Last minute tip. Was in Chiriqui last March at the Feria de David, after a loong day of working at the X-Zone(not related to any kind of sexual activities!) catched a taxi and told him to take me to Cabaret El Paraiso(saw an ad in the yellow pages) and asked for reference about it. Dont go to the area where its located late at night on foot and also dont leave on foot late at night, its easy to catch a taxi, as there are also around 3 or 4 waiting outside.
The girls are pretty and $10 will get you laid with the girl of your choice for 15 min

Went to DAVID recently, 3rd largest city in Panama.
Really nasty hobby scene, a couple of nasty clubs and really bugly girls. A taxi guy talked me into a long drive to the Costa Rica border,where there are a coupla strip joints. Insisted that the pborder is fulla HOT chicas. Bars were real pits with open urinals, cockroaches, and bugly girls. If you go to David, take a Hustler and some hand cream, or better yet, stay in Panama City.
There is one brothel/bar in the town of Changinola, which is right near the atlantic side border crossing between Costa Rica and Panama. For some reason I can't recall the name, but it is the only place in town. I happened to be in town on a weekday, I believe it was a monday or tuesday. I went in side and there were only a few girls, and nothing inspired me. But I was told that there are plenty more on the weekends, and that they charge about $20 for tourists and less for locals. If someone else has more information, or someone who happens to be passing through this town, I would love to hear about it.
P.S. On the Costa Rica side, I was told that there are some very shady bars in Sixaola. But I was also warned that these places aren't even safe for locals.

David update:
We are a group of several guys, average age being 30 and here is our experience in David. On Wednesday night la discoteca "La Boom" (or bum), they don't admit men until midnight, and so when they finally let the men in there were over 600 girls inside already :) Take your time to look around before you talk to one. Girls are very very friendly. Probably getting a number or two and hooking up next day is the way to go. Most non pro regular girls. Though my friend was propositioned for 50 bucks by a 22 y old semipro.
We were told one club is where everyone goes to on a given night, different club for every day of the week is popular and happening. Ask locals at the hotel you are staying.
There really aren't american or other tourists in David, so walking around during daytime prepare to be stared and smiled at. A lot of very young pretty girls. IMO the girls are prettier and lighter in David than in Panama, but that's my opinion. Maybe because it's closer to CR. Also it seems that there are more girls than men in David vs in Panama, and so thought the male hotel employees.
Otherwise there is nothing to do in David. If you have a few extra days this must be a fun city. I wish we had time to go to the beaches south of David, I heard it's packed on weekends and would love to see local beauty tan. I hope somebody will get a chance to do that and report their experience here.
Finally there was a strip club called "White Horse" in downtown area , the girls were average and few at 10PM and we left, didn't bother asking prices. The taxi ride anywhere in DAvid should not cost more than a dollar.
You missed Cabaret El Paraiso (The Paradise). The last time I went to David around March it was still open. For $10 you could get laid for around $15. Drinks are around $2-3.

Hi All,
Quick note on Bocas del Toro:
There is one main street where all the shops, resturants, hotels are located.
This street is always busy with foot traffic from tourists shopping and sightseeing.
In the middle of all this is a house that has the doorways curtained off and is obviously a MP. There is a porch out front that sported a couple of old worn out providers. I walked by a number of times but never went in. Too much foot traffic out front.
Another spot is a disco called the Wreck Deck which is a large dock built around a sunken bannana boat. Goes til 4 am. Lots of cute american surfer gals and a few local semi-pros in the back bar area.

Bocas is on the Atlantic side much closer to Costa Rica than Panama City. About a 10 hour drive from PC to Almirante then a boat ride to the islands. A lot of small resorts, many run by gringos. No surfing. A nice place to take mom for the weekend and not much of anything else. If you want chicas, bring your own.

I have been in David for about a week. There is not a lot that goes on here on the surface but if you know where to look, all can be had for about $30 an hour. The university aged women are more than happy to take care of your needs. There is only one decent club here and it costs $100 to take the girl our for an hour and a half. It is called White Horse Club. All the taxis know where it is located. There are about 6-8 women working there and most of them are quite nice. I of course found a favorite right off. They are open from 10pm until 5 am. I got to know their personalities a bit and would recommend Keylin, Allison, Susie or Sausha. They can all be lovey dovey. Bears there are a $1 and it costs $3 for a drink for the ladies. The racket here is for you to buy as many drinks for the women as they can get you to. Some of them can really suck down the suds too. I have paid for as many as 15-20 drinks for 1 girl in a night. It is difficult to get any of them to go with you after hours as they are all afraid of their boss. He seems to be a jerk and fines them heavily if they work out of the club at all. If he catches one coming out of a hotel the fine is $150. He even goes as far as to have them followed during the day. What a jerk. Anyways, I went to el Parido and for about $15 you can get a fat, ugly, dirty chick for 15 minutes. There was only one slender Dominican woman that was at all worth looking at. Well, hope this helps anyone out.

Another wonderful day in Panama. I have developed some contacts that can get you all the 18-20 year olds that you want for $20 to $25 It does not seem to matter to them if it for an hour or 2. Last night I found one that God worked overtime on. Unbelievble, and only $25 for 2 hours. There is a guy that charges you $10 to set you up with one of these girls. After that you just get their number and phone them direct. I never even made it back to Panama City after finding this virually untapped resource. These girls seem to care nothing about age either. I met a 70 year old man who has lived here for 7 years and gets himself an 18-20 year old about once a week and says he never pays more than $20 He introduced me to Jose, who furnishes the ladies. In Panama 6 monthas ago, stayed 4 days in Daivd Panama.
I fly Copa from L.A. to Panama, after I clear customs I have an hour to catch my connecting flight to David Panama. Little did I know the Capital has two airports an International and a National airport, and guess what they are in two different locations of the city!
I haul ass and catch a taxi to the National airport that is 20 minutes away, so I have 30 minutes to spare to catch my next flight, so I walk up to the ticket counter try to purchase my ticket and the ticket girls tells me no way jose!
She tells me that I need to be at least an hour in advance! Now their National airport is the size of any non-commercial U.S. airport, this place can't have more then 20 employees working in it. So I tell the girl the plane is right there, just give me my ticket and let me on, she tells me sorry sir, the next flight is in 6 hours, and Sir make sure you are here at least an hour in advance!
I just look at her and tell her, where in the hell do you think I'm going?
Panama to David round trip $116 U.S. guys do not fly Aero Mapiex, the planes are way to small and over loaded!
Once in David, I checked into the National Hotel, the best Hotel In all of David, per my Amigos.com amiga.
The Hotel National, nice but WAY overpriced for Panama, I paid $80 USD per night for a Jr. Suite.
As far as the Chicas are concerned, I found Nada, except for my amiga. Unless you have a chica living in David, IMHO it is a hugh waste of time.
If any of you guys have a g/f and want to impress her I found a great place, just 2 hours outside of Panama. It is the Royal Decameron Beach Resort and Casino.
This place is great, for two people everything is included even your smokes if you smoke, $96 per day!

Another day in paradise. Things are wonderful in David as usual. I have found that the best was to pick up the ladies in David is to simply go do a little shopping in the local stores and when you see one that you like tell her that you would like to do a little business with her after she is off work. Seems to work 99% of the time. For $20 they will spend a few hours. It is simple after that, just ask her if she has any other girlfriends who would like to play and the rest is history. There is no shortage. I have been sort of tied up as I have hooked up with a lady that I like quite a bit. She told me she was in her early 20's. Another day and a little smarter. Found another gold mine. There is a park in the middle of David where they sell time on a cellular phone. I had a panamanian friend tell me that the girls that do this are available for an hour or so too. He went with me and all he did was tell them what we wanted. They stopped what they were doing and went with us. They were all less than 22 years old and charged $20 for an hour or two. What a bargain as they are not pros and are truely beautiful. Tight little bodies without a single flaw. What more can you ask for. I have lost about 10 lbs. and now walk with my legs a little farther apart. Well, will write more later. Visited the border again with the same great results. When people say that they are having a difficult time finding women I wonder where they are or are not looking as it is on every corner here.

Glad to hear that WTP had a good time in David, but my experience in DAVID was similar to Latina Passion... No real action, a few clubs with a few ugly, overpriced ho's. I didn't try hitting on non-pro's though. I saw the girls at the Costa Rica border clubs and they were butt-UGLY when I went there! Contrast this with the beauties at GT and MC in Panama City, and I see no reason to go to David on purpose. Obviously, YMMV.

