This will be my first trip to PR and we will be staying in San Juan at one of the Hilton properties. I am nowhere experienced enough to even begin to call myself a monger of any kind so any help as to where I can find ladies would be appreciated. I am here for a bachelor party and I want some happy endings to my night. I am not the one getting married so I can play guilt-free. Are there any places where a guy has a shot of picking up women? And if not, then where would the decent non-ripoff p4p places be?

Hi Guys,

I will be here in early May staying here for a week more or less then two days in some other cities. Think I will rent a cheap place in old San Juan. I need as much info on also when I arrive to SJ from SD DR how customs will be too. Can't be as bad as Miami that is the worst.

Nibu.The first thing you are going to see inside the airport is a sign that says: Welcome to the United States. There is going to be a line for US citizens and another for foreigners. Once you pass the first line (try to be one of the first from your flight or the line will be large) you go dowstairs for baggage claim. You are still into US customs area and going to make a second line. If everything was ok on first line the second one is just giving the custom form, if they did a mark to your form then you are going to be subject to a baggage scanning. Tourists in Puerto Rico are not targets for crime unless you go to the bad areas or request for drugs, of course as in any major city you should keep a low profile. Old San Juan is a nice area, lot of restaurants, museums, bars and clubs, historic buildings and forts, a cruise port and a lot to do for common tourists.

hi thanks boricua i fucked up coming back from sd dr i am arriving in san juan when i could of arrived in aguadilla, even a boricuan friend said the customs in aguadilla are more easy to peeps. so what more can i expect when i arrive at customs in san juan? can't be as bad as in nazi miami with customs.

also when i arrive can i catch a publico to aguadilla? i will be arriving on a weekday so i am thinking yes i also arrive early like 9 am. can i catch the publico then at the airport or must i take a taxi to the rio piedras station? also if i got to do it that way is there a few areas in rio piedras with the publicos?

one more thing before i go once i arrive in aguadilla can i transfer on to another publico to get to rincon? i shall stay there i found a few cheaper places then usual on the whole isla in rincon might then taxi it that night to jacks rock bar in aguada too.

Hi to Boricua this goes out to mostly, Yes to Boricua you can find a few places like I told you in the general info area.

Look in the classifieds or Air BNB. Yes there are like maybe 3 places more or less in San Juan like I told you starting more near the 25 and 30 range.

Also there are a few hostels spread around other areas of San Juan with dorm style living in the 20 to 25 dollar range.

Also I have lot of contacts in Puerto Rico that might be able to put me up in San Juan or other areas where I can stay with them. So basically to Boricua as expensive as San Juan is you can still find staying here 10 days like I will much cheaper then NYC for sure.

I am being nice to you too. But you should of not said no places exsit for under a 40 night cause there are a few cheapies like I said I and San Juan and a few other cities. Not much it exists. You made say like it don't exist at all. At least there are a few hostels in Puerto Rico.

In the D R where it is much cheaper no hostels exist. So next time when I ask for info get it right please, Later then, Nibu.

hi i just heard from good sources that puerto rico is the most strictest on customs arrival in the whole carribean and of course arriving thru mayaguez or aguadilla is less of a hassle then san juan for sure.

Any one knows were Deju Vu is now, or change its name too? I don't like going to Frenchy's to overrated, and to expensive. Went this pass weekend and the girls aren't that great, also went to lollypops and it was the same thing.Dejavu is in the lot behind original Dejavu, maybe it has the same name or it is Seasons. There is a street where U-turn right after you past in front of original Dejavu, you can't miss the place.

On a recent trip I called Mariposa, and I am glad I did. Booked Thalia for an outcall and she arrived promptly. Pics are a good representation. She is a hottie (tight!) and seems to enjoy what she does. Everything covered, but a great time was had from different angles. Finished with a nice slow HJ, then a clean up. Would repeat.

Seems to me that there is less and less reliable talent. Megan is ok, but I'd check out Mariposa first.

Check out Blue Marlin. A room for 15 and girl for 25 (if memory is correct). This was about 2 years ago. I went there often. Classic brothel style, you walk into a bar and there are girls to choose from, then you go to a room upstairs.

As for police busts, it does happen. One of the putas I was seeing on and off steadily got her massage parlor busted. Cops told all the guys to leave then arrested the women. They all had to go to court and pay a fine.

