Mexicali is across the border from Calexico CA, which is just west of Yuma AZ. The place is a lot nicer than Nogales, Mexico, with a town center and a very big mall, wide streets and little traffice, except for the main drag, Lopez Mateos.

There is a large influx of Chinese restaurants and businesses in the area and it is an agricultural center.

I'm planning a visit to Mexicali in connection with a trip to San Diego. My aim is a higher level of GFE than I've been able to find in TJ. TJ can be fine but from the various posts on Mexicali, it appears that getting a real GFE with BBBJ, DFK and the like is possible (a) if you check out a high-end club; (b) are willing to pay more than the going rate in TJ; and (c) take the girl to a nearby hotel.

Well, I'm willing to pay for top-drawer talent. I was thinking of concentrating my efforts on Guau-Guau, Miau-Miau, and Aquarius. If there are other places I should check out, a word to the wise would be grateful. I understand that the best experiences are when you take the girls out to a nearby hotel, like to the Hotel Reforma from Miau-Miau.

Finally, my choice of days to visit is limited. I was planning to visit Mexicali on a Sunday night. Is that a dead night? I could plan my trip to leave a day earlier and visit Mexicali on Thursday night. It would raise some complications but if Thursdays are markedly better than Sundays, then perhaps the complications would be worth it.

Any help along these lines would be appreciated! Naturally, I will post a report of my trip when I return.

You can get to mexicali from I 8 from either direction east or west ,you could also take the Hwy. 98 junction off of I 8. Both of these will get you to Hwy. 111 in which hwy. 111 will take you right into mexicali. BTW ther are two hwy. 98 junctions one coming from the east and one from the west.

the latest. friday night was relatively cool and i arrived late, around 11 p.m. and that is late for me. started at gallo giro for the cheap beer. the women were out in numbers. all types big and small. i am constantly amazed at the quality of women available for the street price of $20 u.s. and a couple of beers with a little dancing.

dancing helps. ask the girl to dance (bailar) then offer a beer (cerveza). that is the extent of spanish you need. mexican women love to dance be it fast or slow. the locals seem to have "roman hands" while dancing and i never do that out of respect.

saturday night. real good. my game plan is to start out slowly and work up. by this i mean i get tanked up at the cheap (bum) bars then either go high end or to bsd. bsd is the fall back position.

saw some new faces saturday night including some real good looking women. mexicali is not tj and bsd is not adelita's. yet there are diamonds in the rough in mexicali if one takes a little time and the price is certainly right. i just sat in the bar taking a table as my cp (so i could see the action), drank beer until a good choice came in. the woman do the bar hopping so one strategy is just to sit and drink, let the women do the work. again, some really attractive women looking for a little money. i saw two or more new faces i want to do and i have done my share.

weather. for august this weekend was quite pleasant with temperatures under 100 degrees with little humidity. i drove from san and saw a number of rvs on i-8 going east i.e. people are traveling to the (colorado) river or going to phoenix.

directions and location. mexicali is 1.8 hours from san diego and 4+ hours from phoenix. i know many travelers and road warriors who "stop over" from a trip on i-8 from san to phoenix or vice versa. there are two entry points into mexico, port of entry (poe) one in calexico (clx) and the newer port east clx. new east port closes at 10 p.m. get a map or follow the signs to clx. most take hwy 111 for i-8, i like to use hwy 98. rookies should use the main poe. stick with a simple plan until you get your cherry busted in mexicali then develop more advanced planning. it is safe to drive in mexicali get insurance if you are paranoid. i park my car there all the time and never had any thefts, etc.

bsd is a good start for the beginner. cross clx poe and follow the aeropuerto sign (bear to the left after crossing). go about 3.5 miles and turn right on rio culican. if you forget to reset the odometer rio culiacan is about 2 miles from justo sierra a major cross street. turn right and bsd is about 1/2 mile on the right.

zone. cross clx poe and bear right following signs. turn right after 4 blocks turn right and park.

december. i agree with previous posts that things do slow down in december. however, after thanksgiving sometimes things speed up. i firmly believe that some mexican hotties come down from san diego or the la area and work in tj for christmas money. i love tj in early december.

mexicali does not change and december is good. some of the workers at bsd are from out of town and they go home for 3-4 weeks for christmas with a shorter break for easter. other than that things still jump. the weather is pleasant during the day, it can get cold late at night but that is the reason to find a hottie to bring comfort. the girls need the money so keep the economy going.

I queried the Board a week ago about a trip to Mexicali but to no effect, so I guess I'll try again. I'm planning a trip to Mexicali a week from tonight, or Sunday, August 29. I've read all the posts and have a pretty good idea of the lay of the land but want to double-check my thinking against people with lots of Mexicali experience. I have none, I should add.

I'm planning to do the high-end clubs. My goal is a GFE experience, including BBBJ and DFK, should I be so lucky. I'm sort of picky but my scan of the reports on Mexicali suggests that it's possible to find an 8 to 10 girl in the top-peso places, at least. I understand the cost will be higher than in TJ but the return might be higher as well.

My plan is to drive to Calexico, park, and walk across the border. Then, I will take a cab. My itinerary is to try Aquarius, Guau-Guau, and Miau-Miau, in that order. Does that make logistical sense? Geographic sense? My hope is to find an eager beauty whom I could take to a nearby hotel for an hour or longer date, though I understand that Guau-Guau provides rooms on the premises. If I don't find want I'm looking for in those three places, I could always head for the SDB and hope for the best. Any advice from the group plus any additional clubs I should be considering for my purposes will be much appreciated.

I have a few nuts and bolts questions. How much should cab fare run between these places? Given that I'm heading for Mexicali on a Sunday night, what time should I plan to cross the border in order to give myself enough time to make the rounds? All advice and comments will be richly appreciated, and – needless to say – I will report to the group in detail upon my return from my Mexicali jaunt.

If you are looking for the high end stuff, I would start with Madonna's and then go to Meow Meow. Meow Meow is right next door to Madonna's and both of them are a whole lot closer to the border crossing than Aquarius or Giau Giau (pronounced Wow Wow). And they are both right really close to Hotel Reforma if you should hit a home run and have one of the lovely ladies leave the club with you.

If you strike out at Madonna's or Meow Meow, then take a taxi to Aquarius, Giau Giau or Bar San Diego. Another spot to try is El Establo (The Stable). I live here in Mexicali every other week and live in the Inland Empire every other week (yes I used to frequent JS in Bloomington before all the reports turned the front door into a revolving door).

I can't tell you about cab fares because I have never used a taxi in Mexicali. I have never had anybody bother my car at anytime here in Mexicali. On a Sunday night, you might want to start about 7:00 or 8:00. If you try any earlier, the selection will not be real good. Bar San Diego closes relatively early and the rest of the clubs and bars close at 3:00 AM. Some stay open till 4:00 but not on Sunday night.

I like Bar San Diego when I am in a relaxed mood and don't have a lot of money with me. The music is not loud there and the girls don't make any money on drinks, so they don't hastle you. At Bar San Diego, you either have to approach the girl or have Castillo (the waiter) ask her for you. Occasionally, a girl will approach you, but my experience has been that the ones that approach you usually don't give very good service. If you are looking for BBBJ and DFK, Alicia at Bar San Diego gives the best blow job in the world. Another great thing about Bar San Diego is that I have never had anybody knock at the door after 30 minutes. One time I was in the room with the girl for over an hour with no hastle.

El Establo is another bar that is like Bar San Diego in that it is attached to the motel that you use with the chicas. The girls at El Establo do make money by you buying them drinks, but most of them don't approach you. Lately, the girls at El Establo have been better looking than the girls at Bar San Diego. At El Establo, you don't even have to talk to the girl first (I would not advise this). If you see a girl you want, ask the waiter for her name, then go to the receptionist at the motel and tell her the name and pay 700 pesos (about 66 dollars). The receptionist will call the bar and the girl will come to you. My advice is to talk to the girl first. Maybe buy her a couple of drinks. If she is fun in the bar, then she will be fun in the room. At El Establo you never pay the girl. You always pay the receptionist at the motel and it is always 700 pesos. Another great feature of El Establo is that after all the bars and clubs in Mexicali are closed you can go to the motel part of El Establo and the girls are there waiting for you. It is an all night venue. So if you strike out everywhere else and the bars are all closed you can still score at El Establo. Give "Camila" a try at El Establo. She always gives me great service. Also, the service at El Establo is for 40 minutes instead of the standard 30 minutes. And at the end of 40 minutes the telephone in the room does ring and they tell the girl that the time is up.

As far as the high end clubs go, Madonna's is my favorite and Meow Meow is my second choice. But these places have a way of separating me from my money really fast. Madonna's has a couple of private rooms in the back that can be used for FS, but most of the girls want $100 to $150 for 15 minutes. It is better to negotiate for an hour outside the club. Many times I have had BBBJ and CBJ in the private dance area of Meow Meow for $25 to $50 over the price of the private dance.

I have an advantage because I live here in Mexicali half of the time. I get to know the girl by chatting with her for many nights before I go for the main event with her. It is almost like dating and I really have a good idea how she will be before I end up going to the hotel with her.

I will post another report on more clubs and bars in Mexicali during this week (I just arrived her tonight and its time to go visit some of my favorite "girl friends".

Good game plan. I would consider driving in lieu of cab. Be prepared to pay for the high end clubs. These girls work the circuit i.e. go from el paso. PV, guadalajara and TJ. They are pros and GFE is unlikely.

1) Park or drive. Until I got my Mexican liability insurance last month I used to park in Calexico. Point of interest is that within a 5 or 6 block radius of the POE the streets are well signed "No Parking from 0200 to 0430 for street sweeping". I drive now and, with insurance, would not do Mexicali any other way. Not only is it a large, sprawling city but it has more than 1 or 2 zones of tolerance. Zona Centro, BSD, Justo Sierra, Calle Juarez, and The FIXX are literally miles apart. But I don't drink when I'm punting so if you drink and party then a cab has its merits. IMHO unless you are fluent or are a known regular you will be charged the gringo rate, period.

2)GFE. Apparently our definitions of Girl Friend Experience are different. The hour in a hotel room you should be able to get just about anywhere (except from the hotel girls in the Zona Centro where no matter what you agree to it's going to be 20 minutes). If you have specific acts you want, then you probably need to talk about them and any additional compensation ahead of time. For me, GFE pretty much requires Toda La Noche.

3)Domingo o Jueves. Friday and Saturday nights have the most happening. The influx of weekenders brings out the local amatuers, semi-pros, and retirees. The pros don't know or care if its Sunday or Thursday. The travelling pros don't have anywhere else to be.

4) Wow-Wow and Meow-Meow are showclubs. I do basically what you are asking with 6's and 7's from the more 'salt-of-the-earth' places. If you need 8's to 10's, and you seem to be willing to pay the 2X, 3X, or more premium, then the show clubs it is. Another place to check out is downtown near Miau-Miau called La Casona. Others have reported that highrollers can find just what they need there. It's too bad the search function is broken on this forum (and yes, Jackson has been told of it). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Aquarius was a more 'locals' place out by the Coca Cola factory.

5)How much time do you need to make the rounds? I'm not joking when I say about a week. Mexicali is not only a big city, it has a very spread out scene.

Last night I went to Mas Morras in the El Pueblo section of Mexicali and hooked up with Leslie. When Mas Morras closed at 3:00 AM, we went to a motel for like 2 and one-half hours. Leslie might be what you are looking for. I rate her an 8 but you might have a different rating scale than I. She really likes Americans that have a lot of hair on their arms and chest.

DATY until she squirted (and I mean she really squirted a lot) BBBJ and DFK and FS. It was truly a GFE. I paid her $100 and she seemed happy with that.

Last night I went to a bar called Pajaritas. It is on Benito Juarez across the street from Harrahs. I had been there about a year ago and the women inside left a lot to be desired. I went there last night because I heard that there was a new owner with good management that was trying to turn Pajaritas into a good place for us mongers to go.

There were only 5 girls there but 3 of them were worth thinking about. Two 7s and a 10 named Natalie. I met the new manager. His name is Amado and he was the manager of Harrahs about4 years ago and was the manager of the club that eventually became Madonnas before if was Madonnas. He is really a great guy. He told me that he is currentlly recruiting a fleet of chicas to work at Pajaritas and is running a help wanted ad in the newpaper. He said that eventually there will be a lot of good chicas there.

They are planning there grand reopening for Friday, September 10 and Saturday September 11 and they have recruited four of the dancers from Mas Morras to be there for the grand reopening to perform and offer their services. (Including Leslie and her sister Karla).

They will be closed this Sunday August 29 for some internal repairs but will be open again on Monday.