There are not a lot of clubs in David. Only 2 that I know about. They white hourse has a couple of cute 8-9 range ladies from colombia. They charge $100 for an hour and a half. The Paradiso has butt ugly women. Not worth the $15 for 30 min. The action is with the non pros. Get hold of the locals to set you up and you will be in heaven. The Border between Panama and Costa Rica has 3 bars. 2 of them with ugly ladies and the 3rd with mostly ugly, but a few 7-10 range. Just depends on what time you get there as the beautiful ones go first and I think for $40 a night they don't last long. I met a cute slender colombiana but she doesn't work there any longer. PM for the names of a couple of the ladies who are young, slender and in the 8-10 range. They only work a few times a month and are fresh and -well beautiful. Not hardened in and watching the clock so they can get it on with the next guy. You will be the only game in town for as long as you want her. I also have the names of 2 guys who will set you up for a $10 fee. Pay it once and then just ask the girls if they have friends who want to join in the fun. The rest is history for you. You will be as busy as you would like to be. I also stay at the hotel Alcala. They have nice rooms and are Chica friendly. Never a question asked and the rooms are nice and clean with great air conditioning.

About the border with Costa Rica, Bouquete, David etc. Hello Panama Experts,
This topic has been rather dismal lately. It was a royal pain in the culo wading through the I Love Sluts flame-fest, etc. Yes, brothers I have RTFF, but still have a question or two.
First, what's the action like in Bouquete? This area of distressed coffee plantations is touted as being the #1 retirement destination in C. America, and a visit there to do "research" is a decent reason to tell the B&C.
Secondly, what's the story about the border with C.R.? I read WTP's posts, but still don't know what town/province he's talking about. I'm geographically challenged, I guess.
To tell you the truth, Panama City doesn't sound like much of a mongering destination; far too expensive (c'mon! I can get laid in Minnesota for $100 - 150.00/hour)!
I'd love to hear from others who have played in Chiriquiri, around David, and especially around Bouquete. Thanks in advance for solid intel.

I think that ILS has been reborn as KOS. As usual he speaks and only shows his ignorance on the subject. The women of Chiriqui are reported to be the most beautiful in Panama. Light skinned, dark skinned, a mixture. I have been in Boquete and it is a beautiful place. I never saw any signs of mongering there though. That doesn't mean that it isn't there. If you are looking for a place to retire look at Vulcan. It is just around the mountain and as yet more undiscovered. The land prices are less than half and the scenery and climate are as good or better than Boquete.
ILS, oh I mean KOS, likes cheap women, I like them inexpensive. He has a hard time distinguishing between the two evidently. His tone of posting has not changed, just his name. I wonder if he will be censored with this name soon too. The border town is Pasa Canoas. I recently learned that there are several more bars with ladies that I didn't know about there too. Who knows how many there actually are. Half the town is in Costa Rica and the other half in Panama. The bars are in the Costa Rica side. No problem to go there with a Panama visa though. The roads pass freely from one side to the other and no one checks for visas. The selection is not as good as at the Del Ray in San Jose but the ladies are a lot more friendly and actually sit and talk to you without gropping your ass. In Del Ray it is hard to walk ten feet without having your ass or crotch grabbed. The quality just depends on the luck of the draw there. Some nights there are a lot of beautiful young ladies, a lot of Colombianas and Dominicanas, and other nights it is slim pickins. I know they had a raid at the largest bar this week and deported about 20 ladies. I talked to several that had been there for a couple of years from DR. I don't know how they do it on a 3 month visa. Guess they got caught. The age range if from 18- who knows. Some look 50 and others look lucky to be legal aged. Anyways I hope that this helps some. The ladies around Chiriqui that I have been with have all been very light skinned and in the 8-10 range looks wise. Not clock watchers at all and are willing to do whatever you would like. A friend who is there is only taking them 2 at a time now and is paying each $20 for the hour. If KOS is bothered by the low prices and needs to flame other people, so be it. It is what it is and all that you need to do is go there and look for yourself.

The first one is so small i could NOT find it on any map????(or maybe I need new glasses?)
Personaly I am kind of adventerous and speak decent spanish. Would you agree with me that a white gringo is not very rare in such little towns?
I also do NOT like if hookers "grasp me by my ass or balls"...I would like to talk normaly with them and I do NOT like to get hussled for drinks that cost 15 bucks each(!!) or "pay-money-for-talking-with-them".
Also I think cheap women do NOT have to mean bad sex. It's mainly the attitude that counts and (imho) in large cities the attitudes of most hookers are not so good. (clockwatchers,thieves,DFE etc..etc..) But that is my opinion.
Would a bus trip to there from Panama city be dangerous?
Maybe i also want to get through Costa Rica as well.

I am in David again with the same wonderful results. I stopped into Pasa Canoas and the women have all changed. There are still a few 7-9´s there though. The current price is $15 for 30 min and this includes the room. The rooms are not that great but they and the women are very clean. There is no pressure, they sit around and talk for as long as you want. The beer costs $1 and for the women $2. There are about 5 of these bars in Pasa Conoas. There are many more women in David in the 9-10 range though. I am in the non pro area and they are charging about $20-$25 for and hour or 2. They don´t seem to have a set time and definately are not clock watchers. Enjoy

Just got back from another glorious 10 days in Panama. I was in Panama city for a day and headed for my favorite panama city, David. As ususal the pickings were wonderful. I went to a local bar and a woman wanted to sell her 2 beautiful daughters, 18 and 23 years old, or $40 for the night. Now how can you resist and offer like that. Before I could scoot them out the door I was forced to share with my sons. Hmmm Well we are keeping it in the family anyway. There were so many to choose from. The club scene is pretty shitty. There are 2 strip clubs and neither is up to much. In fact they are terrible. I am thinking of starting one there myself just to show them how it should work. So much potential and nothing there. The non or semi pro scene on the other hand is amazing. After a few days they were coming in droves to the hotel. I was there with my 3 sons and a friend. I don't think any of us got much sleep. There were women coming into David from the small neighboring towns who heard from their friends that the americans were looking for ladies. The word really spreads quickly. These were young ((not all beautiful, but we gave the plain looking ones $5 for their trouble and sent them on their way) beautiful girls 18-25 years old. We had to screen them closely as some as young as 15 tried to get into our beds. They were pretty brazen and I am sure it was not their first time but--well you understand. I will post the picture of one lady that I was with. She made me promise not to show the front of her but you will get the idea anyway. She was from colombia and hot a firecracker. She was ready to go every 10 min or less. I don't know how many hours she was up for, but after a couple at a time I was damn near dead. Happy mongering and play safe.

Indeed I agree that in such area as west panama (David and surroundings) the pro scene will be dificult .
The non-pro scne however can be very tempting. However if one does NOT speak spanish you can FORGET this. Even in panama many women still do NOT speak english.
40 bucks for a good looking girl is a good price for an all-nighter in Panama.
I don't know about openening a strip bar. David area seems a bit conservative IMHO. And ...how about reactions of local authorities??? (I guess you need to give a lot of bride money to get things working)

They told me that they were stocked with young Colombiana's. I have no idea where Chiriqui and Agua Ducle are located or whether they have establishments similiar to those I referenced above. Can ayone shed any light on this?

with all respect for panama but after being there for 3 weeks and travelled arround i am convinced the socalled pro scene is NOT existant OUTSIDE panama city.
I don't know exactly why but i think it is because many girls/women are in large numbers availeble for sex. If you look decent,speak spanish and are ready to spend some $ on dinner/sodas/beers/taxi i think any man could get laid pretty easy in these regions.
That is why there are no hookers. There is simply no market for them. Panamenian men do NOT pay for sex if they can get if for little money or even for free!!!!!!
I guess the colombian hookers in the capital are desperate for overpaying (mainly) american tourists,retirees or veterans.

The non pro action is alive and well in Chiriqui. David is overflowing with talent. There are a couple of "pimps" that will set you up with what you want for a very small fee. ($10) After the first time you just bypass this person and the girls are eager to pass you around amongst their friends. They seem to like to spread the money around. Much cheaper than Panama city also. About the $20 range per session. The session can be negotiated as far as the time is concerned. It is like having a harem of 18-20 year old ladies. I think in the long run it would be cheaper than having a wife. Just when you think you have seen the most beautiful girl in the world an upgrade comes along to take her place. All is well and wonderful in the city of David. With the right connections anything is possible here. I truely think that any woman walking down the street is available. You only have to have the balls to ask. Met up with another board member and we had a wonderful couple of weeks.

Hi, Any fellow mongers like to have a drink and check out some places in David around Feb. 16th, or 17th? Not sure exactly when my friend and I are going to be there but most likely one of those nights. We're coming in from San Jose and then driving towards Panama City, checking out some areas along the way.

