I am chatting with 5 girls, all of them want to meet up with me in Havana, three of them already gave me their numbers.

When I mentioned money or gifts, nobody gave any quote. One clearly said she is interested in meeting new people and does not expect money or gifts.

I feel strange. Could this be some sort of scams? Are you texting them first?

I'm here in Havana and I have no answers or contacts on Badoo.

I'm here in Havana and I have no answers or contacts on Badoo. Two girls texted me first and after some chatting, they gave me their numbers and now I am Whatsapp'ing them.

I also initiated texting to about 10 girls, half of them responded, but only one gave me her number.

My trip is coming up very soon and I'm trying to find a FULLY independent and private casa particular in Vedado but almost every listing says the owner is somewhere on or near the property.

What I'm looking for is to pay the owner and then be completely independent and on my own.

Where are these private independent Casa's and how does one book / rent them? (People talk about them all the time but I don't see them?

The taxi to Guanabo is approximately in the middle of the queue.

Just ask.

A few years ago I paid 5 bucks if I remember correctly.

Does anybody know how to go to Guanabo playa del este from Havanna with public transport or any other way then taxi?Pre covid I used to take a bus from Havana out there. It was the local bus and cost was almost nothing, but you have to ask to find out where to catch it etc. Not everyone is happy if they know you are a foreigner and you use the buses because they are heavily subsidized and cost at the time was less than a peso. And service was not the priority.

I gave up on trying online and have a pimp now which ran into me on san rafael street. He is delivering me chics for 30€.

First time I meet them with him, than I change numbers and meet them without him.

I already had to times an slim, small negra, which is heavily tatooed. She even has these grind thighs tatoos under her ass, its so sluty, I love that. She even arrives from outside Havanna.

Fucked her two times two rounds and gave her 35€ per session. She was extremely happy with that and wants to come again.

BBFS of course, without hesitation.

In the evening he wants to deliver an new chic. I'm intersted what he will deliver.

Confused why you had to change your number and hide from him (got a new SIM right? Or just went to the phone co to change it?) but then are still in touch? Huh?

This is really cool information though. Thank you.

No the pimp even told them not to bring their phone as he wants that every meeting is going through him, so he can make his cut every time.

That's why he is pimp. Taking money for every Encounter from the girls.

But anyway I gave the girls my number on a piece of paper and they call me the next day. Its more money for them also without the pimp.

18 years old is legal but make sure she's really 18!Actually the consent age in Cuba is 16.

Age of Consent vs Age of Majority

=============================================

Greetings Gentlemen,

The Age of Consent is the age in which girls can participate in consensual, non-commercial sex with their teen-age boyfriend without said teen-age boyfriend being charged with statutory rape.

However, the Age of Consent is irrelevant to the members of this forum.

What you need to focus on is the Age of Majority, which among other things is the age in which they can vote, get married, enlist in the military, and participate in commercial sex activities.

Please exercise caution and govern yourself accordingly.

Thanks,

Admin

I was in Havana in Feb. Stayed in Old Havana, but went down to the Vedado area a few times. Honestly feel like I must be missing something. I've seen a lot of recommendation for the area but my experience felt like it was kind of lame and boring. No where near as lively as Old Havana.

I am open to being wrong so could someone educate me as to why Vedado is the place to be? Because I'm going back, but just don't see the point of staying in Vedado.

I simply posted more or less accurate pictures of my ugly, aged, wrinkled face (while I suppose I was handsome in my youth, I'm in my late 70's now and there is nothing attractive about it.) Along with a brief description of my itinerary and my desire for companionship and fun. If a girl liked me, I would respond (in Spanish) with some nonsense like "you are goddess come down to Earth from Heaven! If they responded back, I would write something like, "I'm looking for fun, I'll be there Tuesday. I have money $$ My whatsapp is +1 123-456-7890. Call me!" Some women responded, "I am not a jinetera!" But maybe 8-10 women called. Of them, I hooked up with two. One 18, one 19. Both super pretty and fun.

I used the free version of Badoo.

OK, back in Havana soon. Staying round La Rampa, Vedado.

Last visit was 2018. Is the Tikoa basement bar still chock full o' hoes?

Street action was minimal in 2018 - the police had trucks parked on La Rampa all night rounding up solo girls.

But the girls were still willing if I struck up a conversation with the right ones.

Daytime in Old Havana there were options for someone who kept their eyes open.

Question is: is it the same situation now? Any new hotspots?

Any good nightspots, (even with limited hoe numbers)?

Staying in the older part of town (near Parque Central / Hotel Kempinski) I was approached by numerous older floozies east of Bar Floridita. On the other side of Marti on Blvd San Rafael (a walking street), many, many pretty young women strolling or sitting on benches. They were available, but not actively soliciting.

When I was last there I had a lot of success at the square at the top of 23. The police wagon was parked at the TIkoa part of the road, and no single girl would dare loiter round there.

I think Badoo has a feature to hide your profile and show it to only members you match with. But that's with premium membership. May be try playing with that? Also Badoo isn't a popular site in the West. Most haven't even heard of it so chances of others seeing our profiles are slim. But yeah better to be safe I guess.

I'm overdue for a trip to Havana. Been a few times. Blew my mind the first time.

The third time kinda sucked. It was just pre-COVID. Frankly it was just hard to find girls. I posted up on the malecon and nothing happened. It was kinda boring. I remember that first time it was shooting fish in a barrel.

Is Havana back or still hard to play? I mean it's a great city but not worth it if you have to work harder, and so many other places that you can go.

Are people hanging out on the Malecon these days? If enough locals show up, the girls will also show up and blend in. Last two visits -- last year -- the Malecon had very few people on it and long stretches of no one. If you are in Havana or been recently, please let me know if the "party" is back on the Malecon.

A second option is in the streets around the Hotel Nacional. Anyone had luck finding a girl in the shadows?

Hey guys, I am happy to be corrected, but don't you guys think the apartment prices in Airbnb are atrocious for a country like Cuba where the average monthly salary is around $150 USD. I found some real estate agents in Facebook and they agreed that if I come to Cuba they'd be able to find me a place. What do you guys think of this? I was hoping to go there for a month or two learn Spanish and monger. Am I really underestimating how bad things are? Or is this doable. I'd save a lot of money as well especially in Winter.

This is an update based upon a 5 day visit to Havana in late April. I have visited there 10-15 times. I speak enough Spanish to get by, but am not fluent. I'm well into my sixth decade, but am in very good shape with a sense of adventure and modest game. I stay in a casa in Vedado and treat every Cuban with respect. I've delayed this report because there isn't too much good to say about the current situation.

The Cuban economy is a disaster. Much worse than in the past. People line up at gas stations that are closed, just waiting for a delivery of gas to the station. The wait often extends into days. Half the restaurants are still closed. The ones that are open may have limited menus. (The only sure thing I knew for a good meal in Vedado was El Biky. But keep in mind that it is owned by the Castro family.) In the past there was a broad sense of happiness amongst the people. No more. There is no joy in streets. Very sad.

The unofficial exchange rate is around 170 pesos per dollar (although you could get a little more if you worked harder at it than I did). The problem is that there is nothing to buy. Unless you have a MIC card (which roughly equates to dollar values). You can't get a MIC card without having a Cuban bank account.

I payed $30 per night for my independent casa in a Cuban apartment building. It was basic and clean.

The Ectesa telephone cards still work. Kind of. They are removing the hot spots from the parks. So, you need to search for a location or go through a hotel to access reliable internet (at a higher cost). Or arrange for a Cuban sim card so you can access the separate system (called "Data" or something like that) for locals.

There are a few girls. But not a lot. Mostly black girls in the Vieja or Centro areas. LaRampa (Calle 23) used to be where I easily found attractive and interesting young women. Now it is dead. Nothing going on. Same problem with the Malecon. If it were not for my existing contacts, the trip would have been a monger disaster.

I feel bad for the Cuban people. If anyone has a doubt about the destructiveness of socialism, a week in Cuba will remove that doubt.

I wonder how much are these apartments if we rent it on our own.I rent an independent apartment a couple of blocks from the hotel Nacional right on the Malecon for $40 USD daily. I've noticed that when you go thru a 3rd party (either Airbnb or some other way) they hit the renter with $5 USD markup daily.

The thing is for $50 or less daily, in my book is a bargain. I remember once on a business trip to San Francisco I asked the front desk to get a room with a view (Golden Gate bridge) and the up charge was $60 USD on top the $190 daily rate. I know Cuba salary for most Cubans is very low, nonetheless, you can't expect to pay what locals pay no matter where you go unless you have some family who can get "the Cuban rate".

A wise man once said "if you want to stop enjoying sex, get married".Truth is I actually do enjoy sex with my wife. It's just that we are both in our forties and, if I'm being honest, I'm not really ready to stop having sex with 22 year old girls. I could, but I don't want to. I find it thrilling. And frankly I have the opportunity because I travel a bit for work, and I'm wealthy enough that burying a few thousand dollars here and there is very easy for me to do. And so I do it.

If anyone has a doubt about the destructiveness of socialism, a week in Cuba will remove that doubt. In defense of Cuba their government was a banana republic before the Castros, that's why they were initially so popular (they drained the swamp). Suffocating embargoes, sanctions and the collapse of their main ally ensured no government would succeed in Cuba.

Right that report is a bit discouraging.

Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't the current situation mean that there are more girls available?

Poverty breeds necessity, but what you desribed is a ghost town.

In defense of Cuba their government was a banana republic before the Castros...Not really, at that time Cuba was ahead of some of the so called "first world countries," for example, Spain (Google could help you with that). There was a lot of corruption and a dictatorship, Cubans were against that and supported what came to be a bigger dictatorship, 100 times more corrupt. Cuba is a good example that the Law of Attraction is real.

Anyway, Cuba was heaven for our hobby in the 90's, young, fresh and cheap, not any more. As a Cuban by birth, I could go there to see family, friends and have fun, but I rather go to the Dominican Republic or Colombia. As a matter of fact, it's very likely that I'll visit Africa before I even think about going to Cuba.

By the middle of the century urban areas had substantially increased the quality of living (if you were white), however if you were black or lived in the countryside it was completely different. Seeing as how most of the early exiles were white rich city folk I'm not surprised they don't remember the squalor their countrymen experienced.

Here's a pretty balanced article from PBS discussing it: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/comandante-pre-castro-cuba/.

They were talking about Cuba past and present. There was an old, black, uneducated and poor man who said "before we lived better. " I tend to believe him. Before there were quite a few rich blacks, today we have none. But I thank you for your input, it's always nice to know about your country through "outsiders. " If you're really interested, I can put you in touch with my cousin, who is black, and he can tell you if Cuba was bad for him before castro!

Would love to know what places in Africa you have planned to visit. Appreciate any input. Thanks!I'm still in the planning phase, but I'm leaning toward Ghana, somebody said that it's the "booty capital of the world" and I like that, but also Kenya and Madagascar.

I plan to come down to Cuba in a few months with friends and family. The last time I was in Cuba was in 2015 on a cruise. I didn't have too much fun the first time. I intend to be in Cuba for about a week. I will be staying in Varadero in a resort, and Havana in an Airbnb. Does anybody have any information about the girls in both cities? I also speak no Spanish. I have been reading a ton in the Thread, but I'm still hoping it's not dead as others have reported. Thanks.

Thanks for the report. It is in line what I experienced last year in November. I have been to Cuba so many times and I was always a big fan of hunting on the malecon. It is a shame what happened to this former paradise.

At the end of June I flew to Habana and had 5 girls in 6 days (one was a repeat). I found the "search" somewhat hampered by the desperation I saw in a lot of places. There's a greater sense of people looking to score a few pesos, more hustling going on than ever I remember. All the girls I spoke to and enjoyed were on San Rafael. As other posters have noted, the Malecon was active with people sitting, but hardly any talent out there. I only saw two working girls. They seemed to be hustling -- aggressive -- so I just said Hello, and passed on by. A few on the Prado, where I walked a lot.

The skateboarders have taken over the middle section, so be careful not to get tackled. I keep checking one spot at the high end of the Prado where I once met a girl, but that girl is never there. Other girls were, however, but again very aggressive. I did not like their looks or attitude. Also, a few around the park, but that was only during a very strange concert that was put on right in the street in front of the Ingleterra, with a band that sang in English. Big band music with a horn section and multiple singers doing pop songs from the 70's. I asked a girl if she liked it and she responded, "Not really". Maybe later there would have been a Latino band doing familiar rhythms, but I didn't hang around. I liked the street food and open liquor being served, as well as the girls from a dance school doing a dance routine prior to the music. But it seemed so forced and it looked like it caught everyone by surprise.

Anyway, here's my report on the ladies. I will qualify the first encounter by saying, my first night in any country where mongering occurs is always problematic for me. This is because I am over eager and really, really turned on. Leaving my own country where my age tends to make me a pariah amongst the younger females around me, I land in these places where I am suddenly considered attractive. Even if it's mostly transactional, I appreciate a girl just flirting and taking an interest in me. So, given this particular mental state, understand that what happened at the end is totally my fault. I was walking Rafael around 9 PM on a Tuesday telling myself there was plenty of time, don't rush into it. Two black girls approach me and right away want to do a threesome. I like to chat and joke around a little first, but these two were all over me. One grabbed my cock and the other was doing tongue things. They kept saying 2 girls for 5 K. They were clearly pros and had a scheme going, but I thought I was smarter. Also, they were cute and funny. So we agreed and went back to my place. Problem one: instead of hiding my money they saw me drop my pants on a chair prior to the shower. All three of us in the shower, both girls fighting to get their hands on my little man. Then one of them drops and starts giving me an excellent BJ as if the movie camera was rolling. I hardly saw the other one leave the shower, but I thought I could catch her in the mirror outside the bathroom. Again, too far gone into the sex. Maybe only 30 seconds of this before I realize I don't know where the second girl is. I went out and she was in the front room, where she left her purse. Since girls are always checking their phones, I paid her no mind and we all jumped on the bed and things got crazy. They did everything I asked, one licking the other's pussy while the other was tonguing my ass. It was hot. Both loved to suck and fuck and insisted they each got a turn. No talk of condoms at all, which I know was stupid, but they had me wrapped around their fingers. Or tongues, in this case. The cuter one really got into the BJ and I finished in her mouth while the other was giving me a prostate exam. We lingered in the room and I made the mistake of opening my suitcase to give them clothes and candy. The darker girl got really greedy and I had to reprimand her like her daddy. They got dressed quick. I paid the 5 K and the greedy one said, "Wait -- it's 5 K each. " I said no way. Take this and leave. The other said, "That's fine. Let's go. Can I grab a beer on the way out?" The lack of a challenge over the $$ should have been another red flag. They left with their beer and new clothes. While I showered and dressed I thought again about where that one girl had gone while the other was sucking me in the shower. Then I recalled that my clothes were on the floor, not on the chair where I had put them. Fuck. I checked my wallet. She left the pesos but took 200 USD that I had tucked away in a side pocket of the wallet. Fucking hell. But I had to admire her skill and swiftness in finding it and hiding it before I noticed. In truth, many many visits to this country and this is the first time this has happened to me. Serves me right, I told myself. Should have put that money away behind closed doors before letting them in the bedroom. OK. Live and learn.

