First of all, basics for newbies.
I changed a small amount at a travelex before I left, as I like to land in a foreign country with some local currency in my pocket. I took Woodman09 up on his offer of a guided tour around Santa Fe. I had high expectations but they were exceeded. I'm not sure I can paint a true picture with words. The YouTube videos of SF don't do it justice. Picture 100's of stunning girls lining the streets. I'm talking loads of 8's, 9's and 10's. Mixed day.
I decided I wanted fun in a jacuzzi today. Called my local guru, aka Woodman09, who told me that the love motels have them. Went to check a few out and settled on Nuevo Chalet. It was now midnight and I was spent, both physically and financially. I'd underestimated how quickly drinks would add up and don't carry much cash with me when I'm out and about in SF. According to google maps, the nearest ATM was more than half a mile from the club, so, much as it hurt me to leave early on my last night in Bogota, I wasn't prepared to walk through unknown parts of Santa Fe to an ATM in an area which was who knows how safe. I called an Uber and headed home. I'd had a cracking night and tomorrow is another day, plus I needed to get home with enough energy to post this report tonight, otherwise it would never happen.

I only checked out the first floor of the club, there is a mezzanine level, fully visible from below and vice versa. First floor had nice sofas to sit and get acquainted with the chicas. The only downside is the music is very loud. Must have been 30 chicas, plenty of which were available, which was a little surprising for a Saturday night. It worked for me though. Well that's me off. Had a relaxing final day. Finished it off with repeat booking in my apartment just before I had to leave for the airport, to guarantee I leave on a high.
Parting words of advice for newbies is Bogotá airport has a long line for passport control (and no priority lane) so leave at least half an hour to get through, probably more to be safe. My AA flight started boarding almost an hour before departure. Worth noting if you want to guarantee overhead space where you're sitting and not have the flight attendant start looking for space 30 rows back.
Uber driver wouldn't go to departures, he went into the car park because in his words "Uber is illegal at the airport". Not a big deal, just leave another few minutes to get upstairs to departures.
Tried to connect to airport WiFi but couldn't sign in, so don't rely on it.
It's been a great adventure, can't wait for my next trip.

First of all, basics for newbies.
I changed a small amount at a travelex before I left, as I like to land in a foreign country with some local currency in my pocket. I knew it was expensive but didn't mind for a small amount and assumed it would be cheaper than the change place on arrival. I was wrong. The change place in the terminal is advertising 2,600 to the USD with no fees, against the interbank rate of 2,786, so actually very reasonable.
Arrivals is easy, if a little busy. Fill in a basic form, go through passport control with no picture or fingerprint scanning, pick up your luggage, go through customs, then line up to put your luggage through an x-ray. I could have been lucky but it was a lot quicker than clearing immigration and customs used to be at the major US airports, before they introduced the APC and GE machines..
That's why I probably will never go back to the Dominican Republic. I went there once. Probably won't return, since Colombia, overall, is so much better than the DR.

I don't consider myself expert on either (but I have general knowledge of both Colombia and the Caribbean).
One thing to consider is weather. The DR is going to be great in Winter,: sunny, warm, beaches and reasonably long days, but miserable in summer: super hot and humid with the threat of hurricanes that can not only shut things down but wipe them out at a moment's notice. Bogota has rainy periods but generally cool (not cold) temperature and average length days all year round. I think that spring and fall are the wettest months, so during those periods, which tend to be nice in the Caribbean, especially spring, I might choose the DR, but in summer, the DR has a large potential for miserable weather whereas Bogota should be pleasant. Then again, in the Americas the place called "the land of eternal spring" is usually Medellin (on the other side of the Atlantic it's the Canary Islands, but the P4 P scene there is more complicated).
Also, I also think it depends on whether you prefer dark skinned afro / latin girls or light skinned euro / latin ones. You're welcome to like both and I hope this is not a racist choice, but part of why we're on here (I think) is to find what we like without judgement. Bogota and the DR are going to be different ethnically.

The chicks perfectly know their value on this market. A little late on the report but my flight was cancelled and things got a bit hectic at the airport.

It seems like there are beautiful women of all types in Colombia but my preference is for white ladies. Some of the pics I've seen on websites and videos for the brothels and massage parlors in Colombia show mostly darker (more Latina looking or mixed Mestizo) women in those places. Some of the other sites I've researched say that Bogota has mostly Mestizos, and that Medellin has mostly white women. But one site said that Bogota has lots of white women too. Been on this forum for a few years now, I have horrible Spanish, but somehow I usually get along. This will be my first time in Colombia, I've only ever played in Tijuana and the Philippines. I'm good looking, in my early 20's and could probably game girls down there, but that's not what I'm looking for on this trip. I have a few questions about how things work down there.
1: Should I stay in a hotel? How easy is it to bring escorts over, does anyone have any experience in this? Looking for a hotel under $40 us. Or should I just stay in a hostel or split it up. Also, is it easier to bring chicas to airbnbs vs hotel?(obviously not bringing to a hostel LOL).

