About safety: it most definitely is safe. I know of people parking their bikes there and leaving the keys in. Thanks Ricardo for the offer, but only regular member here, so cannot.You have many excellent restaurants to choose from near the hotels Holiday Inn, Occidental, Brickel Bay and others. Benihanas, Texas de Brazil, and in the Marriott Stellaris is Ruth Criss Steakhouse. All are great and would highly recommend them for dinner. There is some decent nightlife in this same area, but do not expect to find any pay for play. I actually have never came across any in these bars in this area, and I have been to Aruba probably over 15 times, and I like to party, so I am always out and about. My recommendation for a hotel is the Marriott Stellaris. I have seen it rated as the best hotel in Aruba, and I have never been disappointed. Along with the Ruth Criss Steakhouse on the property, it has the largest casino in Aruba, and part of the hotel is adults only. The beach at the hotel is also fantastic. You can find some good deals sometimes on travel search engine websites such as Kayak, Expedia, Priceline, and also Jet Blue has had this hotel listed at a good price in there vacation packages.
Aruba is not really a place to go in search of beautiful women, but a destination for couples. If you happen to find someone to take out for dinner, I would very highly recommend "The Flying Fishbone" Restaurant. I put that on my must do list anytime I travel to Aruba. You might also want to take the drive to Baby Beach, as it is a nice little drive, and is an excellent beach. There are a couple of areas that are very close to Baby Beach where you can turn off and have your own private beach for the most part.

Thanks again Ricardo for the information. Will be there with friends but I will have time to get away to SN to playtime. Always check out TripAdvisor for info too. Have a car for the couple weeks so will make a few trips to SN when time is right. Staying at an apartment over east of Eagle Beach that is quiet and cheap.

The island is only about 15 miles long, but timing traffic is everything given that you will have to venture through Oranjasted to get to SN. I like the flexibility of a rental car, but cannot comment on the bus schedule or taxi although either will get you to and from.

I was told that all "vitamin" V, C and L-like items are only by prescription. Stabilo, perhaps you'll have better luck in other pharmacies, but even there I would expect to pay fairly high prices.

So I just did a drive through San Nicolas, on this Sunday night. Of course on Sunday the selection is always the smallest (since some bars are closed down) but man. Much better selection and experience and much better Todo La Dia opportunities in AUA though overall more expensive. Some gems in SN to be found but you need to put in some time. Escorts are exceptional 85 percent of the time.

Thanks for the help.Simple. Exit the airport and turn right. Follow the signs to San Nicolas and Charlies Bar. (tourist trap) Charlies is on Main St. It's one way. Toward the far end you may see some chicas on the street in front of the clubs. At the end, turn left and turn left again at the next street. More of an alley. There will be plenty of chicas hanging out by the back doors of clubs. Some clubs may be open but you'll have to buy drinks and pay a room charge. Clubs that are not open yet will have chicas at the back door. No bar fine, no drinks and no clock watching but the same chicas as later when they open. There are no real free lancers in SN. Cruise all of the little alleys and side streets, chicas are everywhere. See one you like, stop and chat. If you decide you want her, she will show you where to park and take you to her room.
You can find maps and explicit directions here on the forum. Read deep and check the RODs. You can also find maps online or get a hard copy from the rental company. Ask the rental agent for directions. If it is male, feel free to tell him what you are looking for. If female, ask directions to Charlies Bar.

Guidance please.I've never been to Rio, but I've done a lot of "research" about it, and I think there's a strong possibility (just that. A possibility, not a certainty) that you will be severely disappointed by the quality and quantity (or lack thereof) in San Nicolas vs Rio. You certainly won't find "luxury" in San Nic.