As usual when I meet a new chica here in Mexicali that I am interested in I only chatted with Natalie last night and bought her a few drinks and told her that I will be back in Mexicali in about a week. I got some really great vibes from her and she is truly a 10. How about a list of chica friendly hotels in Mexicali near the action?

This is a very difficult question to answer because the action is spread out throughout the entire city. Most Mexican citys have a zona rosa that is in one location but in Mexicali, the entire city is the zona rosa. That is why it takes about a week to hit all of the great spots. Every little bar in Mexicali has one or two or more chicas available for action. I have been living there every other week for over a year now and still have not hit all of the places that I have heard about from my friends there.

I have stayed at Hotel Colonial and Siesta Inn with no problems bringing chicas to the room as long as I register for 2 persons, me and my "esposa". Do not ever stay at Hotel Lucerna if you want to take a chica to your room. The security there is airtight and they don't want that kind of activity at their hotel. I have been told that Hotel Calafia and Hotel Araiza are also good for chicas, but can't tell you from personal experience.

For short term activity, there are 2 motels that are really great, but they are both on the Eastern extremity of Mexicali. They are owned by the same person and are set up for our type of activity. Motel El Morro is in the Eastern part of Mexicali on the road that goes to the airport and Motel Mediteraneo is in the Eastern part of Mexicali on Lazaro Cardenas. Both have garages for your car with the entry to the room from inside the garage and both are very very fancy. The rooms are like suites. The rooms go for 280 pesos for 4 hours or 560 pesos for an overnight stay. Motel Mederaneo has jacuzzi suites and swimming pool suites for more money. Both have full bar service for delivery to the room and porno channels on the cable tv. Most of the chicas know where both of these motels are. On a Friday or Saturday night you need to get into a room really early or really late as these 2 motels fill up in a hurry during the "prime time".

a sunday night in mexicali

my long weekend in san diego would not have been complete without a bit of mongering. tijuana? well, i would undoubtedly be able to slip across the border logistically to taste the offerings of the zona norte. but i was looking for something more than a hurried coupling interrupted by an untimely knock on the door. i had noted a number of messages touting mexicali as a great alternative mongering destination. i did some research and discovered that mexicali might just offer more of a gfe experience, albeit at a higher price, than tj. accordingly, i drew up an itinerary of high-end places to visit. i also asked for advice, which a number of regulars were kind to offer. i took some of the advice and put off the rest for a later trip. in any case, the help i did get was invaluable. thanks, guys!

a. on the road

what with mostly 70 mph speed limits, the trip to mexicali from my motel in chula vista took less than two hours. it was a bit unnerving to go from sea level to sea level via the steep, curvy cresting of a 4100-foot high mountain rang all in a 100 mile or so drive, however. i had not been able to leave the san diego area until around nine, so i crossed the border at around eleven or so. the crossing was uneventful. i had transcribed some directions to the clubs i was most interested in from the web. nonetheless, i was soon lost, driving on a street whose street signs i could not locate. finally, i saw a sign; i was driving on madero, a street that runs parallel to the border. i took the next right and found myself on altamirano. miau-miau was right in front of me. i had, through the sheerest luck, found my first club.

b. miau-miau.

i found a parking spot on altamirano and headed for miau-miau. i noted that madonna’s was right next door. i thought i’d give it a look. they wanted a 40-peso cover. no thanks!
instead, it was around the corner to miau-miau for me. i found the place a little empty. it was a sunday, after all, but i had hoped for more than the five or six girls i could spot around the room. still, the girl dancing was attractive; she reminded me of the porn star tawny peaks. in addition, i spotted an even better looking blonde with nice jugs sitting in a booth. she noted my interest but did not seem to return it. well, why stand on ceremony--i approached her. she hit me up for a $20 dance, which i figured i would employ as a prelude to seeing if she was the girl i’d like to take across the street to the hotel reforma.

well, she was not. i did get to do a lot of grabbing and licking during the dance, but the girl (whose name i can’t recall) was quite uninspired. at the end of the dance, she gave my cock one single desultory squeeze. she was not going to be anything close to a gre possibility–that’s for sure! since i could see no other genuine candidates for my favors (the dancer i had noticed upon entering was engrossed with an older guy and was plainly not going to be available for a while), it was time to move on.

before getting in my car, i decided to try madonna’s again. i could not see paying the 40 pesos cover so i fibbed to the doorman that i was looking for my amigos and couldn’t i just take a peek to see if they were in there? “okay,” he said. i walked in and took a quick look. not only were my amigos not there but the place of totally bereft of women as well. there was not a single woman in the place. it was definitely time to move on!

c. club aquarius

it was a straight shot down altamirano to lopez mateos, a wide commercial street. per my instructions from a guy standing in front of madonna’s, i passed a shopping mall, mcdonalds, the crowne plaza hotel and even a bull ring. as i drove along, i was impressed by what a nice city mexicali was. compared to what, you ask? well, i find tj, at least the parts i frequent, to be an absolute dump. almost third world. this part of mexicali could have been in a poorer but still respectable section of a large american city. it was absolutely okay. what is more, the wide streets made the driving seem much safer than in tj (i had picked up special mexico rent-a-car insurance for the trip but probably would not have needed it in mexicali, although i would not dream of driving in tj without it). finally, i spotted los indios hotel on the right and aquarius on the left.

i could just as well have kept on driving. aquarius–a small little bar–was essentially deserted. i realize that this was a sunday night but i had hoped for more than a grand total of three girls. one was the dancer–a fleshy, unappealing blond–and the other two were brunettes of no particular distinction. i sipped my diet coke for a few moments and then bolted. oh, well. aquarius might be just the ticket on a friday or saturday night but as for this particular sunday–the only day i was able to go–forget it!

d. guau-guau

guau-guau was easy to find. i drove down lopez mateos to the first boulevard, maneuvered around heavy road construction, and made what amounted to a left turn on lazaro cardenas. several blocks down i came to another wide street which i hoped was benito juarez. it was. (by the way, my street routings made me feel as if i was taking a lesson in mexican political history!). guau-guau was only a block or so down the street on my right.

guau-guau looked on the outside like the real deal; it was fairly large with a courtyard filled with cars. it too had a cover charge–40 pesos, again–but this time i was happy to pay. from the outside at least, this place looked alive! once inside i could see that the place was fairly jammed. there were also a lot of girls around, some with guys, some alone. i took a seat at a ringside table and for starters checked out the dancer.

you will be stopped for doing the normal stupid stuff such as speeding, drinking in public, pissing on the street or believe it or not doing a u-turn downtown. my procedure when stopped is to put a $20 around my license and hand it to the cop. he wil understand and you will be on your way in two minutes. many americans question this procedure but it is better than a normal chp stop in the us where you have to wait, sign for the ticket and deal with all the bull shit and then have your insurance rates go up.

it is not illegal to drive while under the influence as long as you are not totally shit faced. mex cops don't like open containers in the car, same as in california. if you drink in moderation you should be ok. if you drink to excess you have some serious problems.

crown plaza is best hotel in mexicali. also try hotel lucerne, they have discount rates on weekends, do the internet shopping. there are two hotels in the same block as crown plaza that are also acceptable. all are new and clean and up to us standards (a/c, heat, no bugs, clean, tele, tv, security guards, etc.) the one adjacent to sanborn's is cheapest say $53 a night but if fills up fast.

went to the zone wednesday night and plenty of women in their 30's most in the range of 5-7. gato negro had a few 7's. few men and the women need the money.

directions to guau-guau:

after crossing the border into mexicali come to the fork and take a right onto lopez mateos, a long, wide commercial street. you'll know you're heading on the right street in the right direction as you will pass a shopping mall, mcdonalds, the crowne plaza hotel, and a bull ring. ultimately, as you continue south on lopez mateos, you'll pass over an overpass that is independencia. keep your eyes peeled for two landmarks, los indios motel on the right and aquarius on the left. it might be worth stopping and taking a look in aquarius to see if you see anyone who strikes your fancy.

if not, or if a straight shot to guau-guau is your aim, continue south on lopez mateos to the next big street. it is lazaro cardenas. you'll want to take a left, although because of contruction, i had to continue south of lazaro cardenas, make a u-turn, and then turn right on lazaro cardenas. if there's a better way to avoid the construction, i did not find it. at any rate, you're now heading east or southeast on lazaro cardenas. the next big street should be benito juarez. take a right on benito juarez. you will then find guau-guau on the right about a block or so south of lazaro cardenas.

it's simplier than my detail makes it sound. cross the border, get on lopez mateos heading south, left on lazaro cardenas, and right on benito juarez. and then enjoy!

Leslie will most likely be at Mas Morras the night that you want to go. She did a special favor for the new manager and new owner of Bar Pajaritas by working there for there grand reopening on Friday Sept 10 and Saturday Sep 11, but Mas Morras is where she permanently works.

To get to Mas Morras, veer right after you cross the border onto Lopez Mateos. I think it is about 3 or 4 signals to get to Calle Mexico. If you turn left at Calle Mexico you will be at Madonas, Miau Miau and Ole Ole in 2 blocks. To get to Mas Morras, turn right on Calle Mexico and turn right the first place you can (you will be looking at Popeyes when you turn right). I think you turn right at the next intersection (this will be the intersection just before you get to the Playboy Club). Mas Morras will be on your left with big blue and pink neon signs above the door.

The least expensive way to hook up with Leslie is to buy her a few drinks, watch her perform on the stage and arrange for you to go with you at 3:00 AM when Mas Morras closes (it might close at 4:00 AM on Saturday night). Tell her that you will be back 15 minutes before they close and leave. This way you won't be stuck buying her drinks all night. If you want her to leave early you will have to pay the bar an exit fee to make up for the moeny that the bar won't make because she is gone. This is 300 pesos in most places in Mexicali. I went to Ole Ole last week because I heard that it had a new owner that had completely remodeled the inside. Ole Ole used to be one of the worst places to go in Mexicali because the inside was dirty and dingy and the girls were ugly and fat. I have to say that Ole Ole is a completely different place now. The inside is really nice and the bathrooms which used to be terrible are better than those at Miau Miau and Madonas. And the new girls are definitely good looking.

I also went to the grand reopening of Bar Pajaritas on Friday night and it was well worth the trip. It was loaded with good looking girls and had Leslie and her sister Karla from Mas Morras dancing at the "tubo". The new manager told me that they are not going to normally have girls dancing at the pole. They just had them there for the grand reopening. Spartan 94, from reading your posts it sounds like you are well on your way to a good time. However, a word of warning, you will probably not be able to get a girl past security at the Crowne Plaza if she looks even remotely like a working girl.
I recommend you down grade on the hotel to a 4 star and spend the difference on one of the specialty no tell hotels for the date. The Morocco is super nice, the rooms are plush and classy like a Las Vegas penthouse suite. There is another one that I think is called the Meditterranean that has theme rooms and indoor pools. Take Justo Sierra south to Benito Juarez and then southeast on Juarez directly to Guau-Guau, et al.

This is too easy for me because I am coming from the east so I use the newer Port of Entry east of downtown Calexico. Thus I skip the "fun" of that madness. Not to mention the "fun" of driving through the Zona Centro. This POE closes at 2200 and opens at 0600.

If you come through at the downtown POE then, instead of taking the fork to the right onto Mateos, take the fork to the left onto Madero just like you were going to Cleopatra's or the Bar San Diego. After about 2 miles and numerous Stop signs you come to Justo Sierra. Turn right.

Another advantage to this is the return trip. Justo Sierra feeds directly into the road that follows the fence directly back to the POE. Mateos does not. You will have to turn north from Mateos at some point and if you wait until you are too close to the border you will find the concrete barracades on the one-way street and have to loop around to the east until you are past them.

Mexicali is like any other large city, if you know where to go and how to get there it's easy. Until then it seems like a maze deliberately built to drive out-of-towners crazy.

Fellow mongers. The hotel you are thinking about is the SAMIL. Large clean room with large tiled shower, king size bed and only $28 a night. Small sitting area. I believe some room service available but not late at night. It is designed for affairs as the hotel is enclosed so the wife cannot either drive in (guarded gate so if you are not a guest no entry) or see from the outside. Also, covered parking as garage is under the room so the spouse cannot even see the car if she got past the gate. So much prasie for modern Mexican design.

Jack uses Hotel Samil often. Try it, you'll like it.

There is a similar hotel next to the El Establo (stable) hotel next to the new coca cola plant but I have never used it. Also similar hotel leaving MXL for TJ. If a problem with Crown Plaza try Lucerne and once you register say your wife is joining you later, they understand as Lucerne largely caters to business interests in Mexico and gringo tourists. Great breakfast buffet.

