Agree with SURFER that some guys on this thread and other threads on this forum are amazing with their questions.

I think some members are not serious and beneficial contributors. If you are interested in going somewhere, do your homework, read ALL previous posts, then book your trip if you are adventurous. I DID to Cartagena and Casablanca with no regrets.
China later this year.

Racial remarks are unwarranted and unacceptable.

You get what you pay for. If skin tone is your preference, visit Northern Europe. Home of blondes whom are bi-trilingual.

Now let's conclude useless remarks, immature questioning and contribute with experiences of the female gender. Thank you, Merci, Tak, Gracias, Danke.

Hi Surfer

Thanks for your reply. Hope I didn't cause you trouble on the board!

I don't even call it racist per sa, just that people have differant tastes which surely is not bad.

When I say lighter I don't mean blonde/white, but for me the darker tanned variety, but not black.
Just my choice.
Some of the CTG pictures did look great, and that is very tempting.

The Sao Paulo board does not sound that great.

Oh well.

Thank You for your responses,

Gentlman, I am Used to China and Indonesia where the girls almost fall over when they see me and give me the cutest little do-me smiles, so here is the question.

Are non-working girls in Bogota on the street and in the bars aggresive enough to smile, look, and meet half-way decent looking American guys?

Or where can I find this in Colombia???

I want agressive young women who want to do me!

Please responde soon so I can book my plane tickets.

Belmont,

Unlike what Ron99 said, don't stay at Charlie's Place. Most of the time there is only one or two guys there, if that. The rates are higher than can be had elsewhere. And it is only a 1 star accommodation, if that. The bar is not much of a bar, and rarely have I seen local girls there. There are so many better places to stay than there.

<<Belmont stay at Charlies Place in Bogota. It's close to the action, they speak English, party as a group, other Gringos stay there, local women hang out at his bar, and they will help you get whatever you want.

Guys, where's "Charlies"?

I would recommend residencias in the Chapinero area. Around Calle 15 between 59-63. Very nice suites with jacussi (sp) for 60k pesos.

My world is now expanding to Bogota!

Of course, I'm a little scared. Our company and our government do not think I should seek too much fun there. You guys seem to disagree. You must be right...

I'll be staying at some hotel very near the airport -- A logistics nightmare for this sort of thing. But, I am willing to deal with it.

Are taxi's to and from downtown safe enough?

Once there, should I secure a room for fun, or rely on the Zona Rosa establishment?

If these answers are apparent in the last 6 months of posts, I will find them (I've only perused several weeks, so far).

Going to Santiago, Sao Paolo this month and subsequent months, as well as Buenos Aires a month or two later. All with regularity. Can't wait -- I've been deprived for several years. Anyway, please look for my posts there and feel free to engage in a PM conversation anytime.

Taxi's are fine. Try the Windsor house hotel or the Hotel De Laville both around 50 dollars a night, very safe, girl friendly. Bogota is a fine city don't beleive everything you hear but do be careful

Was in Bogota for one night on September 13.

Here are some new places that I didn't previously see mentioned on the board.

Sauna Taurus: Cra. 19 No. 84-84 257-9745

They only had four girls when I was there 19-23 5-7 in looks, but it was the first place that we hit so I kept looking.

IWHA Shopin Restaurant Shows: Cra 14 No 98-18 610-6963

This place is a large house the upstairs has been converted into a night club. There is an entire wall of televisions where they show videos. On the Monday night that I was there they had approximately 20 girls. At least two of the girls were real knock outs. The problem is that we ordered a couple of beers and they turned out costing $20,000 pesos a piece. After that we just got the f out of there. It is worth checking out but don't order anything until you confirm the prices. I think that we were quoted $70,000 peso bar fee and whatever deal you make with the girls.

Bar Zhivago, Juan Pablo Karaoke Cra. 18 No. 93A-83 256-8925

This place was outstanding. The atmoshphere is great and the staff is friendly and not pushy. On Monday night there was easily 30-40 girls. Ten of which were absolutely drop dead gorgeous. The house fee is $60,000 and the girls ask between $100-200,000 per hour. There are rooms on premises or you can take the girls back to your hotel. I took out a beatiful nineteen year old from Manizales. She claimed to be a university student and said that a lot of the girls at the club were students that work a few nights a week to pay their bills. She said that there are usually different girls every night.

Also checked out other clubs like Le Mansion, Casanovas, Extisis, and Lido. All of these were dead on the Monday I was there.

Based upon Beavis' recomendation I stayed at the Hotel De LaVille. Thanks Beavis. The hotel was great and totally girl friendly. They have to register but no additional fee and no hassle.

I will return to Bogota.

JavMav: HIRE ME! I like your travel schedule/destinations.

Airport hotel is just fine if you use an escort service for incall or take a taxi. Most clubs do have onpremises ST rooms so don't worry about that.

Use big city common sense, but don't huddle in fear in your room or anything as it is not NEARLY that bad in the areas of BOG you are likely to visit.

Went to Bogota (see Simple Mans report)

All i have to add is the following:

Eduardo Bernal (Tourist Taxi, about 30 yrs old nice guy knows lots of places and charges very reasonable rates).
Cel. #315-852-1806.

After dealing with taxi drivers who don't seem to know where anything is located and getting overcharged, i finally found this guy. He walks into mos places with you and makes sure you are safe before, he leaves. Thus, i highly recommend this taxi guy.

Does any Bogota regulars know of a cheap place to stay near Salitre Magico, El Dorado Ave, or the Embassy or this general area? Hotel, motel, or apartment, trying to keep it at 95k/night! I've check virtually everything on the online yellow pages in Bogota and the web! i'll be in town the 2nd week of Nov. for a week. thanks the rabbit

LP: Better late than never (to get support against LDP's misinterpretation of my attempt to help the guy looking for White girls)

The cheapest city would likely be a place no foreigner would dare tread. If you are brave, speak good Spanish and are willing to look at several casas full of mediocre chicas until you stumble across a gem, I'd say Cali (can't believe I am posting that here). But for most guys, Cartagena offers a better total experience and if you bargain well, action should not be much more costly. BOG is definiterly the MOST costly.

CTG is the most "userfriendly" place to pickup semi/pro action in COL. I like Manila House, (200k to girl + 60K to house for 24 hrs). The chick were friendly and cute (7-8 out 10 range). I like light skin myself, and Colombia is great for that, Cali more so than CTG, but many working chicas in CTG are from other cities (Bogota / Cali / Medellin, etc.,) anyway. Since I'm not a "surfer" beach lover, I found CTG boring after 3-4 days. You're not going to find lots of blond/blue-eye chicas in COL, but if you like Latino looking, light skin chicas, then Col is great, friendly & cheap. Non-Pro is even better IMO.

Everyone has there preferences when i comes to girls, some guys like big tits, small tits, light skin vs dark skin, blond vs brunette, it's all good. Mongers I've met from all countries and culture are rarely "racist", most Monger's are quite friendly to one another across racial/national/cultural lines, because we have at least ONE COMMON interest (PUSSY!).

Sandrabbit,

You couldn't have asked for the mecca of "love motels" to be situated any closer to the airport then they are.

Ask any taxi driver and he'll take you to a row of motels within five minutes of airport with names like "Coconito" "Paracaidas" and "Campo Amor" among others.

Sandrabit,

All the love motels are located at Transversal 93, near airport.
There are about 10 or so establishmets. Most taxi drivers will now where they are. At nigh they are illuminated with bright neon lights.

I have tried "Conejito Suites", the price was 45,000 pesos for a clean room with porno TV and clean shower.

can anybody suggest strip joints other than Lido & La 49 (which only happen LATE) where one can watch sexy dancers. Less concerned about extras as there are PLENTY of options for that in BOG, but I like to see some skin to get me in the mood BEFORE midnight (when Lido & La 49 get hopping). Gracias compadres.

Will report back my findings in this critical area of research.

Surfer, try Aroma and Tango....or Tango and Aroma.... on 14 around 95. Mostly a strip show.

As for places to stay near the Salitre area, try
http://www.bogotaapartments.com/

Much less than $95. Tell him Bill from Portland sent you.

Other than that, just got back from three weeks in Bogota. With both good and bad girls.... and still believe that the bad girls are not that bad! Even met one from Medellin that in convinced I'm her boyfriend!

Juan Pablo's is the best place and the one least likely to rip you off. I tried some of the houses, but the chicks were mostly ugly. Didn't try the escort services, since you never know who they are really gonna send.

10-01-04, 03:36
Surfer,

strip joints? they don't really excist. There are three that I know of (where extras are not emphasized) in Chapinero. A couple on Caracas between calle 63-64 and one on calle 61/kra13.

These are very dumpy wannabee joints, dark, below average girls and most of all, terrible atmosphere. unfortunately, the only places where you can be guarranteed descent strippers are at the "Fortynine," "Lido," and "Casanovass" type joints. But you're right these places are only for late consumption. I would go to centro Caracas and calle 21.

Mamey & Bill: Thanks. I've been to a couple down in the teens or 20s that were as you describe (fairly rough). The 49 show gets great at 1am or so, but that is SO late for me to still go get action afterwards.

Bill, I am not familiar with Juan Pablo's. Have you written about it on this board (in which case I will go back through the old threads)? If not, can you tell me a little about it.

Bogota wrap-up

Just completed the night's activities during my layover here in Bogota. Started out at Le Mansion, which looks like the home of a small 3rd world country dictator - through a high gate guarded by imposing looking rent-a-soldiers in black with a pat down and then into the foyer. Pretty swank with young, absolutely doable lovelies of various ages, complexions, and builds. Only 2 other mongers there when I arrived. I got a bad taste in my mouth from the girls, though - the same cell-phone-glued-to-the-ear, tacky jewelry, and hard-core look as the mercenary pros I've seen in Cuba's high-end discos. Maybe GFE was possible with some of these girls, but my voice of reason was screaming at me to get the hell out of there and go somewhere else.

Surfer, I checked out Whiskeria 49, but it was a little dead when I went. No one really jumped out at me (except the pan handlers outside), so I quickly moved on.

Based on Simple Man's recent review of Zhivago's, I decided to give that a try, and I'm so glad I did. FYI, Juan Pablo's and Zhivago's are one and the same, although the sign outside says Juan Pablo's (look at his post a couple pages back for the address). Lots of pretty girls inside. I chose a 23 year old spinner who treated me like a king for a little over an hour for 150,000 pesos (57 dollars). The house charged me 70,000 for the room, which may be their weekend rate, I don't know. There were maybe 30 girls there, at least 3/4 of whom were doable, with a couple of standouts, including mine. Spoke with the owner, a real nice guy who maintains this lively, bright, and comfortable environment and keeps it stocked with nice chicas. Were they as pretty as Le Mansion? On the whole, no, but, like I said, the service was great, and the girls were young and friendly. I recommend it.

Bogota wrapup.
Checked Charlotte's in Zona Rosa. The place has now new owners, that have renamed it to something to something along the lines of "Cityscape" or "Metroland", can't remember exatly.
The music if more "techno" now and the bar lighting went from warm red to electric blue. The pretty waitresses are no longer there, the bar staff are now men. the entrance is free of charge. Drinks start from 2500. On friday at 22:30 there were only three 40yo working "girls". The lovers of mature women may find the place to be of interest.
I then went next door to "Mister Barbilla". The entrance fee is 10,000.
This is no LDV of CTG. The place is moslty full of colombians althouhg there were some gringos and I would say the women to men ratio was 4/5. Lound music inside, the place is so packed there in no place to stay.
I met up with a girl I knew from LDV and her 5 friends. Talkning to them I have learned that ALL women in "Mister Barbillo" are "prepago", i.e. either kept women or looking for business. The prices are also much higher than LDV. If in GTG I could agree 80,000 for a couple of hours, here the same girl was asking 130,000 and declined my 100,000 offer. Later that night she foud a customer who paid 200,000 for her. Her friends charge even more apprx 300,000 range. These girls live high life, they are not poor. The girl will have a plastic surgery next week, her frieds already have implants, etc. They drive newish full-size cars, - luxury in Colombia.
To wrap up, dissapointing night, had to come back home without pussy.

I saw a 10 at the MAnsion and she was hanging around Juan Pablo's one nite and took her home for a GFE. I am convinced that many of these girls would make good girlfriends, but most have kids, and I would never bring a 10 back to my city!

Surfer
10-04-04, 20:46
Custer: What time were you at La 49? NEVER good before 11-midnight or so.

The prices people are quoting here are SO high; perhaps inflation, or looking like a rich gringo or poor Spanish skiils or too anxious or whatever. I am NOT saying I am a "master" or anything, but I am skeptical that better pricing cannot be obtained even at high end joints. That being said, taxi drivers and hotel bellman can find the same quality girls on their off nights (or full time freelancers) without all that overhead and markup. Just my opinion. Back to BOG in 2 weeks so I will check it out though I VERY rarely go to the tourist trap type places.

Okay, read what I could. I think my contribution/extraction ratio is pretty good overall, so I'll make a blatant request...

I'm arriving early evening on Tuesday or Wednesday, staying at the something Europa by the airport, leaving early Wednesday. Will have three hours total to monger, staging from my airport hotel.

I don't mind taking a taxi to town if necessary, but the most efficient airport-area massage with extras around 9pm would be absolutely perfect. Alternatively, if I need to stay out until midnight, including incidental fun, so be it.

Could anybody help me??

