Thanks dude, I will try to remember that.

My Spanish so messed up sometimes I have them chicas almost in tears laughing at my mess. I have to get them to write down words for me to get a grasp on what they are trying to say.

I pick up a little each trip just never had the desire to really sit down and study. Knowing a little, even very little helps better than knowing nothing at all.

One thing I have noticed the Dominicans seem pleased to see that I am at least making an effort to speak their language.

Not being fluent does have advantages especially when the Politur pulls you over. Most times they get so frustrated they just give me hand motions for me to just drive off cause I am so dumb I didn't understand they wanted a bribe. LOL

For the fluent Spanish speakers it would help when you post if you include a word or two in Spanish with the english translation.

Actually, the translation is correct for what I was trying to say. No online translation. Thats the type of shit i end up saying to chicas after 9 years of american taught spanish classes. Chicas always correct me like im a 3 year old. "Escucha mis amor y relrnza conmigo" and I still fuck it up. I understand everything said by her and everyone around me but I cant translate my thoughts into proper conjugation nor remember the correct nouns.

I felt the same way. It sure sounded like those words came straight out of a chicas mouth.

I am at a point I know just enough words to get my point across but can't understand a word of spoken Spanish. I can read small warning signs and the like. My lack of Spanish has not hindered me from traveling all over the DR.

I started out in Sosua where you really don't need to know a word of Spanish because there is always someone close by who speaks both languages and will help you out. There are even a few bars in Sosua where only English is spoken.

I moved onto Boca Chica and you can pretty much get by just knowing English. Like in Sosua always a monger close by to translate.

When I finally made my first trip to Santo Domingo is when I realized I better start learning at least a few words. My last trip to SD I was there two weeks and only had two conversations in English.

Sometimes I get frustrated but most times I don't. I have been told it takes much longer before one will start to understand spoken Spanish. Right now I can maybe pick up a word or two when listening to a conversation.

It wasn't too long ago all of my conversations were with hand motions. So when I look back I feel I have made some progress.

El Dueno del Flow (the owner of the flow) by Omega is a good cd of merengue music, that you can buy at amazon. (el fuerte=the strong).

Pepe is the name of a popular song there now, by El Crok and Doble T. The video is a little bizarre: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsOiZFy1nAg&feature=related

The airport in Santo Domingo has a pharmacy on the second floor near the escalators and across from where you enter to go through the metal detectors when departing the country. I had to laugh, the pharmacy at the airport, had large advertisements for Cialis and Viagra in their windows.

Comparing what you wrote I can see where changing a few words vastly improves the sentence. I do the best I can putting a few words together to form a sentence. Just about everyone gives me the strange look, damn that dude has terrible Spanish, but for the most part I am able to get my point across.

What I find amusing is if I am with a chica two or three times she will begin to understand my Span-glish. I have had many occasions where I would speak Span-glish to chica #1, she translates and speaks Spanish to chica #2.

Speaking of pene,,,,,,,,,,I mean penne. To keep this Boca Chica related there is a great restaurant in BC that has penne with a mixed seafood sauce, white or red sauce. On a few occasions I have driven from SD to BC just to have this meal for lunch.

The restaurant is Ristorante Oca Martina, Calle Pedro Mella #3. The restaurant used to be called Fernandos. Fernandos was sold the early part of this year and now serves some great Italian meals. It is a nice quiet spot to eat and not be seen.

Don't know much about casas in BC. Only one I know is the scrubby joint across the street from Candil. Late at night you can always get a motoconchoist to take you to one. As you know it will cost you a nice little tip.

Actually I have not spent a night in BC this year yet. I always like Costalunga Apart/Hotel. Costalunga is a little more private, has a nice pool, late at night a few chicas hang out downstairs, no problem bringing in more than one chica as long as they have cedulas, and at $40US a night you can't beat it.

I stayed at Candil twice but still find Costalunga more to my liking.

Did I mention the pool at Costalunga?????????? LOL

Last time for me in boca chica in a massage house over 18 months ago, 7am Sunday morning. Best bet is to pay a motoconcho 100 pesos to show you the massage houses (the motoconcho driver told me there were 5 or 6 massage houses in boca chica). The places in boca chica I saw looked like normal houses, no signs outside.

Years ago there was a fun massage house, I can remember going there at 4:00am one night, drunk, the chicas woke up, came into the living room for the lineup, that place used to have a plastic laminated piece of paper with the different massages and their prices. I always chose the cheapest priced massage, about 40 dollars, the chica took me into a nice small room, gave me a 15 minute massage, then bbbj and sex. Afterwards I fell asleep and woke up after hearing the roosters. I don't know the names of the streets in boca chica (only calle duarte).

Returning to BC issues, I read a few months ago about an upscale place opened in BC directly on the beach where you pay an amount per day and is all inclusive, with a chica included per day. The place has other locations , I believe Isla Margarita is one of them. I do not pay attention to the place at that time because is very expensive but somebody told me that place is also accepting short term but cant remember the name of the place. I originally posted this in SOUSA but realized we are flying into Santo Domingo SDQ and I don't want to drive 3 hours+ to Sousa when we are only there for 3 days.

So I guess it's Boca Chica for us unless someone has a better idea near SDQ.

I'm hosting the three of us for 3 days.- we all speak Spanish, and we would like to find a more upscale place to stay in Boca Chica (or? That's close to SDQ) for the three days that's girl friendly, on the beach, and if possible on the small side.-- and definitely on the beach.

Does anything like this exist?

I'm also looking for a driver to pick us up at the airport (SUV) and be our driver for the three days we are there so we don't have to worry about taxis all the time.

I've toyed with the idea of staying at the Hilton in Santo Domingo as "home base" so I know our stuff is safe and just driving into Boca Chica each day and staying over if we need to. But Hilton isn't exactly beach-front.

When I say nice hotel I don't necessarily mean the Hilton.-- Hilton would be my entry-level for "decent hotel", but it shows girl-friendly in the posts. I love the way they list the $30 non-registered guest fee on their website.-- Conrad would be proud.

And of course I'd love to line up some carmel-skinned athletic ladies before we even land (why waste time, right? )

Any input or help would be most appreciated.

You really need to try the search function on this site, and GOOGLE!

Boca Chica is basically a waste of time unless you are looking for crackhead chicas to rob you. The Hottie:Crackhead ratio is very low these days.

I suggest you stay in a chica friendly hotel in Santo Domingo, there must be a dozen places to find action in The Capital.

If you want point and click action fly into POP and go to Sosua, you WILL NOT be dissappointed!

OPTION 1:
If you're looking for girl-friendly vacation rentals on the beach, you may want to consider looking at the Metro properties (approx. US$200-400/night) in Juan Dolio. Juan Dolio is 30 minutes from Las Americas Airport (SDQ), 15 minutes from Boca Chica, and 60 minutes from the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo.

Nevertheless, staying in Juan Dolio puts you an hour away from the action (houses, discos, bars, women) that can be found in Santo Domingo. Also, if you are going to stay in Juan Dolio, I would highly recommend renting a car (Alamo: approx $30-50/day.)

OPTION 2:
If you have your heart set on Boca Chica, just stay at the all-inclusive Hamaca Hotel. It's on the beach, but it's not girl friendly. When you arrive at the Hamaca Hotel, just scout out a girl-friendly motel near the Hamaca. There are a few girl-friendly motels within several blocks of Hamaca that cost between US$20-US$40/night.

You can try your luck at the Don Emilio and the Zapata Hotel; however, I can't provide you with any recent personal experience regarding either establishment. I don't believe that either hotel receives much praise on this board. Also, you may want to check with Metro regarding properties they may have in Boca Chica.

You are correct AA has flights from Puerto Rico to POP -- but the only direct flight leaves 1PM, and I can't leave until later in the evening --- and no way do I want to spend one more night in Puerto Rico. So it's a toss up:

- Cut my trip to two days by staying over one more night in Puerto Rico and leave at 1pm the next day

- Get a full 3 day trip but go to Santo Domingo

Unless I swim from Puerto Rico to POP

There is a place in Boca Chica, Total Satisfaction,it is beach front and cost near $400 per day, price includes suite rooms with a la carte menu, all drinks and a 24 hour escort every day. Airport transfers included.

If you are into a lower budget but still want to be on the beach then stay at Oasis Hamaca which will cost near $200 for a double, you can hire a chica for a day to stay with you , if she is a third room guest it is going to be $50 or $60 more. I once stayed there for one day with two cousins and 3 girls, six on the same room and it was fun, beachfront rooms are large, we had 2 queen beds and a rolling queen bed so we sleep in confort. 24 hour drinks and meals there , large pool with swimup bar, private beach, beach activities, night shows at theather, disco and casino, other facilities available. You can also stay at Hamaca and get a girl for short term and go to one of the Boca Chica Motels.

You can also stay in the city, visit a "casa de citas" and pick a girl, some places have on site rooms or you can pick a chica and go to your hotel room or a motel which are nice , with marble floors ,wall to wall mirrors, porno channels, some with jacuzzi , food and drink service , unexpensive. You can stay on the city and take a taxi to Boca Chica for the day and came back on evening.

If you decide to stay another day in my country (Puerto Rico) and travel to Puerto Plata you are going to have fun too, but I believe 3 days of fun are better than 2. what are your priorities? beach? chicas? upscale places? You can pm me for more info or can call me while in PR.

