Especially at this time of the year, you won't find anything but the most desperate in the hours of the early afternoon. A lot are sleeping.

You may run into the lone SW during rush-hour (3-6) but more likely than not, regulars will pick up their regular ladies when they get off work.

Visited your fair city NY's eve. Got into town at 6pm and cruised the low, took a while to find someone do-able. Slim pickens with the weather and NY's I guess.

Hey westex here's a few places for you.

Accupointe in Burnaby near Metrotown 4995 Kingsway beside a Chevron gas station. $40-60 cdn for massage then $120 for fullservice they will ask more so you don't have more they might ask to see wallet so be prepared. Also Lucy is the one to get Chinese nice rack. There are a few others in Burnaby but price may vary greatly.

If in Richmond go to Swan lake 4651 Garden city rd same price as Accupointe. My friend always gets full service for $100. Always haggle, you rarely get better service just because you pay more.

I decided to make a cruise to good old Vancouver B.C. I went to the mid track first and there were lots of cuties out, but I didnt want to settle until I went to low track and boy am i glad. I met up with Jackie a very cute asian girl and I recieved a very good bbbj for $20can. Then it was off to E. Member #1369...in my mind, "...near the low track..." means anyplace I can drive to in less than 5 minutes.

In addition to ones on Uncirc's site, a couple of hotel suggestions that I've used:

City Centre Motor Inn on Main Street right before you get to Kingsway. About $35 - 45 CDN. About 1.25 miles from the low track. If you are heading out of Vancouver on Main Street, it is just past the McDonald's on the same side of the road.

Biltmore Hotel on Kingsway. It's just a few more blocks to this place. $59 CDN per night and they have a sleazy nightclub downstairs that I have personally mongered out of. Whether you're staying there or not, if it's a slow night on the street, you may want to drop by this place to see if there are any possibililties.

The reason I like both these places is that they are close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to have no heat from LE. Also, your chances of being a victim of some other crime is much lower since you're not at a motel on the Hastings main drag.

The Motor Inn is probably preferable because of price, and because the entrance to your room is outside, meaning you don't have to walk past management multiple times if you come and go with different people in one evening.

Hey guys,

It's been awhile since I last posted.

Cruised Sunday night (Jan 18) / Monday morning (Jan 19) between 12:30am and 1:30am. Just a quick jaunt to check out the sparse Broadway strip. Saw three at Broadway & Fraser, looked to be low-to-mid track fare that may have wandered up, then nothing all the way along to Main. Couldn't find the aforementioned Sarah and should've just packed it in but the Little Guy had other ideas.

Settled on Jada, 40-ish, approx. 5'5", native, camped out at the bus stop at either Glen Dr. or Windsor St. (can't remember which one). Agreed on a green for the deed but after five minutes she started prodding me on and tugging instead of sucking. And she was squeezing the life out of the Little Guy! (tugging was bad enough - he doesn't respond to anyone but me when doing that). Then she cut everything short and said "my time was up" without getting me over the edge. This is a bit old but I thought I should throw it out there. Cruised on New Year's Eve and picked up a girl at the 7-11 at Kingsway & Joyce. 18-ish, native, pink jacket. Is funny because most of the posts are low track and cruising. I was in a downtown hotel without a car and only had one evening. I called a couple of "Inclusive" places and was about $$CAN. Ok, my luck is still SHITE. Cruised everywhere tonight, 11:30pm-2:30am. Finally settled on Jennifer, found on Broadway near intersection at Kingsway across from Kingsgate Mall. She was in the middle of the first "half" and I figured she could put a big bite into the Little Guy if I caused anymore hassle, so I told her to finish up and got the hell out of there.

I don't treat these girls like crap and don't initiate any hostility at anytime during the get-together. So why do these girls keep screwing me over??? If anyone has the phone number of a regular they would like to share with me, please message me. Three straight experiences I've been ripped off in one way or another, when all I want is to establish a regular that I can call up with no attitude, no strings-attached, and have some sort of mutual respect between the two of us.

If it matters, I prefer young over old, cute & blond over anything else. Better luck next time I hope.

Having stayed at several of the upscale hotels (Four Seasons, Delta Pinnacle, Georgian, Pan Pacific), I have noticed no SP activity in their lounges or bars. I have noticed that they seem to look the other way if you bring provider(s) to your room or suite.

Maybe the fact that you are paying through the nose for your stay grants you a certain amount of privacy, and discretion from them.

Impressions - 1

For the first time tonight, I had enough time to drive a bit downtown. Last time -- 3 to 4 years ago -- I did spend a few months in this town. I remembered Cordova St, Hasting, and around the area. I had picked a girl once. Native. One arm. Very sweet. But doing it in the car was not my cup of the. I liked it longer in a more comfortable environment. Eventually I was able to hook up with a sweetheart and stuck with her for the duration of my stay. I had met her through an agency the first time and got her number then. We bypassed the agency after that. Once in a while, I was also visiting a lady in Richmond (Layia). More expensive but lovely. I don't know how to reach them now.

So here I am again, driving around and checking the area. It was early, between 7 and 8 -- and only a few girls were there. I saw a cop car parked on the street. And later, a nondescript cop car stopped and inspected another car. So I did not feel to good about the vibes and I was about to leave when a tall Native waved at me. I stopped and offered her a ride. Her name was Roxanne. A bit neurotic. She was probably on something. But she was sweet and we drove around for a while. We stopped to find her cigarettes at a couple of places. Finally, she agreed to blow me while I was driving. I dropped my pants and she took care of me while we were driving around. I stopped somewhere and she continued for a little while. I had enough and returned her where I had met her. $40 + cigarettes.

