Testing upon arrival would make zero sense. If someone tests positive what happens to everyone on the plane? What happens to the crew? The people who were in line at check in? The passengers on the same plane after the flight that the infected person came in on? And now, you have a positive person who needs to be isolated and quarantined. What happens to hotel reservations? Who will bring 2 weeks of supplies-food / prescriptions other needed items to the quarantined person? Who pays for that?? Do you think Colombia wants some positive test case that just arrived taking up their hospital space? What about false positives and false negatives?

Its either negative pcr test within 72 hours of departure + registering to a track / trace program and be required to have full medical travel ad evacuation insurance. Or quarantine 14 days upon arrival--with all the insurance and monitoring etc.JI,

I am just telling you what I read. If you test +, it is my understanding that you go into quarantine.

As for everyone else on the plane, "Two compelling case reports also suggest that masks can prevent transmission in high-risk scenarios, said Chin-Hong and Rutherford. In one case, a man flew from China to Toronto and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. He had a dry cough and wore a mask on the flight, and all 25 people closest to him on the flight tested negative for COVID-19. In another case, in late May, two hair stylists in Missouri had close contact with 140 clients while sick with COVID-19. Everyone wore a mask and none of the clients tested positive."

I think that you are assuming that one + passenger could contaminate a whole plane. That really has not happened. There have been a few cases of transmission on airplanes but it is very, very rare when people wear masks. Odds of catching the virus on a plane are between one in 5000 and 10,000, and I think that it is even lower than that.

And the hysteria has not been rolled back yet. I have a lot more experience with this virus than I have let on. If there is someone behind you in line at a supermarket, and you found out he tested + for Covid, and he was coughing near you, and you were both wearing masks, you would be terrified you would catch Covid right? That does not happen. I have been in the room with 10 Covid + people who have coughed in front of me, and we were both wearing masks and I have not gotten it, and neither have the people around me.

On the other hand, I had a son who had Covid bring his mother in, and he was not wearing a mask around her, and he was coughing all the time. So she had exposure to him quite frequently, and she did not feel well. I expected her to test + and she did.

Even people who get it are usually not that symptomatic, but they are sick in some way: fever, loss of taste or smell, body aches ETC. Asymptomatic transmission really does not happen. That is another myth that has not been corrected. Everyone I have seen who has Covid pretty much knows they are sick and who they have gotten the virus from.

I do not mean to blow it off though. You do see younger people who come in very short of breath, and in desperate need of oxygen. And one of the reasons this virus probably was made in a lab is you see blood clots in the lungs, legs, kidneys ETC that are seen with no other virus. The clotting and immune system response do lead to permanent damage. On top of that, the virus spreads by the air. Most cold viruses spread via fomites, objects that you leave the virus on like towels, clothes, surfaces. That is why masks were blown off at first and there was the emphasis on hand washing.

The only health care personnel I have seen who have gotten Covid have been doing 8 to 12 hours shifts with Covid only patients and one idiot doctor who would not wear his mask around Covid + patients who were coughing. It is not as contagious as you have been led to believe, and Colombian health authorities have seen enough of this virus now to realize what is really going on. When Colombia first shut down, they had very few cases. I am sure the Colombian health authorities were terrified at first like we all were, but they have a better grasp on what is really going on with it.

Can I buy medical insurance while I am in Colombia or do I have to buy an American plan. I will be in Bogota for about 2-3 months.

Nice post, sure there have been women, maybe lots of them, playing half a dozen gringos at the same time to send money but this is different. Many, many families are flying red flags in the window to alert authorities of broke and hungry families inside. The government was supposed to give every family 100,000 cop but many applied but few received it. Even if they did how far can 100,000 pesos go. They say when you give freely you will receive 10 fold. I'm sure your next trip to Colombia will be one of your best.I agree. When my friend tells me that she is feeding her 8 year old twins fried arapes for dinner, I sure as hell can take her to the store and buy her meat, rice, beans, oil, greens, etc. The current situation is more than grim, people are starving in their homes, or on the streets if they have been tossed out.

Would like to know where to find more hot girls with GFEs for cheap, and where to find good food ect.

Medellin has streets that are lined with hundreds of street girls, looking pretty hot. The Facebook girls also are interesting. Girls selection looks good.

I was planning to spend a week in Colombia, taking short flights between Panama City, Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena. I prefer to stay in a typical neighborhood and immerse in local lifestyles to living in all-inclusive joints.

Would really appreciate a 7-10 days suggested itinerary in Colombia to get the biggest bang for girls, food, funs, sights, recreation, cultural events, lifestyles immersion etc..

There is a lot in-depth information with downloadable pdf guides here at: https://www.colombia.com/turismo/sitios-turisticos/ Stay in El Laguito or Bocagrande area in Cartagena and in Poblado or Laureles area in Medellin. You should have a good plan / itinerary for such a short trip. As for food everyone has different tastes, and I find Mediterranean restaurants to be the best anywhere in Colombia. I can't comment too much for the bang for your buck, maybe your expectations are too high as there are no 'streets with hundreds pretty hot girls' Good luck!

Let us know how your trip goes.

Just a heads up, the food in Colombia is trash. If you eat at high end restaurants, you'll likely enjoy the food, but other than that I only eat at American brand restaurants when I'm down there.

Before Covid yes, girls were plentiful. Now it is just going to take a bit more effort since things have changed drastically.

Before Covid yes, girls were plentiful. Now it is just going to take a bit more effort since things have changed drastically.I could not disagree more. The food in Colombia is great! So many fresh fruits and vegetables-many you have never heard of or tried before. An unlimited supply (in normal times) of restaurants in all price ranges. Taco House--generic franchise of fast food Mexican has great cheap burritos. Zaaika Indian food is a nice medium priced Indian restaurant 5 minutes walk from Lleras. There are unlimited vegetarian restaurants an options which are great! Unlimited small cafes for coffee and pastries. Many places have a fixed menu of the day lunch special that will fill you up with incredibly high quality for for like 4 bucks for lunch.

I walk around Medellin and constantly find surprising and tasty and healthy food options in all price ranges. Heck, right in centro -very close to the 52 and 52 monger central corner is a vegan restaurant--on the 3rd floor of a building that does these veggie buffets for like 5 bucks that are absolutely fantastic, filling, high quality--and worth a stop when in downtown centro. Eat great high quality healthy food for cheap while overlooking th eplaza and the shenanigans happening down below.

In 14 trips to Medellin, I keep finding new and quality restaurants in Medellin. Any Exito or Carrulla will be filled with fresh produce to try. Heck, even fast food like Falafel Time makes a decent, quick, filling, tasty and healthy enough 4 dollar lunch.

I can't fathom how anyone could say a huge city like Medellin, surrounded by infinite amounts of farmland with veggies and fruit trees everywhere and full of a wide variety of ethnic flavors could say the food in Colombia is trash. That's just insane. Ymmv.

Colombian food tastes bland Compared to the highly salted and sweetened stuff offered by most US franchises. I just saw a story that Subway sandwiches aren't legally food in Ireland now, because the bread contains 4 times the maximum allowed amount of sugar to be considered a staple.

With the current exchange rate, menu del DIA lunches in most spots are less than $3, includes soup, salad, 2 or 3 side items, your choice of meat and fruit juice. I've found a few places where the food genuinely sucked, but at least 9 out of 10 I've been happy with.

Maybe we can compare notes. I have too many SA girls and I know there will be thousands more street "sweeties" in Bogota. Alas during December 15 - January 5 maybe not (since my concern is a lot will head home and be unavailable for Christmas week. I might take one on a trip. Or just sightseeing by myself near Barranquilla beaches for a few days. First week will be Bogota. Sex gets old after a week there. LOL.

Ideas about the timing around the holidays? Will I get tired of having too many options?

Your going to lose all your time checking in and out of hotels, and spending damn near half you time in airports. Flying to 3 cities in a week is 6 times thru customs and immigration, a royal pain in the ass especially now with all the Covid protocols. Also, if you have been to theses cities before you can hit the ground running, you'll know all the spots and have a few favorites you can hook up with within a few hours of arrival. If it's your first time in a city it takes a little time to acclimated by the time you remember your way back to the hotel you'll be on your way back to the airport. Having tried that years ago, I strongly suggest you don't. If you hit it off with a Bogoatana or a Paisa, a trip to the beach with her for a few days might be nice but you should rethink your agenda. Have fun.

Unless you are just sitting around idle for days at a time, then 1 week is plenty of time to visit 3 cities. See all you can see when you are there, so you know where you want to spend the most time if you come back. Seriously it takes 5 minutes to check in and out of a hotel. So for 3 cities that is a whopping total of 30 minutes. I sit on the toilet that long every morning.

You just have to plan ahead. The key thing you said is preCovid. I have traveled before and after and Covid in Colombia and Latinlover has been to Colombia after Covid, and it is different now than it was then. You are dealing with double and even triple the time it takes to travel in Colombia compared to what it was, and there are way fewer flights. Then there are hotels that are much more strict about guests than they were in the past. Then you have curfews, fewer women willing to go out. In a place like Cartagena, you better have something lined up in advance because what was the most popular area to meet women, the clock tower, is vacant of hos. And even if you do have something lined up, you will have women flaking and not showing up. In the past, Colombia blew Mexico out of the water in terms of your pleasure dollar but now with all the Covid restrictions I am not so sure.

Just to find a place that allows you can fuck multiple women is going to be some work let alone finding the women. Outside of traveling between Medellin and Bogota, I recommend staying in one place for now because there is no place in Colombia as easy for mongering now as it was.

And then landing at the next airport, baggage claim taxi to new hotel bla bla bla that's at least 5 hours plus out of your day. Added, this is his first time to Colombia, does he speak Spanish? It will take time to know the lay out, As far as immigration goes you may not have traveled since Covid but My Novia, A Colombian national, just flew from Bogota to CTG to connect on American to Miami and she had to exit the terminal once in CTG and go back into the terminal and although she was not checking a bag and had her boarding pass for CTG to Mia, had to go to AA counter and go thru security and immigration all over again. Before covid she could just exit the plane in CTG and go to her gate for AA flight. I've been traveling for 30 years and it has always been a pain in the ass, even flying Business. First it sucks, it takes away valuable time and your also assuming the flights are on time and any season traveler knows that can be a crap shoot. But hey do as you wish, JMHO.

I noticed that most of the rooms don't have windows which sucks, but on the other hand some of them have stripper poles! Some of them are not so cheap. I stay at hotels that are cheaper per day than some of these motels are for 4 hours. I have stayed at some in downtown Medellin for $13/day, but they are not the fancy ones you are thinking of. Most of these places are off the beaten path and in the middle of nowhere. So unless you want to call a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. Do the drive up ones even have a key? Usually you just pull up and the door is open for you. So if you leave maybe you have to get the office to open it up when you come back.

I don't like the windowless shit either. I was at one in the Dominican Republic with a chick that I used to mess with and started feeling claustrophobic because there was no window. I was like what kind of shit is this. She said baby this is just a box. It is a box for fucking. It is a fuck box. They are not too comfortable when you are not fucking.

