Good report Jack, but you picked the absolute worst spas. Virtually all spas between CL72 and 100, and east of CR20 are ripoff joints in my opinion. You get better value and performance in the spas further north, past Mezz.Not true, Absolut Spa is really good if you like silicone tits and they have plenty of girls.
Sensity is good in the week, this girls have their boyfriends and private life so they only working girl on a M-F schedule normally. On Saturday at 11 AM everything except Absolut Spa will be dead.

I went again today and while I have no doubt that they bring in paid girls, today was 100% a couple that wanted a gangbang for the woman. I know this is well reviewed and recommended, but wanted to provide a quick May 2022 update. Much much better than the places in Zona T.
I tried a few places around 65 but the talent was not great, so I figured I would keep walking up to Tantra. I walked upstairs and there was a real nice guy running the show. I sat in the waiting area and got a line up one at a time, which I much prefer. I went for an hour for 80 k, but at first I thought it was 100 k. I am still learning spanish. The guy brought me to the room and showed me the bathroom. I paid him. To my surprise, the girl come into the room and handed me 20 k. I was shocked. I clearly spoke horrible Spanish and he had every right to keep the extra money.
Nice set up. You can't go wrong. Easy uber to and from Zona T if you are like me and still getting comfortable with Bogota. The actual procedures for getting an escort into your room, vary depending on whether you're entering the hotel with the girl or she is arriving on her own.
If she's arriving with you, you take her to the desk and tell them you have a guest. They will check her cedula, possibly scan it, or make a copy of it and then you can take her to your room. If she's arriving and you're already in the room she will go to the desk, they'll go through the same process and ask who she is visiting. She'll tell them your room number, they will call and ask if it's okay to send her up.
Some hotels won't allow visitors, especially if they are dressed inappropriately. Some hotels will charge a fee.
Generally speaking, the mid to high range hotels are located north of Chapinero. If you're planning on pulling girls to your hotel from Santa Fe, expect a lot of problems if you are staying in the north, where high range hotels are located. The women won't want to go that far, you'll have significant travel time and if she's dressed for working Santa Fe chances are you won't be able to bring her in.
Since you've read every post you've undoubtedly noticed that many people have recommended staying at Hotel Ibis Museo, because it's guest friendly and very close to Santa Fe.

I've stayed at the Four Points Sheraton Bogota a couple times before and a girl every night or every other night later (like 11 pm-12 pm) discretely was not an issue. Just needed to photo copy ID. Make sure you book for 2, or if you really want to be sure, then book separate reservations on back-to-back nights for two and then claim the different girls as your +1. If the reservations are different then they really can't do anything.

There's police / military everywhere in Santa Fe. Go to them. "Ayuda. Drugged. " and they'll get the idea. That may have changed post covid. One ploy that worked for me over the years was I would contact the front desk, explain to them I am staying on busines and I will be conducting job interviews and how can I insure my applicants won't be charged or harrased. I have found this style of business is pretty much a Latin America thing.This is true in most all of Latin America, but Locumbia puts a twist on it with bureaucratic process, paperwork, and non-functional websites. It's comical when it's a small amount, and madening when it's a large amount.
But to take it a step further. A few examples like this. One was an online purchase from Exito (Colombia knock off of target) delived by courier. Simple kitchen appliance needed for the apartment at cost of 120.000. Smoothish online purchase and no shipping charge, got it in 1 day. Novia claimed it didn't work like she wanted (I was fine with it). But those with a colombiana novia will know that there's no changing of that opinion. So whatever, she wanted it not me. So she does the return, the website worked but of course it asked for the purchase identification in 3 different order numbers, cedula, place of birth, blood type, and 10 other forms of personal information, and the credit card. Email with labels for return and courier picks up. So I check my card online. No refund. Wait a few days. Then a week, no refund. I tell her I'm just going to file the dispute with credit card co. Novia will have none of that, she takes it as a personal crusade to get the refund. Of course I have to help her log in and find the hidden customer service / complaints contact info, but whatever. So over the course of 2 weeks, she spends probably 10 hours trying to get the 120,000 refunded on my card. Without success. But better her to have that drama than some manufactured drama en casa. So I'm mildly entertained by it for 2 weeks. Then I file the dispute without telling her. Probably takes me 3 minutes. Case close but I don't tell novia. She gave up her crusade, and now has to bring it up every time we go to exito or carula (same company).
Got other stories like that with presencial stuff. Nail parlor, defective running shoes.
Got to laugh.
But if it was $500 with Dann Carleton. Damn, sorry for your loss.

