A newbie here. Been lurking for a few months and finally took the plunge.
I've been visiting PV every April for the past 10 years, and never knew there was so much to "see". I usually stay close to the marina, and never knew about LOS Anatorches until I came here. Will definitely check it out in a few months. I'm not really into spending a lot of time or money at the pricier clubs, nor do I stay up all night anymore.

* Excursions: Best excursion and best value of anything you can do in the Puerto Vallarta / Nuevo Vallarta area is go see Rhythms of the Night! You leave the marina in Nuevo Vallarta at 6 or 7 in the evening and return at 11 or 12. You book it through Vallarta Adventures which I will provide a link to. It is a Cirque de soleil type of show with a fantastic dinner buffet. I give this excursion 5 stars. The price is all inclusive, open bar, dinner, and show. I will also include a Trip Advisor Review link.

I have seen the show possibly 25 times, as anyone who visits me in Puerto Vallarta I have to take to it, as it is the best value and entertainment in all of Puerto Vallarta. I never get bored of it, because they change the routine of the show quite often.
*Girl Entertainment: During the day King George is your best bet. It is only 5 minutes south of the airport next to the stripclub Aqua. I know you will love it, as it is a classy, quiet place where all the girls are dressed in normal clothing, but clothing they would wear to go to a nightclub. The rooms are located the floor above the bar, and are very nice. They also have jacuzzi suites. King George portrays itself as Sports Bar. I would stay far away from the escort girls from PV Escorts or on the Craigslist Ads since you do not know the girls, as most are very mechanical. There are few exceptions. It is right across the parking lot" (which we knew, we'd been to Vizzios a few times) he told us that we could get in free at Vizzios that they don't do the cover charge like Tapankos does, but Vizzios will still give the taxi driver $200 pesos to bring folks there, especially gringos. That way, our cab ride there all the way from Old Town, about 20 min, was free. We went in and had beer. Spent about ten minutes with some girls there. Then we headed over to Tapankos once we made sure the cabbie was gone. Honestly, It was about 1 AM and while Tapankos did have around 30 girls. The good ones were all busy with their guys. Tapankos is mainly Mexican clientele like Vizzios BTW. The locals won't pay the inflated prices, so you'll save money here and if you hit it at the right time there are some real hotties. To tell you the truth, I didn't enjoy Tapankos that much. The talent pool had been picked over too much and the place really isn't a nice place to hang out without some talented female company.

Headed out with my best local Mexican buddy last night to see some of the strip clubs in Vallarta. Some we had been to before but we started out headed to Tapankos in the Zona de Tolerencia. We told the cab driver up front we wouldn't be paying any commissions to him. Meaning we planned to pay no cover. (they charge you and give the cab driver a slice). He actually offered up a good plan and hey I am all for everybody being able to make a living. He said, "why don't I take you to Vizzios instead. It is right across the parking lot" (which we knew, we'd been to Vizzios a few times) he told us that we could get in free at Vizzios that they don't do the cover charge like Tapankos does, but Vizzios will still give the taxi driver $200 pesos to bring folks there, especially gringos. That way, our cab ride there all the way from Old Town, about 20 min, was free. We went in and had beer. Spent about ten minutes with some girls there. Then we headed over to Tapankos once we made sure the cabbie was gone. Honestly, It was about 1 AM and while Tapankos did have around 30 girls. The good ones were all busy with their guys. Tapankos is mainly Mexican clientele like Vizzios BTW. The locals won't pay the inflated prices, so you'll save money here and if you hit it at the right time there are some real hotties..Very nice report and would love to take you on a party tour sometime so if you have personal message capability send me your contact information so when I return to Vallarta I can contact you. OK went to PV as stated in earlier posts and just got back. The good: Thanks Old Parr for excursion ideas. Rhythms of the Night was outstanding. Show was awesome, dinner after words was terrific. Beautiful with all of the torches lighting up area as you arrive on boat. Show far surpassed me and my wives expectations. Think we paid 109 each or something close but it was money well spent. Even the boat ride there was great. Drank a lot on way there and enjoyed open bar. Staff was hilarious and did this KISS tribute show on way back which was really funny. This was the good! The bad: Second day there we went on the Outdoor Adventure tour. Awesome. Great zip lines and had a ball. Was going great until we were all the way at the end and there is this huge water slide they have you do. You actually put on a helmet with a mask and elbow guards. When wife was getting out of slide she slips and twists her ankle. Not just a little twist. She couldn't walk back to jeep and spent the rest of the vacation in a wheel chair! We had to have a doctor come to the RIU and check her out. Lucky not broken but damage was done. So. No chicas. We were going to take advice and go Sunday night to King Georges for some fun. But obviously not possible. On the bright side we loved Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta. We for sure will return. Next time will try Georges. I would say after numerous trips to Mexico PV was our favorite. The people were just so much nicer then most vacations we have been on. On a positive will be in Curacao in 2 months! Will be making several trips to Campo and enjoy the ladies there! Thanks again for info Old Parr. Also invite to Georges from Ezie which we were planning on doing that Sunday night. Happy Mongering!

If you're driving south into Vallarta you turn left at the bull ring street just before Galerias Mall (Liverpool) and drive all the way to end to where the OXXO is. From there it's kind of hard to explain how to get to maybe the map on their Facebook page would help.

Believe me, they want your business, and they need it. Daytime options are very limited, King George, Las Antorches, and Botanas is about it, and in Botanas I have never found even a average looking girl. They are old, fat and ugly, bottom of the barrel. Only thing left for you to do is try to arrange a date with one of the girls when they are away from work. In King George the girls work a day and nighttime shift, and the girls for the most part rotate between them. You might try the ads in the local newspaper, but I am strictly a bar person, and have never called escorts, as it is not my thing. A person with no knowledge of the Spanish language can get by, but your experience is not going to be that great if you cannot communicate with the person you are with, unless you have that charisma and attitude that can counter act your lack of the language.