The islands food is a no brainer, Seafood, arroz de coco and Breadfruit when in season. My friend in SAI tells me the island has been decimated by the lack of tourist this year and will take many years to recover. In Bogota however you can get tipico comida from every region in Colombia. Plus great 5 star restaurants that can rival any in the world, amazing Burgers why fries too. Little neighborhood spots with excellent Arepas why Caldo made from scratch. However, post-Covid what's open, what's closed, many restaurants' may not have survived. This virus has turned our hobby completely upside down in more ways than just the women.

I read today that anyone entering Panama needs a 48 hour, keeps getting shorter and shorter time frame, PCR test. I'm flying Copa and connecting in Panama to and from Colombia. So here's the question. Does that include passengers on a short layover? I think I know the answer but I'm hoping I'm wrong. If true, this can be a cluster fuck getting the test here in the states now 4 days is too long so if true I will need a test within 2 days of travel from here and then another test in Colombia to travel from Bogota on my Panama layover back to the states. If so I may just bag the whole trip, too much aggravation. Or fly another airline.

I read something about that a few days ago, but can't find it right now. An example, when I read the article, foreigners were not allowed to enter Panama (except for the normal exceptions), but foreigners were allowed to transit through the airport with no overnight stays. On Copa's website, it states your temperature will be checked when arriving at PTY, but nothing about the PCR test.

Panama September 24, 2020

You don't need to clear customs. If you are passing through, it is not necessary to clear customs. Panama is a hub and spoke terminal for Copa. If you are going elsewhere, I. E. Colombia, Brazil, etc. , you don't need to clear customs.

Anytime an international flight arrives in another country, you are not allowed to wander around the airport, usually you are funneled into immigration. But I'm not talking about customs, I'm talking about immigration. Anytime an international flight arrives in another country, you are not allowed to wander around the airport, usually you are funneled into immigration. You are only funneled through immigration if you are staying in that particular country. If you are making an international connection then you are funneled to another area before you get to immigration and are not allowed to go outside. You will see a sign that says international connections before you get to immigration. You follow that sign.

You are not actually in a country until you have passed through immigration. And because you are not passing through immigration and entering the country then you do not need whatever they say you need for that country. Some countries do make you obtain a transit visa to pass through the country though. There is no such thing as only going through immigration and not going through customs too.

You are allowed to wander around the airport because most countries have it where immigration is after the arrival/departure area on the exit side and before the departure area on the entrance side, so there is no way to go outside without going through immigration on either end when you are in the international area.

I've flown Copa at least 100 times. It's just like if you are flying on Southwest or any other US airlines. Your bag is checked in to its final destination. No need to pick up your bags in Panama if you are just passing through. You land in Panama and before you land you are asked if you are staying in Panama or passing through. If you are passing through, you get out of the plane and go directly to the gate for your next flight WITHOUT going through immigration OR customs. Or / and you can co shopping. You find your connecting gate and move on; no need to go through immigration if you are NOT staying in Panama. It isn't Mexico, they do that stupid shit sometimes, but not in Panama.

But I'm not talking about customs, I'm talking about immigration. Anytime an international flight arrives in another country, you are not allowed to wander around the airport, usually you are funneled into immigration. As far as aduanas goes I think my checked bag will continue on if it's just a layover. Has anyone flown a connecting Copa flight yet, I would to know your experience post China virus.

You are allowed to wander around the airport because most countries have it where immigration is after the arrival/departure area on the exit side and before the departure area on the entrance side, so there is no way to go outside without going through immigration on either end when you are in the international area.LOL, he should have booked a ticket on spirit, they fly nonstop to Colombia. He wouldn't have to worry about going to immigration in Panama which is nonsense.

JI,

I am sure the Colombian health authorities were terrified at first like we all were, but they have a better grasp on what is really going on with it.I agree with you. Masks are the best protection.

It isn't Mexico, they do that stupid shit sometimes, but not in Panama.I have filled up 3 passports with international stamps, one with added pages, they did that in the old days. I know how things worked antes COVID. I'm asking because, Panama has the 48 hour test rule. MORE restrictive than Colombias, and My novia flew Avianca last week from Bogota to Ctg to connect on American and onto Mia. AND they made her exit from the airport in Ctg. And go back into the airport to the American counter to be processed all over again. Before Covid, as a Colombian National, IN Colombia she would have gotten off the plane and walked over to the AA gate. She was already checked in for the Miami flight, She was not checking a bag and she had her boarding pass. Colombia does crazy shit like this and I'm just hoping Panama isn't doing the same shit SO I'll ask again Has anyone connected in Panama SINCE the reopening of international flights last month. Thanks.

Vivaair has a special coupon flight pass sale where you can buy 5 or 8 flights at a fixed price. The 5 flight pass book costs 575 k which seems like a pretty good deal for flying domestically.

The downside is that you have to call their call center anytime you want to use one of the coupons for a flight.

What do you guys think? Anyone have any experience with these types of passes? Am I going to spend an hour on the phone each time I want to book a flight with a coupon?

https://vivapass.vivaair.com/en-co/vh/flypass/select/domcoThat does sound like a good deal.

I had my credit cards points changed into LATAM airlines miles. It was enough points to do basically what you are describing. I flew all over South America with those miles. However, I did spent hours upon hours on the phone with LATAM, booking flights, them messing up my flights, etc.

The deal you're describing is so cheap though. It sounds too good to pass up. I would call their phone number a couple times to get a feel for what type of customer service they provide.

https://vivapass.vivaair.com/en-co/vh/flypass/select/domcoRead the fine print. Viva has a ton of little fees. When I booked the final price was double what I originally thought. The only airline where they have measured my carry on and said too big (have used the bag all over the world). There is a fee for normal size carry on, checked bags, taxes, I think there is even a fee for a printed out ticket.

Not trying to knock Viva, the airline was fine and I'd use them again. Just understand the way their promotional fares work before committing.

They are not too comfortable when you are not fucking.Your claustrophobia must be worse than mine.

Honestly I've done this a shit ton of times in Colombia, including in downtown MDE. Never paid more than 50 k for 24 HR. Your point about checking the location is a good point though.

Can you guys post some links to these websites where your are contacting the chicas? Most of the Colombia forums discussion is around the club scene and I am not the partying type or interested in that kinda game.

Google just gives me links to all inclusive sex resorts with different packages, LOL. I am planning to travel for a week next month and the idea is to meet 2 chicas a day for couple of hours.

I am looking for some reliable agencies who offer GFE and low profile sites where college girls work UTR. I highly appreciate your help with recommendations, links and suggestions.

I have been to couple of different countries and discussions on this site helped me immensely to find UTR sites and top notch agencies. For the life of me I am unable to find anything in the Colombia forums going back 50 pages on each thread. If you want something real and more exclusive it is also more expensive but 100% reliable. Hello,

Long time lurker. Have mongered all over the world (US, other parts of LatAm, Asia, Eastern and western Europe, Africa, etc.).

Have been to Bogota before. Will be back in Colombia in December for a few weeks of R&R. Need to go to Bogota to visit an old friend. Where else should I do? Candidates are Medellin, Cali, Cartagena.

About me:

+ Generally price IN-sensitive. Generally pay for a bit higher end ladies, and don't mind. Often use SA and other sites to find semi-pros / non-pros. I'm fine doing the legwork.

+ Enjoy exploring new places in addition to sexy time with ladies.

- Medellin I noticed has some great cycling (I like to ride bikes! I think I am fit enough to go on long tours through mountains; noticed options are available). And more of a mongering scene. Are there high end restaurants? Other cool stuff?

- Cali would be hotter weather. I hear more energy?

- Catagena. Tourist sites. Worth it?

Probably only one place in addition to Bogota. Thoughts?

Thanks for the help!

I need some info guys. I'm considering going to Colombia (Cali) in December. But my problem is the 96 hour requirement to have a Covid 19 test within the time before the flight. I live in the Fresno, CA area and have called 4-5 testing labs to get a test and results within 24-36 hours. All these testing labs had some hoops for me to go thru and it wasn't worth it. I have called my personal doctor and hope he can do the test and get me results fast. And other ideas?

Thanks.Artisttyp -- One place asked me what type of medical insurance I had, and I said I was with the VA hospital. They replied that they couldn't take a government funded insurance plan. It had to be private insurance only. I replied that I would pay with cash. They said they wouldn't take cash.

Another place said they wanted me to go to my doctor and get a swab. Then take the swab to their lab for processing. I figured my doc would never go for that. 2 other places couldn't guarantee a quick results turn around in 24-36 hrs.

Any ideas?

Any ideas?Yes, do a self pay at an urgent care clinic. Or google 'Covid-19 test xxxcityxnamexxx' to see options near you. Use check or credit / debit card if they don't accept cash. In my city there are numerous options with price being $110-$150 for self pay PCR test.

For the past two days, I have not been able to get money from an ATM using my Schwab card. I have a backup card, and I tried it yesterday with the same results. I have tried six different banks' ATM's. Five of them rejected almost immediately or after entering my PIN. Bancolombia is the only one that took a long time before reporting technical problems. I have seen locals not being able to get money, and I have seen some get money. I suspect it is a problem for most people because there is never more than one or two people in line at any ATM I go to; most have no line. Also, there are a lot of receipts in the trash container by the ATM.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm hoping it's just a minor glitch in the banking system.

Hi guys, I'm on the KLM website checking requirements before booking the flight to Medellin and it links out to the TravelDoc website. As you will see in the screenshot it says Conditional to Board and then lists then requirements.

All makes sense apart from the bit that says you must have already organised authorised transport if your final destination is not Bogota otherwise you will have to stay up to 24 hours in a hotel until such transportation is organised.

Wow what does that even mean, take it this information is pulled from official Colombian sources? Are they talking about official transportation from the airport to the hotel and what counts as official, I think this information is really vague and I would hate to get denied boarding without meeting all the requirements.

Can somebody please shed some light on this.If you are not staying in Bogota, for example, if you are going from Bogota to Armenia, you need to pre-book your flight or your bus ticket. If you haven't done that, they will require you to stay in Bogota for 24 hours. If you are staying in Bogota, then it doesn't apply to you.

CTG? MDE? Bogota?Almost everyone leaves for the playa if they can at that time. If you have a girl, go to Rio on NYE and wear white, it's a great time. However, historically it's not a good time for mongering. Before Christmas you'll find lots of hot mommies looking to earn some money to buy Christmas presents but after that, they mostly will stay home with family if they can't get away to a lake or beach. BUT. Who knows what this fucking Covid will do to alter the normal situation.

Know some basic words like "chica", "mil", and numbers will help. Mil is a thousand which you will hear in everything related to price. Casas and strip clubs are more or less point and click so you should be fine there. The girls and waiters in La Isla are used to foreigners so you shouldn't have problem there. They exist, but most of them are limited to "okay baby." Around Parque Lleras most girls will be comfortable with using Google Translate. To get around use the Didi app or Uber. That way you don't need to try and explain where you're going to the driver.

Hey Guys,

For my upcoming trip to Medellin I'm thinking of doing something a little different and travelling with a box of tricks. I know quite a lot of mongers travel with sex toys etc but I always a little concerned about what the girls might think.