Having to stay in the car bothered me. It was not comfortable and the girl just wanted to move on. I don't blame her. I will have to find an alternative to that for sure. If any of you have a suggestion, please PM me. If you know somebody you think could use 3 to 4 sessions a week for the next 3 months, I would would be a good client for her. Please, help.

In any case. I will continue to report my impressions as they come by during that trip. Who knows, it might get interesting!

Thanks to one member of this board-- Brother Oberon -- I was able to connect with Sapphire tonight. She was a little older that I am used to have but she had a good heart. I did spend 2 hours with her at her place. Atmosphere was very pleasant with an impeccable choice of music.

Parking was hard to find around Pacific and I had to drive around for many minutes before finding a spot 3 blocks away from her tall building. And I think I was lucky.

Just one comment for you. The two girls at Royal Bank on Kingsway are both ROB. I had this terrible experience with the Fijian hooker when I visited your fine city last month. I was staying at the hotel across Safeway, and one night I went out for a drive. Saw these two girls standing on just one block east to 7-11. On our way to the hotel, we saw unmarked LE on the north side of the street, and she told me she had " inside trading " with a cop so she can do whatever she wants here ( don't know if it's BS but it would be a shame if it's true). Anyway, as soon as we got to the hotel room. I gave her the donation, and things started going downhill. She told me one brown is for bj only, and if I wanted FS, it was another brown. Last time I was in rush and someone was staring me all the time when I was typing so I apologize for not being able to organize the report well. But to Un_Circumised, yes I was talking about Kingsway in Vancouver. The Fijian chick is about 5'4 to 5'6 tall, slim and has got long hair. One extraordinary thing happened. While I was still looking for the perfect date for the next few months, I ended up calling a sweet lady after looking at her photo on a site. I booked a session over the net with her. When I came to her place, the door opened. I got in, the door closed and I looked at her. Very pretty girl, as pretty as her photo. Silky hair, radiant smile and...and something vaguely familiar. It took me a few seconds to confirm the first impression: she was the same lady I had seen a few years ago. Amazing. I have not posted for a while. I thought I would check in. I have been hitting the mid and low tracks fairly regularly in the last month and I have seem to have the best luck on the low and on E. Broadway. I went up on Valentines night "I am from Seattle" and there wasnt much until midnight. I settled on 2 different girls, each one I would consider a solid 7 by Vancouver standards and a solid 10 by Seattle standards, one cost me $40can. and the other cost $50can. Started off in surrey, drove along King George hwy from 64th to 108th and found absolutely nothing. I think I might have passed a few ugly chicks, but it wasn't even worth slowing down. Good to be back on the wet coast after being stuck in a hole of a town in the north for 8 months. Thought I would check out the street scene so headed out last night for a couple of hours. Reading the reports here it seems to be hit or miss. From 8 months ago when I cruised at least twice a week the numbers have gone down. The girls also seem to have spread out into more areas.

I was out from about 10:30 pm to just before 1:00 am. Mid and low track was actually fairly busy - not many cruisers, but quite a few girls. Where the hell did all the skirts go. It was a half decent night but most were out in baggy pants and jackets. Heck, the view is part of the fun of cruising. Left mid and headed up to the Broadway track where there were about 3 girls. Then headed up Kingsway. This area is dead compared to 8 months ago when I left. Busiest part with about 6 girls was from Fraser to Victoria. East of Victoria there was nothing but LE.

Did a couple of more loops through lo, mid, Broadway and Kingway, but didn't see anything that I wanted to pick up. Heading home to Richmond down Knight St. when I spotted a girl at the corner of Knight and 41st. Went around the block and she was walking slowly west on 41st. Around the block again and definitely knew she was a SW. Unfortunately she was getting picked up as I swung around to make the pickup.

New West / Burnaby is confusing at that part... Kingsway turns into 12th avenue, but as it crosses 10th *street*. There's a seven eleven on 12th avenue just south of the intersection, so I'm guessing Timmy means 8th street and 12th avenue in New West. I lived near the area about four years ago and there was a total hottie that parked her cute little butt in that neighborhood for almost a year. Interesting observation that I have made on the various reports from different cities. For example, this forum for Vancouver concentrates almost exclusively on street walkers. The forum for Sydney Australia however concentrates almost exclusively on Asian massage parlors - rub and tug. Cruised last night from 3 AM until 5.30 AM. The LE seemed to be out in full force and the action was very limited.

Kingsway in Vancouver was rather empty, if you ignore the regular 2 junkies that i'd not touch even if paid for it.

I saw some SW on Broadway but to be honest, I was not sure if they were gals or TS. In particular I'm talking about a tall one, wearing tights and sexy pumps who was standing at a close to Knight street.

On the mid track I really got frustrated. At around 4 AM I noticed a full budied blonde gal, cute face etc. I circled around twice but to my frustration someone picked her up just when I was ready to make my move. About 45 minutes later I was her again but a police car prevented me to pick her up and when I drove back she was gone. If anybody picked her up can you please comment on the experience.

One disturbing aspect is the fact that all kind of junkies posing themselves as wannabe pimps are flocking around the SW and this is intself makes the act of picking them up entirely unpleasant in my opinion.

I had occasion to pay a visit to your fine city over the past weekend. So much better than Seattle. I apologize in advance for the long post.

After some misadventures with customs, I checked into one of my favorite hotels around 2PM. I took a cruise through the lo-track and didn't see a lot that I liked around 2:30. I like 'em skinny, saw one tall 5'9" with a nice body, but from the neck up, I had questions about gender so I passed.

Needed to go out to Metrotown, so took Kingsway. That time of day, I saw maybe one possibility, but nothing definite.