The price of Bogata is an attraction, so I'm not willing to pay exhorbinantly for the convenience of time, but willing to pay a little extra.

Based on my report of Charlottes, somebody PM me asking about availability of mature women (30-45yo) in Colombia. I post the reply here for all to read.

In Bogota the place that used to be called "Charlottes", now I think is it called "Cityscape" or "Metropolis" the entrance is only about 25meters away from Mr. Baarbilla discoteque in zona Rosa.
Go after 22:00 is it a regular/normal bar, but all mature single women at the bar are for hire.

Also I see another place being advertised in Classified section of "El Tiempo" under "Senoras". They have 8 mature ladies in 30-45yo range. The quoted price is 120,000 pesos. Tel 482 6356.
They are on Carrera 28.

hi all,

in this month's issue of "soho magazin" there is a good article with a very nice description of the services in abejitas' massage parlor. also a complete list of massage parlors in bogota, cali, medellin.

the address is
http://soho2.terra.com.co/soho/articuloview.jsp?id=2439

or go to www.soho.com.co and look in "sexo" in the navigation bar in the left.
you can also buy the magazin in any news stand or pharmacie.

this is a really nice magazin, kind of local version of fhm or maxim where there are sexy pictures or local tv stars, and articles about night life, bars, etc etc. i totally recomend it. it is in spanish only.

check also in the top right navigation bar "sohot" there are lots of pictures of colombian models, tv starts, etc. colombian chicks are really hot!

btw abejitas also offers outcalls, price is 150.000 cop for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
colombian chicks are really hot

enjoy

La Mansion is a big white house, with a black gate in front, where you should honk your horn, and an armed guard will open the door. Is located on Calle 116, con autopista norte.

Once the regular padding for weapons, you enter a huge lobby, with surrounding rooms and a set of titanic type stairs that lead to the second floor.
In the rooms around the lobby, you find a pool table, and multiple sofas, chairs, and poker style tables, where you can arrange to be seated by one of the multiple waiters.

La Mansion is known to be one of the best ***** houses in Bogotá. There are suppose to be plenty more private houses like this one in the city, but I haven’t been in one for the last ten years.

Once you arrive to La Mansion, you will be asked to be seated, and to have a drink. I actually don’t remember the prices, but I ordered half a bottle of chivas regal, that went around Col$ 175.000.oo or US$ 70.oo. Is usually cheaper by the bottle, and you can ask the girl to drink whatever you are drinking.

Once you are comfortable seated, you start looking for whatever fancies you. The night I was there I hardly saw an ugly girl, or a fat one, most of them were extremely beautiful, blonds and brunettes, lots of them with breast implants.
I arrived around 10:00 pm, but I noticed that it really gets going, around 11:30, although it closes around 2:30 in the morning.

My girl for the night was called Sara, although, I knew it was her professional name. Gorgeous white girl, with jet black hair, excellent disposition, and intelligent conversation. I don’t know how many of them speak English, but I saw lots of foreigners, both American and European.

I hardly realized that we talked for a couple of hours, until it was around 12:00 and the bottle was almost finished, so I started negotiating. She asked for Col$400.000.oo, I said that I only had dollars, and that even though she was worth all that money, I though US$ 100.oo was enough. She accepted, and we went upstairs to one of the rooms, the waiter offered three types of rooms, but we went to the cheapest one. I settled my account with the waiter, giving him a good tip, and I wasn’t disturbed in the two hours we spend inside the room. After that, we had an extra drink in the lobby, until they were about to close, and I left.

Something important I noticed, is that none of these girls stay at this house after closing, so all of them must go home or find another place to party, and that should lower the price substantially.

In conclusion, if you have a night off in Bogotá, I really recommend this place, a little bit on the expensive side, but safe, nice and full of beautiful woman.

Does anyone have any information on a Casa in Bogota, that has four floors, and approximately fifty chicas from all aver Latin America. I understand from a friend of mine in Medellin, that it is an "Exquitite Establishment." The price quoted was 150,000 CP per hour. But I cannot remember the Name or location.

Good report.

What day of the week were you there?

The one day I was there was a Monday and there was only one more customer: a white haired, local businessman in a suit and tie.

So one hundred dollars plus 70 dollars for the bottle. THat's 170.

Did you have to pay extra for the upstairs room?

I thought that the girls were pretty, but not prettier than at the clubs. At La Mansion you pay more for the setting, not for the quality of the girls.

I was there on a Thursday, and there was a good amount of clients.

I probably ended un paying around $250.oo for the whole thing, including tips.

I agree with you about La Mansion, you can find girls as pretty at the clubs, but I don’t enjoy the club setting very much, also, I like feeling secure, and the setting makes you feel secure.

By the way, security in Bogota, is something worth paying for.

One crazy thing about The Mansion is that the guards treat you like s___ when you come in and then make sure you show your receipt on the way out, but then think they have done you some kind of favor and hit you up for a propina. A propina for WHAT? For hassling you!!

I found much better and more fun places to go there than the Mansion. I even took a Mansion girl home. The best one there, for the whole nite, for $60. but met her in another place where I didn't have to deal with those wolves that hound you in there. $60, all nite, what a deal !! And she was gr-reat.

I went to a place tuesday night called Palacetes, about 10 mins from Plaza Salitre, (towards downtown ) had about 12 or so chicas of varying types, i picked a tall black girl ,"Vanessa" from way down south. She was totally enamored with the Rabbit, toda la noche was 160,000. Picked her up at 11pm, and she left about 7am. High light of the night was when during the 2nd BBBJ she swallowed the leche with out a flinch or batting an eye! Her exit fee for the house was 100,000. Don't buy nothing in this place but the girl! The manager will ask the girls to 1 by 1 parade by and introduce theirself, then you can decide which of them you want to talk with. I based my decision on attitude, looks, body and did they seem to enjoy being there. There were a few that appeared to just not want to be there, they were automatically disqualified by the Rabbit, reguardless of looks!

Kind of aggressive there Bill12, but we appreciate your opinion anyways. Charlies is probably the best place for a new comer or loner to stay at. It is not a place to find girls, but rather an excellent atmosphere where English is spoken, and a very friendly supportive atmosphere. I've been staying at Charlies for 15 years now, sometimes a month at a time. The phone is 011-57-1-214-6069. While I been to most major cities, and some not so major in Colombia, I still like Bogota and Charlies the best.

Just back from BOG. Lido was slow. Juan Pablos and Casa Nova were great, with a couple of major babes in each. For nooners I checked out the dozen or so services with web pages lised in the back of the local newspaper. Most were bait and switch, 2 were honest; www.chuscas.com who I used a few months back, and also www.latinwomen.es.mn which kinda shows faces making it difficult to deceive much. Returning in Feb.

Hi guys,

I am headed to Bogota next month and I am looking for a decent hotel to stay in the northern part of the city...I used to stay at Hotel charleston which is on carrera 85-13 (right around the corner from Casanovas) but it has gotten quite expensive. I am looking for a place in the $50-$75 USD range. Got any recommendations? I am hoping for a place close to Juan Pablos, Lido, casanova areas.

Thanks,

Ron,

I saw your post on this service. I have thought about using them in the past but was afraid of bait and switch. Can you recommend any specific ladies? Also, what was provided? Please be specific (bbbj, bbbjtc, cim, etc)

I tend to prefer them with a "nasty" streak meaning that they do pretty much everything you see in pornos. Got any recommendations and contact info on pretty ladies that offer such services in Bogota?

Thanks,

Lusty

PS-I will be there next month and will post a report.

Hamilton Court is MUCH better IMHO, but often fully booked in advance. Cost is right aboity 100K (but with Dollar dropping like a rock even that will be $50 soon).

SOMETIMES you can get good deals at tourist info center at El Dorado, but weekends (starting on Thursday night) in ZonaRosa are tough (better to book in advance). You can get Tequendama most weekends for pretty cheap (business hotel in Centro Internacional) but quite far from Zona Norte action.

What's up fellas!

I'm a first time visitor to Bogota getting there in three weeks. I would REALLY appreciate going out with someone from here. I have to admit, I am a bit nervous with everyone cautioning about this and that, I can either sit home and fret or go out and live life to the fullest. I've been Rio, Sao Paulo, DR, PR, Thailand, etc. so I am hoping that Bogota will be comparable in terms of safety and overall atmosphere. My general feeling tells me it is more akin to a NYC/LA atmosphwere (both of which I have been to many times before and even lived). Another couple of interesting sites I've stumbled across are as follows (for all the other newbies like myself!):

Team,

I will be in Bogota in March for two weeks on business. Can you recomend a nice hotel for under 100 USD. I was considering the Howard Johnsons. It looks clean and safe. Are all hotels girl fiendly?

I would also like some guidance in where to go. I have been to every major cat house in Latin America and know Rio like the back of my hand. I know Morrisons in Caracas, Cadillac in Mexico City, Cafe Foto in Sao Paulo, Centaurus/Barbarella in Rio, Blacks in Buenos Aires but have never been to Columboa. I speak Spanish fluently, I am actually from Mexico.

Will anyone be in Bogota the first two weeks in March? PM me with some info. I will be in SP and Rio from the 17th to the 31st of January of this month, if anyone would like me to show them around I would love to.

Regards,

RR

Just found the name & phone number of the guy who took me to PALACETES,(chica casa) call Hector @ 716-3173 or 315-764-8311, he's kind of a man-for-hire, where ever you need to go or if there's something you are looking for, he can get it or find it for you. Make sure you settle on a price for his service before hand! If he asks where you got the number, tell him that the gringo he helped in November in Villa Luz gave it to you. from the places you mention, I surmise you prefer high end places. Accordingly, La Mansion, Lido, Casanova's etc may be great for you, though I still would check out La 49 (which I've written about in some detail if you scroll down the thread aways).

Almost all hotels in BOG are guest friendly (though SOME may add an extra charge). I'd recommend Hamilton Court then Saint Simon. I would DEFINITELY insist on getting a hotel in the Zona Norte/Rosa.

You say you are going for two weeks so I assume business requires you to stay in BOG. I would STRONGLY urge you to get out of BOG on the weekends (or whenever you can), especially because your Spanish is fluent you should do well in regional capitals.

Try the Dann Carlton. Nicer hotel than the HJ in my opinion, and close to the Zona Rosa and Parque 93. Call them and ask for their corporate rate.

If you prefer a chain with US associations (all be it just in the name), try the Embassy Suites on K7 (at about Cl 60 ~ 70 IIRC).

I took up residence in Zona Norte at the Fontana hotel (US$90/night) - nice place and teeming with amazingly beautiful, well-off women all over the hotel. The hotel set me up with a driver and car for US$6/hr. I didn't like the driver as he was old and not very friendly--so as I would go from place to place with different cab drivers, I found one I liked who knew about the mongering scene well and stuck with him. My spanish is at best intermediate, but I'm latino so I fit in moreso than others. Although the quality of the women at spots like La Mansion, Lido, Casanova's etc. was very good, they are all major rip-off joints IMO. They charge upwards of 20k pesos for one drink (uno trago!). Not my type of place.

Anyway, my driver told told me the best place to go is an area named Conrrado-so I took him up on it (vamos). Depending on where you are coming from, negotiate with the driver to get you there--from the Norte area expect to pay between 10,000-15,000 pesos depending on your bargaining skills (off the meter). The ride is about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The best thing to do is have the cab driver drive you around the 5 or 6 blocks so you can get a general feel of the area. It is essentially a red light district with girls all over the place (street, bars, clubs).

Conrrado obviously isn't the greatest of areas, but for the most part I didn't feel like there was any impending doom. The best place here is La Piscina. A huge place with an olympic sized pool smack in the middle of it. There were around 80-100 girls here and an equal number of guys. The ladies were charging anywhere from 30k-80k pesos for short-time. You can definitely negotiate here and you will find some real stunners. My standards are pretty high having spent a significant amount of time in Brazil--but I would say there were at least four 10's here. Boob jobs were pretty common amongst the chicas. To sit around the pool you have to buy a bottle (or half a bottle). Since I was alone I didn't bother and was content standing around with my 3k pesos cerveza (~US$1.25). No cover charge.

My advice would be to check out the four/five blocks around this area as you will find quite a few gems. I'll warn you guys now--if you come out of La Piscina and make a right, at the end of the block you'll find a few transsexuals. They aren't as aggressive as some of the ones in Brazil are--so just take this as a light-hearted warning in case you're stoned or drunk. They are pretty obvious to spot though--not super-passable like the ones in Brazil who can pretty much fool damn near anyone. Speaking of stoned, if you are into perico, you can acquire this from any of the vendors selling gum/cigs for 'un pase'. 4-5k pesos will get you a baggie (~1 gram) which should be enough to wild out for the night.

My favorite place was also the most racous. Its around the block (or two blocks away) and called La Casona in the area of Conrrado. The girls here are not as hot as La Piscina, but you will have fun here. To put this in context, patrons, including the ladies were doing lines in the open on the tables--this might be way to crazy for most here, but I had a BLAST! I met this one guy who calls himself John and can speak broken spanish. He hooked me up with one of his girls, a sexy, petite 19 year old named Xiomara for $55 all night long. Feel free to give him a call at either 3103058652, or 3103058663--just tell him that he hooked up one of your friends with that girl Xiomara. She was pretty cool--we had one long 2 hour session after we got back to my place around 1am, she left at 7am--I was too tired for morning action.

