A brief report on my week in GDL. I arrived late on Sunday. On arrival, made some calls and in half an hour or so, this rather tall lady shows up at my door. Though not really my type, I figure what the hell. Ball buster. She had this thing about yanking the crown jewels, cracking them together. My god, I walked gently the next day. She's on my do not try again list.

Ok So one thing about strip clubs in GDL, they are a complete waste of money. There are definitely some girls there that are ready for some action however the price is usually not worth it. One exception to this is a club called boom boom. I went in this place one time and there were absolute monsters on stage. Roaches all over and to be honest I just could not wait to leave. Out of all the girls there only one was hot. I few days ago the story was completely different. I was convinced buy a group of friends to give it another shot because you can spend well over 8 hrs there for less than 100 dlrs. I took the bait and I am glad I did.
When I walked it I was shocked to find that there were about 15 Hot girls working. Beers were about 2 dlrs and to buy a girl a drink it was only about 6 dlrs. That is about how much a regular drink costs in the states so I was happy. If you don’t know how it works in Mexico lady drinks can be as much as 30 dlrs. I was there with a few friends and there wasn’t a time where there was less than 2 hot ladies at the table. So here are the prices my friend got a BJ in the back for 150 pesos if you want full service it is about 65 dlrs. The bill came at the end of the night and I thought the guy dropped a phonebook on the table. The bill wasn’t even 80 dlrs each. This night in the states would have easily cost us 2, 500 dlrs. We tipped the waiter 20 and I thought he wanted to blow us. The trick is to keep these guys happy and they will take good care of you. He kept the linebackers away and only brought the girls we asked for to the table. In short the Boom Boom was great one time and terible one time but it is cheap and you can have some fun without breaking the bank.
You should do what I usually do when out of my hometown of Morelia and staying at a nice hotel. I keep a mongering room at a decent motel de paso so that I can take care of all my "needs" at the motel and keep a decent reputation at my swankier hotel. This way, there are no embarrassing security problems and I'm assured to get any chica I like with absolutely no hassle. Went out mongering on a Sunday evening in el Centro in Guadalajara. It was Sunday night about 8 PM--traffic was a nightmare in el Centro, so I was already in a bad mood. I picked up the local sports newspaper “Esto,” from Guadalajara which has two full pages of ads for working girls. I called Julieta (her ad stated in Spanish, cute university girl, smart with good attitude, little and thin, a great lover). She would not come to my house, only hotels—so I passed.
Next, I called Jessica (her ad stated 19 years old, promotion 700 pesos for 1 hour). On the phone she stated 700 pesos for 1 hour, 900 pesos for 90 minutes. I have read with interest reports regarding my home city. I have lived here for over six years now. It is only fair that I share some of the knowledge that I have accumulated. First of all, learn a little Spanish. A very few words will take you a long way. Second of all, if you know no Spanish (and even if you do) be respectful and polite. The Table Dance Clubs that advertise on billboards, etc. are to be avoided. They are overpriced rip off joints. Most of the girls there claim to be from other countries, they feel that this makes them more exotic and therefore they can charge outrageous prices. The truth is that 90% of them are Mexicanas, beautiful none the less.
Stay away from Juniors. He employs more guys than girls. Unless you are gay or enjoy being cheated, avoid this place and any others where they employ as many "suits" as girls. There are at LEAST 50 table dance bars in the area.
Only five or so have ever gotten any press here. Ask your cab driver to take you someplace where the Mexicans go. If you are driving, just keep your eyes open. This goes for esteticas masculino as well. There are probably even more of these. Quality is always a consideration, if you don't see one you like, walk away. Anything over 1000 pesos is a waste of money.
The area around the Plaza del Sol shopping mall is famous for transvestites. Late in the evening, that is. Stay away unless you are so inclined.
There are many medium sized bar/nightclubs where non-pro girls can be met.
Ask your cabbie and keep you eyes open. Also, don't bother going before 10PM, they stay open until 3-4AM. You will be suprised at how many speak English, even if only on a limited basis. Ask them to dance, then offer to buy them a drink. You will seldom be turned down.

there are several areas where there are some sws and many situated in the doors of shitty hotels waiting for customers. these are the lowest grade of girls, although the quality really varies. hotties are either really new, really druggged up, or too young to work anywhere else. the hotels are located in the area around the san juan de dios market, on the streets of hidalgo, gigantes, 5 de mayo and independencia to name a few. some hotels have more action during the day, others at night, some all the time. girls range from 3. 8, though most are below 6. the average going cost is about $200 pesos ($19 usd) for about 20 minutes hotel included. this should be fully nude, although a hottie may receive up to $300 pesos ($28 usd) for full service nude. don't expect anything over half an hour, unless you are a good negotiator. another area with higher quality chicas are a few houses on the streets 50, 52, 54, near where they intersect with gigantes or with obregon. there you will find better quality chicas for about $350 pesos for full service or $450 pesos for full service nude. careful there are a lot of tvs in this area, but one of the houses (on 52, between gigantes and 12 de octubre) have numerous chicks between 20 and 24 that look like they are 16. i would like to point out this area is kind of ghetto, and cops will try to bribe you out of money, or at least they do it to the mexicans.
2. esteticas/ casas de citas:

the escort business in guad is huge, but there is a lot of bullshit to be weeded through. most escort agencies will anounce themselves in the web (www.seductoras.com. mx, www.vivastreet.com. mx, www.divas.com. mx) among others, in newspapers (such as esto) or on cards that they pass out at traffic lights. the common rip off is that they will send you some chick that is totally different than what you expected, over priced, and that will give you a bad service. however, there are good agencies and also independents that i will post in the future. in general, escorts of decent appearance will charge between $700 pesos ($65 usd) and $1000 ($90 usd) per hour. some will come to your home and office, all will come to a hotel. the price may or may not include the taxi to get there. it is common they will ask you for up to $200 pesos extra for the taxi. never give them more than that. if the girl that shows up is not what you want, send her back, and don't give her anything more than the taxi, and that only if you are feeling generous. most of the agencies are bullshit, but there are some that send good material. futhermore, there are some people that act as agencies for independents that reliably send good material. those numbers coming soon.