Spent a week in Jaun Dolio at the Affordable Adult Vacation company. Expensive but very nice. Kind of like hunting your own game or going on a guided hunt in a game preserve. This is a real girl friend experience since the girl spends 24 hours a day with you.

I am returning again in November but will spend the complete time in Boca Chica this time. Should be more fun going three times a day with some of the hottest women in Boca Chica.

I also have spent time with Affordable Adult Vacations and I think the price is reasonable when you consider it includes your room, breakfast and supper (if you choose to eat there) and your choice of any of a number of pretty and sexy chicas who know what their job is and perform it to our pleasure as many times per day as we want. Carlos is very honest and takes good care of his guests.

Have a great time in November. I am going back in January.

I will be in Boca Chica November 7th to the 15th. This will be my 6th time there. Let me know if you want to meet up if you happen to be there during that time frame.I will be there Nov 26th - Dec 10th. It is looking like I will spend 10 days with Afforable and four days with Total Satisfaction. The main difference between the two is that AAV is in Boca Chica and TS is in Jaun Dolio. Price is about the same for both but I since I am taking time to fly to the DR I felt it might be fun to experience both resorts.

Both.

Calle Duarte is a good place to start they close the streets off in the evening and its like a big party in the street. You will have to beat the girls off with a stick.

If you go there is one bar in particular (forget the name, I think its the piano bar). Bianca is the bartender, sometimes days and sometimes nights, she is not the best looking girl but ask her to call her sister, OMG young and beautiful. I have Bianca's number so PM me if you want it.

As for casas there are 2 that I know of Casa Iraisa (sp?) and I don't remember the other name. If you want a reasonable guide, go to hotel zapato and ask for Jose he gets off at 7PM and is real honest speaks great english and will treat you right.

Last year Casa Iraisa was great, but the street action is fine. If you go to Iraisa they have rooms on site and I think Monday is party day.

The wife and I spent a couple weeks there in 2008. Web site was the same and it was not an adult resort at the time. Decent, clean, accommodations on the beach road for $35/nite incl breakfast. Easy stroll to beach, restaurants, bars, etc. There was a group of italian men staying there and they often were visible with hot local talent which may well have been provided by the hotel management (who at the time was an attractive multi-lingual Russian gal named Inna). The italians appeared to be "wifed up" as their dates (who ran the gamut from hot to total knockout) seemed to be the same day after day.

Is there casas anywhere or it is just a "pick up on the street" place ?I was told there are 5 or 6 massage houses in Boca Chica. Pay a motoconcho 100 pesos and he will take you to probably all of them. I visited three of them a few years ago at around 7am, got my rocks off in one of them. There are usually no signs on the houses, they look like normal houses from the outside. They are usually open 24/7, so they can be good for early daytime or very late night action, if you don't hook up elsewhere. Just say to a motoconcho driver "Quiero casas con chicas". Plenty of motoconchos in Boca Chica.

The place I used in Boca Chica has been a massage casa for a long time, I can remember visiting the same casa more than 5 years ago. The house has a small front yard and a gate, it is about two blocks up from calle duarte, I saw about 4 chicas in the casa, I chose an attractive indian looking chica, covered bj.

Last time I was there it was kinda dead.Slim. I was there last December on a 5 day GFE with this Venezuelan MILF I know. Anyway, I urge you to consider staying at a place called, "Neptunio Refugio" located behind the "La Hamaca" all inclusive. You actually have to drive right thru the middle of their complex on a public road to get there. Its about a 5 minute walk to the strip in town. They still close the road to autos at night. You should be able to google this place. Its chica friendly and owned by a Dominican lady. Ask for the small apartment right out front ($60.00USD/night). You have to climb this rickity metal, spiral staircase to get up there but it adds to you security. That and the security guard right below you. You can park your rental right there and he'll watch that too. Decent bkst served till 9AM in the courtyard out back. Yes, I know you can find someplace a bit cheaper but its worth it.

What's good about this place is it offers security and standoff from the noisy street racket going on on Duarte St. You are snuggled away from that shit yet close enough to the action. Expensive rest. Right across from your apt (I didn't eat there) and a partial view of the water from your apt, with the Hamaca building screening you well from the rifraff, douchebag hustlers over on Duarte. There's a cozy little bar right around the corner from you too where some of the tourists go. I had it to myself every time I went there. Could have banged this older black waitress 1st night but passed, didn't want drama with the MILF. I recommend this place. If you can't get the apt out front the rooms are less expensive and quite clean. I know, I inspected them. Take care and good luck. BTW, tons of SG's strolling Duarte St if you're into that.

I stayed at the Hamaca years ago. I can remember seeing a replica boat like the one Columbus used, moored in the water a little east of the Hamaca, I believe it is a restaurant. El Neptuno should be close to where that boat is docked. Some popular place east of the the Hamaca, I saw a bunch of new cars parked there on the weekends.

I've learned from my local chica friends who I have hooking me up with thier non pro friends that girls flock to BC to work because of the over-inflated prices the tourists are paying there: $50 US (about 1800 pesos) or more for a short time chica, which has spoiled the market somewhat. I routinely pay $20, or sometimes less for a GOOD quality local girl, 18, school or college quality, . In Boca Chica, mind you these are "friends of friends" who I take to eat or to the pool, and see them more than once. I see tourists paying $60 for used up, older, and out of shape crack addicts! For anyone visiting DR NOV 4th to 11th that wants to meet a LOCAL non pro (the BEST kind) let me know!

Have been here a week now and leaving for the North coast tomorrow.
Staying at a all inclusve hotel called the Hotetur Dominican Bay. Naturally not girl friendly but I knew that already.
I was surprised to find that BBBJ are always not needed to be asked for. As far as the prices. Every girl asks for 2500 pesos but I have gotten some hot ones for 1500.
Went the Pleyboy club and they had 3 stunners there out of maybe 10 girls. the price is 2500 and is paid in advance to the bartender. This was my first trip to the DR after many trips to So. America and the beach makes a big difference for the non hunting hours
If anyone who knows Sosua and will be there next week then PM me to meet for a drink.

SDQ and Boca Chica veterans:

What are the public transportation options to get from Boca Chica to Santo Domingo? Would you recommend "guaguas" , "publicos" or taxi? What would you use at night, during daytime, and which one you wouldn't use at all?
(I do not want to rent a car.)
Where do I board guagua in B.C. and where will it take me in SDQ? I'd like to get as close to the "action" clubs near the hotels on the malecon.
I assume guagua will take me to some sort of a bus terminal. If so, how would you go about getting from there to a place like GBP during the day?

I appreciate all responses.
Thanks!

Hey guys,

After spending much time enjoying the pics uploaded here by our esteemed fellow mongers (and receiving much helpful info) I have decided to share what little material I have to offer. Most of the photos that I take on my travels are of the SFW variety that I share with family and friends. For some reason when I get some "quality alone time" with the indigenous female population, my camera is that last thing that I think of grabbing, LOL. I'll try to do better in the future. I hope you guys enjoy these few measly offerings in the meantime.

The first pic is of a gal that I spent some time with at Thomas' MWV villas. She was a real sweetheart as are all of those chicas. The second is of a girl working the beach of BC in DR, very passionate and sweet. The last is of a chica working the bars at night after the road is closed in BC, outstanding! I would gladly do a repeat with any of these Dominicanas.

I have to agree with Vics Pics that the pickings are slimmer in BC, but I guess I have just had good luck. It takes a little more work in hunting out the good ones there but to me, that just adds to the excitement. I found the three BC cuties that I sessioned with to be much sweeter, hotter in bed, less concerned about time/money (as a matter of fact the subject never came up, all stayed the night and gladly accepted what I offered) as well as cheaper. IMHO the beach in BC is more relaxing and beautiful. You can't beat the party atmosphere there either. Also, if the selection in BC is not to your satisfaction, I have found that most chicas in SD are VERY happy to accompany you there and for some reason their libido seems to skyrocket once out of the capital! (not that it is of poor quality to begin with) LOL

Also, any info on Boca Chica and Juan Dolio is appreciated (yes, I have read the thread). I will certainly reciprocate upon my return. What time is your flight getting in? Have you driven before in Dom Rep? The road to Boca Chica at night is not the easiest. Very late at night the road will mostly be empty. Earlier in the evening with no sunlight, the drivers coming in the opposite direction will sometimes blind you with their high beams. Be aware of the motoconchos that will cross that road wherever and whenever, some of them with no lights.

I haven't hung out at night in Boca Chica in many years. (Not sure if my prior post went through). I don't recall any cabanas in the main part of Boca Chica. There are chica friendly hotels in Boca Chica starting at 25 US Dollars, some guys like el candil. On the road from the airport towards Boca Chica there are a few cabanas, not really close to the main drag in boca chica. Boca Chica has massage houses (5-7 houses). Late at night or anytime, you can pay a motoconcho 100 pesos to show where the massage houses are in Boca Chica (you can drive behind the motoconcho in your car). They usually look like normal houses with no signs outside. If it is very late, you may have to give them time to wake up, when you ring the bell. Normally you would enter the massage house, sit in the living room and chicas will come out for the lineup. You choose a chica after discussing price and she takes you to a room for sex. Just be careful if your stuff is still in the car. The massage houses are open 24/7.

