The issue of Cali black women seems to come up from time to time. Having been to Cali a number of times, it doesn't appear that the black population in Cali is any different than Medellin or Bogota on a percentage basis compared to the Latina or white population. Yes there are black areas of the town, but on an overall population count its no different. The venue that always has a certain number of black women is bar San Sonero on Carrera 8. The majority of the chicas are latina though. It seems that the black women mostly sit in the back room; check back there.

Sorry, but with all due respect you are very wrong on this. Cali has a very much higher black population than Medellin and Bogota. You have probably stayed in the north of Cali most of the time. If one is looking to find black women in Cali, it's best to stay in the very south part of town. Near the Hotel Radisson Royal. Went to Cali, Colombia over Labor Day weekend. In terms of the scene, its not much to brag about. The city is decentralized with the casas all over the city. The taxi bill adds up and good luck trying to find a Currency Exchange around where you stay. I stayed in the Cali Plaza Hotel, it served its purpose and no complaints. Had all the basic amenities you would find in a US hotel.

Ok, so in terms of the action. I'll make it short and sweet. If you like backsides, stick with Dr. Amor. The first night I went in there, I saw something I like walk out. I did go back again one more time as I wanted to ask the flaca I was with the first time why she didn't show up to my hotel the following night as she agreed. She said that she lost my card. Actually, I gave her two cards, mine and the hotel business card so a pretty lame excuse.

A really nice alternative to the Spivak Hotel is the Hotel Now in the Granada area, which is near Sexta Avenue and other entertainment venues. It's a very impressive boutique hotel.

Yes it is less touristic. Not that many tourists go there. I was told its mostly businessmen.

Costs are slightly lower than maybe Medellin or Bogota or Cartagena, but not that much.

Yes English is less spoken. You need an intermediate skill in Spanish.

Yes fewer gringos, you do stand out a little bit, but its not that great a novelty to the Calenas.

Here's the basic info about la20 provided by bayboy: la20 is open from 2 pm-10 pm. Drinks are 2, 500 for beers and mixed drinks and soft drinks are 2, 000. More exotic drinks are more expensive. But I wouldn't walk it late at night, too many bad boys on the street. Cali does seem safer than Bogota especially compared to the Santa Fe area.

San Antonio neighborhood is a nice area to visit but I wouldn't want to stay there. That Café Macondo is worth stopping in and having coffee or a drink and looking at the pictures on the wall. There is jazz played at night. But its too far from the action on Ave. Sexta and the Granada area.

9's and 10's I can't help you with. Its all subjective to each monger.

To start I would like to thank the man that took the time to make the google map of Cali. Cali is not as easy as Medellin. I found a lot of the casas and night spots closed and / or moved to different spot. The following are the spots that are closed or moved.

Abelina moved to Calle 25 No 20 -10. Dunno the new name of the spot, but it was close to abelina.

Club Granada.

Ave 7 a Norte No 17 AN - 51. Dunno the hours but the card say 24/7. Basically its a night place to have drinks and bust.

Now to the spots I went to.

Bars La 20 1 and 2. This place is kind like a strip club but not really. La 20 #1 has a stage were the chicas dance on the weekend. But they only dance once every hour. Its basically a local hang out spot with loads of chicas on the weekends. The chicas charge 40 k plus room which I think was 13 k for 1/2 hour. The chicas vary from 3 - 9 in looks and then come from all over CO. I counted a hand full of 8's and 9's. Also there is a lot of silicone there, so if that's your thing your in good shape. I am actually living in Cali for already 1 year. I am Spanish so. Sorry for my English. You have many places to go, it depends how much money you want to spend. Or even sometimes you can get girls for nothing on local Discoteques.

I would recommend you "Caleas" . You have over 4 branches around the city, another nice place is "Dinas" on Autopista Sur with 50. Those places you can get a nice girl for 100.000 pesos 1 hour. If you know how to deal and of course if your Spanish is good enough.

More expensive is on "El Escoces" behind "Hotel Intercontinental". If you are lucky 150.000 for 1 hour, but all girls are tuned.

I spent close to a week in Cali. I liked the city. It is hot during the day but very pleasant after the Sun goes down. I visited some clubs at nights. I did go to some of the better clubs and the quality was good.

Clinicas de Amor. Ave. 2 and # 23 and - 23.