Next day I found a young girl who was willing. She was sitting with a group and I recognized her as a girl I wanted to go with last time I was here, but got the cold shoulder. This time I could see she was open for business. We negotiated a price of 5 K. At the exchange rate of 200 pesos to the dollar, 5 K is 25 USD. She was quirky but small and cute, so I allowed for her eccentricity. I couldn't tell if she was experienced or not. But she was really into DFK. She attacked my face and wouldn't stop. After the kissing, I directed the entire scene, straddling her tits and shoving my cock in her mouth. She was into the BJ, but not so eager for intercourse. I got her to rim me and then finger me as I came on her face. I don't usually do that, but she wouldn't open her mouth. What's a fella to do? Unlike the other pair from the night before, this one was appreciative of the clothes I got her. A nice new bra and panties, as well as shorts and a top. She left happy.

Next day I'm going along and trying to find a friendly face. Wound up all the way at the park at the end of Rafael, turned the corner and ran into a dark, skinny girl with Indian features wearing what I'd call an elegant white dress. It's all about the eye contact. And she returned the eye contact, telling me she'd like to discuss world affairs and climate change. No, just kidding. We talked about fucking. She set the price at 3500 pesos, which would be $ 17.50 US. I didn't argue. She paused to tell her "friend" . Probably her "cholo" . That she'd be gone for a while. Took a bici taxi, she stopped and bought cigarettes. I told her no smoking in the room, and she said no problem. Back in the room, still kicking myself for the other night, the first thing I did was hide my wallet. We showered together, but I got out first and she took longer. It was very much a traditional fuck. She gave a great BJ, then insisted on a condom. Not sure if she liked the sex. I offered her clothing, but she wasn't interested. Occasionally, I got a nice smile, and I would repeat again with her, but she seemed a bit precious. Still, I found her really cool to hang out with. {BTW: All BJ"s on the trip were BBBJ, which is awesome compared to some other places you could go, so I didn't mind a condom for the sex. Plus it's probably healthier for everyone. } While 3500 pesos is a lot of money to a Cuban girl of 20, I realized how little it was and gave her a 500 peso tip, just to make her think nice thoughts about me.

Third night I ran into the same small girl as Day 2, but she was with a group. Also, my palate was looking for something different this evening. Sitting on the same bench was another girl, also young-looking. Showed me her ID and it said 19 YO, so we started the negotiations. I can't remember what we agreed upon but it was probably 4 K. This was the best sex of the trip. She could have sucked me all day. And while the penetration was covered, the girl had no interest in stopping until she came. Which she ultimately did. We fucked for a really long time and she was really into it, which doubles the turn on, especially when the girl is so hot. Like all the girls I have met in Cuba, there was no clock watching. It was fantastic. Came on her tits, which were spectacular. Just her funny, girlfriend-like smile captured my soul. After, she was in no hurry to leave. At this point I had grouped "outfits" together, so I pulled out some white short-shorts and a white halter top and some sexy underwear and she loved them. I made a date to see her the following night at 8:00 in front of my place. Sadly, she never showed up. It crushed me. The anticipation of seeing this beauty again, and then not seeing her, drained me of all libidinous thoughts. I went home alone.

Last night in H. I was sure to do a thorough inspection of the prime areas. The only places where girls were around were in the aforementioned spots. And Rafael once again was where you could find a half a dozen to a dozen girls who try to catch your eye. I ran into one of the girls who had robbed me. I suspected I would. She tried to be coy and asked if I wanted another romp with her solo. Her smile told me that she knew what I was thinking. I told her that I knew what she had done and she should get away from me right now. She smiled and said OK and walked away. While I suspected I would be running into one of these girls again, I had no plan of attack nor had any idea what I would say or do. So, once again, I'm the chump. But thinking back on it now. Heck -- the sex was amazing. Two hot young girls doing lesbian things to each other and following direct instructions like, you put your tongue deeper into my ass while you suck me. Now kiss each other with tongue. Then riding me like Seattle Slew -- and doing it all eagerly and without hesitation and enjoying it. Man, I really can't complain too much.

Anyway, the girl from day two -- the small young one -- was there, same spot with the same group, and I was determined to have that intercourse she denied me last time. A similar financial arrangement, only this time I made it clear we would be having sex. Shower and kissing to start. Blow job again, which I loved since she seemed to want to go on and on. Sex covered was allowed this time. I asked her to climb on top, which made her laugh. I asked why and she said she is not usually on top. More sucking. More ass play. Standard Mish was what she was used to, so that's what she got. I ripped off the condom at the end and finished in her mouth, which I got her to keep open this time. And I always love the pause afterwards that a girl will do where, she wants to jump up and spit it out, but I'm sitting on top of her chest. It's a cute moment since I know exactly what she is thinking. A smile is exchanged, and then I kiss her, then move, and she races to the bathroom to spit and shower. Very cute. I noticed when she got dressed that she was wearing the bra I had bought her. I gave her a pair of panties that had a rude saying across the ass. It was in English and I didn't translate it for her, so I am wondering how long it will take her to figure it out. I gave her candy for her friends and she left.

That was my five girls in six days. As others have noted, the girls are not as plentiful around el Centro and H. Vieja. I would say that they are still there, though. And perhaps more desperate than ever to make money. More police walking around than what I remember, but that could have just been for that concert by the park. I did not see police bothering anyone, and the boldness of the girls tells me that they must understand the dire economic straits of the moment and are looking the other way. In any event, I encourage you to visit Habana. Bring dollars and Euros and you will be a popular dude. Understand that YMMV when it comes to experiences with the Cubana species. From my own perspective, every girl and every experience is different. But rewarding. Even when you get robbed. Probably why I love this place.

Saludos a todos.

Saludos a todos.Hey Edward,

Man, excellent report! Can't wait for my next trip down there.

Question: you mentioned you got an exchange rate of 200 CUP to 1 USD, correct? Where did you get this rate? Rental, street or someplace else?

I was there this past February and got 160 CUP to 1 USD, so I guess things still pretty hard for a lot of Cuban@s.

Saludos.

No talk of condoms at all, which I know was stupid, but they had me wrapped around their fingers. Or tongues, in this case. The cuter one really got into the BJ and I finished in her mouth while the other was giving me a prostate exam. every girl and every experience is different. But rewarding. Even when you get robbed. Probably why I love this place.

Saludos a todos.Thank you for taking your time to write a long and detail report. While many of Cuban women are opportunists; there's a way of cutting down the odds in Cuba. No girl wants to deal with the police or any authority. Just snapshot a picture of her cellular prior to her going inside your room. Tell her you sending it to the owner and it will not be written down for records. That will change the overall possibility of her acting on her opportunistic instincts.

I know the $200 hurt your pride more than your pocket. I'm glad you had fun.

Hey Edward,

Man, excellent report! Can't wait for my next trip down there.

Question: you mentioned you got an exchange rate of 200 CUP to 1 USD, correct? Where did you get this rate? Rental, street or someplace else?

I was there this past February and got 160 CUP to 1 USD, so I guess things still pretty hard for a lot of Cuban@s.

Saludos.200 pesos to 1 USD was on the street. First exchange the guy gave me 190. When you walk around, guys will shout out their exchange rate in the street or near a popular restaurant or on Obispo. Later, I just waited until I heard 200 and then exchanged at that rate from then on. There may be an equal or better demand for Euros, and at one point the guy pretended like his rate was based on Euros, not dollars. I was ready to walk away, but he stuck with the deal in the end. Make sure you do your calculations before you exchange. If you change 100 US, make sure you count it out in front of the guy -- you count, not him -- and it should be 20 K for 100 US. Insist on large bills of 500 or 1000, otherwise they'll give you all 50's. Which is ludicrous, but just like with girls, negotiate first. Make it clear you have dollars or Euros. They will agree. Lastly, try to get them to tell you how far you will need to walk, because usually it's an intermediary who will expect a tip. If it's more than three blocks, don't bother. Some will walk you all over Havana to their friend who may or may not be home. They are usually good about watching for police, but you should also keep an eye out. I've been told a cop will break up the transaction and keep all the money. Never seen it since the money changers are hip. The rate I got last summer was 105 to the dollar. This time it was 200 to the dollar. May go even higher. It makes everything that much more affordable. You can also pay with dollars, but you get more value by paying pesos. 5000 pesos to a young girl is a fortune. Hope you get to travel there soon.

Just got back from a few days in Havana. Didn't have too much time for our hobby.

Firstly, yes, La Rampa is deader than Joan Rivers snatch.

My favorite Tikkoa nightclub is closed for good. Covid did for it. The other bars close early or are empty. The streets are empty. Some locals on the Malacon, but looks more like couples, non-working girls.

The other end of the Malacon, near the new Iberostar Grand Packard Spanish Hotel, there were a few more, and I was getting looks from the girls, unfortunately was with someone, so couldn't respond. There's a cuban look you get from the girls, directly into your eyes, their eyes conveying "fuck me" often accompanied by a short hiss, if you missed the point. There was a early 20's shorty with big jugs would have taken in a heartbeat under other circumsances.

Whatever you hear about Canadian Dollars or Euros etc, take US Dollars, its easier, you'll get a better rate. The black market spivs genuinely don't have a clue about exchange rates, except the dollar.

Like every transaction in Cuba it can be a hassle to get a good rate, and there's no need to make it more difficult. Look out for some scam artists who work behind La Floridita, amazingly the snaggle toothed scammer asked me to hand over my money before the deal, then tried to con me with piles of small volume notes, the whole thing was a charade. Fortunately further down the Obispo there was someone who actually wanted to exchange.

To find a good old fashioned hoe, I walked around the old town, down a few side streets, and finally was rewarded again with the direct-eye-stare and brief hissing sound. First lady was mid thirties and way overweight, "No gracias", then as it was tiring in the heat I got a drink at a stand and the lady said is there anything else I want. Chica? Yes, we chatted in broken spanish. What kind of girl did I like? "18 and big tits" was my reply, knowing I'd get neither. The first women was a moose, so turned her down, repeated my requirement and in 5 minutes was rewarded with. A 19 yo with small tits, but you know, dirty eyes, so I agreed, the sales lady said I could use the mattress in the hot sweaty room next door and we were off to the races. I honestly can't recall how much I paid, it was around 25 dollars I think. And she had a tight little hole. Insisted on a rubber unfortunately. It was so fucking hot, and so fucking tiring that she eventually finished me by hand, and I was on my merry way.

So yes, Cuba's a shadow of its former mongering self, although if you're willing to search through the dirt you can find some diamonds, women still try, its just so much less prevalent.

Food was worst I've ever had there. No potatoes, no cheese for cheeseburger, no fries at Sloppy Joes, no napkins, still the chicken wings was OK.

For me accommodation wsa in one of the big Hotels.

Has the feel of a siege economy, don't know how it will end.

Since the pandemic, I've just visited it once (a couple of months ago) and Cuba is getting worse by the day.

Mongering is not what it used to be, I used to score 9's and 10's each trip, now all the hot chicks seem to have fled the island. No 9's or 10's on sight anywhere.

And like you said, food is horrible, each time you ask for something, it lacks of 2 or 3 ingredients. What its supposed to be a pleasant trip turns out to be an unpleasant experience.

Not to mention the constant power outages everyday.

I think I won't go back anytime soon, ill take my mongering ways somewhere else.

The quickest way to get a tourist sim card in Cuba is to pre-order it for collection at Havana Jose Marti Airport. The sim card can also be collected from ETECSA offices, but they're better set up for collection at the airport. You can buy it via Suena.

Remember Google, it's usually your friend. Here's a link I found, there are many others.

It was full of pussy, so I saw a few 9, the models. 5 years ago was already really bad compared to my first time, which was probably 15 years ago. And 15 years ago was already in rapid decline, even though I was able to meet two freebies, and one was absolutely gorgeous. But people told me that before it was much better, 30 years ago it was a blast, I have been told.

I am surprised, however, because a lack of money, food, and essentials, should make girls hungry for money, and cheap. I am surprised to see that is not the case. Should have put that money away behind closed doors before letting them in the bedroom. OK. Live and learn.Very unfortunate. Look, I had a few threesome. One in Cuba, a couple in Brazil and one in Colombia. In Brazil twice with the same girl but a different girlfriend of her. I didn't have to worry because that girl was a regular to my place. In Colombia got two girls from El Centro, in Medellin, but my money was in another room, closed. Still I was very vigilant. In Cuba I got two girls just outside La Fabrica de la Musica, if I recall the name correctly. They were two pros. One had short blond hair (not natural) and the other has curly hair. The blond was way more attractive. The other one had a smelly pussy, probably an infection. So, I focused on the blond, since when I fucked the other one, with the condom, I didn't like the smell coming from her pussy. When I was making up with the blond, the other one started to roam around the room. My money was inside by duffel bag, just behind me. I told her to sit on the bed and stay put, but after a minute she tried again, and I caught her. I took her arm first, and then I got her neck with my hand, and I told her to drop the content of her purse on the bed. I was furious. That was it, my money. They couldn't leave, because the gate could only be opened with a key. So I got all my money back, and I told them I would have called the police. Which I didn't. But that was enough to scare them both. The thief didn't move anymore till I finished with the blond.