0. If your spanish is horrible, I don't think you're going to be gaming anyone regardless. I've played in Tijuana and the Philippines as well, so I know where you're coming from.
1. Most of the chain hotels will charge a fee to bring in guests which are not registered. I recommend AirBnb. I would try to get someplace with a doorman as I've seen some ads specifically say they only go to buildings with doormen. This is probably better for your own safety as well.
2. There's plenty of strip clubs in Bogota, but from what I can tell, there is much less groping when compared to Tijuana (I was in Hong Kong many years, ago, so I can only compare from then). You're welcome to buy girls as many drinks as you want, the difference is that the drinks for girls tend to be the same price as your own drinks, so theres no surcharge. And hence maybe that's why there's less groping? Perhaps? Or more likely I think it may be a cultural difference. Most of the time when a girl sits down with you, she's trying to get you to take her to one of the private rooms. A common MO, is to go into a club and buy a bottle or a half bottle and invite girls to sit down with you and they just share your bottle. No requirement to buy a separate drink for her, unless she really doesn't like what your drinking. As for the comment about having to buy a bottle, I'd say that partially true. You may have to buy a bottle at very specific clubs or to get seated at in particular areas, but I've never been a place where I was required to purchase a bottle. A single beer is fine too.
3. From my experience, prices are usually accurate. But of course they're open to negotiation. I prefer they come to my place as I don't want to spend the time going to find whereever it is they work. That usually involves a small surcharge, maybe 20 k or so.
4. I've never been to swinger clubs. Cannot comment.
Enjoy yourself. Be safe. Improve your spanish as much as you can before you can. The better your spanish, the better your experience will be.
Been on this forum for a few years now, I have horrible Spanish, but somehow I usually get along. This will be my first time in Colombia, I've only ever played in Tijuana and the Philippines. I'm good looking, in my early 20's and could probably game girls down there, but that's not what I'm looking for on this trip. I have a few questions about how things work down there.
1: Should I stay in a hotel? How easy is it to bring escorts over, does anyone have any experience in this? Looking for a hotel under $40 us. Or should I just stay in a hostel or split it up. Also, is it easier to bring chicas to airbnbs vs hotel?(obviously not bringing to a hostel LOL).
2: Are the clubs like Hong Kong in Tijuana, where you can sit and watch someone stripping, buy a girl a drink and get unlimited touching? If you could describe what the clubs are like that would be awesome.

It seems like there are beautiful women of all types in Colombia but my preference is for white ladies. Then why would you be fooling around in Latin America, then? If you want white women, then go to Europe. If you want really white women, got to Eastern Europe. Latin America is full of all kinds of beautiful women of all shades. If you can only appreciate a fraction of their beauty, then you are wasting your time, and their time. Do you really think you have to pay to leave a place when you did not get any service or taking a girl out? Wtf, really? That would be considered kidnapping/secuestro...lol.Not so funny because there are places like this. I guess it is all in how it is worded or presented though as to why it went over your head. In some casas in Medellin you have to pay 2 or 3 thousand pesos viewing fee after the girls are presented if you do not take one. You can buy a beer and that will cover it. Some places you can just walk out without buying anything or paying the fee and get away with it. Other places they will make a big stink about it.
At Fase 2 in Medellin you pay 10K pesos when you enter. In 4x4 in Rio there is an entrance fee of $20 that you pay WHEN YOU LEAVE. If you take a girl before 5pm then that entrance fee is waived. If you decide not to take a girl then you can not just leave without paying the $20. Same thing. Is it still so ridiculous when it is put this way? Just because you don't have to pay it as soon as you walk in the door does not mean you do not have to pay it at all.
I have used SA in Medellin and one lady in Bucaramanga (she was advertising in MDE). There are tons of girls in the MDE SA section, so I am assuming BOG has alot. Does anyone have a feedback on success rate of seeking arrangement in Bogota or Colombia in general?

