I was in Cali last week and what a great time I had! I want to provide a full detail report on my Cali trip. I was there from sept 2-6th.

About me and my taste in women and my perspective in mongering:

His staff will help you with the translating and transportation. It's chica friendly place. He doesn't care if you bring girls back to the house. The house has a 24 hour security guard with cameras everywhere. It's located in a Santa Monica a very safe and wealthy area. He picked up us from the airport and drop me off from the airport. If it wasn't for Juan Carlos and his staff, I wouldn't have such a great time in Cali. He caters to your needs, what you want to do ask Juan, he can hook you up. He speaks perfect English because he is use to run a business in New York. If you are going to Cali, do give him a call for accommodation details.

I went there on Wednesday night. We got there around 10:00pm, the bouncer told us the sex show will start at 10: 30pm to lure us in. The fucker lied, we went in there. I expected this place to be nice but it wasn't, it was an old casa/strip club. We went up stairs and went to the room, there was a stage and a dancer pole. We sat down and the girls came and introduce themselves to us. Yes Flores Frescas does have some hot ass girls! The talent was awesome! So many hot girls I didn't know who to pick? !

A lot of people say the girls at flores fresco have attitudes, I can see where they are coming from.

The girls won't come and talk to you at all. You have to do the approaching and go talk to them! There were about 7 guys and 20 girls that night. We expected the show to start at 10: 30, but the show but didn't starts till 12:00am according to the one of the girls. None of the girls were socializing with the guys at all. It was just like the scene from the movie Revenge of the Nerds, where the nerds sat on one side and the Fat sorority Omega Moose sat on the other side in the pre-party scene. I was getting bored.. My friend was getting annoyed that the bouncer lied to us. I told him let's wait till 12:00am and see what happens. Patience is virtue, I'm glad we waited. The show started at 12:00am. All the girls came on stage started to dance around, than they came back out in there bikinis and they all started to strip.

Wow. Amazing! The women of flores frescas are so damn hot! The sex show started, 2 hot girls having sex with each other the stage. That was so dope! After the sex show that's when the social interaction between the girls and the guys started. My friend found his girl and I found my girl. I pick this hot brunette, with big ass with nice tan lines and big tits. Her name is Claudia, I'll give her an 8 out of 10. I paid 220K for 1 hour. Went upstairs and bang the shit out of her. She spoke a little English which helps! Great experience for the first night in Cali.

Bottom Line:

Flores Fresca hands down has the best looking girls. There were girls that can model in playboy and maxim magazine. If you like them with big ass and big tits. Silicone booty and titties! This is the place to be. I suggest you come around 11:45 just in time for the dance and sex show. I thought Flores Fresca building will be upscale but the stage room was kinda trashy. I don't know what the take out fees are. Fresca is little pricer than most places, but if you want top end pussy you pay the price. I would like to come back to this place again!

Escoces:

The next night we went to Escoces, it is near the Intercontinental hotel. As far as atmosphere is concern, this is a much happening place, like a dance club! Great music, great neon lights, people dancing, and girls were much friendlier and they will approach you. Some of them will grab and attack you. LOL it is a very fun! As far as the looks of the girls is concern, I saw about 5 girls out of 30 that met up to my standards. One girl name Gloria caught my attention, who was curvy, with a nice big ass, nice tits. I'll give her a 7 on my scale. Man, all the dudes were grabbing her throughout the night. Finally, when she walk by my table, I grabbed her to sit down with me. Her English is very limited, so it was hard to communicate. So I have juan carlos son to translate for me. LOL we agree to 120K for 30 mins. I bang the shit out her, she wasn't too bad. I heard the girls the minimum girls will charge is 120K. There is a take out fee of 50K. So you can take them back to your place. I highly recommend this place for everyone to go!

