I just got back from both cities and must say I enjoyed Playa del Carmen due to its laid back atmosphere vs. The highly aggressive men pushing strip clubs in Cancun and commercialism.

I went to Kiss and the girls were hot and from all over. Some were from Mexico, Venezuela and most were from Colombia. The place is chill and I like that the girls aren't constantly approaching you every 5 minutes. I'm sure this was a decision by the management to let the guys approach the girls.

The cost for sex with any girl is 250 for an hour. They have private rooms with showers inside. They will let you use credit cards but you need your passport so they can verify the charge if a charge back is attempted.

Lap dances were $40 and not worth it IMO.

Just to give you some idea of where these clubs are located, Marlin's is on 50th Ave at the corner of Ave. Benito Juarez. 50th Ave is the street directly beside Highway 307 heading south. On directions, it is fairly easy in a taxi, but it near the corner of Ave La Costa and Ave Chichen-Itza. If you are on the main drag of Av Coba, there is a McDonalds on the corner at Av La Costa, that is how to spot La Costa. (there are several McDonalds though, so don't get the wrong one).

I ended up finding their number buried in my notes and was able to get directions and find the place, exactly where you said at the end of Avenida La Costa where it intersects Chitzen Itza. About a 30 minute drive from my hotel near the airport. Number is 9982512556 or 9988962605. Their new place is pretty nice, and there were 6 girls there on a Tuesday night about 9:30 PM. Yes, I did take a cab and ask the driver "chica para massahey" (English phonetic spelling of Spanish words used) at which point he clarified whether I actually wanted a massage or "fucky fucky". The online ads probably use a lot of bait and switch tactics, but you would at least have an easier time negotiating services like BBBJ. There are a number of massage places in Cancun, so if you don't like the girls at one you can always get the driver to take you to another. Cab fare shouldn't be more than $2-3 from where you are going to the nearest parlour and drivers are for the most part pretty honest. What I recommend is find a friendly cabby, ask to go to the parlour, when you get there pay him and ask him to wait "espera por favor" then go in and check it out. If you see an attractive girl, negotiate a price with her. "Quanto yo paga service completo" is your question. You definitely shouldn't pay more than 1000 pesos. It is important to have pesos, any ATM or 'Cajero' will dispense them for a modest fee. And can probably get half an hour for 500 pesos if you are good at negotiating. They will try to soak you for whatever they can of course. If you can't get a good deal you can try another parlour.

The same factors that make Cancun unappealing to mongers may make it more appealing to some of the quality talent there. For those girls that choose to leave their native countries or regions in Latin America to work abroad, Cancun must seem like a prestigious or glamorous place to work, comparable to what Las Vegas or Miami must seem like to many North American girls, and that prestige or perceived glamour may be a factor in attracting quality talent there. The high prices must also be quite competitive in comparison to other foreign destinations for those girls that can earn higher rates. For example, Nati explained to me that she refused to work in Medellin because the local rates were so low, and she chose Cancun over other foreign destinations where many paisa girls go to work because of the higher rates and its general reputation. She nonetheless acknowledged that Medellin must be great for mongers, but felt that Cancun was more advantageous for a girl who can compete there.

Many mongers refuse to accept the notion that sometimes "you get what you pay for," or that there is often a correlation between price and quality. In this case, I believe that this factor explains the discrepancy in price and quality between Mary's Spa on one hand and the establishments that I patronized on the other. You have a pretty good read on Mexico and you can figure any touristy destination within Mexico is going to have a big gringo tax and be expensive. Any border town is cheaper but quality lacks.

