I'm in Aruba right now and knew one of the local here. Took me around and show me where you can find some good times (chicas). I am trying to be straight and to the point as I can be. What you need to do is drive around the alley by Charlie's bar and check out who you like, ask them how much, normally they tell you the price in Florin. $1US is about $1. 70 florin. So, if the girl is telling you $50 then it is only $30US. I've been reading guys paying $80-$100 that's way too much. Don't spoil them guys, they will expect that every time they see an American or tourist.

Last week when I was there at Boca Torena they told me in Panama she was not pregnant and she got std at the bar and had to leave I do not know what std would cause a women to bleed. When she got back to Palmira she started telling me it was to dangers to visit her at her home because of crime. I guess I would have back with somthing different type of std from her. Carolina faked a pregnancy test in palmira in March and she might have fake her blood tests going to smx in September one time she was braging how the girls know how too change the results of the hiv test and std tests. I'm planning to end this in year in Aruba and was wondering if there are any good strip clubs / bars in San Nicolas and Oranjestad? I googled around a bit and found Monaco bar, Las Vegas bar and Brooklin bar. What is the setup in these bars? Do these bars have adult entertainment (stripping / dancing) or are they only just pick up places for chicas?

The Bars / brothels are located mostly in St Nicolas. There are 3-4 chicas in most. They are pretty much on the main street with a few located off the strip. If I remember correctly Chesterfields has the biggest lineup. They are open at night only, and very reasonable, with rooms in the back or upstairs. You are expected to buy the chiacas a chica drink for which they get a coupon for cash later.
In the daytime, you have to drive down the alley behind the bars and find chica from the clubs in the doorways.
There are one or two open in the daytime. I remember Carolinas was open last time I was there.
You get more time in the afternoon.
Do not be bothered by guys hanging around offering to "watch" your car. They are harmless.
I would love to hear your report as the refinery was closed when i was there last and business and the chica supply was very moderate.

All the best to any of my fellow cruisers on the prowl! Yea, its not as cracked out as you imagine. The main determinant for you should be rental car or not. If no car then its a lot of trouble goin to St. Nic and you never know what the current class of imports contains. With a car however, you'd HAVE TO go and check it out. At least in the daylight anyway, if your nervous, for the pickings can be quite good and very safe (in fact you could bring one back to the hotel without ever getting out of your car). As for agencies, I've used a couple but I think not the 2 you listed (though the one named Yum on facebook sounds interesting. I'm not on facebook so if you could PM me the number / site I would appreciate it) and had generally good results but expensive but I think you know that already. Good luck.
Don't worry about San Nicolaas. It looks seedy and rundown and can make some people a bit apprehensive. But it is an easy and relatively safe place to explore on your own. Age doesn't matter at all. Many of us are in your age bracket and have no problems having a great time.

Cruise it during the day to get comfortable. At night, if you stay on the Main street you'll have about 20 clubs to cruise in perfect safety. Charlies Bar (non monger venue) is a big tourist attraction and is open fairly late, so there will be tourists and police in the area.
The police do regular patrols of all the streets and alleys. Unlike the US, they aren't looking to bust mongers. They are there to protect us. It works, it is safe enough, I have walked the back alleys at night, even the more remote and secluded areas, both alone and with a wingman and have never felt threatened. If any of the guys that are hanging out talk to you, it's usually to make sure you are having fun and have all the "supplies" you might need. Chat with them, swap a few jokes and all will be cool. Most of them have been there for years and once they get to know you, they will watch out for you and your car.
The agencies in Aruba are all pretty legit. I have tried a few of them. They deliver to your hotel, usually within the hour. In reality, they have drivers waiting in SN to get a girl from a bar. The girl, the bar, the driver and the agency all get paid. By you. A car is much cheaper, gives you control and gives you the freedom to really enjoy the wonderful island.
If you feel the need for a softer introduction, one of the services, I think Yap Yum, offers a red light tour. They take you in a limo and escort you to a few bars, wait for you and bring you home. It can be a good intro for a beginner. But you will be tagged as that rich guy in the limo for the rest of your trip, even when you go back on your own.
There is a fair chance that I will be there the same time as your trip. I'll know for sure in a few days. If so, I'll be happy to show you around.