Give you a summary of my month in Panama, October 18th to November 15th. Had three goals in mind, 1. Check out the fishing, 2. Check out the Real Estate and 3. Check out the women. (In no particular order) Landed in San Jose, one night at the Rey, then local transportation to the Osa Peninsula. Some action there, taken up mostly by the big time fishermen, Any action I saw centered around the Carolina Hotel and a bit at Mango Real, Off to Panama by local transportation To David first White Horse was closed. (Out of Business) Action to be had was around the Casinos, La Boom was good on the weekend, Did not pay more than $40 for any one woman, Check out happy hour at Panama Bills, Then off to Bocas Del Toro, if there was any action there it centered around the Wreck Deck where I was offered drugs, women and real estate (in that Order) Flew to PC where I was able to use several recommendations from fellow subscribers to great advantage, Annette for three straight nights was great, Spent all my time around the casinos, Best action was at Crown, (Two at one time $80 total) From there to Colon (scary place) to the Duty Free (A rip off) and four days at the San Blas Archipeligo If there was action there and I was afraid to try (Based on Kuna Yala Indian history) it may be around the San Blas Hotel, While the Kuna are very distinct looking people and not necessarily good looking, there were several in and around the hotel who were lookers. Train ride back from Colon, was high light of trip for me (an old history teacher) PC again for two days, (Casinos) then back out to David in rent a car to look at property, Ended up buying two ocean front lots near David, so I will be back in area again in April with intention of building in September. Back to PC, then out to Pearl Islands, Very quiet and restful, Some action at local bar on Contradora. In summary, Loved the country, loved the women, and the fishing on the Pacific side is great

Aside from a couple streetwalkers we saw around the Iberia hotel and outside the Alcala', we found no action there.
However, I must say, the Alcala' is a FANTASTIC hotel for $20/night. It's like you're staying at the Holiday Inn. Marble floors, hardwood, clean and nice, even $1/hour internet. I highly recommend it. According to one source, it is chica friendly, but we could not find any worthwhile chicas to test that theory.
Finally, out of desperation we went to a strip club called Lipstick.
Actually this is a very nice club except for the music being too loud (minor complaint) and there only being TWO chicas on staff (major complaint). Because of there only being two chicas, you have to sit and wait forever for a girl to dance. We held out for about an hour, seeing both girls dance only once each. The first girl was black, and while her body was only a 6 or 7, she was fun to talk to after she danced and came over to the table. Yes, he made the mistake of agreeing to buy her a drink before asking how much it was going to cost. The ***** ordered champagne and it cost him $10. After that, he refused to buy her another until she agreed to take a beer for $3. Then she got up and left after the beer.
The 2nd and final girl to dance was a Brazilian or Colombian, I forget which, had a smokin' hot body, okay face, but was a total ***** and wouldn't even look at anyone, smile, or talk to anyone. I made it clear I wanted her to come over to our table but she didn't so we left.
It was my first time in Panama and unfortunately we did not get to go to Panama City. I do hope to go there some time in the future.
Not to cause a flame war or anything, but from what I saw everywhere we were in Panama (about 4 different areas) even the non-pro girls are not as hot as Costa Rica, and it appears pros are even hard to come by anywhere but in Panama City. I'll take Costa Rica any day, as far as chicas go.
Also, another recommendation: if you are in David and need a taxi driver for a trip to an outlying area, call this guy: Grimaldo - 6531-0632 ; 775-0826 or 775-0829. He doesn't speak English but was super helpful, seemed very honest, and drove very safely in a nice newer car.
I look forward to going to Panama City some day, but neither me nor my buddy thought much of David: super hot and not much to do.

I went to Paradiso (in David) last night, Tue, about 10:30PM.
It's a sad place, what can I say?
I walk in with my cab driver and sit at a table with him for a drink. Beers are a dollar. There's really no one else there, customer wise.. I credit that with it being Tuesday though. The 3-4 men around seemed to be working there. This is a big open bar room space, with 12-15 tables. There is a very small stage right next to the front door, but no chicas dancing. Really odd place for a stage, btw.
So there's maybe 4 chicas in sight in the bar room, generally sitting alone in the semi-dark or perhaps chatting with another chica. No knockouts, in fact one was decent maybe a 7-8, but she appeared unavailable for some strange reason I can't define (body language?), and the other 3 chicas were pot bellied porkers.
There was no chica lineup for customers or anything, so I was happy to have my cabbie with me, we could just grab a table and 2 beers and smokes and I could case out the scene before deciding what, if anything, I wanted to hit. For about 5-10 mins we were unmolested, except 2 chicas who hit cabbie up for a smoke, then sat back down. I thought, this is okay, at least they don't pressure you, and I can see if anything attractive comes online.
My fear came to fruition when one of the porkers (no face, braces, no tits, big stomach, no arse) invited herself to sit at our table. Of course, given I found her homely and thus I had no interest; her sitting with us made for a very awkward situation, as it limited cabbie's and my conversation, and impeded my shopping.
So the three of us chatted, where-you-from-blah-blah, she's got 11yo twins, this sheet went on for about 10 awkward minutes, I was basically deciding whether to fish or cut bait and leave, and of course she eventually made her pitch for sex.
It's $10 per 10 mins there nowdaze... pretty chica or fea ala this porker (named "Crystal" btw). So being the "nice guy" I am I decided to do her, reluctantly & a little begrudgingly. Bought 20 mins. Went to her room and had 20 mins of unspectacular sympathy sex. The chicas live there, in squalid little rooms with squeeky beds, and a big noisy fan.
Live and learn. I won't do that again. If I'm not hot for the chica, I'll move on, however awkward they manipulate the situation into being if you "coldly" walk away from something you're not interested in. It's ridiculous to screw someone you're not hot for, and don't even really want to see naked. If I could play last night over again, I'd've just left with cabbie after our beers, and taken matters in hand later on... or perhaps shopped for chicas de la calle a bit.
All that said, Paradiso may be okay, if you do everything on your terms, including taking a walk if nothing turns you on. You can just suck down a couple beers and watch the scenery. If a chica you've not invited and you've shown no interest in crashes your table, spoiling your conversation/shopping-experience; don't let it break your stride. Get up and talk to someone who does interest you, or leave, or tell the chica you'd prefer to be left alone (so you can shop/wait for better specimens in peace) etc. Getting deliberately manipulated into an awkward situation like that, and rewarding them by PAYING for unspectacular sympathy sex-- well that's not the point of mongering now is it?

Lipsticks is a downsized Whitehorse. They were so poorly run as white Horse, and charged so much, fined the girls if the sat on your lap type place that they moved to a much smaller location and changed the name. There is another called Esmareldas though that has about 15 colombianas working there. It has been there for about 3-4 months. Also $10 for 10 min and the management is very friendly. I hear also that an american is working on opening a new club there with much better facilities and clean rooms with actual beds in them. They are going to have the ladies dancing one right after the other also. I think that it is several months away though. If I hear any more I will keep you posted. I guess because I have spent so much time there I am lucky enough to have found the inside track with the "locals" There are about 5 universities there and the students are always anxious to suppliment their incomes. I will be there from April 6th to 19th if anyone is planning on being in the area at that time I will attempt to get them on the right path. Take care and play safe

Haven´t really mongered lately.. Boquete looks like the kind of place where if you want action you have to make nice with the hottie of your choice and at some point throw your offer. There's a few bars and pool joints so that'd prolly be the venue of choice. I´m more posting here now so that anyone who wants can PM me if it turns out we can cross paths. WTP: I could very easily be in David area still come your time frame in April so we'll stay in touch on that.
Lastly a David tip which I was PM'd and verified to be true,
Go to the bar at hotel Puerta del Sol, it's in the downtown area, at happy hour, 5 to 7 or so. There have usually been a lot of locals, no pros but a lot of fun can be had. The Hotel is pretty good to, no pool.
I went there last friday night and it was dead, but spoke with the bartender and some locals, they verified the above. Another day, I was outside of Planet Internet (across the street from Puerto del Sol) and a hottie walked by alone about 5-6 PM, I thought dang I'd like to hit that, she went into PdS, I thought nothing of it, then I got the above tip a day or two later, so in hindsight I'd guess she was going to PdS bar to make some dinero. The reason PdS was dead last Friday was, the annual Fair was in David that whole week, and it was a huge draw, half the city was there in the evening, as I saw first hand when I checked out the fair myself!