I found most of the locations on mx. mileroticos.com and mx. mundosexanuncio.com. As a guerro (white guy), I have never felt unsafe at any of the "casas de citas" (brothels). I found most of the locations on mx. mileroticos.com and mx. mundosexanuncio.com. As a guerro (white guy), I have never felt unsafe at any of the "casas de citas" (brothels). That being said, I have spent a large portion of my life in 3rd world countries and so I am a little more comfortable on the streets here than many others might be. For the non-Spanish speakers I would probably recommend that they don't venture any further west than Market 28 because, while the hotel zone gives the impression that most Mexicans speak good English, the truth is it's actually only a small portion who do. In my limited experience, it seems it can be a bit hit and miss when it comes to the girls here in Cancun. Just a quick review of two "spas" visited on a recent trip to Cancun. First visit was to Kamasutra. Not impressive line up in a not impressive setup. Both Mary and Kamasutra advertise on a site mx. mundosexanuncio.com which is easy to search and posts phone numbers and prices. Requires translation but that's easy these days with Google Translate. This is about right. I will add to it. Correct, If he is staying at an all inclusive your guest will need a wrist band which you receive at check in and she needs to be there when you check in. If it is not an all inclusive the hotel still may not let her up to your room or may charge a very high guest fee. (over $100). Yes RAC will pick you up and take you to the airport and for a compact it is like $70 for 3 days with everything covered.

I doubt you will find casas in the hotel zone, but you can go to several in a rental car, and I did when I was there.

I took a last minute trip to Cancun to get away for a bit. Unfortunately my trip got cut short my the hurricane but I did get about 5 days in town. I stayed at the Marriott in the hotel zone. Nice property and was pretty dead. Covid wise you needed a mask when walking around but not when seated in a restaurant or the pool / beach. Everyone was taking it seriously and the staff was professional the entire time. I think that it is girl friendly. I say might because I am Asian and can pass for pretty young, I also have status with Marriott, and I was tipping the door guys a bit. I just gave the girls my name and room number and they had no issue meeting me. Although I did meet them in the lobby or outside since the hotel is large and they probably couldn't find my room.

I found the girls I online at mileroticos and to be honest it was kind of a shitshow compared to other countries. I confirmed with the doorman that it is 2-300 pesos min to get to and from the hotel zone. So a lot of girls will ask for taxi money, be sure to negotiate the full price before they show up.

The good news is that I was really happy with the girls I ended up with. One was a Venezuelan from an agency that was 3000 for 2 hours. She was a little mechanical and down to business at least compared to the other girls but no real complaints with her except she put on a few pounds since her pictures were taken. Second girl was a local independent that is actually a makeup stylist. She showed me pictures of her work but apparently with no events going on its pretty tough for her. For the most part 5th street is devoid of action during the day, with things starting to light up around 7 PM. However, I was looking for some action a little earlier so went exploring on multiple days. The most promising spot I found with the corner of Fifth and Calle 20 Nte, just a block away from the Hilton. There are several legit massage girls working. Generally wearing some kind of uniform. On a recent visit, hotel Oh! The Urban Oasis was surprisingly good, except for their restaurant. Food options across street, with outdoor terrace tables much better evening choice. Cancun was just an arrival stage ($99 non-stop from NY! On United no less), for interior places, the generic tourist beach hotel zone was not on my itinerary. Mary's Spa gets the job done; if their pricing doesn't break your bank and 120+ your weight range, the girls were friendly, obliging, and actually cute, not hardcore, some without babies. In that neighborhood, there's another spa I had no time to get to, and of course the usual guy offering to show me another place. This was late afternoon.

Yucatan state was on covid status where things closed at 10 pm With clubs and girlfun places all closed. Once things return to normal, Merida will be a repeat destination. In Campeche state, things were open to midnight. Campeche city Old Town is pleasant, though kinda small. In every larger town in this region, there were girls easy to connect with online. Safety and location.

It is the closest to the hotel zone. It is the first stop on the bus route as you leave the Hotel zone at Bonempack (Spelling).

It is the good part of town.

It is easy to find, Two blocks from a major intersection near banks and nice restaurants.

You want just 2 blocks to a normal White House with a lighted sign in red letters for 44 B, can't missing, just ring door bell go in and get a line up.

They are on Facebook change and WhatsApp Chat (both) and they actually answer unlike others.

They hired a professional to clean the rooms, I say her cleaning other rooms typical person cleaning like at resorts. Mine was scrubbed down as the floor was still wet, they said they do it after each person.

All services are offered, just ask, try to get quote before going on Facebook Chat or Whats App (you can make up fake accounts for both).

As for the line up, yes the do cost more than all the others, but you pay a lot more for something at the Hotel Zone (this is really just 2 Blocks past the zone).

Remember Pleasure Palace that was closed (see old post) s. Many moved here, they used to charge 5 times more than others.