After the gas station in Boca Chica, the highway does not have much traffic, very easy road to drive on (two lanes each direction), in the direction of Juan Dolio. If you decide to drive to Juan Dolio your first night, the Decameron casino should be open, mostly locals in the Decameron Casino (maybe some working girls or other chicas looking for some money) Decameron has an upstairs bar (last time I was there it was closed) which has lots of memorabilia from famous Dominicans in sports and music, clothes, signed baseball bats etc. Coral Costa Caribe also has a Casino and a small disco that you can enter. The three chica bars (El Caucho, Caprichios, Showgilrs) in Jaun Dolio should be open late. If you like a chica in one of these bars you can ask her for her phone number and try to set up a date for when she has a day off. Some people have used the hotel Romeo y Juliet in Juan Dolio, it has gotten mixed reviews. Plaza Real Hotel in Juan Dolio can be booked online using Orbitz.com or Kayak.com. Prices under 50 per night, the rooms supposedly have small kitchenettes from the photos I saw, I have never stayed there, I would guess it should be chica friendly, but I am not sure. La Brisa restaurant has a small supermarket and a pharmacy, with free wifi internet, it is closer to the Barcelo Capella all inclusive hotel. Hemingways is a nice condominium complex in Juan Dolio.

You will have a car, drive into Metro Country Club one day (Embassy Suites Hotel) in Juan Dolio, just tell the guard you are going to Embassy Suites. Nice gated complex with private homes and a golf course. You can have beers in the lobby of the Embassy Suites hotel or you can get food at their restaurant. Embassy Suites is a nice hotel to stay in, but I doubt it is very chica friendly, I stayed there with my Dominican girlfriend. In the daytime you can go to Guayacanes beach or the public beach in Juan Dolio. I prefer Juan Dolio over Boca Chica. Juan Dolio is more tranquil (Boca Chica has more street chicas).

San Pedro de Marcoris is less than 15 minutes away from Juan Dolio. The Malecon in San Pedro de Marcoris has many people on the weekends. Lots of Motoconchos in San Pedro de Marcoris. You will usually see some chicas waiting for gua guas on the side of the highway in and around Juan Dolio and San Pedro de Marcoris, if you stop, some will accept a ride with you. I have not seen any chica bars in San Pedro de Marcoris. There is a neighborhood before the bridge into San Pedro that supposedly has prostitution and drugs, supposedly a very bad neighborhood, be careful if you go there. There are at least three cabanas near the main street in San Pedro de Marcoris.

The Dominican government imposed a curfew where most bars have to close at 1am on weeknights and 3am on Friday and Saturday night. Maybe someone has updated information regarding closing times of places in Boca Chica and Juan Dolio. Casinos and their attached bars/discos are allowed to stay open basically 24/7.

I know Jet Blue has flights that arrive in Santo Domingo all hours of the day and night. I have arrived into Santo Domingo airport at 5am. You will be renting a car, make sure your rental car company is open at the time you arrive in Santo Domingo. I always rent from Alamo and they are open 24 hours at the Santo Domingo airport.

I get in at about 10:30 which isn't that late. I have driven around Santiago and Puerto Plata and in various other countries so I am acclimated to that chaos (I just drive like they do to fit in, ha ha). I have a place to stay in Juan Dolio so I'm set there. That first night is open so I could wander towards Santo Domingo instead of Boca Chica, and then drive east the following day. Basically I want an easy hookup night one, so maybe a hotel with a casino where I can haul a chica from the bar. Anyway, I don't travel until Feb, so there's plenty of time to hash it out. I have heard of the bar curfew thing in Boca Chica which is weird.
Thanks again

Thanks againCurfew is throughout the entire Country, exceptions are Casinos and Tourist complexes. Being the Dominican Republic, rules are bent, some places stay open late. Wherever you go that first night, I would suggest you put everything into the trunk of the car, this way if you park in the street somewhere, a thief who looks into your car will not see anything to steal.

There are chicas available in the Capital till 5am, on the streets, in the Casinos, and you can also pull a chica out of one of the casas late (Casa Azul stays open late, Casa Theresa may let you enter late but you have to choose a chica fast there, if it is late, Casa de Modelos will line the chicas up in the living room and you have to choose one while standing at the window from the outside, if it is early in the day the rules are different).

Arrived here last night and today with the aid of 2 unsolicited guides I made the rounds. There are so few older, male gringo tourists here that everyone wants a piece of me.

The following street names are based on the names from google maps.

Here's a circuit starting from Duarte (the main street with bars):

on Dominguez in between San Rafael and Av. 20 de Diciembre (opposite Hotel Coco): La Sala Cafe Bar
onsite price 2500; takeout 3000
about 6 chicas in the lineup; 4,5,6's
their card claims they have strip shows but I didn't see any evidence of one

on Juanico Garcia between Av. 20 de Diciembre and Av. Del Sur: no name/no sign house
but the chicas are often outside so they will find you if you walk by
onsite price 1000
about 7 chicas in lineup: 4,5's

on Jose De Jesus Lutrino between Av. Del Sur and A. Valenzuela:
La Casona de Piedra
onsite price 2500
1 chica in lineup: a 4

on Av. Juan Bautista Vicini between A. Valenzuela and Elena Montano: Casa Iraisa
onsite price 2500
around 8 chices in linuep: 4,5,6's and maybe a 7
best lineup I saw but not enough to get my money

on Roglio Alvarez between Jose De Jesus Lutrino and Av. Caraoles: no name/no sign yellow house
closed

on Av. Caracoles between Elena Montano and Regelio Alvarez: Playboy Club
closed

One tout said there were 5 in town and the other said 7, so this covers most of them. Nothing to report yet on action because I haven't had any.

This is the kind of report that is too often missing in our threads. Location, price, review. That's what we need. Now JPF, I know you were not impressed with the chicas you saw, but at least the rest of us can graze with some knowledge in our pockets. I started a google map with your information and others. It is fairly general, but if anyone wishes to help just let me know what needs adjusting (particularly in placement marker positioning). I could also make a fellow senior member a collaborator which would give him editing rights. You would need to PM me your EM address if that interests any of you.
Keep in mind that the map is based on information found on ISG or elsewhere and has not yet been personally verified by me as of this date. I will certainly make it is accurate as possible once I visit.

Thanks for your effort. As you are probably aware there is a great map of Santo Domingo in the Reports of Distinction. Although Boca Chica is a very small town it also is deserving of a map.

You can add the Piano Bar which is the major hangout bar at night on Durate. It would be located just above the letter "e" in Durate.

Hotel Zapata and Hotel Garant might also be added. I can give you locations if you need them. Here are the links

http://www.hotelgarant.com/
http://www.hotelzapata.com/ (don't know why but this link is not working today)

Thanks again Strike2

I don't know how but if someone could add the map link to the Reports of Distinction it would be helpful in finding at a later date.

Caprichios has a large sign, sort of like a billboard. Approximate location of "Caprichios" is on Boulevar Juan Dolio, some what close to where it says Plaza Real Resort.

La Brisa restaurant and super market, has free wifi internet, is located between the Barcelo Capella Resort and Boulevar Juan Dolio, maybe Carretera Nueva or one of the two streets west of Carretera nueva.

You may want to make a note, that there is beach front parking near "La Grotta Azurro" "Bar II Capuccino" "El Cacique Bar" (just south of showgirls), this area has perpendicular parking to the beach, several bars with food, sort of the main hangout place in Juan Dolio (Various pros can also be seen in this area). There is wifi in this area, maybe the town or the business association of Juan Dolio supplies the signal, there is a charge to use the wifi there. This area usually has a Politur Police officer.

You are welcome and that is why I did the report. I'm sure the situation will be different every time someone goes... different numbers and quality of girls. And my 6 may be your 8.

Thanks for the map. The "pink house" is pink so that must be what I was referring to. It is a little north of your spot. Directly opposite to Candil where I am typing this.

La Sala Cafe Bar is also a little further north, about midway along the block. It is across from Hotel Coco.

The other locations are all good.

I'm considering both the Candil and Costalunga. I need a late night check-in (as late as midnight) so I'm looking for a place with reception open late (not just an oblivious security guard). I also need safe parking and decent wifi reception. Also a room safe is always appreciated. Noise is not a big issue for me and I'm staying just a night or two. Do either or both of these fit the bill? Thanks.

I arrived very late (delayed flight), around 2am and there was only a security guard with my name on a piece of paper to let me in. In fact there are no front desk personnel at Costalunga at all (the desk is abandoned). All the paperwork is handled at the adjoining Internet cafe.

Candil seems to have someone at reception at all times and I assume late at night, too (this is my first night here) because the keys are the kind with a huge holder they expect you to leave at the desk.

I don't have a car so don't know about parking but don't see an obvious lot at either hotel.

Both have room safes. The one at Candil is bigger, which I like because my small netbook will fit in it.

Costalunga does not have wifi. I was able to use the Internet cafe for free with my netbook but had to plug it in.

Candil does have wifi but I wouldn't call it decent because it depends on your location. In my room which is reasonably close to the office I have to be on the balcony or just inside the room with the door open. I expect that rooms further away don't get any reception.

So, based on your requirements I would recommend Candil but tell them you want a room with good wifi reception. Oh, yeah, tell them you want a room with a "working" safe. The first room they showed me had a safe but there was no key for it.