I plan on staying in David one night to check out the mongering. And have read the many good posts by "Wants To Play" & "Johan" about the action in David. And it sounds good. Maybe can find some locals or semi-pro's there.
Then I am considering a side trip to the town of Puerto Armuelles (beach area) to check that out. Then planning on continuing via bus to across the Panama/Costa Rica border then on to Golfito, Costa Rica. Dominical, Quepos, and to Jaco Beach, CR.
I have been from Jaco to Quepos via Tico bus. It was pretty good short trip.
I would have gone on to the Panama border last trip but the rains had the bridge to Dominical washed out. So I went back to Jaco, after staying one night in Quepos.
Quepos is an interesting small town with some good local sportfishing, some inexpensive hotels, and some local action with Chicas who hang around the local downtown bus station and frequent the bars and restarants near the bus station. While in Quepos I found a local Chica who was milling around the bus station, took her across the street for a couple of beers, and then to my hotel for a good session of mongering.
There is also some action (at least when I was there last) with local talent who stand around this particular local bar/restaurant and listen to the live band music from the restaurant.
Quepos is very small, and you will find this place by just looking around and following your 'ears' to this local pub. Seems like it was 2-3 blocks south of the bus station. If I remember correctly.
I am wondering if anyone has made this bus trip from David, Panama. Or at least the Panama/Costa Rica border up the Pacific coast side to Golfito, Dominical, Quepos, and Jaco.

Fly airpanama, the cost is $73 one way. There is an express buss at about midnight that takes about 5-6 hours and costs $12. Puerto Armuelles is about 45 min. away. You can also take a bus for about $3 but it takes a couple of hours as they make so many stops. Puerto is interesting but the price of beach property has soared. 2 years ago a lot cost about 5-8 thousand but now the same may cost $75,000 As usual the americans have screwed everything up there. Went in and offered as much as $50,000 per hec. As soon as the news spread, the prices all went up. Most of the beach properties are now gone. The town is depressed as Chicita moved out. They are however, in about 6 years going to start on a 6 billion dollar refinery. It is all approved, just waiting now. That will change everything. There are a lot of beautiful ladies available there however. You can take a cab to Golfito from the border for about $10. It is less than half hour if I remember right. Was quite a while ago that I went. There is a flight now from David to San Jose. It just started again a few months ago but is direct. It takes about an hour. They say that customs is bad in David though. Hope this helps some. I just got back from 3 week in David and was "busy" every day and night. Can't help but love this country!

The wife agreed to a boy's only trip to Panama. The plan is that "We are going fishing and scuba diving" its really more like "Looking for women and muff diving."
They surprised us and booked the trip for us at Royal Decameron in Costa Blanca. Don't get me wrong the Hotel looks amazing but its two hours away from the action in the Capital.

Decameron is all inclusive, they have a bus that goes from downtown Panama City, for I think $30 RT per person. A taxi will charge you maybe $40 each way, as it is about 3 hours outside the city.

A place named MOCAMBO is about 30 to 45 minutes, girls are cute, you can watch the girls dance before you decide wich one to pick and it´s very accesible only $12.

Your best bet would be to hit one of the clubs that are currently the in-place for Gringo's (I'm not currently in Panama, so I couldn't say for sure which clubs are currently good). Once there, find a girl who matches your physical requirements and then strike up a conversation with her. If you seem to hit if off make a proposal that she be your tour guide in exchange for you paying for her to eat, party, go to the beach with you etc. Most Panamanians are very poor and would jump at the chance to spend a few days living the life of luxury you could provide. Whether sex is include of course would have be negotiated between the two of you.
If you really want to spark her interest, offer to take her to the Decameron resort. It is a very nice all-inclusive resort that is the dream vacation for most Panamanians but is way out of their price range.

Your best bet by far for professionals is to bring someone from Panama City. The next time you're by a book store, take a look at the Lonely Planet guide for Panama. The edition I used to have listed a place in Rio Hato that on certain evenings turns into an all nude joint. Rio Hato is maybe 10 minutes from the Decameron. If you're trolling for a good girl, your best bet would probably be Penonome, about 30 minutes away. Women there are very approachable, and there are a couple of discos. There should be some semipros -- although I haven't spent much time in the bars/discos around here, I have noticed a few women that looked like hookers coming and going from the hotels with their male friends.
Actually, on the weekend the Decameron itself isn't a bad place to meet women, if you're not too old. It's nonstop partying.
The one bad thing -- Decameron is an all inclusive. You're going to have a tough time sneaking a woman in because everybody wears a wrist band. If you find someone and want to bring her back to your hotel, you'll have to run her by registration and pay a joiner fee. And if you're sharing a room with one of your buddies, you might not be able to do that. There are hotels in Penonome and Antone right on the highway that charge $20-$30. Probably something in Rio Hato too.

The Decameron is great. You will see many beautiful girls there. Almost all will be with someone. Many will be with mongers who have taken them out of PC clubs for a few days. The girls are pretty devoted to who they are with but may be willing to strike up a conversation for a return trip later in the week.
I am not familiar with the place Tiny mentioned but they are worth a try. You will not be able to bring a girl back without paying a hefty fee.
If I were you I might plan one night trip into PC. Get a couple of rooms at a cheaper hotel. Have a real blow out night. You may even get lucky and find a girl to come visit you later in the week. But again, this will be costly as you will have to pay for her transportation, her time and the hotel fee.

The casino freelancers in Panama City would be a good bet. I've pulled ones from the casinos at the Continental Riande and El Panama hotels that would have thought they'd died and gone to heaven if I'd offered them an all expense paid vacation at the Decameron. Right now the casino at hotel Veneto or Marriott or Manolo's might be better bets -- I don't have experience at these places, but look at posts by Regl Travlr et al below. All these places are within walking distance of each other on Espana. Look for women alone or in groups with other women who are relatively light skinned(Colombians) and just a little bit provocatively dressed. Smile and if she smiles back she's very likely on the game.

I will be making my first trip to Panama in about a week, and thought I would ask the advice of other forum members who may have already purchased some Viagra in Panama.
I know in Costa Rica you do not need a prescription to buy it....but how about Panama? Yes or no?
Also does anyone have the recent prices of the 50 mg dose or the 100mg dose of Viagra from any Panama sources. (any pharmacies located in Panama City).
I have purchased a generic Viagra with the brand name - "Sildenafil Calox" before from several farmicias in San Jose at a fairly cheap price....but wonder if it's available similarly in Panama City.

I am just back from a 2 week trip to Panama and Costa Rica. Here are some of my observations.
The prices in Panama seem cheaper than those for the same things in Costa Rica.

On buying Viagra or Cialis in Panama. I checked about 7-8 different farmacias and found that the asking price for these pills in Panama is about 3 to 4 times more expensive than the same pills in Costa Rica.
One farmacia in Panama City quoted me $ 15. 00 per 50 mg pill of Viagra. Others were around $ 5. 00 - 7. 00 per 50 mg dose. I did not buy any of these in Panama. Instead waited until I got to Costa Rica, and bought there.
The price I paid for a 50 mg of generic Viagra - brand name is 'Sildenfil Calox' was $ 1. 87 per one 50 mg pill.
I bought two boxes of pills - 4 pills in each box, for a total of 8 pills.
Price was 7500 colones, which would equal about $ 15.00 USD.
If you shop around in CR you can find them even cheaper.
This was a 2 for 1 special/promotional price, which they have had for at least the last 6 months. As I got them on my last trip in Feb. 2006 at basically the same price.
If you buy more pills then you can probably negeoaite (sp) a lower price. To about $ 1. 50 per pill.
A buddy. WingNut. Said he paid about $ 1. 50 per 50 mg dose. At another farmicia which is within 3-4 blocks of the El Presidente Hotel in San Jose, CR.
From all indications, then it seems that perscription type medications are perhaps higher in price across the board. In Panama than in Costa Rica.

I checked the supermarkets in both Panama and Costa Rica, and the prices for 'raw food' stuffs were about the same. But restaurant prices in Panama are way cheaper than Costa Rica. Depending upon where you are eating. Of course.
I was contemplating a move to Jaco Beach CR in a few months. When the 'ole Social Security kicks in. But from what I saw in Panama. About the cheaper prices, the infrastructure of the country, and ect. I am now thinking that 'my buck' might perhaps go farther in Pamama than in Costa Rica.
For example: I priced brand new cell phones in Panama. The cell phones like Tracfone. Where you buy your own minutes were priced from $ 20-25. 00 (new), as compared to cell phones in Costa Rica which are more difficult to obtain. And can cost as much as $ 100-150. 00 per month. Depending on how much you use them.
I saw and priced a brand new Chinese 125 cc motorcycle in Colon Panama - at the "Free Zone" shopping area for $ 500. 00. The same new cycle in San Jose CR was $ 1200. 00.
(And I am interested in putting in a scooter rental business in Central America. Somewhere. CR or Panama. But have not made the final decision yet on where.)
I did not check things like real estate prices in Panama vs. Costa Rica. But I suspect that one could get a better deal (for less money) on buying or renting a house or apartment in Panama than in Costa Rica. Depending upon the location - of course.
Guess I will have to make another trip soon to Panama and really investigate the prices everything that one would need for living there.