Just keep your sentences simple and do not use slang terms. It gets the job done. In the meantime, start learning some Spanish. LA opens early (around 9:00 am) and closes early (around 6 pm) every day. If there is a cruise ship in port, there is usually only one, and it is unloading people early in the morning. Certainly, there are more girls in LA on cruise ship days. I would see 6-10 on those days, but not that many mongers at any one time. On non-cruise ship days, that number would drop to 3-5. But the asking price was the same either time, I. E. , 800 pesos plus 200 for the room in the casa down the back path. But you can still negotiate that down because the girls don't want to be sitting at the tables at any time. I negotiated a two-girl session for around $80 US and it was spectacular. No time limit and you can get the culo for a handful of extra pesos. So my experience has been a great deal regardless of whether there is a ship in port. The owner / manager of LA takes the first 500 pesos, then you comp the remainder to the girl in the room. Cut your deal in the bar, then tip extra for a great session if you want. The girls here also always enjoy having a beer with you before or after the session. The rooms in the casa are very basic, with a couple of towels and small bath with shower. Queen bed, sheet and small fan. Usually cold water, but a mutual lather and rinse with the chica (s) is always fun to start off the session, and you can scrub their pussies and culos if you are going to DATY. Great afternoon here in King George! My friend Karla let some of our mutual friends know what I time I was approximately arriving, so I was very surprised with the greetings I received upon my entrance, clapping, the hollering of party time, and the calling out of my name! Nice to be greeted in this manner especially in a bar such as this. Also several of my friends who work at night in Aqua are here to get the party started with me! Airfare out of Tijuana: I flew Volaris for the fourth time out of Tijuana. The airfare was around $230 round trip. I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. See my earlier report the CBX for details.
Taxi to hotel: There was a taxi stand in the airport for tourist and it cost 300 pesos. My hotel advised me to cross the street and it would only cost 150 pesos. It was the same cost returning to the airport.

I stayed in south downtown PV, a block for the Malecon at the Hotel Rio. The hotel was $260 for three nights. It seemed like a family hotel, and I never tried to bring a girl back to the room, so, girl friendly; not sure.
Friday afternoon, there was a group checking in the hotel, it seem like as least 100 people! The hotel has a small pool, and how that entire group got into the damn thing is beyond me. I love to sleep late, but Saturday and Sunday the pool noise was off the chart! Women screaming at children, children screaming at other children, it sucked! The restaurant that surrounds the pool is called, "Coexist," go figure!

"When you get into a taxi and ask the driver to take you to a place with girls, you'll get led to one of these places and the taxi driver will receive up to a 400 peso commission and you'll end up with an empty wallet! The real truth is, that he isn't going to make any money taking you there and since his average daily wage is 500 pesos, the 400 + peso commission is a big score for him. Be aware of this and if the taxi driver tells you that he won't take you to where you want to go, get out and try another taxi!
It is also best to pay drink by drink since there is a chance that if you drink a lot and run a tab, it will be inflated. Ask to pay immediately after you receive your drink and make sure they bring back change. They are also notorious for just not bringing back your change!"

First area: Colonia 5 de Diciembre. Calle Guatemala, especially on the corner with Boliva. The girls would not approach the car, so I got out of the car and walked and talked. I talked to 4 chicas and was quoted 200-300 pesos for one hour, plus the hotel cost.
Second area: Romantic Zona. Colonia Emiliano Zapata. In front of Hotel Enerdira. Calle Naranjo. I did not get a chance to go there, but one of the taxi drivers confirmed that there were SGs available.
Erotic Massage: There was a few places in Old Town on Calle Basilio Badillo. I tried to check out at least two of them on Sunday. Coni Spa, my first choice was closed; maybe because it was Sunday.
Across the street was Kinich Spa. I went in and asked about a massage with a happy ending hand job. The jefa told me it would be 1000 pesos for an hour, but I could not touch the girl. Fuck it, let's do this! It was a very nice hour indeed.
Overall thoughts on Puerto Vallarta:
I really enjoyed what this city had to offer. From the beach to the clubs / bars, I really liked this city!

As far as the strip clubs, I thought the prices were outrageous when compared to Tijuana. Yes, there were a lot more options, but the clubs were quite pricey for drinks and chicas.
Either way, I really enjoyed my time in the city and felt safe walking and exploring the city.
Would I ever return? Hell yeah, I already booked my next trip!

The best trip report ever posted on the Puerto Vallarta forum, and one of the best I have read in years on the entire ISG. I could never take the time to write down all the information he did, or would I remember it due to having fun and drinking to much of my Crown Royal Whiskey and Tequila Tradicional. Tomjackin and I were in contact daily during his stay via whatsapp, and he actually did my bar tour of cantina bars, beach bars, and strip clubs that I do daily and nightly when I am in Puerto Vallarta, unless I choose to go to my favorite normal nightclubs called Strana or La Santa. The only place he missed was a Sports Bar called El Torito which also has a Sportsbook located inside of it, and is far and the away the best Sports Bar in all of Puerto Vallarta.
As much fun as he had, it will be double the fun when we do Puerto Vallarta together hopefully in the very near future! I also have to inform the forum that he met one of the best looking and nicest girls you will find anywhere in the world in my office "King George". The girl wrote the book on being a sweetheart, and they both treated each other very well. I am here for the next two days before leaving to go back to Santa Marta, Colombia, S. A on Thursday. I will be returning in July, but first I have a week long trip to enjoy the beautiful beaches and waters of Cancun the first week in July, along with all the nightlife and beautiful women that is offered in that city.

Airfare out of Tijuana: I flew Volaris for the fourth time out of Tijuana. The airfare was around $230 round trip. I used the CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. See my earlier report the CBX for details.
Taxi to hotel: There was a taxi stand in the airport for tourist and it cost 300 pesos. My hotel advised me to cross the street and it would only cost 150 pesos. It was the same cost returning to the airport.
Hotel:
I stayed in south downtown PV, a block for the Malecon at the Hotel Rio. The hotel was $260 for three nights. It seemed like a family hotel, and I never tried to bring a girl back to the room, so, girl friendly; not sure.
Friday afternoon, there was a group checking in the hotel, it seem like as least 100 people! The hotel has a small pool, and how that entire group got into the damn thing is beyond me. I love to sleep late, but Saturday and Sunday the pool noise was off the chart! Women screaming at children, children screaming at other children, it sucked! The restaurant that surrounds the pool is called, "Coexist," go figure!