Then I sat for an hour or two and except for the 5 that the tout working the place brought by (not 5 women, one women who I would rank at 5) I didn't see any decent women go by.

I will see if there are more choices in the bars tonight.

onsite prices: 2500 for 1 hour; 3000 for 2 hours

Finally, I don't think the "yellow" no name house on Rogelio Alvarez is a casa.I was there last night and it wasn't open and a local said it wasn't a casa. I think the motoconcho driver was mistaken or made it up.

I did take someone and it was a good but not great experience. She was fine but there were a couple of things she didn't like to do that I like.

My chica said that she came in from Santo Domingo for the weekend so that is definitely the time to come.

Casa Iraisa had the most touts handing out cards so I think they are putting the most money out for promotion. Playboy was next, by the way. Based on my limited experience that is the place I would recommend to check out.

Iraisa was hot a year ago. Girls were hot, and deals can be made if you come with a few guys. I've gotten 1k on site. There is a skinny dominican tout named Charlie, who grew up in Brookyln since 4 and then got deported. I thought he was full of shit, until I found out he grew up in the same neighborhood I grew up in. We know alot of the same people, he speaks perfect english. If you don't know spanish well and need to dicuss things with the girls he can help. Don't give him much of a tip, I usually give him about 5US. He can be very helpful and not really pushy (at least with me).

I encountered him while I was sitting at a table with a chica and he was helping a non-spanish speaking monger who was having a hard time finding what he wanted. After the monger decided to call it quits for the night Charlie latched on to me, even though he knew that I did not require assistance. I wound up meeting a chica on the street while we were walking and talking and he thought that meant that he should get a tip just because he was with me. I took the chica to one of the bars and he waited outside saying that he deserved a tip. BTW he was not allowed inside the bar because he was banned by management. Evidently he had caused trouble there before and was banned for life. When I asked him about it he said something about having to "deal" with somebody that crossed him and that he always carried a knife. Rather than calling the cops I wound up just giving him $5 to go away. Be careful my fellow mongers, this guy is trouble.

Hello, fellow mongers,

If you are looking for a decent no-frills hotel in BC then I highly recommend the Hotel Coco Playa (the old Don Emilio) on Calle Abraham #2. It is right on the beach and has a decent open-air bar/restaurant. Plenty of parking. I didn't bring my laptop on that trip so I'm not for sure but I saw people using their laptops in the restaurant area so I'm assuming that they have wifi.

The owners are a couple of guys from Spain and very friendly. The rooms are nothing to write home about but I got a spacious room w/ queen-sized bed and a/c with an ocean view for about $40 per night and breakfast. No extra taxes or charges and they don't even look at who you bring to the room. It is only a couple of blocks from where they close off the streets at night and during the day the beach in front of the hotel was packed with action. You can rent an umbrella and chairs and have drinks/food delivered.

Stay horny my friends

At Costalunga on the fourth floor, at the top of the stairway, you can sit and have WiFi. A bit of a problem going up and down the stairs but it is a quiet spot with a couple of chairs and a table. Costalunga also has a very nice pool area.

At Candil the "fish" key is a pain having to turn it in each time you leave. The sitting area with the TV has no A/C and the bedroom has no TV.

The owners live on the fourth floor so I think the WiFi is set up for them but you can pick up a really strong signal in the hallway. It is just a nusiance going up and down the steps. I am not sure if you can get a signal in the rooms but who wants a fourth floor walk up room.

I have stayed at Costalunga and Candil and your review was spot on. I prefer Costalunga because it is a little more private and you can come and go as you please without the picking up your "fish" key mess. Also at Costalunga at night there are a few chicas who hang out in the outdoor lounge area on the ground level. A main plus with Costalunga is no problem with multiple chicas in your room at one time. I have had three chicas in my room on occasion with no problem from security.

I need a new place to stay and not the Hotel Europa. I've read alot of the past and current reports great advice from some true vets of the place, Thank you! But I need help from Geolopes you posted a report on Hotel Neptunio Refugio, do you think it would be ok for my 3rd trip? I do not speak spanish so I'm just going to fly in and try and get a room that day think it would be ok, they say the weekend of the feb-27 is a big party in the DR, please help?Dude, do yourself a favor and pay a few pesos and get on Metro and Caribe Tours and go to Sosua. I guarantee you will never go back to boca chica again. And when you reach Sosua, chick into Seabreeze or New Garden.

Thanks Chief Justice/Bg Ribs for the quick responds. I have already made revs. At Seabreeze Hotel and they got back to me already with a com. So its on Feb-25/Mar-1. Now just to get airfare together I'd be set. Is there a map of sosua with all the hot spots to hit, banks, good food, the past reports I have read say the beach is 5 blks away? And should I rent a car?

Don't bother with a car - everything in Sosua is within a half KM of everything else. All of your questions are answered in the Sosua board on this forum.

A good website with more Sosua info is www.ilovesosua.com

Good move, a couple nights in Boca Chica and you will be ready to leave.

Search the Sosua threads for a map as I would imagine one exists. Boca Chica is nice for those who have made many trips to the DR and have a regular or two in the Boca Chica area.

And yes, the beach in Sosua is 5 blocks or more away from most hotels.

You won't need a car in Boca Chica and you will not need a car in Sosua. Use buses, taxis, and motoconchos.

Do you have information how to get from Boca Chica to Sosua?

Don't want to confuse you further but did you consider a few nights in Santo Domingo, a few nights in Sosua, and your final night back in Santo Domingo to catch your flight home the next day?

Lageplan is map in German, they have a good amusing map of Sosua, with cartoon type pictures and the location of many hotels and restaurants. If you stay at New Garden or any of the other well known hotels, you will not need a rental car. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of 125cc motorcycle taxis (motoconchos) that will take you where you want to go within sosua for 25 pesos (less than one dollar).

Have been reading the whole thread.

Really good stuff.

Should have had it when I was back there.

Way back in 2000, but was with non mongering friends.

Backpacking across the country.

Stayed in this place for 2 nights.

It used to be a cheap pension back then.

In the middle of duarte, remember sitting there at the bar,

And having to fight of this fat ass bully all the time.

Out of curiosity

Is it still there?

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. If you only have a few days and Boca chica is your place to be then by all means stay at Neptunos as my past thread explains. You can easily walk into town. The main highway going east to the better beaches in Jaun Dolio is only 15 minutes away. Santo Domingo is about 30 minutes west depending on traffic, etc. Consider dividing your time between both places. There are plenty of recommendations in the Santo Domingo thread. Take care.

Thanks for the web-links, the maps will be a big help.Morning rush hour traffic in Santo Domingo can be very slow. In the morning it could take an hour for the bus to get from Caribe Tours bus station to the highway that leads toward Santiago and then Puerto Plata. 4-5 hours seems about right, depends what time of the day and the day of the week, Traffic is less on the weekends in Santo Domingo.

Santiago traffic can be slow too, depends upon the time of day you enter Santiago.

The road from Santiago to Puerto Plata can be slow depending upon how many slow moving trucks are on that road.

I have seen Metro buses going very fast at night.

Want to say that I spent the evening in Boca Chica for the first time Tuesday evening and found two lovely Ebony ladies to take care of me. I must say I felt very safe and had a great time while there. The two ladies were related and had never done a threesome before but when I showed them a $100.00 bill they were willing to take me up on my offer. Being the first time either of them had done a threesome they were a bit apprehensive but had the time of their life, it was a real treat for all three of us, gave them a nice tip and they gave me their phone numbers and asked me to come back, it was awesome and I am planning to go back ASAP. I spend most of my time in Tijuana but found the Boca Chica experience to be a good one and plan to come back again and cannot wait to get there. DR is a great country!

Arrived in BC after 1am on Sunday night. The first thing I did was drive near the beach. By this time the police were already clearing everyone out, so I decided to go find a place to lay my head. As I made a right off the street perpendicular to the beach and passed in front of the school I saw a pair of long dark legs. I was sure they belonged to a Haitian. Now I don't dig the Haitians too much but two wingmen took one on two different days in Sosua this past week and they say they had the best experience. So I figured what the hell.

I pulled to a stop and asked where she was going. Then out of the shadows comes her friend, a Dominicana with some big ass titties. I suddenly forgot about the Haitian, but her friend got in the car and off we went.

I didn't have any reservations anywhere so we stopped at El Candil. As I already knew they, like my usual spot Costa Lunga, would be closed for the night. We drove to Mango and she got out to ask how much for a room. The guy told her $70. Was he out of his fucking mind? As we drove off, he yelled at us to come back. I guess he had a cheaper price in mind but he should have stated it from the beginning. Also, right as we were driving, at a place next to Mango a guy opens this garage door and says, "I have rooms here." It looked kind of seedy of I just drove off.

I was running out of gas quick. The fuel light had been on before I arrived in BC. I told the girl that either we find somewhere to stay ASAP or we have to find a gas station that is open. We finally got to Part Time Cabana which is near the Parque Cibernetico. I pulled the car into the garage and inside we went. This place absolutely sucked but what choice did I have. First of all you have to call on the phone when you need them to turn on the water. then it shoots from everywhere but the faucet. Water was literally skeeting from between the tiles on the walls. Also we had to call them to bring us a sheet to use as cover for the night. And the bed was equipped with a total of 1 pillow. No problem with the A/C though. The damage until 8am was 480 pesos.