Other action--there are three chica houses within several feet of each other at the corner of Calle 67-18 (I think this is in the Zona Norte area, but it might be right on the border).

Hope this helps some of you.

Posted this elsewhere, figured I'd share it here as well

I just got back from Bogota....again. The working chicas will rival any city in the country, including trumping CTG, esp. on sheer volume alone. Can't speak for MDE or CLO, as I've never been to either city...yet.

It being the capital of the country, there are way more spots to hit than the average Colombian city. Stumbling around Zona Rosa alone at night, I hit quite a few spots that I didn't even know existed. Just had the casa-commisioned touts easily found on Calle 82, point you in the right direction for 10.000-20.000COP max. for the tour. Never had an issue with them being dangerous or anything.

Stumbled out of one place in Zona Rosa at 6:00 in the morning that I'm assuming is the exact one another monger mentioned to me, around the corner from Lancaster on Cra. 15. Talent-level, was 4-7.5, cost was like 100.000-200.000COP for TLN, depending on your negotiation. I only went to check it out for future notice. I was two sheets to the wind, loaded up on Ron Caldas rum.

Not sure where all the fear about it not being safe on the streets of Bogota is coming from. In my experiences (4x) in Bogota, haven't experienced anything negative, except a taxi driver who wanted to over-charge me. This includes being in the red-light district around La Piscina at night, like 2-3 in the morning solo. Maybe I'm tempting fate, but never felt in harm's way. Even spotted a chica I met in LDV last Nov. working in La Paisa Bar (across from Atunes), now getting boned at 27.000COP for 30 mins. TLN was negotiable, but she was trying to keep it high (150.000-200.000COP).

I can also speak for La Casona. There are now two locations, one further north. I went to the one on the same block as Atunes & La Paisa, along with about 5 other spots. It's a hole-in-the-wall!!!! Many of the other chicas from this area come through La Casona when their other working spots close, before heading elsewhere (Fortaleza). They can be had for cheap (80.000-100.000COP for TLN). Many of these chicas have no idea where Zona Rosa or El Norte is. Can be a wild place to hang (open coke-snorting, interactive stripshow etc.), but the people are generally pretty cool, into their own thing for the nite. Every now and then, a decent-looking chica (maybe a 7) passes thru, but the average chica there would be a 5, on a scale of 10. On-site sessions cost 27.000 COP for 30 mins.

This past trip, with a local monger, we went to Fortaleza, the after hours spot frequented primarily by the locals and the chicas who work in those spots around Piscina. I had been there before solo, never had a problem. You can probably get those same chicas from La Piscina or the spots around them for less than 100.000COP for TLN. I forget the drink prices, but there is no salida for the chica and there's no entrance fee.

However, if you're a nervous person, or speak no Spanish, I wouldn't advise you going to Fortaleza. If those two warnings don't apply, just mind your business, ignore the coke being openly snorted around you, the dudes falling out from being too drunk, and concentrate on the chicas and your drinks, you'll have no problems.

- When you when you get mixed up in somebody's business, you'll find what you were searching for. Trouble.

- If you don't go looking for trouble, going to areas you are not familiar with, esp. without a local, you will be fine.

- If you decide to save a few bucks on the hotel cost, and stay in a shitty area, guess what, you're asking for it. We met a dude from Australia who'd just bailed out a German dude who had gotten robbed on the street of everything he owned. Not sure how it happened, but it did happen in a rough area where there are cheap hostels and hotels. The Aussie dude was really cool, but spoke no Spanish. He seemed okay when we left him in Fortaleza, but it's definitely not advisable if you speak no Spanish and have a curious mind.

- Ask your taxi upfront if he knows where your destination is, and how much he'll charge you. Most taxis use the meter at night in Zona Rosa. From Fortaleza or La Piscina at night, give them 12.000COP and they'll be happy, if the meters off. With a meter, it'll cost about 8.000COP during the day, 9.000COP during the night.

- Final piece of advice, generally use the taxis in front of the clubs, as the security dudes generally will be looking out for you, if something shady is going down. They want you to return to their establishment. Grabbing a taxi off the street in a rough neighborhood at night, you are asking for it.

Just my two cents on Bogota. YMMV. Hope it helps.

Gidday guys,

Been en Bogota with Bob the last semana, been here a few times over the years and never liked the place before and it is still the same.

The first night visited The Mansion y Lido, never seen one good looking girl in the place, all seem like they are worn out *****s that have done their tour of duty overseas and come home to retire !!!!, 20,000 p for beers ( what a rip off )

Visited La Pisina, it seems the most happening place en BOG, all the good looking chickies here are Paisas´s ( from MDE, MANS, PER )
Around the corner is The Castle, again all the good lookers are from MDE region.

As for the security, it seemed the taxi drivers are mas worried than Bob and I, Pisina and Castle are down town and their are some weired things around but ( maybe Bob and I are big and ugly !! ) we didnt have any problems.

Thats all for now, regards.

I saw the dynamic duo the night after you had them. Both in Excedra. Only one walking with a limp. Better luck with the other next time...

Well it has come my time to share Bogota's best find. This girl was discovered by TobyGru and Member #1226 a year ago (see their posts) and they were kind enougth to share her number with me. For a year I kept this girl for myself, but now I have moved on.

Jimela is a rare find. Treat her nicely and in bed she will give you her real multiple orgasms, woderful eye-contact BJ, and no holes barried fun.

If you are staying in a posh hotel, you are probably fed up with the looks you get at recepion when you bring a girl in tigh low-cut jeans and pink blouse, i.e. the type that one picks up in night-clubs, and looks and behaves like a pro. Jimela is always smartly dressed in a sharp business suit (alike in the photo attached), (she has many, you will never see her dressed in the same twice). You will not be embarrased with her in a smart restaurant our hotel.

If you want her cellular number, PM me. She charges $200,000 for the evening or $300,000 overnight.

Note, she holds a full time day job, thus she only available at week-ends and at nights. You also need to book in advance.

Ewald,

Surely some places in Colombia are unsafe, but certeanly Bogota is not the case. If you hire a scort service, probably you don even need it. Anyway is better you doesn´t use too much expensive gadgets, because anytime you can drop it anywhere.

Scort services are not the best way t hire a girl, mainly because they will charge you in advance (by credit card) for someone who surely are not the girl of your dreams. Nevertheless, direct hiring (which is better) at discos requires some spanish capabilities and a good negociation. That is the main problem for foreigners... they usually paid more than the local people. Remember that any colombian girl always is happy for having sex with gringos (familiar term for designing foreigners).

I am sure that you will need some guidance for enjoying those nice Nigth Clubs located in Zona Rosa at Bogota. Let me tell you that you just arrived to the place of your dreams if you want to find a GFE or even more pleasant girl experiences...

Let me know what exactly is your plain and I will be pleased to giding you toward a new level of fun, here in this beautiful place.

I am a photographer living here for a long while, so I have a lot of info about where to find girls for partying in Bogota.

So just call me to my cell phone: [Telephone Number deleted by Admin], and we will discuss my fees for a very professional tourist guide.

I was looking at the above website (doing my due diligence for upcoming trip) and noticed a couple of things.

1. There are several girls that are charging way over the average for Bogota. One even wants 400K per hour! What is going on here? Does she have some special talent that they don't tell us?

2. The last three or four girls look familar. I seem to have seen them on Argentina web sites. Does this mean that they are Argentina girls that are in Bogota or is this site a total fake?

Thanks for your clarification.

This post looks like some kook spamming the board trying to fleece visitors. He wants to be hired as a guide yet thinks there is no danger in BOG? Even in the Zona Rosa people get mugged regularly. ALWAYS keep your wits about you. I feel Bogota is more dangerous than other cities and is CERTAINLY muchj more dangerous than Cartagena. That is provable fact.

It is also obvious that English is not Alex's first language, not that there is anything wrong with that. Also, this is not a member of the board but, rather, aguy who appears to have just "joined" to advertise.

I wonder why Jackson didn't delete the post entirely.

Hi there,

Check this website: www.clasifica.com then go to "personales", choose "mujer busca ******", then choose bogota and in city select "santa fe de Bogota".

There are a few girls advertising their services in this website.

I contacted Daniela, she is really good!. She is originally from medellin and thus has a lovely accent, and a great attitude. Her body is nice with long legs, and great, a really great ass, plus small waist and small breasts. Too small breasts for my taste, but hey! you can not have everything! can you? ;)

She only charges 60.000 + taxi money which can be 15.000 more. The times that i met her she performed so well that she received a tip. Sorry guys for hurting the bussiness but she was really good.

Her body looks just unbelievable in those low cut jeans that she uses.

I'd like to say some words on security in Bogota...

!Watch Out! Bogota is unsafe as hell. Check statistics of car robbery and arm assault and you will get scared. Just a piece of advice, if someone has a gun and wants your wallet or you car, just give it to him... car is insured, and whatever is in your wallet does not worth your life or a bullet in your body.

Do not wear expensive gadgets, do not walk too much in unprotected areas specially the areas where rich people live.

On the other hand in the widely visited areas like Park 93, Zona Rosa, and even in the area surrounding "la piscina" you will be totally safe. There is plenty of private guards there because they want you to come and spend money and unsafety will definitely keep you away. I have been in piscina many times, drunk like a fish and nothing ever happened to me.

Enjoy!

Ryck

Take care mates,

Osca

Photographers i know do seem to have the model hookups but DAMN i'd be wary of any local guide who thinks Bogota is safe. I felt constantly watched when i was there.

Good point Ryck, dont think that you are safe just because you are in a rich area. I know plenty of locals who have been mugged down there.

Good point Ryck, dont think that you are safe just because you are in a rich area. I know plenty of locals who have been mugged down there.I remember when I met that Canadian girl walking around the Universidad Nacional here in Bogota. She is white head, blue eyes and certeanly taller than the average girls here. Not surprisingly, she complaint all the time about being watched everywhere she was.

Let me say that every "gringo" (familiar for American) is observed by locals mainly because they found caucasic people attractive to them.

By other side, many of the crimes against property takes place in rich areas. Isn´t obvious? But here, according to statistics, is safer than Mexico city or even Buenos Aires. In those places kidnapping and assalts are everywhere.

I found funny that many of members in the forum visit places such as "la piscina", which is located at the unsafest and most dongerous place in Bogota. That place is known as the oficial "red district" which called Santa Fe district. This is the only legal area in the city open for prostitution and for sex-related nigth clubs. But also the majority of crimes (mainly personal injuries and assalts) occur in that district. Nevertheless, as far as I know, nobody in the forum had a bad experience there.

The rest of the touristic places are safer. But sex-locals are formally ilegal in areas such as Zona Rosa. That´s the reason why many places outside "Santa Fe" are hidden.

I would like to see the SOURCE of Alex's "statistics" showing Bogota has less crime than BA. Mexico DF has a horrible reputation for crime, and perhaps it is worse than Bogota but I have never had much interest in DF really so am less knowledgeable.

As I mentioned I spent the first week of March in BA and NOT only in Recoleta or Baqrrio Norte rich areas. We cruised to Dolly in Flores, a large red light area with ZERO gringos but TONS of drunken Argentines. We walked the microcentro at all hours.

Now this thing about crime in rich areas, while true, does NOT mean it is not MUCH worse in poor areas. Who here has EVER been to the South part of the city (beyond La Candelaria)? Hell centro and the Centro Internacional is WAY sketchy after the crowds leave when business hours end, and these are NOT poor areas like exist further South.

This is NOT to say one cannot enjoy BOG in REASONABLE safety by using good judgment, but BEWARE false claims made by touts out to make a buck. Use big city common sense, RESEARCH THOROUGHLY (ask LOTS of questions of taxi drivers, hotel staff etc) and go with a Spanish speaker you trust.

I am NOT Bogota bashing as I do like the city, but to suggest it is safer than BA strains Alex's already minimal credibility to the breaking point.

Not to say BOG is safe because it's definitely up there in crime. But I did stay there for a week in the southwest, right off of 1 de mayo near plaza de las americas. Never had a problem there whatsoever.

BTW I'm trying to email Jackson but it doesnt seem to work. I want him to delete post# 228 by me in this thread. The girl is almost certainly a non-pro and it's probably therefore really inappropriate that her pic is up there.

As far as crime statistics go, Bogota, Rio, Medellin, Caracas, and Sao Paulo are all neck and neck for violent crime, at a level slightly above that of the most dangerous places in Canada or the US. Cali has twice the murder rate of these places. And some of the border regions in these countries are really like the wild west, with hundreds of murders per 100k residents per year.

Just got back from Bogota and thought I'd post. Used a couple of services/listing out of El Tiempo and don't recommend any of them. Decided I'd try E-extasis and see what they'd send me. Requested Sara the first night and was pleasantly surpirsed. The women enjoys her work. I'd give her a 7 on looks, 9 on quality.

Requested Roxanna the second night. 9 on looks and a 2 on quality. This girl justs wants the money and had so many rules I couldn't keep track. No Daty, no BJ, no sucking her tits. Not sure why she was even in the business.

