Can anyone recommended a good massage place in the area of the Crown Paradise?I stayed there for years. Haven't found one nearby that offers extras, but if you want a legit massage there is a good place about 30 yards south of the entrance. It's called RCS, Reliable Care Services. Ask for Lupita, 50-ish, but she does a fantastic job. Often teases the boys.

From my experience the spas in PV are not bashful about telling you the range of services available but there will not be any signage. If you walk in and they don't explain those options it is probably legit and you should try the next place. So don't be bashful ask about the menu. If they say lets go to the room to discuss, fine, that means it is an extended menu.
I may not make it this year please post your experiences.

And your hotel would be a short and safe walk. The Malecon area with restaurants and shops is a short walk north along the beach walkway. Romantic zone is also ground zero for gay bars so don't be surprised it you walk to one of the spas at night and look in the popular watering holes it will be elbow to elbow dudes. The Malecon further north pre covid has live music on many nights and coed dancing mostly salsa. Viagra is available over the counter and my pick of the pharmacies in MX is Farmacia Guadalajara. There is one in the Romantic zone. There is another cluster of spas near the marina but that is much further north.
I spent 2 weeks in PV last year and enjoyed walking / eating / drinking around Malecon and the Romantic zone almost every night. Your hotel is convenient if you don't mind walking. If you want to venture out further Uber is readily available and cheap.

I just got back everything is open and normal. No Damage except for a few roads which the Taxi and Uber drivers know how to go around.

It appears that things are changing in PV, it is not clear if the phrase sex workers applies to street walkers or massage parlors. This is the area north of the Romantic Zone and south of Marina and Hotel zone. I have a trip planned this winter. Boots on the ground reports will be useful. GF.Been in there, it's like a sit down sports bar with chicas. They will come to you and you can buy a drink and chat with them a bit before agreeing to a price and taking them to a smash room upstairs. As someone noted it's right next door to Aqua, and a location the chicas come and start work there in the afternoon and then make their way over to Aqua for the night. Unless you specifically like the music and lights of a strip club, I rather take the chicas fresher and in more lighted surroundings and a chill atmosphere in the bar. Now the prices are all steep. I updated the map. Apparently I got the location of the new Sahara club wrong. The facebook page for Sahara is a recycled copy of the Enigma page, which was previously Bandidas and Chicas and El y Ella before that. Its my first time visiting this coastal resort city and I have to say I really like it. I normally spend all my beach and sun visits to Mexico in Q. Roo, the Caribbean side of the country. I decided to rent an airbnb on the hillside of the 5 de Deciembre barrio. It's within walking distance of centro and the malecon. By Far the Best place is Vallarta Message at the Marina, cost some Uber wise to get there but by far worth in, large selection even in middle of day.

Buses are 10 pesos and will take you along the main coastal avenue. I arrived Saturday but spent it exploring my barrio and the malecon. I found 3 places and two are the brothel bar type and the third a saloon type bar with chicas to drink, dance entertain you like the days of old.

I'll also add that for the most part I've found hobbying in PV to be pretty disappointing. Rarely do the girls look like their pics, and almost none of them are reviewed. The best I've found are the "massage" shops in the marina where you can pick out your girl and get a menu of the offering like you're ordering at a restaurant.

Speaking of the Marina, I went back there after striking out with Lolita. There is a place amongst the shops that will do full service for 3000 pesos if you're interested. And you have to pay extra 300 pesos for a motel if you can't receive them in your home / hotel.

I went there a few years ago. Not sure it's still working.
It's on the East side of the coastal road going North from downtown, a few miles North of the cruise terminal and airport. There was a run down sign of a bull ring on the right hand side of the road. Right before that sign is a dirt road going East. About half a mile in you would see a walled in compound with a dirt parking lot in the center and about 10 bars surrounding the lot, backing against the wall.
I found then about 5 or 6 bars were operating with different themes, one sports bars, one traditional can can ect. I went there a couple times, both day and night times. At night that area was pretty dark, no street lights, no taxis. The bars had girls, some in sports clothes, some in can can dresses. I was able to negotiate sessions for about $60 in the girls' rooms behind the bars or next to them.
Ask taxi drivers for La Zona Roja or Zona Tolerancia. They would know.