Before undressing we started the negotiation. I asked her how much for all night. She said 2500. I told her that she had to be joking. I would give her 1000. We finally settled on 1500 until 6am. She wanted the money up front but you know how that goes. I offered 500 up front and the balance in the morning. She was okay with that.

She gave a stellar performance with BBBJ. She really went to town when I introduced her to my toys. It seems that of all the women I was with this time, pro or non-pro, they had never experienced vibrators. After that session I though she was going to try to pay ME.

We drifted off to sleep and she woke me at 6am when it was time for her to leave. I gave her the 1000 balance and let her go on her way. I slept until 9, then I went to get a room at the Costa Lunga.

Good report. From what I remember the gas station on the corner where you make the right to go into Boca Chica (when going east coming from the direction of the airport and santo domingo) should be open 24/7, there is a traffic light there (I believe it is Shell station). I hate when they ask for the money up front, you handled it well, give her 500 pesos, then the rest in the morning.

Nice to read there are still a few who like Boca Chica. Too late now but would not Mozart have been open at that late hour? If you get a chance can you see what the action is like late night at Mozart?

Costalunga is also my favorite hotel in BC. $40 a night is a decent rate and not that far from the mini-strip.

Nooo brother. I'm not condoning Boca Chica. That place has been DEAD for at least two years. I'm surprised it hasn't totally shut down yet. I don't think there is enough money circulating around there. There are bars that have closed down. There were about 10 or 12 Haitian pros with maybe 2 Dominicanas to boot.

My last night there there was a group of about 10 German gentlemen sitting in a group and then there were a couple more groups of 5 or 6 people. You could see a few tourist couples walking up and down the naked strip bored out of their mind. Even my non-pro for the day and I only had one drink before leaving. The only reason I still go to BC is to set up shop from time to time for my SD area non-pros to come through and spend time with me. I think this was the last time though. From now on I will stick with the north coast.

Got in late and checked into Costalunga. Went to the Piano Bar near closing time and there was plenty of chicas. The hotter ones were already sitting with Italian men, but I pulled a lovely flacita, Marina, at closing time and had a nice session. I overpaid in US dollars $60. Dumb because I knew immediately I could have taken her for $30 or $40. Next day got clipped on the beach and got into an argument, etc.... On the way back to my room I met a very fresh young sweety at the Pink House and all my worries were lifted. Gaby. 1000 RD. Visited Casona Piedra and there was only 2 or 3 girls. Quote 2000 for an hour, 1500 half hour. Casa Iraisa had a full line up of a dozen or more girls fully decked (or not) in the garb of their trade. A nine, a couple of 8s and a bunch of 7s. Quoted 2000. They are corraled when you walk in and they stand in a circle and strut their stuff. Did not partake despite a serious ass grinding at the bar. Drinks in 2 the brothels were 200RD. Now in Juan Dolio and will look around when I get my ass off the beach.

Spent Saturday night at Hotel Mozart. After a disappointing night in Las Terrenas I follow up with another let down. Look at the YouTube videos of Mozart and fellows it was nothing like that. I would guess the videos were taken at special events. A little after midnight there were two ugly chicas at Mozart. There is not enough Brugal in rep dom for me to want either one of them.

The room with A/C was 1000 pesos. No television, no safe, broken door knob, and third floor walk up. I left my laptop and cameras in the room when I went out and worried the entire time if they were safe. Lucky me nothing was stolen but there is no sense of security with your stuff.

There was one fine ass chica there. I am almost sure she is staff there but she was too busy flashing her titties in some chat room on her netbook than to try to make a few bucks. She was without a doubt someone I would have loved to spend some time with, but she seemed to have an attitude problem.

Boca Chica still seems to attract it's nightime crowd of tourists and chica chasers. One night and I was out of Dodge back to Santo Domingo.

Mozart does have a nice size hot tub but it probably has not been used in years. You get pad locked in the compound when you arrive. Once I waited five minutes for someone to come with a key to let me back in. The place has potential but as of now it is a major let down. Only reason I stayed there was CostaLunga and El Candil did not have any rooms.

Didn't like Boca Chica one bit.

REASON # 1: THE BEACH
Check out my pics (1 to 3) below. This is not what I had in mind when I decided to go to the Caribbeans. They created this natural pool by obstructing the flow of water into the bay, but this causes stagnation, accumulation of dirt, and water the temperature you would expect in the Red Sea.

Also a constant stream of vendors, triple the amount of Sosua: those of you who can't deal with them beware.

Also inflated prices and, unlike in Sosua, it felt like everyone was out to take advantage of me: when I'm on holiday I don't want to have to constantly be on the lookout for scams.

If someone were to look for a beach whitin easy reach of SD, I wouldn't pick Boca Chica: it's just downright ugly and even stressful.

REASON # 2: THE GIRL'S GANGSTER TACTICS and BEHAVIOUR
I think I've read brothers calling Sosua girls "mafiosas". Well Boca Chica's surely are.

They ask for a propina because you talked to them, they ask for a propina because they called a friend over to talk to you, and, wait, they ask for a propina because they let you offer them a drink! No, really. Priceless. But if they do it, it means they find suckers who are happy to shell out, which brings me to my next point.

REASON # 3: PARTLY SUBJECTIVE
I'm not a patriotic guy and so I rarely feel ashamed of my countrymen, but Boca Chica offered the exception. The problem is not so much that Italians constitute a good 80% of the tourist male population (when I'm on holiday I don't like to hear my lingo, but I could accept it): the problem is Italians have been going there for years and have opened businesses and now the whole town, Dominican guys and girls, speak Italian. That's just too much.

And because the locals have been exposed to the Italian mongering scum, now they think all Italians are like that, and behave accordingly.
If anyone is looking for an explanation of the term eurothrash, go to Boca Chica.
Families bringing kids to this shithole where every couple of meters hustlers offer cocaine and whatnot. What are they thinking?
I don't know how Boca Chica was years ago, but I can safely say Italians have greatly contributed to its downfall.
As an Italian I had a difficoult time getting girls to behave naturally with me, but others may have an easier time.

POSITIVES
They are few, but:

- Compared to Sosua the main drag here (Avenida Duarte) has more bars and shops, and it's a little more lively in the twilight hours.

- In the disco in front of bar Piano, once you take Dominican guys out of the equation, the average is probably 4 girls for every monger.

- Hotel El Candil, confirm everything written before.
The staff at the hotel told me I could safely walk from Duarte to the hotel gate at night by myself, and that I shouldn't expect any problem.

- Finally, the girls. As you can see from my second set of pics (4 to 6), their behaviour and Italian prowess notwithstanding, girls are hot hot hot. But so are everywhere else in the DR.

I don't know how Boca Chica was years ago, but I can safely say Italians have greatly contributed to its downfall.

As an Italian I had a difficoult time getting girls to behave naturally with me, but others may have an easier time.I first went to Boca Chica the first time about 8 years ago, even then it was rough around the edges. Seemed to me that some undesirable Dominican types who could not cut it in Santo Domingo, decided to make Boca Chica their home.

I walked around Boca Chica all hours of the night and the only people who harassed me were Dominican women, one very skinny older lady on calle duarte who pulled a knife on me at 4am, when I wouldn't give her loose change when she was begging.

There was one bar on calle duarte that employed about 5 Dominican chicas, me and a friend walked by one night and the waitresses tried to get us to stop for drinks, but we kept walking and the chicas yelled insults at us.

The casas (massage houses) in Boca Chica were fun with some attractive chicas.

I don't know if Italians contributed to the down fall of Boca Chica. There are plenty of Italians in Bayahibe and Bayahibe is very nice.

Could be that birds of a feather flock together, rough Italians hanging with rough Dominicans in Boca Chica.

When I stay in Santo Domingo and want the beach I drive past Boca Chica an extra 15 minutes and go to Juan Dolio. Juan Dolio during the week is quiet, on the weekends more cars and people. Appears to me that Juan Dolio has much less of the undesirable types that can be found in Boca Chica.

I first went to Boca Chica the first time about 8 years ago, even then it was rough around the edges. Seemed to me that some undesirable Dominican types who could not cut it in Santo Domingo, decided to make Boca Chica their home.

.

My first time in BC was in 1998, it was nice, but according to some people I know it was better in the early to mid 90's, cheap and plenty of pretty girls. Government and closing of massage places near a decade ago helped in the falldown of BC.

...REASON # 3: PARTLY SUBJECTIVE
I'm not a patriotic guy and so I rarely feel ashamed of my countrymen, but Boca Chica offered the exception. The problem is not so much that Italians constitute a good 80% of the tourist male population (when I'm on holiday I don't like to hear my lingo, but I could accept it): the problem is Italians have been going there for years and have opened businesses and now the whole town, Dominican guys and girls, speak Italian. That's just too much.

And because the locals have been exposed to the Italian mongering scum, now they think all Italians are like that, and behave accordingly.
If anyone is looking for an explanation of the term eurotrash, go to Boca Chica.
Families bringing kids to this shithole where every couple of meters hustlers offer cocaine and whatnot. What are they thinking?
I don't know how Boca Chica was years ago, but I can safely say Italians have greatly contributed to its downfall...Damn!! Another well written and easy to read review. This report summarizes the Boca Chica experience much better than most.

