We walk down to a liquor store on the corner and there are a couple plastic chairs on the side street with the two guys drinking beer. Magically, more chairs appear, and a little table, and the first of many cold beers. Just like the barrio, this is drinking Dominican style, but we're off on a side street so can't see the action on the main drag except at a distance. Not to worry! People stop by to say Hello, cars, vans motoconchos, chicas, and it seems they're all related. Pretty soon, our little sidewalk is packed with locals and the chairs (as well as the large bottles of beers) keep magically appearing. Now there's music and some seriously bonita young chicas joining us. Novia explains that "he's from San Juan","she's from Choramicos","she's from sosua", more cousins from here or there, etc.

Some of you guys have got me so cynical, that I try to remember I'm with a puta, but it don't last long (Thanks Coolie!) because the beer keeps coming and this party is not about me at all. They are having a great time catching up with each other, and my novia is explaining who's who. I'm included like family. But I understand how she knows a lot of the chicas.

Brother sees me eyeballing the main street so he taps me on the shoulder and we go for a walk.

Hell, they've closed the street to traffic (around 10. 00 pm?) and the place is wall to wall chicas, just like Sosua in the old days. I pass a couple of the most beautiful young things I have ever seen and look for them again as we walk back, but they're gone. Too many chicas and not enough mongers. WOW! There was even Coolie's midget there (selling hats).

We get back to our crowd with a mock disapproval look from Princessa, and we carry on partying. Amigos and chicas come and go, there's beer in the little plastic cups for anybody who passes by. I'm paying for a lot of it, but in large bottles from the store, it's cheaper than water. You enjoyed yourself, that is what is important.

San Juan de la Maguana is not close to Boca Chica and is not close to Sosua. From your posts seems your dominican girlfriend has "family" in Boca Chica and Sosua. Your GF knowing lots of people in Sosua and Boca Chica, would be a red flag for me. Boca Chica and Sosua are the two main monger towns in DR. Dominicans do migrate to different towns to find work and usually tourist towns have more job opportunities.

You wrote that your GF gave you a mock disapproval look after you took a walk on calle duarte with her brother. To me, her giving you such a look is BS on her part, I wouldn't like it. You are paying the freight, it is DR and all you did was walk around with her brother on a street with putas.

I know guys who go to casas with their Gfs to find chicas for a threesome.

Take her to a Cabana and if she can work the system for the music and the television very well. Puta! I've been to cabanas about 100 times and still can't figure out the music system.I can't figure it out either.

My las trip I stayed in a cabana for about 8 hours. The chica asked for two sheets and told the guy we would be there for 8 hours. The extra 4 hours was an additional 200 pesos. In Princess Cabana on the Malecon, closest cabana to the Hilton, I didn't figure out how to turn off the A / C. I froze my ass, after I fell asleep with the chica. Prive Cabana is at the end of the Malecon, with a group of about 6 other cabanas. In Prive they have a trackball mouse which somehow helps control the digital music and videos (no clue how to use it). The first chica who took to me Prive in her car, knew how to use the mouse, LOL.

Hello,

You stayed in a hotel that charges you 116 dollars and 220 dollars? My god! Why not stay a cheaper hotels that is only 30 or 40 dollars. You will get much better service.I checked the rates for the Hamaca for the end of March, about $326 per night for double occupancy, the suites they have at the Hamaca for the same time period are about $533 per night.

When I stayed at the Hamaca years ago I booked a package including air. Cost of the room for me was about $50 per night. Most all inclusive hotels, I have stayed at have been about that price per night. I share the room with a wingman, total price per night for the all inclusive hotels I have stayed at were between $80-$120 per night (divided by two, for the per person rate). Package deals from new york including air and using coupon codes, especially in the off season, per night rates are not expensive.

Maybe the Paradisus Palma Real all inclusive hotel in punta cana is worth $300 per night. I would never pay $300 a night to stay at the Hamaca. Off season rates are much, much cheaper.

In my humble opinion. There is no need to spend 200 or 300 dollars for one night hotel in DR. If you want to give away money. Why not give the money to local women, they need to money to feed their families alot more than these giant hotel owners.

And yes, anyone please help me. I am going to Santo Domingo in 3/30/2011. If anyone has any info on how to get to boca chica, by bus, cheaply. Please help. It will be my first trip to DR.

Thanks

Great report and glad to see you are enjoying Boca. A wild guess, the street you were sitting on was across from the colmado on one corner and Europa Hotel was on another corner. There are a few nice restaurants on calle duarte and a really nice one is on the street heading to the beach by the park.As I remember it was the first side street on the right as you walk west on Duarte, a little before the park. Colmado on NE corner but never noticed the Europa Hotel there. The street stops at duarte and does'nt run south to the playa area.

I should mention that it was a Wednesday night and to see so many good lookin chicas was a complete suprise after reading the Boca board for a while. I wasn't there on the weekend, so I can only imagine the action then!

It's not rocket science to figure out what she was doing there, LOL

Looks like everyone is showing up to get in on the Oakiedoke action.

The non-hooker Dominicanas that I know do not dress like that.

Rule #3 of mongering is always book double occupancy. They probably would not check her in with you because they figured she was a hooker.

I'm anxious to see how this whole thing would play out if the money dries up. I get the best airfare if I book an AI package (single) Can't seem to book a AI package for 1 flight and double occupancy at the hotel, but next time I'll call ahead and make reservation for novia.

I don't know what the daily rates are at the Hamaca, 'cause my all inclusive (air, hotel, food and drink) cost me only 1000 us for the whole week. Since the airfare alone would be around 650, I figure its only costing me 350 for the hotel for a week, plus what they steal from me for the novia.

Its a super deal.

As for what happens when the money dries up, its simple. No airfare, no hotel, no beer.

And, no chica!

But that don't stop me from enjoying a Presidente while I can afford it, Hell, beer is not free, neither are women of all stripes, married, GF, or chicas.

There is a little bald headed young Dominican American pimp called Jimmy hanging around Calle Duarte and some hotels like Costalunga. Avoid him. He is bad news. He will latch onto you and then you can't get rid of him, beg for money, extort money (like 50%) from chicas even when he has played no part in hooking you up. He can be pleasant and charming at first meeting and speaks fluent English, so all the more reason to avoid him. Also he has NO access to quality chicas and is hated by all the street girls. Presumably he was deported from the US.

Contrast my motoconcho pal whose name is Boa (everyone knows him) has access to quality chicas not available on the street and does not extort or make excessive requests for money.

Now staying at Calypso hotel, which is $60 per night and very nice. Breakfast included.

In most cases these dudes were deported from the USA as a criminal. I agree with you on finding a good motoconcho guy. These guys, if you find the right one, will ride off to the barrio and bring you back a nice chica who wouldn't be caught dead on calle duarte.

You have any pics and more info of Calypso Hotel? Funny but the past couple of weeks looks as if the Boca thread has a new look, just when some were counting Boca down and out.

I don't know if I missed it or not but did you make a day trip from Boca it to Santo Domingo? Thanks for the support MiamiHeat and BQ. Everything you guys say, including my critics, is right on. The novia I call "special" just because she does it effortlessly and so well.

But, she conforms to the standard model, Western Union novia. There's always a birthday in the family. But when she asks for a little money, other than hair and nails, its always for mama, babina, bambino, school stuff, help with apartment and like that. I see them often enough that I know where the money goes.

Your link was partially deleted, so see my next report above for more hotel info and my change of plans.

The plan was for 2 days in Boca. 2 days in San Juan, and 2 days in Punta Cana with buddy and family on spring break, but novia and brother convinced me that it wasn't worth going to San Juan (5 or 6 hours by bus) just to see mama. A week would be best next time.

So, day 3 we go to town for a beer. A few chicas in the bars early but not the same quality as night time.

We go back to the pool bar at the hotel and get a good vibe on with the staff, it's a birthday for one bartender so he's hiding under the bar drinking, pouring whisky and mamaguanas for us, SALUD! A little music and the party is on.

A curvey tourist chick swims up to the bar to check out the action and joins us dancing. This bikini broad is built! About 28, and says she's from Boston. She's downing the shots. She grabs me on the floor and shakes everything she's got. Her Dominican novio is not too impressed and goes off to the other side of the pool. Novia's taking pictures (great, I'll post them to the board) Then she grabs my novia and grooves with her. Mama Mia!

I'm taking pictures and laughingly press them closer for the shot. A few suggestive poses, a few jokes, and she tells me novia is beautiful and she could get it on with her. We're dancing and I say what about me, can I watch, She says sure, I'd like to fuck you too! She'll come to our room.

Now without the novia (you cynical guys), none of this would be happening and I'd be just like the other monger at the bar, alone and watching the action.

Well, more dancing and drinking, with one eye out for her dominicano boyfriend, she tells me she's coming to Toronto in May and we start exchanging cards. I ask novia why don't we have a drink with her in our room?

Well, that does it, she freezes up! Up to then it was just a little fun but now she see's I'm serious, she backs way off. Party over! But hey, I got her card and some pictures.

We sit down and have the "little talk" I'd been planning. She's always honest with me if I ask her outright (there's a ritual where she swears on mama and bambino's life). Sure, she says, she worked in Sosua, but have I NOT talked to her friends these last two years? Don't I know that she worked more as an escort and never a bar or a street puta? She always chose a compatible guy to hook up with.

