Not sure if common knowledge and I'm wasting everyone's time.
Visa requirement was repealed in 2019 to stimulate and encourage travelers to travel to Brazil visa-free.
After 3 miserable years tourist head count DROPPED despite visa-free promotion, the BR govt is restoring the visa requirement.
Citizens of USA, Canada, and Australia will have to shell out $160 USD to enter Brazil.
Was supposed to initially go into effect October 2023 but after consideration the new start date has been delayed to January 2024.
$160 can get a lot of boates damn it.

As this is the format used in the forums, if I can't find anything then remove the quotes.