I have subscribed to International Living Magazine for years. They are Not a p4p publication but rather a mainstream journal on real estate, living costs, tax/estate planning, and quality of life issues.
Panama is retirement paradise!! Their "pensionado" program is an unprecedented effort to lure back the thousands of US military and government workers who left the country in the late 90's when the Panama canal was transferred back under Panamanian control.
The current Panamanian retirement program is much more generous than what is now regarded as the original latin american retirement program conceived in Costa Rica in the early 1980's.
The recomendation of IL Magazine is that at this point "any US government/ local government employee (military, police, fire, postal worker) or corporate retiree, who can retire within the next few years and who has always dreamed of a retirement in Latin America - would be Very Foolish not to take advantage of the unprecedented "pensionado" program currently being offered by the Panamanian government under their Law No. 9.
In a nutshell the Panamanian "pensionado" program offers you a reasonably inexpensive immediate Visa (none of that temporary Visa for a year than you can reapply nonsense), a possible path to citizenship, tax exemption on your primary residence, generous incentives to start or open a business if you hire as few as two full-time Panamanian workers, and a "pensionado card" which effectively works as a "Sam's Club or Price Club" discount card. Everything in the country immediately goes on sale for you!

Water was dripping from my ceiling in the hotel room and it drizzled every day.
Even the pool at Veneto was too humid to enjoy. I just walked in and used it each day, as well as the gym there.

Wish I could take the humidity. It is worse than inland Florida. A bit cooler, with a breeze, but too humid.
By the end of my trip I started wearing button-down shirts over the tshirts I normally wore because the tshirt would be soaked with sweat and look horrible.
The dry shirt hides the sweaty one. It's hard to impress the ladies when you look like you just took a shower in your clothes.
90 degrees and palm trees and I'm wearing more clothes than I would at home in the wintertime.
In process of building a home near David, Forum was a great help. And I now hope to add to it. Many things happening in David, Construction, remodeling etc. Lip sticks gone La Boom on way out. The hot area is Miguel Brennes, Near the end where it meets InterAmerican HighWAY. Yuppies, Top Place, Bash to name a few. Former owner of Lip stick and La Boom opening new place called the "spot" across street from Super 99, Will be disco, with dancers and rooms behind, Should be open January, Met Aura (ask for Her) she works for this owner (From Nicaguara) her job (I asked to be free assistant) is to travel Nic, Panama, Colombia to recruit women to work at The Spot, Met a few and went to disco that night. They live near by. Best was still Esmarelldas But have a plan, Most Panamanians work very hard, 10 hour days, 7 days a week, when they go to Esmarelldas, they pay the $10 for 10 minutes, it is all they can afford, Go there and pick your favorite, Pay $40 and make arrangements for next day, Las Olas beach is 15 miles from the club, take one there for the day, you will reap the profits, 6 columbians staying at club now, stay there all day (almost like a prison, love to get out during the day) Met patricia and Lililuna, there were other good looking women there The casinos still can find you a few gems late mostly weekend.

the owner of white horse was the owner of lipsticks and now the new club. they folded because of his poor treatment of the girls. if they were caught sitting on your lap it was a $25 "multa" or fine. if they were cought having a meal with you, $150 multa. he actually sent his workers around to spy on the women and would just withhold the money from their checks. he would confirep001e their passports so they could not possibly leave. with all of his rules and regulations it made it almost impossible to have a good time in one of his clubs. maybe with a partner things will change. i will be in david in 2 weeks and will visit and give my opinion. esmereldas has always been a good place to go. i haven't been there for about 6 months this time, usually about every 6 weeks or so, but i am certain they haven't changed. i hear there is a new club opening there also called tabu. just what is passing around the rumor mill.

My first time in David will be in about 3 weeks, need help on where to stay?
The hotel Iris in David costs 16.50 and the room is decent with it´s own shower and tv and blah blah. Centrally located across from the parque.
Anyone been to David in the last month or so. It seems like it is a round robin of openings and closings. Just trying to plan my trip to Panama in June and want to know if I should include a stop in David. Thanks for your input.

depends what you want..David can be realy HOT...so you might like to take a fresh dive in a pool?
Pain is (AFAIK) there are only 2 hotels in david with a pool...one is Hotel nacional close to the centre...which is at least 45 USD a night...(back in 2005)...or hotel Fiesta a bit outside David...which is clean,save and has a good pool for way less money (22 USD back in 2005). The prob is you will have to take a bus/cab every time you want to go to the centre.Mind you Hotel Nacional is NOT a place wree you can "hop in"with a chica....just like that. Hotel fiesta is:-)
If you just want a clean,save and chica friendly hotel near down town take Hotel Madrid. It's cheap,save and clean....close to the bus terminal and some disko (La BOOM) and a pool/snooker center. Hell In la Boom i found my lil squeeze......and did her for over a week or so...LOL:-) Only cost me some dinners...and some soda pops...LOL
OO and please DO try out "Churasco"s"...the place is a MUST visit if you like cheap,good Brasilian food...:-) Any taxista knows were it is. The place is also a hang out for younger people....and yes that includes girls:-) If you speak spanish you would do good there. Out side the capital more and more Panamenians seem to forget their English language skills....;-)

well, everything except ho's at a massage parlor, maybe. Considering that full service at an MP costs $20-50 in Costa Rica, and $50-100 in Panama. Of course, if you're one of the fools who pay cien when it's quoted at the Del Rey or the Beatle Bar, that's nobody's fault but your own.
Also, most things in Costa Rica are quite a bit nicer/higher quality in CR than Panama. My experience is also that Costa Ricans of all persuasions tend to be more genuinely friendly and honest.

I think the action is cero or near cero or even BELLOW cero. Bocas is just a tourism hang out, nothing like a big center for "professionals" to go.

The ONLY thing you can do is hunt for non pros, which believe it or not is possible. A buddy of mine went there for 3 days and was with 2 different chicas. Just got back from David again. I should try something new but have so much fun there that it is hard to change. I have been there enough that I know the place well and where to search for the ladies. About got into trouble one day as one showed up before the other had gone. A little uncomfortable for a bit but oh well. I have about 10 favorites that come over now and just hang out for 3-4 hours each and I try to schedule 3 per day. It is hard to beat the chiricanas. Anyway, was another wonderful trip. Nothing much on the new side there. With so many universities and schools there it is so very easy to pick up on the struggling students needing a bit of spending money. A friend of mine just smiles at the girls as he drives by, if the smile back he stops and offers them $20 to go with him. He gets lucky about 75% of the time. They in turn send him their friends as he gives them $5 each for each friend they send his way. I don't know how he can still walk after about a year of this. His black book looks more like an encyclopedia. Take care. Have fun.

I've been to DR a few times in the past. Sosua, Santo Domingo, etc. This is the only foreign country I've been to for mongering. After careful review of this post and the photo gallery. Panama may be for me.
I have a few questions What currency do they use in Panama? Should I do Panama City or "David"? Should I focus on Massage Parlors or independents? Are the women more expensive in Panama than DR?
I'm impressed with the photo gallery and these threads. Just need as much info about Panama as possible. I'm not lazy monger. So when in the Dr I rarely went to Massage Parlors. More meeting women during the day at salons, supermarkets, discos, bars, and calle.

Read Rodeos Summary and Trip reports in the PC section. That has about everything you need to know. If this is your first trip to Panama base yourself in Panama City. You might take a side trip to David if you have time.
The hotel scene is changing rapidly in PC Right now safest bet for a moderate priced hotel is Las Vegas suites across from Veneto.
Then ask specific questions.
I just spent a weekend in Bocas del Toro. It's a very nice place, but very, very gringoized, full of either young hippie types or middle aged travelers or older retirees. The place has many small hotels on the water and great beaches.
I haven't seen much about it on this forum, but I spotted some obvious working girls hanging out at the more popular bars (there aren't many). The locals there are dark-skinned, and I saw a few young local girls get very friendly with middle aged gringos. It's pretty easy to see if you look for well-dressed black girls hanging out alone in a bar full of white westerners in their scrubby beach clothes.
Not a choice destination for mongering (take a friend from PC) but it could be accomplished, it appears.

