up front. Paying before rarely works out well.

Just got back from Croc's Casino Resort yesterday and I tackled the question about the facility being chica friendly of not. After speaking at length with the Casino manager, he let me know that yes, Croc's is chica friendly and has loosened it's policy from the first month. He went on to say, who is he to say if you can or can not bring a guest in. She might be your niece, who knows? As long as you bring a guest in who is dressed nicely, they have no problem with you letting you bring her up to your room. He did say there would never be a bunch of girls, hanging out by the poo, soliciting business. This is understandable. So ho ahead and bring you lady in, have a few spins on the wheel, have a drink or two at one of their bars and try the $8 burger. Best in Jaco. Make sure you get the El Zarpe menu. You can dine in or out. Have fun.

So after ending a 4 year relationship a couple weeks ago, I decided to plan a trip with two of my boys to Costa Rica after a 4. 5 year hiatus. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm single again, but I think Jaco has actually gotten better. Stayed at the Hotel Poseidon which is centrally located one block over from Hotel Cocal and definitely chica friendly. I believe they charge $10 to bring a guest back. The rooms are clean with good AC and the beds are comfortable and can definitely support a threesome. LOL. I can also confirm that Croc's the new resort hotel is now chica friendly. They seem to be struggling for business so they made a very smart change. Croc's is a very nice hotel with a great pool and the most legit casino in Jaco offering Las Vegas games including craps. I've heard the rooms are very nice as well.

Now on to the chica scence. Things have changed a lot since my last visit to Jaco. Hotel Cocal is now ground zero for chicas. There are girls out at the bar as early as noon. It really starts to get going around 6 pm and by 8 there's girls everywhere. There's girls of every size and shape. The quality on Thursday-Saturday was on par if not better than what I remember from the Del Rey. I was at the Del Rey last night, Wednesday and I wasn't overly impressed. I'd say maybe I was sexed out by the time I got to San Jose, but still managed to pull a threesome with 2 ticas who's name's I didn't get and another session with a Tica named Mariana. She is dark haired with big the tits. I was sitting at the restaurant across from the Del Rey after my threesome having some dinner at the bar and she came up and started chatting me up. She wasn't pushy and I still had 2 hours to kill before leaving for my trip to the airport so we agreed to some fun time. There was no discussion of money which to me personally I like. I like to pay based on performance. It was the most GFE experience of the whole trip. Lots of mutual touching and BBBJ. After my first pop she gave me a great massage for about 20 minutes then we went at it again. Overall she was at my hotel for almost 2 hours. I gave her $190 US which was all the cash I had left on me. I know I got off Jaco for a bit so back to that.

The Jaco scene consists of Cocal which stays busy till midnight at which point they shut the music off and it clears out. Then depending on the night the first spot that the girls show up at is Orange Bar. It's a nightclub that gets going around midnight till 2:30 am. Sometimes it gets a little confusing as there is a mixture of non workers, vacationers, and working girls. They have bottle service and compared to NYC where I live, it's very reasonable. $150 for a bottle of Absolut. You will definitely see a lot of girls move from Cocal to Orange keeping the night going. On Monday night instead of Orange Bar, the after Cocal scene is at Monkey Bar. Beatles Bar is definitely a thing of the past. No one goes there anymore. At 2:30 am when Orange Bar closes, the scene moves to LE Loft, another club where you will find a mixture of bar and restaurant employees, working girls and vacationers. We tend to party hard so we made it to LE Loft 3 nights and it was always busy with working girls trying to close out the night and make some money.

Overall I took home 8 girls in my 6 days in Jaco. I tend to like the smaller ones. The most memorable ones were a tica named Vanessa maybe 5'2. Took her home from Cocal while the sun was still up. Great performance with a BBBJ. I was about 50/50 with BBBJ's on the trip. Most want extra money for it and I have no problem with that. $100 is definitely the going rate in Jaco. As I said earlier, I pay extra and usually get better performances. If when they get back to the room they want the money right away, I still give it to them, but usually the $100 is where it stops.

One thing that I'm finally starting to understand is that there really are part time working girls. We met three girls from San Jose that were by CR standards middle class at Orange on Sunday night. By middle class I mean they own their cars and have full time jobs at home. But even those girls will still have sex for money. I took one of them home on Sunday night. The other girls went home with my two friends. I had drank a lot that night and was having trouble busting even though the girl who's name is Erica is a smokeshow. I got a knock on the door and her friend who was with my friend just walks right in and jumps on the bed and starts going at it with us. Needless to say I finished pretty quick after that. LOL. We spent the next day at my friend's condo with these 3 girls at the pool and had a BBQ. I'm a sucker for a GFE and I tend to over spend which I will happily admit. They were with us for about 10 hours that day. I banged Erica 2 more times that day with the full GFE. I gave her $400 for the day. Most of you will say that's crazy but that's how I roll. We never discussed money at any point during the day. It was my choice and it made her very happy. These girls work regular jobs during the week and then come to Jaco to party on the weekends. They don't go to Cocal cause I guess they don't want to be seen in a hooker bar but they are always willing to take money for sex. Kind of hard to get my head around but I guess that's Costa Rica.

This report is a little long and rambling, but I felt like I had to give back to the forum after a 4 year break. Message me if you're headed to Jaco and have any questions. By far this was my best of my 7 times in CR. Can't wait to get back. Pura Vida!

Guys,

Trip on the week of June 22nd. Seems like Jaco beach is the place to be but I was told that beaches are meant for surfing and was recommended to stay at Manuel Antonio for better beaches and restaurant. Can anyone tell me if this is a smart move? Aside from the club / bar nightlife, we're looking to do some fishing, snorkeling and maybe ATV tour. Also, we're thinking about renting a nice place instead of doing the hotel thing. Is this safe to bring chicas home? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Informative, reliable and friendly. The 3 of us enjoyed ourselves in San Jose and Jaco beyond description.

Its been a number of years since I was in Jaco.

Just wondering as it was mentioned by a previous poster that Beatle Bar is open but dead.

No one goes there.

Did the girls just move elsewhere or was there a change of policy there regarding working girls.

Just curious if anyone knows what happened. That used to be the hot place morning noon and night.

I wouldn't say the Beatle Bar is dead, just not the same as it was a few years ago. Jack, the original owner to the establishment back over, tore down the walls and made it open air again, without a cover charge. He has since added the Cavern strip bar in the back. It has now become more of a local dive with 1,000 colones domestic beers, good food and a few girls from to time. As you have probably read, the Hotel Cocal & Casino is now the hot spot with 100-200 girls around the pool area on Thursday. Saturday nights.

I've read a LOT of positive reviews on Hotel Cocal. Tried booking a package through Expedia, Orbitz, and FunJet, but none of them partner with Hotel Cocal. I saw a few other nice resorts, but not sure how chica-friendly they are. The ones that caught my eye are Jaco Laguna Resort, Crocs, and LOS Sueños. Obviously don't want to stay at one that isn't chica-friendly.

It appears from this forum that most of the women hang out at Hotel Cocal. Are there any nice hotels very close to Hotel Cocal that I could walk from or taxi from at night to enjoy the festivities? First visit to CR, and am very fired up. Coming down July 16th through the 22nd.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, and muchisimas gracias a todos!

O. L. D. One Lucky Dogg. Thanks for the info OLD. I appreciate it. Seems that all the talk is about Hotel Cocal. I can't seem to get any booking information. When you go to their website, it just fails when I enter my contact info and input the coded image. I can see missing it once or twice, but five times in a row? Seems too hard to get a rate and actually reserve a room.

Knowing what you know, if you were a rookie (un novato) travelling for the first time, what hotel would you stay at keeping in mind I prefer one that is very chica friendly. I hope I'm using this term right, since I'm new to this, but I want to do a lot of "mongering".

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info OLD.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.Hey, that's why a lot of the guys use me to book their rooms at the Cocal and other places. It won't cost you any more money and might even save you a few bucks and a lot of aggravation. I have taken clients to Jaco, they get to the Cocal and other establishments, only to find out they do not have a reservation. Happened just the other day. I have direct contact, email and cell phone numbers of my partner companies. I can even get the rooms cheaper than you can get them. If it was me and I was traveling alone, I would still book the Cocal. 2nd choice would be the Poseidon. If I was with 2 or more guys, I would book a luxury condo at the Monaco Jaco or Vista Mar. It's bigger, nicer and cheaper per person than the Cocal. If money was not an object, I would stay at Croc's Casino Resort. Have fun on your trip.

Can't wait for my trip next week. I'm staying at Monaco Jaco Condos. Any suggestions as to where to eat?LOS Amigo's for bar food. The Taco bar for the best fish Tacos. Tsunami Sushi for the best sushi in Costa Rica. For excellent fall off the bone ribs, give Kokomo's a try. For the freshest seafood, the soda at Cope Tarcoles on your way down to Jaco. I often treat my clients to a $11 Lobster lunch.

I'm thinking of going to Jaco for labor day. Does anyone have a paid subscription to Costa Rica Ticas? Is it worth it? I'd like to see more photos of what I'd be getting myself into in Jaco (as far as Ticas goes) and there just isn't a lot on here, especially for photos of girls.

There are not many if any pictures of Jaco girls on * There is information that is interesting but you can go there and meet one or two guys and find out all you need to know about Jaco. It is small and has few secrets. There is no daytime action and no massage places. If you surf or fish it is great. Really, go to Medellin where the girls are much prettier and much much much cheaper. I haven't visited both-I lived in both.

I was with Geraldine back in the day and that was the wildest PSE ever, and completely authentic, that girl is insane. I'd definitely go straight back there except I do love to surf and I'm landlocked.

The girls in Costa Rica can sometimes (no often) be arrogant. The girls in Colombia can be oh so very sweet. I am not kidding. The girls in the Medellin casas will have you believing you are with a girlfriend and not with someone trying to gouge money from you. And then get their private numbers and be really nice to them (as in gentleman) and they will really be sweet to you. There isn't the slightest comparison. And then in Colombia you can jump into a cab for next to nothing. Try a cab in San Jose and you will not feel like you are in Latin America.

(Remember-the dollar has rallied in the past 2 years. The Colombian Peso went from 1750 to 2650 to the dollar. The CR Colon has done almost nothing!(CR is awash in drug dollars. Too many dollars and the conversion just doesn't budge).

Man do I miss Medellin.

Man do I miss Medellin. When Geraldine wasn't trying to get me to put in her butt after she had already fucked my brains out 2 times already, I was hanging with Paisas who were 9 or 10's in looks and acted like loving, doting, sweet, innocent high school girlfriends. I already have reduced expectations for Costa Rica, but how do they compare in looks and can I get closer to a Paisa experience if I'm willing to pay for it?