Bogota FR Part I.
This is my FR on my first ever trip to Bogota (and Colombia). Many thanks to members of the forum who provided information through pm. Of course Routard's FR acted as a reference guide for the whole tour.
Special thanks to TravelerBoss for providing contact of driver who helped him. He was indeed great and drove me around the entire trip. The overall cost may be higher than Uber, but he also acted as guide / driver / translator and took me to Santa Fe area which probably I would not have gone alone. My report below is based on my own experience and subject date and time of visits.
Day I:
Arrived at night, it took some time to clear the customers. Stayed at recommended place in Zona T area. By the time I was in room it was mid night. Decided to check out night club near by (Laos if I am not mistaken). It was Thursday night and there were around dozen girls. The drink costed me 45 mil. Girls were decent but not hot. Choose one who was giving me eye contact since I entered the club. Bought her drink. It was getting late for me so asked about joining me for the night. She quoted USD100. The manger came up with a bill of 300 mil including bar fine+drinks. The girl was sweet and tight, but service was not great. Slept after just one pop. She gave me her number. I was kind of ticked of by the push by the manger for drinks / choosing a girl and due to costs so decided to check out other options next day.
Day II.
It was Friday. Went to day clubs in Chapinero area around 11 am. Visited Chicas Milenio Calle 71 #14 A-24. I could not find exact address on google map so went with my driver. There were around 5 girls. One was hot but before I could juggle with my google translator and talk to the house lady she was picked by other customer. I took the other hot one. Was quoted 80 mil after some negotiation for HH. While in the room girl asked 50 mil more for DFK and boob sucking (with CBJ). Overall it was decent experience, but it was kind of quick, she was a true pro. Next moved to Chicas 2000 which is on opposite site. Only few girls were there but still found a good one. Rate card was on the board, took her for HH fat 35 mil. When in the room asked the girl to keep the change of 15 mil. She was happy and said she will provide extras (DFK+boob suck) in return. Learned my lesson to be careful for subsequent sessions. It was raining hard so decided to call it a day.
Day III:
It was Saturday. Got up fresh after nice dinner and plenty of wine last night. Started around 11 am from the hotel and went to Chicas Milenio. There were around five girls, and the hot one did not seem to be in mood as she did not make a good eye contact. So, took one from last visit. She quoted 80 mil extra for BBBJ. So, went with CBJ, DFK and boob suck for 50 mil extra. Went for some site seeing with the drive after this and returned to hotel for some rest in the afternoon. In the night started around 9 pm. Went to Pussy Club in Chapinero. It was full. As mentioned in earlier post the drink was cheap compared to other places. All hot ones were occupied, and I did not find any one to my liking so left after 1 hour. Next stop was La Forty Nine (La 49) Carrera 13 # 49-77. Reached there around 11 pm. I found the ambiance to be pretty good. More girls than customers. Drink costed around 30 mil. Took one from girl who was Venezuela and made eye contact all along. Bought her drink for 25 mil. We danced on second floor which was empty. She got me hard by her moves. She quoted 300 mil for room and said there was a minimum limit of three drinks before going to the room. Going by prices quoted on the forum, I felt I was being scammed so decided to leave. I felt the club has really nice atmosphere and if you want to take a girl and spend time dancing / talking.
I was already turned on so decided to visit Zona de tolerencia as I had my driver as local guide. Went to Troya but there was lot of police around the area and was told there was some issue going on inside the club. Hence my driver took me to some other club. The streets were very busy. I do not remember the name. Inside I found the atmosphere very live. Beer cost me 22 mil. Girls were hot and the waiter who knew my driver asked me if I want to talk to any girl. Suggested him one girl who I found hot but was not giving me any eye contact. Bought her a redbull for 15 mil. Went to room with her which costed me 80 mil. She allowed light kissing and overall it was a decent experience with a hot girl. Next, went back to Troya as situation there improved. Driver asked 10 mil tip / entry fee for the guard. He took me in and offered me a good seat. The club was full and there were lot of hot girls. The guard introduced me to a hot girl who was slightly chubby but good looking with nice assets and long hair. Bought her a drink for 20 mil and chatted with her for a while using google translator. She quoted 100 mil and promised good service. Took her upstairs and boy that was one heck of a PSE experience. I was really drunk by that point and having five pops in last 24 hours finding it bit hard to finish but she made sure I finish and finish well. She asked for 30 mil tip for the extra effort and had to tip 10 mil to cleaning lady per her suggestion. It was a great experience.
Bogota FR Part II.
Day IV:
On Sunday, saw another girl that I found from dating site. She was 23 years and said she was a college student. Met her at the nearby mall and took her for coffee. She did not speak any English so communicated using translator app. Went for some shopping and bought her gifts around 300 mil. We started kissing while going back to room and once in the room went wild. She was flexible and took good initiative. Had three pops including sex in shower and on the sofa, 69, DFK. Took her out for dinner as I was also hungry. I made a mistake of letting her choose the place which was in Zona T area and was expensive. With my limited search I could not find menus with prices for the restaurants in the area. Dinner plus wine came out to be 200 mil. At the end she asked some money for books so passed her 100 mil for taxi plus books. The tricky part was that she started getting sad and crying at the end of the dinner saying we are not going to see each other again because I was leaving soon. I was bit taken a back but tried to console her. While dropped her to her taxi she was kissing and hugging all the way. I started feeling bit sad myself but finally dropped her off. To cheer up myself visited Troya again. It was totally different atmosphere on Sunday. Took one Venezuelan girl who was again good PSE. Damage was 70 mil for room+drinks and some tip.
Day V:
On Final day rested still afternoon and went for some more site seeing. Decided to visit swinger club recommended by Routard in his great FR. Reached there around 5 pm on Monday. There were around five guys and couple of girls. I was bit nervous as this was my first visit to swinger place. The girls were working girls and there was no couple at that time. They made sure I felt welcomed even though I was only one who did not spoke any Spanish. Had some drinks and then some fun games in pool. After this the action started and one of the girl started stroking me and one other guy. The other girl left as she said she was not working on that day. She asked me to enter her and took the other guy by mouth, midway she took me her other hole as well. After me she started taking others one by one. I left soon after as it was getting late and I need to catch my flight. Girls there told me if I can come back on Wednesday they can introduce me to real swingers. Santa fe was rocking last night.
Being the day before a public holiday it was as busy as a Friday.
There were over 100 girls in the street.
I spent most of my time in Azules, next door to Atunes. Lots of girls giving lap dances completely nude and allowing touching everywhere at only COP10.000.
Around 20 girls, mostly in the 20-30 age range. All slim and hot. All fair skinned, so not the place to go if you like darker skinned ladies.
I was quoted COP40.000 for a short time.

