To take her out she asked for $200 US.... I told her $140 since I know the club takes their cut from the girls. I guess my hard Di_k made it as so I couldn't distinguishes whether my actions were right or wrong at the time. It's my money and my vacation.

I certainly respect that it is your money and your vacation, & you had time constraints. Once you learn a little Spanish you can fuck carwash chicas for 1/4 of those numbers you listed. If I wanted to bang $200 chicas, I would do so right in my backyard.

Yea I know Buscemi, but when a monger goes to these types of clubs...Pasion in Santiago and Crystals in POP or La Passions in Sosua.......you will not get the girls out for nothing less. Remember the clubs have to get there cut and the girls get the rest. I was only in town for a night before heading back to Sosua to pay my 1500 to 2000 peso.

For $140 she did everything including anal, which was a shock to me. Almost felt like I was in Brazil with that rate.

Good Mongering

Can you suggest a good chica friendly hotel in Santiago not more than 40$ a day?

Thank you

Guys, I am Canadian.

Paying a Dominican p*uta that kind of money ( 160) is robbery.

In Canada cities ( not Toronto or Calgary) you can EASILY get a good-looking girl for that price.

Remember : if American gringos don't dish out that kind of money they won't pocket it from a Dominican guy.

how about a 2-day strike from all American gringos for just ONE week-end and you WILL see the prices falling down like mangos from a Dominican mango tree.

You guys can SPOIL the game for all or teach a lesson or two to these Dominican p*tas.

Remember, a Dominican hotel receptionist earns less than that for a week's wages.

I agree. But there are plenty of guys in DR who are mongering who probably never read this board. I have in the past over paid, sometimes the little head does the decision making. It happens, impulse buying and overpaying. Mix in alcohol, lack of sleep, foreign country with a foreign language and horniness,
and over paying will sometimes occur.

I try not to overpay, I can understand when a guy may overpay.

Alberto's Suites does NOT have a sign on the outside but it does have a red wine small awning on the outside, the only indication of a hotel or suites.

A black metal door gets electrically opened by the receptionist and you get to push a second glass door to go registering with the receptionist.

You then go up some stairs for the second or third floor.

You need to bring your own plates, cutlery and kitchenware if you want to use the kitchen available in every suite.

It is clean, with air-conditioning and fan in your bedroom and a double bed. Cable TV is also included.

It does not provide Wi-Fi internet access but go to a small cafe-restaurant opposite the Liceo Onesimo on the same street and you get free internet acces for ordering some food and or drink.

The price quoted a few days ago by the manager was 1 300 pesos dominicanos per night. It is negotiable if you are going to stay for long period as I understand some clients of the hotel spend weeks or months.

If you are looking for night spots when in Santiago, I recommend going to AHI BAR about 5 minutes'walking distance from Alberto's suites or the Independence Monument in Santiago.

AHI bar is an open air bar restaurant where office workers and good middle class Dominicans go for a Presidente beer or to order some food. Large screens TV provide entertainment such as music video and sports such as basketball.

Chicks come in groups of twos or fives from 8 pm to midnite to enjoy themselves and eventually meet boys.

The food is decent and not too expensive such as 125 for a glass of red wine or 120 pesos dominicanos for a vegetable soup of brocolis and carrots with a basket of sliced french breads included.

Other bars can be spotted around from live bands to recorded music on Fridays and Saturdays. Thursdays are quiet as Dominicanos do not seem to go out on that day.

Being new to the scene in RD , I would welcome any explanation of food and bar bills .

Adding Itbs at 15% and Ley at 10% really increases your food or bar bill by 26% or more than a quarter of the food or drink price listed on the menu.

Is there ANY way to avoid ONE of these taxes as it really adds up to your final bill ?

I visited on a Sunday evening (about 11 p. M) a place called BARAJANDO BAR DE LA BRASA in the area of the Independence Monument.

I was pleasantly surprised to find live and recorded music with good availability of chicas, sometimes 2 gals with a guy or tables of 2s or 3s chicas looking for some male dancing partners and friendship.

I was even approached by the mother of 2 chicas who proceeded to ask me for my phone number. Others were smiling or looking in my direction.

But after a night before sexual session, I knew I had no energy that night to provide.

Guys, go check the place!

A place to go and meet non-pros is a restaurant-bar called CACE SALUD on Calle El Sol, corner of Daniel Espinal.

It is a long and large terrace that can accommodate 200 people ; plastic chairs and metal tables with about 12 TV screens on mainly sports .

Many couples and groups of girls come to be seen and to see ; from 18 to about 35 years old , tight jean pants, high heels and ready to smile back at you if you indicate some interest.

I ordered a small Mediterranean salad : 290 pesos or 8 American dollars ; really expensive in Santiago. Add the taxes , it comes to 363 pesos or more than 10 U.S. dollars.

To be frank, the salad was not worth the price but you get to see and admire a number of Dominican beauties all ready at a sign to join you at your table or join them.

It's in the area of the Independence Monument.

A few Santiago chicas told me told me you can get a dinner of rice, beans and chicken for 80-100 pesos. Prices at places near the Monument are always higher. I will ask my Santiago friends for the locations of low cost eating places.

Good posts, after reading your posts, I now have more places I want to visit in Santiago. Thanks.

On calle de sol, I know Francifol bar and Tette Bar. Tette Bar is a nice high end type of place, up calle de sol from Ave. Juan Pablo Durte on the right side of calle de sol, about two blocks from the monument. Francifol is at the other end of calle de sol, further away from the monument.

I was told a place called Jardines is nice in Santiago, I am not sure of its location but I will find out.

Well, I did go on a Saturday evening at 10:30 p.m. to check Francifol bar .

Four or five waiters were out on the sidewalk leading to the bar. The place was dark inside, no light, no TV, no music.
One waiter informed me to come back a little while later to meet sexy Dominicanas.

I waited patiently at the park nearby for half an hour and returned to find Dominican couples getting out of their cars to get in like me and would leave immediately on discovering like me there was NOBODY in.

I have to say the place looked plush and comfortable but for some reason the managers and the waiters did not decide to light up the place, put on some exciting video music.

I would not recommend the place for lack of patrons that particular night.

On calle de sol, I know Francifol bar and Tette Bar.

Jaosousa,

This Aybar sounds like the AHI-BAR I reported on a few posts below.

AHI-BAR is in the area around the Independence Monument and does carry food and drinks at reasonable prices 100 - 150 pesos; I am glad to report the service is fine, the clients a sympathetic crowd.

Chicas seem to come alone and visit the place any weeknight.

The night I went to Francifol, the place was packed, lots of expensive cars parked outside. I had no room to move inside Francifol. There weren't any single chicas there that night, the chicas were all partnered up, I had one beer and exited.

I have had pizza at a place on Ave. Juan Pablo Duarte, about 3 blocks north of calle de sol, cross street could be Independencia (about two blocks below the monument). Pizza was ok, the price was reasonable.

Ahi-Bar is listed on the google map for Santiago, It is on Calle R. Tolentino and calle restauracion, one block off the monument, around the corner from Montezuma bar. Calle R. Tolentino has several bars, one Saturday night a bar on Calle R. Tolentino had a bunch of people outside, almost blocking the roadway. There is some kind of bar 20 feet from Montezuma Bar, that has pictures of sexy women on the outside it is on calle beller. I have never been inside that place, not sure what goes on inside there.

Hi all, appreciate the reports. Jaosousa seems to list a lot of bars and some strip clubs. Is there a short list of just strip clubs in the area? I also will be as Gran Almirante as mentioned by another poster but prefer to "eat out", not take home.

I would love to find a selection of strip clubs from "anything goes", up to more classy that I can tour through on my upcoming visit.

My off hours I will definitely hit some of those open air restaurant bars for possible non pro chats.

thanks again

Montezuma Bar & Grill provides LIVE music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The place is classy, on 2 floors with good service.

An idea of the prices : a glass of red wine will set you back by 96 pesos plus taxes; I recommend their " croquetas de pollo " or 6 pieces for 95 pesos served with a thick sauce for dipping.

Location : Bellerw, Area Monumental ( by the Independence Monument)

Yes, there is a stripper club on the opposite side of the street called Obsession, apparently with nude male & female dancers. I passed it by , looked briefly inside and saw some tall fake blond chica but did not stop.

thanks againPassions, Casa Blanca and Ilusions are the three places that I know of in Santiago, I have not been to any of them. Passions is on the main highway when coming from to Santo Domingo or heading to Santo Domingo from Santiago. I have read that Passions is located next to Cabana Zeus (not a very glamorous cabana located near some electric power lines).

Casa Blanca and Ilusiones are located on the same road, it is a road that heads toward Moca. It is a road off of Ave Estrella Sadhalla, I am fairly certain it is the road where there is a Texaco station (the texaco station sits on the corner of Estrella Sadhalla and Ave. 27 de Febrero), go east on Avenida 27 de Febrero. I am fairly certain Casa Blanca and Ilusions are on this road going east after the Texaco station.

Boricua Online has pinned the location of Passions on his sdq google map, just scroll up to Santiago using this link:

The place around the corner from Montezuma Bar, I don't know what goes on in there, I saw posters of sexy women on the walls of that place. Some bars only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Compared to Santo Domingo, Santiago has much less open and available p4p action.

Monte Bar gets a variety of people. I saw a 65 year old Dominican guy dancing romantically with some 20 year old chica in Monte Bar.

Occasionally I have seen chicas hanging out in Montezuma Bar early around 5-6 pm.

Thanks for the info. I showed the name and address to the taxi and he took me right there. Loaded and boring as nobody was doing an thing. I realize they get started late. Eventually lots of chuncky and some very nice looking girls were there and eventually dancing.

Took me forever to figure it out but here is the deal. You can bar fine them and leave or use the rooms they have in the back. Pay 500 peso for the bar. Then they use that to pay the room. 2000 for the girl (she asked for 3,000 then 2,500.) I also bought her drinks during this whole process. Depending who takes your order, beer can be 150-225. Overall the rooms are decent with a shower.

Hope to try another place tomorrow.

The hermanos place is the name of the car wash? Will a taxi know what I am talking about if I ask to go there?Yes. When I am searching for pay for play places with chicas, I ask, donde es un casa con chicas (or casa de citas, House of Dates or appointments). All taxi drivers in DR understand that. I have stopped and asked guys in the street that same thing and 100% of time they tried to give me directions to a pay for play chica place. Car wash is called a Car Wash in DR. A car wash in DR is usually also a bar. On the weekends many dominicans with their families go to a Car Wash to drink beer and usually watch live entertainment (many a car wash will have live music). I have read posts where guys pick up p4p chicas at the Car Wash. In Santiago it is worth a try to check out the Car Wash that the other member named.

I have read good things about passions, I have read it gets good later in the night. It is on a main highway, so I wouldn't be worried about visiting that place. Pasion is about ten minutes or less from the monument.

I went to Passions last summer and a full nude strip show begun by 1 am, some of the hottest girls I ever seen. There are also girls walking around offering their services. I was with a chica that day so I did not sample, beers are expensive, almost 300 pesos for a large one, but ice cold. No cover charges. It is a large place where people also dance with their couples.

So I walked toward the texaco and it was late and closed. I walked another block and saw a regular car wash. Also closed and nobody there. I walked up the street toward the al materno infantile, the infant hospital.

Across the street I saw 2 girls sitting at the Sandra fast food stand. One waved to I walked over and sat. Long chat later one can speak English and helped me hook up with the other. The one who speaks English actually works at the stand. I bought a beer for the girl then agreed on a massage.

We went in a taxi called Hony Taxi (missing the r) number 202. He drove us about 6-8 minutes up past Pegasus hotel to a place that looks like apartments.

Drove in the complex directly to a garage. Went in, ,into a hotel looking room and locked the door. Then someone calls the room and takes a drink order. She asked me if its ok and she ordered a beer and cigarettes. The bill was 549. I guess that is why the room was "free".

The massage lasted about 5 minutes before she asked me to turn over and she made it clear what she really wants to do. We did and I think i overpaid. I paid strip club prices... 2,000. I am afraid I might be screwing prices up. I think it should have been half.

