That location, if you come across bridge 1, turn right, go two short blocks to Benito Juarez, go left on Juarez as it is one way southbound, go around the block come back on Matamoros, one way northbound, should not be a problem, just be careful and you will be fine.

I read on another site that the car bombing at Danash took place late Friday night / early Saturday morning. That a portion of Danash had caught on fire & burned.

I was in Nuevo Laredo Saturday night. Started looking for Bbond at 9:00 PM. Went to Intimo, Herradura, Montera & back to Intimo. Drank an Indio cerveza in Intimo. I caught a taxi to NLBT at 9:45 PM. The Mexican Military was out in force at the entrance to NLBT. They were stopping all vehicles going into NLBT. The Mexican Military had both the Taxi driver & myself get out of the Taxi. I was patted down spread eagle against the Taxi's trunk & let go. There was a second group of Mexican Military out in force around Marta's, they had us stop & asked the Taxi diver in spanish where we were going. He told the Soldier Danash. The Soldier told the Taxi driver in spanish that Danash was closed due to damage from a car bomb. I told the Taxi diver to take me back to El Centro. The Soldier wanted to know where I was going, the Taxi driver told the Soldier in spanish that I was going back to El Centro. I wanted to see the damage that was done to Danash, but the Soldier had the Taxi driver turn around, he didn't want the Taxi driver to drive by Danash.

Met up with Bbond & some other Dudes in Intimo after my Wild Goose Chase to NLBT. There was a pobrecita chica that was wasted drunk puking her guts up all over herself & all over the floor. It was Frinkin' Nasty! Bbond was trying to help the chica out, she got puke on the back of his shirt.

Sure hope that Jaime at Danash & mi Nuevo Amiga Ivy were not injured in the car bomb blast & fire. This Senseless Violence makes me both Pissed Off & Sad. For over 30 years I have gone off & on to NLBT and most always had a Good Time at Six Flags Over Mexico-The Adult Playground-NLBT. NLBT is a Shadow of it's former self with all the Clubs that have closed down. NLBT was in Life Support Mode with Danash open. In my opinion, this will be the final nail in the coffin in the death of NLBT with Danash closed. Don't know how badly the buiding was damaged, if the owner has the dinero or wants to spend the dinero to reopen.

I didn't get laid Saturday night both out of choice & disappointment. I'm a Picky Bastard & Quite Frankly I was not impressed with the Level of Talent that was available at the El Centro Panocha Bars. I was expecting Panocha from Ivy at Danash-Prime Rib Panocha. And the Majority of Chicas working the El Centro Panocha Bars looked like Cans of Spam Panocha to me. Flaquita Bonita Chicas were Few & Far Between, like an Endangered Species. That must have been a real downer heading over to Danash only to find it was closed. Man, I'm glad you didn't go down there Friday night when the car bomb went off and blew up that Ford Mustang. I was very close to going down Friday night but was alone and decided not to go. I know Bbond can probably get the scoop on the extent of damages / injuries. I'm reaching out to Chente to see what he can find out. You are absolutely right that NLBT was hanging on by a thread with Danash open. If it doesn't reopen, NLBT is all but dead. A very sad thing!

I also know what you mean about the quality of women in the downtown bars. The first couple of times I went to Montera, there were 5 or 6 really good looking women in there. This was a couple of months ago. This past Thursday and Friday when I was there was very slim pickings. It's too bad La Montera can't attract the quality of women that used to frequent Papaguayos and Danash because the service and drink prices are excellent! They should do some recruiting or something. I am also fairly picky when it comes to women after having gone to Danash and spent many years in Adelitas Tijuana, where you could easily have access on any given day or night to 20 plus of the hottest women you have ever seen. Of course, in these two establishments, the drink prices are off the map, unlike La Montera. And then there is Hunters in Acuna, which is another gringo ripoff joint that from what I've heard and what I saw a couple of months ago is also on life support. This is because the dueno, pendejo Tino is a dumb ass and doesn't realize you don't charge gringos $4. 00 a beer and $7. 50 for a woman's drink, not to mention the cost for the room and the women in this shitty economy. My friend and I have tried to tell him this and he just laughs.

I hope things get better down there real soon, although this is very unlikely.

It was great meeting BBond and the Houston crew Saturday nite. However, Saturday was definately scary with the lack of people at Montera then getting questions by the soldiers when buying a hot dog at the Blue fox. I had the delayed freak out the next day.Bbond:

Had the opportunity to drive down to Nuevo Laredo this weekend with Funman13 and the Doctor. Funman13 is a Nuevo Laredo vet and this trip would not have been possible without him. I would also like to thank Bbond and the Nuevo Laredo crew for the help and assistance they gave us, they really went out of their way to help out. This trip would not have been anywhere near as successful if it had not been for there assistance.

I can't really describe Nuevo Laredo as a monger destination, it is a border town that has some working girls in it. The old boys town seems to be quit dead, we never made it to boys town with the bombing on Saturday night and from what Bbond told us even before the firebombing of Danash it was just a shell of its former self. I would imagine with the main bar being bombed boys town will completely dry up.

Down town is where the action seems to be. The down town section is actually quite easy to get to from the boarder. Once you cross the border you go about three or four or maybe five blocks up on the main street Gurraro (Sp?) along the way you will pass many money exchanges as well as pharmacies. I believe all of the pharmacies will sell Viagra, cialis and lavitra for anywhere from $14 to $20 a pill. There are also numerous shops and street carts with people selling all kinds products. There are a lot of hucksters trying get you into the pharmacies to buy something so they can get a cut. You don't need these guys and can just enter any pharmacy and buy whatever you need without their assistance.

The P4P action is centered in three bars called the Montero (sp?) the Huradura / Horse shoe and the intimo (sp?) of these the Montero is the main bar. They are all on the same street running East to West Gurraro runs north to south, once you cross the border on Gurraro you go up three or four blocks until you get to the street where the bars are (I can't remember its name) , Montero will be the first one you see, it will be on your right, the other two are on the same East West street, East of Montero. I want to stress that these are local bars that cater mainly to local Mexican clientele; these are not monger bars like you may be used to. You won't find any or at least very few international or national mongers there, most non Mexican mongers will be American Nationals who live in Nuevo Laredo or who live directly across the border or South Texas and you will find very few of them. These bars can be quit ruff looking in appearance if you are not used to local Mexican bars. The bathrooms in these places are a real bio hazard. There's a [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) trough with [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) and god knows what else floating around in there and the floor is covered with anywhere from one to two inches of [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) water. From my observation the ratio in these bars no matter what time of day or night was always 3 to 6 men for every women, this in my opinion can have serious implications when it comes to finding a chica for a little action.

Of these three bars Montero is the main bar, if there is any bar that remotely resembles a main monger watering hole this would be it, but I want to stress again this is a local bar that caters mainly to Mexican Nationals. The other two bars were always dead especially the Huradura / Horse shoe and really only start to fill up after the Montero closes. Women in these bars are given a ticket each time they get you to buy them a ladies drink, so there is a big push by the chicas to get you to buy them a drink so they can get a cut in the price of the drink. I believe drinks in these bars are around one to two dollars for you and two to three dollars for a ladies drink. The women in these places, in my opinion, were in the 5 to 6 to 7 range with a few 8 mixed in. During the middle of the day these bars could get real slow and the quality of women would drop in my opinion to 2 and 3 with a couple of possible 7.

I personally had a very hard time picking up women in these bars, for every girl I did eventually get two or three would turn me down, though the Doctor and Funman13 had no problem picking up girls. These bars are not working girl house type of bar / casino / strip joints like you may find in San Jose or Tijuana, but regular local bars with simi pros who may need a little extra money now and then. Because of this, the girls are a little pickier on who they decide to go with. It seemed to be very cliquish and the girls wanted to go with people they knew, and like picking up women in any bar she had to be somewhat attracted to you and you had to have some game. I also think the male to female ratio being so much in their favor gave them the upper hand on deciding who they will go with. If it was not for the assistance of Funman13, Bbond and some of the other Nuevo Laredo mongers I might not have gotten laid at all.

The hotel we stayed at was the Hotel Fiesta. I was quite pleased with this place for what we were paying, its 410 pesos a night or 32 USA, clean comfortable rooms, air-conditioning, TV with some English channels or at least some English programs the only problem was no wifi and I did not see an internet café anywhere in the down town area. The hotel is one block further South on Gurarro from the street where the bars are and one block over to the left, this made the hotel location very convenient for visiting the bars and bringing girls back. The guy who works the desk over night speaks perfect English and even knows girls he can call to come over if you need one.

Across the street from the Hotel Fiesta is the Blue Fox, another bar / clip joint. Drinks are a little more expensive here, from what I was told they are 2 to 3 bucks for you and 6 for the girl. Every time we took a look at the place it was completely dead, no one was there but us, all of the girls in my opinion were in the 5 to 6 to 7 range with one or two possible 8. The girls all seem to hang outside the club by the front door since there is no one in the club. The Doctor and I went over one night with the intention of trying out their girls, the Doctor got one for $50 USA plus a $20 exit fee to get her to leave the club and come to his room. I talked with one who wanted 700 pesos for the half hour but did not want to come to my room and was apparently trying to tell me they had rooms on site and wanted to use one of them. I took a pass and left. Came back later that night around 2 in the morning and talked with another girl who was willing to come to my room for the hour for 300 pesos promised to let me go down on her and give a BBBJ but once in the room refused to let me go down on her and wanted a tip for BBBJ. In any other monger destination I would of kicked her out and got another girl, but, in Nuevo Laredo there are not a lot of options especially late at night.

The opportunities for P4P are somewhat limited, I want to stress again this is not a monger location or destination but a regular Mexican town that has some semi pros that can be available when they are despite enough for money or there is some chemistry between you and them. I found the day time action to be almost none existent, the bars are real slow with very few women in them and the ones that are there aren't worth taking, with a few exceptions. There are a few women in the street that you can pick up, these are mainly women who are walking from one bar to the next or just walking in that general area for other purposes, but I want to stress there is not a great deal of them, they can be very few in number, the weekends seem better than the week days and the evenings are better than the middle of the day which can be quit dead, things start to slow down after 2 am and your opportunities for P4P really start to dwindle after that time. The bars fill up on the weekend and there are more girls who seem available on the street, but again the guy to girl ratio is definitely in their favor with there being at a minimum 6 guys for every girl, from my observation.

When I was able to score a girl I found many of them to be GFE with lots of passionate French kissing cuddling BBBJ and hard core sex and one even went anal, with many of them the sessions were all natural. However the problem, for me at least was scoring a girl. Because of the cliquish nature of the monger scene in Nuevo Laredo I found the assistance of Funman13, Bbond and the other Nuevo Laredo crew to be essential. I felt many of the girls were doing it as a personal favor to them rather than any desire to be with me. Prices for a session are a standard 400 pesos if you really like a girl or she did something special you can tip her an extra 100 peso. All girls stayed as long as I wanted never had any rush me or leave before I was finished, but I never tried to get them to stay for hours, did my thing and let them go.

Pesos are the way to go in Nuevo Laredo and I paid for everything with pesos, most places and girls still use the old 10 to 1 conversion so you get a much better deal when using pesos. There are food carts on the street where you can buy burritos or enchiladas for the equivalent of a couple bucks and there are plenty of whole in the wall restaurants in the area, I even noticed a churches chicken and a burger king. Median prices for a meal are the equivalent of five bucks with some meals being a couple bucks less some being a couple bucks more. There is an OXO convenient store one block further south on Gurerro from the street where the bars are that is open 24 hours. I felt relatively safe the whole time I was there, at night I stayed on the street where the bars are or the little block that circled the hotel and the OXO convent store. The Mexican military would drive around in their military vehicles but I was never stopped by them and I never seen them stopping or bothering any one and I personally felt better knowing they were there. My Spanish is extremely limited and almost none existent, I found that 90 to 95% of the girls spoke even less English than I spoke Spanish. But I never found the language to be a barrier in any of my transactions either P4P or regular as there were enough locals who knew enough English to help.

Final Thoughts.

Nuevo Laredo is not a monger destination in the true since of the word, but a regular Mexican town that has some semi pros available. Boys town seems to be a thing of the past and will probably evaporate in the near future. The assistance of Bbond and the Nuevo Laredo crew is essential for a first timer and Nuevo Laredo really cannot be done by a first time novice with out there help. The girls are semi pros for the most part and it will take a little game and appeal as well as connections in order to get them. It's relatively safe and very inexpensive.

Would I return?