Well, I lived in both San José and Medellín and I prefer San José. It is definitely more expensive, though. I like the food, the weather, and the people better in San José, and there is less silicone. The weather is good in Medellín, don't get me wrong, but I like a drier climate. I find the ticas more honest and less complicated than the paisas. Medellín is also much more dangerous.

I stopped in there in a hurry and forgot to specify generic. I found them to be expensive. Tried a Levitra at full price. Make sure you specify generic or "hen-air-eecoh" in Spanish and you might do better. Here's an obligatory pussy pic from one of my Cocal kills last January. Enjoy!

As for the girls in the casas being better than the girls in Jaco. I guess they are much cheaper. But the girls in the casas mostly made me feel like I was at the NFL combine. Oh of course there were a few gems and you had to wait.

The whole thing about the Cocal is that now most the the day there are girls there. You have your choice whenever you want. The choice gets greater as the day goes on. Several of them are as attractive as any I have seen anywhere else. The service is usually as good as anywhere else. Plus most of the guys are gringos like me who I can relate to. This type of place is a necessity for any trip I take. There is no place like it in MDE. I never want to take a trip abroad and have to call a girl I have never seen before. I can do that in the US. The greatest enjoyment of these trips is seeing the girls on site. That enjoyment is worth the cost.

I have lived here for 10 years now and have been doing this tourism thing for 3 now. I have seen a big shift in the last 3 years to the coast of Costa Rica / Jaco Beach. Now about 60% of my guys are going there. No doubt the women are the hottest at the Cocal and Jaco, however the weather is much better in San Jose. Costa Rica has something for everyone It's like a big futurity down here.

I know this is late as I was just freed up to go Sept 4 for 4-5 nights. I know it's Labor Day weekend.

1. Assuming Cocal is full, any other recommendations for nearby girl friendly hotels from which a Cocal girl wouldn't mind walking, taking a taxi, etc. I don't mind paying up to $150 a night or so as long as it's close. $100 would be better.

2. If I arrive that Friday around 10-12 AM, is it best to go to Jaco right from the airport and what is the best way (I don't mind paying a reasonable amount. No cheap bus etc.

3. I'm thinking Friday and Sat night in Jaco (seeing Cocal) and then the final three back at SL or Amistad.

Any ideas for how I might accomplish this that makes semester to the pros on the forum? Thanks again!,

If my idea of two nights in Jaco is too ambitious, let me know! I've been to CR before three times so know Gringo Gulch and can prob make do there but never been to Jaco or the Cocal. Would like to take a couple from there.

Had lots of fun during my one night in Jaco. Stayed at Crocs for a meeting, but got to Cocal by 8:30 pm. Lots of ladies there, but it really got going about 9:30, with at least a 10:1 girl / guy ratio as far as I could tell. Lots of 8's and 9's of my type (which is young, slim and natural), but my experience is that those girls have poorer service and price. I connected with a Nica, Carina, who was a 7 and slightly older, she said 25 but who knows. She was friendly, natural and slim, which hit all my criteria, so I pulled her from Cocal to Crocs where I was staying.

She was lots of fun. We negotiated kissing, BBBJ (but "don't telll anyone") and at least 2 pops (although I am only usually good for one, these days). She started at $100 but went VERY quickly down to $80, which I gather is the going rate.

In the room, she was great. Not quite DFK, but certainly good LFK, and the BBBJ was terrific. She did everything I asked, including multiple positions, and finally finished with a really good sensual HJ (since I don't like condoms).

Good English, lots of fun, outgoing, and good body (A / be natural tits, good ass, slim), with good service, so I really enjoyed my 18 hours in Jaco.

Next time I will avail myself of services from One Lucky Dogg, and go after the 8's and 9's at Cocal.

Had a great time despite only speaking English. Cocal is definitely like a candy store for guys. Just wished I had more time to sample the (many) great-looking girls.

Nice report Rac, we need more guys like you to report from Jaco. She sounds like a Nica I pulled from Cocal last January. Could she be the same one? Anyway, here's a pic of her box post pound out. Look familiar?

Crocs has no problem bring company back? (I heard different)? If you search on Crocs, you'll see that it's identified as girl-friendly, especially by One Lucky Dogg, the very credible source of info here. I took her in through the (uncrowded) casino, to the elevators, without seeing any security (only at the front of the casino, and they didn't even glance at us coming out of the taxi.

But the room at Crocs was horrible. I had a junior suite, and they have a problem with no dehumidifier in the air conditioning. There was condensation everywhere. Literally a quarter inch on the floor, and seeping down the walls. Had to call housekeeping to mop the floors several times. Anything in the room got damp. If they don't fix it, that new hotel will be full of mildew in a few months.

I just got back from my second trip to Jaco, last time I was there it was May of 2014. I have to say I liked it better the second time. Things are alive and kicking in Jaco with the action centering at the Cocal Hotel and Casino. We got in early Wednesday morning into Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, Costa Rica. We had a shuttle driver waiting for us whom we hired and it cost us $100 which we split 4 ways to drive from the airport to Jaco. The ride is a short hour and forty five minutes, and is very pleasant. The weather was phenomenal at this time of the year and although it is in the Green Season which is the rainy season, we found it would rain only about 30 minutes to 1 hour max in the afternoon, then it would clear up at night. I strongly recommend mainly bringing cool clothing such as shorts, nice t shirts, or short sleeve polos. One can also wear jeans with a short sleeve short. It is very casual dress though in Jaco.

We rented our condo through Day Star Rentals and they set up with a gorgeous Modern condo at a building called Diamante Del Sol. 2 of us stayed there and 2 of my friends stayed at the Copacabana Hotel which they said was mediocre. The Cocal has limited rooms so it can be sold out if you wait. Crocs has nice rooms but is at the very end of the main strip so it can be quite inconvenient. I really believe the best value is to rent a condo if you are with at least 1 other guy (get a 2 bedroom) or 2 guys (get 3 bedroom). Condos can be found on many websites such as VRBO, Homeaway, Flipkey, AirBNB, daystarentals.com, jacomonaco.com. There are also condos right in back of the Cocal hotel called Vista Mar condos that can be arranged by calling the Cocal Hotel through their toll free number, just google it.

Activities and Sightseeing- During the day, there are many activities and tours in Jaco. You only need to walk on the main strip which is Avenida Pastor Diaz and you will run into many places that offer tours. You can also go online. There are ATV tours, zip line tours, fishing excursions if you want, and many other types of tours. We did an ATV tour that was $75 for 3 hours and took you up to the mountains, and then back. You get to stop at a waterfall, and jump in which was cool. Highly recommend this and the zip line tour which I did last trip. The beach in Jaco is somewhat disappointing as there is mainly gravel and rocks instead of pure sand. Also, the water is rough so its not really a beach going destination other than for surfing.

The strip (Avenida Pastor Diaz) has many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, souvenir shops, and just about anything you need can be found here.

Currency and Banks- we found all businesses including the girls (ha) will take dollars or Colones but you usually lose about 5 percent by paying in dollars unless you exchange your dollars for Colones at the Bank of Costa Rica in Jaco. There are a few places to exchange money but the rates are nowhere as good as the banks. The current rate was about 528 colones for 1 us dollar.

Restaurants- for lunch try Taco Bar, for breakfast The Green Room, or Poseidon Hotel were good. For dinner the Cocal has great food as well as Lemon Zest and Graffiti but they are more sit down style and slightly more expensive. For Sushi, Tsunami Sushi was good with large portions and reasonable prices as sushi is never cheap.

Venues- In my opinion, the only real good place in Jaco and the heart of the action is at the Cocal Hotel. As other reports have said, the quality of women here is off the charts. There are plenty of beautiful girls to be found, and some average ones. The majority of the girls are from Costa Rica (at least 50 to 60 percent, the rest of the girls a mix from Nicaragua, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. There are girls of all shapes and sizes but most are professional girls that really try hard to look good. The most amount of girls there will ever be at one time there at peak is about 80 to 100 as the bar area and casino are not big. The cost of girls was never less than $100 paid by all of us which is generally for short time or about 1 to 2 hours or 1 pop. Some girls will try to quote you $150 but just tell them that your friends all paid $100 and they will drop their price quickly. Also, you can just negotiate and tell them the most you will pay is $100 and they will go, if not just walk as there are a few greedy ones. All night long here is not recommended unless you are willing to fork out at least $300 to $400 as the girls know they can get at least 2 clients per night and are used to leaving early. So, unlike Thailand, Philippines, or even Sosua, don't expect TLN or All Night Long. The women are very nice though and will treat you like a king for the time you are with them and niceness goes a long way with them. CBJ and covered sex are the norm but you can find some that may do uncovered BJ.d But again, the quality of the girls is bar none the best I have seen anywhere in Latin America so this offsets the more business like, non GFE experience. We all had good performers for the most part except for a couple of mediocre experiences here and there. Crocs had no action in the casino, and it was dead on Saturday night for their Halloween party. Jaco Blu was only okay on Wednesday night but not until around after midnight LE Loft can be decent after things clear out at Cocal, but I do not recommend waiting to pull from there. Try to get a girl from Cocal or you could go home empty handed. The action at Cocal starts getting good around 9 pm and finishes around 1 am, but there are always a few girls in the early afternoon looking for a an afternoon quickie. The Monkey Bar closed we were told recently as there was a shooting outside the club and they were having other issues. The Beatle Bar had no action and is more of a drinking bar for a few locals and expat guys.

We went to San Jose on Sunday night, and it was terrible. The girls were older, less attractive, and San Jose is a dump in my opinion. Will definitely hit Jaco again in the future.

Just got back was my 2nd trio to Jaco as well, was there first weekend in October 2014, I only stayed Thursday and Friday before heading to San Jose smh. But I stayed at the vista Mar. Awesome condos, Thursday kinda of a chill day since spend half the day in the airport and driving to Jaco. Cocal had its usual eye candy but I ended up with a girl last year after I went to the loft. Wasn't in there more than 10 minutes but seemed nice LOL.

Friday did a Atv tour which was also awesome, after that grabbed a bite to eat before heading to the cocal left with something after that closed no orange or loft reviews but Jaco / cocal is still alive and well wish I would of did Halloween in Jaco rather than going to the del Rey.

Looking into my next trip I've done two low season trip want to do a high season trip any recommend times?

Rainfall is virtually nonexistent and it is their summer. As others have mentioned in the San Jose, CR threads avoid Christmas and New Year week, and Easter week as the majority of girls will spend time with their families.