If you need info for Colombia or Punta Cana I'm your guy. It the depends on the time your driving, normally 15 to 20 minutes from Palm Beach to Nicolas. The most beautiful girls are in Chesterfield if you like them looking like a model. But all the bars are close together you can easely walk from one to another and look at a lot of girls. 40 dollar buy's you half an hour. At this time it is very slow in Nicolas, you can get very good deals there now.

(I'the say you have your priorities reversed but then I'm not a diver. As far as diving in Aruba I have never heard anyone come here for that but again I'm not a diver. (That's news to me. There might be an enterprising guy running a little service as often happens on these small islands but I've never heard of it. Usually the agencies have their own girls and they will often send you more than one to choose from and usually its low key without much pressure.)

It's like you can't get a decent hotel near beach in Aruba for less than $150 a night without breakfast. I'm not sure where you are looking, but I did a quick kayak search for next week and found plenty of great deals. You can get The Mill for $81. It is across the street from the beach and in a very good location. Rooms are nice some with a full kitchen and all at least have a fridge and microwave. You can even get a room with a jacuzzi tub that fits two very nicely. Huge pool, good restaurant on property and several others very close by. I have stayed there many times and it is really nice and the staff is great. One of the nights they have a BBQ party with live music and a lot of locals show up, including plenty of tourist friendly non-pro girls. At this price, it is the deal of the island for sure!
I even saw the Holiday Inn Sunspree going for $132 which is a bargain. Large resort property on the beach, has a casino and is right in the prime area for restaurants, night, clubs and shopping. Very upscale and a true resort. One time I even managed to grab the Marriott on Priceline for $90. The deals are out there!
Others that could work would be Talk of the Town, Brickell Bay, Tropicana, and the Arubian. There are plenty more. Most will be within walking distance of the beach but will have nice pools and facilities on property as well.
Do some more searching and pick a few properties that interest you. Chances are that at least one of us have stayed there and we can give more specific advice.
As far as girl friendly. The only place it would be a problem would be a totally all inclusive property. There are only a couple of them, like RIU, and they are all well out of your budget and are a huge waste as there are fantastic restaurants all over the island. Any place else, including those that offer AI as an option, will be girl friendly. Or rather, girl blind. It won't even be noticed.
Be sure to rent a car. They are cheap and very handy, especially if you plan on going to San Nicolaas. (why else would you be here?) The island is easy to drive on and it is pretty much impossible to get lost for long. There really is not a bad or unsafe part of the island, so explore all you want.

It's like you can't get a decent hotel near beach in Aruba for less than $150 a night without breakfast. I used to buy "unsold" timeshares on Ebay (7 nights, weekend through next weekend) usually for under $400, sometimes for under $300 for a week (additional TS taxes will run you from $50 to$100 depending if it's a studio. 1Br or 2br.) Stayed at 2 different Divi hotels, Aruba beach club, Playa Linda, costa del mar. All are guest friendly (aka noone cares, and your guest will blend in very nicely since a lot of the guests are from s. America anyway.) Never had a problem with incalls from an agency or bringing chicas for a day. Those places aren't nearly as fancy as the big hotels go (but do have mini- or even full kitchens, WiFi, large rooms, some have jacuzzi.) Actually there's not much else to do other than beach and casinos anyway, but if you're posting on this board I don't think you'll be looking for the usual "family" fun.
The bus transportation is really 1st class, but Pogo is right: rent a car. My other suggestion is to read the hotel reviews on Tripadvisor before booking.

Cheers, PeffAsk anyone on the island how to get to Charlie's Bar. It is a straight tourist attraction. Chesterfields is across main st. I don't think it is open during the day but you can cruise the alley behind it and find the chicas hanging around out back. It is safe to walk the entire area including the inner back roads, especially during the day. Or cruise it in a rental car for drive-thru shopping.