Supposedly, there is no mongering around here. I have lived here for a year and even the locals tell me that. Well, it is not true... you just have to know the tricks. Apparently there are several cantinas (bars which have chicks that will fuck for $$$ on the weekends). At this point I have found the following:
Jocotepec - at least 1
Ajijic - at least 1
San Antonio - 0
Riberas del Pilar - 2
Chapala - 3

OK, here is what I know.
Starting from the east:
Jocotepec:
Apparently there are two spots for mongering. Probably a few more, but I don't know them yet.
1. Chivis Bar - This place is a typical mexican pueblo strip club. I have been there two times, and there is nothing worth speaking about. 4 - 8 girls, fat and ugly, that will fuck for between $20 and $40 USD. Supposedly there are hotter chicks on Saturday, but I have not been. I doubt that it is worth it.
2. Supposedly there is a second bar on the highway that goes from Jiquilpan to Guadalajara, right in Jocotepec. I have looked for it but I have not found it. Didn't look too hard. Supposedly there is at least one girl about 35 yo that is worth the trip. If you find it let me know.
San Juan Cosala:
This place used to have strip clubs, but apparently they were all closed down. One thing is for sure, it has nice girls, especially if you like indias. Still looking for some mongering around there.
Ajijic:
I know of one place, that definitely has hookers, but they are not too hot. I have seen a hot girl or two out front, but all the times I have gone in (a total of three) they have not been there. These girls will definitely fuck for money. However, I think you have to be lucky or horny to find something useful there. This place is about half way between Ajijic and San Juan Cosala, heading west. You will pass la Canacinta, La Cristina, and then it will be on the north side of the highway next to a big tree. It isn't always open, but when it is it's usually open between 6 PM - 1 AM mas o menos.
There are several "billardes" (pool halls) in the western part of Ajijic, the area know as Seis Izquinas, that may have working girls. Check it out... I have once, but didn't see much worth it.
San Antonio:
Nothing of interest except for some possible independents. I am working on getting in contact with those and will post if I do.
Riberas del Pilar:
There are two bars...
1. David's Sport's Bar, located halfway between Chapala and Ajijic, on the northern side. Normally 5 girls work there. 2 are fat and ugly. 1 is moderate and ugly. 1 is fat but with a cute face. The last 1 is cute and skinny, if you like indian girls. The price apparently is $20 USD to take them away from the bar, and the rest you negotiate with the girl. Shouldn't be more than $20 USD for FS. Haven't scored with the hot one yet (wouldn't with the rest) but I will let you know.
2. Bar Kru, located a bit closer to Ajijic on the southern side, apparently has working girls sometimes. That's all I know at this point, I have never gone in.
Chapala:
Chapala may have a few options, not sure how many. Here are a few to check.
1. Bar Lobos, located on the same street as the one you come in from from Ajijic, just past the traffic light. Supposedly there are girls that will "hook" if they like you on Saturdays and Fridays. I went today and didn't see shit. Not sure how good this is.
2. Bar Roy's, just across from Lobos, seemed to have two ugly light skinned hookers on a thursday some weeks ago. Haven't been since. Not sure if it is good or not.
3. Bar Checos, on the main strip in Chapala about halfway on the west side, definitely has some working girls some nights. Definitely not dependable, and only once did I see a girl I would actually do, even drunk.
4. Cañejos, or something like that. No idea where it is or what's up. Apparently it has girls sometimes. But I have neither seen it nor been able to verify.
5. There are two other Cantinas, Gato 13 and another one that I forget the name, which probably have some ugly girls working sometimes. However, I have not verified it.
In final, there are three bars where you will definitely find working girls in Lakeside. Those are Chivis in Jocotepec, the nameless ones west of Ajijic, and the David's Sports Bar (known to the locals as La Puerta Negra) in Riberas Del Pilar. I have only seen one girl in the three of them that I would fuck without them paying me.

there aren't any freelancer bars that i'm aware of. yeah, you might find a few hanging around in bars, but there's nothing that remotely compares to something like cm2, nana hotel disco or cafe la from your neck of the woods.

Here's a little tip from you that was passed on to me from my Mexican buddies that are into mongering. There is a little casa de citas on the street called Leñadores between Avenida Mexico and Avenida Vallarta. The street is tiny, only 1 block long, so you will either need a taxista that knows the are or a good map. It is within walking distance of Centro Magno.
This little Casa de Citas has older women (35 - 45) working in it, that supposedly give an exceptional service (some of them anyway). Cost should be between $300 and $600 pesos. Don't you dare pay more as you fuck it up for the rest of us gringos.
Once you are on the street, Leñadores, about halfway down you'll see an apartment on the lower story with a bunch of advertisements pasted to the door advertising lots and houses for sale. This is a cover up, knock and the door and a girl will open and let you in. Ask to see all the girls. Biggest selection should be Thurs - Sat between 2 PM and 5 PM. I haven't gone in, so I can't confirm quality or service, but I'm sure about the price and I can also confirm location as I have driven past it.

I just want to make sure you guys realize something. Calle 52 is in the Ghetto, and the installations in the places I mentioned are VERY GHETTO. Think the shitty hotels in the Zona Norte of Tijuana. The girls of high quality (why I don't know, maybe under 18?) but the place is ghetto and this is not where a gringo wants to be caught alone at night. Take a taxi and have him wait, or better yet, arrange to go with a Mexican in a NOT TOO FLASHY car if you can.

