Was in Ensenada about a month ago. We checked all the strip clubs out, and it seems all the girls were offering it up for a price. The best place to go however, is "Anthony's"!! they had the best looking girls, it was a little more pricey than T.J. but well worth every penny(peso).

I hope this gets to you in time, but heres the info.
From what I have read prostitution is legal in Mexico, but is regulated. I believe there is some rule against prostitution in bars or maybe brothels or some such thing, but nobody pays any attention to this regulation. The first time I went into Anthony's and walked past a Cop at the door (I know it was a real cop because he had gun and nobody, but cops walk around with a gun in Mexico not counting drug dealers of course) I actually felt a little more secure. No fear of a raid or some such stupid thing.
The only good place (especially for a newbie) in Ensenada is Anthony's. It's hard not to see Anthony's as you drive into town, just look for the big gorilla on the road next to the bay. Some maps are available at the web site quoted in the post just before yours. Look in the Clubs for Hombres section. Some of the prices are a little out of date, but not too far off.
The bar fine is $14, I think the 30 minute room next door was $12 or maybe $15. The girls range from $60 to $100. The younger they are, the more expensive. Check the photo section here for Ensenada. I took all of these pictures last year and more since, but this site quit accepting new pictures for some reason.
About incall services. When I was registering at the San Nicholas hotel a couple months ago I asked the bell hop if bringing a visitor to my room would be a problem. He immediately countered with "Do you want me to get you a girl?" I said no, but it leads me to think you might have the same results by asking. Incidentally, some hotels are girl friendly and others are not. The Villa Marina is definitely OK, but the hotel just across the street from Anthony's is not. I found this out the hard way one night. I fixed the problem with a bribe, but it sure ran the price of the room up!

I started out the evening at Paris de Noche at about 9pm. (Nov. 13) I had been there once before a few months back and wasn't very impressed, but I wanted to see if I could find a good alternate to Anthony's. sales pitch for a lap dance. She said $15 and I could touch her anyplace. She was very young (maybe 18-20) and pretty and quite small so I decided to play along - after all it was only $15. After she takes the cash away from the booth and returns she then asks for another $$15 for her since the other money was for the bar. I wasn't liking where this was going, but I didn't want to write of the first $15 so I gave in and we got started. At least she was true to her word and I got to touch everywhere I wanted, but I stopped short of getting a finger in. The song didn't last but a few minutes and she says she's done, how about a tip? This time I decline and return to my seat at the bar and Jennifer. This was the type of treatment I expect at a US strip joint and I'm not about to put up with it in Mexico. I won't fall for this trick next time. I ended up buying Jennifer three drinks at $10 each (she admitted that she got $5 each for herself) which is exorbitant, but still it was a nice start to the evening. I asked what the bar fine cost and she said about $20. She said she was from Guadalajara and had been working there for 12 years. I didn't ask her age, but I'm guessing early thirties. I ended up spending almost $70 at Paris de Noche with very limited results.
From there I moved on to the real thing in Ensenada - Anthony's! I arrived at about 10:15 and the crowd was a little thin (because it was a Wednesday) in both girls and mongers. I got a booth on the right and started looking over the girls. Since I don't smoke, I try to avoid smokers so when I spotted a beauty cruising around with a big smile, I was disappointed when she lit up. I moved my attention to another girl who caught my eye who was dancing in front of the stage with her friends. The girl I had noticed earlier had been moving around from table to table chatting with the other girls, but when she landed just a few feet away from my table I realized I wouldn't be able to pass on this beauty just for the sake of cigarette smoke. After returning to the table I think she brought up the question of going to a hotel, but in truth I don't remember how the subject came up, but the asking price was $80 (I would have paid $100) and no time period was mentioned. After just a few seconds to keep her from thinking I was overly eager I agreed. Still we didn't go immediately as has been the case with previous girls at Anthony's. We stayed in the booth and talked for a while. At one point she mentions that the guy in the next booth was trying to get her to abandon me and join him, but she politely declined. I guess he wasn't too disappointed because he lit her cigarette a few minutes later. We eventually left the bar and drove to my hotel the San Nicholas. This is the second time I have brought girls back here and neither time did the desk clerk give me a problem. Once in the room I asked for a couple of photographs and she complied, but she put on a pose that didn't reflect her true beauty. I think she was making a joke when she asked if I wanted her clothes on or off, but of course I said off. I always find it difficult to tell when they are joking. Something else a little different about her was her desire to be under the blankets instead of on top, said she was a little cold. No problem though as she felt plenty warm to me. Spent a little time in Jacarandas, which was okay - they had a couple of long-legged dancers and the show was sometimes totally nude. Paris de Noche was a real pit. Denny's had several fat girls, and only one decent looking girl. She put on a good show, and since me and a buddy were the only ones at the stage tipping her, she came to join us for a drink after her set. First time to Ensenada. A buddy of mine has a boat at the "90 Day Yacht Club". Decided to check out Anthony's having read all the reviews and queried all my friends about everyplace else. Arrived around 9:30pm since all tell me not to go before 9:00pm. Evening started out slow. Lots of "6 rated" girls dancing by the band. A few "7-8" rated chicas sitting in booths together and not mingling well. I am used to Cost Rica where providers have a rugby match trying to get to you first. Even in TJ the girls seem more aggressive at AB for example. So this laid back attitude was not appealing at first. Eight beers and three hours later things got more interesting. All the good looking ones "sitting and waiting" suddenly got more attentive after midnight. I guess they thought they needed to go home with some money in their pockets and it was only Weds. just went to ensenada. visited anthony's and was rather disappointed. the women were mostly in their 30s or late 20s. it looked like a laid back adelitas in tj on a very slow day. not many women to choose from. i could not get turned on and passed. there are a few other bars with mexican chicas but i did not check them out since anthony is supposed to be the main one. and
as to the cruise ship dumping l a women, i say don't get your hopes up too high. the cruise ships only stops for half a day and most women and men only go to ensenada for a few hours. unless you are speedy gonzales and can work up some magic in a few hours, your chances of scoring with an l a women is next to zero.
also most women are with their families. you have a better chance at cancun.

Going back to Ensenada on May 16th to 18th. Just wondering if anyone has tried any call girl or escort services and could make a recommendation. Girl for late afternoon swim by the hotel pool, dinner (Punta Moro for eating swordfish) and overnight stay (for eating Tuna!) This is kinda fun to do in Costa Rica once during a trip and thought it might be worth a try here too.

My experience with Ensenada is that you have to walk from bar to bar to find a good one. There is always one or two that have some solid 8-9 girls dancing but it seems to change from night to night. Last weekend I hit 7 bars to find the winner. Last month I only needed to visit 3 before the jackpot.
Saw many SW along the track but mostly TS. This seems to be the norm. I keep hearing about the back alley $10 bbbjtc but all I see are trolls and TS.
this was my first visit to denny’s and i really was not expecting much. i thought to spend enough time to drink a beer and watch some skanky dancers and then on to anthony’s. denny’s is on the corner of the main tourist drag and the zona roja street so i was able to avoid the guantlet of freelance touts and streetwalkers of questionable gender. i bought a beer as i entered and it struck me that the bar was much smaller than i expected. i had read it had a raised stage area for the dancers, but then i realized that the bar was in an l shape with the bar as the short part of the l and the longer part contained the raised stage which had several poles to help the dancers show their stuff. there were only two working girls sitting at the bar, but around the corner a young skinny girl was dancing and there were another three girls sitting along the wall. i was not impressed by any of them. oh well, it pays to keep your expectations low, as i had, so i was not too bummed out about it. i took a seat along the wall and got adjusted to the dark, hot space. this place could really use some air conditioning! the skinny dancer finished her set without taking off her g-string and another chubbier girl got on stage and started her set.