My friend Richard tells me the Mediterrian is even nicer and newer and has a jacuzzi. 1 mile further down from the Samil.

For those looking for hotels go to or search for mexicaliturismo. Hit english and then accomodations. There are many listings of hotels from the dumps to high end. There are also other listings for restaurants and I use the site often.

Thanks Jack...The Samil is the one that I was trying to think of...very popular with those who are having flings. In Mexico many singles live with their parents until marrying therefore the basic need for these hotels. Of course they also come in handy for mongerers. There is also a couple on the road to the airport. I hear that they maintain a list of available call-girls and will call a girl for you at any time of the day, just show up, rent the room and place your order. You need to go visit Alicia at Bar San Diego. The best "older" woman in Mexicali. Also, there are very few non pro bars in Mexicali. You might try La Capilla at Hotel Lucerna which on ocassion I have had very good results meeting non pro women.

If you want someone to date you once or twice a week, I would go for one of the pros at Bar Pajaritas. It is a great ficha bar with very willing and acomodating pros. But don't expect it to be for free.

I agree with Mr. Arturo. Start with Alicia at BSD. Check out her pic which is posted. She looks much better in person. Ask Castillo or one of the waiters (Castillo speaks English) to introduce her. After you are tired of her, try the zone. Cross the POE, bear right and go 4 blocks or so. There are women all over the place. 3Aces is a good place or Playboy or any bar in that area. At first stick to Friday and Saturday nights starting around 5 p.m., first come, first serve. Simply ask the girl to dance, buy a drink and you are on your way. I would stay away from the SG's unless you are into quickies with no foreplay. Start out slow until you find your comfort level in Mexico. If you want to start at titty bars, that is OK. I stay away from those places unless with friends or out-of-towners who want to see some tits.

I like to dance so I go to the ficha bars. Most women there are semi-pro, have children at home which they must support (the old man left for a younger chick) and are quite happy with either the ficha (money from the drink) or dance money ($1 or $$10 pesos).
After 3,4 or 5 or 6 drinks all the women know the score so say vamos (we go) or hotel (hotel is hotel) quarto (room). Street price is $20 she may want more i.e. you will pay the gringo price which is generally double market. Before I learned how to count in Spanish I used my fingers to draw the dollar amount, the sign of a true, dedicated monger!

Another option is to pay a fair price. If you like the girl start at $30 or $40 after all that price for one hour of FS is really cheap and I am not to quibble over a little fun money.

As to percentages they all go, that is why they are at the bar. I have only been rejected twice in 18 years of weekly contact so the percentage is 99%. Rejection may come from that time of the month and the women are there for dancing only that day or days so do not take a no for rejection if you are a true to heart monger. BTY, three months ago I did one of my prior rejects from 3 years ago so persistence does count.

Also, write down some spanish phrases of a 3 X 5 card. Those useful phrases can be found in this country's site. If you are married memorize the phrases as damning evidence is in your wallet. In most bars someone will speak English. I seem to be approached by someone deported who wants me to buy them a beer so let them do the talking. I prefer to do my own bargaining to avoid add on commissions - Mexico is still a capitalistic economy.

Time. The prices are generally for the time it takes you to pop. That varies from fast to one hour. I love a nice, tight pussy and some women have them, most do not. YMMV.

All nighters. I agree with prior posts and start with a quickie and work your way up to an all nighter if you like the girl. If she has a cell, she is a pro/semi-pro and CHEAP all nighters are likely out of the question. Personally, I like double headers, 2 games in one day after all variety is the spice of life. Also, you will get more rejections if you ask for toda la noche so start slowly.

A good soldier knows his terrain so study the land. Go to different places, be seen and the good times will flow. Again, follow the advice of those mongers experienced - start at BSD until you do all of them there and need to test other markets, venues and are ready to venture out. I prefer bars close to the border as it takes a few minutes to drive to BSD. Do Alicia at BSD or Dina at Bar Gallo Gira (next to Playboy). I went to Bar Pajaritas again last Wednesday night (Oct 6) and as usual since the change in ownership/management there were more girls this time than the last time I was there. They now have 16 girls working there.

The price for Copa Dama is 50 pesos and the girls are really affectionate and like to dance while you are buying them copas. There are privado booths in which you can do anything that you want with the girls for reasonable prices that you negotiate with them. The price for the privados is 200 pesos for 2 songs. Try Jema. She has huge natural chichis and gives great BBBJ for 250 pesos in the privado booth. She likes to have cum all over her face.

Bar Pajaritas also has a small bed in the office and will rent the office to you for 200 pesos for 30 minutes. You can lock the door from the inside and most of the girls will do FS for 400 to 500 pesos.

If you want to have a girl go to a hotel with you, there is an exit fee of 300 pesos to the bar for 2 hours which they will usually allow up to 2.5 hours. The girls need to return by 3:00 AM to collect there pay for the night from the bar. If you wait until 3:00 AM when the bar closes there is no exit fee, but most of the girls want to get home before there kids wake up.

If you exit with a girl at 2:00 AM, they will usually reduce the exit fee to 200 pesos and pay the girl here pay for the night before she leaves with you.

If your spanish is limited, there is a girl there named Sol that speaks very good english and I have heard that she provides great service but have not tried her yet.

I am definitely going to return to Bar Pajaritas next week when I return to Paraiso (Mexicali).

Went to Hotel Lucerne and La Capilla bar Friday night. The bar is small and a band was playing. Saw one other gringo there and about 8 available older (30's to 40's) hispanic women. Most were fairly atractive, only saw one I wouldn't touch unless despirate. In sum it wasn't a ficha bar and the women albeit older were presentable.

I arrived around 9:30 p.m. and the band was playing. Women arrived around 10:00p.m. in groups of 2 or 3. Men just sat and drank and only one man was asking women to dance, i.e. a typical bar.

Pick your hotel fast. Went to Hotel Samil around 10 p.m. Friday night to get a room. 250 pesos is my kind of price for a nice clean room with covered parking. When I pulled in the clerk asked whether I had reservations. I said are you kidding and she was serious. I almost shit. All the rooms were taken.

Headed back toward town and tried the hotel next to the stable (el estable) and it was booked. Same for hotel next to Sanborn's (Posade del sol) and Hotel Colonial. Fiesta Inn is now open and new and got a room there for $79. Something was going on in Mexicali think some type of race OR something to do with ATV's as that was all I saw.

I guess I'll have to follow my old policy of lining up the room first then drinking and getting the girl. I made the mistake of drinking first, getting the girl and then finding a room. I felt like a college kid trying to get laid with no rooms available.

Directions to Bar San Diego (BSD).
From I-8 go through Calexico. AT POE (reset odometer) bear left and follow the aeropuerto sign. It's about 2 miles to Justo Sierra, continue straight and turn RIGHT on Rio Culican (about 3.6 miles). BSD is on the left-hand side about 1/2 mile after turning. Sign says MOtel Las Dunas. To return, reverse direction and return is easy as return road parallels the border, a no brainer.
barsandiego has an internet site by that name. Above directions are easier that those provided by that site.

Directions to Strip Clubs. Same directions, bear left and turn right at the first PEMEX station on the right. Proceed 1 block and you can't miss the titty bars. If you want others go to the "zone rojo". From the titty bars go straight 2 blocks, see the main street turn right, then left. You will see Black Cat, PLayboy, 3 Aces, others.

There are some good clubs but much farther down past the Walmart. Email Joe Arturo for directions.

BTW it is generally best to drive your own car especialy on week nights in Mexicali. Insurance is nice if you have a newer car.

Went to BSD Thursday evening around 8 p.m. Counted 20 women in bar, did not know those in rest room or doing customers. Carolina is back. Saw Carolina, probably the only enhanced girl there. I have not posted in awhile been going to TJ here and there. I have been boycotting Nogie for a couple of years and have been reading the Mexicali board with great interest as an alternative to Nogie. I live in North Phoenix area and Mexicali is a 4 hour drive from my casa so only another hour of driving than Nogales. It is well worth it IMHO. I waited for weather to cool down and read all the posts and made my newbie run.

I stayed at Hotel Lucerna on weekend rate (could not get the Siesta Inn 800 number to work.) Mexicali is not like other border towns I have been to. It is very nice and felt safe the whole time. I went to Miau Miau first and it was okay. I could not get anyone to go to hotel for less than $200. I did not went to pay that. It was very slow so it did not appear the girls were making much money that night but no takers. So I had a couple of chicas sitting with me feeling under my pants so that was nice. I did a couple of table dances and got offered BJ for 100 which I definitely declined. I was the only gringo in the place at the time. Then I went to Bar San Diego the backup plan.

Again, I was the only gringo I could see so when I walked in you get the eyes on you immediately. I sat at the bar and a little spinner named Isabel was there sitting next to me. I'm an enthusiastic hobbyist from the east coast who loves latinas. I've been to Nogales numerous times, Nuevo Laredo and TJ once each. Had some M-W business in southern CA and figured I'd try Mexicali on the weekend before. I do not speak Spanish so I knew it would be a challenge but read up on it as much as I could in advance. Many thanks to those here who helped light my way.

In addition to being a trip report this is also intended as a guide for other first timers.

Arrived in San Diego about noon on Saturday Nov 6th, and paid the additional Mexican insurance on my rental car ($25/day -ouch). As it turned out the driving was mellow in Mexicali so I never needed it, but I didn't want to take a chance. I headed for Mexicali over I-8. Beautiful day, beautiful drive. From sea level to 4,000 ft back to seal level in 90 minutes. Amazing desert/mountain landscape of giant round boulders that must've rolled for eons on what was then the sea floor. Cool.

PESOS VS. DOLLARS
I'd read that pesos are necessary in Mexicali so I stopped at one of the many exchange shops along 111 in the border town (Calexico) and turned $200 USD into pesos at 11.25x1, figuring I'd keep the rest of my cash stash in USD until needed. As it turned out, everywhere I went I could have used dollars. But they tend to exchange at 11x1 in the regular businesses (restaurants, etc) and 10x1 in the sex business. So using your 11.25x1 pesos for sex transactions at 10x1 is definitely the best value. If she says $20, give her 200 pesos. It worked for me.

HOTEL
Border crossing was fast and easy. Drove to Hotel Lucerne where I had booked a room in advance thru Expedia. $70 plus tax came to $78.40. Nice room on top floor w/ balcony overlooking small but well-kept pool. Carlos the bellman speaks great English so I had him show me the locations on a map of all the hobby spots I'd picked out in advance. That helped me get my bearings since they are spread out all over Mexicali. He said hotel security keeps an eye out so that guests don't bring unregistered visitors back to their rooms. I will pick another hotel next time so I can "eat in" if I want.

DRIVING
I agree with former reporters that driving is a must unless you know exactly where you want to go and don't want to move around a lot from there once you arrive. You could do that if you want to stay in the Zona where there are lots of ficha bars and SG's. But there are a number of other interesting venues to practice the craft around town so I will always try to drive on future visits. The driving itself was easy. No different than the average US city and much easier than many (Boston, NY, etc). DRIVING TIP: keep your eye out for their Stop signs. They are smaller than ours and not as reflective. You could easily drive thru one and get in a bad accident. Then you're toast.

SATURDAY TRIP REPORT
Left my hotel by car about 4 to drive to as many of the hobby spots as I could so I could see them in the daylight and get used to Mexicali traffic, etc. The maps I downloaded from the web were critical. As it turns out the places were mostly in small clusters with a few outlyers. All within 20-30 minute driving radius.

ZONA
First I scoped out the ZONA, which is about 10 square blocks in the old part of town they call CENTRO. It looks like the tattered-around-the-edges parts of Texas towns like San Antonio. Lots of people on the streets. Best thing for a newbie is to drive it to get the lay of the land, then park and walk around. The main venues here are ficha bars and SG's in hotels. There is a large disco called Terraza on the 2nd floor of a building also.

BARS
The ficha bars in the Zona are all based on the same theme. You enter and are shown to a booth or small table around or near a dance floor or stage. There is also a bar w/ stools. Girls want you to buy them drinks (generally 50pesos / $5). You can dance with the women if you want. Although I read that the scene is not aggressive, I was regularly approached either by girls or by waiters asking me to buy drinks for girls. I look pretty gringo so I suppose I had a target on me.