Coahuila, I haven't spent as much time in Guadalajara as you -- if you add it all up, maybe 9 months in the last 5 years. I've dated two women in Guadalajara that are as you described, though probably not as attractive -- really down to earth, good women that treated me well and weren't materialistic or superficial. Unfortunately, I guess I want the flashy hottie and am willing to put up with the B.S. sometimes to get her.
Anyway, as far as the average goes for very attractive women in Guadalajara, Strike is right, especially for those of us in our late 30's on up. I can go to Juarez or Panama City or just about any city in Colombia and get a ton more attention without having to come off like a rich playboy. I think the reason is because Guadalajara is more prosperous than most of the rest of Latin America, and it's reasonably safe -- if somebody has some money they can show it off without having to be shadowed by security, unlike, say, Mexico City or Bogota. Also, I agree with Strike about PFP. Only Mexico City, Cancun and Los Cabos are more expensive, in my experience. Everyplace else I've been in Latin America was cheaper, except I guess Buenos Aires before the devaluation.

this week i travelled down from lake chapala to spend a few days in gdl (mid-week).
i stayed at the mission carlton, which is just on the edge of the central core. its a pretty standard 2-3 star, but its getting quite well worn. it was good being on the 12th floor, as it blocked much of the traffic noise, otherwise its an unremarkable hotel. there always seemed to be a few porters or front desk staff doing double duty as security. i didn't intend to invite anyone up to my room, so it wasn't an issue.
my first stop was across the street to med esteticas. 500 pesos for 1/2 hr, and i picked out a smiling, energetic girl who was a 6 (in my books). there were 5 girls to choose from (mostly 5's), and i was happy with the service for the price.

i parked a block away, and went in on foot. as i passed 5 different doorways with 'girls', it became clear that they were all tv's. i walked around the block and wandered into one of the table dance bars. there were a couple low grade women (although one girl had a huuuuge rack), and i polished off a beer before moving on. back on the street, there were a few druggies stumbling around, and a few groups gathered out front of bars, but i didn't feel unsafe. like everywhere in gdl, the cops were doing loops ever so often with their lights flashing. so, disappointed, i headed back up towards central to check out the street action and a bar. neither was very interesting (more tv's on the street), and titanic had a high sausage factor, so bailed back to the hotel.
the next day day i wandered back over to med, and picked out a different girl. very happy with the quality for the price.
i'll likely head back down to gdl next week for another overnighter (maybe this time i'll find hc), but i don't think i'll bother with the strip clubs or the street scene next time, and stick with the massage parlors / esteticas.
i also wanted to clear up any confusion i may have caused regarding an earlier post, in which i mentioned a trip to juniors. it appears that there are 2 clubs called jrs. The rest of the doors offer 1s. 6s at best, although one of the doors on 12 de Octubre supposedly has some good quality girls that never bother to stand in the door due to the amount of regular clients they have.

Mr. North, when looking for High Class, look for a horseshoe of green and yellow balloons around the entranceway, right on the sidewalk. That is my landmark. The sign is low key, but I can spot the balloons from the other side of the street, and then just turn around at the traffic circle, and park on a side street.
The first time finding it is always the most difficult. But IMHO it is worth the effort.

The only low end strip clubs I've actually visited are the three between the airport and Hotel Tapatio, which were a lot of fun, although the quality of the women left something to be desired. Even though if there are now more than 10 strip clubs for what is worth? The best quality girls are found in the high end clubs such as the Mens Club and the Golden club, some time if you run with luck can found some in the Candys (not a high end one) and usually the rest (and many others low end clubs) have girls going to avarage to bad quality in both beauty and service offered (not all offer full service by the way) so for what is worth to have more than a dozen of clubs if they are full of bad or avarage quality girls who don't offer full service or offer bad service.

In fact, Candy's (upper middle end) hires about 50% or more extranjeras. For pure Mexicanas go even lower than that.

Two new strip clubs have opened within the last six months between the airport and the Hotel Tapatio. Bucanero is the first right that you can make when exiting the airport going toward Guad. It is only about 50 meters after you leave the exit ramp, so be careful not to miss it. Cadillac is on the same side of the Caratera as the Boom Boom, just a little farther south. Neither gets going until after 10, so go to the Boom Boom first. They have a shift change at 9, so get there about 8-8:30. The early girls are borocha by then and good times can be had. If they are all fat and ugly, go back the next night. Things do change. After 9, 98% of them are fat and ugly and not worth your time.
After thinking about it for a few days, I have upped my estimate on the number of strip clubs in the area. It is over 100. Don't depend on a guy that uses the yellow pages to get his information. And don't be afraid to leave and go on to the next joint if you don't like what you see. Like I said, things change from night to night.

I spent 4 hours in this area yesterday. I wanted to see IF what was being published here had any validity. First of all, Calle 52 is not named "Calle 52" it has another name and that makes it difficult to find. Secondly, it is 3 blocks between Obragon and 12 de Octubre, so when it is stated that there is a "place in the middle of the block" it makes it hard to find at the very least. Anyways, I was there between 4 and 8. There were about 4 DOGS working and 1 pup. Most all wanted 150pesos. They were just too ugly to even waste my time! Although the pup was interesting. I only saw one TV who wanted 200pesos. Hmmm. There were about 4 clubs in the area. Most did not open until 9.
I have mongered in Monterrey. There may be "Monterrey Style" clubs in GDL but I have YET to find them. And IF you did find them, they would be few and FAR between. Not like in MTY where they are literally door to door in a ten block area. I'll keep exploring. Thanks for the info Coahuilla. I had a good time exploring yesterday. The easiest way to get to Calle 52 area is to take the east/west metro/train/subway. Just ask someone where to get off for "Calle 52. " It's only about 2 blocks from the station.

I checked out the "best kept secret" location yesterday on "Lenadores" which is actually pretty close to my house. First of all, it is LEONIDAS, not Lenadores. IF it is located between Vallarta and Ave. De Mexico. The street was about 4 blocks long. It was very residential. It was near Plaza de Mexico. Finding a house with advertisements, etc. Posted on it was next to impossible. Why don't you register with ISG so we can communicate?