An observation in talk with a few punters last week. SF looks to be super economical, and the actual rato or hora is. However there are surrounding costs which need to be taken into account. All are part of the experience and enjoyable unto themselves.
Taxi or Uber Chapinero to / from SF. Between 20.000 to 30.000 depending.
Beverages (water or cerveza) 8. 000 to 10,000.
Dances 20,000 to 30,000 each, To me this is like a taste of wine before investing in a bottle. It's a pleasurable benefit.
Ratos in the (relatively) better clubs are 50.000 to 80.000. Which I don't do.
La hora depends on la chica and your ability to negotiate. In my experience and I'm selective, it is between 120,000 and 180,000.
No-knock insurance / Propina for housekeeping 4,000.
Feel free to report on your rates and observations. It's very much a YMMV.
But compare that to what you see in PP, ME, or better agencies and SF isn't the bargain you think it is.
Before any trolls or flaming posts: in no way am I saying that the other aspects of SF aren't enjoyable in their own.

For the danger aspect. It's manageable if you take precautions. I only travel with cash and a copy of my ID document. Like 200.000 cash in a "sure steal this wallet" and my real funds zipped in a non-obvious pocket on my jacket.
Last time I waled around the streets and did the casa scan. NOTHING of interest compared to the clubs. I asked one 6 (at best) and it was 220.000 la hora / 80,000 rato. Yah, right. But I think I'm done with those strolls, I keep my head on a swivel and tonight I was certain two people were tailing me 5 meters behind. "Best" for me is some combination of dependability (punctuality with no chance of flake), available selection to my tastes, full GFE performance, and pricing.
In my experiences:
La Celestina. Has never let me down. My current favorite. Largest selection.
Niisha / SolitasParaTi. Also never let me down and best video previews. Used to be my go to without a doubt. Problem is that they selection has dropped significantly and less that fit my preferences.
Many, but not all, of those 2 agencies chicas will only book thru their agency. And they tell me they are happy to pay their cut without a doubt because of scheduling and security it provides (often a driver who will wait while the chica is on the clock). I'm fine with that.

This is true in most all of Latin America, but Locumbia puts a twist on it with bureaucratic process, paperwork, and non-functional websites. It's comical when it's a small amount, and madening when it's a large amount.
But to take it a step further. A few examples like this. One was an online purchase from Exito (Colombia knock off of target) delived by courier. Simple kitchen appliance needed for the apartment at cost of 120.000. Smoothish online purchase and no shipping charge, got it in 1 day. Novia claimed it didn't work like she wanted (I was fine with it). But those with a colombiana novia will know that there's no changing of that opinion. So whatever, she wanted it not me. So she does the return, the website worked but of course it asked for the purchase identification in 3 different order numbers, cedula, place of birth, blood type, and 10 other forms of personal information, and the credit card. Email with labels for return and courier picks up. So I check my card online. No refund. Wait a few days. Then a week, no refund. I tell her I'm just going to file the dispute with credit card co. Novia will have none of that, she takes it as a personal crusade to get the refund. Of course I have to help her log in and find the hidden customer service / complaints contact info, but whatever. So over the course of 2 weeks, she spends probably 10 hours trying to get the 120,000 refunded on my card. Without success. But better her to have that drama than some manufactured drama en casa. So I'm mildly entertained by it for 2 weeks. Then I file the dispute without telling her. Probably takes me 3 minutes. Case close but I don't tell novia. She gave up her crusade, and now has to bring it up every time we go to exito or carula (same company).
Got other stories like that with presencial stuff. Nail parlor, defective running shoes.