She also told me (not sure if this part is true or not) that the cops banged all of them the night they arrested them. Spent some time in PR this week. In San Juan I went to Frenchy's one night. Some decent talent in there no real stunners. I would say 6-7s and maybe one or two 8s. We all have different tastes I am sure. One girl really caught my eye but she was hanging out with a local all night and could not get her away. After waiting all night finally decided to go with the girl that was pestering me since the minute I got there. Think her name was Mirabella or Mirabelle. January 2013, flew from New York to San Juan, very smooth flight. Jetblue took over a new terminal that had been built for American Airlines at San Juan's Airport (SJU). Very nice terminal. 15 minute wait for luggage at the baggage carrousel, walked outside and got the car rental shuttle bus for Hertz. The shuttle bus driver gives you the number of the parking space where your car is located (if you are a gold member and reserved online. Free to get a gold membership with Hertz). No need to stop at the car rental counter, (the rental car has some paperwork hanging from the rear view mirror).

I was given a Ford Fusion with 700 miles on the odometer, nice car, good stereo to play the CDs I brought with me. Easy 15 minute drive to Condado and the Conrad Hotel. Checked in around 1:30pm and was given a room. Nice room, good A / C, strong water pressure in the shower, plenty of hot water.

Lots of college age students from the United States at this hotel and also out and about in san juan. Some cuties at the hotel's pools and beach. A few Roslyn Sanchez looking puerto Rican chicas work at this hotel (dark hair, light skin, thick lips).

Vanderbilt Hotel is an old classic hotel that has been refurbished, beautiful lobby with bars and restaurant (rooms are not ready yet). La Concha Hotel has a beautiful lobby, lots of white marble.

Walked to Old San Juan from the Conrad Hotel at around 9pm, long walk, but nice. Old San Juan is very nice, bars, restaurants, park with lots of lights. People in san juan very friendly. The taxis all seem to be vans. Drank a few mojitos in old san juan, visited Newyorican cafe, live reggae band, $5 cover charge. Took a taxi back to the hotel, cost was $14. From the Conrad hotel walked to the Vanderbilt Hotel, got a taxi there to La Plazita for $7.

La Plazita is an area with over 10 bars, not fancy, young and old crowd. I saw some 30-40 year old Puerto Rican women who were nicely dressed (non-pros) , stopping there for a drink. They looked friendly (it was a Thursday night). La India bartender in Fat Tuesdays is pleasant and she has a Culon (fat ass). Fat Tuesdays has about 10 smoothie type machines with different flavored alcoholic beverages. Cost about $6US for a small drink.

Ten ounce small cans of beer seem to be popular here, I guess Medalla is the popular beer here.

From Fat Tuesdays in San Turce (5 minutes from Condado) , I started to walk to Frenchy's, a taxi driving by offered to drive me there for free, I accepted. $20 cover to enter Frenchy's, and $6 for a ten ounce can of beer (I ordered a Coors). About 7 chicas in Frenchy's when I was there. Lighting is good, chicas will come over and sit on your lap, groping no problem. All the chicas I saw were light skin. I did not see any really big chicas, a few flacas, at last one india and a few with some nice asses (they walk around in panties and bras and some do a semi nude show. $30 for a lap dance and $165.

From Frenchy's I walked along Mirador, past a restaurant called something like Pepinos (good smell and it was crowded, I have to go back to that place) , it was after 11pm. Took the newly refurbished Hermanos bridge and arrived back at the Conrad after 11pm. Changed my shirt and then went back out, I visited the hotel bars and casinos near the Conrad. The Conrad has a Japanese noodle place (and fried rice) next to the casino, that is open till 3am on Thursday.

Good number of people out jogging and bicycling in the evening.

Drove 5 minutes in the evening to miramar on the other side of the lagoon from the Conrad hotel. Ate at Los Pinos restaurant, on avenida ponce de leon, good service, inexpensive meal. The restaurant is owned and operated by Dominicans, with pleasant and pretty Dominican waitresses. Across the street is cine arts movie theater which was playing "Lincoln" and other movies (has underground parking). Good neighborhood.

Had drinks with Boricua Online at the Condado Vanderbilt hotel, lobby bar. Beautiful lobby and bars at the Vanderbilt, excellent service, workers very friendly. Men's bathroom, lots of white marble. Went to la concha hotel bar for one drink. Then walked to Di Zuchero lounge which is across the street from the Marriott hotel. Walk up the stairs to get to the lounge which has an enclosed part and an outdoor part (on the roof of the building). Canvas awnings which you can see from ashford avenue, some say Chivas. Place was packed with pretty chicas, good music, dancing, nice vibe. Stayed there till after 4am. One six foot tall morena in Di Zuchero looked great.