If you take a girl out of the bar after closing or during the day, she is on her own time and there should not be a multa. During working hours, you'll have to pay a multa to take them out. It varies by bar and can be a bit expesive.

You should be able to find it in the Bogota sections of ISG, but anyway, just put a www In front and a com at the end of the name, and you have their whole menu at hand. Ages indicated there are probably outdated, but as far as I have seen, pics are real. It's a convenient & safe location in the North. Always taxis available within a minute on the highway afterwards.
Entrance is on the South side of the building (not on the East facing the Autopista) , the door is a fairly anonymous one on the left (sometimes there is a guy on guard outside, just give him a friendly nod). You walk up the stairs, and when the next door opens you are greeted by the chica whose turn is up. At least some of them speak English, you may want to use the lack of language skills as an excuse to pick another girl if you are not happy with the first one.
They have a couple of "suites" upstairs that the girls only mention if they want you back for a more elaborate session. Nice beds that allow for safer acrobatics than the massage bed in their standard rooms.
Services start at 35k COP for a HJ ("4-handed service" on promotion for same) and go up to 250k for the upstairs w / FS.

Appreciate all responses. I just spent a week in Aruba over the Memorial day weekend and here are my observations:
First, I've been to Aruba about half a dozen times over the years but this time was the first in about 8 years, and man have things changed! Palm Beach has much more happening these days than it ever did before, made it very hard to even want to go over to San Nic. I went over to San Nic 3 times during the 6 days I was there and all of them during the daytime, so I can't report on what the action was like at night. The 2 or 3 streets right there by Charlies bar is the only place where the putas are, period. But those streets were very safe, I saw the cops come thru on patrol about once every 20-30 minutes or so. The girls mostly did not wander the street instead they stood in the doorway to their apt. And waited for you to come to them, even when I was driving down the streets / alleys the girls would not venture away from their doorway I always had to stop the rental car, get out and walk over to them, kinda odd but thats the way things were.
Second, the going rate seemed to be $30-40US for 30 minutes or $50-60US for an hour, I translated that to mean 30 minutes = 1 nut, an hour meant 2 nuts. I always took the 30 minute deal not wanting to get into an argument over how much time was left.
Third, the girls were stunners! Mostly from Columbia and Venezuela. Nice young perfect little bodies and good performers. An important note: the girls were very clean. I've read that they get weekly checkups and they must also get instruction on good hygiene. They all went thru the same routine before sex, they washed their face, then the pussy and then they washed their hands. All the girls had the same routine.
Last, I mostly go to the Dominican Republic for mongering so here is my comparison, San Nic is not at all like Sosua. There are no outdoor bars with loud music playing and lots of putas running around, no ex pats or tourist guys sitting around drinking (except for the few in Charlies) and playing with the putas, nothing even close to a Classicos. Its all very sanitized, you see a girl in her doorway, you pay her, you screw, then you leave, thats it. This area is not near the beach and there is really nothing else going on in San Nic so I always headed back to the tourist area of Palm Beach to hit the casinos. And I ran into no putas outside of San Nic.

Helpmann. What are the rates please? Just for us curious people, St, Lt, TLN, How about the casa rates? Do the accept $? Or Dutch Aruba Dollars? Or How does that work? Actually, I had a FF award ticket booked on United, but United cancelled the flight and drastically cut back their schedule, and wouldn't re-book me within a few days on either side of my cancelled booking.