This is a day place, it opens from 10am-9pm. It's by the far the nicest and cleanest place I been to in Cali. It was on a Friday around 5pm when we went to Dr. Amor. There were a lot of dudes there, about 15 guys. What do I expect? Friday at 5pm? Guys are getting off work and they are horny. There were about 15 girls, they all came up to us and introduce themselves. Some had a orange wrist band, 1 had red wrist band, the others didn't. The red wrist band is a minimum of 1 hour and they are usually the hotter ones with the best body. The red wrist band cost around 70K for 1 hour? The Orange wrist band are the mid level girls, I think they cost 50K? The one who had a red wrist band had a banging body but she was a butter face. The rest were okay. There was this very stunning one but she didn't have any tits. I stayed for 45 mins to check out the other talent after they finish with their sessions with other guys. No one caught my attention. We took off.

Bottom line:

Best time to go is at 1pm. When all the girls are here, when there are less guys. Dr. Amor is a hit or miss. Again, it is free to go in! If you don't like the line up, wait for 20 mins or so. There will be other girls coming back out to the lobby after their session. If you see someone that you like, GRAB them immediately otherwise some dude will grab her and book the appt. This place is right down the block from Dr. Amor. After we left Dr. Amor, my friend told me about this place and ask me to go check it out. It's a casa. It's called Bubbles, because the guy who runs this place is a gay dude and he call himself bubbles. We came in the house and sat down, and I saw this hot ass light skinned sista who looked like Beyonce with big double DD tits wearing a tube top and tight jeans going upstairs. I already got a hard on. I ask Bubbles if she was available, but she was about to go to a session. Dammit! LOL So I decided to check out his line up, no one impress me that much. I haven't been in either city long enough to tell the difference. Since Cali is a very hot city, most of the girls like to dress less and show more skin. Cali and Safety:

A lot of people say Cali is a dirty city and it has no beauty. I expected a shithole prior to my trip. Honesty, the city is not that bad looking. Of course it doesn't have the views of Rio, Brazil or Cartagena or at the same caliber as Paris, London. Its not too bad! Cali reminded me of Medellin. They got some very nice part that is fill with trendy cafes, restaurants and boutique shops and some areas that are very poor. Since me and my friend Spanish is very limited. At first, I was very hesitant on going to Cali, When one of my latino buddy who speaks fluent Spanish back out from the trip. I talk to Juan about my situation and he took care of me. Either his son, business partner, or his translator shows us around the town. Not many people in Cali can speak English, so I highly recommend to go there with a person who is local or someone who speaks fluent Spanish. It is very hot and it is little humid but not as bad as New York humidity.

Use common sense! Stay sober. Don't drink to the point where you don't remember anything, it will make you a target, be respectful to the locals, you're the guest in their home country, if you need to take a taxi, call the cab company to pick you up, I wore jewelry around the town and I felt fine. I only took it off and hid it my pocket when I felt like I was walking in a shady area. Don't carry too much money, if you do, put most of your cash your under the soles in your shoes. I suggest walk around with at least 1 other person. Cali does not have many foreigners. I only remember seeing 2 gringos around. If you are Asian or look Asian, expect the people to call you Chino and get a lot of stares. I felt like a rock star! =)

I want to thank the people on the ISG board who have given me advice via email. You know who you are! If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be writing this report and went to Cali.

you might get ragged from some members here for paying some of those higher end prices but assuming you're getting top shelf lookers, i think the prices are reasonable; they're certainly not "client nine" prices, they're more on par with what guys are paying in the rio termas nowadays which i would say provide a similar level of service (the brasileiras are just as voluptuous as the caleñas, though probably better performers in the sack).

but 7 million cop for the infamous l. o.? time for me to start saving up, lol!

seriously, that's a bit higher than i expected, just goes to show how awash in dirty drug money cali still is. but thanks for confirming what i suspected, that some of these b-celebrity girls that work the rear-end, thong, and beauty pageants and car audio shows are available, although at prices that very few mongers would find worth it. we are just so jaded.