I am a regular contributor to boards in CT [Bridgeport] and RI. I am making a West Coast swing during the holidays also. I`m not going to have too many nights out. I can squeeze one out in Ensenada though. From what I have read, I`ll hit Anthony`s when i hit town. If pickings aren`t good, Denny`s looks like a second choice. But are they near? Is it walking distance?
As this other message below me asks, we would appreciate some names, guys. Do you go to a back room or what? I won't have a hotel to bring one back to.

I've been going to Ensenada for several years and the scene there doesn't change very much over time so the info I posted earlier is still good I'm sure. Denny's is only one block from Anthony's and can easily and safely be walked. Anthony's has access to short time rooms outside and around the back for about $12 (for 30 minutes) the last time I used them in mid 2002 so the price may have gone up. I don't know how it works at Denny's, but I'm sure they have some kind of short time room available. Stay away from the Men's Club directly across from Anthony's unless you have money to burn and the quality is not any better. There are some other clubs down the street from Denny's, but they are very hit or miss and there are many touts and he/she street walkers to deal with. If you want the exact (or more probably approximately) details do a search for Ensenada Night Life and you should be able to find all of the Men's Clubs listed.

I had to write this report since it was a crazy way to spend New Years eve.
First off, I was in Ensenada with my Brother and his wife on New years eve. We got to Ensenada around 11:30 pm, and were headed to Papas and beer to party down. The nice local Police stopped us for making an Illigal U-Turn, which was not Illigal, but that is what they said. My sister in-law is mexican, so she argued with the police, and told them to take us to the station. I was half drunk, and they tried to tell us that even though i wasn`t driving, it was the same thing. At the station we waited about half an hour, while all the celebration was going on outside. When we finally got to the part to pay the fine, it was 32 pesos. In dollars it was 3.00. What a waste of time. We finally got to Papas and beer, and it was going off. There was this girl with giant tits dancing all around with different guys, and I told my bro that she was going back to the room with me. I didn`t know if she was working or not. She ended up dancing with me. She told me she was 22 years old, and that her brother owned the bar, which I didn`t believe, but she did know everyone there. Around 2am she said she had to go home, so i told her i wanted her to go back to the room with me. She said to go outside and we would talk about it. I was in Ensenada in mid-December; my stay was definitely not as interesting as Fishin Fool's! However, I did check out Anthony's and Denny's. There's really no comparison between the two; it's apples and oranges. The women of Anthony's are gorgeous, for the most part. I spent some time talking with Cristina, who hails from Mexicali. She offered to come back to my hotel for $60. Foolishly, I declined.
Incidentally, a previous poster had mentioned that Anthony's is on the main street. It's actually one street west (i.e., towards the bay). I scoured for it along Lopez Mateos and kept wondering why I couldn't find the place!

I went to a massage parlor called Escorpions the other day. You can get the address and telephone number out of any of the free newspapers in Ensenda. (That's how I found it.) I had saved the ad with the intent of putting the number and address in this report, but I lost it. It is located in the southern part of Ensenada past downtown. I just called on my cell phone and the girls directed me there. (I live in Baja and have a Mexican Cell phone so this wasn't expensive for me.) It is a house on a dirt street in a residential neighborhood there is a sign identifying the establishment on the outside. There were about 7-8 girls on the afternoon I was there all young 18-20 and very friendly. Unfortunately, I did not find any of the girls attractive. YMMV. The house fee is between $35-50 for a massage depending on whether you want bikini, topless or nude. You negotiate full service with the girls after you get to the room. I don't know the asking price as I did not partake. Instead, I went back to TJ had an early dinner at Anthony's and then went to Chicago a location for which there are ample reports.
I am headed down to Ensenada over the weekend (Friday night the 13th until mid-day Sunday). Can anyone give me advice on where/how to get laid for $50/hr. I really like a full hour as 30 minutes is just too quick. I cannot afford the high-priced spread, but would really like to hook up a couple of times.

Just returned from Ensenada, where I stopped in for the afternoon. Deny's/El Pescador is open, although I was told by the bartender that the dancers don't get rolling until 7:30 p.m. or so. There isn't any SW scene in Ensenada to speak of. You can find the occasional SW milling near Miramar and Lopez Mateos, around the Paris or Jacaranda clubs, but it's the exception rather than the rule. Further east on Miramar you may find a couple more SWs, but you're more likely to find drug dealers and TV/TSs.
The problem is that Ensenada has no separate zona rosa, and the clubs like Anthony's and Jacarandas and Paris are right smack in the middle of the tourist area on Lopez Mateos, so they try to be discrete and keep a relatively low profile. Drugged out SW's soliciting in miniskirts in full view of June and Ward Cleaver, not to mention Wally and the Beave, don't do much for the cruise ship trade in Ensenada. As a result, there are few if any visible SW's hanging out in those areas.
Anthony's (the place with the gorilla out front) is ground zero for finding attractive chicas in Ensenada. It will cost you between $60-100 for the girl, plus the bar fine, to get her out door. Normally, the Anthony's girls are okay with coming to a customer's hotel room, but most of the tourist hotels are only a couple of blocks from A's, so it's relatively safe for them. I don't know how they'd feel about heading out to a trailer in a campground.
After a recent trip to the Ensenada manfacturing companies, that my company sent me on, I drove and stopped in downtown on my way there, the down side is was before noon. Anthony's was dead, but Deny's had a wonderful treat in store.

Most of the car rental companies do not allow thier cars to be taken into a foreign country. So you should check to make sure they allow it.

I've rented a vehicle from Hertz, about a year ago, and driven into TJ. I asked around and it seems Hertz is the only rental company that will let you drive the vehicle into Mexico (within 50/60 miles of the border). They charged a little extra and had to purchase the mexican insurance.

I decided to walk around a little more this trip and talked to a guy on the street who saw me observing the local "wildlife" in it's habitat (motel balcony). He asked if I was looking for a chica and I said yes.

You might try San Nicolas(sp?)$60/night, its pretty nice and is girl friendly too. Its also pretty close to downtown - 3 minute drive to Anthony's. Beware of the hotels along the tourist strip as it can be very noisy at night.
Much higher end is El Coral on the way into town - about $100/night.

Not the best selection but when you have had a bit too much to drink and don't want to handle your own business they will work it for you.