"When you get into a taxi and ask the driver to take you to a place with girls, you'll get led to one of these places and the taxi driver will receive up to a 400 peso commission and you'll end up with an empty wallet! If you have to go in a taxi, either make it clear that they are not receiving a commission (and tell the doorman that with the taxi driver present so there is no misunderstanding) and they won't charge you the cover charge. They charge that to recover the big sums they pay the taxi drivers to bring clients! The best way to avoid problems with the taxi drivers is to have them drop you off a block or so away. This will eliminate any chance of confusion.
These expensive clubs survive by paying the taxi drivers to bring them a continuing supply of new clients. They need this since most don't come back after finding out how expensive they really are. This leads to a real problem since, when you get into a taxi and ask to go to one of our recommended inexpensive places, the taxi driver will tell that they are closed, that it's dangerous there or some other story. The real truth is, that he isn't going to make any money taking you there and since his average daily wage is 500 pesos, the 400 + peso commission is a big score for him. Be aware of this and if the taxi driver tells you that he won't take you to where you want to go, get out and try another taxi!
It is also best to pay drink by drink since there is a chance that if you drink a lot and run a tab, it will be inflated. Ask to pay immediately after you receive your drink and make sure they bring back change. They are also notorious for just not bringing back your change!"

La Botana Bar is another P4P cantina bar next to the offices of Telecable in downtown Puerto Vallarta and they are open from 11 am to 1 am I believe. This is a takeout only place, a dive bar like Las Antorches, actually Las Antorches in better.
The cantina bars such as Mesa de Coco, Bloody Marys, Mar (e) Tierra are open from 10 am until 10 or 12 at night.
All the beach bars Tomjackin mentioned such as Burros are opened obviously in the morning and close at 9 or 10 pm.
The street walker scene begins around 4 pm in the area of Colonia 5 de Diciembre. Calle Guatemala, especially on the corner with Boliva. (Downtown Puerto Vallarta) and a couple blocks from La Botana Bar. The other street walker area mentioned by Tomjackin starts are 5 or 6. There are only a few that hangout in this area. Mesa de Coco and Bloody Marys are also in this area of the city, walking distance actually to one another.
For escorts you can contact me and I can give you the contact information for my friend who runs girls that also work in King George, Aqua and those upper type of places. As Tony1010 mentioned it is 1800 pesos for one hour, and you can get a discount for longer periods of time. These girls are very beautiful.
The table dance bars and the nightclubs stay open until 5 to 6 am, so this is the reason things get started later in Puerto Vallarta.
I would plan some tourist activities during the daytime hours, or spend the day at the beach. Do not expect to find much girl action in the bars, as Puerto Vallarta is not like that. If you want daytime girl fun it is in the dive bars I mentioned, or in King George which is a relaxed upscale bar, (It is actually called a Sports Bar) or call my friend. I would also suggest on your first night that you get some phone numbers and set up dates for any future days you are going to be in Puerto Vallarta as it will be much more cost effective for you. Puerto Vallarta is an expensive city to play in, but so much fun! If you are like Tomjackin or myself who do not mind spending money when we are on vacation then you are going to leave Puerto Vallarta with some everlasting memories, but if you are on a tight budget then Puerto Vallarta might not be the place for you, unless the quality of the girls is not a major importance to you. I also have a couple of girls who are very good providers, older in there 30's but good good looking, but not like the knockouts you would find in King George or through my friend, and I am willing to share there information with you if you promise discretion. They will provide very good service for approximately one hundred dollars and stay with you for a longer period of time at no charge if you they are comfortable with you and you want to have some drinks or company at lunch / dinner.
If you indeed go, have fun and enjoy all that the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta has to offer. The report by Tomjacklin says it all, and the pricing you can expect to pay. The malecon (boardwalk area) is a must for any visitor to experience especially at night. It tends to get lively around 8 to 9 pm.

A big thank you to Tomjackin for covering Puerto Vallarta (PR) so well. And thank you for directing me to his post. I've cancelled my plans for Cancun and instead looking at PR flights.
3 things:
1.) Club Aqua, Taboo, Candy's and Harem are on my must visit list. Should I add anything else?
2.) What are the options for an overnight companion in the room? To me the clubs are good for a quick pit stop but I also prefer to have a warm body in bed at night. Is that an option in PR? Or is it best not to have a companion in the room?
3.) On the hotel front. How is the Marriott, or Hyatt? Will I make a mistake if I choose to stay at a resort over something like Hotel Rio?Everything is basically covered in the post by Tomjacklin. As far as overnight guests goes, check with your hotel. There are also several good short time hotels / motels that are close to all of the P4P places that are not that expensive and are really nice. You also might consider a condo from VRBO / Airbnb. I also can recommend you several lower option smaller hotels that are not listed on the travel broker websites that are in the area of 50 to 60 dollars a night. With you being in Puerto Vallarta just for a couple of days I would go the condo route or checkout one of these smaller hotels. I am not a fan of the major hotels unless you are going to use the amenities that they offer. Air conditioning is a must in any option you decide on as the weather now in Puerto Vallarta is very hot and humid.

It is the perfect area to be in. If you elect to go the condo route let me know as I will see if I can get you a discounted rate, as I rent condos from the rental agent (Jeff) quite often for friends and family members who come to visit. Jeff is also a really good guy.
Recently returned from a short trip to PV. Thanks OldParr, TomJackin & John Dough. Without you guys and the board, I would not know where to go, how much to pay and what to do. In a nutshell PV is cool. My fav & most frequented joint is the Kings Bar. Easy & Cheap drinks. No pressures. The girls give a true GFE. Ooh can not wait to return.
Side note: I got myself a Unifone sim at the walmart for 200 pesos. That gave me internet. Also exchanged $$ at the Walmart. Got a much better rate than what I was offered at the airport.

It's a few blocks from the beach and there's a great breakfast and lunch restaurant right beside it. There's also a small pool in the hotel. Last I heard you were allowed to bring an outside visitor up to your room without any problems.

I believe that the best area to stay in PV is the Zona Romantica, in one of many small inns. A place I have stayed twice, and can recommend, is Estancia San Carlos. If you book a double room, it's guest friendly, they have a small but nice pool, and there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance. It's maybe 4 blocks from the beach as well. Posada Roger is also good, but the rooms are bigger and the pool is better at Estancia San Carlos.

