I was here in December 1999. Since there is nothing listed I will start with this. The area is set up like a modern American City, with highrise Hotels and Apartment Buildings, and a wide BLVD.
There are a few clubs with chicas and those chicas were as hot as anyplace that I have ever been. There are various full service massage places also. They open as early as 9am and one even had a pool.If you speak Spanish you will go far, but you can get by. I met a chica in a massage place, $30 plus the tip, and she agreed to stay with me for the entire 7 days I was there. She was 7 in the looks department but sweet as hell. I was able to meet a few on the street going about their business as well as a few working in the stores. All these people are poor and always willing to earn a few extra dollars. I also found that all the taxi men spoke a little English and would assist me without ripping me off.
I will go to Acapulco and Mexico City for some days in July. As
I have not much time, I am looking for an escort lady for dinner

Acapuclo....as found on other boards, the best way I have connected is at the three better strip clubs, namely LaChicas, Taberes, & Foxys. Incidentally, thats the order in which I would rate them. I didnt go down this year, but have been pretty regular since the early 90's. If you pay much more than $100 US to these girls, your nuts. They will start high, just say no...almost always they will return, or barter on the spot.
Realize the average worker in Acapulco makes in the range of $5 to 8US a day. One has to understand, bartering is a way of life, not only will anyone think your a fool if you dont, some business people are offended if you dont. This is true for everyone down there, not just the chicas. At times I have hit on women on the street & clubs with some success, but....Im not always inclined to the time and bother.
Its not always easy to get girls into your hotels, either smuggle them around the back, or bribe the door guys. DONT pay the girls entire amount upfront, and expect them to meet you later....LOL.
Also understand if you want them to spend the entire night with you, make that VERY clear upfront, another reason for full payment, AFTER the fact.
If you interested in fast food, you can get head at any of the above clubs...$30-40 range, or laid right on location also. LaChicas seem to have the best rooms in this regard. Taberes is larger, and at times the place is packed and noisy. Both are right on the same street, just a few blocks off the main drag. Foxys is on a sidestreet, between the avenue and the beach, next to what used to be the Acapulco Plaza...changed names, and dont remember what it is now.
Forget picking up on Mexican chicks who are staying at your hotel for the most part. They are of the elite class in Mexico whom make a good salary...not likely to be inclined, but one year I did get lucky that way. If you can speak a little Spanish, just speaking to woman in the boutiques may net you results...if your willing to go along with the mating dance.....drinks, dinner, a little shopping.

Go to one of the clubs I mentioned, and find the best looking girl to your tastes, perhaps one that carrys themselves well, and speaks a little English. Often if you engage them once, they will be willing to hang with you for the week without their fees. Food, beach, maybe a boat excursion, and politeness can go a long ways...if you speak some Espanol, this can definitely be do-able. I know some wheelers and dealers down there, and have yet to find what your looking for...and I HAVE looked.

double dip's posts are right on the money. one thing to note however, everywhere you go the taxi drivers and amigo's on the street will aproach a single guy or group of single guys, wanting to take them to the girls. I would suggest avoiding any of the offer to "take you to the *****house" for $60 or so. mostly they are a rippoff. You pay $60 to get there then they want more for everything, including $7 beers. I have never done this, but have been with those who have, spent $100 or more and not gotten laid. Then were completly amazed when I took them to a club and got a girl to leave with them for $40 to $50 for the night.
Also there are a few girls working out of the cheap hotels a block or two behind the strip clubs just off Almenaz, and for about $10 you can get a blow job and laid, sometimes an extra $1 for the old women selling condoms in the lobby and if they push $6 for the room. And good service as they really want you back. $17 from a gringo is much better than $3 for a local, which is about all they can pay.

It has been a while since any one has had a serious post in the Acapulco section. For Mexico, many have posted in the Cancun section. What a Pity! As a frequent vistor to Mexico, I want to let those fellow mongers know, who have not been to Acapulco, what they are missing out on. Those who go to DR, Cuba, CR, etc feel it is necessary to push the virtues of those places. That is fine, but that being said, I am going to promote Aca.
First off, Aca is what a vacation in Mex is all about. While Cancun is fun, it is nothing more than an American trap. A la South Beach South. When I am in Mexico, I want to be in Mexico. Bottom Line!!
Now for the mongers. Stay away from the ***** houses in the Hills such as Rebeccas, and Raquels. The women tend to be old and fat.. They charge around $125 US dollars, and the condition of the rooms are nasty.... Definetely not worth it.
If you want babes go to the strip clubs.. Tabares, Las Chicas, and Foxies. Which place has the best looking babes varies from season to season. But rest assured, whatever place is hot.. IT IS HOT!!! Playboy types. Big Tits. (I love big tits) and nice little asses.!!!! Usual age between 19-26.
As far as privacy goes, Las Chicas is the best. The girl will take you into a private room for a friction dance. (In a private booth) where you can feel them up and she will play with and suck your dick. The girls in the other two clubs mentioned do the same thing, but it is in full view of the other customers... NO PRIVACY...
Plus, if you want to take the girls with you to do more, you can do so in Las Chicas. There, she will take you to a hotel about 5 minutes from the club. The room is clean, with shower and porno movies on TV. The room is like a typical american hotel... Where as in Tabares, you are taken to a room within the Bar. I personally am not comfortable with that.
You will find all types in all Bars. But, like I said before, you will find playboy types depending on the season in all three clubs. Now the important part. Price... It varies. Like any place the girls will initially ask for $150 US.. But you can get them down to between $75-$100 US. Plus, if you want a girlfriend for the entire trip then just take them to a disco, or the beach and buy them dinner and they are yours....
Now, I am sure that I will get some mongers who will totally disagree with me, but I have been to Acapulco at least 14 times in a 10 year span and I know what I know.
So, if any of you fellow mongers want a great time then go to Acapulco. You will have a great time.....

There is an intersection, almost directly across from the old Continental Plaza hotel, where you will find a Pemex gas station. It is right in the middle of Costera Miquel Aleman. Just go up the hill, for about 2-3 minutes and you will see Las Chicas on your right hand side. Tabares is just on the side street about a block away. Don't worry, if you go to any corner on the intersection you will find many vendors trying to sell you tickets to those places.

In the year 2000, Foxy's was reasonable. The whole package ran about $100. Then, in 9/01, a girl quotes $180. We're talking about an easy 45 minutes of "work". To put this in perspective, you can go to Rio de Janeiro, in the peak of Carnival, go to Barbarellas (the highest price and most aesthetic girls in city, perhaps in the country), and during that peak tourist time pay $180! This girl in Acapulco was not ugly, but she was by no means a model, perhaps just a college student. Never, never pay this. At that time, police made infrequent sweeps along Miguel Aleman (the main street) of street girls but only to keep local and tourists' wives happy (eg. very minimal). These girls are also "working" their way through college and will do you for reasonable prices to put themselves through school (or whatever).
I would rather pay a TJ girl to fly into Acapulco with me, before paying the highest prices in all of Latin America for a hooker. That dubious honor belongs to some other saps. In Ensenada, you can ask why they charge $20 more than in TJ, and one girl says, to compensate for our lower volume. If that's the case, Ensenada and Acapulco "club" girls can forget it--we're not talking about a factory with overhead that needs to "price for lower volume". They have no overhead--they need to get the message that they are not worth $200 hour. That might approach the prices of conceited LA hookers (I wouldn't know their price--I wouldn't dare ask).
There is another prominent bar, near the traffic circle (one block inland). I got a quote well over $100. I'll stick to being selective, and finding the cute girls in the bars, near Baby Lobster and Taco Chue.
The tourism industry in Acapulco fell off following 9/11/01. If you go down there now and nice places 4 star places don't like you bringing in girls, promptly switch to another hotel (3 or 4 star)--last I saw, these places were hurting badly for business themselves--why not make it hurt more. Not everyone is dumb enough to marry/bring a gold-digging wife to the hotel. Don't be a wimp; if you are an avg or better looking guy, it does not 'pain' them to screw you. If they ask a lot of $$$, let them know by your actions they'd make more money wrapping tamales.

I've been to TJ many, many times and usually paid just USD $40.00, once I was forced to pay USD $50.00.
Tell me it's possible to get these girls down to the fifties?