For those that bring sex toys and oils etc to Colombia how do the girls react to this, are they receptive to it and does it make the sessions a lot better.

Also as this week is Black Friday and the sales are on what type of vibrator do you recommend I bring, something discreet enough to travel with that the girls might be used to and be happy to use?

Also as this week is Black Friday and the sales are on what type of vibrator do you recommend I bring, something discreet enough to travel with that the girls might be used to and be happy to use?Do it! They love it!

I have a variety of vibrators and other tools of the trade and I keep them at the ready in my apartment here in Medellin.

I also have started bringing them with me on my trips through Colombia as you never know when you need them.

Some of my favorite chicas whom I have seen before here in Medellin comment for me to have my "equipo" hehehehe ready as they want to come over and "relax" at my apartment with me.

Yes I have found that 90% of the chicas are more than receptive and matter of fact they strongly demand that I pull of the vibrators hehehhe, most if not all are very comfortable with there bodies.

So my advice is to not limit your self to one particular kind or size of vibrator as the different chicas have there individual preference so I have about 5 different styles and sizes and I will then explore which one the girl likes best. This is half the fun as I explore the various equipo and it usually is that they like two of them at the same time.

And no need to buy anything before you come as there are some good sex shops around Medellin.

Have fun.

The Tall Man.

The Tall Man.The Tall Man its good to hear from you and that is such an awesome answer to my post. I'm used to mongering in Asia where a lot of the girls surprised me when they asked about sex toys but unfortunately there are no sex shops there, so to hear there are plenty in Medellin is good to know.

If you plan on multiple trips in a short period of time or multi-destination trip when you re-enter Colombia, you may consider planning on a contingency of reinstating the mandatory tests and a 14 days quarantine.

The government and the Ministry of Health clearly have different views on the issue, and the judiciary plays its role.

Here is an example of a recent lawsuit which may lead to it. We shall see how the government reacts.

Cali Mocoa Popayan or Pasto.

But even then I really don't like that time of year here. NYE is especially boring.I would be a first timer in Colombia. Vacation is most convenient around December 18th to January 3rd for me.

Sure it might not be the best time of year. But will it still be fun for a trip this length? I'm planning on booking flights anyway. I believe it would be "better than nothing" still. I am coming from the USA, so I'm also looking for a destination that is still open for tourists from here.

I was still planning on hitting the big cities if I went (mainly medellin but also few days in Cartagena and Bogota). Should I be going elsewhere (like Cali), even for my first time in Colombia?

I'm just trying to get a feel if it is worth going to Colombia at all. Remember I am starving since travel has been dead due to covid.

Any and all advice is much appreciated!

Almost everyone leaves for the playa if they can at that time. Please see my previous reply to this thread. I have many questions about Colombia around Christmas and new years.

When you say pretty much all of Latin America is dead during this time, would you include Tijuana? Just a question, because I am only familiar with Tijuana (for Latin America at least).

Tijuana around Christmas is obviously not as good as other times of the year, but it is still very much fun for someone that doesn't get to monger too often (few times a year).

I'm curious if you think Colombia is still worth it, or if you have any other destinations in mind for a Christmas vacation? Needs to allow tourists from the USA also haha!

Thanks!

As I pointed out a week or so ago the peso exchange rate is Down to 3605 and sinking. I'm in Bogota now so I might as well grab a few million at the ATM today before it goes any lower. I truly believe it can sink as low as 3000 in 2021. Regardless of the vaccine.

Hey everyone,

I'm about to book my trip for the first time, and after RTFF, I'm just worried my time in Medellin will be rough if I don't speak any Spanish. Is it hard finding a girl who's fluent in English? Or, will I just need to suck it up and hope it's not weird whipping out Google Translate non-stop?You should at least attempt to learn some basic phrases. Duolingo is a free app.

There are numerous reasons why currencies fluctuate relative the USD; however, I don't think the success or failure of the vaccine is one of them. I think most forex traders are predicting a gradual strengthening of the dollar next year.

I recommend liquidating everything and buying a combination of Colombian pesos and marijuana edibles.

Pre-pandemic, late last year the rate briefly flirted with the 3400 mark, after spending the previous 3 years bouncing above and below 3 k. At the beginning of the lockdowns it leapt up to 4 k and has been trickling back down ever since. It spent the previous 3 weeks near 3650, before the slight drop to just over 3600.

Without something more to go on than the doom and gloom attitude you've been expressing for the past 2 months, there's no reason to expect the rate to continue in its current direction for long.

Thanks! Is Colombia still worth it? Probably not if you're a first time visitor, coming over Christmas, and trying to visit 3 or 4 cities in just over 2 weeks during a pandemic. Especially if you're only interest is to fuck as much as possible.

What preparations have you made? How's your Spanish? What's your budget? Are you interested in doing other things?

If you're experienced with a country, bouncing around the cities is easier. You've got your bearings in each place, you can hit the ground running and move on. But in an unknown city, where language might be a problem, some guys can do it, but most are going to lose a lot of time, just handling the basic logistics of getting from the airport, settling in and learning their way around.

There will still be women available. Poverty and prostitution are joined at the hip, and poverty doesn't take holidays off. There will be less options, especially for someone without connections, but they can be found.

Many mongering spots will be closed or have fewer girls working.

However, if you pick at most 2 cities for your vacation, start today to making connections and learning a little Spanish (if you don't already know it), it's worthwhile.

What is your theory? There are numerous reasons why currencies fluctuate relative the USD; however, I don't think the success or failure of the vaccine is one of them. I think most forex traders are predicting a gradual strengthening of the dollar next year. This is from the WSJ: The dollar hit its lowest levels against a basket of currencies in more than two years this week—and investors think it'll fall further.

The consensus view of a falling dollar is based on a big assumption: Covid-19 will be more or less conquered in the months ahead. Vaccines will allow economies around the world to return to normal within the next year, encouraging investors to step back from the relative safety of USA Assets and invest in stocks, bonds and currencies outside the USA.

End of quote.

The stronger dollar has made some international assets very attractive. I would also cynically point out that the media attempts to use Covid to destroy Trump are now almost over.

You had the vaccine announcement that just so happened to be after the election. Then you have this study:

When Briand looked at the 2020 data during that seasonal period, COVID-19-related deaths exceeded deaths from heart diseases. This was highly unusual since heart disease has always prevailed as the leading cause of deaths. However, when taking a closer look at the death numbers, she noted something strange. As Briand compared the number of deaths per cause during that period in 2020 to 2018, she noticed that instead of the expected drastic increase across all causes, there was a significant decrease in deaths due to heart disease. Even more surprising, as seen in the graph below, this sudden decline in deaths is observed for all other causes.

In other words, the effect of COVID-19 on deaths in the USA Is considered problematic only when it increases the total number of deaths or the true death burden by a significant amount in addition to the expected deaths by other causes. Since the crude number of total deaths by all causes before and after COVID-19 has stayed the same, one can hardly say, in Briand's view, that COVID-19 deaths are concerning.

End of quotes.

This data only went from February 2020 to September 2020 and it could have easily been done prior to the election. Again I expect these numbers to be quoted ad nauseam once Trump gets out of office.

The inflation of Covid cases right before Biden gets in also seems to be timed such that when Biden does gets into office that we see a massive decrease.

Again, the libtards and Demorats will want to debate these points but money talks and BS walks. The famous quote that the market is a short term voting machine and long term it is weighing machine is truth. I would be stunned if the media fear porn does not lighten up once Biden gets into office.

The rise in the stock market, stronger COP are all saying investors are moving out of the dollar and into other places. The dollar will always go up when there is a crisis but eventually it comes down to fundamentals.

In that case, what is it going to take for investors long term to put money into Colombia once the voting machine is done and the weighing machine kicks in? Is Colombia an attractive to place to invest and produce goods and services? IMO the answer is hell no.

"In 2018, Colombia exported goods worth $41.8 billion around the world. Crude and coal are by far the largest export commodity in Colombia. They constitute about 57% of the total export value. Crude petroleum takes the larger share while coal and coke briquettes trail in second.

The oil markets will not be in balance for at least 10 years and more likely 20 years from now. Venezuela and Libya are producing next to nothing, and Iran's production has been halved. Official spare capacity is 10 million BPD and unofficial capacity is probably twice that.

The rest of Colombian exports (gold, flowers, coffee) cannot be increased to an extent to make a dent in the destruction of oil demand for at least 10 years, so the COP on a real basis will go nowhere but down once this viral bump is over.

What people are missing is that Colombia is not alone. The most prosperous third world nations for the most part have been driven by commodities and mostly oil. What they are going to have to do is raise interest rates to enough of an extent that investors are enticed into putting money into the economies of these nations. These higher interest rates will be devastating to the economy of these nations.

So even though we will see a short term bump, long term, the American monger will be in the pink for a long time. Colombia and a lot of other third world nations are going to be fucked for decades.

To me if the federal reserve is buying up treasuries issues by the gov't which the gov't then spends, that's exactly what they are doing. I think the poster above's point is that he expects more of that with the incoming administration. If you look at the overall dollar index since Nov 4th its down about 3-4%. Back to politics I see, as in it's all about Trump, media conspiracies, whatever. Give us a break and let's move on.The greatest story not being told is that America has gone from the largest importer of energy in the world to an exporter. From the American mongers point of view, this is great news. For the next 20 years, our dollars are going to buy a whole lot more pussy than the last 20 years.

Also, the surge in American oil production has led to unthinkable things happening like real peace in the Middle East.

Tell me Zeos, do you even know WTF I am talking about? To someone like me, this story is largely ignored or not given emphasis because the media is not going to report on or emphasize news that makes Trump and perennial media whipping boy Jared Kushner look good. To someone like you Zeos, who does not believe in media conspiracies, the only explanation is that the story of peace in the Middle East is not newsworthy or better yet is not happening at all.

If anyone is feeling charitable, the craziness and tumult of 2020 have forced me to re-evaluate my life (like most of us). I have decided, post-Corona--maybe around 1 year from now, I want to move to Medellin--and live there for 1/2 of each year. Maybe eventually full time. But for now, 1/2 the year.

BUT, I have to make some $$$ while living there. Any ideas? Does anyone have any information about how to find / train for online / remote work options? Business ideas for Medellin? It seems like all 'local' jobs do not pay at all. So, the trick is to find ways to make money from a non-Colombian based company-while living there. Or figuring out some import / export way to make money-legally! Other friends who know Colombia tell me owning a business there is a nightmare. But, its got to work for someone??

So, any ideas? Thoughts? I figure I need to make about 3 k a month to live the lifestyle I would want to while there. I know people can live there for cheaper.

So, where are all the smart people at? I need help! LOL.

So, any ideas? Thoughts? I figure I need to make about 3 k a month to live the lifestyle I would want to while there. I know people can live there for cheaper..The people I know who are successfully living in Colombia all had the financial side taken care of before making the move. Either they had income from a pension, trust fund or investments, or had a job which was not location dependent. Going down there without that safety net in place almost guarantees your plan will fall apart.