I went there around 5 PM on a weekday. I did not see a sign from outside. Walked in after a patdown by the guy at the door. I saw at least ten other guys sitting on the couch and watching the girls. As soon as I sat down, the girls from right and left came over to say Hello, and their names. I saw may be fifteen girls. I would say they are between 5 - 8. I selected Tatiana. We talked for few minutes, I paid the 70 K pesos for one hour and headed upstairs to the room. She was from Medellin and works at NewLife. She is pretty and friendly but very business like in the room. The room was clean and had shower. Session was ok, everything covered. The place and the girls, relative to the price they charge, is very good.

Calenas Club 2 - CRA 44 #5 be-79.

Around 8 PM Tuesday night I went there. I think I was there early. Saw six girls and only one other customer in the bar. Ordered a Bailey's cocktail for 20 K. The girls came by one by one and said their names. All very nice, mostly 7 and 8's. No pressure from the girls or the masero to take a service. I invited one of the girls to my table. She was form Venezuela and was in Colombia for few months to make money. The charge for half hour is 120 k and one for one hour 150 k. After a short conversion, I paid the 150 k to the masero and went upstairs with her. The room was very small with a single bed and a fan. I doubt all the rooms are like that. She was a nice girl but very inexperience. She said she was / is a farmacist back in Venezuela. The quality of the bar and the girls are good but if you go there, before you pay, insist you want to see the rooms. The one that I was in, was unacceptable.

Billar Bar Olympus. Cra 28 # 6 - 37.

This place actually does not have a pool table. On a weekday around 9 PM or so there were 10+ girls. All completely naked. There is 5 k entry fee. I walked in and sat behind a table. All the girls came by and introduced themselves. Most of the girls are between 4 - 6 and generally not attractive or in good shape. I saw one cute girl but she was talking to another guy. Almost all of the customers were Afro-Colombianos. There was no pressure from the girls to take a service or buy a drink. I had a beer (cost 6 k) and left. Upon leaving I asked the girl at the door about the prices. It cost 50 k / h and 80 k for one hour.

Dinas Club. Cra 50 # 10 - 31.

After not finding what I like at the Bar Olympus, I went to the Dinas. They are very close to each other. When I walked in, I think I was the only client. There were three girls. Few minutes later two other girls showed up but none attractive. I had a cocktail (cost 12 k) and left that place. The place is nice and has potential but the girls are mostly 4 - 5, at least that night. I asked the masero about the prices. It is 72 k / h and 140 k for one hour.

Calenas Uno. Calle 10 # 46 - 45.

Went to this club right after Dinas. This bar had good business. I saw 15+ gilrs and about the same number of guys. The quality of girls were good. Most of the girls are 7 - 8. The girls come and introduce themselves as soon as you sit down. I ordedred a cocktail for 16 k. Asked the masera about the prices. She said 70 k / h and 105 k for an hour but some girls may ask for more. I invited a girl to my table. She asked for 130 k / h. Whether that is the gringo price or not I don't know. If you speak Spanish fluently I think you can pay the 105 k. The rooms are upstairs. The room that I was in was a bit small but had shower and decent. She did say some other rooms are better if they become available. The session was good, semi GFE and very friendly. I liked this place.

Billares Lomas. Ave. 3 and # 71 - 25.

I think it was a Thursday night when I went to this Bar. It is on the north side of the Cali. Very similar to Bar Olympus except it was bigger and more girls. There is 5 k entry fee. Twenty or so girls, all naked. This place has pool tables. The majority of the girls and the customers are Afro-Colombianos. The girls are mostly between 5 - 6 and few 7's. I had a beer and left. The girl at the door who collects the 5 k said the prices are 55 k / h and 80 k for one hour.

Calenas VIP. Calle 10 # 38 - 84.

This place is on the north side as well so I tried this place after the Billares Lomas. I was there may be around 9 PM and that was too early for that place. There is 10 k entry fee. I was the only customer and there were three girls sitting on the other side of the bar. I ordered a cocktail for 20 k and asked the masero about the prices. The charge is 150 k / h and 250 k for one hour. He also said more girls are upstairs and will be coming down shortly. I invited a girl who was from Venezuela. Very pretty and friendly. I had a session with her. Session was good. All covered but very GFE and nice. There is a short term motel right behind this place if you go thru the back door. The room was clean with a decent shower. After we were done I came back to the bar so I can see the rest of the girls. By this time the bar was full. May be 10+ girls and mostly between 7 - 9. El Escoces. Carrera 10 Este #1-47 Oeste.