Check out the past posts by WANT TO PLAY. He has written some worthwhile info. on the non pro and semi pro scene in David. I believe that if you are going to be there for more than just a day or two, you can reap great benefits employing his methods.
Pretty girls are plentiful, and the girls from the neighboring areas should be able to help you out without the fear of their family seeing them entering your hotel or apartment. Chiriqui Province (in Western Panama) is known country wide, for having the most hot-blooded women! Take the chance, make the trip, follow the recipe, and enjoy the (soon to be) cream filled tarts that the city of David can offer.

Here are my early first impressions. The taxi driver that took me to the hotel set me up with a friend. Early twenties, below average looks, small sagging boobs, but otherwise not a bad body. Very competent in bed, gave me a good time. No rush, very friendly, 50$. Then she set me up with an 18 year old girl (who baby sits her 4 year old). Nice looking girl, except again small sagging boobs. Good service, friendly, 40 $. I am staying in down town, cheap nice hotel, no problems with bringing girls to room. I think all the hotels in this area basically will offer you the same thing.
I didn´t however have any luck chatting up any girls in the street or park and bringing them to the hotel. There are some nice girls out here, about the same as I saw in Panama city. This place is quite cheap, but now there is an increasing ¨gringö¨presence around here, especially about 30 minutes from here where the weather is cooler, so my guess is that the prices will not stay as cheap.
I have so far found the Panamanians to be very kind and friendly. I don´t think I´ll have the same kind of success here that the legendary ¨I want to play¨has had, but I can see how, given the right amount of time and contacts, he has amassed his harem.

I stayed at David for about 3-4 days. I did meet some girls. As I mentioned in the last post, I did a woman´s baby sitter, then I did both of them together, then I did the baby sitter´s best friend, then I did her younger sister. But it really sounds better on paper than it actually was. There are some good looking girls here, but I didn´t catch any while I was here. The girls that I did were all pleasant and gave me excellent service, however not one of them was the stunner or head turner type, and despite the fact that there is a big fair going on here right now, I still thought that there was not much to do in this area. This place is quite cheap however, and I guess that´s why there are a lot of gringos settling down here. I visited a place about 30 minutes from here, called Boquete, which is home to a lot of gringos. Again however, I wasn´t very impressed, to me it just looks like a ¨pueblito¨, but I guess if you like farming and things like that, then it´s your kind of place.
I would have to agree with the other posters who have recommended against visiting this area especially if you only have a few days.

I agree: the club is quite a ways out of town, but the club is funky with cheap beers and about 20 sexy Columbians available for $85/hour. At least 3 of them were quite sexy with curvy bodies. The rooms are bare, but had showers and sheets. We don't have anything like this in the US I know of, the place is a bit similar to Adelitas in Tijuana but with fewer girls and customers. My girl was getting her weekly medical checkup the next day.

O. K. Fellas, I just got back to Panama on the 3rd of Sept. This time I headed right to David, the capital city of the Western province called Chiriqui. David (pronounced Dah-veed), is a hot, dusty city that serves as a jumping off point for most Gringos going to the nearby mountain communities. I chose David for a different reason altogether. I needed to take advantage of that which I perceived I had been missing while living in that city (with my ex-wife) several years earlier. I arrived there on the 5th. I had placed a couple of ads in Panamanian newspapers before I left the states. Of course one of the ads did not run on time because some knucklehead made a mistake. Par for the course. You can check out my earlier posts to see what kind of ads I place. I only look for non-pros, and shun and tease the pros who call on my ads.
I arrived, in David, coming off what was almost a 3 month dry spell in the U. S. The phone started ringing even before I got to the city of David. I got there late in the evening, and just went to bed that first night. The next day I woke up and proclaimed "Let the parrrrrrty begin". Got a few numbers while out on the prowl, but mostly concentrated on bagging the willing subjects from the group of women that were calling ME. These women were calling simply because they really wanted to be in the presence of a beautiful 100% USDA Chorizo, whether they realized that fact or not when they placed their calls. If you had asked most of these women, directly, why they had called me, most would not have admitted to what I just said. Still there were others who truly believed that they were not so far "gone" as to call an old (43 y. o.) unknown foreigner just because they were in need of a hot beef injection. Under hypnosis, however, it would be a completely different story. 100% of the hypnotized subjects will confess that they had a hankering for some man meat, or had an itch that they themselves could not reach.
I will now cut to the chase, but also remind you that the girls from this province are known country wide for being hot and horny. I’ll give you my body count, and end with a short story to whet your appetite.
Here I am 11 days later with 9 conquests (yes. Everything that constitutes good sex for the average man), 1 near miss (pussy eating and sword swallowing, but none of the ol’ in-out in-out), and unbelievably. NO MISSES! Several repeat performances with some of the brightest stars. Has money exchanged hands? Sure. I paid one girl $12. 00, because she had to pay $4. 00 in taxi fees. Did I pay anyone else over $9. 00? . Of course not! Some freebees where I did not even pay for the taxi? Claro que si! A paradise for a cheap, overweight, pasty faced, balding, old guy.

I agree: the club is quite a ways out of town, but the club is funky with cheap beers and about 20 sexy Columbians available for $85/hour. At least 3 of them were quite sexy with curvy bodies. The rooms are bare, but had showers and sheets. We don't have anything like this in the US I know of, the place is a bit similar to Adelitas in Tijuana but with fewer girls and customers. My girl was getting her weekly medical checkup the next day.Esmerelda's is a strip club. The girls don't approach you, which can be good if you tire of the hassling at a lot of places, but is a bit off-putting to have to go to them.

Expensive compared to elsewhere in Latin America, but cheap compared to the States! It's a $2 cab ride from downtown. It would be about a 20 minute walk from the San Mateo neighborhood. The cover is $2, which includes 1 beer. I don't know how much drinks for the girls are.
The only other place in town is right down the road in a residential neighborhood, it's called Paraiso. This is more like a regular brothel. Smaller and more intimate. You have a drink at the bar and talk with whoever is around. When I was there, there were only a few girls, and they weren't that great looking. Same prices as Esmerelda's to go to a private room. It looks like the girls live there, I hope it's not indentured servitude.

Mocambo's is on the far side of Aguadulce when you are traveling north.
It will be on your left. If you pass a couple pushbuttons, you have gone too far. The building is far back from the street but the sign is fairly obvious.

go for the beach resorts, my recommendation is Playa Blanca, a lot more quiet than decameron, food is good, buffet type, they dont molest you around with the pool usage(at decameron, they wont let you swim until 10am! WTF!!)

Bocas is an absolutely beautiful place but no, there's not a lot of action. Since you are bringing your own lady it won't be a problem. Although, I have to been to Bocas 4 or 5 times and have always managed to find a chica interested in a STL.
Any of the hotels on the strip I think you will find satisfactory. It's a very tiny island but there are many good restaurants and some decent, laid-back bars. NOT much to do on the main island during the day as the main strip is quite small. I recommend hiring a boat to bring you to some of the outlying beaches. Red Frog is a cool beach located in a national park with a lively outdoor bar and restaurant. Also, for a very nice, romantic, secluded beach to take your lady I recommend Starfish Beach. Any water taxi will know it.

For all ISG members who have considered the Chiriqui province of Panama, David being the main city: it is true that David is NOT a mecca of p4p like Medellin or Rio, it's not even as bountiful as PC, however for fellow mongers who are interested in the pursuit of some EXCELLENT non-pro or semi-pro action, it is a great place.
I have been traveling to Panama and specifically David for the past 7 years and look forward to returning each time. The province of Chiriqui is famous in Panama for having the most beautiful, hot-blooded women. Every time I mention that I am traveling to David while in PC, EVERY Panamanian male gets a big, shit-eating grin, their eyes get as big as saucers and they ALL say something to the effect of "ay, chiricanas! " I swear, they almost are drooling! LOL
I will say that it is necessary to know at least a little spanish but a mastery of the language is not necessary. There are many young chicas that are more than willing to overlook any language deficiencies just to hook up with a gringo. Of course most will want something in return but isn't that the norm? I swear, these girls must have invented the term "GFE. " And it is not expensive, going to a nice dinner, a movie, a club or a daytrip to the beach goes a LONG way with these chicas.
There are also pros available here just not on as grand a scale. There are two brothels in town and several more at the Costa Rican border, "la frontera. " Every time I go back it seems that the selection is different. Sometimes there will be several 7-8 range girls and other times no. The girls on the CR side of the border town are usually better with there usually being several 8's and 9's. Find any young taxi driver in town and they will probably know a young chica who moonlights on the side and you can find some VERY pretty young chicas. There are some pros that hang out in "gringo bars" as well but they tend to want more money. Yes it IS still possible to find a young, semi-pro that will be happy with $20 ST but I prefer to find the young women that want to be your "girlfriend" for the duration of your stay. They treat you better in bed and probably wind up being cheaper in the long run. If you want to have the non-pro "girlfriend" thing then you will need to have at least a working knowledge of the spanish language.
I will attach a few pics of one of my "gf's. " She worked in one of the casinos and after I had been in there several times and got to know some of the people working there, she was very happy to be my girlfriend. Never asked for a dime. The last is of a girl that worked as a nanny for my father, I waited until she turned 18 to satisfy her crush.