Just got back from Acapulco and thought that I should report back. I made sure to read up on Aca before I left and found it very helpful. I think that I went to all of the major strip clubs: Foxy's, Tabares & Las Chicas. IMHO Chicas had the best selection. I tried all of the above mentioned clubs at least 3 times. All of the clubs pretty much had the same asking prices for extras, I was quoted $60 for HJ, $80 for CBJ, & 130 for FS. Of course I countered when I found something that looked interesting. I finally settled for CBJ & FS at Tabares for $80. The girl had the best body I had seen the whole time that I was down there! Huge tits and ass, not fat at all. The session took place in a private room equipped with a leather bed/chair, mirrored walls and t.v. set playing a porno. Session was a 10, not rushed, I had a great time!
One night I ended up at Quinta Rebecca (*****house not to far from the strip). It is open 24hrs and when I was there, they had about 15 girls working. Upon arrival they ring the bell to alert the girls & have them line up. The girls are dressed in a bikini or lingerie. Same drill, the girls started off high ($130) but soon can down to reality, $60 for half & half. I only recommend this place if the strip clubs are closed. A taxi driver also pointed out a couple of good looking street walkers hanging out by Disco Beach. He claimed that they charge $50 and will take you to a nearby hotel for a few bucks more, or if preferred your place (if you can sneak them in).
Overall it was a good experience, but I've seen equal or better in T.J.

For those of you (i.e. Octatron) who constantly submit posts about how Tijuana is better ($ wise). You all obviously miss the point. Because TJ is just a 20 minute drive from Downtown San Diego it is easy to go there for monker action.
Acapulco on the other hand is a tourist resort. Great Beaches, Beautiful views, Great Bars, restaurants etc. The price for a piece of ass is naturally going to be higher. BUT, like anything is Mexico, that is negotiable.
Every section on the WSG is supposed to be about one's experiences in whatever place. Not a comparison of Cuba to DR, to Mex, to CR. etc.etc. etc.
Those who post about Acapulco, let them post. Stop comparing it to TJ or for that matter any other place. I am sure Jackson would agree with me.
Anyway, I have just gotten back from Aca and will be posting my experiences soon. By the way, I know the entire country of Mexico very well and there is nobody here who could tell me that TJ is a Tourist Destination. It is a one-day shopping excursion and one-night monker experience and that is it.

Jai Alai runs year round. Of the hotels you listed, the El tropicano is about the only one that is quest friendly. The El Cano, Romano Palace (Especially the Romano Palace), and the others are larger hotels that are total assholes when it comes to bringing in girls. In fact, when a babe from Tabares, Las Chicas, or foxies wants to spend the night with you, she always asks what hotel you are staying at.
Those hotels will blow any chance you have of getting a babe to come back with you, and the girls will tell you that they have been hassled too many times at those places. I had an experience where I wanted to bring a friend to my room for the evening. She was actually a real Mexican Friend of mine. The Romano would not allow her to come to my room. They were down right a bunch of assholes about it and made her feel like a hooker. When in fact she was not. They also told me that if I did not like it, then I should leave.
Also, as a fellow monger, any babe from Tabares, Las Chicas, or Foxies will tell you that they will not spend the night with you if you are staying at any of those mentioned hotels.
Take the El tropicano or hotels like the Monaco, or the Sands. You will not have a problem. They are also clean, and motel 6 type places.

I am planning a trip to Acapulco in Feb. I was hopefull until reading some posts here.
I am looking to get a girl in my hotel for the night...maybe a few nights. I am looking at staying at the radisson or hyatt, is this going to be a problem?
I am not interested in going to the "back room" or staying in some crap hotel.

newbie in nj, forget about trying to get a girl in the Hyatt, I when I was staying there last June I tried to bring my girlfriend in and they accused her of being a prositute. her family lives in Aca, and I flew down to spend some tim with her, so when I made my reservation on-line I made it for 2 people knowing she would be spending a couple of nights with me. The only thing was that they only asked for my name and not the person that was staying with me. Well to make a long story short when she came to see me they wouldn't let her up to the room, so I was getting very angry and explained that I made the reservation for 2 and that it was the hotels fault for not asking the name of the person staying with me. The guy wouldn't do anything and even called her a prostitute, this really pissed me off and luckily the manager came out and said everything was ok and just had to look at my girls ID. So don't even think about trying to bring a girl back to your room. The Hyatt has a real family atmosphere. Good luck!

The larger hotels will definetely give you a problem when it comes to bringing in a babe. Stay at the El Tropicano. It is not a dump. It has a great poolside, restaurant, cable TV etc. Depending on the season you can get it for as low as $40 per night. It is right next to Walmart, and the beach is across the street. (About a 3 minute walk) They have never given me a problem when it came to bringing in a babe.
Anyway Gentlemen, I just got back from my 2 week vacation during the Christmas holidays and I want to give my report. (Sorry I did not post sooner, but I am already planning my next mini-monger trip. I want to try something new, so its either DR or CR, have not decided yet) Well, back to Acapulco. This holiday the babes were found at Foxies. Like every year the action seems to split between Tabares, Las Chicas and Foxies.
Foxies had some nice Big Breasted, little assed babes. But unfortunately they are starting to get too high priced. They will always start and ask for around $150 US, and like anything else in Mexico that can be negotiated down. I got a great looking 20 year old named Michelle. (DD's, little ass, classic Mexicana babe, which I love) for around $100 US. She was also very nice, would talk to you, and act like your girlfriend.
There were (unfortunately) many babes that were too aggressive, just wanted the money. That turns me off.
While Acapulco is still my favorite city I am going to try something else this time. If anyone can give me info on Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for the kind words dude! It is nice to see a fellow monger out there who is not trying to compare Costa Rica to Cuba, or Tijuana to Acapulco etc..... A monger who just wants to know the facts about a particular place.
Acapulco is definetely what I know best. (Although like any fellow monger, I am open to new experiences, that is why I am going to Costa Rica in about 4 weeks. Already bought the tickets)
Anyway, as for your question. The only La Huerta that I know is in the Zona Rosa, and yes it is still open. Girls are very cheap, but I don't recommend it, due to the fact that the Zona Rosa can be dangerous.
Well, as far as your question goes regarding the bringing back of a babe to your room for the night. The price will vary depending on the babe. For example, if you speak spanish, (which I personally do) and have a great attitude, you probably can bring her back with you for the entire night for about $175 US. BUTTTTTTT, that is if you met her for the first time.
Take my wor d for it, just go back to the club for a second time and if you just talk to the girl regularly.. She will stay with you for around $100 US for the night.
Again, it depends on the babe. Stay away from the ones that are really anxious to sleep with you. They just want the money and that is it... Certainly not worth it.... The babes that are willing to talk, kiss, and tell you a little about themselves.. (Believe me, they exist) are worth the extra effort....
The key to Acapulco is patience... And besides, you are on vacation. Just enjoy everything!!
Stay away from the Quintas like Rebeccas or Raquels.. Fat and old and expensive is the norm...
If you want a regular Mexican babe. Hang around the baby lobster, (Right in front of Disco Beach.) there is plenty to drink, music to listen to, and lots of eye candy.. Don't worry, someone will approach you and offer the babes to you for a much cheaper price. Just be careful, because the age of some of these girls is not certain.. Some look around 15-16 years old. Be careful...

Guys, just as a FYI only (better late than never), La Huerta that is mentioned is closed.
It used to be one of the best *****houses around Acapulco, much better than las quintas or the houses that still stand.
It was so tourist oriented, that it was included as a stop on the Acapulco by night tours (early 90's).
It was a nice place, but R.I.P.

La Huelta was indeed a wonderful place; it saddens me to think it's no longer in operation. By the way, huelta was one of those Indian / Spanish / Mexican word that referred to the bark of a tree in which the bark looked like the wrinkled labia / scrotum of humans, much to the merriment of the older locals. Many such words won't be found in a "proper" dictionary, but have indigenous origin. What I would do, although I haven't been to Acapulco in many years, is to stay out of the rip-off places on the hillsides. Many times taxi drivers would insist La Huelta was closed and only after lengthy arguments would take you to La Huelta.
I would explore the blocks behind the market (the big, native market), which was full of *****s. Get a cab to ride you around in the day time to explore the place. What made La Huelta so popular was that you were in a walled compound, where a taxi could be found. If La Huelta's not going, try to find a place in the day time where you will be safe at night- having a sheltered entrance and exit for cabs, like La Huelta had.
One of the old places I remember was a place called Las Gatas; however, it looked "rough." Remember- cab drivers love commissions. In a country where the daily wage is about $4, you shouldn't have to pay $100 for some pussy.
I hope that La Huelta is not really closed and that the reports are from cabbies trying to get you on the hill...Acapulco holds many memories. I have been going there since the 1960s; it was much smaller then. In fact, where La Condesa is now, there was only a Pemex (gas station) and a fruit stand. Thanks for posting- some of you guys try to find us some decent *****houses instead of Puritan American sucker houses.