It was a Friday night around 9 PM and I think it was early for this club as well. I saw four girls and 10+ guys. I invited a girl to sit down wit me. She was from Medellin and very pretty and nice. The beer for and a drink for her cost 8 k and 15 k. We talked a bit then headed to the room in the back of the bar. The room was clean with the shower. She was very friendly and it was a GFE. Session was good, all covered. Upon leaving the bar, may be around 10:30 or so the place was packed. I did not get a chance to see the rest of the girls but I think the girls are mostly 7 - 8. The charge here is 100 k / h and 150 k for an hour. This was the last club I visited before leaving Cali.

Overall the trip was good except going thru the wonderful Mexico City Airport. I missed my both flights going and coming back from Colombia due to delays in the airport.

I stopped into Eventos Liz last night (Friday) as I am in Cali for several days and thought a weekend night would be best to visit. At about 9 pm, the place was packed with Colombianos and I may have been the only gringo there. I would estimate there were about 25 chicas. Regrettably, most were of the larger variety with huge culos and stomachs and hips to match. Not my thing. You should be aware that they have sort of a unique style of dancing in Cali. It's not something you're likely to use many other places. I don't know how advanced your dancing is, but if you're just learning, and you live in a big City in the US, you're much better off learning at home. But yes, you should definitely go out dancing in Cali. Remember -- with a group. The only club where you might be OK going just you and your buddy would be TinTinDeo.

Will be back down CO finally after a year long hiatus next week and in my free time and for hopefully less money looking to get some regular Dr. Consults and prescriptions filled. I have been to Colombia over 10 times but this was my first time out in Cali. Cali is as cheap as people say but I was disappointed in the quality. Girls in Quito, Panama and Cartagena who are from Cali are better looking than those who stay behind.

Eventos Lizz. Was free to get in, had about a dozen girls ranging from 4's to 6's. Beer was 3000 (just over $1).

Dr Amor had 25 girls but was too much of an assembly line for my liking. The Cali Plaza is too noisy. Besides the bar across the street from the hotel the building next to the Cali has Rave type music.

I could only last four days.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are not bad at the Cali, but the near the weekend sucks.

I moved to the Granada and it was so quiet in the room that I had to turn off my laptop because it was too noisy.

The Granada has rooms booked online for $20, but they are very very small. Get the double room.

They also have a Sauna and Hot tub, breakfast included.

Flew in from Cancun, landed around 17:30 and customs was a breeze. Took a taxi from the airport to Hotel Cali Plaza for $48,000 cop. It was closed when I was there last month. Sounds like you didn't inside to Dr. Amor. There can be as many as 20-30 chicas there at times. Another early flight gets me back into Cali before 07:00. I take a taxi to Chipechapi just to hang out since I know the room at the Cali Plaza won't be ready. Go to the internet cafe, check emails and other stuff then get some breakfast. After a while, I walked back to the hotel. Room was ready around noon and once inside, took a nap. After that, headed to Dr. Amor. The setup is different than the other casas. Here you are put in a big room with other guys sitting on sofas. Everytime a new person comes in, the lineup comes out. The room itself was fine but the noise is the loudest there. Second time after Medellin, I was again on the ground floor but it was the last room in the back. Noise level was much better and the room was much larger. If I go back, I think I'll get a hotel with a pool in it. It's was just too hot for me over there. But again, It's hard to beat the price and location of the Cali Plaza. Which reminds me, I wanted to do at least one prepago in Cali, but ran out of time so don't know for sure if this hotel is girl friendly or not.

It seems prices there have actually gone down over the years reflecting that noise factor and other competitors that have sprung up where gringos can stay.

My advice would be your Fridays and Saturdays are the evenings you're out all night partying in the clubs. If you partake of a chica at La 20 or somewhere else, you can session in-house or take the chica to a love motel. It seems silly to go to a motel if you're staying at the Cali Plaza but with today's exchange rates and the lower price at the Plaza, it's an affordable option.

I am not a Cali expert, but have visited the town and its suburbs a few times. I have not seen a place like Periodista. It seeems to me that calenos are more discreet. The area around Iglesia San Antonio is a Bohemian place, but it is not like Periodista.

First off, I have to say hats off to WT69 for all the excellent work and maps that he's made available to everyone, and to the forum regulars here who have put in so much useful info on the clubs. I have been RTFF and am trying to fill in some gaps. First off, I have been to Bogota, MDE and Cartagena but never to Cali. My usual preference in Colombia is to rent an apartment, but there seems to be very little talk about them, except an old list from WT69 on the apartment thread and the group indictment of the calirentals guy. So, what I'm looking to see is whether in Cali it's advisable to rent an apartment or whether it's just better in general to stay in a hotel. I'm fine with either and usually adjust to my location to decide which is most convenient. Secondly since I tend to like to do the TLN thing I can see that chica fee policies are vague and inconsistent, which of course seems from a quick glance to make apartment rentals more interesting. Still, with no feet on the ground experience in Cali I will defer to your collective wisdom if you have thoughts on the matter.