what you experienced in the clubs are the remnants of the party scene from cali's "glory days" back in the 80's. people talk about medellin and the escobar years but the cali cartel at that time was possibly even bigger. cali is traditionally a salsa town, and back then top tier salsa musicians and singers from new york, miami, and puerto rico would be flown down in private jets to gig at the clubs the kingpins owned. a salsa musician i know who did some of that work had some interesting tales to tell me one evening! that era was the peak of cali's party scene.

but cali is still a very fun party town with insanely beautiful women. putting aside the fun, glitzy, fake cali, i also find the regular folks to be genuinely warm and friendly, more so than your average paisa or rolo (bogotano).

it's true it's hotter but i don't think it's as bad as people say (certainly not even close to cartagena, leave that tourist trap for the italians, israelis, and spaniards! ). and the cool pacific breezes at night are just wonderful, perfect going-out weather, as long as it's not pouring cats and dogs which is kind of scary when it happens at night!

i also think it's not as dangerous as some people put it despite the bad rap. statistically speaking, the risk of something bad happening is admittedly higher but with medellin worsening somewhat over the past year, the comparison doesn't seem to look all that scary anymore. this isn't a place though, to "let your guard down" obviously. following the security protocols that people have discussed here at length is essential.

finally, if it's true that the castle appears to be in a very private setting without nosy neighbors in tall apartment buildings able to peer in from above, then that sounds very encouraging!

I can stay at the Sheraton for free, however I was wondering is that a bad place for a first timer to stay who doesnt speak Spanish. I used to stay at the mansion, but since I have been to medellin so many time I have just started staying at the Sheraton in El Pobaldo.

So is the Cali Sheraton a good place for a first trip to Cali?

I was at Juan Carlos's place the week before. Too bad our schedules were not in sinc.

I enjoyed the Castle Cali as well. However, having been to Cali like 12 times before I really don't use his staff's translating service and I usually go to several out of the way places. There are about 70 casas/night clubs that offer girls in Cali. It really is mind boggling.

I have had 1 girl at Floras Frescas for $150, 000 in house. I also took 1 out and the take out fee was $70, 000 and the girl was $200, 000 TLN. There actually is a 10: 30 show and then a 12:30 show. I guess if it's light on guys in the place they fore go the 10: 30 show. It is amazing how they put absolutely no money into the dumpy main area and rooms there. Other than the show however, I really don't care for the place. BTW- You didn't mention that there is an entrance fee of $15, 000 which includes a drink.

At Escoces I have enjoyed the girls and agree the place is very lively compared to Floras Frescas. You also didn't mention that all the girls walk around in their lingerie so I am hoping that this is still the case. I had a great take out session with a girl here but it's been awhile & I don't remember how much take out fee was but the girl was $150, 000 TLN.

Like I said I was there the week before you and La Clinica de Dr. Amor had about about 35 girls in the line up on Saturday around noon. Around the corner, my buddy Barbuja (Bubbles) had 11 girls. A couple I had already known from other venues. BTW-The place is actually called "Ropa de Bebe".

At Farraon (Pharoahs) there were 4 HOT! Chicas on a Tuesday night I had to do a thin blond in a white bikini. She was great and the facilities were not that bad seeing as we got there just as the girls were showing up and the place was clean. I think it was $50, 000 pesos for 1/2 hour cause my buddy surprised me and paid for my session and told me to hit the bricks with the girl so I didn't ask. Las Profesionales I have only tried once. And that was 2 years ago. At the time the blond you mentioned was in Europe. The real madam (and older lady) who runs the business showed up with the book. I chose a gal at $150, 000 and she was prompt and very professional but did give good animated GFE. So I too would recommend their service and you are right, SPLURGE at least once and get a kick ass model. I will do so the next time I use their service.