Line up was real good, go after 2 PM, go after 8 PM for The Top Tier girls. I suggest going before dark though if possible in any place like this.

It opens at 9 am But you are better off waiting until after 2:00 to insure all the girls are there.

As always if they quote you $150 dollars counter with $1, 500 pesos. Mexicans almost always will accept the 10:1 conversion and it saves you 20.

Does anyone have recommendations on a reasonable but good dental clinic in Cancun or the area that could do a great job and save me some money? Or is Tijuana the place for it?

I finally made the weekend trip to Cancun.

Here is the summary.

Flights: outgoing (to Cancun) uneventful, return flight because of the new rules took about 1. 5 hours in the airport to check in with a paper covid test attestation form which precluded electronic check-in and required to wait in a huge line at the counter.

Passport control / customs: uneventful in Cancun or returning to the USA.

Airport transportation: I took ADO bus from the airport and back to the airport. Cost was about 110 mexican each way. In retrospective I wish I would have ordered a taxi, which costs about $20 when ordered ahead of time from one of the taxi services, but becomes $40 on arrival.

Communications: I bought a Telcel sim card at Oxxo near hotel, was very simple. Cost for the card was about 50 mexican, and I added some credit for an unlimited data plan for a week, that cost an additional 100 or 150, I don't remember the details. Was way more than I needed.

Hotel: I stayed at Hotel Kavia Plus downtown. It was super cheap (about 120 usd for 3 nights) room had a balcony (which I love), and a nice view from the rooftop terrace. It also has a rooftop pool. No problem bringing the girls in, or inviting them to come. Either they sneak by the front desk, or I meet them by the entrance, or they show up and front desk calls me to ask if I am expecting them. It's about 10 minutes walk from the ADO bus station, about 15 minutes walk from Mary's and Healthy Body. It's not a very beautiful part of town, but it's very practical. Don't expect luxury, but it'll be clean. And it's next to Parque Las Palapas, which has a ton of local food and non-foreign tourists (Mexicans want to visit Cancun, too) so that's a great benefit.

Uber: Uber is NOT AVAILABLE at the airport, however, it IS AVAILABLE in the city. But there is not a lot of Uber cars, so I ordered it twice and cancelled twice when it was taking more than 10 minutes for it to arrive. I also put in a request from downtown to the airport, the system took it, the quoted price was something like 200 Mexican. However, it is a feasible option to get around.

Girls houses: I just went to Mary's and Healthy Body. Mary's had a wonderful soft somewhat older girl (I think her name was Donna?) - white skin, large and very soft equipment, very huggable, and I think she enjoyed the experience too. I paid the basic fee (1200?) and declined all upsells. (that took a lot of persistence) The basic includes CFS + CBJ, but nothing else. She wouldn't even let me suck her nipple. If this isn't an option you would probably find top notch work in Merida much cheaper than Cancun. I lived in Merida many years ago and can attest to everything being much cheaper than Cancun. However, I certainly don't mind making a trip to Nuevo Progreso to save a few grand on the drillings.If you are up to making a trip for just dental work Nuevo Progreso is a sure bet. The entire town survives off of dental work and Farmacias. Lot's of dentists there, all very well trained. The last major work I had done there was a root canal and crown. I paid extra to have the permanent crown installed the next day. Drove down early in the morning took about an hour and a half for the root canal and preparation of crown. The impression went to the lab that day. Got a room at hotel Las Flores which is a nice hotel for about 40 USD per night. Spent the evening then the next day about 1 PM the permanent crown was installed. Total cost for the dental work was $410 USD. Price that in the USA. Also if you have US dental insurance you can submit the receipts and get reimbursed. I have always used the Rio Dental Office. Just as soon as you cross the bridge turn right in the first plaza and it is straight ahead. They actually are about 20% more expensive than most but the work is flawless.

Michael.Your three choices are McAllen, Harlingen, and Brownsville. Nuevo Progreso is tucked between McAllen and Harlingen, with Brownsville off to the southeast. United Airlines and American Airlines service all three airports. I think even Sun Country services only Harlingen. Be sure to shop around, as McAllen has the most flights per day (and probably better fares), while Harlingen and Brownsville have fewer flights and (probably) correspondingly higher prices.