I wouldn't recommend trying to start or run a business in Colombia until you've been living there for a couple of years, unless you've got enough money you can afford lots of expensive mistakes.

What skills do you have which can be sold over the internet? Computer programming, Web design, writing and consulting are all possibilities. Teaching English is an option, but you'll be competing with a lot of college students who are getting by on $500 a month.

I'd suggest finding something you can do remotely and get started doing it, while you're still doing whatever you're currently doing for money. Work it in your spare time and save the extra money. Prove to yourself you can earn enough to support your plan.

You're also going to need to decide where you'll spend the other 6 months. Are you planning on liquidating everything (property, furniture, car) and living out of a suitcase, or do you require the security of always having those things available to you?

I would also revise what you need to live the lifestyle you want. If you think you need $3 k per month, I suggest having at least $5 k per month, unless you're really good at sticking to a budget. If something comes up and you need an extra $3 k one month, it's a lot easier if you've been banking $2 k a month for the previous 6 months.

If your Spanish needs some work, you should take classes until you're able to converse easily. Another thing to consider, if being a full time resident is your goal is how to qualify for a visa which will let you earn residency.

However, if you pick at most 2 cities for your vacation, start today to making connections and learning a little Spanish (if you don't already know it), it's worthwhile.I am doing my research as we speak! My Spanish is nowhere near fluent, but it is mediocre. I took Spanish in high school, and I have visited Tijuana many times for mongering. I can shoot the shit a little bit with the girls, but often need to use google translate for a specific noun or verb. I can actually also read and write Spanish decently (fast talking or accents can throw me off, even if I would have understood it if it was written down).

This would basically be strictly a mongering trip. No sightseeing really, unless I got bored one day or need to do a couple of things for show (take a few pics to prove to friends and family that I did "something. " Oh also, my budget is fairly high. I am very much willing to pay a little extra for luxury or convenience instead of looking for the best deal (not a cheap charlie). That being said, I'm not trying to light money on fire also.

I have a few fellow monger friends that have already given me the rundown on Colombia, and I am doing a bunch of research right now. I was hoping to reach out to members on the board too for more specific information or to meet up (I just paid for the ISG membership). I would happily pay a experienced member (in beer or cash) on the board to guide me or wingman me for a bit in Colombia. But I definitely have friends I can reach out to, even while in Colombia, that would help me out. I will also be researching like a maniac all the way until my flight too.

I was planning to limit the number of cities I visited and only the big ones. I had planned a few days in Cartagena, most days in Medellin, and a few days in Bogota. I can likely cut it down to 2 cities if that is what is recommended. But which two? And how many days in each? It looks like I would have about 16 days in Colombia.

And for what it's worth, I am not new to mongering, just new to Colombia. I have been to Thailand / Philippines and know how it works there, and I have been to Tijuana even more than all other destinations. I think I can negotiate with freelancers well enough in Spanish, and I know the basic rules of mongering and not getting fucked over. My favorite past time is drinking / partying with hookers and eventually having sex with them. I do that with bar girls and freelancers both. I'll definitely do short time sometimes, but prefer a good connection and long time. And if it matters, I'm also young (32) and not actually fat at all. I'm fit, but I am still definitely a clown haha. I'm also not white, I'm really light brown skinned and have black hair.

From what I have read, the days right around Christmas (and on Christmas) would be super dead, but girls should likely be available all the other days. I very much understand that it wouldn't be the ideal time to go, but I am also horny. No mongering in almost a year now! I think I might still have to bite the bullet and take this trip, also because of holidays at work, this is the only time of year I can take a nice extended vacation.

I'm rambling a bunch, way too much information. Thanks for the help and let me know if you have additional input!

This question is always asked about monger places. I want to go live there, but how can I make a living.True. And usually its just bored people with unrealistic hedonistic fantasies.

I moved out of the US 10 years ago and live near Colombia. But not IN Colombia. So, for me, its not such a bold-or unrealistic-move.

The people I know who are successfully living in Colombia all had the financial side taken care of before making the move.

Prove to yourself you can earn enough to support your plan.Great reply! I appreciate the thoughts, time and wisdom you offer. I speak Spanish-nearly fluently. My Colombian friends say I am fluent--speaking is a bit easier than listening for me. -but I am close to fluent. My current occupation is not an option in Colombia. My 3k is inclusive of 'emergency funds' being accounted for. I hope to use the next year to develop skills needed to work remotely from a computer--that's probably the main thrust of my question. How to begin that process. LOL.

I agree about not starting a business until there for years. Again, I live outside the US and have for 10 years--I am well versed in most of these thoughts. My concern is just the specifics related to income ideas for Medellin.

I don't have much to liquidate and would split my time between where I am now (not important) and Colombia. I am 90 ish minutes by plane from MDE now so, I'm close. But in 2020 so far away!!

On the plus side he just told me he's working on a 10% raise for me.

Whether to do 2 or 3 cities depends on your style. I prefer to concentrate on one place, unpack once and relax. However, others are happier bouncing from place to place.

Here's a basic rundown on the 3 cities.

Cartagena is going to be hot and humid. It will be the most expensive. However, it has beaches. Pre-covid, Cartagena was more of a late night scene. That's probably changed with curfews and other restrictions.

Medellin is the baby bear option. If Cartagena is too hot and Bogota is too cold, Medellin is just right. Between the casas, strip clubs, street girls and Facebook, Medellin probably has the most accessible mongering options.

Bogota, depending on whether or not it's raining, generally ranges from warm enough during the day to too cold at night. It has the largest street scene and the club scene is pretty extensive. However, it appears many of the clubs are closed now.

If street girls are your thing, probably Bogota and Cartagena. If Casas and clubs are what you prefer, Medellin and Bogota. If you prefer to find girls online, Medellin is your best bet, followed by either of the other ones.

Disclaimer: Nobody is suggesting that you have to be fluent in Spanish to enjoy yourself in Colombia. You can get by without knowing any Spanish at all. There's probably a guy who has been visiting Medellin for 10 years and thinks Fase Dos is a Microsoft product. There are guys who can't make it past Hello, before whipping out Google Translate and they're having the time of their lives.

The more Spanish you learn, the better your experience will be. This may be something you need to experience to believe. I've yet to meet anyone in Medellin who said they wished they knew less Spanish.

There are so many little things, which just a few words of Spanish will improve. For instance, being able to tell the taxi driver "continua derecho", continue straight, when he's about to turn right and add 4 k your ride. Or telling the waiter "tres cuartos" when you don't want your hamburger bloody in the middle.

Relations with the chicas improve too. Instead of whipping out your phone to translate when she asks you "que musica escuchas", you can whip out your phone and see how she reacts to Black Sabbath "Paranoid" (chances are she'll like it). You'll probably get a better reaction to "toma toda la verga" (take all the cock) than to "garganta profunda el gallo" (throat deep the rooster).

Here's the analogy.

You probably know how to fry an egg. You're probably better at it than 95% of Colombia, because you know how to cook one side, flip it and cook the other side. With that simple skill you can feed yourself and impress most of the chicas who have never seen someone flip an egg.

Likewise, if you learn enough Spanish for basic greetings and to tell people you don't speak much Spanish you're ahead of 90% of the Colombians you'll be dealing with, because most can't do that in English. I used to say "solo hablo un poco de Español. " Now I've moved up to "puedo entender Español mas o menos. " (From "I only speak a little Spanish" to " I can more or less understand.).

If you can fry an egg, you can probably scramble one. From there you can add ham, cheese, onions and tomatoes. After that omelets. Before you know it you're making crepes and soufflés. Each little bit improves your dining options.

The same is true with each bit of Spanish you learn. If you're able to pop off an occasional joke that's a game changer. Add in a couple of simple compliments and everything changes. I knew a guy who told every chica "eres muy inteligente" and they ate it up.

The best part is it takes very little time and effort. There are several apps which can take you quite far. And once you're able to put the translator away you'll realize how much it was holding you back.

Can you share a couple of those apps please. Hope not duolingo, that was not real helpful. Maybe at the very starter level but that's is it.Although I had taken 3 college Spanish courses, and forgotten 75%, I started with Duolingo. From there I took classes at EAFIT. In the last year I've learned mostly through online conversations with the various girls, learning the way they say things, picking up the patterns.

I'd start with Duolingo and run it as far as you can. There are other apps to build vocabulary, Spanish word of the day. If you've progressed beyond the limits of Duolingo, you might consider Babbel or Rosetta Stone (Rosetta Stone is expensive, but many employers will pay for it if you're in a position where Spanish skills might benefit the company. The step beyond that would be formal classes.

None of that is necessary. Analyze the things you always end up asking or saying. Make a list in English of all those phrases and then start memorizing the translations. If you can handle numbers, and learn to conjugate the verbs, 100-200 words will get you by.

For the record, I would NOT recommend starting a business down here.

Way too many regulations and taxes.

I've been able to live here on and off for 16 years, mostly on, like 13+ years on.

It's hard to make good money here, although it is possible if you stand out enough in the market.

But also, you will NEVER do it by going legit. You have to be informal here unless you have REALLY good connections.

Years ago I did my due diligence in opening a Renta-a-car business in Costa Rica. At the time there was no car rental in the PZ area. So I did a pilot program. I shipped 1 van down to CR using an empty Dole container, returning to CR from the Delaware port. This part had it's regulations but because it was in English and USA Type red tape it was relatively easy to navigate, however still a pain in the ass. Once the container arrived in Limon, it was a different story. The business was hours away from San Jose and hours away from the business local because everything had to be done in SJ which required staying over night to get shit done and another 3 hour drive back. Not to mention getting emissions test translated by an approved translator, going to Yellow house for a stamp and Mop for another stamp. After waiting to be called by someone's brother-in law, nepotism flourishes in Latin America, by the way. He tells me come back tomorrow for his stamp. When I tell him I can't return tomorrow and drop a 20,000 C on his desk, he pulls out his stamp and off I go in a few more minutes. There is a saying in Spanish down there. "Show me the money and the monkey will dance" Also finding an Honest Attorney is almost imposible if you are a gringo, you are a target to pay the gringo price and for everything. For them it's not discrimination it's an oportunidadq! In Brazil I was told by a close friend to NEVER trust ANY lawyer In the entire country, so there you have it. Unless you are a Dole size company forget it. As Bango say's You need connections and resources, excellent Spanish skills, so you won't need to rely on anyone else or you will wind up just another gringo tout prying on gringo tourist to grind out a meal. Buena suerte!

I was pondering the different levels of shitty attitude I've encountered on different continents with putas, and whilst I know correlation does not necessarily equate causation.

I believe there is a direct link between the level of feminism of the country and the level of PSE I receive, yes there are outliers, I have recd mind blowing PSE in USA.

So what do you think.

Here are my generalizations.

#1 worst offenders are predominately white countries USA Canada Australia Western Europe.

#2 Latin America.

#3 Asia.

#4 Afrika.

#5 India (I like to consider India discrete from the rest of Asia).

#6 the Arab / Muslim countries.

BTW Id love to live in the Middle East jajaja

this is my ranking worst to best for me!!