I am planning a trip to Jaco Beach during last week of December. Wanted to book a room at Cocal hotel. Multiple attempts to send them reservation request form with my email and dates information resulted in no reply. Finally I called them directly and the lady took my information and gave me a confirmation number for my booking for the dates I wanted. Requested her multiple times to email me this confirmation. Still didn't receive it. What surprised me most that she didn't ask for any payment information and still gave me the confirmation number. When asked about the payment she said I can pay when I check in. So I am confused. Is there any forum member who stayed in this hotel can advice me whether my confirmation would be valid when I arrive. Is this a normal way of booking in this hotel? I just don't trust the confirmation number as she didn't ask for any payment. Please advice how to resolve this to get a true confirmation for my booking. They absolutely don't respond by email. Phone is the only way.

Thanks.

Thanks.I couldn't get them to respond on line either. During the last week in December 2014, I simply walked in with cash in my hand and got a room. I did it one other time too during 2015. Maybe not the preferred way, but it worked both times for me.

Just got done booking my stay in Jaco.

Dec 2 at Sportsman.

Dec 3 - 8 at Monaco in Jaco.

Dec 9-11 at Sportsman but trying to change to La Amistad.

I worked my booking for the stay, using alot of the information I gathered from this board.

Considering all my options, I worked booking.com to check hotels, then I went to the top 10 list from here at visited each of their websites.

I then went to VBRO and did a search and started working the list.

A lot of great deals to be had and once I saw the pricing vs a hotel, it was way too easy.

I narrowed down to five properties and at the time I started, I had a wing man coming with me, so 2 bedroom condos were the search.

I worked it for a week and then my wingman broke a wing and can't make it.

Now I am a single and do another search for 1 bedrooms. Almost none but did find a gem for $95 a night, one block from Beetle bar.

That booked while I was negotiating and then she offered another unit for $125 a night.

I worked the other properties and told my story of losing my partner and asked if they had any other properties.

In less than three hours today, I ended up in a 3 bedroom condo at the Monaco for $119 a night + tax.

Very generous of them and hey, it was going to be empty anyway.

I ended up in a brand new luxury condo with a 60" plasma on the wall and a shower 6 people could have dinner in.

All you got to do is work it a little, maybe get a little lucky and be ready to pounce when opportunity knocks.

I'm in Jaco right now. Arrived Friday night and checked out the Cocal poolside bar. At 9 pm it was totally packed with a 4-1 girl guy ratio. Unfortunately I found the hookers there to be overly aggressive, strictly business, a little older than I prefer, and too much huge boobs and huge ass. Hardly any spinners. I turned down every girl that came up to talk to me (lots). Saturday around 5 pm there were a few girls working but not many. Saturday night it was packed again and I did see a couple I was interested in but the sharky vibe of the whole place turned me off. I discovered that many girls will offer to take you to their place if you don't have a room to take them to. I got a few threesome offers. Left alone again Saturday night. Sunday (today) I was going to leave but I missed the bus so decided to stay another night. I rented a bike and rode around and noticed some hot girls around town were smiling at me when I looked at them. Maybe semi-pros not working at Cocal? If I had another day here I would explore that option, meeting girls around town that aren't hardened professionals at Cocal but wouldn't mind some extra cash for a date.

I will head over to Cocal tonight again, but I doubt I will take a chica out. I'm really super picky about who I will go with for $100, because I live 20 minutes from Tijuana and I have a reliable rotation of hotties there. There is also a strip club called Centerfolds 1 or 2 blocks south of Cocal, but I am dreading going in there because I have a feeling it will be a total ripoff joint.

Got a ocean view room (right behind the bar) for 2 nights and last night a parking lot room. Ocean view room is nice during the day. Beautiful view out the rear window. During the night it is loud as hell and difficult to sleep. I tried to move after 1 night but they had nothing. Last night I moved to a parking lot 2nd level room which was much better and I could actually sleep. No complaints on the girl situation. There were lots of girls at night on Thurs, Friday and Sat. I am pretty picky so the large majority of the girls I was not interested in. I usually wait till I see one that makes me go "Oh My God! I found 4 total. One girl I noticed on the first day set me off. I approached her and soon realized I had seen her 3 years before. A Panamanian. She remembered too and off we went to the room. Nice girl who knows what she is doing but a little too rehearsed performance for my tastes. We talked for 3 hours afterwards and she wanted to spend more time together. Off to dinner that night. A walk on the beach and a little shopping for food the next day. She acted like I was a boyfriend. A little too clingy as I was seeing a few beauties around the pool bar. I did manage to snag 3 other girls while I was at the Cocal.

One tall voluptuous blond who gave a very nice performance. A very cute 22 year old Costa Rican with a very fit body. And another 21 yr old Costa Rican who was the best of the bunch. Total girlfriend, kissing, BBBJ, passionate performance. So loud that I knew the guys in the next room or anybody walking by the room heard that session. Cocal is nice in that you can just relax at the pool or beach all day talking to the guys and soaking up the rays and then the girls come right to you. Really not much of a reason to leave the place unless you want to do some tours. The place is well run, food was good, no complaints. There are girls of every shape and size in the night. It would be hard to imagine not finding something that you like here. Saturday night I saw a stunner at the bar talking to 2 guys. I just happened to be with my first girl having dinner at the bar. I knew we were going to be together the rest of the night as she was acting like we were on a date. I was dying to get my hands on the stunner, but it was not going to happen. I saw 2 or 3 others that I would have gladly taken, and like I said I usually just hold out for the best of the best. Make a reservation at the hotel early. Try to get a parking lot room as they are much quieter and 20 to 25 dollars cheaper. This was my 20th time to Costa Rica. First time was in 1995. Costa Rica is no longer cheap. It's well on it's way to becoming an expensive destination. Go soon before the $100 girls start charge $200 or more. I've been 20 times and all 20 trips have been good. Never had one serious problem in all those trips. And now that gas prices are down my flight from Nashville was only $360 on American. Hard to beat.

If they don't bite they know a person will be arriving. If you arrive and they sold your room for double / triple. They just tell you. I'm sorry. Been there. Especially during Holliday time.

Thanks dudes.I have been to Jaco several times, and all girls are between $80 to $120 , with $100 usually being the default price. This is of course, short time, usually a couple of hours. Do not pay more than this, even the prettiest girls will take this.

No! Previous poster was correct. If any ask for that price just walk. I had this quite decent Nica box for $80, offer immediately accepted. Paid another $20 tip after owing to the fairly common side effect of RE (retarded ejaculation) that some of us on V have, and that placed a serious, yet unharmful, effect on her box. She even spoke decent English. Most Nicas don't hablan. Go figure? Pic below is the immediate post coital DDA (dick damage assessment.).

CASH Cash Cash.I know of some guys who used to do this, about 10 years ago before the girls in CR became so hardcore; lotions, perfume, gifts for their kids. First off, TSA won't allow the liquid items and the girls nowadays would just roll their eyes. Lately it's hard to get them out of the room without being besieged with requests for cab fare and / or a tip. Save your money!

Many of the girls there live in the city or elsewhere and travel to Jaco on the weekends to work, so chances are you can find a girl willing to take you back to her hotel. I was offered this once but declined as my hotel was nearby.

Alternatively, you can hit the strip club right in front of Cocal called "Gentlemans Club" as you can have sex in the VIP. Published rate is $390 but I ended up going for $200 and they were quick to bargain down. Of course I got screwed for a $500 drink tab, so still ended up paying in the end. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place, but if your desperate, it's an option.

We stayed at Monaco last year--loved it. Well located and reasonably priced. We had a three bedroom unit. No problem bringing girls back--although there was a modest charge--don't remember how much. Only place worth going to for chicas in Jaco is Cocal. Hve fun. Can't wait to go back.

Hey guys,

I'm considering going to Jaco for a week in June with a buddy. I've never been to Costa Rica so I was wondering how Jaco compares to Panama City.

Is one week too long to stay in Jaco? Should we spend the week in San Jose and go to Jaco only for the weekend?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to decide if we should try something new or go back to Panama where we had a blast.

I'm will be making my first trip to Jaco Beach next month. I have several questions so I can finialize my trip. I arrive in San Jose airport at 11:36. What is a shuttle bus company that has buses that leave after this arrival time? How much should it cost me?

I want to stay an air-conditioned girl friendly hotel for around $70 a night if that is possible. Please suggest some hotels within walking distance of the action? Are their some hotels that are not girl friendly that I should definitely avoid?

Thank you for you help.

2 of us stayed there and 2 of my friends stayed at the Copacabana Hotel which they said was mediocre..

Thank you for you help. You didn't advise if this was am or pm arrival. Interbus would take you if it is an am arrival. It may get a little more expensive to get there at night. You should be able to get there for about a hundred dollars. Check One Lucky Dog. Try Hotel Mango Mar, It is next to the Cocal and chica friendly, Hotel Poseiden, and Hotel 9. They may be close to that price range.

It is considerably cooler in San Jose than in Panama. The scene is well known both in San Jose and Jaco and easy to get from hotels to venues. Panama has women from Panama, Colombia and Venezuela. Costa Rica has Ticas, Nicas, Dominicanas, Colombianas and a few from other countries. The women can be from fair skinned to dark complexion. Many speak English. I would split the time between San Jose and Jaco with Thursday through Sunday in Jaco. There are plenty of other activities available depending on your desires to see the country for regular tourism.

Sorry for the short review, but I didn't get a chance to write it until a few weeks after I returned.

Jaco Review,

I was back in CR for my 3rd trip earlier this month. I was debating on going to Jaco or SJ or Both and ended up staying in Jaco for my whole trip.

I stayed at Crocs for the whole trip which was a really nice experience. They had a great deal going on which was one of the main reasons I chose to stay in Jaco for the whole 5 days.

The Cocal was lively as ever, especially on Thurs, Fri. , Saturday nights. The action starts around 6 pm and really picks up around 9. The chica quality is through the roof, it seemed like some of the girls walked over from finishing up a sports illustrated photo shoot. There were plenty of GND types as well which is really what I'm more interested in. The pricing was kind of shitty this trip. Every chica was starting at $150 and a lot of them wouldn't budge from that price. I also noticed a new trend of older mamas walking around a pair of super cute, young chicas and introducing them to guys. I'm not sure if they are getting some kind of kickback, or what but its kinds of strange but also a good way to make sure you get what you want because the older ones seemed to speak better English and I could tell the younger one what I wanted.

I found plenty of amazing chicas on this trip. I'm not going to describe them all but take my word, fun times were had. One interesting find that I'll mention was my second or third night, there was this young tica that was just all smiles and eyes in my direction while she was talking to another monger. I'm not one to try anything funny when a guy is trying to pick up a girl so I didn't really do anything to entice her, but 10 minutes later she is walking over to me and just latches on. I realize that she is really drunk (so am I) but we really hit it off, she was really young, slim and from Puntarenas. Once we got back to the room she went straight for a BBBJ and we went at it all night. Didn't talk about price until she left around 1 pm the next day, I gave her $300 which I thought was fair.