As the Doctor said if you live in South Texas it's not a bad place to hold you over until you can take another monger vacation to a real monger location. I probably will return as it seems the type of place where once you get in the clique and the girls get to know you many GFE possibilities could open up.

Thanks for any info you can share.With all the other violence that has happened, threats being made towards the Montera are being taken seriously and have kept it a lot quieter than normal. But girls need money and there is not much else they can do to get it, so they are coming back. The policia / military have increased patrols in the area, they are stopping a lot more vehicles than I have seen them check in a while, at times blocking the main street and checking every car that passes.

Federal cops usually patrol in their own convoys. Both army and navy are here. Border guards are military.

Ok, I got the realtime lowdown on what is transpiring in Nuevo Laredo from my friend Chente, who lives there. Chente has a girlfriend that I have met before that works in Danash. She and 4 other girls were working there last week when the car bomb went off in front of Danash. They all got hit with flying glass and building shrapnel when the bomb went off. They all experienced minor injuries. She had a gash due to glass hitting her leg. Apparently, the front part of the building was damaged to the point of requiring repair. Therefore, Danash is closed until these repairs are done. Also, the Manager that they call "gordo" who stands out in front of Danash and greets customers, was seriously injured.

Chente tells me that the word on the street, from very reliable resources, indicates that the Cartel Del Golfo, in alliance with Chapo Guzmans Sinoloa Cartel, are coming to clean up Nuevo Laredo of Zetas. They want to take control of the plaza and stop the extortion and other shitty acts the Zetas have been involved in. I know this is hard to believe, but thats the buzz. Apparently, part of the plan is to restore NLBT again from a business perspective. A July timeframe was mentioned. In the meantime, I was advised to stay away from NL until the cleanup is completed.

Take it for what its worth. I believe and trust what my friend Chente tells me.

Thanks for the reports. NL scares shit out of me listening to the horror stories. NLBT is a nightmare and one has to be really stupid to visit at this moment. As far as downtown goes, its pretty much ghetto too unless you know great mongers like Bbond.

I had been to NLBT once a year ago and I had no idea even about drug cartels. I did had nice time though. And I went by myself anD I am not even mexican. Looking back now, I feel I was so stupid. I live in the valley and stories from Reynosa or Matamoros are equally scary.

We probably need to look at other places in Mexico which are less dangerous. Veracruz, monterry and Mexico city come to my mind. There are very cheap inexpensive airlines actually from Brownsville and you don't even have to cross the border. I bet there are many more equally good looking girls there as well. Only downside is we need to find a wingman like Bbond or atleast go in groups.

If anybody is down, let me know and we can make arrangments from here. May be we could take mongers from NL to these places especially veracruz which appears to be safer town. One could also enjoy the beach. Flights 2 way is 110 dollars. Aeromexico also has opened new flights from Brownsville to monterry so that one don't have to drive.

For now, I guess its better to avoid NL or State of tamulipus because of zetas Vs sinoloa.

No, it is still closed. Before they finally closed it, one would have to wonder how they afforded to stay open, it was always empty. For that matter I have no idea how the remaining shops in the tourist market remain open, very seldom do I see anyone buying anything in there.

The Sinaloa Cartel attempted back in the mid 2000's to take control of Nuevo Laredo from Los Zetas Cartel. This is back when the Zetas & Gulf Cartel were still Allies. The Sinaloa Cartel has been trying to take control of Juarez from the Juarez Cartel for several years. To the best of my knowledge, the Sinaloa Cartel is still at War with the Juarez Cartel for Control of Juarez. There is No Way In Hell that the Zetas are not going to go to War & Vigorously Defend Nuevo Laredo, their Home Turf. The General Public in Nuevo Laredo is Fucked in my opinion. None of the Cartels give a Fuck about Collateral Damage & whether the General Public possibly gets injured or killed in their War for Control of Nuevo Laredo.

The Gulf Cartel is too weak to fight the Zetas on their own, so they formed an Alliance with Chapo Guzman & his Sinaloa Cartel. You also have Nueva Gente-this is Chapo Guzman's Armed Wing of the Sinaloa Cartel. Nueva Gente is comprised of his gunmen, hitmen, assassins, sicarios. In my opinion you are going to have a long drawn out War between the Cartels for Control of Nuevo Laredo. Nuevo Laredo is Mexico's Largest Entry Land Port into the USA. It is a Major Entry for Drugs into the USA. This is the reason why Chapo Guzman wants Control of Nuevo Laredo. Chapo Guzman ain't being some Philanthropic Drug Lord wanting to rid Nuevo Laredo of the Big Bad Wolf Zetas because they treat the general public like shit by extorting businesses etc. Chapo might put this B. S. In his Narco Messages to the general public attempting to sway positve opinion / responses from the General Public. All the Cartels are Bad, it just a question of Which Cartel Is The Lesser Evil.

Do you ever go to the Herradura at the northwest corner of Hidalgo & Ocampo?Yes, but usually only after the Montera and Intimo close at 1:30-1:45. We were in there until 2:30am this morning. Gf is very good friends with the owner, so that's her favorite bar. It's usually empty until the other bars close. They officially stay open until 4:00am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but often close doors and let people stay longer, exiting later out the side door behind the bar.

I would recommend Hotel Fiesta. I have stayed at Hotel Fiesta many times, I stay there when ever I go to Nuevo Laredo. It's nothing fancy, the rooms are clean with a TV, the air conditioners work very well & you have hot water when you take a shower. Hotel Fiesta rates are 410 Pesos a night, it is located at 559 Ocampo. It is right down the street from the Herradura Bar.

Wow, it was very accurate and this was only your first trip. You are very observant and have good memory. I think once you visit NL a couple more times, the girls will get used to seeing you and will be more friendly. I also think that everyone, especially the girls, were on edge because of the violence. As someone reported, many of the regular girls did not show up. But you were also correct to point out that NL is not Tijuana or Costa Rica.

Fiesta Hotel is the best for us mongers. It is close to the bars, it's cheap, clean, and the front desk staff is great. They watch everyone going in and out. It is very safe.

Actually Montera being in a basement is very safe from an outside bomb. It is like a bunker. The only danger is if someone brings a bomb inside. Whoever knows the owner (Bbond?) should tell him to have guards check all bags, packages, etc. At the entrance, especially vendors and shoe-shine boys as they carry containers large enough to conceal bombs.

Indonesia, the Philippines and some areas of Thailand are under serious threat from Islamist terrorists. For example, bombs have gone off inside night clubs Bali. All public places (bars, hotels, malls, restaurants, etc.) have security guards at entrances. The bigger facilities even have metal detectors and scanners. The tourists never stop coming to those places.

When you say the "tourist market", do you mean the Mercado Maclovio Herrera bounded by Guerrero, Hidalgo, Matamoros, & Belden?That hotel bar, no way, that's a seedy locals area. La Rumba is owned by the same people that had La Mina, sometimes is pretty cool to hang in, Margaritas are outstanding there.

Hotel Sabinas I am not familiar with at all. Sams and Asturias are dumps, and I mean dumps, used mainly as short time places for girls to take guys.

Yes, that is the tourist market I refer to.

My friend talked me into going down to NL on Saturday. I was a little apprehensive to go considering the recent car bombing in front of Danash, the firebombs in the discos, etc. But off we went. I had a weird vibe that something bad was going to go down, and although it didn't, there were a couple of interesting moments that scared the crap out of me.

We go down to the Fiesta Hotel at about 5pm. We checked in and then went across the street for a shrimp cocktel. This place makes them great. They put a hell of a lot of shrimp in the glass.

The first interesting moment was when we were sitting there eating our shrimp cocktails and noticed a brand new Chevy pick up truck drive by. All the windows were heavily tinted. The driver stopped in front of where we were sitting, rolled down his window and stared my friend and I down. I noticed there were three other guys in truck. Anyway, after staring us down, the driver rolled his window up and drove on by. I told my friend that I was freaked out by this and that we ought to finish our shrimp cocktails and get back into the hotel. Well, much to my consternation, we noticed the truck at the corner, ready to make a left turn and drive by us again. We proceeded to take a position behind the vendor stand so as not to be seen as the truck drove right by the stand. The driver very slowly inched the truck in front of the stand and then it stopped. My friend and I proceeded to walk very slowly to the right behind the truck and high tailed it into the hotel. My heart was pounding out of my chest as I had visions of a couple of AR15s going off. Mistaken identity, whatever.

The second interesting moment occurred when my friend and I decided to go up to NLBT at around midnight. I had hooked up with a sweet little blond from Montera and she told me she wanted to go with us to NLBT. She called a friend who pulled up in front of La Montera to give us a ride up there. When we were getting in his car, a couple of young punks pulled up next to our car and one of the guys started cussing out and flipping off my friend for no reason. My friend made some sort of comment like."oh, you're a bad ass!" This prompted the driver to stop the car and the idiota started to get out of the car to come after my friend. I told my friend to hurry up and jump in our car. That we don't know if this dude was packing a pistola or what. He jumped in and we sped off. I jumped all over my friend to never react to stuff like this and to avoid any potential confrontations. Unless he prefers to get his ass shot.

Anyway, now completely freaked out, we head up to NLBT. We drove by Danash to check it out for damage after the car bombing the previous week. It was closed. We didn't see any structural damage at all. Only that the cloth awning out front was not there. Probably burned down. NLBT was slow. Only Marthas, Safari and Fuentes open. We went into Fuentes (next door to Danash) and had some drinks while listening to some Bee Gees and Carlos Santana live. We drove back downtown and my girl and I headed over to Herradura, which is open until 4:00am. Bbond came over to our table and we met each other for the first time and talked for awhile until the bar closed. It was nice to finally meet Bbond.

I was thinking that the La Montera would be slow but it was in fact pretty darn busy. I saw a lot of regulars back and had a great time there. I really like my little blond girl that I met there. Unlike many of the girls at Montera, she is extremely tranquila and low maintenance. She has a perfect little bod and is just a sweetheart. We ended up spending the night at Fiesta and had breakfast the next morning to end the trip.

Keep your eyes and ears open if you plan on coming down here. Be aware of your surroundings at all times and avoid confrontations at all costs.

Came across once again Friday evening. I stayed at the Fiesta for one night. I like it, but have been spoiled after I had room 120 a few times and could not get it on this trip. I never seem to get it after 5:00pm. Go figure.

Anyways, If you do go, and check in, make sure U-turn on the shower and make sure it works and is hot before you unpack (may take a few before it gets hot). Been in that situation a few times and the last thing you want is to unpack, and then get ready for a shower, and it is on the fritz. Anyways, the night guy is cool (from 11pm to 7am).1/2 manager / 1/2 security. All-in-all a good dude. I usually arrive back with a cold Coke for him.

So, to the bar scene. Went to bar Montera on Friday. Was just OK. Was packed, but IMHO with 4-5's. Now, for those that have been down here a few times, that changes with the wind. Not sure why and there appears to be no rhyme or reason. Some days good, some days bad? After Montera closes I usually truck down to where those two girls create the delicious tacos / quesadillas. Right behind there is a bar. Not sure of the name but he opens most times. He doesn't put up with crap and tries but for the most part, but, it is just a bar that is open after the masses leave the Montera.

Funny thing watching all those that were at Montera end up there. The good, bad, and ugly, including myself of course.

Note: If you are F'd up please be careful of the scammers. I don't want to get into details here but just keep your eyes open and if you are wasted well shame on you!

The other bar, as has been mentioned here (Herradura) , is across the street from that. I don't really go in there much as, well, not sure, just something isn't really right with it. Just my. 02 folks.

Next day I switched to the Matamorus Hotel. If you go to the Montera all the way to the stop sign (50 feet) and the end of the block, it is to the right about 50 feet.

Great people. Just pay him and you are in. Eclectic rooms. The price is a tad more but the rooms are like, well, (just my. 02) , like when you were in high-school and that was your bedroom in your parents house. Anyways, again, good guy. Pay with pesos and save. Tell him you stayed there before and payed 400. Trust me on that.

So, day 2, Saturday. I am having issues with finding stuff to do during the day. Sure, I can eat some tacos, I can shop, bla bla bla. But, for the most part, it is not like Rio, LOS or ant other place fI have been. And that's OK! I get it. Nuevo Laredo is not a real mongering place (like Rio or LOS (massages, beach, etc.).

BUT, But. I have been in Montera a few times and you CAN find some good afternoon talent there. Not bad to say the least! I am not saying you will, but you CAN. Some of these girls will not stay in the evening. Or at least they say they won't. So good luck and if anything, it's a great place to have a cold one when it's 103 degrees out here!