BBBJ on the menu and for how much? #1 You can do without a car, but I still recommend one. It will allow you to explore the island a lot more. It is a very easy island to drive around. There really are not any "bad" areas so explore any neighborhood that catches your eye. You can get to SN buy bus but it takes quite a while and I am not sure how late it runs. Taxis to and from SN are expensive. $20-25 each way. A car will cost less than $30 a day. Plus you get the drive thru chica experience.
#2 Absolutely DO NOT stay in an all inclusive. Aruba has too many interesting places to eat at all price levels. Even eating a few expensive meals, it will still be cheaper than an AI. Try El Gaucho for an awesome steak, The Flying Fishbone in Saveneta for good seafood with your feet quite literally in the water (very romantic) or the little rooftop Paradilla above Club Monaco in SN. A rental car is so handy!
#3 You can usually count on finding an off beach property like Talk of the Town, Brickell Bay or the Mill for around $100 a nite. With Priceline, anything is possible. I have had the Marriott for $65 and the Holiday Inn for $50.
#4 I have had some of the best service on Aruba and I have had some of the worst. You never really know until it's over, but if you speak a little Spanish and can make a connection with a chica then anything is possible. BBBJ sometimes yes, sometimes no. I have never negotiated a different price for the service. In general I will not negotiate unless they are asking considerably above the going rates. For the amount I spend to get there, another few dollars won't hurt me and it makes the chica happy. Happy chica = happy monger.

Kind RegardsRates during the evening when the bars are open are $40-50 for approx 20 minutes. Often you'll have to buy a drink, a lady drink and a key charge. The drinks are a couple bucks each and the key is $5-10. It is easy to drop over $20 before you get to the room. During the day when driving thru the alleys, everything is negotiable but usually $30-40 without as much clock watching. They are on their own time so it is all up to them. I have had a great time at my hotel from an afternoon pick-up for the price of dinner. She wanted KFC! Daytime mongering is the best in SN. TLN varies with each bar and each chica. You'll end up paying around $300 total, maybe a bit more or less.
The entire island uses US dollars, but Florins are also accepted. You get a slight break using Florins. Afternoon rates are usually 50NFL which comes to $27 US. But just about every other business on the island prefers dollars. I believe there is talk in Parliament to just make the US Dollar the official currency. There is the same talk going on in SXM on the Dutch side. The French like their Euros (but all will take USD)

* Food can be found at a fair price (Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, Taco Bell, Hooters, Pizza Hut)
* Hotels are expensive (US$100 minimum)
* Service was good to very good; professional, but in a friendly, pleasing way (Four women, No complaints)
* Two of the Four women performed BBBJ (one of the two performed BBBJCIM)
* I paid US$50 (I'm pretty sure that I overpaid by 40-70%; a trusted local told me the price was 50 Florin NOT 50 USD)
* Most businesses on the island accept both USD or Florin (Guilders)

The women are independent in the morning/afternoon, but many work in a bar/club in the evenings; therefore, a bar fine must be paid). These girls are professionals in the best sense of the word, because they work to please.
Due to the price of airfare and hotel, Aruba may not be more economical than Colombia or the Dominican Republic; however, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the women, the friendly people, beautiful beaches, the variety of eating options, and how safe the island was. No bars on windows, no men with sawed off shot-guns, and few police. I could drink the water from the tap, walk down the street to watch the game at Hooters, then grab a burger at Wendy's two blocks down the street, and finish it off with a 30 minute drive to San Nicholas for a US$50 fuck with a big breasted girl from Cali. For many reasons, Aruba has a cruise ship like feel, where everything can be easily obtained and enjoyed with little complication. My only real complaint is that Aruba is not for really for single male travelers, it is for couples, families, and groups. Nevertheless, if you want to sneak away from the wife, go "fishing".

I believe DAE flies to Cartagena from Aruba. You may also want to check Insel Air and Tiara Airlines. Nevertheless, you still may be better off with Avianca, regardless of the bad flight times.