It's a fine line, but to her its a very important one.

Thinking back to the conversations I had with her friends (who have real jobs) and her aunt who speaks ingles, that's what they were always telling me."She's true to you!". Sure LOL.

But there's logic there too."Why do you think my family all like you,"because I do not have to go out anymore on dates with gringos, and can stay home and look after familiy".

OK maybe I'll buy that. But no party.

And more on the pictures later.

If you want to cut back on the budget, it can be done.

Travel tips you won't find in the American Airlines in-flight magazine.

For dinner I had a fried breast of chicken with plantains from the "Chino" restaurant in Calle Duarte, which was $45 pesos, then I splashed out another $10 pesos for a bottle of water, so the whole meal came to $55 pesos, which is $1. 50 in US money. It would have been cheap, except that I blew an extra $45 pesos for a mango flavored Italian ice cream for dessert from the guy who has a home ice cream factory and a tiny store in the street.

Then for the cabaret I went to the little brothel on the hill on the way down to the Costalunga hotel, just across the road from Villa Florenzia, the stunning building with all the statues. I told them that I only had $1000 pesos (which was true as far as the contents of my pocket at that moment) and was there anything available? They grumped a bit, but obviously it was a slow night, and I was given a choice of 4 girls. The one I took was called Joanny and was actually one of the better fucks I have ever had with some great moves. None of the girls there are stunners in terms of appearance, but they are good company and aim to please. The ambience is a little primitive there, but I find that a turn-on. As I had no more money, I tipped her a spare condom, which she appreciated.

Those saved bucks goes to buying another plane ticket. No way could I make as many trips a year as I do if I was bit spender. My pockets just aren't that deep.

Said goodbye to novias brother and his amigo, and went into town so's Princessa could get her hair and nails done in prep for our last two days in Punta Cana with my buddy, his wife and two teenage daughters.

Buddy had met her in Sosua, but to invite her and me to spend two full days with them in a high end hotel seemed a little daunting!

After 3 hours in the beauty shop, with me down the street in the bar, we headed back to the Hamaca Hotel. We hung around the pool but no sign of the chick from Boston.

Back in the room I grabbed her camera to download pictures to my laptop, but whoah! No pictures.

What happened? She said she'd accidently deleted them all.

So I go into the Spanish Inquisition mode, complete with the ritual swearing on mama and bambinos life.

She said that some of the photos of us and the Boston chick, and the ones of me joking around with the chicas at the street party were embarrasing to her, and she didn't want me bring them home to show to my friends. She said she had tried to delete just a couple, but accidently deleted them all. (camera I gave her had english menues etc.)

I don't know, there were some good ones of her at the beach, that she really liked, so maybe that was the truth. Some of the others were me being a little over the top, and I know my former wives would have probably done the same.

Anyway, we go for dinner, see the show at the hotel and an early start tomorrow for Punta Cana.

We had a good time there and although I'll be in Sosua in April, I'll definitely be back to Boca.

Helpmann,

Thank you. You are the best! Actually the cost of Expreso Boca Chica is 70 pesos, barely under two dollars, be sure to take the EXPRESO bus that goes directly to Boca Chica with no stops until they reach the San Andres-Boca Chica area, there is another bus on the same station that makes a lot of stops. A taxi from Gazcue to Parque Enriquillo, where Expreso Boca Chica bus station is, cost 130 pesos using Apollo taxi. A full trip report later on the week.

We had a good time there and although I'll be in Sosua in April, I'll definitely be back to Boca.I knew a chica in SDQ who snooped around in my laptop years ago. She opened the Pictures folder on the laptop and found some photos of chicas, (that were sent through messenger) and the chica started cross examining me about those other chicas. This snoopy chica was pretty, but she was not my GF. I dropped her. For the past few years, I really haven't had any snoopy chicas, nosing around in my electronics.

Your chica has some cajones, deleting all the photos on your digital camera, without asking you. Not all DR chicas are like that, to me it is another sign of distrust, which is not healthy. If you and her were on a 50-50 basis as far as money, then she could have the right to do certain things. If you are helping her financially and she feels free to invade your privacy (digital camera) , then in my opinion she has overstepped her boundaries. She may learn to respect your things or maybe she will continue to do whatever she wants with impunity. There are many pretty chicas in DR who won't overstep boundaries. You know what is best for you, just my 2 pesos.

Hey!

Thanks for that, I'll definitely check it out. Common Oakie, you know these rules, Never ever let the hoe's touch the digital. If they want to look? You hold onto the camera and show them right there. The minute they have the camera in their hands 4 things start to happen. #1 They start they start to touch any button their long 3" nails can push to see what it does. #2 They will delete all photos they think they don't look good in. They might even do it on purpose and call it an "accident" Their not as stupid as the portray themselves to be. They know what that little "garbage pail" icon means. #3 They all of a sudden might develop a conscience and if you have any nudes or clips of them, start to delete them (see rule #2) and #4 In case you have older pics from other areas and other ladies you're going to be in the doghouse.

Remedies? Every night upload and then delete the SD card. Bring multiple sd cards with you and an extra one in your pocket. Swap them out upload and then delete. Should be a regular habit. Cheers buddy!

p.s. Also a link for you buddy! http://www.cardrecovery.com/os.asp

When they don't want pics they are covering up their activity from someone else. Enjoy being the other man but do fool yourself and think you are her man

MiamiHeatLuver beat me to it, but deleted photos on SD cards are very easy to recover, there are loads of free programs you can use. Just make sure you don't re-use the card until you have recovered the photos because sometimes they get over-written and will not be recoverable.

Also for privacy or confidentiality you should wipe the card after deleting photos, if you want to make it unrecoverable - formatting alone won't do it. There are also free programs for that.

(P. S. Please, please don't mention this to chicas ! )

We got tons of pics together and with her and her family. The ones she deleted were mostly me and the street party chicas, and me, her and the crazy chick from Boston.

Hell when we video call, she has a framed picture of me and her on her dresser!

Looking for some inexpensive hotels in Boca Chica. Will be leaving out in a week. Need help fast.Try Costalunga or El Candil. There seems to be a consensus that they are the best value. Costalunga is I think still $40 a night with a kitchenette, AC, nice pool, chicas in and around the lobby. No Wi-fi in room. You can google for their websites. Usually not a problem reserving a room by email a few days in advance.

My bad Bq ribs, I've been kind of busy lately. The trip was of the chain. Me and my wingman arrived in Boca Chica March 5, 2011. We stayed at the Costalunga, it was nice. When we got to the hotel we met some guys there. They had a driver to takes us around Santo Domingo to check out some casas. The casas was full of chicas, we was there about 3 hrs then we went back to Boca Chica. Boca Chica wasn't all that bad. We was planning on staying 3 nights, but we ending up staying 2 more nights because we was having so much fun. My wingman did 4 Chicas our last night night within 13 hrs. I had 2 Chicas the last night night. The last chica I had sucked all the cum out of me and I was drain after that. Me and my wingman planning another trip to Boca Chica in June.

I was interested, as probably others, how your Boca Chica trip went because some were saying don't waste your time in BC. If you are planning another trip to Boca Chica that speaks for itself. I have always enjoyed Costalunga while some enjoy El Candil, both are good choices.

It has been awhile since I stayed at Costalunga but do they still have a few chicas who come by in the evening and hang out in the front outdoor lobby area? Did you by any chance go to Mozart late night?

Well I have decided to post some reports on my recent trip (DR). So since Christmas and before I have notice that the airport (SDQ) has been going under alot of changes good improvements, I guess with all the flights from JFK (5-7) dailly and I hear that AmericanAirlines is reducing the amount of flights from San Jaun so I guess JetBlue will be moving in there also, just a thought? So now let me talk about my first night (Saturday) in Boca, for those who think there is alot of dark skin chicas well not no more, the light skin chicas are making a comeback. Several more of them are out. I got to talking to one of the barmaids and asked what's up with that and she said that several of them are from "Sosua" and making good money there but after getting arrested several times they are coming here now to make money. Saturday night was the most girls (4-1) in the main strip I have seen in all my trips tables of them just sat there waiting for some action. It is a open market most of the chicas will not go under a 1000peseos but I'm sure if my spainish was better I can get it for cheaper. I will also touch on the way they look at the young or old blackman hip-hop hat backwards style pants half down always holding there penis type of person in my next report! And just to let everyone know I'm a brown male myself. Day 1

Lets just say the morning started out well, just for the fact that my novia would be at her hair salon from 10am-3pm, and I would be free (somewhat) to roam. She tells me that she must get all the leche out of me so I can not give it to no other chica on the street or call no chica on the phone to come to the room cool with me so we take care of things, after we get done we shower and head down to the lobby to get her I'd back, in the lobby we run into several (5-7) middle age brown skin guys also with their chicas getting their I'd's back, we all look at eachother and smile. Outside while waiting for a motobike she ask what are my plans for the day (trying not to smile) I say not much just exchange (37. 35) some money and then I will comeback here (Hostal Zapata) and hangout, she looks and says ok but chicas for you, she rides away. As I walk down the street not much happening some people out an about, lots of couples, family's walking towards the beach. I decide to stop and hang at a colmado near the park and as soon as I turn to look for a seat in the park who walks up to me, but the light skin chica in the video (Jfregedie) posted she says hola her english is getting better she ask for a beer I say no I'm cool we talk a little and she leaves but to me she looks like she has one in the oven, not sure didn't want to ask. After several hours hanging out with the shoeshine kids and trying to learn spanish I decide to head back to Zapata to sober up for my novia's return. Part 1

After getting something to eat at hotel, we take a quick power nap as we wake she wants to take care of me again before she heads off to the bar (she's a barmaid not at PianoBar) but in that area. Yes she has 2 jobs not that it matters. Now Sunday seems to be the slowest of the 3 days Fri, Sat again lots of chicas waiting again buyers martket. So around 10:30 there was alittle action several young brown skin guys come walking down the street hats backwards, pants down to their knees white Tshirts, using the N-word like nothing was wrong calling the chicas hey B* comeover here and get some of this American black D. Some of the girls got up and walked away while others did go over to them why not these guys brought their own bottles. Alot of screaming and yelling was going on seems these guys wanted the girls to get naked in the middle of the street and bend over the tables and take it right there, after 45mins of this and several of the older white men getting up and walking away shaking their heads, the young group of guys move on out of my sight. My novia cameover to me and asked is that how we all act once were out of the USA, I just rolled my eyes why me? It was getting late so I decided too head back to the hotel I was drained my legs were hurting as I walked back a motobike pulled up yes it was my novia on the back I jump on the back off we go to hotel shower and hit the rack lights out! Day 3 soon come!