OK, that evening went to Montera. Saw some good friends. There were some girls there that threw me off. A table or 2 were like 8's. But, they appeared to be NO P2P. I pretty much confirmed that. Given the music (which is great) I figure perhaps some college chicas just wanting to hear music (but in a place like Neuvo Laredo). Ahh, whatever.

Lastly. To someones comment. I think the security / helper dude at Montera is gone. We all know him so I don't need to mention names. They "appear" to have some older cat at the door that looks at gives a yay or nay when he can at the bottom of the stair. Anyways, it is like a bunker so I am not really concerned unless someone walks in with a bomb. Then we are all Mongers of the past. Later and be safe. Make sure your taco wears a condom.

I've been a veteran to the NLBT scene for over 25 years. Since my highschool days living in Laredo. Over the many years I used to go regularly with a buddy of mine, but since his wife started wearing the pants at home his wings were clipped and his balls put in a jar on the shelf. No more going out or trips to NL for him. Which incidentally has left me as a lone wolf. I have some cautious reservations about going to the clubs downtown alone and was wondering how to hook up with you. I am getting to be the world's worst at staying updated on these updates.

All three instances involved scheduling snafus, and was only able to go one weekend night instead of both Friday and Saturday that I've been known to do.

Saturday May 2nd – went to NLBT. Somewhat slim pickings, but I got to go with the Guadalajara girl, and two of my usual flings, which was nice. I'd say it was an ok night for what was offered.

Friday May 11th – went to NLBT. Really really slim pickings. Slow as eff. Guadalajara girl wasn't there, but one of my other flings was, went with her twice in two long sessions. Ended up that that's all I got, the few other girls jacked up their rates for no real reason. I felt somewhat victorious employing her of all girls, while the others shot themselves in the foot asking for as much as $60 USD.

For whatever reason on this instance, had some bar / taco stand ladies start hounding me asking me how I got here, and how I plan on getting back to the bridge if there's no taxis, and I tried to A.) NOT tell them I drove my own car and B.) tell them in my best / worst indoor tone that I've done NLBT before and I know my ins and outs and it's not of their concern whatsoever and to not pester me about needing a ride back to the bridge.

I'm glad I caught up with one of my preferred doorway girls, but the night was really feeling dank, I left after three hours.

Saturday May 20 – drove down Hwy 83 and hit up Reynosa's BT. Compared to the last few times at NLBT, lot's and lot's of girls. Lot's and lot's of drunken men. No one bothered or tormented us. Was worth the drive from Laredo. If I go mongering again, not sure when that'll be, but I'd say when picking out a doorway girl, to go with one who's room is equipped with a wall or plugin AC unit. A fan blade just won't cut it.

If only McAllen didn't add 150 miles each way damnit.

As far as the rooms go I actually prefer them over the Fiesta. Well I can't say that across the board as room 120 at Fiesta has my vote but it is seldom available when I arrive in NL (usually later in the evening). As far as the cost the last time I went (2 weeks ago) he tried to shank me for 450. I explained that it was 400 in the past and he said oh, oh, if you are a regular customer then it is 400. What Beavis says has merit. However, I think that with some serious money invested, and NO COPS to hassle people, it will make a strong come-back. There are still tons of guys that do not read this board that visit there regularly, make it user friendly and more will follow. Crooked cops put a serious dent in the business, violence sealed it's fate. Remove those two factors, and I believe it will come back. Like it was before? On another note, downtown is pure narco heaven, probably 95 to 97 percent of the downtown girls are serious drug users. My friend and I got down to Nuevo Laredo at about 10pm Friday night. We headed over to the Hotel Fiesta and were told there was no running water in the place. The desk dude told us it had been out all day. When we asked him about other hotels in the area he said they all had problems with the water working as well. We decided to head over to a hotel by the plaza that Laura from Montera recommended. It's called El Meson Del Rey. The rooms were $35 and were twice as nice as Fiesta. Tiled and marble floors, new air conditioners that worked great and plenty of hot water in nice looking showers. We will never do Fiesta again after staying here!

Anyway, went to Montera at around 11pm. There were only a couple of good looking women so we headed over to The Blue Fox. This establishment is starting to get more to our likings as they will play any music you want and there are some pretty good looking women in there these day. A flaquita bonita (if I may use your vernacular McLipsch) came over and I immediately recognized her from Danash. Beautiful young thing (I forgot her name). She showed me about a 6 inch scar from some building shrapnel that cut her very badly during that bombing a couple of weeks ago. She told us she was the only girl injured and that there were 3 car bombs that went off. To make a long story short, she said the bombs scared the hell out of her so much that she will never touch foot en la zona otra vez. She wanted $100 to join us drinking for the evening and god knows how much for mas action. She will need to learn that she can't charge like that at the Blue Fox if she wants customers. So off we went to Danash. But on the way, we ran into Chente who took us there in his new white F250 pickup.

We got to Danash at about midnight and there were maybe a total of 6 guys and 6 girls in the place. It was pretty dead. I ended up having numerous lap dances from an absolute stunner (best looking chick I have ever seen in Danash) by the name of Emily. We got tired of paying the requisite $10 a drink for the women and decided to go back to the hotel.

The next day, we headed out for some Chinese Food (there are 2 excellent restaurants on Guerrero towards the bridge). I ended up going over to La Montera at about 3pm and spent the afternoon with a cute little blond in a zebra patterened dress. We dance and drank until about 7pm when I told her I needed to go take a nap and shower. My buddy and I returned to La Montera at about 9pm Saturday night. Ran into Chente again. The last think I need is for some local to cause me problems in the future.

My girl and I headed over to La Herradura after Montera closed and drank and danced till the wee hours. I saw Bbond and McKlipsch sitting at another table and thought it was cool running into them. We headed over to my hotel and had a great evening.

I think XFactors has the right photo of El Meson Del Rey Hotel. Best hotel in el centro.While the Meson del Rey may be a quite nice place, I had another friend that also liked it, until one night, he said there was so much distraction going on that he promptly moved over to the Fiesta.

We'll have to see if he comments on what all was going on and why he moved.

It's easy to locate, directly across from the plaza at the old presidential palace between Calles Dr. Mier and Gonzales, on Guerrero.

Friday, at 11:15 in the morning, they popped a car bomb at the municipal palace. 7 people hurt. Girlfriends daughter was hit in the hand by a small piece of flying junk, but unhurt, just scratched her hand slightly, they were quite a distance away when it popped, but close enough to get hit. Link has photos, vehicle was a Ford Ranger pick-up, it was destroyed, damaging 11 other vehicles. It was parked on Heroes de Nacataz street, about the same place the van with 14 bodies was found a few weeks back. The word on the street is that more are going to happen, especially after the elections. Both sides declaring an all out war. Downtown, and other areas, may get nasty soon. A friend last night, guy is a waiter at Parridilla restaurant, was stopped walking home by guys porting AK-47s, no problems, they just wanted to know who he was and why he was on the street in that area at night. Some advice, if that should happen to you, just co-operate, answers questions, show I'd if asked, they aren't after innocents, but may ask you to show that you are ok. These guys are serious, they shot and killed 2 guys right in front of the Fiesta, they have been pulling guys off the street in to vans, never to be seen again. Only thing we need to be concerned with is being at wrong place at wrong time.

The two dudes that were shot happened happened late Friday night June 22 / early Saturday morning June 23. Beavis heard the gunshots from his room on the first floor at Hotel Fiesta. Beavis & I talked to Charlie the Night Dude at Hotel Fiesta Saturday night about the shootings. Charlie stated that two dudes were shot by Zetas across the street from Hotel Fiesta on the corner & then loaded into a vehicle. Charlie thought the two dudes were killed.

Well I'll see you guys down there.I think I have mentioned before that Friday and Saturday nights are not as they once were, there's so many people in the Montera it's just stupidly full. The Herradura and Jorrochos won't have anyone in them untl after 1:00 am. Then it's basically a couples scene, some loose girls but not usually many. The Intimo and pool hall can be good places to be, and can be bad too, just depends on what's happening everywhere else. I have a live in gf so my activities are pretty much limited to going out with her, usually the pool hall until late, then she likes going to Arkanos and the Herradura. I can still meet, and hang with, visiting friends, just not as much as I once could.

The friend Bbond referred to was me. For years I would stay in Fiesta. Then I found out about Del Rey and I loved it. The place was very clean and the A / C great, until I stayed there one winter. They don't have heaters and I was literally shivering and shaking. The next day I was moved to a lower floor which was warmer but I still had to use two blankets.

Then a couple years later, last winter, I went there on Dec. 5. See my post #1317 dated 12-28-11. Some of you may remember the temperature fell below freezing that night and I arrived in NL at 2:30 AM. I went straight to Del Ray. That night the place was really f*ing cold, like hell froze over. To make things worse, by about 4 to 5 AM, people in other rooms were talking and walking around. The tile floors amplified the sounds. Of course I did not sleep a wink and packed for Fiesta at 7 AM. Fiesta had portable heaters at every room. Because of this experience, I feel loyalty and gratitude to Fiesta and will never stay in Del Rey again, which is more expensive but doesn't give a shit about its guests. The front desk workers were also quiet unfriendly. Fiesta has Juan, Charlie & Jaime.

Made a run for the border Saturday evening. Stayed at Hotel Fiesta as usual. I hit the El Centro Panocha Bars at 10:15 PM. Cruised through Montera & Herradura looking for Bbond & BabyHuey. I found Bbond playing pool at the Pool Hall across the street from Intimo with another Gringo that lives in Nuevo Laredo.

Bbond told me that BabyHuey was over at the Blue Fox watching the UFC MMA Fights on TV. Bbond introduced me to Balto1 when he came into the Pool Hall. Drank two Tecate cervezas & talked to Balto1 some. Balto1 is a cool dude. Balto1 left to go join BabyHuey at the Blue Fox. A chica came into the Pool Hall that I had met several weeks ago, I don't remember her name, I fucked her sister Jessica & Beavis fucked this chica. I bought her a Dos Equis cerveza. She & Bbond played a game of pool. After finishing my second Tecate, I left to go join Balto1 & BabyHuey at the Blue Fox. Hola XFactors, I didn't feel in danger walking around the NLBT Complex. NLBT is a Frickin' Ghost Town, the 2nd street where they sell drugs is the most active street. There was a group of young Mexicano Dudes in the old Drug Dealing spot right past the Green Building. There were a group of people outside of a club where the old Pimp Daddies was located. There were quite a few people in the pool hall playing pool. I didn't see any outstanding Door Girls that made me want to rent their panocha, there weren't a lot of door girls-the majority of door girls were located on the 2nd street. The first street where Tamykos & Marta's is located is dark / no lights & deserted. The third street over is dark & deserted. I think the bar with the 8 ball / pool ball is still open. In the last month or so I know two friends that have been robbed at gun point, one happened last night. Not sure of exact location, downtown somewhere, just after crossing bridge, driving. Guy is a tad shady, he buys recreational products, (know what I mean?) , so it could have been while he was stopped doing that. The other happened at a guy's apartment, located quite a ways from downtown, they took his truck and wallet, both were recovered minus his radio and cash, he says he isn't ever returning to Mexico.

Last night the military / policia presence was very heavy downtown, they entered bars Arkano, Jorrochos, and Herradura meaning business, we saw one guy beaten and hauled away, and another beaten and left. The first guy was in a fight, they saw him trying to leave and nabbed him, the second guy is a recreational products salesman, he was relieved of his cash and merchandise, but not taken.

I'm somewhat new to this board but have been on other boards for years, mostly the Tijuana boards. But I have been to Laredo a twice and Monterrey 3 times. And I have to say, NL is one of the only cities to make me wonder if I should be there. The only other time I have ever felt this way mongering is in Costa Rica, not so much the city itself but the walk through the park from the Del Rey to the Castillo. This from a guy that has walked drunk (and stupid) from the zona norte in Tijuana to the border several times.

The one time I went to BT, there was no one in the streets at night. Even the dogs disappeared and if you know Mexico, you know dogs are everywhere. BT was a ghost town with only one bar open and no street girls or taco stands open. The freaking taxi driver even refused to go in. This was late last year. Was worried about finding a ride back but luckily another tourist (idiot like myself) wanted to see if the taxi driver was lying in regards to BT closing. He nicely allowed me to bum a ride with him back to Herradura.

Now with BBond's latest post, I think NL is over for me, just too dangerous and the quality of girls I saw was just not worth it. made a run for the border saturday evening. there was a motorcyle event going on at the first park on the left from the bridge on guerero street-not sure how to spell the street name. there were a shitload of people with their bikes & music being played. the street was closed off around the event. nuevo laredo must have gotten some rain saturday, there was standing water in the streets.