On the main drag of joints (sort of the last street, around the corner from carolina's bar) there is a nice paisa. First off, general thoughts.
Allow me to me clear something up, there is no serious advantage to using Gilders Florin as opposed to USA dollars. That applies everywhere on the island and the girls are no exception. These people are not stupid, they won't take 70 cents for something that costs a dollar. Would you? Expect asking price to be 50 USD or 80 Florin most places, generally they will come down to 40 USD or 60-70 Florin. There is no magic, no illusion that 50 Florin is the same as 50 dollars.
The girls start at 40 or 50, will generally come down 10. Some want to haggle about extras, others just provide them and expect a fair tip.
You have two options and two options only in the P4P scene. Either you call an escort service or you go to San Nicolas. Services do not have photos or web sites so you could waste time there. You will be waiting around longer than it will take to drive to SN and you will have lots of options there. Price is about the same, you just wind up buying more time with the services.
Arriving at San Nic, don't follow the signs, they will confuse the shit out of you. Just take highway 1A through downtown and on down, go to the oil refinery, dip into the Valero station, take a right onto the street alongside it, drive along the wall, turn left, bang, you're there. All the action is in one place, girls in the street and lots of bars. Some bars are only open certain days, there was one that only operated Wednesday and Saturday. That seems peculiar given that these girls are on three-month visas, but whatever, I am sure they don't lose time.
The girls here are predominantly Colombians. There are some Venezuelans and the odd girl from the islands, though most of the black girls there are Calena or Costena (Colombians again). If you have been to Colombian, you may find this a bit disappointing. These girls are older on average (I'd say 25 to 38) , they all have kids and while there are some fun attitudes they are obviously not fucking around and wasting time, they want to carry some ca$h back home.
That said, services are all there to be had. Anal can be had for anywhere between $10 and $40 extra, some ask for more (one asked another patron for $200 hahahahahahahaha) but that seems outside the norm. Some GFE type stuff available but honestly in that setting I'm not sure that's an accurate description. It's like Tijuana, you just take them back in the greasy little room and get down to business.
The better looking girls you have to negotiate every little thing, BBBJ, anal, etc, any extras, do it up front basically. The next step down, they are pretty permissive and will not trouble you with that kind of bullshit, maybe just a friendly reminder for a tip at some point.
Overall, I'd say if you are in Aruba for other reasons, sure, go ahead and shoot down to San Nic to get it in right quick. The girls are not really the quality that you'd tow around the island with you and most of them are probably not all that interested in that. Just smash and dash at an OK price, although for what you'll pay out of pocket for a half hour with a Colombiana here would probably get you three hours with three different girls in their country and ones that were more attractive, younger and without kids.
The island itself is beautiful of course, PM me if you'd like some recs on stuff to do apart from mongering. Pleasant place for a family trip or a getaway with friends and the action is there to be had, but do not recommend strictly for mongering.

While preparing for my upcoming trip to Aruba I found a really cool video showing how to get to the new Hollywood Smokehouse in San Nic. I have seen the Hollywood bar but it was always closed. It looks like they are now an authentic BBQ joint specializing North Carolina and Texas styles. Now married mongers have an excuse to drive there with the ball and chain and at least check out the fun areas. It also looks like it might be a good place to grab a bite and re-energize for those of us that go there for some serious physical activities. I am a BBQ fanatic so I will give them a try and report on it. But for now I am still partial to the little rooftop Paradilla above Club Monaco.

Besides this video being an exceptionally effective marketing concept, it gives very explicit directions to the area of our interest. As he turns onto Main St you'll see the Caribbean Bar on the left. The first block past Charlies Bar is all brothels on the right side of the road. The last couple blocks have casas on both sides. After the video makes the left turn at the unfinished hotel you get a glimpse of a snack shack on the left. Turn left at that shack and you'll get the full drive-tru experience in the afternoon as all the chicas hang out at the back doors of the clubs. Then just explore every little road and alley in that area to find all of the hidden casas. Don't worry, it is safe. Especially if you go during the day. It is good to do one daylight exploration to get your bearings before going at night.
After that video is done, look at the other videos available. You'll see another one titled "Driving thru San Nicolas" It is basically the same route without the commentary. They might be. BUT, there is always the escort services. Overall my experience has been positive with these at a slightly higher cost per hour than San Nich without the long drive.Actually when you really think about it the escort services may be a better deal than SN, especially at night. The escort services are around $100 for a full hour. In SN, many bars enforce a 20 minute rule when they are open and the price is $40. (During the day, the girls are on their own time so there is no clock watching.)
There are nights when I am worn out from work and just want to stay in my room and order a pizza and a chica for delivery. I have used the services a couple of times and was always quite satisfied with the quality of the chicas. You'll usually get an escort in less time that it takes to drive to SN. Gene at Yap Yum is probably the most reliable. He has been there forever and always delivers fine quality. He sent Venezuelan girls a couple times that were outstanding!