The street is called Leñadores (Lumber Jacks if you will) it is between Vallarta and Lazaro Cardenas I believe. It IS one block long and I have seen it. Not sure of the street names there, but look up Leñadores and you will find it.
As for the 52, let me get this straight, go Gigantes until Calle 52 (you will have to ask people, as the streets are labeled by names, but everyone knows them by numbers) when you get to 52, take a right. The next street is 12 de Octubre. The girls are between Gigantes and 12 de Octubre ON 52, about at the halfway point of the block. The last 3 weeks there have been uglier girls (not TVs, but not the same girls from before). Not sure what has changed, but I will investigate. When you hit 12 de Octubre you can take a right and 3 houses down there are more girls. Normally not my type, but last time there were two hotties. I couldn't investigate but will this week. That was tongue in cheek man, I am German, so you have to put up with some sarcasm. Check out the areas, they are fun. Although, the house on 52 has not had the quality the last two times I drove past it as it did over the last 6 months. Well. I just got back from Lenadores. One side of the street is some kind of a "compound" with a 15ft wall surrounding it and the other side is apartments. Now, I walked the area 4 times over a 2 hour period and I saw NOTHING that looked like it had ANY women. It looked very residential and family.

I went downtown last night just to check out what was happening on a Tuesday night in January. The last time I was downtown "exploring" was back in August. ken tucky, that's 400 pesos for 30 minutes, right? when you pay 1000 to 1200 pesos at the higher-priced esteticas you're getting an hour, so i don't think that's directly comparable. also, i can walk into, say, [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123), pay 1200, and be assured i'm at least going to a place with nice facilities and some good looking women. that's not always true of the lower priced places (and admittedly not true of some of the higher priced establishments either).

i was in town visiting with the family and had a moment of escape to visit both of these places.

Thanks in advance.The Hilton is on Avenida Rosas and Mariano Otero-- it is a walk, but not too bad. Also, Mariano Otero has some less expensive hotels. Lopez Mateos also has high end, like the Intercontinental as well as slightly less expensive places. Again, it is a bit of a walk, but not bad.
Yesterday I was passing through the city and I thought I'd drop in to High Class for a 1/2 hour session. Last time I was there I saw Vanessa who, as Dollar Bill reported recently, gave a quite good performance.

GDL is a different scene than other places I've been in Mexico. The religion and politics of GDL determine of lot of it's protocal. I've only lived here for 6 months and have learned a lot. Who knows what I will learn in the future? Just the 'usual' haunts that are posted and reported here are NOT anywhere near what GDL offers. The area around Centro Magna is rich with 'opportunities.' Dudes! Where have you been? I have been to Guadalajara twice in the past 4 months and have left feeling pissed off. First let me set the stage. I am from Detroit (a white guy) but speak ZERO spanish and had never been to Mexico before. Each time I went I was there for 1 night only.
First time I stayed at Holiday Inn in downtown. By the time my meetings got finished and I got checked into the hotel room it was 8PM. Was hoping that my locals would leave me alone and let me find some good spots but they stayed to have dinner with me. Which did absolutely nothing for me. As soon as they left I was out the door looking for trouble. After walking around downtown for several hours and not finding one damn place I resorted to the yellow pages back at the hotel room. I had to use the shotgun approach until I found someone who spoke a little English. I told them I wanted small and petite. 45 minutes later a guy and a woman appear at the door. I had to pay the bastard to leave so I could be alone with the sub-par lady. It was late and I was horney so I nailed her and sent her on her way. Total cost $1750 MXP. I know I got ripped off but hey where the hell were guys when I was looking for a piece?
Next trip was last week and I decided to try a different place. This time it was the Holiday Inn Select. Again it was 1 nighter and I did not get to the hotel until 7PM. I asked the taxi driver for Chicas but he did not have a clue what I was saying, or maybe I did not have clue what he was saying but either way I was not led to a piece of ass. I walked around the block or two looking for some action but did not find any. After the last experience I just went back to the room and crashed by 9PM. I am now going back next week for 2 nights. two things that i can suggest right away:
one, the first hi you stayed at was a good choice. what you may not have tried was discreetly asking one of the evening bellmen about some chicas. i had a couple offers last time i stayed there; they quoted 2000 pesos for the hour. while i think thats a bit high it does include "insurance" that you won't be hassled. it also helps if you tell them they'll get a nice tip. i usually give em 100 pesos depending on who they find. alternately, if you exit the hotel and go to the right, you end up on independencia where there are usually sg's to be found late afternoons and into the night. depending on your spanish and comfort level you might be able to negotiate bringing one back with you. naturally you would be targeting the better looking ones (less than 10% of whats out there) that are dressed neatly and doesnt look strung out.
if you go the escort route, they can always meet you in the bar on the second floor or, if it's early enough, at the coffee shop off the main lobby.
second: the hi select is a nice place but from what i have observed on numerous stays, a little more rigid with their rules on getting someone upstairs during late evening hours (other members please feel free to correct this if i am wrong). but don't despair!! it also happens to be in close walking distance (approx 1 km) to [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) and high class esteticas. if you have good rapport with your chosen chica you can ask for her number and arrange to have her meet you after work for a visit. theres also a good steakhouse restaurant next to [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) if your workout works up an appetite!

Speaking ZERO and I mean ZERO spanish puts me at a huge disadvantage. While at the HI I must have walked 10km looking for a piece of ass. Don't feel bad. My first trip to GDL I read the forum and thought I had it all figured out as well. *I* had no idea three esteticas (Jovi was open then too) were so close until I was headed back to the airport and the cab drove right past them. I also spent a lot of time exploring all the way to Minerva Circle and eventually down to centro- the opposite way from where I wanted to go. What helped me tremendously was the posts made here along with the Guia-Roji street map of GDL.

Certainly you can go to one of the best well SC in town, they are not cheap but you can find high end stuff and it's a very good training, the price is given back in security and comfortable facilities, take a cab to Candy's Club, the one near Galerias Mall (on Vallarta Ave) and a mile ahead you'll find DKlub those are good if you are going solo or without guidance.