Praga is pretty cool and seems to be Cali's version of Mango's albeit quite smaller and less or no real fanfare. What I do like is there are actual dance floors to dance (upper & lower) unlike at Mango's. But it seems like it is the place to be. Cool that you were fortuanate to hit it on the night of the Best Ass Contest. Can't beat that! I've been to Praga's only twice, I like the place but there are so many venues in Cali that it is hard to keep coming back. I often do not go Mango's on my visits to Medellin either.

If you are going with to Cali with a friend and can speak spanish. Youll be fine!

If you or him do not speak spanish. I highly suggest you give juan carlos a call and he can arrange everything for you. Its not that expensive. He will work out a deal for you.

Thanks for the advice. I did send an inquiry via the website, but never got a response. Its always easier to just make your reservations online without having to do the email back and forth, but I guess thats how they do it. Cali (IMHO) has a better climate than Medellin. I have been there almost every month of the year and I have always found it to be warm and pleasant all the time. I like Medellin alot but the colder nights and the sometimes weeks of rain rain and more rain can be a bummer. Neither have a beach but I'd rather be in a climate where you never need a jacket day or night like Cali whereas many a morning or evening a light jacket is helpful in Medellin.

Medellin is know as the City of Eternal Spring but Cali to me should be the City of Eternal Summer.

Funny thing is so many Paisas tell me how hot and humid they THINK Cali is but yet I have never felt more comfort on a consistent bases in Medellin as I have in Cali.

Having said that, as the salsa hit song goes, "las caleñas son como las flores" or in English: Cali girls are like flowers. :)

One thing to add about weather: Medellin has much more variable altitude than Cali. If you're staying in Poblado or further up the mountain, than it will get quite nippy at night, more like Bogota weather. Bring a sweater or jacket. Now contrast that with early afternoon deep down in the valley: it will feel more like a hot summer day than "eternal spring." You will be sweating in your polo shirt.

So the real answer to the weather question is it depends where and when in Medellin.

Cali is hotter but it's not as bad as people say. You'll be fine as long as you wear light fabric chinos and short-sleeve shirts, and avoid walking during peak afternoon hours when it's hottest. The evenings bring in cooling breezes from the Pacific for nearly perfect going-out weather.

Not honestly sure what the "right" thing to do is, as I wasn't there. There is no right answer when just speculating what one WOULD have done but since you say he was laying on the ground, I would have stepped up the pace and dashed away without any verbal exchange. I live in a large American city and just THIS Christmas Eve, a 79 year old man was shot in the chin and in the chest during a robbery while he was loading chicken into his car to take to a holiday feast he was hosting with his wife of 54 years. RegardsI always stay at the Apartahotel del Rio and it is chica friendly. It is on Ave 2 close to Faroan and Dr Amor. The Intercontinental is nice, but it is more than twice the price. If you want a nice hotel like the Intercontinental, I suggest the Sheraton Four Points. The location is much closer to the action and the staff seemed friendlier to me.

I am always looking for a LDV or Help type of place.Bar La Viente is located at Calle 20 #7a-36. Two bars actually on both sides of the street. One is La Viente #1 & the other is La Viente #2. You want #1. Easy enough to check out both though since you just walk across the street to the other. In a heartbeat you will know you are in #1 because that's where all the people are. On Sundays, #1 is open til 10pm and #2 is open til midnight but you don't want to be at #2 that late because the fugglies and drunks are all that's left at that time. Go after 3pm but not after 10pm.

Medeterraneo is located at Calle 28 norte # 4n-72 tel 666-6981 run by James and his sister Pilar. Pictured below is a pair my friend and I took out for $120, 000 cop for an the hour but they stayed longer at no extra cost because it was the end of their shift. Again, in house is only $80, 000 for the hour.

A good friend of mine did research in Cambodia for a good chunk of time. He told me there is an expression there that translates to "I'll pay the money"

It means when somebody is giving you a problem/hassle no matter how small the issue maybe it's easier and cheap to hire somebody to kill that person then it is to sort it out the way we would US/Canda/UK/Europe/Australia.