Seems people like to fear monger (which gets in the way of the better kind of mongering LOL). Thankful for any counsel from the wise ones.

I have lived in Bogota for 7.5 yrs been to SF hundreds of times. It is safe as long as you don't act stupid. The best time to go is 8-12 pm Tue-Sat --I would not go there 2-4 am probably not as safe.Thanks for the input and the photo. I've done Medellin and ready to do Bogota before the year is over. But, for the sake of simplicity, do you recommend grabbing a room there in Santa Fe for the day, or just take a cab there? Because I don't live there I might have the urge for more than one session. For the first few days before the being an old man sets in.

I figured this is a good backup in case anything goes sideways and I get robbed or run out of money. I think you can only send yourself under $500. But yeah, that's another option. Exchange rate at WU seems pretty close to market rate. You can always check it online by going through most of the steps to send yourself money.

I had a terrible headache and no appetite which are normal symptoms of moderate / mild altitude sickness my entire stay. I totally forgot when I arrived about the altitude but then grabbed some ibuprofen which definitely helped. I was never right the entire time and think I was just starting to adjust the day I left. It didn't help probably since I did walk too much my first few days since that is what you do when visiting a new place and soaking it all in. And I was sweating like crazy since with my jacket and jeans on although it was like 65 degrees. The first night I arrived I was all excited to head out but my body just couldn't function and with the headache I crashed right to sleep.
So I did some reading up for a next visit and from what I found everybody is just different, but if you've been in higher altitudes before and didn't get any symptoms you should maybe make out better as you're just one of the lucky ones or your body is used to living in a higher altitude. I'm a bit concerned of returning for that reason and instead planning a Cartagena visit next time.
But, although I felt that terrible and still drank my alcohol and beers while staying up to 3 am every night, I managed to go out every night and call in for fun with the escorts although some of it's a bit fuzzy and I ended up having to sleep more than I would have liked! If you don't drink there are prescription drugs to help I've read or just do continuous daily dosing of ibuprofen to help with the symptoms. Sounds like you'll be fine though if have done the 7000 feet thing already and managed, but it is another 1600 feet and maybe that's your bodies breaking point. Incremental steps up to higher altitude is the best way to adjust. Or just say that and use it as an excuse to visit Medellin.

Landed in Cusco (11,152) and thought I'd die within the next few minutes. My buddy (heart problems and older than me, in his mid-50's back then) couldn't grasp what I was talking about.
Boarded the train to Machu Picchu. Disemabarked in Aguas Calientes (6,693). Totally fine.

