An option to mark favourite posts in threads will be a great feature that I feel this site greatly misses, not to mention HTTPS. Don't understand why there is still no HTTPS support. Many times I see great posts in threads that I want to comeback to later on when I plan a trip, etc. But it is such a pain in the a** to find old posts after a while.

It's easy (and free) to get HTTPS via certbot (https://certbot.eff.org/). The folks running the site would need to re-work the server to operate on port 443 (the go to HTTPS port), but that's fairly easy to accomplish.
