I moved to Fortaleza from Rio about a month ago. I lived in Rio 18 months. I like Fortaleza better. The weather is perfect. Girls have less drama and cost less than Rio. It's much safer!

Met plenty of girls , I can replace my stable from Rio no problem.

What I miss are English Gringos that live here. Everybody here seems to be Italian or Norwegian.

Any English gringos here? Lets meet for a beer, see if we have anything in common.

Actually the age of consent in Brazil can be 16.

If you like a special girl , she can haveher parent or parents sign a "Declaration of Emancipation" at the Cartorio"In Brazil, the age of consent is 14, according to new article 217-A of the Brazilian Penal Code (see text here in Portuguese), regardless of gender and/or sexual orientation."

Hi Luka22,

The Age of Consent is irrelevant.

What you need to know is the Age of Majority, which among other things is the age in which they can vote, get married, enlist in the military, and participate in commercial sex activities.

Please exercise caution.

are you serious? using wikipedia as your source?

w did you a favour and went and read the actual law. the page wiki is pointing is a law from 1940 that has been rewritten in many times.

unfortunately i couldn't find anything related age of consent. trust me, in brasil it is 18. i guarantee that if you are caucht with a girl under that age you'll still remain very attractive, though not by the women. although if you keep insisting going after **** girls in here, do yourself a favor: buy lifelong stock of k&y, you'll be needing it if you get caucht.

leave the small fishes to grow.

i must correct myself.

the age of consent really is 14 in brasil. although if you pay to a girl less than 18 years old it is a crime. also be aware that law disputes that if the minor than 18 doesn't show maturity it is a crime to have sexual relations with her.

so pretty thin ice to me.....

hi luka22,

the age of consent is irrelevant to you as this it only the age in which they can participate in consensual, non-commercial sex with her teen-age boyfriend without said teen-age boyfriend being charged with statutory [CodeWord123] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123).

what you need to focus on is the age of majority, which among other things is the age in which they can vote, get married, enlist in the military, and participate in commercial sex activities.

Luka, I pointed it out to you a couple of posts ago. The forum rules says: "Please do not post any messages anywhere on this site that refers to any person(s) under the age of 18 years. Any person violating this policy will banned immediately."

Your interest in minors seems weird to me. Maybe you should invest in some good knee-protection for the future?

As a matter of fact, I had dropped the subject but Apocalpso answered my post with something that seemed a bit vague to me.

As for other members' messages, I think it is quite amazing to see how they get agressive when someone speaks of Age of consent. In many countries, including mine, the age of consent is not 18 and I was not referring to this age as the legal age for prostitution.

I have no interest in under 18 year old girls, quite the contrary. Yet, it happened to me quite a few times in my life to meet a girl looking about 20 who said she was 18 and I repeatedly had to ask her to show me her ID. Which she could not, so I did not do anything with her (and it was not in the framework of prostitution at all).
But still I think it is important to be aware of the legal age of consent for sex (and for prostitution) in any country.

Now if the subject is banned here, I don't care. Why are we discussing it anyways? Let's drop it...

I think this is going to be one of the biggest issues you face. I was there for a 9 days and didn't speak a word of English. First thought nothing of it, but I missed it a lot at the end. You better find some English speakers soon or you go mad ....!!!

(I also agree with Forta chicas being more GFE and with less drama comparing to Rio, a lot cheaper too, if I go to Rio again it will only be for 4x4 terma !?!?)

Guys and what about the beauty ?

So far as I got 99% of GFE in Rio, I could care about weather and prices, but where do they look more attractive ?

I did a test, if it means something...., checked many girls in match.com from rio and from Forta, carioca seem to me much better.

Btw I like light skin girl.

Thanks in advance.

When it comes to GPs. Fortaleza is cheaper and TLN and GFE is more of a standard procedure.

When it comes to beauty it's more complicated. In general the carioca women are more beautiful than the women in Fortaleza. People in Ceará are infamous for being short, chubby, round headed and without necks. There are many women that fits that description, but there are also many stunning women. I don't care if even 50-70% of the women have footballs-heads, that not the ones I choose.

I think it's difficult to compare Rio and Fortaleza, as they are two different playgrounds. I like both cities very much. Fortaleza has the advantage of being very easy to score non-pro's.

Spinnerman
11-18-09, 14:15
I would agree with Sperto's assessment. There are plenty of stunners here , but bottom-line the girls of Rio are better looking than here.

And as I prefer slim mulatas, the difference is even greater. Here almost everyone is lighter skinned.

(mind you if you like shorter chubbier girls you're in heaven here)

I can just hear my South African friend R. saying " Not enough Blecks"

Thanks guys, I was in Recife in 2003 and the majority of girls were black skin, so I thought it is the same for Forta, as they are both in north east.

So far as I went till Floripa, in future better to check Forta too, as I agree with Sperto, no matter how the 80% of girls look like as 10 girls in 2 weeks are more than enough for me :)

Short terms are MOTELS. Last time I visited one was the Village Motel near ground zero. It was 25 BR for an hour.

Check out the IBIS hotel. I visited on my last trip and found it was GF, but I have heard other folks say it is not GF. I plan to be out there sometime early 2010. I want to try that place out if it is GF.

IBIS Fortaleza is GF but you have to pay fees (20R per day)

Very important she need to produce ID only for a short time registration. If she only have her passport she will not be allowed to go in your room (my own experience)

Thanks for the tips. Anyone in Town January 1.9? Send me a PM.

Hi,

I am planning my first trip to Fortaleza at the beginning of March and would like to ask some tips to make the most of it. I am interested in both the non-pro and pro scenes. I have read in previous reports about the Cafe del Mar-Forrò Mambo-Zipi Bar "triangle" to meet pros. Is this the only place to meet them, or there are more and maybe better ones? What about the non-pros, are there shopping centres or other recommended places to meet them? I have also read different opinions about the beauty of the girls in Fortaleza, what is the truth in your opinion?

For the accomodation, I found this website on the web: http://www.fortalezaapartments.net: does anyone of you know if it is any good? Many thanks!

i have been here since december 15th. until the 26th the place was almost deserted. then the brazilian masses arrived and the place was packed until the first week of january. now it is simply full.

thanks to that lesbian (they say so) lady major many things have changed recently to the worst.

europa bar in the triangle is closed. rumor is that police found two **** girls there. it seems that the portero responsible for checking their id’s fucked up management and the business.

zippie bar is asking a 10 reais entrance fee lately and has increased drink prices too resulting in much fewer monger than before.

the two barracas on praia iracema have been demolished by the lady major as well as the bebelux restaurant there.

mamma was trying to sell her barraca at beira mar opposite mc donald for the last two years. she finally managed to do so and sold it to two italian guys who changed its name to mamma italia and tried to expand it most probably without permission. it was taken down too. no more mamma’s barraca for the girls to hang out.

the only time that i show pirata to be full was on monday after xmass. all other mondays only half full. not like recent years when you couldn’t breath because the crowds.

armagen still going strong on wednesdays so does crocobeach on thursdays.

prices have gone up considerably too. last year i was paying 1600 reais for my apartment at iate plaza this year 2500. last year reais was almost 3 to a euro this year less than 2,5 making it an increase of almost 85%. last year the price of a small car was 1500/month this year 1850.

i was at the triangle yesterday at midnight. the guys were twice as many as the girls and still the place looked deserted in comparison to the years before. it seems that too many girls have gone to natal for better opportunities.

i went to belissima an evening and the very few good looking ones i had sampled the last year. the place was taken by very noisy brazilians at 21:00 so after an hour i called the night of and left empty handed.

my overall impression is that fortaleza is definitely into the decline. i've been coming here for the last seven years but imho it was never that bad before. i believe that it is going to be worst next year and more costly the years to come due to the world cup and the rio olympics.

bye bye fortaleza for me.

its not rio!

just returned from my first trip to fortaleza. i was there for 8 nights. i have been to rio many times and all of my opinions here are obviously only based on my short stay in a city that i was, and still am, unfamiliar with.

day 1- i arrived on a friday and checked into my apartment. the first night i went to the forro mambo area around 11 to check things out. things were just getting started so i hung out in the heineken bar and watched things start to develop. around 12:30 i went into café del mar. this was january 1st and the place was packed. the problem is that it was packed with men. 10 to 1 ratio of men to women. so out of the women i would bang it was like 30 men to every 1 doable chick. crazy!

- the hot women would not even talk to me. i am 40, 5'8 155lbs and very very fit. i dress well, i have all of my hair and i am a pretty normal looking guy. i am white and can easily pass as italian (which i am but i grew up in the us), or i could pass as french or german or dutch. pretty normal looking. many of the girls were very young and there were several girls obviously ****.

then went into forro mambo-same thing

i was probably the only man who did not speak italian within 4 blocks.?

i finally found someone doable and we went back to my place.

day2.next night same thing different girl.

day 3 same thing different girl

day 4- went to zipi bar earlier and the ratio seemed to be improving but only slightly. then went to forro mambo and found karla. we went back to my place and had sex for 48 hours straight. gave her 300 reais.

i was now sick of my apartment so i checked into a hotel. ponta mar. it did not seem girl friendly but when i checked in they asked if i was alone and i said that my giorlfriend would be joingin me later. they asked for her name so i gave the name of my favorite rio chick. lets say her name is

thais dos santos pacheco. more later.

day 5 i was tired so stayed in.

day 6 went to forro mambo and found a girl and we went to a motel.

day 7- 2 nights left. found a real cutie in forro mambo 19 yo, tight no kids so cute. she was like lets go back to your hotel. i told her i don't think that will work but she said of course it will. so we tried.

obviously before we left the club is asked to see her id and her name was

thais dos santos moraes.

close enough.?

they let her in and we spent the next 2 days together. gave her 250r. very happy.

so i do not know if ponta mar hotel is girl friendly but they let her in and she was very clearly and 18 or 19 yo gdp. and she hung with me at the hotel for 2 days.

went to praia futuro a few days and at barraca boa vida there are many gdp's there but it is really tough in high season to do anything because the place is so packed mostly with families.

the city is quite dirty and smells. the streets behind the beach are deserted for the most part. more of the wealth in frotaleza seems to be far from the beach near the iquatemi mall. much nicer around there. my apartment was 2 blocks from the beach and just to walk to the beach i felt like i was walking through an abandoned city. overall the italians totally rule the mongering scene. when i am in rio i can walk up to any gdp and she is nice will talk to me and if i want her no problem. in fortaleza more work was required for me. the top shelf women during the first few nights would barely look at me. so many 20 something year old italian guys.

the scene started to change as the new years crowds left and the ratio started getting better and the attitudes of the hot chicks improved as well but a bad time to go for sure.

i am still undecided as to whether i will return.

editor's note: i would suggest that the author or another forum member consider posting a link to this report in the reports of distinction thread. please click here (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/announcement-reportsofdistinction.php) for more information.

this is really disappointing. i love going to fortaleza becuase the prices where better, the girls looked better, and not as many guys as rio.

i was there is oct, and i noticed that zippi but glass on the front, not sure why. zippi now charing to get in? damm. this was a great "free" scout location becuase all the girls left there and went to mamboos.

i have never had too much luck in amrazen becuase it seem there are alot of regualar girls in there. not sure whose working; and yes i went on wendesday.

are you saying the two bars that are across from mcdonalds is closed? i knew about the italian place. what i was told was they had live music in violation of some orders.

when to bellisima a couple of times, but after they tried to rip me off by putting empty beer can on our table, i never went back. there is another small casa call jennifer's (i think). they have a court yard and all the room are on the frist floor, and the girls were beautiful.

Let me correct my self. Zipie bar put some curtain on the door and they want minimum 10 reais consumption. Not entrance fee.

I am talking of the two barracas that were on Praia Iracema. One infront of the Pelicanos restaurant and the other towards Zipie. That one was taken by an Italian last year. He spent a lot of money to upgrade it put trees and made it look like a garden, he even changed the tiles. He made it real nice but they took it down too.

I used to sit there and watch the talent coming from Beira Mar going to Zipie to start their working cycle. A couple of years ago I used to sit in Subitos. A small bar and restaurant next to the tourist police offices in between Zipie and the triangle. Lady Major closed him too by not allowing him to have tables outside. It was the perfect place to watch all the talent passing by and make your selection for the night early enough.

Opposite Mc Donald they took down the barraca of that curvy mamma. She took the money and left and the Italian guys finally bought fresh air.

The two barracas next to her, Satehut and the one next, are still open.

Maybe I am wrong but I see far too many gay tourist lately. Maybe that is what lady Major wants. Out with the mongers in with the gays. We'll see.

El Greco, InBrazilSoon,

Thank you for much appreciated reports on Fortaleza. After reading your reports it would seem, Fortaleza is on the same death spiral as Rio. Basically the 'Lady' Prefeita and Prefeitura are cleaning house and this can ONLY be bad for news for those of us who love to play in Fortaleza.

The ratio of guys to gals doesn't sound very appealing either. Not too mention snobbish type attitudes. Yikes! I hope that is only occurs briefly around the Christmas/New Year holidays and isn't spreading throughout the rest of the Year.

I guess the Italians will ultimately have an advantage over Americans, with perhaps many of the young, cute and hot girls looking to travel freely (with out visa requirements) to Europe, to make better money, possibly marry, or simply spend time with their Italian boyfriends. Yep! This is definitely their mongering 'backyard'. Americas will need to figure out other ways to compete, on this playground.

Once again, thanks for the updates. Please kept the updates on Fortaleza coming, as I and many other on this thread, are keeping a keen eye on political climate on mongering in Fortaleza arena.

Ciao

You are not seeing things. When I was there in Oct. they have this HUGH lesbian convention. They practtically took of the Praia Mansa Hotel I was staying at. And they were not the femme types; stricly bull-daggers.

I know the bar you talking about next to state hut. I was there one night, and the next night I went, it was closed; and for the rest of the 7 days, nada.

My friends is telling me they want to close "most" of those bars in Baira Marr. Dam shame if you ask me, becuase the "family" area is futher down towards the volley ball courts and such, and those bars don't hurt the image of Fortaleza.

I also notice the lack of talent in the general area around the McDonalds. Still see the same ole familair faces. Still get my manicure from the indian lady, lilli. Althouth she don't know how to it for s*it, but I like practicing my protueges with her.

The trip before, I had the unforntunale luck of staying in the Terreico Atlanitco (sp). All the "ladies" that hang in that neigborhood are travsvisties. I had to walk over them with my dates each night and it was unconfortable!

Mamboos still rocks for me becuase I have good luck in there.

For a trip to Europe...I believe all a Brazilian needs is a passport.Brazil is somehow cooperating with the Schengen countries and this is why, in fact, Brazilians can travel to Schengen countries for 3 months just with their passport.

Had a former table dancer in Fortaleza 2 years ago who told me how easy it had been for her to work in Italy. (By the way: she was the most erotic experience in my life; name: Marcia, small, blond, surgery-boobs)

D.Wilson,
Please do tell us more about this Jennifer's casa (location, prices, etc...).

InBrazilSoon, thanks for a great report and a much needed update on Fortaleza.

El Greco, I'm surprised to hear that you're having a hard time in Armazem as I had there the best time of all my stay in Fortaleza about a year and a half ago. Partied all night, made out with a few girls then at the end of the night, took out a nice and wild girl , for free TLN. Afterwards, I gave her 50 reais as a tip. But damn if Armazem too is going down on Wednesdays...

For those who are interested, here's a great technic I've been using all over Brasil with great success. Before my trips to Brasil, I'd get on Orkut and other social networking sites and make friends with either girls or guys and ask them questions about their cities (of course, on cities I'm planning to visit). Then, once I get there, I meet with them. If a girl, in 90% of cases, I'd hit her within 2 days. If a guy, even better as he'll introduce me to some nice non pros and then the fun begins. Or go to parties/clubs with the guys. Best approach to crack the non pro night club scene in Brasil as guys can be your best allies if you make friend with them.

Of course, for that, portuguese is required. Even if one can get by, is respectable and shows geniune interest in the culture/country and shows that they're making an effort in the country/lingo, that'll be hugely appreciated by all: girls, guys, people you deal with on a daily basis.

Just something to consider for you guys to make up for the lame mongering climate now in Brasil. This is a proven and fool proof way to have a blast in Brasil, at least IMHO.

That probably explains the number of Brazilian girls working in London then.

Now if you want no pro environment try "Botego" on Avenida Salles especially on Fridays and Saturdays night and Sundays evening. Many nice garotas hanging there before they move on to Mucuripe disco. Need some lingo skills tho.

It is on a reciprocation basis I guess.