Just back from AUA and had a pretty good time. First let me say thanks to Cursnoop and Pogostick for the helpful info they provided. Overall, the trip was good but not spectacular. The pickings were slim, but there were a few gems hanging around. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in the popular high rise hotel area which is a good location next to a shopping mall and within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. More specifically, I stayed in the Sea Tower which is away from the main lobby building. If you stay at the Holiday Inn and are conscience about being seen with any chicas, the tower has a side door near the gym where you can bring in your guest discretely and remain mostly out of sight. However, I don't think any of the staff cares either way as lots of guests constantly walk in and out of the hotel.
I rented a car to get around and I think it's the best way to get to San Nich if you plan on going multiple times from the high-rise area. The drive is about 30 minutes or more depending on traffic which there always seems to be. Lots of slow drivers which make the trip quite a pain. You take Route 1 A south till you get to town. Confusing at first to find the area where the chicas are, but find Charlie's Bar and then use that as a reference point to find your way around. When you exit Charlie's, make a right and walked down a couple of blocks and you'll find Roxy's and G-Spot next to each other on the left side of the road. You'll also see other bars the next street over in each direction from those two.
As mentioned in other posts, Roxy and G-Spot had the best talent and I had my best experience with Marcela from Cali. I believe she was in Roxy's. Very hot and a total GFE! However, that experience was the exception rather than the rule. I also found Camilla from Colombia in Honey Zone Bar. Nothing to write back home about in the looks category but nevertheless provided a superior experience. Honey Zone had more girls (about 5) than the other bars but the talent wasn't on par with the two mentioned above. Anyhow, most girls in San Nich provided a fairly mechanical experience with the Domincan girls providing the most lackluster performances. That's funny! It seemed like they were much more enthusiastic in Sosua? Prices were the same as mentioned in other posts.
Anywho, some have mentioned that San Nich is a "seedy" or "unsafe" place. Why, I didn't get that feeling at all while walking up and down each block solo day and night alike. No one bothered me except for the chicas whistling and calling as I walked by. I was rather fine with that. But one bum stumbling around who can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, several vacant buildings, and a few teen hipsters playing loud music from their car but minding their own business doesn't quite qualify for me. Aside from that, I do think it's better to go into the bars to help establish a rapport with a girl you like rather than do a drive-by and pick-up from your car. My two best experience came from going inside and mingling. To the best of my espanol that is. I will also say that in these bars there is only 1 or 2 customers and there is a lack of energy inside. It can seem rather drab with no girls dancing, stripping, or doing anything else entertaining.
In closing, and as I said earlier I had a good time overall in AUA. The beautiful beaches, outdoor tour operators, and the ability to transition from legitimate bars and clubs to San Nich made it a well-rounded trip. Would I go back? Probably not. The long ride back and forth from the high-rises to San Nich, the lack quality / quantity among chicas, and the dull mood inside the bars makes this a one shot deal for me. " I have now idea about San Nic, except what I see and what I've experienced.
During the day San Nic probably is a safe place. I almost always visit at night, often after midnight. A few years ago my parked rental car got side-swiped by another car. No major dents, but heavy scratches. Luckily there were other scratches from before, marked on the rental agreement. The rental agent knew that this was new damage, but couldn't do anything.

I'm considering making my first trip to Aruba in August. I've read the forum back to 2013 figuring anything beyond that time might be too dated to be of use. The bars were there to serve / service the oil refinery workers (including a large number of foreign workers.) After the refinery was mothballed, 95% of the business for the bars disappeared, and most bars closed. What's left is maybe 20% of what it used to be.
Actually, first the refinery management prohibited workers from drinking during the lunch hour and tested them for alcohol during the day. That killed most of daytime business. Then the workers simply left and SN scene became what it is now.

You must have seen the oil refinery that's jsut across the street from the bars. The bars were there to serve / service the oil refinery workers (including a large number of foreign workers.) After the refinery was mothballed, 95% of the business for the bars disappeared, and most bars closed. What's left is maybe 20% of what it used to be.

I've noticed a bar on the right down from Charlie's called the Gentleman's Club. There's usually 2-3 girls standing outside. Is this a strip club or a brothel or both? Pogo.Brickell Bay is alright, but a place I would not stay in again. I stayed there a couple of times and Wifi was a problem. It is an older property, but is in a great location with many bars and restaurants in walking distance. I now stay at the Marriott Stellaris which I consider the best property in Palm Beach, but it is also very expensive. Great restaurants are located around Brickell Bay, Texas de Brazil and Benihanas are two that are within walking distance, and in the ground floor level of the Marriott Stellaris is a Ruth Criss. Also the Stellaris has the largest casino on the island if I am not mistaken. Of all the times I have been in the bars and casinos in Palm Beach I have yet to see a working girl, and I am a party guy so I am in the bars / nightclubs every night I am in Aruba.
One bit of advice I would like to add, is I would definitely reserve a car, and do not wait until you are there to reserve it, as you might find yourself out of luck, as many times no cars can be found as they are all rented out.