Unbelievable about the situation in NLBT and Danash in particular. Man, how some great things can go to hell. Like Papaguayos, Tamykos and now Danash. You know the best times in NLBT were when La Ophelia was managing Papaguayos and the old abuela was running Tamykos with her daughter. Danash would have at least 20 beautiful women working on each weekend night. Chente and I would prep for the evening by imbibing a couple of cervezas at La Mina (now unbelievably closed) before heading up to NLBT. We never got checked at the entrance by the corrupt police because Chente knew every one of them. They would wave us on after high fiving us. Man I miss those times. We ought to spend some weekend in Tijuana. You me and Bbond. Had some great times there when I livef in Orange County California.

My friend Chente told me that last Sunday some grenades were thrown en La Mercado downtown and in a bar call Oasis. Don't know if anyone was hurt.My girl talked to an eye witness to the Oasis deal, said several people hurt, possibly some died. There was an other grenade thrown, but it can't get any confirmation concerning the Mercado, people we talked to said it was thrown close to bridge 2. Rumor continues that they are trying to hit the Montera. Military / policia presence has been heavy as of late.

I'm starting to get burned out on going down to Nuevo Laredo and the downtown scene. There isn't really enough talent around there. You go to Montera, and there are only 2 or 3women that are really attractive. Same goes for the Blue Fox. I'm getting tired of the same music at La Montera. I prefer the Blue Fox as it is more comfortable and the duena will play all the American music you want.

There are some great bars down there including Adelitas and Chicago Club. You can literally walk into Adelitas and from 9am. 6am the place will be jumping. And I'm talking some of the most beautiful women you have ever seen.

Have you thought about trying Reynosa boystown? You might like it better. The door girls can be pretty good in Reynosa boystown. There has been violence in Reynosa also, because of the drug cartels. And you have to watch out for crooked cops in Reynosa, trying to steal your money.

If you decide to check out Reynosa boystown, you might want to consider staying in Hotel La Villita, in Reynosa. It's about 2 blocks from RBT, and you can just walk to RBT, from this hotel. CenTexCrash provided a review of this hotel, in the Reynosa forum.

Once I saw 2 girls arrive at the Montera in a car belonging to one of them, parked the car across the street, they were arrested just walking from the car to the Montera. Other nights they don't bother them, go figure.

That hotel bar, no way, that's a seedy locals area. La Rumba is owned by the same people that had La Mina, sometimes is pretty cool to hang in, Margaritas are outstanding there.Isn't there also a Rumba Bar at NLBT? Hotel Ramirez is a dive hotel, caters mainly to street hookers that take guys there by the hour, but rooms can be rented by the night, very cheap, very sleazy, no way would I stay there. I wouldn't even take a girl there for an hour, I am just plain not going in there again, yes I took a girl there about 7 years ago, way before I became permanent here.

#5. The pool hall, Biliar Angel, was Cafe Angel, the cafe relocated next door, smaller place, on the Galeana side, it's no longer open. Several years ago, before the pool hall took it over, I used to eat regularly in Cafe Angel. The place now is quite small, it was open very infrequently, now I never see it open.

There are several bars downtown, most quite small, some very comfortable, some not, I have stuck my head in many of them, drank a beer in a few. Most very few customers in the daytime, nights they cater mostly to drunk locals.

I was told that it picks up on Friday and Saturday, locals almost exclusively, after other bars in town close, between 1:30 and 2:00am.

The last time I was in NLBT at night, I had gone out there some local guys at 3:00am on a Saturday night, Sunday morning. The place was packed like I have never seen it, literally wall to wall cars, the locals bars were wall to wall people, we went into Los Arcos and Gattas (formerly Pimp Daddys) , wound at the Star Bar where we could get a table. Left at 5:30 am and it was still extremely crowded. Walking from Los Arcos up to the Star Bar, passed a few door girls still working at that hour, was quoted "100 pesos nada mas" by two of them. I was way too drunk to partake in their services, and I still had to drive home.

Maria from the green building, across from Gattas, told me that Gattas is open Friday and Saturdays only, and usually has at least one fight per night, sometimes guys sometimes girls.Bbond, I can't figure out how to send you a private message. I have not been to Nuevo Laredo / Mexico since Saturday night July 28. I was thinking about going to Reynosa Boystown 3 weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. I blew off going to Reynosa BT and went to Sears and purchased a bicycle. On the way home from Sears, my frickin' brakes went out on me not too far from my house. It's a fucked up feeling when your brake pedal goes all the way to the floor with no brakes. It would have been Major League Fucked Up to have been on the highway to McAllen and lost my brakes. I thought it was the master cylinder on my brakes. Turns out it was corroded brake lines on my 2001 GMC 2500 HD truck. The Garage / Shop had to replace all my brake lines & I also had them do a transmission fluid change. They don't sell pre fab brake lines. So the mechanic had to bend all the brakes lines with tubing benders to match the factory brake lines-very labor intensive. That set me back $1177. 25.

The same week that my truck was in the shop, I had air conditioning problems with my outside condenser unit at mi casa. Had to have the motor run capacitor and condenser fan motor replaced-$686.

I had planned on going to Reynosa BT last Saturday night but I got muy borracho Friday night drinking Lonestar Longnecks with lime / salt. I had a Major League Hangover Saturday so I blew off going to Reynosa BT. I didn't want to sweat my ass off partaking / renting Door Girl's panocha in their rooms without air conditioning while still recovering from a hangover. I last went to Reynosa BT in June and the Door Girl selection sucked hind tit, it was very poor. The one chica that I did partake of had a fan in her room & I sweated my ass off. I don't know if any of the Reynosa BT Door Girls have A / C in their rooms. I remember a few Nuevo Laredo BT Door Girls used to have A / C in their rooms. I read several favorable reports from different dudes that went to Reynosa BT in July. So I have been wanting to check out Reynosa BT.

Lipstick in Reynosa BT is the equivalent to Danash in NLBT, it's an upscale strip club. Panocha prices at Lipstick from what I have been told is 1800-2000 Pesos which is just too much dinero in my opinion. Back in June when I went to Reynosa BT, Lipstick had several hot chicas whom I would have paid Danash Panocha prices 1300 Pesos. And a bunch of average chicas whom I would have paid Papagayo panocha prices. I always use Lipstick as a base of operations when I go to Reynosa BT. I drink beer there, use their bathroom and rest / recover there between partaking of door girls. I am friendly with the two security dudes that work the front doors at Lipstick. They are cool, I always talk/b.s. with them. I have been to Lipstick enough that the Meseros recognize/remember me and give me good service. I always give a Mesero a propina for their service when they bring me a beer. Not many Gringos go to Reynosa BT, every once in a while I might see another Gringo. I am usually the only Gringo at Reynosa BT when I visit.

Nuevo Laredo Boystown is not worth going to anymore at all in my humble opinion. I have not seen much of a selection of my preferred chica body type-flaquita bonitas at the El Centro Panocha Bars in Nuevo Laredo in my previous visits. Thick gordita & gorda chicas are the predominant body types in the Nuevo Laredo El Centro Panocha Bars when I have visited. And reading about the clubs getting blown up with grenades does not inspire confidence in my visiting Nuevo Laredo right now. So I will most likely visit Reynosa BT sometime in the near future to see if it is worth a shit and to my liking.

Last night, Thursday, about 9:30, at least 7 shot in front of the Herradura, the corner by Arkanos. 5 for sure killed, also in front of Unico (Unicorn) , unknown number there, the military an police would not let anyone close. We took a girl, a friend of one of the killed at Arkanos, to the funeral home to identify his body, they told us they had 20+ bodies, all killed last night, and had a call to pick up more at different locations in the city. Looks like things are getting quite nasty around town, and now downtown is not exempt.

The media in Nuevo Laredo is absolutely afraid to report these incidences. In addition to this incident reported by Bbond, there was a shooting a few months ago where soldiers pinned a pickup right by the entrance of La Montera and killed 3-4 individuals. Also, two men were killed right in front of the Hotel Fiesta and thrown in a van. None of these were reported by the local papers (El Diario and El Manana). There is a report of this latest incident in the Laredo Morning Times but I don't subscribe and can't read the article in detail. Refers to a score getting settled between cartel members.

I told Bbond a few weeks past that I have had some real bad vibes about that area where the Fiesta Hotel is and the whole Herradura, Arkano, La Montera area. Sure enough, this latest incident occurred. I posted a couple of weeks ago where my friend and I were having a shrimp cocktail in front of the Fiesta Hotel and were seriously eyeballed by a pickup truck full of characters who I believe were looking for someone. Driver had a pair of black gloves, windows were heavily tinted. Could have sworn I saw the barrel of what looked like an AR15 in the hands of one of them.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm going to have to start going back to Hunters in Acuna. Acuna is the only safe place I think there is for border towns these days.

Refers to a score getting settled between cartel members.The LMT article is not exactly accurate,"According to early reports, federal investigators said men armed with AK-47s entered the bar and shot several people inside", which is not exactly correct, all shots were fired outside on the corner by Arkanos.

Guys, let's not be too hard on the NL press. We know they are threatened by the Narcos and maybe even the troops. I always feel sad when journalists are hurt or killed performing their duties. Mexico has lost enough of them. Without a free press, the world is f*ed. These people keep the world sane.

On the other hand, I think the Laredo Press tucked safely inside the US of A can pick up the slack. The world needs to know what's going on in NL.

Reynosa BT was Mediocre Saturday night Sept. 8. Lipstick closed at 1:25 AM really sudden, they turned on the lights & herded all the chicas out the back. I asked one of the Security Guys why they closed so early, he said problemas. I have never seen Lipstick close this early & the vague explanation for closing gave me a bad vibe. Reynosa is a little too far for me to drive but I appreciate the information. Well, fed up with the same old scene of NL and La Montera, Herradura etc. As well as Thursday's shooting, I headed over to Acuna. I hadn't been to Hunter's for about 6 months and thought I would give it a shot. Funny thing is that I have previously hated this place every previous time I had been there. But went anyway. Just needed a change from NL.

Got to Border Taxi and first went to the Corona Club downtown for a few cervezas. This is one of my favorite bars in North America. Great rodeo decor and country ambience with acoustics perfect for listening to country music. There were about 7 people in the place. All locals and no gringos. Coronas are $1. 00. This place used to be jumping 5 years ago. Full on weekends with gringos and locals and several excellent country acts performing including Radney Foster, Jack Ingram, etc. I don't really care that much for country music, but for some reason, that music sounds phenomenal in the place with the ambience, decor, etc. I was sitting there drinking ice cold coronas thinking what a nice change from the hussle of NL and all the crap going on down there.

After 4 coronas, I headed over to the hotel San Jorge, which is an old hotel but decent. Took a shower and then headed two blocks down to a locals bar called Tochos. This place is full of locals and they exclusively play ranchera music. Had a couple of Tecate lights. Most of the women in this place are the typical locals type. Muy gordita mujeres. I ran into a flaquita bonita (using McKlipsch's vernacular) from Tijuana. Real cute girl. We chatted and she told me she is from Tijuana. We started talking about some of my favorite hangouts in Tijuana including Rosarito Beach further south and Ensenada even further south. She was a doll. Like an idiot, instead of staying with her, I wanted very badly to head up to Hunters just to see what the action was like.

There were only 3 of us gringos in the whole place Saturday night. I place the blame solely on the owner, Tino. He has historically charged outrageous prices for drinks and rooms. I have told him many times that his lack of business acumen is only hurting him. He laughs but never does anything about it. I project that Hunters Club will be closed completely within 6 months, similar to what happened to the restaurant downtown called Crosbys, which was an outstanding place to go for drinks and food for years. This is really sad because Hunters, under the right management, could be a dynamite place to go as I consider Acuna to be one of the safest, if not the safest border towns in South Texas.

My friend did mange to hit NL this past weekend where he told me there were several candles and a shrine out front of La Herradura. He has a girlfriend that works in the Blue Fox who told him that she and the other employees there could hear the gunshots and bullets hitting the wall last Thursday outside of La Herradura, which is very close to the Blue Fox. She told him that she will not return there to work anymore as she is frightened to death over what happened.