Redhat is correct about the SW scene in Ensenada. If you go east on Miramar past Trece Negro and take the first right heading south, there are a couple of blocks where SW's hang out in the daytime and early evening. They will usually be long gone by 10-11 p.m. They quote $20-30, but everyone I've asked will go for $20. The hotel they use (on the west side of the street) looks pretty sad, but it's comparable to the SW hotels in TJ. For $6 you get a relatively clean room, a bathroom with hot water, towels, and soap.
But be advised that these SW's are a pretty scruffy group and you have to be really Jonesing for sex before I'd recommend heading over that way. But it's an option.
The occasional SW also hangs out between the old Afro-Bar and Paris, on the north side of Miramar just east of Lopez Mateos. There won't ever be more than a couple, and often they're TV's. So use good judgment.
Another SW option is fairly new. On the sidewalk by Anthony's, a couple of SW's were hanging out this weekend during the late evening. I didn't discuss prices with them since they seemed to have an attitude.
Also, near closing time, some of the Anthony's ladies have been filtering out into the entryway to the hotel next to Anthony's to troll for customers if they haven't gotten any business inside during the evening. My friend picked up a good looking gal he had seen earlier inside Anthony's this way last Friday night at around 3:15. The next night, I stumbled over there around 2:30 (Anthony's and all the other bars except Paris close at 3 am), and met a very cute Anthony's lady who had left the club around 11:30 because the number of customers was low and she thought she'd stand a better chance outside. For both my friend and me, the ladies quoted the standard $100 Anthony's rate for going to our hotels. Mine discounted it to $80 if I opted for the hotel next to A's. I did and had a great session.
Apart from the street scene, Anthony's still provides a wonderful setting to make a selection. But you may have some sticker shock if you're used to TJ prices. Before 9/11, $100 was the going rate at Anthony's. After 9/11 the bottom dropped out of the market, and I was arranging dates back to my room for as low as $50. Now, it seems, the price has gone back up, although the market is still depressed for the chicas. They can be bargained down to $80, but it's hard to get them below that on the weekends. During the week when it's slower, you might have more success negotiating a lower price.
The other options are the strip clubs like Deny's/El Pescador, Paris, and Jackaranda's, all located on a one-block stretch of Miramar, east of Lopez Mateos. All three are comparable in offering in club privados where YMMV depending on the lady, the night, the chemistry, and the size of your wallet. Most of the strippers will go to a nearby hotel or your room, but you have to pay a bar fine of between $15-20 to get her out the door (unless you arrange something after the bar closes). And there are some very nice looking women in these clubs.
I only spent a moment in Trece Negro, but it was 80% drunk guys, and all the ficha girls were taken. So I didn't get a chance to test Redhat's theory that they're available for take-out. But there are a couple of other ficha/stripper clubs in that vicinity, e.g., Las Cavernas, where buying a ficha drink will provide you with some serious mileage. But these are very Mexican bars where the girls do not speak any English at all and you'll probably be the only gringo in the place. If you don't feel comfortable with that, stay with Paris, Deny's, Jackaranda's, and Anthony's.
Finally, there is a beauty salon across the street from Anthony's on Miramar. It looks like a normal beauty salon, with posters of ladies with different hairdos, etc. But this weekend we were told that it was $25/half hour, $50/hour, for the basic massage, and that anything else you arrange with the chica after that is up to you and her. Sounded promising, but unfortunately, there were about four chicas there, none of whom were interesting. Just another option that's floating around out there.
The thing you must remember if you're headed to Ensenada for the first time, is that almost nothing happens in the bars until late in the afternoon or early evening, and everything closes tight as a drum (except for Paris) at 3 a.m. So you have a limited window of opportunity, unlike a place like TJ that's open for sex 24/7. So figure out your game plan for the evening, do your research, put on your game face and get out there. Ensenada's a wonderful town with friendly people and the chicas are lovely.

Was there for several hours on a cruise stop, didn't see many Chica's at all. Though I have been to several other places in Mexico, I would have to say that Ensenada was rather clean. I thought it would be dirt like a border town, and was happly surprised that Ensenada is not. Sorry I don't have nothing more to add because I was there during the day, and like other post, all the action picks up at night. I understand from reading the forum that the places like Anthony's don't pick up until later at night.

Your daytime options are pretty limited. Read my earlier report for a fuller explanation. A limited number of SW's operate in the afternoon about three blocks east of Lopez Mateos and south of Miramar. As my earlier post indicates, they are not a particularly attractive group of ladies, but they are friendly and cheap.
A few clubs, like Jacarandas and possibly Deny's/El Pescador (both on Miramar at Lopez Mateos), have limited afternoon action that's very "hit and miss" when it's there at all.
There is a "beauty salon" between the Malecon and LM on the south side of Miramar, that looks just like a beauty salon, but also offered "massage". I didn't partake, but a friend investigated and indicated there were several slightly gorda chicas who offered to give him a massage. We suspect extra services could be had for extra dinero. But again, this is unconfirmed. Most of the other "salons" offering massage in the LM area are legit and quite expensive, catering to cruise passengers who want to be pampered.
Unfortunately for cruise passengers, Ensenada doesn't really come alive until after the cruise ships have departed for the night.

Just came back yesterday from Ensenada. Anthony's was slow, but the HOT FOX was a great time. They have rooms upstairs for private sessions. C for CBJ, Under CC for the whole shibang. I have loads of fun at the HOTFOX on the corner of Ruiz Ave & 2nd St. There is also Paris De Noche on Miramar between 1St. and 2nd. Strippers are usually friendly but it will cost you about 10 singles for each drink you buy them while they play with you at your table. Also, if they see a big group arrive the girls will swarm you like bees, so make sure you and your bachelor buddy are at the front of the group so you can choose the hottest girls first.
Some of these places have private rooms upstairs for your pleasure, though you'll have to pay the bar about 50 to take them there in addition to what ever deal you work out with her. About 50 for CBJ. C for everything else.

There were 6 of them hanging out next to Anthony's and Hotel Santo Thomas. There was Michelle, a very good looking blonde. She was fun, affectionate and very enthusiastic in bed, like a tigress girl friend. She gave me her phone number and encouraged me to call next time I am in town.

Just stay at San Nicloas Hotel or La Pinta. These places shold not give you shit about late night chickas...And these are nice and clean rooms to hang in. It's about 1 mile away from the main drag but that's what taxis are for.

I went to Ensenada on a wednesday and there were hardly any people in any of the bars or restaurants on the main tourist strip, Ave Mateos.
Anthony's was dead, there were maybe 6-8 girls and about 5 customers. All the girls were a bit older and slightly overweight for my taste so I only drank half my beer and then left. Maybe it's better on weekends?
I stayed at Motel Casa del Sol right on Ave Mateos excellent location about a 10 minute walk from Anthony's. Weekday rate was $50 and it was a nice room. It had a great looking pool. While in Ensanada for a few days I went to Anthonys. It was as good as it gets. Every beer I drink they brought me free tequilla. The chicas were 5 and 6, not realy fat chics. I stayed next door at Hotel 49 for 27 bucks. When they close at 3am I got a chica for 45 bucks for 2 hours.
There are several clubs on the same street as Anthonys: Cosomo Paris. They were ok but I can't pay over 50 bucks. Never have, never will. I also think the local clubs are good possibiltes.
The 2nd night I stayed at Hotel Rio. I payed 15 bucks. 1 more thing, there is street action past Negro 13 club. On the right there is several chicas that work out of Hotel Delnorte. 20 bucks and 6, 00 bucks for the hotel. I went during the week, it was kind dead. It is no TJ.

I walked over to the Paris de Noche around 6:30, and found that I had arrived before any girls were on stage. While watching the first a cute and slim young girl sat next to me and began making nice. On Wednesday I wanted to see if I could work out another date with my previous acquaintance from the P.D.N.

Went down to Ensenada feb24-25 for fishing but got in too early for the boat. Friend of mine took 2 of us down to Noche de Paris to kill time and have fun. Place was "dead" according to him as there were maybe 15 girls working half were 6 or better the other half were below 4's. I don't hit many of these clubs so...

No sob story of anyone dying, not married, no kids, a sister who's a cop, a brother in high school, she supports her family but says money's ok.
Ok again not stupid but I wasn't wearing my rolex or dressed as if meeting the president either, I was wearing jeans, a sweatshirt, and timberlands. She gave me her cell phone number, email address and now know where she lives.
Is this normal? What gives? I'm above average looking, clean cut, and a doc, but no way she could know this.

Forgot to mention, when my girl was "working" I spoke to the other girls my friends were with and got the 411. I was told the VIP room was a 2 for 1 dance about 6 minutes for $20. A dance means you get to touch and kiss almost as if a "sample before you buy. "
You then literally wait in line as someone upstairs checks you in (you get a number) because there are only 2 "couches. " After the dancer will ask you want you want. They have dancers dance for about 3 sets and then parade all the dancers around the stage as if you were at an auction. The auction is the 2 for 1 dance and whatever else you want to do. I don't know what the "bar fine" people speak of, maybe it was included? But my buddy didn't have to pay for the "room" or a "fine".
We got there around 11: 30pm but around 12: 30-2: 30pm the place was packed and guys were standing 3 deep at the bar. During this time there must have been at least 10 girls that came to work. I'd say be picky because there were only a handful of 8's in the club and they were very busy. Majority of the guys were mexican locals but at least a dozen americans as well excluding us.
I'm going down in 2 weeks for more fishing and some "french food" as well so I'll get another report out.