We, Europeans do not need visa to enter Brasil and Brasilians to enter Europe.

hotel ocean blue flats - near the holiday inn - review.

i stayed recently at the ocean blue. it is in a good area and is reasonably priced. take a left out of the holiday inn and a left at that light and walk up the hill halfway, it is on your right. i paid $121br a night as a single, and paid $68br a night for guests. the hotel staff is 100% portuguese, no english is spoken. the room is like a small apartment, with the living room/dining room, a kitchenette, a bed room and bath. the only room with ac is the bedroom, but with the doors open, you can cool the entire suite in time. i found the place to be simular to the quality of the casablanca, but a larger room and in a better location. since the local company i work for gives me a hard time about the casablanca, due to it's location and reputation, i think this will work for me. i was able to bring in a new friend each night and was asked to sign a waiver and pay the $86br. the waiver was to take full responsability for the guest and the hotel will not have any responsability. also i think there was a note about ****, but they took the id and reviewed it anyway. as for the cleaning service, it was good, clean towels and sheets everyday. the breakfast (pay $17br extra each day) was decent. i didn't try the pool, the internet is only in the bedroom and wired only. also they required i pay at least a $500br deposit the night before i checked out, and the remainder the day i left. for mongering, the best i found is still the casablanca. i did not try the ibis on this trip, but it still is an option i am considering.

Just some small notes on the current situation in Fortaleza.

GENERAL:
* It's very hot right now! Rain is very scarce. In February the rain will come.
* This year there are lots of brazilian tourists here. They spend a lot of money.
* Apartment prices in the high season have become more expensive. Normally I pay no more than R$ 60 for a nice big apartment. Now the prices are from R$ 80 and upwards for a nice apartment. There are small, very simple and not so nice apartments from R$ 50.

PRO-SCENE:
* The "ho-crossing" in Iracema is alive but not kicking very much. Europa Bar is closed. Café d Mar and Forró & Mambo goes on like before. Heineken Café and some smaller bars next doors.
Zipi Bar has changed a bit. Entrance R$ 10 with a drink or a beer included.
Armazem on Wednesdays is still OK. Some nice "once-a-week-pro's" mixed with the usual GP-crowd from Iracema.
Crocobeach on Thursdays is also OK. Lots of GPs, but usually not hard to find a regular girl for free.
* GP-Quality: Passing by the ho-crossing a couple of times I get amazed by the large number of big-bellied squared-heads. I think there is a decline in the quality of the GP's. Depressing.
* Best option for GP's IMO: Zipi Bar. Lots of girls and some really nice ones. They stop at Zipi before they move on to Café d M or F & M.
* Prices: Many girls ask for R$ 150, but just about all of them go down to R$ 80-100. Some even do quickies for R$ 50. Bargain! Telling them that you're not Italian usually gives you a nice discount.
* Beer-prices: All these GP-bars are charging way to much for the beer. Paying R$ 10 or slightly less for a beer is just ridiculous. The reggae bar on the corner is good for cheap beer and watching the ladies arriving to the crossing.

NON-PRO-SCENE:
* Fortaleza has a good night-life.
My favourite club is Mucuripe Club on Fridays. Huge place, 4 pistas and lots of people. A mixture of middle- and upperclass. Many very beautiful girls, even though the majority have very light skin. Nice to see so many ladies in one place in Fortaleza who havn't football-heads glued to their shoulders.
Entrance R$ 30. Beer R$ 4,5-5.
http://www.mucuripe.com.br/
* Dragao do Mar: Several nice bars with good potentials to meet non-pro's.
* I like Fortaleza a lot. Not because of the pro-scene, but because of the non-pro's. I find it easy to meet very sweet beautiful non-pro's in Fortaleza. Girls that are way more beauiful than the Iracema-GPs.
* Best places to meet non-pro's: IMO not in the clubs. Try the beach, the bus, in Centro, the market, Iguatemi or anywhere else that feels right. Local girls or tourist girls from Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia or BH.

FINAL NOTES:
* Fortaleza have a lot of unattractive women, who could be sisters of King Kong. Big bellies, round or very squared heads and without necks. That´s a pity, but Fortaleza also have very stunning women who makes you forget all the ugly ones. Don't fool yourself thinking that the really beautiful girls will do tricks in Iracema.
* My choice: Meet two or three regular girls. Get good quality-sex for free with beautiful girls. Use the GP-scene only in emergency.

I arrived in Fortaleza this morning. I had a few reais on me so the first thing I did was stop at the kiosk to recharge my phone. I got the R$22 deal since I will be in Brazil for a couple of weeks. Oops. All I had was R$21. Went upstairs to use the trusty (sarcasm) HSBC ATM. R$1000 please. Oops, machine doesn't work; and neither did the 7 other machines. The Banco do Brasil ATM actually said that it is only open from 6am to 10pm. It was about 5:40 then. O fucking well. I went back to the kiosk and told the guy that I would have to pay him R$1 tomorrow morning when I head out to Salvador. He said it was cool.

I went outside and hopped in a taxi. I told him that I was going to Hotel Casa Blanca, but that I would need to stop by an HSBC ATM first. He took me to HSBC Premier. And guess what? During non-operating hours it is a fortress. Surrounded by an iron fence with no way in. He asked around to the other cabbies and there was actually one that was close to the hotel. I walked upstairs and pressed the button to open the door. It seemed to be locked/jammed. I had to force it open. Finally got my money. The taxi dropped me off at the hotel here in Iracema. R$43.55. Funny. I think last June I paid R$20 from the airport to this neighborhood. Or was it US$20? Whatever the case, I think I should have rented a car instead. I am pretty much familiar with the area and with +R$40 taxi each way for the airport alone, a rental car would have been paid for.

The feast day of Sao José, was commemorated yesterday, March 19. In the state of Ceara, rain on St Joseph's day is sign of that this year's harvest will be good. Yesterday, 6.6 milimeters of rain fell in Fortaleza. Although not welcome by the sun-seeking tourists, the rain was a happy site to the Cearense natives, especially the farming community.

After three days here I have not seen any stunners nor anything I would rate above a 5. In my opinion, most of the women here fit the typical nordestinha description.

I have been hanging out with a local and we have been going to the local hangouts. (with the exception of Beir Mar(?). First place that I have been to where you buy your fish then go to the restaurant next door to have it cooked! Delicious!

I just returned from a week in Fortaleza. My last visit was in 1994 and much has changed in the intervening six years. The Iracema area has expanded considerably to the west with many new hotels and high-rise condominiums. The Prefeitura has invested huge amounts of money expanding the beach area west to the English Pier. The bureaucracy of Rio de Janeiro would never accomplish an expansion of this scale in such a short time period. There is a considerable Italian presence in Iracema and many Italian restaurants. Garotas congregate in the barracas near Praia do Meireles in the day. In the late evening activity picks up in the triangle area of Ave. Almirante Barroso and Rua dos Tabajaras. Zippy Bar, Forro de Mambo and several small pizza and pasta restaurants line the side streets where the garotas hang out looking for gringos with cash.

Airfare varies considerably with the Brasilian airlines offering periodic special fares as low as R$179. I used WebJet with a fare about half of the cost of Gol at the time I purchased it. Getting around town is easy and cheap. Taxi to and from the airport is about R$28. The 6 Km from Praia do Mucuripe to the far west end of Praia de Iracema is about R$10. However bus service is excellent ,and the fare is only R$1,80. Note: most busses board from the rear door and exit at the front door. You can take a bus from Iracema Beach to Praia do Futuro to check out the beach garotas. At Praia do Futuro you will find about 3 Km of upscale barracas with a decent supply of garotas trolling for your attention.

Cearense natives take pride in the fact that the state was four years ahead of the rest of Brasil in ablition of slavery. You will find statuary, symbols and souveniers of Iracema throughout Fortaleza. One might say Iracema represents the first European conquest of Braisilian women, rsrsrs.

Poucolouco,
Thanks for a much needed update on Fortaleza. I was there about 2 years ago for a week and enjoyed it. I also noticed some good opportunities for non pros once one gets away from the ground zero and the Beira Mar. I'm looking to go back there soon. Thanks again for sharing your views which are very much appreciated. Please do continue to post your experiences from Fortaleza and other Brasilian cities and don't pay attention to those who have nothing to contribute other than criticize for no reason.

Hello:

I have been to Brazil and to Fortaleza 3 times - always in the Fall - in November.

There is always action at the Iracema bars after 11PM. The first two times I went to Fortaleza - in '03 and '05, there was also plenty of programa girls in the early evening in the Mireiles cafes across the street from McDonalds. There were also plenty of programa girls at some of the beaches at Praia de Futuro in the daytime.

When I went back with a friend the last time - November '08 - there was still plenty of action at the Iracema bars late at night. But there were only very few programa girls at the Mireiles cafes in the early evening. There were only about one or two programa girls in the daytime at the Praia de Futuro beaches. It was really dead if you were looking for action. I asked one of the vendors selling drinks at one of the beaches about it and he said there had been a crackdown on these programa girls at that time, and they were not allowed at the beaches. (I am talking about the daytime at the beaches, not the night)

My question is: Are these programa girls back in full force now at the Praia de Futuro beaches in the daytime, and at the Mireiles cafes across from McDonalds in the early evening? Are things back to normal, or is there still a crackdown? Fortaleza was not as exciting the last time (Nov 2008) because of this crackdown.

Great to hear that things are back to normal. Coco and Croco beaches are where I usually go to at Praia de Futuro. They had daytime action my first two trips to Fortaleza but not during my last trip in 2008. I hope things remain lively when I return there this November.

Also, there used to be a lot of programa girls in the early evening at the cafes in Mireiles across from McDonalds. From your post it sounds like there are a few but not as many as there used to be.

Looks like I will return to Brazil the first 2 weeks of August and will not go to Rio where I have been 4 times this year and I am sick of it (yet I keep returning for some reason).

So I will spend some time in Sao Paulo but will also hit the Northeast and I am trying to decide if I should return to Fortaleza where I went for the first time at the beignning of January, or, check out Natal or Recife for the first time.

Whats making the decision difficult is the huge number of Italian tourists that may flood that area that time of year.

When I was in Fortaleza in January they were everywhere which made the ratios terrible for bargaining/selection. I am really less concerned with price as I am with selection and opportunity.

I have never been to the North East in August but I have been to rio the last 3 Augusts and based on the fact that August is the Italian tourist/vacation month I am concerned that Fortaleza, or all of the northeast cities may be packed with them. Not that I have a problem with Italians just trying to avoid the "rush"

Has anyone been to Fortaleza, or Natal or Recife in August that can comment?

Obviously this year could be very different for any of these cities including Rio but I having a hard time deciding.

Thanks

Happy mongering

Yes, it's worth to take a drive south along the coast. Visit Morro Branco, Prainha, Aracati, Canoa Quebrada etc...

While in the area you should also visit Jericoacoara, north of Fortaleza.

In Fortaleza there are buses to all these cities. Some buses are quick and others stops all the time.

The best place to find beautiful hookers in Fortaleza is visiting the place called Casa do Valdemir. He's an agent with very nice girls.Any taxi driver can take you to there.Other option is go to Belissima in Vicente Leite Street in Aldeota. At night you can go to Mambo dance club in iracema beach. The Clube do Whisky, another place, has a lot of splendid girls but expensive.

All -

Everytime I visit the hotels change their policies about guests. I cannot stay at the Casa Blanca due to its reputation with the local business I am working with. Any updates on good choices? Last time I stayed at the Blue Ocean (next to the Holiday Inn) and found it ok with a $65BR guest charge. I would perfer to pay nothing, but what can you do?

Apartments are out of the question since I am there for business.

Last time I was in Fortaleza was in November 2008. I met an American guy who said he was staying at a hotel in the Mireiles section. He said the owner of the hotel was a guy from Italy who gave him great tips on places to go to meet Programa girls - not the typical places, but spots the people who actually lived there knew about. I think he may have said many or most of the guests were from Italy, but am not sure. Can anyone tell me the hotel name and how I can contact them? I may be going to Fort this Fall, and this hotel owner may be a gold mine of good information.

I'm heading to Fortaleza on business in August, will be there about 7 days total, but I'm thinking about taking a trip down to Natal for a couple days as well. I appreciate the info and have learned much already - Thanks much to Poucolouco and Sperto for the most recent good updates here!

What I'm wondering, though, is if anyone has a Fortaleza 101-type guide? Any regulars or expats who can lay out the whole scene: Termas? (I hear no) Places like Help Disco was in Rio? Escorts? Private Houses? Costs for all? It would be great to get a nice download/compilation as to the state of garotas in Fortaleza, 2010.

I'll do my best to put something together once I've gone and can tell what I learned, but that'll need to wait until I'm back. TIA!

I have been here the last 3 nights since Thursday.

The whole scene has been great.

Day 1 Thursday- arrived early and got into my apartment by 9am- the guys renting me the apartment drove me around to pick up things I needed. Got to Boa vida by 1pm. Weather is awesome. No clouds for 3 days so far. Just 80 and sunny.

Plenty of gdps at boa vida but it seemed that most were paying attention to the napoli crowd as if they were all together when they arrived.

Thursday night. Went to zipi bar at 11pm. No charge to get in. Plenty of very doable chicks. Good ratio of men to women.

This girl was dancing and flirting with me for like 40 minutes and what seemed like the guy she was with was dancing with her. But she kept moving away from him towards me. Totally ignoring him. I was sitting in a chair at the bar and he kept trying to get in between me and her becasue she was ignoring him. He kept stepping on my foot. He did it like three times and finally I was like dude WTF is your problem?

He was like, she is with me, so I was like, cool thats not what I meant. How many times are going to step on my foot?

I was sitting so its not like we were on a dance floor where it can happen. Anyway it was fun watching her dance and him get all stressed out but I am not about committing violent felonies in foreign countries so I just laughed and left.

More on this later.

So I went down to near mambo and had a drink in the street in front and met Carla#1, nice 19 year old bleach blonde, face 8 body 9. We went into Cafe del mar had a few drinks and then went back to my place. TLN 150 GFE very fun.

Day 2

Friday- did alot of touristy stuff, dragoa do mar, mercado central, catherdral.

Friday night

Arrived at mambo 12:30ish- I was going up the stairs and saw the chick from the night before at zips who had the weird geeky dude getting all jealous, we passed on the staris and smiled. Saw her like 20 minutes later and we were talking. So I was like where is your boyfriend? She says nooo not my boyfreind just a client. So I laughed. And then here he comes again. Approaching and ignoring me like I wasnt even there. So they talked briefly and then he left. So we went downstairs and were about to leave again and he comes up again. I was like dude we are you so disrespectful? If you were with a girl I wuld leave you alone.

And then he says. This my girlfriend!

So I asked, dude do you even know where you are? Haha

Because your "GirlFriend just said she would suck my dick and swallow without a condom for 80 Reais.

I think you need to reevaluate your relationship status.

So because he was so disrepectful I had to bang her. So I said lets go, now or never. So we left, fucked for like an hour and then I through her out and went back to mambo but I told her she needed to get her own cab and no she can most certainly not share one with me and she is not getting cab money.

Bjos

So I got back to mambo at like 3 and most of the club was empty but they have this second larger area upstairs that I guess doesn't open until like 2:30 or so but I was crowded and tons of girls, god selection of the type I like.

So I got there and so the chick and her crazy "boyfriend" again. So I walked right past them and laughed in their faces and went searching. Found claudia- she lives in the same apartment building as me so we took separate cabs and she met me at my room. Fucked for like 2 hours and then she had to leave. 100 reais. Before she left she said my friend can come over if you want more company- I was like sure let her come and I'll check her out. Turned to be hotter than her friend so she hung out with me all day Saturday and Saturday night. Carla #2

Day 3 carla #2

Tonight I a flying to Rio at 2:30 am so no girl tonight

Will return to fortaleza Thursday for 7 more days. More to come then.

Will not report on Rio becasue I have been there so many times and all the chicks are all the same so nothing really new to say.

IBS, Nice report on Fortaleza scene, with Mambo and Zipi Bar.

BTW, are majority of the GDPs all asking for R$150 TLN?

It's been a few years since I've been to Fortaleza, but R$50-70 for 1 to 2 hours or even TLN for for this amount, was still on the menu. Ahh the good ole days!!

They run many privately owned apartments on many apart hotels except Iate Plaza hotel. I've used them many times in the past until I decided I wanted to stay at Iate Plaza. My other choices were Golden Flat Fortaleza and Saint Martin run by the Tulip group. They also run some on Iracema very close to the night action.

Very efficient and reliable. Prices are according to the season July-August and December-January being the most expensive. Negotiate with them. There are a couple of more agencies close to their office on Avenida Monsenhor Tabosa.