BTW, your opinions in "Reason #3" had me rolling on the floor with laughter!!

Cheers,
Helpmann :)

Reading trip reports always brings back memories. I took a sdq chica to boca chica one week day afternoon. An old italian guy sat next to us. He was pleasant, he said he was a retired music teacher and that since he moved to Boca Chica he no longer had pain from his arthritis.

I saw one vendor almost get into a physical fight with some Dominican Mom. The vendor was pushing some cart that had some kind of hot liquid and the vendor almost burned some young Dominican kid and the mom was pissed.

They are few, but:

- Compared to Sosua the main drag here (Avenida Duarte) has more bars and shops, and it's a little more lively in the twilight hours.

So would ou go as far as to say that Boca chica is more lively than Sosua? Just interested in your opinion.

It is more lively with the wrong type of people. Sosua is better.

I've been to both places recently too. Sosua is somewhat better organized, if I dare use that word, with regards to the mongering scene. One advantage that BC has is that flights to SDQ tend to be cheaper than POP or any other airport in country and its only 15 minutes by cab to BC. Of course its only 20 minutes to Sosua from POP too so its a wash in that regard. My sense is that decent lodging is a bit less expensive and more reliable in Sosua than BC but that can all depend on certain factors. I believe Sosua is a bit safer at night. BC just doesn't feel as safe to me at night by the way the town is laid out and the street lighting dims considerably once you head down side streets. BC feels better to me during the day however. Feels less hectic except during weekends when the city folk come into town to enjoy the beach.
If you happen to have business in Santo Domingo then BC can serve as a pleasant diversion for a night or weekend but you might want a wingman. Sosua can me managed solo if you don't drift too far from the center. Its not a bad drive between Santo Do and BC but you'd need some time to learn the roads and the capital city is about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. I used to live in Santo Do a while back and things may have changed but the city can be fun at night if you know where to go.

Just wanted to know if anyone has had experiences with http://www.totalsatisfactionadultholidays.co.uk/ who offer all inclusive sex holidays in Boca Chica?

They have had resorts different places in the Caribbean but moved to DR about 8 months ago.

Hi boyz and men,

Been to BC a coupla times. Some incredible rip-offs. (threatening calling the police) though also some incredblie beach bbj's for $10.

Recommend the Hotel Magic Tropical ($35). Pool; small clean rooms w/ daily servie; good security (they take the girls' id).

Sosua is cheaper and more chill. I speak passable spanish. When I went to a bar with my chica negra I asked "cuanto del las chicas estan trabajando? ". She said "all of them". So price negotiation is up to you. But a decent hotel where you are bigger than the bugs is ony $25.

Is it a safe trip. I'm going to look like a reel tourist with my white arms and big suitcase?Punta Cana is so much nicer than Boca Chica. There appears to be mongering opportunities in Punta Cana.

Most people take Expresso Bavaro from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana. Expresso Bavaro also does the return trip from Punta Cana/Bavaro to Santo Domingo. The bus has to pass by Boca Chica to get to Santo Domingo, I would imagine they could let you off in Boca Chica. Their phone number is: 809-542-3027. They probably have a webpage. You may want to give them a call and ask them about your trip from Punta Cana to Boca Chica.

I was told the buses are nice and modern.

Safe in what way? About a year ago a bus crashed head on with another vehicle, I believe 16 Italian tourists were killed. Accidents happen everywhere in this world. Generally the buses are safe. I have never read anything about crime on any buses in the Dom Rep.

If you use google chrome browser and you open a webpage written in Spanish, Google Chrome has an option wherein it will translate the page from Spanish to English.

That place does airport pickup from Santo Domingo included in their price. Maybe you are flying from Europe and you can get a better airfare flying into Punta Cana.

If you will be staying at the total satisfaction place, I would suggest you send them an email asking them how much they would charge, to send their driver to pickup you up in Punta Cana. It is probably about a 3-4 hour drive from Boca Chica to Punta Cana Airport.

Yes airport pickup is included in their package but doesn't include punta cana.

They told me they could send a car to pick me up / $100 for each transfer.

Agreed, Boca Chica is small, everything is within walking distance.I agree:

El Candil and Costalunga are very good hotels, I will add El Calypso (behind El Candil)

Good things to do in BOCA CHICA:

During the day the real action is on the beach, try to stay away from Duarte street,

Entering the night I recommend Duarte Street until 12am or 1am.

When the action ends at Duarte the best place to go is the bar at the hotel mozart, they stay open until 5am every night behind closed doors is where the action is.

Things to avoid:

Motoconchos or taxi drivers that will tell you to get chicas will try to drive you away of the tourist safe zone.

Don't go into the dark streets. Only use Duarte street and Juan Bautista Vicini that are very illuminated and safe.

There are certain chicas that are very dangerous and have a knife in their purse. THE ONE LEGGED GIRL AND HER FRIENDS ARE THIEVES.

If you see that girl around your company don't leave your drink unattended, especially when talking, dancing or using the restroom.

Avoid Casa Iraisa: they have cameras on the rooms and will get you on an hidden cam amateur video.

What's the deal with Mozart?

Another nice spot are the food stands on Caracol close to the highway. Always a few chicas passing by who never make it to Durate. Get friendly with one of the motoconchistos and he will import chicas from the barrio for you. If you don't like the first one he brings he will ride off and bring another. You can get these chicas for 1k, 1.5k max.

The deal with the mozart is simple, I get a special of 500 pesos per a few hours to use one room.

When I am in their bar I am just steps away from my room to bring chicas back and forth. I feel completely safe since the doors is closed and they only allow good reputation girls to enter, so it's filtered.

After the quake in Haiti, I guess eventually there will be other service providers with missing limbs. Boca Chica is the closest beach to Santo Domingo and ten minutes from Las Americas Airport, so it will always have a client base. Reading the Dominican Republic forums here in ISG, the Boca Chica thread has the most negative posts, usually concerning crime. There are other areas in Dom. 1.5k is not paying too much if the motoconchisto brings you back one of the gems from the barrio. I don't do Boca Chica no where near as often as I used to but BC can still be fun. The main thing is stay away from the hustlers "who can get you girls". If you are new let the security guard hook you up with a good motoconcho driver. The strip is safe as can be during the day and night.

It's been about two months since I was in BC at night. The weekends still seem to attract a small crowd. BC is not a complete loss, some guys like it and some guys don't.

Warren X I am going to guess you have a financial interest in Mozart. You have 2 posts and both were concerning Mozart in a positve way. The early part of this year I spent a night at Mozart only because Costalunga and Candil was booked solid. Let me just say one night was enough. I did not retire to my room until about 1:30am and the bar at Mozart was dead. There were two chicas in the bar and I would not have taken them to my room if they were free.

I try to post honest information. Sure sometimes prices I quote guys can get the same things cheaper because they are regulars. I post what someone who doesn't know the ropes should expect to pay.

Warren X would you be so kind to explain how one can go to Mozart, have a great time and not spend more than $RD 2,000.

1) Never talk to street hustlers.

2) Never mess with girls in packs, look for sola.

3) Pay attention to who she greets and who greets her. You want a girl that doesn't seem to know anyone.

4) Never tell the hotel you are staying at.

Been a long time since I posted anything but i can tell you this. The rules of the game NEVER change. Only the players. Everyman has his own "limit" so to speak,so this is not to add on to the never ending debate of how much is too much. Having said that. 5,000 is too much. Am I contradicting myself here? Well..not exactly. Quality over quantity is a good thing. However. 5000 would afford you either 4 Good Duarte Chicas or 2 Great House Chicas of your choice. Just for future reference in that type of scenario. Offer the motoconcho 500 for a 1500 girl. You spend. 2000 total. Trust me on this. He will make 800 commission and the chica will get 1200 which is, in BC terms,VERY standard and acceptable.

BTW. If she is nice and accomadating, by all means tip her an additional 500 pesos. It works to your favor because SHE WILL tell her friends.Trust me on this one.

is a VERY good friend of mine. Her name is Pamela. Pronounced Pah-meh-la. She is DEFNITELY a hustler. We met about 8 yrs ago during my first trip and have been cool ever since. She is one of the prettest girls in BC BUT, she is NOT a GFE. If your searching for that then look elsewhere.

She has a HUGE family and they dont let her go without. She is very independent. She likes her beer, cigarettes, marijuana, and occasional sniff if you catch my drift. That aside she is one of the sweetest girls if you get to know her. Chances are she wont even let you get that close to her emotionally.

OK I see where there is some confusion. My original post I mentioned having a "good" motoconchisto, one that is your regular for your stay. I met a couple of guys hanging on the corner from Costalunga which I used exclusively.

When I was feeling lazy I would tell the moto guy to get me a girl and tell him what I was spending. Let's say 1500 pesos. He would bring a chica back and if she was to my liking I would keep her. I paid the chica 1500 pesos. When finished with her the moto guy took her home and they split the money whatever way that made each of them happy. No way would I give a moto guy 500 pesos to find a girl. No way.

This is what I said in my original post.........You can get these chicas for 1k, 1.5k max.

The so called motoconchisto fee was added to the equation by Warren X who in my opinion is trying to get business for Mozart.

One other thing and not directed at you Curry. The prices I mention are what I believe the average person will pay. In most cases I pay less because the chicas know me, I know prices in the area. Your average one time visitor is NOT going to find 700 peso chicas.