Secondly, the action seems to be centered entirely on clubs and casas. Nothing strange about this in Colombia but there's no talk about takeout or freelancers, aside form some sketchy street walkers. This is different in my experience than in the other Colombian cities. Is takeout not available from the clubs at all? Or are some of the chicas available outside of working hours? Are there any bars or clubs with freelance girls available that don't require you using rooms on premises? I can see from the forum that some of the guys have formed friendships and see girls outside of the working venue, but I assume that they do so BECAUSE they have formed a relationship, and not necessarily because this is a normal practice for a newbie to the area. Of course there's always social media, and I have one or two Cali girls I can see that I met in other cities, but again am wondering whether my impression is correct and that independent dalliances need to be arranged almost exclusively online or through an agency.

This is a continuation of a report in the Cartagena thread -- you don't need to read it to make sense of this report, but I wanted to explain the numbering in case anyone's confused.

Day 4 - Cali

After a short flight (I no longer care for Avianca's Int'l flights, but their short-hops are fine by me) to Cali from Cartagena, we waited for an Uber upstairs, then took the 30-minute ride into the North of the city where we were staying. After some research, I settled on the Hotel Spiwak Chipichape and look forward to doing so again; the rooms are only a little under US pricing for comparable rooms in similar areas (around $120-150/ night), but it's a excellent hotel connected to virtually eveything you'll need by way of the Chipichape see. See. -- every taxi driver knew where we were going without additional directions, and the hotel was a beautiful setup with gorgeous, modern rooms. A fellow monger from a different board was in town, and seeing as we always managed to miss each other in the DR, we'd decided to meet up at our hotel and head to Eventos Liz. After another money mishap (though my card was apparently fine, WU refused to send me another transfer, and Moneygram was being equally ridiculous -- I ended up borrowing a hundo from my wing, resolving to bring a card I knew would work in Colombia next time, and I just completed that task the other day) we got a bite to eat at the food court at the foot of the stairs connecting the hotel level to the mall and hit Eventos Liz.

Eventos Liz was by far and away the most fun I had at a singular establishment on the trip. The stage was low to the ground, there were 7's and up buzzing all about, and an atmosphere of high energy all night. After the prices I had been paying in Cartagena, I was shell-shocked to see the "Drink Specials" Eventos had going on -- a bottle of Aguardiente, a private room, and two private shows + two 20-minute sessions. For 140 k COP? My mind was blown, and I quickly paid the cost lest I wake up or find the price had changed. Sure enough the price was right, and the server brought over some cut up lime, a pitcher of water, and a bottle of aguardiente. As I was trying to figure out which girl I wanted, my wing and the other friend who linked up with us in Cali had found girls, and the server came to take us to the private room. Apparently something had gotten lost in translation, as apparently my friends and their girls weren't allowed to come to the room (I think the server thought they were picking out girls for me), and we shortly thereafter found ourselves being moved upstairs to a more comfy (albeit almost house party-looking) setting; I was unaware that after a certain time (11? 12? Anyone?) they convert into a straight-up casa. As the now-emptied bottle of Aguardiente was churning through my veins, I started looking to get one of those two lays out the way. Not long after, a sexy-as-hell, slender Colombiana with features that reminded me of Aubrey Plaza (April on the show "Parks and Recreation" amongst other things) was gyrating on the pole near my couch, and my dick made the decision for me. Naturally, the hottest girl of the trip was the one time I caught whiskey dick, and couldn't finish up within 20 minutes (though not for even the slightest lack of trying on the chica's part); I silently cursed Aguardiente Antioquia, and spent the next 30 minutes drunkenly gathering my comrades; my buddy who met us in Cali speaks a decent bit of Spanish and was going to stay, so I told him and the server that he could have my second lay and that we'd meet up the next day. After I finally got my wing to the Uber (and after an incident in which my wing left his phone in the Uber and panicked the entire time the guy was on his way back), I was ready to give it another go in the morning. I sat on the balcony, puffing a joint (we found a barber shop near the hotel earlier in the day, and my barber was able to hook it up at a dollar a J), drinking a gatorade, and surveying the view while thinking about how good of an idea trying Colombia was.