About the 4-1 ratio of chicas I read an article yesterday about the increase of prostitution in Boca Chica. One of the lines of the report says: "the last four or five Expreso Boca Chica buses that moves from the capital to Boca Chica came full of girls ready to offer their sexual services". I want to be on that buses!

A So around 10:30 there was alittle action several young brown skin guys come walking down the street hats backwards, pants down to their knees white Tshirts...When I lived in Bermuda in the 80's the police routinely used to deal with dress code violations by tourists. I think the rule was that shorts could not be more than 6 inches above the knee, and the cops carried tape measures.

"Bermuda has a conservative dress code that applies equally to visitors and locals. Swimsuits, very short shorts and tiny shirts are acceptable only at the beach or by the pool. Bare feet are not acceptable anywhere in public. It is an offense to ride cycles or appear in public without a shirt or wearing a bathing suit top instead of a proper shirt or t-shirt."

"In the evenings wear casual elegant cottons: Women can wear light dressy sweater or wrap and cocktail-type outfits. Recommended dress for men while going for dinner is sports jacket and tie."

Seems like the Tourist Police in the DR ought to publish a dress code: e. G."For evening attire, it is expected that chicas keep both nipples covered and that skirt hems should fall below the pubis. Jeans, if worn, are required to be skin tight. Men's shorts should fall at least six inches above the ankle and no more than 5 centimeters of the butt crack should be exposed. Baseball caps are acceptable as long as the peak is to either side or the back and does not cover the earrings."

Yeah I heard about AA flight reduction out of San Juan, from two different people one is a co-worker (Dominican girl) told me a couple weeks ago. She loves JetBlue free snacks / soda and movies lots of leg room. The other person was someone in San Juan at AA ticket counter, the last weekend in February I was going through there she told me she has 27years with them and with the flight reduction she might lose her job well see?

Well this day turned out to be good and bad. Got up around 8am to go down to get something to eat (free food) yes, as I returned to the room only to find my novia doubled over in pain saying no pussy for you today got my monthly visitor what the f* can we try a little anal (It travel) smack guess not! She offered me a hand job what like that's going to last me for the next 6 weeks no I don't think so, but oh well I'll pass. Around noon we head down stairs to the beach she wants to eat now, as we talk with some of the staff members and the owners, they tell me that all the guys left for the states yesterday. 3 of the guys were from DC and the other 2 were from ATL, the other guy is from NJ he just happens to be walking towards us he comes over to talk, he is married with a house in La Romana he came down here to check on the house leaving his wife in NJ, my novia starts to give him the third degree (in spanish) but turns to me (in english) you'll never come down here alone, she then turns to him and says your house is in La Romana what brings you to BC he says he likes the beach jejejejeje. I decided it was best she leave we gather all her stuff, in the lobby she gets her I'd, but tells the staff worker let me know if he brings anyother chicas into his room. A kiss and hug ok she tells me I'm free to do whatever tonight, but I'll be watching you (that's alittle creepy) you think? I return to the beach bar there is one or two people still at the bar, about 45 mins. Pass the other guy had a room on the beach the door opens I look over and see this fine ass light skin girl walk out she says bye and walks out towards the front to go home. The guy tells me she's from the yellow house up the hill, he had 2 of them but the other girl was not into other women so he let her go the girl that stayed was up for anything cost 2500pesos. We decide to shower and to meet in the lobby (1 hour) to go hangout, more too come.

I spent time there in January with lackluster report but I thought I would weigh in. I parked my rental car at the beach parking lot on West end of Boca chica, I locked my bags in the truck with confidence seeing I had just bought the Pacsafe Backpack and other stuff which for those of you who don't know are like carrying your own Security safe with you. My Pacsafe Fanny Pack is actually locked to me and knife proof which gives me extra piece of mind and by backpack is basically the same and I cable locked to the trunk frame of my rental car. If you don't have some of these products you guys should look into them, they are quite reasonable on Ebay just put Pacsafe into search engine.

Anyway it was just after New Years and I hit Boca Chica on that Holiday weekend on the Sunday. I tried to park my ass in Juan Dolio but couldn't find a Parking spot at the Paraiso Hotel and don't care for the hoodlem touts so went to beach by day and stayed in Santo Domingo at night just off the conde at LaRoma Apart Hotel.

I figured Boca Chica on the weekend would be packed with Santo Domingo chicas and that was the case. I was looking for 8-10s but most were 6s and 7s at the beach. All the girls at the beach were game for anything but I was holding out for the hot ones. I found a couple 8s but still was too snooty to pull the trigger seeing I was heading to Santo Domingo after the beach anyway.

When I finally went to Boca Chica to see what it was like at night I relized I got right in the middle of a darek skinned girl pussy stampede. I like the cinnamin colored girls for what ever reason and quite frankly IO didn't see any worth banging but I saw 2 dark skinned girls that were gorgeous. The first one dissapeared but I managed to nail the 2nd. LOL

Well after taking a shower and packing my things up cause I thought I would be getting back late. My new friend and I meet up in the lobby we decide to go get some pizza pie. As we walk down the street past PianoBar we grab a table in the street not sure of the name of pizza joint (pizza was ok). As we sit and eat many people are passing by some of the sheoshine boys stop and beg for some food / drink I had no say in the matter cause he said he was buying I had 1-2 slices so as he the rest he gave away. I will agree that it does get old and tired all the begging and what not. But as we sat I looked down the street and I see these long smooth light skined legs sitting on a stoll (I hope by now you can tell I like me some light skin women, tall too) we decide to walk down towards her we stop were she's at I stand next to her very nice face but what a great set of tits know wonder she's out front (Bogimaker) if you can go check her (she had a NY tatoo on her lower right leg) out she was out in front of a place with pool tables pin ball machines inside, she looked to be no more then 19yr-21yr old she told us she was down for whatever and a price but she was seeing red down there, I wanted no part of that mess. We head back towards the PianoBar grab a table out in front it was as if we had a sign on us saying come and get it, many girls stopped over. What my problem is I speak no spanish were as my friend can speak it and understand also. Now (Bq Ribs) this is the part that fucked me up chicas at other tables by themselves got up and walked into stores, bars or whatever they just moved inside as if there was a fire drill. The girl sitting next to me grabed my arm and moved closer I looked at her to say getting kind of close ain't you she said police coming let me get close so they think were together, if any girl is alone police will take us away must have I'd at all times. As soon as the police passed by all the chicas comeback out into the streets like nothing was wrong this happen 3-4 throughout the night, Yes this happened in BC, the one time they came through one girl didn't move 3police went over to her and asked for I'd I looked over my shoulder they checked her out and moved on. The night moved on I turned in about 1:30am had to be at airport early for a 7:00am flight to SJU and yes about 2am I got a knock on my door guess who one upset (very) dominica women guess I shouldn't have let that chica get so close jejejeejeje Over all had a good time, but looks like I have to move on seeing no one can hangout in BC hey Jaosousa take it easy baby were all looking to have fun si?

A couple beach pics. Thanks for the report. IMG 4894 and 4686 are beautiful! It's also nice to see that the chicas wear bikinis in Boca (I've never seen chicas in bikinis in Sosua; just the foreigners. But I didn't go to the beach often to begin with). So is it safe to assume that the beach in Boca doesn't have someone trying to sell you something every step of the way like in Sosua (don't know if those guys got ushered away during the crackdown or not)?

Is this really true? Sometimes I don't know if you are telling the truth or practicing new material for your comedy routine. If true save me a seat. LOLYes it is true, I read it on Diario Libre. The report affirms a great increase of sex trade in Boca over the last eight months. Girls are from Haiti and dominicans. Even some girls go there selling candies or working as hairdressers but their ultimate goal is to get clients for sex trade. Politur and Tourism officials are working hard...to collect fees and make a profit from sex trade.

The guy tells me she's from the yellow house up the hill, he had 2 of them but the other girl was not into other women so he let her go the girl that stayed was up for anything cost 2500pesos. We decide to shower and to meet in the lobby (1 hour) to go hangout, more too come. Thanks for the report! Seems like you had a good three day trip and it's nice to hear some more positive reports coming out of Boca.