By semi-guest friendly, they will ask for the guest's ID, and they will give you grief if you bring in more than 1 different guest during your stay. The Sheraton is closer to the Malecon than the Westin and Marriott. If you do want to go that route, you can get one of those 3 places for cheap rates (like $50-60 a night) on Priceline. The first time I stayed in PV, I got the Westin on Priceline for $47 plus fees and taxes, and I stayed there for 4 nights before moving to the Zona Romantica. After checking out several smaller places in the Zona Romantica, the two I thought were the best were Posada Roger and Estancia San Carlos.

La Botana Bar is another P4P cantina bar next to the offices of Telecable in downtown Puerto Vallarta and they are open from 11 am to 1 am I believe. This is a takeout only place, a dive bar like Las Antorches, actually Las Antorches in better.
The cantina bars such as Mesa de Coco, Bloody Marys, Mar (e) Tierra are open from 10 am until 10 or 12 at night.

The street walker scene begins around 4 pm in the area of Colonia 5 de Diciembre. Calle Guatemala, especially on the corner with Boliva. (Downtown Puerto Vallarta) and a couple blocks from La Botana Bar. The other street walker area mentioned by Tomjackin starts are 5 or 6. There are only a few that hangout in this area. Mesa de Coco and Bloody Marys are also in this area of the city, walking distance actually to one another.

I went with this one since the reviews talked about how comfortable the beds / pillows are and looks like a nice place. (my last vacation in Tulum had bad pillows and bed so looking to avoid the neck pain this time). It seems there is no one up front after 9 pm so if I have a guest it should be fine.

Just got back from 4 days in PV. I really appreciate all the great info and help received here. You really do need to know where to go as it is not in your face as like some places. I stayed at Gardens del Rio and was a nice boutique hotel $54 us / night. I didn't bring anyone back but seems you could. Staff left at 9 and they were all cool. I had my own keys to the outside doors and even had a back entrance along the river to my room. Very comfortable place.

I won't give directions as this was covered in previous posts.

Just finished my latest trip to PV and just a few thoughts:
Someone earlier mentioned the club 4 Play (which used to be Diablitas) and since I was in the area decided to check it out. Its a tiny club and the girls aren't that great looking, though there are 1 or 2 decent looking ones if you can grab them. Yes, its true that there's no sex at the club but the waiter did tell me that you can take a girl from there for 2 hours for 3200 pesos. So if you do happen to be there and hit it off with a chica, there is apparently that possibility.
Tapanko is still far and away my favorite club to go to. There's always more than a few chicas that are hot and willing to please. There's an occasional dud, but hey that's life.
Vizzio was largely disappointing. I went on a Saturday hoping to see some of their nicer chicas but only one girl interested me and she was, unsurprisingly, occupied most of the night so I took off.
Coni Spa was a fun place, I was only a couple of blocks away from it so it was a nice stroll down and a decent deal considering there were some real cuties there.

I used to find it difficult to find pussy in PV. Now it is everywhere, just open your eyes and get acquainted with the area, both in PV and north by the Marina, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias and beyond. In the evening, give a look to Fantasy (off the first exit north of Nuevo Vallarta where the Chedraui Supermarket is located), Osiris Gentleman's Club (along Rt 200 north as you enter Bucerias. Chedraui on opposite side of highway.), and the club in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle (first row of businesses on right after taking the Punta de Mita exit from Rt 200). Mind you, all of these rates are negotiable. And you should negotiate. Throw this in with the other clubs in PV, the street scene near Guatamala, and a couple of massage places with extras, and you can fuck any time of the day or night with not a whole lot of time being wasted looking for pussy. In addition, I can tell you that the Mexican women that work legit jobs love men who show appreciation to them. I had several opportunities to take a few of these girls out for the day, and it cost only my time and expenses for meals, activities, etc. Learn some Spanish and use Google Translate. If you can become fluent in Spanish, the sky is the limit on range of adventures.

If you are staying in old town near the pier, you might see Rogelio driving a white van with number 085 on the side or parked in a sitio 4 taxi spot. You can ask any taxi driver in sitio 4 to call him.

I just returned from a session at the Vallarta Jacuzzi and Spa located not far from the Shangri La hotel near the marina area. A few years ago I paid 120 pesos from Zona Romantica to King George, which is in the same zone as Tapanko, but not as far. Zona Romantica to the airport (farther) was well under 200 pesos. I don't know the current rate. Most hotels have the rates posted in the lobby, based on their location with various destinations listed. If you don't see it, look in the lobby of the hotel next door or ask at the front desk.
You should always talk to the driver before you get in the taxi. Tell him you want Tapanko. If he doesn't know where that is, say Zona Roja. If he still doesn't know, find another driver. Then ask the price. Some drivers might tell you the place you want is closed, and they will suggest a different club where they get a commission. Just say no.
The area where Mamitas and Sahara clubs are located might be considered a second zona roja, according to this article:

Dropped by here for the first time today. It was a little after noon. I'm actually kind of impressed by the place; it's nicer than my straight massage provider's. There were 3 girls at the bottom of the stairway, and 2 more just a couple yards east, in a small courtyard with a table and a sign advertising it. They were all wearing matching, dark blue tops and jeans (uniforms) advertising Coni. Almost looked like a girl's soccer team. They were all early 20's, and 7's & 8's, IMO.
A cutie named Marisol lead me upstairs to a room. $350 for a massage, and other than that, she spoke no English. She did give me a decent, if not great, massage on the back side. On the flip, I asked if she offered "special services". First time I've asked that anywhere, and was hoping I wouldn't be slapped. She seemed a little confused at first, then asked if I wanted, "Happy-nice?" I said yes, and she showed me the prices on her phone. They were in stilted English, but still not completely comprehensible. #1 was he $850, #2 was Topless $1000. Three and four were harder to understand. I assume they were BJ, and then full sex. Didn't look long enough to catch the prices, but I opted for Topless. She had a nice rack and held them over my head for a few minutes, while she completed the massage. Then moved down to the HJ. Unfortunately, she blocked the small lamp doing this, so I didn't get much of a view in the dark. Other than that, I have no complaints. She was well practiced, and deftly brought me off with just the right amount of grip and pressure. Afterward, she provided me with a bottle of water, and I gave her a $200 tip. Very nice experience, especially for a first time there.