I agree that spanish is incredibly important if you want to enjoy yourself. You can roughly spend more cash for less spanish and have an equally good time. Being a cheap charlie though I went the spanish route. I tried duolingo. No offense to those who found it helpful, but I found it pretty useless. The best things I could have done were just living in Colombia and taking classes at both EAFIT and UPB. EAFIT was a bit more organized but costs a bit more. If you can't make it to a spanish speaking country and live there for a significant amount of time. Find a tutor on iTalki.com. You should be able to find a decent 1 for under 10/ bucks an hour.

Hey fellas. I was in Cuba and met a Colombian Canadian guy who had visited Medellin a few months before Cuba. He said the girls in Medellin were hotter, cheaper, cleaner (hygiene) and less hassle. He told me he called escorts for like $30-$40 Canadian and most of tmihem stayed past their agreed time, some stayed the whole night without asking for extra money. Long story short I came across a site called mileroticos.com and went to Medellin section and the prices really are that cheap! Some even show faces! Has anyone ordered escorts while in Medellin?? How is the quality / price? I'd really appreciate and response. Thanks.

And yes I and many others have used milerotics in the past years and have had some great results, a few dudes, with some staying for hours and matter-of-fact I had to almost ask them to leave hehehehe.

You just need to come to Colombia and see for yourself. I have such an abundance of available pussy on demand that I have no need for escort sites at all, heck I am daily turning down girls, I have one 19 yo tall and slender girl from Medellin who could be the kid sister to Megan Fox and she is almost pleading with me to come over for the day and few nights. I can't make this shit up. Gawd I am a lucky guy.

The Tall Man.The REAL truth about Medellíand:

A fuckton of people under 30 in that city regularly attend sex parties at least once a week.

If you really get in with the locals and are good looking, you will get the invite before long. Or maybe you can already confirm this, who knows? .

If not, keep an eye out. Honestly in Medellíand many people can wind up not even having to pay.

I'm dying to take a trip to Columbia this year never been there. Someone who gets a little nervous around the ladies shouldn't be a problem in Columbia? Pussy that easy?I noticed you made the correction in your other post. Just try to remember it's "Colombia." Some Colombians get annoyed when you spell it wrong.

If you are a complete noob and get nervous around women, you might want to consider booking your stay at the Mansion. They have women who come and hang out around the pool during the day, and there is a bar where women come to hang out at night. Your fellow guests will mostly be people who have made several trips to Medellin and who can show you the basics. You can search Google for "Hotel M Medellin" to find their website. When you contact them, they will probably ask how you heard about the hotel. Tell them you heard about it here. They want to be certain their guests understand the hotel.

My other suggestion is that you read the forum. Go back at least 50 pages and read everything. You'll learn something useful.

A fuckton of people, from 18 to 70 (or older) routinely get together for sex parties. There are clubs dedicated to this purpose, houses which regularly host parties and groups will even take over a floor or two of a hotel. I spent years attending all of the above in several places with a few different girlfriends.

Searching for "swinger's club" for any city will usually find you a place to begin. Typically, most events are only open to couples and single women. Some invite select single men. I would steer clear of any place which allows unrestricted single men, as they tend to be sausage fests, with 20-30 guys for every girl.

"Not having to pay" needs a disclaimer. Every one I've been to has charged a door fee. I think the highest was $50 per couple (more than 20 years ago) and the cheapest was $20.

Also, every event or club I've attended has had a range of people, both in age and looks. There was one house party that screened everyone before accepting them, but the ages ranged from 25-45 and I didn't feel like anyone was out of my league.

In Medellin, or Bogota, if this interests you, I'd start by researching the swingers clubs and by finding some girls who have been to them. Your behavior at the clubs, if you regularly attend, will determine whether or not you get invited to more select gatherings.

Sure, but those are guys that live there or are in town for a few months. For the typical guy that comes down for a week, it's not likely unless you're very good-looking. In which case, you're getting it free where you live anyway.

I've been invited to clubs like this in New Orleans (I used to be there on business a lot) and Tijuana (I live outside Tijuana) but never partaken. I can't imagine there would be anyone there I'd want to fuck. And I'm not crazy about condoms unless it's the first time with a potential long-term partner. But if it's your bag, there it is.

But if it's your bag, there it is.Well, if you were getting an invitation to go as a single male, you're probably correct. There's unlikely to be anyone there you want to fuck, and it's either gang bang action or waiting around and hoping to get picked.

If you were getting invites to go as a couple, you would be surprised. They get all types. I've seen some real hotties in the clubs. Ended up fucking a minor porn star in a club in Phoenix (which pissed off my date, causing her to leave me there). Had a sweet young thing literally climb on me at one club when me and my girlfriend were taking a breather. Never even said Hello. That pissed off the girlfriend, because her boyfriend was too drunk to get it up.

With that girlfriend we had a few couples we routinely played with, including one girl who was a stripper. Then again, it's been almost 15 years ago and I was a lot prettier back then.

Also, there's plenty of barebacking going on in the clubs. I would say that's the majority.

Definitely not for everyone. There's issues with jealousy and possessiveness. Insecurity problems also can be difficult.

Disclaimer: This is not in response to any one post or poster. Several people on various threads have weighed in on this.

None of the rules or restrictions that have been put into place over the last 9 months are liked by anyone. Nobody did a happy dance when they found out they needed to put on a mask to buy toilet paper. Except for the people making a bundle off of testing, nobody is happy about having a q-tip jammed into their brain in order to fly to Colombia. Nobody wants their favorite bar to close Thursday afternoon and not reopen until Tuesday.

However, posting about how stupid something is, or how useless, isn't going to change it. The Colombian Minister of Health isn't making decisions based on what he reads on ISG. He's looking at information none of us have. He might not be making the decisions each of us would make, but I doubt there are many people here who are qualified to make those decisions. Using a toilet for 50 years doesn't qualify you as a plumbing contractor.

So why bother with what you think they are doing wrong? It's not important. If Colombia makes a rule that you can't wear Crocs, black socks and cargo shorts at the same time, it doesn't matter why they made the rule, or how stupid it is. The only thing that matters is if you need to change your wardrobe.

The same is true with quarantine, pico and cedula, mask requirements and anything else. La policia doesn't care what you think about the mask, he only cares whether or not you're wearing it. That 900 k+ fine isn't getting waved because you think it's stupid. The 3 people just recently arrested in Cartagena with fake Covid tests didn't get released by explaining the tests served no purpose.

This is a universal concept. "You can't fight City Hall" was coined before the paint was dry on the first City Hall.

Instead of griping about what you can't change, focus on what you can do. Emphasize the new rules people need to be aware of. Figure out how to minimize the inconveniences and maximize your time in Colombia.

After all, I don't think any of us travel to Colombia to debate Colombian politics with the Colombian government.

In most cities, swinger clubs have been subsumed by plain old mongering and prostitution and become homogenized. Worldwide, they are rarer than hen's teeth these days.

Also, the sheer PREVALENCE of the shit in Medellin is what sets it apart. I wasn't actually saying they invented group sex or anything.

While Covid certainly limited activities, swinging and swing clubs are still going strong. That's unlikely to change, and even more unlikely to be replaced by prostitution and mongering. Single guys frequently hire a prostitute in order to gain entrance to swingers clubs and parties.

It's a lifestyle and atmosphere that can't be replaced by prostitution, because prostitution can't provide the same thing. You may as well say McDonald's has replaced the family dinner.

McDonald's is more convenient, quicker and easier, but it doesn't provide what a family dinner provides.

Making my first trip in a few months, am wondering has anyone heard of OnlyFans / IG girls that escort or are they pretty much strictly OF / IG "models"?Really depends on the girl man. I know of one other monger who seems to have success with IG girls, but he puts a lot of time and effort into it and also pays quite a high price for IG girls. Generally I would say its not worth the effort. But if you really have your heart set on one in particular, why not just offer her something, or straight up ask her. I bet you 9 out of 10 times it wouldn't be the first time they've been propositioned.

Making my first trip in a few months, am wondering has anyone heard of OnlyFans / IG girls that escort or are they pretty much strictly OF / IG "models"?CTC,

You are going to find plenty of beauties for cheap. When you hit Santa Fe, you are going to see hot women who will fuck you for $20 or even less.

Many women on Instagram / Only Fans are told that they are going to attract followers and make a lot of money, and they rarely do. One of the reasons I lost my ex-fiance was because people told her that she could use her social media and sell things. In her case it was educational items on FOREX trading. She was told you do not need to depend on him, and you can make it on your own. She was lied to and paid the price for it. Thank God for me that happened.

Any decent looking woman can get followers by showing skin but making money on it is a whole different matter. The girl attracts a bunch of horny losers as followers and thinks she can charge more because she is deluded and she thinks she is famous.

This is a Vennie in Mexico on IG: https://www.instagram.com/gaby_valenciar/.

I met her on seeking and she gave me her Instagram. She was and is a 10. I called her my supermodel but she was broke as shit despite having 213 k followers. I have had better than her in Colombia, better in bed not looks wise, for a 1/10 the price. She is off the market and is living with a SD in Tulum.

If you want more normal women, then use seeking. If you want good looking women who will fuck you for close to nothing, you want to hit centro in Medellin or Santa Fe in Bogota. Even if you use seeking.com, I would really wait until you get there. I know you are excited for your first trip, I sure as shit was, but you really do not need to plan in advance.

IG / OF is really not a good place to look for women IMO because the women think they are worth more than they are.

This site below list At-home collection kits for Covid PCR tests you can take before you leave. They have saliva and nasal tests that you send the samples to the labs in a pre-paid envelope. Result back in 24-72 hours (varies by test). I have personally done the Pixel by labcorp about 5 times now; results back in 24-48 hours. Just took one of Friday night and mailed it in. Got the results back in 25 hrs.

https://www.goodrx.com/blog/coronavirus-at-home-tests/

Here is the game changer: A complete at-home kit where you get the results in 20 min. , but you need to have internet and webcam as you do a eVisit with a doctor to do the test. The company says you take it with you on your travels so you do the test 3 days before you come back. Not sure if it can be used to get back to the US from international travel but United Airlines has it listed to be acceptable to return back to the US. I strongly believe this is the same kit that doctor's offices are using when you do a rapid test.

Not sure about every individual state but here in South Carolina you can drive up to a covid PCR test site and have your results back in your email account within 72 hours and its FREE. All you need is a name, date of birth, an address and email and your good to go. My novia, a Colombian National got one the end of last month. We drove up to a Public test site in Greenville, only 2 cars a head of us. We were in and out in 10 minutes. We took the test on Friday and she had it in her email by 6 am on Monday. Hope this helps to keep you travel costs down.

Also I believe we pushed it to the limit because we tested Friday lunch time, so I feel the results it is a longer window because of the weekend.

I needed to travel from Marco Island to FT Lauderdale late last year for over a 3 hour trip each way for a few hundred dollars. So I'll go the health dept. Way. I'd rather give my girl and her family the $200 for food than a commercial clinic. Just a heads up to anyone who wants to look into it.