I will say, there is one agency in town that has always delivered in a good way for me. Chicas ranging from 18-25, always into everything I've requested. I've been meaning to return to PV, but never seemed to get around to going back. Thus; I was on a mission! Just like the good old days. My last trip was in 2016.
Flight:
I flew Volaris round trip from Tijuana. I had no idea what the trip cost because I had to rebook the trip twice and each time the price was higher.
Note: I flew there and back only using my passport card. Passport book was not required!
I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back; I highly recommend CBX. CBX round trip was 31 bucks. CBX has grown a lot in the last two years; so many damn cars. But it did not seem like there were a lot of travelers. This time I filled out and printed the FMM before hand and that worked out well.
I recently found out the VIP lounge at the airport has its own entrance and security. So once you get in the terminal, you will see a sign showing the entrance, and then you head up the escalator to the lounge's security check-point. If you use the lounge, there is no need to go through a regular security check-point; good stuff!
Taxi to hotel and back to the airport: From the airport, I paid at the taxi booth 380; WTF? Back to the airport from the hotel, my taxi driver, Javier, took me and I paid 300 plus a nice tip.
Getting around town:
While I was in the taxi heading to my hotel, I chatted with the driver and told him I needed a ride to Sayulita the next day. Well, he had a brother that drives for Uber. He called him and gave me the phone and we set up the trip for the next day. The drive up to Sayulita was $35 bucks, and it was the same returning to PV.
I used Uber several times during my stay and had zero issues. On Friday night, I decided to walk from Taboo to Paradise because it seemed like a short walk; after 25-30 minutes of walking on crappy sidewalks, I gave the fuck up!
That's when I met my favorite driver, Javier. We agreed on an hourly rate and off we went. He found Paradise a lot quicker than I ever could. I rode with Javier for two nights and he dropped me off at the airport the last day. He is highly recommended and I have his number if anyone needs his service. FYI, he speaks very little English.
Communication:
I have the North American T-Mobile plan, so calls, texts, and the using internet were included. I communicated with hookers, restaurants, and drivers; either with regular texts, calls, or using WhatsApp.
Hotel:
I stayed at a boutique beach front hotel. I paid around $400 for three nights. It was a very nice hotel with a rooftop pool, restaurant (sandwiches and snacks), bar, and spa services. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I did have only one mix up with the dude that brought my suitcase to the room, but it was kind of my fault because I got lost in translation. I told him I needed some bottled water, as in tall bottles of water. But he started speaking in "meters" and that fucked me all up! It turned out he returned to my room with a butt-load of water on his shoulder; it was around 2 gallons. Another lesson learned.
I did not know if the place was "Girl friendly" or not. But I did bring in two different girls on two different evenings. But with each girl, I got them in the hotel very discreetly. I told the girls to text me when they were close to the hotel and I would come out to meet them. The girls were smart and did not dress like hookers. One wore a nice dress and the other wore jeans with a nice blouse. I walked by the manager with each one and he just said, "Hola."

This leads to a real problem since, when you get into a taxi and ask to go to one of our recommended inexpensive places, the taxi driver will tell that they are closed, that it's dangerous there or some other story. The real truth is, that he isn't going to make any money taking you there and since his average daily wage is 500 pesos, the 400 + peso commission is a big score for him. Be aware of this and if the taxi driver tells you that he won't take you to where you want to go, get out and try another taxi!
It is also best to pay drink by drink since there is a chance that if you drink a lot and run a tab, it will be inflated. Ask to pay immediately after you receive your drink and make sure they bring back change. They are also notorious for just not bringing back your change!
In each club, I asked several questions and did my best to write the answers on my trusty note pad. Thus, if I am wrong with any of my notes, feel free to correct me. Because I drank various things in the clubs, I just wrote down the price of the cheapest beer. The fichas were various prices; I am quoting the lowest ficha price.
The first three clubs are in the Zona Roja. It is a small compound on a dead end road called Privada Politecnico Nacional. These clubs seem to cater to the locals. When I was there in 2016 and last week, I did not see any foreigners in the compound. A few girls from other clubs said the area was dangerous, but I never felt uncomfortable during my two visits.
Club: La 10 (formerly Vizzio).
Cover charge: None.

Bottom line: PV is a great place to visit. It has a great mix of people and lots of great food! Would I ever return to PV? Hell yeah! But I still have many places left to explore in Mexico. Should you go. Another Hell Yeah!

This is great advice no matter where you are, even the US. Find a restaurant or store nearby and use that for Uber / Lyft etc. Get picked up for the ride home the same way. All over the world you will get charged extra if the taxi is taking you to a mongering experience.

So I have been reading this forum for a couple months now with the plan to be in PV shortly. My take on it is that choices in PV are limited. There are some escorts available and some massage shops offer extras but not all of them and aside from a few in Zona Romantica there are not many recommendations. Does that about sum it up? Hey I'm going to be heading down to Vallarta with next month. We'll be staying in Old Town. Don't think I'll be able to have anyone come to the place I'm staying. Wondering if anyone can recommend any good massage parlors, brothels, or escorts with an incall in the area. Or just any general advice on pooning in Old Town.
My last visit was in March of 2022. A few tips on PV. Pay to pay is legal as long as the only person benefiting is the provider. At the Massage joints I visited you can ask to "see the menu" and the majority of time they will have one printed. It will list masturbation, nude masturbation and intercourse as the three levels of service. They will often have two versions of the menu US dollars and Pesos. I've always found the peso version cheaper. They will often have it under a towel at the counter up front or tucked away. Was there recently and went into Bar Tarazza around 2 am. There were again only a few people there. One table was taken by three guys, and another table was taken by three older, heavier gals. From my experience, I would go with the two main agencies that often post ads in.

My experience is about 5 the door is open. I did have some pretty good luck a few years ago at that time. Not always a lot of girls around that early.