Since most of you are using taxis while in Guadalajara, here are some important notes about the prices. This is copied from Wikitravel, where I just edited the Gdl taxi information. Remember not to pay the ridiculous prices the drivers ask for at first!
Taxis are another option if you don't want to try to figure out the buses. You can either agree to a price with the cab driver or ask him to turn the meter on. Using the latter option, there is a risk that driver doesn't the take the shortest possible route if he thinks you don't know it yourself. As always, be sure to ask the fare before you get in. Cabs cost more at night or when they have to cross the outer ring of the city. Day-time fares should never exceed 100 pesos within the city and almost always the price should be even under 50 pesos. The drivers almost always quote a ridiculously high price for foreigners but you just have to be persistent. At night-time, the prices are doubled. As a rule of thumb, at day-time the fare is about 3-4 pesos per kilometer and at night about 8-9 pesos but if the driver is using a meter, there's also a starting price of around 5-10 pesos.
Fares for the airport are set. If arriving at the Guadalajara airport, a taxi monopoly provides the service (about 200 pesos for service to the Centro Historico) from the airport. Pre-purchase your taxi ride at the booths outside of the arrival halls. You can take a normal taxi to the airport, though. The price is around 150-200 pesos depending on where you are coming from.

Thanks to those who took the time to pm me. Trip went down w/@ 12 hrs notice so little time to research. Last minute change of plans on arrival in that we went to the Holiday Inn El Centro instead of the Hilton a change I didn't want but was arranged for me so whatever. Hotel is in an older part of town numerous shops around. En route from the airport our driver pointed out & somewhat recommended Krystal Mens Club which was @ a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Get to the hotel a little before 8pm, called Alondra & set her up for 9. Walked to a nearby square for a disappointing but quick taco & margarita. Back to the room Alondra arrived right on time. Just after she called I get a call from the front desk & he says visitor hrs are over & there is a fee for gusts after 8pm, now shes knocking & I say I gotta go. There she is not unlike her web description altho I'd guess mid 20's & 60 kg, as opposed to her stats listed @23 & 50 kg not an improvement given my preferences but cute & friendly so no thought of sending her away. Thought I'd try the $100/hr option & see how we hit it off. She has a very nice smile, great teeth, reasonable english, snuggly, round in a lot of places, open to much, gung ho kisser which is not usually my thing but I didn't protest much. This post as well as others have been quiet for a bit. I am heading back to Guadalajara next week (been a few months since I have been there). I usually stay at the Holiday Inn El Centro. I know some don't like it but this was the first hotel that I stayed at while there and I really don't like changes, unless it involves sex and women.

I usually go to the Motel Lomalinda on Av Colon #4292. It is located in El Sauz, Tlaquepaque in the southern end of Guadalajara close to the Espana tren lijero stop. (I saved my last "nota de consumo" from when I was there late last year. It was only 245 pesos for 8 hours as it is a motel and not a hotel. It's very close to the tren lijero "Espana" stop if I remember correctly, and a nice OXXO nearby. Don't buy the food they sell at the motel, get snacks at the OXXO -- they will let you leave for a max of 1 hour but if you don't come back in that time you lose your room (the OXXO is a 10 minute walk there and back)
The rooms are clean, everything valuable is BOLTED to the floor (Pues estamos en Mexico jeje!), the TV is small but gets a fair amount of channels. They have plenty of hot water and even some "sitting room" style furniture -- only you cannot move it around (bolted down). There are even plants growing at the bottom of the stairs... nice touch for a Sex Motel! Be careful when going down the stairs if the light is off... it would be easy to slip if the stairs are wet at all, and the handrail is bolted to the building, there's not one on the other side of the stairs as I remember... You want to remember the motel for the fun times and sore muscles from going at it hard, not from falling off the stairs WHILE hard...
The reception will be more than happy to call a chica in for you... well, they dial an agency they're "affiliated" with and you speak to the agency phone operator and they can send you a chica or two or three or more if you like. I think it was $800 for an hour. $800 for an hour from the agencies seems to be the norm. I think you can find $600 pesos an hour or "45 minute hour", but the only place I know of where you can call in a chica for as low as $300 pesos (plus taxi of $100) is Mexico City... but there you really are rolling the dice. I've done it and though they were not more than 6's in looks, they came through with 8's and 9's in attitude! Runner Up, responding to your questions and comments,
1. GDL is one of the last places I'd go for nonpros. Colombia and Cuba are much better. There are many Mexican males who go to Cuba, for the same purpose that you're going to Mexico -- because the women are easier there.
2. Non pro bars aren't a good bet. Personal introductions from friends and dating process is the best way to get to know women, but you don't have time for that.
3. Day activities and tours -- other than El Centro, there's not a lot to see. Maybe a day trip to Tequila or to Lake Chapala might be worthwhile. You're much better off in, say, Oaxaca or Guanajuato, for that sort of thing. You mention you're into shopping. I'd recommend a daytime trip to Tlaquepaque. There are a lot of craft type shops and also some very good restaurants.
4. You can't stay anywhere close to all the action, because the action is dispersed throughout the city. I would rent a car or be prepared to take taxis. In the mid-price range, I like Hotel Tapatio a lot. It's like a reasonably-priced country resort in the middle of a large city, but not located well with respect to any of the sites except the strip clubs close to the airport. Recommended if you have a car. Howard Johnson's is reasonably priced, clean, and next door to Golden strip bar, which is an expensive strip club. Crowne Plaza and Presidente (at one time affiliated with Intercontinental, maybe it still is) cost more, but are nicer and reasonably well located with respect to esteticas. Hilton is best value for the money at the upper end IMHO. There are decent hotels close to downtown, that I've never stayed in. Expect to spend a little more than you would in the U.S., unless you're from California or East Coast.
5. This is the internationalsexguide. It is a site to find sex, not girlfriends. It is not a matrimonial site. However, there have been some posts on nonpros. I've done you the favor of ferretting some out. The argument between Coahuila and Strike may be enlightening. I tend to agree with Strike, but if you're 25 years old and since you speak fluent Spanish, your experiences could be closer to Coahuila's, if you decided to move to and live in GDL:

IMHO and as a tapatio I can tell you, GDL its one of the best places in the world to get non pros and I've lived in 3 countries before.
Actions here is amazing at least for me and with girls on her late 20's maybe beacause I'm young too.
You have to be able to recognize between several types of girls and you'll be able to score, theres uptight tapatias fresas, party type tapatias fresas, beautifull middle class tapatias, sluty tapatias, and maybe more types depending on whom you ask, you have apply a different approach for each one, but all of them have pussy so theres always a chance.