However, I have been back to the Paris club since then and seen her doing the same thing with other guys. So, guys, beware...Ceci is very hot, with a killer body, but she is very manipulative. I don't exactly understand her motivation, whether it's the attention, or that she is interested in a "sugar daddy" or what, but this appears to be her M.O. The motivation of these girls 99.9% of the time is related to money. If she gets you to think you're her boyfriend it's easier to manipulate you. For example sooner or later she might call you for money for her sick kid, mother, father or whoever, who needs medicine, an operation.. etc. Bottom line you're more emotionally attached and more willing to give her money if she can make you think that you are someone that she cares about.
All these broads know what they are doing and that is to get the most cash out of you as possible. They will try anything to manipulate you to part from your funds; they will make you feel like you are their only "saviour"; they will make you feel cared for as they caress you and gently kiss you; they know many married American mongers no longer have the 'romance' in their marriage so they treat you with the closest GFE they can give you to make you part with your dough. I know this because in my 10 years of marriage I have fallen for this trick and have spent much cash on these women only to go home and 'jack off' to a memory instead of taking them 'upstairs'. If this is what you want then spend the $10 drinks on them, or the $1000 for the operation their dear old mom has to have. Otherwise talk business with them directly, but nice, and they'll give you the downlow of what you should expect.
There may be some cases of having a stripper/prostitute as a girlfriend, but no matter how much this may excite you she will still view you as a dollar bill.
I must admit that I did have a great time though. Women are just plain wonderfull!

Myself and two fellow lizard brothers have just returned after a brief tour of the pink underbelly of the Ensenada strip circuit. Three good looking older men of means with an eye for the ladies and a near insatiable desire for fun. Ensenada is rapidly becoming one of the top destinations for our kind.
My first comment is that the general class of gals at all of the clubs we visited seems to have generally improved since we were last there four years ago. The selection of clubs has improved a bit and they all seem to have become "homogenized" in that they all have floor shows and private entertainment at all levels, whereas they used to have a particular edge over other clubs(better drinks at 1 place , better floor show at another, better looking gals, more levels of adult entertainment etc.).
Deny's/Pescador used to have a girl we called the Aztec Death Goddess - just coyote ugly - and some of the clubs had somewhat lifeless girls. This time we were all impressed with the general professionalism of the clubs. The gals at the clubs in Ensenada are near world class level. Some of the floor shows were even interesting - especially Hot Fox - where there's a babe with braided hair that can really circle the dance pole.
We noticed that Anthony's now has this large podium where the dance floor used to be but nothing else much has changed. Our two favorite spots is Anthony's and Hot Fox. My comrades really liked Hot Fox, which I thought was nothing particularly special - usual loud, old music (I think I heard the old Doors songs about 8 times in one night). But they have the upstairs where I know safe sex is not always practiced - $100-120 for everything - inc. sex onsite. I would rate these two clubs as having the better gaggle of girls.
Anthony's offers a more relaxed meeting atmosphere, as you can see the girls dance on the floor together, or at a bar for drinks - and I think this is OK as not every ho is a good dancer. . There was a younger ho in Anthony's - Sunny - who I still think about - never actually hooked up with her but she was young 20's and almost fresh looking. Isnt it funny that the one's I was with (which were great) don't stay on the mind like "the one that got away."
Anthony's fees: $100/$20 Bar fine/$15 room fee (hotel behind the bar) with Anoche and Hot Fox being near the same. The street gals are still around $40-60 plus a room - and they line up after dark. No experience to report there but a taxi driver tells us that Anthony's girls are relatively clean compared to all the other clubs.
Suggestions:
I read that a lot of guys are looking for some kind of GFE with these gals. If you really want a GFE you're better off just meeting a non-working gal. We've been doing this kind of thing for 20+ years now and we're here to tell you that you'd be looking for love in all the wrong places - so forget the GFE and just be happy with a BJ or more
Best hotel I have found in downtown is the the Mission one - forget the exact name - but there's usually a $49.00 nite sign - it's the big one, near the water - it's really a great deal.
Taxis are good to use - never drive at nite in Mexico and always have minimum insurance if you do. If you get stopped without insurance I hear the cops take you to the police station. Bribe your way out of any police problems ASAP - if you get into the system you're in trouble. If you're brought in on a slight traffic offense, no problema, but anything slighty serious - pay the guy. It's not illegal to offer a bribe in Mexico but it's illegal to accept one - so do it discreetly.
Don't drink non-bottled water down there.

If you get stopped without insurance I hear the cops take you to the police station. Not true. Liability insurance is only required in Mexico if you are involved in an accident. Bribe your way out of any police problems ASAP - if you get into the system you're in trouble. If you're brought in on a slight traffic offense, no problema, but anything slighty serious - pay the guy. The cops in Ensenada and Tijuana as well, always make threats to take you to jail or impound your car but it's only a tactic to scare you into paying a bribe. If you stand your ground they will usually back off. If not then you'll have to see the judge and possibly pay a fine.
On the other hand if you know that you have done something wrong that's more serious, like DWI or possessing drugs, then it's best to pay the cop a mordida and be on your way.

my holland american cruiseship docked at ensenada and let passengers ashore about 7:45 pm (on 5 march - sorry for the delay). i walked through the souvenir shop on the dock by the side of the ship. right on the other side there were $2 shuttles starting a little after 8 pm that went to the main shopping area, which is also the main mongering area. in fact, the drop off and pick up spot was just around the corner from anthony's disco. this is a very good thing too, because street signs were conspicuous by their absence.

The truth was that I was trying to stop in the middle of the intersection when I saw the cop pulling up in his old Nissan Sentra. He told me $60 fine or car gets impounded, costing extra... I asked for a break. He reduced the fine to $40. I paid the fine and got back my car key. It took about 45 minutes.
6 AM the next morning, a cabbie took me from the hotel to the fishing boat. The whole town was still sleeping, there was virtually no traffic. He did something wrong on the same main drag, ended up with a motorcycle cop on his ass. He got a ticket. He was shaking his head, lamenting that the ticket was worth a couple days of his wage.
My impressions are that Ensenada cops are very strict but not corrupt. Whereas bribes are expected in Tijuana, you may get nailed for attempting to bribe in Ensenada. Just stay out of trouble and drive perfectly when in Ensenada.

That winter fishing trip I got a dozen ling cods which is the white-meat fish somtimes called lizard fish, about 10 Lbs each. They are fightsy and good eating. A few Japanese fellows brought along wasabi, soy sauce and beers. At half time, we had a good sashimi party with the big bonitas they caught. In the summer I've caught large calico basses and tunas.
Check out the package deals to Cabo or Mazatlan with Alaska or Mexicana. Flight and hotel sometimes cost only $350, double occ. for 3 nights. Go during the summer months and you are sure to catch a few marlins, mahi mahi and tunas. Bring along a large cooler and haul back deep-frozen fillets. Could last you a few years.
I like the raw-clam cocktails sold out of food carts at every street corner in Ensenada, fresh and delicious and never gave me any stomach problem. The fish tacos in Ensenada are delicious with all those fresh fish from the fish market. Make sure you ask their prices before partaking because some of those seedy restaurants around the fish market charge very high prices.
I usually eat at the biggest sea food restaurant named 'Puerto Nuevo?' where you can sit on the sidewalk on main tourist shopping street. The place is cleaner, the food is better and prices are the same if not lower than the dirty places around the fish market. There are a few good restaurants in town.
Of course when night falls, I party at Anthony where they give you a shot of good tequila with each $3 beer. It's nice to hang out with your fishing/drinking/fucking buddies and flirt with the chicas. Anthony has been remodeled as a strip club aiming at the gringos' taste, not a Mexican dancing club like before. There are a few stunners here. The chicas here are easy going, costing $100, not the fast-fuck machines like those in TJ. A few mongers have been mentioning the La Noche de Paris with good talents. I will check it out next time.