Avoid a threesome with girls you do not know, it is too dangerous. That should be the rule.

Hello!

This is only to offer a little advice on Cuba Now.

I've traveled to Cuba both Havana and Holguin 6 times in the past year.

I've tried to share my information before but some of your know it all said I was wrong.

You can easily read my earlier reports and see they reflect Cuba Now, many of the pirates who are so quick to criticize have not been there lately or never been.

At all and just run their mouth.

Cuba and the people are desperate. It is sad.

The Water and the food is bad, I've had salmonella 3 times. Do not touch their water in any way. Get bottled water if you can. I carry a filter as backup.

The people are great and the girls very loving.

Yes, the US Dollar is King. I've said this every time. Yes, exchange as much as 210/$1. Yes, get pesos, but, dollar works everywhere.

Airbnb are the best deal, remember if you don't like price asking, make an offer to host. Works about every time for me.

Absolutely beautiful Girls are abundant on Tinder, Do homework, You must have WhatsApp to communicate with them. WhatsApp is the National telephone for much of the world.

SIM card, yes your phone works in Cuba, just expensive, SIM card you can get, but to buy is hard.

Wait until you get a GF, get a permanent account keep credit on it, good for 1 year.

I've covered the basics of Cuba in earlier threads, many criticized but ALL fact. Go back and read.

Now, the rest of the story. Tinder. That is the magic word or carpet to take you to paradise of women. About 60% of Tinder accounts in Cuba are real, 40% are guys pretending and representing girls; they get a cut or the gifts. Boy, can I tell some stories. All worked into something but deception.

Anyways, after running your due diligence on Tinder for a while, you will be put on a Bulletin Board or Private list that girls purchase to meet Gringos / You. Remember, in order to cut the guy out of this circle, ask to video chat with the person. Yes, many excuses, many lies from pretenders. Next ask to send WhatsApp location, you can determine real from pretenders. You will soon notice hearing from girls in same area, they share your number. Lucky you. They all fuck. Boy do they.

[Deleted by Admin]. Holguin is the bigger hotbed of desperate girls followed by Havana. OK, I know some asshole who knows everything will shoot me up on this Holguin as best hunting. Why Holguin? Holguin has maintained a tourist business, Havana has crumbled. American flies direct to Holguin from Miami everyday, welcome aboard. Soooo, there are many many Senoritas waiting for You. Great Hunting.

IF you are sincere and Truly want a Cuban girl friend, maybe I will help you.

I can only say this, not one night in Cuba have I not slept with a beautiful girl.

Chow!

Rainman.

Great report Rainman.

Always wanted to go to Cuba, love the accent. Are the girls worth the Salmonella risk? I mean you can get some serious talent all over Latin America, but Cuba is certainly enticing. In your opinion, is it worth a visit considering all the negatives aspects that go with it?

[Deleted by Admin] I recently spent a week in Havana for the first time in 20 years. As Rainman said, this is the modern era, so adapt to it and use apps before you go instead of walking around aimlessly trolling like a fishing boat. I had everything set up before I even left. I ran out of days with several hotties left in the bullpen that I will be seeing on the next visit (and yes, next time I'm hitting Holguin too). Also true, if you don't have WhatsApp you're dead in the water (It works with Google Voice so you don't have to give up your real # Not that Cubacell is worth a $#!T so be sure your Airbnb has good Wifi.

As for being poisoned, no $#!t, don't drink the tap water, buy bottled water as soon as you get off the plane (there's a store right across the street from Joe Marti with water, beer, and even a Cubacell store. The one in the airport sucks) and bring some hard cheese and crackers and salami with some ice packs in your carry on, and eat at the Parque Central Hotel and you'll be OK. Bottom line, if it is too hot to eat, it's probably too hot to poison you, basic pasteurization. Make sure any food you buy burns your mouth!

Be sure to get some pesos for the taxis, but almost everyone takes dollars. Probably worth getting a $100 on the official ATM card at the airport if you want some cigars, but I even bought cigars at a Habanos store with cash. The hotels are probably the biggest sticklers for ATM cards to stop employee theft. Dollars are king.

Everyone poo-pooing Cuba rn is full of it. I have extremely high standards, and I am already planning my next visit. By all means, stay home, and leave them desperate to see me! I'm just glad I live so far away or Cuba would become a major distraction in my life. My only regret is that I didn't study Spanish harder in high school.

If anyone has a doubt about the destructiveness of socialism, a week in Cuba will remove that doubt.Hello, I'm planning my first visit in October would you mind helping me with some local contacts?

I'm going this October to Havana and I've read how Malecon is dead and there are no girls in La Rampa. I've read that in the park at the end of San Rafael there will be around a dozen of street working girls on a random basis.

Would be great to know the new spots to get those 3/ 5 K prices. Also I've heard some 'casas particulares' the hostess and their relatives (cousins, sisters) come often to offer their services to give company to the guest. Is that common?

I do have a theory that the hottest girls are in Holguin (maybe since that's where Columbus first landed and added some European genes). But good luck finding them wandering around that huge province.

I have noticed the younger girls in Havana are unfortunately being influenced by American girls: Fatter, and with tattoos. Some even do that weird thing with the eyeliner where they curl it upwards on the outside like wings. I've told some of the girls I met in Havana that, despite your obvious privations, you are probably happier in general than American women are these days, so be careful what you wish for.

I am looking forward to traveling to Havana in a cooler time of the year to actually explore the streets more. August is definitely not the time to go if you want to go outside!

I have been to all three but not for a long time.First, be prepared to rent a casa particular that turns a blind eye to having girls over. They will not be allowed at the resort or be afraid to get registered (same for casa registration). Holguin has some lookers there, but I found it very difficult to find casas that allow girls to enter with you without registration. You can book her a separate room at the resort, but it gets costly. I assume cienfuegos is similar. Havana, due to sheer size and population, more casa owners, bit easier to find places to stay and bring a girl over.

Pretty sure that's not true in any Spanish speaking country -- the same as "miss".La palabra señorita referido a una mujer virgen, que no ha tenido relaciones sexuales se utiliza tanto en Cuba como en El Salvador.

Es un americanismo, es decir una palabra o expresion propios del español hablado en uno o varios países de América.

The word "señorita", referring to a virgin woman who has not had sexual relations, is used in both Cuba and El Salvador.

It is an Americanism, that is, a word or expression, typical of the Spanish spoken in one or more countries in America. Greetings.

La palabra seorita referido a una mujer virgen, que no ha tenido relaciones sexuales se utiliza tanto en Cuba como en El Salvador.

Es un americanismo, es decir...I don't think this is at all true. Maybe señorita is an oblique / discreet way of saying a woman is a virgin, but it is really Miss vs Mrs, unmarried vs married. I can see, in some cultures, if you had private knowledge that a 20 year old had had sex with her boyfriend, you could say (in a whisper) to an acquaintance that, "No es señorita! But you would still address that woman as "señorita" if she worked as a waitress or as a hotel clerk. How do you think you address a young woman if you don't know the status of her hymen? Even with a more mature woman clerk / waitress / whatever, it is acceptable / charming to address her as señorita.

When you walk around don't expect girls to give you the look back. Be proactive, the best one are going to be a little coy, especially when other people are around. Find one you like walk up to her and smile and ask for her WhatsApp number. Everyone is on WhatsApp. If she gives it to you just walk away and text her later and feel her out. Make sure to mention that you pay. This makes it much easier all the way around and you'll thank me when you come back.

I am going to book a last minute cheap all-inclusive next week and I'm wondering where the best bet is for selection price and quantity? I have been to all three but not for a long time.

I'd be very interested in hearing about people's experiences with Holguin in this regard. There aren't a ton of casas in Holguin, and last thing I'd want is staying in a casa where I couldn't have guests over. It has me not even wanting to visit the province on my next trip, and there are some beauties that I'd really like to meet in that area.

First, be prepared to rent a casa particular that turns a blind eye to having girls over.

Do the girls speak any English or only Spanish?I'm sure you can find what you need with just English, but I will say this. I'm a heavy ogerish looking guy. Back home, I don't get a 2nd look. But when I was in Havana last, the fact that I could walk up to a hot girl and speak in her native tongue made me a rockstar.

This one time, I walked into a bar and started speaking spanish with the bartender, and I instantly got the attention of a very attractive young lady. She was sitting with a much older white dude and they weren't even looking at each other. I have no doubt that I could have easily taken her from him if I was more of an asshole (than I already am).

Speaking spanish, I was able to talk to any girl I wanted and get much more of a GFE vibe from them. And all of them seemed excited to be able to hold an actual conversation with a guy instead of a boring night of just sitting there, then letting a guy do some pushups on her.

If you have the time and put in a little effort, definitely learn at least some conversational spanish. The fact that you can speak a little, but not fluent may make you even cuter to them.

Look up "que hora es dr danny evans" on youtube. My buddy didn't speak a lick of spanish and started to learn the day after we got back in advance of our next trip. He said he learned so much from that youtube series, more than even rosetta stone.

Put in the effort and your penis will thank you for it later.

Do the girls speak any English or only Spanish?

99 times out of a 100, she'd only speak Spanish.

If you do see a doctor though (or med student), there's a near 100 percent chance that they can speak English. It's a requirement for their graduation.

Beyond the basics, you can download the Spanish language pack to your Google Translate app for offline use and it's pretty terrific.

Thanks. As Wet Nose said, definitely download the Spanish pack for Google Translate *before* you get to Cuba, because cell connectivity there is like 2001. Without that and the iOS translate app, I'd have been dead in the water. It can be a fun game to hand the phone back and forth. And a great opener.

It's funny how Cuba will give free education to the doctorate level, but not teach English in schools. I get the FU to the USA thing, but Spain is the country that turned you into a colony. Maybe the government thinks if they teach English to their citizens they'd be even more likely to want to leave. Regardless, I'd say 1/10 girls know some rudimentary English, but don't count on it. They get it mostly from US music (I was stupefied to learn that one of my favorite young Cubanas had a Queen song on her phone!

BTW, for those used to Mexican Espanol, Cuban is a very different accent. Sometimes I'd say a word perfectly in a Mexican accent, and they wouldn't know WTF I was saying. I'd show them the word or phrase on my phone and they'd burst out laughing. Cubans seem to have this speaking practice, why say in three syllables what you can say in one? Their accent seems to confuse the translate apps too.

Such a unique country. Is it winter vacation yet?

Education in Cuba!? Have you heard their "president" talking!?

When I lived there, if you wanted to learn a language, you had to be cleared by the "higher up," except if you wanted to learn Russian or any other "communist language," something that few wanted to learn.

When it comes to Cuba, nothing is what it seems. Just go, enjoy and don't try to understand it because in order for that to happen, you have to live there as a Cuban!

I will keep his short, bc I plan to do a big report when I leave Cuba. We are having tons of fun in Havana but I hadn't got lucky yet sadly. My friend who speak Spanish been able to walk almost to everyone and talk. If you know Spanish then that goes a long way. He been able to score which is good. The only girls I talked to was on Badoo app. I got a lot of matches. One of the girls wanted 100 usd each. We have something line up for tonight but I'm not hopeful. It doesn't help that my friend doesn't want to pay for sex which is fine. We share a house with a bunch of family members so that also hurts. We leave tomorrow for a different part of Cuba. Hopefully I can score there. I will give an update I'm a few days more than likely, then one big report once I get home. Thanks.

Hey fellas,

I would like a bit more info on Havana and Cuba in general for prices and getting a holiday girlfriend price too if you have more updated information as I'm having second thoughts about my 2 weeks holiday in October, a friend said that Colombia is actually cheaper, I'm thinking go to Caribbean Colombia instead of Havana to do a cheap hobbyist holidays. I've read 20 min in Colombia in many casas is around 10 bucks and 25 bucks an hour. That's very competitive prices. How about Cuba? How hot they compare to Colombians? Also the quality of service? Are they full GFE?

Thanks!

BM.Hey BossMan, just curious as to what's the food and water situation in Havana these days? Did you eat out at restaurants much? And if so, was the full menu available or just limited stuff? Was there any trouble getting bottles water and stuff like that?

Good luck at your next destination. It must be tough liking up chicks to bring them back to where you're staying with family. Hopefully you have better luck in the next town. Looking forward to your full report.

Thanks!I would not base a decision on a few dollars difference in the price of pussy. The other differences in the places are a much much bigger factor. There is no comparison. Cuba is a very difficult place to have a relaxing good time. Water issues, food issues, restaurants without basic food, and on and on and on. To say nothing of living in a place where you are being watched all the time essentially. In Colombia none of that.

So Colombia seems more easy for having an all round relaxing holidays although I would like to know how is the experience to GFE a Cuban girl for the holidays. Is that common? Or you need to see them by hours / days? Also some idea on usual prices would be great.

Hey BossMan, just curious as to what's the food and water situation in Havana these days? Did you eat out at restaurants much? And if so, was the full menu available or just limited stuff? Was there any trouble getting bottles water and stuff like that?Water should be no problem if you plan a little. Find out where the closest stores to your casa are before you travel (you guys should post whereabouts you are planning to stay, instead of asking general questions about Havana provisions, so some of us can help to guide each other). There is a nice little store across the street from Jose Marti Airport that has water, beer, and rum (it might be challenging while toting luggage, but my casa hosts were with me).

With that said, the Parque Central Hotel on Old Havana is a great resource for food, including breakfast and hamburgers. It also has an awesome cigar lounge (BYOC is OK). It is indeed "central" in that a lot is nearby, including restaurants and bars (including El Floridita, tourist trappy, but a good landmark) and other hotels and a Habanos store in the general area. (it's right by El Capitolo, and if you can see that, you're not lost). I had no problems finding food at the better TripAdvisor restaurants, I'd just say, be sure the food is hot AF so you know its pasteurized.