Also its easier to get a girl at a "antro" or dancing club than in a Bar or restaurant, forget about going to Vango or Bosse, because those are where the créme de la créme goes and its like going back to highschool or college with all of my friends there, sure you can see the most good looking girls in the planet there but they "behave" in there because everybody is watching so its really hard to get something there. But there is good news, the same girls that go there, when they feel like going wild go to other clubs and mix with the other "type" of tapatias and go nuts, usually when I feel like "hunting" I go there too, Chess on Av. Lopez Mateos, Mood a Av Patria and Guadalupe, Dubai at Avenida Patria 3 blocks from Mariano Otero, La Follie I forgot the name of th street but is one block parallel from Lopez mateos and one block from Avenida de las rosas, you will have tons of fun there and lots and lots girls to choose from!

I don't have nearly the experience that Coahuila and Anonimo do in bedding nonpros, other than women I've dated for a while. I'd rather pay for it. If I were in my 20's like them it might be different. They also seem to have identified some target rich environments for finding slutty women. Anyway, available women I've met seem to fall into three categories,
1. Ugly women. Her economic status doesn't make much difference. I can pull an ugly woman from, say, U-fit in Puerta de Hierro (health club with California-like member fees), no problem.
2. Reasonably attractive, traditional women. There are a lot of these out there that would be interested in dating a gringo. But they typically don't fuck on the first date. Or the second or the third.
3. Attractive non-traditional women. This is the target we're all interested in. If your typical ISG gringo and his buddy walk into an upscale bar and start hitting on women like these, they'll strike out. If you're dressed well, good haircut, clean finger nails, expensive watch -- all those superficial things --you're likely to do a little better. These women are interested in money, more so on average than U.S. women. Now, if you start dating one of these women, and she figures out you've got money, all her friends are going to want you to fix them up with your rich gringo friends. It doesn't really matter if your buddies are 20 years older or if they don't speak Spanish, as long as they've got money. In fact, some of her friends are probably going to want to date you. This is why you see Strike and Anonimo and some others pointing out the importance of cliques in Guadalajara.
If you're traveling through town and looking for a piece of ass, I think you're better off going to the esteticas instead of trying to pick up a nonpro.

No offense here, but Guadalajara is not what you portray it to be. I admit, that in Guad girls are more interested in money than in other Mexican cities, but that comes with the Jalisco standard of living (not to mention their looks). In the USA, girls from San Diego are much better looking and much more interested in $$$ than say girls from Lawrence, Kansas or whatever other middle town you can think of.
That being said, I am young, good looking, but relatively bad off financially and I have a serious limp from a car accident. Never the less, in the past week I have played with 5 non-pros and fucked 2. The other 3 are for this week You have to play by the rules. These girls have parents you know. If I were interested in girls above 25, that wouldn't be a problem and I could easily pull more. Money is not an object, if I spend more than $30 US on a date she better be doing anal. Great Idea and was not not only thought of by me, but everyone else flying into Mexico as well. You could not get on the flights to Guadalajara, Leon, Mexico City, or anyone else as they were booked.

Hey just wanted to chime in on this part of the thread. Certainly seems like the finances are getting strained all over the place these days. But just to let you know, the women only get to keep 1/2 of what they take in (on average). The other half goes to the agency that they work with / for.
I know this is true for High Class and a number of the agencies listed in the newspapers that you can contact by phone. Same with the agencies that the Motels de Paso use (those really nice looking, condominium style hotels that charge roughly $250 pesos for 8 hours on weekends, 12 hours during the week). I have made very good use of those hotels for pre-flight Mongering sessions as they are clean, bright, and have excellent showers overall (at least the ones on Avenida Colon do, near Periferico Sur along the tren ligero line).
So... The chica at High Class who gets a 1/2 hour service gets paid about $225 to $250 pesos. If she gets the hour service, she gets $450 pesos. I would assume the same with Modelos Galilea, though they have quite the website set up. I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the website and very proud that Mexicanos have been behind designing such sites. But the whole discussion on price and such here... I mean who on earth would pay a chica $500,000 pesos for 4 days? A NARCO!!! (Or a member of the Mexican Government, Military or Police... que es lo mismo! ja!) Turbulence over Mexico City my A...
But drug cartel politics aside, any lady working for an agency only gets to keep about half of what is paid. Independents are hard to find.
What I find particularly interesting about Modelos Galilea is that they are running on 1 cell phone number. The more successful agencies in Mexico City have a variety of phone lines, landlines, not cell phones. The sheer number of independents and agencies in Mexico City makes it difficult to make it if you only have 1 line. If someone calls and the line is busy, they will dial another agency. If you have several lines available and even with just one line operator you can still have a live voice at the other end to deal with. Out of curiosity I will contact Modelos Galilea very soon and report back with what I hear.
I am planning a trip to GDL very soon... hopefully around the beginning of December. I want to go see if the Geisha massage parlor is still in operation out back behind Sears. They are not far from Mediterraneo (in front of Howard Johnson hotel). I ALMOST went there once but the woman left in charge screwed up on the cost for an hour of service, so I went to Geisha. At that time I had a chica in Geisha named Susana, very nice, big rack, but a short girl. She was there a year leater and didn't recognize me. That time I went with a VERY busty gal named Sonia. She was freaked out a bit when I caressed her nipples with my tongue -- she liked it, but had had a very bad experience with a drunk Mexican man who bit her hard a few months back. I wish that mongering was legal in the U.S. But at least it is legal in Mexico! Que Viva Mexico!!! I guess those with enough cash can go to Nevada and pay through the nose for bad treatment at one of the "Ranches" - gotta have that Gringa woman "Wife Experience", right? Some of the best experiences and best treatment I have received from women have been from las bellas putas de Mexico... Bellas, beautiful, not always because they are physically appealing but because they tend to reciprocate based on how you treat them. They are doing this to support their families. If you happen to find one that is doing this to support a drug habit then you are better off selecting one that is using the money for her kids. This is not a judgement call, but safety-wise and GFE-wise you will fare much better with someone who is doing this for a nobler cause than getting her next fix of Perico up her nostrils.