These reports seem to take awhile to go through, but I went to Santa Fe last night and had a mixed experience. Went to Troya first, used Uber which is very cheap.

This report is few months old. Was busy and lazy, but want to pen down so that newbies can avoid the issues that I had. Booked the seperate tickets to MEX (united) and Avianca to from MEX to BOG. Though I saved $150 by doing this, It was a mistake. Had to stand in the MEX immigration queue for more than an hour each time that I transitioned through MEX Airport. Foreigners Queue was 3 times large than the locals both the times.
Landed in Bogota and exchanged some local currency before the customs. They took my fingerprints and signatures in several pages. Never had to do this much paper work anywhere that I visited. Booked the Uber and the driver accepted my trip but never showed up. It was showing 5 minutes away always. He cancelled it after 15 minutes. Booked again and after 10 minutes the driver called me on my US phone. I have zero talking skills in Spanish other than the 20 most frequently used words. I handed over the phone to a guy who was waiting like me. He talked to the driver and asked me to go to the Departures area, where the driver was waiting. Reached the Hotel (Windham Bogota ART). Hotel was excellent with free buffet style amazing breakfast with lots of western and local food. Paid $68 per night. There is small casino downstairs. Played BlackJack for an hour plus and gained 200 mil, but walked out only after loosing that.
There were few ATM machines next to the Casino. Tried my Schwab card. It didn't worked in one. Tried couple of times. Then I moved to the next ATM machine and that Machine ate my card. Called the hotel security. They called the toll free number on the machine and they told us to cancel the card as it might be released after few hours. Contacted Schab and cancelled the card. This episode limited my mongering activities (to the available cash only) as I don't want to use another card and lose it again. My cancelled card was returned to me by the hotel in the Morning.
I read the forum thoroughly before my trip. Routard's Guide was spot on on everything. Special thanks for him for his efforts to put together the entire Bogota list with exact locations. Took a taxi from my hotel and showed him PussyHouse address on a small paper. He initially thought I am dumb. He asked couple of questions. Turned on the Google translator and told him about my Spanish skills. He is a very young and a nice guy. From then on our conversation went via google translator. He called his friend and was laughing like anything on this whole thing. He dropped me and gave his WA number and told me that he can pick me up when I am done with 15 minutes notice.
Pussyhouse was full and rocking with loud music as it was a Friday evening. Waiter came and showed me the table at the end of the room as everything else was occupied. I showed him the beer as soon as I entered and I always payed with bigger notes so that I don't need to talk. I really don't want to use Google translator in the strip club. Spent couple of hours there and took one girl upstairs. I told her that No habla esponiol in the beginning and she smiled. From then on everything was in a sign language with her. Lack of language skills really bothersome as it was not true pleasant experience with lack of interaction. Texted the driver and he came in 15 minutes and picked me up dropped me at hotel.
Next morning, I called uber and went to masazitas place around noon. Driver tried to talk to me but told him that no Spanish skills and he left me alone. Went to the first floor and went around to the corner cabin all the way to the end. There were 3 girls with good bodies. But one had pleasant face too and I took her and paid 80 mil. The room was very tiny and it has a massage table and we can just stand beside that table. It was hard to remove the pant and shoes too. Again I told her that I don't speak Spanish before paying the money and she gave me a decent massage, CBJ and finished in top. She was smiling whenever I look at her. Really liked her attitude and tipped her 20 mil. Came out and walked around a bit and had lunch at some local restaurant. The food was OK.
I told my first day driver that I want to visit Santa Fe. He told me that it's a dangerous area if you don't speak Spanish and speaking through translator might create safety issues. He told me that he can accompany me for couple of hours. But he told me that I need to pay for his time. It sounded like a good deal and I asked him to come and pick me up at 4 PM. He was right on the time and we went to Santa Fe. He parked his car in paid parking lot. As we came out, there were about 4/5 cops on the corner checking the driving license of everyone walking through that corner. I showed my US DL and no questions were asked.
Regarding Santa Fe: The location was beautiful with mountains on one side. I never seen that many street girls anywhere. Most of them had good bodies, but not that good of faces. He took me to Attunes and spent some 30 minutes with few beers. There were about 25 girls that time. But didn't took any. I walked around the couple of blocks to really see the area. Though I had a brown skin, people noticed that I was not from there and tried to grab my hand to go into their club each time we pass by a club. Driver shooed them away. I was relaxed because of the Driver next to me. But it is a place every monger must visit once in a life time.
After Santa Fe visit I asked him to take me to a local food restaurant. Food is nothing to write about. Then we went to pussy house and to an another club next to it. Finally reached back to hotel around 9.30 PM.
Paid him the taxi fare plus 120 mil for his time. He seemed to be happy with that. Took the Uber to airport next day.
ATM / Debit Card fiasco killed my chances of enjoying high end SA and / or agency girls in my room. Better to carry enough cash. Lack of Spanish skills definitely a problem to have any good chemistry. Better to learn Spanish to some extent. Never felt threatened anywhere in the Bogota.