Her attitude was great. The taxi came and drove us back. 150 each way in the taxi.

When you visit Pasions, you will pass by 6-7 cabanas, bright lights and big signs for the cabanas (also called aparta hotels). The way the cabana works is that you drive into the entrance of the cabana complex, you will see many garage doors, some will be open and some will be closed. If you are driving your own car, you pull into an open garage opening, exit your car, push the button on the inside wall of the garage opening to close the garage door, from there you enter the room. The phone will ring and the person will ask if you want something to eat or drink. After about 5 minutes you will hear a tapping on a small metal door in the wall. You open that small door and your drinks will be there along with the bill usually in a black folding thing. You put you money inside the opening of the small door and wait for change. I usually tip them 10-20 pesos. They don't see you and you don't see them.

I saw a sign for Ethos (or Ethics) Cabana in santiago for 99 pesos, less than 3 dollars for a 4 hour room rental. Bora Bora Cabana executive room was the nicest room I used in the cabanas in santiago, price was around 800 pesos.

The 549 pesos you paid was a good price, a regular size pack of cigarettes is about 100 pesos (they also sell those mini packets of cigarettes), a large presidente around 75 pesos. Appears the price for the room you used was around 375 pesos, good price. Did the room have a sex chair?

Nice place, lots of comfy outdoor seats and some stunning girls, and a lot of normal ones.

Was quoted 3,000 which is more than Ilusion so I passed.

Ended up back at the roadside cafe place and made a "date" for today. Today the date shooed up at my place, full on shower and FS fun til I had to leave for an unrelated engagement. She asked me for beer money and that is it. I pulled a small roll of 100's from my pocket and gave them to her. She seemed satisfied.

Moma is a nice place. Lots of stunners show up and seem to be fishing for proper dates. I was there with a gaggle of other girls so I couldn't hit on anyone. Should work out if you go there and have some game. Definitely non pro action there.

Wednesday is ladies night. I would try that because girls get some sort of free drinks. Get them drunk and try your luck. Unfortunately I won't be here wed so I can't. Good luck.

If all else fails, walk down the street to the roadside cafe mentioned before (it's like a block away on the opposite side across from the infant hospital) and ask the heavy set black girl with a sweet face if she has friends who can offer massage. She will call someone and take you to a cabana. Don't tell her someone told you, just tell her you did it before. (be discreet incase her boss is there)

Have fun.

I agree, it is a nice place. Not too crowded, if you smoke cigarettes, they have an outdoor part with tables and chairs where you can smoke. Lots of free parking in the parking lot in front of the shopping mall which is part of the same building.

You are really doing your thing in Santiago which is a city that needs to be explore more. How many days do you have left on your trip?

Please try Passion Night Club since I want to know how is the line up. If you go on Monday is kind of tough because they have a live band every monday so it becomes regular night club / f@#$ house. Every other day just f@#$ house.

Good luck

It's about 120 pesos if I remember correctly and you can catch the bus downtown in Santiago. Just ask anyone when you get in the city, just say...¿dónde está la estación de autobuses? it's not far from the casino.

Where do you catch the bus from.I have Boricua Online's google sdq map saved as a favorite in my browser and I use that map. I have done a few screen captures from the google map of Santiago showing the locations of Caribe Tours and Metro Bus stations. Metro bus will put you into in the El Batey section of Sosua (better). Caribe Tours will let you off in the Charamicos section of Sosua.

Appears Caribe tours has two locations in Santiago, I will have to ask some Santiago chicas if both of those locations pick up and let off passengers. The second caribe tours location is just north of the Metro Bus station, but I don't know if that is a passenger terminal for Caribe Tours.

If you look at the google map for Santiago you can zoom in and out and see the names of the roads much clearer. When resizing the screen captures to post here, the images are very small.

MT=Metro Bus Station (one block off of ave salvador estrella sadhalla, avenida Maimon, between Ave. Juan Pablo Duarte and Ave. 27 de Febrero)

CT= Caribe Tours (one location is in the northwest part of Santiago, Ave. Las Americas off of Ave. 27 de Febrero)

MN=Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration (big white monument, landmark in Santiago).

Appears from the google map that Caribe Tours has a location on avenida Maimon just north of the Metro Bus station, but I am not sure if that location is a passenger station.

Caribe Tours does indeed have two stops in Santiago. One stop is a normal stop and the other is a rest stop. The rest stop has a place to buy food and bathrooms. The rest stop is about 20 minutes.

The price is $RD 130 and the bus leaves from the Los Jardines stop every hour on the hour from 6am to 7pm.

http://www.caribetours.com.do/The updated caribe tours webpage gives the ticket prices: http://www.caribetours.com.do/viajes

According to their updated webpage, Santiago to Sosua, buses run every hour starting at 6am, last bus 7pm, according to the webpage the ticket price is 100 pesos (US $2.77). Los Jardines-Santiago to Sosua is 130 pesos.

The webpage lists Batey-Batey, however with no scheduled service to El Batey part of Sosua currently, maybe they are planning to have their buses stop in El Batey, Sosua in the future.

From the Caribe Tours webpage, Santo Domingo to Cabo Haitiano (Cap Haitian, on the north coast) ticket price is 40 pesos (US $1.11), that is a long ride.

Are there any regular clubs in Santiago, like they have in Sosua where you can pick up chicas?

Passions is a dance club, strip club, and chica club. You can go with your chica and dance to live or stereo music, or meet a girl there. There are girls offering their sexual services on site. A strip show begins at 1:00 am, the place closes late.

There are a lot of clubs in Santiago but can't affirm that they are like clubs in Sosua, I have never been in Sosua.

ThanksDepends what day of the week you will be there. When I was in Santiago, Monte Bar in Las Colinas was open every night. Monte Bar is a big place usually with live music, it is a normal bar. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the best nights for normal bars in Santiago. Passions I have read is open every night. On the same road as Passions there at least 6 cabanas, which are hotel type places for 4 hour hour room rentals, to get your groove on.

Casa Blanca and Ilusiones are places with pro chicas. MOMA Bar, Tribeca Bar, H20 Bar, Overlounge are normal bars, there are others.

Hotel El Gran Almirante is the most expensive hotel in Santiago, it has a large casino, occasionally pro chicas hang out in the casino there.

Any questions just ask, there have been good posts here recently about Santiago, just read back a few pages.

Alcazar Bar didn't exist when I stayed at the Gran Almirante Hotel. Appears it is a new place. Not sure where they would locate it inside the hotel. When I stayed there that hotel had about three small restaurants behind the lobby desk, adjacent to the casino (one was a small tapas restaurant). If you go there and it is not happening, Overlounge Bar (sounds like Ober Bar when Dominicans say it) is close to El Gran Almirante Hotel. Also MOMA bar is not too far away from El Gran Almirante Hotel.

Passions, Casa Blanca and Ilusions are the three places that I know of in Santiago, I have not been to any of them.

Boricua Online has pinned the location of Passions on his sdq google map, just scroll up to Santiago using this link:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ie=UTF8&ll=18.480627,-69.965143&spn=0.009891,0.019248&z=16&msid=106767774275556555984.00046d685b11334063b43&mid=1246199584

The place around the corner from Montezuma Bar, I don't know what goes on in there, I saw posters of sexy women on the walls of that place. Some bars only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Compared to Santo Domingo, Santiago has much less open and available p4p action.

I always use boricua online's google map when I want to see a map of the dominican republic for directions: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ie=UTF8&ll=18.480627,-69.965143&spn=0.009891,0.019248&z=16&msid=106767774275556555984.00046d685b11334063b43&mid=1246199584

He has pinned the location of Passions. From the airport maybe a 10-15 minute drive. When you exit STI airport take Avenida Victor Manuel Espaillat to Autopista Duarte and make a right on Autopista Duarte. Probably within 10 minutes or less on Autopista Duarte you will see a sign for Zeus Cabana (it will be on your right when heading into Santiago City), make a right on the road where the sign says Zeus Cabana is located. I never went to Passions, but from the Google map it is right after Zeus Cabana. You should see large electrical power lines near Zeus Cabana, Passions should be right after Zeus Cabana. I used Zeus Cabana one time, it was not a very glamorous cabana, price was around 400 pesos for 4 hours.

To get into Santiago after Passions you will take the same side street past Zeus Cabana and when you get to Autopista Duarte you will make a right onto Autopista Duarte, you will see more Cabanas that have large signs, Helios, Bora Bora and others. Autopista Duarte will bring you to the Monument in Santiago.

If you are already in the central part of Santiago and you want to visit Passions, you want to take Autopista Duarte going south in the direction of Santo Domingo. Same thing, you will pass Cabanas, Zeus Cabana will be on your left on the other side of the highway, when you are heading south in the direction of Santo Domingo.

I have been to Classicos in Sosua. From what I have read Passions doesn't have much interior lighting. From what I have read, asking prices by the chicas can be high, 100 US Dollars and up. I have had in the past, had Santiago chicas ask me to take them to Passions. Appears not all chicas you may encounter there are working girls.

I have only used Santiago airport twice. From answering your question I learned exactly where STI Airport is on the map.

The Club is called Passion. It's a strip club/dance club.

I was there a few months ago. You can bang the girls in the rooms they have there for $100 or you can take them out for $150. From what I understand........ for that price the club gets $50 and the girl gets the other $100. Crystals in Pop charges the same amount. I have yet to hear anybody on this forum say they got the girls out for anything cheaper.

Trust me you will not get it any cheaper unless your Dominican. You can, if you wish, deal with the ones that work the streets, which are on drugs or have the sickness. You can also go to the real clubs and try for the college girls, but they want you to spend 3 days and meet the family before they let down their defence.....after 3 days you can get it for free. They all want the US Visa.

I went there with a few friends I didn't go there with the intention of paying that price, but after a few Presidents my wallet was the last thing I worried about. I wasn't leaving that place to go back to Hotel El Gran Almirante and masturbate over a few dollars. If you are stronger then me wait until you drive to Sosua the next day to pay the $2000 to $2500 peso rate.

If you can't wait......... I recommend taking the girl out. #1 reason why, unless you want to see yourself on a porn tape....... I here some of the rooms have hidden cameras for the girls protection. Good luck

Also they have a strip show that starts at 1am. The girls in this club rank from 7 to 10. The girls in there are the Hottest.

Thanks Bigup, Even though the prices are high, I will see what it is about, I feel the same way you do, why should i pay $100 for 1 or 2 hours when I can get it cheaper elsewhere in DR. But I will report back on the scene. Thanks for the info.

Always remember that cab drivers and male hotel employees are good source of information, there should be cheaper choices in the city.

I'm actually going to miss the show at 1:00am. My flight arrives at 2:00am. I was hoping to hit a Passions since I heard its open most of the night. If you are renting a car, make sure the car rental company is open at 2am. If you rent a car and go directly to Passions, put everything in the trunk, out of sight. Around 4am most bars start to close and people go home. I don't know if your plans are to stay up all night and then drive to Sosua. If you are at passions when it closes, and you still want to explore, you could probably head over to Casa Blanca or Ilusiones. Some casas don't care, at what hour the client shows up at their doorstep. Casinos stay open late, they usually shut down around 6am. Be careful with pros you may see walking around the big white monument in Santiago. Many of those pros are transvestites.

The Club is called Passion. It's a strip club/dance club.

I was there a few months ago. You can bang the girls in the rooms they have there for $100 or you can take them out for $150. From what I understand.

You can also go to the real clubs and try for the college girls, but they want you to spend 3 days and meet the family before they let down their defence. After 3 days you can get it for free. I never pay more than $4000RD, and usually pay around $3500RD. Anything higher and she's sticking you with the clueless gringo tax. Of course, there are some variables. Such as your looks, and how well you speak spanish. But the average guy who speaks decent spanish shouldn't be paying more than 4000RD to take girls out of there.

Just got back from DR.

I just want to say thanks for all the info you guys shared. Well first off my flight landed around 2am. Me and my friend had a reserve rental from nellyrac. When we finish passing through immigration there were different booths you could rent cars from. Come to find out that no one was at any of the rental car companies. We spoke to a few people that check bags right next to the rental booths, they told us to wait there about 20 minutes and someone would show up.