... hey Jaosousa take it easy baby were all looking to have fun si?Your first time in Santo Domingo over a year ago, I was nice enough to play tour guide. I showed you Hotel Palacio, outside GBP, Club MC and Pink Pony, using my rental car. I drove you to Jaguar Hotel and then drove at night, very fast to the airport, so you would not miss your flight. I never heard from you again.

If all guys decide to visit boca chica and it becomes the number 1 monger spot in the world, will make no difference to me. I have stated my views on boca chica and nothing I have seen or heard lately, has made me change my mind.

Are you serious? No bikinis in Sosua?

There are dudes trying to sell you something on every corner and on the beach in Boca Chica. Yes it is a nuisance but after awhile they realize you don't want to buy anything and they leave you alone or after some practice you learn how to brush them off and keep moving. Ignore them, don't make eye contact, don't say a word, wag the finger, sooner or later they get the message.

To the best of my knowledge there has not been a recent crackdown in Boca. Boca is still the same old sleezy little beach town as Oakie would say.

The bead necklace man, the cigar man, the shrimp guy, the "I don't know what you call it" guy, the lady who wants to braid your hair, the regular massage lady, the inflatable beach toys selling guy, eat at my restaurant salesman, you name it and there is probably someone wanting to sell it. Your first day of arrival is usually the worst. Like I said, once they see you ain't buying they will leave you alone. These saleman are professionals at knowing who to harass into a possible sale.

Oh, and if it is something you want to buy whatever price they say offer half and walk away if they say no. Most cases you will get it for half the first offering price. If the vendor doesn't accept you just try the next vendor.

Generally speaking guys just need to learn how to ignore certain shit in the DR and vendors being one of them.

I took him to casa azul also, casa azul is a little run down looking inside, the big sliding metal gate that fronts the sidewalk closes behind you as you enter the parking area, I think Abr was a little nervous in casa azul (maybe visions of the movie Hostel in his head, LOL). Will someone help me out with what to expect, please? I'll be making my first trip about the first couple weeks of June. I guess I'll start with the south coast. Boca, Chica, San Cristobal, Bani. Then I suppose bus up north. Is it a get hammered all day, every day type of thing, like in Thailand, you think? Or maby just like a couple hours shower in the afternoon? That's going to suck if I'm trying to find my way around a new place and its pouring all day.

Thanks in advance for your info.

Its the sun that's relentless. I kinda like the showers, it cools things down for a bit.

Dominican Summer baseball will be starting the end of May. Only problem the games are at 10:30 in the morning if you can get up and out that early. The easiest stadium to get to would be the one about two blocks west of Costalunga. Google maps shows the location.

Wow, the Zapata brings back memories of my first trips to Boca Chica back in the 90's. It was certainly chica-friendly then though they did promote themselves as a family place. All they really asked then was to be quiet and hopefully you would not bring back any hell raising, noisy chicas. I had no problem with that. In the years since then I heard they cracked down a little harder, girls out by 7AM, etc, etc.

Anyway, I am writing to get an update on the place as it currently stands in terms of being chica-friendly, what are the current house rules, and how is the place in general, etc? I haven't visited BC much in recent years but when I have I have stayed at Costalunga which I certainly like. But staying at the beach this time sounds good and I did like the Zapata back in the day.

Thanks in advance for any input with regard to the place.

The streetwalkers are not in great volumes on avenida independencia between hotel riazor and hotel la casona dorada (4 blocks) , like before. The streetwalkers have moved to other locations in Santo Domingo, including on avenida independencia between the hotel la casona dorada and park independencia, pacos cafe in zona colonial and on el conde in zona colonial. Also streetwalkers can be found on the malecon near princess cabana and on avenida jimenez moya (ave Churchill) near its intersection with the malecon. These locations are 10 minutes or less by car at night from the Jaragua Hotel and casino. Also, usually pros outside the Jaragua Casino and inside the Melia casino and coppa disco in the hotel melia. Streetwalker prices are 1000 pesos and up. Casa prices are usually about 2500 pesos and up for takeout, casa chicas might stay with you from 2 hours to over eight hours. I paid 2500 pesos at one casa in gazcue and the chica stayed with me for over 8 hours and I did not have to worry about any of my valuables with her. Mundo Anuncio and listin diario have pro chicas who advertise.

I PC girl took me to shop to buy a toy. What fun. I had never used a toy in my work. There is nothing like having tools. I will behooking up with her again in 10 days. I am bringing my own toys. I am pulling out all the stops.

She gave a stellar performance with BBBJ. She really went to town when I introduced her to my toys. It seems that of all the women I was with this time, pro or non-pro, they had never experienced vibrators. After that session I though she was going to try to pay ME.

We drifted off to sleep and she woke me at 6am when it was time for her to leave. I gave her the 1000 balance and let her go on her way. I slept until 9, then I went to get a room at the Costa Lunga. Great report I brought a girl one of those rabbit vibrators two years ago it almost replaced me.

The silly side of me wants to know if customs or anyone has found your secret weapon and what was their reaction? Also one of my Sosua girls just moved back to Santo Domingo and since I don't want her to see the hooker side of boca have you tried Juan Dolio as a Santo Domingo getaway? [/QUOTE]

I did 4-5 trips to Santiago and saw very few street walkers. Some streetwalkers that walk around the monument in Santiago at night are transvestites. Certain streets in Santo Domingo also have streetwalker transvestites, so you have to be careful. In santo domingo the trannies are usually not near any tourist areas, so I imagine the majority of their clients are Dominican men.

Boca Chica when I mongered there years ago, majority of the mongers were foreign guys, I imagine it is the same now. The streetwalkers in Santo Domingo their clients will be a mix of Dominican men and foreign guys (some streetwalkers are now not within walking distance of tourist hotels, so a car or taxi is needed to find them, many foreign tourists don't rent cars and may not want to pay for a taxi to find streetwalkers). Most of the streetwalkers that I stopped for never started out with a high price, most of them started with 1200 pesos. If your Spanish is good, you can get a better deal. Boricua Online got a 500 peso BJ recently in Santo Domingo.

The Streetwalkers in zona colonial, santo domingo will mostly be servicing foreign guys and those chicas oftentimes ask for higher prices.

Just about all the casas I have visited in Santo Domingo were never crowded with guys. Some Dominican guys will visit the casas, but overall, the clients seem to be mostly foreign guys.

I have been in Boca Chica day and night and never had a problem but have never walked alone by night, never too drunk, never too flashy.

Another thing I have never done in Boca Chica: I have never stayed outside an all inclusive. I have thought of staying on Zapata a couple of nights on my next trip, I am still not sure. Some people may found this as a dumb idea but it will fit to some people: Stay at Don Juan All Inclusive, which is at the west end of main street, you can get a room for 2 for barely over $100 and you have 20 hours per day of unlimited beer / drinks and food, plus you are in a safer area. Walk to the main street by night and find a chica, take her to Cachela with is a small short term hotel on the main street that cost near $10 for a couple of hours. Before entering Cachela buy a delicious Gelato ice cream from the italian guy at the other side of the street, buy a cone, stick it inside the chica's pussy and lick it until finished.

I think this forum is intended to be a "sex-guide" but many reports are about hotels and airlines and other things not sex. I find that Boca Chica is not all bad and here is a small guide to some good sex there.

I have been vacationing in Boca Chica every year for 13 years now. It used to be for 6 or 8 weeks in the winter but for the last 4 years I have been going for 3 or 4 weeks in the summer as well. I have stayed in various hotels and apartments, some OK, others not so much. In more recent years I have settled on one particular self-catering apartment, conveniently close to the beach.

As you might guess from the fact that I have increased my visiting time, I really enjoy it there and I have never run into any real problems. I had 6, 000 pesos stolen one time and another time, my camera, which I recovered the next day. Not bad going in 13 years. I also had, early on, a couple of screaming matches with street-girls who wanted more than the agreed price which taught me to stay away from street-girls and bar girls, with one exception which I'll mention below.

Seven years ago I was introduced to a girl from Barahona who has been my regular girlfriend ever since. I am not going to say much about her except that she never was one who visited Boca Chica and never had sex for money. In fact she has a regular job in Santo Domingo and when I'm in Boca Chica she stays with me a lot of the time. When she is not there, I have casual sex with 3 or 4 other girls who I have known for a while and have come to trust. Just to illustrate that Boca Chica is not all bad, I will tell you about two of them. The others, I will not mention because they are not in the strictly sex-for-money game. The following two will not mind that I am recommending them since sex-for-money is how they clothe and feed themselves and their children. Both of them are fairly shy and not pushy or aggresive like most chicas you will encounter in Boca Chica.

Jennifer, I met on the beach two years ago. She is tall and lanky and flat chested. She is kind of medium dark and her hair varies in colour depending on what she has been able to afford recently. She has a pleasant face and a gentle disposition and talks in a "little girl" voice. She doesn't like to fuck and, as far as she tells me, only gives blow-jobs which she is always very eager to do. This is not a bad thing because she has one of the most sensual pair of lips I have ever encountered and she loves to deep-throat. As soon as the apartment door is closed, she is impatient for action!