I spent time in Playboy, Gato Negro, 3 Aces and Gallo Gira. I enjoyed Playboy the best because girls would strip on the dance floor. I went up to one of the raised booths along the back with a tall, slender 26 year-old brunette and had fun for about 15 minutes, the time it took her to finish 2 of the $5 girl drinks, little pony bottles of Tecate. She let me feel her top and bottom (skin-on-skin but no digital insertion) and lick and suck her nips. She did not reciprocate with any handling of my eqpt. She had a very enthusiastic personality and spoke a little English so we tried to communicate while I enjoyed her corpus delecti. (Face=7, Body=8 Attitude=9). According to reports these girls are available for take-out to a hotel if you pay a fee to the bar (I think $20). Her services are negotiated directly. I plan to try that on my next trip when I stay at a more girl-friendly hotel. Overall the talent in the ficha bars ranged from 4-8. Lots of heavier gals. Music tends to be LOUD.

SG'S IN THE ZONA
There are a lot of cheap hotels throughout the Zona. SG's stand in and just outside the doorways. You use a $5/50 peso room in the hotel for your session. The hotels with the largest and best selection while I was there were Paris, Pacifico and 16th September. Others had fewer and what they had was nas-ty. Sometimes of questionable gender. There are women available as early as noon but the quantity definitely picks up in the evening.

OUTSIDE THE ZONA
I left the Zona and headed for the strip bar Miau Miau on Sat night about 7 to see what it was all about. It and Madonna's are around the corner from each other in an older part of Centro a few blocks east of the Zona. Near Hotel Reforma. Décor of the place is like a better-than-average US strip club. I ordered a beer from a nice English-speaking waiter who I tipped $1 to get on his good side. I'd read that the girls in these strip bars are 9's and 10's but that they don't approach you so I figured I'd befriend a native guide. Well so much for hearsay b/c within 2 minutes I had a girl asking me if I wanted company, just like in stateside joints. She was nice looking, an 8 by normal measures. I'd read that dances are 20 so I cut right to the chase and ordered one figuring I'd see how playful they are and how aggressively they upsell the sex in private rooms. I paid 200 pesos and they didn't complain. The dance was in a comfortable booth type affair in a large separate room. She stripped nude and let me lick and suck her nips. She was freely fondling my eqpt and began immediately selling a BJ for 120, 60 house/60 her. I politely declined and the price came down some more. Her English was sketchy but I think the offer got as low as 40/40 without prompting by the time the song ended. Went back to my table, watched more dancers and finished my drink. Two additional girls approached looking for me to buy them a drink or buy a dance. Around the corner Madonnas wanted 4.50 to get in so I passed, got back in the car and headed south towards Geau Geau, Harra's and Bar Pajaritas, all within a block of each other on the main drag about 3 or 4 miles south of Centro. I hit Harra's first having read a rave review about it. And I can see it has interesting possibilities if you speak Spanish. All of the women working there are available to sit with you and have drinks and apparently most are in play to go with you to your hotel for very reasonable rates. There were some good looking ones there but NO ONE spoke any English. There was one babe in particular who had the best body I saw the whole time I was in Mexicali. I would kill to take her to my hotel for 3-4 hours. Next time, with a girl-friendly hotel I will try Harra's again and hope she's still there.

Bar Pajaritas was also highly recommended. I walked over to it from Harra's but found it pretty quiet. Only 4 girls and none were all that hot. An English-speaking guy named Martin approached me at the bar and apologized that all his best girls were already out. I'd read that he has an office there with a bed in it. He offered to set me up with any of the 4 girls right then but I passed. I hold out for quality whenever I can, (until the little head has taken over the thinking). It was only 9:00 Sat night and he said more and better girls would be coming later. I thanked him and said I'd be back.

Walked over to Geau-Geau, which is owned by same guy as Miau-Miau. Looks about the same but bigger with its own parking lot. Paid the $4 cover which included 2 beers. Girls were the same as M-M, basically latin versions of stateside strippers. You've seen it all before. Lots of guys tipping. No girls walking around trolling for drinks and privados though. Kind of odd. Quickly downed my two XX's and split.

I knew the time had come to try the famous Bar San Diego (BSD) hoping to get what I'd read is a world-class BJ from Alicia, and am pleased to report I succeeded. The BSD sits in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a motel out back where the deeds get done. BSD is smaller and darker than I'd imagined. I enjoyed a nice unhurried $25 session ($5 for hotel, $20 for girl) at the Paris Hotel. I also cruised the big mall just south of downtown for a while just to see local talent. Although there are certainly many homely women in the general population, overall the average is way higher than your typical stateside mall, at least in the east. And all the young shopgirls working in the stores are worth the trip by themselves. All dipped and glazed and ready to eat!

Overall I enjoyed Mexicali and plan to go again when business brings me to southern CA. Driving and staying overnight is the way to go, and in a girl-friendly hotel. I don't believe I saw any other gringos the whole time I was there (until the long car line to cross back into the US, which took an hour on Sunday night). I certainly heard no English being spoken between any other people. Next time I will book a girl-friendly hotel once I arrive and try a take-out deal from Harra's or Bar Pajaritas or one of the ficha bars for a nice, long session with a passionate latina. And I want to get my freak on for a quickie with one of those young SG cuties in the Zona hotels. So much pussy, so little time.

For those wondering how to get to Benito Juarez from Lopez Mateos without having to deal with the construction at Lazero Cardenas, I have found the way to do so. As you are going south on Lopez Mateos there is a bridge just past Hotel Colonial and Sanborns that goes over Independencia. Instead of going over the bridge, stay in the right lane and exit Lopez Mateos (it is like a freeway offamp). The street that you come to is Independencia. Turn left on this street and take it to Benito Juarez. Hotel Lucerna is on the corner of Independencia and Benito Juarez.

I went to Bar Pajaritas last night to celebrate my divorce being final. I got really drunk with Hornitos and Don Julio. There is a new girl their by the name of Denise and she is really hot.

From Rte. 7 new P.O.E intersects @ Hwy.98 if you go right it will take you to eastbound I 8 to Yuma AZ. If you turn left it will take you to Hwy. 111 then make a right @ Hwy. 111 heading northbound until you get to the I 8 interchange (clover leaf) then go east or west. In the future Rte. 7 will intersect w I 8 directly.

She is a polite person, I guess her point was that she merely acted like a lady and let the guy impart his vast knowledge about the various types of wines. I suggested that she drink what she likes and she stated that her dates don't even ask for her recommendations. I found that odd.

a word to the wise, don't do it or else be very careful. an american is not allowed to own property within 65 km of the u.s./mexico border nor within 100 km of a beachfront.

there are ways around this though. buy it through and attorney you trust and have him lease it back to you for 99 years with automatic renewals to your heirs. find yourself a woman down there to share the place with you and do the same. you'll never actually own the border property, but it can't be taken from you.

sometimes the laws are overlooked and they will sell to you but there is always the chance, somewhere down the line that if someone wants the property, they can come in and kick you off it and confirep001e the property. this happened down in baja several years ago where a bunch of wealthy retirees had bought and built on land owned by the republic.

Jack has been looking into such a deal as he spends anywhere from $8 a pop (Hotel Kennedy) to almost $100 at higher end hotels. Doing the nasty eight to ten times a month can add up in just hotel fees.

Legal issues. Foreigners cannot own land in Mexico except after sometime in mid-90's when foreign investment act enacted. Basically a trust is formed and you own nothing, you just rent it just like the beer we all drink, remember you can never own beer! Trusts can last as long as 99 years. Notaries in Mexico can handle the whole deal. Another option would be to put the property in another's name but who can you trust in Mexico - your ***** girlfirend?

Real estate is finance. You want to put as little down as theoriticaly your investment would increase based on the total property value. By way of example if one puts 1k down on a 100k house which appreciates to 110k in one year you made 1000% on your 1k investment.

I fully realize the Mexicali does not appreciate that fast if any at all. All prices are in US dollars (interesting feelings about their national currency) and there is literally no financing i.e. all cash deals. That is why most buy a lot and build. Building is slow in Mexico. Building is logistics - getting material and people on the job site and Mexico is just getting to understand equipment rental places.

Some building design is good. They use a lot of concrete as that is cheap. Concrete has problems in earthquakes so figure.

You can get a low-income house for about 17k, a 2 bedroom with small living room an kitchen and a car port. No or little equipment (no a/c refer, etc.).

With all this in mind, Jack is looking not so much from an investment view as I would just save some expense money and break even having a little fun in the meantime. My goal is to find a f*** palace, 2br condo, gated in a nice area of town with low maintenance fees. Unfortunately I have not found anything close save a few apartments.

I understand that you would have to use the house. Most houses have burglar bars - a sign of security in the area. Police patrols and security are non-existent and I have seen few housues with alarm systems as many don't even have a telephone. Check the CIA fact book for per capita phone use in Mexico. It is nothing near that of the US. The point is someone will have to be there frequently during the week, it could not be left for a few weeks or so.

You are mistaken about land ownership in Mexico. In some areas (within some miles of the shore or border) you need to pay a bank to own the land for you in a trust. You have to pay them to set it up and yearly maintenance. This runs in the 1 to 3 % range. Inland you can own the land outright. There is no 99 year lease thing going on any more.

Give ya'll a couple of examples here of the Mexico real estate.

The house my wife and I own here in NL was bought in 1968 for the equivalent of $10K... 44 years later it is valued for property tax purposes at $38K. This is a 3br 1ba moderate size house in a middle class (doctors,lawyers,teachers) neighborhood.

We were looking for something larger here last year and here is where it got interesting. Found one for $48K which I'm sure was a gringo price, same colonia just a coule of blocks from us. Owner wanted $24K down, with the remainder to be paid within 3 months. Wasn't that generous?

Newly constructed two story duplexes 4br 1.5 baths about the same. $20k enganche, $600 per month with a $3K balloon every December until the note was paid. Crazy

Mexicali Jack is correct though about the notaries and the rest. Purchasing real eastate here involves only a 1 or 2 page document. Nothing more.

If you think about it though, the 99 year lease ain't a bad deal. Cause after you're dead, who gives a shit, right!

Also remember to tip well - it pays in the long run.

It has been 6 months since I have posted. Went to Mexicalli and finally drove. Wow what a trip. The locals like to blow their horn at everything. Stayed at a motel almost directly across from hotel Lucerna for $37. I think it was monger friendly because when i checked in we chatted awhile and he asked if I was alone and he stated it was awfully cold to be alone. Will try to bring a chica back to the room the next time. The map I had was very good and thanks to the directions from Mexicalli Jack I was able to drive right to BSD. Started out Saturday evening around 6 PM at Harras. Only a couple of chicas there. Had a couple of beers and left for El Establo. Once again at 7:00 not much happening so had a beer and went to centro bars Girro Galla and 3 Ases. Alot of locals I had seen before. Had 3 or 4 beers and decided to find some Tacos. After eating decided on BSD. Have never been there before. Arrived at about 11:30. Wow your posts about the chicas there was correct. I drank a few beers and chatted the best I could with my limited Spanish with a georgeouse 5 ft 1 " approx 100 pound chica from Vera Cruz. She was a real spinner. One half hour, paid for the room and $60 for the lady. Awsome attitude and all positions. Service could have been a little better. BJ a 6. Doggie a 6 and MISH a 6. Will return sometime as there must have been 12 ladies all in the 6 to 10 range.

Took my staff to a late dinner Wed night at Hotel Lucerne, restaurant next to piano bar. Saw a knock out hostess there. I simply could not take my eyes off her. Early 20's, B cups and strikingly beautiful, one the the best I have ever seen in going to Mexicali for about 20 years. Hadn't been to the stable in some time and was pleasantly surprised. Counted 13 young, attractive chicas all in 20's, friendly and ready. Younger and better girls than at BSD. La Mosca is a new club in Mexicali located on Cuatemoc east of Justo Sierra. It looks exactly like a US club on the inside. When crossing the border at the old port of entry, bear to the right and go east on Madero which runs parallel to the border. You will see the Corona agency on the left which is your cure to make a right hand turn on Justo Sierra. Cuatemoc is a couple of block south and has a sign indicating that it the route to the airport. Go left (east) on Cuatemc and you will see La Mosca.

This club is owned by the same people who own Madonas and Mas Moras.

Went there last night and the place was absolutely packed but very few chicas. Must be the season, I think many of the girls go home for the holidays.

Headed up to Gallo Gira with a friend just to drink some beers and we met who I now believe to be Dinah. She was older, short and kinda stocky, but pleasent and she spoke english. Stayed at Fiesta Inn across the street from Crowne Plaza. The place looks nice from the outside but they do NOT have heat in any of the rooms. I could not believe how cold it was inside the hotel. I should have known when I saw all fo the staff wearing heavy coats. It was so cold that I had to check out and check into Crowne Plaza. BTW the food at Los Arcos is excellent. I highly recommend the pescado la plancha along with the camaron cocktail and rasberry cheesecake. Dinner cost only 190 pesos.