I also met up with a couple chicas from past trips. One from Orotina that I really liked before wasn't doing it for me this trip. She arrived around 4 pm and we had agreed for her to stay the night but I ended up telling her that I wasn't feeling well and kicked her out around 8 pm. We both said that we weren't going to Cocal later but we saw each other later that night of course. The other is now my all time favorita. She's from Zeledon which is quite a ways away, but so worth it (for me at least). She is super cute, 18 years old, amazing body and speaks OK English. We just get along so well that its fun to be with her. She stayed for about 24 hours, most of which were in the room, but I did parade her around the pool area at crocs for a bit where we got plenty of looks from the families there. We still talk now on what's app, she always asks when I'm coming down to see her again and sends me random selfies every day or 2. I wouldn't mind traveling the country for a week with her as a companion, maybe for trip 4?

The girls in Jaco were great, hopefully the price will come down (probably won't) to make it a bit more manageable. There is plenty to do, I was down there with a buddy that I had met on a previous trip and we went fishing, zip lining and a TV riding. I also really liked hanging around the crocs pool. It is really nice and just feels like your on a vacation.

Till next time.

Do you think it was $150 because you were asking them to return to Crocs with you? In November, it was $80 or $100 but one chica who I thought was the best looking at Cocal refused to accept anything less than $150. I was staying at the Condo building next door to Cocal.

As far as the girls are concerned you will have to go to the Cocal and find your own or find one and get her to call her friends. It would be illegal here to provide girls as part of the rental agreement.

We are thinking of having a bunch of girls over for a private party most days.Monaco is a very nice condo but it is home to people who do not want you there. They call security to complain if you are on your balcony at night carrying on a normal conversation and they can hear it. Their balconies are directly across about 15 feet away. Security has to respond and threaten you. Thing is a conversation with security revealed that this couple complained every time the unit was rented to single adult males. Violation of any of their policies in the rental agreement and management can boot you without refund. About having a party with several girls, they do not allow guests before 8 pm and must be out before 5 am. They must be checked in and they charge you extra for each guest. Meet someone you would like to have visit you during the day, isn't going to happen. I would never pay to stay there.

This is a review from my trip to Jaco in September last year.

We went to Cocal each night as it is the main place for girls. You'll see random hookers at other places in Jaco such as bars, restaurants etc. , but Cocal is the main spot. I was really surprised at the quantity of girls at Cocal and that there were plenty in the 8 to 9 range. The first night we picked up two beauties and wanted to get them to stay longer than an hour to use the hot tub on our roof deck so they talked us into 200 each for the longer time. Unfortunately, we hadn't used the hot tub before and when we got back it was freezing cold. We turned the heat on but it takes awhile so the girls took us straight back to our rooms in the condo. Performance was good but no BBBJ and the girls were eager to get down to it and then be on their way. They were at the condo for a total of about 45 minutes before they were on their way.

This seemed to be the norm for the rest of the trip. The girls were all very eager to get down to business so they could get back to Cocal to get another date. After the first night I'd ask up front about BBBJ and every girl would adamantly refuse, so I'd immediately say not interested then, thanks but no thanks, then they would immediately say ok to the BBBJ. It's annoying to have to ask that upfront and go through that each time but it's necessary. In general I'd say Jaco is really not a great destination for hookers compared to any of the other known spots like Columbia, Thailand, etc. Any of the other places I've been the girls are all about the GFE at a fraction of the cost, but I love Jaco because I like to do many of the other non-mongering activities in the area, Jaco is easy for me to get to, I've got money so don't mind the over priced girls for once a year and I really like Costa Rica so I will be back again this year.

As far as Monaco Condos go, I liked them a lot and had no problems getting security called on us as the previous poster, Eduardo did. I also did bring one girl, or rather she came to me, in the afternoon and I had no problem with security. However, it is annoying that you have to basically register with security every time you bring a girl back and pay $10. So Eduardo or anyone else, are there are any other girl-friendly-less hassle condos or rentals you can recommend for a small group of guys?

It's annoying to have to ask that upfront and go through that each time but it's necessary...Easily the best option as far as condos is Vista del Mar the condo adjacent to the Cocal.

In general I'd say Jaco is really not a great destination for hookers compared to any of the other known spots like Columbia, Thailand, etc...Me and a group of friends are staying at the Diamante Del Sol. This will be the 2nd time we will be staying there. It is an awesome beautiful place and they let you bring back girls. Last time we had like 8 girls over partying with us. Looked like a rap video. Only bad thing is that you need to take a taxi from there to Cocal but it isn't that long.

Hey all,

First time posting here, stumbled across this forum and it seems like a great resource.

A group of 4 buddies will be coming down from Canada in Sep / Oct of this year and we had a few questions.

Still trying to narrow down the destination. We are partial to Latinas and were considering Panama but then talked to some people and have been swayed to staying at Jaco Beach. Travel is a consideration so we'd like to keep it limited to central america. Given the above info is Jaco beach out main choice or would you recommend another destination?

If we do choose Jaco we'd like to obviously be close to Hotel Cocal. Given an approx budget of $1000/ nt for 4 nights where would you recommend we stay? Our preference is an upscale house with that amount including food, booze and cook. Is this doable? Any recommendations?

Also, considering Vista Mar Jaco Condos connected to Hotel Cocal and Diamante Del Sol condos. I'm assuming both are "guest" friendly? Do either come with a 4 bedroom option?

Croc Casino seems nice but its on the other end of the strip and we do value convenience of being close to Hotel Cocal.

Appreciate any advice you can give us newbies.

Hey DDB2016.

Go to Jaco.

You will have an amazing time. However I should warn you that 5 days is not enough. If you have this free pass you should milk it for all it's worth. 7+ days is best IMO.

Cheers

I'm thinking with 4 people its not really worth it to get a mansion.I stayed 3 days it wasn't enough for sure.

I'd suggest vista Mar., it was perfect for my stay 3 bedroom condo. Right downstairs is Cocal and down the block from all the action that's how I like it.

You can check there web site, a 4 bedroom penthouse is available. VIP service is available chef etc. For me I only want to be in my room to fuck and sleep, so a chef wasn't of interest.

I see you mention Panama, you might consider Sosua. It's a similar layout to Jaco with everything in close proximity. I haven't been there recently but have several trips on my belt DR IMO / E it's more Wild Wild West, but it has a bit more to offer party wise an CR more adventure wise. There pros and cons its all your opinion you can read all about it. One thing I really enjoy about Sosua is the beach, Jaco cannot compare. There is restaurants and bars one after another.

Whats the best way to negotiate a rate for the night?

I've read girls typically try and fit in multiple clients so if you show up between 12 and 1 am things slow down and they may be more open to accepting one price for the entire night, but don't want to miss out on the talent either.

Another option may be to offer say $70 per shot. So even if they take the entire night to help you finish 3 x that's still $210 plus tip in their pocket. Likely more than they'd make other wise in a night and this is guaranteed $.

Any other suggestions?

Any other suggestions? There is no best way to negotiate TLN in Jaco, nothing consistently works. This is the economics of Jaco. About 5 miles from Jaco is Los Suenos resort. It consists of a golf course, an elite Marriott, a marina for fishing, upscale restaurants and hundreds of private homes and condos. The condos starting price is in the 600 to 700 thousand range. Fishing from the marina starts at about $1000 for the boat per day and goes to over $3000. In other words, the people staying here and fishing out of here have money. They are not coming to Jaco just to monger. For guys like these, a girl who would cost $500 plus for an hour it is no problem for them to give them $500 or more to spend several hours. Get a group of guys renting a private house for a bachelor party. It is a one time thing for them and to get to spend some time with women who could be centerfold models they are willing to open their wallets. Many of the girls working at the Cocal, worked at the Del Rey in the past. They go to the Cocal because they can more easily find customers who will pay a hundred or more. At the Del Rey most of the guys who go there now are experienced mongers who hear one hundred and start trying to get them to go for less. If you get to the Cocal between 7 pm and 10 pm it is early. Getting girls to go for less than their price is not easy. They would rather chance not making $80 or $100 from you than missing the guy who will give them $300. If they go with you it will be hurry up and finish so I can get back out and find #2. There is a girl to girl network of knowing where to go to entertain for private parties. Many of the hottest women rarely are seen at the Cocal. At times you will see groups of 8 or 10 girls leave the pool area, hop in a van and take off. There are close to 50 rooms in the Cocal and the Condo next door, the Vista del Mar, has room for another 40 to 60 guys. There are generally close to 200 women who pass through the Cocal on a good Friday or Saturday night. The ratio may look like 7 or 8 to one, a buyers market, until you take into account they girls may have had 3 customers before 10 pm. At this point I have had ones that I have known for years, sit with me and drink and finish out the night with me for a couple hundred dollars. They had already earned what they needed for this trip. Now if someone came along and offered them a ridiculous amount they would go. Then you have to look at it form their side. If it is 10 pm, how many times is this guy going to want to have sex before 9 am? So if you are 40, fit and handsome, the price may differ than if you are 65 fat and worn out. Who will be the easiest customer? Contrary to popular belief having sex with us is not something that really turns them on. If they had to choose between one of us and their Tico boyfriend, if the money is the same, we loose every time.

It never hurts to ask and try. You will be turned down with regularity if your idea of the value of their time does not agree with what they feel their time is worth.

There is no best way to negotiate TLN in Jaco, nothing consistently works. Spot on. The best way and close to the only way to get all night with anything of quality in Costa Rica, is to return visit.

Once you spend some time with one, if you have some chemistry, you can wife up for the cost of bringing her along and a $100 a night.

Ends up more, you got to feed and drink her among other things.

First trip, one taker out of ten asked but got two that I hit it off with during short term and got numbers.

Second trip, told them I was coming and asked if they wanted to go away for a few days and both said yes.

Third trip down was pure glory, a repeat and went to hot springs in Arenal for 4 days.

Fourth trip in a few weeks. End of July.

Happy hunting but the best advice anyway, take her short term to start, no matter what your intent. If she digs you, what's up her tomorrow and you got a much better shot.

You don't want to negotiate before testing the goods, especially if she is a 9 or 10. Test drive that shit.

Stick to your prices. I pay this and I expect that, expect some turn downs and keep hunting.

What you are looking for is in Sousa and Asia.

Check her out first and if you find her compatible then try to negotiate longer term. Many, for a variety of reasons can't do all night or wife up. Generally they have kids they have to get home to or arrange care for. It is much easier to wife up with one that you have been communicating with for a while from the states. It gives them time to make arrangements and they like to get you off one on one away from the competition.