At this point I will say that I am a Spanish speaker and I like to ask a lot of questions of chicas to get to know them. Jennifer says that she really does enjoy sucking cock and the by way she gets turned-on in anticipation of it and the length of time she likes to spend doing it, it is obvious that she does. Her "technique" is to deep-throat with every stroke, sometimes just staying down there with her nose pressed into your belly. Lately she has, with my encouragement, learned to do things with her tongue while she is down there. Asked what kind of cocks excite her most,"muy grande" was her answer. Asked what excites her most about cock-sucking,"Mucha leche en mi boca" (lots of cum in my mouth). She does not like men to be too aggressive, she usually prefers to do it all herself, but sometimes she likes to lie on her back with her head over the edge of the bed and be fucked in the mouth. I have bought her things and taken her for meals but she has never outright asked me for money. She tells me she sucks on average three or four different men in a day and I think that she agrees a price beforehand with them. While I am in Boca Chica she visits me several times a week. She has slept with me quite often and blows me two or three times during the night.

Then there is Cristal who I originally met as a street-girl five years ago in the Parque Independencia. I saw that she was very attractive but poorly dressed like most of the chicas who work from the park. I asked her if she did a good blow-job and she said,"I think so." Most girls would have said,"Yes, the best!" and it would have turned out to be a furious hand-job with the tip of my dick in their mouth! I was intrigued by this one so, for an agreed 700 pesos, I took the chance and I am glad that I did because she gave me the best deep-throat blow-job I have ever had and has continued to do so for the past five years!

Cristal is actually quite stunning. Her skin is pale enough that she has freckles and she too has very sensual lips and a slightly Asian look around her eyes. Her hair is long, black and natural. She is around 162cms (5feet & 4inch) and slim with small breasts. Cristal's "technique" is different to Jennifer's as she doesn't deep-throat the whole time but uses every other possible combination of lip and tongue movement as well and she makes it last (well with me anyhow) for around 45 minutes. She will also do the on-her-back throat-fuck and takes it very well. In fact she says,"No problema, mas dura, mas dura!" (harder, harder!)

Since I have known her she has graduated from the park and now works the discos, no longer shabbily dressed but very sexy and stylish without looking like a street working girl. She averages two or three "clientes" each night and, to dress the way she does, must command a high price (2, 000 pesos I think and 500 more for "leche en la boca"). In the daytime or late on a slow night she will telephone to visit me but still asks no more than she did that first time. Right from our first meeting Cristal has been saying she wants to be my novia (regular girlfriend) and for me give up the one I have. I tried that out for one visit but although I had the "freedom of her mouth" so to speak, she was not much interested in fucking and wasn't all that great as company. Also, because she was no longer entertaining "clientes," she expected more money from me than I was prepared to give to make up for her loss of income. Now, I see her for three or four sessions a week.

From my questions; she doesn't mind cum in the mouth but usually she will only do it for extra money. She is very proud of how well she can deep-throat and likes to pick-up black American tourists because she says they all have huge dicks and she likes to show them what she can do. She also likes two or three men at a time (more money in a shorter time) and one time she had a blow-bang with six young men on vacation in the Hotel Don Juan, which she says was a lot of fun. She also has Dominican amigos who she sucks for no money so, like Jennifer, she too must enjoy doing it.

So, if you happen to run into either Jennifer or Cristal you will know what to expect. They are both very straightforward, trouble free and, in my experience, trustworthy. Although I would never put temptation in the way of any Dominicana.

If you are an American reading this, I hope you can make sense of my English which I learned in Europe.

A couple of minutes ago one of the DR tv channels that we have here in San Juan Puerto Rico presented a special report about Prostitution in Boca Chica.

In summary:

1) There is an increase of haitian prostitution in BC since the earthquake.

A couple of minutes ago one of the DR tv channels that we have here in San Juan Puerto Rico presented a special report about Prostitution in Boca Chica.

In summary:

1) There is an increase of haitian prostitution in BC since the earthquake.

2) A significant % of the girls are younger than 18 so be aware of non cedula chicas.

3) The police is doing nothing against prostitution, in fact, they are profiting from it. A few phrases from the chicas: " they know we have money so they ask for 200 or 500 pesos to leave us alone","I earned 2, 000 pesos tonight and the Politur took it all";"some policemen ask for money, somo just take us to jail for a couple of days". 4) Most of the girls comes from outside Boca Chica. There is huge sex trade on weekend nights.

5) The reporter acted as a client and asked the girl how much for sex, some asked 3, 000 or 3, 500 all nighters but the reporter bargained to 1, 000 or 1, 500 in seconds. Girls are expert in conversion, they know how much, for example 3, 000 pesos are in dollars or euros. Some girls confessed that when they were rookies they engaged in sex for as low as 200 pesos.

6) The US government has issued warnings of economic sanctions against the DR if they do nothing against the haitian sex trade. Expect some action against prostitution in Boca Chica soon. Thanks. I will be in Boca Chica tomorrow and will look out for any youg ones.

Expect some action against prostitution in Boca Chica soon.Prostitution in the DR has been around long before anyone even fathomed the thought of it becoming a "tourist destination." Leave it to the good ole US of A to go poking their noses in other people's shit.

So are they going after prostitution around the entire island? Or just in the tourist spots (rhetorical question)?

If the DR is smart they should thumb their noses at the US like Brazil did and pick up some Mandarin.

The gang war has been on for a couple of years mostly in the San Andres area, which I believe is a couple of miles west of the touristic area with a over 20 deaths. I have been in Boca Chica day and night and never had a problem but have never walked alone by night, never too drunk, never too flashy........You are correct on the location of Andres. The gang wars are NOT going on in the tourist area of Boca Chica. One needs to remember that when leaving the airport anything east of the airport road all the way to the actual little seedy beach town Boca Chica is considered Boca Chica. Ole Supermercado on the autopista is a ten minute drive to Playa Boca Chica but Ole Supermercado is listed as in Boca Chica. Avenida Duarte has tourist police on just about every street corner. Boca Chica as I say time and time again is not for everyone but if you have a little bit of street smarts you will do just fine. Probably the worst part of Boca is everyone seems to want to sell you something or try to hustle some pesos out of your pocket. A simple "no gracias" and keep moving is all it takes.

Now this was a report. I was born and bred in the good old USA. I doubt I could write such an elegant report. Very well done. We should all take notes from you.

If you are an American reading this, I hope you can make sense of my English which I learned in Europe.

so is the us asking the dr to begin an ethnic cleansing of the haitians or else face economic sanctions (#6 in the summary)?

I though these girls were virgins! I am surprised that you did not pick Jennifer who says 4 or 5 men a day. I spend most days on the beach where she "works" from and after she told me that, I observed her going away with a man for half of an hour and then returning to talk to and then go away with another man after a little while. Then the same thing repeated a few more times during the day. Sometimes after a day like that, while I was sitting at a table on Calle Duarte the same evening, I would see her take two or three other men into the Hotel Cachela entrance next to the Supercolmado where chicas take their clientes for 500 pesos for a short time room.

I did not actually count how many but one day, on the day after I had observed her working in the evening as well, I said to her,"You had a busy day yesterday." and I told her what I had observed. She told me it had been nine men. But again that was in high season when the beach and Calle Duarte were very busy. I think she would have earned six or seven thousand pesos. I know she buys marijuana with some of that and she drinks quite a lot with other chicas.

She lives near Juan Dolio with her two children and mother and does not come to the beach every day. Unless another part where I do not see her.

How could anyone guide you to good sex if they had not experienced it for themself? When you said you were offering a guide to Boca Chica, I was looking for something more specific such as the names of the bars or hotels where chicas (pros) hang out, names of (recommended) Casas, what the beach scene is like as far as finding pros, etc.

In short, I was looking for you to post info that would offer alternatives to the two in the photos you posted. No offence, but if those two are the best Boca Chica has to offer then that is not very encouraging.

I described what kind of sex you could expect from the two girls pictured. Whether you like the look of them or not is a moot point.

I cannot advise on "the names of the bars or hotels where chicas (pros) hang out, names of (recommended) Casas, what the beach scene is like as far as finding pros, etc." because it is not my "scene" and I have no idea except that if you are on the beach, they will come to you and you can take your pick.

Sorry, but you will have to ask someone else.

Regards,

MarkThe airport pharmacy is about $4US more expensive per pill for Cialis than what I paid in a local pharmacy in Santo Domingo. Lapela is the generic version of cialis, cost about 50-70 pesos. Cialis at the airport pharmacy I was charged 500 pesos ($13US) per pill, at a pharmacy in Santo Domingo I was charged about 360 pesos (about $9US).

Elevex or something like that is another generic version that is cheaper that the name brand stuff.

MarkLook for Farmacia signs. I swear there are more Farmacia's in Boca Chica than good looking women.

I was in Boca Chica yesterday and bought some La Pela and Elevex. Cost was 50 pesos or about 1. 30 US per dose. La Pela is one 20mg pill Elevex is 2 pills for 20mg. Although I do not yet need the wonders of an ED pill a friend of mine here in the States says he gets good results with La Pela as compared to prescription Cialis.

Jaosousa is correct about prices of real Cialis. Viaraga 100mg was 533 pesos or about 14 US in December. I noticed they also have a generic sildenafil but I do not remember the price.

Hit BC on Sunday nite for the first time in 22 months. Last time I was there toooo many hagglers and low lifes. It was nice to walk thru the central area (closed off) and not be hassled by the street urchins. Saw more Local POLICE this time.