I was tired and needing rest. So I checked in. Wanted a beer and stopped in the hotel bar and there were 5 or 6 working girls. Every hour or so another girl came or left. I am planning on attending an immersion school in Panama. I checked the website for this school in Boguete (forgot the name of the school).
It sounded good especially with the cooler weather to PC.
As I was reading, I saw how much work it is to get there. You fly from PC to David and then take a cab to Boq. That would not have been so bad with what the school has to offer but there just isn't anything there to do (besides study).
I guess I will stick with PC for now as I continue to do research. I have two schools in mind in PC. I was planning on doing 2 weeks first and if I like Panama, I would do a 3 month stint.
If I go with PC to study, I think I will fly to David on my weekend off. It sounds like a place to check out. I am hoping to report back local info wherever I attend school. I did an immersion school in Guadalajara years ago and it was fun and you get to meet locals who take you places, tourist do not know of.
I love Guad., its too bad Mexico is experiencing so much problems, I would go back in a heartbeat. I did visit SJ,CR (I posted a report) and I liked it. I just saw a travel show on Panama (2010) and it looks like its happening.
If anyone have any suggestions on where to go to school, let me know. I would consider David but I don't know if they have a school there, I will check.
The language school in Boquete is called Habla Ya. It is professionally run and instruction is excellent. Boquete is full of gringos so it will not be cheap. They have a website.
There is little nightlife in Boquete. For that you have to go 40 km down the road to David where there are casinos, discos and a couple of *****houses; one called Esmeralda and a dump called Paraiso.
Both of these are very safe. David is at sea level and is the hottest city in Central America. Boquete is a sleepy town of 20k and sits at an altitude of 4, 000 ft. Very comfortable.
Just back from an evening of 'recon' work here in David. As there seems to be a bit of a lack of current info I thought I'd give it my best. I was lucky enough to hook up with a good taxista, who was kind enough to stay with me, off and on, all evening. The man certainly knew his city well, but doesn't EVERY good taxi driver?
So here's what's currently available:
La Esmeralda. As reported elsewhere on this thread, still probably your best option. Rate is 20 for 15 min in your private room, very similar to La Gruta Azul or La Gloria in PC if you are familiar with those fine establishments, but a bit cheaper. The ladies are all Columbianas and several were good enough to work the floor at El Veneto IMHO. But there were a couple of 'vacas' here as well. Biggest problem was the chica to hombre ratio was about 4 to 1. Saw the largest pair of artificial ass cheeks I've ever encountered here, and on a surprisingly nice looking 24 year old chica. Guess the Panamanian men like it when 'baby's got back' too.
Paraiso (Paradise). Will try to get by there tomorrow nite for an in-depth FR. My cabbie says very similar to La Esmeralda.
Volcancito. Cabbie said this place is even cheaper, but in a sketchy neighborhood and lower quality chicas.
SW's. They are here (south of downtown) if that's your thing. Was quoted 20 by one I would not touch with YOUR the*ick!
The best route to go is find a cabbie, treat him right, and turn him into your 'wing man' of sorts. Spanish always helps, cabs are cheap ($2 from downtown to La Esmaralda for example). Give him an extra buck or two and he'll come right back to which ever bar you want, and at the time you want.

OK, sometimes when working on finding chicas in less well traveled areas like this you really just end up TOFTT as the options are so limited. Sadly, it's quite clear that is the case here. Tonite, as promised, my cabbie and guide to the 'underworld' in David took me to El Paraiso. When we got there the bar was almost empty and only one rather low-life looking mujare was lurking around. I passed.
We also Found out my other option, Volcancito, closed at midnite, and my taxista was loathe to leave me in that sketchy neighborhood had it been open, so it was back to La Esmaralda. For the purposes of this board, it's really the only true monger option in town. But again, as it was last noted, even it was just too much of a sausage fest for my tastes.
We did do some SW trolling as well, but that was extremely limited once again.
And as if that is not enough, the accursed 'Carrot Law' with bars closing at 2 AM on weekdays is enforced here as well. All of Panama now goes to bed early.
Esmaralda is 'OK' and it appears to be pretty much the entire enchilada here in Dacid when it comes to P4P, but I'm going to give it one more try tomorrow nite before I move on. Stay tuned.

A good bar is "Pool Bar" on the two way street a block away from the bus station. 20 pool tables, air conditioned, $1 Balboa beers plus nightly specials. Watched the Boston-Miami game there last night. Lots of cute young ladies in there, although I saw no signs that any of them were on the program. Maybe later. The Hotel Madrid, just down the street from the bar, was a good value at $33. Strong AC, free computers, screens on the windows, good bathroom, lots of cable TV channels. No hot water but I can't imagine wanting to take a hot shower when the whole town is basically a sauna. In fact all the bathrooms here seem to have only a single faucet.
If you go from PC to David on the bus, I would recommend you buy two seats because the seats are very narrow. The price is $15. 25 and the trip takes seven hours, including a 35 minute "lunch" stop in Santiago at a gross, boiling hot restaurant at which I would not eat for free. Keep in mind they say you can't eat on the bus. I did, but discreetly. Don't plan on bringing on Kentucky Fried Chicken or anything. I read and heard a lot about how they cranked the AC up to the max (although most of this info pertained to the night bus) and how you should bring a sweater. That certainly was not my experience; it was way too hot.

To each his own but I do not drive in third world countries. Just not worth the risk. David is very similar to hell in my opinion and I would not spend one minute more than necessary there. The climate is unbearable to me.
i was here for 8 days and it took me 5 to find hookers. they are in bar nacionál which is on the street behind the plaza. go out the romero supermarket and turn right and it is on your right in the next block. any women in here by themselves can be assumed to be working. this place could be dangerous for rookies and you need spanish. this is the indian or indigenous local bar and there are lots of fights there. first gal turned out to be ****, second had no documento. third one i talked to i took to my room for $25. she was very beautiful if you like the indigenous look. had no experience and like many indigenous women, would not do oral sex and thought it was a perversion. beers are $1 here.

Was in Esmeralda last night. $3 admission, $1 beers, $22 for room and chica for 15 minutes. No economies of scale, meaning half an hour was $44. Music was incredibly loud. Strippers got fully naked and one walked around the place afterwards. Not many chicas. Went with one from Bogotá, Alejandra. Bolt ons, which I hate, no kissing, everything covered. Boquete: This is not really a reasonable review of Boquete. However, I did a day trip to Boquete. Someone on here had mentioned Bar Nacional. I visited. But it was early afternoon. They looked like indigenous guys that were there. Like I said, it's not a reasonable review. I'd imagine that if any girls do work out of there, they will be there late at night. Boquete is quite small so I can't imagine a whole lot going on.
David: Only aware of the one place. La Esmeralda. It's quite a ways out of town. It's $3. 50 in a taxi from town and in the early hours, I was charged $5 back (staying in an airbnb near the terminal). Which is fair enough. I got there just before 9 pm. Things were slow. It was very dark and not much in the way of atmosphere. Things got a bit busier later and they also started to strip at around 10. A few of the girls would come down from the stage and do a 'private dance' for a tip. But that only happened for a few times in the middle of the night.
The girls are all Colombian. They're all tall, well built girls. They're well experienced from the strip routine and in all other ways. . so much so that they're pretty clinical and cold. Given all the riding she had been doing (I stayed for the whole of the night and the girls were busy. All of them), I assumed she'd be dry but she was wet. I ploughed the ass off her and got my rocks off. I don't know exactly what $25 dollars meant in terms of time. I was there last November. It's almost impossible to find P4 P there for tourists but it does seem to exist amongst the locals. There is nothing like Club Havana.
Though, you may want to ask some of the local guys about chicas. I went to this outdoor bar, which I think is called the Wreck or something similar. It hangs over the water with an outdoor porch over the water and a garden area as you enter. They had a DJ playing tunes the night I was there. When I entered there were two hot local girls in there, or at least Panamanian, but they met some guys who appeared to be local dudes. Just had a feeling these girls were on the take. Most of the local chicks in there though were fat and unattractive but on occasion you can stumble on a nice looking tourist. Many years ago, I was in this same outdoor club and met a fresh Columbia hooker who had just been boated over from Colombia earlier that day. Not sure if that still goes on or not. But she came back to my hotel for $40 for a short time romp. Might have been my first P4 P experience ever.
It was off season this mid November so pretty dead overall for night life, which did not help. I doubt if I will ever go there again. The infrastructure has not improved one bit since 12 year years ago when I first visited but the hotel and food prices are way up though the hotels along the water generally suck, cost too much, and are run down. I am posting this on the PTY thread as well as the other areas thread. I will be in BDT 4/25 - 4/28 then back to PTY 4/28 - 4/30. I will find out on my own but some advance intel would be awesome. Are there any bars / restaurants remotely close to Cafe Habanos in BDT. Any night life, any mongering places, MPS etc. Any help would be awesome.