Beware and ask the service for what you want.

arrived on a saturday afternoon and took an apartment at real suites 85. i would recommend this place, the rate of cop 104,500 (tax included) is reasonable, cash or c/c. the staff is friendly and girls are announced to your room and let in without formalities. if you want to be extra safe, you can ask the security to identify them. ride from the airport is cop 18,000, but just 11,000 the other way. there are plenty of atm, cafes, internet and every kind of small business shops. a 24/7 supermarket is on the big plaza. and the zona rosa is just three or four blocks away.

now for the girls. i had a couple of 'massage' addresses from a previous post or yellow paes. i take a taxi to cr. 16 -62 or something, and when i arrive the building was like the phantoms house. hard to believe someone had lived there in the past 10 years. oh well, another ride to cr 11-79, mid block by the stairs. i walk in and a boy introduces me three young girls straight in the aisle. the first two were absolutely gorgeous, and the third not less than a 7. i go to the room with the second one, nathalia. tall, thin, full breast, incredible ass and hips. beautiful model face with the blackish hair, white complexion. she undress and the breast was not less than perfect in size and shape. i was explained the price, from 20,000 cop for practically nothing in a small massage room, to 100,000 for the hour. she was very nice and explained that no bbbj was allowed, her attitude was a little shy. i knew that she was the type of girl i wanted to spend a week together, not an hour in a squalid brothel, so i opted to stay 20 minutes with one intercourse, for 50,000. i just wanted her number and eventually got it. i called her on monday and she promised to meet me at the hotel, but never showed up. no surprise as she never seemed so decided about it. maybe i will try again when i return in bogota in few days.

a nicer story, at night i take a taxi to the clubs, not knowing that it was so close, the guy ask for 3,000 cop. i complain a little and he makes me notice that at night the correct fare was 3,700 so i ended paying that. next thing is that i find myself in this gay disco. only 12,500 cop an free drinks, but when i realized was too late. the clubs with the girls were just by the side and i gave a peek to a place nicely decorated with maybe 10 girls, drinks where 25,000 and the barfine 80,000. that seemed too much to me, crossed the road to this copacabana place, slightly cheaper that the other. there where very few girls inside, all doable but no stunners. the place got slower and slower and i end hooking up this blonde, l. that normally would not be my type. she proved to be great company, and agreed to leave for 100,000 for something that turned to be tln. also the management discounted 10,000 for the regular barfine. i saw her again for another night an again the sex was very good with a lot of partecipation, total gfe if you want, note that is not something that i necessarily look for. her body is not the best but to compensate she has large breast and as i said a great attitude.

one afternoon i also called daniela that was mentioned in another post. she is a young mulatta, nice ass with a some beer belly, blonde curly hair and an ok but not memorable face. she charges cop 60,000 the hour plus taxi, someway she seems not to be inclined to stay beyond the time she has been paid for. covered bj but good sex and attitude, personally i would not repeat if given other options.

i left bogotà for cartagena with a special fare by avianca, only cop 311,000 round-trip. i didn't meet any of these extra security measures mentioned elsewhere, so it is really not necessary to show up before one hour your scheduled departure. they did not even checked id to match boarding pass when boarding. there is free wi-fi in the airport.

will write more about cartagena, in the meantime please check a couple pictures in the photo section.

In middle of April I was in Bogota. Reached there on sunday afternoon.

Went ot check Relax on cra. 14 but looded like it was closed. Its just across Abejitas. So I went to Abejitas but all girls were busy. Receptionist askem me to come back in 30 Min. I was feeling horny so I went to Supermasajes on cra 11. I could not find address. There was sign also. so went back to abejitas and waited for them to be free.

Looks like prices have gone up. Before I used to pay 125000 peso F/S, now I was told its 150000 peso.

Anyway there was not much to choose from, only 2 girls were there to chose Ruby. Massage itself was lame but cant complain about "other services".

Looks like Zona Rosa area is dead on Sundays.

Thanks for the info sx. Was in Bogota on Monday - Wednesday and went to Bar Zhivago (go back a few pages for the address). The place was exactly as described with several knock outs. I opted for the in-house room because I was not sure whether my hotel would allow me to bring a guest.

The bar itself is good to hang out, not much in terms of hustle from the girls and the beers are 10,000COP. I picked out an amazing looking girl from Cali and though she originally asked for $ 100 US, I got her down to $70US (thanks mostly to the information found on this great board...good job jackson). Service was great and left pretty much after I was done since I did not want to get tempted to go for another girl.

Definitely a must see place if you go to Bogota.

Ask any taxista for Centro Comercial Andino and you'll be there.

If they drop you on Carrera 11 just walk through Andino to the other side.

(By the way, if you can't figure out how the taxistas make a living on those fares you've figured it out correctly: they generally can't. Tip them well -- at least if they're straight with you).

The taxis in MDE are metered, and every driver has always turned it on without me asking.

I can't speak to Cali taxistas, never having been there, but I think the drivers in MDE are great.

Hi Guys,

I'm arriving to Bogota on Friday and would like to hook up with some fellow members to go out with, looking forward to visiting the piscina. Anyway, I'm coming from Manizales, working, and haven't had much action. Had a friend from work arrange a meeting last night, upscale call girl place, apperantly used by narcs and well do to people. Anyway, a nice student showed up at my hotel last night, 19 years old, light tanned, natural tits, and all in all, a very good experience. Without getting into to much detail, everything was a go, very much a girlfriend experience, great attitude. The downside, US$ 120. A little steep for my taste in latin america, but sinced it was arranged through a friend I didn't want him to look bad, and in the end, it was a good experience, so what the hell. Anyway, looking for some sexy thin sluty high heel women in Bogata for a good shagging. Look forward to meeting anyone whose interested.

Yes, the taxis are metered in MDE. Try taking a taxi from point A to point B several different times with different taxistas. You will find many that can find the longest way to go and tack a few mil onto your bill. From Botero Plaza to Parque Lleras I paid anywhere from 4600 to 8000 pesos. Hay ladrones en MDE tambien. My novia was born and raised in MDE.

I would agree that La Piscina is in a bad part of town, but definitely not the worst. There is usually police on hand doing frequent rounds in their cars throughout the night. I've been to that area many times during the afternoon, and late night, walked the area from club to club, without incident.

It's not for the feint of heart, but not as dangerous as people make it out to be, especially if you speak Spanish and don't act flashy. I've gone down to that area at 12 a.m., and when the clubs closd down there, caught taxis off the street to head up to Fortaleza (after-hours spot), without incident.

If you need a taxi from there, the security guys from the clubs will find you a secured taxi, as opposed to you grabbing a random cab off the street. Again, I've never had an issue with taxis in either case, including putting my non-Spanish speaking friend in one to Zona Rosa alone by himself.

Not to challenge anyone, but what's so much more dangerous about Bogota now? And what specific recent negative taxi experiences can anyone relate to the board?

As opposed to the scare tactics, it would serve the board much more purpose if people knew specifically what issues were occurring to make Bogota so dangerous and taxi drivers the issue.

I have been travelling to Bogota for more than 20 years.

Last week I was subjected to a kidnapping, assult and robbery arranged by a taxista. I lost all my possessions and credit and debit cards. Because I was on my way to the airport I did not have my gun with me; otherwise the conclusion may have been different.

I had to return to my hotel that night and in the morning the recepcionista was surprised to see that I was still in the hotel, having checked out the previous day. I told her my story and she got all emotional, touching me and telling me how lucky I had been. This was because the previous week another guest at the hotel had suffered a similar experiance but he had been killed.

The security manager at the hotel advised me not to pursue the incident to much as anyone accused would have full knowledge of me in the diposition.

I had to report the incident to the police for insurance and replacement papers purposes. The process took more than six hours at a police station many miles away. The police women taking my report said the problem was growing exponentially every day and there was little they could do about it.

As for the general security situation in Colombia, it did get better but Uribe has taken his eye off the ball in pursuing his campaign for reelection. In the last six months, crime in general has got worse, the farc are again beginning to get the upper hand, and the AUC have been planning murders even as they are sitting at the peace talks.

Two week ago I was in La Piscina, I went with a Colombian friend, we went in his car and we left before dark. It is definetly not a place for a first time visitor to Bogota to venture alone.

That is my take on the security situation and my recent experiance. I am not trying to ruin anyone´s party. But does not the potential threat outweigh a couple of hours of possible pleasure.

Glad to see you lived to tell us this story. I've heard similar mentions of such occurrences in the past, but never a first-hand account. Sorry to hear about your experience, but glad you knew enough to just give up the possessions and start over.

I do have some questions that may help us future travellers to Bogota.

- What hotel were you staying at in Bogota?
- Where did you get the taxi, off the street or did you call for one? Who arranged it?
- Is that hotel alerting clients of the growing dangers, considering they recently had a similar situation which resulting in a murder?
- Or did you notice any tightening of security there?

Thanks for sharing!!!

I lost material things but it could have been much worse.

The hotel I stay in is the Casa Dann Carlton on 94 with 19. Security there is tight.

I got the taxi by asking where I was to call me a taxi. I have 100% confidence in these people. The problem is people monitor the airwaves to steal clients. I went from there to hotel to pick up my bags.

The hotel has the taxista and the car on video but the implication is that the aftermath could be more dangerous than the incident. Having said this there is an implicit retribution process.

Obviously the hotel feels that their security is good and it is good. However, I guess that they cannot be responsible for the safety of all their guests. They have always looked after me in an exempletory fashion and I would have no hesitation in giving a recomendation. Sometimes their concern could be considered over the top but at the end of the day they are only concerned for the guest.

My only motive is to warn.

Thanks for the warning.

One time in MDE centro around midnight my hotel called a cab for me. They gave me a piece of paper with the taxi number on it. Wouldn't something like that preclude a ladrone intercepting the call?

When I stay at Suite Real 85, when the hotel calls a cab for me, the security guard on duty checks the taxi driver to be sure, before I get in. They've been doing that since my 1st visit, and I've watched the same routine for other people as well.

Also, the hotel normally calls their trusted taxi drivers' cellulars, not taxi services, which I guess would reduce the "exposure" of the call to a service where cars are radioed. In fact, I specifically have been asking for the same driver since my 1st visit. He's well-known there and a very respectful, honest person. However, he works from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. only. No nights.

Thanks for the warning, LT. Much appreciated. I would hope that the Dann Carlton would change up their procedure since TWO of their guests have been set-up.

I know most Colombianos pack heat but wonder about the legality of extranjeros packing heat.

Also, THE biggest problem facing Colombia is neither FARC nor drugs nor the paras. The biggest problem is the fucked up justice system that requires that victims and witness address be givenm to the accused (making it easy for them to hire sicarios to whack witnesses before trial). This is INSANE and will be the first thing that I change when I am appointed minister of justice.

I have a permit for my gun.

They would not have had an opportunity to frisk me. I had enough time to kill the driver and at least one of the perps. This would have been sufficient disincentive to the other.

My trip to Bogota has been delayed one week, but I'll be arriving next Friday and staying at the Real Suites. Any fellow hobbyist want to meet and go out, just drop me a note. By the way, I'm fluent in Spanish so I can help anyone who might need it and I certainly won't slow anyone down that doesn't.

Hope your all having a good shag tonight.

I've stayed at Suites Real 85. Their taxi security is impeccable. The security guard goes out first and ids the cabbie.

LT, it seems as if you called the taxi from another location, then went to Casa Dann for your stuff, and kept the same taxi.

Funny thing, I've walked areas of north Bogota at night, and no one has fucked with me. Dumb luck, I guess.

Also, have you previously had occasion to use yiur piece while in BOG?

I flag down taxistas on the street all the time and have been lucky as IU have neverhad any incident. I used to thibnk the hotel writing the plate number was overkill, but I guess you cannot be too safe. I DO find BOG to feel more unsafe than any other city in Colombia, despite Cali having the reputation as the most dangerous. Suerte compadre

If you have a cedula it is not difficult to get a gun permit.

The system is administered ny the Armed Forces as opposed to the police. You go to DAS and get a good conduct report. You get a letter from a psychologist and another saying you have experiance in handling arms as well as a couple of references. You buy a form for say $20 and wait a couple of days and then they tell you to come to the arms shop to choose your piece.

Mine cost $1,700,000, twice as much as could be bought on the street.

You are allowed to transport you gun nationally but you have to be careful of local regulations. For example you need special permission to carry at the weekend in Bogota and In Cartagena from 21 December to 12 January, but special permission is not difficult to get.

As for using it, I have not actually killed anyone yet but I have shot a couple of people up and also have shot up a few cars and taxis. Normally, if I begin to feel uneasy and I am carrying I advise the driver and give hime a quick glimpse. This tends to focus his mind on his life and away from my life!

However, I would have no hesitation in using it if I thought it would ease a situation.

In relation to my incident, five guys have been picked up and next time I am in Bogota I will see if I identify them.

Take care

Day 0 – Arrived in Bogota late at night. I asked the hotel to send a driver in order to avoid the problems that can occur ,as reported by LatinTraveller earlier in the Bogota thread. The hotel sent a nice older gentleman called Jose Alvana (Tel: +57 310 480 3559). On the ride to the hotel Jose provided me with several useful titbits of information: 1) The hotel is very close to the Zona Rosa, a chic part of town. 2) There are unmarked houses around town, which are essentially brothels. The going rates are COP 40,000-60,000 per hour with young quality girls on offer. Ironically, it was a gringo who introduced him to some of these places. 3) He would be more than happy to take me to some of these locations and his taxi rates are a reasonable COP 12,000 per hour (Though this did not stop the hotel charging me COP 25,000 for the 30 minute ride from the airport). 4) There are shopping centers in the Zona Rosa but they are very expensive. He suggested much better deals are to be had at the Centro Commercial Unicentro and Centro Comercial Andrecito Sur.