And secondly just be nice. That goes a long way.

I generally never have issues striking up a convo and getting interest. My thoughts are to time it to between 10 pm and midnight and if you're still interested in her after the initial encounter you could offer her an additional $100 for another pop. Or $250 for 3 pops. I can't speak for others but generally it takes me a while to get going again and that would take up most of the night.

From her perspective maybe if she's lucky at tops she might find another client. This basically guarantees her 2. 5 clients which she might not find otherwise.

Worst case take her number and have her visit the following afternoon as I hear the day game is weak in Jaco.

Howdy,

I've been to the Cocal before, but only around the weekends. Is there action in the Cocal during the week? Is there action other places in Jaco? I'm thinking about spending a week there. Maybe longer only because I have friends (a couple) who will be spending two weeks just in Jaco (his wife lets him have fun, but only like Jaco). I've been to San Jose several times so I know that the preferred is San Jose during the week and Jaco on weekends, but I'd like to hang with my friends so am wondering what the week is like at Jaco and fairly immediate environs. Mainly, is there enough action during the weekdays and Sunday to suffice.

Thanks

They stay in many kind of low end motels. I had one regular who said they do not like to do ST during daytime. Why? I do not know. Possibly they want you little drunk and agree to their price. Unless the girl is into you she will leave in the morning or after one shot. Maybe money talks and if you offer the right price who knows. Personally I would be too tired from the previous night and not interested in daytime action.

You can do day trips to Manuel Antonio and take in the sights.

Is there any benefit to using local currency (Colons) vs. $US?

Based on 550 to 1 and say ave price of $100 US per girl one would expect to donate 55,000 colons.

I'm hearing the price is better if you convert to Colons. Any truth to that?

I'm hearing the price is better if you convert to Colons. Any truth to that?Dollars vs. Colones depends on how comfortable you are negotiating a price in colones. If you tell a girl $100 then try to pay her in colones, what conversion rate do you plan to use? If you use 500 to one and pay her 50,000 you save roughly 8 dollars, but you are ripping her off. If you pay her the going bank rate that was 543 yesterday, you made things complicated but neither gained or lost in the transaction. If you tell her cincuenta mil (50,000) colones during the negotiation and she accepts then you agreed to roughly $92. Cincuenta mil and cien dollars are easy numbers to throw out. They are round numbers easy for a girl to understand and say yes or no.

Do Not exchange at the airport they only give you around 460/480 / dollar.

If you agree on $100 they are happy with 50 k, from there average everything out at 500 / dollar, $80/40 k, if they ask you for the remaining 2,000 or 3,000 colones just say as they do, sorry no change, the massage parlors will give you exact change also, if you use dollars they win, you need colones for the girls propinas, again better to have colones.

Hope this helps.

Any recommendations for day game in Jaco? Or is it best to take the number from someone you hit it off with on a previous night and have them come back for a visit? If you are looking for an all night, first, it matters where you are staying and what the rules are. A lot of the nicer places to stay, more than not, do not allow guest until after 10 pm and they got to get out by 6 am.

So 10 pm becomes important no matter where you are staying, for obvious reasons but the rules of where you are also impact your offer. Always stay at a place that allows unlimited access for guests, if you plan on shooting for over nights. If you just plan on a one hour or two hour visit every night, than its not a problem to consider.

One of the first questions you will get is, where are you staying. Most people assume that is information used for pricing structure but the answer you give her, tells her much more information than that. She knows the policies of all the properties so she knows already what your limitations and possibilities are before you even open your mouth.

Where you stay also has impact on the offer. If you are staying in a Junior penthouse at Monaco, you got a 1,600 sq ft high end condo with a 600 sq foot private patio with a hot tub, flat screen and bar. She is going to like the idea of hanging out with you there a fuck of a lot more than if you ask her to spend the night with you at the Hotel Poseidon.

"Day Game" starts about 6 pm. And you got four hours to seal the deal before the selections start getting made as the 10 pm. Flood gates open at a lot of properties.

If you are looking to shoot for an all night, start around dinner and try to lock something up for the night. If you are personable and reasonably attractive, you can find it. The offer is 50,000 cr, dinner, drinks, dancing if you / she want, party at condo and stay the night. You can sleep as late as you want (most places boot the chica at 6 am) and if we hit it off, maybe you can stay another night, we will decide in the morning.

As mentioned, there are many reasons she can't do an all night, boyfriend at home, kids, whatever. But they all can make it happen the next night for the most part, they just need time to get it set. This is why the test drive system usually works best. If you take her night one and she enjoys herself, you make the offer for tomorrow. If she says, she can't because. She didn't like you or want to. If she did like you, she will jack for another $20 to pay her "sister" to babysit.

Always pay for everything you can in colons, period.

1. Do not know anything about Crocs.

2. Week days as well as weekends are good in Jaco. 1. Crocs is a "vegas" style casino, sort of, that is over priced with a nice bar. Besides an hour or two gambling, not much reason to be there.

2. Every night at the Cocal is hot from 10 to midnight. Sunday through Sunday. After midnight, Sunday. Sunday, they move up the corner to LE Loft.

Monday Night. The Orange Pub.

Tuesday Night. The Green Room.

Wednesday Night. Jaco Blu, ladies night / reggae.

Thursday. Saturday night. Cocal.

Any night after midnight. LE Loft.

LOS Amigos, best sports bar in town, lots of friendly chicas show up and you got a better shot at all nights both here and at all the places I listed above than trying to pull from Cocal.

From the other places, they like to act your on a date, since she is a "semi-pro" and not a hooker like those at the Cocal. Whatever makes ya feel good baby.

LOS Amigos chicas have that Sportsman vibe, if you been to SJ. A little more barrio but a bit more relaxed and fun.

Good luck.

Hi,

Heading to Jaco beach for January, going solo any recommendations for a girl-friendly condo building.West end of beach has McCaws, total privacy and no rules on girls, just sign them in.

Vista Del Mar, which looms over the pool at Cocal. Your patio is literally looking down on the bar and pool there, no rules.

Monaco and Monte Carlo are girl friendly but have a $10 fee with no time limits.

All of the DayStar properties have a 10 pm to 6 am rule, there are a lot of these properties.

Best to contact Marc at Costa Rica Gurus, he can help you get sorted out.

Will be in Jaco next month and truth be told after heavy night of drinking I often find myself with whiskey dick. Not so much getting hard, but have issues reaching climax. Similar to how women go for massage and spas I wanted to treat myself to a 1 - 2 HR BJ (no FS). Can anyone could recommend a girl that specializes in BJ's only. I know the response is going to be "they all do. " However, I'm looking for 1 -2 HR BJ and most girls get tired of performing the same act for that duration. Anyone have a provider they can recommend? Light skinned Latina would be ideal from spinner type to average build, non-enhanced.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

I'm staying in Manuel Antonio, but would like to make a short 1-day trip (no overnight stay) to Jaco. This Friday or Saturday. Since I won't be staying there overnight, it makes no sense to book a hotel room. I will be outdoors pretty much all the time anyways, I only need a room for 1-2 hours if I decide to bring a girl in.

Are there any short-term / hourly hotels in the area, not expensive?

Ideally, I would just hit a massage parlor and not worry about a room. There are plenty of MPs in San Jose, but I can't find any info regarding MPs in Jaco, are there any? Seems like girls are picked up at Cocal and taken out to hotel rooms.

It will be hard to find anything in Jaco this weekend due to Surfing contest.

How difficult is to get Viagra in Jaco? Or would you need to get a Dr to prescribe it?

Always ask for generic version prounounced, like, "henerico" to save $ but it's available there over the counter at EVERY farmacia in the country as well as virtually every other country in Central and South America. On your previous post you asked about a BJ specialist. PM me for an excellent contact. She's a solid 7 in looks but a 12 in attitude. She also speaks excellent English and swallows. She told me once that she believes cum is good for her health. Very holistic approach to oral sex I must say. She'll stay on the cock for an hour to get you off if that's what it takes. Genuinely enjoys her paid hobby and reasonable GFE rates. Pics of her included here. Enjoy your trip.

I spent 4 nights at the CROCS on Aug 17-20. Booking.com had a rate of $150 a night which was only $30 more than a crappy Cocalroom with no internet. PVT picked me up at SJO and I had checked both bags since they free on Southwest. Bad idea as my carryon was lost so I had no laptop, billfold, speakers or car keys.

Checked in to a very nice room albeit facing the mountains and parking lot. PVT and I had a couple of drinks at the very nice bar and then proceeded to Cocal. We arrived just as they were closing and only a couple of chicas left. A Medellin chica offered herself and we had a deal until I requested besos and she ran away like crazy after that. I didn't care as I was tired so taxied back to CROCS and went to sleep.

Walked into a massage place near where the river crosses the next day a got a massage from why and also her phone#. Had some food at Los Amigos where I always eat when I am in Jaco. Walked on to the COCAL at 5 pm and looked around. Talked with a very attractive chica who wouldn't budge off $200 and said only 1 pop then she will leave. Ran into a couple of Nicas one a very cute spinner with big black eyes. Offered $100 for her and she accepted. Off to the CROCS and she was in short, short cutoff jeans and a halter. Got a disapproving look from front desk and she said we have to wait until 6 pm to go to my room. So I asked the Nica if she wanted drinks or something to eat while we waited. She wanted neither she wanted an extra $100 for waiting. Usually Nicas are pretty accommodating but one demands an extra $100 to wait in the very nice bar. I went to the bar, got some change and handed her a 5 K bill and she was quite surprised as I told her no mas.

Back at the Cocal around 7;30 pm I met a very nice chica from a town near Jaco. She showed me pics of her little girl and I really should have sessioned with her. But I had plans with why after she got off at 9. Why called and said she was off, so I told her to meed me at Los Amigos. I waited and waited and was about to give up when she shows up about 9:45 pm. We get in her car and I tell her how to get back to CROCS and we have a very nice TLN and I pay her $100 for the service. I was calling Southwest about my bag every few hours and got transferred around and this airline has no customer service.

Called K and she was ready to drive to Jaco. I have been wife up with this chica the last few trips and she arrives looking great dressed nice for this hotel. We have a few drinks and up to the room. We mostly just hung out at this very nice place. The bartenders are beautiful and friendly as are the Casino dealers. I got 55,600 colones for $100 US at the casino which was better than the bank where I got 54,800. The CROCS is a very nice hotel for WIFI up with a chica, a great pool and I will return as soon as I can. I would say CROCS was full on Saturday but occupancy was maybe 50% on Wed or Thurs.

Group of us coming down and we have a nice upscale place. Preference is to bring girls back and drink and hang out vs. Just getting into the act. What's the best approach to have girls stay for 2 to 3 hours incl 1 SOG?