I'm just sharing my experience staying at the W Bogota as well as several other chain hotels. Pre-covid I traveled weekly for work and have all of the status you'd expect, yet they still try to charge me extra after you first +1 at the western hotels. They want you to check your girl in and most are trying to keep up appearances. At the end of the day just call and see what they say. The way I have gotten around it is by making separate 1 and 2 day reservations at the same hotel which allows me to have a new '+1' nearly every day. In this post Covid environment they may be more forgiving.

If a higher speed connection is needed you will have to be very specific before you book, asking the host. Even then you will need good luck.
A major business style hotel would be more likely to have a good connection. Or go to a co-working location set up for that.

All airbnbs that I have stayed in have had a locked front door and 24/7 security that opens it for you. I have only stayed north of Calle 80. If you read the airbnb house rules you can get a feel for how guest friendly or not a place will be. Some clearly state only people that checkin can enter for the duration of the stay. Others don't and I message those ones and ask what the guest policy was. The last airbnb replied back saying it was no problem, but if I get an internet prepaid and got drugged that it was my problem. That security wrote down name and government ID of my guests which is probably good for me.
Since I am still getting used to Bogota and my Spanish sucks I like the building security.

While we're on the subject of things you might not know, the Colombian Constitution allows citizens to own guns, with a permit. Granted, the number of permits issued are often restricted and I doubt if "I want a gun" is considered a valid reason to request a permit. If it's still there, there's a store which sells guns in Oviedo mall in Medellin.
Most of FARC disbanded after the peace agreement was reached. A small number, mostly paramilitary groups and narco traffickers remain active. In 50 years of active civil war they failed to control any significant portion of Colombia. It seems unlikely that a smaller, less supported group will suddenly develop the military power to overthrow the existing system.
I guess I missed the destruction of the US government. It appears to me that it's continuing to function as inefficiently as ever. I'll try to be more aware in the future.
The only thing that's always the same is the "Chicken Little" approach which you seem to use for everything. The sky isn't falling, and it's not about to start falling. The most that mainstream Democrats in the US have even talked about is 1) a PARTIAL rollback of the Trump-era corporate tax giveaway (to a top rate of 26.5% vs the 35% rate pre-2018), 2) an increase on the top marginal rate for individuals making more than $25 MILLION/yr (idk about you but I don't make that much) and who, for the most part, pay proportionately little if any taxes compared to more typical Americans due to the tax shelters available to them and the loopholes written into the US tax code by their lobbyists (last year Jeff Bezo's effective tax rate was <1%) and 4) a treatment of the capital gains earned by mostly wealthier individuals to the same way we currently tax wages which are the main source of income for poorer and middle-class Americans.
Regardless of whether you agree with any of that and MORE TO THE POINT, those proposals haven't gone ANYWHERE and EVEN IF they did it is highly doubtful they'd cause the capital flight from the safe-haven economy of the US that Petro's much more radical proposals could cause in a fragile economy like Colombia's.

Just for kicks I did message some instagram model types and was not worth my time. At least for me, that is where the wasted time is and maybe that's where a lot of the negative feedback with seeking is. Not trying to defend it because I don't care what others do. If you have some thermal undies they are a welcome addition to keep crown jewels at a comfortable temp. Apart from that some heavy jeans and boots and warm socks should keep you warm. Oh I almost forgot, I got my hands on an ushanka from amazon! Weather can vary at a moment, sunny but cold to rainy and extra cold. If your jacket is waterproof you should be ok.
Independents are doable if you are fluent in spanish. SF should provide you with all your girls but if you would like something different, the agencies or "reservados" might cover up for variety.

It will not go above and below that. At least there's consistency, and I always bring the same set of clothes when I make a trip there.