Late Night, keep in mind that I haven't been to BC since last November (due to problems at the border), but here is my current assessment: The entire length of Kingsway is a possibility, but the better (and more expensive) ho's favor the Vancouver part of the strip (northwest of Boundary Rd). The hot spots move around over time, and other johns might be able to tell you where they are now. As for Burnaby, there has been some activity in the last year around Kingsway & Inman Ave, but most of the ho's are beyond the Metrotown complex--and the further southeast you go, the more you're likely to see. I've never picked up there, but from what I've seen in recent years the bulk of SWs in Burnaby are not high-track quality. Kingsway turns into 12th St at the New Westminster city limits, and the stroll continues down to the bottom of the hill (around Queens Ave). I've never seen a lot of ho's on 12th, and they tend to favor the upper part of the hill (probably so they can quickly cross into Burnaby if LE gets too repressive). Also note that there is another major street scene across the river in Surrey (a 10 to 15-minute drive from New Westminster when the traffic is light), and I'll just refer you to my site for the strolls there. It's my experience that you can drive from anywhere on the Burnaby part of Kingsway to any stroll in Vancouver within a half hour or so when the traffic isn't heavy. As for the rest of your questions, I'll defer to others who are probably more expert on rates, picking up on foot, etc.

Well, the weekend came and went all too quickly and there were surprises on my hunting trip to Surrey.

This was to be the big weekend away from home with only sex on the brain. I left Kent right on time for the drive north to Surrey, B.C. Canada. The trip was uneventful and the border crossing was smooth with only a 4-minute delay at the truck crossing. I had a jacket, 6 can cooler and a small overnight bag all in sight in the back of the station wagon. Once into the target zone I familiarized myself with the current and old reported strolls. I made the rounds three times between 4 and 7 PM Saturday evening. I saw activity in 3 main areas and they were all WSW’s and very nice looking but did not pick anyone up. One I almost picked up was a late 20 ish or early 30 ish WSW wearing an all white outfit. Looked like a gym/exercise outfit and she carried a gym bag by the look of it. She passed right in front of me going across the cross walk and did look at me and smile but not “The Smile”. I went around the block and as I came around 2 guys walked up to her and they said a few words and started walking with her. She looked at me again but made no sign that she wanted me to do anything. A babe at 5’8”, shoulder length ash blond hair and around 120 lbs. I had booked a room at Howard Johnson’s and needed darkness to bring a date there. Had a nice room about midway down the row of suites with only one other car on that side of the building. So I ate supper, drove around getting to know the areas better so I would not become lost after dark. As the sun was going down about 8 ish I took my Vitamin V and began a methodical tour of the strolls. I saw several in the area of 120th and 96th street, but by the time I figured out that the side streets were cal du sacs and got back to where I had seen them they were gone. I strolled on down to 128th and 96th where I saw a WSW crossing the street wearing a dark pair of Pants and a white skin tight top molded to 36/38 D’s and the face of an angel. So I wheeled thru the strip mall and back around to where I thought she would be and a car was just leaving!! Aarrggg. I kept going on to the next area I has scoped out.

Went back down 96th to King George Hwy and headed towards Surrey City Center. My room was in that same area. As I came into that area I saw 3 nice looking females walk out of a side street so I turned up that street to turn around and follow them. The first thing I saw were 10 or 12 LE cars parked all around that end of the block. Just my luck to have stumbled upon the Police station. It surprised me because it was within a 4-block area that was listed as one of the strolls. Nice and easy does it and came out 2 blocks away and saw an SW turn down 108th. I went down 108th and looked her over and she looked good but I like to check out the area before I make any moves so I drove around and finally stopped to pick up a blond, 5’6 and about 100 lbs with more wrinkles than a piece of used tinfoil. She was old enough to be my wife!! As I was trying to get rid of her she insisted I drive her away from there because she said the LE were hitting that are hard trying to clean out the SW’s. She wanted 10 dollars to get lost but got around 4$ spare change. So, with that knowledge I drove around the 108th, 132nd, and W. Whalley ring road area again and guess what I found? 2 LE cars and a paddy wagon all parked in a row near Bolivar and W. Whalley. Just 3 blocks from their station house and there were SW’s walking all around the area. In a 2 hour period I saw more than 20 different WSW’s and could not pick up one!! Besides those 3 vehicles there were at least 2 plain vehicles and I know this because I saw them with their in the grill lights going and rear tail blinking lights on. One was taking a WSW into custody and once with a car pulled over. So I beat the system by being very careful and figuring out the lay of the land/LE and some luck. I did finally pick up a blond near King George and 104th. She was 5’7, blond with 36 D’s and around 110 lbs. Nice face but I soon discovered she was not as nice as one would like. She talked very fast and every few seconds she would jerk like she had the chills. She asked for $1 Canadian and I gave her .8 before the whole picture unfolded over the next hour and a half. We went to Ho Jo’s to play. One thing lead to another and I asked her what drug she was on withdrawal from which it looked more and more like the case. Oh no, I am on depression medication because of the loss of my kids bla bla. She made a phone call and 10 minutes later her “medication” arrived on the street behind Ho Jo’s. How do I get into these bizarre cases!! She took a shower, we had sex, and I dropper her back where I got her but by this time she is nearly incoherent and apologizing for not being the date I deserved. No tip and I asked for no digits. Imagine that! Looks 6, service 5 off her rocker 10!

Cruised the 3 above mentioned areas again even though it was 11PM. Both the areas on 96th Ave were quiet and a fourth trip going right by the LE presence confirmed that at 11:30 they were still there and there were still a couple of WSW’s walking the target area. I had the sudden horrible urge to wave at the LE as I went by the paddy wagon but by sheer force of will power I did not! I really had to wonder if those still there were sex workers or LE workers. Since Vitamin V’s effects were almost gone I decided to call it a night. The plan had been to try for 3 conquests that night. I guess I got off lucky with just one and no arrest.