I made it to the hotel, checked in, unpacked and collapsed.

Day 1 - I chose the Real Suites 85 (www.suitesreal.com/85/, Carrera 18 No. 84-56, Tel: +57 1 218 0100) as my base of operations. Being a frequent business traveller, I am used to American hotel chains such as Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton and the like. When compared to that calibre of hotel the Real Suites is not in the same league. However, I am paying for the hotel myself on this trip and at COP 104,500 per night (breakfast included) the Real Suites is a great deal especially given its location, namely a 5-minute walk to the chic Zona Rosa district of Bogota. The rooms are clean (albeit a little small), the hotel is safe, there is an OPEN 24 Hours supermarket close by and, most importantly, I have not been hassled or asked for extra payments to bring guests up to my suite.

The trip started off on the wrong foot as a very cute Colombian nena I had been courting and cultivating online for several weeks decided, for reasons known only to herself, not to go through with meeting me. Fortunately, there is a plan B (and plan C for that matter) so the trip will not be a total waste.

A little research on the WSG Colombia forum surfaced www.clasifica.com. Under the Personales section, I selected [Santa Fe de Bogota] and [Mujeres buscando Hombres]. There were 3 or 4 girls who looked interesting. Monica looked really hot but she quoted COP 150,000 per hour when I called her, which seemed a little steep. That said, I popped into the Zona Roas Abejita’s massage parlor later in the day and the going rate was also COP 150,000 per hour, though it must be said that there are some knockouts in the establishment.

Two student girls advertising on clasifica, Nicolle and Daniela, were quoting COP 60,000 per hour. I selected Daniela, primarily because Nicolle did not answer the phone when I called her. One hour later, Daniela was in my hotel room posing for these pictures. She spent two hours with me and was well worth the COP 140,000 (20K for the taxi) I paid. She had rules, no BBBJ for example, but within those rules she provided good service. The right attitude is an important thing in a service provider and I could certainly not fault Daniela in that department. She asked me not to photograph her face, which was ok with me as that feature was a little disappointing when compared to the rest of her. As you can see, I dressed her up in stockings and tights, which I find to be a turn-on, for the session. I used a sex toy on her (see photos) and I think it was her first time because she really got into it. She came twice, which was a pleasure to watch and that alone was worth the price of admission.

As already mentioned, in the afternoon I located the Abejita massage parlor (www.abejita.com, Carrera 14 No. 83-23, Tel: +57 1 616 2255 & +57 1 616 4863). A little hard to find but well worth it as there are some model calibre women to be found. Open from 10am-9pm (I think) and a basic massage is COP 30,000. I was quoted COP 150,000 for “servicio completo”, which I assume will be about an hour’s worth of fun. I passed on Abejita today but tomorrow is another day.

In the early evening I learned an important lesson. Do not try and get anywhere by taxi during rush hour (around 6:30pm onwards). Rush hour traffic in Bogota is a nightmare and a 10-minute ride ended up taking 45 minutes. My destination was the Abado massage parlor (Carrera 15 No. 116-59 Apartment 203, Tel: +57 1 637 6627). A real rundown place at the opposite end of the spectrum from Abejita’s, if you will. Still, at COP 30,000 for a massage with a happy ending, who is complaining? Full service was quoted at COP 50,000. I was a given a choice of two masseurs and picked a 22 year-old blonde names Stefanie.

On the way back to the hotel I stopped at Juan Pablo karaoke (Carrera 18, No. 93A-83, Tel. +97 1 256 8925). There have been good reports on this place but I must have picked a bad night or maybe I just got there too early. When I walked in there were 7-8 girls sitting at the bar and no customers except me. In those situations my first instinct is to turn around and walk out of the place but I sat down and ordered a drink. Consistent with many other karaoke bars I have visited, the alcoholic drinks are way over-priced and so I ordered a ginger ale, which put me back COP 5,000. There were two girls in the place that I thought were really attractive and as luck would have it one of them sat down next to me and I tried to have a conversation with her in my very limited Spanish. Here is the bottom line: it costs USD 30 or COP 70,000 to bar-fine these girls. This allows you to walk out of the place with the beauty of your choice. What happens after that, and at what price, is negotiated between you and the girl. Since I had just left the massage parlour I had no intention of taking her out and did not get into a price discussion. Something tells me that her opening price would have been COP 150,000 per hour but that is just a hunch and not a quoted price.

Day 2 – It is day 2 of my Bogota adventure. I woke up early and went for a run. On the way back I stopped by the supermarket and purchased breakfast: two croissants, a slice of pineapple and a bottle of freshly squeezed OJ. The total damage was COP 4,500 or about USD 2. Now that is what I call value for money! I am waiting for a call from another online contact and hope this does not end up like yesterday.

11:00am - Not having much luck with the online girls. This one shows up but is unwilling to have her photos taken. It is something I should have clarified online before bringing her to the hotel. Total damage is COP 18,000 for taxis and the time I wasted chasing her, which was not much thank God.

I have an appointment with yet another online girl in the evening. Sandy shows up at my door at around 8:30pm and my luck finally turns. Sandy is better in the flesh than in the photos she sent me and has a great attitude besides. She is not so much a pro as a regular girl willing to try something a little different. As you can see from the attached photos, Sandy has great a great body and legs. I am respecting her request not to show her face but it matches the rest of her in terms of beauty and sexuality. I hope you guys forgive me for not doing any additional research because I ended up spending the last two days in Colombia with Sandy on the theory that it was not going to get any better than this.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to finalize my list of places to go in Bogotá. Unfortunately, I won’t have much time there (2-nights total) and under the circumstances, I would rather start out by going to some of the higher-end clubs/bars in Bogotá since my time is so limited. Here are some places that I’ve read about that sound interesting, but please let me know if I have left off a “must visit place” or if you have other recommendations. I have also made a similar post in the Cartagena section, if you want to take a look at my checklist for that city too:

massage parlors:
Cleopatra Club
Barby's

Bars/Clubs:
Casanova
Juan Pablo/Zhivago Bar
Lancaster

Thanks in advance,

Surfer, I remember your good reviews on here, so I was kind of puzzled when I actually checked out La 49. I arrived at around midnight, stayed plenty of time. There were only 2 strip shows over the course of a few hours, neither was really hot or a great looking girl.

My friends also had a similar lacklustre experience. We both went on different Friday nights -- maybe that wasn't a good night to go?

I admit I had been spoiled for quality, like at La Isla in Medellin, and picking up Colombian freelancers in general.

I have to say that when you arrive by taxi you'll have no choice but to go inside, as there's a melee of about 10 touts getting you to enter. There's a copycat "Whiskeria" two doors down, and each place's touts are jostling for position to try and shepherd you into their place. La 49 is the one on your right hand side as you face the doorways to enter.

Like Sao Paolo or other big cities that many flee on weekends, La 49 MIGHT be better midwek (I went three times and believe each was midweek, but am not certain). Cachorro I, too, MUCH prefer Medellin (and Cali) to BOG, but I was merely trying to help the guy out with another option not already on his list. The escorts from El Tiempo seemed a better option, and I had fun down in Centro clubs (but I went in the afternoon and with a trusted taxista). NOT an area for a solo gringo to cruise at night.

Not a true trip report, but a quick observation.

Went downtown for the first time the other night. Went by the area by the parque nacional, but didn't park until arriving in the Zona Rosa.

What a great area. I know I was within yards of establishments that I need to see and report on one day, but, for this Thursday night, I really enjoyed the local atmosphere. Beautiful people filled every establishment, particularly a small dance-oriented joint my guide directed me to. Great "Happy Hours," too. I don't know what the drink was, but it was free.

Also, a nice Irish pub. Not the one with a shamrock out front, but a two-story, indoor-outdoor pub that specializes in a 110 ounce cylinder they deliver to your table. It has a tap near the bottom and looks SO good. The beer was delicious.

So, the crime is way down, the girls are beautiful, the prices are somewhat higher than historic averages, but there is a lot of fun to be had.

Hope to see some of you guys down there. I usually go to Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago and San Jose for work/pleasure, but will have some quick visits to Bogota, as well.

In the past, I've stayed at the Chile Inn, which is on 82nd St right near La Boheme, I believe. It costs about 105,000 pesos per night. It's a nice simple hotel, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. It's close to Chapinero, which I like, and a bit away from the more touristy areas, which I also like. But on this trip I'm going with a friend and he wants to stay in a fancier hotel. He wants to stay in either the Don Carlton or the Dan something else, both five-star hotels. One costs 140,000 pesos plus tax without breakfast and the other is 190,000 pesos plus tax with breakfast. Basically, they both cost almost $100 a night with two breakfasts. This seems to me incredibly exorbitant for a weekend in a Third World country.

I keep asking people if there is a hotels.com kind of web site for Colombia. I search in English and in Spanish but all of the web sites that I find are very expensive. Does anyone know of a good web site that had really good deals? Does anyone know of a Colombian travel agent with an e-mail address who offers really good package deals?

I used to stay in the Dann Carlton when I wanted something really nice, and the Dann Norte when I wanted something a bit cheaper, but the last few times I've had no end of problems with the Norte: when the dollar is rising they want to fix the price in dollars and when its falling in pesos. So you can agree a price with them in advance only to discover that that was the price in (they pick a currency) on (pick a date) and now needs to be "corrected".

Personally, I've had my fill of run-ins with the f*ckers, and I'm looking elsewhere. Maybe one of the apartasuites?

That's kind of a low blow. No way would I clasify Colombia as a 3rd world country. Poor, yes. But not 3rd world.
What other 3rd world countries pull in the kind of U.S. money (albeit government funded) that Colombia does. Or produce fantastic musicans, film artists, world power futbol teams, and an incrediable legacy. It carries alot of class, elegance and style in various parts of the country. I think it rocks!!

Try hanging out in El Salvador, Honduras & Nicaragua for a good amount of time...90% of those countries are considered 3rd world...believe me, I know.

Anyway, I agree. For a 5 star hotel, and by that I mean a "known" chain type either european or american known, you'll pay $100 & up. You get what you pay for as P. Solano said. Be it in Colombia, Lima, San Salvador, Managua, wherever.

But there's plenty of nice apartment rentals, and other local 5 star locations for less.

They don't even use the term, "Third World," anymore. Countries are now "developing." Every South American country falls under this description, even Brazil. It's not a bad thing. In fact, there are many economic advantages to having that classification. Really, I don't see any issue with the original term, but it became a stigma of sorts. I'm pretty sure that European countries were first world, U.S. and Canada were 2nd, and the remainder of the Americas and Africa were 3rd.

Clearly, there are different plateaus of "developing." Columbia, Chile, Brazil and, despite frequent meltdowns, Argentina are far different from Uruguay and Paraguay. Where do you suppose Venezuela falls?

There's a lot of confusion about the term "Third World", and for good reason: it's out of date. It's roots are in the Cold War. The terms were coined in the 1950's by someone prominent in foreign affairs, maybe Dag Hammarksjold or Dean Acheson, I can't remember exactly. The "First World" refered to the Western Democracies and the "Second World" to Communist countries. The "Third World" encompassed the mass of non-aligned nations. Because the majority of non-aligned countries were "under-developed", "Third World" became synonymous with that term.

The World Bank uses more precise terminology: "Developed", "Developing", and "Less Developed. " The confusion is the result of different people using "Third World" to signify either "Developing", "Less Developed", or both. It's impossible to say who is right.

P.S. I'm sure that the World Bank classifies Venezuela as "Developing", but having lived here for a number of years "Regressing" would be more appropriate.

Most Americans do not even know what this term means. It is strictly a term used for classifing a countries economy. It is exactly this misguided stigma and our own PC(political correctness) that gave way to the new terms "Developing Countries" or emerging markets. It also refers to a country as a whole, regardless if that country possesses world class cities,Cultural Monuments or whatever. I do however admit that the banking systems here are antiquated, Corruption is world class and starting a legitimate business her is a bureaucratic nightmare.

But then most Americans do not realize there country and economy are crumbling much like England 100 years ago, Russia 20 years, ago and Japan 10 years ago. The future belongs to the Chinese and her trading partners. It is precisely for this reason that countries like Peru are refusing to sign America's trade agreements.

From word origins dot org:

This political term is originally French. Tiers Monde was coined in 1955 by French demographer Alfred Sauvy and first used in print the following year by G. Balandier. The English is a literal translation, or calque, of the French.

Sauvy used the archaic tiers instead of the modern troisième as a parallel construction to the Tiers État, or Third Estate. The term quickly entered English soon after its coining.

The First World is the industrialized West, the Second World are the Communist nations of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, and the Third World are all the rest.

They reported that through acquiring a secret diary it was determined that a very close selection was the Cardinal from Argentina. After a lot of rambling they indicated that the next pope would probably come from "one of the third world countries in SA". Apparently they classify all of SA as third world. But don't forget the Amerian newspapers were chastised for using the word refugees to describe US citizens escaping from Hurrican Katrina.

This may be the first post ever on the ISG to reference a papal election!

Gentleman,

I have been to Bogota a few times since my wife is a Cachaca. In all of my previous visits we stay with her family close to the airport, and when I can dip out I usually look in the back of El Tiempo for a casa and jump in a taxi run off to the casa preferably in the afternoon since in the morning the only girls that seem to be in the casas are the ones that live there and maybe a 6 at best, plus they always try to Gringo price me for a short time. I have heard that local prices in a nondescript casa is like 30k cop.

