The Calle 20 street meat falls into the 40 to 60,000 COP range plus 5 to 12 COP for the room.
San senero Club chicas ask for 70,000 K plus room but will accept 50,000 and they'll pay the room fee easily.
Hotel del rey chicas go to 60 K and they will accept 50 K or eat the 10 K room fee.
Bar LE Veinte chicas ask for 80 K Pesos They actually have a strip show in Bar 20 occasionally again much cheaper than Club Deluxe (600,000 K) or Eventos Liz (140,000) Cop or Caleanas VIP (140 K).

After old girl left me and Trip decided to hit some casas. If you ever go with him you better bring a good pair of shoes. He had me walking around this mf like it was nobody's business. I thought it was a bit weird so I questioned the guy. He said yes it is 5500 per hour but if you stay 3 hours it is 4500 per hour. I said people actually stay here 3 hours? He said all the time. So he gave us some little chips with numbers on them. And now that I fucking think about it, maybe those were the booths we were supposed to go in! (To be explained further in the report.).
So we leave that front room and go through a door. The first thing we saw about 20 feet ahead on the right was what appeared to be a trans dude. We both agreed it was a dude and when we got closer with further inspection it was definitely a dude. I don't know if Mr. E mentioned but when he and Bayboy went at 7:45 they were about to close and for some reason they gave us rooms to the second floor. I know this is in the wrong section, but I did find some monger action in Pereira. On Calle 14 across from Parque Libertad. Met a Gloria. Went to a short time hotel and did our thing. This is the third trip now over 4 years where that's been a hassle. There is an ATM as you exit outside to the right. I grabbed cash there. The Cab into the Grenada district was 57 k and took 25 minutes.
Hotel.
I elected to stay at the Gran Hotel Cali based on BayBoy's suggestion. It's basic, bust spacious, and the staff is very attentive. I like having a door person in this case. I've only brought in one girl, but no hassle. Cost is $26 for a basic room and $36 for a one bedroom apartment. , They charge a few more bucks for two people. The location can be a bit loud, so I suggest you request a high floor or back of building if available. Didn't use the tv, wifi good for browsing, but not if you need for work. For Saturday night I stayed at the Hotel Spiwak in Chipichape as I had a date with a hottie from Seeking Arrangement. Cost was $75 for a King Bed Suite. Overall decent hotel and right by the mall.

Hotel del Rey is a good bet. Yes they are charging 50 K. Sometimes even less in the short time hotels around there. Also I recommend going inside La 20 and check out the chica action. They are charging around 70-80 K. Always some good looking ones in there. Big tit Big butt is pleniful. One block from La 20 is San Sonero bar. They start at 50 K. The main reason that you Don't want to stay in San Antonio is not only is it a hipster (and relatively expensive) part of Cali is #1. It's the öld town of the city so they have to try to maintain the facades of the orginal buildings It's not like they can just plant a Mall out there.
#2. It's Hilly I could take a brisk walk to Av Sexta aka Av 6 a Norte but I wouldn't want to do it because I wouldn't want to walk down (then back up) the hill then cross several busy highways to get to Grenada or Downtown.
Pro tip to First timers to Cali stay in Grenada / Chipichape unless you plan to stay for months and your Spanish is very good.
The South is waaaaaaay better than the north and I know a guy (who knows Spanish and been to Cali several times) who primarily stays in the south based on my reccomendations. But to the first timer / short stayer it's best to stay near the action in the cluster of the most promient Casas and Clubs.
There's defenitely Casas and even the occasional Street walker in the South but unless you have a good Monger eye know Spanish and willing to learn the culture it's better to just get a Hotel in Grenada and call it a day.

Any thoughts on Airbnb's vs hotels? I read through the recent pages and did a search for "Airbnb" and it seems most people stay in hotels. Is it just more convenient to stay in hotels?Yes.
For the short stayer and first timer a hotel is more convienient. Don't overthink it.
An Airbnb is cheaper and more flexible but as a first timer theres a decent chance that it could rain during your stay and you might run to Medellin or Cartegena. If you're going to come and check out Bar La Veinte and Dr. Amor there's no reason why you need a Airbnb.
If you plan to use dating apps and want to wine and dine chicas in the hopes that they'll spend all night with you and possibly watch an NFL game with you then a Airbnb in a decent area near where most Chicas live (in the southern portion of the city) would be better.
First trip no Spanish Try to get a Hotel as close to Dr. Amor as possible.

I did not check out bar la 20 it will have to be on my next trip bro. I kinda wanted to get back to medellin after a few days. The main mission was to fuck this chick yei that I know from another girl paola. Ts have revealed extremely little on this topic. So it seems like I'll have to take lead and run point on this topic and bring the info to the people. .I think they're fear mongering, but up to you. The fee is standard and should be 50 k to 60 k from the airport to your hotel depending on where you're at. Cali airport is not that big and as you exit outside there will be an ATM on the right (behind class door) and a taxi line straight ahead. Give them the address of your hotel and you can ask 'Cuanto cuesta?' It's very straight forward. Honestly easier than trying to find the guy that's picking you up, but then again, it may be nice to have someone waiting for you for the extra $10.

In 17 years I have never had a problem with a taxi, Uber, or Indriver in Cali. In March I paid 25,000 pesos from the airport to Granada in Indriver. Back to the airport I paid 46,500 in Uber. And your hotel wants 97,000 pesos?
Another option is to take an airport shuttle bus to the terminal de transportes. Thats about 10 K. Then a cab from there to your hotel, which is about 7 K. A little bit longer, but a lot cheaper in price. It might be a little more to go to the San Antonio district.