After exiting Di Zuchero after 4am, we walked on Ashford to the Walgreens (mini-mart and pharmacy open 24 hours) , made a right at the walgreens, walked about 5 blocks, under the highway, made a left and there is a strip club, $15 to enter. Light skin, thin chicas, most had multiple tattoos. Small place with good lighting. Afterwards walked back to the Conrad.

I was told that Waiters bar / lounge on Ashford Avenue also is good.

Ventana al Mar park has a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop that is excellent.

10 oz beer cans has a story. In the past Puerto Rico largest selling beer was Corona as a local brand. India was the other beer manufactured locally. It was expensive for local brewery to produce different size of beer so a law regulation forbids the selling of beer in other sizes different than 10 oz beer cans and 7 oz and 12 oz bottles to protect local production against foreign competition. The law changes a few years ago so now we can see the large Presidente bottles and the Colt 42 sold in Supermarkets. Because of our climate and culture and because we get used to it cans are still popular. Canned beers get cold faster so it is convenient to buy it to take to the beach or for parties. Corona goes to bankruptcy selling their brand to Corona of Mexico who can't export their beer to USA because puertorican Corona had the rights of that brand in the USA.

Club with girls here are overpriced. It is not as it used to be 15 years ago. Somebody told me that el Siete de la Suerte, halfway your walk to Old San Juan is half the price of Frenchies. Formerly the Lucky 7, el Siete de la Suerte was the only place that survived the conservative crazyness of 1998 that ended with The Black Angus, Miramar Night Club, Hawaiian Hut, Doral among others. Dozens of girls promote themselves using Mundo Anuncio. A few girls are now using Badoo and Tagged to promote themselves.

Hope you had a good time here.What's not to like? Three hours and five minutes, flight time from New York to San Juan. I felt safe walking around and driving, all hours of the day and night (lots of police out and about). Roads are good in San Juan. The city is clean. Friendly people, good weather and pretty women. I saw young and old American tourists in San Juan of different ethnicities. I saw four African American women from the states arrive at the Conrad hotel at around 4am, seems they had been out at a bar or lounge. They were dressed to kill with killer bodies (one had on a loose fitting blouse, opened up with no bra, sporting her nice firm breasts. Another one had a tremendous bubble butt, in a skin tight mini skirt).

Jet Blue is now the main airline in Puerto Rico. They are taking all American Eagle routes. In few months they will begin to fly to Santiago and Punta Cana with savings of more than a hundred dollars compared to actual AE prices.I was told that JetBlue has at least 60 flights per day in and out of Puerto Rico. Jetblue flies into the airport near Ponce and the airport near Aguadilla, as well as into San Juan. Nice new terminal Jetblue has at San Juan's airport. Jetblue vacation packages had a good rate for the Conrad Hotel. I was given a nice room and there were no additional fees when I checked out of the Conrad (parking is about $16 per day). Customer service for jetblue vacations is available 24/7 in case there is a problem with the hotel.

Some older Americans were raving about Medalla beer at the lobby bar in the Conrad Hotel. Magna is the Premium beer, which you had at the Vanderbilt.

Staying at the Conrad were a group of Indian-Americans (some dressed in traditional clothes from India) for a large wedding at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Isla Verde, San Juan.

I saw a good number of Puerto Ricans who had what could be described as Native Carribbean Indian features.

That was scary and sad at the sametime.Yes, drug is a problem here. The problem has increased since the construction of the Mex-USA wall. Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic have become the main bridge for drugs to USA. You can see guys asking money in traffic light for their drug vice. They are mostly inoffensive, you just give money or not and continue. Better not to ignore, people prefer a no than being ignored, they have been ignored all life. Compared to other countries PR is safe for tourists. Tourists are not target here. In fact Puerto Rico has a culture of knowledge of the importance of tourist to our economy. But as in any country you should keep a low profile, if you bring costly gold chains or expensive watches you will be target as any people. I live in the San Juan area since 1987, never had a problem, I know the do's and don'ts. I want with Jao to different places, including luxury hotel La Concha. Two people were murdered in this hotel on different incidents a couple of years ago, but related to drug traffic between users (tourists) and vendors.