The services do provide constantly good quality. Every one I tried sent beautiful, personable, and accommodating young ladies; usually from Venezuela. It was several years ago, and back then it wasn't too bad of a deal: $100 plus tip. I found it good for when I was too tired to go out and wanted a sure thing. That is the reliability factor that you are paying extra for.
I still prefer to go hunting in SN. The overall quality is not as good, but gems can be found if you're patient. I like the option to choose, and am usually willing to sacrifice a bit on looks if I can develop a good rapport with the chica. It usually leads to a good session. And if it isn't that great of a session, I still have two more tries for the same money as a service. Plus, I like to hunt during the day when the chicas are on their own time and often get an entire afternoon in their room for the price of a quicky at night.

Make a rental reservation online for one of the companies at the airport. Due to lot access and airport fees they are a dollar or two more than others in town, but the ability to walk out of the airport to a waiting car and dropping it there when you leave is more than worth the few extra dollars, especially on a tight schedule. Once you've made your reservation you can always check out the other kiosks for a better deal. It doesn't happen often but you never know.
Unless a hotel is 100% all-inclusive, you will never have a problem bringing in a guest. There are a couple places, really only a couple, that have key-card access to elevators or buildings making it slightly more difficult for an escort to arrive straight to the room. But the service will know the policies of each place and will guide you if needed. So in reality, you won't have any problems.

If you use their credit card to rent hotels with a mobile device you get a total of 10% back towards future hotel use. I've had about $1,500 of free hotel stays this and last year. And any other purchase is 2%. But, the limit they gave me is way lower that my other credit cards, but enough. And their interest rate is way higher, but I just pay it off before they charge me interest.

Mel.You can take a bus from the Hilton for about $2.35 to the bus station down town and then take a bus to st Nicholas another $2.35. It's also a fun way to tour the island. The buses back run about every 90 minutes. The last bus is at 11 pm and meets the the last bus to the hotels at 12:40. From the bus station in st Nicholas walk to your right and then take the street that bears to the left. Chesterfields bar is down on your left Charlies bar as a reference is a few blocks on your right and g spot bar at the end of the street on your left. Then walk left around back and up the street. I got to Aruba on Tuesday. After leaving the airport I drove straight to SN to see what's there. It was day, so the bars were closed, but the alleys were full of nice looking girls. That first day I spotted several that looked pretty fine, but I needed rest and meds so I didn't feel up to picking one up. I went straight to the hotel.
The next day I went back ready for action. I cruised the alleys again and this time the pickings were pretty slim. I drove for quite a while and eventually had to settle. I found a woman named Anna from Columbia. Not the one in the recent posts. She has a decent body, nice butt but pretty saggy breasts. It was hard to see that before she got naked. We negotiated 50 FL, she offered up her Culo for 30 more. She got me in her room, got naked, and started flipping out about my size. She was laughing and saying "necesito mas crema". She actually went to her obviously younger sister's room to get crema and brought her sister back to show her my dick. I immediately wished I had met her sister first. Yesterday I went back to SN, this time in the evening. It was about 7 PM, so it was probably a little early for the action there. I really wanted to get back to the hotels in time to watch the baseball game, so I was on a schedule. BTW, if you're looking for a good spot to watch games in Aruba, the Hooters by the Hilton is the spot. Great TV and beautiful butts to gaze at during the commercials.
I drove the streets and alleys for a while trying to figure out where to go. Charlie's bar had been wide open when I went in the day before, but it was all closed up. Some of the other bars said they were open but there was no way to tell what was going on without going in. A few bars had some nice looking honeys hanging outside so I focused on those. There's one place, The Honey Spot, off the alley that had tons of activity. That place had a bunch of really sketchy dudes hanging out, a crowd really, and it was just too scary for me to try. Eventually I noticed three really attractive young women sitting outside a bar called Latin Passions Cabernet. It's on the street closest to the refinery. The bar itself is really close to the refinery entrance. I felt a little better about this place because there's tons of parking right across the street and there was nobody else on the street but three chicas.
I spotted a very beautiful and young flaca in a red macrome dress. I immediately walked up and asked her inside for a drink. My Spanish is pretty limited but I managed a little conversation, quickly moved to negotiation, paid the bar fine of 10 FL, and headed upstairs. Her name is Andrea and she is from Cali. Again I wished I could speak Spanish better because she was really sweet and wanted to spend more time with me than I had to spend. Medium sized natural breasts, very thin but with a beautiful large Latina butt. Not rushed at all. Spent lots of time oral, then took me back and forth through as many positions as I wanted. At one point I was really drilling her in mish and I wanted to switch and she was like "no, keep doing this for a while". She really seemed like she was enjoying it. Not much fun for me if we can't talk though.
Last thing I will say is that, while I enjoyed mongering in Panama City and Aruba, neither is as good as Tijuana. Tijuana is much closer, cheaper, and higher quality on average. You can find lots of tens down here in PC or SN, but it's not really worth the extra plane fare if you're just going mongering.