Looking forward to your full report.LOL my first trip like 20 years ago I stayed with my 1/2 Cuban friend's elderly aunts. They didn't care if we dragged in ladies at night (literally stepping over them sleeping on the floor), but it did feel awkward and weird, lesson learned. Get your own casa you cheapos! Hint: Look at the "house rules" on AirBNBs. If they are silent on guests, you're probably OK. General rule in flouting rules: It's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

If you are trying to stay in Cuba on the cheap, well, you get what you pay for. That includes the company. Just compare it to what things cost in the first world and everything is a steal in Cuba.

I don't have anything in mind yet. My buddy and I are planning a trip in March / April and it's down to Havana or DR. I'd much rather Havana, but at the same time, I don't want to have a bad time not being able to eat or get drinks. I'm not really a fan of the touristy restaurants. I like wandering around and just stepping into some random restaurant at midnight for "2nd dinner". There's a restaurant at the other end of the block of La Floridita that I've always liked. I was just wondering if restaurants still have their full menus or if they're down to 2 dishes or something and you get what you get.

I've always had a great time in Havana. As for girls, I've always rented places that had no problems with "visitors". Like you said, if the ad doesn't say anything, its probably ok. I've also learned to look for places that state "the entire space is for your use" or something along those lines. Then I know I'm not renting a room in someone's house and I don't have to feel awkward making crazy monkey noises at 3 am.

In my last short report. I talked about not getting any action. That last night I scored. She still tries to call and text me now even tho, I haven't seen her in 5+ days now, and I'm home now. I used the app BADOO. Make sure you download it now. My friends couldn't do it there. This is where all the girls are. Nothing on Tinder, so there's no point. The amount of matches and girls writing me was crazy. Once I left Havana, I left so many on open because there was no point. I have never been close to matching with so many girls here in the US. I will say this before we get too deep. Most girls are not working girls. They will still love to go out on a date or maybe a club or two. I stayed near Club Johnny in an Airbnb. Every girl knew where that was. That might be a hint to stay there, just saying ha. One of the first girls I matched with was hot. But my friend does not pay for it. So we gave them up. After that I thought every girl was working, so I was straight up asking every girl. That caused a lot of them not to text back or just say no. Even these two super hot twins. Got me sick just thinking about it. If you don't want to pay for it, then that will work. My older friend speaks Spanish and he gets every girl's number he talks to. Crazy. He fuck a few and even took a girl to the hotel in Varadero. I will talk more in that report. Like many said to me in earlier reports. Learn as much Spanish as possible. I used Google Translate which was fine, but it was just different if you know Spanish. It will be so much easier. I didn't get much time to go downtown but when we did, the amount of hot girls was crazy. Next time around I will be down there more clubbing. Most of the girls you can go up to and talk to. I saw my friend do it the whole trip. This report is getting long so I wrap it up. Havana Cuba is a gem waiting to be seen. Every girl can be walked up to and talked to. Most girls are not working girls in the way of Thailand or the DR, but if they're single and if they like you, that will probably be the case. You can take them out for dinner or a club. Maybe they are working so they want money or a gift.

I met a girl on the app. She stayed with me from 1 to 6 in the morning. We had fun in the pool, we drinks tons of beer, played a little pool, and of course, fucked everywhere in that house. Only paid 80 USD. 40 went to the taxi because this girl lives so far away it was fuck stupid how far this girl came for me. Then the rest to her. I also gave my Kit Kat to her. She went crazy for them. If you thinking about going to Cuba, JUST GO. Learn some Spanish or be like me. Do nothing but swipe all day then set something up. Get the data for your phone on day one. There wifi FUCKING SUCKS. All the food we had was good. Stick to whole fish and pork. You be alright. Have a beer. Everything tastes good drunk haha. If you're from the US. Only cash works. Cash is king. And have a hell of a time. I'm going on three cruises in the next year so PM me if you want to talk because I will be in a different forum now since this trip is up.

Thanks to everyone who gave me so many tips on Cuba before coming. You guys are the real G for that. Thanks again. Cheers.

Just returned from a 2 night trip to Havana. Once again did not disappoint. I was just there in August, so not much changed, just docent Chicas to choose from and the exchange rate was even better, 250 cup to $1 usd. There was plenty of options of women, and even the Malecon had some choices late night on Monday. VS was jamming until 5 am on Sunday night, with a ratio of about 3 to1, women to men.

Wow! Just wow. Questioning why English isn't taught in Cuba. I love Americans and how they think everyone should speak English. You might not like my comment, but I don't know what is "hypocritical" about them. Spanish is universally taught in US schools BTW. Many countries teach English, because they want to trade with the USA. Every commercial airline pilot is expected to speak English because that is considered the universal language of air traffic. And yes, the one country that complains incessantly that the US has an embargo that is 90 miles away would be better served if its inhabitants spoke and understood English. Of course it is much easier for the Cuban government to mislead their populace if they can't read western news (E G, Cubans in Florida love Trump, but Cubans in Cuba do not).

Anyway, yes they should teach English in Cuba if they want English-speaking tourists to go there with their US greenbacks!

As far as FAC (fabrica del arte cubano) it's a place where it's mostly a place to take a date, not so many working girls there, although I've seem some there too. Lots of single girls in the joint.

This place is highly recommended if you have some game, even if that's not the case it's quite an experience to check out.

After all, Obama and his entourage made a visit back in 2016, so you know the place is happening.

Let's know your experience when you come back.

Again, Cuban government, have English speaking immigration flacks FFS). I assumed he was just stalling me so they could rifle though my luggage, which did, in fact, arrive last on the carousel. He was basically asking me about the purpose of my trip, which I dutifully parroted as "support for the Cuban people. " he was asking me about "donations," which I assumed was a subtle request for a bribe. Then I realized he was asking me if I was some humanitarian bringing donated items and money to Cuba (which of course the Cuban government wants their cut of because they care about the Cuban people so much, LOL). I assured him I was not there to make donations to the Cuban people, at least not by his definition, haha. He also asked me how much money I was bringing in, which I low balled considerably.

It made me a little nervous and paranoid, but I got through OK, and met my casa hosts, bought my Cubacel SIM, pre-paid ATM cards, and cervezas why agua (all at or near the airport) and I was on my way.

So I just arrive in Cuba again this year, this time staying 2 months mostly in Varadero to kitesurf and relax. I went 1 month last year so I'm not a newbie and well prepared this time. Thought I'd give some intel how the situation is right now.

Land at the airport and getting through customs was nothing. Showed them the QR code for health check you need to fill in before, my tourist card and I was on my way. Turkish lost my luggage in Istanbul and spent a LONG time waiting, reporting it (again waiting, es Cuba) and then off. There's an outdoor restaurant to the left as you come out the arrivals on the street under the roadbridge that serve surprisingly VERY good food. They had a a daily special when I was there, had it again since I came back, 1000 CUP for a meal (very tasty pizza, or some rice thingie) plus a beer. That's dirt cheap! When I landed on October 19 the exchange rate in the street was 250 per USD / EUR, could well be 260 now. To my great surprise even this restaurant accepted foreign currency and changed for 250! Obviously not too much, but the meal 1000 peso comes to 4 USD, 1 USD tip, you give them 20 USD they give you 15 x250 in return 3750 CUP (which for many is a month's salary) which is a good start to buy little things your first day before you can change more in the street. Taxi to Havana cantral is about 30 EUR. As I visited last year I had already agreed with a contact to meet me for my keys to an apartment near capitolio. The apartment is private and nice and clean. The hosts and their family live on the same floor but brought girls there before, never any issue, they also don't mention anything about not having visitors neither do they check my passport. They're chill. I went back a few weeks ago too for 2 months in Havana and rented another place through Airbnb in another area. Also super private and clean and nice. It's easy to find on airbnb private apartments where you can do what you like. Just read the descriptions and reviews on airbnb.

Food is "easy to get" because we have money. Finding a really good restaurant is more difficult. Google maps is not always up to date, for example I went to a cafe for a date which had great reviews only 3 months ago only to find out they closed like 2 weeks ago to flee to the US as they got their papers. Things move fast here. Also many restaurants have a full menu but only limited items available depending on stock. Water, beer, sodas, things in general are easy to come by and you can get it anywhere in little windows on the street, people selling all sorts of rubbish they find / import. Half used batteries, 3 cigarettes, a random drive belt for some car, you name it. You need to walk around and look. Old Havana will get your constantly harrassed by people wanting to change money, sell cigars (DON'T EVER IN HAVANA), chicas selling themselves, taking you to music shows, wanting to practice english. It's quite frustrating really, hence I try to avoid it. As you venture further our west it's more chill, not people harrassing you constantly but the selection of places to go is less. Havana is a bit of a dump really, very hectic, dirty, crowded. Exchange money from USD / EUR to CUP and use that. Now it's probably 260-270 in the street, bring small bills too, 10's, 20's, 50's. Don't pay in restaurants with USD as you'll probably get way worse rate back, just exchange for a high rate and use CUP during your stay. Chicas want foreign money, so carry small bills if you decide to give that. You won't get change back from them.

When it comes to chicas they are incredibly easy to get / approach / find or they will find you. Badoo there are hundreds you can contact and get with, as well as in the street. In Badoo you can find anywhere from 18-40 year olds of all shapes and sizes willing. They do trios, one on one, anything really. Some cocky young ones, 18-22 request 150 USD and would NEVER go below 100 USD they say they usually get, which is ridiculous if some schmuck is paying that. Many just as nice, possibly more inexperienced or desperate will happily meet for 10000 CUP (40 USD) and I had a special girl have her brother drive her an hour to my apartment for 5000 (20 USD). Stayed an hour then left with her brother again. I guess it depends on how desperate they are. Funny story is that the brother then sent me a text asking if "I wanted to be with him too", hahahaha. Appartently he was gay but his sister didn't know and couldn't find out. What a surprise. No thanks though.

I sat in a restaurant and made eye contact with a girl walking by with some guy. She stopped and stared at me, I smiled at her, as that's what I do when a woman looks at me, it's a nice thing. 30 minutes later when I left she was waiting for me around the corner asking if I wanted a massage, suck, fuck, whatever I wanted. I asked how much, she said I just need some food for me and my kid so maybe 5000 CUP? Might I add she was 7 months pregnant. I turned her down as I had plans that day already. But it goes to show how easy it is here, and how desperate they are, unfortunately I guess. Also it's extremelt safe here. No maffia, no cartels running girls, no brother or cousins protecting their sister, no switches being made, no pimps, none of that shit to worry about.

Havana is easy to get chicas anywhere. Badoo is SUUUUPER easy, in the street easy too, easy to approach anyone you want. You probably need to speak a little Spanish as most don't know a word of English. Some do, but 1 in every 100 probably. Some you can take out to dinner and drinks, give them some extra cash and they're happy. Some will just want the action and the cash straight up. All ages, types, shapes and sizes are available, it's very easy here and fun. Havana in general is a shithole but it has its good spots and places too, not too many though. I prefer other parts of Cuba, Vinales, Varadero, Cienfuegos and so on. More quiet, chill vibe, and you're able to find girls there too if you look a little harder.

I only brought my 12 but I've used it every day since I got to Varadero. 10 days now it's been windy enough for 9/10-12 m kites. Before that, it was stronger for a week. Now less next 4-5 days but it's incredible conditions here. And no one here, I'm almost alone on the water.

MRJibb. Alot of Cuban families in Havana have government permission to use their homes as restaurants.

I used to get great home cooked meals at these places back in 2017 - just ask any local if they know a location and they will point you in the right direction.

In the Northern Caribbean, the most strong, consistent winds were from end of February to end of May. The easterly trade winds move north with the declination of the sun. Maybe there is a thermal, land breeze that is sailable in the afternoons, but, IMO, you were lucky to have sailable easterlies--I think it's just as likely that the easterlies could completely disappear for a week or more.

I was born in the Eastern Caribbean and spent a good percentage of my youth driving sailboats to and from there. Are you on a surfboard or a twintip? (pay for a membership so I can DM you and not "waste" the forum's time on kiting).

Sure it's a little more expensive but Jesus, maybe 30 usd a night instead of 20 in person. Also it's muuuch easier to compare places and pay by card not wasting cash on that. Much easier to find a private apartment by reading descriptions and previous reviews, literally takes a few minutes. Once you've been here you have WhatsApp numbers to the hosts and can contact them directly for discounted price next time you come.

Sure the wind is light now 4-5-6 days, which is excellent time to heal wounds (I ride for HOURS when I kite), explore other parts of Cuba, hike, bicycle and so on. Thinking you will kite every day for 2 months is not realistic, we need a break too. I was here a month last year, all of November and conditions were excellent. Been excellent this year too for 3 weeks.

Hi all.

I'm close to booking a trip to Havana (via Varadero due to flight prices). I've held off for years due to fear of using visa waiver privileges to the US but, frankly, I'm now resenting missing out on a return trip to a country that I love.

I would only be travelling for a week between December 23 and January 1. I would be booking salsa / son classes for the duration but I'd also love to meet up with a contact on the ground to show me the other sights and be a wingman of sorts for chicas. I had a contact previously but he is unresponsive.

Can anyone recommend a local guide to help me out, for appropriate remuneration, in terms of sights, nightlife and ladies?

Thank you.

More quiet, chill vibe, and you're able to find girls there too if you look a little harder.Great report, but I'm going to have to push back a little on this. Havana looks like a shithole from the street, but there are countless cool bars and restaurants that are cool inside (Travel Advisor is a good resource to look for highly rated restaurants and bars) and some of the hotels are really *much* better than 20 years ago. The Parque Central is lovely (no hint that you are in the Third World in the lobby, bar, or the epic cigar lounge) and the Grand Packard is just gorgeous even by First World standards. Same with the Manzana Kempinsky. All have great rooftop bars that are safe. They aren't great for pickup since mostly tourists there (although typically staffed by hotties so don't rule it out), but great to take an adventurous Cubana for a drink and cool vibe (and always taxis out front so you don't stumble out into the night and get bushwhacked looking for a way home). Obviously I am not talking about staying in the hotels since you can't bring guests, but they are a great resource for fun safe rooftop bars, restaurants, and cigar lounges. Lots of Spanish dollars invested in those hotels.