A friend of mine and I did our normal rounds of Mexicali last night. Started out changing dollars for pesos. If you spend 2 or 3 hundred (the way I do) it really helps. There out to get my money, so I want every advantage I can get.

We started at the San Diego Bar. It has been a while for me and I have read about the new talent there. We just had a few drinks and looked over what was new. Over all, I would rate them a 7. But understand I always go for the best looking. If I am going to spend the money, it is going to be worth it. And a 7 just don't work for me. So we left and went to Geau Geau's. Now were getting better. I had a blonde come sit for awhile. Makes me mad I can't remember her name. But I really don't speak spanish so I have a hard time with some of there names. Anyway, I got my 60.00 lap dance and bbj in there private room. She wanted to go up the stairway to heaven for another 100.00, but her ass was just a little too big for me, so I passed. But a nice girl, fun to be with, had a good time. One thing I learned. I asked them to open a bar tab with my visa card. He asked how much. I wasn't thinking so I told him around 200.00. Well, they just charged my card the full 200.00. When leaving my bill was only 120.00. He did not know how to credit my card back, so they just gave me the cash.

I have been to La Mosca several times. It is owned by the same group that owns Madonas. It apparently has just opened within the last several months and is quite nice inside. Looks alot like American strip joints. They have the back room setup similar to Madonas and Mieow Mieow but nicer and cleaner.

However, along with the American ambience comes the American stripper attitude. Mucho money grubbing. Also, in the few times I have been there, not enough chicks but the talent level is good. The clientele is locals that appear to be solid middle class.

If you are familiar with the Madonas scene you probalby have seen "the sisters" who put on quite a lesbo dance routine. I saw them here. Also, they had a couple of other great looking chicks that did a full out genuine lesbo show on stage which included just about everything you can imagine. The guys in the place were going crazy. I hear that they do it almost every night at about 11pm or so.

All in all, I have to say that is certainly not my favorite place to go in Mexicali. I prefer Madonas or even the new Ole Ole because the atmosphere lends itself to a more friendly experience.

My normal routine when I had a clunker was to park along the side streets of the gas stations near the border, but now I am not to sure if I feel comfortable doing that with a nice car. Is there a parking lot to cross and walk over like they have in TJ?

I think someone here recommended the parking lot that is right near the border.
I don't remember the street but it is the last street before the border, make a right then about a block or so and it is on the right directly after crossing the RR tracks. A dirt lot with 24 hour attendant for about $5 a day I think. Your vehicle gets dusty after a couple of days there but I think that hides the "newness" of a vehicle. I have a new SUV and have not had a problem. The first time I went there the attendant told me to park right in front of the office but I felt safe parking anywhere after a couple of times there.

I suppose I could drive across since Mexicali seems so safe but I have seen the line back to USA border get very very long so I just walk across (I follow the RR tracks) and grab a cab to hotel Lucerna.

Bar Gallo Gira is a true dive but some hot chicks were there. Went to Bar Gallo Giro Thursday night and it was excellent. Danced with 3 different chicks and did one. Saw Gloria, chica that I posted a pic a few days ago. Since I was committed I did not partake although she looked good and I really wanted to do her.
Dina. Had a beer with Dina and she needs a man's company so guys get going. She is a little stocky and used to be a dancer but for her age she is real hot.
Parking for those who do not drive. From Imperial going South, take the last right before crossing, the street by the UETA going toward the airport or rr tracks. Parking is just by the tracks. I do not know the rate as I never have utilized their services. You can walk across from there, two blocks to the POE. If all one does is to go to a choice hotel driving a nice car is fine but watch crossing times as the wait is a killer. A true Mexicali monger (like Jack) drives a motorcycle to avoid the lines. Watch out about parking in rough neighborhoods. A friend of mine parked by the Los Cordobes a bar at the end of the zone and his truck was stolen. The Mexicali police recovered it about 1 month later.

I have been active in Mexicali for about 2 years. I buy annual Mexican insurance so that I can drive over without stopping to purchase it. The annual policy costs me about $325. It is a comprehensive policy that includes the legal assistance clause. I would think that would be invaluable if one had a mishap over there.

I almost always drive over because (1) it has proven to be safe to drive over there (2) I like the freedom of having my vehicle (3) if you pay attention to where you park you will not have a problem.

With regard to the line coming back, here are my observations. Near the holiday season, Thanksgiving to New Years the line is bad (45 min. to 1 hr.) almost all the time. Other than that, the line is bad in the mornings with workers commuting to jobs on this side of the border and on Sunday afternoons when tourists are returning from Mexicali or San Felipe. I have noticed that on Saturday nights starting about 2:30am the line can be atrocious because the American kids are trying to get back across the border after partying in the nightclubs. Other than these times, it's not too bad.

On the rare occasion that I would rather walk across, I usually park on 1st Avenue near the McDonalds that is adjacent to the POE. After 6 the street parking is free and there is always a LE presence that gives me a little bit of confidence.

Went to Mexicalli on the first and drove over. Went to the ZONA and stopped at Giro Galla first at about 6:00 in the evening. Wanted to see Dina who Mexicalli Jack talks alot about, but she was not there. Then went to 3 ASES. Saw alot of the same locals I see all the time. Had a couple of beers and then went to the bar next to 3 ASES. Not much there either, but there was a wicked cat fight. The bar tender got into it with another chica. The bar tender was not small by any means but the other chica must have been 6' 1" and 190 pounds. Kind of a pretty girl too. Just big. The bar tender held her own but the other girl was too big. No more excitement for me so I decided to head to the other part of town.

Drove to hotel Samil. Real nice place for $23. Headed over to El Establo and shot the breeze for a while. I was looking for a chica named Alejandra. She was a sweet little senorita I had two times last year. Hard to believe but no one remembered her. There were about 4 girls there in the 6 to 8 range and 2 in the 5 to 6 range. The bar tender kept trying to make moves on me but she was a 4 at best. So rather than hurt her feelings I went to BSD to try and hook up with Alicia whom I have never had the pleasure to be with. When I got there she was with another gentleman. I would say there were 10 girls most in the 6 to 8 range. It was getting a little late an d so I started shooting the breeze with a chica named Monci from Mexico City. Real nice lady to shoot the breeze with. Its starting to heat up now already. Just wondering, what do you guys prefer winter time mongering or summertime mongering. The summer brings unbearable heat in the daytime, but the bars are a little less crowded. The winter may have better weather and more chicas, but also bigger crowds and longer wait times to get back.

Imp521. Everyday in Mexicali is a good day. Slowest day is Monday and I like Thursday although sometimes that day sucks. TJ is good week after Thanksgiving as many hispanic women including from Southern U.S. go there for Christmas money. Yes, some hot honeys from LA come down and do the wild thing. The rest of the time I spend in Mexicali except a few sojourns to other areas.

When it gets too hot I go to TJ. I normally take I-8 but I have done the Mexican route with the hairpin turns on the toll road, autopesta. That toll was $11, could be higher with dollar plunge.

So RTFF and hit either AB or CC or try your luck in the alley with a SW. Also, if you are into older chicas try Mexico Lindo (ML) across from the seafood restaurant (Los Arcos?) just down from the jai lai, think its 6th St, a little west (south) from Revolution. Do not arrive early at ML. Things start late at LM so get there after 8 p.m. Use the hotel across the street. If you want a knock out older woman in her late 30's to mid 40's try ML. I like ML as the women take time i.e. over 1 hour and just worship you rather than the quickie TJ special. I love to have women worship my body with their lips! Also, it is easier to get a toda la noche at ML. Be prepared to pay a small bar fine.

Variety is the spice of life. TJ is dangerous so solo trips can be done but require extra security planning. The overall quality in TJ beats Mexicali any day, any time. Parking on the streets of TJ is a no-no so use paid parking or a taxi. I generally use cheap hotels on Agua Caliente. Sometimes I go to the Grand or other modern hotel especially in August when a/c is needed as many of the older hotels on Agua Caliente do not have a/c.

Summers are hit and miss in the Valley. I have had good days in Summer. If there are fewer customers the girls work cheaper i.e. $20 for an hour, not the inflated TJ prices. It used to be $40 a pop, now with inflation and mongers not reading the forum (RTFF) average price in TJ is approaching $60.

Went bar hopping Thursday (yesterday) and stopped by 3 Aces. Saw a face that I recognized from BSD, Lupe. At first I did not recognize her but she approached me, the sign of a true pro. They know the gringos not only have money but are willing to spend it.

By way of information she is the girl that ALWAYS dresses in black and looks like the Elvira (vampire) girl that used to be on TV. Very attractive with model-like looks and big lips, nice figure medium breasts and great legs. Got a CBJ for $40. Her English has improved so it just goes to show that the girls that work at BSD pick up the language especially after a few years of work. Intersting that she asked if I was still seeing Alicia. I like the Samil $23 for a king size bed and garage. limited room service but who rents those rooms for room service. For higher end hotels nearest is Colonial, across from Fiesta Inn (do not recommend Fiesta Inn as heat doesn't work).

BTW, I generally travel by car. Take a taxi as it is cheap. Mexicali is not TJ

I believe the best way to travel in mexicalli is to drive in yourself. It is very safe and no comparison to TJ. I buy my insurance at Sanborns for $25 for two days at Sanborns in Calexico.

I like hotel Samil as it is only 2 miles north of bar El Establo and 4 miles to Harra's, Pajaritas, and Giau Giau's which are all in same block on corner of Benito Juarez and Lazaro Cardenas. Also a couple of months ago I stayed at a motel a block north of Lucene. Nice and clean and I am not sure but they seemed to be chica friendly. Also bar El Esablo has small but clean rooms and are chica friendly. makes it real convienient if you take a chica from their bar next to the motel. You can bring any chica you want. I brought a chica there from Harra's once.

I have been reading the Mexico posts for sometime, while waiting to become a regular member, so I could relate some of my experiences. I finally got the regular member status. Funny, because I just walked in from an excursion down South for a little fun. Started out in Los Algodones today, visiting the Bar Olimpico. It's only about ten miles from mi casa. Lo and behold, while I was sitting there, 3 major players from work walked in with their husbands and I did the busca. They were still adjusting to the dark bar, so I hope I got away clean. I like to keep my work and mongering separate.

What to do, what to do. I got back on I-8 and drove straight to Mexicali. I parked at the pay parking lot as described here, for three dollars. Walked across, hailed a taxi and said "La Zona, por favor". I landed in front of Mieu Mieu or what ever its called. I walked in ordered a cerveza frio and got busy watching the ballerinas. About the fourth girl, I knew I was hooked. Her name was Naomi. I had planned to have a couple cold ones then go to BSD, but "the boss" couldn't wait. I paid doble for what I usually pay in Algodones, but minus the room fee. This was fine, because Naomi is fine. All in all, a pleasant trip.

Most workers are present from Thursday through Sunday the best times for their work. Many, such as Alicia, work Tuesdays through Sundays. Since Alicia is popular many of her customers take her out on dates and she is not available. Remember all of this is a JOB TO THEM and that is it.

Alicia generaly works Wednesday through Sundays, again she was not present last night. You might try this Tuesday as she will likely need the money. I noticed that Mexican women live for the moment and if they have money they spend it with little or no planning for the future go figure.

BTW I went to BSD to see what was happening and arrived Sunday night around 6:45 p.m. with only 5 girls present no Alicia. Around 7 p.m. a few others arrived and I counted a total of 11 in the room and maybe 2 in the bano at 7:30 p.m. when I left. Two other gringos present one spoke with a Southern accent.

1. Cross CLX POE and bear left (straight) and turn right at PEMEX station which is MEXICO St. One block to the upscale joints (Miau Miau, Ole and Madonnas)

2. The other upscale bars are on the end of town such as Harrahs. See Joe Arturo post around page 7 or 8 for directions. Go straight past the Walmart, on left hand side on rode to San Felipe.

3. No strippers but Hotel Lucerne and other hotels have some nice bars that older women 35+ frequent.

4. Don't know about LaMosca think it is on road across from OLD Coca Cola plant on Justo Sierra, turn left and about 1/2 mile on left hand side.

La Mosca is a fairly new bar in Mexicali owned by the same owner as Madonna and Mas Morras. Mas Morras has recently been remodeled and has changed its name to Las Amazonas.

To get to La Mosca, at the POE go straight on Madero (Follow the signs to the aeropuerto). You are heading for Blvd Justo Sierra. As you go straight eventually there will be Alto signs and signals with streets named Calle A, Calle B, etc. After the Alto sign at Calle K, the next signal is Justo Sierra. There will be a large "Corona Agencia" sign in the air on the left side of Madero. Turn right onto Justo Sierra. You will cross the following intersections:

1. Brazil on the left and Reforma on the right.

2. Las Americas on the left and Zaragosa on the right.

The next major intersection is referred to as "Aviacion" but has a name like "Qualemotec" or something like that. There is a Carl's Jr. on the Northeast corner. Turn left here and La Mosca is two or three blocks on the right hand side of the street.