Obviously they are there to make $ and would rather be in and out and see other clients. Whats reasonable price to pay for all night?

I'm thinking if they maybe see 3 clients a night (this is just a guess likely a lot more) then they'd make $300 so if you offered them $250 and you're reasonably decent looking with good personality and fun to hang out and provide alchohol, food and / or other party favours they'd hedge their bets and take the safe $250 ?

Also is going rate of $100 for one SOG? Or one hour? And would girls charge the same rate just to hang out?

Fellas,

My first time to Jaco and the local talent did not disappoint. Spent 4 days exploring the area and going to the beach and then one day in SJ. Don't advise getting to Jaco much before Thursday as the talent pool is rather limited earlier in the week. However, hold on once the troops arrive as there is talent galore! Most of the talent is at Croc's and the Cocal, standard rates apply - $70-80 for an hour. Let me remind newbies looking to get away for a long weekend, you have to and-E-G-O-T-I-A-T-E for the best price as these girls are very street wise and are experts at separating you from your money. Do not take the first price as we all will pay for your mistakes. Given that this was my first trip to CR, I enlisted the help of Eduardo49 as he has lived in the area for 10 years and knows the lay of the land quite well. I strongly encourage first timers to reach out to him prior to making your trip as he can make it much better!!

See article below. Be careful out there guys. Jaco is getting dangerous.

US man shot, killed outside Jac club.

The Tico Times 4 days ago.

Updated at 8 am On Thursday, Sept. 29.

A 38-year-old USA Man was killed in the Pacific beach town of Jac outside of a club early Wednesday morning, according to the Judicial Investigation Police (OIJ). A friend confirmed the man was John Lonergan of Florida.

OIJ's head of operations Michael Soto Rojas said Lonergan left the club with a woman at around 4:20 in the morning.

They were hailing a taxi when a man approached them and offered them drugs, Soto said. The couple declined and got in the taxi.

The man who tried to sell them drugs, who has yet to be identified, opened the door and tried to drag the woman out of the car, according to OIJ.

A fight brewed and the unidentified man pulled a gun and shot Lonergan twice. He died in a local clinic, according to OIJ. The gunman fled and had yet to be captured as of Wednesday evening.

Lonergan left behind a wife and two children, ages 3 and 13, according to his friend, who wished not to be identified.

I was there last week for 2 nights. I was going to go out on my first night, a Monday, but then it started raining like crazy. So I stayed in. I had a good lay the night before, so I was OK with staying in. I went to the Cocal Casino on Monday night and I seen about 50 girls. I was told Tuesday is a very bad day to go. The girls said on the weekend there are too many people and it gets so crowded people with bump in to you etc. The girls there are very aggressive. Even though I was talking to two girls, another girl tried to steal me away and the two girls were like, what are you doing? The bartender gave me my change and another girl comes up to me and says me the money. I was like what? Then the two girls and her ladies friends where like, what just happened? You cannot stand alone for long without women "bothering" you. But. I think if you are a regular there, then the ladies don't bother you as much. Or I am too handsome. I don't know. LOL.

Anyways, after hanging out with quite a few girls I finally go with a 22 YO local. Now I have been to every country in the Americas except Belize, which will be coming up very soon. The Costa Rican chicks are fun to hang out with. They will just talk and talk and talk and talk some more even after sex, or if you have no intention of sex. The girl asked for $150, and it was near impossible to talk her down. We agreed to $100, plus a good tip. She said she promises to me make happy. She must have been screwed over many times because she insisted on putting money on the table. Anyways, service was pretty good actually, but she refused to do BBBJ. Everything else was great. I still had to spend up some Colones and she asked if I wanted to go have some drinks. So we went to a karaoke bar which was just outside my Airbnb.

We honestly had a good time as she speaks very good English. And she didn't mind kissing in the club once in awhile. After about an hour in the club I could tell she was trying to get me in the mood to go back to my apartment. Well, I know that wasn't going to be free, so I said I am just going to prepare my things for leaving tomorrow.

I walked up and down the main street during the day, but I didn't go looking at any other bars at night. The Cocal actually closes kind of early, probably because it is also a hotel. The girls where telling me the places they go after the Cocal closes, but usually during week days they just go home. On weekends they will go to places like LE Loft, a club called "Orange or something, and another club called "Blue Bar" or something like that. There are still lots of ladies at the Cocal. I only looked on a Tuesday night. On the Weekend I think ladies come from other cities.

Gagoo,

Thanks for the latest.

The clubs like Orange pub, Monkey bar, Jaco blu all have theme nights or days when it's popping. If you think Cocal is packed check out Orange pub on a Friday, it's jammed out, lots of locals great experience but a bit of a younger crowd it might not be the scene for some. The Reggae night was at if I recall Monkey bar, great music if that's your thing but wasn't as crowded as I expected.

I'm getting the itch for a trip, might go back in February.

What did you pay for toda la noche? Also how would you rate the quality of the girls you saw on a scale of 1-10.I paid $100 the first night but the chica was from a massage place that I went to in the afternoon and she picked me up in her car after work. Then I paid $200 a night for my favorita who drove in from Cartago and stayed with me to checkout. She got a wristband from the hotel when she arrived. I was unable to come to terms with two or three Cocal chicas because of high asking prices and questionable attitudes. One chica wanted $200 for one pop or una hour whichever comes first.

Is it true that just recently, now the Cocal, does not allow anyone to enter unless they are staying at the hotel? Anyone visited recently? No, I've been there the last 4 nights, anybody can go in and use the pool, eat, drink, pick up chicas, etc. Business as usual.

But wow, this is my first time here in 10 years and first time since they started allowing working girls. Lots of girls, but most of them are way too heavy for my liking. Like really fat! A couple of the very hot ones have given me some attitude and all insisted on getting paid up front, which is a deal breaker for me. My wingman took two for $100, one for $120. Hard bodies, but not a real GFE. We'll try again tonight.

No issues going in or taking girls out to nearby hotels. Me and my friend had a great time and both enjoyed the company of beautiful young ladies.

Quality is higher than del Rey, prices about the same. I paid $80 each time for short petite girls. One Costa Rican one Dominican. Both light skinned. One of them 18 one 21. One couldn't have been more than 4'11'. Terrific place but if I went back I'd probably just stick to del Rey for the convenience factor.

IDK if this should go under SJ or Jaco reports but I'll post it here since we spent 4 of the 5 nights in Jaco. Very boring report guys but I'm just trying to contribute! Thanks for reading!!

SJ / JACO FEB 1-6, 2017.

TRANSPORTATION:

2/1 Early am Commuter flight to HOU left & landed a little early. Flight to SJO left & landed a little early. Customs was as busy as I've ever seen it. At least 3 Intl flights landed at the same time. 30-45 min to get thru. My Uber driver was a bit late getting there so I went upstairs & changed some money (551 CRC:$1 USD) & waited in the a / see. The ride into town was a little different with bridge being down so that took about 45 min Goin a different route. 9 k CRC for the ride into town. 11 k CRC on Thu for the ride to Adobe RAC to wait for the rest of the crew who were coming in on Delta from ATL. Waited for ever as they had several flights come in at once as well. Got the rent a van & made our way to JACO stopping off at Tarcoles to see the Crocs. The return trip to SJO Monday am Got off to a slow start as there was some road construction just outside of JACO & just past the turn off to go to LOS Sueos. About a 20-25 min delay there.

LODGING:

Stayed at Marcela's place, the Golden Frog, on the walking street between C5 & C7, a 5 min walk to the HDR. Very hot in Apt 7 this time of year with the Solar Gain in the afternoon & no fan or a / see. Marcela & her DDS husband are so nice & accommodating, but I doubt I'll stay there again unless it is cooler in SJ & I get a room on the other side of the hallway facing AV Central. Got settled in to VistaMar, 2 of us were in 6 B & the other 3 were in the Penthouse 7 C. The rooms were awesome as usual, overpriced as usual but really quite nice. The room in 6 B that faced the Ocean never was quiet as the music from the CoCal could be heard till 2 or 3 when they shut down! The rooms are programmed to never get below 72 F but it was very nice after a hot day of fishing.

FOOD:

Wed Pm: Chubbs chicken wings, awesome as usual.

THU am: Tico Burger double cheese burger. Very good & well worth it!

Thu PM: Taco hut in Jaco, , shrimp taco and a chicken taco, again, very good and it has become a tradition on our first night in Jaco.

Fri. AM: Bacon eggs and toast in condo before fishing trip.

Fri lunch on the boat: mashed potatoes, chicken in rice and fried yucca root. Decent for boat food. The mashed potatoes were over the top awesome!!

Fri PM: Dos Amigos Shrimp bowl very good but nothing to brag about.

Sat AM: Bacon eggs and toast in condo before fishing trip.

Sat Lunch on the boat.
Sun & Mon a.m Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast at the CoCal. Barely qualified as a breakfast. Not really good at all. The coffee was good tho!
FISHING:

Fished with Captn Mitch Fri & Sat & had 2 fairly decent trips, 12 sailfish Fri then 5 sailfish & 3 Mahi-Mahi Sat. Nothing like fresh caught Mahi-mahi sashimi that was caught 30 min ago! Dang! 3 of the guys went for a 1/2 day trip Sunday am For rooster fish with a guy named Captn. Chino. Avoid this guy at all cost! He took them for a 5 hour boat ride for $500 & they caught 1 Jack Cravelle. They spent 2 hours looking for bait & Captn Chino apparently hasn't learned how to throw a cast net yet! WTF! It was a waste of time and money for those 3! Oh well, at least everyone caught sailfish!

CHICAS:

Went by the HDR Web afternoon, Wed PM till about 9:30 then again on Thu am Very slim pickings at best. I know I wasn't there at peak hours so that had a lot to do with it but there just wasn't a whole lot to choose from. The usual cast of characters were there. The 'Librarian' was looking good as usual but apparently has put on the Freshman 20 since I've seen her last. If the Kardashian look alike isn't a tranny (and I know she isn't) she could fool a lot of people if she wanted. There were also several I have pulled from the past but just wasn't interested. So I just stuck with a couple of tried & true favoritas that I had been keeping in touch with. One Wed pm & the other Thu am.

Thu afternoon at the CoCal there were several spinners & several well enhanced hotties but I was to tanked up and worn out from the 2 pops Thu am With my favorite, the waiting at the RAC place & travel to Jaco drinking beer the whole trip to pull anything. 2 little fat Gordita Nicas came up to us like sharks after a scent of blood & were over the top aggressive. They asked how much & in my most perfect drunken sarcastic spanish, I told them that the first one would be on the house / free! The lead shark flipped me off & off they went! Ha.