I will reiterate from a previous post, consider the Parque Central Hotel for a great place to chill and eat some safe food. The Spanish have invested a fortune in these hotels and any reports of food poisoning in their hotels on Trip Advisor would have Iberostar investors apoplectic. Parque Central Hotel is a great place to grab breakfast to start your day. Also the best cigar lounge if that matters to you and you can bring your own cigars. And it is indeed central, as in the middle of Old Havana and within eyeshot of el Capitolo (If you can see the ocean or the Capital you are never lost in Havana). I will definitely utilize the hotels more for eating and evening bar frequenting going forward.

OK, you got me on the noise and smog, but in terms of chicas, Havana wins just on population numbers and places to go and do things the 22 hours a day I have my pants on jajajaja.

I'm going back in January, frens, and hopefully the cooler weather will allow me to explore more during the daytime and see how the pickup action is (although frankly I have more chicas in the bullpen than I have days in Havana jajaja). Bottom line, anyone who says Cuba is dead isn't doing it right. And frankly, I am fine with that, as I prefer it all to myself jajaja. I just wish I lived in Florida so I could get there quicker and easier. Os deseo a todos muchos tremendos mangos.

I'm flying in to Varadero on December 24. I want to get to Havana that day, and I'm not sure how to handle or organize a bus trip.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a taxi / driver for that trip that is, hopefully, relatively inexpensive? I'd also need a return trip early on the morning of January 1, which I appreciate may be a little more difficult to swing!

I recnelty landed in VRA and arranged a taxi guy prior to our arrival waiting for us.

We paid $120 from VRA to Havana with stops in Santros cave for an hour and varadero beach for two hours stops before heading to havana.

We have used the same guy for Vinales from havana and paid around $125 and the next day to pickup us from havana airbnb around 6 am and drop us at varadero by 9 am as our flight is 11:30.

I have been to Cuba 5 times over the past 10 years but lately I was focusing on other south and central american countries.

As I was sick during my October trip to Brazil, Argentina (TR is still pending) and did not mongered much, hence ended up going to Cuba over the long weekend (Nov10 to NOv 13) for 2. 5 days with two other wingmen who are coming for the first time.

Day 1, landed in VRA around 11 am and got the taxi guy (prior arrangement via Whatsapp) pick from airport and drop in havana with two stop overs in between. Also made agreement with the taxi guy to pay all the expenses in CUP until we reach havana and pay him back in USD at 250/$1 USD.

Stopped at (2 kms from VRA) cuvera santros cave and had refreshing swim in fresh water, had some drinks in open bar. Entrance is 300 CUP, 500 CUP for Mojithos.

Stopped at santa marta (chica house) village and picked up some organic chicken (prior arrangements) and had lunch and had drinks and quick fuck with chica whom I was in contact via whatsapp (please don't PM me for the contact as it was private). Handovered the gifts for her family (cloths, toiletries, school bags for kids, usb memory drive and other small electornics that they needed).

Stopped at varadero public beach (near beer factory) and swamp and did some photo shoot and strolled around strip. Returned back to Havana around 6 pm and reached around 9 pm with quick coffiee stop near the bridge exit.

The airbnb (3 bedroom at $75/ night) host was waiting for us, check in was breeze and brought some beers, water before settled the bill for taxi and let him go.

Around 10 pm 3 chicas were (pre arragned) arrived. Two were already in contact via Whatsapp prior to the trip and asked to bring 3rd one of their choice.

By the time I got freshed up and unpacked, the 3 chicas sitting in the hall and finished all the beers we picked up on the way (20 crystals). My inexperienced wingmen could not handle them and ended up going out again to bring more beers.

I quickly took control of them and have us pick up one chica each and went to our rooms for the sessions. I had a great session with some good massage (trained her how to do it) for an hour.

When I came out side, the other two chics are in balcony and drinking beers and told that my wingmens kicked them out. Upon checking with my wingmens. One got tired and after the session he slept and the other one kicked her out as she is in periods. As I myself tired from the whole day trip, I ended up letting them go by giving one girl $50 and another $30 (periods one) and back to my room with my girl and did another session before calling for the night.

Day 2: woke up late and my wingmen alredy got ready and went to hotel presidente (across the street) and took havana city tour bus. I had another session with my chica from last night and took shower and sent her away with $50 and some gifts.

Had some english speaking guy (prior arrangement via whatsapp) came on his bike and went out to local market and bought some vegitables and water and beers (stocked up for another night).

Enjoyed cooking and drinking and conversing with local guy about the situation until afternoon. Had lunch and made some whatapp conversation for other chicas but ended up reconfirming with the same chica for the evening and slept.

My amigos returned back and wanted to go out for clubbing, but I stayed back as my chica came dressed up well and we had good time of dinining in our balcony overseeing the hotel presidente and some good romantic GFE session. Around 9 pm one of the wingmen came back as he could not score any one on the street and I ended up offering my chica to go with him and I called it a night early as I have plans for going to vinales next morning. Third wingmen scored another female tourist (from spain).

Day 3: Woke up early and got ready by 6 am for a trip to vinales with the same taxi guy for $125. We three amigos and one spanish female tourist that my wingman met last night. We had good time throught the trip and returned back to havana by 6 pm.

Freshed up and went to Art factory club (our taxi guy dropped) around 9 pm but some how we did not liked the vibe much and ended up returned back to a bar next to hotel president and parties there. No customers and we three and staff (2 beautiful staff) had good time by singing, dancing and drinking until midnight. The wholte bill was around $20 after covering the drinks for the staff as well).

As we don't have time, we did not bothered to pursue further on the staff as its getting late as our taxi guy comes around 6 am in the morning to drop us back in varadero as we have flight around 11 am.

There is viazul bus for 8 USD but we did not bothered as we are 3 people and waned to have convenince of picking and dropping at our place than taxiing to bus statation and wait and go by their schedule.

Conclusion, lot of chicas are available and with little spanish you can score them by offering jsut food and drinks and some gifts (toiletries the last), mid range will take around $30 USd and overnight GFE range around $50.

Taxies to and from HAVANA and VINALES and VARADERO an average of $100 USD.

P.S.: I got the contacts of the chicas from my other friends who recently went and I did not have time to really explore and experiment due to our short span of the time, but given the opportunity I would love to roam around on bike or walk in old havana and pick up some gems for fraction of amount that I paid in this trip.

Hi FR,

I recnelty landed in VRA and arranged a taxi guy prior to our arrival waiting for us.

We paid $120 from VRA to Havana with stops in Santros cave for an hour and varadero beach for two hours stops before heading to havana.

We have used the same guy for Vinales from havana and paid around $125 and the next day to pickup us from havana airbnb around 6 am and drop us at varadero by 9 am as our flight is 11:30.Thanks MadMax.

Do you have contact details for the taxi guy? I've found Viazul so think getting a bus from VRA straight to Havana may work (with 3 hours between scheduled landing and scheduled bus departure), but I also have an early morning flight home from VRA so would rather pay for a morning taxi rather than having to travel to Varadero the day before.

Thank you MadMax! I'm visiting in a few weeks. Over the last few years of posts (which don't go back very many pages on the forum) there is a lot of scare-mongering regarding chicas, police, etc. But more recent reports are starting to show that chicas are available and in plenty supply.

Thank you.

Hi.

Is anyone willing to share any airbnb listings that are definitely chica friendly? I've contacted many over the last 12 hours, and most respond saying guests are welcome, but when pushed further, they confirm that they need to register.

Am I pushing too much!?

Registering is a legal requirement so yes, if you expect otherwise you may be asking for trouble.Forgive my ignorance, but if registration is a requirement across the board (I'm aware that it is), and from reading various posts here saying that chicas don't want to register because too many registrations may get them in trouble, then what are people doing for a venue when meeting a chica? Just sneaking them into your accommodation? Or searching until you find a chica wiling to register?

Am I pushing too much!?Yes you are pushing too much and IMO we should not even be discussing this here because it draws attention to this issue. (This is a public message board). This is why we can't have nice things.

Bottom line it is better to ask forgiveness than permission. Check if the host lives in the same building HINT HINT.

I don't wanted to make a scene as my chic is also supporting her that it was unexpected and show her some generacity. Being poor.

I let it go as I don't wanted to argue or make her upset because of my friend's badluck.

Bottom line it is better to ask forgiveness than permission. Check if the host lives in the same building HINT HINT.Pretty much every casa allows the guest with restriction of registering the chicas.

But I never faced any issue as long as you don't create any trouble.

I lived in private apartments as well as in the house where the owner lives too.

The key is being polite and inform them you want to have fun with discrete. They will still ask for the carne to show but don't register them if you request.

I felt its safe to have the chica ID to be shown or taken picture by the owner for your own saftey.

I had 3 contacts casas. Two of them were given by the chicas themselves but ended up going with unknown apartment via airbnb due to the need of 3 bedrooms private high floor unit with balcony.

I gave hint before confirming the unit via airbnb chat and she did accepted that for showing the ID but won't be registering.

I never had any problem but the owner is bit nervous though when we got 3 chicas and we all are partying in the balcony where neighbours were watching.

Next day onwards I have limited to only one and she felt comfortable as I repeated the same chica.

Question question about getting into Cuba. If you fly from an airport outside of the USA on a separate ticket, using a foreign carrier, then how would US immigration officials ever even know that you visited Cuba, unless they notice an entry stamp in your passport?

I know that Cuba requires you to pay an entry voucher fee. But why would Cuba send info back to the US that one of their citizens is entering the country, when there's still hostility between the 2 governments and they cooperate on very little?

It seems to me like this is the easier route than coming up with one of the 13 permissible purposes, then risk being audited later, asking to provide receipts on where you stayed and spent your money.

Question question about getting into Cuba. If you fly from an airport outside of the USA ... then risk being audited later, asking to provide receipts on where you stayed and spent your money. You're overthinking it. USA'ans are allowed into Cuba for 12 reasons: family visits, journalism, etc. Number 7 is "supporting the Cuban people". Check box 7.

I'd add just one caveat, do not lie to USA Customs when you go thru customs. Not sure if they can have access to your travel to Cuba, nonetheless, in today's world of AI and connectivity who knows if they have access to your travels. So, that's just me, also, I don't think they'd require receipts. I think it's just their M. O. To scare / making it more challenging for people so they'd stay away from Cuba and starve the dollars that Cuba brings in for its economy. Make it as hard as possible and some people will choose to go elsewhere, I. E. Colombia, D.R. Etc.

Enjoy your trip and report when you come back.

I just got back from a four-night trip to Havana on Monday. I was my first time in Cuba and I traveled solo direct through Miami. I do speak (adult learned and not perfect but good) Spanish.

I had a great time. I didn't find it that much more primitive third world than say Colombia. There were no lights on the streets and lots of huge potholes, smog and noise but there lots of great bars and restaurants. I've seen people here disparage the "tourist traps" like the Floridita and Bodeguita del Medio but I had a great time at those places. The drinks are excellent and great Cuban music. Both were Hemingway hangouts and are full of international tourists. Being an American myself I can say this tourist places where there are not many Americans are a lot less obnoxious LOL.

A quick comment to the question as to whether it would be easier to fly through a third country vs. Using the "support of the Cuban people" exemption and flying direct. The entire extent of the inquiry into my using that category of exemption was the American Airlines counter person asking which exemption I was flying under. It never came up again at any point in the traveling. I put together a minimal journal and had it with me, but no one ever asked. The only thing the US immigration person asked was whether I had any alcohol or tobacco products. On the Cuban side they looked at my passport, visa and health print out, didn't stamp anything and said welcome to Cuba. I think it's safe to say at least in my experience no one on either side gives a $hit that you are going to Cuba.

Another thing that comes up all the time is whether the casa Airbnb will allow visitors. I got one that was listed as "entire apartment for your use" and in the rules only said one guest at a time. I had no problem at all. The owner and the host person wasn't around and the neighbors didn't care. On Sunday night a girl had to step over some neighbors on the front step to come up and no one cared or was surprised at all.

The host set me up with a SIM card and took me to someone's house to change dollars at 255. I changed $600 and honestly it was too much. I couldn't find ways to spend that much in four days even including the girls.

Yea so the girls. Absolutely super high quality. Walking through parque central or san Rafael anytime after dark there are tons of super beautiful girls of all types. I did not see even one police person. I'm sure they are there but I didn't see them. The fact that it's so dark everywhere makes it easier. My experience was you can talk to them without a problem. On my second night a totally sweet little 18 yo approached me in parque central before I even got rolling. She already had her identification out LOL. She had a big unattractive friend who stayed back. Without me even asking she said $20 US. We sealed that with a DFK right there and just gave her my address and said stop by in an hour. Pretty much wifed up after that. Once I had her in the light she was almost flawless with only a couple of small tattoos and tiny bit of smoker's breath. She was my perfect right off the farm type. She didn't know how to handle herself so just treated me like any boyfriend. I have had black girls before but always sort of quickies never really got to luxuriate over one. Wow that skin was something I will remember. I brought some Victoria secrets things and that sent her into another level. Suddenly wanted photos and videos. She actually wanted to wear one of the cute little things home and I had to tell her she couldn't wear that on the street LOL. Needless to say I was a lot more generous than $20.

Yea it was a great trip.

So I just arrive in Cuba again this year, this time staying 2 months mostly in Varadero to kitesurf and relax. I went 1 month last year so I'm not a newbie and well prepared this time. Thought I'd give some intel how the situation is right now.

Can you advise as to how to best use badoo in havana? Can you do preliminary research? Or does it only work once on the ground there?

Any tips for 1st time user. ?

I know Havana well but would love to add badoo to the repertoire.