Day 5

After waking up too late for the free breakfast (which my wing assures me is great), I went to the Giros inside of the mall to get some much-needed cash, took a much-needed shower, and eventually linked up my with my wing to try Dr. Amor. The inside of the casa was clean and surprisingly modern and reminiscent of a proper waiting room, and we were lucky enough to run into a server that spoke fluent English. The parade of girls that strolled by were a lineup that definitely kept me from later seeing New Life as the be-all end-all, and the band system just really meant their prices ranged from "very cheap" all the way up to "kinda cheap". I picked a stunner in black lingerie, who took me back to the very clinical (heheh) setup in the back (my wing told me he thought he deep red Dr. Amor logo on the sheets was period blood and damn near flipped out on his girl LOL), gave a solid CBJ and threw some amazing pussy my way. His girl showed up, and I tried to give him an extra 20 k note just out of appreciation for him waiting for me and all that good stuff, but he said he already felt a little indebted for my buying him a powerade while we chatted, and kicked me some extra joints. He's a real good kid (and can cut hair like someone several years his senior), and I occasionally chat him up on WhatsApp to see how he's doing (my shit Spanish is exposed when we get into lengthier conversations, so there's another reason to practice). No matter where you go on this earth there are 20-somethings trying to figure life out and keep a roof over their heads in the meantime, and that's something I try not to forget.

After some football and a nap, we all call each other to find the same thing: Everyone's stomach is jacked up! We're all way too jacked up to leave our rooms, much less hit the club, and I spend the night peacefully asleep, followed by an early morning of annihilating the bathroom. Not exactly how I wanted to finish the last evening in Cali, but I'm pretty sated from Dr. Amor, so I don't bother looking that gift horse in the mouth.

Early Day 6

I get up and get a morning text from the friend who flew in to meet us; he offers to meet up at my hotel and go out to get some pre-flight action at one of the casas advertising itself as 24/7. We show up at this place not too far off Avenida 2 Norte (not far at all from Dr. Amor) that looks more or less like someone's garage converted into a bar. A 4 and a 6. 5 are hanging around, and a gorda with some sort of shit on her lip (anti-cold sore meds? Wasn't getting close enough to check!) keeps beckoning to me, trying to convince me to take her (not happening); after about 10 minute of humoring him, I tell my buddy I'll catch him after the fact, and I have one of the door guys wave down a cab for me. After damn near leaving my wing behind because he never bothered to pick up a Colombian SIM card and went out shopping right before we left for the airport, we headed off to Cali; the friend who met up with us for the Cali segment was going to hop a plane to Bogota, so the three of us split a cab to the airport, marveling at the beauty of the ride throughout. I think the location of our hotel and the relative closeness of most of the stuff in the area made it out as a less intimidating area to roam than Medellin, and even though the most beautiful lay of my trip was found here, I think that Medellin still edges the place out in terms of beautiful working women (and beautiful women overall). The whole trip, Colombian men in CTG and CLO insisted that MDE has the most beautiful women in Colombia, and refused to entertain any thought stating otherwise. That was definitely on my mind as we sat on the hour-long flight to Medellin from Cali, and would linger for the rest of the trip.

I was in Cali for Christmas (25-27). This was my first time in Cali. I usually end up in Bogota, Medellin, or Barranquilla. I thought that it would be interesting to be there for the Ferria de Cali. I stayed in Apartahotel Sexta Avenida. It was comfortable although the rooms were pretty small. I think I paid about 100 K per night. The staff was good. The most important thing to me was that the water was hot, the A / see was cold, and there were no bugs. It's close to a lot of the night clubs on Sexta Avenida. Surprisingly, there was a lot of action in the clubs on Christmas night. I actually didn't do anything that night. The next day I made an arrangement on Mileroticos. I talked to the guy over the phone and asked if the girl I wanted was available. She was so I made my way to the hotel. The name of the hotel is Apartahotel Rey de Oriente. As far as I can tell, it's a love motel with an arrangement with this guy and his girls. When I got there, I paid, was given a room key and told to go wait for the girl. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes. This annoyed the hell out of me, but the girl eventually came. She wasn't a stunner, but she looked like her pictures. I was taking a chance because a lot of time on Mileroticos, the girls faces aren't shown. She gave good service a decent CBJ and covered mish. At that point I had about two hours before I had to fly to Bogota to get back to Texas, so I went back to the hotel, checked out, and went to the airport.

All in all Cali was fun. It was more expensive than Medellin and Bogota, but I expect that is because of the holidays. I am sure that I could have had more opportunities at better prices had I come at any other time of the year. I'll have to do it again.