I am really getting burned out on the NL girls. As Bbond alluded to in a previous text, most of them are manipulating, conniving women. I totally agree and am getting tired of it. I took an absolutely beautiful women from La Montera to the Blue Fox two weeks ago. I mean this is the hottest women that I think ever walked into that bar. Prior to heading over to the Blue Fox, I bought her copious beers and about 6 tequila shots of the good stuff. We head over to the Blue Fox and I continued to buy her drinks while she is hanging all over me. The next thing I know, some local comes over to her and says something and she proceeds to tell me,"I need to go to fuck so I make money. Are you okay I do this?" I looked at her and told her,"No, I'm not okay." Of course she went anyway. I sat back down and had a beer and I kid you not, she came back in no more than 20 minutes and proceeded to sit right next to me and put her arm around me. I proceeded to call another cutie over and refused to even look at her. Well, she got the hint and left in 10 minutes. The bottom line is that there is no level of respect shown from the majority of these women. It's all about the money first. Even though I would have ended up in the hotel with her. They don't understand the dynamic of being respectful to clients as will be beneficial in the long run.

Well, this same girl (and she is damn beautiful) sends me a text and asks me if I am mad at her. Needless to say, I had a choice response for her. So, the moral of the story is that most of these chicas will manipulate your ass and disrepect you in a moments time in the name of quick money, even if it could end up hurting them in the long run. I have met two girls from the La Montera that are actually sweethearts and are respectful. But the majority are not. I won't be going back to NL for a long time as a result.

The past seven days have seen 54 violent deaths in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, which makes this week the most violent one so far this year. With the most recent incidents taking place early Thursday, the USA Consulate in Nuevo Laredo has issued a warning to Americans about an increase in violence related to what is called a 'Transnational Criminal Organization, ' or TCO, 'in and around Nuevo Laredo. ' 'During the past week, there have been 40 deaths related to the TCO in 12 unrelated incidents, ' the consulate said in a news release, adding that Mexican law enforcement sources said 'the increase in violence could be because of a split in the leadership of the TCO Los Zetas. ' In one of the most recent incidents, four men were killed and two other people wounded, according to a federal source who spoke anonymously. Two of the four victims were killed in a gunfight with members of a rival criminal organization, and two in a shootout with state military police. You are absolutely right Bbond. I have a bad vibe that it's just a matter of time that I will be close to something goin down one of these weekends. And to make matters worse, I find that the girl I spent 3 hours dancing with on Saturday in the Herradura is connected with a less than desirable character that is pretty well know for some bad deeds. Man, I better lay low for awhile. That alley way from the Blue Fox down to the Herradura always spooks me for some reason. People, avoid that route and keep your eyes and ears open if you are going to venture down there as Bbond says. This is the real deal and no joke.

On a side note, my friend and I went down to Boystown Satuday night. First time I've ever seen Danash closed. The place is empty and horrible. As my friend and I walked out of Safari's, which was full of some gorditas, we heard about 6 gunshots and smelled cordite in the air. Needless to say, we quickly had one of the girls I know that used to work at Papauayos offer to give us a ride back to the centro.

Details sketchy on Tuesday night's shootings. Everyone I talked with can't get a full story from anyone. Fact is there was a grenade thrown at the Montera, it however bounced down to the bakery a couple doors down, explosive damage proves that. The sign that said Bar Montera, no longer says that, bullet damage, broken windows all over the area. But total number killed, and exactly what happened there, is a mystery, people afraid to talk. I also have info that two girls were killed by the Intimo, but that is unconfirmed, my girlfriend swears it is true, but I am not so sure. Couple I talked to last night says downtown was a virtual ghost town, streets all over very vacant. Last night, FRIDAY, downtown Nuevo Laredo was a virtual ghost town. It rained very hard for a couple hours, that might have played a small part. A 1:30am drive through this morning I saw maybe 2 cars, Intimo, pool hall, Arkanos, Jorrochos, Herradura, Montera, were all closed.

I find that the girl I spent 3 hours dancing with on Saturday in the Herradura is connected with a less than desirable character that is pretty well know for some bad deeds.That's not surprising, most of them are connected with some nasty people. You're right. I am crazy for going down this past weekend. It appears that the girls from La Montera have moved to either Emilianos (located right over the bridge before where La Mina used to be) , La Rhumba or the Blue Fox. Went to all three places and saw several La Montera girls at each. I received a call from Laura Friday morning. Laura is the one I mentioned previously in a post. She is, in my opinion one of the hottest looking woman that ever graced La Montera. If you will recall, she and I hung out one night at La Montera and she wanted to go with my friend and I to the Blue Fox. When we got to the Blue Fox, five minutes later, she told me she was going to the room with a dude and asked me if it was okay. I told her it wasnt but she went anyway. She was back in 20 minutes sitting with me and finally left as I called another girl over. Anyway, I decided to give her another chance on Friday. She told me to meet her at Emilianos at 6pm but didn't show up until 7:30pm. I bought her and her friend a beer and I told her, adios, we're goin to the Blue Fox. Went to the Blue Fox and hooked up with a girl from Brazil. Beautiful face and very fun. Well, in walks Laura and sees me kissing and dancing with this girl. Laura doesn't try to get my attention or come over or anything. She basically sat at a table alone for about 2 hours. The next day she texts me and proceeds to ream me out for kissing another girl in front of her and tells me never to text her again. Go figure!

Anyway, the reason I thought I'd give Laura another chance is that we had an interesting conversation last week. I asked her why she can never show any emotion or look like she's happy. I told her she has a very hard heart. She told me that she had several relationships with men and that every one of them deceived her. Therefore, she wants absolutely nothing to do with men other than as she put it "win their money." She commands $100 a session and the dudes willingly pay for it. Man, that grenade really blew up that one establishment! A bunch of the waiters were hanging out in front of La Montera last Friday afternoon like they were standing in a vigil. One of them (our favorite waiter. Skinny kid) told us that the rivals are battling each other for every block or plaza I think he said. He told us they will open Montera in two weeks. I feel bad for these poor people as this screws up their livelihood.

I drove down to NL Friday. Got there around 8pm. I was supposed to meet Laura (beautiful body) at Emilianos at 8:00pm. Emilianos is a small bar on the right hand side of Guerrero, real close to the bridge. Waited an hour and Laura never showed up. I went over to La Rhumba, which is a bar behind Emilianos. It was not happening. Several locals in the place so I decided to head over to the Blue Fox. The Blue Fox was fun. I hung out with a pretty girl from Brazil and then decided to go over to La Herradura. I met Bbond and his girlfriend there, and danced a couple of times with a friend of theirs. I left and went to Jorochos for awhile. Met a good looking girl there and headed back to my hotel. This was around 4am. I don't recall how I got back to the hotel as I consumed several beers and was pretty drunk. I do not recommend ever doing something like this, especially considering that I was alone. I do recall that the streets, early and late in the night were pretty empty. Very eerie feeling.

The next morning, I went down to Marla's (near the bridge) and had breakfast. This is a good place for breakfast. Great food. As I was eating, I saw my friend from San Antonio walking towards the hotel. I didn't know he was coming. I flagged him down and we had breakfast and headed to our hotel. At around 8pm, he was in the shower, so I headed over to Emilianos and was going to meet up with him shortly. As I entered the bar, which was packed with people, I was approached by a waiter who I know from the Blue Fox. A young kid. He told me that at around 6pm, a boy and a girl (in his words) were shot and killed INSIDE of the Blue Fox. He looked scared as hell and told me that the guy that was killed was working as a waiter at the Blue Fox and it was his first day on the job. The next thing I knew (and I had only been in the bar about 10 minutes) the security guy for the bar starting closing the windows and doors and shuttered the bar down, while escorting all patrons out of the bar. And believe me, all this was done real quick, like the establishment got a call or something or got tipped off. Who knows. As we were leaving the bar, I noticed several people coming from La Rhumba as they shut it down as well. It was really something. I mean people were practically running down the streets to get the hell out of dodge. My friend and I got spooked by all the commotion and high tailed it back to our apartment. The whole centro was shut down with nobody left on the streets.

So its 9pm now and my friend and I are sitting in our hotel with nothing to do. I had received a text earlier from Laura. She said she was going to meet me in Emilianos at 930. I texted her back and told her it was closed. So my friend and I had a great idea. Let's bring the party to our hotel. I asked Laura to come over to our hotel room and she said ok. I met her out in front of the lobby. My God did she look beautiful getting out of that taxi. Most beautiful rack I have ever seen in my life. I mean she is stunningly hot. Anyway, she comes up to our room. By this time, we had gone to a liquor store earlier and bought a case of beer and some ice. We hung out drinking beer and talking. About an hour later, my friend told me he was going out on the streets to get some tacos. Not very bright to say the least. The next think I know, he comes back to the hotel with a good looking girl he met on the streets. So we proceeded to party and have a good time. I couldn't take looking at Laura anymore and had to take her to my room. As we get in my room, she takes my shoes off and then undresses. I always imagined what her body would look like naked and I couldn 't believe what I saw. My goodness what a body. So we lay down on the bed and the first thing on my mind is to put my lips on those boobs. Well, I did so and she got pissed because she said I bit her. Which I did not. She told me, I am muy enojado for you do this. Well, I got pissed and told her to get the hell out of my room as it was obvious all she wanted to do was get the deed done, collect her money and get the hell out of the place. She looked at me when I told her to get out of the room with that "are you kidding me" look. Nobody throws Laura, the princesa out of their hotel room. Well, Riki kicked her ass out as fast as they closed Emilianos. What a prima donna that girl is. I guess her other "clients" do whatever she asks and kiss her ass. Not Riki.

After I kicked Laura out, I noticed my friend's girl leaving his room. Apparantly, she got pissed at him because he would not pay her the 150 dollars she required. Man, I don't understand these girls. Especially with no bars open. Anyway, that's how our Saturday night ended. This morning, we decided to get the hell out of our hotel and out of Nuevo Laredo, vowing to not return for a long time.

I have said before that I have had some very bad vibes lately in El Centro. I get these premonitions that often come true. I have often thought, when sitting in the Blue Fox, what would happen if a couple of thugs walk in a shoot up the place. Sure, enough, it happened yesterday. Also heard that a girl was killed in front of La Montera last night. Whatever you do, do not come down to NL. It is the real deal. Extremely dangerous!

This is a woman that looks just like Janis Joplin. She told Laura that she is ok but that one of her new waiters was killed and a female (trying to get the lowdown on who the female was from Laura). Place is closed.

The only place left for my friend and I is Acuna. We will probably be heading up there this weekend. Adios Nuevo Laredo. A city that I have found special because of its great people and bars. But one that has been overrun and tortured by lowlife asshole criminals. And the government of Mexico can't and will never be able to stop it.

She confirmed that she closed Blue Fox, said she had few customers and now with the killings none. Downtown, Wednesday night / Thursday morning about 1:30am. 3 killed in the area of the Cascada bar. Shot from a moving vehicle while walking the in street. Two men and one woman, I have no idea of their identities. The shootings prompted the Laredo police and border patrol to close, temporarily, by blocking it with patrol cars, bridge 1. Thursday night about 10 pm, the only bar open was Emilianos, all others were closed.

Well, after several months of hitting Nuevo Laredo on a weekly basis from San Antonio, my friend and I changed direction this past weekend and headed over to Ciudad Acuna. We left Friday night and arrived about 9pm after waiting what seemed like a lifetime in a taxi waiting at the entrance checkpoint. One thing about Mexico, there is no semblance of organization when it comes to checkpoints. There were several workers sitting around just looking at us in the taxi, while other lanes were moving rapidly. Anyway, after 15 minutes, we were finally waved through. We went to a hotel called San Jorge, which is very old but ok. As is typical of cheap Mexican hotels, there was only a trickle of water pressure in the showers and of course no hot water. What do you expect for $30 a room. We shared a room. As I went to take a shower, there was a gigantic cucaracha above the sink. I mean I have never seen one this big. It must have been 4 inches long. I hit it with my shoe and it fell into the sink. I proceeded to pick it up and throw it in the trash, thinking it was dead.

So off we went to Hunter's Ranch. Got there at about 10pm. Much to our surprise, there were maybe 10 or 12 women in the place and most were pretty darn good looking. After a couple of beers we decided to see if the bar next door, Rio was open. Much to our amazement, it was. We walked in and there were a couple of good looking girls in there. We like this place because the Manager, Miguel is really cool and plays great country and other music. Also, the beers are only $2 each and mixed drinks only $4. This is compared to the ripoff prices of $4 and believe it or not $8 for a mixed drink at friggin Hunters. The drinks for women are a total ripoff of $8 each. We stayed at Rio for a couple of drinks and headed back to Hunters. A little flaquita bonita (using McKlipsch's vernacular) came over and hung out with me, while another cutie hung out with my friend. This girl I was with lives in Nuevo Laredo and says she attends Engineering college there during the week. I looked at her and had this feeling that I had seen her before. Sure enough, she told me she worked in Danash and remembers seeing me there. I mean this girl was hotter than all hell. She left Danash after it recently closed. She was a blast. She wouldn't leave me. We told here we were going back to Rio and she said she didn't want me to leave. As we were walking towards Rio, she told me she couldn't walk over the cobblestone street because her heels were too high. So I carried her across the street. We went to Rio and stayed there about 4 hours. Our two girls then came back with us to our run down hotel and spent the night. Great time!