On my second trip to Acapulco I was taken to a street by a (very reluctant )cabbie that was located east of old centro about 200 meters kinda behind fort San Diego. The street went to a low area with both sides littered with bars (nothing fancy )all of which had gals working and most with rooms in back and FS ranged from 150 pesos - 250 pesos. There was no walled area to be seen and was not a tourist area. If a dude likes the fancy strip club scene then this was not the place . SW's , open urinals behind the bars , dogs coming inside the bars then going back outside etc.Also,got some places on southside of Acapulco to check out. I can't say if you can get busted, but I have gotten stopped on the way. I ended up giving the federales 20 pesos (via the pulmonia driver) to get off my case. They probably would've jailed me for something stupid (like some curfew law) or something f*'ed up like that.

Rebecca's is known to most taxi drivers. Nice place having selection of girls ranging from 18-25, about 6 to 7's mostly. Deal is you arrive at Rebecca's, are ushered into an open air patio, girls are paraded in front of you, make selection and girl joins you for a drink. Nov. 03 drink was about $2 US. Girl starts off by offering everything for $150 US, normal haggling occurs and price I incurred was $80 US, or 800 Pesos. Services offered seem to be wide open as far as girl is concerned. Don't be shy ask specifics of girl before making committment, if you want A ask for it, if she won't, try another. Staff seems to be very helpful wants monger to be satisfied. Hour is standard, Uncovered BJ is typical, safety was practiced for main event. By the way condoms cost $2 apiece, for you smart shoppers out there bring your own. Taxi driver stayed on site whole time I was there. very helpful.

I totally agree with you Macgoo. Not only were the ladies of Rebecca's old and ugly. The condition of the rooms were disgusting. That drive up that isolated hill road to get there certainly does not inspire much confidence either.
West16, if you got a beer for $2.00 then all I can say is WOW. It was usually about $10 US.
I have been going to Acapulco for more or less about 10 years now and the quintas like Rebecca's were always a place to stay away from. The other ----house called Raquel's was a little better, (clean rooms) but not much better as far as the babe action went, though on occasion there were some young pretty girls. But, that was on the rare occasion.
Normally, las chicas, Tabares, Foxy's are the norm. Beautiful girls there. Did you try any of those places West16?

There were about 15 ladies there. I was brought by a cabbie who waited it out while I was in the room with the girl. I felt completely safe. Clean? It wasn't antiseptic like the Hilton in Dayton Ohio but yeah, it was clean. I didn't try to take a girl out of there. My guess is if you want to do that your best bet is to have one encounter on premises and then discuss it with her, if she is willing to see you outside.
All of these experiences are relative. Like I said, they're not as incredible-looking as the girls in the clubs. But I left there a very happy man.

Just returned from Acapulco yesterday and did some light field work. (being there for spring break I only need the local talent for two nights or so) I stayed at the Fiesta Americana whicj gave me enough trouble getting in regular girls for some action, it took some work but they all got in. As you said it was rather early in the am to get a completely fair opinion on Rebeccas, but there were two very hot girls there, one being busy and the other not willing to budge off 1,500 pesos. I was jsut to tired to wait for the other hot girl, so I settled. The questions should not be, "when is Spring Break over in ACA ?", but when is it over in the USA. After all, it is a college student's tradition to play -- away from home during this time. These university/college Spring breaks last from as early as mid-February until mid-April; depending on whether the school is on a Semester or Quarter system. Airfares will reflect this pattern as well; e.g., typically lower prices after mid April.

houston had bad weather and i got delayed 2 hours. i ran full speed across iah only to be told they would not let me on my connecting flight. finally after arguing with them they let 5 of us onboard. next my luggage got lost which really made my day. the luggage finally arrived later in the day, but the trip definitely did not start off very well. time to drink and get laid.

things that were interesting about acapulco strip clubs.
the dressing area was in plain sight with lockers hidden behind mirrors. this was interesting because you could see all of the dancer before they got on stage or approached you. there were also hair and makeup areas for the girls to ready themselves. i saw one girl spend 2 hours at the mirror fixing her hair and it looked exactly the same once she was done. you could help a dancer soap and rinse after she came off stage with the provided showers.
saturday night -
las chicas:
i visited las chicas which opened at 9 for drinking, but no women were dancing until 10. the club is loud, too loud. the entire staff was wearing black slack, white shirt, black vest or jacket and all had on top hats. they also had very annoying whistles they insisted on blowing all too frequently. the seating was primarily booth seating setup similar to stadium seating.
my waitress was pushy and obnoxious, but it seemed like the rest of the waitstaff was very good. service in acapulco is wonderful and some waiters/waitresses will get upset if you even try to pour your own beer.
one stage with dual stripper poles is the focal point for the club. several of the dancers were great grooving those "hips" and performing pole acrobatics. dancers danced 3 songs the final one being totally nude.after the set the women would take a brief shower (in plain view) and customers were allowed to help them "rinse off." the price of beer was 45 pesos.
there were 20-25 girls working that ranged from from fat and unattractive to one playboy quality dancer(viviana). viviana rivaled daisy fuentes in all categories so if this does not rate playboy quality than i don't know what is. overall the women would rate from 4-8 with the single 10. private dances (private booth room) were 200 pesos and offered fully nude groping and grinding. the initial price for taking the women out of the club (*for the night) was $200 for an 8 to $400 (miss playboy) in usd. several of the dancers gave better privates than the hottest woman as she did not have to work near as hard to get attention or money.
*for the night meant until 6 a.m. from the 5 girls i inquired from.
i did not even want to begin negotiations at las chicas at those starting prices. several of the other patrons told me that tabares was a much better club with hotter women so i should go check it out.
tabares:
i was greeted by this incredibly hot blonde babe wearing a black stretch top, leather short shorts and rollerblades that let me to my seat. unfortunately, she was not on the menu or i would have paid her asking price.
the club was just as loud as las chicas which means having a convesation is next to impossible. there were a few booths, but a lot of the seating was short stools (like the ones mcdonald's use to have). the club had a bigger crowd and a lot more energy than las chicas. tabares was also quite a bit brighter than las chicas which did have a more intimate setting. the dressing area was again in full sight so you could see the entire package before sampling a woman.
my waitress was much busier, but she was still very attentive and i never lacked for anything. i am not sure anyone waited on anything but a busy dancer.
there were 20-30 women (harder to see the whole club) that rated between 6-9. i did not see a dancer as hot as the one in las chicas, but to each their own. several of the dancers had implants which was also different from las chicas. 200 pesos for a private dance will get you taking to the rear of the club where a dozen or so relaxation chairs were available for private dances. you would recline on the chair and the dancer would basically grope you into submission. the dances were about the same in booth places, but the privacy of las chicas was better. i would never trade in a little privacy for a hotter dancer though. the initial price for taking the women out of the club (for the night) was $200 - $250. i am sure some of the less popular girls would start off much less, but i prefer quality over quantity in most situations.
so now i was a little drunk, horny and was not in the mood to spend over $100 for sex so i left the area. taxi cabs are everywhere and when leaving a club don't be surprised if 4-6 drivers want to take you to 'better place." i elected to walk the 4-5 blocks towards club disco which is mentioned here on the forums. there were a couple hot chicks walking the streets with quite a few more on the prowl. there are "would be" pimps offering women all along the strip, but most of them will only take a cut of the deal and then introduce you to the girl. many of the girls offered themselves or could be approached from what i can tell. all of these activities happened in plain view of numerous law officers without problem.

acapulco is a bargain compared to the us, but other parts of mexico are much cheaper. many of the first offers are totally outrageous and only a moron tourist would not haggle for a better price. when the first price is $150 that often means $65-80 depending on many factors. the tourist areas of acapulco seem relatively safe, but being aware of your environment cannot be overemphasized. i would imagine tourist drunks are easy marks considering the numerous side streets and back alleys that do not have any or ample lighting.
sunday night
tabares:

impressions from the second night:
the memories are very good in most places around so be careful how you conduct yourself. a pleasant greeting and a good handshake can take you far in most places. an initial offer range from $20-400 for the entire night is hilarious.
monday night:
i went to see the cliff divers and then on the way back i went to foxes. the interior of the club is nicer than either las chicas or tabares. the music is not as loud and the waiters don't have annoying whistles. if you get a waiter named augustine tell the manager you want someone else. augustine is a crook!
20 women in the club from 5-9 with more brunettes and real tits than tabares. the girls here were somewhat more aggressive than the other clubs which is not all bad. the waitstaff is filled with more slicky boys, but overall the service was still very good. dances start at 200 pesos and quickly work their way up for various sexual activties (don't tell bill clinton that mongers generally consider oral sex as sex). in the back of the club there are rooms where you can take a girl for total privacy. you make arrangements with the girl or the manager to have a free-for-all on the premises. the manager said chicas were only able to leave for a maximum of 3 hours, but they could stay in the room for as long as one had money. he said he would bring in food, drinks, viagra or anything else to make sure the customers were happy.