I was in Ensenada summer 2006, and I fished ol over from shore or Kayak, mostly Halibut Yellowtails, bass, and bonitos, the girl action is poor to fair, selection and looks not the same as TJ, but better than nothing I guess,

If you're going to be staying there for six months or longer, I recommend an ex-patriate community next to the Casa Country Bar. It is just south of downtown over-looking the ocean. Three thousand pesos a month got me a 900 sq.foot one bdrm./two bathroom furnished house. A great deal plus a good bar with pool tables and dancing within the community of some 150 homes or so.

Arrived in Ensenada around 10: 30 pm, parked, hit the fish taco stand, and headed off to Miramar St with 5 buddies in tow. Avoided Anthony's because of a bad experience with their "free tekillyou" shots. Buddy of mine was seriously poisnoned by that stuff.

I used to live in Ensenada. If you're going to be staying there for six months or longer, I recommend an ex-patriate community next to the Casa Country Bar. It is just south of downtown over-looking the ocean. Three thousand pesos a month got me a 900 sq.foot one bdrm./two bathroom furnished house. A great deal plus a good bar with pool tables and dancing within the community of some 150 homes or so.

Is there a safe and secured expat community in Tijuana? Anywhere near La Zona Roja?
I know of a lot of burglaries of the homes and apartments in TJ. Would love to find a place to crash with the chicas.There are some ex-pat communities just north and south of Real Del Mar (the best(ocean view from 12 holes) and hardest golf course I have ever played). Also, I would stay away from Rosarito. It is a small shit-hole town that is invaded on the weekends by kids and has high-crime problems as well as water-rationing issues. I believe that Peurto Neuvo (lobster town) is also a growing American community but is quite far from TJ.
One last thing. Don't take those shrimp cocktails for granted. I live in Monterrey, MX and all they give you is a glass full of fuc_ing catsup and bay shrimp. If I can remember correctly, forty pesos used to get me cooked shrimp juice, onions, catsup, clams, oysters, gulf shrimp and depending on availbililty, sea snails. That, and a couple of 50-cent ceviche tostadas, and a meal couldn't get any better.

ThanksBuenos Aires. I will be there in March. If you have any recomendations for furnished apartments there, please do tell. I have nothing but good to say about Ensenada. Although the women there are somewhat fat and subpar compared to other mongering destinations, the value still persists. Some friends that I still keep in contact with there have told me that their economy is slowing, as they are heavily contingent upon SoCal tourism. I believe that TJ resident Country John has also made an inference as to such in one of his recent postings. Regardless, your dollars should do quite well. As for housing, sometimes you can find vacant trailers in mobile parks that the owners will rent to you on a month to month basis. Also, there is a very nice condotel that will rent to you a furnished studio apartment at $800/month about a half mile south from the Caliente Sports book/casino on the same side of the street. The hotel is located just south of the downtown tourist section and is across the street from a trailer park and two blocks away from the main drag. There are also four dance clubs located within two blocks of the condotel.
I have spent some time in TJ, Rosarito, Cabo, La Paz, Todos Santos and even lived a week in a nothing town called Punta Baja which was right out of an old Clint Eastwood western. Ensenada would be my only choice. Also, there is a large contingent of ex-pats that hang out on Thursday nights at an Italian retaurant directly off the strip underneath a full-service massage parlor. It is owned by an Australian lady and her Mexican husband and I would recommend going there as you will encounter pro and non-pro action there.
If you choose Ensenada as your destination, you will have a great time.

I was in Ensenada in early December for 3 days on business and had a little time to check out the scene.
I spent most of my time at Mirage, a locals strip bar, I was the only Gringo in the place when I was there. There was a couple of cuties in the mix of about 10 to 15 girls working. I spent most of my time with Gloria from Veracruz or Tampico (I can't remember which), a little Morena spoinner with a cute little ass and A cups. Great dancer an the stage and on the lap. She also works at the Hot Fox, at least that Saturday Nite she did.
I don't really recomend this place. The waiters are very agressive on selling the 100 peso lady drinks, especially the heavy set guy, he wouldn't back off and would bring them before you ordered. I finally had to just get up and leave. Ricardo was pretty good, he was new and maybe hadn't quite learned the ropes yet. He also had worked as a welder in the OC for 13 years and kind of liked talking to a gringo. More come soon.

His wife Betty and her sister run that entire camp. Real nice people. About a half mile south of there is a casa in a residential area that employs about six or seven chicas. If you take a right on the first street you run into after leaving the bar and head south past the Oxxo, you will run into a guy that sells shrimp cocktails and ceviche tostadas off a food cart on the same side of the street. The house is right around the corner from him. He has been at that same corner for ten years, and he knows of other places as well. Anyway, one hour is $40 plus $20-30 tip. Also, there is a good MP in the center of town near the rotunda, hospital and all-you-can-eat chinese buffet right on the main street. It is in a strip mall and it masquerades as a beauty salon. It is only good for HJ's, but a great value. An hour and a half for 650 pesos and the massage is excellent.

Yes. The girl that owns the casa speaks fluent english as do some of the workers. You can also get a pedicure and a manicure there if that is your thing. I can't remember the guys name that has the cocktail cart, but he also speaks fluent english and is a real nice guy. He mght be able to get you into the private casa that your foreman may be talking about as I have been there myself. And yes, you have to be referred. Tell him your friends with a long-haired asian guy (make up a name) that lived there a year and a half ago at the Casa Country camp that frequented the casas de citas two or three times a week. Mention the word puneta with an accent on the "n". He'll know exacly who you are talking about. Also, there is a low-key strip club nearby the Casa Country Bar. Just head straight after you leave the bar until you hit the main drag where you see the money exchange center on the corner of the Gigante shopping center. Take a left and go north about a mile just past the Santander bank. On the right hand side is a strip club that offers reasonaby-priced take-out. Good selection on the weekends.

Got into the city 2 nights before the new year and boy was it slow. 1st stop was PDN but it was slim pickings around 10pm with a lot of looks from 6's but nothing real worthy. Headed to Fox and found the $3 cover was gone and for good reason. Place was dead with one 9 running back and forth between tables.
Left to go to Cosmos (across the street from PDN) and BAM! Within 1 mintue the three of us had girls on us. Luckily mine, Sheri from Vera Cruz, was an 8 and a little spinner. If you are coming in from TJ on Interstate 1, that road will turn into Lopez Mateos. Drive past the fish market (Ensenada's version of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf) and look for the Caliente Sports book on your right-hand side. The restaurant is directly acroos the street on either Riverall or Alvarado street. It is less than 100 yards from the Caliente. The ex-pats only hang out there on Thursday nights. By the way, the massage parlor above the restaurant is pretty much worthless although they do offer F/S.