So had my first night out in Vallarta in about 2-3 years. Went out around 9-10 pm tonight and tried King George. Place was pretty dead. Got matched up with a very cute girl, roughly a 7, who claimed she was 24. Though she was sweet and spoke decent english, she was extremely timid and the entire time seemed like work, so I left after a few drinks. Headed to Disturbo because I had very pleasant past experiences when it was Prestige. Got there around 11 and I was only customer there. A very cute girl came by who spoke decent english and quickly made me forget the lack of activity. A tiny bit on the heavy side but had an ass that I couldn't say no to, so I bought her a few drinks. When I was ready to call it a night about an hour later she convinced me to do a run in the private dance room for 560 mx for 12 minutes which I couldn't say no to. Again, that ass (paid cash). Time in the room was amazing. No sex but DFK and when I pulled my dick out she grinded with enthusiasm over her thong. Again, that ass (ended with a 20 USD tip). I had to leave, but loved the time spent, and made plans to return tomorrow for some full service (can't remember the price) I paid bill with CC (yes I know), they appeared to show me bill through an iphone with a CC attachment that came out to about 1600 mx. After signing on phone they said they needed to take card and ID for photocopy. I leave get in cab, and then immediately get an alert on my phone that they tried to charge me about 32000 mx (roughly 1600 USD). Luckily AmEx is great and I immediately called and said not a chance. They denied the charges and all is good. I'm disappointed though, because I was looking forward to returning tomorrow for more, but they are now permanently crossed off the list. Tomorrow is a new day!

I have heard the same story when Disturbio was called Prestige. That is why you should pay as you go, not run a tab. If you do pay cash as services are rendered, the next scam to watch out for is the switch. You hand them a large denomination note, and using a sleight of hand trick, it becomes a 20 peso note once they take it from you. They claim that is what you gave them and you need to pay more. To counteract this, you should hold out the larger note, and before you hand it to them, ask if they can change a (whatever denomination) bill. This scam is even done at some lower priced clubs.
Just down the street from Disturbio is a small club called Andromeda. It is across the street from the Sheraton hotel, and around the corner from the bank. It became my favorite club because it was the only place I went where they didn't try to cheat me. They also had the private dance, but instead of 560 for 12 minutes it was 200 for 8 minutes (a few years ago). Earlier in the evening, the guy who keeps time would sometimes forget, and I often got 20 minutes before the knock on the door. Like a lot of clubs, the waiters do sometimes ask for a tip if you don't offer one. If you run a tab, 10% is added for a tip at most clubs.

Once again I had a tour client that went to Aquah and was ripped off. My client says that he and a friend are taken to Aquah by a cabdriver. The cab drivers do this because Aquah pays them a 500 peso commission for each guy. They walk in and are quickly ushered into a VIP room and brought Puerto Vallarta escorts and drinks. After only 2-3 hours they are presented with a $6000 US Dollar tab. That would be roughly 100,000 pesos. After many threats and much pressure from the staff my client and his friend bring the tab down to $3900 US Dollars. This is how they make their money. They inflate the tab and then threaten to call the police if you don't pay it (and since they pay the police, they will make you pay it). Aquah is notorious for this type of practice and does it regularly. So please people be careful when you go to these high priced strip clubs that dont care about you or if you return. All they want is to get as much money from you as quickly as possible.
Another way to avoid the scams is to avoid the strip clubs altogether. Just go to bars like King George, Las Antorchas, La Botana, Golden Boy and Los Corrales, or else the massage places like Coni Spa.

This was my first time at Harem's even though I come to PV a few times/year. This place was way way overpriced.. like Highway Robbery. I've been to tons and tons of strip-clubs all over the world and I have to say they kinda exaggerated on the prices. I can't even recall what my tab was but it was like "are you f** kidding me?" I bought maybe a total of 3 beers and a few shots and I couldn't believe my eyes AND I was completely sober. Jeez, I can't even imagine what the damage could've been if I were drunk!
We all agreed that Harem lacked the "WOW" factor. It was nothing special nor fun. The drinks prices were also quite high. We didn't inquire about the prices so when the bill came, we were in for a BIG surprise! 6 bottles of beer and 3 shots costs us almost $400 USD!
This place is absolutely terrible. $170 for 6 drinks. Pretty much double what the menus say on them. Our taxi drover dragged us here even though we told him we wanted to go closer to downtown. The cab driver who took us home said it was a cartel ran strip club.
$340 in drinks!!! They are not worth it!!! The club is hardly entertaining and I've seen much better dancing and nudity in America. I thought things would be more extensive here and HELL NO. Just expensive! I will never come back!

It is closer to Zona Romantica, where I like to stay. The prices were only slightly higher than Tapanko. They had a great lineup the last time I was there a few years ago. I had been going there every year for a long time and they never tried to cheat me like all the other clubs. However, I see on their facebook page someone left a comment that they cheated them. All of these scams are a good reason for newbies to take the red zone tour or else get Rogelio the taxi driver to take them. One time they tried to cheat me at a club on the red zone tour and the guide fixed it.
Another problem at the strip clubs is pressure to tip. I got to know one of the waiters at Andromeda. He told me he wasn't paid by the club. His only income was tips. That is probably the reason they pressure you to tip. Even the low priced clubs will ask for a tip. At the high priced clubs they ask you to tip the doorman, the waiter, the manager, the bathroom attendant, the guy who times your session in the back room and of course the ladies. In my early days I went to a high priced club and got a rude surprise. Even though I didn't run a tab, when I tried to leave I was surrounded by about 7 or 8 men who demanded a tip.

I have lived in both countries and as soon as dollars come out of someone's mouth, I am on to the next one. My guess would be that you can't speak any Spanish, and when that becomes obvious, the dollar signs appear above your head. You could always try paying in Ozzie dollars and feign surprise when the woman doesn't want to accept them.