I've wandered through Amsterdam, Rio, Bogota, Germany, and NYC, and have no problem with foot power. Also. Not sure what the take out structure is. Are chicas free during the day? Are there bar fines at night? Seems from what I've read that they may or may not live in the bar, but in rooms nearby. I have a Colombian friend that has told me she's in Aruba and I'm considering visiting the island to hook up with her. She hates her room, says it's ugly, and may end up returning to Ibague, so I need to strike while the iron is hot. You can certainly walk around SN "red light" area, it's not very large. The issue for me is safety, especially at night. A few months ago I've posted a couple of links to youtube videos of the locals cruising the "red light" area in SN. Take a look and decide if it's safe or not. My opinion is that the "main" road is probably safe, even at night, but the parallel streets where most chicas work are very "sketchy", especially at night: run down and abandoned buildings, junkies / panhandlers, and groups of "youths" congregating on certain corners.
Most chicas' rooms are indeed ugly. As bad as the worst rooms in SXM. Takeouts (multa) at night are typically more expensive than SXM. I've paid up to $200/ night and Mel recently posted here that he had to pay $250. Different bars have different multas. During the day it's between you and the chica.

I don't think it is very dangerous, I mean don't walk around like you can buy all the chicas you will be alright, if a street is empty and its dark around it don't go in there. Thanks.San Nicolas is cool but it can be shady at dark. Even during the day there are some street guys out that can make you a little uncomfortable. The escorts are great if you can bring them back to your room. Never seen Street walkers since it's legal in San Nicolas.

Hotel, air fare, rent a car, and a stupid multa $250/ day was worth it for me to visit her.
I visited her in Curacao and now my second visit to Aruba to see her.
She is in my top 5 of all times. Just mention Mel the sailor from St Maarten and she will know who you are speaking about. She is here till the 20th of December, then she retires.
She is about 4 '10 tall and about 90-95 lbs for me total GFE. Great natural figure and worth flying to Aruba just to have a session with her.

I hope she does well at this bar it is off the main street and It took about 15 minutes driving around the red light district to find her. If she doesn't she will go home.

I believe she said she is leaving and retiring on the 20th, but give it a shot. It is close to Navidad so she will definitely be leaving before the 25th.

The Brooklyn Bar was locked down the three trips I made. I did walk into a gem at the G-Spot (across the street from Charlies Bar and at the end of the street. The Brooklyn bar is a small bar in a row of 2 other bars about 3 or 4 blocks back from the stret that charlies bar is located. It is at the BACK odf the district.
If you go to charlies bar coming from the airport, take a left at charlies bar it is 3 or 4 streets back on a parallel street to charlies bar and is 1 block to your right.

Well, nothing like waiting to the last minute. And almost screwing up! Heading down to Aruba in 10 days. Got a sweet deal on airfare, but almost blew it with car and accommodations. Ended up getting a car, seems like the closer you get to your arrival date, all the economy cars at the rental agencies vanish. Same to say about AirBnB. However, found a small place just outside of San Nicolas, in Seroe Colorado that should suffice. All I need is a place to hunker down and call home base while I explore the island. Also, a Colombiana that I met in SXM is on island, so I know there's at least one hottie in San Nicolas. Once I pick up the rental car I need to make my way toward San Nicolas and Baby Beach. Guy I'm renting from gave me directions and his number and a place to meet if I can't find the apartment. A couple of last minute questions.
1) Is the basic going rate 50 florin, or 30 USD? I know everything is negotiable. And daytime rates are probably lower than the evening premium. Also, what's the current scene? I know Charlie's Bar is the landmark and there's a Carolina's Bar and maybe 7 or 8 others all condensed in a 4 block area.
2) Are there bar fines during the day? From what I've read, the chicas hang out in the alleys. Either that's there room or there room is in the bar? Again, with anything being possible, just want a baseline to go by. I've read some reports of $250 for the day? Is that to the bar or to the chica?
3) On the evening circuit, is there a room key fee, similar to the clubs in SXM?
4) Seems to be more economical to change dollars into florin and get a better bank for your buck. Assuming any bank will change currency in San Nicolas.
5) Any private beach recommendations in the event of a daytime trip with a chica? Baby Beach looks closeby and pretty clean. Although the oil refinery in the background takes away from the paradise theme.
6) Any bars in San Nicolas to avoid? Beers and drinks in the clubs in SXM are pretty reasonable. Not looking to walk into a place and order a beer and a drink for a chica and be told the tab is twenty bucks!
Will gladly share my experiences upon return. Seems the chicas are pretty much on top of each other, as opposed to the different clubs in SXM, so it will be interesting to see how it goes with trying to snuggle up with my Colombian friend during my stay, while still wanting to sample some of the other desirable dishes! If pickings are slim, then at least I have a plan 'be'!