No way.

Do I get half off to make up for the one less leg? What good is she? I can see now doggy style like a wobbly table. Buck? Forget it. Tell her 500 is my final offer. When I saw her she had no prosthetic, all of her weight was being carried by the one good leg. The one good leg must be strong. She might have super strong pussy lips.

1.5k? then the motoconcho fee, then hotel.

I think you are paying too much

The deal with the mozart is simple, I get a special of 500 pesos per a few hours to use one room.

When I am in their bar I am just steps away from my room to bring chicas back and forth. I feel completely safe since the doors is closed and they only allow good reputation girls to enter, so it's filtered.

I never spend more than 2000 pesos per night (including drinks)What Hotel do you stay at?

How was it.Last month while sipping a Presidente at the colmado across the street from Europa I asked myself, "what happened to that hotel"? Europa is dead as can be. I saw no one coming or going. Forget about Europa.

Has anybody stayed at the Hamilton Hotel? If so is how is it and is it walking distance to the action.Hamilton is on Caracol and probably the farthest hotel from the strip. It is not a bad hotel just toooo far. The best hotels now are Costalunga, El Candil, Mango, or Magic Tropical. Costalunga and El Candil being the best IMO.

Does anybody knows a good website to find a map of Boca Chica where all the hoels and bars are at.This is not the best hotel map but the only one I know of. Use this in conjunction with google map.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj6pbKO2tzgLooks like he took many early morning photos for that video. I guess the piano bar is the place with the piano keys painted on the back wall. The place with the blue wall out front (i am color blind), has a white metal gate outside, I remember that place as being like a small disco 8 years ago (3:02 on the video). When I first went to Boca they were constructing that big pink condominium building. Lots of New York Yankees baseball caps in DR.

The photos in that video make boca look very nice. "Nada de Nada", bachata song by Frank Reyes. Costalungo pool looks nice.

For comparison the guy should put in some photos of boca from around 5pm on a Sunday.

Finished 2 days on the playa en Boca Chica ans that was 1 day too many LOL. Looked at Europa but room was subpar ,Found another one down the street that had the Italian boot on the outside for $40.00 a nite after negotiating them down.
Saw the 1 legged gal and all of Lil Italy. In Zona Colonial in SD now and what a refreshing differance !!! The only incident was some beach trolls with the fresh octopus, shrimp, etc. that served us and wanted 4000 pesos. I looked at them and told my novia to tell them " really !" I put 500 on the table and my I.D. wallet which had the words P O L I C E clearly written on them LOL the look was priceless after I told them if that wasnt enough I will call my friends over - can you say vanish ! :-) I think word spread quickly as we were no longer offered massages, manicures, pedicures, or beach jewelry.

How was it.Last time I was in Boca Chica was April 2010 and I stayed in that roach trap. It sucks bad (No Service) and a really crappy room with a 1970 in the wall AC that barely spits warm air. However the girl action did not mind the sweating and neither did I. For 35 USD it was over price. However very convenient to the strip and the beach.

Secret hook up? ...... and not sharing? I know what you mean about keeping some things secret cause you never know who is reading what and who has the BIG mouth.

Hotel Zapata is the only hotel I know of in the DR that is chica friendly and you can actually walk out of your room and be on the beach. It was always nice chilling outside in the chaise lounge chairs at night, right on the beach, and your room less than a minute walk away.

Thanks for the info. What Clubs and Bars are the Hot Spot.I was there again this past Friday but this time stayed at the Costalunga it is away from Duarte and the beach but a motoconcho will take you everywhere. Boca Chica right now is pretty much dead this time of year. I like boca chica although it is dead because you can find a few 6's if you take your time plus its a getaway from Santo Domingo for me I do my thing solo always. I had a matinee one from the pink house right next to the Costalunga thin long hair and great BBBJ at night I hit the strip but I tell you nothing to write about at all it seems it is for Regulars, Strip business owners who had all the 7 and 8 sitting at their tables on the strip. The SW that where left did not catch my attention at all, so I called one that I had from previous trips and worked off my magharita pizza I had while watching the Duarte show.

Boca must have been something else in its day.

I used to always split my time between Boca Chica and Santo Domingo. Lately I just stick with SD. Boca Chica is not what it used to be but you can still have a good time. Your choice with Costalunga Hotel was a good one. If their rates have not changed it was $40 a night.

The thing with BC is you need phone numbers from previous chicas. If not you have to scout out the good chicas on Duarte at night. Another good thing to do as I posted in the past is get friendly with one of the motoconchistos who work near Costalunga. These guys will ride to the barrio and bring you back some really nice non-pro chicas.

I flew into BC for a few days just to relax and de-stress. Although, I’ve been to the North Coast, I haven’t been to BC since 2007. I have read that things have gone downhill in BC and those posts were right.

I got in Friday morning after spending the night in the Newark Airport, so I checked in at the Costalunga and grabbed a quick meal and take a walk on the beach. Unfortunately, the tout/hawker/peddler to tourist ratio is now like 1 to 5. I should have just made a big “NO” sign and walked down the beach holding it. “No voy a comprar nada”, “No necesito un guía”, “Ya tengo chicas mías”. “Dejame a pasar la playa en paz”. Over and over again. It completely ruined the beach for me. After a long nap, I showered up and went down to the main strip on Calle Duarte to see that the quality has dropped significantly since my last trip to BC in 07. I see a few cuties though, but I see a lot of 2nd and 3rd tier girls. As soon as I hit the strip I get greeted Gabriella/Gaby, who I had a very lame drunken encounter with in 07. This chick immediately remembers me and starts in on how she missed me so much and why did I wait so long to come back, etc. I have zero interest in spending a second of my vacation with her so quickly blow her off. I get some chicken and watch Donde Está Elisa? w/ the waitress. She's shocked that I know the show. I guess she didn’t know we have Telemundo in the U.S. Since it was just us in the restaurant we had a pretty good convo. I made a mental note to see her tomorrow to see where it leads.

I leave and go post up at a bar and have a few beers. I get propositioned by a few low tier chicas that I dismiss quickly. Then in comes this girl that runs up and kisses me. She looks cute so I don't flip out. She says "¿no me recuerda?" I tell her that I dont. She tries to refresh my memory and I finally put 2 and 2 together and figure out that she's the chica that my boy was with in 2007. She actually remembered us too. This town is too damn small. I also remembered that my boy said she was incredible in bed and total PSE so I said why not make the best of a shitty day and pick the sure thing. She seemed disappointed that I just wanted to go to the Cachela Hotel for a few hours, but after I explained that I slept in the airport last night and I really need to sleep, she got it.

So me and her head over to the Cachela. Session starts great. We shower and start. After various foreplay activities and in the midst of passion, I didn’t stop her from putting the shitty off brand condom on me and hoping on top. I usually always use my own properly sized and durably strong gringo condom but I didn't want to interrupt the groove. Well guess who broke the shitty off brand condom? I didn't realize until after I finished and pulled out to see a 1/2 a condom on my dick. I tell her and we both freak out. So she runs into the shower to try to rinse my leche out. After we shower it dawns on me that the other 1/2 of the condom was still in her. So I spent the next 20 minutes practicing amateur gynecology on her trying to excavate the condom fragments. I gave her money for the morning after pill, which I believe is illegal here, but she says she can get it. I fully expect that she'll spend the $ on something else and not get the pill. Cuz that’s what short sighted chicas do. Of course, the break also means that I’ll have to hit the doc’s office for a full check up once I get back. ¡Coño!

Funny post. From what I know the morning after pill is legal in the Dom Rep. From what I have been told that there are various treatments that can be given to a chica, by a doctor, in the Dom Rep, that will abort a pregnancy.

I have seen those local condoms many times in the Cabanas wrapped in plastic. I always use trojan brand condoms. You can buy antibiotics at any pharmacy there in Dom Rep. For Chlamydia you would need Doxycline, 200 mg a day for 7-10 days. For Gonorrhea you can buy Cefixima in Dom Rep. Cipro and Zithromax (a single one gram dose of zithromax may be good for Chlamydia) are also readily available. Prices for antibiotics are not terribly expensive (20-40 dollars). You don't need a prescription.

There were a some lookers in Mozart, but another chica I was trying to avoid was also there on both nights I checked it out, so I didn't stay long. I realize that I went during the heart of the slow season, so that may have played a role in the quality/quantity.

I should have rented a car, but since I didn’t I decided to make the best of playa during the day on Saturday. I really just wanted to chill, sip some presidentes and do some reading in peace. I decided just to hit different restaurants/bars on the beach that prohibited the 100s of vendedores, chulos, etc, from entering. I also hung out w/ the waitress I met on Friday during day. I probably don't have enough time to hit cuz she knows the deal and is leery of foreigners. She made it clear that she’s a total non-pro. She's seemed very educated. We talked a lot about politics and the economy in the DR and the U.S.

So after she went to work, I ate at the Pequeña Suiza and then hit Casa Iraisa and had a pretty good time. The extra DOP 1000 was definitely worth not having to deal with the Duarte hassles. I picked Patricia. Chiquita and curvy with a medium brown complexion. She was very gfe, but wouldn't do pics......I tried. Apparently, some idiota showed her either ISG or another site on his Iphone. Iraisa had about 13-15 girls that night. I would have definitely been happy with at least ½ of them. I only saw 3 other paying customers during the 3 hours I was there. There were a few Italians and Dominicanos that appeared to just be hanging out.

