Update on Natal.

* Natal vs Ponta Negra. Ponta Negra is definitely much more tourist friendly, but I prefer Natal and I stay in Praia do Meio. The only time I set my feet in Ponta Negra is when I run Natal-Ponta Negra. This is only an update on Natal. What happens in Ponta Negra doesn't interest me.

* Sightseeing: Sightseeing in Natal is very easy as there are nothing to see, except the beaches. There is a nice old Fort, Forte dos Reis Magos, in the end of Praia do Meio. Be very careful if you walk there. Muggings are very common close to the fort.

* Beaches: In Natal you have Praia do Meio which is a decent beach. Outside Natal you have Ponta Negra.

* Tourists: Mainly brazilians. Much less european charter tourists than it used to be.

* Nightlife, Praia do Meio: Praia do Meio/Praia dos Artistas had among the best nightlife in Brazil in the nineties. Places like Sax & Sax and Muralha were p*ssy heaven with lots of willing regular girls. Those places are history, cleaned-up. Chaplin is still there, but is no longer a boate, it only opens for eventos. Casa do Matuto has forró some weekdays. There are a little bit of action in some of the kiosks along the orla.

* Pro's, Praia do Meio: Much less pro's than it used to be. If you stroll along the orla you'll meet a few pro's. One block up on Av 25 de Dezembro there are some streetwalkers waiting for clients with cars. Be on your watch on that street at night-time.

* Non-pro's: The only reason I go to Natal. Non-pro's are very easy to score. I enjoyed one of the top five pair of large natural chocolate tits I ever had in Brazil. :) There are some cute girls flirting along the orla. Don't even think about doing anything without checking ID. If not you'll be able to watch the ongoing prison riot from an inside view.

* Safety: I feel safe in Natal, but be streetsmart and keep your eyes open. Right now there are a lot of shit happening with bandits burning lots of buses. The army is helping the police to keep the city decently safe.

If you want some action just go to the salsa street its plenty of girls to pick from, if you prefer escorts its plenty online. I really don't advise you to go to the praya do meio area like Sperto said without company, its a bit harsh neighbourhood I personlig witness someone Get kikkes there and have friends that speak good Portuguese and are well traveled getting robbed there, praya de meio is right next to favelas so be careful, taxi is a good life insurense. I lived 4 years there so I recommend you to stat at the pontanegra area for quick and easy action, locals are easy to pick up but a lot easier with some Portuguese.

Marc.Every place is a pickup place for locals, but its really easy to pickup girls at concerts, its always hanging posters of concerts so just go to one usually its about 5-10 000 people at this concerts and lots of girls ready to party, rent a VIP table cost you about 10 usd and the girls will try to contact you.

Yes, it is right, in Aquamarina Hotel you can take your girl with you. She doesn't answer my mails also. I have to call the owner of the hotel on the phone. She also rents some apartments on the other side of the street. There is a very beautiful big apartment complex. I also live there, it is really perfect if you want to have fun with all the nice girls. There is a big swimming pool in case you don't want to go to the beach, which is only 50 stairs down. I always have the best time of my life there. So I am thinking of selling everything and go to Natal for the next years. 4 weeks where not enough time to meet all the girls I wanted to meet. I have a nice girl (she got a child some months ago and is still lactating). She offers me always to present me some of her girlfriends. She has a lot of them and they are really nice. Arrived to the airport from Fortaleza and saw that the 45 km to Ponta negra was 89 RS on Uber. Played with my phone for 10 minutes and one driver came and told me that he has Uber but I refused and said that I am ready to go without Uber for 50 RS. He agreed.

Where exactly you want to go? Mmm go to Rastape club. We arrived to the nightlife area at 10 AM and I was looking with google map hunting for apartments which was pre-locked on may map. The motivation was to be close to nightlife and not to the beach. I was many flats with huge walls and electric wired on top. Tried to ring the bell. Nada.

I have recently returned from there, I was only there for 4 days but it is a bit dead.

I had to go to the website "coelhinhadobrasil", there are some good girls with services in Marsallis Praia Flat, there is also a club that I can't remember its name now in Lagoa Nova that has 6-7 women but they didn't meet the demanding Brazilian level.

Just some updated notes on Natal. In the nineties Praia do Meio had some forró clubs like Muralha and Sax & Sax. Forró clubs where it was impossible not get laid for free with local women. I even had two virgins. The scene changed after 1996 when charter tourism from Scandinavia arrived. The good clubs closed and more pro's arrived. Later the charter tourism stoppend and the nightlife went straight downhill.

I just stayed a few days in Natal last weekend. Praia do Meio is neat and relaxed with a decent beach and some bars. Ponta Negra is more touristy, but very exploited. I noticed some pro's working the streets in Praia do Meio, but none were doable. I didn't try the nightlife in Ponta Negra. Beware of vagabundos and bandits. Natal has the highest murder rate in Brazil and there happens some ruthless crimes.

I don't really see no reason to recommend Natal to anybody.

If you head to Natal you probably also will visit Praia de Pipa. Nice beachtown with first class beaches. You better bring a GF unless you'll have a go at the local or tourist girls. I did see a half dozen pro's in Pipa. Not ugly ones, but just about doable. Too much silicon.

Compared to the 90's and 00's it's very sad to see the situation in Natal and Ponta Negra in particular. Aside of violence and criminality not much action there any more. On the weekend Rastape with forro music is worth a visit, but it's not really a pick up place for girls although as everywhere in Brazil you have a good chance to find someone for the night. If you want to have a guarantee for a garota de programa you can go to Senzala Casa Show. Located between Ponta Negra and Natal. Entrance is 50 are $ and you can find about 20 girls inside, some of them quite good looking (some of them not). Negotiations start from 500 are $ for the girl, barfine for taking her out is 100 are $ or you can rent a room inside for the same price. Although it's open from 7 pm you may not have a good selection before midnight.