Anyway, less than 100 hours till wheels up and I'm looking forward to checking out San Nicolas, regardless of the status. I found a place just outside of town, which should reduce the travel time to the main attraction. It's spartan, but should work. Plus there's a couple of beaches nearby. Renting a car, so may venture up toward the resort area around Eagle and Palm beaches one day.
I found youtube to be fairly helpful in terms of getting some on the ground intel of the lay of the land of San Nicolas. The area does look seedy, but seedy is good! If I wanted glitz and glamour, I'd be visiting Vegas! LOL! I may pop into Charlie's Bar, just to say I've been there. All the trinkets splashed all over the place doesn't make the place any different than dozens of other joints that have the same tourist theme. I'm really curious as to the other bars and the so called 3 to 4 chicas that are housed there, vs. The 20+ lineup during peak time at Carolina's in SXM. Also, the daytime alley walk should prove to be a tropical version of the Amsterdam RLD!
If things are fairly quiet in San Nicolas, I'm hoping it's a buyers market! Hoping to do a couple of TLD's. And see how things go from there. Will ask around and see if I get a consistent baseline about a TLN and take it from there. My Colombian chica friend is working in San Nicolas, so I'm not sure how the TLN can work for her. A couple of last minute questions.There is a fixed exchange rate to the US Dollar of 1.77 florin to 1 US Dollar, most will round it to 1.75 or 1.80 so your 30 dollars is 53 and change in florins. And 50 is still the standard rate, some will try for more.
The bars are closed during the day so no worry about bar fines, just what you want to give the lady for her company.
Most bars work with the lady drinks, the girl will have to drink x amount before going to the room with you or you pay the equivalent and go to the room.
Beach-wise you are good, Baby beach and Rogers Beach are nice and close to SN, enjoy your stay and look forward to your report after!
Now I know why the activity has been somewhat sparse on the Aruba thread. Well, to sum it up nicely, guess I can say. Been there, done that. Let me preface my report that I had never been to Aruba, after being a long time visitor to SXM, and since the latest SXM posts have been somewhat undesirable, decided to take off to Aruba. Also, I had a Plan be in place. But I needed a Plan see, the, and E! Ok. Let me begin.
Don't get me wrong, Aruba is a beautiful island. It's the Caribbean. But the tankers and oil / gas platform ships parked offshore, make it much different upon landing than other islands. You're only 19 miles off the coast of Venezuela, and the Citgo refinery dominates the landscape of San Nicolas. So I don't have to talk about the weather or the beautiful beaches. Let me get right to the topic everyone is reading and waiting to hear about. San Nicolas.
First, I stayed in Seroe Colorado, which I'm glad I did. It's a bit of a ride from the low / high rise hotel district to SN. It's doable but still takes time. Definitely rent a car. Don't deal with the buses, and there are hardly any taxi's hanging around San Nicolas. In fact, San Nicolas is a cross between a Ghost Town, the land that time forgot, the south Bronx back in the day, and in parts, a third world looking city. No restaurants to speak of, no people, no shopping, no. Nothing! Even markets to duck into to buy a cold beer are hard to find, and the two (White Star) and the Oriental Grocery Store, close at noon!
So here's the lay of the land. You've basically got 4 streets. The first abuts the refinery and faces a big laundry company, and it's at the backside of Aruba Bank and Charlies Bar. There are two bars on this street. American Bar and Caracas Bar. Also two spots where girls might sit ala RLD Amsterdam style. The bars are closed during the day, and you've got your pick of possibly two girls. Tops!
Now move up one street where the infamous Charlie's Bar is. Which is hit or miss regarding being open. I spent most of my time on this street, changing dollars and euros into florin at the Aruba Bank, and trying to get drunk at a reasonable price for a 7 oz. Balashi (the local beer) at the White Star store. Past Charlie's Bar heading toward the unfinished hotel there are some bars, but again. Closed during the day. Now at the end of the street on the left is a place called Fan Restaurant / Bar. Very popular with the locals. And open most of the time, except Sunday. Find this place and park very close to here since there's lots of activity around. And the only safety concern I had was someone F*ing with my rental car, since the car company emblazoned it's logo on the front and back windows. Talk about a bullseye.
Now we're up to the third street back. This is where it gets interesting. First. If you don't trip over a dog sleeping in the road during the day, or get hit by a car cruising the alley (I did both. Walked and cruised) you might see a chica, behind a grated gate, or in one part, almost a cage. Welcome to the third world! Maybe a dozen tops chicas. Some in the room, some roaming the street out of boredom, some going to the Dominican breakfast bar. The same for the fourth street. Called Jan something Straat. Think the third is Rembrantstraat. No worries, you won't get lost in a 4 block radius. You will figure out the lay of the land in 5 minutes. Word of caution. Rent the smallest size car possible if you cruise the backstreets. You can clip a mirror or get sideswiped. It's tight. The last street houses the Brooklyn Bar which is closed / out of business. Also has the Chinese grocery store where the occasional goat is tied to the handle to the entrance and you have to negotiate that to get a cold Balashi or Polar. OK, I'm going to bullet point some quick facts.
1) Cialis is available at the drugstore across from Aruba bank. If you can challenge the pharmacist. She asked if I had any heart problems and a prescription. Told her I was fit and that I left it in the car and would gladly go get it, which I did have from some dated stuff from a physical and a box from a pharmacy in SXM. Cost of a 20 MG pill though was 20 dollars! She filled it when I said give me 3. I asked for a discount. No luck.
2) Beers are more expensive than SXM. Aside from the 6 chicas I was with, that was my second biggest expense. Third being fuel.
3) No restaurants in SN to speak of. KFC and BK are your best bets to put food in your stomach.
4) Felt fairly safe, but was more concerned about the rental car getting broken into. Actually, early morning, between 7 and 8 am Was the most uncomfortable as I was waiting to get into the bank and the all night crack head guys were wandering the streets. At night, with the car traffic, they think they're always another set of eyes on them. Also, there is hardly any foot traffic. I parked and walked most of the time. There are some dead spots and you are dealing with alleys somewhat, so be alert.
5) There is one apartment on the last street I mentioned just at the beginning of it or one more up that houses 4 or 5 chicas, that are 4's and 5's. If you miss it, you haven't missed anything.
So now remember, the only legal spot for mongering in Aruba is San Nicolas. And it's confined to an area, maybe the size of a football field. At best. So stayed tuned for my take on the chicas. Another report forthcoming.
Very disappointing in comparison to Carolina's in SXM. First the numbers are so low. Don't get me wrong. There are so doable girls in San Nicolas. But some that you see at night never resurface for days. Not sure what that's all about. So I came to the conclusion that there are two types of working girls in SN. First, those that reside adjacent to the bar that they work at. And secondly, those that freelance on the backstreets in rooms that look right out of an old issue of an African article from National Geographic. The nighttime (bar) chicas are ghosts during the day. The chicas on the far back streets are more consistently present. One chica told me it was 110 florin a day to rent the room, which is 60 plus bucks a day, that includes everything. To put it in perspective. My place in Seroe Colorado was 49 bucks a day, all inclusive. So on to the chicas.
Not being one sided, but my Colombians friend. My plan 'be', was by far the hottest chica in town. And she knew it. Which compromised my time with her. In other words. Every minute with her had a cost. She was the queen bee. Was with her once. Then asked about staying with her one night, since it was so slow. She wanted 200 dollars for me to knock on her door at 2 am and then shove off by 6 am sorry, wasn't going to happen.
Anyway, aside from one session with her, which was mediocre, I met with 5 other chicas. And one was a two fer. Ages were 22,27, 34, and unknown for the last 2. While the queen bee is 32. All the women I was with were attractive by my standards, and there weren't any gorditas wandering around by any means. And nobody was pushing / selling drugs. Again, just a ghost town, serial atmosphere.
My repeat chica was a 34 yo Colombians, nice body, fairly cute. Maybe a 6 or a 7. Another one that smelled fantastic which was worth the visit was in the same age range. Fairly feisty, multiple positions, and good overall attitude.
So three down, {quasi girlfriend, and 2 milfs.) three to go. To report on. And oh, for you finance minded mongers. I'll tell you the price structure in the next report.
So from the pricing perspective. I opted to change money into florins for ease of conversion. Any amount under 100 florins has no commission so I changed 50 bucks or euros and got back around 90 plus florins. Exchange rate was about 1.77 florin to the dollar, vs. 1.75 which is what gas stations and everyone else will give you. Anyway. 50 florin was the basic chica rate. But the upsell happens from there. Let me tell you the two scenarios.
Day. Anytime from 5 am On. There are a few girls either roaming the desolate back streets or sitting behind their gates. Not many, and not many of those you'd be interested in. This is the 50 florin deal.
Night. A bit more involved. And also, almost another lineup that surfaces out of nowhere. Met a few on the street my first night and never saw them again. Not sure what's up with that. Anyway, bar girls will meet you outside the entrance. Want you to buy them drinks inside, then you have to pay the bar either 12 or 15 florin or dollars, then the payment to the girl. In other words. It was sort of a hassle to understand and negotiate, so I stuck with daytime offerings. Plus, the drive back to my place in Seroe Colorado was a challenge in the dark. The nighttime experience was a hard sell, due to the fact that there was virtually nobody around and the chicas were desperate. Most of the action was guys in cars driving the back streets playing voyeur.
So being disappointed with the lay of the land and the chicas that presented themselves, and also, having my Plan 'be', basically implode on me. It was pretty much a sucky Aruba visit, with one exception. My off the cuff comment to two chicas in front of a bar on Sunday afternoon that turned into a Hallmark moment! Details to follow.