The good thing about Tabares, Las Chicas, and Foxy's is that they are all within walking distance between each other. Your starting point can be the Pemex Gas station. It is right smack in the middle of Costera Miquel Aleman. (Main strip). If you walk up the hill (right hand side of Gas Station) you will find tabares first. (on the right), then a little further up the street, las chicas. (the entire walk is about two minutes.)
There is no way to get lost, across the street from the Pemex station there are guys waiting to sell tickets. They will find you, and even guide you where to go.
Foxy's is a little bit farther, from the pemex station. Stay on Costera Miquel Aleman, walk till you see a Denny's and a Family style Restaurant called California's, then immediately turn left on a back street and keep walking. Foxy's is basically behind that Mall Area. Again, from the Pemex station it would be about a 10 minute walk.
Cab driver's will probably ask you if you want to go to a ___house, there are two main ones. Raquels and Rebecca's. You may or may not get lucky as far a quality of girls goes. I usually stay away from those places because the quality of girls is poor. Old and fat is usually the norm, but sometimes there are exceptions. To go to these places you need to take a cab, just ask the cab driver to wait for you, he will. Then scope the places out, if you don't like what you see, then leave. I have.
Where to stay. Well it depends again what you are looking for. I will rate each hotel as far as getting a babe in your room. If you stay at places like The Romano Palace, (tough but not impossible), Fiesta Americana, (Forget it), Hyatt (forget it), El Presidente, (Possible), Sands Hotel, (Very Possible) and the El Tropicano (Very Possible). I would recommend the El Tropicano.
El tropicano (www.eltropicano.com.mx) is a clean, nice place, with a restaurant right on the premises. Upsides are it is right next door to a Walmart, McDonalds, Hooters, Baby O's, etc. The beach is only a 5 minute walk across the street, and there are plenty of Banks (ATM's) right there.
Downside= A little too far to walk to the strip clubs. Take a cab, negotiate for about 2 bucks and you are right at tabares and Las chicas. The other downside I find is that there are not too many Mexican restaurants around this area. They exists, but since I personally love Mexican food, I want as many options available to me as possible.
If you want to stay directly on the beach, then those hotels I mentioned above (except Romano and the Sands) are right on the beach. (Romano and Sands are across the street).
Prices for hotels depends on when you are going. Off Season you can get the El Tropicano, Sands and Romano between 45 and 55 dollars a night. The others will be more.
As far as prices go for babes. Texas Dude had some valid prices. But, 400 dollars?? I don't think so. I have been with many Playboy types and paid no more than $125 US. She will immediately ask for around 175 to 200. Just say no, and negotiate. Everything is negotiable in Mexico.

Just got back from my excursions in Mex. Spent 8 days in Acapulco and 4 days in Cancun. I will post my experiences in Cancun in that forum. Anyway, back to Acapulco.

Those Bars, are all centrally located and within walking distance of each other. Use as the starting point, the Pemex gas station right on Costera Miguel Aleman. From the Port, you will need to take a cab. Just negotiate and you will get a deal.

Good and close hotel is Fiesta Americana. You should get a discount coupon from airport before you reach hotel in order to secure a good rate. Regardless of rate, request a higher floor since they are typically of better quality. However, it is tough to get girls into this, and most hotels along beach. My second choice would be the Copacobana, when I want to be in the midst of the party types,i.e., prefered by Mexicans.

Just got back from Acapulco. I have never done any of these activities in the US before so I have never posted on this site before. I stayed at Continental Emporio which is a block away from Tabares and the other strip clubs in the area.

Going to ACA Feb 23-March 9. Any new info on SC's or Gfriendly hotels?
Be careful in ACA. Newly elected leader in ACA community has put out a big police force, cracking down on "sins". LE was everywhere on Saturday night and almost no SW on Sunday. Had police truck outside Baby Lobster most of the night. As with most politicians, not sure how long this would last but it also put pressure on prices in other places as girls were in higher demand as people had to go to clubs for action.
Went to clubs but got quoted insane prices 1500 pesos, only one budged down to 1000 pesos and none said they could leave the premises. I saw some nice girls in Tabares but too many breast implants. Foxys was further away but staff was very friendly. Chicas had young girls like 20 years old with dyed hair and nice tight bodies. Extasis was terrible as girls on stage looked frightfully when up close. Also tried out Samanthas because of a nice flyer, 3x1 dances Sunday-Tuesday and 2x1 Coronas, how could I resist? Only if the offer is not valid, must be ACA resident so they say!?!? Also hated being hounded for drinks, especially by Tabares waiters who were distastefully dressed up with work suits and coal miner lamps. Thought it was a bit too much considered what happened recently in US.
Never bothered with brothels like Rebeccas and the other one as I had read they were bad and overpriced. And with all the police action, probably shut down or raided for drugs or something. Clubs were packed with too many men on Saturday night and no one on Sunday. Made it more peaceful to chat with the girls, although only half of them were there from the night before.
ACA seems to be a good party place and I did enjoy all the bars lined up around Barbaroja although Saturday had a lot of teens hanging out in front. Chatted with some girls but most seemed too innocent to bring on the subject of helping to pay her college, especially with her friend by her side at all times. The best you can do is get a wingman to take her friend as these chicas will not leave them alone. Mexico is tough for girls alone as I saw anyone not accompanied get harassed with whistles, hollering, even downright physical touching, etc.
Met several girls there and even texted back and forth but seemed not likely to set a date. Was only there for 5 days so didn't have time to invest more patience and play the romance game although I think I might have gotten to second base by the weekend. This place probably used to be a lot more fun, and much cheaper! :(

(Drinks, food, chicas, etc) but like you said , you were only there for 5 days, If you were there longer, and with a little more searching, you would have found better prices. I will say this though, the prices in any Mexican city on the West Coast are by far much cheaper than say Cancun.
As far as the LE crackdown. There is not a city in the world that does not crackdown on sin when there is a local election coming up. I have never had any problems with LE during my stays in Aca, and I have been going there for many years. (At various times) I think that the timing for you just sucked at that time. So I really do not agree about the Warning.
You were wise to stay away from Rebeccas, and Raquels. They are just too hit and miss as far a quality girls go.
I do agree with you about Tabares, while the girls are hot, it is basically a hustle place. It is too loud and the waiters in the costumes are just plain stupid. Foxies and Las Chicas are much better. I have never been to Samanthas.
Teens on a Saturday Night in front of Barbaroja has always been the norm. They are the Chilangos that come down every weekend with their families from D.F. Nothing new there.
All in all Acapulco is a great town, but it is true that it is not what it used to be. (And that is ashame) But, if ones Spanish is good they can have a good time and find good prices still.
Again, I am not trying to rain on your parade, it is just too bad that you did not have as great of a time as one could. I would suggest that you check out (If you have already not done so) places like Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Ixtapa, etc. I have never been to Mazatlan, but that will be certainly on my list sometime soon, because I hear that the prices are cheap there.
Anyway, just my two cents worth.