My girl spent the entire night and we went out and had breakfast the next morning. She left back to her room at Hunters at about noon. My friend and I checked out of our dump hotel at about 4pm, after going across the border to get some money in Del Rio. We cam back and I got a haircut and then we went up and checked into a room at the bar Rio. These rooms are only $25 (helps to know Miguel) and they are totally clean, upscale and awesome. Right next to the bar. Anyway, we got separate rooms, took a nap and headed over to Hunters at about 9pm. I sit down for 5 minutes and my girl from the previous night comes over to hang out again. So we basically repeated what we did Friday night. Its pretty cool to have the hottest looking woman in the place to hang out with.

To summarize, we were pleasantly surprised by the number of quality woman in Acuna. The only downfall is that the damn owner of Hunter's is a total ripoff artist charging what he does for drinks. He is an idiot and doesn't realize that he could have a gold mine if he only adopted the pricing of the Montera for drinks. Your money goes quickly with his idiotic prices. So the trick is to go to Hunter's, make your selection and then head over to the bar Rio. All the girls can work between both places.

And back to that cucaracha. I woke up in the morning and there was a dead cucaracha right in between my girlfriend's and my head. I went into the bathroom and noticed that the cockroach I thought I killed and threw in the trash was gone. Therefore, I can only deduce that that damn thing came back to get me in the middle of the night and I must have killed it when I turned over. The problem is that I have a phobia against cockroaches. I'll never stay at that hotel again.

Hunters charges $30 for the room and the bar fee to take the girl is quoted at $100, although they will take $50 which is a total ripoff. The girls charge $100 there. The trick is to take them to Rio where you have your own room and it won't cost you anything or maybe $20. I paid $50 the first night from Hunters to downtown and nothing the second night at Rios. This girl's name is not Ivy. I remember your post about her. I think there were a couple from Danash there the other night. Come on down and we will meet you there. I paid $100 for todo la noche. I just checked Mapquest, the shortest route to from Corpus Christi to Del Rio is 274. 79 miles-estimated travel time 4 hours 31 minutes. I37 to Pleasanton, Tx 173 from Pleasanton to Hondo, US 90 from Hondo to Del Rio. My truck gets around 14 mpg on the highway, it chupars gas like a Mexicana Puta chupars pene / verga. I really don't want to drive that far for panocha. I will stick with Reynosa BT for now. It is a 152 mile drive to McAllen.

On another note, went to Hunter's in Acuna again last Friday and Saturday night. Had a great time hanging out with two absolute dolls (one used to work at Danash). We stay in one of the rooms in the bar Rio, which is right next door to Hunter's. It is 25 a night and is a great room. Probably heading back there this weekend. Some guy told me that the owner of Hunter's, Tino, would sell the place but is so loyal to his staff that he keeps the place open to keep them employed. I guess he is barely breaking even. He would have more business if he lowered his damn drink prices. $4 for a beer and $8 for a mixed drink. A total ripoff.

I remember the days when there were over fifty women at "El Papagayo" I had the most beautiful and sweet girl in my life at BT about three years ago. Last few times I've been to NL did not come back at night. I do speak the language but NL is too much for me nowadays. I should try Tijuana next time I'm by the border. I get my fix in Manila a few times a year, I like China to but no as cost effective.

I was planning on going to Nuevo Laredo Friday afternoon. The plan was to meet Laura (with the perfect rack) at Emilianos at 7pm. As I was driving down, Laura texted me and told me her bus from Monterrey was an hour late and that she would see me there at 8pm. I started asking myself on the way down if I really wanted to set foot in Laredo. Those bad vibes that I get that usually come true hit me hard. As a result, I decided to head down to Acuna instead. I got to thinking about how much of a cold hearted person Laura is. How she is practically devoid of any social skills including never asking how I am doing or even saying hi when we text and converse. That helped me make my decision as well. I didn't tell Laura that I wasn't coming down, which, as you can imagine resulted in a couple of texts from her laced with a variety of profanity. But after the way she has treated me, I got a kick out of standing her up.

Got down to Acuna at about 8pm and checked into a room at the Bar Rio. As I mentioned previously, the rooms are great and they are only $25 a night. I spent most of the night hanging out and dancing with Candy, who used to work at Danash in NLBT and is hot and funner than hell. Like an idiot, after drinking copious amounts of cerveza, Candy talked me into doing several tequila shots. The next thing I remember is that it was 5am and I was in the bed by myself having to vomit big time. I walked over to Hunter's to see if they had any coffee. Much to my amazement (it was around 9am) one of the workers just made a pot of coffee and gave me a big cupful. And also much to my amazement, they didn't charge me a dime. Remember, Hunter's is the biggest ripoff establishment on the frontera. $4 for a beer and $8 for a mixed drink. Just absolute ridiculous idiotic prices. As I am drinking my coffee, a girl walks over and sits by me. She told me I hung out with her for awhile the previous night. Nice cute little girl. I asked her if she would like to go downtown to get something to eat and she said she was hungry and would be happy to go with me. So we get downtown at a restaurant called Cazuelas and we both had some juevos rancheros. Pretty good food. We next went over to the Corona Club and had a couple of clamato preparados to help with the cruda. After that, we started walking downtown. We went into a couple of shops and shoe stores and like a fool, I bought her some shoes and a dress. $50 total. By this time she was holding my hand and kissing me like I was her boyfriend. Amazing what a little shopping will do for a woman. So as we are heading back to Hunter's she tells me that she would like to hang out downtown with me Saturday night. Go to Corona Club and a couple of discos. I said ok and we decided to meet at 7:30. Here is where it gets interesting. She comes from her room into the bar 40 minutes late but man did she look fabulous in that dress. Little body and nice rack! Wow. Before she came out, I was hanging out with a new gringo friend that I met. He and I were deciding if we wanted to go downtown and get a bottle to bring back into the room. We were thinking about partying in the room to save some money. So out comes the little flaquita bonita and I tell her how beautiful she looks! She proceeds to tell me it will cost $100 to take her out of the establishment. My friend and I looked at her and said "you got to be kidding?" What a ripoff. This is after I spent the previous night spending about $500 in this friggin rip off joint. I looked at her and told her there is no way I'm going to pay that. She basically got up and left. She didn't say another word to me the entire night! Then, to make matters worse, my friend and I asked several girls how much for todo la noche. Everyone of them said $300. I was sitting next to Esmeralda at this time. She is a little bit older with a beautiful rack. She started defending how much the girls charge. My friend and I were dumbfounded. None of these girls had any business as a result and they sat around all night. I really don't understand these women and this idiot that runs Hunters. I hung out with Candy again and had a great time and got the hell out of dodge this morning, vowing never to come back to Hunter's and give that money grabbing bastard and his girls another dime. Lessons learned gentlemen!

Stick to downtown acuna my man. Average I spend is about $50, including banging 2 broads. They arent 9s or 120s, but hell I just want to throw a nut.

I've been following your posts on the forum and enjoyed your descriptive write ups of your misadventures with you lady Laura and you travels throught the Mexcan landscape in search of hapiness. yes, joroke, my choices are running real thin. i have a new plan however. a couple of years ago, i was hanging out in my favorita cantina in nuevo laredo, which is called la mina. it is now closed. i was waiting for a girl that used to work in papaguayos and marthas by the name of lili. she is a beautiful girl from guatemala who also goes by the name of stacy. while i was waiting for lili, who of course was late, i ran into two women. i started talking to one of them. she was a nice looking woman arount 35 years old that was actually not a prostitute. she actually had a normal job in nl selling vacations and hotels. we started talking about her job and i was having a good time getting to know her. and then in walks lili, who has a beautiful rack. she was wearing a hooters guatemala tight fitting shirt and looked awesome! lili and i went up to danash and had a good time hanging out with some of her girlfriends that worked there.

right on, rikimichaels. that's the very next thing to do. you're right on with your new propsosed plan. a couple of year ago before the fall of nlbt, this buddy of mine and i would always go to papagayos and tamyko's. it was at tamyko's that we met two working girls that happen to be friends with eachother. my friend at the time hooked up with the working girl named jackie, a semi-tall black haired chick with big boobs. and i hooked up with her friend whoes artistic name was azelea, a somewhat short light complcted little cutie, not much of a rack but she had a back-end that wouldn't quit. anyway, after at least a year of meeting at tamyko's and patronizing the club the entire night, we talked the working girls into meeting outside of nlbt as if it were somewhat of a date, doing "regular" stuff such as dinner, clubing, dancing, drinking, so forth. we would take out a room at a local hotel, buy a bottle to take back to the room and at the end of a night out all four of us would make our way back to the hotel in individual rooms and continue having a good time drinking and f_ _ _ing. we did this for at least another two more years, until jackie moved back to her hometown in mexico which left my friend dry. to this day, i continued to do this with the same working girl, azalea, whom i have now known for 5-years. however, that's quickly coming to an end because of her fixated thirst for money. it seems you can only go so far with these working girls, until the next sucker comes around. anyway, you're plan is a good one. do it. it's good while it lasts. and as long as the chick cooperates. let me know what happens.

Went to Laredo for unrelated stuff. Got done Early Saturday night, went to NLBT, or what's left of it. When we got in, we saw the van guy and some truckers, but didn't stop to say anything. Doorways were gravely slim pickings. Alot of my familiar faces were non-existant.

Some guy at the very back Pool Hall between Danash and the Tranny Corner was toting a rifle shooting at cars driving too fast. He left us alone thank God.

Got bombarded left and right by Trannies walking the streets, didn't get physical, but they got in my face, and I got loud right back. Until one of the trannies ended up being a blessing in disguise. Yeah I said it.

One of the dudes dressed as a chick saw us three Gringos, and pulled us into the front bar, and ordered us to act casual, lose ourselves in the crowd and don't go outside until the coast is clear, and I listened to what he / she said next:

There was a band of Zebras in a White Ford Expedition racing 40MPH up and down the main street stopping to rob pedestrians at gunpoint.

Tranny dude told us to NOT draw attention to ourselves and either wait it out for the Zebras to leave, or wait for a chance to make a break for the car without drawing attention. I saw the White Expedition, and it was pretty depressing.

They were there for I swear 3 hours racing back and forth. And then finally they leave, and about an hour later, we left and right outside the BT entrance going both ways, the Mexican Army had roadblocks searching all cars, and they spent 10 whole minutes searching ours questioning my Spanish speaking compadres.

All in all, this was a night I wish not to repeat.

I also go up and down the street there to the other places, such as el venadito, and a couple others there. Yes it is possible, just it just depends on when they decide to go. Most of the 8s or 9s that do go only go once in a while because their husbands / bfs aren't there and they go out, to have fun and of course to make a little money.

There was one in tochos not too long ago they called her "la rokera' not because she liked to do that but because she was a metal head. Fine as hell; drank a few brews with her, but didn't end up doing anything.

Hell I'm thinking of either going in a few mins of tomorrow night for a while.

CenTexCrash, are you purchasing Mexican Auto Insurance at the border when you drive across into Mexico? Mexico does not recognize American Auto Insurance as Valid Insurance in Mexico. And the laws are different if you get into a wreck. An auto accident in Mexico is a criminal offense, unlike in the USA where an auto accident is a civil offense. If you get into an auto accident in Mexico without Mexican Auto Insurance & are found at fault for the accident by the Transito Police. If you don't have Mexican Auto Insurance, you will be required to pay for damages to the other vehicle on the spot at the accident scene. And if there are possible personal injuries to anyone in the other vehicle, you will have to pay money on the spot at the accident scene for the personal injuries. If you don't have the money, the Transito Police will throw you in Jail & impound your car. Driving in Mexico without Mexican Auto Insurance is like playing a dangerous game of Russian Roulette.