If it is your first time to Fortaleza I suggest you've better stay 1-2 nights at the IBIS and shop around. Their office is 200 meters away behind IBIS.

Staying in Forta, is how you want it. You like to stay close to the beach or close to most off the nightlife.

I prefer beach. And also there is some nightlife. Hire a car for 60 reais and you the king off Forta.

I just stayed there and it is GF.... 20BR a night for guest. Not a top level hotel, but works good. No in-room safes! You need to either have a secure way to lock up your stuff or have the front desk lock it up in their safes.

Safe as anywhere else and close to the action. No problems for me to walk to ground zero, but taxi back is the best. I plan to submit a full review in a week or two.

El Greco,

I take it the IBIS is GDP friendly? I'll be there in two weeks, just for a few days, so was hoping to stay at a hotel...

Also, thanks IBS for the great report. Also found this report on another site after searching "zipi bar" from IBS' report. Costa Rica Ticas site - forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=33134

DevAddress: Av. Antonio Justa 2324. www.redeprovence.com.br, e-mail: viavenetto@redeprovence.com.br. I stayed here years ago. Block from beach an action. Girl friendly as long as she's got I.D. Clean fully equipped apts. Don't know prices now. You can check by e-mail. Think I payed $R90/night back then 3 years ago but, was with a cop friend(police) from Rio who was a long time valued customer there.

All - I just finished a stay at the IBIS in Fortaleza. Here is my quick review:

GF - you can check a girl in at night, she must have ID. They fill out a form and have you sign it, and the girl keeps her ID. There is no room call when they leave. The cost is $20BR each night. I did not try to bring in more than one.

The rooms as ok. Nothing special, with only one major complaint. They have no locks for the room safes. If you have one of the block shaped locks you can use it, otherwise you need to lock everything at the front desk. Since I did neither, I took the chance and was lucky nothing vanished.

Internet is via WiFi and is moderate. You can pay by the week, day or hour.

I am enclosing photos of the room... just for reference.

Safety... Not in a bad place, behind the Holiday Inn. I walked to ground zero each night, but always took a taxi back. Better safe than sorry....

I found it to be a quiet hotel and I found few signs of fellow Mongers. I never once saw anyone else check a girl in, but also not a bad thing.

Breakfasts are good, you pay extra. Hotel lobby bar is open 24/7.... can be a good thing for those 3am beer runs.

I hope this helps, I am one of the guys who needs to use a Hotel for work and cannot do the apartment thing. Too bad I wish I could.

Enjoy

I'm looking forward to my trip, now just a week away (leaving a week from tomorrow). If anyone else happens to be in Fortaleza during the time I'm there, let me know if you want to meet up and hit the scene. I ended up booking an apartment with included WI-FI close to Iracema. Will report on the quality and setup when I return.

I have some generic viagra, but it's hit or miss. Anyone know if a prescription is required to buy the real stuff in Brazil?

I'll be in Fortaleza from Sep 8-15. So I'll miss you by a week. This will be my 2nd time there, but never reported on it. I'll be sure and give feedback this time.

I will be in Fortaleza some of the same time. It's my first time to Brazil. I'll be staying at the Porto de Iracema apartments. It would be cool to have someone else to hit the scene with.

PM me if you are interested in coordinating. BTW, if you are arrriving the morning of August 30 on Delta from Atlanta, that will be the same flight I will be on.

So I came back from Rio after 3 days in the cold.

Got back to Fortaleza on a Thursday-

The next 7 days were basically all the same.

During the day I would go to Boa Vida or Croco Beach and eat oysters and lobster (or what they call lobster) and drink OJ and go for a swim.

At night I just started going out after 1:30am heading to Mambo and going in hanging out for a few drinks and picking someone out.

I went with Carla #2 a few times and she seemed rather timid and shy sexually a few nights but the last night I kept banging her and she kept begging for more. Not sure what that was about but it was fun I was very very tired in the end.

Overall Fortaleza is starting to grow on me. This is my second trip, first in January and now August.

I don't know what it is like in a low season but the 2 times I have been there, new years and August are really the High season from a mongering perspective.

I would say that the scene was excellent for the type of girl I like and for a GFE if that's what you are into. You will not find the big bunda types like you do in Rio but that's not my thing. Also, I would say, at least based on my experience that the Fortaleza girls really aren't as wild sexually as the girls you find in Rio, cariocas or not. But still fun.

They also do not know how to work the scene as well. In Rio the girls are pros, in Fortaleza they are getting paid but don't really have the charisma or the pro attitude as much. This is good and bad.

The whole Mambo/Del Mar/Europa scene was very active during my trip.

Apartment was porto de Iracema. Excellent spot- safe, close to scene. Girls all over the place.

I will go back in November to see what is a like in a month that is a little slower. Or at least certainly slower than August or New Years.

Cool. You didn't end up making the trip in July? All, sorry for the PM-style post here. I just subscribed, so will have access to PM in about 24 hours.

Yes on the Delta flight. I'm staying at the "Classic" residence flats. I have some business during the day Monday and part of Tuesday, but will be hitting the spots at night, for sure. Will ping you by PM as soon as I can.

Had to head there for an overnight business trip. At night, a gringo that was part of the group I met there wanted to hit some nightspots and asked if I would come along and assist (his first time in Brazil.) Walked down to ground zero with no problems. Lots of locals selling arts and crafts on tables set up down by the ocean. Stopped at this Italian restaurant for some pizza and beers (good and surprisingly cheap.) Then ended up at Zip's bar. I was expecting to be screwed with pricing. But it was R$10 to get in and included a drink. He was treating me as I was helping him out. Great.

Place was fairly packed, but found a couple of seats in good central location where all the ladies brushed up against us going back and forth. Overall surprisingly good looking level of young-ish ladies that night, all in their dresses. I wasn't expecting much from what I read here. He is immediately smitten by this young, sexy spinner. Within 20 minutes, he wants to leave with her. Problem is he is already checked out of his room as he has a flight at 2:30 in the morning. So he is asking me about nearby motels (he does not speak Portuguese). I have never been mongering in Fortaleza before. So I end up negotiating a R$100 2 hour session with her for him. She started at R$250 and I told her I heard the rate was R$100 to R$150 for TLN in Fortaleza. And she says she knows of a motel for locals for R$20 (plus a R$10 cab ride each way.) She seemed sweet and genuine. But I warned him to keep his wits about him and give it all some thought. But he was out the door quickly (he left me R$50 if I wanted more drinks.) I sat and struck up a conversation with an absolutely gorgeous tall, curvy mulato - with a perfect smile and dimples. I told her I was not interested in mongering, but she wanted to sit and talk about my work. Very sweet and affectionate. Only had a few beers - so not sure about drink prices. I would imagine they can zap it to some tourists there with prices.

I took a taxi back to the hotel and received a call from my colleague a bit later that all was well and he was heading to the airport. His first Brazilian mongering effort went well. Kind of fun being the wingman for him.

Crazy with Brazil and Fortaleza expanding, growing, getting World Cup games, etc. Hopefully, Delta or others will re-think this and add the route back soon.

To InBrasilSoon:

I was just wondering:

(1) When you went to beaches in the daytime like Croco at Praia de Futuro, were there Programa girls at the beaches? I used to see a lot of Programa girls at the Praia de Futuro beaches daytime, but they were not there my last trip in November 2008. (One of the vendors at the beach told me there was a crackdown going on at the time.)

(2) I will be in Fortaleza sometime in November this year. You can PM me if you want to go out for a drink one night.

1. Yes they are at boa vida. But none of them really seemed to be working or looking for work. It seemed more like they were there as invited guests of one large group of Italians or another. But On my first Sunday I saw Carla #1 from my report there with a friend of hers and they were looking for work.

2. Sounds good- still a long way out.

Met up with Bijou at Zipi Bar at 9:30pm. Dead as hell for an hour, then, suddenly, crawling with beautiful GDPs. Must've been about 75 inside and out on the street in front by 11:30pm or so. I had my eye on a cutie seated next to a kiosk/snack bar, and after multiple failed attempts to catch her eye outside, I managed to nab her when she came in. Back to my apt. Name is Diana, pic 1 below, don't really do her justice as she looks a bit like a darker Jessica Alba to me. R100 short time. She said up to 2 hours, but we probably spent about an hour and were both ready to head back.

Stopped with Diana at the Farmacia to pick up some condoms and a telefone card, then went to Forro Mambo, went our separate ways. This place is definitely like the old Help, but with more separated rooms. Packed wall to wall, i sought refuge downstairs. I'd say easily 150 girls between upstairs main, upstairs outside, "discoteque", and "downstairs". This is Monday, mind you. I was being tailed by some stalker that I couldn't shake after giving her a cig when I found Bijou again. He had a couple girls with him, and I kept to the side, watching girls come and go, flirting with some. At some point, Bijou left and his blonde girl and her friend kept asking me where he was. Probably Bijou was a bit stuck with aggressive girls as well and took his leave when he got the chance. In the end, after an hour or so, I hadn't decided whom to take back again, and the blondie Bijou was with earlier was pretty agressively all over me, so I said WTF and took her back, another R100, she offered toda la noche, but I sent her to the taxi after a couple hours. She was pretty damn sex hungry. Pics 2-4, and yes, we did it on the balcony.

I don't speak Portuguese, but am pretty good with Spanish. I was worried that Spanish wouldn't get me far in Fortaleza, but so far so good. Many people speak Italian, which is a bit closer to Spanish in sound. Plus, I got a good tip from a guy I met here for business. He said the words between Spanish and Portuguese are very similar, but they sound very different. His advice, speak Spanish slowly and you'll be understood. Ask the girl to speak slowly, too (if you can communicate it) and the "Spanguese" is more understandable as well. I actually communicated very well in mostly Spanish with Diana (pic 1 from previous post), with less but still moderate success with Celia.

I think you are better off speaking Spanish or Italian in Fortaleza since i am not sure what the gdp's speak in fortaleza is even Portuguese.

I have spent a lot of time in Brasil and I understand most people very well but i cant understand a word these chics are saying in Fortaleza.

had business all day, then had dinner around 8:30pm and off to zipi bar again at 9:30. again, dead until about 10: 30. it picked up, but not as busy as monday for some reason. there was a really beautiful girl at the bar when bijou and i got there at 9:30, but it felt too early to pounce. another patron sat with her and bought her drinks for about an hour.

as other girls came and went, i realized the girl at the bar was the best of the lot, and caught her eye a few times, trying to give her the hint to either take the dude home or ditch him. minutes later, around 11:15pm, she did ditch him, but made straight for the door before i could catch her. drank beers for another 20 minutes or so, then bijou and i headed for the forro mambo/europa/cafe del mar. we were immediately surrounded by 5 girls shilling for one club or the other. peeked into europa, but it was dead, so walked into cafe del mar. sitting by herself at the downstairs bar was the girl who left zipi. i proceeded straight to her, bought her a beer, flirted and chatted for 30 minutes or so, then brought her home. name: naomi.

she quoted r150 short time. i said r100, but wanted her badly so settled at r120. she was definitely worth it. looks a bit like adriana lima in the face. nice body, sweet, great kisser, responsive, great sex. pics below. eyes obscured per her request.

Sat for awhile this afternoon at the Barracas around Beira Mar. The one across from McDonald's had one hottie, but I didn't move fast enough. Talked with another one, but she was very stand-offish so I said "Ciao" and moved back towards Iracema, stopping at another barraca for a couple beers on the way. A couple of substandard girls stopped by or gave me the look, but I passed. Finally, walking on my way back to my apartment, saw this cutie across the street and headed her off with a simple "hola". She stopped, we quickly negotiated R60 and headed to my apt. She was 18 (and I confirmed twice that she was bc she looks young - passed the ID check at the apartment, too) and definitely inexperienced. Also hard to communicate with her. Showered solo, she showered, then got on the bed and was giggling as I sucked her nipples or played with her pussy, squirming too. Decided it was best to get it over with and pounded her doggy, then mish to completion. The girl was up like a shot after I came and grabbed her clothes and was out the door as soon as I gave her the R60, though she did try to point out that she hangs out on the boardwalk right across the street. Nao Obrogado - that was a one-timer for sure.

Forro Mambo is closed on Wednesdays, and Armazem, which is a very short taxi ride away from the Zipi/Forro Mambo/Europe/Cafe del Mar scene, is on instead. This place had the hottest girls yet. Some familiar faces from Zipi earlier in the night, but also plenty of fresh ones I hadn't seen yet. Some of the girls seemed to be either not working or not interested in me. It's possible this club had more of a non-pro mix than the others, but still a very nice and large selection of GDPs. Long story short, found Luciana with two friends around 3am. Bought all of them a drink to break the ice. Luciana quoted R200. Negotiated down to R150. She was sweet and said she's a student. She let me take only one picture -clothed, below. She spent about 2 hours, good time once again. Fortaleza has been very very good to me. One more night, then off to Natal.

This trip report is from my visit to Fortaleza from August 30-Sept 6. I hung out with JD Garbanzo who has posted some pics of the type of girls available. Thanks to all the posters who provided valuable information in planning, but a special thanks to “InBrazilSoon” for providing the most current info on Fortaleza

Prelude
Since my last trip report to SDQ last year, I have been back a few times to previous places (PTY, CTG) and went to some places where there is already enough good information (Sosua, and SJO), so I hadn’t written any new reports. I wanted to take my first trip to Brazil, but with the “changes” going on in Rio, I decided to first go somewhere else. A Brazilian friend of mine recommended Fortaleza, and off I went, although about a month later than I originally planned.

Travel Logistics
Brazil does require Visas for US residents. The length of visa can range from 90 days to 10 years. I’m not sure if this is just the luck of the draw or based on criteria that are used from the visa application. Also, it may be more likely to get a 10 year visa if you actually schedule an in person visa appointment at the closest the Brazilian Consulate with your airline ticket in hand.

I flew Delta red-eye directly into Fortaleza, which was very convenient. However, apparently that was the last Delta flight as Delta has now cancelled service to Fortaleza. I’m not sure of any other US airlines that services Fortaleza and other airlines will require connection(s). Arrival into Fortaleza is uneventful and immigration and customs is a breeze. The airport itself is relatively small and relatively easily to navigate.

Taxi from the airport to my apartment ran 30 BR, which is in line with what I read on the forum. It cost me 25 BR to get back to the airport. I guess I could have negotiated 5 BR less both times, but I chose not to as long as I’m not getting ripped off. In Fortaleza, using taxis varies between meter and flat rates. From my apartment to Praia Futuro ran about 20 BR using the meter. At night from the “spots”, it ranged from 5 BR to 7 BR, even though a few drivers tried to get 10 BR out of me. So, it’s good to have an idea of what it should cost before getting into the taxi or just request using the meter. Obviously, this is easier for locals and for people who speak the language well.

Lodging
I stayed at the Port do Iracema apartments (www.flatsfortaleza.com) booked through Michael. It ran me 120 BR/night. There is an additional charge for electric use, especially air conditioning. However, with the windows open I rarely had to use AC. It has a safe, hot water, and wireless internet access. It is nice apartment and I would strongly recommend Michael. As others have mentioned, there are working girls that actually live in this complex, which can be a positive (or a negative if they have the apartment right next to you). Also, other mongers stay there so sometimes you can see girls leaving that may catch your interest for future. The apartment complex has a pool and a gym.

Currency Exchange
1 USD was about 1.75 BR. As with all my trips, I use a CapitalOne ATM card to get cash out without incurring large international withdrawal fees and the card seemed to work pretty well at any ATM that had “Plus” logo.

General Info of Fortaleza
Fortaleza has 4 main “city beach” area and then downtown. The beach areas are Praia do Iracema, Praia do Meireles, Praia do Murcuripe, and Praia do Futuro. The apartment and the main mongering areas are in Iracema. To walk to Meireles is about a 20 minute walk and you can walk all the way to the end of Mucuripe in about 45-60 minutes. To get to Futuro, you need a taxi (20 BR one way) or a bus ($1.80 BR one way). The Meireles area has a South Beach feel about it (without the beautiful people or clubs). There is a “boardwalk” that connects all 3 areas. Futuro has the many “barracas”, much stronger waves, and has more of a small resort feel. Outside of the beach area, didn’t seem like Futuro had much else. I’m not sure of how clean the beaches are in the first 3 beach areas. A local said that the beaches weren’t very clean and that he would only recommend Futuro. This is also stated on this website: http://www.fortalezabeaches.com/fortaleza-city.html. I didn’t see very many people in the water in Iracema, but more in the Meireles area. However, it wasn’t as if the beaches were debris filled anywhere, so I’m still not sure why more people were not in the Iracema beach area.