Ok to my point... I will be going there this spring and will have 2 days all to myself in the city, on a secret agent mission. I need to know a few things.

1. I want to stay in a nice hotel close to Chapinero but not in Chapinero.

2. The house must be girl friendly I will pay double occ.

3. Are doormen good for sending fine chicas to your room, or should I call an escort service from the back of El-tiempo?

4. I have heard that lots of the web sited for acompanantes I have found have phony pics and lazy women. I want ardientes!! doty, gfe, bbbj cfs. Me gusta me chicas joven y limpia. Possible?

I have been married to a Bogotana for 14 years and she is sweet, OI met her in the states as a student. But you know I have that monger wander feeling.

All help is appreciated. I do not care how much the hotel is I have $$ I just dont want a walk of shame, I trt to be discreet.

I will be making posts here I just joined and look for some good pics when I make my trip ,some of these pics look like they were taken with cell phones.

I do not care how much the hotel is I have $$ I can not help you much in Bogota as I am based in Barranquilla. BUT I can tell you through experience that a very nice expensive Hotel will not let you run your show, they wil simply not let the girls in as they give the Hotel a bad name.
That is the case here in the 5 Star hotels that we have , and anybody that says the opposite is just a big liar.
What you need is a clean safe place that will be girl friendly even if you have to pay an additional charge. I am sure the true Bogota Mongers will be able to help you. Peter.

Hey Tripbaby -

What is the meaning of Cachaca as you have used it in your report? I know that cachaca is a Brazilian liquor made from sugar cane, but you have used it as your wife is "cachaca". Is that slang for a Brazilian woman? or ??

It is curious what the various latin countries call their young women. Examples:
Honduras= Catrachas
Gutemala = Chapinas
Costa Rica = Ticas

I dated a Colombian woman for a brief time and she said that the Colombianas are sometimes called sardinas.

So, what is a Cachaca?
Thanks.

Thanks,

What is the meaning of Cachaca?
Cachaca is a name given by the people of the COAST , ex. Where I am, to refer to people from the INTERIOR part of the Country.

They can be from Cali, Medellin, Bucaramanga ,Bogota etc.
But it is mostly used to refer to people from Bogota. Peter.

Had not heard cachaca.

Sardinas (female of sardines, the tiny fish) refers to teenagers of any nationality, not Colombianas per se.

Also, but that is what you would hear in Medellin or Cali not in Bquilla. Or Cartagena,or Santa Marta or other parts of the Coast.

The term SARDINA refers to a female teenager as a male teenager would be SARDINO.

But did you ever hear about UNA SARDINA CACHACA QUE ESTA BUENISIMA? :) Peter.

Cachaco has several meanings based on it's context, to wit;

Noun - Cachaco - a species of fish , which is particularly ugly; "tu te ves como un cachaco". adjective - slang - to be particullarly well dressed; "tu te ves cachaco/cachaca". Noun - slang - a well dressed man/woman. Noun - slang - a man woman from the coast.

You know what I find amusing? it is as if every state in Colombia is autonamous of the other. My wife is Rola however she seems to only make friends here in the States with other Bogotanas, Women from Medellin think Rolas are stuck up, Rolas think Paisas are Guajiras, All the women think Calenas are cheap just because they like to show off their bodies. I just get a laugh out of the stereaotypes they they label each other with. I have found Colombians to be extremely amable, but class conciense they are. Anyway just felt like spouting.

And just having money is not enough to be acepted: nouveau riche (read: drug industry) are shunned by high society as scum of the Earth.

The envy of Calenas is understandable (they got it and flaunt it, and even if the Rolas had as much it is too cold to flaunt it the way they do in Valle). This is part of the reason I still feel Cali presents more eye candy than elsewhere.

Thanks in advance for your feedbackHmmm. I have been trying to get with the owner of the agency where I met her. I want to run by him, the stages and how things went. I hope to learn what is typical, and what should have been a red flag.

I am pretty shook up, becuase I usually understand most things that I come across, but I have no idea why this went so bad, so quickly. I do know that I SHOULD have shut it down after the first stupid argument.

Maybe some other mongers can answer this question: Is it normal for a Colombian woman to invite herself to sleepover at your place?

Our second Day together, sitting in her sister's living room, and having met her family, she looked at me and said "I am sleeping in your room tonight".

No sex occurred. It was one day later that we did the nasty. She told me that it was some kind of test to see if I would push her for sex. She said, had I pushed her for sex, she would have, but she wouldn't have seen me again. I also learned that she was a liar. So the previous statement probably was not true.

One thing I have found in common with my failed relationships? None of them had parents who were married. More strangely, in all of my serious relationships, the woman was raised be her grandmother. Important? I don't know. But I do know that she had no one around to teach her to cook, or how to conduct herself around a man, or how to be a wife.

I can tell you this. I met her, extended an extra week to be with her more. I went back to the States, and after a week of misery, I returned for another three months of living together.

Problem? I kept making excuses for her. She is stressed because she know the visa wait will be long. She is stressed because she knows that we will part on 30 December, and won't see each other until she gets to the US.

Then, in the US, the excuses for the fighting included - She is stressed because we need to get married for her to continue her papers, etc.

I was very open and non-judgmental to a different culture. I know that Spanish can come across as rude, or overly direct in English. So I downplayed the way she acted.
She actually told me that if she had only wanted the visa, she'd have been nice, but her hatefulness was proof that she was be honest and sincere. How is that for reverse logic?

My advice? Don't write off bad behaviour as "Maybe it is normal here". And don't put up with much. The population of Colombia is 44 million. According to the CIA world factbook, 14 million are aged 15-64. Don't weird out, that is how the data is released and no further breakout is provided.

Whatever - long story short (too late) Don't put up with much, there are too many beauties there to take any crap off of one of them. If the woman can't be normal or nice in her own country, she'll never be able to deal with all of the changes the US would represent, should you bring her here.

Also, INS does NOT have a good method to remove her. If she gets to the US, she gets all sorts of rights, and INS list no method on how to remove a mistake. I asked mine to leave several times, and she said "Buy a ticket". But knowing about how she lies, and that I couldn't FORCE her into the plane, I was forced to try to make the best of it.

Other advice that I have come across since this debacle started- Do NOT let your Colombian get in with the latino sub-culture in the south part of the US, ie Texas, California, etc. She will rub elbows with the types that no how to skirt laws, act like American women, etc.

Her friends had/have her convinced that "Any man can complete" her papers. This fueled her attitude. Most recently, she decided that she would go to INS an ask for a different type of visa. While this is officially possible, it is a bad idea. It also could land her in a position to found guilty of Marriage Fraud. The penalty, if found guilty, is deportation to home country AND ineligibilty for another visa to the US, of any type, for the rest her life.

Having spoken with INS officials, they believe this is a good description of my case.
But, my wife (for the moment) has moved into the house of some friends she made, venezuelans, and changed her cellphone number, effectively disappearing.

I guess one other thing I would do differently - I would require her to learn English BEFORE she got to the US. Much culture is in a language, and she would do better, and not be restricted to the latin sub-culture in the States.

Plus, non-willingness to learn English also says that she isn't interested in communicating with YOU.

My solution? I found work down there in Colombia, and the first time a woman starts talking about going to the US, I will show her to the door, re-list my girlfriend ad, and get another. But I'm not bitter ;-)

Sorry this is so long. I hope there is some value or warning signs in it for the rest of the mongers here.

Piece Out,

PW

I HATE to have to be the one to tell you this, but do you think the American Owner would care? He already pocketed your money. Do you think for one minute he will feel sorry for you and refund your money?

Come on man, you seem like a nice enough guy who just got taken. If there is one thing I don`t believe in is SINGLE`S TOURS.

And NO I doubt it is customary in ANY place for a woman to invite herself to sleep over. Think on how many times she must have done it. Better luck next time, and remember " When things get tough, the tough get going" Cheers, Elversle.Hey, I wasn't saying he would care. I just wanted to no what I did wrong, or how I should have proceeded. But, I have also been thinking, that with all the crazy stuff she did, she really isn't mentally healthy. Starting fights apparently to see who could win, or now, taking off to live somewhere, with no legal status (her 485 hasn't been approved, and probably won't) when all she had to do was shut up and get along.
All in all, I probably got out pretty cheap. Stay tuned for the witty quote -

I am glad it ends well for you. PW. I am sure an ad in the paper will help you more as any mariage agency in the world. Make your own selections and be very critical.

To me marital agencies are a big NO NO !! show some initiative, be a man and chase your own pussies. dont let them gather around a "marriage manager" who is only tricking the desperate man and woman.

I believe this was your fundamental mistake. What is the "quality" available concerned woman running into such an agency ? Not much I think.

You got yourself a "possesive" ****. From day 1 she wanted to assure herself you would not have time neither eye for another pussy. That is (to me at least) the obvious reason why she invited herself into your bedroom (with our without sex, doesn't matter). From that moment indeed you should have had your red flag out !! she was already making up her mind without even thinking if this was OK for you.

To Elversele :

You are European (I know :-) ) Schengen country have a very man-friendly system to bring over a pussy. (it is although different for each Schengen country, yes indeed strange enough). I know how it works for my country. Let her come on a temporary visa for 3 months. When she fits into your house, your system, your culture, after she landed back in Colombia, she can go get another visa for long stay. And you can get her back in your place. ok 2 tickets to pay, no big deal.

1. it is way more cheap this way. (you went to colombia for 3 months) OMG !!!
2. For your pussy it is also beneficial. She can try to adapt, if it does not work out, she can return to Colombia, sorry for you, sorry for the pussy. At least she had a chance to find out. Meanwhile she has to take the initiative. When she works in Colombia, she will have to decide to quit the job, the family, everything she is used to. ;-) you feel the "tension" and seriousness of the decission she has to make ?
3. When after a couple of weeks, she "flips" over, put her on the airplane back to Bogotà. Case closed.

PW,
Open a new case, like you will be doing now. I wish you the best of luck and a better experience. I'm sure there is plenty of choice in S.A. for every bacherlor gringo.

.Ok, first, changed my handle.

2nd, in my defense, I got out of the Middle East and was cooling my heels in the States. A friend came by, who was on the way to Colombia. I figured, hey, why not get another visa stamp and drink some beer, and good off. Plus, I had limited days in the US, if I wanted to preserve my tax free status. I had a bundle in the bank, (from working the desert) and said WTF?

The owner of the agency tried to browbeat me into introductions, but no go. His secretary took over with a little more success.

You are correct, I was not allowed any solo time, for the remainder of my stay, she was clearly defending her ticket out. When I returned for the long stay, she immediately moved in with me, not my idea. Whatever.

I had her packed up to leave one day, but damn the luck, didn't get her into the cab.
As far as taking someone to the US and it doesn't work out, a private citizen can't force anyone to get on a plane. In Texas, if someone's stuff is in your house, that is their residence, and you need to file an eviction to get them out.

It is not as easy as "Just send her home". You have to be dealing with an adult, and someone who has respect for the laws of the US. My whole problem was her lack of respect for anyone but herself. Aha, herein lies the problem.

Don't worry, I will be critical as hell, picho and send them home.

More reports as I find them. Next stop will be some titty bars in Bogota, open to suggestions. Non touristy are better, because I'm officially not allowed by my job, to go to these type places. I will be doing some mongering in Medellin for this reason...

Peace Out,

Huh? Bogotá was originally called Santa Fe de Bogotá, Colonial Spanish style. As a reaction to that the "Santa Fe de" part got dropped, but I think it may have recently had a revival.

Be that as it may you may rest assured that Santa Fe de Bogotá is the same city we know and love as Bogotá.

(Hmmm... Or is it Bogotá D.F. now? If in doubt, change the name? That'll confuse the guerrillas! :) )

The Santa Fe zone in Bogota contains a kind of seedy red light district.

An easy jumping off point is the Transmilenio station, cra 14 and cll 22. At this Transmilenio stop, as you get off you should see La Piscina and El Castillo one on either side of you. They are quite big establishments and at night are lit up in neon.

There are lots of places in the neighbourhood. Strip clubs, short time motels, streetwalkers, small apartment setups with girls standing out the front. Certain parts of the area are TV but mostly it's regular girls.

Wubayou
10-18-05, 03:21
The Santa Fe area is located in downtown Bogota. You can just tell your cab driver to take you to "Barrio Santa Fe" or to La Piscina. La Piscina is the best of the area, plenty of hot girls for 60,000 COP full service. El Castillo is next door and is huge, but rarely has many girls. A couple streets back you'll find Las Paisas, which has some good lookers but not an abundance. Girls can be had for about 30,000 COP for full service. La Casona is next door, and prices run the same. One I liked, but it was kind of a dive, was Venus Show Bar, on the same street. On the weekends, they pick a guy out of the audience, and a girl will give him oral sex on stage and possibly full sex, as a sort of a show. Its raunchy but interesting to say the least. You can take a girl upstairs for 30,000 COP, full service. Not high quality girls, but there are some cute ones. Keep in mind, in Santa Fe, the girls tend to walk from place to place looking for business, so you'll see familiar faces. There are also many streetwalkers hanging out of open doors in the area. Now, this is regarded as one of the most dangerous areas of Bogota. You should know spanish if you want to walk around there. I made friends with many of the security guards and bartenders because I tipped them a bit. I'm 25, well built, half Colombian, but I look like a gringo/Marine. I did stand out, and I also did not dress down. In the last two months in my two trips to Bogota, I was in Santa Fe at least 20 nights without a problem. Take that as luck though, not the norm. Just keep your head up if you decide to go there. If you are the type to get nervous when alone in foreign areas, avoid this section, as you will be surrounded by many groups of guys with their buddies that are heavily intoxicated and could cause trouble.