First of all, I'm impressed: After having spent several months in Rio, I went for five days to Acapulco (my first time). If I would need to decide now, whether I should go to Rio or Acapulco next time, I'd definitely choose Acapulco.
A few observations:
Beautiful, clean beach. Lots of hotels, restaurants, discos, strip-tease clubs, massage joints, etc. A civilized atmosphere. And practically everything costs less than in Rio nowadays. Safe environment, based on my judgment.
And then straight to the point:
Las Chicas: Had two girls, 1.300 MXP each. Full service for one hour (CBJ/BBBJ), pussy licking, normal sexual intercourse (no anal - but I didn't even ask for it). Both chicks claimed to be 18 yrs old, but I had my doubts, they were so fresh and tight. But let's stick to the official truth. Very friendly service, after the first visit I never had to pay any entrance fee (20 MXP of tip does miracles, plus a polite attitude and reasonably high consumption of "house products"). The show was mostly very good, and it was interesting to see each girl take a shower after her performance right in front of the audience! But I don't regret visiting the place, at least I know now where I do NOT want to invest my money next time. And the massage itself was a real massage, very relaxing.
A few conclusions: Typically the girls start by asking some 1500-1800 MXP, and immediately drop the price with 30 %, if you suggest it. Surprisingly, the best looking girls don't even propose "full sex" service, but *you* need to take the initiative. Practically all were really nice, girlfriend types - and beautiful (it's up to you, you simply need to avoid the less beautiful ones). What I found out, the girls typically need to pay 300-400 MXP "rent" for the room you occupy for the 30-45 min (or even 60 min), and the rest they can keep themselves. The lap dance was typically very erotic, but if you want to save a few bucks (200 MXP), just ask for the sex right away.
All the establishments I visited had separate rooms for the "full sex" service. But the lap dance took place practically in the same space where the dancers were performing (and the audience sitting). But of course there was some kind of low wall or curtain to guarantee some minimum privacy.
The personnel was very friendly everywhere, in the hotels, bars, shops, etc. Taxi drivers suggested very different amounts for the same ride: Anything in between 0 MXP (yes, zero) to 100 MXP. It's up to you to decide what you want to pay, and the drivers seemed to take your bargaining as a positive challenge, like a game. Surprisingly, the recommendations of the taxi drivers were also quite reliable: If they promised to bring me to a place where there are "beautiful, young girls" instead of "silicon bombs", I typically ended up to a place where there indeed was at least one "beautiful young girl" - waiting for me! Maybe this is due to some kind of low season, I don't know.
I'm not saying Acapulco is necessarily a "low cost" mongering location, but by spending a few thousand MXP each day I got excellent value for money, IMHO. I'll go back sooner or later.

Very clean, very friendly service, less than 100 m from the beach. They charge about 80-90 USD per night for a large room with two beds. No sea view, though;-) I never tried bringing a girl in, but based on the very relaxed attitude of the personnel I would imagine that it would not be a problem. No children allowed in the hotel, don't exactly know why. But their target group seems to be "young" travelers, whatever it means.
There are great discos just around the corner, but most of the strip-tease bars are a few kilometers away, i.e. better to take a taxi.

After reading every report and comment on Acapulco, I find it amazing that there is not one mention of perhaps what I find to be the best place for meeting quality chicas that are available for a fair amount less than at the major clubs (Tabares, Las Chicas, Foxys and a couple others)-that being the 10 or 12 smaller strip clubs located from one to three blocks off the Costera. TabaresII, El Sombrero, El SombreroII, and Kisses are located one block off the Costera and one block west of Parque Papaguyo. Granted, there will be very few if any gringos in these, but that has never been a problem for me. I have always been made to feel very welcome and there is not near the amount of hustle one gets at the major clubs. Everything is more relaxed at these clubs. The menu is the same as at the major clubs-table dance, private room, and takeout. I have found some real beauties in these and I am extremely picky. Some of the others are Platinum2000, Pirates, Bazookas, Egyptios, Leon Rojo, and others. I do speak just enough Spanish to get by in these clubs.
I have been going to Acapulco since 1982. Back then and for the next 12-14 years, the major attractions for me were La Zona and La Huerta. La Huerta has been closed for ten years or so and La Zona is just about dead. There is still a small amount of activity that goes on there. La Zona is located about a mile from the Costera and very hard to find if you have not been there before. There is now a small area where girls work outside some sleazy local bars that is only 2 blocks off the Costera. I was there last March and had fun driving thru the area with my rental car. I did have a session with a tiny girl there that weighed about 100 lbs and had enormous boobs-like 34ddd or larger.
One thing that I have always liked about Acapulco is the attitude of most of the chicas towards having fotos taken. Nearly all loved being photographed and most wanted copies for themselves. Nothing is left to the imagination either.
I do have have a friend of mine that liked Acapulco so much that he moved there about 12 years ago. I now stay with him when I go there and have brought many dates back there with never any problem. He lives about 3 blocks from the Costera behind Parque Papaguyo in a very quiet area.

Another thing that I really like about Acapulco (this has been mentioned before)is that all of the perhaps 10-12 largest clubs have dressing areas for the dancers in plain view for everyone to watch. Also, nearly every dancer takes a shower after dancing in a shower area also for everyone to watch.
Although I am pretty much up to date on the action in Acapulco, I can always talk to my friend who lives there and get instant updates. He knows a couple cab drivers well that keep him always up to date on the monger scene.
Sorry to make this so long, but I think everyone has been missing out on some of the best action in Acapulco.

I recently returned from a week of vacation in Acapulco. Thanks to Kobra22, I found several great clubs. For me, Tabares was still the top club. The girls here are the hottest, and the club itself is a circus atmosphere that must be seen to believe! It starts from the moment you enter, when the midget host gives you a shot of tequilla and then escorts you to your table. Dozens of male waiters in miner hats and rollerblades and female hostsdressed like schoolgirls circle around the club on rollerblades. The music is absolutely BLARING and bass thumping. The girls put on quite a show. It's almost more of a burlesque show than a strip club, although they do strip completely nude. You can take a girl to the back room but it will cost you at least 2,500 pesos!!! Tabares is located one block north of Diana Circle. Las Chicas which I assume is owned by the same club, is directly next door.
The local strip clubs mentioned below by Kobra22 are in a small red light district located exactly as he said, one block north of the Costera and one block west of Parque Papagoya. You might find one or two gems here but for the most part, the girls are all skanky and all bearing C-section scars. They charge 1,500 pesos to take to the back room.
The last place I visited was Quinta Rebecca, which is a brothel high in the hills above central Acapulco. Any taxi driver knows this place. It's a large hotel complex with a big swimming pool and patio. There were about 10 girls sitting in bikinis in little groups around the patio. There's no such thing as red light district but if you want to explore go to the area where the Arena Coliseo is located. I have seen a few streetwalkers in that street.

The quality in these varied greatly over the years. There also were about a dozen smaller bars open that would have from about 0-5 girls working in them. Finishing up my weekend here. The place is a lot of fun. The open air bars like Paradise are a blast and full of women. Non pros. I did go to a place called Nancys. Acapulco was my introduction to Mexican / Latin culture over 30 years ago. A legendary mexican coastal resort town made world famous by the Hollywood sect and the rich and famous. Countless movies and songs have been written about the city. Today only a few remnants of the golden era exists, however the beautiful scenery I experienced more than 30 years ago is left unchanged. The beauty of Acapulco still blinds you with gorgeous views that lull you into afternoon daydreams. While sitting on your balcony reminiscing about the fresh mariscos you ate for lunch, your water logged bathing suit cries happy tears of chlorine.
Today we have a different version of Acapulco, one which has been ravaged by drug wars and a population growth which exceeds infrastructure capabilities. Chilangos (people from mexico city) are brought in by the busloads on the weekends to fill the hundreds of hotels located on or just off La Costera, Since a paved highway was created between Mexico City and ACA there is no more exclusivity. Before you had to fly into the airport to get there or else it was very difficult to arrive.
So why waste my time and go back? I had to see it for myself and I am glad that I did. I still think it is a great place for a vacation, especially for lovers. It seemed like I was the only loser single male roaming around. It would have been a lot better enjoyed with someone else, with that said I always tend to get into something so that did not interfere with me having a good time.