Send the word that while those 3 areas are still active it would be smart to avoid the area inside of the 104th, 132nd, and King George Highway triangle. Inside that triangle also are two tall high rise buildings and while there were indications of activity around the perimeter they also had the big black limos and other high class vehicles at the curb and what looked like security personnel walking around the area as well. One thing I did see each time I drove thru that triangle was that several of the ladies would immediately start talking on their cell phones. I suspected they were LE keeping in contact with their paddy wagon forces and I am glad I don’t pick up talking phones. ;-) They also did not make eye contact so that I would have to stop and call them over so they could bust me. Not!

Sunday I ran thru the areas around 8:30 AM on the way out of town and no clue of the past evenings games were in evidence. I spent a total of 1.5 Canadian not including 300 miles on the car at 26 mpg. Despite the obvious tension involved in this kind of trip I had fun and it might be fun to try it another time maybe with a friend/two cars and a different location.

The trip back across the border was slow and I had to show 2 kinds of ID but they could see my overnight bag and a 6 pack cooler in the back of the station wagon and did not search me like they did others in front of me.

Web Builder, you should definitely check out Vancouver in a future BC trip because LE may be more focused on real crime--though I have been pulled over and harassed in Vancouver a few times while cruising (both by unmarked vice goons and uniformed cops in marked squad cars), but it was clearly just a bullshit intimidation technique. I think I understand where you saw activity with one exception: Did you see anything between 104 Ave, 108 Ave, W Whalley Ring Rd (134 St), 132 St? I did not wonder into the area past 108 headed towards 104th. I see now there is a park on the map and I for some reason did not think to cruise thru that area. I also note there is a transit stop and that would have to be a natural place to try the hunt!! Looking back on it now it seems kind of dumb to have not gone thru there at least once!! Well, we live and learn. It's the excitement of the hunt that gets the blood circulating and not whether you bag the limit or not. (I hope!)

I cruised the low track area last weekend and found it to be heavy with LE on both days so I did not even attempt to pick up any of the very few SW that were out as I had a brief encounter with LE a few weeks back and would rather not get too familiar with them for obvious reasons as they seem very aggressive towards anyone in the sex trade area at the moment,so watch out.
I did however get lucky tonight and came across a SW by the name of Celina who was working one block west of Clark on Broadway,very nice,19yrs,picked her up and agreed on $20 for a bbbj at a location close by,too bad she didnt have a place as this is one that would have been nice for FS but hey maybe next time,and no she didnt have a number for me.

Cruised Vancouver a few nights in the last few days and I thought I would make a review.

Wednesday night I headed out but ended up stopping quickly, at Hastings and Templeton, fot this Vietnamese girl I've seen before. She's pretty hot and not too pricey so I never bothered to go downtown. She always asks for a set amount, this time 60, and will do anything for it. I got her down to 35 for a CBJ and Full Service. This is only the second time I've seen her out and she is not a regular, just trying to make ends meet I think.

Friday night was pretty busy on the lowtrack. A lot of girls out and a lot of quality. There is a lot of LE traffic in the midtrack and it's moving away from the Commercial to Victoria, along Franklin strip. I noticed a lot more girls on Clark, and some girls moving towards the lowtrack on sidestreets. Be careful on these sidestreets as this is where the She-Men come to stroll. Kingsway wasn't too busy, I saw 4 from Main to Nanaimo, two right at nanaimo and the others about halfway, near Knight. Picked up annalynn on semlin and (2 blocks north of hastings). Nice native girl who fullserviced for 20, she was worth way more but it was late and things were slow. She charges by the shot, so you can alternate BJ to Sex as often as you like. I would reccomend her.

Monday night I went for a cruise and found things pretty dead. A lot of LE and not too much traffic on the midtrack. Lowtrack was also not very busy, and what was there wasn't great looking. There were a couple of reports way back about the last Wednesday of each month being the welfare day and how it impacts the scenery and selection. Add this to that, plus the following: Apparently with everybody¡¯s pocket money available, drug dealers push for their cut and that brings a heavy LE presence all over.

Wednesday night, under cover operation stings along Kingsway (Vancouver limits). They were as described in earlier posts. Cool it for now if you can. As posted earlier, there were two women working opposite of each other and being along the same spot. I didn¡¯t see the second woman first, that¡¯s why it didn¡¯t click, and I almost fell for it! Around nine, ten o¡¯clock, I saw one of them on the south side of Kingsway just west of (I think Nanaomi), at the corner restaurant with outdoor seating. I went around the block and came back from the side-road to check her out. As I was approaching the stop sign, I checked her out and I told myself, too flat, no. I remember I slowed down and almost stopped ahead of the sign because there was a pedestrian crossing and I was not even looking at her anymore. With no eye contact, the b**ch started walking toward me and I reached and lowered the window to hear what she had to say. She asked me if I was looking for a company. I said sure let me go around the block and quickly left. I drove by two minutes later and she had a victim.

The thing is that I had seen her earlier on the same spot when I drove by there a couple of times during an hour period and I didn¡¯t see any activity around her. So, when I saw her again a few hours later I didn¡¯t think about it much. Later as I was putting pieces of the puzzle together, I discovered where I missed it. The first time I saw her was late in the afternoon and I noticed her when I was in a slow traffic and had to wait at the red light a couple of times. She was with a second woman. Youngish with shorter dark brown hair, too neat to be associated with a SW I thought. I didn¡¯t see the second woman¡¯s face because she was trying hard to keep only her back to the traffic by walking sideway and pretending to be interested in the corner restaurant. She walked up to read the menu at same time eyeing (and looked like saying words to) the one standing at the corner.