o.k. as promised, i am reporting back on the escort service "modelos galilea". they have a snazzy website and use a cell phone to deal with incoming calls. i only called and asked about services, i did not use their services as, unfortunately, i am still in the u.s. for a while...
apparently, they are strict to the rule of their specials on the web. that means that at 10pm the $1,700 peso special for 1 hour is over and you have to book 2 hours at $2,500 pesos. either way i happen to agree with mou. getting your action while paying the least for it is better. i think most of us who are in this "hobby" know that paying more does not necessarily guarantee getting better treatment. in fact, there are situations where the more you pay the less you get for your peso / dollar.
also, not being able to see the chica beforehand really makes it tougher. at places like [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123), high class, mediterraneo, geisha and other massage parlors you get to see them first right in front of you, though you don't really have a chance to talk. plus, the prices are really good at many of these places with [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123) at the high end of the spectrum.
but when you are in town and at your hotel room and have no time or interest to trot down to a local massage parlor the other option is to call a service like the "modelos". if you are at a motel (motel de paso as the mexicanos lovingly refer to them) you just dial "0" and ask the friendly gal at the front desk that you want a "chica" and they will dial up their service of choice and patch you through on the phone and you set up the "date". or you can dial one of many services that you can get from some newspapers. personally i like these motels because they are very modern (some built just a year or two ago), have plenty of hot water and tend to have huge beds - plus they are cheap, roughly between $250 to $350 pesos for 8 hours. the beds are not meant to sleep in (the mattresses are a bit stiff... the sheets, hopefully not too stiff ;) hehe! but you can if you want, just don't overstay or they will hit you for another $250-$350 peso charge.
but going back to my phone call to "modelos galilea". a man answered the phone and spoke to me in spanish. i didn't try to speak in english but went ahead with my spanish which is pretty good, but anyone from mexico can tell it has an american accent. i was quoted the price on the website ($1,700) and told that the promotion time was ending and after 10pm it would be the standard $2,500 for 2 hours. i asked about the ladies available and he said the promotion was only good for the ones listed online for the promotion but that after 10pm all the others were available except for three that were out of the city.
so, it does seem to me that he is only running on one cell phone. my guess is that he calls the ladies afterwards on their cell phones and directs them to go to the site of the "job" (hotel, house, etc.). he may have his own driver(s) to pickup and deliver and pickup the ladies (and thus guarantee that he gets paid) or the ladies may be responsible for their own transport.
so, someone out there who has used their services will have to post more about the actual "delivery" if these ladies are true to the pic on the website. if i make it down there this year i will try to use their service though the cost is rather high. for $1,700 i could go to high class three times for three 1/2 hour to 45 minute services and there is no hotel cost, plus high class gives you a free soda or bottled water =)
so, we'll see. at least i can say that the guy was courteous on the phone and though cell phone calls are not as good as land-line calls, i could understand what he said ok. he mentioned that the girl would generally arrive to the hotel room in roughly 30 minutes as long as it was within the city boundaries. 30 to 45 minutes is generally what i have experienced when i have used call services in the past (in gdl i've just used the services provided by the hotel - they call the escort service and patch me through on the phone and i handle the negotiation and choose what they have to offer "sight unseen".)

Dude, you are totally buying the product of Galileas, of course he works on a cell phone and do you really think he has 100's of girls and needs several land lines? His website is really crappy and has really really old pictures, since it was petochas agency.

You might be better calling one of the divas in town for 2000-2500 pesos, whom actually are the girls in the photos but way too photoshoped almost all the time, but I have gotten better odds with the Divas 1 out of 5 maybe are true sculptures (I'm way too picky) maybe for some always are true sculptures.

You are right about the high price not meaning better service or a better looking girl. I have overpaid for services far far too many times, and more times than not it was through an agency.
Usually when I am in Mexico, I am not there for long periods of time. Two days and two nights is the max and it usually is 1 day and 1 night. So basically, I don't have time to waiste just want to get right into the action.
I have had one agency experience in GDL and it was just so so. Speaking no spanish I am at a huge disadvantage but I asked for help here and I eventually got it. I wrote notes down, I printed pages, printed street mapes, and arrived in GDL a bit earlier in the day. For some reason, I like staying in the downtown area and just walking around. I have always felt safe in GDL. I had mapped out a stragety but on the way to the hotel I spotted the Wal Mart and the Mission Carelton Hotel. I remebered a place that was close by so even though it was 20 minute walk back to that area from my hotel, I made the walk anyway. I spotted Mediterreneo walked right past it not realizing what it was. I actually though it was a bueaty parlor where girls went to get there hair and nails down. I turned around and went back. For me, I liked the fact that the girls were paraded in front of me one by one and I got to choose which one I wanted. It was a great experience and for me, not speaking any spanish, I could care less what the conversation was.
Keep up the good reporting and perhaps our paths will cross one day in GDL. If you ever make it to Detroit, let me know and I will steer you in the right direction.

Thanks AnonimoGDL for the report on "Ramon el Mamon" of Galileas. He sounds like the kind of guy I would probably want to beat with an iron pipe after talking to him for a few minutes. I may or may not try Galileas now. I guess he has paid some company to run his website as I remember it has some origins outside of Mexico (the web engine behind his site). Anyway... if he has any Xmas specials going I might call him up but I will take your advice. If the girl isn't the one from the pic I will bargain the price down or tell him to get out of the room with his chica and I'll go for the $800 peso per hour competition (that is the price I have paid in the past for "room service, sight unseen" and have had decent results with - just whatever agency the hotel called up).
I am definitely going to go by Geisha to see if Sonia and Susana are still working there and I will try out Mediterraneo as well. As reported by someone else (whom I am grateful too. But I forget his name).
I can offer no new information but validate what he has already posted.
I was driving from Chapala to Ajijic along the main carretera and saw David's Bar and remembered it from the other post.
As I was about to park and enter a Mexican walking by basically hollered at me and waved his fingers telling me in Spanish something that roughly translated to. Your loco man the "puerto negro" is way too expensive.
He continued to walk away but I waved him over. I ask some questions and he recommended a bar down the road. His english was ok and I instinctively recognized a fellow mongerer and I got him to jump in the car and show me exactly where the other place was. Turns out the other place is on the lake side of the road and is called CRU II, it is about 1/2 KM from David's going towards Ajijic. Since this was the late afternoon neither David's or Cru II had any chicas. But both places definitely occassionally have them. I think Davids has them on a more regular basis. [Inviting a stranger into your car in any country is probably not a good idea, so don't imitate me]
On a return visit to David's I saw 3 chica's none of them I would spend money on. The best of the lot was a medium gordita named Erica. I bought her a drink (drinks for ladies cost more. For me it was 40 pesos and the barman gave her a mini Coronorita. For that.) The girl will hang witch you as long as she has the drink. Given it was a Coronarita it wasnt going to be that much time I specifically wanted information to post here.
Her starting rate was 1000 pesos. Dream on. I asked her how much for a simple hand job and she said 500 pesos and I looked at her like she was loco. A brief negotiation got her down to 300 but maybe her bottom price would have been a little lower.
All in all there is probably mongering or hobbying to be had lakeside but anything worthwhile is few and far between.
Save your peso's and get into Guadalajara.