I have a place in Tijuana so I was anxious to try flying out of the Tijuana International Airport on Volaris Airlines. They run a non stop flight which was a super easy trip of 3 1/2 hrs. Check in at the airport was a breeze since I already had my boarding pass printed out as well as my tourist card (FMM) from previous entrances into Mexico.
Volaris allows checked bags of 55 lbs which was really helpful to me since I always tend to be over by 5 lbs. Volaris considers your suitcase weighs at least 5 lbs so they give it to you in the weight allowance. NICE.
Security measures are the same as the USA TSA rules when it comes to liquids. You do not need to take off your shoes but everything else is the same.
I purchased all the extras like choosing my seat and first boarding privileges. To me it is worth the cost. The boarding process was organized for the most part and most people did not carry obscene sized carry-on bags. Actually there were several recorded announcements at the gate advising people NOT to take any carry on luggage at all which I thought was hysterical. If you necessarily needed to bring carry on then they stressed bringing the smallest bag possible. Sure let me check all my meds and electronics in my luggage. The only complaint I have with TIJ International is the lack of seats in the gate areas. This was also a problem in Acapulco when I returned. Many people had to stand while waiting to board. Otherwise I would use TIJ Int. Again in a heartbeat as long as I don't have to change planes in Mexico City which is an airport I try to avoid.
Stay:
Where you stay in Acapulco plays a big part in whether you have a successful trip to Acapulco or not. There are a few areas tourists need to be aware of. Most surround the bay and one covers the area close to the airport.
Zona Diamant.
-I s out by the airport and the open sea. You will have a great beach at your disposal and mainly upscale hotels like the Acapulco Princess Mundo Imperial which can run a little under $200 on weekdays (deals can be had as low as $86 on hotels.com a few days before check-in date). You will also have access to 2 shopping malls nearby with a Walmart and Sams Club. La Isla shopping mall is like anything you would see in California with just about the same stores. Otherwise there is no advantage to staying in this area. You will need a car or pay for taxis or take a public mini van to shuttle yourself around to the limited amenities.
Great area to enjoy unspoiled beaches and all inclusive resorts where you don't need to shlep bottled water from Walmart to your hotel room. Things could get pricey otherwise if you depend on the hotel for everything.
Puerto Marquez.
- Between the Zona Diamonte and Las Brisas is the bay of Puerto Marquez This is a little local beach where I used to water ski as a child. It was always slummy but it might be worth a peek for the explorer types. Beware of stray dogs.
Las Brisas.
- Located halfway between the airport and La Costera. Still an exclusive area (Las Brisas Hotel) but much closer to the action on the strip. You will pay roughly 100 pesos each way for a private taxi. I will explain public transportation later.
You will not have access to a beach here but if you stay at the absolutely breathtaking Las Brisas Hotel you will have access to their swim club area called La Concha where you can lie in a beach chair by the bay and take swims in natural pools of sea water. Exclusive. Still though I saw deals for this place on Hotels.com. If you check a day or two before check-in you can get rooms for under $100. This and Mundo Imperial would make great overnight trips with a GF. Think of it as a tour or a side trip.
La Costera / Base Militar.
- This is the beginning of La Costera which surrounds the bay in its entirety. My AirBnb condo was located here and I was very happy with the amenities available to me. There was a Walmart, pharmacies, OXXO Etc. Also the beach was clean for the most part. Once you get too far south towards La Caleta the beach starts to get gritty from pollution. The southern part of the bay is where the cruise ships and docks are located. Downtown is also very close by.
La Condessa / Galerias Diana.
- This is both the nightlife area of La Costera and the cut off point IMHO for a decent stretch of beach. The nightlife mainly consists of little karaoke bars that overlook the bay. I don't do bars for the most part so I can't tell you what to expect. I would guess during high season things could get interesting but sitting around with a bunch of drunk chilangos is highly unappealing to me. As far as freelancers my hunch would be MAYBE but only during high season. Otherwise ACA nightlife was non existent from what I saw minus the weekends.
La Caleta / Old Acapulco.
- This is the part of Acapulco you want to visit but don't want to stay unless you find digs in one of the private homes overlooking the bluff far from the grit of downtown. If you want street girls you come here. If you want to know WHERE they are you talk to me.

What is there to do in Acapulco? This is a vacation spot. If you aren't into the beach or swimming pools you are in the wrong place. You can:
Get massages on the beach 250 mx per 1/2 hour.
Rent a jetski 600 mx 30 minutes.
Swim.
Water Ski (Deep Sea Fishing for Pez Vela (Sail Fish).
Take the Fiesta Bonanza OPEN BAR boat tour for 220 mx. Highly Recommended. You see a lot!

La Quebrada Divers.
Walk around the centro and mercados.
If you don't stay at a nice place with a great pool or beach access you are totally cutting yourself short. You will be miserable. It is all about having access to at least a nice swimming pool. You will be dipping into it a few times a day. Acapulco is HOT. Staying cool in water or air condition is a must. Anything else would be suicide.
Transportation:
I use public taxis and buses with the locals. Otherwise you will be paying around $12 per round trip depending where you go. The good news is the bus system that YOU as a tourist needs to know is very limited and easy to pick up. The best part is rates are on average 10 pesos on the low end and 18 on the high end, Who says a buck doesn't buy anything anymore?
You have:
The blue and white colored school buses that run the length of La Costera. They will say ZOCOLO, CALETA or COSTERA on them. Those are the ones you will use the most. These buses are decorated with elaborate designs and have reggaeton music blasting from speakers. They are quite fun to ride. The bass levels on the speakers are booming. Some even have TV screens to watch booty videos. Others had drug addicted smurf themes and androids killing each other. This is a very cool part of Acapulco culture.
The yellow buses have air condition and run the same route as the blue and white buses. The only difference is these have limited seating. They cost 10 pesos as well but you won't see them as often.
White with Yellow Stripe Cabs. These are very important because they take you out to the Zona Diamonte area. Otherwise you will be paying big time cab fare 300/400 mx each way to get out there. They also run the length of La Costera 24/7 while the other buses stop at 10 pm. You can pay two fares to have the front seat to yourself or else you will be sharing intimate seating arrangements with an unknown local.
The cabs will have COLOSO written on them. This tells you that they go to the area close to the airport. They will take you to the Acapulco Mundo Imperial entrance for 18 mx. From there you will need to change onto a white mini van with an airplane logo on it to go further towards the airport, again up to 18 mx or less depending on where you go. To go back to La Costera you would have to take the white mini van in the opposite direction and change at Glorieta Puerto Marques to continue towards La Costera with the white cabs that have yellow stripes, the ones that you took to arrive at Mundo Imperial.
There are two more routes which may be of interest:
One is the bus that runs up Fallaron de Obispo, the street around the corner from Galerias Diana. I visited a Casa de Cita in that area which was not in walking distance. You would need to get to Galerias Diana first then change onto the red Fallaron bus headed East /.
Then there is the bus that runs up Cuatemoc near the Zocolo. This will take you to the Street Girl area. However I advise you to walk the distance first so you can familiarize yourself with the area. You can catch this bus anywhere on Ave. Cuatemoc.
Shopping:
Acapulco used to be home to many fashionable boutique shops like Acapulco Joe and the brand Cocaine. There are still a few classic Acapulco clothing shops arounds. Emil located in La Isla shopping mall is highly recommended as well as the'Horacio next to La Torre Acapulco on La Costera. There is also an Emil Outlet store located on La Costera right next to the Infonovit building nearing downtown.
The thing to buy are linen shirts, noticeably guayaberas. The higher end stores will charge up to $150 for one but I found a store in centro Todo Precio on Ave Cuatemoc that had them for $28/35. You can also check the odd department stores downtown or Fabrics Francesas which is part of the Liverpool chain. I found some real gems that made hauling them back well worth the effort.
The other thing I found worthy of buying were bathing suits by Mexican or European brands. I'm sorry but some of these surfer shorts look like crap on me and most seem to slide off or are not made in big sizes. Enter RESORT WEAR. You got to love the colors on these things.
Otherwise there isn't much else to buy in Acapulco. I saw the same things in Tijuana only they didn't say Acapulco on them.
Food:
Food can be really good at the different resorts. I suggest you try a buffet bkfst or a brunch at one of the nicer places. After one week of eating on La Costera at local mexican chains like Toks, Vips, Applebees Etc. I started to choose a different resort everyday for lunch and it was a fun thing to do. The food quality varies but you will do much better there than on La Costera. I barely touched the tip of the resort foodie scene. A good idea is too pick up a tourist magazine at a tourist booth. There are many options in it.
Sea food especially shrimps are some of the best items you can order while dining in ACA.

Worth repeating again Acapulco is a vacation destination. Families and lovers with a mix of friends traveling in groups. With that said YES you can still get laid by a hooker in Acapulco. There ares strip clubs where you can arrange something as well as a small centro street scene, escorts and spas / casas de citas.
When I first arrived I turned on Tinder but was disappointed to see how few people were using it in Acapulco. Maybe that was for the better because it was an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Back a few months ago I used it in the Dominican Republic with much success. Civies turned out to be PFP and they were really easy to negotiate with for the most part.

They are located back to back almost in a you shape formation, meaning walk down Belesario Dominguez and make a you Turn at the corner and come back up to Cuatemoc. You get here by walking up Cuatemoc from the Zocolo. Once you get familiar with the area you can get off on La Costera in a location that runs parallel to that location on Cuatemoc. Both avenues run parallel to each other. I would get off at the stop or two after the big Soriana on the right side of the Costera nearing the Zocolo. From there just walk a few blocks to Cuatemoc and you are there.
I have attached to pics of SG locations without the girls out front unfortunately. The one with the Puma Azul sign shows the location of the first hotel on Belesario Dominguez. To the right of that bar you will see girls sitting outside in front of a staircase leading upstairs. Just a few doors down is Hotel Betty where more girls stand.