Every guy at the beach must have gotten punched by their other half. I was the king of the world! Now a couple of locals come over that they must have met before. They were cool, and one of them was actually the beachchair rental guy. They asked him for cups of ice since the only cold beer in Aruba at a store are singles and we drank those in the car to the beach. We went in the water together and killed the two six packs. Now the smaller chica who sat in the back of the car was tired and wanted to go home. No problem, I wanted the one that sit in the front seat next to me anyway. So I drop the littler one back off in San Nicolas and ask the other if she wants to get something to eat. She says yes. And I head up toward Oranjestad. I take her on a bit of a tour. Show her California lighthouse and then we stop at Bro and Beer for wings and more beer. She seemed to be enjoying herself and I was having a good time as well. I actually started to feel sorry for her, knowing that her brief trip to the civilized world would soon end, as I would drop her off in depressing San Nicolas for her to nap and exist in a small room with a bed and a closet. Sort of a living hell. I dropped her back at her gated door in San Nicolas and said I would see her later that night. I had already checked out of my apartment since I planned on doing an all night before flying out in the morning. I never saw her back out on the street again. Nor her friend. But the time at the beach will always be a memory I'll cherish from Aruba.
So there you have it. Sounds like SXM is in rebuild mode. And Aruba, well, it's probably seen better days. Next up for me is Campo, before that ends up going downhill. Bottom line, if you're thinking of going to Aruba, with the sole purpose of playing around in San Nicolas. Don't. It's not worth it.