Several nice establishments with a variety of working girls. Ended up stopping at ROUTE 69? I believe and just watched the action go up and down the street. The waitress asked if I wanted to step next door for a session but she didn't appeal to me and I passed.

Its now back on my radar when I return to DR.

Yes my friend we do get a (ISG) member discount, but only if you frequent Boca Chica, Because according to someone only gang fights and gang wars happen in Boca Chica no were else in the Dominican Republic do they have guns or gang fights so you will only need a Kevlar vest in Boca Chica. So when ordering a Kevlar vest tell the sales person you are headed to the bad part of Dominican Republic and they will know you are going to BC that plus you are in (ISG) member that's when the 15% comes into effect!Who said gang fights and gang wars only occur in Boca Post and no Where else in the Dominican Republic? If there is a post on the ISG which states gang fights and gang wars only occur in Boca Chica and no Where else in the Dominican Republic could you please refer me to that post? Thank you.

I grew up in the Bronx, I know what is to be shot at. When I am vacation, I have no desire to be around a multitude of scammers, drug dealers, thieves or knife wielding homeless people.

No where in this world is perfect, but if a person wants to see the worst that the Dominican Republic can offer, it can easily be found at Boca Chica.

Maybe you missed my post in Mr Gogo's thread about the proposed / planned new buildings for Juan Dolio. I have failed to find similar development projects for Boca Chica.

i was in bc last year staying overnight at costalunga because i had a departing flight the next day. i'd been on the north coast for several weeks and i had hooked up with a haitian chica i was very fond of. we came back from pp by bus and she stayed over with me because she had some stuff to pick up in the sd area. this chica was fluent in french, had a legal visa, and was computer literate so she wasn't typical. she was tiny, about 5'1" and 105 lbs. she had never been to bc and i told her it was a lot like sosua which she knew well. she was 25.

i was walking with her on duarte in the early evening after dinner and a left her alone for no more than a couple minutes to do something and when i came back she was basically in a fight with a small pack of boys about 12 yrs old. they had pulled her off the street and this was getting about as much attention as the stray dog packs. there were about 5 of them and i got the impression that if i hadn't come back right then they would have hauled her off into the dark toward the beach and raped her or something. i'm a fairly big guy and i just pulled her over and put my arm around her and and told them no this chica is mine. she was still in full adrenaline mode but i have never had a female cling molded so perfectly to the side of my body. the only upside was i never felt more necessary as an escort. very good white knight sex afterward.

she stayed very close until we got back to the hotel. i'd never seen anything like that in sosua and she lived in charamicos and wasn't aware of anything like that. it made me aware of how vulnerable haitians are in the dr. i don't think haitian girls would even bother to go to the police and it would probably get them deported or raped again then deported if they did.

I used to split my trips between Boca Chica and Santo Domingo up until about two years ago. Whenever I stayed in Boca Costalunga was my choice of hotel. Only thing I didn't like was the walk upstairs to the fourth floor to use the Wi-Fi.

A few years ago not everyone traveled with a laptop. Today that is very different. There have been several times I considered a few nights in Boca Chica but believe it or not the no WI-Fi in the room was the deal breaker. If I knew of any hotel in Boca Chica with in room Wi-Fi they would probably get my business. I have three things a hotel must have for me to stay there, in room Wi-Fi, a frig, and A / C. I fully agree with having internet in the rooms. Sometimes I do have to do work and take a conference call (skype) and no WIFI or slow WIFI is a deal breaker for me.

Now I offload all of my pictures and moves to an SD card and store them separate from both the cameras an computer. Last time she she deleted photos, of all the other chicas except her. I had backups of everything.

My experience is limited but it seems the chicas are very good at operating phones and cameras. Rhetorical question, why are you leaving your values out for the chicas to tamper with? I look up all my sh*t in the safe.

I went to Casa Valeria and while there the owners were giving me all these rules (chicas cannot walk around the hotel unescorted; they cannot hang out on the balcony; they cannot use the pool; etc.). I had doubt in my eyes and the owner said "What's the matter-too many rules?" I responded "yes, this place sounds like boot camp!" His response was "listen, we just had a guy who was staying here and he met a chica. They spent several days together and then went off to Cabarete. The guy calls with the sob story that the chica stole $300 from him, along with his digital camera. The customer was stranded in Cabarete because she he had no more money on him (whatever happened to credit cards!). Can we send him a taxi." The hotel was gracious and did send the taxi.

Security is one of my first concerns when I come into town. I am concerned about not only the chicas but the hotel workers. I make sure that everything is in lockdown and there is nothing that the chica can pick up and throw at me when she gets angry (why do all hotels insist on having these big, heavy glass ashtrays in each room that make great aerial projectiles? Why can't they just buy those cheap plastic ones!)

Costalunga has a very small metal box safe inside the clothes closet mounted on the wall. It is large enough to hold your wallet, passport and a cup of coffee. I never bother to use that key operated safe.

Hi there,

I will come to BC on the 2nd of June from Germany. Usually when I am on Holidays somewhere I draw local Currency from ATMs with my VISA Card. My Money Institute does not charge any fees for that. So I always exchange Money with the actual official Exchange Rate.

So my PLan is to bring some Dollars in Cash for the first hours and to draw Money from the ATM.

Are there some ATMs which accept VISA in BC and do they usually work fine?

My Plan "B" is to bring US Dollars in Cash and to Exchange at the Airport or in BC.

MarkSo far your plan sounds good with the exception of exchanging money at the airport. You will get a very poor exchange rate at the airport. Probably the most used ATM machine would be the bank across the street from the small park. The ATMs in general are pretty reliable although some work better if you choose the spanish menu. The exchange houses on duarte will give you a good rate. Keep in mind the DR ATMs now charge a 112 pesos fee for any card NOT issued by a Dominican bank.

Sundays can be a slow day in Santo Domingo so spending time at la playa boca chica is always a good option. Here are a couple of pics from today's walk along the beach. There are still thousands who find Boca Chica a safe and enjoyable place to be. Today we had the gringa getting merengue lessons at the AI. Actually the gringa was a pretty good dancer.

MarkAll the Dominican Bank ATMs I used my last trip, charged about $5US per transaction, Chase Bank then charged an additional $5US international transaction fee, total cost to withdraw cash per transaction was about $10US. Some Dominican Bank ATMs only allow a max withdrawal of 2000 pesos ($54US) per transaction (Banco Leon). To spend $5US or $10US to only receive $54US is a rip off.

I have withdrawn money using my Visa and Mastercard Bank cards in the DR. I have no experience using bank cards from banks based in Europe, my guess is they should work.

Cheap plastic chairs next to what looks like a colmado, all empty, your kind of place to hang out in DR.

Most guys go to DR to try and see beautiful women. Where are the photos of the multitudes of attractive available women that supposedly can be found at playa boca chica?

As soon as you walk out the glass doors at the airport (SDQ) there are ATM machines to the right. You can get pesos there to get you started. Most of the casa de cambios post the exchange rate on a billboard outside. Today I got 37. 5 per $1 USD.

Exchange rate was about 37. 5 for both banks and if I remember correctly about 32. 5 at the airport.

If you use the Spanish menus at your normal ATM you can learn the words so withdrawals can be easier.

If Boca Chica is such a wonderful, mongering destination as you imply, why is it that you spend very little time in boca chica mongering?

After waiting in line for 20 mins in the Banco Popular, I was then told I had to go to another desk for which I waited another 15 mins. The girl at the desk spent another 20 mins on the phone to some senior authority, interrupted two or three times by friends who had dropped by for a chat. Finally she put the phone down and said,"No touristas!" I had planned a week down that coast but I had to return on the second day while I still had the money to do so.

Always take cash from a bank ATM. Once I got cash at a Texaco station ATM. A few days later money was drawn off my account. It was traced to a hacker in Utah?

Any tips?I spent one night there a little over a year ago. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The rooms are bare bone basic. I think you would have a better time staying at Costalunga, El Candil, Hotel Garant, or Hotel Zapata. At one time or another I have stayed at all four of these hotels and they are much, much better than Mozart.

Just about always gringos will be given a higher price by taxi drivers. It really depends on the gringo. The easiest way to avoid a ripoff is to call a taxi. Somebody should list the phone numbers of Lino, Apollo, Aero, etc. You can even call more than one to compare but that's not usually necessary. A good rule of thumb is anything within the city limits. Especially if you aren't going to cross the river. Should be no more than 200 pesos. That price may shock some because it is not unusual for taxistas to ask for 1, 000 pesos off the street for a 150 peso fare. The taxi you call will show up within no more than 5 minutes because the dispatcher puts out a radio call and the closest waiting taxi will respond. You should ask the dispatcher for the 'tarifa' so you know what to pay in advance. Also, don't be shy about getting somebody you can trust to make the call for you. Watch out for the taxista making a deal with the caller to hike up your fare and split the difference.

Have fun!

You could go local, take a motoconho (motorcycle taxi) to the highway near the airport, about a two minute drive and then wait on the side of the highway for a gua gua (minibus or van). I have read that gua guas pass by the airport terminal, I have no clue with what regularity they pass by the airport terminal.