I did 3 (would have been 4) escorts when I was in ACA. The two websites I used were Mileroticos and Locanto. Both produced good results for me. The quality of the girls were definitely to my liking and I found the price ranges of 1,200 to 1500 mx per hour to be very reasonable.

1. Soleil Spa. Located on Avendia El Ejercito past La Base Militar. You must take a taxi here since you get there by using a ramp turning off the main road next to the military base. I went in and talked to the guy but did not session there. They wanted 700 mx for the use of the spa and massage then whatever you negotiate with the girl. I did not see what the girls looked like.
2. Majagua. Located on Calle Del Prado behind Office Max and Pizza Hut on La Costera. This place was shutdown but use this name and photo I provided as a reference when talking to cab drivers or locals.

Dress:
Shorts and sandals are a must. If you have to stuff yourself into a pair of pants at night let them be extremely lightweight. I used KEEN Newport 1 and 2 sandals. They are even better than my old Birkenstocks. Inclosed feet in tennis sneakers spell fungus in this weather. 100% cotton clothing is required.
Safety:
I went into some hoods where tourists don't go into but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Like in Tijuana the military patrols the streets with machine guns in tow but that is about all. I did not see one police officer on the beach which I thought was really weird. This is in two full weeks of being there. I guess there is some deal going on with the beach where the cops stay out of it. Obviously "things" are sold on the beach so who knows.
I saw maybe a handful of gringos the entire time which was fine by me since prices were geared towards mexicans versus gringos.
Conclusion:
I had a good time. I stayed in a beautiful condo overlooking the bay for $54 a night. The weather and scenery were great and I was able to bounce down memory lane and see my old haunts where I played as a child. YES I would go back but I'the really like to connect with a civie if I do. The place is too romantic to do it alone. I highly recommend ACA as a lovers getaway.

My trip was cut short but here is another little tidbit:
Off to a slow start due to my AirBnB host not servicing the AC properly before I arrived. Waiting on repairmen. Who have my number. Who don't call.
Motel Samil. Hotel del tiempo corto located on an obscure street off La Costera (The Strip) behind and to the side of the Walmart next to Baby -O.
Short term drive. In or in my case walk -in hotel that will call an agency for you for 1800 to 2000 mx then show you the photos that the agency sends them via email. The grounds keeper boasted argentinians and other nationalities. I did not partake since I can do this myself but a good option for those traveling with a GF or worse yet a wife.
Rooms are 180 mx. Service is DAY TIME ONLY which seems to be the case with most escorts in ACA. 8 pm is usually the cut off point.

It was just a regular house in a residential neighborhood. The best way to find those types of places is to befriend a local cab driver NOT in the tourist area. You need to go away from the Costera. If you go downtown Cuauhtemoc you will see one or two girly bars on the BLVD. That would be a much better place to try your luck. I posted photos of them way back in this thread. They open at night and that area can be very dicey at that hour just FYI.
Taxi rates can be avoided by taking public buses. They are plentiful and easy to learn the routes and cheap. I went back and forth from the Zona Diamente for roughly less than $2. From Base Militar to Zocalo was maybe one dollar !

Hello, friends. I just made a drive down to Acapulco from Arizona, USA (about 3500 miles, round-trip), and I thought I'd share my experience.
I'm still not ready to get on a plane, due to Covid, so I thought a road-trip to Acapulco would make for a nice, safe vacation. Initially, I'd planned on doing some mongering. Hooking is legal in Mexico, and I figured there would be some hotties in Aca.
It took four days to get down there. I stopped in Guaymas, Mazatlan, Manzanillo, and arrived in Aca on the fourth day. The roads to Mazatlan are nice highways, but south of Mazatlan the road is a small two-lane country road, all the way. It made for some challenging times (road-kill, speed bumps, police, etc.). If you're driving your own car into Mexico, you are REQUIRED to stop at a visa station just outside of Nogales, to get a permit for your car. If you don't, you'll get in a lot of trouble from the police. The visa station is about 20 km south of Nogales, on the west side of the road. You also need to get a visa for yourself, so take your passport, of course. All fees are paid by credit card.
The vehicle permit costs about $55 (for six months), but there is also a $410 deposit! When you come back north, you need to stop at the visa station on the east side of the road, to return the vehicle permit. A week later, you'll get a $410 credit on your card.
I loved Acapulco! I've read a lot about safety on this forum, and other forums like TripAdvisor. I had absolutely no problems. I stayed in an AirBNB condominium at Torre de Acapulco, right on La Costera. It was a convenient, central location, and right on the beach. $100/ night. I definitely suggest looking at AirBNB's if you're down there. If I had brought a lady home with me, there would have been no issue.
During the day, I walked La Costera and took taxis to various attractions (e.g. The cliff-divers of La Quebrada). I saw no evidence of tourist-based crime. After dark, I retired to my condo.
I had planned on hiring an escort and visiting strip clubs, but the more I thought about it, it seemed too risky during a pandemic. How do you fuck a woman with a mask on? What's the point of getting a lapdance if she's masked up?
But, the people of Acapulco were very cautious with their Covid precautions. Masks were on everyone. When you entered a restaurant, they took your temperature, sprayed you with disinfectant, and made you gel your hands. All restaurant staff were masked up. I felt safer there than in many places in the US during the pandemic.
I don't know if strip clubs are open now. It would make sense that they are closed. I did walk by one, and it was closed and deserted.
So, that's it. I loved the city, and if you're holding off on visiting because of the rumors of crime, set that aside and get down there. Just stay to La Costera at night (residential neighborhoods seem safe during the day).

It's Sept 26 and I'm in Acapulco for a few days now. A couple more and I will be gone. The weather has been hot and humid but the beaches and hotel pools are perfect. I've been vaccinated 3 times and I wear a mask.

If you look back a few posts I mentioned a motel set up near the Walmart off the costera (near Baby-O). They provide girls and rooms. Not sure what the deal is with Covid though. That changes the game entirely. YES if you are not allowed visitors then your room is worthless in Acapulco. I was thinking of going down in Oct but it isn't worth it right now.

The strip clubs seemed closed and their neon lights were dark. So tried to reach them by phone and only Karlota Club answered and told me that open.
When I went to the front door, it was closed, but I could hear music from inside. One man who was staying near the building asked me in Spanish what I was looking for. I told him that I wanted to get inside. He said:
- Do you know what this place is? Inside, you can only pay in cash, no credit cards.
And with the words:
"Tenemos una entrada secreta" - he led me to the entrance behind the parking lot to the right of the main door.

First time trip to ACA. If you know what to find getting sex is simple. I am satying at Hotel Oviedo amazing view by the way for 19 a night hotels.com There are street hookers about 12 minutes away walking up on Cuahetemoc and then hitting a right towards Velamquez de Leon. Its best to hit the streets in the afternoon by 8 pm options are few. However there are a few cantinas around with some decent looking ladies.
I think getting an airbnb is best for us and get one with easy going house rules and should be good. Arrived in Acapulco on Friday from Monterrey. Connecting out of Mexico City airport is always confusing. The Acapulco airport is small. Luggage arrives extremely fast.
Many taxi drivers speak English. Its a big bummer uber is unavailable. Sofar the taxis are reasonable but uber would be cheaper.