THU PM: COCAL too tired to pull anyone.

Fri pm ran into Rajan from Panama, probably not her real name. Sessioned with her 2 X last SuperBowl & she was awesome! She did not disappoint. Good looking older used to be a spinner but put on about 10 or so lbs so probably about 120# now, long dark hair (I know, shocker coming from Panama with dark hair huh? Nice seno implants & fairly good attitude. All they girls wanted 1. 5 but quickly relented to cien when I countered with ochenta o nada. Sat after fishing pulled Jenny from SJ, tall blondie, decent looking, very skinny, needs breast implants, very shy, almost like she was being forced into what she was doing or she would suffer the consequences. Very nice session with a very humble chica but something was amiss! Maybe it was just the fact that I am old, fat & baldheaded, IDK!

Sun am Sessioned with the Panamanian again. So-So session, probably the last with her, 4 X is enough!!

Awesome trip as usual because any trip to the CR is better than staying here in the PoonTang prison!!

Dboy,

The boots on ground report is appreciated.

I'm undecided on which is my best suited.

I've stayed in vista Mar. And loved being right in the mix of everything. I'm planning a upcoming trip with more people and considering renting a casa. Any thoughts on pros and cons of a condo vs casa a few minutes away?We have thought about this also & I have always voted no because of the taxi there & back for the chicas. To much hassle & you know they are going to ask for $20 going back if you don't go with them. Either way, you add 2 taxi fares to the mix which will increase your chica cost by at least 15-20%. I also don't like to leave the compound at night other than a walk to a nearby restaurant to eat! JMHO!

Thinking of booking a trip to Jaco in the near future. Can anyone comment on Cocal vs. Crocs?

The impression that I get is that the main scene is at Cocal, but that Croc's is a better place to actually stay, with good wifi. Online, the pictures of Croc's look way better. They seem to cost about the same, about $180/ night.

Does Croc's have its own scene? Has anyone here stayed at Cocal, and also hooked up at Cocal while staying at Crocs? How did the experiences compare?

The reason I ask is that I have been to San Jose several times. I have been online for several discussions, where I have strongly advocated staying at HDR instead of one of the nearby hotels. In my experience, HDR is the ONLY wortwhile scene in the city, and that staying anywhere else just isn't worth it, UNLESS you place a high premium on quiet. I am someone who generally places pretty high premium on convenience, unless the alternative hotel location is much better.

How bad is Cocal as a place to stay?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!I have stayed at both Cocal, Vista Mar condos and Crocs. I paid $150 a night at Crocs using booking.com and really loved it. You have to bring your chicas back from the Cocal but it's only 2 k colones taxi ride.

Taxi is 5 $ , I'm not concerned with a few bucks it's the convenience of having everything steps away that I was worried about. I like to be out all hours so I'll see how it goes.

Thanks in advance!Back from San Jose and Jaco, stayed at mango marr next door to cocal, family place but you can walk chikas Back after dark, had one naked puta try to go on my balcony when kids were swimming, several GFE, will be back in a few weeks.

Streets are not well lit at night, taxi to crocs would not be a problem IMO, Jaco blu is still the late night spot on wed. LE Loft every night but small and crowded. Cocal has average overpriced rooms.

Watch out for the "banana boys".

Thanks in advance!I got back from my first trip in January. It was a blast. I stayed at Crocs. It is a very nice resort but I saw no nightlife, unless you were already with a chica, at night. At night, I was charged $5 for a cab ride to the Cocal. It is s short ride but don't walk it at night. Cabs are abundant at both hotels. All the chicas were at the Cocal. Average rate was $150. I did notice that while things started early, some real talent seemed to be showing up as the night went on.

On the last night I splurged and got a second, poolside room at the Cocal so things were easy. Crocs is quiet, nice and safe. However, the beach is pretty quiet and most people stayed by the pool. Cocal hit me as like an older, motel you would find on the beach in Daytona. However, the beach seemed just as nice and there was a lot more activities going on there. If you stay at Cocal, get a room away from the pool because of the noise and bring ear plugs. Other than that, you should be good either way.

Are all the hotels in Jaco cool with bringing in chicas? Any to avoid? I heard a few in San Jose were not cool. Is there any problem with going to the Cocal and then taking taxi back to a nearby hotel? Also, how about the short stay hotels in the area, are they convenient and cheap, and open all hours?

Thanks everyone.

March stay at a Casa, I've discovered the pros and cons of staying off the strip.

The biggest issue for me was getting a taxi anytime I wish to the casa, I'm all night party type too later on is most difficult but even during the day can be an issue. Just like in the states nobody wants to lose money soo a five minute supposed wait turns to 20 +.

I like being able to walk out on the strip and bang everything I want is there.

The pros were the quietness when needed, having a private pool and walking around balls out at will. Random chicks stopping at the house at anytime was a gift and a curse but security ask if you want to check them out or send them away.

Once again majority of Colombian chicks are most harden and ask for most money. One hundred was mostly accepted but some chicks insist on 150 some went down if not, on to the next.

Man cave is a new spot, looks is real nice but setup is a bit awkward, they need to remove the couch from the far side of the bar it takes up that whole side also it's way too dark in there got me damn near sleepy. The music was real hip hop, a surprise I enjoyed but might be better on ny radio then a club.

There is a new shopping complex down the street to the right of amancios. It has restaurants, yogurt stand, brewery. I noticed a lot of investment in a year and a half. Condos being built down the street from LOS amigos. Jaco is live and well.

I will be staying outside of town and will not be in any position to bring someone back with me, I will be time limited and driving a rental car. I'm also really only interested in BBBJ. Is there sort of a Jaco equivalent to Bangkok's wood bar? Any recommendations for a quick in and out? I assume massage parlor is probably the answer.

Does anyone know if the condos limit the number of guests you can have? For instance, if we have 5 guys staying in a 6 person condo, would they let us each bring a girl back at the same time? We are specifically looking at the Monaco Condos.

Hello all,

Just got into Jaco from Panama where I had the time of my life. Much different environment. Definitely do not feel as safe and tons of drug dealers everywhere. Hit up Cocal and was very disappointed with the talent, hopefully it's just cause it's Tuesday. Picked a 19 yo tica. No GF experience like in Panama although it was promised. She used the restroom before and I swear I heard her snort a line. She kept sniffing and touching her nostrils when she came out. Terrible service so I just finished myself off cause I just wanted her to get out. Chick had the audacity to ask for a tip after smh. I was at the Poseidon but place is super ghetto so I moved to the croc where my friend was staying,.

Taxi I took back offered me a friend of his, might check it out. If anyone has tips or advice please let me know. I wish I stayed in Panama LOL.

I have been to San Jose and had the Del Rey experience "many times" over. I was thinking about heading to Jaco and spend a little time at Hotel Cocal this weekend (Oct 13-5). I was wondering whether the scene has changed in the last few months or so. I was there back in February of this year and it was pretty good. The Del Rey has gone down a little bit from what I hear from a few of my other buddies. So I was looking for a little insight.

Always busy at the casino seen, plenty of girls. Can't go wrong with that. We rented a condo since its of season from Airbnb. Whatever Airbnb was asking we lowered and didn't get at the best price I wanted but still a good rate. It was a group of us and most guys just picked up from Casino each day. I went on Seeking Arrangement and got a girl to come down for from San Jose. $100 per day and taxi ride down. She stayed with me for a few days. The rate was around $100 for the girl from the casino for a few hours.

Hi guys,

I've got a trip to Jaco coming up. When I travel outside the USA, I usually like to change money instead of using an ATM card.

Any heads up advice about where to change money in Jaco. Are there casa de cambios or banks around town? ARe they open on Saturday?

Thanks in advance!

I usually like to change money instead of using an ATM card. Why is that?

Manny51
10-30-17, 05:25
Why is that?I have been the victim of ATM pin card fraud in the past. Any type of pin, identity theft or electronic theft has got to be harder to make claims for overseas. Can you imagine trying to call some bank in a foreign country after you have gotten home, and you don't speak the language? Bank of Costa Rica customer service? I don't think so.

That on top of the threat of being robbed at ATMs (in some countries, not necessarily CR). I'll use a credit card overseas before an ATM card. Credit card companies are good about reimbursing you for security losses. But with an ATM card, they have direct access to your bank account. In my mind, not worth the risk.

Just easier to work in cash. Also helps me keep track of how much I am spending better.

Hi guys,

A few questions, I'm planning a trip on December 17th - 24th.

I've heard this is a down / slow time. Is that accurate? When does it get slow exactly? Will I have a few days to enjoy myself?

Also, the last and only time I was in CR I was lucky enough to go with a friend of a friend who knew the owners of the Bookmaker offshore sportsbook. We were taken care of big time. Huge house, car with driver / bodyguard, personal cook etc etc, I'm not so lucky this time and will be e on my own. I have read through the last 5-6 pages going back to 2015 but still have a few questions.

I like the beach / water but I understand Jaco is a lot more expensive, is this still the case? What are the "normal" rates at Jaco vs SJ? My previous trip I spent in Jaco and just drove through SJ so I am unfamiliar with SJ. I'm thinking of splitting my time between Jaco and SJ. Thoughts on this?

Also in SJ, what are the massage parlors like? Is FS available?

Are there strip clubs? Do you pay a bar fee for take out or do they have rooms there? Assuming you can play in strip clubs.

Last question is Edwardo49 a tour guide or just a member of the forum?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Just want something on the beach that is girl friendly.Don't know about SB ho-tel, but this one is guest friendly http://www.crocscasinoresort.com/.

What other options are there other than an airport taxi? Last I was in country earlier this year, I thought I saw a sign in the taxi loading area that said $80 to Jaco. Is that still the case? Does anyone know of reputable transportation from the airport that is reliable and comfortable??

This is our first time going to Jaco. Figured after 10-years of hitting the HDR, it was time to see how the other side lives.

My contribution to the Forum:

I think the bus from the "7-10 Station" in San Jose is the best way to get to Jaco. Not sure why it is called the 7-10 Station, but it is a new, 3-story modern bus terminal from which buses go all over the country (think Greyhound). The cost is 2395 colones (less than $5) and the buses are newer comfortable buses, and probably safer than a car on these highways.