Haven't done anything there in over a year as the pickins were dismal IMHO.

Girls quote 100, go to 80 or less for a good and full 1 hour or longer. Bar fine was $5. Place has older chics in mid 30's to early 40's and had some classly looking hispanic women.

Most who work there take their time and want your repeat business i.e they swallow w/o a glove, my kind of woman. Some work the circuit and travel from city to city, some are locals.

Interesting question. It depends and YMMV. MM has good looking strippers and mimics strip joints in the US. There are young beautiful women at MM and to partake one first goes to a back room for a take off on a table dance. I believe many of the women work the circuit i.e. there are pro strippers/workers most are surgically enchanced who travel from Mexico City, GDL, PVR, TJ and other large cities doing their thing. I take clients to MM as a warm up especialy young men in their 30's. The eye candy is wonderful.
I do not know current prices but they are high compared to other local bars. I estimate an out the door price of $150 or so, it could be cheaper or higher.
BSD is different. There is now a new group working there. As to number it varies from 7 to 15 depending upon the night. On weekends I have counted up to 22 women. The women are younger now.
My overall opinion is that the young women have a kid (or 2), the guy splits and she is left to support the family. Literally there are hundreds of young beautiful women in Mexicali working on the side especially on weekends. Mother watches the kids and daughter puts on the makeup, dresses up with an uplift bra, well you know the rest of the story.
Prices at BSD are $50 + 20. I believe that work is down at BSD as the locals don't want to pay the $20 for the room. I have noticed that the hotel owner has raised prices a few times and $20 is a little high considering what one gets - a bed that has been severly used and the showers are missing heads (no bun intended).
What is the best answer to the Question? If time is short I would stick to BSD. If you want 1st class and are willing to pay then go to MM.
Jack hits the bum bars and gets tanked up cheaply. There are a large number of bars in the area of Morales/Lerno and surrounds. Establish a CP (command post) i.e. a table and start drinking. Buy a pack of Marlboros even if you don't smoke (marlboro rojo in spanish) and set the pack on the table before you. The women will come by, many asking for a free smoke. When you see something hot ask them to dance or buy a beer. It's so easy and cheap. If that doesn't work or time is limited go to MM or BSD, the stable.

Did a Saturday night in Mexicali. Miau Miau had an interesting strip show, but OK just for a couple of dancers, nothing interested me, and then time to move on. Mutha Foo is exactly correct. The best Chinese food in the world is at Nuevo Mandarin, a couple of doors down from Miau Miaus. And super economical. Thanks for the tip. Now, on to other appetites....

At the end of Juarez are two hotels catty corner; The 16 de Septiembre, and the Nuevo Pacifico. Checked out NP first. About 5 SW sitting inside hotel entranceway, all between 4-6. Not to my liking. Went over to 16dS, and saw about 15 girls, between 4-7 sitting on inner stairway. Took a 7, and cost 200+50 pesos for about 20 min. (always use peoso, as you end up with 10% rebate). OK attitude.

Went to BSD and sat for awhile. My wingman, Big Nana, found a honey with close to GFE, including bbbj. I saw some lookers, but didn't take one. Not that many girls, around 15 working (5-7)with 5 in the bar at any one time. 500+200.

Las Amazonas used to be called Mas Moras. They changed the name when they remodeled it. It is owned by the same people that own Madonnas, Las Casonas and Las Moscas and it is definitely a strip club.

El Estabalo is one of my favorite places. It is much like Bar San Diego inasmuch as it is connected to the motel whose rooms are used for our favorite purposes. And for the last year in my opinion the selection has been better at El Estabalo than at Bar San Diego. There is one price which is 700 pesos which includes the chica and the room for 40 minutes. You don't pay anything to the girl. In El Estabalo once you have picked your girl you go to the receptionist at the motel, give him or her 700 pesos and the girl's name. They will call the bar and the girl will meet you at the motel reception area. Another great thing about El Estabalo is that after all of the bars in Mexicali are closed, you can to the motel at El Estabalo and most of the girls will be hanging out in the parking area of the motel waiting for business. Same deal 700 pesos for 40 minutes. El Estabalo is located on the North Side of Lazero Cardenas a little bit West of the Coca Cola facility. As you go East on Lazero Cardenas, hang a U Turn at the Coca Cola building and El Estabalo will be on your right hand side. If there isn't parking available in front of the bar, you can park in the motel parking lot also.

I appreciate your response about the stable. I know the deal at the stable and have been going there off and on for a number of years. My question goes to quality which is subjective, how is the quality? I notice about a year ago that quality had gone up (younger chicas, all types) but it is still hit and miss during early week and marginal early evenings.
As to BSD, I agree that BSD has been gradually going down hill for years. I remember BSD in the late 80's when it really jumped with beautiful women. It was like a small Adelita's without the loud music and crime problems one faces in TJ. Cheap beer and easy women, my kind of place. Agree that the stable starts later and I have seen the quality going up and the women spend the time i.e. GFE in many cases. As the old saying goes - you get what you pay for and pay for what you get.

I realized that you already knew the story about El Estabalo, I posted all of the info for the benefit of other readers. Like I said, in my opinion, the quality has been better at El Estabalo than at BSD for about a year now. Better selection and more GFEs. Of course El Estabalo does not have an Alicia.

I have not been to Harra's for a couple of months now. But when I was there, tlhe quality was extremely good. Of course, you have to start late there or you end up spending too much money on "Copas Damas". I like to get there late to avoid the bar fine.

Ah, Mexicali in the late 80's and early 90's when Samarai was the place to be. The quality at BSD went up when Samarai closed when the girls from there moved to BSD.

The heat is starting to rise, which means that a lot of the better selection will be moving to TJ for 3 or 4 months. But I still prefer Mexicali to TJ even in the raging heat of the summer. I guess that I have become a Cacanilla.

I took a trip this afternoon to Mexicali. I live in Yuma, Az and decided to follow Jack's advise and visit there. I had no maps, no addresses. Just what I remembered from the posts. My meager Spanish found my way to "La Zona" and a seat at the Playboy Club. I had wandered around the block first and saw the full scene.

Cold A/C, it was by the mall and we fucked around and she fell asleep. I guess she was real tired. This old goat had to spend the next 4 hours in bed next to a beautiful young girl. When she finally woke, I drove her back to La Zona. We parted and I made the run for the border. Garita Uno was a 20 minute wait. I had minimal problems on the return. I was in my car, declared to Customs I was a US citizen who had lunch with a friend , and after a cursory inspection was allowed back into the US.

Medusas- Super high class Titty bar. Very upscale unbelievable sound system. Take the first right at the border and the bar is just down one block. Right on the border. I have friends who live in SL. They say the owners have alot of movement of new girls in on some sort of schedule between places all around Mexico. Like Blue eyed blond Russian girls? They have them. Expensive

Booby Trap-Lower class Titty bar- Cheaper, nasty girls who want to come sit in your lap, grab your package, ask to to get your finger wet. Not too far from the border crossing. Maybe 5 blocks left on the first street.

Paradiso Masaje- Good bet during daylight hours (after 3:00 pm) Too expensive for my taste. 40 for masaje, $100 for the rest. Good selection, also changes frequently. About calle 17 and Obregon (Obregon is the first street in from the border running East and West). Purple neon sign. Paradiso is on the south side of the street.

La Cascada- Two blocks further East on Obregon. Calle 19, North side of the street. Doesn't open till about 8:00 pm. Girls start showing up after 9:00 it's pretty good. Not as nice as the new club Medusas, but it's a good Titty bar.
FS to be had, you have to negotiate. I hear there is a hotel next door owned by the club which goes for $30 (not all night). I have never tried this place.

Sorry you had a bad time in Mexicali. Since you stayed at the Reforma and went to Miau Miau, I am surprised that you didn't check out Madonas or Kaos (the old Ole Ole).

Both of these clubs have a good selection of chicas (generally) and seem to have a more friendly environment. I have had great success at both of these clubs.

IMHO, you went from the sublime to the rediculous going from Miau Miau to Playboys. There are several more clubs in the vicinity that are, quality and price wise, in between Miau and Playboy.

I hope you have not written Mexicali off as a destination and the next time you go, I would recommend visiting the following clubs:

Sorry about that bad experience, sometimes that comes with getting you feet wet. Think about all the out-of-towners you have seen in Los Al that have made similar mistakes or had similar experiences as your recent trip. A few more trips and terrain analysis will help. I agree with Joe and have a few more suggestions. Try BSD. It has gone down hill a little but still offers a good selection. All the girls are pros. If in the zone try Gallo Giro or Tres Aces (3 Aces) even Los Cordobes.
As to covered parking places email me and I will do my best to provide a few suggestions. Hotel Reforma is not that bad of a choice for beginners. I really like Mexicali but have been there several times but not in summer. I want to bop down there in the next week or so for a couple of days. I usually stay at Hotel Lucerna and seem to always end up at BSD.

Hi Dave,

I try to stay away from Miau Miau, Enfierno (used to be called Extremo), Las Casonas, etc. because all those chicas want to do is separate me from my money as fast as humanly possible.

You might try Excalibur (new name for Bar Pajaritas) or El Estabalo as well as BSD. There is a beautiful chica at Excalibur named Sandra with real long hair and another beautiful chica there named Elizabeth that is 22. A guy named Martin works there and he speaks perfect English.

El Estabalo is a similar setup as BSD with a motel as part of the bar. The rooms are better and have better AC and porno on the TV.And lately there has been a better selection at El Estabalo. Reading past reports may help. So many questions. Here goes. BSD is my fall back position, if all else fails I go there. Have been going to BSD since mid 80's and maybe it is my opinion but I feel it has gone down hill. By that I mean the selection has narrowed or that I have done most of them. The good thing is that the girls are pros and if you ask for a good BJ you should get that. Do not hold back it is your money and they are there to please you. Have not been to BSD in 10 days. It probably has not changed.

I have standards and if I do not find what I want or desire I don't partake. Suggest starting in the zone. I like the bum bars like Gallo Giro as a quart of Pacifico is 20 pesos. Mexicali does slow down in the summer but not really that much. Most workers are single mothers with no means of support other than working on their back.

Things start later so start after sun down or slightly before. Border wait should be shorter. Last night around 7:30 I only spent 12 minutes in line when a few weeks ago the wait was over 1 hour (less travel from San Felipe)

You could try BSD around 6:30 or 7 p.m. when the girls arrive. Sometime that strategy works best. Like anything else YMMV.

After you cross the border and go through the checkpoint turn right on the main one-way street that goes all the way to the old POE. After a few curves you will come to a major intesection which is a main drag named after someone named something Morin (I don't remember his first name). This main drag is also known to the locals as Periferico and it goes all the way to Costco which is on the far south end of Benito Juarez.

You will cross a major intersection where there is a Burger King on the right. Next you will cross a major intersection where there is a Ley store on the right. The next major intersection is a bridge (I don't remember if the bridge is blue or green). The bridge that goes over the main drag that you are on is Lazero Cardenas. As you go under the bridge get in the left turn lane and turn left on the little onramp that is right after the bridge. This will merge you onto Lazero Cardenas going East. At the Coca Cola building hang a U turn. El Estabalo will be on your right side as you return Westward on Lazero Cardenas.

I was in the zone Tuesday night and even at the Gallo Giro it was good. Saw 3 girls that were do able probably for cheap. I sat at the bar downing a quart of Pacifico and just waited. The girls just come and go. Would clasify them as 4 to 6's and I have high standards. One thing about the zone - I do not think the bar matters that much, the girls come and go like sharks looking for fresh meat, men with money. So just pick a bar at your comfort level and wait.

Have not been at BSD in weeks. Have not been at Gato Negro in a while. It used to be good and I would opine that one would have to wait and see.

So with all of the foregoing what is the rule? Most of the time do not go too early in Mexico. Wait until just before dark and sit and wait or find a bar to fit your comfort level. Also, it is now hot out there so wait until the sun goes down.

Personally I would stay away from the high end places unless entertaining your friends that want to see some tits. My focus has always been getting the pussy as opposed to watching it.

Waiting until 1 or 2 or closing. Frankly I do not have the time or inclination to do that as I like to start early. From my experience buying drinks until that time or fichas is not cost effective especially when I see how many these girls consume. La Taberna is one of my favorite places for taking a date in Mexicali. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights the live band is really great. It is un grupo de rock se llama el signo. I have been to El Establo and the other place (used to be Bar Parajantas sp???) On that occasion on a weeknight, I did not see anything of interest. I will try them again on my next trip.