At this point me and my boy were getting impatient because we wanted to hit Passions in Santiago. My patience was wearing off quick. After waiting about 30 minutes and having no one show up we spoke to a few guys outside and they hook us up with a rental about 5 minutes away. We would have taken a taxi, but we would have no place to put our bags in the meantime, because we wanted to make it before they closed.

So we got get the rental by now its 3:10. :) Me and my boy is thinking about Passions and getting laid. We get to Passions about 3:25 and walk through the security clearance and the next thing we see is a butt naked chica on the middle of the stage. By this time all my frustrations and and anger from earlier had worn off. The Chica was hot. She was doing splits o the stage, nice body etc....me and my boy got a front row seat. It was no later than 5 seconds when two chicas approached and started grabbing on us.

Me as a long time monger was trying not to get with the first chica I see. I flirted a little bit and we told the girls we were going to the bathroom. That was our plan to shake off the aggressive chicas. There were definitly some dimes in there, I saw a few chicas that I would rate a 6 or 7, but for the most part the chicas were looking good. Also its true the minimum was $100 USD minimum to take out a chica. My boy opted to take one and I opted too. We had sex in just about every position in one of the cabins they have.

I actually did not know the chicas live in that place. Go figure? but anyway me and my boy was feeling good after our sessions. Right after that we drove to Sosua. We hit Sosua got some sleep and woke and started to hit a few bars in the afternoon. I forgot how aggressive the girls are in DR. I had to turn down 10 girls before I got to one. Sosua is definitly cheaper in my opinion, but I session with one chica and the deal was for two hours. We agreed for $35/2hrs. So we go back to my place and she immediately starts to show the goods. We took a shower, before we started washing each other she is sucking me off. So we do it in the shower and later in the bed. ( i want to ask you guys something, is it normal for chicas to take cold showers? every chica wanted a cold shower) Well back back to chica #1 in Sosua after we fuck in the bed the chica just starts laying there on the bed. I'm looking at the clock like WTF? we had a deal for only 2 hours. She starts to sleep. Most guys wouldn't mind, but I wanted a different chica and explore my options. I tried to be nice with this chica but and tried to get her to wake up, she kept saying si papi and sleeping again. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Well long story short, I noticed most of chicas that are feeling you want to stay with you no matter what the agreed price was. I managed to get Chica # 1 out of my hotel but I had to force her. I was just looking for a good time and not to wife up while I'm down there,............I will try to write some more of my trip

Good post. Most car rental companies are not open 24 hours at the airports in DR. Alamo at Santo Domingo Airport is open 24/7. Some of those chicas are like bears hibernating for the winter when they hit the bed. Nice air conditioned, quiet room is something many don't have on a daily basis.

How were the rooms at Passions in Santiago?

Watch out for the Passion girls. Last year I took a girl from there LT after discussing with the boss. Usually they do not allow.
But to my dissappointment this girl is a runner. After spending couple of hours with me she wanted to go home saying one thing or the other. i got tired of her rambling and let her go. after an hour I went to classico and there she was happily hunting. She had a guilty look but who cares. I took another girl from there who turned out to be a sweetheart.

How much is a taxi ride from STI airport to Aloha sol? I am spending one night in STI before I leave to POP. Wondering if I should rent a car instead of paying taxi from airport to aloha, aloha to pasions and back. I can then drive the car to Sosua next day and drop it off at POP airport. I checked with carrental site and there is no additional charge to dropping off at POP.

I also have some friends in Santiago.

I have no clue on taxi prices in Santiago. I will be driving a car rental.

What prices are they giving you for a one day rental?

When I drove at night in Santiago, I never saw Policia Nacional stopping cars. I read recently that policia nacional are stopping cars in Santiago at night, I am not sure if it is true.

Renting a car or taking a taxi, will depend on how much drinking you want to do, and if you want to have to deal with the police if they pull you over after you have had a few beers. I haven't been in Santiago in a while, so I don't know if the policia nacional there are becoming like the ones in Santo Domingo. I will still drive.

Jet Blue prices from new york (jfk) to sti is $100 each way plus taxes, $6 dollars cheaper than SDQ.

Much intra city transfers cost from 100 to 150 pesos, to Passions which is outside the city can cost up to 250 pesos.

250 pesos is like 8$. thats not bad at all. Do you have to bargain? usually from POP airport to Sosua is like 25$, so I was thinking more in those lines.

I checked carrentals.com. Budget has cars for $20 a day but the taxes and fees are like 40$ even if you are renting for a day. The same site offers collision damage insurance for 11$ a day which is much less than if you buy from budget. So its like 70$ +gas to go around STI and drive to POP the next day.

I am flying in from Chicago to STI next week and flying back out of POP. So I was going to take caribe tours from STI to Sosua and then I had the car rental thought. I have done some driving in DR, from SD to Boca chica and little bit in Sosua, to caberte etc. Driving at night on the highways is pretty hard so I only plan to do that during the day. My spanish is pretty limited and i am traveling solo this time.

If your flight gets in late at STI, the car rental office might be closed. A one day car rental, probably not worth it for $60-70 dollars (a one week rental is about $220). After you return the car at Puerto Plata Airport, you would have to pay a taxi to take you into Sosua.

You might be better off taking Metro Bus from Santiago. Metro Bus will let you off in El Batey, Sosua, about two blocks from New Garden Hotel. Caribe Tours will let you off in Charamicos, Sosua and you will have to take a taxi or moto to get to El Batey, Sosua.

From the Google map, appears the Metro Bus Station is off of Avenida Estrella Sadhalla. Aloha Del Sol hotel is less than 10 minutes from that bus station. Appears the Caribe Tours bus station in the northwest part of the city is further away from the Aloha Del Sol hotel.

It's about US$15. There used to be a sign with all the prices but it looked like it was erased. Travelling from any airport in the DR always will be higher than traveling inside the city. That is why it costs $25+ from POP to Sosua and $20 from SDQ to Boca Chica.

Excellent. thanks. so I guess Metro bus would be the best option. I hope I got this right - Santiago Municipal is STI. Some sites refer to cibao airport as STI. man its confusing.
Next question i have, are there any hotels by STI and Pasions? i saw Hodelpa Garden court but it might be out of my range. i am looking at aloha sol or matum rates, if not I'll just have to go there put my bags and head to pasions. my flight arrives at 8:30pm so I should have enough time.

If you stay at aloha del sol you can walk up to the monument. Hotel Matum sits facing the monument.

Albertos Suites is probably the cheapest place, it is about 3-4 blocks from the monument.

I am just about 100% certain there is only one international airport in Santiago. Look at the Google map for santiago. STI airport is off of autopista duarte, about ten minutes from passions. Santiago is relatively civilized so you shouldn't have any problems there.

Metro bus puts you closer to hotel new garden, from the metro bus stop in Sosua, you can walk to new garden hotel in about 5 minutes. Maybe Metro is one or two dollars more expensive than Caribe Tours. Metro Bus station in Santiago appears it is closer to any of the hotels you may stay at. Caribe tours station in Sosua is on the other side of playa sosua, it would be a long walk from there to new garden hotel.

A ton of cabanas, but no decent hotels to my knowledge. But don't worry, you're still getting there pretty early if you're just planning to hit the chica bars. I generally don't get to Pasions, Illusions, or Casa Blanca before 11:00 anyway. And the later you wait to salida a chica, the better your chance of negotiating a good price. I don't even start narrowing down a choice before 1 or 2am.

With an 8:30 flight, you'll have more than enough time to get to your hotel, shower and change clothes, and still get out to the chica bars with time to spare. I once had a delayed AA flight that got me into STI at 3am. But Illusions was still open and popping!

Got ripped of by a taxi driver Emilio who drives a white Toyota Camry. When you get off STI airport and see this dorky guy with glasses stay away from him unless you know your way around and can dictate. I ended up paying him 2500 pesos+beer+dinner and the moth**fuc*** was back for more the next day lying to the front desk that I did not pay him enuf. I have his card with me somewhere, once I find it I'll scan and post it here.
He wanted $20 to go from airport to Aloha. So I told him I want to come back to pasion after I check in and shower. He quotes me $30 for both and he will wait a little bit. On the way I tell him about my plans to go to Sosua the next day and he offers his services though I said I'm planning to take the bus. We talk about hotel options and he says Matum is the best deal and Aloha is over $100 a day, so I go to matum and check in there for $60 a night. Not a bad hotel though there were little mariposas as a chica called them (little roaches).
The guy waited for me and then we set off to pasion. on the way I saw international carwash (which i think is the best action for a carwash in sti that I saw, the other one hermano gomez diaz is useless) and wanted to stop for a few minutes to check it out. I got a big presidente and we shared and I talked to few chicas got phone numbers and then we were off. Once in Pasions we were early and its slow, he tells me there will be girls at the restaurant and we go there and get a table. He orders food for 500 pesos and we watch the girls. I am not hungry and just have a beer. At this point I get a little anxious and tell him I think I am done with him and ask him how much? he says $100 and that he will stay until I pick a chica and he will drop us home and he will be back the next day to take me to Sosua for a good deal. I said no way and with my poor spanish i get it down to $70 to get me back home.
I had one girl on site and took another one to the hotel with the dork driving us back. Pics in photo gallery. So once back in the hotel I dont have dollars so i give him 2k pesos and he takes his phone out and uses the calculator to show me 70X36 is more than that. So i gave him another 500 pesos and asked him to get lost. He comes back next morning at 10am and calls from the front desk asking if I wanted to go to Sosua. I told the front desk guy no thanks and hang up. 10 mins later the phone rings and the front desk guy say I need to pay up. the dork says I only paid him 1600 pesos and need to pay 500 more. I said I'll call policia and ask him to leave. they call 2 more times and the front desk guy says taxi wont leave until i pay up. After my chica left i went down around 1 pm and he was still there. i shoved him off and finally he left.

I learnt later that taxi from matum to pasion or anywhere within city only cost me 150 to 200 pesos max. Doh!!

Aloha Sol has rooms from $50 with full breakfast buffet.

If you read my posts you can learn that taxi from hotel to anywhere in the city is from 100 to 150 pesos, a little more on nightime.

Fat#k tooooo much BS over a taxi! LOL I wish I was with you brother I luv putting the banditos in their place.

I had 1 taxi who wanted 500 pesos from El Conde to Melacon WTF Over! I smiled and told him that was not enough I was only going to pay 1000 pesos because I am really an idiot. I flagged another and he charged me only 100 pesos which is about right.

I think when I leave Afghanisfreakingstan I will start a VIP escort/protection detail here.

I love this place.

So once back in the hotel I don't have dollars so I give him 2k pesos and he takes his phone out and uses the calculator to show me 70X36 is more than that. In the Dominican Republic these people like to get ''cuts'' your driver got kick backs from Hotel Matum then Hotel clerk helped him by getting more money out of you.
If a taxi driver tried pulling that in front of Aloha Sol they would get ran off by the police in front.

I won't ever stay there after they did this to you ,screw them!

I hate touts and crooked buisnesses glad you brought it to our attention.

ThanksI always rent with alamo and choose the third party liability insurance and the glass/tire insurance. For $40 US a day or less, with the added insurance you could probably rent the small car from alamo, the chevy spark, good little car.

My advice, don't go cheap on the rental car. Rent from the big companies, let your mastercard provide coverage for collision/loss protection and get the third party insurance.

I have a friend who works at alamo. He told me that avis, hertz, budget, nelly, payless are all owned by the same group of people.

I have never had serious problems renting from alamo. Reserve online, there are coupon codes out there that will save you some money.

Your fault or not nothing keeps you from going to Jail it is not very pleasant.I drove super careful my last trip. The good thing about Santo Domingo is that there are not a lot of motoconchos and scooters zipping around you. Puerto Plata and San Pedro de Marcoris have many motorcycles and scooters zipping around.

If you plan on renting a car, let me know and I will give you the contact info for two people I know who work in Alamo, one is a guy in Santo Domingo who has worked at Alamo for over 10 years, the other is a chica who works in Puerto Plata. You can contact them and ask them any questions you may have. I was assured with the third party liability insurance, that I purchased, that there would be no jail time in the event of an accident. I don't believe everything that a company employee tells me, so if I do have an accident with bodily injuries, who knows what will happen.