Half hour later, as I was driving back on the opposite direction, I noticed the same woman on the same corner and the second woman too. She was sitting watching the one standing at the corner. She was the only one seated in the restaurant¡¯s outdoor area. ..... For that time of day, the restaurant owner would have not allowed a SW to sit there. You see how we have to be alert and read the scene very quick or we could get in trouble.

During the same night, I spotted at least two more busts on the same corner and two more on different locations along Kingsway (Vancouver limits). I am ninety five percent sure; I spotted at least two or three more undercover officers. Each time I quickly disappeared. A couple of them were not bad looking. It appears they are getting better in doing it and you and I have to learn to be able to read them very quick. Once you know you have to look for it then, you learn the signs that let you read them faster. One of them had a (very) small head-set on. It was so obvious (by then), she was reporting and not talking! Thursday night, quieter but ¡¦ less selection. All $100 ones completed a full shift (six hours) with no customer!

This can't be said often enough: The acid test of decoys is that they do not get in johns' vehicles. It's my belief that this is true throughout the US and Canada. I wish I had known about the LE crackdown before I went into BC for what I thought would be some easy sport hunting last month. I spent a good part of my evening in Surrey watching the LE run their stings just 3 blocks from their downtown Surrey headquarters. Good thing I have been hunting for many years here in the Puget Sound area and developed a kind of sixth sense about LE presence. It may be more difficult and less secure hunting here at home but at least I know the territory better but then if I go back later this summer or fall I have found out about a couple of other places to try near where I was that may be easier hunting. When you pull up to a stop sign and look to your right down the sidewalk and see two ladies and you trun right and the cell phones immediately swing into place it makes you wonder. The second time that happens 15 minutes later a little alarm starts going and when you swing thru the area and see LE cars and what we used to call a paddy wagon or holding truck or whatever all you can do is just sit back and watch their action.

Hopefully the LE will get tired one day and go back to the donut shops and let life go on naturally.

New Vancouver Strip Club - Uranus

Located On Braodway just East of Kingsway. It used to be Club Paradise and has been closed for a couple of years. They are reopening as two clubs, a karaoke club and a strip bar. The Karoke Bar is open now but the sign outsides says no dancers until May31st.

I looked through the glass on the door and the sign at the top of the stairs says that all patrons will be patted down and subject to a metal detector.

It was quite a dive before, but they may be actually trying to clean it up.

I was out last night Sunday night Monday morning and there was hardly anything on the low track and nothing on the mid until after 2am and a few out on the Kingsway high track. The low was full of junkies. I was able to pull 2 good ones out of the three I picked up. The first was a young blond probly a 5 to 6 on the Vancouver ho scale still a lot better than Seattle. I picked her up on Gore and E. Cordova but a very bad attitude, I kicked her out of the car on Main and E. Pender after I was done with her $40 Can. for half and half. US Memorial Day visit to Vancouver:

I spoke to a provider from the US who had been working in the lower-mainland, mostly the Vancouver B.C. area for the last seven months. According to her there has been increased efforts by LE to crack down on prostitution up there. She claimed it has become so bad that she came down here (Seattle area) to ply her trade. Can anyone confirm that Broadway has become one of the hotter strolls, or any other suggestions on times and places to cruise.

The current push to clean up the Downtown Eastside (which includes the low-track stroll) began around April of last year as part of the much-ballyhooed 4-Pillar anti-drug strategy. Initially I thought it was only targeting the drug trade, but from everything I've read since it sounds like prostitution is also part of the crackdown. I haven't been up since last fall due to problems at the border, but it sounds like the heat has been more on the hookers than the johns. This is a shift from the late '90s -- when there were indications that the city had largely given up on pursuing ho's, was viewing them as victims, and instead was focusing on the demand side (us). As usual with drug & prostitution crackdowns, the long-term effect they have is to disperse the illicit trades rather than eliminate them, and people in the tony West End of downtown have been upset at the rising number of druggies and street people there. There have also been reports of streetwalkers working the West End--where they haven't been seen in nearly two decades. In addition to migrating to other parts of Vancouver, some of the displaced drug & prostitution activity from the Downtown Eastside has moved to Burnaby and Surrey from what I understand.

On the contrary to leilia's story in my opionion every thing I have seen in the last 6 months things seem to be getting better. I have noticed a lot more LE in the last few months, but the only weekends that I have seen that were dead were the ones that came after welfare wednesday. I used to head up to the "Great White North" at least monthly, unfortunately since 9-11 I have been going less frequently, and I have not been up in nearly 6 months. I still have fond memories, Leilia is not the first SW who has come down (back?) to the US with tales of how it has become less pleasent to work in the greater Vancover area, she was just the most knowlagable, and seemed comparativelly reliable. That combined with the drying up of information on this section of the guide. I very much appreciate your recent observations.

Partially it was her assertion that Broadway was heating up that intrigued me. I had noticed more activity on that stretch on my last couple of times up too. There has always been at least the possibility of some action there, however, it has not really been a "stroll" since the mid-90's or so. I recognise that B.C. is probably one of the best locations in the Pacific North West to Monger. Certainly compared to Everett or Bellingham. It has seemed that Seattle and Tacom are looking better than they have in years. Although hardly as good as Vancouver was in the late 90's!

The MID-TRACK is to the best of my knowlage located on KINGSWAY from Burnaby almost to the downtown. If you have a hard time finding it tube Steak, try taking the freeway from Peace Arch to the exit for Knight Street, aproximately 5 km (about 3 miles) from the exit onto Knight Street you will come to the intersection with KINGSWAY. I would recomend turning right at the intersection, because left turns can be difficult there, and often the better selection can be found a K or two in that direction.