Got into Aruba in the late afternoon and headed out to do a little grocery shopping but my car seemed to have other ideas and took me to SN instead. I have no idea how that happens but it seems to be that way every time I am in the Dutch islands. The cars just seem to go to the action by themselves. So who am I to argue with a car?
SN on Sundays is very hit or miss. I cruised around the alleys as usual to scope things out. A few minor changes. Bars that have new names and things like that. But the biggest disappointment came when I got hungry. I wanted to go to the Paridilla on top of Club Monaco but it seems that there has been a major fire that destroyed the building. So Club Monaco and the wonderful Paridilla are gone.
There were a lot of locals in the alleys. More so than usual. I think they were all at one bar watching a game or something because it was a party atmosphere with a lot of cheering.
The girls working the alleys were not all that impressive. They mostly seemed a bit rough around the edges. Older, bad complexions etc. I decided to try a new bar next to RonYMenta called the Anaconda. It is upstairs with no ground floor presence other than a stairway.
When I went in there was no one in the bar but the bartender. I had a coke and was about to leave when a chica came in fresh from a shower. She was fairly pretty, good complexion and in her red dress seemed just a touch on the thick side. But she was the best I had seen and the little stick seemed to like her so off to her room we went. Her name is Marianna.

At a minimum, the bar experience will set you back at least another $20.
Aruba ranks #3 for the Dutch islands for a good mongering scene. I like SXM and Curacao much better for mongering, but Aruba was my first mongering experience in the islands so it will always be a favorite of mine. I'll be here a couple more days and of course I will play as often as I can and then I head to Curacao. Campo is probably my favorite place on the planet so I am really looking forward to being there.

As far as the quality of girls, you have to go at night to have a true assessment of quality and you have to walk around since some girls stay mostly by their rooms. For me, Campo is not just about the chicas. I think that what I really like about Campo is the general atmosphere. It is mellow and peaceful. I love sitting on the porch around sunset and just relaxing. Then you get to watch the camp slowly come alive. It beats running to 7 different clubs in SXM or 30 clubs in AUA to see the selection. At Campo you can cruise the entire camp at you leisure with out the intense hustle you get at clubs on the other islands. If you can't find something that suits your taste among 100-150 chicas then you are blind or a lot pickier than me. I always find someone that I can have fun with. My ATF was found at Campo.
I agree that the selection in SXM is much better as it is the only place that really gets a fair amount of tourist trade and they staff to attract that market. Aruba right now has a pretty rough selection. I think it is because of the set up in old decrepit buildings with a huge refinery next door. It is not a pleasant of a place to work as the other islands and the top quality chicas really would prefer to be elsewhere.
Most of the chicas I talk to in SXM or AUA really like going to Campo because their quality of life is good compared to the others. San Nicolaas is a dump. Some of the clubs in SXM have no A / C, no hot water and no showerheads. They also may have to share a room and a bed with another chica. That may be fine for working, but if my job entailed sharing my bed with a dozen strangers a night I would sure want to sleep alone and not have to share my bed for sleeping as well. I would want a hot shower, a cool room and an empty bed.
Each island has it's own flavor of mongering and attracts a different demographic. Fortunately I am old, fat and ugly enough that even the skankiest at Campo are still younger, thinner and better looking than me. So I can't complain.

I finally got a chance to get back to SN today. It was later in the afternoon. Chicas were all over the place. I spent quite a while cruising the alleys trying to find someone worth spending some time with but the selection was really poor. If they had a cute face they had a flabby body. If they had a decent body the face was tired, pockmarked or just not all that cute.
There were a couple that were OK and one in a tight white dress that was pretty darn good looking. But every time I passed by her she was talking with a guy. Does anyone have any current info on activities over there? I was in Aruba during the same time last year and I went over to San Nicols a couple of times but only during the day and I was not impressed, this time I am going to try and go at night since I've been told that that is the best time to go.