Before I go out on the town I usually hit a "Pastor" style taco stand (they carve the meat off and grill some tortillas for you) on the left side of the street before you enter into town. It has a HUGE CocaCola sign and is adjacent to a gas station. Place is always packed and the tacos are $1.
There is also the best fish taco stand visable from the street light (the 5 points area across the large intersection from Anthony's. You can literally pull up and park right in front of the stand. They're open until 1am or so. There is a mother and daughter working there ALL the time. They have a huge board with a massive amount of stickers behind where they cook.
The last place we eat is MARISCOS BAHI A ENSENADA on Riverole St. Not too far from the fish market (but across the street). We take our fresh catch (rock cod and sheephead fish) there and for $8 they cook it up and serve it with all the fixings any way you want.
Everyone we know eats at these 3 establishments and are always packed and have never been disappointed. We even drive down just to eat the tacos sometimes when we get the cravings!
Planing on being in town Jan 19 and 20. 18 in TJ. Recent posts convinced me to try out Ensenada. Been around Ensenada (4X) a bit but was always with the X. Will be fun to get around single! Headed down to Ensenada Tonight for another fishing trip...Taking the camera so hopefully I'll get some pix up with a full report.
We'll see if Miramar has some life in it yet.
I visited the week before the race and it had been a while since my previous visit (6 months). Anthony's was dead, they only sell 1 beer (Tecate) and the chica selection is poor. I try to fit in as well as any other gringo can but this place has really gone downhill. If you walk 2 blocks east to the Negro 13, they have a few local gals working as comfort and dance girls and usually 2 or 3 pro's working the bar. Give it a try, also at the end of this block you will find a selection of street girls. Some good some bad but all cheap.

I don't know if people are looking in all the wrong places or visiting older clubs that are dead but the 411 is way off. This past weekend was off the hook. I avoid Anthony's (Gorilla Bar) like the plague because they serve "free Tokillyou" and Denny's because it's scary and filled with locals. I checked out the other clubs mentioned from "Ruby Max" (it really is closed) to the new club in front of Hot Foxes (Called TD's). TD's is brand spanking new but had "thick local girls" working and when we went in, they starred at us as if they were hungry zombies!
Ok, enough bad 411 and drama. PM me if you want to know whats up with Ensenada. I don't do many reports but all are legit and personal experiences not second hand information. I'm in Ensenada every other month so when I post, it's literally yesterdays information.

Arrived Sat June 14th 9:30pm and hit the infamous fish taco stand Mariscos "El Mino" next to the harbor. Where Wahoo's got their inspiration! Got in earlier than expected so around 10pm we walk down Miramar. Avoided Anthony's, Denny's, and a couple locals to get to Paris de Noche. Paris is so packed there isn't even standing room so we cross the street to Cosmos.
Cosmos has some 6-7's with two girls having literally perfect asses. Not to many frankentein jobs, most were natural. Maybe 9 girls working with a party of 4 Gringos (looked like the beach boys reunion) taking up 4 of the top prizes so after 30 min were off to Foxes.
Foxes was a pleasent surprise. This place went from dead (last visit) to having 15 girls working the place that I could see. There were pleanty of 7-8's with a couple of 9's working 20 people max including a group of local girls having fun. Girls were nice and many spoke english well. Surprising. Lots of girls that looked no older than 18. The one that sat with me had braces and her name was Destiny from Ensenada. I left after buying her a ficha because it seemed like she wanted to dance more than anything. Off to check out Paris.
Paris again is standing room only so I call over a waiter we knew "Mike" and he pushes people off a table. I don't know why we ever waste time in other clubs because if there is another "adelitas" in Mexico, this is it. Minimum of 150 guys packed in there with at least 40 girls working this club. I'd say the girls this time around were minimum of 8's and 90% were natural. Fichas are $10 and beer is $3. Waiters speak fluent english but we still use hand signals due to the 110db music! Ok enough background crap.
I picked two girls one a spinner and another a trophy. Went up with the spinner 5'2" pretty flat up top but had an incredible face and tight body with a bub cut hairdo. Now that I'm back from my trip I want to pass on a few tips about Paris that I believe you'll find useful. As of today the official exchange rate is 15. 27682 pesos per $1. I was able to find a forex that gave me 14. 95. For simplicities sake we'll operate under the assumption of 15 pesos/dollar.
Since I'm a gringo the club workers (bouncers, waiters, strippers) would all quote me prices in dollars. 12$ for a girly drink (ficha), 30$ for a room, $100 for a girl. However, I started asking for prices in pesos and insisted that was all I had. What I found was that the clubs employees were all using a 10 peso/dollar rule of thumb. This was independently confirmed through interactions with several different employees as well as the experiences of my friend.
This meant the fischas were now 120 pesos, a private room was 300 pesos, and the girl was 1000 pesos. However, b/c we had exchanged our money at a 15 peso/dollar exchange rate the prices we payed were 8$ for a ficha (still a fucking ripoff), $20 for a room, and $66. 67 for the girl.
I'm not sure if this 10 peso/dollar thing is a general rule of thumb they always follow or if it changes per weekend. Regardless I think taking the time to seek out a decent forex and then when inside the club insisting on paying with pesos is the way to go. It can't hurt, just clarify with a few calculations (use your cell phone if you have to) that you're getting the better deal, and if not miraculously "find" some dollars.
Oh and one last thing. Those waiters will fucking hound you to buy drinks for the ladies (they make a commision off of these) even when the girls drink is half full. Just tell the girl you'll tip her 10-20$ if she doesn't drink her drink (she makes a commision as well) or buy it yourself at the bar. The girls I interacted with didn't really seem to have the waiters best interests at heart and were willing to go along with it. Fuck those guys.

Many thanks gents............LDPWell there is no shortage of places advertising massage, but all the places I dropped by appeared to be legit (although I feel I should mention I stuck to the nicer areas of town). However, if you like a good massage it is worth it even if it doesn't end happily/dirtily.
My recommendation for obtaining information would be to go to the cigar/liquor stores, buy something, then chat up the owner. Or if you're in a restaurant and your waiter seems "with it" ask for his recommendations. My experience is that these guys were more than happy to give their opinions on such matters.

Does any one know of any casas around the the town? I have been working In Ensenada for the last 2 months a few days a week, can't find shit, only fat mexican chicks that I am not interested in. My buddy immediately found a chica with a big rack, and a great ass! Not much negotiating to be had here as he was in love. She wanted 80usd for 15 minutes. Since I had never been to this place, I had no idea if this was the norm. My guess is this was high due to the increased gringo traffic, and I would've walked. However, this is what and who my buddy wanted, so I was not in a position to tell her to get lost.
Once my buddy came out with a smile on his face, we had to jet back to the boat. We bought our new friends an 18 pack of tecate, thanked them for the tour, and just made it back to the boat in time for departure.
I wish I would've had more time to explore the city, and apologize for the vagueness of the post. This trip was sorta last minute for me. I wasn't expecting my buddy to be down with the mongering scene. Walking back to the shuttle, he said he now understood and fully appreciated, why I do what I do. Another successful conversion!

I believe there are a few choices by bus to ensenada. The way I know is go to the bus terminal right after your cross the taxi stand (old entrance / old turn styles / Mc Donalds) as soon as you get into mexico. You will need to think "old entrance" to figure this out. Not hard to find or ask " La terminal de Autobuses hacia ensenada por favor". You go across the street (past the taxi stand) then to the left up a few hundred feet to the left of Plaza "VIVA" Tijuana. You will see a few signs for bus companies on marquees located in what looks like a mini mall. It is actually a bus station. Forgot which company it is but one gate / ticketing area sectioned off by itself services ensenada. It should be the first one to the right if coming from the old entrance into Tijuana. Cost is roughly $25. Buses leave all day until 5pm I believe but verify.
I've heard bad things about cops the further south so watch yourself. I'd love to find a poetic hang out away from Tijuana but nothing in the near vicinity seems promising. I hope you prove me wrong. Good luck and have fun.

So, follow artisstyp's guidance, I took a look when I passed the linea this Monday, yes it looks like there is an office to go in and take care of government stuff, so that puts my mind at ease.
But while I was walking through the overpass to the sea of taxi, I noticed another office that looks like it was processing something, not sure what the heck that is.
And I am still trying to figure out if the banks are opened for me to make the payment, if it is, I will try to go to revolution and find one of the banks to pay.