Another "Mid-Track" can be Hastings, or more accurately the blocks parallell to it (sometimes on either side) from the overpass about 1 k from Princess heading away from the Downtown/Gastown/China town area, and up toabout Salisbury (I think it is), or about the Dairy Queen. I am sorry I thought I had my map handy, and can not find it. I recomend getting a map of the greater Vancouver area, it is very helpful.

Hey TS sounds like you picked up on the MID track, east of Clark and North of Hastings would be the MID. These days MID and LOW are not too much different.

If you go south on Clarke I've seen some ok stuff lately too, go as far as Broadway and turn Right there has been some good stuff. You can then turn right again by the community college and loop back on to Great Northern way and left on to Clarke going back towards Hastings. Watch out I think Clarke around Great Northern is gettting to be a Tranny area, seen a few there but around Broadway or hastings and clarke is safe... enjoy

there are a number of good (and safe) massage parlours in richmond, vancouver and surrounding areas.

it sounds like you're fairly new to this game so i would recommend that you stick to some of the more established mainstream massage parlours that have been around for a few years and charge an "all-inclusive" fee. the fee typically covers basic services (half and half), although ymmv and you may get "extras" such as a second shot on goal, etc.. they also often have 3 to 5 girls on shift and you get to see who's available before selecting one (often a few more girls if you show up at about the time they change shifts).

here's a few all-inclusive priced places you might want to try (all are in the phone book or you can find them readily in the province or georgia straight newspapers):

I have strange hours for work so often find myself driving down Kingsway early in the morning or late at night.

I echo the warnings regarding police presence on Kingsway between Fraser Street and Metrotown as, over the last few months, I've witnessed police increasing their presence and efforts to deal wtih street prostitutes (which seems to be the result of pressure from local residents). It's becoming routine to see prostitution busts on Kingsway in this area. Some of these are obviously stings with undercover LE as bait, but many others involve police swooping down on a street girl and john during negotiations. I've also seen them pull over and harass street prostitutes, but didn't stick around long enough to see if they arrested them or simply harassed them.

There was one amusing episode several months back on Kingsway near Safeway, just east of Joyce (where the higher end girls used to stroll). I was parked at the Starbucks and saw two very, very attractive street prostitutes (the clothing and time of night were dead giveaways!) across the street. A police car showed up, waved them to get moving and then slowly (at a crawl) shadowed them down the street until they finally gave up and called a cab. Of course, maybe the police officer just liked the way they looked and moved their asses as they walked - I know I sure enjoyed myself!

There seems to be some girls out between 6 and 7 in the morning, but these look like the regular girls that I've seen over some time rather than decoys.

that being said, however, most mps in vancouver (especially those mentioned in my earlier posts and posts of others) regularly provide a full range of services, up to and including fs.

its important to keep in mind that prostitution itself is not a crime in canada. only living off the avails of prostitution (i.e. pimping), keeping a common bawdy house (not as easy to prove as it may sound) and communicating in public for the purposes of prostitution are illegal. its rare to hear of prosecutions for the first two (living off the avails and bawdy house), which generally do not result in charges against the mongers (although they may be subpoened as witnesses). the only one that seems to be enforced frequently and result in convictions is the "communicating in public" offence - which most commonly is used to combat street prostitution. note that this offenc includes not only discussions on the street but also negotiations in your car (the car is not considered to be a private place in canada). the safe bet is to leave the street for window shopping and to use escorts or mps when doing the actual shopping to purchase.

California, the AMP's are legal since they only offer massage, but what they offer is not. As long as the places keep a low profile, the LE don't seem to mind since it keeps it concentrated in commercial areas. In one of the suburbs here they cracked down on the AMP's, now they have people working out of apartments. As for FS being on the menu, it depends on how much you may resemble a member of the LE community. If you have a brush cut and you walk in the door and start asking questions about price then you won't get anywhere. Generally most of the AMP's will provide FS, and if they don't it is because the woman is on her period. Now for the price, I set a limit of $100 over room price. Few weeks I drove cross the border and exchange my money at the shop by the border, and that place is a ripoff. I check the current exchange rate at the time it was 1US$=1.36$CAN, but after I got my money, I saw the receipt and its only $1.31 for the dollar.

I lost 60CAN$ because of that or a nice BBBJ at the mid-track.

I use the Moneymart on E. Broadway and approx 3rd. Here is the deal typically you will see in the paper the exchange saying $1.36 to the dollar then you will see the buy and sell rates that day in the Moneymarts of $1.31 to the dollar with a $1.99 service charge, I have been to lots of currency exchanges around the world and it seems to be a constant to shave a few dollars here and there. The best bet is to goto your local bank before you go up to avoid any service charges or that day price fluctuations but a $40can. girl on the low track is still a lot better than a $60us. girl in Seattle so right there your saving a lot of money and I have said this before god bless Vancouver B.C. streetwalkers:):)

I can't answer for the American visitors who cross the border, but can give some general comments from the perspective of someone who lives in the lower mainland, often exchanges currency for travelling, and has a number of US clients/visitors from time to time.

First, if your current exchange rate of $1.31 is from the newspaper or internet you may have difficulty getting that rate anywhere. I almost never get the newspaper/internet rates - not only when converting to US dollars but when converting to/from other currencies such as Euros, English Pounds, etc.. However, it is always wise to check the newspaper and the internet before exchanging any money so you have a frame of reference for evaluating the rates charged by a bank or currency exchange place.

Currency exchange places and banks in Vancouver typically list two exchange rates - one for "buying" foreign exchange (e.g. US dollars from you) and the other for "selling" foreign exchange. Always make sure you look at the rate for the direction of the transaction as the there is typically a 10 cent or more difference between the two rates (this is where the currency exchange makes their money off the transaction and hedges against currency fluctuations from day to day). Perhaps when you exchanged your money the $1.36 rate you saw was for buying US dollars with Cdn dollars, while the $1.31 rate was the exchange rate for selling US dollars and buying Cdn dollars. If so, that was not a bad spread in the rates.