The climate in Fortaleza was very comfortable, even being close to the equator. Although it was hot during the day, there was very little humidity and you can easily cool down in the shade. At night, you can walk around without drenching in sweat. And, I barely had to use the AC in my apartment my entire stay, which I understand was “summer” in Fortaleza.

Safety wasn’t a problem either. I felt safe the entire time I was in Fortaleza. There is an area from the venues listed below to the apartment that can be dicey late night, otherwise no safety concerns.

Although normally I try to take in shopping malls or other local hangouts, I didn’t do that on this trip, although I understand that “Drago Do Mar” is a good spot to see/meet regular girls.

My Rating Scale
I am attracted to the “girl next door” look with a nice ass, flat stomach, minimal makeup and all natural (no silicone). So, my rating scale is based on this.

10’s: there are no “10s” on my rating scale (when I’m sober). 9’s: These are the “hot” chicks like you see on Victoria Secret’s, Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and music videos. You easily notice them out from across the room. 8’s: These are the “pretty” girls (minimal makeup) with nice bodies (all natural) including nice ass and breasts. You notice them when they walk by. 7’s: These are “attractive” girls (maybe a little bit more makeup) with a nice ass, but maybe lacking in breasts. I am an ass man, so a girl could be attractive, have a great ass, but very small breasts and still be a “7” on my scale. I am very generous with my “7” rating. These are the girls that are attractive when you start talking to them. You notice they may either have nice eyes, a nice smile, full lips, pretty hair etc. 6’s: These are the “not ugly” girls with a nice ass with or without nice breasts. I’m not usually attracted to these girls, but they are doable (right time of the night, right price, right amount of alcohol, etc.) and I would have nothing to be ashamed about if anybody found out. 5’s or lower: I would never do sober, I would hope that no one ever found out and most likely I would just want a BJ.

Chica venues

Zippys
Come out of the apartment complex and go left about 2-3 blocks. There is a gas station on the right and Zippy’s is right next to/behind the gas station. It’s a bar/club. Zippys gets going between 11 and 11:30. Freelancers work here. Some (but not all) start off here before heading to the other spots. Plays electronic/techo music with a small dance floor where some girls will strut their stuff by dancing facing the mirror. The number and quality of girls seemed to vary each night, so I would recommend checking it out a couple of nights before deciding on whether it’s good or bad. Monday and Friday nights seemed to be the best while I was there. Also, while I was there, there was no entry fee for me, but it could be that my wingman and I were certainly spending enough money on alcohol and that was why we weren’t charged an entry. Girls usually want 150 BR, although some started out at 200 and wouldn’t budge and others would settle for 120. Some will be looking to do a few clients that night and others are only looking for 1 score. You have to feel each girl out. I liked Zippys.

Forro Mambo, Café Del Mar, Club Europa
Come out of Zippys and go left along the right side of the street. About 2 blocks, you will see a road (It will say “Tourist Police” on the wall before the road) and turn right. This is the main strip. There are a few bars to hang out and watch people until you are ready to go to one of the discos. Club Europa was open, but really nothing going on. Forro Mambo and Café Del Mar (across from each other) both have a system where they give you a card when you enter and any drinks that you order get put on this card, which then has to be paid before you exit. Sometimes there is a fee for entering and sometimes it was free. Just need to look at the card to see if on that particular night there is an entrance fee. I can’t really provide any consistency inter terms of pricing of drinks and I can’t help but think that the bill gets padded. The girls can enter free, but some from Café Del Mar won’t go into (or are banned) from Forro Mambo. Girls again want 150BR, but may settle for less later on in the night.

Armamez
Open only on Wednesday night. It’s a huge warehouse type of setting about a 5 Real drive from Zippy’s. I saw the best looking women in Fortaleza at this place, but it’s hard to tell which girls are working and which were “regular” girls. Saw many of the same faces as the above venues here as well as new faces. By the end of the night (or early morning), it’s possible that all the girls are available. Because a lot of the girls go to this place on Wednesday night, the other spots may be dead on this night.

Croco Beach
Apparently, on Thursday night at Croco Beach in Futuro (at a barraca called Croco beach), there are girls available centering on festivities related to crabs (the edible kind) that are brought in from the Amazon. My wingman and I went earlier in the day, but didn’t stay late enough to experience the night scene or festivities. I can’t provide much more information than this.

Bellisima
I went on a Saturday afternoon, but apparently it is better during the week for the after work locals. It’s a bar with girls hanging around and rooms on site (I didn’t check out the rooms). No entry fee, 5 Real beers, and I think 120 BR for a girl for 1 hour. It’s about 15 BR from the apartment to get to Bellisima.

Club Do Whisky
I tried to go one time on a Saturday afternoon, but it was closed. Apparently it opens around 7pm and is a 15 Real taxi ride from Bellisima or the apartment. Apparently, this has the hottest (and most expensive girls) according to a local. I never got to check it out so maybe someone else can provide additional info.

Daytime/Evening Options
In Miereles, there is a barraca called “SateHut” on Beira Mar across from the McDonalds. During the daytime, you will see a few of the same girls that you see in the venues and a few other faces not seen at night. In the evening times, the entire strip has a lot of people and there are girls in pairs or groups walking around, although it is difficult to know which ones are available. Boa Vida barraca in Futuro had girls, but they seemed to already be paired up with guys. Other than that, your best bets would be to line something up for daytime from the night before, or to go to Bellisima or Club do Whisky.

General Observations
In general, I didn’t see very many drop dead gorgeous women in Fortaleza. In fact, many had a “hard look” about them rather than the “soft look” I was used to in other countries I visited and which I prefer. Many had acne or acne scars, and wore an extensive about of makeup which made them look good in the bar and clubs, but not so much in daylight without makeup. Also, many had love handles and belly fat, even though they themselves wouldn’t be considered “fat”. And for a country known for beautiful “bundas”, I can’t say that I saw a lot of them in Fortaleza. Another general observation was that there were quite a bit of more “spinners” than I’ve seen in other destinations.

With that said, there were many girls that met my criteria for being a “6”, some that met my criteria for being a “7” (although it took more effort to find them), and a couple I saw that could be an “8”.

The girls are not as aggressive in making their availability known. If you make eye contact, the majority will turn and look away without even smiling. This was different from the other places where I visited where the girls would make eye contact and smile and then keep looking back every so often. It took me a few days to figure out that even those that don’t make eye contact are, in fact, available. Interestingly, I seemed to notice more eye contact and smiles after I hung out with one girl all night and then took her, which I’m sure that made all the other girls take notice that I was there to play and not just watch. So, for some of these “hard to get” P2P girls, your approach needs to be more casual than to just ask “how much?” and they may need to see you with another girl first to get their interest.

Another observation is that the girls like to make out in public. At my age now, I’m not much into public making out, but it seems that the girls are once you seal the deal with them. It makes me wonder, if this is really their way of showing the other girls that you have sealed the deal with them and for other girls not to encroach? I’m not sure…

Summary
I’m glad that I had a chance to go visit Fortaleza, especially while access was easier. It is a great vacation destination with a rather lively mongering scene. However, I’m not sure that based on the quality of girls that I saw there, and with the prices not being significantly more favorable, I would recommend anyone to go just for mongering. Girls just as good or better for about the same prices can me more easily accessible in other destinations. On the other hand, if you are like me and like to combine a vacation with mongering, then you can know that in Fortaleza you can have both. I would consider Fortaleza again if there ever is another direct flight, or as a side trip from another Brazilian destination.

Another observation is that the girls like to make out in public. At my age now, I’m not much into public making out, but it seems that the girls are once you seal the deal with them. It makes me wonder, if this is really their way of showing the other girls that you have sealed the deal with them and for other girls not to encroach? I’m not sure…Bijou, I had a great time hanging out with you and meeting the Garotas at Zipi, Cafe del Mar, Armazem, Beira Mar, and - Especially - Forro Mambo! I still wish one of us would've approached that girl we kept seeing at Beira Mar during the day and with the short dress that kept popping up over her hips when she dipped low in front of the mirror at Zipi. She looked like a winner, but by then I was ensconced with Naomi (pics in a previous thread - speaking of Naomi, see #5 below).

I agree with most of your comments here. I'll add a few things:

1) The guy who rented me my apartments (Flat Classic, then Alta Vista Apartments) I think said it best as he took me to the airport. I was telling him it is difficult to explain the connection with the Brazilian girls with whom I hooked up - that when I would tell some friends about it, it wasn't enough to call it sleeping with a hooker because in Brazil, there's more to it. He said, exactly right I think, "You can buy sex anywhere in the world. The difference here is that the girls love sex, too, and they are able to be truly intimate with a man, even if it's only a short time thing." I definitely felt this here. I had some of the most intense/connected sex I've had with some of the girls in Fortaleza. This was no wham bam thank you m'aam sex for me.

2) Toda la Noche. I think it was easy to find if you went for a girl who wasn't super popular. The best ones all want to get at least a couple of customers in, and they know they can. A couple of these "top girls" said they would do TLN, but it would be double what they were quoting. Purely economical considerations, I think. Less popular girls are looking to score with just one customer and are more willing to do TLN. Celia was like this for me, she quoted R130, offered TLN. I chose not to keep her there, but she didn't go back to the clubs after we finished. Instead, she had a full wardrobe change in her purse and looked like a young girl out for a night at the movies by the time she left and went back home to her mom's house.

3) There are many poor, uneducated girls who need to make money, often to support a child. Many of these girls live with their mothers. Most of them do not have fathers in their lives. In Fortaleza (and Brazil in general) there seem to be many many young girls with young children. Of the 7 or so girls I was with, 4 of them had children (and they were 19, 21, 24, and 20 years old). I spoke with Daiana (19yo, with a 4 yo girl) about this for awhile during one of our encounters, and she said that education in general in Brazil is bad and sex education is almost non-existent, so girls start having sex as young as 12 and horny boys often impregnate them. Daiana is a pretty sharp girl, but she's got a long hard life ahead of her, I fear.

4) While there indeed are a preponderance of 5's and 6's, the scene at night (again, especially Forro Mambo) was filled with girls. I'd say that most nights there were easily 300 there, with only 100s of guys. So, while probably 2/3 or maybe even more of them were 6 or below, there were still easily 50-100 girls to really get excited about on a given night. Not bad hunting. Not bad at all. In the end, I stayed in Fortaleza rather than traveling to Natal because I was having such a good time each night. I definitely paid for all the drinking, smoking, and lack of sleep. When I got home, I had a full blown cold.

5) One personal experience/note: This may or may not be usual, but I developed, and had reciprocated, a very strong connection with one girl on this trip. I paid to take Naomi home twice (2nd day and 4th day there). After the second time, she told me she had to go back to work the clubs (she needed the money), but asked if she could return to me towards the morning and she made it clear that it was her personal choice to do so, and she didn't expect money. She did return that night - she was exhausted and we did no more than sleep/cuddle until 10am or so - and she again arranged to see me early in the morning on my last day in town. That time, we made love for a long time, had breakfast, went to a tattoo shop (she wants to get the same tattoo I have on my shoulder on her own shoulder) and just hung out together for a few hours before she had to go to her day job and I had to head out to the airport. As a married man, I didn't seek this kind of connection, but it found me anyway. Brazil can be a dangerous place, in more ways than I even thought possible!

I am curious if you prefer Fortaleza over Cartagena or vice versa.I don't want to start any controversy, but since this was asked, I will respond. I'll preface my response by saying that I have been to Cartegena 4 times (3x last year) and only one time to Brazil, with my recent Fortaleza being my first trip.

For the quality of women, I prefer CTG, if timed right. What I mean, is that my first 3 trips to CTG were at times that girls throughout Colombia would come to CTG at certain times of the year to make some money (Easter week, July- I think during Colombian/Cartagena Independence week, and the week of the Miss Colombia contest in Nov). During all of these visits, there were easily many "7s" on my rating scale and several "8s". However, my trip this year in the first week of July, there were less "7s" and and hardly any "8s". So, I think that CTG has to be timed right to really see some stunning women, but I'm certainly not the expert.

For quantity of working women (solely based on my 1 trip), for beaches, food, and overall city, Fortaleza wins hands down. I'm not sure if "seasonality" affects quality/quantity of women as it does various other destinations. Maybe someone else can better answer that.

Pricewise for the girls, it's about the same for "7s' and "8s", but I don't overpay or try to negotiate very hard to save $10-$15 USD, but rather try to reward someone who gives me the GFE that I look for (but only for a couple of hours b/c I like to sleep and wake up alone).

With the above said, I would certainly go back to FOR if there is another direct flight from ATL. In the meantime, there are other places in Brazil and Colombia (and the world) I would like to go to.

A couple of years ago I read on this forum that there is a "house" in Fortaleza where you can take out girls. Supposedly near the Iguatami Shopping center, wherever that is. Anyone know if it is still around, and how to get there?

It is called Belissima, it is on Rua Vicente Leitte 2010 (although I am not certain about the number) or 2020. Two blocks from Avenida Antonio Sales. A blue wall with a security guy outside. All taxi drivers know it. Price around 100 Reais for a two hour take out. Expect ro pay 20 Reais more if you go with a taxi for its comission. They have a lounge with a bar where you can observe all the girs on shift (15-20). They usually change shift around 20:00 hrs. Open 24 hrs except Sunday morning to Monday morning.
They also have rooms on the site.

You've better go to the Zipi bar after 22;30 and other bars around there for that. 100-150 Reais. Opposite Mc Donalds on Avenida Beira Mar from 19;30 to midnight too. Belissima must be much more expensive I guess for same quality girls.

Last time I was in Forta, the girls were offering R150 for the first night, and then a flat R100 for each extra day. They would stay with you the whole time, but of course you're also on the hook for food and such. I got the impression this was the way the Italians liked to have it.

Close enough but not within walking distance. There is a public bus service from Avenida Abolicao about 2,70 Reais and they also used to have their own bus passing by Avenida Beira Mar every 30 min. Check their site for that info. I am talking about Iguatemi.

Near Belissima on Avenida Antonio Sales, two blocks north, there is a very nice bar/restaurant IMHO a must for freebies on Friday/Saturday nights and Sunday evenings. Check it out. Don't remember the name now.

What I really meant was I wanted a general idea of where the Iguatami Shopping Center is. That way I would have a general idea where Belissima is.
For example, is it near Centro, or near Dragao de Mar, or near Praia do futuro, or near where that famous Whiskey A GO GO Bar is? Is it in the southern or western part of town? Just a general idea in relation to Fortaleza. Thanks.

West of Iracema? "Slightly" south of Iracema? You're lost, try reading the map again. Iguatemi is east of Iracema.

Taxi, TOP-bus or a bit more than one hours walk (about 7 kilometers).

Taxi, TOP-bus or a bit more than one hours walk (about 7 kilometers).

I can only add:

You can go by taxy: about 15 R$ from McDonald, at night, lenght 20 minutes with normal traffic; from Praia do futuro (Boa vida) same price,

Other place depends where you are. From centro is more expensive, from aldeota less, etc.

Is in the Eastern part, if yoy by your car, good luck and.

Going with GPS is easier. LOL

And I hope it's enough.

Just my 2 cents. Or 2 reais

I've been using this site to spot familiar GDPs at Zipi, Mambo, and Cafe del Mar since I got back to the states. Seems like the site did a re-design and there no longer is a link to the photos from those three clubs. I wonder if it's an oversight in the re-launch or a purposeful removal of those clubs?

Just spent a week at the IBIS - $105 a night for me, $14BR additional a night for a friend. Hit the usual clubs, had one quote for $250BR, after I walked away from her laughing I found all others wanted about $100BR and possibly some extra for a taxi home.