No idea about Cabo but why don't you visit the Central Camionera in Tijuana and check out all the bus companies schedules and prices.
Around $120 to Cabo one way and look for promotions if any by various bus services, I recall this from this summer. No promotions at that time or discount in play.

I just came back to san diego, so I apologize if the info is too little, too late.
Anyway as artist mentioned, the bus station is an easy 10 block walk on the main drag, any local can point you in the right direction.
My ticket from ensenada to san ignacio costed me USD 111, which is a tad pricey, you 'may' be better off going to Tijuana and getting volaris air and fly to cabo directly but check online for pricing before you do as they fluctuate quite a bit.
If you happen to have a student I'd, buses are automatic 50% off, but remember to dress comfy as it is a long ass ride.
Cabo is not that great for mongering, but if you are trying to get a mix of civilian action (nubile college chicks, or just locals) , cabo is a good destination for that.
Have fun.

If you haven't yet paid the fee, you will need to do that also. Generally speaking, any Mexican bank can take the payment.

Here's a couple of recommendations. I like the Villa Fontana Inn near the corner of Lopez Mateos and Alvarado. It's secure with gated parking and you have to go through the reception area to enter after hours. The fee is around $55-65 usd per night but you get a discount with a AAA card. Just don't make reservations online if you want that discount. I think you can only apply the AAA discount with walk up payments. Makes no sense to me but that's what they they told me. You might want to call before to see how full they are. You might get away with going down without reservations as I don't believe Christmas is a big tourist week in Ensenada. The rooms all have A / see and heaters too. A little less secure but way cheaper is the Hotel Bugambilias. It's on Avenida Macheros half a block down from the main drag. It has cameras on the entrance for the lobby person to watch your vehicle but I wouldn't want to leave a BMW or Jaguar there either. I take my average vehicle in there with no worries and have never had a problem. I think it's around $35 usd per night and is simple and fairly clean. I feel safe the times that I've stayed there. Both are girl friendly and the Bugambilias is super close to all the strip bars. I might be going to spent time with my civilian girlfriend Monday but I'm not positive.

Paris seems like the top strip club / chica bar right now. A main stage when you walk inside then another stage in the back room. Very dark with plenty of girls, but too many ass implants for my tastes. The DJ and music are way too loud even for Mexico standards! Saw one or two dudes sitting at the rail wearing earplugs. It was very crowded late night with SoCal bros in town for the Baja 500.
I never did a private dance. My Mexican friend did and said it was only $13 US for one full-nude song with lots of touching. I was expecting $20 per song. No info to pass along about the VIP rooms. A few hookers and transsexuals were working the street when we left. Plenty of taxis available.
I was in Ensenada last week and did find a bar / strip club with some good action. I don't recall the name of the spot, but it is on a main street downtown. Was able to get 2 girls at the same time for $70. It was great porno style action in a room attached to the club. Wish I could recall the name of the spot, but if you have skills and that monger sense, it won't be hard to find.

1. Travel from Tijuana to Ensenada via ABC bus, cost 185 and leave the Otay terminal every 2 hours starting at 6 am. Returning last bus is 8 pm and same departure schedule. Trip time around 1. 5 hours.
2. Stay around ground zero near Hotel Santo Thomas, I used a cheaper sister property, Hotel Caribe, like 320 with free breakfast. Stay backside much quieter. Other cheaper motels around.
3. Paris de Noche is the numero uno location. Best selection arrives after 8 pm and all types, 2 x private dance was 250 and 1500 for full service in sofa room, 30 min. Some girls charge more. Beer was 40 and fichas 120.
4. The owner of Paris runs 2 other locations on same block. Meseros will hang out from the other locations on corner of Primera and Miramar. Chat them up they are not aggressive like in Tijuana. I like the selection of the girls in the other bars. More laid back, fun, less hard core and cheaper. I took one to my hotel for 1600, exit fee included for an hour.
5. About 5 blocks away is Charlie's Bar, across from Hotel Bahia parking lot on Alvarado. Strip bar with hit or miss. I was told full service was 1300 in the little rooms have a bed. Nice.
6. Anthony's across from hotel ST was not busy any of the times I stuck my head in but was told freelances go there.
7. On calle tercera from miramar, turn right on tercera, two blocks is a little hotel with street girls in front like in Zona Norte. Nothing interested me so did not investigate.
8. Across from Paris de Noche is another hotel with SGs called Hotel Calafia I think. Did not investigate.
9. I liked the vibe in Ensenada. More small town like with the people more laid back. Fishing to be done and alot of relaxing during the day. Good seafood options. Did not search for beaches, if quality ones they would be out of town as the port always contaminates ones in town.

Kinda quiet thread so decided to add my couple of centavos. Note all costs will be in pesos of time of writing.
1. Travel from Tijuana to Ensenada via ABC bus, cost 185 and leave the Otay terminal every 2 hours starting at 6 am. Returning last bus is 8 pm and same departure schedule. Trip time around 1. 5 hours.
2. Stay around ground zero near Hotel Santo Thomas, I used a cheaper sister property, Hotel Caribe, like 320 with free breakfast. Stay backside much quieter. Other cheaper motels around.
3. Paris de Noche is the numero uno location. Best selection arrives after 8 pm and all types, 2 x private dance was 250 and 1500 for full service in sofa room, 30 min. Some girls charge more. Beer was 40 and fichas 120.
4. The owner of Paris runs 2 other locations on same block. Meseros will hang out from the other locations on corner of Primera and Miramar. Chat them up they are not aggressive like in Tijuana. I like the selection of the girls in the other bars. More laid back, fun, less hard core and cheaper. I took one to my hotel for 1600, exit fee included for an hour.

I went to Ensenada tonight. (1) The bus is great, and super easy. I took a cab for 5 dollars of revolution, the ticket is now 200 pesos. I asked several taxis / uber (yes there is uber in Mexico if you didn't know) and couldn't find a quote below 1300 pesos. The bus has AC is actually super nice. Tell the cab driver you want to go to the ABC bus station near the boarder. Circa de the Mc Donalds.
I went to Paris, I talked to a mesero on the street and didn't pay a cover, he got be right in. The beers were $3 and up. The girls were not as hot as Hong Kong, but there a a few that pretty for sure. The private dances were 16 dollars 2 x for 1. Which is higher than reported. They have that rate printed out on these cards, I asked for how much in pesos and they told me 300. You pay that to the house not the girl. Plus they are very demanding about a tip after.
I forget how much the chica drinks costed, but I bought two and they were a great deal. Basically gets you a full touch table dance. The opening price from 1 girl was 120 dollars, but I imagine she would come down. I asked another girl and she said tres mil pesos, LOL. Just about any hotel in Mexico would allow bringing female guests.