Thanks!

Instead of picking up street walkers.I've posted about this place before, it's called La Esencia. Mostly civies and a few UTR's before Covid they used to have specials on Fridays and the place was packed. Link below. On my trip this year I didn't make it so let's know if you visit. FYI, on Mondays I was told they have gay night.

I did gave some langerie too and she allowed me to take lot of pics and videos. Even after 1 month I am still remembering her and cannot get over from my head. Feel like going again.

I have made the prior arragements before landing as we don't want to take chances being 3 amigos and 3 chicas needed for every night. We paid around $50 for each though we all had one or two sessions max.

$20 or $30 overnight is a deal for sure and achievabale if you speak spanish and give some toiletries and / or cloths or kids stuff.

Just booked an Airbnb. There has been some chatter of this thread about how to tell if a casa is girl friendly. I'll tell you what I did.

I chose smaller buildings. They don't have a doorman. Just a tip from other cities. Doormen can be tough.

Then, I simply asked the host via Airbnb chat. Do you allow me to bring a guest?

Every single one, even the female hosts, wrote back and said no problem. I reached out to about five thinking maybe water or two would say yes. All five said fine. Some said they have to register or take a picture of their ID for my own protection. Which I get. (So they can't disappear into the night after stealing).

Really it was no problem. I get the sense a lot of people ask this.

Yes, FAC is a no-bariner. Hopefully it is not closed when you are there. It closes after the NY for a few weeks.

MONDO: What abiout Essencia? I am going to check it out. Can you describe it the tell us what it has to offer? Hot single women or hot working women? Or both? QUOTE.

The times I've been there I saw mostly working gals (not hustlers) real work. Saw a few hustlers as is the case in la Habana at most clubs, but mostly single women looking to meet people and have a good time. Saw everything from a 5 to 9 in the hotness scale.

San Rafael Blvd (from Parque Central to Parque Fe de Valle) is the most obvious place to start. You will see hookers dressed up like sluts, but usually not soliciting at any time of day and until at least 2 am. The girls are young and good looking. Mostly black with banging bodies, but there are some lighter skinned Latinas too. I saw one that I liked at about 8 pm on a Saturday. She was light-skinned and a tough negotiator. I paid $60 for an hour and the privilege of shooting my jizz on her face. She was really hot and she knew it. She initially offered $100, I countered with $50. She said $60, and I said only if I get to cum on your face. She agreed and told me she would follow me from a distance to my place. Service was awesome. Got to fuck her in lots of positions before unloading on her face. Worth we'll over $60 to me.

V&S Club: it's on Galliano in between Concordia and Virtudes. The location on google is incorrect. This place is point and click. No rooms on-site. Probably 3 or 4 times as many girls as guys. On a crowded night there were probably 40 chicas. On a slow night there were 20. At 10 pm the club is dead. It is rocking at 1 am. The street girls congregate here and at a restaurant across the street. You won't miss them. I found a light Latina that I thought was sexy and began negotiations. I told her I wanted her the whole night, and she offered $70. I asked in pesos, and she said 20 k ($74 at 270:1). I countered with 12 k, and we agreed to 15 k ($55 for the whole night). We taxi'the back to my place and she blew my fucking mind. Right up there with the best sex I've ever had with a hooker. The Lloyd lyric "but she fuck me like she Cuban" was all starting to make sense. And she was so sweet. It's a good thing I don't speak Spanish, because this girl would have convinced me to marry her on my vacation to Cuba. I have mongered in lots of places and know that hookers are excellent manipulators, but the girls in Cuba are on a different level, and it feels good not going to lie. I fucked her a few more times in the morning and then got breakfast with her.

Cuban Art Factory: Saw lots of good looking girls, but wasn't sure who was a pro or who was a tourist. If someone could provide a guide for this place, it'the be helpful.

Malecon: was dead. Was told it's always dead in the winter.

Overall thoughts: Cuba is not the best place I have mongered, but it's not bad. I didn't think the chicas were as hot as in Brazil or Colombia, but I do think Cuban girls have the prettiest faces in the entire world. Cubana eyes do it for me. And there are plenty of thin young girls with Cuban eyes in Cuba. And it's affordable. The country itself sucks to visit right now — hard to find good food, American cards don't work, and generally everything is harder in Cuba than in other, better known countries for mongering. But the mongering is still good, bordering on great, depending on what you're looking for.

Gents a question if anyone knows. I have reservations at some pretty upscale paladares. Was hoping to meet some Cuban honeys and invite them for dinners.

But then I read in some places that it's really discouraged for Cubans to hang with tourists, and police will hassle them.

Does this make taking a local to a paladar hard?

Like you said Cuba is a shit place to go at this time people are desesperate and some guys still spoil the girls like they were living in Spain. Even in Europe I would pay less for a latina than what you paid for a street working girl. These days you can get them for 5 k or even 3 k for the night but of course you have to know how to handle them you don't ask them how much they want you tell them how much you pay period. If a girl was quoting me 100 $ I would laugh and tell her to get lost. Some people don't respect themselves here. Learn Spanish and how to bargain or stay home please.

Also, I was not interested in the average street girl. Only the hottest ones. A girl who isn't struggling to garner interest isn't going to accept $12 for the whole night when there is a street full of tourists taking peeks at her outfit. I'm not a beginner when it comes to negotiating, but I'm sure my Spanish did cost me extra. You can for sure get an average street girl for under $40, but it depends what you want. To each his own.

One of the things people in Cuba love is eating out, but since most of them don't have the means ($$$'s) to do this, it makes it hard for them to eat out.

I do this every time I go. You'll score plenty of points by doing it.

I paid $55 with no extras, just BBBJ which is maybe standard anyway? And I paid $60 for ST with a facial. Too much? Yeah probably for a local, but I doubt it was way too much as you're implying. 3 k is less than $12. You can find a super ugly hooker for that I'm sure, but not a stunner.

The first time is back in 2013 where I used to pay $20 for whole night and most of the time bareback depends on the chics I get (mostly in small towns near holguin).

The last visit is 2 months back and ended up paying $50 whole night again. Repeated two nights straight because of the service and decent looking and good body.

If I would spoken spanish, I would have scored much better locals (restaurent waitresses and shop keepers).

Send me PM and will share the pics which you can compare if we both paid similar prices and similar quality chics.

BTW. The chica I repeated twice stays outside of havana and not a regular ST. Hence I felt its worth $50 for each day and night.

I planned a trip to Havana in early February for three days after reading the posts over the last 12 months. Several potential countries were considered, and thanks to ISG members, Cuba emerged at the top of the list due to things such as easy access, quick flights, and relative safety.

Based upon ISG postings and recommendations, planning included:

1. Renting an AirBnB in Old Havana where the landlord offers "the entire space" instead of living in the home. The owner does NOT live in the same building and there are only a couple of units in the rental building. I realize the AirBnB route costs more, but fortunately I am not on a super-tight budget where $80-$100 a night seems overly expensive.

2. Finding a landlord who will exchange money, provide transport to and from the airport, and provide a local phone and WiFi.

3. Finding a location not too far but not in the middle of the attractions and evening festivities. It's near Habana and Pena Pobre, a bit north but walkable.

4. Registering with Badoo via the computer and said I am in Old Habana, and will have to wait to see how that goes. Right now, Badoo only matched with older women. Apparently there is a skill involved in finding younger pros on the program. That said, I am selective and chose not to "like" the majority of younger women who have huge tattoos. I simply don't find huge tattoos attractive.

5. Installed Badoo on the cellular phone.

6. Have made a list of things to bring such as toiletries, over-the-counter medications, protection, snacks, etc.

7. Will bring smaller bills in US currency. This is different from other destinations such as Thailand and the Dominican Republic.

Thanks again, and if you see anything missed in preparation, please offer your recommendations.

Interesting, you have no fear of being mugged walking around at night? Even some of the Cubanas I talk to say they fear Havana at night. I'm not a generally fearful person, but I do believe in situational awareness. In the US I (legally) carry a gun, but I still avoid bad areas at night. One can legally carry a knife in Cuba BTW, but best case scenario, "I won a knife fight with a mugger in Cuba? Yikes. Fortunately, I am going in January (was going to PM you but I am out of anon BTC to get a membership), so it will be much cooler (than my August trip) and I can explore more during the day. As for evenings, that's what cabs are for IMO, but YMMV.

But never apologize for having fun. My first trip 20 years ago I went to Floridita (good place for a daiquiri) and Bodeguita del Medio (I bought a souvenir lighter there that still works!) But I am not looking to hang with tourists, and there are so many other bars that aren't tourist traps. I really hope the Art Factory is open, because I didn't make it last trip.

One thing I have noticed, people are fleeing Cuba in droves, and it is a lot easier now as they can go via Central America. Like 5% of the population has fled recently due to the atrocious economic conditions (even by communist standards). Several of the ladies I have chatted with (and are contacts in my WhatsApp) have left to other counties, or are talking about doing so. So yeah while the current US admin might be great for us to travel to Cuba, it's also great for Cubans to travel here due to essentially wide open borders and zero enforcement or repatriation. You've heard of a brain drain? Well there seems to be a hottie drain.

One more point. There's always the guy on these forums who tells us how to spend our money ("don't overpay like some Spaniard!) Sorry / not sorry to the poors, but you get what you pay for, and I can afford it. As if you get respect for yourself by being cheap as hell with people desperate for money? Get real! I live like a boss there and pay and tip well, so I have girls desperate for me to return.

Anyone else going in January?

Especially if you stay around the Capitolio area, lots of pitch dark streets in that area if lights go out.

I just bought a couple from Amazon. What I like about these are the option to have the battery recharge via USB cable (they come with a rechargeable battery) and also they can use regular AAA batteries. Link below.

BTW, if you click with a honey before coming back gift it to her and I'm sure she'll "love you long time" haha.

I also like my cup of joe when I get up, cafe con leche (latte) so I take espresso coffee along with dry milk (milk was very hard to find when I was there this past January) I also take brown sugar. All rental apartments have an espresso coffee maker, the screw on type cubanos use. Make sure to buy something like La Llave espresso which is not too fine. 10 oz brick pack will last you for a whole month.

Your boarding pass serves as proof of health insurance if you were ticketed from the USA. Travel insurance covers your trip, luggage, etc. Most things during a trip to Cuba are not prepaid, so there is little / no risk in losing money for prepaid events.

Thank you for the recommendations. According to the rental AirBnB, "No power outages or outages in this area of the city!" That said, several reports in ISG indicate the streets are extremely dark at night. Based upon your recommendation and those reports, flashlights like the ones you recommended and will be packed for the trip. A fellow travel partner drinks coffee, so those recommendations prove helpful. Dry milk, brown sugar, and espresso coffee will be added to the list. What is the purpose of the brown sugar? My travel friend loves cigars, so part of the trip will undoubtedly revolve around finding good Cuban cigars to enjoy in Cuba.

Also, American Airlines broke down the cost of my ticket and shows the mandated Cuban "Government Health Insurance" charge.

Secondly, the United States Department of State website addresses this on their official website:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Cuba.html

On the State Department website go down to "Health" and expand that by clicking the "+" on the gray bar at the far right. You will then see that Cuba requires airlines to supply people embarking from the United States with health insurance. That is why it's important to keep your flight information and boarding pass as proof of insurance as the member in post 1746 stated.

I read reports dating back a year before scheduling the upcoming trip. Some of the reports proved quite useful. I apologize for the small font on the links, but the information to find the original information from original sources is provided if you need larger font.

Certainly not flying from Canada, and I suspect not from Mexico or other places that you can fly from. You have to have your own insurance and some proof. Nothing to do with the airline or your ticket. So I guess that's a heads up for anyone flying from other places into Cuba.

OK. Only from US I guess. Certainly not flying from Canada, and I suspect not from Mexico or other places that you can fly from. You have to have your own insurance and some proof. Nothing to do with the airline or your ticket. So I guess that's a heads up for anyone flying from other places into Cuba. You may or may not be correct, depending upon the country of origin. You need to look into the laws of the country from which you enter Cuba to make an entirely correct statement. You could also contact Cuban authorities to determine how to purchase the insurance one gets when purchasing an American ticket into Cuba. Or you could fly through the US into Cuba.

Certainly flying into Cuba from a USA location, your ticket has everything do do with proof of insurance. From other countries will be based upon that country of origin and the arrangement with the Cuban government.

The following information is from the US State Department here: https://cu.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/doctors/.

It indicates foreign visitors seeing medical care are generally referred to the Clinica Central Cira Garcia Hospital, (which provides medical services for foreign residents in Cuba) and indicates one can purchase the Cuban Health Insurance upon arrival in Cuba:

https://cu.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/doctors/

Cuba requires visitors to have non-USA Medical insurance, which is usually included in airline ticket prices on flights originating in the United States or CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE AIRPORT UPON ARRIVAL TO CUBA. Ensure you have the necessary insurance coverage prior to arrival and keep your boarding pass. You will need it to obtain medical care.

Travelers to the Havana area should be aware that USA And other foreign visitors seeking medical care are generally referred to the Clinica Central Cira Garcia Hospital, which provides medical services for foreign residents in Havana. The hospital is in the Miramar neighborhood of Havana. Medical consultations and treatment at Cuban hospitals generally require payment by a Visa or Mastercard credit card.

The site in Canada is here and also states you purchase the insurance UPON ARRIVAL:

https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/cuba

It reads:

Health insurance.

You must show proof of valid health insurance to enter Cuba.

All health insurance policies are recognized in Cuba, except those issued by USA Insurance companies. However, the Cuban immigration authorities will decide which proof of health insurance is acceptable.

Proof of health insurance may be:

An insurance policy.

An insurance certificate.

A Canadian provincial health insurance card.

If you don't have proof of health insurance or if the proof you present doesn't satisfy the Cuban immigration authorities, YOU MAY HAVE TO OBTAIN HEALTH INSURANCE FORM A CUBAN INSURANCE COMPANY UPON ARRIVAL. This insurance may have limited coverage. Local authorities may refuse your entry to the country.