So if I'm leaving from fort Lauderdale to Colombia at 10:00 am On a Friday when do I have to take the test?If you got tested on Monday afternoon your Friday afternoon would be 96 hours, South Carolina reports between 48 and 72 hours turnaround time. I would think the same in Florida but not sure of the turn around time there. Ask one of the techs what they think when you get in line. Myself, I would roll with first thing Tuesday morning so I would be pretty sure I'd have it by Friday before my travel. You could always go to a clinic on Thursday afternoon and pay the fee if your not sure. My girl got her's inside the 72 hours. Got the test Midday Friday and she had it by Monday 6 am when she woke up, that was inside the 72 hours and over a weekend so I don't think the labs were working diligently on Sunday Hope this helps you guys save some money for pussy).

I'm traveling to Medellin from the US in about two weeks, and had been having trouble finding a clinic that can promise a turnaround time for PCR test results that I could rely on to meet the Colombia 96 hour window. Then, yesterday I spoke with a testing clinic promising results in just 30 minute. However, the representative I spoke with noted that some Countries don't accept tests performed using supplies manufactured by the Company (MESA BIOTECH) that they rely on for this speedy turnaround--and advised me, before scheduling an appointment, to check on whether Colombia has been rejecting PCRs using test kits manufactured by this company. (FYI: Here's link to MESA BIOTECH website: https://www.mesabiotech.com/).

I'm waiting for MESA BIOTECH to return a call I made to see what they could tell me. Question: In the meantime, does anybody out there know:

1. Whether the standard / typical document one gets from testing centers to confirm a negative PCR even mentions the name of the testing kit manufacturer?

2. Whether Colombia border officials are rejecting PCRs based on the manufacturer of the testing supplies? If so, which? Mesa Biotech? Other? (I recall another BM recently mentioning another manufacturer of rapid PCR supplies by name).

Any intel on the above would be much appreciated--why, con suerte, hasta pronto, nos vemos en Colombia.

Have any of you been watching the latest season of "To Catch A Smuggler" on NatGeo? They had a marathon of the show last night (Sunday 7 February) and there were several interesting interactions between passengers returning from Colombia and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents at Miami International Airport. One interaction of interest was an older guy who had a huge sheet of black plastic (to keep the bed clean, he said), sex toys, and a shitload of hard drives and electronic equipment in his luggage. He was briefly detained while CBP agents viewed the pictures that he had saved on his laptop. In the end, he was released and allowed to continue on his way. It was just very interesting to watch CBP agents assume the worst (the passenger having sex with less-than-legal-age girls) in order to conduct a search and then have to be convinced through their own investigation that the passenger hadn't committed any sex crimes while in Colombia.

I have been through immigration probably literally 1000 times and have never been assumed to be doing what you say you saw in the show. You think some mf that has only been through 2 or 3 times could be so lucky? I have even told them on multiple occasions that I was wherever fucking hookers.

Most people they catch like that is because they have been tipped off or are already under investigation by another agency, not because they assume and have it out for them.

I have even come back with a bunch of bootleg movies, software, and clothes and they went through my bag looking for drugs. They didn't give a damn about the bootleg merchandise.

Where can I get cheap Tadalafil (generic Cialis) in the Botero / Centro area? The prices I have found seem higher than I had expected and read about. Please PM me and after a week I will post the best answer so as not to clog the Board. Thanks. I tried powersexcolombia pills and they did 100% nothing. I forgot I had tried it last year with same results. Stupid memory. Need pills for that too.

Centro girls are less quality compared to during the lockdowns 3+ months ago (2 other guys I spoke with mentioned the same thing). Could be because the 2 week millionaires now. But I have only been back 9 days and in a few weeks that can change quickly with girls coming and going.

Much stronger police presence compared to 3+ months ago. Many foreigner tourists. Three months ago you could see someone getting robbed nearly every night between 6-8 pm. Hell it was almost guaranteed. I have spent Friday, Saturday, and two other nights out until 8:30 and saw nothing.

LOL.You will be better off if you can run a small American business or enterprise remotely from here in the good ol' US of A and have some kind of connection in Colombia so that travel and expenses back and forth are tax deductible. If you live on the east coast even better because all of Colombia is in the same time zone. How's that for a nebulous, non-specific answer, jajajaja? Ostee Out. P.S. Unless it changed since COVID for some weird reason, USA and Colombia have a free trade agreement that eliminates tariffs and removes barriers.

Unless it changed since COVID for some weird reason, USA and Colombia have a free trade agreement that eliminates tariffs and removes barriers.Sorry. I was not clear, I meant you run your American business from Colombia. Late night posting. Tired. Drugs & alcohol may have been involved. Chicas. After you have been here awhile and learn the ropes and Spanish then you can try your hand at opening a business here. That's what I am doing. I have two small part time businesses that generate enough essentially passive income to pay all my living expenses here now. I just need a phone and Internet to check in and if problems arise. If I don't get too lazy I will start something here once I am fluent. I found a lawyer in my hometown in USA who is from Medellin. That is solid gold.

I did a forum search on the keyword 'Yelp' and no results came up so I'm asking here. What do expats or even Colombians in Medellin use to find businesses? Basically, what's the equivalent of Yelp over there? Is Google sufficient?

Until last night, I thought by using the Cabify app, I could avoid any taxi scams. I was leaving Hooters going to Laureles. It was raining pretty hard. DiDi and Uber showed more than double their usual fares. Cabify was cheapest. A taxi driver accepted my request, but then it changed to another driver, after showing the first driver was on his way. When the driver arrived, he had my name and what I thought was the correct address. He showed me the address on his phone. I just glanced at it and it looked correct, and I told him it was in Laureles. What I didn't notice was that he had changed "CL" to "cra". He went on Poblado Ave instead of the autopisto; but I've had other drivers do that, so that didn't concern me. When he started going up the hills out of the central Medellin area, I asked him if he was going towards Laureles, and he assured me he was. He even showed me on his GPS that he would end up in Laureles. After a few more turns going in the wrong direction, I told him something was wrong. He stopped and showed me he was going to cra 37 instead of CL 37c. That was on the opposite side of Medellin from Laureles. With the Cabify app, it doesn't show the route after the driver makes a pickup, nor does it show the request. You can look at "Journeys", but that shows what the driver input. Since I didn't have any proof of what I requested, I ended up paying an extra 10 mil. That's cheap for a lesson learned.

This question gets asked much too often, in practically every forum. It's about as useless as asking the forum when's the milk in your refrigerator is going to go bad.

There is no best city, or best country for mongering. If there was, everyone would be going there and it would no longer be the best.

What is your style of mongering. Do you like the street scene, or high end clubs? Do you prefer escort services or BJ bars? Do you prefer to monger morning, evening or late night? Do you like to party hard for 3 days straight, or do you take things slowly?

The best is always going to be subjective. Nobody can answer that for you. Figure out what type of environment you're looking for, do your research and then go. Then go somewhere else. Repeat until you find the city which is best for you.

Hey there,

I'm also planning my first Colombia trip, but I have made an attempt to RTFF first. At least 50 pages of trip reports and 100 pages here. Hahaha.

I spent a few weeks in Thailand a couple years ago, and am familiar with the local game on my home turf. I took a year of college Spanish, but that was 25 years ago. I can generally read and write, but fast talking and funky tenses will trip me up. Taking a 10 week online class right now, hopefully that will refresh me enough.

Shout out to JjBee62 for the super informative post on finding Facebook girls! Once I found a good starting point the list of FB girls seems to be never-ending!

http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/forum/showthread.php?578-General-Info&p=2410175&viewfull=1#post2410175.

My flight is already booked, I'll be there the month of October plus a couple days on each side. It sounds like that might be "rainy season", but I'm coming from the PNW so warm rain will be a step up.

I have an AirBnB booked in Medellin the whole time and plan to take some shortish trips to Bogota and probably Cartagena or Santa Marta area.

So, my questions.

While out doing day time touristy stuff, would it be unwise to use my Galaxy S10 for pictures, or would I be less likely to be mugged for a simple point and shoot digital camera? I have an older phone I planned to use if going out in the evening.

Can I just walk in to the bar at The Mansion? Or is it guests only? Would it be worthwhile as a first timer to book a night or two there even though I already have an AirBnB for the month?

My AirBnB is really close to here: https://goo.gl/maps/SKZLfi63L9nq3GN77.

Is this considered Laureles? Is the neighborhood safe-ish at night? Is the part of Carrera 70 that is nearby good for nightlife / bars?

I'll be in town over Halloween. Is that a big deal there?

I'll definitely post in Travel Announcements as the trip approaches, hope to meet up with some of you there!

Thanks!

So, my questions.Let's see if I can answer your questions.

Usually, during rainy season, it's raining off and on, not the constant 4 months of drizzle in the PNW. A folding umbrella is a good idea.

Stay aware of your surroundings, make sure nobody is paying too much attention to you and be discreet. That's the way I use my phone to take pictures. Take a couple shots and then put it away.

There's a 50 k cover charge for non-guests at the Mansion bar, it's more for special events like the Halloween party. If you stay there a couple of days it might be useful to you, but it's not necessary.

That's the Laureles area. I consider it safe to walk around. The La 70 bars and clubs will be a short walk away. There are also lots of food options nearby.

Halloween is a very big deal in Medellin.

The only phone I have is a Note 20 and I was out in the hood yesterday in Bogota using it and taking pictures with it. I don't think people notice you have a certain model phone and decide to rob you for that. I think they just decide to rob you and make off with whatever you have. Whether you have a Motorola Brick or an iPhone 12, if they are looking to get you then they are going to get you.

Thanks!Yep, it is Laureles. La setenta (70) is near. Depending on Covid restrictions there may be bars open, but it is not really a mongering area. And the nightlife is very much local in nature Safe at night? I've stayed in the area a few times and it doesn't feel 100% safe. But that is subjective at best.

I just got back from a great week in Mexico with a great Colombian woman, highly recommended others do likewise now that Colombia is in lockdown.

But there were a few issues:

One was there did not seem to be any of the white powder stuff as readily available in Mexico as in Colombia. That was an issue, and I finally solved it by taking her to an Italian restaurant and spreading lines of Parmesan cheese on the table cloth. It worked. She snorted it up and was happy.

Well, it worked until I learned she was lactose intolerant.

Maybe you know that for many Colombian men their first partner is not a woman but a donkey, so I was a little surprised when we started talking about education.

In sixth grade, her classes were body disposal, maximizing cocaine yields, and weapons maintenance.

Then the classes split up and the women had one class: how to look hotter than his donkey. They graded that class on a curve.

I guess the Colombian men are a little beholden to their mothers because their class was: how to separate from mommy in 5 minute intervals.

Speaking of donkeys, we got in a bad fight. I told her that if I switched my religion to Islam, I could have four wives, and she would be one of them. It was a terrible fight, but we finally compromised. If I become a Muslim, I get two wives and two donkeys.

She was kind of upset the last part of our week. I thought it might be PMS, but finally she told me the truth. "It has been almost a week, and I have not shot at anyone."

So being the supportive guy that I am, I will line up some Venezuelans in Bogota for her as target practice.

I plan on using a dirty used car as bait.