I've usually found currency exchange places at border points and at airports to give the least favourable exchange rates and so shy away from them.

The best exchange rate (without doing a lot of shopping around) is usually given by your credit card if its American Express or issued by a major bank. Pretty good exchange rates are also often obtained when you withdraw money from your own bank account using your ATM card as you withdraw the money in Canadian dollars and the Canadian bank and your bank then typically use a "bank to bank" exchange rate - depends on the banks involved so you may want to try this next time you're here by withdrawing only a small amount and then seeing how the exchange rate compares to the other rates you got.

For those who haven't been to Vancouver before, having a lot of Canadian money with you is not necessary as many retail stores/restaurants in Vancouver accept US dollars. Granted, sometimes this is at horrible exchange rates but at other times it can be at very, very favourable rates. If you keep both currencies with you, you can always ask the exchange rate they'll give and then pay with the currency that gives you the best bang for your buck.

Exchanging currency at any bank in Vancouver is easy. Most banks downtown prominently display their current foreign currency exchange rates. These can vary from bank to bank so the best advice is to walk by a few banks, check out the rates, and then go back to the one with the best rate.

There's also many currency exchange booths (not run by the banks), and these are typically all over the place in the tourist areas. Many do not seem to beat the bank rates, but some do. Since all the currency exchange places have electronic display boards listing their "buy" and "sell" rates, again the best advice is to take a little stroll, check out the rates and then go back to the one that has the most favourable rate.

In the downtown area, it is easy to stroll past half a dozen banks and half a dozen currency exchange places in 15 minutes (by walking along Georgia Street, Granville Street and Robson Street), and then go back to the one with the best rates.

A few times while waiting in line to buy foreign currency I've met someone who was in line looking to exchange the same currency for Canadian dollars. We agreed to exchange money using the average between the posted "buy" and "sell" price and saved the spread charged by the currency exchange (the math is easy when one person sticks to multiples of a "hundred").

For those who may be driving to Vancouver from Washington State, they may want to check the banks and currency exchange places in Blaine and Bellingham before crossing the border. Since lots of Canadians shop there you may find a better exchange rate in those places.

In summary, I would recommend using credit cards and an ATM card for non-pooning expenses whenever possible. That way, you also don't have to carry around as much cash. Although Vancouver is relatively safe, carrying around a lot of cash is not advisable in any large city. Also, before leaving for Canada check out the current exchange rate published in the major newspapers and on the internet (make sure it is a site that updates daily). If you come across a bank or currency exchange that is very close to or beats those rates, that's the place to exchange most of your money. If the rates not very good, exchange only $50 or $100 and wait until you come across one that has better rates.

One of the best places to exchange currency is at the BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union). There membership rules were always quite loose (my Great Uncle worked there in the 70's, etc.) And now do to a change in the laws resident of Washington state is eligable to join. Another advantage is that you can use most other Credit Union cash machines without a service charge (even up in BC). [There is a (Fisherman's or Mechant Sailors) cedit union on Hastings a couple of blocks from Princess].

I also keep any remaining Canadain currancy I have for my next trip to the Great White North. Since your worst rate of return is on exchanges of small amounts. It used to be that most of the banks in Bellingham gave a good exchange rate, however, I do not know if that is still the case.

I have to post this to clear up a preception that Vancouver is much more than just a sw scene. There seems to be a majority of posts about the street scene. The street scene is primarially in the drug areas around Hastings. Vancouver has the worst open use drug scene of any city in North America. Crack ho's smoking or shooting anywhere in front of anyone. Most or 90% of street walkers are drug addicts, with open sores and scabs. It is dangerous to both your health and your personal body. Stay away from it. However, Vancouver does have a fantastic pro scene. Just check some of the local newspapers. Province / Buy and Sell / West Ender stc. and web sites like Perb or Pacific Escort Review Board / Local Escorts.com, Vacouver Escorts.com. They all have pics and rates. Vancouver is pooner paridise, better than Thailand for professional attitude and variety. Black / white / brown / creamy / red. It is easier than ordering a pizza, any size or topping.

Prices vary, but average $120 for 1/2 hour, 200 for hour. Most girls will go for this if you just mention that is what you want to pay.

I just wanted to set it straight here that we are a great city with great girl scene and safe. I don't know why this site has concentrated on the low life street druggy action. I hope this helps someone who is coming here.

Just got back from the Great Northwest. I spent 3 days in Vacouver and I've got to say it's one of the best towns I've ever been to for "pay to play".

I dropped a bundle (mostly my own fault) but it was worth every damn Looney, and it was also my plan.

I take exception to the notion that the street scene is too dangerous to mess with: I picked up approximately 150 Vancouver streetwalkers from 1985-2003 (the vast majority on the low-track), had intercourse with all of them (about 10% anal or anal + vaginal), and didn't catch any STD to my knowledge (including HIV--which I've been tested for numerous times). True, I always used condoms (plus water-based lubricant for anal), and the outcome would probably have been different if I hadn't. I was also vaccinated for hepatitis B in 1993 (a three-shot series) and hepatitis A in 2000 (two shots, if I recall). Yes, many of the women are hard drug addicts (I saw plenty of scars from needle use, but not many open sores), but so are a large percentage of women who work in more upscale forms of prostitution--and stripping. In addition, some of them were probably as clean and attractive as what Always Lookin paid $500 for (I picked up one last year who looked like she could have just walked off a campus or out of a mall), and I usually got 15 or 20 minutes for $30-$50 Canadian. The outright rip-offs were clearly the minority: The vast majority of the time the women did what we agreed to (some more cheerfully than others, as with escorts and masseuses). As for the cops, I was harassed several times (a couple of times quite nastily), but never arrested. I'd probably still be patronizing the low-track if it weren't for trouble I had last year at the border (not related to drugs or prostitution), and hope to get it resolved someday and return to Vancouver.