Hello fellow mongers

I am a resident in Bogotá, and i recently found this great forum you have here. I am specially interested in getting the phone numbres of Jacky and Jimena, if anyone still have them, as you have posted previously.

Some freinds and I have been doing similar efforts to establish a database of the escort service in Bogota, and we have gather a nice group of experiences and data that may be helpful to all of you. One of the websites was mentioned here befeore , http://cataresco.********.com, which was the first. I would be happy to help you with the translation of any article, or giving you tips or recommendation of girls i have had the pleasure of being with.

There is a second website, which is relatively new, but has good info too: http://www.foroswebgratis.com/foro-foro_escorts-27544.htm. We are sitill expanding it. Also, if you need translation of it, just let me know.

The motel situation in Bogota has improved greatly, there are many in and around the city, with very nice acomodations and services. I have also information on them too, if needed. They are much less expensive than hotels, there are many in very safe zones of the city, and some are even better than some hotels too.

Hope I can help. Good luck

Zona Rosa (for a higher concentration of English-speakers, restaurants, bars, discos. etc.). Call to make reservations. 0-11-57-1-218-0100

I'd advise you to have them reserve Jose (taxi driver) for your trips. He's very reliable, knowledgeable, and honest, but speaks no English. Also, he works from 7 am to 6 pm., never later.

I missed the last Avianca flight out of BOG to MDE this past Friday, so I took a cab to the Suites Real 85. Didn't even bother with a reservation. I was remembered by the night desk clerk (stayed there two weeks prior for a night) and was checked in quickly. It's cheap, clean and in a great location.

And chica friendly - no fee, no registration. Also, the minibar is dirt cheap - like 1,400P for an old-fashioned bottle of Coke.

Bill for one night, including minibat and all taxes was 109,000P.

Also, a couple of free internet stations in their "business center" - available 24 hours a day.

The next morning I used Jose to take me to the airport. 10 minutes into the drive his cell phone rings - it's the hotel calling to say I had forgoten a package in my room. We turned around, I go the package and still made my flight. Great personal service - will be using them again next week.

Hello fellow mongers

The motel situation in Bogota has improved greatly, there are many in and around the city, with very nice acomodations and services. I have also information on them too, if needed. They are much less expensive than hotels, there are many in very safe zones of the city, and some are even better than some hotels too.

Hope I can help. Good luck

Ric,

Interested in your experiences of the motels.

Hello guys,

I am heading down to Bogota the week of the 28th.

Probably wont have the ability to get around much so am interested in a good escort service that will send a girl to my room. Does anyone have any experience with these services?

I guess I just really want to know if I can expect the girl in the photo. And are the prices quoted accurate and do they include full service or is there upsell going on?

Have been back to Bogota after three years. This time alone (not with mi ex Bogota grown up wife). First I found it pretty boring (like rich kids in Zona Rosa etc.). But then I found this street full of bars accros the road from the movie theatres on Avenida Primero de Mayo. Great place. Xtremely easy to pick up non-pros. A true haven for the spanish-speaking monger looking out for non-pros.

There are a whole bunch of motels within spitting distance of the airport, any taxi driver will take you there but you might want to make it worth his while: these guys wait for *hours* for a fare to go downtown not just up the road and the government hasn't increased the tarif to keep pace with the price of gas. I'm currently tipping any taxi driver who's honest about the fare and, for preference, doesn't try and kill me with his driving, at least 1000 (50c) -- or 2000 ($1) on longer trips. They really do appreciate it, and the expression of shock alone is worth it!

Also the motels are, of course, usually used by couples and on certain days/times there may be a queue for rooms. If you want company, likely as you're posting here(!), pick up a copy of El Tiempo at the airport and check out the agencies.

If you want a real hotel just for yourself rather than a motel the closest is probably halfway between the airport and the center on Avenida El Dorado, so its easy to get to/from. I forget the name, but its a major brand (Forte?) in a modern complex on the south side. You can't miss it.

Hey Mr Sam

As you may or may have not seen in their galleries, most of the photos, do not correspond to the girls they send you, so it´s pretty much how much luck you have. The rates are pretty much average within the Bogota Scort services. The best agency of the ones you mentioned it´s sexymodels, to say is the least dishonest, but their prices are a little high.

My recomendation, as i have tried many agencies, is www.complice.tk. All their pictures are real (trst me!), and the service is pretty good. All the girls are 130.000 pesos (60 dollars more or less).

Hope it helps.

The most famous are in the Alamos sector, near the airport, such as coconito (www.coconito.com), el dorado, campoamor. These are in constant renovations and offering new and interesting servicies. Coconito would be my advice for you, it´s very inexpensive, they charge by hours (commonly motels charge by "ratos" or 8-hour packages). The rooms are comfortable and any taxi would take you there.
Another options are the motels located in the outskirts. Two very good ones are Altos de la Calera (www.hostalaltosdelacalera.com) and Babilonia Suites. The rooms are unbelivable and have extras like the "love chair" (similar to a gynecologist cahir) or sex swings. Those would be good options oo if you are in town for more than a few hours. A little more expensive (80.000 pesos - 36 US dollars- single room, more or less) and have options of rooms with saunas or jacuzzi.
Finally, the economic option would be in the Chapinero sector, where are a lot of motels, all within a walking distance. Very clean rooms in well presented buildings, here you can find the lowest rates for good quality acommodations (30.000 pesos -13 dollars- for the single rooms, and 60.000 pesos - 26 dollars- for rooms with saunas or jacuzzi). To this ones , it´s better to arrive in taxi, nonetheless the security is good, the motel owners are organized and keep the sector clean. My recommendations in this case would be The Royal Garden (that´s its original name, it´s not translated) and El Portal.

These are the motels i have experienced and that i can recommend. Altogh, there are many others. Any other question, don´t hesitate to pm me or post it. Good luck

I am somewhat amused when somebody uses the term "chica friendly" too. What is actually meant by that? Like Tom33, I can not imagine a hotel or especially a motel in Colombia turning you away because you have a girl with you... lol

Or does "chica friendly" mean they won't charge you extra for 2 just the cost of the room?

Based on my experience chica friendly refers to not being charged to have an overnight guest in your room as you stated in your post.

Chica friendly is normally about whether the hotel will let you book in by yourself, then bring a series of prostitutes to the room (one per day or sometimes more).

This will not be an issue for Kool. If you have the girl with you at check in time and stick with that same girl, it's always OK.

Hey Ric thanks alot. This is very useful info. I appreciate all you guys for taking the time to reply. As far as the "chica friendly" issue is concerned...for me it means weather I will have to pay additional for the girl to come to my room. My "girlfriend is a "pro".I met her some time back at Cassanova and she speaks no english and I very little Spanish but the "Body Chemistry" is amazing. At the end of the day...she gets paid.

I must admit that I feel a bit guilty because I have been a lurker on this board for quite some time now and have never posted a report. Partly because some of the other reports are much more informative than what I have so I get cold feet. However, I promise to change that very soon.

Hermes, I have been to that area and I love it. There is also Restrepo further east which is similar. HOWEVER please be advised that many of those non-pros may actually be pros just working in a very low-key fashion. Then again, they may be not, it can get really hard to know the difference.

Both along 1 de mayo and around Restrepo there are lots of hotels that go for 20-22k per 12 hour block during the week, 50% more on weekends. The first time I went to BOG I was actually staying there full time. Many of the buildings are brand new or recently renovated and actually GORGEOUS! The only drag is that the hot water is more warm than hot sometimes. The hotels are built for locals and the Rolos dont really care much about hot water.

But th girls who looked me up where there with male and female friends all in their age bracket. Maybe it differs form bar to bar and my girlfriend for the weekend chose the bars.

ThanksYou can check their website, it has just been updated, offering some new promotions, the girls are dressed in santa claus outfits no modays, wendsdays and fridays. Also you can pick two girls for your massage, and participate for a 50% discount in your next service. ALso they give away some extras (clothing, scented candles, special lights etc). MAssages are about 30.000 pesos (1 dollar = 2200 pesos aprox. to this date), with BJ 80000 and full service aroun 130.000 pesos. You can ask for a "presentacion" (presentation), and the girls introduce themselves, one by one, to you, so you can pick. DAniela or MAfe are good options, but there are so many to pick ... Good luck. (the address and phone numbers are in www.abejita.com)

I know someone that went to Lancaster's about 1 month ago and mentioned that it was pretty good. But I will check out Cassanova. Do taxi drivers know these places by name or is it better to have the address ?

Also AG, did you feel safe going to La Pisina or El Castillo ? I have heard that it is not wise for a gringo (which I am) to be there solo late at night.

Thanks guys for all the info.

Mostly, they are open until 7 or 8 p.m. It would be best to confirm via phone previously. About the BBBJ, it depends on the girl you choose. I was lucky to find one that performed BBBJ on me without asking (she even made it better applying "arequipe" -kind of a condensed milk dessert- on my cock, it was awesome!). Her name is Linda, but she told me she was going to be on vacation since Dic. 16, I don't know when she will be back.

For escort service i always recommend Complice (http://pwp.etb.net.co/derumbaenbogota/index.html), it's the only one I've seen that has real pictures, and the service is very good.

Also i have some independent girls, that are very good. If you need more information or if you are coming to Bogota, just PM me and i can guide you, help you with translations, or at least give you some pointers.

BJ´s are covered in the full service. Sessions last about 45 to 60 minutes, but it also depends on how much time you take to finish. The girls don´t bug you so much about the time, they are very sweet and kind.

Any day is good, from monday to friday, IMHO the best time to go is some time before noon.

Abado massage parlor (Carrera 15 No. 116-59 Apartment 203)

Mentioned here before, I thought I'd give it a try.

Up the stairs to your left. 203 is clearly marked and they also use the local opposite though you get a lot of street noise there.

Not as run-down as suggested, but certainly budget. But at 30k for massage+ and 50k for "relation completo" it will do.

First outing was with Nathalie -- friendly, but didn't seem to like giving BJ. But seemed to enjoy DATY and offered "relation completo" even though I'd only paid the 30k, for which I tipped her an extra 10k even though I was disappointed in her oral skills. Might try her again.

Next time round was with Alejandra for the full works. Big fake moaner, wouldn't allow me to finger or lick her. Lame fuck so in the end I got her to finish me orally, which also stopped the stupid moaning. Turned out to be rather good with her mouth and tongue. Overall though, disappointing attitude, seemed in a rush to get it over with. Give her a miss.

First off. Thanks to the many folks who have posted so many informative posts in the past year; it was very helpful to me on my first trip to Colombia. Thanks and best wishes to you in the New Year.

I was in Bogotá for a couple of days before going to Cartagena earlier this month. I tried out a couple of the massage parlors, stopped by Bar Zhivago and did a brief tour of Barrio Santa Fe. All these spots have been covered in recent posts, these are just my impressions. As I said, this was my first visit to Colombia. I'm from the US, an obvious gringo, I speak a little Spanish. I've made a few trips to the Dominican Republic in the past two years, one trip to Venezuela last year. Still pretty new to the hobby, I make mistakes even when I've read posts here warning me of this and that. So, that's a little bit of my deal and these are some of my impressions.

Abejita's massage (Carrera 14 No. 83-23; not very obvious). I walked up stairs and was quickly moved into a room by an attractive girl who quoted (I thought) 300k for a nude massage + 40k more for a blow job + 40k more of something else + 40k more for the deed. I was crushed, since I'd seen posts here for 150k for what sounded like the complete deal and I was thinking no amount of wheeling and dealing was going to get me down anywhere near that price. I walked out. I was thinking maybe she shot high because I'm such an obvious gringo or maybe it was because it was a Sunday afternoon. Stupid.

Right now, I think it was just a disconnect between my limited Spanish and her seeing a chance at a big payoff. She asked for 30k. I thought she asked for 300k. She thought I might take the bait at 300k. Anyway, even as pretty as she was, I was hoping for a little more choice ahead of the negotiations.

Cachaca Lover has a great post somewhere on the Colombia forum on the importance of learning Spanish. I'm pretty new to it.

I knew I could fall back to Abado (see AddictedToWomen's post below). The girls there are not up to the same standard as the chica at Abejita's, but like Addicted puts it you can get two chicas on the cheap. I was feeling pretty good for nailing two for 1/3 of what I thought the opening price was at Abejita's. Frankly, the thin walls and the customers coming and going just adds to the atmosphere. It's not something I've experienced before and was feeling pretty happy about opting out of Abejita's after finishing up. Stupid and happy.

Later, I stopped by Bar Zhivago. I think it's a pretty expensive venue. The exit fee for me was 80k. The most attractive chicas started asking for 200k. Although some chicas will slip you their phone numbers in order to work around the bar fine. My impression is it's pretty easy to figure out the hotel the girls are staying at. If you were spending time in Bogota it would not be hard to work around the Zhivago bar fine. I was pretty struck by the chicas working at Bar Zhivago (also known as Juan Pablo Karaoke; Carrera 18 No. 93a - 83) there were around 30 girls working there and I had some problem trying to figure out which of the top five I wanted the most.