This trip the bellman had trouble finding a taxi since my usual cabbie was sick. So ended up at BSD and with the same spinner. back in the early nineties, i used to be a tj regular: head down to spend a few lazy hours in the zona norte, drink a few beers and eat some proper mexican tacos, then head home. while i was in town, though, i would also stop at any of several farmacias and stock up on prescription meds that were either expensive or unavailable at home. always declared my holdings at the border, was never given any trouble on either side.

by the late nineties, though, i was fortunate enough to be set up with a health plan that would cover bloody well everything imaginable prescription-wise with no complaints and a tiny deductible. i was working my hind end off to justify said comfortable employment, and fell out of the habit of going south.

now i'm back to where i was more than ten years ago, and wonder if a case can be made for taking a trip, not only to enjoy the local diversions of mexico, but also to go medical shopping while i'm there. not getting any younger.

but i can't say that i am in any hurry to want to go back to tijuana. every report i read out of there these days indicates that the policia are pretty much out of control with shakedowns and hassles. this makes medical bargain shoppers a tempting target. apparently, while many pharmacies will sell you prescription meds without the script, actually possessing said articles without the paperwork is illegal under mexican law.

bingo! yes, that single viagra in your back pocket can trigger trouble if you can't prove that a mexican md prescribed it. and i have heard comments from people who did take the time to purchase _con receta_, where the cops simply took the scrip paperwork away, accused them of holding illegally, and demanded bribe money.

the pharmacists themselves are often in on that racket. on top of worrying about counterfeit medications, a significant concern these days, one also has to worry if the guy behind the counter is going to shop you to a cop once the purchase is made.

and then after running that gauntlet, one must get home! us customs at the san ysidro crossing have apparently gotten a bee up their butt post-9/11, and are now gaining a notorious reputation for hassling american nationals who come back with medication. even elderly people with proper prescriptions for noncontroversial items, prilosec and suchlike, have reported confirep001ions by surly agents.

mexicali sounds much calmer and friendlier than tijuana, based on a lot of the reports here, and it sounds like a better place in many ways to find temporary companionship. so how is it with regard to medical shopping, and for returning home after purchasing meds? or should i just stay home and grouse and think of the good old days?

Astonishing, the degree to which doctors have become auxiliaries of Big Pharma. One of my elderly relatives turned out at one point to be taking *fourteen* different meds. Some of which had been prescribed by different MDs who did not communicate with one another, and some of which were frankly incompatible for simultaneous use. Nearly killed her. She was a bedridden zombie with a side table covered with little bottles.

We went through and eliminated all but the most necessary, and paid a lot of attention to her general health regimen: simple, stupid things like warmth and hydration and sleep and walking. Got her down to four and finally to only two prescriptions (the only two where eliminating them had measureable adverse effects). On that reduced regime, she did vastly better overall, and continued in that state for another couple of years.


It is hot out so you might want to wait until late September.

Friday evening I took a client and a co-worker on a little trip to the zone. Of course because of its notoriety, the client was interested in Meou-Meou. I was more than happy to oblige his request and in we went at about 7:30pm.

As usual, the place was hopping. Lots of first rate chicas, 7s, 8s, and 9s. When we were seated, a great looking chica was on stage and I saw my first bit of audience participation at this club. Went the other day on my normal sojurn and I needed some gas and checked PEMEX prices. Thought gas might be cheaper in Mexico as prices rising rapidly in U.S. By way of example, one local U.S. station raised prices $.20 in two days which is about normal from what I have seen and heard via media reports. Mexicali price was 66 pesos a liter and I did a rough conversion and it equates to about $3 a gallon, the same price as in U.S.
On the good side, it appears that the dollar is recovering slightly against the peso.
Talked to locals and they said the going price for pussy (ones at Gallo Giro) was $10. I guess the economy is really down this summer, all things slow down this time of the year and will not pick up until mid October or so. The hookers are deparate so come on down as the price is good and will remain good especially if gas prices remain high. The issue becomes can we afford the trip!

I think you meant 6.6 pesos per litre instead of 66 pesos per litre. 6.6 pesos times 3.8 litres per gallon divided by 10.5 pesos per dollar is $2.39 per gallon. I saw it at 6.06 pesos per litre (that's $2.19 per gallon) last weekend at a Pemex on Zaragosa a little West of Justo Sierra.

Border Gasoline Sales Up; Wider Economic Impact Uncertain


Not long ago, Mexican motorists crossed into border cities like El Paso or
Laredo to fill up their gas tanks with cheaper US-priced fuel. Anecdotal
reports from the US-Mexico border suggest the opposite is now happening as a
still- unknown number of US bargain-seekers head into Mexico for relief from
record-high prices.

"The people are no longer traveling to Laredo to buy gasoline, because it costs
them more, on top of using up gasoline and paying the bridge tolls," said
Hector Pena Saldana, the president of the Gasoline Station Owners association
in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. "Now it's the people of Laredo who are crossing
over to Nuevo Laredo to fill up and we have to take advantage of that 100
percent," Pena said.

Recent reports from Nuevo Laredo, Ciudad Juarez and Nogales estimated retail
gasoline sales in recent weeks increased between 10 and 20 percent, depending
on the city. The trend began well before Hurricane Katrina struck the US Gulf
Coast, picking up pace as regular price hikes hit US pumps.

Gasoline prices in US border cities hovered above or around the three-dollar
per gallon mark by the start of the Labor Day weekend holiday, but retail
prices in Mexican border cities, which are pegged to the national Mexican
market instead of the U.S. one, were as much as 41 percent cheaper. Sergio
Parra Tapia, the director of the Ciudad Juarez branch of the National
Organization of Petroleum Distributors, said price differentials between Juarez
and neighboring El Paso, Texas, widened from 14.7 percent in mid-August to 40.7
percent at the end of last month.

In Reynosa, Tamaulipas, an official for the national Mexican oil company Pemex
discounted gasoline shortages due to rising US demand. Pemex spokesman Genaro
Elizondo Rosales said the company was working to meet the market upturn.

One factor working against an even bigger cross-border, gas-buying spree
is the reputation of Mexican gasoline as having a lower quality. Alfredo
Ponce Fernandez, the president of the Gasoline Dealers Association in Nogales,
Sonora, insisted Pemex does regular quality checks of gas stations but
acknowledged that border consumers prefer to purchase higher-quality fuel on
the US side. Periodic reports surface in Mexico of adulterated gasoline being
sold to unsuspecting customers and sometimes damaging automotive engines.

Mexican border gas and oil industry representatives expressed optimism the
upsurge in retail sales at the pump could give a shot-in-the-arm to other
economic sectors, enticing drivers to do other shopping and spending while in
Mexico. On the flip side, a recent poll conducted in the US border state of
California revealed counter-forces undermining prospects for a broader, border
economic boom.

A survey of 465 people by the Field Poll found that 60 percent of respondents
were using their vehicles less to travel. One group of polled Californians, 54
percent of people earning less than $40,000 dollars annually, said they had cut
back spending on food, clothing and entertainment because of gasoline prices.
Almost half of the people sampled in the poll, 47 percent, blamed the gasoline
crisis on President Bush, while 58 percent blamed the oil companies.

Friday night was good. All the girls were out including the younger ones. It is still hot as to temperature and the prices are low as the women need the work.

Hit the zone a little before 6 p.m. to start a buzz. Gallo Giro was normal and nothing remarkable. Went to 3 Aces and it had all kinds of hot chicas. Like anything else in the Zone quite a variance in types from young to 40's but the overall quality was excellent with the best being an 8 out of 10.
I noticed that around 8 p.m. selection was excellent and when the men did not dance or otherwise partake many hot chicks split for other unknown places. By 9 p.m 3 Aces was not that hot.
Being a gringo is OK. I was approached by many. Turned most down just because of personal preference or my mood at the time. I did notice that many of the locals were either cheap or not willing to pay the women's demands. Guys were offering $10 for 1/2 and 1/2. You know the response.
Again, being a Gringo is OK and money goes farther in Mexicali.
Went outside and watched the girls working the street. Saw Yadira, a girl with massive tits whose pics I have previously posted. Declined her and hit other bars.
Weather has finally changed with evenings being nice and cool so it is time to hit Mexicali.

Entered Mexico at the border crossing #1 last Friday at about 7:30 pm. I had a new experience, as my vehicle was picked to be searched by the Aduana. The officer was courteous and polite. After a cursory search, I was back on my way.
I booked a room at "La Reforma". After freshening up from the trip, I headed over to the zone. Had a couple of beers at Playboy, looking at the dancers, and the girls coming in and out.
About 9:30 I decided to go out and take a stroll to scope out the scene on the street. Went around the block first to see who was there. Ran the gauntlet of the boy-girls, then saw the hotel cuties. They were out in full force. Lot's of girls everywhere. The weather is finally nice again.
At precisely 10 minutes until 10:00 I met "Maria". I had been standing kitty corner to Playboy and Gallo Giro, when she approached me. She engaged me in small talk and I asked where she was going. In a matter of fact

Once we hit the hotel things changed. I paid her the initial price she requested, and after we had consumated that agreement, she asked if we could go eat. We hit a taco stand next to Hotel Mexico. I watched as this little 100 pounder put away 4 tacos de tripas, smothered with beans and all the fixings. With her hunger satisfied, she asked if I was staying in Mexicali ,if she could spend the night.
So it was back to the Hotel. We didn't retire until after 4:00 am. The next day, we got up around 1:00 pm. She asked to go eat and off we went to a little loncheria. We had caldo de res, and she added two quesadillas, and two tostadas de res. Man, this girl could eat. I joked about it and she said she hadn't eaten in several days. It became apparent that this new arrangement was based on needs and wants. She asked if I would buy her a pair of tennis shoes, so off to the big "Plaza de Quahilla"? She found a pair of tenis she liked. $199.00 pesos. Once she got the shoes, she was happy, so it was back to the hotel.
We didn't leave the hotel until about 11:00 pm when she got hungry again. She took me back to the zone and to another little place. This night I watched her polish off birria de chiva, chicken, quesadilla, and more caldo de rez. I sat in amazement as she slowely devoured everything.
After the meal we walked down the street. She stopped at a little open faced shop and asked if I would buy her some fingernail polish and hair clips. I spent another 20 dollars for a little bag of goodies and it was back to the hotel. We spent the rest of the night alternating between her doing her nails and in her renumerating me for the "regalos". Quid pro quo.
The next day we got up early. 11:00 am. I told her I needed to get back home. We went and had breakfast and when I went to drop her off at her hotel , she said that she wanted a picture taken of us first. We went to a pharmacy and had a photo taken. It cost 5 dollars, but the look on her face was priceless. I took her back to the hotel and we said our goodbyes. I departed with her cell phone number after a promise to see her again in a couple of weeks.
All in all I spent about $80.00 dollars on her minus the meals. I don't even count that as it was with much amusement I watched her eat. So it was back to the border after an extended weekend in Mexicali. Wow. A very nice trip this time. The weather was nice and so was the time spent.

Yes Mr. Mexicali Jack. I had a great time in Mexicali. The reports here have been very helpful and with that info I am hopefully on the downward end of the learning curve. I know tastes vary. I have had some little fun with the hotel girls. Way to wham bam thank you maam for me. Not my cup of tea. My Mexicali cherry may have been popped there, but that dog don't hunt no more. So far, my favorite experiences have been with a couple of street girls who wanted the extended stay attention.

I would really like to find the hotel just north of the big plaza east of the zona central again. It just mistifies me that I can't find that place again.

As to hotels search on INTERNET for mexicaliturismo.com. Hotels are listed by star rating. A good 2-star hotel is Hotel Samil, $26 for TLN, king bed, clean room with marble large shower. Hotel is on the way to the new Coca-Cola plant and toward El Stablo, another bar/hotel to frequent. I love Mexico - hotel is off main drag and concealed parking. Garage on first floor to conceal the car from spouses and the room is upstairs! This should save you some time in you quest for a good hotel. Try it.

I spent last week in Mexicali (as I do every other week of the year). I arrived last Friday afternoon and hooked up with a friend of mine that was just there for the weekend. We went to dinner at Los Arcos (the absolute best Mariscos restaurant in Mexicali) and headed out for the night. Started out at Bar San Diego and chatted with Castillo for a while. I don't normally buy copas for the girls in the expensive clubs as I feel like it is like flushing my money down the toilet. For this I watched my friend go through his money like a drunk sailor while I enjoyed the eye candy on the dance floor.