I asked a dominican chica who used to work at a car rental company, about casa de conductor, she never heard of it.

These chicas cant be touched by us older gringos can they?

Even if you had money.I have seen plenty of older guys throughout the Dom Rep with beautiful much younger chicas. I remember one night in coppa discoteca in Santo Domingo, I saw a 70 year old guy with two fine chicas. That old guy had on sunglasses, a suit and a hat in the disco. To me he looked like a cross between an Albanian gangster and Count Dracula, but he must have had money because the two fine chicas were glued to his side.

The high end places in Santiago will mostly have people from a higher economic class. Some of the chicas may have very wealthy parents, so an older gringo with some coin will not impress them. However not all of those chicas come from wealthy families and if some of them can find a rich sugar daddy, they will make themselves available.

I am sure that if you wanted to spend some money in Santiago, you could bag some of the chicas who hang out at the higher end places. What I have seen at the higher end clubs in Santiago, guys drive up in their $70,000 or more, cars (porsche, mercedes, bmw). They get a VIP table at the club/bar/disco. In Santiago I saw guys buying bottle after bottle of champagne. Some chicas go to the club without guys and they get invited over to table.

There are some very pretty chicas in Santiago who come from poorer families, so it may not take much spending to get them into bed.

For me, Santiago is too slow. If you had the time and could spend some time in Santiago, you could do very well with some pretty chicas. For me the pace in Santo Domingo is a lot faster and there are a lot more venues in Santo Domingo where I can pass the time.

Hope this helps, any questions just ask.

Hi guys,

Planning a trip and narrowed it down to where I'm thinking of staying, I heard great things for each one, this would be a first time trip to Santiago. Automatically I would think Aloha Sol but Hodelpa gives you access to a pool, rooms look a bit better, are there huge differences in between? (chica-friendliness considering too) which one you pick?

Price is the big difference. I have stayed at the Hodelpa Centro Plaza numerous times and paid about $120 per night. Aloha de Sol is 1/2 block from Hodelpa Centro Plaza and from what I have read the room rates are $50-$60 per night.

For me being able to use the pool at the Hodelpa El Gran Almirante was the deciding factor. You can invite chicas over to pool if you stay at the Hodelpa Centro Plaza. Very nice pool with a view north of the mountains. There is a decent gym near the pool and there is a chica that gives non-sexual massages there. There is a pool bar, with a friendly bartender named Freddy. You can order food while at the pool.

I have not stayed at the Hotel Aloha del Sol.

At the Hodelpa Centro Plaza, free wifi and a good breakfast buffet in the restaurant the "View", that is on the 6th floor.

I entered the Hodelpa Centro Plaza with chicas and I didn't stop at the front desk. Late at night, if you come in with a chica who looks like a pro, I don't know, they might stop you, I really don't know.

Both places have parking lots/garages. Any questions just ask.

Thanks! Im staying at the plaza, yea the pool is a nice perk, will definitely use it in some way to my advantage, thanks again. At the Hodelpa El Gran Almirante, the pool is the second or third floor. The door to get to the pool deck is usually locked, your plastic room key card from Hodelpa Centro Plaza may not open the door, you may have to stop at the front desk of El Gran Almirante and tell them you are staying at the Centro Plaza and they will give you a plastic key card that will open the door for the pool deck.

Some non-pro or semi-pro may tell you don't have a bathing suit for the pool. About two blocks from hodelpa centro plaza there is a La Sirena store on Calle de Sol. La Sirena sells everything, food, clothes and electronics. You could take a chica there to buy her a bathing suit for 200-500 pesos.

There is small mall in Plaza Hache which is about three blocks from the El Gran Almirante, prices there for bathing suits are higher. Plaza Internacional is another mall no too far from El Gran Almirante hotel.

I love to get in the water with chicas.

Underground parking garage at the El Gran Almirante that you can use for free and you can take the elevator from the underground parking garage to get to the pool deck. If you are driving a car, many parking lots and garages in Dom Rep will give you a plastic card when you enter. When you exit the lot/garage you will give that plastic card back to a worker there (it is way to deter stealing of cars from the lots/garages).

Try to find an honest taxi driver. There are no meters in the taxis there, so confirm prices before you use a particular driver. You can always ask people at the hotel to call a taxi for you. Fridays restaurant next door to the El Gran Almirante is a fairly new restaurant, it has good service and is clean.

Price for a short term rental at a Cabana ranges from 100 to over 1000 pesos, depending on the cabana and the room.

If you take a taxi to a cabana, you could ask the driver for his card with the phone number and his taxi number, so that you could call him to pick you up after you are finished in the cabana.

The cabanas that I am familiar are on the main road when entering Santiago from the direction of Santo Domingo. They are about ten minutes from the Monument.

My favorite cabana was bora bora. You can order beer and soda at cabanas. Some Cabanas offer food.

Usually the more expensive rooms at a cabana are located closer to the entrance, some rooms will have names like ejecutivo, fantasia etc. If you continue to drive into the cabana complex, the more basic, inexpensive rooms will be found.

You can buy a cell phone in Dom Rep at Claro for 500 pesos. Some guys buy chips at Claro or Orange for their cell phones and switch the chips. Chips I have been told cost 200 pesos. The cell phones you could buy in DR are like the prepaid cell phones in the States. You would purchase a card, scratch off the secret code on the back, dial 1133 for Claro and then enter the secret code and minutes will be added to the cell phone.

From Centro Plaza you can walk up Calle de Sol to get to the Monument. There are several bars and restaurants around the monument, kuka macara and montezuma being the two biggest places.

At night some transvestites stroll around the monument. Some pros hang around near the casino that is attached to the Hodelpa Centro.

Have fun, any questions ask and post a report when you can, thanks.

I know theres various companies.I don't know if Caribe Tours or Metro stop at the airport. If they don't stop at the airport, your best choice might be to take Caribe Tours to their bus station in Charamicos, Sosua. From there you could take a taxi back to the airport.

Charamicos is closer to the airport, than the bus stations in Puerto Plata. It will take more time going to charamicos, sosua, because you will pass the airport on the way to Sosua, but the taxi fare might be cheaper from Charamicos, Sosua than if you were to take a taxi from one of the bus stations in Puerto Plata, to the airport.

Metro Bus Stop is in El Batey, Sosua on the other side of Sosua Beach from Charamicos and thus is a little more further away from the airport, than Charamicos.

I definitely got a phone last time when I was in sosua, it helped when managing the numbers that you get, however what bus company is easiest to take to the POP airport? Would it be caribe or metro? I know theres various companies.

From STI? I'd take Caribe to POP and nearby is the parada for publicos to Sosua. Just tell them to drop you at the apt and they'll pull into the entrance to the airport a little ways and deposit you. Short walk to terminal. ten minutes.

Going forward, I am looking to rent an apartment when I travel to Santiago? I want to rent on nightly, possible week. Anyone aware of resources?

I like Santiago a lot. There are few places in the world where regular girls are available on an easier basis. That being said, there is not a lot of easily accessible P4P, for those times when convenience is more important than real GFE.

The night before last was no exception to my frustrations. My new girlfriend (we met on Tagged and fucked on our second date last April) went home at midnight, as her mother is some type of religious nut, and she is not allowed to sleep out. I was at the Hodelpa Gran Central, which I recommend for price, convenience, location and being girl-friendly.

So, I took a walk through the Casinos, and the pickings were slim (as always, the girls who are employed at the casinos were outstanding, but I have had no success trying to get these girls. They are probably available for a real date- on their day off- dinner, flowers, meet Mami, etc). Finally, a 25-30 ish woman was seen walking down the street, conversing with cab drivers, and I asked her where she was going. She said the casinos, had a pretty nice face and body, so I invited her up for some company. She gave a very good BBBJTCIM and was soon $40 US richer and on her way around 2 am to lose all of her new riches playing the one armed bandit.

Being still pretty horny (I had now fucked my girl twice, and gotten a blow job from the street girl, but I was in the DR for the first day after a prolonged absence and was clearly in heat), I called a number I found on the internet. A 7 am delivery was promised, but failed to materialize. Imagine my frustration when 7 am came and went!

At this point, I showered and got ready for work. As I stepped into my cab an hour later, I asked the doorman about morning pleasures. Passions is closed, and the car washes don't have action until the afternoon. Imagine my joy when the doorman, whose name is Juan, pulled out a list of numbers and names! Sadly, although I was interested, I would not be back from my appointment until my novia returned to my hotel from her Mom's house. She is not into threesomes, so I passed. However, Juan truly brightened my day, as well as my prospects for returning the Santiago, City of Gentlemen, soon! In my view, this was all it took to make Santiago complete. Lot's of willing "freebies", Passions for the rare night when I have the energy to put up with a long cab ride, loud music and high prices (don't get me wrong, despite these drawbacks, the girls at Passions are really hot), and a scene of independent girls who are available during the day for the occasionally full-service massage makes this city complete! For a guy like me, who likes sex to be available 24/7, but prefers the GFE experience over everything, the city is now perfect.

If anyone gets to the Hodelpa Central Plaza soon, please PM me Juan's phone number. I think he can be a real help in the future, and I would hate to lose him!

I was looking into flying spirit into Santiago as there is a flight which is both cheap and convenient for me but it arrives at 2AM. Spirit seems to only arrive or depart there in the very early morning hours.

Does anybody experience with these flights and what alternatives you have? I've flown into POP and Las Americas. I'd be interested in seeing Santiago then going to Sosua/Caberete. Any cheap ($50 ish) hotels you can take a cab to and check in at 3AM?

... your best choice might be to take Caribe Tours to their bus station in Charamicos, Sosua. From there you could take a taxi back to the airport.

Charamicos is much closer to the airport, than the bus stations in Puerto Plata. It will take more time going to charamicos, sosua, because you will pass the airport on the way to Sosua, but the taxi fare might be cheaper from Charamicos, Sosua than if you were to take a taxi from one of the bus stations in Puerto Plata, to the airport. it will be much cheaper!

Metro Bus Stop is in El Batey, Sosua on the other side of Sosua Beach from Charamicos and thus is a little more further away from the airport, than Charamicos.
This is the best solution. Although it might look funny going past the airport into Charamicos, then having to come back again, it is likely to be the quickest, and will certainly be the cheapest, method.

They don't stop at or near the POP airport. I have tried without success to bribe Caribe Tours drivers to make unscheduled stops for me (for example at Costambar and at Field of Dreams). Locals confirm they cannot be bribed to do that though there would be no harm in trying.

But even if Caribe Tours did drop you on the main road near the airport you would still have a 15 minute walk to the terminus (a problem if you have a suitcase or it is raining) or you could take a motoconcho as far as the barrier (they are not allowed further) and then you only have 5 minutes to walk.

Similarly you could tip a regular publico en route from Charamicos to Puerto Plata to take you as far as the barrier and walk the remaining 5 minutes. I believe they are not normally allowed past the barrier although I have seen one or two inside at the terminal.

I've done this Spirit flight. It's not TOO bad on a weekday, when the Sosua-bound busses depart just after 7am. But on a Sunday, the earliest bus out is like 9:20am. So I had to kill nearly 6 hours (3 at airport, then 3 at bus station).

On DR1, there's a thread about an open-24-hours casino not too far from the Metro/Caribe stations. The idea was not to sleep there, just finding a place with some activity, food and drink to kill time 'til the busses start running.

Sorry to disagree with you Sir Pooter but I have been on Caribe Tours when they have stopped at the airport. Just before they depart from Puerto Plata the driver will ask if anyone wants to get off at Grand Parada, Montellano, Airport or La Union, if so they make sure you have your luggage on the bus as they will not open the cargo holds for these stops.

I stand corrected and I am very glad to hear that is now the case. Very sensible and useful for everyone. Thanks for letting us know. Good tip about the luggage, too.

I assume he stopped on the main road at the airport and didn't enter along the service road?

Out of Platino, camp david and aloha sol - which is the best for chica action like NG in Sosua?