I'm glad to do it and I want to see Cali develop more as a Monger haven. That being said it will NEVER be another Medellin Cartegena or Sosua. The reasons is if you look back to my posts from last year and my frustrations with learning Cali Mongering here requires more patience than the average weekend warrior / Point and Click cat has. There's no Hoe strolls, No Parque Llreas, No Clock Tower, No El Conde, and No Pedro Clisante here. I can't show you "Where the Hoe's at?" because it's not like that here.
There's no Hip-Hop clubs. There's only one place in Cali where they don't play Salsa all the time and that Club plays euro trash EDM / Techno music not good EDM but the garbage shit that they would play in bad 80's movies.
Cali is good for experienced Traveling Mongers with at least a fleeting knowledge of Spanish. , It's Not for the first time overseas Monger or even the First timer to Colombia monger (even though this is my first time in Colombia and my Spanish is trash) If you're a budget Monger and you like quality street meat or Casa Girls Cali has some of the cheapest in any second world country. The only place that comes close is Maybe Sao Paulo But Cali is still overall cheaper than Brazil because of the accomodation and food costs (Mr E may know better but he has a zillion trips to both places) You could also Make a case for the Philipines and Thailand but the problem is you'll pay more for the flights there.
Cali is also good for Mongers looking for low mileage to first gringo girls, It's possible with time to get a first professional fuck chica. I called Cali the Atlanta of Colombia for a reason.
I'm not saying theres no white spinners in the city that's stil the majority, but Calenos (residents of Cali) Like ass. Cali doesn't get a ton of Tourists (yet) so they don't necessarily cater the casas and clubs to foriegn tastes. The locals like Fat asses whether store bought or homegrown so if you go to the most well known places in the city You're going to see mainly fat asses.
If that is wildly incongruent with what you find attractive maybe you'd prefer Bogota.

I've never really seen a hoe stroll (may be close to what some south Florida strip clubs are like on a weekend). Don't drink Hennessy (I mean I would but I don't seek it out). I love Cali but there's some big downsides. Cali is primarily a daytime city, A lot of the casas close down at night .They service the local afterwork crowd. All the clubs are salsa clubs there's bars but there's no bars where you can expect to meet an expat or fellow monger like that. They don't play US sports on the TV's in the bars. In theory a chica will overnight with you but they don't generally even consider that a monger would want that.
On the flip side they aren't good at faking that they like you or are into what you're into. There's a few expats here but it's like African expats they get into relationships with locals and don't try to hang out or meet new expats. There's a group that I occasionally see at the Chipichape Mall food court but they're digital nomads not retirees so they are generally busy.

And restaurants going into the night; especially if you are into the beef thing. Plus other types of food too.
And Hooters on Ave, 9 has a satellite TV system. They can get you any football game you want. Plus basketball and baseball and of course soccer games. Its not as bad as your portraying Cali. But no prostitutes on Avenida Sexta.

Been in Cali since Sunday July 10th. This might seem like a long ass read but hopefully this will answer the question of a million future newbie mongers who decide to book the presidental suite at the Waldorf- Astoria and wonder if it's girl friendy.
TLDR: Every Hotel is Girl friendly till it's not. And High end Hotels are one of the most deadly places on the planet chances are dozens of people have bleed to death on that bed.
That's usually not the case for an Airbnb, or Vrbo or anyother homeshare site.

I need a little help. I'll be in Cali in about two weeks and I'm looking for a chica friendly hotel or AirBnb. Gran Hotel Cali doesn't have vacancy. The Cab into the Grenada district was 57 k and took 25 minutes.
Hotel.
I elected to stay at the Gran Hotel Cali based on BayBoy's suggestion. It's basic, bust spacious, and the staff is very attentive. I like having a door person in this case. I've only brought in one girl, but no hassle. Cost is $26 for a basic room and $36 for a one bedroom apartment. , They charge a few more bucks for two people. The location can be a bit loud, so I suggest you request a high floor or back of building if available. Didn't use the tv, wifi good for browsing, but not if you need for work. I enjoyed the people there, the ethnic mix, the cost of life and most of all I appreciated the "chill" atmosphere

Thanks it answered the questions that many people thinking of Cali should know, yes this town has some of the cheapest pussy in the western hemisphere, and the women are easier to deal with.

Just went to La 20. I arrived too early at 8 PM, the bar had few girls, and the bar on the other side of the street was empty.
The area looks dangerous for a turista. I wanted to walk around and see the group of SWs I saw from the taxi, but the area is too dark, without shops and my spider sense forced me to stay close too the lights.

I arrived here Tuesday am after a sleepless (middle seats) flight. Went to Caras Lindas (http://www.caraslindascolombia.com) which is close to the AirBnB where I'm staying. Calle 17 n #5 n-33B is the address. The "B" is important, it is an unmarked, corrugated steel door next to a black hair salon at 33, which took me a while to suss out. Ring the bell then a perfunctory pat down from the doorman. Through the curtain for a better pat down from a bikini clad manager type. Kind of a dirty seating area with a line up of four very pretty girls. The smallest, prettiest was only available for a half hour, so I picked "Michelle" a 20 year old Barranquillera (see photo). The photos are unretouched. I found Michelle very beautiful, compliant, wet. A great kisser. I wish I were fifty years younger. $120 K/hr, plus I gave her $30 K extra just to ruin the market for the locals. For me, it was $35 US very well spent. Rooms, showers and carpets are kind of nasty, but the girls were awesome. I may return.