All of a sudden a chica came running over to me and said in Spanish "If that guy over there comes over here, tell him that I am your novia and that I don't speak Spanish." I looked over and saw that it was my friend Juan that works for the government. His job is to go to all the bars in town and check that the girls there have current health cards (prostitution licenses). I told her that I can't tell him that because he is my friend. He comes our way and says "Hi Joe, is she with you?" I told him yes and he said "Have a good time but be careful with this one." I met him about a year ago while he was checking for health cards in one of the bars. He knows that normally when I am with a gal in one of the clubs that she is my date and not working at the time.

Juan left and this gal went nuts. "How did you do that?" she asked. I told her that I live every other week in Mexicali and have gotten to know most of the people that work in the bars and that frequent the bars including the health card inspectors. I asked her why she didn't have a health card and she said that she arrived in Mexicali 2 weeks ago and had not had time to get one. Well she sat with me for about 2 hours and never asked for a drink. She had her clothes off and I had my hands all over her. She did several free table dances and a free privado. She wanted to fuck but I told her that I don't do that sort of thing with chicas that don't have current health cards. She said that she would have one next time I came to the Mosca.

It sure helps to learn Spanish and get to know the players in Mexicali instead of just knowing the chicas. A gringo that speaks Spanish in Mexicali is like a king.

We left and headed over to Excalibur (formerly Bar Pajaritas) just before they closed at 3:00 AM. I saw Glenda there and asked if she needed a ride home. I had discovered by chatting with her the last time I was in Mexicali that she lives real close to my house there. She said sure and we headed for home. I droped my buddy off at his hotel and proceeded to take Glenda home. She said that she wanted to drink some beer but knew that the stores don't sell alcohol after midnight and that all of the bars were closed. I told her that I had a six pack of tecate light at my house and she said that if I didn't take her to my house that she would kill me. It was real hard to turn her down. We went to my place and the rest is history. Glenda doesn't have the best face in the world but her body is to die for, she has a great personality and is a great piece of ass. It is great to get to know the hookers in Mexicali because if you play your cards right and invest the time to get to know them, you get laid for free.

I made a date with Glenda for Tuesday night to go to dinner and dancing at LaTaberna. Tuesday night arrived and I went to Glenda's house to pick her up for the date. She said that her roommate Marimar wanted to go with us. I said that two girls is always better than one and we headed out for the night. We went to dinner at Los Arcos and headed for La Taberna. Glenda said that they wanted to go to the Playboy for a little bit before La Taberna so we went to the Playboy where Marimar works and where Glenda used to work. What a blast! I have lived every other week in Mexicali for about 2 and a half years now and the people that I have met and the experiences that I have had is really paying off. This was by far the best week that I have ever had in Mexicali but for some reason I think that it won't continue to be the best week for very much longer.

Went to Mexicalli Wednesday. Drove from Phoenix.

First of all for anyone driving on Interstate 8 be careful from 25 miles East of Yuma to Yuma. Saw at least 12 highway patrol and 4 people pulled over.

This was one of my most memorable trips to Mexicalli in many ways.

I drove and purchased auto insurance at Sanbornes. Then headed in to Mexicalli and decided to stay at hotel Samil. At 6: 00 headed out to Gallo Giro and 3 ASES. Dead as a door nail. Even stopped at Playboy club. Had a few at Taberna then headed to El Establo. Not bad. There were 6 or 7 chicas all in the 5 to 8 range. I had a couple more cervezas and decided to grab a bite to eat.

Went back over to 3 ASES and nothing. Real dead nite. Then I noticed Lupe outside 3 ASES whom Jack talks about. Went to Kennedy for $10 and $40 for Lupe. All positions and I would say a 6 for performance. Lupe really enlightened me about the girls (or so called girls) at the doorway to hotel Kennedy. The going rate is $20 and you do not have to pay them on the spot. You went through a "gringo" bust which is any stop with CA or AZ plates. You do not have to pay on the spot and I always ask to go to the police station. They generally will let you go because they make so much money on the stops. Also, look at their badges and name tags. Many impersonators. I used to pay years ago and stopped doing it. Sometimes if they ask for taco money I give them $5. I don't speak Spanish so that helps.
One time I started following the car to the station and just before the station they stopped and asked for money and I said no. They let me go. The cops are intemidating but be a little macho and stand up for your rights. Believe it or not the Mexican constitution applies to all or that is what I have heard.

Jack is absolutely correct. 200 pesos is the going rate (even for DUI). If I haven't been drinking and if I have the time, I always follow them to the Comandcia and 9 times out of 10 they stop before the station and ask for money and I say no and they let me go. The other times, I end up paying a real fine at the station instead of giving mordida to the pinche patrula.

If I have been drinking, 200 pesos usually works except around Christmas when 400 pesos is the going rate. The police in Mexico don't get paid a very big salary and need the mordida to live a little better life. They also stop Mexicans for mordida as I have been in several cars with Mexican friends with Mexican plates when the police have stopped us. But the big target is plates from AZ and CA.

I always have a 200 peso bill alone in one pocket so that they don't see the rest of my money when I end up paying the mordida.

Stayed at hotel Posada in the civic center area. $56 for double per night. Not a bad deal and nice big rooms, but I still prefer hotel Samil.

Hit centro area both nights and not impressed again. Maybe I need to hit Gallo Giro bar a little earlier as it was full both nights when I arrived at 7: 00 and had no where to sit.

Hit El Establo both nights and plenty of chicas available all from 5's to 9 's. First night I shot the breeze with a chica named Seville. Early 30's, could speak no English and wanted alot of fichas. I don't know whether or not the hotel clerks are playing tricks on weekends but their latest policy is to charge the $26 for 4 hours on weekends. I went there 2 weeks ago arriving around 9 p.m. on a Friday and got a call around 1 a.m. asking me to leave. Told them to pound sand and hung up. Call back saying they were calling police, I said go ahead and nothing happened.
As for girls leaving the stable I don't think they will do that but anything is possible if enough $ are on the table.

I decided to go Mexicali over Thanksgiving. For those who don't know, Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Mexico. It took me about 3 hours to drive from Phoenix, all this with scant traffic.

I crossed the border with no incident and there was a fork on the road. I took the right one, the one that says San Felipe. This road is Lopez Mateos, a road that led to my hotel the Fiesta Inn.

Forgetting and not knowing where all the bars were, I hired a taxi driver to take me to Excalibur, El Establo, and Bar San Diego. We went around the circuit and he charged me 200 pesos.

An easy way to get to El Establo is take Lopez Mateos until you hit an over pass. Stay on the left lane and take the exit that says Nuevo Mexicali. This will lead you to Lazaro Cardenas. Go all the way until you see a sign saying Motel Samil, which is on the right. Go past that for about 2 to 3 blocks while staying on the left lane. You will see a yellow building on the left and this El Establo. You will have to make a U-turn to get there.

I also saw another bar, La Cabana, that was on Lazaro Cardenas. Feeling generous due to the holiday, I spent almost $200 at the place, which included taking a girl from Guadalajara to the back for you know what, plus buying her drinks. I got her phone number afterwards and we went out the next day, when I was able to partake for some non P4P action.

This is exactly why I stay away from Meau Meau, but I have never been quoted $350 for an hour. Do you speak spanish or do you appear to be a gringo with a lot of dough? My experience has been that the more beautiful they are and the more money that they want the worse they are in bed. The bar fine of $20 is pretty low. Most places in town charge $30. The most I have paid is $150 and that was for an all nighter. But the chica never mentioned money. I gave her $150 because the experience was well worth the money.

If you want to do an hour with a chica, go to BSD and pay for a double session. That would be only $140. Or go to El Establo and do a single 40 minute session for 715 pesos.

Meau Meau has never been a good experience for me (except for the eye candy). Like other places of the same caliber, the place is designed to separate you from your money in as short of time as possible.

Would it be best to get a room at BSD/Lucerna or El Establo? My friend likes BSD but has never stayed the night. Would it be best to get a hotel close to the border? Can I get a taxi at the border at that time of night? Also I have read about after hour bars but can't remember their names/addresses. Are there any? And what about the hotels with lobby girls such as Mexico, Altamirano, Nuevo Pacifico, 16 de Setiembre. Would you recommend staying there and getting a woman after hours at least on the first night?

Hey Fred. All of the hotels you mentioned are one star hotels/motels at best, except for the Lucerna. I wouldn't stay at any of them. The Lucerna has a very strict policy of no chicas in your room and they regulate it with security guards. It is practically impossible to sneak a girl into your room. Motel El Moro, Motel Mediteraneo, Motel Olympio and Motel Samil are all good choices. They are like having a suite at the cost of a regular room including a garage for your car with the entrance to the room inside the garage. Unfortunately by the time you arrive on Friday night (Saturday morning) they will all be full with couples doing their thing.

Before I rented a house here, I stayed at Hotel Calafia and the Siesta Inn both on Justo Sierra. When you register, tell them that your wife will be arriving later and make up a name for your wife, like Maria, Susana, Yolanda, Tania, etc. Hotel Calafia comes with a free breakfast buffet and the Siesta Inn gives you a discount coupon for their restaurant La Chalet.

By the time you arrive on Friday night (Saturday morning), the only action to be had will be at El Establo. The bar will be closed at 3 am but inside the courtyard of the motel their will be girls to be had until about 6 AM. They also sell beers and drinks inside the courtyard to be consumed there. The price of a girl and a room there is 715 pesos for 40 minutes which is about 70 dollars.

The quickest way to get to Mexicali from LA is to take the San Bernardino I10 Freeway to Indio. Take the 86S turnoff which is right after the Golf Center Parkway turnoff from the I10. On the 86S it is about 59 miles to Westmoreland. At the stop sign in Westmoreland turn right. This is State Street in Westmoreland but changes its name to Forrestor Road after you leave Westmoreland. It is important to know Forrestor Road for the turnoff from I8 on your trip on the way home. From Westmoreland it is about 19 miles to the I8. Get on the I8 towards Yuma. From there it is about 10 minutes on the I8 to get to the 111 South, which takes you through Calexico and to the border crossing into Mexicali. I have tried every route that exists to get to Mexicali and this route is the quickest.

It is not dangerous to drive your car into Mexicali. I don't know if any of the Mexican insurance places will be open in Calexico when you arrive, but you can always purchase your insurance ahead of time. Let me know if you want directions to Hotel Calafia or the Siesta Inn if you decide to drive.

By the way, the entire city of Mexicali is a zona. Every single little bar has working girls. The good places are spread out all over town and it is a very large city.

Since I will have convenient parking at the hotel I might drive directly there instead of parking on the U.S. side. And thanks for the advise on the Mexican auto insurance. I found some companies on line to purchase it from. However wouldn't it be easier to walk accross the border going home on Sunday? I've read the lines can be long there.

Thanks for the driving directions too. I looked at the map and your way looked like the best but two of the on line maps advised me to go the interstate route via San Diego. All interstate driving is boring. I will use your directions.

Agree with Joe to drive in MXL. It is fairly esay to navigate in MXL. If you take a taxi have a bunch of small bills as drivers NEVER have change so take like thirty $1. Lucerna is a nice hotel so if you sign in use a name as suggested saying that your wife will be arriving later. Clerks are bilingual at Lucerna.
Another choice is Hotel Colonial next hotel after Crown Plaza, most expensive hotel in MXL. Another choice is the hotel just to the right of Sanborn's (old Denny's).
If a newbie suggest going to BSD or El Establo. If you speak a little espanol the zone is good in early evenings but at your arrival time marginal. I would suggest hitting the zone late Sat afternoon like 5 p.m. and start getting tanked up, the girls will be there just be polite, dance with them and buy a drink. It's so easy.

The Interstate Route via San Diego takes about an hour longer than my route. Believe me, I have tried every way possible to get to Mexicali. I don't know if it would be easier to walk across the border on Sunday as I have never tried it. You can anticipate about an hour wait in thel line of cars to cross on Sunday unless it is a 3 day weekend which will be about a 2 hour wait. The line of cars are Americans going home from Mexicali and San Felipe and Mexicans going to Calexico to shop. Sunday is the only day off of work for much of the Mexican population.

I don't know if it is possible to make reservations at Motel Samil. It is the type of motel that you go to and pay the guy outside. I have never registered at Motel Samil. I have always gone there for the $25 for 4 hour deal and Friday/Saturday night it books up in a hurry. Maybe someone else on this board has registered there for more than the standard 4 hour stay.

If you treat everybody with respect I am sure that you will have a great time in Mexicali. Unfortunately, I will not be here on the weekend that you are coming. Otherwise I could be a tour guide for you.