Please share any Lakeside info you may have. I did the Billiards place in Jocotopec a few years ago and it gets some lookers late at night but it is not really my scene. High Class has been reviewed here several times before. But a dated review is always worthwhile in my opinion.
Here are the details bullet style for your reading pleasure.
1) How to get there.
From Chapala getting there took me forever. I got SO LOST its not even funny. Get on to the Avenue Lazarro Cardenas. Its a main thoroughfare you need a map or mapquest or whatever.
Here is the key. Keep heading WEST on Lazarro Cardenas and pass the huge yellow arches. RIGHT at this Yellow Arch. "Art Piece" is one of Guad's multiple Roundabouts and its a *****. Trying to navigate back on to Avenue Lazarro Cardenas is the challenge. You will head right and if memory serves me right its the Second right on the roundabout. A Tapatio should help me here.
Lazarro Cardenas is a main highway but all the addresses ARE on the Laterals that run on either side. If you heading West on Ave Laz. Cardenas you actually have to PASS High Class and double back on the Lateral that heads EASTBOUND. Sounds complex but once you get passed the Arch its rather easy and WORTH THE TRIP. Stick with it.

3) The routine. The girl whose turn it is will lead you into a room and try to make you her client. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. Ask to see all the girls.

I did walk by another place on Lopez Mateos heading South from Lazaro Cardenas that charged $500 pesos for 45 minutes. I had already enjoyed my time with Nancy at HC but I couldn't pass up going into another massage parlor for a look at the ladies. Unfortunately, the ladies in there at that hour were quiet nasty looking... 4's at best... although their attitudes were 8's. I think when you compare almost any Mexican woman to American women their attitudes are 8's 9's and 10's! jejejeje!!!
Anyway, I got their card but left it in Mexico :( but they are less than 1 full block up Lopez Mateos Sur on the right hand side of Lopez Mateos sur if you are heading towards Lazaro Cardenas. They are very close to some restaurant and regular businesses. It was just 1 hour before closing on a Saturday so very few women were there. One looked like she should have been a member of the ELZN, very militant looking and muscular, but a bit on the heavy side. She would have been interesting indeed! (great muscle tone)
I am probably going back to Mexico in March or April... Anyone else going there around that time? The businesses are going to be hurting for action because Cuaresma (Lent) kicks in and some Mexicanos abstain from going out for sex. It is really bad around Easter, though...
I also walked by Mediterraneo and Geisha. They are still in operation, but they were closed (Sunday around Xmas time) and so I wasn't able to get current price information. Next trip, though, I sure will!

I did visit High Class during the day, which was nice and clean. However, I did find a diamond in the rough near the Mercado around 10:30 P.M. one night, after putting some distance between a trannie and myself. Let us just say that my Spanish came in handy. Fortunately, someone distracted and retained the trannie for me. Got a motel room, and stayed most of the night with the girl that I found. Since I already paid for the room, I left and caught a cab around 3:00 P.M. back to my residence. I let the girl keep the room. It actually was a pleasant GFE. She kept asking why I was leaving. I said that I simply had an interview in the morning, and had to go. I do not suggest the Mercado area to anyone, or even most people. However, there is company to be had if you are a street-smart person.

hey i am heading out to gdl around the 15th, but only for about two or three weeks tops. there is a place i saw on lopez mateos right close to the intersection with lazaro cardenas that charges $500 pesos for roughly 45 minutes but i got there very late and had already been to high class where it is $550 pesos for 30 minutes. with the exchange rate as it is, high class is about $37 usd for the half hour and the other place is a better deal as far as time goes, but i don't have a clue what the facilities look like inside other than the greeting area. hc has clean facilities and i love that they have lots of hot water for the showers.

I was going to Guadalajara next week but am canceling. I heard one report that came from someone who owns ambulances that he's transported several people in GDL that had the flu, and a second report, filtered through two people, that 100 people, patients and doctors, have died in GDL from the flu in a single large hospital. I believe the first report, but not the second. I understand some schools and businesses will close next week and traffic in the malls is way down.
I may be paranoid, but wonder if there are a couple of considerations for people like us -- could you travel to Mexico and then get stuck there because some kind of a quarantine on flights between there and the extranjero? Finally I am planning a trip to Guadalajara, planning eating some good food, smoking some good cigars, and drinking some good tequila, and last but not least nailng some hot Mexicanas. Question fellas, I plan on checking out all the spots Eteticas etc. But I need some input what hotels are Okay with you taking a lady friend upstairs to your room? I was planning on staying at one of these, Quinta Real, Hillton, camino Real? Hotel Morelos Historic District, or any of the Holiyday Inns? Fiesta Americana? (whichever gives me more room and luxury for my money). I want to stay some where nice (or decent) as I don't travel often, and the times I do want to enjoy it. Which nice hotels are lady-friendly? I haven't stayed at any of them before and past trips I was staying at a relatives. Any input would greatly be appreciated. I have heard stories of guys having to make a "walk of shame" or even get paged in the room demanding the lady leave. I don't want that to happen. Help.