My buddy and I hit the road from San Antonio Saturday for Mexico. He lives in Castroville and we had initially planned to head to NL for the La Montera opener. I had received several texts from my various girlfriends in NL. Names I have dropped in frustration before. Chief amongst them the infamous Laura, Cecelia (Laura's friend) , Yandel and the only sweetheart amongst them all. Letty. As a refresher, here are my experiences with each:

Laura: Most beautiful rack in Tamaulipas. Wears a tight fitting blouse magnificiently. Favorite hangouts are La Montera and La Herradura with an occasional Emilianos. Laura is the one that has no heart and soul. Never says hello or thank you. She is great in conversation. Took her to my room the first time and she accused me of biting her nipple (which I swear I did not). I summarily kicked her out of the room due to her poor attitude. Made a date with her two Fridays ago in Emilianos and stood her up (best thing I've ever done). Laura is probably 38 years old.

Cecelia: Laura's friend. Short blond hair. Real cute but has a partial silver filling in front tooth that kind of looks odd. She and Laura always come to Montera together on time at 9:15pm every Friday and Saturday. Cecelia is sweet until she gets drunk. We went out drinking together one Friday evening at the Blue Fox, etc. She wanted to come to my hotel overnight and I told her I am sharing a room with my friend. Which I usually don't do. We were in the lobby of the Fiesta and she started cussing me out and flipping me off. I told her to come up to the room anyway and she refused. She made such a commotion in the lobby that the night attendant literally threw her out. She didn't talk to me for weeks after that. She and Laura had a falling out recently. They were roomates and Laura kicked her out due to her bouts of drunken idiocy. Well they both talked very bad about each other for weeks but are now best friends. Cecelia is really cool and friendly when not drunk. She never hustles for money like Laura. Laura is all about business and has no sense of social skills. Cecilia is probably 27 years old.

Letty: Best girl I've ever met in Nuevo Laredo. About 25 years old. Perfect body and really cute and sexy. This girl is the funnest and sweetest woman I have ever met. Easy going and will spend all weekend with me without asking for a dime. Of course, I give her money and am happy to because of her wonderful attitute. I haven't seen her for months as she went home to Veracruz but is not back in Nuevo Laredo. I was going to see her Friday but she got real sick with the grippa.

Fabiola: The only non-working woman of the above women. Met her 3 years ago at La Mina (my fav bar downtown now closed). She is about 36 and very pretty. We have hung out a few times at restaurants and bars. She loves just chilling and listening to music. Last time we went out she attached me in her Explorer but could not go to a hotel because she has kids at home. She is a fabulous dancer. Tango, salsa, etc. I would love to see her again. She is the cheapest date of all as she already has a job. Fun, fun girl.

Yandel: Yandel is very attractive. She has the most beautiful black hair I have ever seen, not to mention a beautiful face. Overall body isn't bad. I think she is about 37. Yandel used to go by the name of Saret and she used to work for many years in NLBT at Papaguayos. Every time I used to walk in that place I thought she was hotter than hell. Yandel is a lot of fun to hang out with. She doesn't drink too much and always just likes to chill and enjoy a good time. I had one really bad episode with her that I previously posted about. She and I stayed at the Fiesta one Friday night. I left my bag in the room with all my clothes, toiletries, etc. I told her I wanted to meet my friend Chente that lives in NL. I went to visit Chente and came back to the hotel at around 5pm. I noticed my bag and Yandel were both gone. I got frantic and texted Yandel. Yandel told me to meet her in the plaza for my bag. When I got to the plaza, she had my bag inside a taxi and demanded $200 to go back home to Tampico. I refused to give her the money and she got in the taxi and started taking off. I was literally chasing the taxi on foot. It finally stopped and I had to pay a ransom of $150 to get my bag back that was being held hostage. Pissed me off and I didn't see Yandel for several weeks after that. We finally hooked up a couple of months after and she apologized to me. Since then, we have hung out a few times and had a great time. She refuses to go into La Montera because it is down in the basement and she is claustrophobic.

So my friend and I headed down for Acuna Saturday. We got in at around 730pm and once again stayed in the Rio bar (next door to Hunters). We stayed in separate rooms there that ar 25 a night and great. Our plan was to shower and head for downtown to some of the bars to avoid having to pay the exorbitant Hunter's drink prices. Well, so much for our plans. We showered and had a couple of drinks at bar Rio (drinks are cheap here but there are no women in the place). We decided to head over to Hunter's because I wanted to tell my little hottie Candy (who texted me all week to come down) that we were headed downtown and that she was welcome to go. Well when we got in the place, there was a new beautiful looking girl from Baja California Ensenada sitting there. I mean she was hotter than hell with a little fishnet outfit on revealing some major cleavage. She must have been 25. We hung out with her drinking and dancing, while ignoring some other outstandingly hot women. Never made it downtown. Candy, who is strikingly sexy was waiting for me and I never even talked to her. I apologized to her the next day and she told me not to worry that we will meet this weekend. Anyway, that's about it. Think we may go to NL and I will hook up with either Letty or Fabiola.

The Fabiola I'm referring to is medium height and has dark brown / reddish hair. On another note, how are things going down there. My friend Chente, who lives down there told me about a new club called Caritos. Do you know anything about this place. He also rambled on the other night about how the Federal Government is going to change things in NL. He was drunk and I'm not sure what he meant.

My friend was down two weeks ago and when he walked out of Emilianos someone in a big SUV was yelling his name. As it turned out, it was the duena from Blue Fox. She told him to jump in the car and gave him a ride down to NLBT to her other club, the Shamrock. He told me many of the girls from the Blue Fox are working there and that it was allright.

He said he heard no gunshots nor saw any robberies or anything to that effect in NLBT.

My friend and I decided we would give NL another chance. It had been a couple of months that we had been down there. The last time we were there, two people were shot dead in one of our favorite hangouts. The Blue Fox. Which subsequently closed. Also, the last night we were there, after those shootings, all bars rapidly closed and people were scrambling to get off the streets. Like the bad dudes were coming into shoot up the town. The weeks following saw several killings with several of them downtown as well.

We got into town around 4pm and began walking to our favorite hotel. El Meson Del Rey. This hotel is about 3 blocks past Hidalgo, where La Montera is. It is across the street from the plaza. The first thing we noticed was that our favorite little Chinese restaurant was closed. The next thing we noticed was that there were a lot of people on the streets. The fear that we had previously seen the last time we were down there was gone. That was definitely a good sign. I forgot to mention that one of the reasons we went down was that we had heard that La Montera opened up a week ago and we wanted to check it out. We checked into our hotel and took a nap until about 730pm. I had called one of my sweethearts that I had met at La Montera but hadn't seen for 3 months. Her name is Letty. She is 22 and is a sweetheart. Always has a great time and never complains at all. She is very attractive and sexy looking. We were to meet at Emilianos at 8pm.

My friend was in the shower and I told him I was heading down to Emilianos. I got there around 750 and had a few beers waiting for Letty to arrive. Prior to Letty showing up, good ole Yandel walked into Emialianos. Yandel is another friend of mine down there who is about 38 and very good looking. She and I have hung out down there before. We had a couple of tiffs before but usually had a good time. Yandel had texted me all weekend to come down and see her but I wanted to see Letty. Anyway, Yandel proceeds to sit down next to me thinking I was there for her. I told her that I was waiting for Letty. She suddenly got pissed as hell and shouted at me to never text her or call her again. As she stormed over to another seat across the way. Five minutes later, Letty showed up. She had a sexy low cut top, some short jean shorts and a pair of high heeled shoes. She looked great. We proceeded to have a couple of drinks and notice Laura and Cecelia show up. Laura, as I have mentioned in previous texts, has a huge, beautiful fake rack. She and I have gotten in some major battles because I told her she has no social skills and in short is a total *****. She is the one that I kicked out of my hotel room before because she claims I bit her nipple. Which I did not. She was simply trying to screw me over by getting money and leaving as quick as she could. Anyway, Laura proceeds to go sit over next to Yandel. I'm sure they had some choice words for me. The bottom line with those girls is that they don't realize that they will not get any repeat business when they treat their clients like crap. As we were sitting there, a gringo that lives down there came over and sat with us to have a beer. Funny thing is that he told me he also had Laura in his house the previous week. He told me five minutes into their session that Laura told him to hurry up to get the deed done as she was short on time. This kind of thing really infuriates me with these women like Laura that think they are the greatest women in the world.

I was glad to be with Letty and to have those biotches see me with her. Letty was having a good time and kissing me periodically. My friend finally came over and we headed over to La Montera. We were interested to see what the scene would look like there. Once walking in, we noticed that there were fewer people than usual for a Saturday night. Same live band was playing. We noticed it looked like they painted the place. Anyway, Letty and I danced several times. We noticed Laura and Cecelia walked in. The interesting thing is that neither of them could even say hello to us. This is after we bought them several drinks and stuff and hung out with them before. A couple of ungrateful you know whats! Laura was sitting with some young dude and talked to him for about an hour. Apparantly he didn't have enough cash as I saw Laura leave. Cecelia was out dancing with some dude that looked 80.

After several dances and drinks, we headed down to La Rhumba, which didn't have anything going on. We then proceeded over to Horseshoe and noticed it was closed. The bar across the street, Jorokes, was open but nobody in there. By this time, my friend wanted to go down to NLBT. I didn't as Letty was getting cold. Letty and I headed for the hotel and my friend headed for NLBT. He told me he had a good time at Shamrock and had a nice door girl. The Shamrock is owned by the ex duena of the Blue Fox. My friend told me there were quite a few girls in the Shamrock and that the duena told him she was going to recruit a lot of girls to work there. She gave my friend a ride back to our hotel at ab out 3am.

I had a great night staying with Letty, who I now realize is one of a kind. She is beautiful, alway cheerful and has a good time, never hustles me for a dime, has wonderful social skills and really likes me. I can't think of very many women that can come remotely close to this. I love that girl. In summary, I think NL is making a little comback. People seem to be happier down there now and I hope this trend continues. I would recommend going down there now. Fun time.

thanks, chris, i'd gone back 15 pages, yours was 17 back and maybe this will bring it to the front. thank you for some specificity about locations and pricing. i haven't been to nl in decades, when the trade was at boystown and downtown was where **** drinkers took their dates. papgayos in the olden days had a genuine floor show, with singers, chorus-girl outfits and even comics in pinky lee suits doing routines in spanish. thank you again.

had the opportunity to drive down to nuevo laredo this weekend with funman13 and the doctor. funman13 is a nuevo laredo vet and this trip would not have been possible without him. i would also like to thank bbond and the nuevo laredo crew for the help and assistance they gave us, they really went out of their way to help out. this trip would not have been anywhere near as successful if it had not been for there assistance.

i can't really describe nuevo laredo as a monger destination, it is a border town that has some working girls in it. the old boys town seems to be quit dead, we never made it to boys town with the bombing on saturday night and from what bbond told us even before the firebombing of danash it was just a shell of its former self. i would imagine with the main bar being bombed boys town will completely dry up.

down town is where the action seems to be. the down town section is actually quite easy to get to from the boarder. once you cross the border you go about three or four or maybe five blocks up on the main street gurraro (sp?) along the way you will pass many money exchanges as well as pharmacies. i believe all of the pharmacies will sell viagra, cialis and lavitra for anywhere from $14 to $20 a pill. there are also numerous shops and street carts with people selling all kinds products. there are a lot of hucksters trying get you into the pharmacies to buy something so they can get a cut. you don't need these guys and can just enter any pharmacy and buy whatever you need without their assistance.

the p4p action is centered in three bars called the montero (sp?) the huradura / horse shoe and the intimo (sp?) of these the montero is the main bar. they are all on the same street running east to west gurraro runs north to south, once you cross the border on gurraro you go up three or four blocks until you get to the street where the bars are (i can't remember its name) , montero will be the first one you see, it will be on your right, the other two are on the same east west street, east of montero. i want to stress that these are local bars that cater mainly to local mexican clientele; these are not monger bars like you may be used to. you won't find any or at least very few international or national mongers there, most non mexican mongers will be american nationals who live in nuevo laredo or who live directly across the border or south texas and you will find very few of them. these bars can be quit ruff looking in appearance if you are not used to local mexican bars. the bathrooms in these places are a real bio hazard. there's a [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) trough with [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) and god knows what else floating around in there and the floor is covered with anywhere from one to two inches of [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) water. from my observation the ratio in these bars no matter what time of day or night was always 3 to 6 men for every women, this in my opinion can have serious implications when it comes to finding a chica for a little action.