Thanks for articulating what I and many other mongors on this board believe- the street scene is nothing more or less than it was 5 years ago, or any other time, for that matter. If you use a little common sense, the street scene is no more dangerous than hitting the single scene. I have been mongoring for close to 10 years, on and off, on the east coast, HI, and So Cal most recently, get regular testing(twice yearly for HIV and HEP C) and have yet to contract an STD(that I know of).

Having frequented both AMP's and SW's, aside from the often obvious drug use of SW's, their stories are the same. They ALL have sex with hundreds of men. But because one group of women APPEAR to take better care of themselves, the steroetype often goes, "that woman is much safer for me to have sex with than THAT woman." They BOTH are sex trade workers. The bottom line is both groups still have sex with hundreds of men, whether out of some brothel or on the street. Different, but with obvious similarities.

I respect other mongors who prefer in-call/out-call escort services, and those that frequent the MP's and brothels. But to say that one is a much safer venture than the other-please. You're kidding yourself.

The only thing I can concur with regarding 'safe' or 'safer,' is LE. And I haven't had any trouble with LE. Common sense again. Being aware of your surroundings. ALWAYS being aware of your surroundings.

I have been to Vancouver twice this year(all thanks to you, Uncirc) and both visits were outstanding, to say the least. Friendly SW's, plentiful SW's, and lets not forget the money factor. I stayed for 3 1/2 days each time, hooked up with around 7-9 SW's each stay, and only 1 was a not so good experience. Both visits together were near the same price as what Always Lookin spent for 1 girl. ONE girl. LE is not as aggresive as in the states, but as Trevor 3005's post can attest to, you can get in trouble. I am more careful now when I go up then when I started in the 80's. I tend to stay on the mid track strolls, but will check the low track to see if there are any gems hiding out. If you are new to this, you might want to stay away from the Kingsway stroll. It is near residential areas and has more aggressive LE presence. Great place for action and Chinese food, though.

As a frequent visitor from Seattle to Vancouver BC, I offer a few sugestions. Goto your local Barn's and Noble book shop pick up a street map for Vancouver BC, then goto Uncics site here is the url. http://www.geocities.com/un_csd/streetguide.html
Then find the Kingsway high track, the mid track and the low track on Uncircs site mark them on your map. For people that have never been to Vancouver it can be a little bit confusing. I suggest taking the truck exit then following the Pacific Hwy aka 15 up to Hwy 1, then East to Vancouver then take the E. Hastings street exit. Take a left at the light then follow E. Hastings eastbound over to the tracks you have marked on your map. I offer the following prices that seem to be consistant for me. On the low track expect to pay $20-$30can for a bbbj, $40-50can for half and half on the low track. On the mid track expect to pay $30-40bbbj, $50-60 for half and half .On the Kingsway high track they will range all over the place but a total hottie complete with bad attitude should cost you $100can for half and half. I dont recommend the high track because there is less bang for the buck and the Tourist high track in my opionion is a total ripoff.Now if that isnt enough if you go during the day and need to currency exchange any Vancouver bank will do, but after hours there is a currency exchange on 3rd and E. broadway that is open 24 hours 7 days a week. I think for many johns (myself included) the debate between street or non-street is moot: A large percentage of us simply can't afford anything but SWs. I've never had much money, and could never justify dumping more than $80 Canadian on a sex act. Part of the motivation for creating my site was to be an educator and advocate for working-class johns, and to try and make the street side of the hobby more respectable. One of the things being a street john and cruising some of the poorest neighbourhoods in the region for nearly 20 years has highlighted for me is the inequality between the haves and have-nots: It's hardened my view that government is the only entity in society that can adequately redistribute wealth, and must do a better job of it. Another thing this experience has confirmed for me is that the laws against prostitution and some drugs cause far more problems than they solve, and it is usually the lower class who bear the brunt of the repression--not johns, prostitutes, and drug users who can afford to patronize and practice these vices off the street. Therefore, it makes all the work I put into my site worthwhile when someone like No Zanax states that I've greatly helped them. I know not everyone likes what I stand for, but I think I've become less shrill over the years, and now try to confine my views on non-hobby matters to my Subversion page.

As for my problems at the border, they're not related to guns (most Americans don't own one, including me). I was waved through with just a driver's license from 9-11 to late last year, then encountered a Canadian immigration inspector who was very suspicious of me for some reason--and demanded that I provide proof of citizenship (passport or birth certificate), proof of residence (like rent receipts and a utility bill), and proof of employment (like a letter from my employer and pay stubs) -- just to visit for an evening. My name was then placed in the primary booth inspection lookout system, so trying other border crossings won't work. Naturally I've taken my time in deciding whether it is worth providing all this personal info to Big Brother border goons just to visit Canada, and am carefully plotting my next move. I suspect that someone may have identified me as the person behind the site, and passed that on to Canada Immigration. If that is the case--and the goal was to cause me to remove the BC cities from my guide--it didn't work, and I've been able to keep the BC info reasonably accurate by monitoring these boards and 20 or so newspaper, TV, and radio sites. Anyway, some good may come of all this because I decided to take advantage of this absence from the hobby to save up for a trip to South America next spring. After I get back, I'll have a new passport and am hoping to return to Canada. If they're still demanding that I jump through every hoop in the book, then I may have to get used to hobbying here in WA--which has a clearly inferior street scene in my opinion.