Either way, once you decide you aren't going to pay the close to $100 taxi cost to get to Jaco, get yourself to the 7-10 Station. A couple put up a great travel website explaining the bus travel to Jaco:

https://mytanfeet.com/costa-rica-travel-tips/taking-the-bus-from-san-jose-to-playa-jaco/

From the airport, you could take a taxi (or Uber. But with Uber you would have to have internet running on your phone upon arrival), straight to the 7-10 Station. Best to use a public bus from airport to downtown. Myself, having been to CR a dozen times, I always take the public bus from the airport (like. 50 cents). All your have to do is walk out of the airport, go past all the taxi bandidos, and out on that main street you will see all the locals waiting for public buses which show up every few minutes. I still ask the driver "este va a San Jose?" because all the buses look different and it's hard to understand the markings on their fronts. You will need coins. Just change a $20 or $50 at the airport before walking outside, and get some coins, too. If you plan ahead, you could look at a map and see where to signal the bus driver to stop (probably good to get off near Mexico Hospital), then take any taxi (or Uber) a few blocks over to the bus station. That website above explains where to buy the bus ticket once you're at the station.

And believe me. You're WILL want to go to Jaco. I am here now, and I can tell you that what is going on now at Cocal casino beats the best that Del Rey ever was in its prime. I was there Tues. , Wedn why Thurs and there had to be 100 ladies there on any night of the week, with likely 300+ total coming and going over the night. Many were 8's and 9's.

Don't know about SB ho-tel, but this one is guest friendly http://www.crocscasinoresort.com/.I am headed back in January for my second trip. I like Crocs Casino and Resort. It is 5 minutes from the Local and a $5 cab ride at night. I brought girls back without an issue. However, it was a nice end resort. Nice beach, pool bar, safe in the room, etc.

Nice beach, pool bar, safe in the room, etc.I stay at the Bahia Encantada condos next door and pay $600 colones for a ride there from the Cocal, or barely more than a dollar. Make sure to tell the driver to switch his meter on. It might cost you another 100 colones to get to Croc's but $5 bucks - or $2750 colones at the current exchange rate- is a total rip.

This is our first time going to Jaco. Figured after 10-years of hitting the HDR, it was time to see how the other side lives.I've used several shuttle services from San Jose to Jaco and back and they generally cost about $40. I believe they are also faster than a bus, although most make a stop at a rest stop part way there. Here's a link to the Gray Line. They are very professional and reliable.

Just want something on the beach that is girl friendly.South Beach is too far from the Cocal. A better place is Canciones del Mar on Calle Bribri, about a half a mile away. Nice little place with a pool right on the beach. Also owned by the Del Rey group. There's a third operation owned by the same group, a condo setup called Girasol (pronounced Heer-a-sole). Older but well kept. Either one is a better option than South Beach. You don't want to walk there at night.

For me the main difference is there's nothing around it, so you need to walk or take a cab to shop or do anything else. Canciones is also Del Rey owned but is much closer to everything, including markets, liquor stores and restaurants. Price is about the same. Also, all rooms at Canciones are suites with kitchenettes.

In Jaco, you don't need to depend on Cocal casino, in the night almost every bars and disco have working girls, these girls usually charge more than the usual price from Cocal (generally better quality than Cocal).

Most of the time I went to jaco with heredian chica (good friend for long now), and she will take me to all these places, sometime we wil pick another girl for us, sometimes just drink and party.

Even the same applies to Manuel Antonio, the only time which I felt was dry, is during Easter week.

But I doubt any of the top girls who frequent the bars never go to the Cocal. I think nearly all of them rotate through there on a given night. Also worth noting: even if some don't, there's nowhere in Jaco you'll find as large a selection to top talent. Are all the girls at the Cocal 8's, 9's, or 10's? Of course not. But on most nights you'll find 100 girls around the pool bar and at least a dozen or so are top talent. And all it takes is one. I just love the scene there.

1. When does the action at the Cocal begin?

2. Is there a difficult time finding adequate seating at the pool bar when it is busy?

3. What are the asking prices and negotiated prices to be expected?

4. Are there bars (not discos) in the city worth experiencing for food, drinks and girls?

5. Is there a good sports bar on the weekend for NFL playoffs?

Thanks.

Thanks.1) The action at the Cocal happens at a low level during the afternoon but doesn't really get going until around 8. It peaks around 10 and the hotel shuts it down after 11:30 because the music is loud and they want people to be able to sleep.

2) Yes, by 9 or so seating is at a premium and lots of guys and girls need to stand. But the girls also need to be mobile so they can parade around and sell their wares by following "the walk of shame" around the bar / pool area. They also go out to the entrance to the beach if they want to smoke. No smoking on premises.

3) Asking prices vary according to the hotness of the chica. A few years ago it was $100 an hour but now it's more like $150 or more. However, you can negotiate.

4) I'm not an expert on the Jaco bar scene but know two hot clubs are LE Loft and Galleon.

5) The Cocal pool bar has lots of sports screens. There's also an American-style sandwich place called LOS Amigos that has lots of screens. Ticos love American football. Kokomos also has lots of wide screen TVs.

Me and some friends are planning a trip to Jaco in February. Is it possible to rent from airbnb and bring back a girl from the Cocal Hotel without any problems? Since there is a group of us coming, I need to plan in case the Cocal is booked up. Airbnb seems like a cheap option, but will it work for getting the girls from the hotel or local bars? Also, is Jaco better than Hotel Del Rey in San Jose? I hear many say San Jose is the place, but others think Jaco has much better women. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Thanks. For example, the place I've been staying permits girls with no "Chica Fee" but only between the hours of !0 pm and 9 am. That said, it's not really enforced. So check with the individual place. Another way to go is through an agency like Lost Beach Vacations at 506 4001-0269 and ask them for a "Chica Friendly" place.

As for Cocal vs. Del Rey, first of all I hear the Del Rey is closed for renovations. Even so, all the best girls from there go to the Cocal anyway. With the new road from San Jose to Jaco it's only 90 minutes by car so the girls can work the Cocal by night and drive home.

First post, but I've been coming down since the 90's. Here's my take:

Flight.

Flying into San Jose is the easiest and far better option than flying into Liberia. San Jose is a two hour +/- drive, while Liberia is a 4 hour +/- drive.

Getting to Jaco.

Bus: you can take the bus from the coca cola station. This is by far the cheapest option, but it also the most time consuming. Be careful at the bus station with your personal belongings because petty theft is common.

Taxi: There are one million taxi drivers waiting at the airport begging to take your bags from you and whisk you away. Whether you take one of these or prearrange a taxi before your arrival, you shouldn't spend more than $100.

Rental car: A great option for getting around but it can be a huge pain in the ass if you don't do your research ahead of time. Third party liability insurance is mandatory in Costa Rica. This means that extra $20 a day of insurance that is normally declined when traveling in the US or Europe, you are forced to take. Your first time renting a car you will feel like you are dealing with a "bait and switch" scam. Take lots of pictures of your car when you pick it up and document everything. You will also be obligated to put a pretty large hold on a credit card as a deposit for damages. Driving to Jaco is now very easy with the new highway.

Places to stay:

I favor the small vacation rentals over any of the hotels. Most of the year (besides major holidays) you can book once you get down there. You can arrive, get a lay of the land and then decide what you want. You can normally also save money by doing this because you can negotiate, especially if paying in USD. I'd stay away from the Marriott Los Suenos as there have been stories of the hotel giving the girls a hard time (they have the image to keep up).

Girls.

Many will recommend heading to the casino. There are always girls here, but prices tend to be much higher. I prefer heading to any of the popular bars in the area after sun down. There will always be a working girl and prices are better (R. I. P Beetle bar).

Hope this helps.

PTY may show up later.

3. most girls start at 150 but come down to 120 and even 100. Only the elite 9/10 lookers stay at 150 and don't budge.

Thanks. After a couple of trips to each, IMHO, cocal is a couple of notches above del rey. A lot more selection at cocal too. In 2017 del rey has come down in quality. Will probably pay 20 + more per session at Cocal though. You get some hot out of towners flying in fthe om panama to jaco on weekends too.

Vista Mar. Condos is best place to stay for cocal. A lot of the airbnb type places have stricter guest policies where.

You must show up w girl at check in. Best to ask ahead of time about "open guest" policy. The nicer condoes advertising.

Family are no goes usually.

Wasnt there a map fo chica friendly places a few pages back?

That sounds fabulous, would that BJ specialist still be available? Would appreciate contact info.

Hi all,

Stayed at cocal couple of weeks ago. This was my first time in Jaco (been to SJ 3-4 times before) and I can vouch for the fact that the girls at Cocal were definitely a notch higher than those in Del Rey / sportsmens lodge in SJ.

However, I struggled with finding any girls at Cocal before say 6 PM. Where should I go next time in Jaco for day time action? Are there other hotels / escort services / massage parlours / strip clubs etc that I could visit in the morning / afternoon for girls?

Visited Jaco in early December for 5 days and stayed at the vista delmar. It was my first time in CR and this is a long overdue first post. I had a friend with me. All of our time was spent at the Hotel Cocal. The girls were gorgeous and of all kinds, all shapes and sizes and ages. I actually preferred the scene more Monday thru Wednesday. The number of girls and guys is less but the ratio is probably similar. From Thursday thru Saturday it can go a little crazy. The girl to guy ratio is probably from 1:5 - 1-10 at the Cocal. While we were there we had a quite a few Ricas, a couple of Nicas, a Colombian and one girl from panama.

Vista Delmar was a perfect place to stay with a 3 bedroom apartment. If two or 3 people share it's pretty reasonable and right across from the action at Cocal.

Most girls I paid $100-120. They would ask 120-150 but you could talk them down. You could get 80 as well I think for a few. This was for usually 1-2 hrs but some stayed in much longer as they would drink in the apartment with us. One girl stayed for almost the whole day. I speak almost no Spanish, some girls spoke a little English and some more. I did not partake with any who spoke no English. A translator on the phone helps.

After the first time I always specified what my demand were downstairs at the Cocal, and once it was set I had no problems in the bedroom. I think that was very important. Spent some time with them at the bar, bought them a couple of beers and had some fun and then talked a little business.

The sex was good, some better than others. DFK, BBBJ and DATY is what I like and I got that from most girls I was with. Some I did not partake with as they said no. Sex was all covered.

With a couple of the girls that were great, we had them come by next day in the morning and they were happy to do so. We even took a couple sightseeing with us.

A few straglers were seen in the afternoon at Cocal but otherwise slim pickings before 6 pm. We did not go to any of the other bars, but they are a few which the girls go to once Cocal shuts down at 12 . They have been mentioned on this site before or just ask the girls where they are going. You will still find some girls even after 12 pm at Cocal at the casino which stays open.

Some of the girls that I liked and would recommend were Daisy, Uni, Kim, Vivian, Marcilis. The girls will give you their number so if you want someone for the next day take her number at night and then you can WhatsApp her the next day.

I know that my experience is limited but I really liked Jaco and staying at the vista delmar and with so many girls availability right next door at the Cocal. Hope to get back there soon but next I am off to Begota.