But the night reception guy said it's OK to bring girls in, just not too many. Day time there were 2 uniformed security guards armed with Glock pistols and knives patrolling the roughly 30 rooms surrounding a parking lot. Windows all had wrought irons so the hotel probably had seen lots of crime. In comparison, hotel Hacienda, right in downtown on Alvarado and Calle Secunda, with freshly painted exterior and nice, clean-looking rooms, had a big sign for vacancies for 280 pesos, but it was not listed in any hotel sites. A Carnival ship docked at the Malecon but very few cruise passengers were seen on on the main Blvd Lazaro Cardena or in the tourist traps on Ave. Adolfo Lopez Mateos. Trinket shops had virtually no cruise passengers, completely opposite the scene last year. Malecon was far less busy, nearly deserted, unlike other Saturdays. Seafood market and trinket carts had perhaps 10% foot traffic as last year. Don't know if the threats of Coronavirus on cruise ships had anything to do with it.
Marriscos Guerrosense food stand on Miramar, endorsed by celebrities like Anthony Bourdain, was not crowded. Shrimps in coctele were large but tough, tasteless, probably Costco's frozen, 90 pesos for a small cup compared to a larger and much tastier 50-peso cup in Tijuana. Mariscos Guerro food stand, also on Miramar, corner of the main road, Lazaro Cardena, was more popular with about 3 x customers standing around on sidewalk. Found the best food deals among the 2 dozens restaurants right on the malecon, an AYCE lobster buffet for $25, and 10 fish tacos for $1, but there were very few clients even during the lunch hours.
By 2 PM we decided we had enough of Ensenada and wanted to go back to the hot girls in Tijuana. Drove back on the rainy, winding toll road, through downtown Tijuana, stopped in the sea food markets on Calle 6 to buy a load of live clams. Got to HK about 3 PM. Gave the car to valet parking and got inside the club, nice, clean, warm, welcoming, fun, entertaining with almost unlimited selection of girls in all sizes and shapes even in the early Saturday afternoon. Very run down, with rusty, leaky roof, peeled paint and rotted wood on walls, filthy floor, loud karaoke music in the morning, sticky tables. I did not try the food. Areas outside of Central downtown are in general decline with run down houses with wrought iron over windows, rotted streets, busted sidewalks strewn with trash. The town feels very low class and depressing. Visitors should stay in the downtown tourist area, nice, clean, safe.
Saturday it was cloudy and sprinkling. There were no floats or parade as posted in various internet sites. We were again fucked by false advertisements in the fake internet. A Carnival ship docked at the Malecon but very few cruise passengers were seen on on the main Blvd Lazaro Cardena or in the tourist traps on Ave. Adolfo Lopez Mateos. Trinket shops had virtually no cruise passengers, completely opposite the scene last year. Malecon was far less busy, nearly deserted, unlike other Saturdays. Seafood market and trinket carts had perhaps 10% foot traffic as last year. Don't know if the threats of Coronavirus on cruise ships had anything to do with it.
Marriscos Guerrosense food stand on Miramar, endorsed by celebrities like Anthony Bourdain, was not crowded. Shrimps in coctele were large but tough, tasteless, probably Costco's frozen, 90 pesos for a small cup compared to a larger and much tastier 50-peso cup in Tijuana. Mariscos Guerro food stand, also on Miramar, corner of the main road, Lazaro Cardena, was more popular with about 3 x customers standing around on sidewalk. Found the best food deals among the 2 dozens restaurants right on the malecon, an AYCE lobster buffet for $25, and 10 fish tacos for $1, but there were very few clients even during the lunch hours.
By 2 PM we decided we had enough of Ensenada and wanted to go back to the hot girls in Tijuana. Drove back on the rainy, winding toll road, through downtown Tijuana, stopped in the sea food markets on Calle 6 to buy a load of live clams. Got to HK about 3 PM. Gave the car to valet parking and got inside the club, nice, clean, warm, welcoming, fun, entertaining with almost unlimited selection of girls in all sizes and shapes even in the early Saturday afternoon. My 2 wingmen bagged 2 and 3 girls in the few hours we were there and still lusted for more. We agreed HK is very nice, fun, sexy, civilized place worth spending time and money.
Ensenada was a big disappointment for both girls, food and eyesores sightseeing this time. There may not be a next time.

The seafood stands and restaurant row are on Ave. Alvarado heading straight out to the malecon plaza with the tall flag pole.
Also hotel Hacienda in downtown on Miramar looks nice and clean for 280 pesos. See the pic.

Hotel Santo Thomas is a few doors away at $53, with balconies where you can cook your sea food, or just eat lots of fresh sashimi off the fish market, washing down with lots of beers. Fresh seafood is abundant and cheap in Ensenada.
It's a very nice, clean, safe area with lots of good restaurants, including an AYCE seafood buffet for $10. Would be fun to bring your girls here or come down with a couple guys and pull in hot local girls t party. The Baja500 race is win the third week of June. Would be a lot of fun.

It's been some time since I've been but I'm positive it's still the same. Drunk Americans wanting to spend money is what makes that city stay alive.

Any action in Rosarito?Only strip club I've been to there is Bad Girls and it lives up to its name (and not in a good way, at least from my experience). Girls were bad in literal meaning of the word and the bouncers and staff were pretty scummy. Maybe I went on some odd days, I dunno. I have a couple girls in town I've met that I hit up once I'm there or day game around town. On my last trip during Thanksgiving, I drove down towards Ensenada and took the free road through little towns, stopped by some local bars and got a couple numbers from tourist chicks. Ended up getting with one of them the following day.

I don't want to drive out to Tijuana everyday for fun if I can find it local. Milerticos seems to be the best site, but not sure if it is any better than others. If you have another service to share, please let me know.

Unfortunately Ensenada is nowhere near Tijuana in the sex and fun department after Anthony's, the best strip club in town, was burned down, likely for not paying taxes to cartels.
The few strip clubs remaining now, like Paris at Night, have half dozen old, obese, extremely ugly women who want $50 lap dance and $300ST, what a disgusting joke!
I usually stay at hotel Santo Tomas on Route 3, corner Miramar, huge free cover parking with security guards. It's the most convenient location to walk downtown, across the street to the trinket and fish markets, malecon, cruise pier, and restaurants on tourist trap. Double rooms about $65-70 with balcony looking out to the parking yard. We brought electric pot and skillet, bought sea food and shell fish cheap and fresh from the fish market across the street, made our own food, drink and party all day on the balcony.
Restaurants in Ensenada are far worse and more expensive than those in Tijuana. Being a fishing town, seafood in restaurants are not fresh and fish tacos are a joke. That's why we made our own seafood with all fresh ingredients in the hotel. Restaurants are expensive except the AYCE Churrascaria do Brasil North of downtown, about $20 per head.
Miramar street next to hotel Santo Tomas is dark and had street girls, some pretty hot, but the hotel is very strict against bringing hoes into their place with security guards patrolling. You can take them to ST motel Las Vegas across the street, $8-10 for an hour. It's a bad idea to walk or even drive too far away from the hotel to the East side after dark. The whole town is dark and deserted after cruise passengers are gone. Policia patrol aggressively against cartel guys. We were pulled over 3 times within 12 hours for policia to check and make sure we were not gang.
Guys mentioned casas with hot girls South of town near beach for locals. Talk to young cabbies. They might know.

Captain, you say that the Hotel Santo Thomas is "strict" about bringing girls up. Would there be an issue to TLN a girl?

I registered my girl on arrival at the hotel, they gave me no problem. But she dressed conservatively. As long as she doesn't dress like an obvious puta and you convince them she's your GF, you have the right to stay with her in your room. The hotel is full of families, cook, drink, party in the parking lot during Baja races.
Security guys block both front and back gate, know what putas look like, especially street girls working on Miramar Ave next to the hotel, not allowing them to enter. One night I snuck a girl past security but got stopped by reception at the stairs and the girl was refused entry to my room.
I once drove an Anthony ST girl past the front office of hotel Villa Fontana, no problem. She changed to a pair of white jean and color top to leave the bar. Rooms are smaller.

Also check out San Nicolas Hotel and Casino, the Best Western El Cid, or Hotel Eiffel in Ensenada. All are nice and you shouldn't have any issues with your TLN girl, if she arrives with you at check in and is dressed conservatively, as Captain said.
I've checked in at both the El Cid and Hotel Eiffel with girls without any problem. San Nicolas shouldn't be a problem either.
I think the only problem you'd run into is trying to bring an obvious street girl back to your hotel.

They used to have a pretty good live band that played American music and the girls were funner than Hell. Place has been closed and burned down for years. I went to Paris De Noche one night and they just rip you off big time. Ensenada in my opinion is only good to take a girl you already know. There are a lot of fun bars there and a few decent restaurants. Other than that, it is a waste of time.