Aruba is a part of the "ABC Islands" just off the northern coast of South America. We knew that there would be many things to do there and getting laid would be fun and easy. *Here are some "take-aways" from the trip.

7. Aruba has good tourist developments and luxury living / goods, as well as good infrastructure.
8. No Legality Issues, and there are no shakedowns from corrupt police.
9. Medical testing and education is mandated by the government.

12. Other nightlife for a better than avg chance of getting non-pro action.

In Aruba and Curacao, expats can own land with no problem. I am not sure of visa or residency technicalities, but it isn't too bad for retirees. Or you can come as a tourist and just leave the country every few months. I believe a trip to Curacao counts for Aruba and vice versa. Curacao, St Maarten and Aruba are all separate countries.
Curacao is an air hub with direct flights to just about every mongering destination in the Caribbean, Central and South America. Aruba is more modern and more familiar to Americans than Curacao.

Or you can come as a tourist and just leave the country every few months. I believe a trip to Curacao counts for Aruba and vice versa. Curacao, St Maarten and Aruba are all separate countries.
Curacao is an air hub with direct flights to just about every mongering destination in the Caribbean, Central and South America. Aruba is more modern and more familiar to Americans than Curacao.

Thanks a bunchIt is possible, and safe. The rooms are very simple but generally clean; but to relax and enjoy a night together, you will need to consider taking one ToGo or calling an escort service. Some rooms in NL Boystown are nicer than in Aruba, others are not. Kind of like Boystown "sin cucarachas." The bars are safe, except you can get hassled on the streets by locals looking for handouts.
English is common in Aruba, but you need some Spanish skills to negociate SN effectively.

Personally, I think Aruba is a waste of time if your main goal is to monger. There are way better islands for this other than Aruba. You mostly have a few square block area in San Nic where the girls are and thats it. Practically no mongering opportunities at all in Oranj. Or Palm Beach areas. Just back from one week in Aruba.
All reports here are very accurate. Aruba is just average in terms of mongering. Definitely not a mongering destination if that's your mission, as compared to SXM.
The chica houses are about a 40 minute drive from the hotel strip. Although I like driving, this definitely took it's toll after a few trips. Gas, time etc.
As described, it's basically 2 alleys each about 4 blocks long where the chicas hang out, in the door way to their abode, and one main strip of bodegas, about 2 blocks long, with roughly 8 clubs in total.
Each club had about 4. 5 girls working, and maybe 2-3 patrons.
If you get the chicas outside the club (in the alley) , it was 30 for full service! Nice change from what I've gotten used to dishing out.
However, the girls are about a 6, with a few 7s and 8s. In total I'd say there were about 30 girls in total that I saw, but only about 15 of them hanging in the alley, and maybe 3 or 4 of what I'd rate as 8s.

Well as much as I hate to say it. San Nicolaas really sucked. The town is really falling apart fast and the selection of chicas was pretty poor. All of them seem to be on a bad diet as they all had that kind of pasty, Pillsbury Doughboy look. I did go with one chica that had a pretty face, but wasn't all that great to look at without clothes. It's about one block down the first alley to the left of Main St. There very well could be others, but SN is really a game of hunt and search. It is not the convenience of having many chicas in one place like the casas in SXM or at Campo.
For sure you do not want to miss the Jouvert Morning Pajamas Parade in San Nicolasat4:00 a. M Saturday February 9. Curacao is only a 30 minute flight and should cost under $200 R / T. I got lucky on this trip and scored a super deal on DAE. $13 fare plus taxes. Total cost was $27 from AUA-CUR and $41 from CUR-SXM. In both cases the taxes were more than the fare. But do not make any plans that require tight timing. DAE, Tiara Air and Insel are all notorious for delayed or cancelled flights. They almost cancelled my CUR-SXM trip as there were not a lot of passengers but they decided to use an ATR42 turboprop instead on the jet. It left 2. 5 hours late and the smaller plane added an extra hour to the flight. Oh well, this is typical of the island airlines.