Canadian provincial health care coverage provides very limited coverage outside Canada. It won't pay for medical bills up-front. It does not include air evacuation, and neither does Cuban health insurance.

Cuban authorities won't let you leave the country with outstanding medical bills, which are payable by credit card only. You will need to remain in Cuba until all debts are paid.

Make sure you purchase the best health insurance you can afford.

Ensure the insurance includes medical evacuation and hospital stays.

I am from Canada and I fly from Canada and have had my proof of insurance with me when I travelled and have never had an issue. My healthcare card might satisfy the Cuban authority, but it is not sufficient as there is virtually no coverage outside of Canada, so having additional coverage is very important. But the airline has no part in monitoring it or ensuring that you have it, at least the last times I have been to Cuba (all pre pandemic).

Total:I'm not disputing that is what your ticket from the USA has included. But that only applies to tickets from the USA, not from Canada or other places. So we have to take care of the insurance requirements in other ways. That was / is my only point. Don't assume it is included if you fly from Canada, Europe, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, etc. Etc. Now if you are flying to a Cuban resort on a Canadian charter I expect there may be some insurance as part of your cost. But not for just regular flights.

I'm doing a little scouring on tinder, trying to set up dates for when I arrive. A couple of observations to share so we all have some intel.

Most of the girls are open to my suggesting pay for play. Even on a normal dating site.

I am offering 10,000 pesos. This seems so cheap of me since the market exchange rate seems to be 200 pesos per dollar. So 50 US dollars. They are snapping it up. I feel kind of bad about that. 50 bucks? I am considering just giving big bonus for extra good time so my guilt is assuaged.

I have not yet broached sleepovers. Specifically if girls can sleep over. In Mexico it's tough sometimes because girls live with their parents till they get married. Not always but often. I'm realizing I should have made clear that's what I want when I made my offers.

Today's exchange rate on the streets is like 265 to 270 CP to 1 USD.

As far as extra $'s for good time, that's up to you but a suggestion on my part, taking some sexy underwear to gift 'them is a good idea. Also, chocolate bars are big. Last thing in case you want to win her big time take a espresso coffee brick pack (I usually bring La Llave 10 oz) available at most Spanish grocery stores here in USA.

Hoping for good times and report when you come back.

Let me ask you a few things.

Where did you change money? I have been given advice that I should ask my Airbnb host. Which I will. But just in case they don't give me a good rate. Like if they're taking a cut. So I have a backup.

Bring what kind of chocolate? Nice stuff like Godiva or Sees, or just stuff like snickers and KitKat.

Bring what kind of chocolate? Nice stuff like Godiva or Sees, or just stuff like snickers and KitKat.Since I go regualrly I have a couple of people that exchange for me. You prolly should 1st go with your Airbnb host and try him / her 1st. Make sure you find out what the street rate is that day (google havana street rate usd to cp) 2nd option is Obispo street in old Habana (this place is bustling with tourists, so plenty of people there to exchange with) just make sure not to go too far since there's always a possibility of getting jacked (very low possibility though).

Remember also that in Cuba everybody that will do a transaction for you will take a cut, so let's say the exchange rate that day is 270 to 1, they might tell you that they exchange it for you at 265 or 260 per 1 usd. If it's not that much I'd go with the host rather than do it on the street, but again that's just me. Also, this past January one of my contacts exchanged 100 usd for me, problem was I got all small bills (5's, 10's, 20 pesos bills) it's literally like getting to bricks, no kidding. So, try and get at least 50's, 100's and 500's pesos bills. I've heard it's difficult to get the 1000 notes. The point being a 500 peso bill is like less than 2 bucks.

As far as chocolate, I buy a few bars at Tj's (trader joes) they go for $1. 99 each but any thing you'd give her she'll love.

Why would you feel bad? $50 is a lot of money in Cuba. For the reason you probably assume. Like I'll spend 500 bucks on a round trip ticket there, 90/ night for a nice airbnb / casa particular, eat at the nicest paladares, but then calculate how little I can pay these girls? It seems wrong. Like if I can give them 100 dollars or 20 k pesos it's no skin off of me. I won't notice it. But they will. I'm thinking I'll just offer incentives for particularly good dates.

Since I also hear bottled water is scarce in the small street mercados. Most stores will take cash, if you push, but the government stores demand the card, and the hotels prefer the card to reduce theft (but I was able to pay in cash for drinks at the Grand Packard and at both the Parque Central cigar lounge and store). The MLC card is definitely worth buying, and it can be bought right outside the airport, like teller windows you walk up to at a bank. Last time I bought 2 $100 cards, and used them mostly in hotels and cigar stores and mercados. The problem is it's hard to check the balances, so keep track of what you spend. There is a store right across the street from the airport that sells bottled water (and they want the card!) and some other sundries like beer and rum, and another store that sells Cubacel SIMs and plans. I'm going to hit all three errands as soon as I grab my bags from the carousel, MLC, SIM, and some agua, before I even get in a cab. One stop shopping!

Does anyone know the real time frame you're supposed to fill out the Cuban government registration thingy? Last time I did it like 28 hours before, but I've seen different numbers, a minimum of 24 hours, a maximum of 48 hours, 72 hours, etc. Typical Cuban, no straight answers anywhere.

Anyway I'm going to Havana again next week. Wish me luck!

First, you pick the one category (usually support for the Cuban people) pay for it and go on to board the plane. Prices vary according which airline you fly. I think the cheapest is JetBlue which was going for $50, last time I checked, that's if you are flying with them.
As far as I know the issuer is an authorized agency not the airliner itself.

Nice thing about Havana is that it's easy to get laid for free. Maybe there is extremely little 'point and click' such as the amazing scenes in Brazil, Colombia, etc. It's true.

But in Havana, unlike those countries, it's easy to get laid for free. Sometimes by a purely honest woman. Sometimes but one that wants (NEEDS) somebody to take them out or hang at the house to drink, eat, fuck. Yes, you are paying for the time in a sense, but no differently than in most countries where dating norms make it costly ti take a beautiful woman out.

Please do share. How did you pull this off? Specific spots you went hunting?Cuban women are direct and like to fuck. It's that simple. If you're straight forward with them, they will usually give you their number. Do they expect you to pay for a date. Food, drinms etc? Yes, of course. But that's the norm most everywhere. Do they all ask for straight cash fro fuck? Nope. Plenty of non-jineteras are happy enough to hang out with you and enjoy what comes with that. Maybe they ask you to bring them some medicine next time you visit, but no harm in that.

This is not about one place in particular. Just be straight whenever you come across a woman you like. Get their digits and make it happen.

Some Spanish is necessary.

I have been reading the Havana thread all the way back, but I just took out a membership.

My story: I've been travelling to Cuba since 2010, been there round 20 times.

I'll be there again from the 13th of January till the 5th of February.

I have been staying at the same casa for years, in Vedado near the hotel Habana Libre.

Problem is, they had some major damage with their plumbing in the bathroom and cannot rent it for awhile.

I asked the owner to find me another casa in the same building as the neighborhood really suits me.

He did but the new owner is adamant they do not accept "guests".

I went on and reserved it anyway and I figured I can search for a more suitable place once I'm there.

Could anybody suggest a suitable place?

Ideally in the same neighborhood, say between 21-J-27-M.

I looked around in Airbnb and found some promising ones, but I'd rather commit after I see them from up close.

Budget is between say 30 and 45 euros (or dollars they have almost the same value nowadays).

I paid for a membership, so I can receive pm.

I realize I may be asking too much as a new user, but I promise I'll send frequent reports from the ground and share info and tips.

Thanks.

El Griego.

You heard this right, I spent 10 days in and around Havana in August of 2015, can hardly believe it myself.

I have been living full time in Medellin, Colombia for some years now and thinking of a visit this year 2024 to Cuba, generally how is the situation? The chicas? The pricing? Availability?

Thanks for your reply's and suggestions.

The Tall Man.

Here is my original trip review of my 10 day Cuba visit on Post #4193 dated 9-8-15 on these forums:

Havana Cuba trip report - 10 days in August 2015.

Trip report 10 days in Havana August 2015.

Preface Throughout my 10 days in and around Havana I could not help but wonder how different my experience and perhaps disappointment would have been because of the changes in Cuba and P4 P challenges if I had chosen to travel to Cuba instead of Brazil back in 2000 and 2001. But at a simple "flip of a coin" decision and Brazil and European destinations won out and I enjoyed my multiple trips to San Paulo and Rio back in the day.

I do know for an absolute certainty that if I did not have my fellow veteran travel partner Americano573, whom was so gracious to take me under his wing, if not for him my experience in Cuba would have been completely different, so I owe a big debt of gratitude to Americano573. His command of Spanish (this cannot be overstated in its importance in Cuba) his story's & experiences from his 14 plus years of travel throughout all of Cuba, the relationships that he has formed, the way he has adapted to the changes and the manner in which he has mastered his "game" is not only fascinating to watch first hand in action but best of all he unselfishly shares this information (women too) with a Cuban travel newbie as myself. There are others who have sent me suggestions via PM on this board who I wish to thank.

Much has already been written about Havana regards the girls, the police, the bars, the SW scene, the beaches, the pros, the pimps, the hassles, the hustle, the food, the casa particulars, the scams, the heat as yes August 2015 was very hot, and know that it is all spot on so not much to add to this that has not already been discussed in detail.

By design, this being my first trip to Cuba, I decided to stay in the Vedado area for the whole stay. We were roomies together in the same casa which was a god send. This proved very useful as its location is good central spot. You can very quickly spend a sizable amount of money on all the taxi fares for you and carting around your girls. The casa accommodations are relatively reasonable at 25 CUC a day but you can easily spend 20 to 60 CUC a day when you want to go and play.

The best advice I can give others is to learn some Spanish and if not you, like myself, will be a distant last place when it comes to the P4 P scene and your enjoyment factor. Fortunately my partner Americano573 speaks great Spanish and he took concern for me for the best possible enjoyment that I had with the girls.

The second best advice is do not trust anyone in Cuba as they ALL are out to get something from you. There are scams in every crevice of Havana's P4 P scene especially when it comes to taxi and restaurant meals and girls. I have been in many places in the world and I saw first hand how well they play the scam games. I saw first hand all the BS that goes on at the music / dance clubs. After one visit I will never step foot in these places ever again. The girl prices are absurd and frankly beyond ruin.

In my stay I enjoyed the company of about 5 girls a with a few hand picked by my friend. These were from other areas of Cuba so they were low volume provincial girls. I would argue that the vast majority of girls from Havana are spoiled and ruined because of the way some guys throw money at them. So yes IMHO you must get out of Havana to have any real enjoyment other than just a quick short term experience.

So would I recommend Cuba? Will I return? I could only recommend outside Havana and only if you speak some Spanish and are clever and have some "game" to you. This is not a Tijuana experience where you walk into Hong Kong bar and see a hundred very willing and doable Latin girls for $60-$80 no you have to work at your Cuban experience. I would only return if I would spend my time outside of Havana and if I spoke Spanish or had a great wingman as I did.

In summary I am glad I had the experience and adventure of seeing a new place. Cuba is a place that you must see at least once in your life if not for the P4 P scene but also for the country and friendly people. Not once did I feel threatened, hassled yes but in danger no! BTW I was never hassled like we get hassled in Tijuana at the bars, at most one tenth of what we endure in Tijuana.

Without the consent of my friend Americano573 I will not disclose his program but I can say what a program it is, it has taken him years to perfect and he reaps the rewards each day of his time in Cuba. It actually is incredible how much fun and different girls he has all throughout the island. The difference is that he puts in a great deal of effort and I saw first hand the benefits and even enjoyed a few side benefits myself. Thanks again my brother from another mother.

Know that these are my observations and experiences and yours may be different. That is OK. There are many details left out of this report but suffice to say that these are highlights only meant to provide information to others interested in visiting Cuba.

The Tall Man.

Good to know. My Spanish is quite strong. I've been trying to lock up dates beforehand via the Internet but maybe I should just plan on going there and having the balls to walk up to girls.Nothing wrong with getting ahead of the game and I wouldn't dissuade you from checking out Badoo. But you're on the right track. Be spontaneous and direct. Once you have a number and commitment to go out, it's touch to screw up from there.

Yea it was a great trip.Great report, and you solidified everything I have been saying about Havana. You can get top of the line girls very easily for $20 -$30. Police aren't bothering people, and there's plenty of resources through out the city. I can't wait to return in March!

El Griego.I had to stay at the place I booked Saturday night, the one I couldn't bring visitors to.

Sunday, I found another one, visitor friendly.

The owner doesn't insist he registers guests, but I promised I'll take a picture of their carné and send it to him by whatsup.

This keeps the girls honest too, knowing someone else has a picture of their ID.

So far I only hooked up with a lady friend I've known from previous trips, on Sunday and Monday.

Today I was too knackered, walked all day, so I went home early and alone.

Other than that I've been overdosing on live music, the other reason I came.

LosVan Van, Alaíand Pérez etc.

A couple of tips, as promised:

Take a photocopy of your passport and carry that in your wallet, leave the passport in your room.

Get a cuban mobile number, and charge it at www ding.com.

There's a quintuple offer till the end of January, whatever you pay, you get 5 times the saldo in pesos.

Use the taxis colectivos if you can: Vedado to La Habana Vieja for 150 pesos. The normal fare is around 2500 to 3000 pesos in a modern yellow taxi.

Saludos.

Hi,

I'm I've been living in Medellin for the past 4 months and my spanish is decent. I came here looking for a girlfriend. Yet the only girls that I match with on dating sites are working girls and I joined salsa clubs, roller skating clubs and went to language exchanges yet it seems like in Medellin many (not all) local normal non working girls look down on dating foreigner guys, but when I first went to Medellin in 2017, so many local girls wanted to know who I was, where I was coming from and had so many questions about why I am in Colombia.

My friend told me that Havana is a place where you can meet a girl and have a relationship with her and the relationship won't be so transactional.

Is this true? I've never been to Cuba, so any info you guys give me would be very helpful.