Although Puerto Rico people blames themselves to be bad drivers we have the second lowest per capita rate of fatalities in all America, even a better rate than the USA. Use of safety belts has been cited as the main factor for this, with a more than 95% usage rate.

I lived in San Juan for 3 years. Sometimes I reminisce how great it was (and believe me, it was great). But then I see a video like the one you just posted and remember why I left. It's like a lost island.

Many American tourists, young and old and of different ethnicities travel to Puerto Rico.The video was recorded in an area that a tourist never visit, in fact in an area that locals never visit. Drug traffic and use is a problem here that has increased since the construction of the wall between USA and Mexico, drug lords are using the Caribbean as the port of entrance for drugs to USA.

PR economy is in a free fall. The good and bad that happens here is because of US policies to its territory. In the past PR had privileged access to USA because of relationship with the USA. We lost this privilege with the Free Trade Agreements. In fact we are in disadvantage since we can't negotiate with any country in the world. The Senate and House of US eliminated the 936 code in the 90's which was the motor of PR economy. Since that we had lost two thirds of our manufacturing jobs and 2 or 3 jobs linked to each manufacturing job. Puerto Rico was a lot better a decade ago but there is people here working to reverse that. I still enjoy living here.

I rented with Hertz. Free to join Hertz Gold. I made the reservations online before the trip at Hertz's website. Hertz had a sale with rental prices starting at about $15US per day. For the jetblue terminal at SJU airport, there is a covered outdoor area, where the rental companies send their vans and minibuses to pick up their clients. Also new taxi vans there as well. The rental vans arrive every 5 minutes or so. The rental location for hertz did not seem very far from the jetBlue terminal. In the minibus the hertz driver gives the parking space for your car (gold members). No need to stop at the counter. Keys are in the car, some paperwork hangs down from the rear view mirror. I was given a new Ford Fusion, really nice, silver colored car. A worker will check the paperwork at a booth near the exit and then you are on your way. Easy to get onto the highway. Isla Verde section of San Juan is less than 10 minutes from the airport.

When returning the rental car, gas up in isla verde. I refilled the tank at around 3am, at a gas station just off the highway (before the airport when coming from condado). I didn't see a gas station at the airport.

There are some tolls on some highways. You may want to inquire about ez-pass, when you rent the car (I don't know if there are all electronic toll plazas).

Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water in the hotel where I stayed. The roads I drove on were in perfect condition. No political representation in the US Federal government (no taxation without representation).

Well educated Puerto Ricans there are plenty. My father had crystal clear blue eyes and he barely got past the 8th grade (no one would say that all blue eyed people lacked education).

I do not know you, maybe you are an economics expert so I do not want to generalize and to offend you. There are lot of myths about puerto ricans, you mentioned a few. There is a waiting list of investors from around the world wanting to invest here, to develop transshipment ports and manufacturing facilities for in process products to be finished here. As a government economic and financial consultant I have had access to privileged information so I do not speak based on biased or prejudiced information. You only mentioned that I blame USA for our crisis but you skip that I also mentioned that goods things have also came from USA. The fact is that PR sovereignty resides in US congress and when they vote on matters that affect us good or bad things occurs here. Lately it has been mostly bad things. Puerto Rico has a bigger percentage of college graduates than USA and while US has renowned universities our talent in many professions has been recognized.

The horrible part of the welfare system we have here was created by the USA in the early 70's and while it helps people that have no way to get money because of health or other issues it also keeps thousands of people out of the workforce creating generations of mantenidos. Why a person is going to work for $1, 200 or less per month to pay food, housing, health, utilities and other expenses when they can get a bigger amount in government help and subsidies? At the same time they can work in the informal economy getting better revenue than mid class people without paying taxes. Welfare system should be amended.

Yes, USA sends 11 billion per year in financial aids which half of it comes from our social security and medicare contributions. It is very well documented, but they also get over 60 billions from PR operations. To say that USA sends and sends money and do not get a benefit from our political relationship is to say that the nice USA colleges graduates only morons to govern the country and to spend the money around the world without getting a benefit from it. I doubt that, although I disagree with US policy regarding Puerto Rico, that USA is that moron. I respect USA as a country that have provided great things to the world. But, man, I am not on crack, I am on Medalla and Don Q limon. Respectfully, BO.

Is the Black Angus or Lucky 7 still open?Black Angus was closed 21 years ago. The old Lucky Seven too. Lucky 7 opened in a nearby place and I believe they are still open but I am not sure. I've never been, had some days off, and the airfare was favorable. Even more so, Puerto Rico was one of the final three Spanish speaking countries I have yet to visit / romp.