Thanks.Hotel Platino and Hotel Aloha Sol are chica friendly hotels in Santiago. From what I have read, some pros hang around the New Garden Hotel to service clients. When I stayed at Hotel Platino, I did not see any Pro chicas hanging around.

Hotel Aloha Sol I did not see any pro chicas hanging around on the inside of that hotel. 1/2 block from the Aloha Sol Hotel there is a casino in the Hodelpa Centro Plaza Hotel, at night some pros hang around that casino.

From what I saw in Santiago, I did not see any hotels that resemble New Garden Hotel, in having Pro chicas who just hang around waiting for clients.

Pay for play in Santiago is not the easiest.

SITUATION - Trying to get ONE post that answers this repeating question; Not trying to be a smart ass, but this really isn't a discussion question. I know there are some veterans, and likely a resident that can answer this question. With the exhorbitant cost of flights to POP, and cheap flights, including Spirit, this info is needed more and more. Thanks in advance for your help.

Flying into STI - Late night (or middle of the night)

Need a CHEAP room:

1) Please give a name of a hotel near airport?
2) Please give a name of hotel near Metro Tours?
3)What is taxi price from STI to Metro Tour bus station?

BAMF!Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights bars are open. Friday and Saturday nights they stay open later. Passions supposedly stays open late, it is a club with pro chicas, off the main road from the airport when heading toward santiago city. If you go directly to passions from the airport, your luggage will be with you. Whether you can encounter an honest taxi driver who will make sure your luggage is secure while you visit passions, I don't know.

Casa Blanca and Ilusios are the two other places with pay for play chicas in Santiago.

There are many cabanas near passions. Cabanas are 4 hour or longer room rentals, prices range from $3 to over $30 per 4 hours. You could potentially take a taxi from the airport (sti) to passions, pick out a chica, pay her probably over $100 and take her to a cabana. You can stay in the cabana till the morning and then you will need a taxi to come and pick you up to take you to the bus terminal.

Pay for play in Santiago is not cheap.

Any Ideas how long is the drive from Sosua to STI on a Tuesday morning? trying to figure out what time to leave sosua to catch 1:15pm flight from STI.
Is the mountain road (Bartomo) faster during that time? Google maps show 3 diff. routes each taking between 1 hr 4 mins to 1 hr 27 mins as below. Is it really that fast, how much padding should i add?
This time I am renting a car and not messing with the taxis.

2.
1 hour 18 mins

About and hour and a half no matter which way you go. I am fairly sure someone will chime in to dispute my claim but, since I make the trip at least two to three times weekly I am pretty sure about it. Over the mountains it takes a little longer because the road is really bad at some stretches. The highway through puerta plata is just long. I am not sure about this other route because I never go that way.

I have driven many a time to Santiago from Sosua on the mountain road. It is safe and usually not much of traffic. For the first time driver at night maybe a problem because of the fog and twisting roads. But daytime is not a problem.
I have made it in 45 minutes from sosua town to near the Casino in santiago where the monuments are. I do not know where the airport is. I have never taken the national highway via Puerto Plata. It is very crowded especially during the daytime and for a time I believe it also goes through the mountains. Location of STI maybe right on the highway. If you can negotiate the local roads in Santiago it is better to take the mountain road.

October 2010-November 2010

So in the course of a week, immediately returning from a Month long trip to DR I, ostensibly have returned to work, hated every second of life in the real world, fought with my girlfriend subsequently broken up with my girlfriend, ducked a bullet from the job for taking a MONTH off from work when I was suppose to only have been gone for 2 weeks and have Planned my return to the DR for 2 months extended in about 3-4 months, leaving in March coming back to the states in July.

Enough about my drama now on to the story so, as I alluded to in my self-absorbed preamble to my report I stayed in DR for one month I have dubbed myself a DR vet with a total of 5 trips for a combined stay of about 1 year.

But, I know I have so much more to learn. I feel like I have finally got my feet wet and feel like a puppy that has opened his eyes for the first time.

So, I have stayed in Santiago for about 2 weeks or more, Sosua for about a week, Samana for about a week. This report is about Santiago. I was surprised about Santiago. My first visit to DR I was told about women from Santiago that they were difficult, unapproachable, out of my league, etc. You get the picture. This couldn't be any further than the truth after my time there I developed a health rotation of women in and out of my room. I had plenty of women to choose from the phone would not stop ringing.

Location #1 Hotel Matum is the best stay was moderately helpful however they were completely unconcerned with who was going in and out of my room which could be a pro/con. CON: If you get robbed they don't have the girls ID. Pro: No added embarrassment for you or the girl having to stop at the desk to drop off ID and equally so in the morning. Etc.

Location #2 Bar Selena 2 its location is Nibaje, Santiago AV Franco Bido#53, which is about a 8 minute ride from the Monumento. The bar is in a decent middle class neighborhood. I found it buy chance. I was jogging through ensueno, one of the next neighborhoods below the monument, and I got lost. The neighborhood of Nibaje looks a little tuff but I have dark skin so I was able to blend in, I assume anyway. I passed by the bar and it had all the tell-tell signs of a "casa", dark-tinted windows, no menors signs and no armas, I went in. I was the only guy in there with like 30 women bored to death. I was immediately rushed by a chica I quickly dismissed her by checking my phone and shooing her away, I had to get my barrings. I sat down, a few seconds later a thicker lighter skinned chica huge titts approached me, let's call her Rosa, asked me what I wanted to drink, "Presidente Light", big bottle about 90 Road. She went to get it came back and sat down next to me, poured me a cup full and began enjoying the music. This is what made me want to take her home, every time I took a sip or two, she topped off my cup. I asked her what she was doing, "she said" I'm here to service you. I don't know about you all but I'm a sucker for customer service, not to mention those big titts. Her attentiveness led me to believe that she would provide good service in the sack if she was attentive like that in the beginning. I offered her 500RD to leave with me, she laughed and told me that was too low and besides she claimed that she's not a hoe. She has a good boyfriend in Miami who sends her money, yeah whatever. So she gave me the breakdown which is as followed, 500RD for Salida fee and what you work out with chica is between you too. I didn't leave with Rosa that night. I got the info and went on my way. The next night I left with a dark skinned chica named Charoline for 1000RD. I walk in the joint ordered a beer with Charoline told her lets leave for 1000 Road paid the Salida. We waited outside for a taxi with all the other girls of the bar who happened to be overtly jealous and Rosa was fuming. She told me that I was hers and she didn't want me to leave with her. I laughed and summarily walked myself and Char to the taxi. At Mantun she was hungry so we got food 300RD and I told her ass that was your tip, no argument. We fucked the girl was very good uncovered BJ multi-positions. We fucked about 3 times. Pros: she was well behaved, kept her all night multi-leche's, no clock watcher, no stealing, nice body, wet pussy, young/raw talent. Cons: she talked to damn much, wanted to eat, wanted to watch tv rather than fuck, didn't initiate sex, not really well trained on stimulating a man.

Next night I left with Rosa. She was a beast. I waited till she got off we had a good connection. I went to the bar late around 10pm she was overjoyed to see me. Char was there too and there was a little tension between them, Char wanted me but I was pretty much done with her and rather enjoyed the attention of Rosa. So I bought a huge bottle of Brugal and shared with about 6 girls in the club. Told Char it was over Rosa told her it was business and all was well again tension gone. I Stayed till 12 I was drunk as hell nearly blind. Rosa put us in a taxi much to the dismay of Char who was now watching us jealously asking if she could go and talking shit to Rosa. Rosa was laughing and enjoying the payback from the night before. We fuck very nice, the connection went along way. I did a lot of sweet talking in the bar she was wet as a river when I finally got her in the room. Muti-leches no clock watching night fucking and morning 1000RD took her to breakfast next day

I made another waitress jealous that I was working on at the restaurant next to Mantun. I fucked the restaurant waitress 2 days later 1800RD kids birthday party blah blah blah. Whatever. Saw Rosa again 2 more time 500RD each time she said she likes me and hates her fiancé who lives in Miami and sends money. Yeah sure. I enjoyed. The titts are huge hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Disclaimer: If you speak no Spanish and do not own or refuse to purchase a pocket translator, you very well might not enjoy your experiences in Bar Salinas 2 in Nibaje. Equally so, if you do not have the skin pigmentation or "look" that might allow you to blend into your surroundings, I might advise against going to the Bar. It is not dangerous just don't want anyone to think it is like a place in Sosua, its not it's a locals place. Lastly, if you are scary don't go to DR.

Peace,

BBL

It is not dangerous just don't want anyone to think it is like a place in Sosua, its not it's a locals place. Lastly, if you are scary don't go to DR.

Peace,

BBL

Thanks for the report. Just in time for me, I'll check this place out before heading to Pasion. I am planning to stay at Matum too, I like their location. I'll ask them how to get to bar Selena. Also do you know if this bar or any others are open on Monday night?
I am wondering if I can get Ola gps at Santiago, either at the airport or elsewhere. I got one from Santo Domingo last time and it worked pretty good for the highways and main roads.

I have a wifi capable phone with international data ablitites. I just used that everyday while I was there. My cellphone company had a international plan.

I wouldn't ask the hotel staff where the bar is. Just grab a taxi and tell them where you want to go, believe me they know. It shouldnt b more than 120rd in the day and up to 180rd at nite. I have become a firm negotiator after this trip, I hope that you are too.

Passions has great quality of pros but I its overpriced and you are rushed after one ledge no bueno.

I have the sprint evo. I called sprint and they said voice and data should work fine but they wouldn't guarantee the gps (google maps nav or sprint nav). I hope it works, has anyone tried it?

b.t.w. BigBlkbootylvr - I ate the open air restaurant next to Matum last time. I was the only one at that hour and made some eye contact with the lady behind the counter. I had no clue she was available. Not sure if we are talking about the same person. Do you have her name of the waitress you did by any chance? thx.

I took these photos while I was driving, November 2010. Casa Blanca and Ilusion are on the same street about 5 minutes from one another in Santiago.

I promised my friend Big Up, that I would take photos of Pasion in Santiago. I took these photos at night during a light rain so they are not the best photos. Pasion is located a little way past Zeus Cabana. Pasion has a large parking lot with guys who will help you park and watch your car. Inside Pasion there are probably 50 tables. I was early, but many tables had bottles of cranberry juice already on them in preparation for the customers who would come in later and buy bottles of vodka. A few chicas were sitting on sofas near the entrance, I did not get a good look at them. I had two chicas from Moca with me who wanted to return later in the night to Pasion in more sexy clothes, so I stayed only a few minutes in Pasion.

That narrow mountain road that you can pick up from making a turn near plaza hache in santiago and brings you to some sugar cane field between Puerto Plata and Sosua. I would not recommend that road. The road is narrow, no guardrails in some places, sometimes part of the road is washed out reducing it to one lane, pedestrians walk on the road, many curves and tight bends where you have to worry about coming head on onto another vehicle coming in the opposite direction or hitting a pedestrian because other vehicles have boxed you in. Too much work for me that road.

I was there last night. The one guy at the restaurant/bar outside the main club speaks good English. He tells me Pasion is now open 7 days a week. Use him for any translation services. U could still get ripped off. 3 out of 4 girls I got back to my hotel so far have been runners, finding some excuse to runaway and not stay the promised duration. The biggest problem is they make you pay upfront. I think that can be negotiated with the guy, next time i'll try that. There are some stunners there, but they quote real high prices right off the bat. I had 3 last night ranging from 2k pesos to 3k for 1hr. have some pics for later. The cabanas there are average at best with the showers not working. B.t.w. I drove around at night and the car washes were closed.
Today, I am waiting for my bags to arrive (American screwed it up as usual) so i can start driving to Sosua.

peace.

Kman1, please post the pics since there are not a lot of santiago talent pics on this board.A few notes about Pasion. Buy your beer outside at the restaurant / bar. Its 150peso large presidente or 100 small. Inside its 325 first large one and the waiter will most likely pocket 25p tip without asking you. They told me the next drink inside is cheaper but I did not try. I was so pissed I will never get a drink from the waiter inside. The loco chicas made me do that. Next, if you really find a cute one and you are not confident to take her back to the hotel all nite for the huge price just go to the cabana for an hour, which will still be 2500 to 3000 (tln runs from 4000+) , those are my numbers, I am sure others have theirs. Even for ST price goes up if she has to leave the premises. Never take one back for TLN unless you are really comfortable and make sure you use the pasion guarantee that if chica leaves earlier than promised you can go back and get a refund. Take her with you to the guy at the outside restaurant and finalize the terms. Threaten to call pasion if she starts making excuses.