I have been to Medellin but not to Bogota, yet. I'm planning to go there for my birthday in November (give myself a birthday present) and I found your report very helpful. You episode with your credit card is worth noting. When I was in Medellin, I had no problem getting money from ATMs with my debit card until the 3rd night. Then none of them seemed to work with my card, though I used ATMs from different banks. I witnessed locals getting money from the same ATMs, so I knew they were in service and operative. Luckily I didn't have a problem the next morning and was able to withdraw cash, but I was glad I had some US $ stashed in the soles of my shoes.
My perception of Colombian food based on my brief trip to Medellin was that it was shamefully bland. Doesn't sound like your experience was any different. Maybe some more experienced folks can chime in on where to get some tasty grub. One good thing about Asia, my other point of interest, is that good food is the standard. Latin America, OTOH, is hit or miss depending on where you land.

A note to new visitors to Bogota: ATMs work, if they are on your card's network. My regular bank's debit card works just fine in my regular hotel's ATM. My credit union's debit card never does. Across the street at a bank ATM, the credit union card works fine. Check out the back of your card for the PLUS logo, and you should be good to go. If its not there stick to bank ATMs.

My thinking is that I should pick a hotel that's both close to SF, within walking distance, and not be so dumpy that FB girls won't come there. I've read of Hotel Ibis Museo but that's not quite walking distance. If anyone has a recommendation, let me know. Somewhere between $40-60 per night is acceptable.
The bars charge an exit fee if I read correctly, something like 120 k, not including money you give to the girl? In that case that rules out most direct takeout options.

So I arranged to meet this Lido girl outside for 400 k for toda la noche. We went eating, dancing from the early evening hours and she left my hotel room next day in the morning happily. Another time I had a super hot Lido girl, 8. 5 at my scale, came to my hotel room right next to Lido for a couple hours of fun, and gave her 260 k, or 280 K as we agreed. I don't know if they will really get any taker for 900 k / HR. Considering all other options guys have in the City. I confirm the prices in Lido are the one given just below. Remove the newbie signature you probably had that night stamped on your face and you will pay like all the others. Nonetheless, there are better option in Chapinero or Santa Fe.

Hey guys, just finished my second time in Bogota on a brief business trip. I don't speak any Spanish at all, but it never seems to be a problem. Last time I tried Troya at Santa Fe and a mezzanine massage spa, but this time I had the benefits of Routard's excellent Bogota FAQ and Travel 69's Google Map to guide me. Started with afternoon visits to the Chapinero brothels. Chicas Milenio Calle, 71 #14 A-24, was fantastic. At least 15 girls, too many to keep track of when they are introduced. I chose Lucia, a slim friendly pretty and petite girl who had a minimum of English. Not sure if I got the gringo pricing, but she said 80K/30 m and 120K/60, with an extra 20K for kissing and 50K for BBBJ. I started with 30 min, but as soon as she started kissing I increased to 60. OK so here is a report and experience that I had about 5 days ago. I headed to the forty-nine club late at night. There were mostly 7's and a few 8's who were all busy of course. I asked an 8 how much for her service and she said its 240 k and the club makes it mandatory to buy a bottle or media which costs 140 k. I said I'll come back later. I got mad and I left to the 49 club again LOL I came back half an hour later and saw her sitting with a man, she looked at me and smiled so I went to use the bathroom upstairs and another chica was calling my phone so I also talked in there for about 10 minutes because music was too loud to hear in the club. Upstairs there are rooms and a dance floor with more tables. When I got out, I saw her standing outside the bathroom surely waiting / looking for me. When I got out, we made eye contact and I smiled, she smiled but I left (I Remembered she went "upstairs" I left to 49 club again and decided to come back and get her number for another day and when I came back she was sitting drinking with a man (don't know if it was the same one). It was 3:20 am, so I left for my hotel. I'm sure if I asked her for Servicio after we danced, she would have done it. But moral of the story guys is "El que se enamora pierde" which is a famous phrase in Latin America which translates to "The one who falls in love, loses".
Good to hear all the up to date Bogota info as I'll be there next week. Interesting to hear others experiences of certain places. The one time I tried club La 49 I also saw mostly 7 and 8's. A blonde in there quoted me 300 K. I said no thanks and took off as I can get 5 girls in Santa Fe for that much. I didn't even know there was a club next door to it but maybe I'll check it out this time. Primer de Mayo was mentioned. I visited the two top clubs in this area and wasn't impressed with the talent, nothing higher than a 5 or 6. Also met a tour guide guy at Piscina del Norte, who took me to all the clubs in the area. He said it would be free, but ended up paying for about 40 K for his time. His service was actually worth it though. The girls at Lidos I would say are mostly 8's with some 9's. Great place if you can afford it. Blows La Isla in Medellin out of the water, but also much higher prices. The main waiter there is a total douchebag that adds a 'tarifa' to all drink costs and even the exit fee. I'm sure he just pockets the money.
I've also tried Flirt Hotel. They have about 10 girls at a time and line them up casa style. Girls cost 600 K COP for 30 minutes or 800 K for 1 hour with them in a room on site. The room is 5 star hotel level. The girls ranged mostly from 8 to 9, with one 10. Another guy got the 10 before me, but I had a great time with a 9. Probably won't go back there anytime soon due to the prices.
Wasn't impressed with pussy house in Chapaniero the couple times I've went, but may have just been back luck. I do like the way it's set up, will probably try again. There was a place right across the street from it that was lower end but had some cute girls, not sure if it's still open.