I enjoyed reading your reports and completely agree with your assessment of what SN is like. I travel to AUA quite often, but mostly for sun, beach and cold beverages, and when the temperature back home is waaaayyyy below freezing. Last few times I was in AUA, I drove to SN once (to see if it looks any better than previously) and drove back to "hotel area" without even stopping.
But I'm writing this mainly to tell you something that I've learned from my interactions with a chica in Aruba many years ago, and your report brought back a lot of old memories. Look, I don't want to sound like a heartless pri*ck, but I think you're making too big of a deal about the chicas' conditions in SN. They know full well what they're in for. For the vast majority this is not their first time in SN, and not the first or second or third time on the islands. If you felt sorry for that girl you should have given her $100. That's what they're there for.
A number of years ago I flew to AUA to see one "special" girl that I've known for several years. Her living conditions in SN were just as you've described. Shared room, shared toilet, all day sitting on a plastic chair behind metal gate, bored out her mind. She used to email me how much she hated SN and wanted out, how much she disliked "smelly oil workers", etc etc. I took her "out" for 6 days and 6 nights, having to pay over $4 k (after negotiating for 2 hours with the bar owner to lower the multa) for the "privilege" (and who knows how much more or restaurants, drinks, trips and casinos.) Hey, it was worth it! I don't have any "freaky requests", so I think the $3 k+ that she made was the easiest $3 k in here "career.
I felt excruciatingly sorry for her when I dropped her off in front of her bar in SN and drove back to pack my stuff before early morning flight. I couldn't sleep, and drove to SN to see her again at 2:30 am. Well, knowing that I was leaving the following morning (no more dinero to extract) she wasn't at all happy to see me. Especially when I told her that I just wanted to see her and wasn't going to go to her room. She literally spent less than 2 minutes with me, said "sorry" and went to "work" on the next "smelly oil worker" who just walked into the bar, to try to get him to pay 50 florins for 30 min in that shitty dormitorio with a shared bed and a shared toilet. That really opened my eyes on how things really work in "the industry". Just had to get it off my chest.
There probably are chicas in the "industry" in SN (or SXM, or Campo, or POP / Sosua, or SDQ) that are different from "mine", but I've not met anyone like that yet. ClubTed, I assume that you're from one of the more / most "developed" countries in the world. These chicas are from real ghetto. What seems outrageous to someone from the 1st world country is the way of life for them. Don't feel sorry for these girls for the WRONG reasons. Their goal is not to go to a beach, or fancy restaurant food, or pleasant company. They'll obviously take it if offered, but they're there to bring back as much dinero as possible. Feeling sad for them can totally ruin one's trip. As hard as it seems, I think you should not. If you pay them, you can have 100% piece of mind that they're quite happy. And so can you.