Now, I had no problems with this gal that I would fully recommend. She stayed till 11am before I had to leave for my flight and agreed for a last pop (4th) just before leaving (for a small tip + her 4k pesos for TLN). Just let her take charge, she knows how get the job done.

Spent a couple days here this trip- nothing new except found a club called Bilboa on Espana about 500 feet south off Dell Sol near the Lasirena. It opens at noon till 5am. Prices are 400 peso bar fine 1000 or less for the girl. You can have them in the bar for 800 pesos. I was getting these prices from an employee while having a beer there it was 80 pesos for large presidente. It is a bar with dance floor couches. There is about 8 girls by day and they really come in after 9 it is kind of a freelance thing for the girls I think.

I am sure this place is old news to KOKI and Jaosusa but I never knew of this place before here is pic if the sign over entrance.

When will you be in Santo Domingo? I should be in SDQ the beginning part of February along with Greek Niko and Koki. I think I stopped in that place once years ago. A few blocks away is Hotel Tropicana or Tropical. A real dive. I used to go there when I was staying at Colonial and was bored as they were open in the daytime and cheap cold beer. Also the first time I went there was a cute girl 7.5 or 8 with a nice body and she quoted me 500 pesos, on site or in my hotel. Seemed to good to be true and I was sort of beat. She sat with me for 3 hours, we drank beer, made out, fondled each other and when I left she asked for a tip to buy lunch. Gave her 100 pesos and she was happy.

Of course this may have been 6.7 years ago. The few times I have been since there were not any chicas as cute as she was and most were lets say "less than attractive but. If you hit Billboa it may be worth a stop just on the somewhat slim chance of a diamond in the rough.

I just arrived here after 8 nights of heavy mongering in Sosua, so have been feeling a bit 'shagged out', literally! I will report fully on Sosua at a later date, as I will also be heading back there in a few days. After the relative peace of Sosua and the north coast, arriving here yesterday during the rush hour was a total shock to the senses, with all the traffic, pollution and constant car horns and alarms going off.

Thought the area of the bus station where I arrived with Metro looked a bit calmer and nicer than downtown where I am staying, so headed up there today by taxi, walked to the 2 shopping centres nearby just to check them out. As I said, have been feeling pretty tired, so so far have just been checking out the ladies, a few nice ones in and around the shoping mall, but was not exactly stunned by them.

Earlier on today I decided to take a walk to this bar 'Selena' that Blk Big Bootyluv was talking about. Found the right street, and walked up and down it both sides of Avenida Francia but could not find it. But stupidly I did not write down the number before I set off. Is it definitely still open? Could you please advise me though, is this place open during the day, and if not around when does it open, and would it be safe for me to walk there in the evening from downtown, Calle del Sol? By the way, I am medditeranean looking if that helps! I agree with you that walking down Avenida Francia seems middle class, but Avenida Franco Bido is a fairly rough looking street full of small repairshops and businesses. And last thing, is it called Bar Selena or Bar Salinas, as you quote both names in your posting?

I have a couple of other random questions that I cannot find the answers to on the previous 20 pages, if anyone could help with these it would be greatly appreciated.

Are Casa Blanca and Illusions near to Passion, so if I did not like one would be easy to check out the other? Any ideas which has mores curvy ladies and less barbie dolls, which are not my type at all.

Hotel / Casino Matum, worth checking out? Do pro's hang out there, and what is the name of this restaurant next to Matum that was quoted.

Where is the international car wash? Are there any other good ones?

I would apprecaite any advice because tonight and last night have been wasted mongering wise, well at least I will be able to recharge my batteries. Tomorrow I definitely plan to get some action.

Ilusion and casa blanca are about 2-3 blocks from one another on the same road. That road heads toward Moca. One guy picked up a chica from some chica who worked at a food cart, I believe near the texaco gas station. There is a texaco gas station on ave estrella sadhalla. At that intersection with the texaco, you take ave juan pablo duarte east to get to ilusiones and casa blanca. Friday and Saturday nights, santiago gets going. Monte Bar is usually busy every night, try to visit MOMA, Overlounge, francifol, Camus, Dubai to see non-pro chicas. The Hodelpa off calle de sol has a casino where some pros hang out.

Late at night beware street walkers around the monument, they looked like transvestites when I drove by in my car.

I have never visited a car wash in santiago, so I can't help you with that. If you have a car you may want to pay a taxi driver to show you where different venues ar located, you can follow behind him in your car.

Hope this post is not too little too late. But here goes it. Ok I believed I advised to take a taxi to Salenas bar in Nibaje.

The taxi drivers know where it is. From what I've read from you adventure on foot sounds like your really close. I remember all those many repair shops.

I would like to reiterate that the quality of chicas in Pasions is very impressive I feel IHO the service is sub par when compared to GFE experiences I have had in DR.

Ok I'm going to swing for the fences on this one and if you do this you need to be both brave and channel your inner explorer spirit. Get a taxi and tell him to take you to Monte Rico. There are 2 bars and 1 Carwash with working girls in them. One of the bars in huge sits on the corner and it is across the street from a bank. I know a chica tht lives in Monte Rico and have been told it was a ruff area. I made it out alive and could have got lucky but I was on an exploration mission so I can pull out a magic trick bag for fellow mongers like you.

Las Americas mall in the morning / afternoon is priceless for picking up nonpros if you can get them. Take a taxi to UTESA the local University thousands of chicas all ridiculously HOT. Pull up a chair order some comida and drinks and smile smile smile. If your nice you should be able to get something nice. Wish I could be more specific but its been about 3months since I was there.

That should keep you busy for a while peace good luck and be safe.

BBL.

I would apprecaite any advice because tonight and last night have been wasted mongering wise, well at least I will be able to recharge my batteries. Tomorrow I definitely plan to get some action. Even though I had a car I took a taxi from Matum to explore the mongering spots in the city since I was not familiar and maps don't work well. I took a quick one hour ride with the taxi guy and then drove on my own from there. Make sure you negotiate a price before hand. Even though spot A to spot B is 100-150 pesos, when the taxi guy takes you to multiple destination and waits for you to go in and check the place out, all fixed pricing goes out the window and STI taxi drivers are notoriously bad.

First I told him to take me to bar Salena (heard from bigblkbtylvr). He did not know where it was but I had the address and googled directions which showed us the wrong direction to turn on the street. So we turned around and it was at the other end of the street. This was 7:30pm on a Monday night and there were about 6 to 7 girls in there. It was really dark and not one person spoke a word of English. Nothing compared to Pasion talent but couple were doable. Some older women in there. I spoke to one and told her I will come back later but she walked out with me outside and was trying to tell me something which I did not understand. There were many family people outside and it created a little scene. B.T.W they told me they close at 12am on Mondays.

Then the dude took me to illusions which is actually pretty easy to get to from the monument, three big roads. It was around 8pm and they werent open yet. But there was a lit bar sign on the side, so walked in and the barman said he will bring one chica from the habitation. She turned out to be the hottest young one I ever saw at illusions. I told her I will be back later and left to check out the other spots. I did not find her after that, she wasnt working that day, they called for her but she was taking her own sweet time before I left.

Since I knew pasions I skipped it, I think next he took me to International car wash which is right on the highway, which I think has shut down. Its been closed the last 3 times I went there. We went to hermanos gomez which also I know sucks since you cannot take out, what the hell is wrong with that place. He took me to I think another big place like pasion (maybe casablanca) , I forget the name, only few girls there too. Then two more car washes and back to Matum. I found all places to be on three main roads (loosely triangular).

At the end he was asking me 1k peso, I said no way and we settled at 700p.
and b.t.w. I always stay at Matum and have never come across any obvious looking working girls in the casino. I did not check out the disco as i was not aware there was one.

Is Matum a good hotel? How much per night?Matum is a pretty decent hotel. Nice beds, bathrooms and good air conditioning. Its US $60 per nite which includes free breakfast which is so so. The location is great and the outdoor restaurant next door is good. The fast food across the street is a good deal too. The monument is a short walk.

I have stayed on Aloha Sol twice but was curious about this hotel. I went to the casino on my last trip to Santiago and won over 200 dollars on their 25 pesos slot machines after 5 minutes playing there so I left the place with the money and bought a couple empanadas in front of the hotel, mmm yummy. My chica arrived 10 minutes later and I never told her about the money I won.

The rooms are nice, spacious, good beds, fridge, tiled floors, good bathrooms. It is very chica friendly. The not-a-puta I got from the casino addressed the night receptionist by his first name and she seemed very at home there. Cooked breakfast included which is OK. Definitely a Dominican breakfast though, not American. Also if you are gambling in the casino around 10:00pm you get a free meal of basic Dominican food. Also free drinks while playing, of course.

Would stay there again.

The hotel was the epicenter of one of the many revolutions sometime in the 60's and there is an interesting display of historic photographs on the second floor lobby.

I had empanadas from the fast food place opposite one of the two nights I was there. Pretty good, they were, especially the pizza flavored empanada. It's 5 minutes walk to the Monument, a few more minutes if you want to go to the top. Just watch the rough ground outside the hotel, especially in the dark. I sprained my ankle returning from the empanada stand, (and I was completely sober).

Not much in the way of chicas in the casino. I found one, and you might find a few semis who have gambled away their funds and need restocking. I talked to a couple, but they weren't attractive enough to be worth fucking, then I took another girl who had a nice smile. I wasn't really sure if she was a pro, so we had a brief conversation along the lines of: "What is your name, do you come here often? Do you want to come to my room?"."Where are you staying?" she asks."Right here", I say."OK" says she.

She took money, then what is she? A few years back I was at the Matum. Three chicas were obviously together, two were sisters. They ran out of money for the slots. I gave them a short bucket of tokens to play. My game was ON! Rented a room for two of them and took one of the sisters to my room. No money exchanged, well, except for the extra room. Such is life here in the DR. I live here now and there is pussy everywhere. It does not take much time to find a chica to put out. Sex here is like breathing.

I am sure this place is old news to KOKI and Jaosusa but I never knew of this place before here is pic if the sign over entrance.Hello, all. I'm new to the board and I'm here in Santiago. I will go to Bilboa to check it out and give an update on the prices. Services etc. I walked past this morning and there was a new sign up. I think orange in color. Anyone else here in Santiago let me know and the first drink is on me.

I am looking for a reliable cab that can take me from Santiago to Sosua. If any member has a phone number please PM me.As a posting stated, there are several bus lines that are cheap, clean and on time. Most leave every hour, like Carib Tours, two terminals, paradas, in the city, and then there is Cibao Lines, I don't know their schedule. Cost is about 300 pesos. Cheap. When you get off the bus, take a motor concho, motorbike, unless you have a lot of baggage, take a taxi. No more than 200 pesos from the bus to a hotel downtown Sosua. ALWAYS ask the price before taking alternate transportation.

The reason some people are looking for info on getting a taxi from STI to Sosua is that there are several flights that get into STI after the last bus goes to Sosua. I have taken a taxi several times and know the bus system as well as anyone but you can't take a freaking bus if it it isn't running dude.

BBLAlbertos Suites in Santiago has gotten decent reviews. I have not stayed there. Seems it is located about 4-5 blocks from the Monument. Price is inexpensive.

Around the Monument there is Matum Hotel and casino with a popular food cart out front that sells empanadas. Empanada food carts on the sidewalks are popular in Santiago. Montezuma Bar and Restaurant in front of the Monument is an easy meeting spot for Santiago chicas, good service the times I was there, you can buy a beer while you wait for the chica to arrive. Kuka Macara restaurant is located next to Montezuma. El Tablon with outdoor seating is a place for food drinks that faces the monument. Wind was a new restaurant that faces the monument. One street behind where Montezuma is, there are several small bars, that street can get a lot of people on a weekend night. Ahi Bar is located somewhere close to there and is popular.