Errol.In Bali, last March I also ran into a problem getting onto ISG. I understand in Indonesia many things are simply censored by the IP, period. I went to Google Play, and downloaded Thunder VPN, a free app. End of problem and it didn't cost me one cent and probably took all of 5 minutes to download and set up. A firewall in a hotel should not be a problem.

Travel by taxi is pretty easy if you know the destination address, and very cheap and easy if you use uber, which is recommended.
Northern part of Bogota is the nice / rich / expensive area. The south part is El Centro in the La Candeleria area which is dirtier / poorer area. This is where the gold museum and Montserrat are at. The Santa Fe Barrio with all brothels are also near El Centro, which is the main area for mongering.
Was at Santa Fe Red light district last night (Saturday) but all clubs were closed due to alcohol ban for presidential election. This sucks. Looks like it won't be lifted until Monday Morning so I'm out of luck for today. There were a few girls working the hotel lobbys in the area but nothing to look at. I got a session with the only doable girl there (7 maybe). She lied about services she offered to get me in for 50 K COP, but didn't deliver in the room. Better than nothing though. Koslord, I end up staying at Atton hotel. I'll be in Colombia till the 25th but traveling around to see other cities as well. How long in each city will depend on if I can find a guide and if I've gone around enough, get a little taste in each city but I will have to be back in Bogota for my flight home. You picked a good location with Annton hotel, I'm staying at Mercure BH which is also close to the El Retiro area. I'd recommend this area for first timers. The Mercure $70 US / night, is a nice hotel, no complaints. But I'll probably switch to Dann Carlton Hotel and Spa to bring back company easier. It might be stupid, but I don't like the awkwardness / jealousy of seeing the lobby people after I've brought in girls. Not a big issue at Dann Carlton Hotel and Spa as you don't have to go by the front desk. This is an expensive high end hotel though at about $90/ night, breakfast there is amazing. What can you get for $90/ night in the states?
I'll be in Bogota until Friday 22nd, probably won't do any intercity travel. I've been to both Medellin and Cartegena only once, both are good. Most of the action in Cartagena is at the clock tower area and surrounding clubs, but you'll have to wait until around midnight for the girls to start appearing. Expect to pay 300 K COP for the very hot girls and 200 K COP for better than average. There are short time rooms near the clock tower for a reasonable fee, or you can bring them back to your hotel if you're staying somewhere decent. TLN will be a bit more but it probably won't last the whole night before she leaves. I guess if you can work it so you pay in the morning that might work. Two days is all you need to see the city. The beaches there suck, but there is one called playa blanca that is very nice. I took a bus there through Opitours that left early in the morning and came back in the afternoon. Others probably have better info as I'm a newbie in that city.

Most of the action in Cartagena is at the clock tower area and surrounding clubs, but you'll have to wait until around midnight for the girls to start appearing. Expect to pay 300 K COP for the very hot girls and 200 K COP for better than average. It's between 150 k to 200 k in Cartagena. You will rarely see them ask for more.

You could do the same on Avianca.If you hit the right day and time it's possible to get a BOG to MDE or vice versa, for 30 k on Viva Colombia. However, that price is usually a last minute offer. Avianca is definitely more comfortable.