of these three bars montero is the main bar, if there is any bar that remotely resembles a main monger watering hole this would be it, but i want to stress again this is a local bar that caters mainly to mexican nationals. the other two bars were always dead especially the huradura / horse shoe and really only start to fill up after the montero closes. women in these bars are given a ticket each time they get you to buy them a ladies drink, so there is a big push by the chicas to get you to buy them a drink so they can get a cut in the price of the drink. i believe drinks in these bars are around one to two dollars for you and two to three dollars for a ladies drink. the women in these places, in my opinion, were in the 5 to 6 to 7 range with a few 8 mixed in. during the middle of the day these bars could get real slow and the quality of women would drop in my opinion to 2 and 3 with a couple of possible 7.

i personally had a very hard time picking up women in these bars, for every girl i did eventually get two or three would turn me down, though the doctor and funman13 had no problem picking up girls. these bars are not working girl house type of bar / casino / strip joints like you may find in san jose or tijuana, but regular local bars with simi pros who may need a little extra money now and then. because of this, the girls are a little pickier on who they decide to go with. it seemed to be very cliquish and the girls wanted to go with people they knew, and like picking up women in any bar she had to be somewhat attracted to you and you had to have some game. i also think the male to female ratio being so much in their favor gave them the upper hand on deciding who they will go with. if it was not for the assistance of funman13, bbond and some of the other nuevo laredo mongers i might not have gotten laid at all.

the hotel we stayed at was the hotel fiesta. i was quite pleased with this place for what we were paying, its 410 pesos a night or 32 usa, clean comfortable rooms, air-conditioning, tv with some english channels or at least some english programs the only problem was no wifi and i did not see an internet café anywhere in the down town area. the hotel is one block further south on gurarro from the street where the bars are and one block over to the left, this made the hotel location very convenient for visiting the bars and bringing girls back. the guy who works the desk over night speaks perfect english and even knows girls he can call to come over if you need one.

across the street from the hotel fiesta is the blue fox, another bar / clip joint. drinks are a little more expensive here, from what i was told they are 2 to 3 bucks for you and 6 for the girl. every time we took a look at the place it was completely dead, no one was there but us, all of the girls in my opinion were in the 5 to 6 to 7 range with one or two possible 8. the girls all seem to hang outside the club by the front door since there is no one in the club. the doctor and i went over one night with the intention of trying out their girls, the doctor got one for $50 usa plus a $20 exit fee to get her to leave the club and come to his room. i talked with one who wanted 700 pesos for the half hour but did not want to come to my room and was apparently trying to tell me they had rooms on site and wanted to use one of them. i took a pass and left. came back later that night around 2 in the morning and talked with another girl who was willing to come to my room for the hour for 300 pesos promised to let me go down on her and give a bbbj but once in the room refused to let me go down on her and wanted a tip for bbbj. in any other monger destination i would of kicked her out and got another girl, but, in nuevo laredo there are not a lot of options especially late at night.

the opportunities for p4p are somewhat limited, i want to stress again this is not a monger location or destination but a regular mexican town that has some semi pros that can be available when they are despite enough for money or there is some chemistry between you and them. i found the day time action to be almost none existent, the bars are real slow with very few women in them and the ones that are there aren't worth taking, with a few exceptions. there are a few women in the street that you can pick up, these are mainly women who are walking from one bar to the next or just walking in that general area for other purposes, but i want to stress there is not a great deal of them, they can be very few in number, the weekends seem better than the week days and the evenings are better than the middle of the day which can be quit dead, things start to slow down after 2 am and your opportunities for p4p really start to dwindle after that time. the bars fill up on the weekend and there are more girls who seem available on the street, but again the guy to girl ratio is definitely in their favor with there being at a minimum 6 guys for every girl, from my observation.

when i was able to score a girl i found many of them to be gfe with lots of passionate french kissing cuddling bbbj and hard core sex and one even went anal, with many of them the sessions were all natural. however the problem, for me at least was scoring a girl. because of the cliquish nature of the monger scene in nuevo laredo i found the assistance of funman13, bbond and the other nuevo laredo crew to be essential. i felt many of the girls were doing it as a personal favor to them rather than any desire to be with me. prices for a session are a standard 400 pesos if you really like a girl or she did something special you can tip her an extra 100 peso. all girls stayed as long as i wanted never had any rush me or leave before i was finished, but i never tried to get them to stay for hours, did my thing and let them go.

pesos are the way to go in nuevo laredo and i paid for everything with pesos, most places and girls still use the old 10 to 1 conversion so you get a much better deal when using pesos. there are food carts on the street where you can buy burritos or enchiladas for the equivalent of a couple bucks and there are plenty of whole in the wall restaurants in the area, i even noticed a churches chicken and a burger king. median prices for a meal are the equivalent of five bucks with some meals being a couple bucks less some being a couple bucks more. there is an oxo convenient store one block further south on gurerro from the street where the bars are that is open 24 hours. i felt relatively safe the whole time i was there, at night i stayed on the street where the bars are or the little block that circled the hotel and the oxo convent store. the mexican military would drive around in their military vehicles but i was never stopped by them and i never seen them stopping or bothering any one and i personally felt better knowing they were there. my spanish is extremely limited and almost none existent, i found that 90 to 95% of the girls spoke even less english than i spoke spanish. but i never found the language to be a barrier in any of my transactions either p4p or regular as there were enough locals who knew enough english to help.

final thoughts.

nuevo laredo is not a monger destination in the true since of the word, but a regular mexican town that has some semi pros available. boys town seems to be a thing of the past and will probably evaporate in the near future. the assistance of bbond and the nuevo laredo crew is essential for a first timer and nuevo laredo really cannot be done by a first time novice with out there help. the girls are semi pros for the most part and it will take a little game and appeal as well as connections in order to get them. it's relatively safe and very inexpensive.

would i return?

as the doctor said if you live in south texas it's not a bad place to hold you over until you can take another monger vacation to a real monger location. i probably will return as it seems the type of place where once you get in the clique and the girls get to know you many gfe possibilities could open up.

Went down to Acuna Friday afternoon. Got there about 6:30pm. Headed over to the Corona Club and had a couple of Coronas at $1. 50 each. Next, headed over to Tochos, which is a locals dive bar on the corner over by the Hotel San Antonio. Tochos had the usual scene going on. Muchas gorditas and cheap beers ($1. 00 each). They play banda and ranchera music most of the time and the restrooms smell like hell. Similar to El Intimos in Nuevo Laredo. Anyway, we stayed about an hour and decided to head up to the zona where Rios and Hunters are located.

Once we arrived by Taxi ($5. 00) from downtown, we parked in front of Club Rio. This is where my friend and I usually stay. Rooms are $25 each are are pretty good. We immediately noticed the Manager, Miguel standing out in front of the establishment. As we got out, Miguel proceeded to inform us that except for the little patio area in front, the remainder of the place caught on fire the Sunday before Thanksgiving. You should have seen it. This place was huge with many rooms and all burned to the ground. My friend's girlfriend was sitting in the patio are out front with the only other working girl there. Miguel had a couple of tables in the patio area and was serving beers out of an ice chest. We were extremely saddened for Miguel. He is the most friendly host and had been for years, and now his establishment was burned to the ground except for the front patio area. And he was still out there smiling and trying to make a buck. To make a long story short, my friend and I deduced that someone wanted Miguel out of business and that it was no accident. And we further deduced that this was nothing but foul play. Probably someone from Hunters wanting him the hell out of there. Very sad.

With our rooms in Rio burned down, Miguel walked us over to Hunters to see if rooms were available. Miguel inquired of the guy working at the cash register. This SOB acted like Miguel was bothering him and had a waiter handle the request. The waiter, who is a long time friend told us to come back and gave us both two outstanding looking rooms for $25 each thanks to Miguel. We found out that the SOB who treated Miguel like crap is the owner's brother. A total piece of crap.

So we get our rooms at Hunters and head out to the bar. The place was pretty slow for a Friday but the girls working were all beautiful as usual. I was approached by my little cutie named Candy (this girl is downright beautiful). We hung out for about two hours, drinking cervezas and dancing. This is the little doll that a week before hung out with me. After she danced onstage, she came over to me, completely naked and stradded me on my chair. She is a fun and happy girl and always has a good time. She is going to college in Acuna to receive an engineering degree and funds it by working at Hunters 6 nights a week. She is so nice looking that she usually hooks up with guys when we are there. For some reason though, she loves hanging out with me in between and having fun. Well, my friend wanted to go back downtown to Tochos and a disco called Laberintos. So off we went. Got into Tochos about 10:30pm and had a couple of $1 beers. This is a hit or miss bar. Full of gorditas but you may find the occasional attractive woman once in a while. As we were sitting there listening to that horrible banda music, I noticed a tall, stunning looking woman sitting close by with another girl. My friend challenged me to go over and introduce myself and that he would give me $5 if I had the juevos to do so. I was like, no problema dude. I went over, introduced myself and we started chatting. The next thing I knew, we were dancing by the bar and she grabbed and held my hand. Of course my friend was amazed. After about an hour, we wanted to go over to Corona Club. I asked her if she wanted to go and she said ok. As we were heading outside to leave, somebody shouted at her. They were in a car and she went over and started talking. She told me to hang on that she would be right with me. Well, five minutes after waiting, I got pissed and said screw it, I'm going to Corona. We headed over to Corona and there was nothing happening so we headed back up to Hunters. By this time it was about 2am and most of the girls were gone. We hit the sack for a better day.

The next morning, we headed back to Del Rio for some breakfast. There is a Shell station that serves phenomenal Mexican food heading into Del Rio from the border. We had breakfast and pondered what we were going to do. My friend told me that he didn't want to give Hunters any more business as their prices are outrageous and due to what he thought was foul play on their part with Rio. So, we decided to head over to Nuevo Laredo.

We got into NL at about 3:30pm and went over to the Montera to check it out. There were few in the bar. We ran into my trucker gringo friend and chatted in the bar for awhile. We then went over to our favorite hotel. El Meson Del Rey (this place has gotten some bad rap before but it is the best place). We checked in and took a nap, with plans to head back to La Montera at about 7pm. I showered and headed over to La Montera. There wasn't a lot going on down there. The usual street rats collecting their beer tokens. I hung out with a little girl that has worked in La Montera for a few years. Good looking litle girl. I saw my trucker friend sitting with a cute little girl and my girl and I went over and hung out with them for awhile. About an hour later, my friend showed up. He and I were getting bored and decided to head over to NLBT. This was about 10:30pm. I was thinking how nice it would be to see my girl Letty. This is the doll that I reported about last time. She is 24, beautiful, and is the funnest girl in the world to hang out with. She has never once hustled me for a dime or even complained. We regularly text each other. My friend suggested that we head over to Emilianos first and she may have been waiting for me there. Much to my surprise, as we were walking from Monter to Emilianos, we run into Letty walking over to Montera looking for me. Man was I excited. She had on a sexy dress and looked hotter than all hell. We hugged and all decided to head over to NLBT.

We headed up to NLBT in a taxi (we had to wait about 20 minutes as taxis are short on supply after 10pm). As we were about to turn left into the compound, I noticed a big letter Z paited on the brick wall at the entrance. I thought to myself, oh boy, this should be interesting. We headed up to the bar Shamrock as the previous owner of the Blue Fox also owns this bar. She had been texting us to come to her bar Shamrock. We really like her as she treats us great and plays American music all the time for us. So we head into her bar and she greets us with open arms. We hung out for a few hours. The place was pretty slow. My friend did his business with one of the many door girls outside. The owner gave us a ride back to the centro at about 2am. We headed over to Jorrochos. As we got in the place, we noticed several people coming in from La Montera as it had just closed. A lot of people came to the place as La Herradura and Intimo are closed. I notice good ole Laura (the girl with the beautiful rack that I have previously posted about in terms of her lack of social skills and inability to understand that treating men right might get her some repeat business) walked in with cute friend Cece (blond hair cutie). Letty and I danced and had a good time. I noticed Laura with some fuggly dude, sitting with him for about an hour. Apparrently he had no money to cover Laura's costs as she got up and came back to sit with her friend. This past week, Laura had texted me out of the blue. Her message said that she would be happy to see me in my room for todo la noche. I never replied to her. As Letty and I headed out of Jorrochos, we walked right past Laura outside and I didn't even look at her. Letty and I headed back to our hotel where we proceeded to have a wonderful night together. I totally love this girl.

I am starting to feel bad for Laura as I think she has gotten to the point where her act of being a * with clients and rushing them has turned them off where they don't want any part of her anymore. As a result, she has exhausted her client base and has no repeat business. She is getting up in age and her window of opportunity is closing. It is sad to see her looking unhappy all the time. But, this is her own fault. Oh well, it's Mexico. What can I say?