Hello, new to the city, anyone can recommend and honest cab driver? Please do not go with Emilio, the dorky guy with glasses driving a white Toyota Camry, I am so pissed of I can still remember after more than a year (look at my past reports for details). He actually talked Hotel Matum staff into walking up to my room and knock and walk in and threaten me when I was there with my chica the foll. Morning after all I went thru the fist night, worst experience ever with a taxi driver. On the flip side I really got a decent and nice guy driving a red taxi but I don't have his details. I don't know for sure but maybe the red taxis are better? I would definitely go with one next time though I am renting my own car these days.

Stayed at Aloha Sol in downtown Santiago about a mile west of Monument, plesant stay, hotel staff was very helpful. (free breakfast in the morning). Had dinner at TGI Friday nice to see the local middle class Santiago ladies out after work for drinks and dinner. I had a local cab driver to show me around, he took me to a place called the Car Wash, a local watering hole with a lot of women but it was hard to figure out who was available. Went to illusions and Passions, very nice talent but expensive. They were asking for $125 for 4 hrs and $200 for all night. Called a old friend who lives in Santiago at 2am and she was more than happy to catch a cab and come to my hotel.

I never bumped into a chica at the car war that wasn't available. If you speak Spanish, Santiago has a lot of potential. There are also online babes like Ana, who hangs in Sosua sometimes, that you can contact through one of the online dating sites and bone. Drove to Santiago around midday from Santo Domingo. Stopped at Carrefour in Santo Domingo, heavy rain. Traffic near Manoguayabo and Autopista Duarte super slow. Some chica had been calling me a lot and she said she lived near Carrefour, so I told her to take a taxi and meet me at carrefour (large store that sells food and other stuff). Red flag, if a chica calls me more than I call her. I did not remember anything about this chica. She gets out of the taxi and I was embarrassed to take her into carrefour, scary face, nice firm, big tetas though, but the face was too much. I walked her to my car and then drove her over to the taxi stand, gave her some taxi money and continued the drive to Santiago. Parts of Autopista Duarte that day were like a river, over a foot of water on the outside lane near the shoulder.

Arrived into Santiago around 3pm, and parked in front of Montezuma restaurant, near one sign for the Monument. A worker from Montezuma walked across the street to make sure all was well with parking the car. Always excellent service in Montezuma. It was sunny in Santiago. A big titty chica was on her way to Montezuma to meet me, a chica I have chatted with online for over two years. 20 years old, no kids, studies at some University in Santiago. Drank beer with her, for over an hour, then drove her to her university, she had an exam or class. I drove back to the monument and parked near Wind Restaurant, which also faces the monument and has good, fast, free wifi. No Presidente beer at Wind, I ordered Quisqueya beer and did not like it. Went online with my laptop to check some things, then went and visited an old friend who lives near calle de sol, Juan Bosch used to stay at his house. To be continued.

Photos from Wind Restaurant and the Caribbean Suite at Bora Bora Cabaña, two floor room, large jacuzzi. A light skin Santiago chica. 19 years old, no kids, chose the room. 1700 pesos for 4 hours, expensive, I won't let the chica chose the room in the future.

ITWay more than I wanted to spend on a room, that's what I get for letting the chica choose the room. The chica got no money from me, at the end of the night (drinks and a $10US gift, is what she received) , she did not kiss and no oral sex with her, for that reason, I gave her nothing more at the end of the night. If she had chosen a cheaper room, I may have given her 500 pesos food money. No kissing and no blowjob, a little boring.

I have no experience in casas in Santiago.

Anal is available with some chicas in some casas in Santo Domingo and with some SWs in Santo Domingo.

In Santiago, probably anything is available for a high price.

I'm sorry but I like to understand. Why do people reach Santiago if it doesn't have "playas" and there is much "calor"?Calor means hot or warm in Spanish.

Santiago being inland and somewhat elevated, can be a little less warm than other Dominican cities. Santiago is a nice city, good service at some hotels and restaurants. There are some fine looking chicas in Santiago, not all are fine, but there are fine chicas there.

For me Santiago chicas are all about the money. I saw one Santiago chica my last trip who I thought I would have sex with, I have chatted with her online for two years, seen her on webcam, seen sexy photos of her. She wanted a digital cam (I have my doubts with most Santiago chicas) , I went to Walmart and bought her a $40 Vivitar piece of shit digital camera. After chatting with her online for a few years, I thought she might provide some service. I met her in Santiago my last trip, first time in person, she was friendly, nice tits, but no Miss Universe. I figured I would get something from her. I gave her the $40US digital camera and all I got was a peck on the lips, nothing more. She said it was the first time meeting me in person and she could not do anything (although it is never too early for some Santiago chicas to ask for money) , after two years of chatting on line and seeing her half nude on cam and in photos, all I got was a peck on the lips. I got played, it happens. I gave her taxi money and sent her home. Later she told me that the digital camera was nothing, that she wanted a car and a VISA. I said to myself this chica is barking up the wrong tree, no service and she expects a car and a VISA and she is not super fine. Many Santiago chicas and other chicas in El Cibao, believe they deserve more and don't have to make an effort to make a guy completely happy. I prefer places in DR where the chicas are real and will fuck my brains out, like in Santo Domingo and other areas in DR.

From Boricua Online I learned, don't give some chicas a gift until after they have provided service.

Unfortunately, the price of the average cell phone has doubled in the last five years, so I am even more selective with those types of gifts. Now, I say that they can have my DR phone upon my departure from the island.

I have no problem giving a girl a $10 bikini if I know that I'll get some nice photos of her in it, but if a girl wants something more expensive than a cell phone, I walk away. Unfortunately, the price of the average cell phone has doubled in the last five years, so I am even more selective with those types of gifts. Now, I say that they can have my DR phone upon my departure from the island.

Helpmann. Many are not shy about asking for a Blackberry cell phone, but if I ask for something, some get offended,"Soy una Dama"= I am a lady. Well a Lady doesn't ask for a Blackberry cell phone 5 minutes after meeting a guy, is what I feel like saying to some of them.

Some chicas I give the $10US to $20US name brand perfumes they sell at Marshalls and TJMAX. With most it is a good investment. Prices for many things in DR can almost be double, from what you can purchase them in States for.

I gave her the $40US digital camera and all I got was a peck on the lips, nothing more.Come on mannnnn. A new chick always gets gifts AFTER the deed. I would never get any girl nothing that expensive anyway unless she was my wife and we know that ain't happening. I do bring them cheap souvenirs like mirrors and t-shirts from places I go, but that stuff stays in my suitcase until she has put out. Then I say,"Oh yeah, I got this for you." If they ever ask me to bring something big I just tell them no.

For a couple of years one of my chicks in Lima (probably the freakiest woman I know on the planet) kept asking for a cell phone and for me to take her places. I always told her no. Then we broke up. When I went back down in March she was talking about how she wanted to come fuck me. One of my other girls didn't make it so I told her sure come on. That night we did all kind of shit on top of making of movie of it. The next morning she got up to go to work and I gave her like $7 taxi and lunch money. When I finally woke up good I saw that my USA smart phone and a pair of headphones were missing. She fucked me alright. She made $251 worth of roaming charges on my phone as well. I called her on it telling her that I already went to the police, and this is what she replied:

Tomalo como el pago a mi perdida de tiempo contigo y al tiempo que me hiciste tu juguete por estar esperandote tener sexo contigo mientras tu igual salias con muchas zorras mas, y es mas el celular no es nada a lo que tienes tu y los años de perdida de mi contigo.

Here is a pic from that fateful night.

By the way, I have never had a problem with Santiago chicks or any chicks in the DR asking me to bring them things. There was the one time my married girl (but this was before she met her husband) in Puerto Plata wanted me to send some money when that storm came through, but other than that nobody has asked me for a damn thing.

You have been lucky.

The Santiago chica who got the $40US digital camera was not the first Santiago chica who told me no sex on the first date.

In Santo Domingo with some chicas who are better looking and more sexy, than the Santiago chicas who told me no sex on the first date, with those santo domingo chicas, I had sex with them on the first date. For me Santiago is a bit of a waste of time for mongering (I have seen very few SWs in Santiago, I have not encountered a GBP or Playboy Palace type place in santiago, with 1000 pesos for one or 1500 pesos for two chicas prices. The three casas in Santiago, I have read have prices of over $100US. Santo Domingo has probably over 10 venues with prices starting at 1000 pesos, plus SWs, Coppa disco and non-hard core chicas who are enjoyable). Santiago is a nice city, good customer service in some businesses, but for me the Santiago chicas have not put out on a quick enough, often enough basis. Many chicas in El Cibao, la vega, jarabacoa, santiago, seem to believe they are superior and that they deserve more and that they don't have to make a great effort to make a man happy and / or it is OK to make a guy wait. On a short trip, I don't have time to be waiting.

I have given gifts to other chicas in other parts of DR, before any sex and my faith in them was rewarded many times, with good sex. With Santiago chicas, I will play hardball.

Other chicas in other parts of DR, I will trust and give them a gift before any sexual services.

You the man, I hope you continue to bang a bunch of light skin, beautiful Santiago chicas, quickly and for free.

Last time I stayed in Santiago for a week at Hodelpa Gran El Mirante was December 2010. My debit card was just hit with 2 charges one for international assessment fee and then a big hit for $. It appears that someone working the desk or in accounting is working the system. Strange part of this they waited until May 2011 to do the charge and did not process the charge until yesterday. I notify Wachovia in person before going out of country to allow card to work, so its obvious this was not approved. They have shut down the card, replaced the stolen money back in my account. This teaches me the only place I can trust using plastic is Banco Popular. The D. R. Surprises never end, my ass gets hit again and I am in Gringolandia. But I still have to say the GOOD times outweigh the bad.

Heading to Santiago to hang out with chica who has expressed some interest (I still have a little work to do) in going to strip club. Is Santiago just "nightclubs" with chicas sitting around for takeout or eat in or does someone know of a more US style strip club that might welcome couples? I am not optimistic but figure I'd throw it out there.

I have attached pics of friend from Santo Domingo. Fun girl. First year med student. Probably way too crazy for med school. Doubt she will graduate. She loves zippers. Dominicanas are definitely some of the most flirtatious latinas.

I am not sure about santiago.

But in Sd I took my chica to the casa and we got little take out. Was not my first time with the lady but she went for it. It was one for the bucket list. I do not think the clubs will have any problem with the lady. As long as she drinks a beer they are cool. The question is is your chica cool being around the putas. Good luck this has potential go for it.

I have had a few "normal" type dominicanas ask me to take them to Pasion. Pasion has a strip show and expensive pro chicas. Casa Blanca and Ilusion (p4p venues) are on the same road as plaza international (MOMA is a nice normal bar in plaza internacional).

Last time I was in Santiago a chica told me she she was invited to a nude disco in santiago. She said she didn't go. Whether there exists a disco in santiago, where everyone is nude, I don't know.

I had a great time with a medical student in Santiago. I met her online and within 5 minutes of meeting her in person we were driving to bora bora cabana (probably the nicest cabana complex in santiago, they have various themed rooms, including Caribbean themed room and African themed room).

Med student chica was great in bed.

Horus cabana, fantasy room had a bit of a funk smell. Zeus cabana is nothing special.

Thanks Jaosousa! That is exactly what I was looking for! If it is high end the chica should feel pretty comfortable. She is of professed "open mind" (this will have to be confirmed) and told me she heard that there were "XXX Shows" in Santiago that were "bien cool". Perfect place to start the "corruption" process.

Thanks for the pics of Bora Bora! She also mentioned that we would spend at least one night in a love motel. She recommended Venus. Apparently we will go there the first night. She got a rate of like 2500 pesos for 9pm to 10am when she called. Sounds a bit low.

A nude disco would be great. Speaking of naked, there is a nudist resort in the DR called Caliente Caribe. I think it is farily new. It is primarily nudists from States, Canada, and Europe from what I hear but they do have swinger takeover weeks. That could be interesting. I showed this to her and she fricking loved it. Looks good on paper. But could be that it is full of people you probably don't want to see naked.