Several ISG members have used A2B Transfers, comfortable air conditioned vehicles, you can probably book a shared transfer from Las Americas Airport (sdq) to Boca Chica, online at their website: http://www.a2btransfers.com/

Took me right to the hotel and picked me up on time to go back to the airport when I went home. Professional and no issues. When you book with them they will ask your flight information and will monitor it so they are there when you are there. There is a possibility that they might have to wait on other passengers on the day you go so it might be a minor inconvenience but that doesn't bother me when I arrive. Can't remember the exact price I paid but it was about 1/2 of the taxi. I am new to the forum and we would like to ask you a couple questions: First, I am arriving in Santo Domingo on June 23, and this girl I met last time I was there wants to meet and hang with me in Juan Dolio. I do not know anything about this place as I have only hung in Santo Domingo and one day in Boca Chica, but she is very hot! So I have no problem spending a couple of days with her there, but would like to meet you guys in Santo Domingo for the weekend. Do you know any good places to stay in in Juan Dolio and how much would that cost me to go from the airport to Juan Dolio or should I rent a car. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

As an aside, I mostly spend my time when not in New York in a favella in Rio at Rochina where there are some beautiful women as I work with a school there. Also, I have met those who run the favella so safety is not an issue if anyone would like to come and visit me in Brazil.

Thanks again, and really enjoy reading your reports and will write one of my upcoming adventures.

Nice hotel with apartments in Juan Dolio, on the beach. Rates from $40 and up. Some rooms with balconies overlooking the beach. Bars, restaurants and a colmado are located within a few blocks. The rooms I used there had small kitchens (stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, plates, glasses and flatware).

A2B has shared transfers, from SDQ airport to many places, probably to Juan Dolio; http://www.a2btransfers.com/

You can probably book a transfer online with them.

Car rentals, I always use Alamo and book online and use a coupon code from BJs Travel website.

Juan Dolio is about 10-15 minutes east of Boca Chica. The highway after boca chica is in good shape and very few other vehicles.

If you want a fancier place, Hilton Embassy Suites in Juan Dolio is nice, but not on the beach. Costa Caribe all inclusive hotel in Juan Dolio, is ok, rates around $100. Barcelo Capella in Juan Dolio is another all inclusive in Juan Dolio, I will be there next week. When you check in with a chica, no problem staying at an all inclusive, as long as the chica checks in with you. If you book through Orbitz, use promo code, DEALPRO10, to save 10% on the cost of the room.

There are also other apartment rentals in Juan Dolio.

You are invited to the party I will have in Santo Domingo in about a week.

Send me a PM with your contact info and I will send you more info.

I don't know about that. In April when I was in DR last one of my non-pros went to the airport in Santiago with me because I didn't know the way. I gave her money for lunch and to take a taxi because she had to hurry and get to work. Afterwards, she told me that the taxi ended up being 800 pesos.I was talking about BOCA CHICA I never been to santiago.

Cachela in the main street, barely over $10.I'd be interested in more info too. What's next to it. N or S side of Duarte? Hole in the wall or halfway decent? Often wondered why nobody built a high end style cabana for walk-in traffic in BC or Sosua. I suppose the cabana biz has it's own logic and requires a private garage for anonymity so the tourista market just isn't a good fit to the normal practice.

I've done short stay (2-3 hours) sessions there with chicas that I didn't feel comfortable enough with to bring back to my hotel. It's not the nicest place in the world, but it's relatively clean and they have A / C. It's cheap and it serves its purpose.

The hotel looks great. Is it girl friendly? Also how far is the strip (I am guessing there is a strip in BOCA CHICA just like in Sosua?) from this hotel?

It is easy to find since it has spray painted the word 'Cachela, ' in red, near the entrance. The writing is on the wall (literally)! The only problem is that people can see you take someone up Cachela. It is on Duarte so someone is looking at you as you bring up a chica.

I recall picking up a chica at the end of Duarte, at the barrier, before passing into the park. Later, another chica who was in the middle of the block said that she saw me walking with a chica towards the beach (make a left after the barrier, before reaching the park and you reach restaurant Galataria). If it happens on Duarte someone is looking!

Not just duarte there always watching in the D R always.I guess that some of the cabanas are more discreet than Cachela but you are correct, Dondi. One time an incident happened to me while I was staying at New Garden in the North, and a security, from a different hotel, came out of nowhere to assist me with some problems I was having with the Politur. I was totally unaware that he was watching me come down the street, late at night, every night, for an entire week.

When walking the beach at night (which one should never really do) , in Boca Chica, you have anywhere from Sankys eyeing you, to security, to drug addicts, and some chicas.

One time I was walking through a neighborhood in Boca Chica and the next day the cleaning lady at the hotel I was staying at was talking with someone about me being in that neighborhood (despite the fact that I do not recall ever seeing her in my walks!).

Last time I was there (April) there were several (10 or more) women that propositioned me on Duarte as I walked up / down the street in the evening. While sitting in the Boat House several asked if I was interested. Since I am far from good looking, a normal person should be able to find some action without going to one of the casas. There were a couple of decent looking women at the Pink House of which I did not partake but they were asking for 1000 during the daytime. One of the casas would be a good option if you do not have a place to take a woman. I spent a couple of weeks in Boca Chica a couple of years ago and there were always women playing the slots at the Hamaca casino. I was with a girl at the time but for sure they were P4P.

Don't even think about it! (Stay home and rent a movie) This is the worst place I've even been in relative to the price and I've stayed in dirt huts in remote villages in Africa. My standards are not very high, especially since I am from Dominican Republic and have stayed in several different hotels in the area. However I can't say not one descent thing about this hotel. I'm currently at the hotel writing this review and looking for another hotel. I'm canceling the remainder of my reservation today! Never again.

From four weeks in Boca Chica. Nothing has changed very much. Same chicas parading up and down Calle Duarte. Apart from my regular novia who spends every night with me, Haitiana Yenni (Jenny) is still giving long, deep-throat sessions ("Quiero su leche en mi boca.") for 1, 000 pesos and little Helen with the magnificent breasts will blow you for 500. Leche in her mouth or anywhere else you care to shoot it. I know she fucks too but I reserve that for my regular girl.

I do not know about the other smaller hotels as far as pools. The answer is no. You are really best off booking a room for the first night at least at Costambar or El Candil (by far the most recommended hotels) and walking around town to get the idea of the place on your own. If you find some place you like better, move. It's a small town you can easily appreciate in a few hours of walking around. If it's on the beach and has a pool it's an AI and by definition not chica friendly. Even AI's are quite friendly to any chica you register with, just not a stream of "vistors".

They have a gated area with lounge chairs that is very close to the water as well and non guests are not allowed past those gates without an invitation and permission.

The safe is small and would not fit a computer, the owner (don't remember his name) would probably look after it if you wanted. When I was there the waiters (both named Mckenzie) were great. They also have a handy man named Jose, he can show you around town and keep you safe. (he's not like the other hustlers, straight up honest guy).

Ok guys,

So I have never been to Boca Chica or the Dominican republic until I arrived with my wingman on the 3rd. I looked around and found prices at 1500 Road +. I had some references to a club that told me 150USD, it just pissed me off so I left Boca Chica and went to a place a bit west of Santo Domingo (less tourist) named Costa Azul. We got an apartment and I have had a great experience as of yet. So far 3 GFE's and the wingman is nailing a 500 peso chica as we speak. I think the thing here is this. If you are a wealthy old man, bestto pay the high dollar chicas and be safe. If you are young and have a wingman. If you are willing to put up with an area that is a bit less safe than a secured compound, then get the hell away from the tourist and get free or almost free chicas. I don't claim to be an expert on this but I have been around. The amount of post here does not equate to a person who knows. Sometimes it is the opposite. Although, I am somewhat young (30's) I think that for someone with less retirement income and more hard earned money, the way to go would be to avoid the tourist. The one girl I did spend time with in boca chica was hot but I spent alot of time looking and it was a pain in the ass. Where I am now, I could find any chica for 1500 easy. Depends on who is looking I guess. Of course, I pay more attention to security and I always bring a local with me bar hopping.

Sounds great. Never seen posts about that area before. Are the chicas in the area or do you have to go further into SD to find them? On Google Earth there doesn't appear to be a beach, though it has a nice pool.Yeah, the pool is very nice. We are renting the apartment (2 bedroom) from an italian dude we found online, about 300 USD a week. Air con, TVs in both rooms, full kitchen. Overlooking the ocean but no beach. The area is a bit rough but we are doing fine. Taxis are about 300-400 pesos anywhere in the city. Motoconchos are 20-50 pesos locally. There is a market close. We found two sisters in a local dicotec and when we inquired as to the price. I was told "no soy una prostituta" Sweet. One is washing our clothes, the other is cooking up some food. Yesterday we visted an orphange to give back a little and they were a great help getting us there. By the way, dominica orphanage could use some help if any of you guys are in the area, www.dominicaorphanage.com (close to the airport, search google). (close to the airport, search google). I tried to upload some photos but the file sizes are too large, I'll work on it later.Thaks for the link to this orphanage. I contacted the woman here in the States to see what we could help with since we were heading down later this month. It turns out she has about 6 suitcases filled with clothes to be delivered to the orphanage. I am hoping to take some of them down when I go. I was planning to carry on my small bag and bypass the check in lines, but this trumps that!

Posted these a few days ago as an afterthought in my post in "travel announcements." It has since occurred to me that I'm more likely to get a response in the BC thread.

One question and one request.

