I share the same opinion. If you do not have any other business to do other than mongering, one of the main attraction to travel to German FKK is the price. If you could get similar option in front of your doorstep, why bother travelling miles away??

From Ovaro, kilometer 3 to 4 is more than 19% average steep and same between 6 and 7 , climbing nearly 400 meters in only 2 kilometers if You are able to understand what it is. You US and Aussie Zurich, just try and You will then know this is not same level of sport. According to professionnal athlets and most will never climb Zoncolan or Mortirolo or even Prato up to Stelvio or Agnelo or la Bonette, but almost all tell most difficult sport, when with my 20 years tours when I improved a lot and climb the steepest legends, I think only marathon is harder, but professionnals run 2 or 3 marathons per year, when I climb on day and after Mortirolo when I left Mazzo at 5 pm on Sunday, I drove for 9 hours home, through Bernina and Julierpass. It makes a huge difference how fast you go. There are thousands and thousands of people who post their rides on Strava and you are not even in the first half of the 55-65 age group based on times recorded on Strava.
Congratulations for realizing that a 5 minutes max effort is not the same as an hour effort. The difference in intensity is huge. Since you have never been on a running track since high school, there is absolutely zero chance that you run a mile in 5:00 minutes at age 55. Even more so when you said that you have a ticker problem.
I certainly believe that you don't train. Serious amateur runners run all year long, in the peak preparation phase for a race they run 50 - 100 km per week, with at least one session a hard interval session. That means running 400 m, 800 m, 1 k repeats over and over again. If you don't puke during the session you didn't run hard enough.
Since one of your arguments for a 5 minute mile is that I don't know Freubad (when I never said I did), here is an unrelated point from my side. With all your talk about cars and tuning, you clearly don't understand how engines work when you said that turbo or supercharged engines lose more power with altitude compared to naturally aspirated engines. Serious amateur runners run all year long, in the peak preparation phase for a race they run 50 - 100 km per week, with at least one session a hard interval session.