Bikini and Europa are both closed, Zips, Cafe Del Mar and Mambo were rocking.

i was in fortaleza in august and met nomi, kept in contact, etc. now i'm back and she came to my place around noon the day after i arrived. she doesn't speak english, i speak very little portuguese (tho it's getting better), but we get buy on spanish/portuguese. nomi says that she's trying to give up the life: hasn't been to mambo, zipi, etc for a month, got a new/better/higher-paying day job, etc. this girl loves cerveja, but says only after 4pm (something about not drinking "during the day" even though 4pm is still day, i think). other than food, drinks, shopping, etc, i'm not paying her for sex this time around.

after a quick tumble in the sack to reacquaint ourselves, we went to lunch and to unlock an iphone 3g i brought for her (...anyone coming to brasil and meeting up with a girl may want to bring an older generation iphone. this one cost me $100 in the us, but similar models cost $600usd here because of 100% import taxes - a new iphone 3gs that we saw in iguatemi in august cost $900usd! no way i was buying that, but the cheapy used iphone from the us made a great impression on her...)

last time, i made it only to iracema, beira mar, and praia futuro. centro is what you'd expect - lots of people, lots of hawkers, activity, etc. lunch in a self-serve (by weight) place. while waiting for the iphone unlocking work to be done, she rolls up my sleeve and talks about how she adores my tattoo. last time, she said she was going to get it. i ask if she wants to go get a version of it and she smiled wide and said "sim, sim, sim" - off we go to a shopping area that was filled with tattoo and piercing places. we negotiated with one place - they wanted r100 which she said was too much. got to the place she got her last tattoo and they did it for r60. picture attached.

ok, so we shop around a bit more - the iphone unlocking took forever, like 3 hours. she looks at some makeup, we're a little bored, and she looks at her watch - magic time: 4pm and time to have some beers up in the little "food court" area. finally get the iphone and head to my apartment around 6pm. she says we can party in the apartment, but she doesn't want to go out - no mambo. cool by me. i had a 12-pack in the fridge and nomi tells me it's not going to be enough! we start drinking, listening to some music on the tv and youtube, smoking cigarettes. about 6 beers and and hour or so in she showers, we have another roll in the hay and a beer together and she says she wants to go out tonight after all, just not to the "puta-rias" (or something like that - her words, said with a laugh). she then lights up and says something about going to her friend's then to clubes "normal, normal, normal!"

so we head out and go to porto do iracema down the block, and apartment building very close the the action spots. she wryly asks me if i know the place, and i explain that my friend bijou from last time stayed here. she says that its where many of the girls have shared apartments so they can work easier, etc. we go up to one of these. it's like a 2 bedroom and there were literally 10 girls in there. some her friends, others she doesn't know. she disappears in the back talking to one of her friends (later, i found out they hadn't talked in weeks and she'd been trying to reach this girl without response, etc). some of the girls get me a beer and ask me to sit, and they all come around asking me questions (name, from, speak portuguese). girls would show up out of the back rooms, some with a pack of smokes to share, others just carrying their beer and smoking. most of the girls were 5-6s with one pretty hot but very young-looking one who was sort of off by herself in the kitchen chain smoking. it was quite a scene. we leave after 30 minutes or so. they asked for beer money for later. i gave r20 and they seemed happy.

off we go to a cab. at the time, i think we're going to some local club in centro. traffic is a nightmare and we finally get out and turn the corner into centro and it's a huge festival. festa natal. the entire square is wall to wall people, the buildings are filled with lights (angels, christmas trees, streaming lights of green and red and gold...), the square is ringed by food carts with all kinds of different stuff. the coolest thing i saw there was right away as we walked in - one of the old brick buildings had like 6 stories, with the facing wall having 5 "windows" across. the side of the building was also partially visible and it had more like 10 "windows" across. turns out, these "windows" are open to the air and more like a balcony under an archway. in time to the music, each "window" was filled with people part of the show, dressed in red, swaying in time to the music. looked like something out of a dr. seuss book - surreal effect. i wish i would've brought my camera, but nomi had told me not to, and to wear only flip flops, store my watch in the safe, etc. i guess she was worried about "ladrones" because, again, the place was mobbed with people.

we force our way through, grab some beers from a corner guy. trying to give r2, i accidentally pull out r100 and they all laugh at the gringo. we're at this for 90 minutes or so, drinking probably 4 grande beers each in that time. she's got to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), and we wait in a long line for the porta-potties. nomi's fairly drunk by now, and she burned some fellow partier with her cigarette while dancing samba to the christmas music, now she almost gets in a fight when some of the girls in front of her in line let a pregnant woman go in front. nomi then jumps to the front and goes in when the pregnant woman comes out. luckily, though they pounded the door some, the other girls let it go.

next, some food from one of the stands, but nomi spots a guy bringing around tequila shots and orders us 3 - one each, one to share. didn't need that. cuervo regular. ugh. at least he had salt and lime. while we're eating shish kabobs and fries and, of course, drinking more beer, nomi is chatting away with a couple about tattoos and whatever else and she gets some food down the wrong pipe. ugly scene of choking, coughing, me thinking i need to try the heimlich on her (never done it), running eye-makeup, tears, mucous, the whole 9 yards. a good minute of this. finally, she clears it and gets help cleaning up from me and the people she was talking with. the festival is ending, too (it's about 10:30 i think), and it's definitely time to head out. taxi's were impossible. we tried for 15 minutes and nomi comes up with the "brilliant" idea of getting two moto-cabs (basically you ride on the back of a motorcycle with the driver). she tells them r5 each. oh shit. i'm a big guy, 250lbs. the drivers each tell me to go to the other one. of course they want nomi as a passenger not me. the unlucky loser finally tells me to get on, and off we go! shit, shit, shit, these guys are whizzing in and out of traffic at pretty high speeds, we're bottoming out as we go over crests and bumps because of the weight. wow. absolutely nuts. maybe only 5 minutes, but i never want to do that again.

we stop early. where are we? right by mambo and cafe del mar. i screw up again with only r100 to pay the moto guys so nomi goes to get change while the guys shake their heads at me. we settle, and nomi, pretty wasted now, starts walking us towards forro mambo. i ask her "didn't you not want to go here?" she says no problem, just drink and dance. problem is, it's only about 11pm and it's not open yet. so, we go off to zipi. it's only 11, but it was packed already. most tables were taken, but there was one near the stripper pole and mirrors, which i grabbed. tons of hot girls there. hope to get a chance to sample on another night. nomi spends a long time in the bathroom (she was still just in her shorts and tee shirt from being together all day - she didn't bring a bag) because her hair and makeup was in bad shape from the choking incident. i order beer from the same waitress as in august, we chat a bit. i see lots of familiar faces, and i'm hoping diana, another girl i kept in touch with but whom i didn't tell i was coming, doesn't show up. i did see julia, a little spinner from last time, but we haven't kept in touch, so it was just a nice hello how are you. nomi comes out and she's in the mood for dancing.... and making out... and pole dancing ... and biting my neck and face ... and tonguing me/making out a ton more. for any of you there last night, i apologize for the way-too-much pda. man, i thought she was going to do me right there in front of the mirrors at the back of zipi bar. every chance i get, i'm telling her, let's go home and make love because by now it was best to get out of public. we finish our beers and, thankfully, grab a cab and are whisked back to my apartment around 12:30.

first thing, cold shower. then hot sex for an hour. awesome, uninhibited, animal sex with all the noise and mess associated with such. it was intense! next, beer! damn, this girl can't stop drinking beer. and smoking. two packs between us throughout the night (she doesn't smoke until after dark - about 5:30pm - another funny time-based rule for nomi). i don't even smoke at home. feeling it now. soon enough, nomi wants to go out and grab some food. says it'll be quick. we walk all the way back (10 minute walk) to one of the little restaurants outside forro mambo. normal night-time scene out there: girls everywhere in and out of mambo and cafe de mar, homeless guys asking change, vendors with trinkets, etc. she orders us beer (of course) and two big bob sandwiches (like a burger with ham and egg and cheese - perfect order, actually, for all the drinking we'd done). we're watching ufc and she's hopping off to talk to a girl here or there that she knows. i notice diana sitting at a table behind me. i'm sure she saw me, but hoping not. ok, done and walking back, passing the transvestite and/or transsexuals along the way back, including a scene with some local guy, the police, and a transsexual arguing about something. he probably found something in "her" pants he didn't expect ...

home at last. bed time. not so fast. nomi wants to drink more beer. i tell her to go for it, but i'm going to shower and bed. she pouts a little but is fine. she's watching musica tv and drinking/smoking and i drift off. not sure how much later, i wake up to nomi climbing on top of me whispering "eu quente. eu te quero, agora!" shit. not because she wants me, but i'm out of condoms, and she doesn't have any either. we're playing and moaning, but i'm trying to cool it off. she keeps whispering/moaning "eu quente" and she's on top and she slips it in. i tell her we can't, she says "eu quente" so i go with it, but pull out in plenty of time and unload. ok. done. what a day/night. this morning, she had a bad hangover, didn't remember getting food or our last little quente session together.

she left a couple hours ago, but said she'll be back at 9pm tonight. i may have a hard time slipping this one and checking out the scene a bit more, at least until after her birthday (which is monday). she has to go back to work tuesday, but i'm sure the garota gossip network will have my ass in hand for her when i get with another girl next week. assim é a vida.

DevThat's nice of IBIS with their guest/joiner policies. Are the rooms bigger than they are in Rio's Ibisi? First night in Fortaleza last night and hit with a 100 reale guest surcharge -- payable in cash on the spot -- at the Praia Centro. Hotel policy, didn't go into anyone's pocket. Hope to turn up top quality hostelry ASAP, if anyone knows.

Good party at Forro Mambo yesterday for a Sunday. Help spirit lives.

I'm staying at the Flat Classic through Enrico at http://bit.ly/dNlFF1 - NO guest surcharge, require docs and filling out an info card. I'm paying something like Euro50 per night. A/c in bedroom, wired internet, safe. Not the highest quality place, but gets the job done. He has other places, too, and he makes sure they're girl-friendly if that's what you want.

Checking the 4+ star places today and the 100 reale surcharge seems standard in town. ever hear of El Capitain (or has it changed names)?

Given a chance I would stay elsewhere, like a nice apartment, but business travel requires a hotel for obvious reasons. My local contacts don't like the CasaBlanca due to its reputation. The IBIS works best for me. I do not know about the IBIS in Rio, but these rooms are small and sparse (see my photos from my last review). All I need is a bed and shower - oh and it has to be GF with no major surcharge.

Enjoy yourself and say hi to the cute little bartender at the Cafe Del Mar for me.

To all the guys contributed to this thread, it's great info.

Me and 2 mates (2 English. 1 Irish) are going to Fortaleza for the first time. A little daunting but looking forward to it. Fortaleza seems very full and we haven't got apartment or hotel sorted yet, so if anyone has any info on availability that would be great. I've contacted all suitable places mentioned in the thread but with little reply as yet.

None of us speak a word of Portuguese, so we'll have to get to work on a bit of lingo.

Anyone fancies meeting up for a beer while we're there, let us know.

Thanks again for all the info in the thread.

Hope you got a better deal. With TAM now on Star Alliance it was nice and easy (and cheaper) moving around Brazil last month. 25, 000 miles and $16 for the domestic roundtrip, though doubt they'll let you do it Christmas / Ano Novo times.

As for Fortaleza fun, definitely a party to be had. Although the talent was like Help in its late terminal stage. On the Zip, Cafe Mar, Mambo Forro circuit about half of the girls were unvarnished favela types. About the quarter of the rest were veneered with new clothes and some hair care. With no cover being charged, others were straight street-walker types. Rough. The few good ones seem to show up once and then disappear. Maybe they get put on the European plan by guys who want a girlfriend-for-a-week vacation, or else show up only when rent is due. There's a wide range of body-types, something for everyone. But the total package of smoking body, sweet face, young is the rare thing there. Still a better vibe than anything in Rio at the moment if you like be out in a club dancing full of opportunities. At the Beira Mar between the McDonald's and the Subway at night also there are hookers at the kioske / restaurants. Unless you like old and overweight avoid eye contact when having a beer or a meal there.

This is a response I sent another member after he PM'd me about the scene. I thought it worth sharing a (somewhat) succinct summary of the most active portions of the Fortaleza Bar Scene.

Most nights, there are 3 sure-fire bars for plenty of GDP action in a scene that has the feel of the old Help, but not quite the talent level (though I found plenty to my liking every night I was out, both times I've been there) :

1. Zipi Bar. It's the "early" place. Many of the girls go there around 11 or 11:30. There may be a R10 entry fee, which includes two drinks. This lasts no later than 1am, but twice I found a girl here, went home for an early session, then went on to the main scene. Some of the better ones are looking exactly for that situation. Get a program early at Zipi, then one later at one of the other bars.

2. Forro Mambo. This is the one that is most happening now. Two levels, nice big outdoor balcony. Dance music upstairs, Forro downstairs usually. Later (around 3:00am) another room called "Disco" opens up upstairs. This is my least favorite room because it's basically the same music as the other room, but with a constant pulsating strobe light in an otherwise dark-ish room. Hard to size things up. Every night there are upwards of 300-500 girls at Mambo, I'd say. It doesn't really get rolling until after 1am, with a peak around 2am. Wide variety, but definitely plenty of talent. You enter, they give you a card to track your drinks (R15 entry). Watch out for Red Bulls and liquor drinks. I stick with beer or water. It can add up.

3. Cafe de Mar. Across the street from Mambo. A little smaller, but still 100-200 girls. Same deal with the card as in Mambo. I only went here a couple times because Mambo was so great. (aside: this is, however, where I met. After seeing her at Zipi. My favorite girl I've ever been with. I wrote a report about her earlier this month, and about our fun around Centro in Fortaleza. Unfortunately, we got too close, and now she's completely wrecked that I'm returning to life at home in the US and have left her behind. Every time I call her, it's all tears. Makes me sad.)

Outside of Mambo and Cafe de Mar there are a bunch of smaller restaurants and bars as well. Girls come and go into the clubs and this area, and you can make eye contact from these places to pull a girl over as well. A friend of mine did only this and pulled pretty well. He saved himself a bunch on drinks, I'm sure, but part of the fun of these places is dancing with a girl, hooking up, making out in the club, etc. The girls are friendly / open and willing.

Wednesdays, Club Armazem is a good place to go. Mix of GDPs and non-Pros, but I'd say weighted more heavily towards the GDPs. You'll recognize many faces from Mambo, etc. If you go to Armazem on Weds. It's main attraction is a live Forro show in an open-air seating area. There are also two side bars with house and dance music for breaks in the live show, or just as an alternative.

GDP costs: Generally, the girls start at R200 (sometimes R250) , but will go for R100. R150. I'm not a great negotiator when I have something in my lap that I really want, so I usually was paying R150. This generally is for a couple of hours, but if the girl likes you, or you negotiate well, you can get them all night for R150, if you want.

During the early part of the evening and somewhat during the day, the Barracas in Beira Mar also have girls sitting, walking, trying to make eye contact. Some of the familiar faces from the bars, some not. Mostly, more hit or miss.

You should definitely go. Avoid March-June, I've heard (less girls, low season). It's a blast, overall.

A lot of the girls are virtual faveladas. If you see something good, be quick to make your pick. Not a lot of quality to go around. Don't wait until winding up in the disco room after 3 a. M. Either : it's so dark to see what you're getting, and it's mostly the dregs. Never got out of Forro Mambo for less than 120 reales bar tab, plus a couple at Cafe Mar and Zip's. A definite fun place for drinking and dancing. Found a girl from Manaus there who was spending a month in Fortaleza, and saw a girl in Forro who was on the same flight from Sao Paolo. Wondering if more girls from Brazil travel to Forta for the high season 1 Jan to end of Carnival / Feb. Although that's probably the time when there are even more Italians swarming over them. A shame about the talent level, but if you're willing to take what you can get, you'll have fun in this scene. A definite possibility to return.

A definite possibility to return. While I'll agree the scene is not like Rio in terms of looks, I also don't think it's a take what you can get type of scene. Sure, on any given night, the ratios are going to be something like:

- 10% 8+

- 20% 6-7.

- 50% 5.

- 10% 3-4.

- 10% 1-2.

However, on a night with 500 girls at Mambo, that's still 50 girls at 8+. Maybe you think my numbers are high, but I was talking with 5 or 6 Americans who were there at the same time as I was, and they all agreed there were plenty of good ones to choose from. Even if you go down to 5% at 8+, there's still 25 girls there that you can get with, and, with the way the Europeans also like things a little different too, not a hell of a lot of competition from the hobbyists.

Could just be a difference of opinion about looks / types. I never found a reason to complain.

As for ratings: everybody's are different. We're not judging miss world contestants to a universal standard; we're trying to find a body that matches up with ours for a few hours. Your 9+ is a nine plus for your particular body-type. Saw some girls in Forta who were about 4'7'. Bet they were 10s to the dwarf who was in Mambo a couple of the nights I was there. Curious to know if girls from other parts of Brazil visit Forta during High Season. Would go back if that were the case.

When were you last there?

Funny thing about the pumpkin block head / no necks: wasn't noticing so many inside the clubs. It was just the general sense that most of the women screamed favela. And, a number had done a tour of duty in the E. U. Yes, did encounter girls from neighboring regions, and Manaus.