Because prostitution is not legal in Puerto Rico, that makes it more of a challenge for P2 P opportunities. There were several clubs listed on WikiSexGuide, but it seems that site rarely gets updated and only one club that was listed was still operating.

US Territory:

Because Puerto Rico is a US territory, passports are not required for US citizens to enter the country. Also, the currency use of US dollars is convenient. One thing I learned, when I called Puerto Rico from California, it was not considered an international toll call.

Flight:

Round trip flights out of San Diego on United can be had for less than 500 USD. The flight was three hours to Houston, and then another four to San Juan.

Airport transportation:

My apartment host told me the taxis at the airport charged $20 to get to the apartment. I was also told Uber was not allowed to pick-up at the airport; but later I heard differently. I used Puerto Rico Green Transportation and paid $25, but that was with a discount from the apartment agency. I took Uber back to the airport for less than six bucks.

Getting around town:

Uber was available all over San Juan, but it was quite pricy at certain times throughout the day and night. My first night out, I was leaving my second club and I met a limo driver named Freddy. Older dude, dressed well, and he was looking for business. I hired him for the night, and also for the second night. He went in every club with me and I was never charged a cover for him to enter. He seemed to love the clubs, and especially the chicas. It appeared all the girls knew him. If you ever want to meet him, just look for the well dressed older gentleman handing out lollypops to the girls. I can highly recommend Freddy; just send me a PM for his contact information.

Lodging:

I stayed in a two bedroom beach front apartment in Isla Verde. It was pricy, but for my peace of mind, it was well worth the cost. It was located in a great area and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure if the apartment was "Girl friendly" because I did not try to bring a chica back to my place. The only issue I had was the agency that ran the apartment required me to obtain travel insurance. I paid $83 for a CSA travel protection plan.

Communication:

I have the North American T-Mobile plan, so calls, texts, and. Using internet were included. I used Google maps several times while walking around the city.

Spanish:

One of the reasons I went to Puerto Rico was to practice my Spanish with the locals. Well, it seemed like most of the locals in the city spoke English and wanted to practice their English with me. But I was able to communicate in Spanish, but damn they speak fast in that country. Thus, sometimes I had to ask them to repeat or slow down please!

Restaurants:

I went to some restaurants and they were a hit and miss. I read so much about that damn mofongo and tried it twice, once with beef and once with crab; both were just OK. Here is where I went and what I ate:

Punto de Vista. Beef mofongo with garlic sauce; nothing special.
Pizza City. Open 24 hours and close to my apartment; pizza sucked.
El Sabor de Reina. Crab mofongo; nothing special.
La Factoria. Big popular bar / club with food; nachos sucked!
Hotties. Another late night place. Had two empanadas; no hotties were working there!
Donde Olga. One of two of my favorite places to eat! It was a short ride to Pinones and the restaurant was consumed by locals. Lots of excellent food; loved the place.
Chocobar Cortes. My other favorite place. I had the grilled cheese and chocolate sandwich; that was one hell of a sandwich!
Barrachina. They say that this was the place that created the original Pina Colada. Hopefully the one they created was better than the one I had; skip that tourist trap.

I am far from an expert concerning recovery efforts, but it appears Puerto Rico is slowly recovering from the hurricanes from the help from the tourists and multiple cruise ship visits.

Even though the trip was rather pricey, I still enjoyed what this city had to offer. Yes, mongering was expensive and the food was nothing special, but I enjoyed my time in country. The weather was hot during the day, but it cool down a bit during the evenings. I had a great time exploring and documenting stuff for our community; no regrets whatsoever!

Would I ever return to Puerto Rico? No, lately I have this "been there, done that" mentality. And I still have two more Spanish speaking countries to explore. Also I have many places left to explore in Mexico.

I was in Puerto Rico for a week and managed to hook up and stay with a local woman. I set my dating profile location to San Juan before I arrived, matched with several local women and just had regular conversations. I confessed fairly early in the chat that I didn't live in San Juan, was visiting solo and wouldn't mind company sightseeing, having dinner and checking out the nightlife. It helps to have genuine interest in history, culture, music etc and actually engage in meaningful conversation. She enjoyed teaching me history and telling me what to do / where to go. My Puerto Rican chick told me that a guy she once met before thought he would fuck her just because he brought weed when they met. She said NO and left him with blue balls.