I remember once a flight of mine from Curacao to Bonaire was just flat out cancelled. And when that happens, they do not give you a refund. What they say is that your ticket is good for the same flight for one year. There are two airlines that routinely make the flights, DAE is the worst. I don't remember the other one. I ended up just buying another plane ticket on the other carrier. Luckily, the tickets are cheap enough that the damage isn't bad, usually about $50.
If you plan to make a last minute inter-island hop, never buy the ticket online. If you call the central 1800 number, they will always say that the flight is a go. Call the airport and verify that the flight exists a few hours before. The last thing you want to do is to check out of your hotel, only to find that the flight is cancelled. What they do is count the number of tickets sold, and decide whether the flight is worth doing. From what I gathered, most of the airlines have three flights a day; One in the early morning, like 7 am, the other at 1 am, and usually another at 7 pm Interestingly, the one at 1 p. M, which you would think is the most useful and popular, is usually the one cancelled. The early am flight is the most reliable.

I never thought there would be that much action in Aruba during Carnival. Thought I would have to take a short trip to Campo. But that was NOT the case. I have been going to Aruba for many years and the action at the red light district in San Nicholas is fun. I don't recommend Sun or Monday as girls take the day off and most bars are closed or close early. From the down town I take the bus to San Nicholas and get off at the main bus station. From there I walk to my right and take the street that forks to the left and walk a short way to Charles Bar, use the rest room have a shot of captains rum and a coke chaser. From there I walk straight across the street to Carolinas Bar on the left. Its a cute little place with a juke box and the girls are friendly and not pushy. They usually have 3-4 girls working from Columbia. I have a drink and chat with the one I like. Latter I pay the bartender 5$us and we go to her room down a hall at the back of the bar. Its been 50-50 if they will do BBBJCIM or covered and FS covered any position. When we're done I usually give between 30-50$us depending on the service. It will be interesting to see what it is like after the planned renovation / restoration project that has been planned. It will open the town to more tourism. I just hope they still incorporate the brothels and don't get rid of them.

I didn't know about the new owner. Old biatch wanted $250 multa for 24 hours. Compared to my previous trips there's a much larger number of "doable" girls. Holiday inn is actually pretty good if you want TLN. It is so busy no one will notice.
Stay away from the low-rise area because the hotels are much smaller and you will be noticed.

PogoI do plan to go there also, but was curious to know the scene if I happen to find a willing TLN and / or couple of days "gem". Went to Curacao last year, and Campo. Looking for something that allows me to relax on the beach outside my hotel as well as long morning walks on the beach. Curacao did not offer that and you had to basically drive somewhere if you wanted to visit one of the Bocas. I remember one in particular south of the tourist area. Drove 30 minutes to get there, thru incredible traffic. Upon arrival, I found a rock and pebble beach with an oil pumping platform under construction in the middle of the beautiful bay. Seriously considered SMX, but the award connections were far better / convenient for me to AUA and then, especially, onward to Medellin the week after. Thanks for the feedback.

There are dozens of them within just a few blocks of the Holiday Inn. That part of the high rise area is hopping at night. You'll have a blast!

PogoMy research leads me to believe the same with respect to excellent places to eat nearby. Is it true what I have heard from others, not on this site, that it is not unusual to find Colombiana's wandering around the bars and casinos; those not interested in working the SN scene? Maybe not a good plan to count on them being there, but not unusual either.

Definitely agreed on the safety. I parked my rental car and inadvertently left the the front windows rolled down (I was feeling, um, forgetful). Nothing happened at all, some guy was there when I got back and discovered and he just laughed. Some of the characters there look seedy but they are not motivated to jack you apart from maybe an overpriced bag of herb. I met one guy who fancied himself kind of tough but his friends just laughed at him, and this was not in the RLD, it was up by the casinos.
I wish I would have taken better note of the names of casas but they all seemed to be similar and just a guess and check sort of deal. Pricing and accommodations were very similar in the four I went to, just a matter of your taste in the ladies.

I agree on San Nicolas although the area doesn't offer a lot to do while you're waiting around.