Specifically, given the Ceara beaches and overall tourist destination: do girls from elsewhere gravitate to Fortaleza in High Season staking out or stalking gringo quarry? Like it was in Help in years gone by.

i still find zipi bar to be lots of fun and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, more so than some of the other clubs, if i'm simply looking to chill and admire the garotas. great staff (who are available for pick-ups) and the new neon improvements, make the club even more exciting. note: i only received 1-drink with my r$10 entrada fee and found some days the entrada is free or if you arrive real late at night (1am). about 30+ girls every day during the peek of the night.

some nights i would just stand outside (with a beer from the street vendors) and watch the action come and go at zipi's. for me this was a lot of fun, since there was also some very very nice sws, just outside the gas station, by the parked cars across the street. primarily a group of about 3 or 4 blonde gdps (which imho were 7. 5s & 8s) , dressed in a daisy duke like fashion. tight cut-off jeans, tits hanging out in a tight fitting shit of some kind. you get the idea. many of their clients seem to be the young brasileiros with cars, whom they seem to know on some sort of social level. anyway, wasn't sure what to make of it, but i found this quite entertaining to watch.

miami bar. still closed. not sure if it's for good, or just in a holding pattern waiting for new owners.

europa bar. also still closed. also not sure if it's for good, or just in a holding pattern waiting for new owners.

cafe de mar. (r$10 min. consumption). cannot report on this club, as i did not go into the club, as it seemed pointless to spend money there, when most all the girls end up at forro mambo anyway after about 1pm.

forro mambo.

forro mambo and café del mar (across from each other) both have a system where they give you a card when you enter and any drinks that you order get put on this card, which then has to be paid before you exit. sometimes there is a fee for entering and sometimes it was free. just need to look at the card to see if on that particular night there is an entrance fee. i can’t really provide any consistency inter terms of pricing of drinks and i can’t help but think that the bill gets padded. the girls can enter free, but some from café del mar won’t go into (or are banned) from forro mambo. girls again want 150br, but may settle for less later on in the night.jd garbanzo comments hold true as of december 2010.

i paid r$15 entrada, beer r$8-10 +10% service tax added upon the start of consumption. most of the gdp action ends up here from about 12am-5am. the quality of girls seems fairly good, almost as good as previous years, with enough semi-pros to make it interesting. but for me the real gfe semi-pros are hard to find, as with previous years. i found that the most of the girls to be take a very professional attitude instead of a playful attitude, which inevitably turns me off. most girls wanted r$150 for tln (which really is about 2 or 3hrs until about 7pm or 8pm, longer or shorter depending on when you get out of mambo, which was about 3-5am most times) , but some will come down to r$100, with $20-10 for taxi.

heineken bar / black & white bar, reggae bar and others. for those who like the slightly quieter venues, some of the other bars in the immediate area, offer food, drinks and games (like pool, darts) to enjoy the evening. they also have a good number of gdp girls hanging out in these venues.

in the early morning, if the girls (or hobbyists) have not scored at forro mambos by closing (5am) , they will typically congregate at the reggae bar (which closes about 6am-7am) or the late night lanchonette (just above the reggae bar) , as a last ditch effort score a client, before taking the bus home or to work in the morning.

armazem wednesday night is the spot for armazem ('warehouse') , with a r$20 entrada and beer r$7. with a decent mix of non-pros, semi-pros and pros, it probably houses at least some 400+ women every wednesday. although my guess is only about 10-15% of women are non-pros. armazem, has a huge forro dance floor in the centre of the club and most of the people in the club will occupy this space during the night, as compared to the two (2) smaller disco dance floors on either side of the main forro dance floor. so as always in the northeast, it is helpful (but not mandatory) , if you can dance a little forro, for scoring brownie points with the girls. again most of the girls were asking r$150 (tln, but in reality was maybe 2-3hrs, by the time you left armazem).

atlantis / coco beach. took a couple of trips to the beach area close to atlantis and coco beach to check for daytime action and was very disappointed as i saw none, that i could tell. there were perhaps one or two girls that were perhaps gdps, but as i watched for several minutes, they remained low-keyed and i could not with a good degree of certainty determine if they were gdps. so as reported with the regards to the crackdown of gdps at the praira do futuro beach area, i would concluded that it is still in effect.

sw (street walkers) sws, numbers were less than in previous years along av. ambolico down to zipi bar / the gas station. most can be found at the barracas on beira mar and especially near mcdonalds on beira mar, on most evenings from around 7-8pm until 12-1am. the asking price with range from r$80-100 for 1hr.

warning: on several occasions, on av. ambolico (close to / near the habib's restaurant) , i ran into some very cute sws with very nice tight bodies and cute looks. since they looked a little on the young side (and dress a little on the sparse side) , the first question out of my mouth was 'quantos anos você tem? ' (how old are you?) as it turns out, unfortunately, they were ****. i wished them good luck and a good night and continued my stroll to iracema. so once again always ask for their age and ids to verify and confirm.

in the centro area, the sws are no longer found in the parks and are now (it seems) only located in the square (the praca with the big merchado, in front of the teatro jose de alencar on rua general sampaio). however, all i found here, were the worst of the worst. most are of gdps are 2s and 3s with the odd 5s. the asking price with range from r$20-30 for 1hr. nearby motels are r$6-7 for 1hr.

the only other option were some of the small drinking bars, spread throughout the centro area, but the gdps in these bars weren't any better. as with other cities this trip (manaus, belem, rio) , there seem to be a big lack of sws. i guess the prefeituras are cleaning house. with the exception being the sws transvestites, which i found to be growing in numbers.

new centro boite. there is a new boite in centro, located across from the park (praca dos martires, on rue dr. joao moreira, the one with the beautiful, huge old tree) near the army barracks. free entrada (just pay for want you consume, although the doorman may tell you r$10 min. consumption, if he thinks you're a gringo). beer r$3-4, smirnof r$5-7. about 10-15 girls, that are mainly 5s. 6s with the odd 7s. programa r$50-70 / hr (although some girls will quote you r$50/70 for ½ hr). small in size, but decent enough bar, to spend an hour or so enjoying a beer. but it gets very busy (around 5pm-9pm) with the after work crowds as the guys get off work. but this can also be very entertaining as well, since many of the working brasileiros go absolutely wild with the strip shows, when the stripper (naked) goes into the crowd to pick a guy for a free hands-on / mouth-on table dance.

summary.

it has been a few years since i was in fortaleza and overall i found it too still be a great place for hobbyists. yes many things have changed, many things have become expense and the quantity and quality of gdps has dropped, compared to past years. but again, enough cute girls to satisfy some of you hungry sharks.

so i spent about 9 days in early december 2010 and sessioned only 5 times (maybe i'm just getting old). two (2) from forro mambo, two (2) sws and one (1) from a beira mar barraca. it would have been nice to session with a few more girls from forro mambo, but the cost to pull a gdp out of there just becomes outrageous when you consider, r$15-entrada, r$50-drinks / serv. tax (avg. a couple of drinks for you and a couple of drinks for the girls) , r$10-15-taxi-to-hotel, r$100-150-gdp, r$10-20-taxi. total is r$185 (on the low-end) to r$250 (on the high-end). with that kinda price tag, rio (with all its flaws) looks pretty good.

now i know one of the big appeals to fortaleza is the non-pro / semi-pro action. non-pro action while appealing to me, seems (imo) to require too much time and effort to implement on a short stay and there's never any guarantees you'll end up sleeping with her. i've had some success in the past with non-pros, but invariably turned out to be a more of headache and a costly one in most cases. so i tend to mostly stick with the semi-pros. and due to the lack of them, fortaleza was somewhat disappointing this trip.

so with prices creeping steadily upwards, the lack of semi-pro gdps (imo) and sws, the absence of daytime beach gdps, anti-sexual tourism campaign (although i personally did not experience or see any altercations this trip, their presence was felt) and the long traveling distance for me, will make it a tough decision when deciding to come back again, when i compare it to the cost of hobbying in rio. but it still remains a good mongering / vacation destination alternative to rio.

The New Centro Boite was news to me, it sounds like fun.

please elaborate on this part:

with one pretty hot but very young-looking one who was sort of off by herself in the kitchen chain smoking. it was quite a scene.

i was in fortaleza in august and met nomi, kept in contact, etc. now i'm back and she came to my place around noon the day after i arrived. she doesn't speak english, i speak very little portuguese (tho it's getting better) , but we get buy on spanish / portuguese. nomi says that she's trying to give up the life: hasn't been to mambo, zipi, etc for a month, got a new / better / higher-paying day job, etc. this girl loves cerveja, but says only after 4pm (something about not drinking "during the day" even though 4pm is still day, i think). other than food, drinks, shopping, etc, i'm not paying her for sex this time around.

after a quick tumble in the sack to reacquaint ourselves, we went to lunch and to unlock an iphone 3g i brought for her (. anyone coming to brasil and meeting up with a girl may want to bring an older generation iphone. this one cost me $100 in the us, but similar models cost $600usd here because of 100% import taxes. a new iphone 3gs that we saw in iguatemi in august cost $900usd! no way i was buying that, but the cheapy used iphone from the us made a great impression on her.)

last time, i made it only to iracema, beira mar, and praia futuro. centro is what you'd expect. lots of people, lots of hawkers, activity, etc. lunch in a self-serve (by weight) place. while waiting for the iphone unlocking work to be done, she rolls up my sleeve and talks about how she adores my tattoo. last time, she said she was going to get it. i ask if she wants to go get a version of it and she smiled wide and said "sim, sim, sim". off we go to a shopping area that was filled with tattoo and piercing places. we negotiated with one place. they wanted r100 which she said was too much. got to the place she got her last tattoo and they did it for r60. picture attached.

ok, so we shop around a bit more. the iphone unlocking took forever, like 3 hours. she looks at some makeup, we're a little bored, and she looks at her watch. magic time: 4pm and time to have some beers up in the little "food court" area. finally get the iphone and head to my apartment around 6pm. she says we can party in the apartment, but she doesn't want to go out. no mambo. cool by me. i had a 12-pack in the fridge and nomi tells me it's not going to be enough! we start drinking, listening to some music on the tv and youtube, smoking cigarettes. about 6 beers and and hour or so in she showers, we have another roll in the hay and a beer together and she says she wants to go out tonight after all, just not to the "puta-rias" (or something like that. her words, said with a laugh). she then lights up and says something about going to her friend's then to clubes "normal, normal, normal!"

so we head out and go to porto do iracema down the block, and apartment building very close the the action spots. she wryly asks me if i know the place, and i explain that my friend bijou from last time stayed here. she says that its where many of the girls have shared apartments so they can work easier, etc. we go up to one of these. it's like a 2 bedroom and there were literally 10 girls in there. some her friends, others she doesn't know. she disappears in the back talking to one of her friends (later, i found out they hadn't talked in weeks and she'd been trying to reach this girl without response, etc). some of the girls get me a beer and ask me to sit, and they all come around asking me questions (name, from, speak portuguese). girls would show up out of the back rooms, some with a pack of smokes to share, others just carrying their beer and smoking. most of the girls were 5-6s with one pretty hot but very young-looking one who was sort of off by herself in the kitchen chain smoking. it was quite a scene. we leave after 30 minutes or so. they asked for beer money for later. i gave r20 and they seemed happy.

off we go to a cab. at the time, i think we're going to some local club in centro. traffic is a nightmare and we finally get out and turn the corner into centro and it's a huge festival. festa natal. the entire square is wall to wall people, the buildings are filled with lights (angels, christmas trees, streaming lights of green and red and gold.) , the square is ringed by food carts with all kinds of different stuff. the coolest thing i saw there was right away as we walked in. one of the old brick buildings had like 6 stories, with the facing wall having 5 "windows" across. the side of the building was also partially visible and it had more like 10 "windows" across. turns out, these "windows" are open to the air and more like a balcony under an archway. in time to the music, each "window" was filled with people part of the show, dressed in red, swaying in time to the music. looked like something out of a dr. seuss book. surreal effect. i wish i would've brought my camera, but nomi had told me not to, and to wear only flip flops, store my watch in the safe, etc. i guess she was worried about "ladrones" because, again, the place was mobbed with people.

we force our way through, grab some beers from a corner guy. trying to give r2, i accidentally pull out r100 and they all laugh at the gringo. we're at this for 90 minutes or so, drinking probably 4 grande beers each in that time. she's got to [CodeWord134] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134), and we wait in a long line for the porta-potties. nomi's fairly drunk by now, and she burned some fellow partier with her cigarette while dancing samba to the christmas music, now she almost gets in a fight when some of the girls in front of her in line let a pregnant woman go in front. nomi then jumps to the front and goes in when the pregnant woman comes out. luckily, though they pounded the door some, the other girls let it go.

next, some food from one of the stands, but nomi spots a guy bringing around tequila shots and orders us 3. one each, one to share. didn't need that. cuervo regular. ugh. at least he had salt and lime. while we're eating shish kabobs and fries and, of course, drinking more beer, nomi is chatting away with a couple about tattoos and whatever else and she gets some food down the wrong pipe. ugly scene of choking, coughing, me thinking i need to try the heimlich on her (never done it) , running eye-makeup, tears, mucous, the whole 9 yards. a good minute of this. finally, she clears it and gets help cleaning up from me and the people she was talking with. the festival is ending, too (it's about 10:30 i think) , and it's definitely time to head out. taxi's were impossible. we tried for 15 minutes and nomi comes up with the "brilliant" idea of getting two moto-cabs (basically you ride on the back of a motorcycle with the driver). she tells them r5 each. oh shit. i'm a big guy. 250lbs. the drivers each tell me to go to the other one. of course they want nomi as a passenger not me. the unlucky loser finally tells me to get on, and off we go! shit, shit, shit, these guys are whizzing in and out of traffic at pretty high speeds, we're bottoming out as we go over crests and bumps because of the weight. wow. absolutely nuts. maybe only 5 minutes, but i never want to do that again.

we stop early. where are we? right by mambo and cafe del mar. i screw up again with only r100 to pay the moto guys so nomi goes to get change while the guys shake their heads at me. we settle, and nomi, pretty wasted now, starts walking us towards forro mambo. i ask her "didn't you not want to go here?" she says no problem, just drink and dance. problem is, it's only about 11pm and it's not open yet. so, we go off to zipi. it's only 11, but it was packed already. most tables were taken, but there was one near the stripper pole and mirrors, which i grabbed. tons of hot girls there. hope to get a chance to sample on another night. nomi spends a long time in the bathroom (she was still just in her shorts and tee shirt from being together all day. she didn't bring a bag) because her hair and makeup was in bad shape from the choking incident. i order beer from the same waitress as in august, we chat a bit. i see lots of familiar faces, and i'm hoping diana, another girl i kept in touch with but whom i didn't tell i was coming, doesn't show up. i did see julia, a little spinner from last time, but we haven't kept in touch, so it was just a nice hello, how are you. nomi comes out and she's in the mood for dancing. and making out. and pole dancing. and biting my neck and face. and tonguing me / making out a ton more. for any of you there last night, i apologize for the way-too-much pda. man, i thought she was going to do me right there in front of the mirrors at the back of zipi bar. every chance i get, i'm telling her, let's go home and make love because by now it was best to get out of public. we finish our beers and, thankfully, grab a cab and are whisked back to my apartment around 12:30.

first thing, cold shower. then hot sex for an hour. awesome, uninhibited, animal sex with all the noise and mess associated with such. it was intense! next, beer! damn, this girl can't stop drinking beer. and smoking. two packs between us throughout the night (she doesn't smoke until after dark. about 5:30pm. another funny time-based rule for nomi). i don't even smoke at home. feeling it now. soon enough, nomi wants to go out and grab some food. says it'll be quick. we walk all the way back (10 minute walk) to one of the little restaurants outside forro mambo. normal night-time scene out there: girls everywhere in and out of mambo and cafe de mar, homeless guys asking change, vendors with trinkets, etc. she orders us beer (of course) and two big bob sandwiches (like a burger with ham and egg and cheese. perfect order, actually, for all the drinking we'd done). we're watching ufc and she's hopping off to talk to a girl here or there that she knows. i notice diana sitting at a table behind me. i'm sure she saw me, but hoping not. ok, done and walking back, passing the transvestite and / or transsexuals along the way back, including a scene with some local guy, the police, and a transsexual arguing about something. he probably found something in "her" pants he didn't expect.

home at last. bed time. not so fast. nomi wants to drink more beer. i tell her to go for it, but i'm going to shower and bed. she pouts a little but is fine. she's watching musica tv and drinking / smoking and i drift off. not sure how much later, i wake up to nomi climbing on top of me whispering "eu quente. eu te quero, agora!" shit. not because she wants me, but i'm out of condoms, and she doesn't have any either. we're playing and moaning, but i'm trying to cool it off. she keeps whispering / moaning "eu quente" and she's on top and she slips it in. i tell her we can't, she says "eu quente" so i go with it, but pull out in plenty of time and unload. ok. done. what a day / night. this morning, she had a bad hangover, didn't remember getting food or our last little quente session together.

she left a couple hours ago, but said she'll be back at 9pm tonight. i may have a hard time slipping this one and checking out the scene a bit more, at least until after her birthday (which is monday). she has to go back to work tuesday, but i'm sure the garota gossip network will have my ass in hand for her when i get with another girl next week. assim é a vida.