Was at Santa Fe Red light district last night (Saturday) but all clubs were closed due to alcohol ban for presidential election. This sucks. Contrast that to the hotel cleaning prices where a single shirt can cost more than that.

It hit me differently than Cuzco. In Cuzco I had a severe shortness of breath and headaches for the first day, but the next day I was fine. In Bogota, I didn't feel anything at first. Then I had a beer. My heart began pounding. Then I went slightly uphill back to my hotel. It was a short one-block walk, but I felt exhausted. Got in the room, lay down for 15 minutes. My heart rate kept pounding. Accompanied by a headache and bad pressure around my temples.

Perhaps a good idea is to start by going to Medellin for a few days to a week, which will allow your body to acclimate to 5,000 ft and then go to Bogota. By then the adjustment from 5,000 to 8,700 feet may not be as debilitating and you may surmount it in a day or two. I'm just throwing out an idea.

I spent a few nights in Mexico City with no problems. I just found out its up at 7300 feet, something I had not known before. I have also been to Taos, NM (7000 feet) numerous times without an issue other than a shortness of breath when walking up some steep stairs. I wonder what that extra 1500 feet in Bogota will do to me.

Now would someone try and clarify the climate in Bogota? What I read are a lot of contradictions. I keep seeing Bogota referred to as "cold" or chilly" (including the article above), with highs in the mid-60's and lows in the upper 40's year around. Though I come from a warm climate with a hot summer, I don't find that to be "cold". In fact, by Labor Day, 50 degrees Fahrenheit will sound great. I also understand that Bogota can be damp or foggy, and we know how humidity enhances the cold. Yet other travel related sources refer to it as being dry due to its altitude, admonishing the visitor to hydrate by drinking more water. I visualize wearing a light jacket or a blazer, long sleeve shirt with jeans and regular leather shoes. But, when I look around Bogota using Google Street View, I see a lot of guys in their shirtsleeves. I curious what those who have visited have to say about that.

If you are there during rainy season expect rain every day with some days having a constant light rain. If the sun is shining it is usually comfortable. Most people in Bogota wear long sleeves and jackets. Many wear heavy coats. Wearing short sleeves will make you stand out.

The taxi charged me 45 K pesos to get from the airport to hotel. I think this is very high. He seemed to have some type of automated display of final price, but I doubt locals get charged that much. I wish I could take uber from the airport, because that's when you're most vulnerable to be robbed, not that it happens very often. But like you said, there are issues with uber as they are at war with the taxis. But uber is so much better for getting around town, and a lot cheaper. Only downside is you have to wait a few minutes for them to arrive.

It seems the weather is like home in the north east, unpredictable. Today, I went out for breakfast and it was raining and when I was done eating, it was sunny. Go figure. There is no exit fee in any of the Santa Fe clubs as the girls are free to move around from club to club. At least I think that's true based on the few times I've taken girls back to the hotel. This way you also know what you're getting compared to an escort where you're rolling the dice. I'm not aware of any escort review sites for Colombia similar to the erotic review in the US.
Also visited Pussy House in Chaperino and pulled a couple girls from there, prices are same as Santa Fe at 70 K COP. Had very good sessions with a couple 7. 5's. There was a 9 hotness girl that walked in at around 10 PM, but a guy immediately grabbed her and was talking to her all night without pulling her, so I had to settle for a bit less attractive girl, but they let me do almost everything I wanted within reason. It's tough to get bareback anything or anal in Colombia. I think the chances of BBBJ are better the second time you see a girl, but only slightly.
The girls are so cheap here that money is not an issue for me, the limiting factor is how many girls can I pull in one day before I'm exhausted and have to go back to the hotel and crash. And I have much more stamina than the average guy. Now if you use the escort sites, the costs can get pretty high, but as I mentioned in a recent post, I got ripped off by one of those using fake pics. Someone recently posted a site with girls with verified pics. I should have been smarter and used that site.
On a side note, a much bigger expense is the hotel costs. I usually stay in places between $60 to $100 US / night. You can get 3 or 4 girls in Santa Fe for the price of a night in a hotel. It's amazing to me to so many hotels charging $400/ night in Bogota and they seem to be fairly booked. This is a ridiculous price for Bogota. I'm guessing it's mostly business travelers where the company is footing the bill so they don't care.
Have stayed away from the North clubs this trip as they are all clip joints. High exit fees and girls charging too much. If money is no object then Lidos would be the place to be, but be prepared to get ripped off.Thanks! Great info. Can't wait to make my visit! I'll report back.