But yes, the temp tends to be constant with the "winter" months being somewhat colder. A friend of mine that lives there once told me that a couple of years ago during December / January it went down to -1 C, so I would not like to be caught out with that temp.

Best investment ever according to him since it can heat up the room in an instance.
I am really surprised the first time I was in Bogota that even a supposedly 5-star hotels here do not have central heat or even any heater whatsoever at all. You have to request for a portable heater to your room. WTF.
Anyway, now, I always asked my AirBnb host if they have portable heaters in the unit. I am not definitely not sleeping in a cold cellar.
I think Bogota is not exactly a popular mongering destination because of the weather.

I had to brace myself when I went to San Andres thinking it would be along the lines of Cartagena. I was shocked to find the island was even way cheaper than Cartagena.

I am really surprised the first time I was in Bogota that even a supposedly 5-star hotels here do not have central heat or even any heater whatsoever at all. You have to request for a portable heater to your room. WTF.

It is when I am inside trying to relax and I just have to sit there and freeze where the problem lies. In the American SW there is air conditioning to balance out the heat. In Bogota there is only jackets and blankets to mitigate the cold. But I have bought a small travel heater on Amazon to bring with me after all these years. I am from the American SE where it gets very hot as well, but, but come winter I am nowhere near the place because I hate cold.

When your lady joins you later, they can register her as the second guest. You can even try try to reserve individual nights. That way, you can have different ladies registered every day. It's a hassle but this is one way you can work around their restriction.

They will only check she's 18+ and that's all the control they can do.Most of South America isn't Colombia. In Colombia there are nearly as many policies as there are hotels.
Some hotels will only allow entry for the persons who initially checked in. Some will allow entry for 1 guest that is added to the room after check in. Others will allow only 1 guest per day and will add a charge for each guest. Some will allow or deny guests depending on how the guest is dressed or the attitude of the person working the desk.
The hotels, particularly the larger, international chains have to appeal to many different people. There are families, business conferences, church groups and many others who might be offended when seeing a half-dressed prostitute prancing through the lobby. Do they address the complaints of 100 guests per week who don't bring in prostitutes or cater to the 5 mongers per week who do?
Generally, if you're only bringing in a few girls per week, and they are dressed conservatively, most places won't have a problem.

But everything is smaller in Colombia to me. The hotel I stayed in Cali and my Airbnb in Bogota both have a queen bed and my feet hang off the bed if I'm stretched out. I'm 6' 3" and the bed is probably 6' but I usually sleep in a fetal position.

Idk if the danger is exaggerated or because I'm on the big / giant side for Colombia that people might be less inclined to fuck with me or maybe I just haven't ran into the bad people yet. Going to Cartagena and Medellin next. Maybe my luck will run out there.

Pre-Covid there used to be some higher class strip places in the north of Bogota. As far as I recall one was called Lola or Lalo. Most girls dressed like hostesses. Prices were way more than SF, but so was the quality.
Any update whether any of those places surived Covid closure and reopened?I was there years ago, on Cra 15. I've passed the old location many times recently and is now closed but it may have reopened at another location. The set up was a bar with lots of sofas. The girls were hot but WAYYY too expensive. The drinks were way over priced, you had to pay a fine to take the girl out of the club, basically an over priced tourist trap. I confess I let the little head take over one night and took a girl out of there. I got lucky because she stayed most of the night and the sex was over the top. I was thinking that maybe a map is not the best UI to search for mongering activities, maybe a table is better. Especially on mobile. Where you can filter by price, etc.
But I have been pretty busy lately so I haven't invested much time on the site. I also have received less than 6 k page hits in 2 months. I don't know how many of those 6 k visits are unique since I didn't use google analytics or any tracking, just a manual counter I programmed myself.
So I'm wondering if maybe it's a better idea to just remove and delete the project. I also will run out of free hosting soon, but I think it's more troublesome for me to add a payment / donations system than just paying 5 USD monthly.
Although if many people use it or have found it useful I could consider developing it further!