Please elaborate on this part:

With one pretty hot but very young-looking one who was sort of off by herself in the kitchen chain smoking. It was quite a scene. Of course that part interested you.

I hope Jackson kick your ass.

Sounds like what I need. 15-18 whyear old where can they be found?

I had a question about this place, because several people mentioned it has a lot of programa girls on Wednesday nites. I went there twice on Wednesday nites, the first time in 2008, and the second time this past November.

Usually programa girls make eye contact or smile, or do something to let you know. This is true at Mambo, Zipi club and other places that have programa girls. I did not see this the two times I went to Armazem. So my impression was that the programa girls that were at Armazem the two Wednesdays I was there, were taking the nite off and just going to Armazem for fun and dancing, not to work. But other posters have said they really were working. If so, why the lack of eye contact or smile? Why were they not acting like programa girls that were working? I am not trying to deny what other posters have written. They may be right. I am just curious as to why the GDPs were acting different at Armazem than at other places. If they were working, shouldn't they let you know?

It's just a more casual scene. I was there once without my girl and approached / talked to several girls. All seemed to be at least semi-pro except one, who was clearly turned off by my conversation. I then went there twice with my girl (Nomi) , and, while she wasn't working because she was with me, she has worked there and greeted lots of her GDP friends there. I also recognized quite a few from Mambo, etc. Maybe because there's more of a mix of non-pros, the pro girls are less aggressive, too? Dunno, but they are there.

It was just an observation that the young-looking girl wasn't interacting much with the rest. She may or may not have been of age, but I wasn't interested in finding out.

My question is were they working that nite, or just going there to dance or whatever. (It is unlikely that every GDP there was working that night. Every person needs a nite off). I was only there twice, but I didn't get the smiles or eye contact that I got with the GDPs at other places like Mambo or Zipi, where they let you know.

Also, it is so loud in Armazem that it would be hard to pick them up even if they knew English. Much harder in Portuguese. They should give some signs if they are working. That would make it easier. We might try to pick up one who is not a GDP, but you think she is, since it is hard to tell which is which in Armazem, unless you live in Fortaleza, and already know them from other bars. Unlike places like Zipi, Cafe del Mar and Mambo, where you already know they are ALL GDPs. At Armazem you may be talking to a non-pro, and ask her how much, and you may get slapped! The combination of the loud music, the mix of working pros and non-pros, and also some pros who are not working that night, and the Portuguese language, make it very difficult to know who to approach. Much easier to know who to approach if they smiled or made eye contact as in other places. Not sure, but maybe it would be easier for someone who spoke good Portuguese. You are entitled to your opinion, but I personally found it to be a difficult place to meet GDPs. If I return in the future, I would only go to Armazem if I had a date.

No, I was sincerely curious about what other guys were actually doing to meet GDPs there, and how they avoid propositioning non-pros, and how they knew who to approach, (if we don't know which ones are GDPs). No one has explained it. By that I mean "a different approach" was not explained. The scene there seemed difficult, since GDPs at Armazem are not as forward as in places like Mambo club, and it is hard to tell the pros from non-pros. Especially difficult picking them up in Portuguese while the music is blasting. That is why I wrote this thread, just out of curiosity to find out what others were doing to meet GDPs there, and not to express dislike of Armazem. This is my final post on this thread about Armazem.

We're just about to leave here and head to Rio, but it was a lot of fun.

I'll give a brief run down of things from a newbie's point of view and hopefully other newbie's will be able to take something from it.

First night we headed to Zipi's and bearing in mind I haven't experienced anything like this as yet, it took us 20 mins or so to feel comfortable with how it all works.

I think Zipi's was all our personal favourite because it was more fun, whereas Forra Mambo seemed very business like with some clearly hardened girls in there. The girls in Zipi's are definitely more of a GFE type that will have no problem snogging your face off in the bar or back at the motel, indeed one of them had her tongue down my throat at the bar, a little petite but very lively girl called Daniella (25) who spoke good english. We agreed on 150 from an opening offer of 200, probably still a bit high but we didn't care as my mate pulled some other bird for the same price. Half UAE, half Brazilian. Gorgeous but a bit shy, with not much english. Back to the Village motel and quite shocked at just how secure and cool these motels are.

For any newbie wary of them, you go there in a cab, a big metal gate opens and closes straight after you and then you pay and get your key. In to the room where there's a nice big bed, mini bar, tv, music, air con. It's a god damn palace, we even had a jacuzzi on our 2nd visit. Dropped the girls back at Zipi's and went to bed with a smile.

Mambo's was very much a "sausage fest" as we say in England. Probably the time of the year and probably more hardened girls there this time of the year. However, it's a great bar with 3 floors and a roof terrace where you can check out all the action on the street below, which at times is hilarious.

Cafe Del Mar was dead as a dodo in my opinion. It also seemed to attract much younger girls, but it definitely seems to be struggling and Mambo's is absolutely hopping.

Like I say my favourite was Zipi's. Walk through the entrance, turn left and our spot was at the bar with the sofas just behind.

It's opened my eyes quite a bit to just how different these girls are, yeah they want money but they are genuinely friendly too, you just have to have the balls to approach them and you're good to go. Quite a few girls in Zipi's spoke some kind of English while we were there.

On last thing, JD mentioned the centro strip bar and nothing against him at all, but we got there at around 8 last night and the area seemed very dodgy. Even the taxi driver said "it's dangerous here" so we jogged on to Iracema and Zippi's again for a goodbye drink but no girls, as we're saving some cash for Rio now.

Many thanks to all who posted info, you made our trip exceptionally easy.

Mambo's was very much a "sausage fest" as we say in England. Just realised I didn't explain that. It means there were too many guys. No exaggeration to say on NYE there must have been 4 guys to 1 woman. We just got the hell out.

I spent the afternoon checking out the afternoon action in centro.

The boite Spídy mentioned, Espaço Show, is worth a visit. Praça dos Martires. The action starts around 3 PM. No entrance fee and no minimum consumption (even though the fat guy at the door says it's R$10). The place is low-end. A dozen girls. Maybe one or two might be doable, but the majority are just 3's and 4's. Programa is R$50/hour and R$10/motel room. The striptease is quite entertaining. The girls choose a couple of guys that gets the chance of doing some touching and licking.

Streetwalkers.

There are quite a few SWs working around Praça dos Martires. None is doable. Old, ugly, fat or drugaddicts.

On the market-square on Rua General Sampaio there were a couple of SW's. All ugly except one that actually was really cute. She wanted R$20/1 hour. The problem was that she insisted on doing the programa in the toilet in the church. No thanks.

The are some SW's working in and outside the porno cinemas in centro. None doable. I didn't enter any cinema so I can't tell about the quality inside.

Other SW's. There are some streets further away from centro that have lots of SW's working in the evening. I didn't try any GP.

A little update on the situation in Fortaleza.

GENERAL:
* It´s very hot. In January it has been raining more than usual.
* There are lots of brazilian tourists in Fortaleza. Among the gringos the italianos are in big majority.
* Apartment prices goes from more or less R$70 for a nice apartment in good location.

PRO-SCENE, NIGHT-TIME:
* PRICES: Many girls ask for R$100-150. Some gold-diggers might even ask for R$200. Negotiate and don´t pay more than maximum R$100. If it´s a short-time go for R$70.
* "Ho-crossing", discotecas: Cafe del Mar and Forro & Mambo. I find visiting Cafe del Mar to be unnecessary as most girls end up in Forro & Mambo later on. F & M, no entrance fee, but R$15 minimum consumption. F & M is a fun place with lots of girls. Very mixed quality, everything from the stunners to the fuglies.
(Note: I noticed that many gringos, specially the italians, are eager to impress the girls buying overpriced roses and junk from the street vendors. OK, but why buying beer for the girls in F & M? F & M gives free beer to the girls until 2 AM. Throwing away money...)
* "Ho-crossing", bars: The Reggae Bar, Party house, Kaipiras and a few other bars. The Reggaebar is one of my favourites. From here you have a total control of all the girls that arrives in the ho-crossing. Another plus is the beer price, R$5 for a 600 ml beer (even Bohemia) instead of paying ~R$9 for a longneck at the other places.
* "Ho-crossing", nearby: Zipi Bar. Zipi Bar starts earlier than the other places. R$10 entrande that includes a beer or a drink. Zipi is easygoing and relaxed. A nice staff with some nice women working behind the bar. The girls come her as a first stop. Propably the best place in Iracema to get a good deal for a session. However, some of the stunners don´t pass by Zipi, they go directly to F & M.
* Armazem: Wednesdays is the ho-night. The usual GP´s from Iracema and "once-a-week-pro's". Nice place with a feeling of being in a "normal place". Just don´t fool yourself, almost all the girls are pro´s.
* Crocobeach: Thursday evening is the party evening. Lots of people partying. Many GP´s and usually easy to find a non-pro. It has gone downhill a little bit.

PRO-SCENE, DAY-TIME, CENTRO:
* Praça dos Martires: Maybe a dozen women hanging out. None is doable. Old, ugly, fat or drugaddicts.
* The market-square on Rua General Sampaio. Search and you´ll find pro´s. Very low quality.
* Espaço Show: Praça dos Martires.
* Sensual Show: Rua Floriano Peixoto 1326. A daytime privé. When I visted there where 8 girls working. All of them where busy stuffing rice and faroffa into their mouths using their fingers, not very appealing. I didn´t see any tempting girls at all. R$60/30 minutes or R$70/1 hour.

PRO-SCENE, BEACH:
* The days are gone when you could meet a lot of nice GP´s at Croco Beach during day-time. There are very few GP´s hanging out.
* Beira-Mar: The beach and the barracas in front of McDonalds. Always a bunch of GP´s hanging around. Very mixed quality. Lots of just barely doable girls and a few gems if you´re lucky.

PRO-SCENE, OTHER:
* I have no desire spending a lot of money on Iracema-GP´s. Specially not competing with italians that seems to pay whatever the girls ask for. The last week I picked three GP´s in Beira-Mar during the afternoons. On the beach and on the sidewalk-area. Girls that normally works at Forró & Mambo. Chat them up, get a good chemistry and give them their offer. I payed them R$20, R$30 and R$40 for 2-pops-sessions. i know that might sound awfully little, but they all left happy.

NON-PRO-SCENE:
* Fortaleza has a good night-life.
I strongly recommend Mucuripe Club on Fridays. Huge place, 4 pistas and lots of people. Mostly white middle- and upperclass girls. Lots of welldressed beautiful women. About 80% of the women are doable.
Entrance R$ 30. Beer R$ 4,5-5.
http://www.mucuripe.com.br/
* Dragao do Mar: A couple of nice bars with ideal to meet non-pro´s.
* If you give Fortaleza a chance you´ll notice that it´s easy to hook up with non-pro´s. Girls with much higher standard than the GP´s.
* Where to meet the non-pro´s: You´ll meet them in centro, buses, markets, on the beach or when strolling in Iracema or Beira Mar. Local girls or tourist girls from Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia or BH.

FINAL NOTES:
* In Fortaleza you´ll meet a lot of stunning women, but be prepared for the opposite as well. There are lots of unattractive women as well. Short, chubby, big-bellied women with round or very squared heads glued directly on to their shoulders. Girls with necks are scarce.
* My advice: Meet a few nice non-pro´s. Get excellent sex for free with hot girls. Use the GP´s only when necessary.

So if I get you right, R$100 should be the price for TLN? I'm glad to hear this, since I haven't been there for more than three years, and this was the price in 2007.In general the girls ask for R$100-150. Most girls asking for R$150 quickly go down to R$100. A bit of negotiating and you might get the price down to R$70.

The girls that are hardest to negotiate are the absolut stunners that knows that they will get a high-paying customer, and also some of the ugly squared-headed ones. The squared-heads have almost no customers so they use brazilian logic and raise their price to earn more money.

Regarding the time-limit it depends very much on the girl and at what time you pick her. If she sees a chance to return to Mambo after your session she might not want to spend more than a couple of hours.

Yesterday I picked a nice girl at Zipi. She was asking for R$150 but we agreed on R$60 for a 2 hour session. 2 pops including anal and BBBJTCWS.

As I understood they can get pretty much as many beers they want until 2 AM, without vouchers. I think Café del Mar has the same rule.

It's good policy as it attracts many girls and the girls are not asking so much about you buying drinks for them. The guys have to pay R$8 + 10% for a longneck Antarctica. I thought of offering the girls R$5 for them getting me beers.

Comparing Fortaleza and Rio might be like comparing oranges and apples, as they are two very different cities.

Fortaleza is a pleasant city. Lots of beaches, nice restaurants and quite a compact city. Still it's not comparible with Rio when it comes to beauty, atmosphere, beach-life, shopping etc.

Fortaleza is a good city for meeting non-pro's. It also a safer city than Rio.

MONGERING:

The mongering scene in Fortaleza and the quality of the girls isn't what it used to be. The mongering scene is quite limited to SW in Beira Mar and Zipi, Cafe del Mar and Forró Mambo. Nonetheless I much rather monger in Iracema than hanging out at Balcony or the Prado Junior area in Copacabana.

The quality in Fortaleza is very mixed with cuties, pumpkin-heads and chubbies. You don't have the variety that you'll find in Rio with lots of dark meat. I rather choose a mulatta with a round ass than a shorty without a neck. Still there are enough of cute girls in Fortaleza to keep you busy.

The girls in Fortaleza are less hardcore than the Copacabana girls. They have a sweeter and more amateurish approach. Easier to get GFE with a Iracema girl than with a hardened Balcony-pro.

When it comes to day-time action Rio wins without doubt.

Pricewise Fortaleza wins. If you get a Balcony girl for R$100 you are supposed to be quite happy. In Fortaleza most girls start the bargaining with R$100 and you can get the price down to about R$70. Even less if you pick her daytime at the beach.

I like both Fortaleza and Rio. I would never choose to monger in just one city. Yet Rio suits me better as I prefer daytime mongering.

Tomorrow I'll be off to Bahia. Mulattas and negras with lovely round chocolate-bundas. Yummy!

* "The days are gone when you could meet a lot of nice GP's at Croco Beach during day-time. There are very few GP's hanging out.

* Beira-Mar: The beach and the barracas in front of McDonalds. Always a bunch of GP's hanging around. Very mixed quality. Lots of just barely doable girls and a few gems if you're lucky."

I also noticed that the daytime beach scene at Praia de Futuro beaches has few or no GDPs. I noticed this my last 2 trips. In Nov 2008 and Nov 2010. Not sure what caused it. In 2008 I asked one of the daytime vendors at the beach about it and he said there was a crackdown on GDPs at the beach daytime. He was the only one who said that though. Anyone have anymore info on this topic from someone in the know? By the way, someone told me that Boa Vida beach in Praia de Futuro has daytime beach GDP action (I think Boa Vida is near Coco Beach). Is it true that Boa Vida has GDPs daytime? If so, wonder why that is the only beach with daytime action. The current daytime beach scene is pretty sad, as having available GDPs at the beaches daytime in my first two trips to Fortaleza (2003 and 2005) added a lot of spice and fun to the trip.

Regarding the Meirelles early evening action in the barracas across from McDonald. I noticed in my Nov 2008 trip there were fewer GDPs there than in my past trips. In my latest trip in Nov 2010, I noticed more GDPs there than the previous time, but the quality (looks) of the girls was much worse than in the past. Just my humble opinion.

It might be necessary for me to spend a couple of days near Sao Paulo, and then hop on an airplane to the north. The only time possible is around Easter, so my question to the experts: is it "alta temporada", packed with (Brazilian) tourists? Would hotels only offer paquotes as they do for Dec 31st / Jan 1st?

GvAs always personally I'd recommend the Hotel Americas, a smaller hotel which is a bit old fashioned (colonial style). Just across the street you have the Hotel Casa Blance, more modern, rooms are a bit more expensive.

I payed like R$ 80 or 100 per night, no extra fee for the girls. But this was three yeas ago.

Both are in a walking distance to the Iracema bars.