I am by no means the monger expert, but have been to Costa Rica, Aruba, and to Black Beards and Sosua in the DR. I was shocked by how bad the girls looked over all. That house with the 4 or 5 girls (that were 4's and 5's) is where I believe I came across an older Mexican looking lady that was so bad I can't put it in words. I was guessing that house was not part of the girls coming in but were locals? Anyway just wanted to say thanks for report and I really found everything you said to be my experience to at T.

Finally will be returning to the happy island after a long absence. How is San Nicolas right now? I read the recent reports and I can see what you guys mean. It can be hit or miss but I enjoy the nightlife scene. I will be reporting live in a couple of weeks.

Located on Palm Beach between the Marriotts Surf Club and the Holiday Inn. Sunday the bar is packed. You can't move. Friday they have a band and action is good. Thur and Sat a DJ just OK. Other nights dead. I haven't taken any out as my family is in the room. I go to St Nicholas. Read my posts.

SXM is the airport code for Saint Martin (Dutch side) and therefore abbreviated as such. As for chicas in resorts and casinos, not very common (less so in resorts), but if found generally from Venezuela, more expensive ($100/ HR) and not controlled (medically a. O.).

There is no hassle whatsoever in bringing in ladies as we have done this numerous times. What we do is simply call an escort from one of the local agencies you can find on line. We have over all had awesome experiences with this. Maybe just been lucky but damned if every time we get a girl she's a monster in bed LOL. They always ask 180 for us as we are a couple, but we have always negotiated this down. I would guess if you are single 100 or less? Make sure you negotiate, they will lower there original asking price once they think you will hang up.

The Brooklyn bar is a small bar in a row of 2 other bars about 3 or 4 blocks back from the stret that charlies bar is located. It is at the BACK odf the district.

Going to be in Curacao, so I'm taking a 1 day trip to Aruba, to see a chica that I know. Trying to stray away from the touristy areas, so I'm looking for a room near San Nicolas. I'm renting a car, so any advice on what to do when I'm not sticking it to this chica.
Check AirBnB. I rented a place in Seroa Colorado. Not sure if they have a minimum stay requirement. Basically a one room apartment from a local older couple. Kind of hard to find though. You're best bet if you're looking for something to do is go over and hang out at Baby Beach. If you're only staying for a day, use your car as home base. Keep your belongings hidden, and just pull an all nighter. I've done that a few times. There's a ballfield near downtown that has a safe, well lit parking lot, that I've crashed in the car for a couple of hours before heading to the airport to catch my flight the next day. It's also a minibus pickup spot so there's activity starting around 4 am For workers living in the area heading up to work in the hotel district. San Nicolas is sort of sketchy, but I've walked around at night with no problems. Just look out for the occasional druggie / crackhead. Most of the cruising happens by car. There's only a few streets with any action. Try to park on the main one way street, up toward the refinery entrance, at night, if you decide to do some walking. I'm' sure after one day, you will have had your fill. Let us know your experience, since this thread has been somewhat dormant as of late.