OM.I assume you mean 5.66% or .0566, not 0.056%. Is that what your bank charges you to use an ATM? If so, that seems very high. Anyway, you've now learned that always and everywhere, one is more respected using the local currency. Whoever takes the dollars would have to take a haircut to change them into pesos, so from that standpoint, it stands to reason.

I generally frequented the red zone clubs. Tapanko and Vizzio. The times I initially went. Stayed away from Harem etc. And don't know much about King George and the other locales. I became close with and kept in touch girl at Tapanko (nice girl) and the last times I went spent time with her outside of the club for the entire weekends. We decided to party ways so now I'm getting back into the scene in a big way.
Anyone who will be there that weekend let me know and we can link up. Easy going 33 year old guy who likes to party and have a good time.

Ok, just got back from a quick trip to PV for a few days, and just thought I would pass on some thoughts. For you soon to be visitors, please refer to the outstanding lay-of-the-land summary by Tomjackin a few months ago. It is very comprehensive and written in painstaking detail. The logistics and prices were spot on correct, so I would refer you there for those details. I only went to a few places, so I can't comment on everything, but I just want to throw out some thoughts from a second set of eyes.
I visited King George's Sports Bar in the Marina. I can see why other people like it. It's a small bar, but surprisingly elegant inside, with a Victorian-era style decor. It is literally right next door to the Aqua strip club, which I did not visit. Its cozy, with a couple of TV's that are mostly showing soccer and music videos. On Friday night, they had a live band. I can see what they are trying to do with the place, and I like it.
If it is soccer that you want to watch, it would probably be on. But it is not a "sports bar" in the sense that they would show NFL / NHL / MLB games. If that is what you want, then I would recommend El Torito in the Zona Romantica. Its more of a traditional American sports bar where I was able to catch an NHL game.
Given the buzz that the bar gets here on ISG, I was surprised at how empty it was. There were never more than one or two other patrons each time I went. And I went on Th, Fri, and Sat nights. I did not go in the daytime. Usually 3-5 ladies, but those there were definitely attractive, all 7-9. My approach to this kind of thing, is that its not the quantity, but the quality. The only one that really matters is the one that you end up with. Believe it or not, what was more uneasy was the lack of other guys. Too much attention focused on you. It could make me feel too conspicuous and self-conscious, and if you say no to a girl, it's feels like too big a deal. It was sometimes too quiet, not enough chatter in the air. Usually the problem is too many guys, but here I would have been okay with another 3-4 guys in the bar just to loosen up the vibe.
The ladies were friendly, but professional. You have to remember that this is not a strip club, but more like an upscale singles bar, so their demeanor was appropriate. Sometimes I like it lively and raunchy, and sometimes understated. This is the latter. But definitely worth the time and resources. The place is run by a madam / mangera shorter woman who with dirty blond hair. She speaks fluent English, and has several "contacts" to check out on her phone if you desire additional or different company. She seems to run the place well. I didn't check out a lot of places, but of those that I did, this was clearly my favorite.
Later in the evenings, I did check out some strip clubs. The strip clubs don't hit their stride until about midnite, so it makes a good transition. There are three clubs that are literally right next to each other Tapankos, Vizzio, and Sahara. Seriously, the entrances face each other, and are about 30 yards apart. You could think of them as one complex. These three clubs are for locals. But I remember that when I was RTFF I was imagining this stinky skanky place, and they weren't. All totally clean, recently renovated. Think of an American mid-range strip club. Its in a type of industrial park region, but still very very safe. There is a well lit gas station at the entrance to the clubs. The prices are lower. Tapanko's, in particular, is a very popular place. Lots of local well to do's, though I suspect that most guys were there for the lapdance aspect, as opposed to something more advanced. The dancers here definitely had the heavier, bigger assed, Hispanic look, which quite frankly, is not to my liking. But if you are here to have fun with some buddies, this is the place. Vizzio and Sahara, despite their slightly more upscale look, cost the same as Tapanko, and for some reason that I couldn't figure out, were much less popular. But you can hop between clubs, as none of them have a cover charge.
The other "locals" joint that got some positive press on the forum was Mamitas. But this was the seedy boonies place that I had been dreading. Its at the end of some dirt road, with one of those cheezy lit signs with an arrow pointing toward the entrance. At 10:30 pm, zero patrons were there. I checked it out for 2 minutes, and left with the same taxi driver that took me there. He was smart enough to wait around, as he knew that I would probably not like it.
I did not check out the high end strip clubs. All the taxi drivers were really pushing Harem. But based on the price projections and cover charges that Tomjackin laid out, I didn't bother. I predicted paying the 250 peso cover charge, only to walk inside and find the club empty. You don't see a lot of people traffic outside to indicate that there a lot of people inside. King George gave me an idea of what the ladies looked like, as the girls there apparently cover both KG and Aqua. I didn't want to have my wallet needlessly emptied. 4 Play, formerly Mi Fantasia, is the only club in the Zona Romantica, but was dead empty on a Friday night at midnite. Since its so close by, if you are staying in ZR then definitely walk by and check it out, but don't make a trip out for it.
Overall, a good but not great punting destination. And I didn't even check out the higher end places, where all the so called "best talent" hangs out. The talent is certainly there, but its pricier, and the logistics can be a little complicated. That plus ripoff stories abound. In fact, I am curious as to why the prices stay so high. Except for Tapanko, all the venues that I visited or passed by were nearly empty. There seems to be a huge punting infrastructure for a market that doesn't exist. If the prices were lower, this would be an absolutely awesome punting destination. Instead, its just ok. But if you were thinking of heading there anyway for a nice beach or golf vacation, it's a good choice. Just make sure that you always pay in cash, and definitely always PAY AS YOU GO. Do not run a tab.
So just some other tips for would be first time visitors to PV:
Where to stay If your goal is for the beach and local flavor, then stay in Zona Romantica. The food is better, and the beaches nicer. Its also walkable and atmospheric. But its far from the "nightlife. " If you are there for golf, or enjoy a more stereotypical North American large scale beach resort, then stay in the northern hotel district, where the "nightlife" is. But otherwise, you will be on a soulless highway, cabbing it everywhere.
Massages Coni Massage gets mentioned a lot. They do "happy endings" if you request it, but it isn't creepily pushed. The masseuses are not as skilled as those professionally trained, but they try in earnest, and its hard to complain for $20/ HR. The facilities aren't great, but good enough. Quiet, cool, and acceptably clean. I went twice.
Food Ahh. If you are out to dine with friends and family, then there are great restaurants. But with a bunch of guys or by yourself, you want tacos. They are cheap, and the best part of Mexico. In ZR you can wander around, daytime or nighttime, and continually stumble onto a little taco stand with a bunch of locals waiting in line. Just go for it. I ate nothing but delicious tacos, and did not get sick. In fact, I never have. And I had to really stuff myself to spend anything close to $10. The best taco joint by far is Pancho's Tacos, near the southern end of ZR. When you walk by it, it may seem like a tourist, gringo oriented place. But its not. Locals love it too. There just aren't as many locals there because the line is so freaking long. But their tacos are better than the others by a mile. Even the other local favorite, El Carboncito, was inferior by a notable margin. The quality of the meat is just head and shoulders above the other places, where its diced into pieces so small that you can't judge their quality. And it costs the same as the divier joints. I tried a lot of places, but in hindsight, wish that I just went to Panchos every time, especially if you want pastor or some type of beef. If you want cheap seafood tacos, the best place is Marisma, on the eastern end of ZR. Great great camaron tostada.
Pharmaceuticals Go to Farmacia Guadalajara, in ZR on Insurgentes st. It's a big modern, chain looking pharmacy. But I price comparison shopped, and their prices are cheaper than all those grungier storefronts around town trying to rip off tourists, and I would trust their products much more.
Money ATMs are everywhere. But if you prefer to exchange currency like I do, your options are surprisingly limited. The banks give the best exchange rates, but not all the banks exchange money. I waited in line for a long time at HSBC, only to find that they don't exchange money. The best bet is Banca Azteca near the Ciule river. They are open Mon-Sat, until something like 9 pm. There aren't as many casa de cambios as in other parts of Mexico, and they posted crappy rates.