Maybe I am there too. Again I'd like to ask the experts how is the situation around Easter?

gvthe casa blanca is 120 reales cash price. for superior (you don't want a smaller room) and gf. info accurate as of today. there are better hotels if you don't mind a more or less 50 reales guest surcharge. $ exchange rate, btw, at sedoc on mons. tabosa was 1. 69 yesterday.

at forro mambo and environs (for me) 90% of the girls are non-doable, even for free. anything longer than a week visit here, you end up doing repeats. the few good ones know who they are and don't show up 'til like 1:30. but, if you're someone who's willing to compromise, there are a lot of bodies in play on weekends. thing i like here is that many are in it for the fun and will spend time with you in the city, at the beach, whereever and don't mention cash. possibly because the are getting monthly retainer from their 'boyfriend' in italy or spain primarily. it's easy to make dates here with regular girls to go out: just look like something in her peer group and pick up the tabs (like everywhere). final random note: girls getting free beers at fm seems to be over for the moment.

as i have stated in previous reports, the ibis is gf, about $110 br and $20 br guest charge. they are renovating the hotel now and who knows what this will do to prices. i am in an updated room, face lift only. biggest problem is no in-room safe. i am not happy with this and i will not use a lobby accessible safe. i will figure something out for next time.

i was out one night and it was dead. i was told it is a slow time of year for tourists. i will go again tonight and get a better idea. i am getting 1. 6 per $ exchange at one of the change joints near the macdonalds.

don't get caught up on the rating systems others use about the girls. there are ones here for everyone. just don't pay over $100 br. it makes it tougher for me to negotiate.

btw. any good places to change money near the holiday inn? i have cash to change and not an atm / bank card.

in previous reports, the IBIS is GF, about $110 BR and $20 BR guest charge. BTW. Any good places to change money near the holiday inn? I have cash to change and not an ATM / bank card. The Ibis shows its price on a big sign outside. You can't miss it. Have to go inside to see how tiny the rooms are, but if you've seen one Ibis, you've seen 'them all. From Holiday Inn, walk to Mons. Tabosa, go right to SADOC a couple blocks on right before Praia Centro Hotel. 1.69 last week. Everytime I've been in Forta, they've always been a little above what is quoted by xe. Com. Bring your passport.

What ratings? Objective description of what is in play at any place is important: you don't want to go somewhere with outsized expectations or go under-funded. In Fortaleza, something can be found for low budget types. The top talent here (as everywhere) commands its own price.

Thanks G. Agreed about the size of the rooms, but if you cannot do an apartment for your stay, and need a GF hotel that is cost effective, IBIS is pretty good. I did the Casa Blanca a while ago and my local team I work with gave me too much crap about the area (I had no problems). IBIS is more acceptable to them. Gptta keep the peace.

I will try the SADOC for my next exchange. If that is the place across from the sandal shop, I have yet to see it open when I am not working.

As for the ratings systems, I agree with you 100, I said it poorly, but I have found that one man's 7 is another man's 9. 5.

Good quality and good value there. A chick put me on to SADOC. They always know. They can also recommend a chica friendly hotel for you as they've (LOL) seen them all.

The rating concept is useless. Here and always. Consider in Fortaleza when you come across a nice, thin young body only to see her turn around and show you that pitted complexion and those hardscrabble eyes. The talent pool is not deep.

GKIf it was a club with GP's it was propably Forró Mambo or maybe Armazem, even though none of them is that spectacular.

If it was a regular club it must have been Mucuripe. A great place.

I used to lived / worked in Fortaleza, seeing this thread reminded me how I used to go there with Brazilian friends and not once we've seen semi-pros! Armazen is no different than any US club. Maybe even worse. More guys, there are some women partying of various level of attractiveness, but it's not a place for P4P. The music is loud and it's just not the vibe for pickup. I've seen guys from Italy and Netherlands looking like models trying to get with women who were 6-7s at the most. They can do better in their own country for free!

The best way to find something attractive is to hire a taxi driver to drive around and pick up girls on the streets. They know where they stand. I picked up the most attractive girls this way for R75.

Also, what is the deal with that disco in Armazem. The one to the far left as you enter Armazem. Hi guys,

Pardon for the delay but here is my report of a 2 weeks travel in fortaleza in January.

It was the second time in there and I must admit that situation now is not very good, a lot

Of girls were missing and the whole panorama was not so interesting very much has changed in two years,

First night I was in Mambo, I've never been there before, there were a lot of girls but most of them were.

Seven and there were 2 or 3 eight but no stunners at all! I waited for some girl to catch my attention there

Was one dark skinned very gook body I wanted to stay a night and after some discussions I told.

Here I would pay 80 she was interested in me and so we made it. In the room she was crazy we made sex 4 or 5 times I don't remember but that's not a new with brazilian girls. After some days I spotted a very good looking girl sitting in a table at beiramar, she wasn't looking at me so I blinked.

An eye to her friend which I finally discovered to be a trans, but no worries my target was the other.

To summarize this girls was engaged with an old italian lawyer that was in fortaleza but I didn't care. I went one day out with her but I didn't have sex because she was too strange and she used cocaine like a lot of girls there. After two nights I met at a table in beira mar the tranny with a lot of garotas de programa, one of them Renata was I very nice blondie that made me go crazy to nights before making lap dance she asked me if "quer namorar comigo" I said yes I so I spent two funny GFE days with her but after that I pissed her of

Because I fucking italian kept calling her telling her that he was definitely in love she went made and she told me her mind was away and she asked me 200 reals but for this shitty attitude I told her I only hed 100, I spoke with her on messenger some days ago and she told me she is pregnant now, what a waste she is 19!

Last two girls were Monica and Jaqueline, Monica is a fortaleza girl married with an italian to keep things short we fucked one day and she keeps telling me to go and find her in milan. The other girl was a blondie one like Renata, not soo attractive though, she made me do everything I wanted, I paid her 150 reals for 2 hours but I paid so much because she was a friend of Renata and I wanted to left her some kind of "go fuck yourself" message. To summarize I didn't have problems finding girls but I go in brazil to find stunners and for this reason I won't go again in fortaleza, not to mentions that thanks to italian suckers girls now feel important and they are very stupid.

The truth is that a lot of european men, italians in particular are.

Literally harvesting fortaleza, filling women with a lof of money,

Now women are overvalued there and that's why I don't think is a good place to go.

I was at armazem and women preferred to be alone but almost no one came near to me.

Which for fortaleza's standards was very unusual.

Fortaleza is one the most monger-visited cities in Brazil. The majority of the mongers going there are Italians. The rest are a mix of Dutch, German, Scandinavians etc. There are direct flights from Italy so the Italians comes in large numbers. They stay for a short time and spend their money happily, resulting in overpaying the GP's.

Some of the GP's speaks Italian and are very happy for taking Italians as customer. However Italians have a bad rumour amongst the GP's in Fortaleza, resulting in that many GP's avoids having Italians as customers or only accept them when overcharging heavily. I always find it a great advantage not being Italian when negotiating with GP's in Fortaleza.

In Mambo, Café del Mar, Armazem etc I've often seen beautiful GP's choosing old, fat, badly-dressed European (non-Italians) men instead of young well-dressed Italian guys. Being Italian in Fortaleza might be a disadvantage.

As for age: young is 'more work' and less cash. No mystery in any of this; no need to take shots at the Italians here: they're in Forta to party. There is one kind of italian that pours some good money and goes away another kind, and there are a lot,

That bring them in italy marry them, fill them with a lot of money and then girls come back to fortaleza alone.

For vacation to do "programa", these girls become rich. Italians did the same with italian girls so it's not too good to see that destroy brazilian fauna.

Many of them are owners of hotels, pousadas, restaurants, bars, lanhouses, car-rentals, apartment-rentals etc. Actually the same goes for many cities in Brazil where the tourism is strong. The Italians quickly opens establishments.

As you mentioned, Recife had it's invasion of German tourists. Those German who chosed to live their permanently were a very sad sight. The hours they were awake they spent together with countrymen drinking heavily.

In terms of overall development and living I totally agree,

It's not a coincidence that one of most developed cities in brazil, Sao Paulo, has more than 6 millions of italians,

But coming back to women topic, former italians now brazilians that live in Sao Paulo treat women like.

Brazilians, italians that go in fortaleza come from a disastrous situation in italy where many italians go with trans.

Because women are frigid and because italians lack a pair of balls and worship even ugly women,

When they come to brazil they do the same they fall to the feet of first woman they find.

When they come to brazil they do the same they fall to the feet of first woman they find. That is only partially true IMO.
The way I see it, the root of problems is that somehow Italian men are more of horny dogs than others, either that or for some cultural reason they seem to give pussy more weight that it deserves.
They just flip out at the sight of one single pussy hair and would do anything to get some. Anything. This directly translates into way too much attention being directed to women and women being totally spoiled by it as a result.
This is the reason why Italian women see themselves as so precious and play hard to get as a result.
Getting pussy is more of a pain in the ass in Italy, and that's very sad, but in the end we all owe it to our fellow countrymen.
By contrast, look at Australians; all men care about over there is getting drunk. Women get not much attention and in fact they're about the easiest lays you'll ever get for free on this whole planet. Can't beat OZ when it comes to ease of getting pussy. But anyways.

For as much as we spoil women into monsters we also have a reputation for improving places and things where we mount tent, at least from the business and infrastructure point of view (an easy example being Ethiopia).

There always is a trade off it seems.

You seemed hopelessy lost so I just wanted to help out with some of your questions. I kinda felt sorry for you being rejected by the GP's at Armazem.

Checking up on you? Nope, I just saw the same questions 4 posts below. One of your recent posts specifically mentioned my earlier post in "January", so you must have been checking back then, not just my last post. Otherwise how would you know it was in January? So you must have plenty of free time to be checking up, despite your denial. And I didn't try to pick up the GDPs because I wasn't sure who was a GDP and who was a non-pro, so there was no rejection. (I did not want to mistake a non-pro for a pro.) In your rush to criticize, you were not really trying to understand what I had written. Regarding the loud noise at the disco on the left side of Armazem, and your snappy response that "all discos are loud". You are missing the point that things are a matter of degree. There is a difference between loud, as in the forro side of Armazem, where there is a chance of hearing something someone says, and the disco area on the left. The noise at that disco was way louder than most discos, no way to be able to talk to anyone there.

Lets forget easy-easy Brasil like mongering destination. The coundry became very expensive the last two years and the really beutyfull pros easy find customers brasilians to pay them the money that was paid by turist and finally they like the man of their race much more than any stupid turist. Be realistics from now and later only ugly pros you going to find in front of you and don't be surpise if you see brasilians mongers in Europe they have now a loy of money. For GENIO DELLA I think that the solution is to speak a litlle portugese and you can find in the correct places many women non-pro that are crazy to have relation with foreingers but never tell that you are italian for these women is a red flag.

In Naples, Turin, Venice, Rome there are about 6 million citizens.

You're a engineer. The percentage of girls is. 0.00333%. Very tiny.

And it's the same percent that you can find in Norway, Holland, Deutchland, and nobody of this people talks about COLONY.

Many girls stay in europe 1-2-3 months, no more, and after come back to brasil for other 3 months or more. Few of there come back in the same country or in the same town.

If they don't get married, can go in europe 3-6 times, but when are 24-25 whyear old they stay always in brasil, definitely.

Your achievements are very superficial. You've been in brasil 2 times. 2 weeks each time, and your sentences are incredibles.

Talk with italiens when you are there, and think a lot before writing in the forum.

I was in brasil about 15 times. 2 or 3 weeks each time, I met a lot of people, talked with italien men, with regular or GDP brasilian, but almost nobody is like you are writing. It's not a PROOF?

300-400 person talking with, having telefon number, address etc are a little bit trustful and different and from 20 profiles on facebook, isn't'IT?

So I'm boring a lot with your insignificant and improper post. Why don't you stop?

You wrote that many italien mongers are used to go with trans. ARE YOU CRAZY?The fact that many italians used to go with transexuals in Italy, is true; just like many germans, australians, english mongers are used to go with ladyboys in Thailand. This is the reason why Milan, Turin and all the major cities in the north of Italy are fully loaded with brasilian transexuals.

About italians is probably because that kind of "perversion / forbidden desire" wich is tipical of those who had a severe catholic education. Just like the countries where the concepts of discipline and order are more pronounced (Japan, England, Germany, etc.) you can find a huge SM scene with a lot of Mistresses ready to punish submissive mongers. It's a kind of "reverse side of a coin", I don't know, I'm not a psychologist but that's a fact.

About the colony of fortaleza girls in Turin and Naples instead, epic bullshit from someone who doesn't know a *

Forty, Marcostraight and Genio Della please don't discuss on these bullshit.

This is the typical Italian's way of doing, I hate it and I'm italian too.

We're on a forum and I think we've to write our point of view to help our virtual friend here.

I've been 4 times in brasil and every time for 3 weeks, I speak portuguese a little and I've the pleasure to stay with every kind of brazilian girls expect trans cause I don't like.

It's true that some italians go with trans, childrens and more but I suppose it's the same in other coutries.

And it's true that many brazilian girls live in Italy but it's not a colony it's a good number due to direct flight from fortaleza with a cheap price. The good quality of food, weather and life in italy. And the most important brazilian girl ask for something and italian boy do it for her.

Actually I'm living here in Italy with a girl that I met in fortaleza and she told me that the situation is very poor, if you want to find a very good-looking girl in fortaleza mambo is not the right place cause there are only the typical girls that came from favelas.

Now you have to discover the houses of massage cause brazilian customer pay 150-200-250 but he wants good quality girl.

If you want a cheap girl the mambo's zone is good cause brazilians don't like that kind of girl and now you can catch them for 50rs.

I hope to help you with my reply. For any answer please write.

Bye

Hi! Very good mongering experience in DR and Thailand, but newbie in in Brazil. I'm planning to come to Rio & Fortaleza for 2 weeks in September.

I'm reading a lot on this site, but can't understand the prices: What's the price for ST, and LT? Most of you say paying around 100R. Is it for all night long?

Nobody clearly make a distinction about ST / LT in this Brazilian forum. Why? Girls don't do LT there?

Is there a big difference between Rio / Fortaleza prices?

Thanks for a little explaination.

Is it for all night long?I haven't been there for too long now (more than 3 years ago). But then I was always paying 100 R$ for her to stay at my hotel and leave the next morning. There was only one "ST": that is because I have thrown her out for her lousy service and attitude! And then there was this keeper. Payed her once, and then she stayed for some days, just like friends on holidays.

Being Italian in Fortaleza might be a disadvantage.I'm Italian and never had to overpay anybody.

Having stayed in fortaleza for a month and being from the North of italy I learned from other italians from the north that there is a problem with the italians coming from Naples: Beside the fact that They make a lot of noise on the beach and wherever they go, since They are all young and nice looking guys and many of them coming from the underworld of Naples, they would like not to pay the girls and try to scam them.

Some girls told me that they don't go with italians from Naples becouse they don't want to pay and me to kept away from them not to be taken for them.

Hi guys,

After few years of sex tourism in Thailand I got a little fed up and willing for a change.

I started studing the Brazialian scene and I believe the best thing I'd like now is an experience in the termas.

Unfortunately, I realized Rio is way too much expensive for my budget.

I was considering Fortaleza as second best because cheaper, smaller, safer and with a possible connection for my accomodation (in order to save a little more).

Now, my question is: are there any termas in Fortaleza? If so, do they stand to the glorious Rio standards?

Actually, I already questioned an estimated user here and he answered no, no termas at all.

Can you confirm? Is that possible? Maybe there weren't last time he was in there and there are now.

Other than that, how do you get P4P in Fortaleza? Just freelancers in disco club?

Thanks

i used to lived / worked in fortaleza, seeing this thread reminded me how i used to go there with brazilian friends and not once we've seen semi-pros! armazen is no different than any us club. maybe even worse. more guys, there are some women partying of various level of attractiveness, but it's not a place for p4p. the music is loud and it's just not the vibe for pickup. i've seen guys from italy and netherlands looking like models trying to get with women who were 6-7s at the most. they can do better in their own country for free!

the best way to find something attractive is to hire a taxi driver to drive around and pick up girls on the streets. they know where they stand. i picked up the most attractive girls this way for r75.as sperto has already said, but it bears repeating, weds at armazem is the best game in town (post zipi) for gps. when i was there with my novia, she new just about everyone there and confirmed that nearly all the girls are gps. if they aren't, they're with a bf usually. also, you see the same girls you see at mambo / del mar during the rest of the week. street girls are almost always **** (again, confirmed by my novia at the time).