I tried to help her when we were in Mexico. I even asked the restaurant manager if he had any spare Hondurans to use as targets, and he said, "No, since Biden was elected, they had all gone to the USA."

Hope that helps all of you.

At least on Copa, there is now a new requirement for all persons flying to the US to fill out a form similar to the Colombian Migration form. It's no longer good enough to have a Covid test within three days of arrival, now you must submit a form attesting to the fact you have had the test. Here is a link to the form on Copa: https://www.copaair.com/ustravelforms. I became aware of this requirement yesterday when I left Medellin.

It seems like Medellin is not at its safest right now in a couple of ways. Virus / crime. Does anyone know how Barranquilla compares to Medellin these days in terms of safety-like if I walk to a casa from my hotel in Barranquilla compared to walking the streets of Medellin? Or just walking around in general? I don't carry a cell phone with me- but I may have a little casa cash in the underwear, front pockets and socks. LOL. Also, If I bring a chica to my room like from Tinder--is the scopalamine risk (yes I can mitigate it) or crime risk (yes I can mitigate it) any different--or putas are putas all the same everywhere? I never felt at risk of theft from my Thai girls back in those days of Asia travel.

I can go to Barranquilla in a few days. I am not sure if I am also going to go to Medellin. Obviously, more female option in MDE. Including a stable I already have. But, I am thinking of just staying in Barranquilla and trying to create a stable there as well, if the city is safer overall--both in terms of Covid risk and crime risk. Does anyone have any insight as to how they compare? I know MDE really well, but have only spent 1 weekend in Barranquilla in this life.

What do 'you' think?

On the way out, at SFO, the AA agent gave me a hard time, because I did not have a confirmation email from Colombia migracion. Hello guys,

I am an Egyptian dude (white skin, but Mediterranean features) in my mid 20's. Been told I look Spanish / Italian. I'm also 5'10. Anyways, I'm thinking of moving to Colombia and finding a partner. I very am attracted to the curvy type, particularly women with large breasts. Colombia supposedly has some of the curviest women, who also have white European features (double bonus for me).

Since I am Spanish-looking, I feel that I can blend in with the locals. Plus I (5'10) might be taller than the average Colombian man, which should give me some advantage. My only problem with Colombia is that they seem vervy promiscuous (I. E girls there are not faithful). And they seem to use a lot of cosmetic surgery, so I don't know if they are naturally curvy on average compared to Poland for example or if that's just inflated because of all the surgery. Would you agree or disagree with that?

Given this info, do you think I have a decent shot of landing a Colombiana? If so, can you recommend any cities where I can find the women I described above? The only one I found so far that fits my preference of curvy European-ish women is Medellin. BTW, I don' mind darker-skinned girls, I'm all for it really! If you think I should look elsewhere, could you name some other countries instead please? Thank you!

We are mongers here, we pay for pussy and sex, we have many chicas and have zero interest in finding 'love' or our 'soul mate for life'.

Yes many are promiscuous which is the reason why Medellin in particular has such an appeal to guys like us that pay for sex.

The expression about women here in Colombia is "she is not your girl rather she is only your turn", think long and hard about that.

Thank you!Are you fluent in Spanish? Have you mastered the Medellin accent? If not, why would you feel you can blend in with the locals?

How much do you know about the Colombian culture? If you can't find a partner in your own country, someone who you already have much in common with, why would you think it's going to be easier in another country, where you have no shared experiences?

Anyone who can afford an extended visit to Colombia, from another continent has a good chance of landing a Colombiana. Very few end up with a lifelong partner who makes each day wonderful.

Heya,

First time poster, but a subscriber.

I've been reading a bit, mostly in the Columbia forums. I came across a few posts that recommend the use of FaceBook to acquire a list of chicas to use in future endeavors.

I am not that FaceBook savy. But, I did create a 'new' FaceBook profile that I would use just for this purpose during a future visit.

What I can't seem to figure out is how to find a few girls profiles who are likely using their FaceBook profiles in a way that would accommodate what most on this site are looking for.

I saw another post in these forums that said if you check the threads, you'd find many names of chicas on FaceBook, and can't start your acquisition of a friends list there, but I never saw one. (maybe I didn't look long enough or in the right places).

Can someone give me a leg up and off one or two girls (link to their profiles) and I'll take it from there as far as trying to mine their friends lists and their friends friends list and so on.

Thanks!

With all due respect you need to find a dating site, an on-line cupid, there are a number of them.

Much love and respect!

The Tall Man.Harsh but to the point. My suggestion is, you can find your love in Colombia as long your wallet is green. I say my magic word to get rid of novia. Soy pobre.

Harsh but to the point. My suggestion is, you can find your love in Colombia as long your wallet is green. I say my magic word to get rid of novia. Soy pobre. If that is the case then your girlfriends are hookers. It does not work that way with women that are not. I have met more women that are not the way you describe than I can count in the last 16 years and I am still in contact with many.

I have met more women that are not the way you describe than I can count in the last 16 years and I am still in contact with many.I owe you big time for this Mr. E. I do not think most guys can pivot like you (and now me) between the world of dating and whoring.

If you say every male-female interaction is transactional, then you have defined yourself as a john and every woman as a working girl, and that is very limiting. Why not accept that there are two kinds of relationships and go with that?

If you think all relationships are transactional, you will never find one that is not, and you have lost. If you say that working girl-john relationships are immoral, you have lost in the sense that you are often going to be going without sex and be so desperate for sex, you may wind up with a working girl who is a great actress. The game IMO is to master both worlds.

The number one rule for dating for men who use working girls is to identify if the woman you are after is a hooker or not and do not give money to women who are not hookers. Be open to the notion that she will fuck you for you and not for a buck even if she is incredibly hot and a tiger in bed. Rule #2 is that if she is a hooker go ahead and enjoy yourself but do not lose sight of the fact of what she is.

The other and much worse part that I had to admit, and no one here wants to admit, is that if you say every male-female relationship is transactional, you define yourself as a john, and you are admitting that you are a loser in societal terms. Guys may say every guy is a john, and every woman is a working girl to make themselves feel better, but that is not true.

You will get laid much more and your feelings hurt much less with the P4 P approach, however once a woman has her feet put to the fire about being a working girl or feeling like one, she is probably going to leave you or the profession.

I brought that often quoted, "She is not yours but your turn" to this forum, but your turn is going to be one helluva lot longer if the woman does not think she is a working girl.

I am so tired of guys here talking about what women want. Here is a survey of what women want, and the #1 quality was kindness, and that does not mean spending money: https://www.insider.com/what-women-really-look-for-in-a-partner-study-research-2019-7.

Researchers analyzed the answers from 68,000 people in 180 countries. Overall, they found personality comes out on top, with 88.9% of women considering "kindness" a very important trait in a partner. Close behind were "supportiveness" and "intelligence," which were chosen by 86.5% and 72.3% of women, respectively.

Even though so much of our dating lives seem to depend on looking good for potential suitors, attractiveness traits came secondary to personality. For example, only 22.3% of women thought an "attractive body" was very important.

I have never heard one guy on here talk about women wanting kindness and supportiveness. Not one.

I kept landing all these beauties and thinking I was not good enough because I was not a Brad Pitt type. Our programming dictates a beautiful girl belongs with a handsome guy. If a beautiful girl is with an older guy who may not handsome, then programming says she is after his status or money. I kept believing this even though I was scoring babe after babe. It took me years to reject this crap.

I never would have the woman I do now if I accepted that programming.

Hi brothers, can you help me with advice?

I'm planning to visit Colombia for 2 weeks and I'm trying to choose between Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena. I don't want to check-in check-out all the time so I decide to spend one week at one place and then move to the second. So I have to skip one but can't decide which one. My trips usually are walking around enjoying the area including the usual tourist stuff, drinking beer next to the sea (that's why Cartagena) and of course having fun with the local girls. Usually semi-pro spending the whole night together (sometimes and the whole day). Very often visiting the tourist places in the company of the girl that I spend the night with. So I think Cartagena is a must but not sure about the second stop. Maybe Medellin because of the girls, especially the Venezuelan Any thoughts on the subject?

My choice would be Medellin and Cartagena, You will find the cost of P4P much more expensive in Cartagena so if your visit to Colombia is just for P4P then Bogota and Medellin would be your best choice. Cartagena is a heritage site with a fantastic old Spanish colonial old town and fantastic beaches.

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking the same, but we'll see. Now I'm collecting info and I hope in the next week will book the tickets. And at the end of June. Colombia here I comes.

That said I'd go to Cartagena and Medellin. Bogota has lousy weather and IMO isn't a particularly attractive or pleasant city.

There is nothing to it, a finger stick and results in like 10 minutes. It should be cheap.

Saint Fauci is looking more and more like the devil. I heard he owns an unknown number of Moderna shares and even before this crisis was known as a vaccinologist.

And I am really fucking sick of the arrogance on vaccines. What we have seen has been a complete fucking cover up of Covid for one year in part because the Chicoms threatened to withhold PPE if we told the truth about where Covid originated.

It is one thing to call antivaxxers stupid. It is another to see completely normal children become autistic after one fucking dose of the MMR vaccine thousands of times.

If you just did the opposite of all the Colombian government has done in the pandemic, you would have a pretty sound policy. The list of stupid things they have done is endless.

The solution is to separate the political BS that Fauci and his clan at the CDC and NIH are spouting off and doing what works. Masks inside when people are close to one another especially when there is talking, singing, working out ETC and vaccines. That is it. That is what works. All the other stuff (the curfews, the travel ban, the restricting of one person from a family going to the store, the hand washing, the sanitizing, the banning people from going outdoors, the social distancing) is theater and giving fines for any of it is as stupid as the day is long.

Fauci and his patronizing NIH clan and CDC buddies are being called out now, and I for one am glad to see it happening. The governor of Texas tuned Fauci out, and I cannot wait to see other government leaders do likewise.

If you think the working class is destroying the Transmilenio system or tearing down the traffic lights in south Bogota or blocking trade routes you are drastically misinformed. The FARC & ELN are a left wing revolutionary groups who have been trying to overthrow the existing government for half a century. Destroying the Infrastructure is their way of attacking the government in place. In Bogota thousands of working people are now trying to ride bikes and walking long distances to try to continue to get a pay check. Don't think for a minute that the militant left wing is not behind all this destruction. They are hiring displaced Venezuelans and thugs to do this. They are masked anarchists and need to be arrested and jailed before any meaningful change for the better for the working class. That's why when the taxes imposed were rescinded the riots continued and in fact got worse. The FARC and ELN have embraced The famous words of the liberal left progressive party in the USA.

NEVER LET A GOOD CRISIS GO TH WASTE. So until the government figures out a way to separate the militants from the ranks of the disadvantaged working class, I'm afraid these anarchists' lead riots will continue for a long time.