You are correct, it's Medellin airport ride that costs around 60K, not Cail. Around 40K for Cali is what I usually pay, but I haven't negotiated it down like I should have. Lately, I've been taking the bus from CLO and MDE airports and then a taxi from the city to my hotel. Around 10K that way. When I get out of customs, I go straight to the airport ATM, then get some drinks for my stay at the airport (so I don't have to deal with the minibar), then check for a bus leaving the airport in the next few minutes. Typically, 15 mintues after leaving customs I'm on a bus headed to Cali/Medellin with pesos and drinks.

I stopped by some casas yesterday. Wow, really bad. I must have seen 25 girls with none higher than a 6. My guess is all the good girls are already in a room and the only way to get one is to wait and grab them the second they get out.

Checked out Las Calanas near CRA 44 and Roosevelt two nights ago. That night, to my surprise, slightly higher quality girls than Escoces at a fraction of the price.

Ok, I just came back from Cali after my 1st visit. I have been to Medellin and Cartagena so I wanted to continue my Colombia travels. While I liked it better than Cartagena (alot cheaper), I would put it behind Medellin. Medellin just seemed to have more things to do. I also like the fact that Medellin has strip clubs where girls actually continue to put on shows where as the Cali night clubs girls usually just try to sit with you and get you to buy them drinks and/or eventually take them to the back.

I've been lurking on this board for at a while, but have been traveling to Cali for several years. I wanted to drop a line at Caras Lindas. I DO NOT recommend this place! I first visited this place last year when it was located in Santa Monica. I never found anything to my liking there on that trip, but I had a few conversations w/ the owner (who speaks English quite well BTW). Back then I could tell he was frustrated by me stopping in his place like 3 times w/o doing a session. He tried to convince me that his girls were 'GFE' blah, blah, blah, but I told him that none of his chicks did it for me physically. I remember him saying somewhat jokingly that he should start charging guys to get in the place. Mind you, at that time he never had more than 6 chicas onsite.

That brings me to the present. In the new Versalles location, he now charges a 5k cover and the number of chicas has swelled all the way up to 8! I recently went there twice and again found nothing I liked. Don't get me wrong, his girls generally have nice faces, but none had the kinda body I like.

I would have nothing bad to say at place if not for 2 things: 1) he now charges a cover for a daytime casa in North Cali. This is the ONLY daytime casa in the entire city that charges a cover! On top of that, there are 3 other daytime casas w/I 5 mins walking distance of Caras Lindas that typically have 20-30+ chicas to choose from! 2) The second time I was in the new location, I asked to speak to a particular girl and they asked me how long of a session I wanted. I said no, I just wanted to talk to the girl so I could decide whether or not I wanted to session w/ her. I was then told that if I have a chica sit w/ me, I have to buy her a drink! This is simply unacceptable! Now of course, we're not talking at any big bucks here re: the drink or the cover, but it's the principle that matters. Of the dozens of Cali casas I've been too, this is the first time I've ever been told that buying a chica a drink is a requirement!

Bottom line: for a daytime casa there are less expensive, nearby options w/ more women and a better ambiance than CL.

P.S. As someone else noted on this board, they frisk you twice (second time by a chica who grabs crouch) before you take a seat in this fuckin' place! I find this very tacky. No other place in Cali does more than a quick exterior patdown. The owner is a overly paranoid as well as greedy!

If you want to try a second city in Colombia my recomendation is go to Cartagena.

Calenas do seem alot bigger than girls from Bogota or Medellin. Even the "models" or girls from the Mejor Cola contest for example are pretty 'thick". Sorry I have taken so long to report my stay at an apartment that I rented in Cali from Arthur. Arthur advertises his apartments on ISG and his company's name is calirentals. I rented the two bedroom apartment which is located in a great location. Best just rent a hotel single. Cause if you're like me, most nights you'll be going home alone. Unless you like overpriced sweathogs.