There are three clubs that are literally right next to each other Tapankos, Vizzio, and Sahara. Seriously, the entrances face each other, and are about 30 yards apart. You could think of them as one complex.
I have attached a map of the main attractions.I updated the map. Apparently I got the location of the new Sahara club wrong. The facebook page for Sahara is a recycled copy of the Enigma page, which was previously Bandidas and Chicas and El y Ella before that. I assume the owners of Enigma sold or closed the club that was located beside Mamitas and then opened the Sahara club in a different location. I don't know if Enigma has reopened under another name. If Sahara is in la zona roja, it must have taken the spot where El Patron (previously Alazanas) used to be.

I visited King George's Sports Bar. Usually 3-5 ladies, but those there were definitely attractive, all 7-9.
Tapankos, Vizzio, and Sahara. The dancers here definitely had the heavier, bigger assed, Hispanic look, which quite frankly, is not to my liking.
Except for Tapanko, all the venues that I visited or passed by were nearly empty.
The last time I was in Puerto Vallarta, the Andromeda strip club had better looking women than King George and a busier vibe. It is only slightly more expensive than Tapanko. I don't know why this club doesn't get more coverage. It is small and on a side street, but it was my favorite club. Most of the clients were locals, which is a good sign. Early in the evening there weren't many clients, but after 11 pm on a weekend it was always crowded, at least during peak season. It is a good compromise between the high end tourist clubs and the low end clubs.
I didn't even check out the higher end places, where all the so called "best talent" hangs out. The talent is certainly there, but its pricier, and the logistics can be a little complicated. That plus ripoff stories abound. In fact, I am curious as to why the prices stay so high. Except for Tapanko, all the venues that I visited or passed by were nearly empty. I have attached a map of the main bars in the streetwalker area. La Botana is a freelancer bar that is popular with the locals. I don't think it has rooms. Terraza Colonial is right where the streetwalkers hang out and supposedly has rooms for 100 pesos. If you don't see any streetwalkers, look inside the bar. Hotel Montes de Oca has rooms for something like 180 pesos for up to 4 hours. There is often a lone streetwalker in front of the hotel that is better looking than the others. The going rate for the girl is around 500 pesos.

If you are only interested in the best looking women but don't want to get scammed at the high priced tourist clubs, I would suggest that Andromeda is a good choice. I went there many times over the years and they never tried to cheat me, but of course I never ran a tab and I always tipped. They will charge you 100 pesos cover charge at the door if you arrive by taxi, and sometimes even if you walk there. If you go frequently they will stop charging the cover. It opens at 9 pm but don't expect much action until 10 or 11 pm. The last time I was there (a few years ago) they had better looking women than King George. At the time the price for 30 minutes with a girl was 1850 pesos at Andromeda, 1500 pesos at Tapanko and 2200 pesos at King George. All of these prices may have increased since then.
When I went to King George they had 6 women and 2 of them were fat. They were dressed nice but I didn't really find them worth the price. Andromeda had 15 women and only 1 of them was fat. In fact, they had some true spinners, which I like. I would estimate that 10 of the 15 were better looking than any of the ones at King George. However, that was also the best lineup I had ever seen at Andromeda. There is a constant turnover of staff, so the lineup can change frequently.
The club had become a bit old and worn out, but at that time they were starting to invest in new furniture. Based on the pictures on their facebook page, I would think they have continued to upgrade. They have some small rooms in the back that have a long and wide upholstered seating area. If you look at the pictures on their facebook page, the real pictures are the ones where the girls are kneeling on a couch with their ass in the air or standing in front of tables. If you see a mirror behind the couch, that is near the stage, not the back rooms.

There are some bars in Puerto Vallarta where women serve the drinks. Usually you can buy them a drink for about twice the price of yours and they will sit at your table and talk (Spanish only). Some of them might be available for takeout, but not necessarily all of them. There are a few around Calle Violeta including Golden Boy and Los Tejabanes. The last I heard it cost around 1100 pesos at Golden Boy for the barfine, the girl's fee and the short time motel. Other examples of this setup are Los Corrales and Las Princess. When I went, the women at Tejabanes were better looking than the ones at Golden Boy. However, one time at Golden Boy there was one really good looking one. I think the pictures on their facebook pages are representative of the typical lineup.