On Sunday, I went down to the farthest west point of the playa and just hung out. Since Sunday is a huge family day at the beach when a ton of people come from Santo Domingo, it was interesting to people watch and observe. On my way back to the hotel the same chica that keeps propositioning me from Pink House gave it one last try. I said what the hell I’m bored. Since we were talking on Juanico Garcia and she didn't want to get caught working off the clock. I told her to discretely walk around the other way and meet me at the Costalunga. I negotiated a DOP 800 BBBJ to completion. I was expecting a quick mechanical slurp and go with more hand than mouth, but she was actually a lot better than I expected. Her body was way too flaquita for my tastes, but her mouth was incredible. After I shot my leche, she actually kept it in her mouth and asked if she could spit. My first instinct was to reply “No ¡tragala!”, but I decided to not be an asshole.

Later that night I hooked back up with Senorita Super PSE from Friday night. Another excellent performance, but this time with the condom intact. Since I was borracho and I shot a load earlier with the Pink House chica it took forever for me to cum. She never once stepped down her intensity like a lot of chicas do if you take a long time.

On Monday I decided to hire a cab to go to Juan Dolio. Juan Dolio has an excellent playa with near white sand and deep blue water. Much more laid back and relaxed then BC. I actually preferred the rougher water and cool breeze to the swimming pool of BC. Very few people on the beach, but I did she a few semi-pro type chicas that I did the smile and wave deal with. I just wanted to enjoy the beach so I didn’t call them over. I stayed there for about 5 hours and then headed back to BC. I hung out with the waitress again. We exchanged emails and numbers. I’ll see how legit she is if she refrains from any Western Union type requests. Lol.

At night, I had planned just to return to Iraisa, but I never made it. The guard at the hotel had a chica waiting for me when I walked out to the lobby. He told me that he was going to bring me a great chica. I just blew him off and told him I'll find my own. But when I saw her, I was highly impressed. She was fucking fine. We hung out for awhile at the Hamaca casino bar, as I was doing my best to avoid the Duarte strip and its drama. Anyway, back to the room and she was off the charts. Not pse, but a disturbingly intimate gfe. I was actually a lil uncomfortable at first. She says she's just very affectionate if a guy treats her nice. Which she said is very rare w/ the scum that visits this town. But working girl or not, she's still a woman and every woman needs affection. I was more than happy to give it to her. All in all she was my best chica of the trip. Although, I can say I was 4 for 4 during my stay.

I’m amazed at the fact that 3 girls from 2007 remembered me. Senorita Super PSE didn’t even hook up with me, but still remembered me. Unfortunately, one of them took on a stalker like roll and I had to get ignorant so she would get the point to leave me alone. This town is too small. Obviously, Sosua is too, but at least it seems like the higher volume of chicas, guys and the much higher churn rate of the chicas make it less likely of having the same issues of constantly running into girls that you don’t want to repeat with. Well, that was my experience anyway.

......Well, that was my experience anyway.
Thanks for sharing Caballero Oscuro. Boca Chica always seems to get such negative reports it is nice to read something positive. You have to have the right mindset to enjoy BC and obviously you do.

The touts, hawkers, and vendors are enough to turn anyone off about being in BC but once they see you a few times and realize you don't want to be bothered they tend to leave you alone. I always did like people watching at night on the strip. Having a meal at night on the beach was always a favorite of mine also.

Casa Iraisa I have never been to and can't recall seeing it. My hotel of choice is Costalunga and yes indeed the guard there can find you some nice chicas. There are quite a few chicas in the BC barrio who want a few extra pesos but won't be caught dead on the strip for fear of someone seeing them.

The western end of BC can be something else on the weekend especially Sundays and holidays. Seeing them bikini clad chicas only makes me wish I was a lot younger and fluent in Spanish. LOL

Does Costalunga have WiFi in the rooms yet? That was the only thing I didn't like about that hotel was having to walk to the top floor with your laptop to get a connection. Costalunga usually had a few chicas hanging in the sitting area outside in front at night. I also never had a problem with more than one chica in the room at Costalunga.

The wifi worked for me in the chairs in the hallway, but I couldn't keep a signal in the room. The owner said they are upgrading the network to have antennas on all floors.

Great posts. Near the public beach in Juan Dolio is showgirls, right across the street from the public beach, nude dancing, you can have sex in house there or take a chica out. During the week, juan dolio is tranquil. Some rocks in the water so be careful if go you for a swim there.

What's the price structure like at the clubs in Juan Dolio?

Whenever I stayed there I always had to go to the top floor right outside the owner's apartment. There were a couple of chairs and a table but still not as nice as getting a signal in the room.

There are a couple of different hotels I stay at in SD and each hotel has an antenna on every floor. Even with the thick concrete walls you get an excellent signal in the room.

What's the price structure like at the clubs in Juan Dolio?4 places in Juan Dolio, that I know of with chicas: Caprichios, Showgirls, El Caucho and VIP. I have been in Caprichios, each time about 4-5 chicas, I wasn't interested in take out so I didn't ask the price, there were 2 above average chicas.

Showgirls was fun. The chicas get up on the dance platform, the dance platform has metal chains around it, each chica got nude on the dance platform. I saw a couple of cute chicas in Showgirls. I drank a few beers, some chica sat next to me, she started massaging my dick over my pants. From what I remember, she said 2000 pesos in house, 2500 take out. I was on my to Santo Domingo that night so I didn't sample her.

VIP Club is on the main highway, on the north side of the main highway. I have only seen that place open one time, I have driven by it over ten times. I was on my to the airport the one night I saw it open and didn't have the time to stop in.

El Caucho is about one block east of Showgirls. I have never been in El Caucho, one cute chica who Boricua Online knows, used to work at El Caucho.

There will be pro chicas walking around the public beach and hanging out around the bars near the public beach in juan dolio.

The Boulevard in Juan Dolio is the main street that runs through Juan Dolio. Then there is a smaller road that runs along the beach. The Boulevard in Juan Dolio is a four lane road it is well lit at night with many street lights. Caprichios, El Caucho and Showgirls are on the Boulevard. Showgirls also has an entrance from the beach road.

Does anybody knows what the drees code to get into the clubs in Boca Chica. However you like and feel comfortable is the dress code everywhere from Hamaca, Neptuno all the way to el colmado en la esquina. I have to agree with the previous poster and I am guilty myself of too much BC bashing. Boca Chica can be fun if you want it to be.

Have fun!

I take it this is your first time going to Boca Chica. There really aren't any clubs to speak of in BC. Boca Chica is small, small, small and 5% of the amount of chicas you have seen in Sosua. Boca Chica can be a lot of fun but please don't go to BC thinking it is like Sosua.

One of my partners going with me and I told him but he still want to go. In ATL Delta has one flt a week going and coming. Thats why we going to BC, trust me I rather go to Sosua, it was of the chain last time I went.

My advice is to take a different approach than Sosua. If you speak even a small amount of Spanish avoid the girls that speak English at all costs. That means they have been in BC for years and are super hardcore pros. The Calle Duarte strip is much smaller and has alot less chicas than Pedro Clisante. I had a ton of drama on Duarte. If these get too hot try Casa Iraisa or another casa on the google map. You'll pay more, but you'll get a generally good, drama free session.

Beach wise, I recommend going to the far west end. There is a lot less touts and hawkers down on that end. Also, I'll second Jaososua's advice on Juan Dolio. I loved it. Out of the 6 beaches that I've been to in the DR, it's my favorite.

I rented a studio room, with a balcony facing the beach, that had a kitchen, for $50 per night. The less expensive rooms may not have a view of the beach. http://caribeparaisojuandolio.com/

2 - 3 nights Hotel Madejra.
OK, I have never stayed there but know where it is. Boca Chica is a small town but do you have a Google map? My favorite hotel is Costalunga. You might want to take a look at both hotels before you pay for your room. This time of year it probably won't be difficult finding a room on the weekend as long as you don't arrive very late at night.

Costalunga is further from the beach but much more a relaxing type of hotel than Hotel Madejra. Just my two centavos but I don't like Hotel Madejra's location. Costalunga is a 8-10 minute walk to the beach or just hop on one of the many motoconchos.

If you want you can spend a day in Santo Domingo just doing the tourist looking around thing. You can either find a chica to escort you and your wingman or it is not that hard to do solo.

Take a look at these hotels.

The above hotels are within a few minutes walk of each other. If you don't have a lot of luggage you can check all of them out and make up your mind. I really think you and your boy will be happier staying at one of the above.

I totally agree, Costalunga is nice, real nice and double chica friendly with no problem. Stebo419 is planning on staying at Hotel Madejra which I don't think is a good choice. Hotel Madejra is located on the same street as Europa. If walking towards the beach once you pass Europa Madejra is on the next block other side of the street. You familiar with this place?

I suggested Stebo419 take a look at at least two hotels before paying for a room. I would take El Candil as a second choice.

Not trying to confuse you but here is one more...........LOL

Hotel Zapata is right on the beach. Hotel Zapata is sort of like by itself in that there is no close by colmado, not really the type of hotel you might just want to hang out in front at night. I still put Costlunga #1.