Some of my best trips were to Rio, I had an Apartment on Ave. Atlantica overlooking hooker beach 2 blocks down from Help!! Ahh the good old days. The girl is always what makes or breaks a trip. Beach, tourism etc. Is always a part of it. I met a few amazing women on my trips and although I am not a fan of Todo Noche, beach, dinner, a few days with the right woman can make for an amazing trip. One time, years ago I met an amazing women in Costa Rica, looks, body, sex over the top, spoke some English. Anyway, me being like a kid in a candy store she asked me if I wanted her to stay over and I said no you can go and off I went to mine for another all star. Well that all star never happened and I began to miss my other girl. So after 2 days of really bad sessions with less than steller girls I contacted the first girl and see told me she went to Panama and would not return until I went back to the USA. Lesson learned. My advice is, pick one first, Ctg. Is good if you like the sea and you don't mind paying the higher prices, and you find a hot chic who checks off all the boxes stay there. Because the flight's are many and cheap, I would hold off making any further reservations. If things get stale and you want a change of scenery you can always get on the computer and book a flight and room in one of the other cities. Keep your options open especially if the riots persist, you never know what is going to happen if you pre-book other cities. All in all it sounds like you can do whatever you want whenever you want, sounds like a plan.

Tough position.

In the past I believe (not sure) you had to prove to the outgoing airline in USA, then USA immigration, and then Colombian immigration. So any of those 3 entities could throw a wrench in anyone's travel plans. So it may be safest to get the test just to be sure. I would definitely print out something off the Colombian government website.

I mention this because my trip to the Philippines had a stopover and plane change in China. The airline employee in the USA checking in my bags said I needed a visa to enter China. I had to explain to her that physically I would be in China but legally I would not be since I would not be going past immigration and outside the airport. Amazing!

Except the downer is that the airlines don't have that updated yet. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. They might have said no more PCR testing at the airport in Colombia, but still requiring it for boarding a plane to Colombia? However, instead of 72 hours they give 96 hours, which is much easier to schedule.

Anyone has any idea about the "going rate" for the SeekingArrangement dates in CO, Bogota, Medellin? I have done an "arrangement" from Badoo once in Brazil where I had a perfect arrangement for 24 hours and she picked me up from the airport. It was quite hot actually. For the 24 hours I paid 1000 BRL, which was about US $ 400 at the time, and the value of about 4 hours of a regular escort. Some said I paid too much, but I don't think so since I had 24 hours of fun with emotional connection and that blind date that was agreed on. I told her: when we meet I see you at the airport and the first thing we do is kiss passionately even before I'll hear your voice for the first time. It was tickling.

Anyway, now I am trying to come up with a reasonable proposal to those SA girls. If I take the same calculation, I would say 250,000 COP x 4 = 1,000,000 COP for 24 hours.

But if I don't even want 24 hours it gets more interesting. 500,000 COP for the night? Would that seem too cheap?

I checked average monthly income in CO is under 450 USD, so 3 such nights and she'd have that average monthly income.

Should we negotiate lower than the rate of the straight up working girl? In this case we'll meet up for coffee just to be sure that there will be some chemistry.

And finally, any advice on safety? I have some concerns with the specific information we give about ourselves on the site, we might be subject to some serious robbery rip-offs. Taking the girl to my apart-hotel? I know the theory is better not, but I am looking for experienced advice, not textbook.

In this case we'll meet up for coffee just to be sure that there will be some chemistry..SS,

Do not mention a price and try to meet them for a drink first. Second, I would start at 200,000 for an 8 or less. 300,000 for a 9 or 10. You send out 100 messages and I bet you will get 30 responses. Do not commit to first one. Play the field until you find one you like. 500,000 is too much. A girl has to be a 10 in bed and in looks to pay much that.

Do not worry too much about hotels. I am not sure where you are staying but hotels usually get girls ID. I have never had an issue with girl in room. Only issue is hotel charging guest fees, but that is more a Medellin problem than Bogota problem.

Will be more expensive than the other cities but I think you over thinking this. It's not Walmart with a set price. Generally speaking, if you are dealing with a true SA girl and not a prepago, of which there are many on Seeking, it will be less. I haven't used SA for a few years now but I usually paid around 200 cop + taxi with no time limit. Most true SA girls will like to go to dinner and make a evening out of it if you want, With the hard core prepagos it will be more like a business transaction and more expensive. There is a LOT of desperation and poverty right now in Colombia so negotiate accordingly. But don't be a dick. Many women and families are hurting right now and I do tip more in my hotel and restaurants because a few extra pesos is no skin off my back but could mean the difference to a mom or family buying food. Use you best judgement. Have a great trip and be careful, Colombia is very dangerous right now.

You mean because of that political stuff that's going on on the streets? Or is there big increase in crime?

So I don't know if they have a front desk thing.

I can really understand now what so many girls are going through on normal dating sites. Lots of stuff coming in, makes it almost hard to manage.

And strange things of one I had a decent chat with and we were all "hasta luego baby" and the next day that profile was gone altogether (or blocked me?) so that made me think that perhaps there are many fake profiles there. Like I said, I don't feel comfortable to be pressured to give my wealth and income numbers, but you can't even opt out of it.

It's fairly common on SA, you will also see them in one city today and far away the next day. Lot's of fishing and scamming on SA. However there are some good ones.

Danger: I have seen Bogota get very dangerous over the years. It's a big city, like 9 million more or less right now, so every big city has their crime element. Bogota and most of the cities in Colombia in my option is like the perfect storm. Once the Pablo Escobar era came to an end Colombia enjoyed a renaissance of sorts, and tourism took off. There has always been poverty because of, for the most part, no middle class. Now it's a whole new ball game. Covid destroyed all the jobs for the working class, drugs and and the influx of millions of destitute Venezuelans looking for jobs and easy prey has made for a very dangerous time in Bogota. The riots are not protests. It is the left, FARC, ELN and the militant left using this opportunity to do what the have always promised to do for decades, overthrow the current system of government, they don't want calm so until the government comes down hard on them the "protests' will continue. The north is relatively safe, the further you go south the more dangerous it becomes. But it can happen anywhere in a flash. NEVER wear or bring expensive watches etc to Colombian. There is way too much to warn you about but if you pm me I can tell you more. All that being said I love Colombia, the people and the WOMEN jaja. Be careful, have a good time.

And strange things of one I had a decent chat with and we were all "hasta luego baby" and the next day that profile was gone altogether (or blocked me?) so that made me think that perhaps there are many fake profiles there. Not fake at all. You know how many chicks I have known in real life that have done the same thing? Just a couple of weeks ago this chick that I used to mess with in Cali hit me up from a new number saying she had moved to Medellin and is now working at a call center. I have met her mom and sister. Like 2 days later she disappeared.

I was talking to a chick in Dominican Republic. One night we said bye and the next day no more messages from her. Call the regular landline no answer. Next time I was in Santo Domingo I drove across town to the salon she owns to see what happened and it was closed. Just disappeared into thin air. The list goes on.

I have no idea what happens to these women, but I know shit will happen. That is why I always recommend not having all your eggs in one basket and having at least 3 backups. One guy in the Dominican Republic thread found out the hard way the other day when he was ghosted without backups.

I tried a couple girls on Dominican Cupid and got stood up twice so hate to leave without sampling the local flavor. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I was worried about having too many so I was conservativeyou guys even warned me. Lesson learned.

How about organizing a "house party"? Let's say get together with 3 colleagues here and rent a nice place with 3 bedrooms. Then gather 3 to 6 semi pro chicas. Have everyone STD tested and verify the chicas are on birth control (ideally by injection), bring all supplies and then have fun for a week or however long. We might even get some filming equipment and be like a film crew. That might make these girls even more enthusiastic. Should be no problem to find local talent, or, depending on the venue, even bring some Venezolanas. Not easy to travel to VE, but I hear it's not too difficult for them to travel out of VE. This could be done in a nice place like San Andre. Now leaving the scope of CO, but continuing the thought, in the Dominica Republic (VE to DR travel is easy). If Trinidad & Tobago was open it could be done there.

I don't know anyone here personally and I would not do this with just everyone. There needs to be some trust, for example, that none of the people get all drunk or argumentative or otherwise batshit crazy. There would have to be a certain gentleman's agreement and some rules. And we'd have to meet and get to know each other in person first. And as for in person, that's the downside with importing unknown girls from VE, but perhaps one could audition them over a video chat.

Since I am planning to be in CO for a longer period, I am thinking seriously about it. The benefit of a longer term arrangement is that it is way more relaxing and one can have variety and plenty and the costs of the nice villa or penthouse apartment can be shared. This STD testing plus a few days quarantine would have the benefit that one could do the bareback, which is so much nicer.

Thinking some more, I would be very interested to do this with guys who, like me, are digital nomads, and would, besides the playing, also like to get some work in. It's been always my special dream to do the digital work while a chica hangs out in my lap or gives me a massage. Or lazy at the pool.

Sounds like you are trying to take the road to disaster. At least he'll be able to use the carpool lane.

Tell me more, I'm all ears.Let's start with getting 3 guys together. I've met some great guys from ISG, guys who I enjoy hanging out with, guys who have become good friends, but spending 24/7 with them might be stretching things a bit. It would probably be okay for a couple of days, with the right guys, but then it starts to get difficult. One guy might be a bit messy. One might keep a much different schedule. Have you ever tried to sleep, when you're completely exhausted and someone is having loud, noisy sex 15 feet away? That's without getting into the issues when 2 guys both want the same girl.

Then there are the girls. You're unlikely to find semi pros in Colombia who will be excited about spending several days with strangers who want to take video of everything. The ones who might get excited about that are already doing webcam work. You're also going to run into problems finding girls who will all be up for being passed around. Not to mention throwing 3 to 6 strangers together and expecting them all to get along.

Of course, one of the biggest risks is when the girls decide to rob you. You and whoever else are likely to wake up and realize everything is gone, possibly including the TV's in your rental house. With 6 girls you can't watch them all, all the time.

There's more. Venezuelans? Colombia is already full of them. No need to import or export them from Venezuela. I assume you think you can get them cheaper, but by the time you pay roundtrip airfare, plus the time spent just finding them, you're spending more and getting complete unknown girls. How do you convince them to fly somewhere to meet up with complete strangers? Most likely by paying in advance, and after they have the money, why get on a plane?

I could easily find another 100 areas where problems could crop up, but I can't find any benefits to make it worth the risks. If I want 2 or 3 girls, for 2 or 3 days, I can easily arrange it. If I want to spend time with other mongers, easily done. If I want to take video, still easy. If I want something fancier than where I'm staying, Motel Ibiza is always there. I can have my fun and not have to deal with roommates while I'm having it.

Sounds like you are trying to take the road to disaster.LMAO Hey Squid, are you trying to be High Heffner? This is funny. Sounds like you want to have a Festa, I've had a few in Brazil that were great but not my first trip to Brazil. Best you walk before you run. Don't over pack or plan for your first trip. Find one or two girls you really like. Do a repeat if you like being with them, if they are really cool. Find a few restaurants you like and bring a few outfits and toys for the girls and have fun.

IMHO I would never invite 3 or 4 complete strange women I never met before to my place for a week. The best parties come together spontaneously, when the right people met it can happen, but don't force anything. Many times when I met a strange chic for the first time I broom them before I even kiss them and almost always after I shoot my load. I can't imagine the train wreck that could ensue having 5 or 6 strangers roaming around my apartment unchecked. Remember Squid your not in Kansas anymore.