The P4P scene in Mexico is very time oriented and Puerto Vallarta is no exception. If you are at a strip club and buy some time with one of the "dancers" in the back room, there is a guy who times your session and knocks on the door when your time is up. Prices at strip clubs are usually quoted for 30 minutes, since it is most popular. However, you can get one or two hour sessions for more money and also 15 minute sessions for less money. If you like a quickie, you can get a short session with a good looking woman at a strip club for about the same price as a longer session with a less attractive bar girl. At some clubs the 15 minute session is around 1000 pesos in the back room. I even heard that King George offers 15 minutes for 1200 pesos. I believe Tapanko offers 10 minute sessions in the lap dance booths. The price a few years ago was 650 pesos. I think you have to do it standing up, but I'm not sure.
If you have never experienced Jaki in PV I would highly recommend her. Takes great care of me and is very reliable. She's not a young hard body spinner but she is incredible in the sack and a pleasure to spend time with. Highly recommend. Easy to find her on PV Craigslist and the pictures are real.
Kim / Serenita ads are all over PV Craigslist. While the pictures are representative of her they are not actually her, she says for security reasons. However, she is very attractive, has a pretty good attitude and has a huge set of fun bags. Just didn't hit it off with her, pay upfront, everything covered, kinda of a rush job. She does seem to be an independent but personally I would not repeat, especially at 2500 for an hour. As in any case YMMV.

I am in PV for 4 weeks every year, (timeshare owner) for over 20 years. Here this week with a buddy who is here for the first time. I have never been in any of the tourist strip clubs or bars. Too fucking cheap!
I have been recruiting victims, er companions, on CL for the past month. We arranged to meet with two gals at Motel el Pedregal on Mon. Afternoon (5/21). I had arranged an afternoon fiesta with Maya and her friend Melissa. We met at the hotel as arranged and rented a 2 bedroom jacuzzi suite, 860 pesos, (46 USD).
Ladies arrived as scheduled. Maya, on CL in a white bikini, was not the girl in the picture. A bit older, 40 maybe and bigger. Lucky my buddy likes big bottomed girls. She had a nice booty! Melissa was about 30 and looked like the girl in her ad. Bolt ONS but very pretty. I had negotiated for a 3 hour party at 4000 pesos for each lady (214 USD).
Brought along a jug of Herradura and ordered cervezas 30 pesos (1.60 USD) at the hotel. Beers arrived in a big bucket of ice. Gals declined the tequila but sucked up the beer. We paired up and headed for our bedrooms. Porn on the TV's added to our enjoyment.
Session included multiple positions, multiple pops, (thanks little blue pill) with everything covered. Buddy seemed to enjoy Maya and if the squealing was real she was having a good time, too. Melli was great fun. After a while we all ended up in the jacuzzi, got a nice massage, and back to bed for the next round. More squealing from the other bedroom made it hard to concentrate. Playing with Melli ended up with my head between her legs.
In my experience, Mexican women are very responsive to oral. I don't think the men go there. Girl went wild! I have observed this on many occasions, in Mexico.
Session lasted a little over 3 hours, we all showered and I gave them cab fare, 120 pesos. By the way cab fares are going up all over town right now. 60 peso ride is now 85 within one zone. From the Pedregal to Conchas Chinas, was 200 pesos (10.73 USD). I got Melli's number, and would definitely repeat.
Cruise ship just coming over the horizon, so we plan to hit Las Antorchas around 1 this afternoon. Probably won't session there, unless little head over rules big head. We will be arranging to meet later today or tomorrow for another long motel session. I want buddy to see Motel Blu.
I still have my list of volunteers to call if necessary. I have been mongering here a hell of a long time. Anybody who pays US prices for the local ladies is not doing their homework. Also stay away from the gringas. They all have Golden Pussy Syndrome!

I'll be arriving next week and staying at an all inclusive in Nuevo Vallarta for two weeks. While the location to stay wasn't my choice, and I understand it is further away from the fun. I would still like to sneak away and indulge during the day.
I have visited Puerto Vallarta several times, mostly on cruise ships and have had both fun and not so great experiences at Las Antorchas. The last time I bought my room steward a beer and gave him a tip not to say anything to my family. I wanted to do something different and tried to venture out on a recent trip and used an agency to send someone to meet me at Motel Blu. The Motel was awesome but the girl and agency experience were awful. I just joined as a paying member and have now read 20+ pages into the thread and stopped because some of the information was getting stale.
I definitely plan on visiting King Georges this time. But, would love to hear of any other daytime advice or tips to have a better motel experience. Anything new in Nuevo Vallarta?
I should mention that I've hobbied in Dominican Republic, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, PV previously, St. Martin, Mazatlan, Huatulco and a couple other places. I also speak only a little Spanish.
Any help I can provide others and / or advice you might have would be appreciated!

At night, Fantasy is just off the highway where your road meets it, and Osiris is just a few miles north in Bucerias. The craigslist girls like the short term hotels near the airport. All of these are withing 15-20 minutes if you have a car. Nothing specifically in NV, that I know of. Also a FS massage place on the marina that was recently reported. Other strip clubs are near the marina, I. E. , Candy's, Aquah. Too many people in your pocket at those clubs, IMHO.

I was short on time but found an incredibly gorgeous girl. Fair skinned, blonde hair, natural see cups, beautiful little ass. Her name was Melina. 30 minutes, plus bar fine, plus two drinks was 2885 pesos. Way more than I anticipated spending. I went for it because Melina was too gorgeous to resist.
In all, she was sweet and accommodating but it still felt transaction and not worth the $.

But most of us are confronted with time restrictions and possibly transportation restrictions. This spa would be good choice for those who are looking for something early in the day, as the shops at the marina are usually open 9-5. LOS Antorchas morning / early afternoon and King George afternoon, are the only good options for a quick hitter during the day. Craigslist options during the day still require correspondence and committed times, that can sometime go astray. Will be curious whether this place will be negotiable.

Very nice looking ladies that usually run around 2300 MN for 30 minutes which includes the room. Also a good place to go for a cocktail with the boys to just enjoy the scenery. I go there often and they have never tried the check padding or tourist ripoff stunts that some of the other more well know places occasionally try. I would highly recommend.