Here is website. http://www.calienteresorts.com/caribe/destination.html

A place such as Pasion is definitley a good place to really find out how far your girl is willing to go.

Glad you liked pics Helpmann. OldKool, I agree with your philosophy. Got to go for it.

There is a nude resort somewhat close to blackbeards. Blackbeards is in costambar.

Cabana prices vary. Years ago Ethics cabana in Santiago had signs saying 99 pesos. Monday to Thursdays during the day, some cabanas have lower rates. Most cabanas are for 4 hours, but you can stay for as long as you want. Sometimes the second 4 hours is cheaper than the first 4 hours. If you will be staying overnight you can ask for extra sheets, so you don't freeze your ass off with the A / C.

Most cabanas have more fancy, expensive rooms closer to the entrance. I believe I Zeus, I pais around 400 pesos for a basic room.

My last trip to Santiago, I let the chica choose the room, she wanted an Ejecutivo room (Executive room) , but they were all taken, a worker said the Caribbean Room was nice, so I pulled into the garage opening for that room. Two floor room, jacuzzi on the first level, bed upstairs, a few sofas, a few televisions. 1700 pesos for 4 hours. The chica wanted a room with a stripper pole, but that room didn't have a stripper pole. She enjoyed the jacuzzi. Many cabanas have sex chairs or similar things to use for different positions.

You could also go to a quiet beach and the chica might get naked on the beach. Years ago I went to playa rincon and the DR chica took off part of her bikini, that beach then, we were the only people in the middle part of the beach.

First, very nice floating tits on the Playa Rincon girl! Nicely done!

Thanks for details on room pricing. At first I thought it would be crazy expensive and not possible to stay more than 4 hours or the night but she assured me it was. Good to have confirmation of that. Good tip on xtra sheets and AC. Hate when it is super cold in hotels.

I have attached pics of the novia (this is not the Sto Dom med student posted earlier!). She is girl next door type (total Gazelle in Helpmann's nomenclature) who very comfortable with her body, wants to go to nude beach, have sex on beach, pose nude for magazine or website, go to a sex club (well that is more my idea but she has not ruled it out yet). Yada yadda. Maybe even do some softcore video. It is like the Seinfeld episode where Jerry stumbles onto the bi-chick and George tells him his luck "is like discovering plutonium by accident!" But that was in the 90s. With girls coming of age in the Facebook "look at me" era is it really that rare? I know of one adult agency in South Florida but you have to have full US documentation and they don't travel. She has a cute face and nice body. Might be something we might want to explore. Even though adult industry seems flooded with content these days.

Anybody know of reliable or established adult modeling contacts in DR? Is there a DR porn industry?

Made a trip to Santiago two weeks back.

1. Got to describe the travel companions. There were two women next to me on my direct flight to Santiago. By the time we got down, the young woman sitting next to me was giving me what I thought was a candy (I had given one to her and to her Tia sitting next. Earlier in the flight). On further checking, it was a strawberry flavored condom. I was truly blushing. Although it was not visible thanks to my skin color. That was an absolute first. A young woman giving me a condom. I had no idea what to make of that. Does it reflect the Dominican Republic relaxed persona or was it her only. I decided not to ask for her phone number back in the States.

2. In comparison, the next few days were not too good. I had lined up a girl who I had met on my first trip to Sosua who is from Santiago. I called her from the McDonald once I was there happily ensconced with a happy meal. She said she would show up in an hour but never did. I am rather vexed with that. She even declined to respond on my subsequent call. As you can imagine, my afternoon was rather uneventful hence. I had bought a Orange chip earlier for 100 pesos and some minutes but I wondered about my course of action.

3. I entered a salon. Hoping there might be some massage thing I could live with. Nada. The single male barber was friendly as were a couple of girls who I did manicure and pedicure with. A guy came selling empan adas and I bought for all, which made for a good atmosphere and then I had a beer right there. One of the girls, said she was interested in going out dancing the night. She took down my phone number.

4. Went for dinner. Near the Monument. I was looking for goat meat. Something I like (please do not throw up if you do not) and the barber suggested a place. But food was not too good. The animal most likely came from a deep freeze while I was looking for a fresh cull. Tant pis!

5. One of the waiters suggested that the next door dancing place was good so I decided to get back after 11. 00 PM. Unfortunately, I was tired and when I got back, I thought the pickings if any were slim. Did not see single woman / women so I decided to call it 'a night' and settled for a woman in the vicinity of the Hotel. Uninspired but took the tension out.

6. Next morning, called a female who I met online. Hard negotiation. 2000 pesos. To her credit, she was on time but she came in and asked for money first. I decided right there to give her 100 pesos for the cab back and called it quits.

7. The next couple of days were very. Very slim in terms of picking. I met three women (known earlier via web connections) but these proved unproductive. I went to meet two at the Las Colinas Mall and as it so happened, one female of the morning was still hanging around when I went with the next one for dinner. Perhaps I should not be surprised but she was upset and gave me a piece of her mind on phone. My back up plan for the weekend, as you will be able to guess was P4P only. .

8. One good discovery thanks to all these is that I found out about local food. I ate white steamed rice, cooked beef, a thick bean soup that you spread over the rice.tasted very good (called habichuela) plus eggplants and okra. I in fact very much enjoyed the food and it added to my culinary knowledge.

9. Saturday night, I went to a dance place looking to meet a girl. She, it turned out, was not what I was looking for and in addition, was rather possessive. I saw a couple of interesting women in female groups but could not do anything in terms of approaching them because of that. Have to say this. The Dominican women are astounding. They would go and dance with anyone when they are in the mood. I like that free-wheeling soul.

10. Don't recall what I did Sunday night but the salon girl called and I decided it was too late to do anything about it so P4P again. And was ready to throw in the towel.

11. Monday. I called a girl who I had briefly interacted with online. She said she was free and available for lunch. She was on time, a 18 year old and was quite nice in terms of helping me choose food. She came to the hotel –holding my hand but did not get lucky. She said, she had her period. In fact, whenever I touched her breasts, she was not comfortable. I understood they were tender and did not look forward to being touched. Fortunately, she agreed to give me a hand job – no blow job but it just shows young woman do not understand much of a man's private parts. Well she will grow up. BTW, she needed 700 pesos for a scientific calculator.

12. Monday afternoon. I got this phone call. I had earlier mentioned I had met a woman at a Mall helping her sister get on the escalator. I had called her on Sunday but as usual, these women there (perhaps D. R men too?) never have minutes on their phone so it went unanswered. To cut a long story short, she met me at the mall again for a pizza and came back to the hotel.

13. Monday night was uneventful. I tried going to a club called MOMA. Place was closed – just a waste of taxi money.

14. An interesting experience was riding the carro publico. A Toyota corolla. In four on the backseat. Even when there are young women pressing against you, I sure felt apologetic about creeping into others' personal space.

15. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: In Sosua by Metro bus from Santiago. Had very interesting conversation with two Dominican young men – both were university educated engineers. Sosua : You know all about it by now.

16. Two things struck me during this trip:

• Women are possessive even when they are P4P – and even if you treat all of them respectfully. I wonder if it is business sense or something primordial.

• No matter how hard you look for an experience that is both physically and emotionally satisfying, you just cannot go back to where you were in your twenties. You have gone through too many years of adult experiences that just cannot be jettisoned.

It is the law of diminishing returns, my friend. If you have been married for 15 years and then get divorced, the prospect of having the opportunity to have sex with some fresh virgin (in the Biblical sense of no children) of 21 can be quite overwhelming. When you have had sex with 20 such in the last year and have formed the correct impression that the young ladies concerned were more interested in what you have in your wallet than what you have in your pants, then the novelty begins to wear off.

Anyway, in a short space of time you managed to have sex with a variety of women, even though you were in an industrial city not noted as a sex resort, so not a bad trip really. To me Sosua is more fun, but finding out for yourself is real fun.

To anyone reading this-when Tempoecorto came to the DR for the first time a couple of months ago, I met him at PoP airport and he was immediately game for the publico taxi to Sosua, even though it meant walking up to the highway and standing in the dust at the side of the road under a hot sun with no shade waiting for a taxi or guagua, so this is a guy who does not mind getting the full Dominican experience.

My Spirit Flight arrives in Santiago at 2:00 am in the morning. What is the price for a taxi to the Hodelpa Centro Hotel? Where are the reliable taxi cab vendors when you exit the airport that will not try to price gauge a gringo.

You could try a2b transfers: http://www.a2btransfers.com/ Or coco tours: http://www.cocotours.com/. There are probably other reputable taxi companies in Santiago, I don't have their contact info. At 2am should be an easy, fast ride to Hodelpa Centro Plaza Hotel. If you trust the taxi driver, you could ask him to stop off at Pasion (next to Zeus cabana) on the way from the airport to the hotel.

Hodelpa Centro Plaza is a good hotel, I was there last July. They have smoking rooms with balconies that overlook calle de sol. The guys who work at the Hodelpa Hotels (el gran almirante and the centro plaza) have always been excellent with me. Hodelpa Centro Plaza has free wifi and a good breakfast buffet with a guy who will make eggs (omelettes) the way you want. When I stay at the Centro Plaza, I use the pool at the el gran almirante hotel, (you can stop at the front desk of the gran almirante and they will give you a key that opens the door for the pool deck).

At the Hodelpa El Gran Almirante, there is a nice pool, with a bar, gym and a massage room. I got a massage there my last trip (not cheap by Dominican prices, about $40US for a 1 hour massage). I was naked on the massage table, the massage lady removed the towel which covered my private parts.

Freddy is the long time bartender at the pool bar. I never had a problem entering with whomever I wanted at the El Gran Almirante or the Hodelpa Centro Plaza.

They will have a ton of taxi's waiting outside the airport.

But I always wondered about the massage. Was a sexual service available? (was the masseuse worth looking at?).

I once had a cab driver recommend to me a massage at Gold's Gym; he claimed the ladies there were quite willing to provide any type of happy ending I desired. My masseuse was beautiful but she had me leave my shorts on, she buttoned her shirt up to hide her considerably large breasts, and barely muttered a word during the 45 minutes I was with her. I never got around to making the request as I was certain I already knew the answer. The massage, by the way, was quite good.

The air-conditioner blows about mid-section of the massage table. I have gotten massages twice at the Hodelpa, two different chicas, both had good size breasts (Santiago probably has more chicas with ample breasts than chicas with ample ass). The second massage, the lady told me to lay on my back (she also stayed in the room while I took off all my clothes). I laid on my back (most massage chicas tell you to lay on your stomach to start) , I covered my junk with a small towel, the chica removed the towel, the A / C was blowing directly on my junk. She got as close to my junk as possible without touching it. No freebies, no happy endings. The first massage chica climbed up on the table and used her forearms and bit of her elbows to massage my back.

Golds Gym is in Plaza Internacional, Moma Bar is in Plaza Internacional as well.

To me Sosua is more fun, but finding out for yourself is real fun.Good to hear back, Frannie. No I ain't complaining at all. Besides, water tastes sweeter after a draught. It was nice to have a taste of both places. Both are stimulating (pun intended) in their own ways.

Finding out all by yourself is even more fun as is learning about another culture including food. This of course means at times one has to take a chance including bearing with solitude and boredom but I can live with that. I took the bus and that too was nice offering me a glimpse into the land and people.

Not that I can wax about what's in my pants but in my college days, my stomach was flat, there was no wallet to speak of and I had a head full of hair. Somehow I still see myself that way in my mind's eye. The problem is that the girls see me the way you mentioned. Well. I am a f. Ing romantic. As the Singer manu chao sang: que voy hacer. Je ne sais plus.

I hope life is treating you well.

Anyone know the best options for getting to the Samana area from Santiago? I'm thinking about renting a car or taking a bus from Santiago.

Thanks

Is there a DR porn industry?Be very careful how 'vocally' you promote her porn ambitions. There have been some arrests recently of foreigners being accused of promoting immoral acts (just basic porn). As for reputable porn, if she's super stacked, you could try to contact score. If she's willing to do group sex, you can try contacting thehabibshow. Com as they have done some tours of the Dominican Republic in the past.

If all that doesn't work, you can PM me her contact details and I'm happy to make some videos with her.