Transportation: Took a United flight from MSY to IAH to PTY. Those red eye flight to kill me but I actually got a good nights sleep the night before. No issues with the flights going or coming. Effing UA! It was cheaper for me to drive to New Orleans take the redeye to IAH and then fly to PTY than it was to take the Direct nonstop flight from IAH to PTY. Cheaper flight, 2 hrs less driving, I will never understand UA's logic. Once I got to PTY, I had a friend waiting for me at the airport to drive me to the Allbrook mall airport for $30. Got there in plenty of time, took the one hour commuter from PAN to Bocas del Toro airport on the island. Everything went very smooth, except you cannot check in on line with Air Panama. You have to check in an hour before the flight at the airport. At least that's what I was told on the phone when I called the day before I left the US. One thing I absolutely hate about Panama City is you have to go through double screening. When connecting through PTY to the MDE, we have to be rescreened at the gate. When I left from PTY this past trip, I went through initial screening, went to the gate and was screened again. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe somebody can tell me why. I don't understand if you're coming in from another flight, you should be in a sterile corridor but they don't see it that way. Anyway, I brought my CO2 canister PFD with me and the agent at initial screening made me take the cartridge out and it deployed filling up the PFD. I was effing pissed off. If these clowns have not seen it, it doesn't get through. I have brought it on domestic flights as well as thru PTY before to Columbia and never had an issue. It simply amazes me that these guys do not know the rules they are trying to enforce. There must be a rule if you haven't seen it before then it didn't get through. And I know what you all are thinking. It is on TSA's website that you can bring one Cartridge in the PFD and a spare cartridge.
Lodging:
Stayed at Bocas Paradise Hotel in BDT. Right smack dab in the middle of town, water taxi depot's on either side of the hotel. Adequate enough hotel for about $70 per night. It had everything I needed, hot water, cold air conditioner, no problem with a Favorita coming to visit on the Friday night. I heard some bad reviews about the noise from the disco to doors down to the left of the entrance of the hotel. So I requested and was given a room on the opposite side of that. The only time I heard the noise from the disco was when I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. So I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was included and it was adequate as well, nothing fancy. Coffee available starting about 6:15 AM. Less than five minutes, $2 taxi ride away from the airport. When I went back to PTY, I stayed in an Airbnb owned by Irving, which was less than a 5 min walk to Caf Habanos. Very nice apartment in the Bancario district, hot water, cold air, a full kitchen, W&the. He even has refrigerator stocked with beer and bottled water for you at a price of course. I did not indulge in this but thought it was a nice touch. Chica friendly, night and day. I highly recommend it, I think $90 a day. 24 hour security who did not seem too friendly but barely lifted their head when I brought girls back.
Currency: They use US dollars in coins so there is no exchange rate to worry about. They also have the equivalent of our 50 Cent piece, quarter, dime, nickel and penny.
Fishing: if you're going to PAN just for the fishing, my recommendation is got to go to the Pacific side. All I caught day 1 was king mackerel which laid in the bottom of the boat and wasted while we were fishing. I landed nine the first day which was fun as at least I was catching. We stopped on some island to clean the macro on the way back in to BDT, and the meat on most of them had turned to mush as there was no ice chest on the boat. The boat was a water taxi converted into a trolling fishing boat. The first thing I asked the captain when I got on day 1 was "are you planning on catching fish today?" he said "yes why?" I asked where is the ice chest & he responded no we don't need one. Well I guess you don't if you don't want to eat the fish to catch. Anyway on day 2 the other captain had a small ice chest which was adequate for the one red snapper I caught while trolling, and a king fish, which I had the Cptn clean and I took those two fish to a restaurant and had them cook them for me and the Favorita that night. Very very good. On day 2 we landed 3 king mackerel, one Spanish mackerel the king fish and the red snapper. Not a lot of action but steady. I went through an outfit called Gambit Tours to line up the captains. Be careful of these guys. They are shysters probably just like everybody else down there. They told me that I was paying for a full day fishing and they told the captain on the first day that I just paid for a 1/2 day of fishing. When the captain on day 1 told me he was ready to go back at noon I asked him why, and he told me they told him it was only a half a day. I told him well we have a problem now because they told me a full day. Anyway I convinced him to fish for another couple hours and I was fine after that as all we were catching was king mackerel.
Food:
BDT- the first night in BDT I ate a hamburger restaurant next to the hotel called Brothers. Very good hamburger, very good service, highly recommended. Saturday night brought the fish to a little Artsy restaurant on the western end of the main street called BocArt. They prepared the fish for us, fried pargo Rojo and grilled the king fish. The charges $10 per fish, not really a bargain but whatever. It was good enough, a nice touch bringing your own fish to the market.
PTY- Ate at Caf Beruit close to Habanos & it did not disappoint. The Mixto Shawarma was awesome as usual. I even got one to go for the plane ride back home and it was awesome. Five star recommendation for the little Shawarma station on the side closest to Caf Habanos.
Monday night took a cab to the seafood market. Ate a whole fraud Corvina I think is what they called it. And it was awesome for $12. Again I highly recommend a visit to the seafood market and a whole fried fish for lunch or dinner. Well worth it!
Chicas:
BDT. I met a little Creole local Thursday afternoon on the street, got her phone number and she came over Fri afternoon for a pretty good $50 massage and HJ finish Friday after fishing. I drink so many beers it was hard to finish. My Favorita showed up Saturday afternoon after I was done fishing and stayed till Sunday about noon so $150 for TLN and three pops. Best to BYO in BDT because the P4 P is extremely weak or non-existent.
PTY. I mostly played the point and click game and had a couple of good sessions and a couple of bad sessions. As usual some of these girls use 5 yo photos for their Panescorts profile. Sunday and Monday night Caf Habano's started producing about nine to 9:30 PM. There were as many 8, 9's and 10's as you could handle, lots of spinners. Most of the girls were absolutely beautiful, very pretty in the face. Some pork chops but like I said, a lot of spinners. Pulled one Sunday night brought her back to the condo for $100. Good session, Not great but good. Monday daytime had three sessions with the point and click girls so I was spent. I went to Habanos but did not pull a girl. I just went window shopping. I think next trip I will just stick with her Habanos but I love the daytime game so we will see.
Take-home message is if you were going to BDT for fishing or Chicas, go somewhere else! BDT is full of "muchileros", what I consider hippie trash who are shirking their responsibilities in life. They don't have jobs, most have a Rasta hair, half of them don't have shoes, they can't tell you when they took their last shower, most of them beg, but they all have money for weed and drinks and stay up till 4 or 5 in the morning partying. I doubt I will ever be back to BDT and it will be a while before I go back to the PTY.

Find any young taxi driver in town and they will probably know a young chica who moonlights on the side and you can find some VERY pretty young chicas. There are some pros that hang out in "gringo bars" as well but they tend to want more money. Yes it IS still possible to find a young, semi-pro that will be happy with $20 ST but I prefer to find the young women that want to be your "girlfriend" for the duration of your stay. They treat you better in bed and probably wind up being cheaper in the long run. If you want to have the non-pro "girlfriend" thing then you will need to have at least a working knowledge of the spanish language.
I will attach a few pics of one of my "gf's. " She worked in one of the casinos and after I had been in there several times and got to know some of the people working there, she was very happy to be my girlfriend. Never asked for a dime. The last is of a girl that worked as a nanny for my father, I waited until she turned 18 to satisfy her crush.Sounds like my kind of fun but I'll have only a bit over a week in Panama total. May visit a beach town or Boca for a short time, but ok if I don't get to them. So it would be nice to get a "local" who can show me around time and let me practice Spanish, among other things.
Do I have to try different drivers. I'm very picky (pretty face spinners), but don't want to run up crazy cab fares!