Welcome to Acapulco!
Acapulco was a very nice surprise. When I first thought of Acapulco, I pictured a butt-load of young gringos running amuck doing shots and acting of fool. But because I stayed clear of those types of clubs, I saw very few. The only clubs I visited were the strip bars. Otherwise, all I saw was a large amount of Mexican nationals that were on vacation.
I think there were two reasons for the lack of gringos: The state is listed by the US government on the "Do not travel List" and / or spring break was pretty much over when I went; not really sure.
There were a decent amount of interesting things to see and do in the city. It was hot as hell, as well as high humidity during the day, but it slightly cooled off at night.
Very few people in the city wore masks, unless they worked with clients; like hotel staff and restaurant workers. Even then, there were very few in those places as well.
I only saw one church during my trip. But when I was heading towards the resorts, I thought I saw a huge temple or church. Because I did not have on my distance glasses, it turned out to be a big ass bottle of Coca Cola. Note to self: Next time bring your distance glasses!
Why Acapulco?
I'm still slowly working my way through each state in Mexico.
Note: I flew to Acapulco out of Tijuana and back only using my passport card. A passport book is not required.
All the money I quote is in pesos, unless you see the dollar sign.
I used CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. CBX round trip was around 38 bucks. CBX prices are seasonal. They have a low season, regular season, and high season. I crossed during the low season.
After clearing immigration at the Tijuana airport, I relaxed in the lounge for some chow and adult beverages. Returning there was a VIP lounge on the second floor in the airport.
Getting there:
I flew Aeromexico round-trip to Acapulco. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Beware of layover times at MEX! Make sure you have at least an hour layover between flights at that airport! I can't stress that enough. I got lucky this trip because all my flights were on time; what a concept!
The taxi from the Acapulco airport to my hotel was 450 and it was the same cost returning to the airport; both trips by taxis. Traveling each way took around 30 to 35 minutes. That depended on the driver.
Getting around town:
First, there are no Ubers in Acapulco!
I used taxis throughout my stay. Taxis were abundant. Meters were nonexistent. The blue and white taxis had a price chart in each cab and that's what they went by. My hotel had their own dedicated blue and white taxis in front of the hotel. When I was romping through the streets, the going cost per hour was 300. Other cities in Mexico, taxis and Ubers can be had at a cheaper hourly rate.
Hotel:
I stayed at the Fiesta Americana. The place was beautiful and the staff was excellent. I had a great room, it was very quiet, and on the 19th floor. I got a great deal on their website. I paid for two nights and got the third night for free. The hotel wanted me to wear a wristband; didn't happen!
Was it girl friendly? Not sure, but I did bring a chica in the hotel around 5 in the morning. My strategy has always been the same. Whenever I reserve a room, I book it for two people. When I get to the hotel, some hotels will ask me the other person's name or ask me to write down the name of the other person. At that point, I don't say or write down anything. Thus, if I bring in an escort or a bar chica, then if needed, I write down their name. I never had a chica turned away.

I have the North American T-Mobile plan; no worries.

I thought because Acapulco was a resort destination, English would be widely spoken. That was not the case, very little English was spoken, which included in the hotel, restaurants, drivers, and clubs. This was another surprise for me.

Sex: I had some conflicting prices in this place as well. Two chicas that took the short bus to school quoted me 6500 for 30; WTF. I met a blonde hottie (only hottie in the club) just before I left and she quoted me 4000 for 1 hour.

Comments: Because they did not have a menu, I was unable to get the prices for the beer or ficha. I could have asked, but I got so wrapped up in my new soon to be Colombian wife; I failed miserably. Most of the chicas were from Venezuela or Colombia. Unlike other clubs, the place was well lit and there were no dancers, just a bunch of beautiful women sitting around waiting for you to take them out of the club. This is a "must see" club!
The next two clubs were considered unsafe by my taxi driver; hence, we went anyway.

I ran across this next club by accident. I was looking for a certain hotel because I had a date with a chica from Mileroticos. But when I found the hotel, it was full, so I gave the fuck up.
Club: Royalty.

Beer: 60.
Ficha: 220.

Comments: This club was located in Bumfuck Acapulco. I did not have a clue where I was and I was without transportation. I was with a chica and she quoted me 400 for 1 hour. I even had her write down the price to be sure. I thought it was one hell of a bargain so off we went to the cashier. Well, it turned out my chica was a pinche liar and the cost was 4000 for 1 hour. Therefore, I left and went searching for a taxi.
Street scene:
The street scene is limited, but active in one area; El Centro. The two streets are Belesario Dominguz and Velasques de Leon. The three hotels are La Puma Azul, Hotel Betty, and Hotel Leon. I went there around 4 on Friday afternoon. I only saw six chicas. I chatted with two chicas at Hotel Leon, both were asking for 350 for 15 minutes.
Then I asked two chicas at Hotel Betty and the prices were the same. But the chicas there were rude. I said Hello, and the girls were completely immersed in their phones. They looked up at me for a second, and then returned to their phones.
There were two chicas at La Puma Azul. One was quite hot and I told her I needed at least 30 minutes for rack operations. The price was 700 and the hotel was included. So off we went upstairs to street girl heaven. The chica was amazing; one of the best street girls I've ever been with.
There were a few ficha bars in the area with a few really chunky chicas; I did not partake.
Casas:
Every taxi driver talked about the casas in the city. I really meant to go to a couple, but I could not find the time. But they do exist!
Final thoughts on Acapulco:
It was a seeking putas and eating great food trip. I thought the city was very safe and I never felt threaten in any manner. Would I ever return to Acapulco? It's possible, but only after I'm done with all 32 states. Would I recommend it to other mongers? Yep, there are plenty of things to see and do and plenty of monger venues to boot! I had a great time in Acapulco.

Great report Tom, I visited a long time ago but was visiting a Tijuana girl so she convinced me to go to a male strip club. I don't think many Americans visit the city anymore and I don't even think the cruise ships stop their like before. I remember all those Love Boat episodes of them going to Acapulco. I think the biggest visitors are from CDMX especially during Semana Santa.
I'm very happy to hear you didn't feel unsafe at all and they have lots of clubs. I hadn't had it on my list of possibilities due to thinking that they are still having cartel wars. I guess it's just the more rural areas.

Acapulco stopped being a top American tourist draw decades ago, especially for spring breakers, when Cancun took over as king. As you found, it's mostly a place for Mexican nationals now. Unfortunately, some of those nationals have been tied to the drug cartels and got into too many gunfights in the place. Thus the US government warnings about vacationing in Acapulco. But it's fall for American tourism started long before the drug cartel violence with the rise of Cancun. And the bit about the "Arab" roller skaters? That shit made me literally laugh out loud LOLOLOL!

Welcome to Acapulco!
Acapulco was a very nice surprise. When I first thought of Acapulco, I pictured a butt-load of young gringos running amuck doing shots and acting of fool. But because I stayed clear of those types of clubs, I saw very few. The only clubs I visited were the strip bars. Otherwise, all I saw was a large amount of Mexican nationals that were on vacation.
I think there were two reasons for the lack of gringos: The state is listed by the US government on the "Do not travel List" and / or spring break was pretty much over when I went; not really sure.
There were a decent amount of interesting things to see and do in the city. It was hot as hell, as well as high humidity during the day, but it slightly cooled off at night.
Very few people in the city wore masks, unless they worked with clients; like hotel staff and restaurant workers. Even then, there were very few in those places as well.
I only saw one church during my trip. But when I was heading towards the resorts, I thought I saw a huge temple or church. Because I did not have on my distance glasses, it turned out to be a big ass bottle of Coca Cola. Note to self: Next time bring your distance glasses!
Why Acapulco?
I'm still slowly working my way through each state in Mexico.
Note: I flew to Acapulco out of Tijuana and back only using my passport card. A passport book is not required.
All the money I quote is in pesos, unless you see the dollar sign.
I used CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. CBX round trip was around 38 bucks. CBX prices are seasonal. They have a low season, regular season, and high season. I crossed during the low season.
After clearing immigration at the Tijuana airport, I relaxed in the lounge for some chow and adult beverages. Returning there was a VIP lounge on the second floor in the airport.
Getting there:
I flew Aeromexico round-trip to Acapulco. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Beware of layover times at MEX! Make sure you have at least an hour layover between flights at that airport! I can't stress that enough. I got lucky this trip because all my flights were on time; what a concept!
The taxi from the Acapulco airport to my hotel was 450 and it was the same cost returning to the airport; both trips by taxis. Traveling each way took around 30 to 35 minutes. That depended on the driver.
Getting around town:
First, there are no Ubers in Acapulco!
I used taxis throughout my stay. Taxis were abundant. Meters were nonexistent. The blue and white taxis had a price chart in each cab and that's what they went by. My hotel had their own dedicated blue and white taxis in front of the hotel. When I was romping through the streets, the going cost per hour was 300. Other cities in Mexico, taxis and Ubers can be had at a cheaper hourly rate.
Hotel:
I stayed at the Fiesta Americana. The place was beautiful and the staff was excellent. I had a great room, it was very quiet, and on the 19th floor. I got a great deal on their website. I paid for two nights and got the third night for free. The hotel wanted me to wear a wristband; didn't happen!
Was it girl friendly? Not sure, but I did bring a chica in the hotel around 5 in the morning. My strategy has always been the same. Whenever I reserve a room, I book it for two people. When I get to the hotel, some hotels will ask me the other person's name or ask me to write down the name of the other person. At that point, I don't say or write down anything. Thus, if I bring in an escort or a bar chica, then if needed, I write down their name. I never had a chica turned away.
Communication:
I have the North American T-Mobile plan; no worries.
Restaurants:
I did a lot of research before I left and here are my thoughts on the food scene:

Yoyas Very good.
Tony's Outstanding.
La Vicenta. Outstanding.
The street food venders were abundant throughout the city, especially around the parks and the city's one church.