Learn Spanish and how to bargain or stay home please.Exactly, there is no way people should be spending even close to $100 for all night with a chica in Havana.

The Cuban girls work slower but they know the game.

Its always about the money or you getting them out of the country.

Most girls are juggling a few tourist boyfriends like girls in Colombia, DR, Brazil ect.

They are hoping for money one way or the other. If they were just looking for love they would want someone who lives there at the very least.

Hey guys, how are the girls like with the use of condoms in Cuba? Is it mandatory with many or do they have a more care free attitude with doms?

Hey guys, how are the girls like with the use of condoms in Cuba? Is it mandatory with many or do they have a more care free attitude with doms?Ugh, this question.

Honestly, the income disparity is so vast that you can probably fairly easily get a girl to go sans. But you shouldn't. I swear I assume any guy who asks this question has already contracted the viral lifelong infections and just don't care anymore. Look, any girl you pay for sex has gotten paid by others for sex. You're not planting a flag. Part of the hobby is learning to make do with protection so you're not exposing yourself to things you don't already have, if there are any of those even still left at this point.

Hey guys, how are the girls like with the use of condoms in Cuba? Is it mandatory with many or do they have a more care free attitude with doms? The "dom" comment had me laughing since most who consider themselves "dom" are self-identified. However, that self-identification has nothing to do with why Cuban women don't require condoms.

The reason many women in third-world countries don't require a man to utilize a condom has more to do with the lack of availability of condoms. If you don't bring condoms and they are not available in Cuba, logically you will be having unprotected sex.

On January 17,2023, in the Havana Times, it stated. "HAVANA TIMES The shortage of condoms in pharmacies and health centers is taking a heavy toll on Cuban families with a rise in sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), as well as unwanted pregnancies and abortions, said Dr. Deglis Luciano, head of the Program of STDs in the province of Guantanamo. " The article further stated, "The condom shortage is not a recent issue in Cuba, but it worsened with the covid-19 pandemic. A publication in this newspaper in 2020 found that pharmacies did not have the product in their inventories, considered one of the most efficient because it is a barrier to the spread of diseases and unwanted pregnancies. The only places where they could be found, and with a limited supply, was in stores that accept payment only in CUC (the USD equivalent that no longer exists), but at a prohibitive price for Cubans. ".

Hello Lion,

The best piece of advice is this: don't. Just avoid it.

I could tell you a million stories, but let me give you just 2 or 3.

A friend of mine, who was one of thw weathiest friends I had when we were in our late 20's, got himself a Cuban GF in Havana, dated her for a year, and then he took her out of the country to live with him. She was very nice at first, loving, etc. But then my friend's business colapsed and he didn't have money anymore, so this Cuban chick just left him. Like they say, money runs out, love runs out.

Another friend had a Cuban GF, he took her out of the country, and the very first night she said she was not feeling ok when staying at my friends house and that she preferred to spend the 1st night at a hotel. It was all part of her plan, because the very next morning my friend went to her hotel to pick her up and she had left him by going to the US border to ask for asylum (there was this dry feet wet feet policy back then that if you arrived by foot as a cuban, you could ask for asylum).

Me? I didn't have as bad luck as them, I had a GF, just visited many times, but never took her out of the country. Got bored of her so I stopped seeing her or calling her. A few months ago after many years, I sent her an email, we exchanged numbers and staring chatting by whatsapp. In less than 3-4 days she asked me for money to buy an air conditioner because it was too hot in havana. Of course I didn't send her anything and just stopped texting her.

So, I'm tellling you all this so that you know that Cuban women (not all of course, but most of them) will see you as an ATM, just as a money giving robot. Its one of the worst decisions you could ever make. Finding a cuban woman who will love you for you as a foreigner, well, its easier that you win the powerball. Its extremely difficult youll find love there. The country is a complete mess, even more than 17 years ago since I went there for the 1st time, everyone wants to leave, so do yourself a favor and do not do it.

Fun thing is that when me and my friends started dating these cuban women, we were in our 20's, we were young guys, so now that we are in our 40's, well, its a lot less likely that they like us for what we are, since we are old guys.

I could recommend that you look for a Mexican woman, maybe Spanish too. You might have better luck with those than with a cuban. Not sure what your friend told you, but he definitely has no idea about what's going on.

Cheers.

PS You can go to cuba, get a Gf but never try to take her out of the country, just go there, visit her, fuck her and have fun, youll have to help her with some money and thats it. if u take her out of the country, your problems will begin, big time, fighting, cheating, spending all ur money, leave u, etc, so avoid that situation and never marry her or take her out of the country, trust me.

Agree 100% with the previous poster and it's not unique to Cuba. For any country where we pursue this hobby, taking the girl out of her country is a terrible decision. You will get screwed every single time. Even building a relationship with a pro or semi-pro in her own country is probably not wise, but the problems multiply if you take her out.

When abroad in the military, I saw several service members fall for pros, semi-pros and the girls who "never did this with a foreigner before. " It happened all over the world, in Asia, Europe, South America, etc. Each and every time, bringing a girl back to the USA ended in disaster for the service members, some lost only money, others friends, military careers, etc. I would like to say only young service members fell prey to the trap, but the expression, "there is no fool like an old fool," proved to include service members.

Well, I'm back in the US after two weeks on the island. And it is good to be home and breathe fresh air, have potable water, and be where I can relax and eat anything without fear of a gastrointestinal disaster (in Cuba I generally live off of protein bars, cheese / salami & crackers, and a few other things I make there).

Anyway, a good trip. My contacts were solely through Badoo and Bumble. I also had some repeat amigas that I looked up again after my last trip in August. If I can give any advice, it's set yourself up in advance with Badoo. And by "in advance" I mean *months* in advance. Some girls get a little data on their phones, create a Badoo profile, but are gone quickly (and sometimes, forever) when their data runs out. You have to strike and get their Whatsapp within a few PM's, and then you are set unless they change their number. If you are really motivated to have a great trip with lots of variety and don't just want to hook up with anything with a hole (I. E. , you have standards and high motivation), it's a process that you must go through to curate a stable of your type of chicas. This means regularly checking Badoo for new profiles a few times a week (months before your trip), and making contact, and getting those Whatsapp numbers. You can't wait until your trip to start looking if you want to find the stars.

With that said, some are extremely flaky, or live too far away for taxis, so be sure to find out how close they live to your casa. Some will just ghost. Some suddenly start just getting one checkmark on your PM's, which means message not delivered. Phone lost, stolen, or new phone number? Who knows, just poof. This is why you build a little rapport with them over time, to keep them motivated to see you. My advice is, if you want 10 girls in 10 nights, you'd better have 20 whataspp numbers. This is work, boys!

To me it is reminiscent of recruiting in college sports. First you have to ID and locate the talent, then you need to convince them to come on your team. Once they meet me, they are locked in because I take care of them. I actually had a few of my repeats mad at me that I didn't see them on my first night (see my entitlement discussion below)! But honestly it was like herding cats, getting them to show up and not end up with a lost night. My advice is to book them earlier in the day, so that if they flake, you can sub in a plan be from your bullpen. But the hard part is getting them to come for that first visit without flaking. Appointment dates and times, like much of Latin America, are general guidelines in Cuba. They will invariably be late.

My Spanish is minimal but improved from last visit (I've been using the Babbel app). But that is unimportant on Badoo since you can just use a translator app. By the time you see them in person, maybe PM them that you are not great at spoken Spanish, and they'll need to talk slowly and you'll be using a traductir (translator) (habla mas despacio por favor!) I was surprised how well Google Translate app could pick up one of my all-stars' machine gun spoken Spanish. (Be sure to download the proper dictionaries so you can use offline). Anyway, for those with weak Spanish, get a Badoo profile and Google Translate.

Ask what they want you to bring them (one girl asked for Nutella! Nutella FFS! So I brought her a jar of that and she was thrilled). Also, you cannot bring too much chocolate. Buy a few of those Hershey's 6-packs and you can't go wrong. And of course bring a full medicine (Immodium laxative analgesic tums antihistamine burn itch antibiotic cremes, etc) and bandage kit for yourself, which you can give away at the end. The girls with kids will really appreciate meds. I even brought my own beer and energy drinks (although I was overweight at the airport despite 2 free 70 lbs checked bags and I had to leave some of my beer with the baggage lady).

And don't forget such gifts for your AirBNB hosts and their employees (whom you should be tipping). You definitely want them on your side.

Some thoughts:

First thing after I collected my baggage, bought an MLC card with $200 on it (the currency exchange stores are on the outside of the airport building), and then across the street from Jose Marti Airport to the mini mall and the ETECSA store for my Cubacel SIM and activation. I don't know how you would call your AirBNB hosts otherwise. There's also a store there that has bottled water.

It was definitely easier to explore on foot during the day versus August, much cooler. There were actually a couple of days that were so windy, it was too chilly to go out!

I didn't walk around after dark, so my street interaction information is limited. I will say that the Paseo Prado is a great walk in the late afternoon, especially on weekends. Most times I saw come chicas sitting on the benches, either starting at me or trying to get my attention. But this is not my wheelhouse, sorry. I think you get more variety and higher standards on Badoo.

The walk up the Prado, then a right at San Rafael at the Hotel Inglaterra, is good exercise and always some interesting people, if you get my drift. Also some great stores on SanRafael. One even had Lysol!

I never once used anything but dollars (other than MLC in some limited places that demanded it). The only peso I touched was a 20 one of my chicas gave me as a momento (She wrote a note on it).

WRT building relationships there, I think it is a spectrum like autism or the amateur-pro jinetera scale. I definitely have some quality starters in my bullpen. Keeping in touch with them and giving them some love and flirtation every so often via Whatsapp seems to help build rapport and keep them in the rotation. Obviously, making one your girlfriend or something serious is a very bad idea. But I take good care of my starting rotation. You get what you pay for (I have very specific standards and they are not low).

Again, I'll say to the guy who says if you pay them well you don't respect yourself. One, don't judge me just because you are cheap. Two, I feel a lot better about myself when I give a little extra to someone who needs it in a shitty situation, when I have been blessed with a lot of discretionary income. Just because you are cheap or poor, don't judge what I do with my money! If anything, a trip to Cuba makes me appreciate what I have more, and I go out of my way to be generous to these poor unfortunate souls. Some of them are very desperate and it can be very depressing if you possess any empathy whatsoever. And I say this as an extremely conservative person when it comes to the deadbeats in my own country. So when I leave Cuba, I do so with my head held high that I didn't lowball some desperate person because some judgmental cheapo on ISL says so.

With that said, the downside can be basic human nature: Gratitude is a very fleeting emotion, and can quickly convert to entitlement. I was very taken aback by the entitlement and attitude of one of my starters, so she had to go on the waiver wire. Not to be too crude, but one starts to understand what having "a strong pimp hand" means. Without setting limits or expectations, people will roll over you. This is not to judge those in a crappy shithole country. It's just human nature. You feed a stray cat, and it is very happy the first time. The next day it expects it, and will resent you if you don't feed it what it likes to eat when it knows you have a huge refrigerator full of food. It is natural for someone to push for more until they hear the word "no". So you have to balance generosity with an understanding of human nature. Treat them with understanding, empathy, and respect. Just don't be a pushover.

I did notice the jineteros seem even more aggressive than in August. Constant offers by the carnival barkers on the streets for puros or money change or chicas. You will be yelled at regularly "TAXI? Even when it is obvious that you are walking on purpose. One dude came up to me after I left my local mercado with a (see through) sack full of beer and was very aggressive in asking for one (no you can't have a beer for doing nothing). I switched to using opaque bags for such store visits. My advice is do not engage anyone on the street who even seems to be nice. Pretend to be deaf (obviously this excludes those looking to meet chicas). I also had a bici taxi guy I offered $10 to take me less than a mile promptly demand $40 when we arrived. I told him to pound sand and left the $10 on the seat and walked away. So yeah, you have be on your guard and be firm. I would advise getting to know some local taxi guys. The ones who are reasonable, get their business cards so you can call them. I had a guy named Leudar of Taxi-Cuba who was great, reasonable and always available. This is particularly important if you go somewhere where there aren't a lot of taxis, like the beach, and want to get home.

WRT AirBNB's, again I think not mentioning guests in advance is the best policy. Look under "house rules. " If it's silent, you're probably fine. And ask if the host lives on site. If they live 20 minutes away, you should be golden. I'd also ask, do they have water and beer available to buy? Or is there at least a close store nearby that has such? One of my hosts had *American* Kirkland bottled water for $1/ ea, like gold bars in Cuba (she claimed that they have been burned by fake Cuban bottled water). Water is life, so ask your host about your options. And bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Cuba is always noisy, especially on weekend nights.

I'm sure I'll remember more later. Maybe a list of things I brought, or wish I had brought. Cheers.

This was a report of distinction.Yes an excellent report and I completely agree with his thoughts on how to pay these girls in dirt poor counties. We were very fortunate to be born in the first world. I have not been back to Cuba since covid but it was great times in 17,18 and 19. Probably the best it will ever be. I met an extremely beautiful Cubana there. We had a thing going. She asked if I would sponsor her to come to the US through the new parole program. I said yes. I put the app in a year ago but CIS is not moving on it but it has not been denied. I figured that while she lived with me and I was supporting and helping her to build a new life I would have a 21 yo 10 in my bed every night. If she left me so be it and I would not be paying anymore. I am in my early 60's (but look about 50) so no thoughts of marriage and kids just lots of great sex. She managed to get to Dubai where she is hooking and making good money. She went after we waited over 6 months for CIS. Her instagram is incredible sooo hot. I have been going to Colombia since 21 and I am in Medellin right now fucking my brains out with sexy Colombianas.

You can't wait until your trip to start looking if you want to find the stars...Just curious why you can't bring too much chocolate? Also does customs in Cuba open search your luggage after arriving?

Just curious why you can't bring too much chocolate? He means the chicas can eat as much chocolate as you can bring. And yeah chicas all over LatAm love Nutella. They'll mix it with peanut butter sometimes.