QUESTION. What's a fair price for ride from SDQ to BC these days, assuming I just walk to the curb and get a taxi?

REQUEST. If anyone has contact info (I prefer email to phone) for a driver so I can pre-arrange pick-up, please send me a PM. I know there used to be a couple of expat guys (Ronnie and / or Ray, I think) who used to do it for people they know. Probably just to pick up a bit of gas money.

Yes they do. I am booked in there from Sept. 26 throught the 30th. I have asked about that and Roberto has replied by email that they do. If a chica spends the night, there is a $10. 00US charge as they would be considered an additional person in the room that night. Is that hotel very close to a beach? Does it have a safe for passport and things? I am new at this and trying to meet a girl in boca chica but I want to have my hotel situation set up when I get there. It would be nice to meet up and get some intel from you.

Yes, Zapata is right on the beach. There are two buildings. They have safes in all the rooms. Are you "trying" to meet a girl, as in one is coming to meet you or are you "hoping" to meet a girl. If you're "hoping" you'll be plesantly surprised. .

Pm me and we can talk about hooking up.

Have a safe trip down!

Back to Boca next weekend for some R&R and mongering. Staying at the Dominican Bay Resort, as it's all inclusive and has a nice pool. Has anyone tried to smuggle one of the local chicas into the DB? They have those bracelets for the registered guests, and I'm wondering if it is possible at all to get one of the locals in.

Hi Gents,

Going on my first trip to Boca Chica. Been reading the blogs but never hear any reports about Don Juan Beach Resort. That is my destination. I got a nice room in the Catains Club. Does anyone know about this place. Also I am going solo (no wing man) so if anyone is out there on Oct 13 to 16th, let me know. I was thinking I might hang around the Hamaca Casino for chicas, seems there might be of higher quality. Any one have quick tips for a first timer?

I stayed there a few months ago. Lots of security. Good thing is place is very inexpensive. I am sure you could get a a great price to let your play thing in. [

I have had a fantastic taxi driver for several years named Rey. All you need to do is tell this guy what type of chica you want, and he will earnestly go into overdrive to find a chica for you. He is a bit expensive, but very very honest (a rare find in DR taxi drivers). His small van is pretty upscale, and you can actually use it in a pinch to have sex.

He lives in Boca Chica, but I have mostly used him in Sto Domingo. When I have gone out to a restaurant, and like the waitress, he always gets me the girls number and (more importantly) a real assessment of my chances of fucking her. Or, when I see a girl I like that seems to have time on her hands, he asks her politely if she wants to spend some time with me. I have screwed almost everyone of these girls. He knows the best cabanas I have had in the DR.

Rey simply knows the scene in the DR. He says that 60% of the women will sleep with a foreigner if asked just because they need the cash, and I think his estimate is about correct. Of course, if you are willing to go long term with a chica, your odds are a lot greater.

Rey can be reached at: reytaxi@h**mail. Com

His phone is: (809) 815-7933; (809) 549-0364.

I do not know if Rey speaks English (he says he does, but I have never tested him), but I am certain he speaks enough to find you all the pussy you could ever desire. His instincts are amazing.

I give him 5 stars.

Thanks for the info. I will see what a $20 can get me past the security. If not- lesson learned. I will find a casa somewhere for a night. Either way I will write in when I get back, good or bad.

Does anyone know if the duty free store is before or after you get a torist card?It is before you get the tourist card, before immigration and customs. As the previous poster, noted you can get better deals at a supermarket. Unless of course you are buying premium liquor not normally found in DR stores

Thanks for the info on Rey. There aren't many posts about drivers. What's your experience with cost? Did you ever hire him on an all day basis plus gas? Does he do airport pick-ups? BC is almost a cell lot distance for SDO.

I know in Costa Rica, a liter of Absolut cost only $12, at the duty free store.

BC is almost a cell lot distance for SDO.I have hired Rey many times on an all day basis. He always adds up the trips to come to his price. He does not charge for waiting around. Sometimes, when he knows I will be a while, he wanders off and may even do a job.

When I compare his prices with regular cab drivers, they are a bit more expensive (about 15% more) , but I have such good fun with him that it is worth it. He really is great at helping to pick up regular girls.

The best way to get to know his prices is to ask him. He is very honest, and will tell you directly.

nice info might call him when i arrive. got a question though. if both of you guys speak spanish then why do you need him to pick up girls for you?did i say i needed him to pick up girls for me? in fact, that is never his role, although he is certainly capable of finding p4p anytime / anywhere, or even picking up a semi-pro if that is what one wants. i am into non-pros, and its hard for anyone to pick up a non-pro by proxy.

what he is especially good at is approaching regular girls and promoting my cause. remember, i am always a gringo in the dr, and not all girls, even those who are interested in sex, are willing to just jump in the sack with me on the first interaction (especially if they are non pros). alternatively, he is very helpful for just assessing the situation. he lets me know when the situation is hopeless and even more commonly, lets me know when despite all appearances, i am doing well.

indeed, there are lots of girls who are more approachable than one would think, and he has a dominican sense of their availability. for example, on my last trip, we went down to boca chica from the airport, as i was in a rush for some release. it was about 2 pm, and we took a walk on the beach. the obvious p4p girls were there, but none were terribly appealing. there were three sisters innocently playing in the water, and he gave them a shout and invited them to have a beer with me. i never would have done this in a million years, as they looked like they were uninterested in a little business. i had a blast drinking beer with the girls, although the real fun was to come a bit later since sister three was **** and had to go home before we could proceed in some fun on the following day. a few minutes after we dropped the trio off, he found me a cutey on a moto taxi who (for 1000 pesos) did a quickie that totally made my day. my radar for p4p is pretty good, but his is much better.

on the way home from the same trip (2 days and 7 girls later) , he found me a really nice girl at 10:00 am in the morning on the way to the airport. we shook out every casa, nook and cranny before he found me a 20 year old willing to bbbjcim before i left the country for the usa. the guy knows the place, he will find you girls where you did not know they exist, he will promote your cause in the face of skepticism, etc. in all honesty, if you have time, you really do not need such help, as women in the dr are as easy to convince to have sex as any women in the world.

did i mention that he is honest? those of us who have been to the dr know that honesty in a dr cab driver is rare. in any case, if you use him, let us know how things turned out. by all means, don't use rey if all you want to do is go to the casas in sto domingo. but if you want a guy to help you hunt, rey is your man.

I know in Costa Rica, a liter of Absolut cost only $12, at the duty free store.1 liter bottle of Baileys at the airport duty free is about $20US. DR chicas usually like Baileys. My last trip I bought a bottle of Belvedere vodka at the duty free shop at the airport in santo domingo (arrival) , while I was waiting for my luggage at the baggage carousal (duty free shop is adjacent to the baggage carousal). That duty free shop has a good selection of alcohol, as well as cigarettes. I forget what I paid for the Belvedere vodka.

Alcohol prices vary in Santo Domingo. I knew a guy who paid 650 pesos for a 750ml bottle of baileys from a liquor store in Santo Domingo, around that same time I paid about 500 pesos for a 750ml bottle of Baileys at the La Cadena supermarket when they had a sale. Prices at colmados will be higher. In the DR supermarkets sell wine and bottles of liquor.

I have not been to Boca Chica in years, so I don't know if they have a large supermarket with good prices (large supermarkets have the prices clearly displayed). I have been told that small grocery stores (colmados) sometimes jack up the price for foreigners (prices are usually never displayed in a Colmado).

If you are not carrying too much luggage, might be best to buy some liquor at the airport duty free (where the prices are clearly marked).

My girl likes Baileys, wine and sometimes Negro. I'm looking for a 3 some with her this time and I want her good and loose.

What place in Boca Chica that would be recommendable (up to $75. 00 / night) Chica friendly with good staff, so far from my reading I have one place in mind that would be Hotel Zapata, but I didn't read anything that would indicate that the place is Chica friendly? If not any recommendations are welcome.

A couple of years ago Zapata was not exactly recommended, especially not as chicafriendly.

Europa is just around the corner from the beach and action and is chicafriendly charge 10 box for a guest. If you look in Tripadvisor waters are divided between enthousiatic (typically single mongers) and very critical (family people find it a little seedy) A little further away Garant (that by the way should have a canadian owner, not quite sure) Candil and Costalunga.

I was in Boca Chica last week and stayed at the Costalunga. Rooms are not bad but if I get any fatter I will not be able to fit in the showers. Me and my wingman picked up a couple of chicas at the Boat House and took them back no problem.

It is ok if you bring in a girl at night, stay in the room quiet, and have her out 1st thing in the morning. Girls not allowed in the restaurant or to sit out on the chairs or to be seen in daylight. Owner wants them out in the morning before breakfast starts. If they didn't need the cash, the Zapata wouldn't take sex tourist business at all. Too many rules here. Shouldn't be what a fun vacation is about.

So, always go for a 3-holer.True. I had to break off the third prong (safety, grounding prong) on my laptop power chord during one trip. The hotel that trip only had electrical receptacles that only had two holes each. You can buy a cheap plug that converts three prongs to two. An extension chord with extra receptacles can be useful.

Does anyone know if theres are a lot of advailable chicas walking the beach in the day vs walking the strip in town? They tend to stay out of the sun, so that it does not make their skin go dark and they don't usually get out of bed before midday. However if you are walking around town and make eye contact and smile at any likely prospects, you never know what you will find.