Obviously, the girls who are not the most attractive (although not unattractive) try to work a deal before you've got a chance to figure out you've landed in a place very unlike anything in the United States.

I got an outstanding BBBJ from a tight little girl - Julie - she's short with very little body fat. 19 years. Great chest. Long black hair, but she said she was going to dye it red/blonde soon. She's from Honda. I think she's got attention deficit disorder, but once she knows you're going to take her she seems to focus and gets pretty enthusiastic. I did her and her cousin, one at a time, paid the bar fine at Bar Zhivago both times.

I did swing by the Santa Fe District (with such venues as La Piscina, El Castillo, Venus Show Bar). I did this during the day and in a cab. It's a place a really want to check out at night - but I'm so clearly a gringo and my Spanish is borderline and this was my first visit. I really wanted to get the LDV in Cartagena before dying, so I decided to pass on it this time around. This is the big disadvantage for me in Bogota - I'm never going to blend into the scene.

On the other hand, I was sort of amazed at the attention I got from women in the Zona Rosa, just sitting sipping a drink at a cafe. You know, you're just sitting there and a couple of women strike up a conversation with you and, shortly, you've got a phone number. Just like the good old days.

the following are just random and general thoughts and opinions of my exp. in bogota. again, just my opinion. i was ihn town from the 20th of december till the 24th, then flew to cucuta to visit a little honey ( non-pro)that i met a few months ago in cartagena. then back to bogota for the 27th and 28th.

even though there is much military presence, it still felt a bit unsafe. i am hispanic, and i somewhat blended in, but not totally. i stayed two blocks away from zona rosa at the suites real 85, which is an excellent location. just a block away is the huge carulla supermarket, which has a good deli with all of the essentials, including a buffet style salad bar for there or to go. fresh food and clean place. half a block away, before getting to the supermarket, plenty of atm machines to choose from, along with a security guard next to the atm's. in the opposite direction, about 3 blocks away is a gym that has the basics, nothing spectacular, but it does the job.

zona rosa is a great place to meet people, especially non pros, as well as parque 93 which is about 5 to 6 block walk from carulla supermarket whch is located at car15 85(right on the corner). plenty of bars and rest. cafes to chose from. clean and safe area, for the most part. sometimes you will run into your occasional drunk bafoon harrasing you for money.

there are a couple of mongering places within this area. one which everyone must avoid like the plague, is one called cedro, located right of car. 82nd, and 15. there are a few guys around zona rosa with cards of the place, trying to escort you in there. red alert, stay away. i walked in on my own after getting some info. from one of the street guys with the bus. cards of the establishment. it is set up as a bar with individual rooms that include couches and a mattress on the floor. there is a line up of girls that come and intro. themselves one by one. nothing to write home about, but then again i am a picky mother**** when it comes to ladies looks. there was only one doable, she was not gorgeous, but she had a naughty, f***** me look. since i was in the mood for that, i told the guy in charge, i wanted to chat with her, and also asked hime, what the deal with this place, how does it work and what do you charge?

it works like this, you neg. with the girl for service. then neg. room with the guy in charge. at first, he wanted to charge me 20,000 pesos for a freaken beer, i don;t even drink beer, only hard drinks, and those are more expensive. i neg. the beer down to 12,000 pesos which i gave to the girl i chose, her name is diva ( real name-andrea ). ^ft tall, slanted eyes, and wears glasses, extremely sexy, but what a shark. we neg. 90,000 pesos ( she first started with 180,000) for an hour and a half( i responded with a chuckle), i neg. room for 40,000 pesos, after the head guy first asked for 80,000, he lowered to 40,000. i walk in the room, girl comes in, she goes to the bathroom. some witch walks in and offered a condom for 2,000 pesos, and 3 for 10,000 pesos(that is no error my friends), 1 for 2,000, and 3 for 10,000? i just started laughing out loud, told the skank to scram. i closed the door and locked it.

the girl comes out, demands i pay up front, i said no, she starts bitching and i say, look, pay half now, then other half after (this turned out to be a wise choice), she agrees. we talk for a few minutes, she is comfortable and relaxed, so was i, we start to undress, she said earlier she would dance for me, she was acting as thought she was shy, after telling me she had been working there for 2 yrs ( shy? yeah right). she starts covered bj, for about 5 to 10 minutes, it was ok. then when i start banging her , about 5 minutes into it, he tells me she is tired, give me a break, i was pumping her hard, but this gall is full of crap. then she starts complaining it too hot. i just said, screw this and screw you. i got dressed, walked out, the head guy alonf with some other working gall were in shock to see me walkout of the room somewhat angry. i told the guy, that from the moment i walked in, it was a survival mission to not get ripped off, and that his girl diva was a lazy dud. i told him i would spread the word to others about this dump( and i am). i usually do not have these experiences, but i was curious about the place. as i was walking down the treet, the same guy who gave me the cedro card has the balls to ask me for a tip(for telling me about this place), i began to laugh, and told him i spent all 5oo,ooo pesos at cedro, and had nothing left in my pocket.

on a positive note, i was at albejitas mass. parlor ( check previous posts by others about exact location). i wakied in my first time at 5pm, met a gal called cynthia, what a goodlooking spinner. 130,000 for covered bj, and banging in different positions, and a very good massage. was in there for about 1:15 minutes. good service, good looking gal. only thing that i did not like, they did not have a shower in the room( means that you might leave a bit more slick (oil) than you first walked in). she told me, they are open at 8am till 10 pm.

was also there for a second time, and it was with roxana, good looking gal from bogota, ok ass, but nice boobies and good attitude. she continued to complenting my body, and yanked the condom off, and gave me uncovered by. believe me, the compliment did not bring a smile to my face, it was her lips wraped around my uncovered soldier. then banging in different positions. 130,000 for the deal. she was cool.

as for other areas, i walked by extasis on the way to parquen 93 one night, wanted to charge 20,000 just to walk in, not including a drink, so i just kept walking. on my last day in bogota, i tried out this place in a residential neighborhood, a taxi driver i met a couple of days earlier told me about it, so i said what the hell, gave it a try. basically, you walk into this house, a group of girls walk out and say there name, you choose and go to a room with a sofa bed, it costs 70,000 for an hour, 50,000 for 40 minutes. girls were young and cute, not bad service. i don't think the plavce has a name, cause it was a house, not a bus. or bar. it was about 10 blocks away from the hotel. but i am sure there are many more placesd like this in bogota. good taxi drivers know.

i did not go to the sante fe area. can't comment on it. but from what i have been told, you really have to watch out, especially if you are gringo. i heard this from a couple of colombians i spoke to at the hotel. i did go to the movies at atlantico mall with a non pro, very nice place to take a date. shopping for good deals at unicentro, touristic musta for newbies, the cathedral made out of salt, museo de oro, botero paintings close by. candelaria neighborhood, quinta de bolivar, and a few others. as for a place called "andres carne de res", it is highly recommended, great food, people, and music, but drinks are pricey. everyone in bogota knows about this place, and how to get there.

as for my stay in the city of cucuta, it is the most boring place i have been to in my life, thank god i was there to meet a girl i met a while back, great times with her at hotel bolivar, in my room and by the pool. trust, don't waste your time in this place, even if you know a gal from there. just pay for her plane ticket, and have her meet you anywhere on earth, except cucuta. its also very hot and sticky. i also did not feel secure in this city. hope my info. helps someone in the future. overall my trip was good, but not great. then again, i have been to many cities through many countries this year alone, and they were a blast, including cartagena in colombia.

bogota does not interest me enough for a return trip anytime soon, unless i need to make a stop there on the way to somewhere else. i think i will give medellin or cali a try next time i go to colombia. most of the babes i have met from colombia are from one of those two places( almost always seems that way). thanks for letting me contribute to this forum, and a happy new year to all.

Will be in bogota two weeks. Is anyone familiar to the brothel scene there ? I dont' like escorts and prefer to have an upscale place where to hang out with my clients. So what are the best in town ? Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thx guys

French, you may like Zhivago / Juan Pablo's (see listings just below for the address).

It's a couple of nice big rooms with a bar and lots of lounges. Not top mongering value, but good place to pass the time with your colleagues and perhaps some female company onsite.

Hi Guys,

I will stay soon for some time at the Radisson Hotel in Bogota.

Does anyone have an idea if there is some action in the area around the hotel (streetwalkers, Bars, Massage, ...).

I do not want to go too far by night via Taxi.

What are zour favourite recommendations.

Otherwise some escort service will also do.

Thanks

We stumbled into an unmarked place next to Excalibur last night (K15 with 85?), which the tout claimed was La Piscina -- have they another one now?

Nice enough place, but the lass that caught my eye wanted 250k and only dropped to 200k. After adding in the hotel, that was going to be 5+ pops up at the cheapy join on 116 so I, most reluctantly, said no thanks. Odd: it was late, the place was full of girls and, it being a Thursday early in January, bereft of punters, a real buy two get a third free night.

But no dice. Own up: who's been driving the price up?

That La Piscina you went to was new. When I was in Bogota in November I was told a new Piscina would be added near La Zona Rosa. The reason for the price being high is the location, all those bars in that area are expensive and overpriced. Cheap prices can be found near the Santa Fe district. Also, the girls tend to go from place to place each night, meaning you can see the same girls at the downtown bars that were in Santa Fe earlier in the night.

There was a holdup by the mayor of Chapinero on the construction of Piscina II, a problem with the permits. Evidently it is owned by an Italian and he did not grease enough hands. I found this in a google search of LaPiscina Bogota it was an article in El Diario. Is there a pool there?/ lol. I am going top Bogota this spring and the place sounds wide open I will go to the old one in Caracas avenida, with someone from here hopefully.

Thanks Wubayou. Not sure I fancy going down to Santa Fe: sounds far too dangerous, but who knows.

Trickbaby -- A very small piscina, yes. More like a fountain pool without the fountain. Worth passing by just to see a nice looking longue. But the pussy's overpriced :(

GFE/Non Pro?:
Malls: Atlantis Mall, Carrera 15 & Calle 85
Bogota Beer Company
Gotica, Calle 14 # 82-50
Mr. Barbilla, Calle 82, # 12-15
Cityscape or Metropolis

WT --

Mr B's is rubble.

Cityscape, ex-Charlottes, appears to have been bought out by their neighbour. The last two times I was there it was as lively as Mr B's is now.

There's at least two BBCs -- one in the ZR, another on Av 19, a few block north of Cl 116. Next to the one in the ZR is Palos be Mugeur (sp?) which had some good talent the other night: some looked like it might have been pro though. Also too many gringos :)

Gotica also looked dead, no pun intended (they had a shooting there a while back. 6 (?) persons killed)

I am new in the forum but am glad about this web site. I am going for 2 weeks want to check the girls but don't like to go by myself. Anyone interested?

I am originally from there so I move well locally, and language not a problem. Let me know.

Thank you

Lancaster, Calle 90 #14-57

Gonna be soon in Bogota. I will stay in an aparthotel in the Chico area (Viaggio El Virrey, on 86th), close to Lancaster, which has been reported as an after hours place. But is it a disco or a club, at what time the chicas start heading over there, any fee to take out ??

Also I heard that Gotica was THE non-pro after-hours in town. Any semi-pros/occasionnals in this place ?

Thanks.

I don't know Juan, but I have a professional driver friend (I'll lay out the insight I have individually, not publicly). He's a terrific, savvy, docile guy who happens to be licensed to carry a firearm.

PM if interested.

Checked out 2 massage places. Abejitas (Terapias Manualas) Carrera 14 #83-23. There were 8-10 chicas working. All beauties. I took Jenny. Paid 30,000 for massage and 80,000 for the BJ and she talked me into another 20,000 to let me play with her tits. I think the cost was too high.

Next day I went to Estrato 6, Calle 83 #14-26. There are 5-6 chicas working. All nice. I took the one that greeted me. I paid 30,000 for the massage and 40,000 for the BJ. She also let me rub the hell out of her pussy.

In mid Jan I went to Bogota. Stayed at Hamilton court at zona rosa. nice place.
during eveing and night there were many guys offering chicas. but I was skeptic to take these girls to hotel due to security issue.

At night I asked hotel receptionist and he was more than happy to offer a girl to me. I explained him my taste and he made phone call.

30 min later a 23 yo beautiful girl with nice racks was at my door. Her name was Angelica. she was really beautiful and body to die for. the deal was 200K for 1.30 h.
We tried to communicate but she didnt know english. so we went in action. she was very cooperative. she only gives CBJ, that was disappointment.

First round was little early so we relaxed a little.immediately after first round she wanted to raid room bar for that I said no to her. for next 10 min she played with me and made me recover.

Funny thing was she had only one condom, so she called reception and they delivered more condoms. in all we had three rounds.

I wish i took my camera with me show you all her pics. Hotel didnt charge me anything extra.

Fellows, I just got a daily quote of 150,000 pesos for Real Suite 85. Is that on the level or can you recommend a better place. I need immediate help, thanks.

take a look at these :

http://www.yellowpages-caribbean.com/Countries/Colombia/result.cfm?country=CO&Category=Hotels%20and%20motels&getkey=&CompName=&GetCity=&GetDept=&Island

you will sure find apartments under 150.000 COP

i booked one and they quote me 125K cop a night in a neighborhood called Salitre.
Any aparta hotel in streets numbered above 100 to 200 are very secure and nice neighbourhood. (this is north of Bogota). and most have no hassle with guests.
